I didn't give Classmates.com permission to use my personal photos. Who or through what websites would give you permission to use my personal photos so that I can sue them. Does using a patrons personal photos without permission fall under Identity Theft?

They will not stop sending me emails. I have unsubscribe from the list but I'm still getting 5 or more emails every day. This is harassment! I will never speak a kind word for this business. I strongly believe that they are fraudulent.

They make it impossible to cancel your account. Even when I clicked an unsubscribe link, it sent me to some weird, unrelated spam site. It's clear they're a horrible company. I put my data on there 20 years ago and they have been spamming me forever, I just now tried to take action and realized they're a scam company.

I just had the same problem with Classmates.com as others are having. They just charged me double, with no notice! I immediately called them when I was charged. They refused to remove the charge or credit me. I asked to talk to supervisor, I was hung up on. They are very deceptive!

Do NOT click on anything in this site. They do NOT tell you that you will be agreeing to a recurring charge membership. They do not tell you that their updated terms of service does NOT issue ANY refunds for ANY hidden charges. Avoid this website! There is a reason why the their ratings with consumer affairs is 1 out of 5. After you start seeing erroneous charges from them, you call for a refund or to cancel and you do NOT have the option to speak to a manager, contact us by email only! This site is designed to steal your money and NOT give it back. I’m considering a class action lawsuit suit against these jokers. Avoid these thieves! Don’t go anywhere near their website.

In my opinion, they're deceptive, when auto-renewal of a 3 month subscription is the default. It wasn't clear when I signed up. Since I didn't then know I had to physically change it from the default online, they charged me at the end of my initial subscription. Then they refused to refund my money for the auto-renewal, even though I called to cancel on the very day the charge was posted to my credit card. I also found their service nothing more than trapping you into thinking people are interested in you, when all they did was to visit your profile. To me, they deceptively sent new emails, making it seem I had new people looking for me. I found they were basically the same folks for all 3 months. Nobody wanted to connect, they were just looking around. I think they're a company just taking advantage of a new subscriber's ignorance to their tactics.

I have been on Classmates for approximately 5 years and I have not had even one negative issue with subscription. I had found an old classmates page that I had many years ago, I called tech support and they immediately removed it. The only issue that I see is, recently catfishing pages are showing up from other sites to prey on the senior citizens who generally use the site. Thank you.

Renewed my subscription with no notice and double the price of the initial subscription. Called to cancel, they would NOT refund my money stating they sent an automated email, which I never received. I asked to talk to a manager or supervisor and they refused. Save yourself, stay away from this site.

Classmates.com make it difficult to get your money back, I have filed with the company that I used to pay for a 1 year subscription. Turns out it is automatically charged again at the end of the year and they will not refund. ONLY THIS THEY WILL DO IS TAKE THE AUTOMATIC RENEW OFF. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SERVICE, YOU WILL REGRET IT !!! T.O Milledgeville GA

Been trying for years to change my primary school which I have never been associated with. Choosing “Make this my primary school” where trying to get the correct school set up has not worked. Also, my photos reverted back to previous ones. Since the site did not function as expected and it appears they don’t sufficiently back up the data, I refuse to spend any money on this. A shame. Could be a useful app.

***False advertisement. They say it's a monthly payment then charge the entire annual amount and tell you you agreed to their non refundable terms***. They say you have all these messages from Classmates, see who reached out, get the membership to unlock the messages, then you open the inbox and it's a bunch of messages from them....their company called classmates!!! Not one human!!! So you pay $30, 50, 100 to get a bunch of ads and how to emails.

Stay away from Classmates.com. This business is not trustworthy. It will find ways to charge your account. When you find out and contact the business, the people there will blame that you purchased the service. Do not do anything with Classmates.com.

Total bs, paid $9 for a subscription to see one person I remembered. Logged in the next day to find my profile pic blurred out under people who've searched my profile. Then they want me to sign up for another subscription service. It's mind boggling how this site isn't shut down yet.

I haven't actually looked at this site in years .Even though I get notices that people had been looking at me. I did try to go on there the other day because someone wanted to see my graduation picture. I couldn't find where it was, but instead up come some payment thing for 3 dollars even though I have a free subscription. I thought okay. I can pay three dollars to look at my picture. I was billed $50.40. And when I explained what happened they said there are no refunds. It was also signed up for an automatic renewal! Be careful these people are thieves.

Was auto billed double the price I originally paid. I don't believe I would have ever signed up for auto renew. Customer service won't refund my money even though it has only been 2 days since the payment processed. I am disputing the charge with my bank. Not a reputable business in my opinion. Don't plan on ever using the site again.

I joined many years ago when CM was free. After several years of barely using the site I was offered a "deal" - pay for a year and receive a full refund. The "refund" was an invitation to a catalog site. Then, surprise! Auto renewed in a year at 3x the initial price. I never authorized that, but when I called to get a refund I was told "no refunds." In an attempt to lure me back I'm notified of several visits to my profile. Bogus! Why pay anything for this site? I guess CM can't attract enough advertisers. Most social media sites are free, which ensures subscribers, which ensures advertisers.

I have an email from Paypal for 96.00 charge to Classmates.com. I filed a dispute and contacted customer service. RUDE customer service. I did not receive an email for renewal. Classmates will not refund. My ONLY option was to change my profile to disallow auto renewal. I had all my information removed from their site. I had weekly and sometimes daily email concerning profile visits but nothing about a 96.00 auto renewal. If your information is on this site I recommend removing it and discontinue any association. I now have a 2 year subscription to nothing therefore nothing changed other than my information being removed.

SNEAKY! They claim that auto renew via paypal is obvious when you sign up. That people knowingly and willing agree to that. Yeah, well it's not THAT obvious and in fact most people are completely unaware of this!! And once your Paypal renewal goes through, there is no refund. CLASSMATES--DO BETTER!!

Unbeknownst to me they have an automatic renewal at double the price the original price. They claim they send an email 30 days ahead but I didn’t receive it. Never even use this site. Tried to cancel the day after they charged my credit card and they refuse to refund my money. If I could give negative stars I would.

I don’t use PayPal often, and only recently started logging in again after a couple of years with PayPal. Yesterday I was charged $21.60 for a sub subscription that I canceled over a year ago with classmates.com. When I went to log on the site there was no account found for me. Meanwhile, I’m getting charged $21.60 every three months for almost 2 years since I canceled after the three month trial. I exchanged emails with their customer service for the past two days telling them what happened and then I wanted a refund for what they took from me. I was told that no account was found. I gave them three different emails. The only ones that I have that it would be under and they couldn’t find it.
Funny how I could be getting charged every three months for an account that I don’t have. Finally I called the phone number off of PayPal and talked to a representative today who found my previous account. He was very helpful but told me there are no refunds and Said my account would now be canceled on the spot. Funny that I’m told that when nobody could find an account for me, I couldn’t logon anywhere, but they’ve been taking money from my bank. Then you find an account today and so you cancel it now? This was not the man’s fault who I was talking to today. He actually helped me but reiterated the no refund policy. I’m now out over $180 total due to this fares of a company. My recommendation would be to stay far, far away.

2 years ago I mailed them my yearbook to be posted on Classmates.com. STILL not posted! On my first enquiry, I was told the whole process could take 4 months. They have been good about responding to my emails, but still getting the same reply: "Due to the high-volume response, there has been a delay in posting yearbooks to Classmates. We strive to scan and return your books as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience." Two years of patience given so far. They refuse to give any estimate of when it might be posted.

After a couple/few years of subscribing, I realized, all the "visits" to my page were bull crap. If you scroll through names, it automatically says you left a visit with someone you didn't even know. So, if you look through a book or the section that asks, "did you know this person", they'll think you looked them up. What a joke it really is.

The Classmate’s customer service staff member I spoke with was rude and absolutely not helpful. I am canceling my membership and will not renew again. It is unfortunate a business that only exists because of their customers does not seem to understand that connection. Economic sanctions changes behavior immediately. I recommend we all discontinue our memberships. That would definitely encourage changes in their business structure.

Charged my account ahead of cancellation date. When I called them, customer service, "Too bad you lose. Goodbye." I wish they had a rating of 0, because that is what they deserve as these are unethical people. I see most complaints are regarding unethical payment processing. Classmates should be shut down.

My yearbook contained a mix mash of class activity photos that looked nothing like the original yearbook. All my class member photos were correct but that was it. Everything else contained activity photos from the wrong class year. I regret spending almost $100.00 for this reprint that looked nothing like the original.

I canceled this subscription after planning my class reunion. They then charged me over $60 for a year in advance. I called customer service twice and they were not helpful. In fact, they responded rudely to my asking to speak with someone who could resolve the billing issue. Do not use this service. It is a scam and once they have a credit card number for your trial account, you will be billed a year in advance —- even after canceling the service.
