    I began by using a free subscription for years. It naturally had limited access to the site. So just last year I paid for subscription at the base level and found it to be too limited for me. I cancelled my subscription and removed card information. Ultimately, I learned that the site allowed me to create a second membership with the same email address. It had been so long since I had begun using the free membership that I didn’t realize I was creating a second membership with the same email address. The problem for me was that there was no indication of which membership I was using.

    Second memberships with a duplicate email address has never been possible on any other site I have used. Classmates.com charged my PayPal account for an unwanted automatic renewal. And now it looks like I am not going to get a refund on the paid subscription. I think many will find something wrong with dual membership with the same email. Something stinks in Denmark.

    Cancellation policy, No refunds.. I am totally frustrated and appalled by these policies, automated renewal without contacting the customers., There needs to be review of their unlawful procedures and allow customers to get a refund.

    Can’t cancel once you join. Following the procedures the give results in complete failure. The “turn off automatic renewal” link is not present anywhere. It doesn’t even list your account number or a credit card on file. Was on the 3 month plan. Tried to cancel but charged me anyway. Tried to cancel the next renewal at that point. They finally acknowledged receipt of my request 2 days after their deadline and charged another $26. Of course no refund. The only reason they stopped my subscription was because I used my credit card company to fight the charge. Scam set up and false information to cancel rips off the consumer. They couldn’t pay me to rejoin and will cancel my “complimentary” membership that does nothing.

    Classmates is a major scam, you have to keep paying, I hope the people running this get convicted of the crimes they are perpetrating! You have to keep paying them and the information is false, these people need jail time, and to be convicted to the fullest extent of the law.

    I placed an order a yearbook and paid for it. Now I get no response from customer service. After repeated emails and they have no phone number, I can't believe that they are ignoring request for transparency.

    I recently tried to cancel my subscription and membership to this business and was unable to log-in to the website. Repeated attempts to contact them and recover the password went unanswered. I finally made contact by telephone and the customer service representative was extremely rude and unhelpful. I was told I was beyond the date to cancel and the payment was processed and non-refundable, even though I tried to contact them before the renewal date. Almost impossible to cancel and I still cannot connect via e-mail.

    I got ripped off by a scammer like Classmates. Classmates never replied to emails from me when I contacted them on this fraudulent charge through PayPal. I contacted them on the 9th of November and as of the 30th of November, still no response!

    I never was a customer but got billed 6 months ago fraudulently by PCH Classmates. I had to get a new card Now, I never used my card except 2 places and today PCH Classmates charged my NEW CARD (q. how did THEY get it, and 2, if they are obviously stealing and money laundering why hasn't Trump shut them down?).

    For years they kept showing me blurred images of two names that kept popping up as trying to find me. They showed me one person that supposedly messaged me but of course I had to join. I took the 3 month plan thank God. Only to find that nobody I knew responded to me. The two names that kept popping up were never shown again. NO ONE that I knew ever messaged me back. It’s got to be a scam. Lo and behold after my subscription ran out the two names popped up again!! You can almost make them out but over time when I went back to check the names always changed. Glad to be done with them.

    Very annoying e-mails, several a day, difficult to cancel. Reinstated my membership after not having it for several years but would not refund my charge. I tried to talk to customer service about the problems with this site but was denied a refund.

    Scammed by Classmates.com as described by others. Tried to get a refund of $96 for renewal I didn’t authorize and was told it was non refundable. I never received any emails from them regarding renewal. Do not sign up whatever you do. Very hard to cancel. Worst company I have ever dealt with.

    Saw that I had a “renewal” charge on my PayPal for another 3 months subscription. I would never have knowingly enabled automatic renewal for this subscription/company. I contacted customer service to let them know that I did not want this renewal and to please refund my money and I was told via email that they do not offer refunds.

    They sent you constant emails making you think your profile is popular, when it really isn't. They manipulate you into looking at profiles to say you visited them, and that is why someone has visited your profile. It constantly wants you to visit profiles for good reason.

    I was automatically enrolled in their two year membership which I did not authorize and to top it off they uploaded my new credit card info without my knowledge or authorization!!! I spoke with one of their reps and asked her how they have my new number and she said that they uploaded!! That is fraud and stealing.

    My mother had signed up for this and has been charged annually even though the account is not set up for her credit card to be charged automatically. I reach out to contact them after my mother had passed and Classmates.com did acknowledge the issue but was not going to refund my mothers credit card which was charge after she had passed. They would only commit to not charging in the future. Absolutely the lowest people on earth in my opinion!!! Total **!!!

    I didn't give Classmates.com permission to use my personal photos. Who or through what websites would give you permission to use my personal photos so that I can sue them. Does using a patrons personal photos without permission fall under Identity Theft?

    They will not stop sending me emails. I have unsubscribe from the list but I'm still getting 5 or more emails every day. This is harassment! I will never speak a kind word for this business. I strongly believe that they are fraudulent.

    They make it impossible to cancel your account. Even when I clicked an unsubscribe link, it sent me to some weird, unrelated spam site. It's clear they're a horrible company. I put my data on there 20 years ago and they have been spamming me forever, I just now tried to take action and realized they're a scam company.

    I just had the same problem with Classmates.com as others are having. They just charged me double, with no notice! I immediately called them when I was charged. They refused to remove the charge or credit me. I asked to talk to supervisor, I was hung up on. They are very deceptive!

    Do NOT click on anything in this site. They do NOT tell you that you will be agreeing to a recurring charge membership. They do not tell you that their updated terms of service does NOT issue ANY refunds for ANY hidden charges. Avoid this website! There is a reason why the their ratings with consumer affairs is 1 out of 5. After you start seeing erroneous charges from them, you call for a refund or to cancel and you do NOT have the option to speak to a manager, contact us by email only! This site is designed to steal your money and NOT give it back. I’m considering a class action lawsuit suit against these jokers. Avoid these thieves! Don’t go anywhere near their website.

    In my opinion, they're deceptive, when auto-renewal of a 3 month subscription is the default. It wasn't clear when I signed up. Since I didn't then know I had to physically change it from the default online, they charged me at the end of my initial subscription. Then they refused to refund my money for the auto-renewal, even though I called to cancel on the very day the charge was posted to my credit card. I also found their service nothing more than trapping you into thinking people are interested in you, when all they did was to visit your profile. To me, they deceptively sent new emails, making it seem I had new people looking for me. I found they were basically the same folks for all 3 months. Nobody wanted to connect, they were just looking around. I think they're a company just taking advantage of a new subscriber's ignorance to their tactics.

    I have been on Classmates for approximately 5 years and I have not had even one negative issue with subscription. I had found an old classmates page that I had many years ago, I called tech support and they immediately removed it. The only issue that I see is, recently catfishing pages are showing up from other sites to prey on the senior citizens who generally use the site. Thank you.

    Renewed my subscription with no notice and double the price of the initial subscription. Called to cancel, they would NOT refund my money stating they sent an automated email, which I never received. I asked to talk to a manager or supervisor and they refused.     Classmates.com make it difficult to get your money back, I have filed with the company that I used to pay for a 1 year subscription. Turns out it is automatically charged again at the end of the year and they will not refund. ONLY THIS THEY WILL DO IS TAKE THE AUTOMATIC RENEW OFF.     Been trying for years to change my primary school which I have never been associated with. Choosing “Make this my primary school” where trying to get the correct school set up has not worked. Also, my photos reverted back to previous ones. Since the site did not function as expected and it appears they don’t sufficiently back up the data, I refuse to spend any money on this. A shame. Could be a useful app.

    ***False advertisement. They say it's a monthly payment then charge the entire annual amount and tell you you agreed to their non refundable terms***. They say you have all these messages from Classmates, see who reached out, get the membership to unlock the messages, then you open the inbox and it's a bunch of messages from them....their company called classmates!!! Not one human!!! So you pay $30, 50, 100 to get a bunch of ads and how to emails.

    Total bs, paid $9 for a subscription to see one person I remembered. Logged in the next day to find my profile pic blurred out under people who've searched my profile. Then they want me to sign up for another subscription service. It's mind boggling how this site isn't shut down yet.
