Love the service. Easy to navigate the app. The website is easy to use. Customer service is friendly and helpful. Using the mobile check cashing had made life easier loading money onto my card. I have recommend this service to others.

I have been with RushCard for 5 years now and never had any major issues. They are always friendly in customer service and if there ever is an issue they fix it and compensate for it. Also I really like getting my pay early!

I been a customer since '05. It has been two day and I still haven't received my tax return. I can't access my account because my number changed. It's still not on my card and customer service isn't any help at all. Barely speaks English. I wish I could put a negative with that star. It's a whole Facebook page about you guys. I just want my money and I will never bank with you guys again.

I have been a long time customer and I was and am very disappointed with the ATM FEES. I don't think it's fair to charge $2.50 every time I need to withdrawal $ from my account. I shouldn't have to pay my money to get my money.

It takes me 4 calls before I get a rep. She tried rushing me off the phone instead of explaining to me what I wanted to know. I don't understand how I could go to an ATM and they don't charge me, but then you all charge me an out of network fee.

I just feel as long as I was a customer I have never won and when I look at the winners' list a lot of time I see the same people winning over and over again and yes it annoying 'cause I been a loyal customer but that's soon gonna change anyway.

Customer service never seems to try to help the customer. Never ever will they go above and beyond to try and resolve your problem. I will be closing my account very soon to open an Netspend account! RushCard is horrible. Now how’s that for a review!!

I’ve had my RushCard for something like 7years. I love it. I never have any issues and I love getting my checks early. It’s easy to use and I always receive notification of big withdrawals and I enjoy the app so that you can keep track of my spending. Thanks.

I feel I should not be charged when using ATM when I have to pay a monthly fee of 6.95. I have been dealing with RUSHCARD since November 2017 and have not had any issues. I even had my federal tax return deposited onto the card.

Just never get the matter taken care of. They just know how to take the money but knowing not to put it back. It's always some kind of fees they have to take out for some reason one or another or don't know how to count the money. Money come up missing or money say it's there and then we'll be able to use it or can't use your card search doors when your money is in the bank then you embarrassed because you know you have the money in there. The people are looking at the transaction that says you have the money in the account and you can't use the card because it's declining it.

Service is ok. I would prefer agents with better English. Sometimes it is hard to communicate, leaving some questions unanswered or getting off the phone confused. Some of the foreign agents have great English, but for the ones who don't it is very hard to understand.

I love RushCard!!! I have been with them for years and you are the best!! They get me my direct deposits early and the email and text communications are amazing. Customer service needs some work! They don’t speak English very well and give general answers. They can’t do much to relative simple issues and even though they are polite most of the time I can’t understand what they are saying and they don’t resolve the issue until I call 3 or 4 times.

It is absurd that the free money pass ATM, that we’ve been going to are now charging, plus RushCard’s bank is chary too. Why was this benefit taken away, please put it back it’s beneficial to the low income families.

My account was closed after having it for 12 years, for no reason! Customer reps were very unhelpful and unknowledgeable! It’s a headache trying to understand them or for them to comprehend me! I was a faithful customer for over a decade and I was treated like trash!

I love my RushCard family. I'm just ready to be one of the ones to win these sweepstakes and prizes sometimes. I also love the fact that whenever there is a problem with funds and deposits RushCard is right there hand and feet to fix the problem big or small. I love my pink babyphat RushCard. I get compliments about it every time I use it. Just wish for some customers that they know. Not going anywhere. We should be able to over draft. Just a thought. But I love my Rush experience and I'm here for another 11 years strong.

I spoke with a representative who told me fees will be charged for banks that use to be free. I am now paying more in fees to keep this account. No mailing explaining this just charged. I find this completely unprofessional and after being a loyal customer for 5 years. I will be moving on.

I've been with RushCard for almost 10 years now. I primarily used this card for gas and restaurant purchases since skimmers are known devices to collect information from debit/credit cards to commit fraud. I eventually had my payroll direct deposited for convenience of 2 day early pay... so much for that. Every month I have to call but the last 2 months it hasn't posted. Sadly I'm lied to when I call, by being told nothing has been sent over. Unfortunately I work for the bank and have access to ACH files and I can see my deposit posted. I've learned they hold the money to earn interest. This is no longer useful to me therefore I've cut the ties with Rushcard. I'm going to try Netspend, their fees are cheaper and I've heard nothing but good things about them. So long RUSHCARD, and for those who all patronize them good luck...

I have had your card for a year. Never had a problem till I got married and wanted to change my last name on my card. I was told to send in marriage license and new drivers license. Did my drivers license 6 times because was told all was blurry. Now I'm being told you need a copy of proof of address and a copy of my Social Security card. First I never gave you all this in the beginning when I got my card. Why do you need it now and second my proof of address is on my license. This has become a headache and I will be taking my money elsewhere. Getting my new license wasn't this hard and this shouldn't of been, this is ridiculous.

I moved and forgot to update my address, and when my card expired in February, they sent a new one to the old address. However because it was the old address it was sent back. When I contacted them they said to update my address to fax over some documents. I faxed over my lease with new address, my work ID, my social security card and pay stubs. They were all denied and was told I needed a DL or state ID. I stressed that I don't have a state ID that's why faxed over my work ID which has my name and picture on it.
It has been over month and Rush will not send me out a new card or release my money. I live paycheck to paycheck and have two shut off notices because I am on payment plan and because I haven't been able to get my money, I couldn't pay my bills. I don't even have money to get a state ID because I can't get access to my money! I have been with Rush for the past six years and never had a problem.

My mom has been a Rushcard member for years. So, she turned me on to Rushcard and since I’ve been using it, I love and enjoy it. I get paid early from work, and it’s very convenient. When I need to, I take advantage of the reload locations, but I really just use it for my direct deposit for my job. The Rushcard team has been excellent. Whenever I call and need to get something fixed or handled, everything is always 100%. I’ll definitely recommend someone to them.

RushCard worked out perfectly for me at the time when I wasn’t able to open a bank account because I had lost my IDs and I needed to cash my paychecks. I've been a RushCard holder for longer than three years. I've dealt with the customer service team twice and our interactions were very smooth. It took a couple of weeks for my first check to post and then after that everything was smooth.
Since using the card, I've gotten my paychecks two days earlier and that was extremely helpful. There are a few other perks, but I haven't had an opportunity to take advantage of them yet. But so far, I've been extremely happy with RushCard. I've been able to use my card to pay bills and make online purchases, and that was extremely convenient. I've used the direct deposit option more frequently and I haven't used the reload locations at all. I really love RushCard. The card is hassle-free and there are no hidden fees. It's definitely worthwhile and a must-have.

My card expires at the end of March. I haven't received my new card. The card was not mailed. They had the audacity to charge me $5 for a replacement card even though my new card wasn't mailed. I am out of the state and asked them to send it to me where I am and was told it would be a $35 charge to do that. Why RushCard waits until the month that the card expires to send the new one doesn't make sense. Also when you use the bill pay they wait ten days before mailing the check even though they take the cash right away. Doesn't make sense.

Worst customer service experience ever. The card is no different than any other third-party bank card. Regardless of that it doesn't change the fact when a customer needs help and assistance from anybody that is dealing with their money that should be handled with a delicate urgent attitude! I give good customer service where I work so I demand good customer service whenever I am the customer. Thumbs down 1 out of 5 stars!!! Showed Zero compassion for our issue and the ripple effect from their disrespect and unprofessional protocols caused lots of unneeded stress and problems in my girlfriend and I's personal lives.

I found 2 transactions this morning that are "pending" that I did not authorize, I did not make, I have no idea who they are from or what they are for. So I immediately call Rush Card so they can cancel the transactions while in "pending" status as this means the merchant has not received their money yet and this is the period where availability of funds is sent to the merchant. The customer service rep - who I could barely understand due to the heavy foreign accent - said there was nothing she could do and I was supposed to contact the merchant. What merchant? I did not authorize or purchase these transactions - I do not know who and what they are for. I reiterated that I know they are in "pending" status and can be reject by Rush Card. She said that was impossible.
After much arguing with this woman I asked for a Supervisor. She said I could speak to a Supervisor but there was nothing Rush Card could do. I was on hold another 20 minutes when the same lady came back and said she reached a supervisor and gave me her name. She put me on hold again - after another 25 minutes I hung up with no resolution. This is not the first problem I have had - there have been times when they put my money on hold because they had to issue me a new card and they wouldn't transfer the money to the new card or another card - I have 3 with them.
I would have access when the new card arrived in 7-10 business days - oh and of course I was charged $35 for the new card. Great! It wasn't enough I lost the card and can't access my money I have to pay to be able to get my money??? There have been other more minor issues but that's the thing - there is ALWAYS an issue with them. When I get this one resolved - I'm out. I'm done. Shove all 3 where the sun don't shine and I will go to NetSpend. I hear their customer service is at least cooperative in resolving issues.

My card was stolen Feb 19, 2018. As soon as I realized my card was missing I called and canceled my card. There was over $3000 taken out of my account from ATMs in a different state. I filled out the dispute form and faxed it to them. I just called and was told their investigation showed no error. Are you freaking kidding me? So now I have to send them a letter saying I disagree so they will open the case back up. My first call will be the BBB. Then I will be calling my lawyer. My understanding is that is where FDIC comes in to play.

Comcast sent money back to my RushCard and I STILL haven’t gotten it back on my card months later. I have to call people who don’t know what they are talking about and then hang up on me. HORRIBLE customer service! I have been a member for the longest time and now am out hundreds of dollars.

I contacted RushCard on Dec. 21, 2017 about my password all of a sudden not working and when I tried to reset it there was an unknown email address on my account they were sending the password reset link to. They then told me to send in a copy of my email I.D and a letter stating what I want changed and what I want it changed to. The first two attempts were unsuccessful because they couldn’t see my I.D picture clear enough. When I finally got them a clear enough copy to them on Feb. 17, 2018 I was informed it would take two business in order for corporate to process it.
Well here I am one week away from being a month and it still hasn’t changed. I’m actually on hold with them right now as I’m writing this. I’ve called them LITERALLY everyday this week to only be told to wait six business hours for it to be processed. They tell me they can’t communicate with corporate which is stupid and they get very upset with me for being worried about someone’s email on my account which I didn’t put there. Worst company ever!!!

After two weeks of sending an address request because my card is expired so I can't get my money out or do anything with my card, I've been put on hold for 25 minutes and each time they hang up on me. I've been a RushCard customer since 09 and this is the worst customer service I have received. I've sent in numerous documents for a change of address and they have gotten rejected. I do not know why they can't update my address over the phone like any other card company. I would not be having an issue if this was another card company.
At this point I am irate and just plain pissed off! Just a while ago I was put on hold to speak to someone who could possibly help and after putting me on hold three times, I was hung up on!!! I just want to update my address so I can get my money and close this account. I don't want anything to do with RushCard after these past few weeks of inconvenience and just plain grief over a simple freaking address change that I can't do. Oh and I can't do it online because they suspended my account... smh. I've always had problems with RushCard, after all this is said and done goodbye.

I had my IRS refund deposited into my account and when the money was released from the IRS Richard sent it back stating an issue with the deposit ID number then I was told it was my account number so they sent it back to the IRS. But when I contacted the IRS they stated if there was an issue the money would have never come to my account. It would have been denied before it was sent out. I'm on the verge of being put out of my place due to payment on Friday. I was waiting for the money to pay rent and bills. Now I'm looking for a shelter for me and my girls cause I won't see any money until April. Thanks a lot RushCard for nothing. You all are truly the worst.

Where can I start? I've been having issues with myRushCard ever since I put my direct deposit. They blocked my card and told me I would get one in the mail. When it never came I called back to see what's going on. Then they told me that I needed to do my security test which I know I passed with flying colors but I was told I failed. Now they needed documents that I gladly sent to get my card back because they have all my money now. It was either too blurry or unabled to verify.
Then I sent them through the online app and was accepted and still told I have to wait for corporate to accept so then I thought to put my direct deposit on another card I ordered so I can be safe for when my rent is due and once I got my deposit on my new card it was blocked for "potential fraud". Then I called them and told them what's going on. They told me that they tagged the wrong card and I have to wait. Now I'm left with no money and my rent is due. I'm gonna be left with no home and I cant do nothing about it because they have no number for corporate. I am stressed and depressed and worried because I'm gonna be homeless. That's is not ok.

I closed my account with RushCard 2 years ago. To this date I cannot get a refund for the balance funds from the account. For over a year before closing the account they would not allow me to change my address. Then once the account was closed they still would not update my address. I had to fax numerous times my DL and Social Security cards. They finally then told me that they had updated my address but that the main office refused to update it to match. According to the overseas reps they do not have an actual phone. Inner for the main USA office but they do know that the refund check has been sent out multiple times to an address I’ve moved from over 2 years ago. They also continue to ask why I can’t go to that address and ask the current residents to give me this mail. So, had I put this money in an actual bank I would have earned interest on it. But over 2 years and no refund is strangely suspicious.

I've gotten it for my tax refund. When I activated it. I only had it for three days before I logged in online to look at my transactions. And there was $2500 PayPal charge and a Netflix order on my list. Now I'm homeless. And they've locked my account.

I’ve been a loyal RushCard Customer since April 2012... I recently filed a dispute because someone compromised my card and ran up almost 3000 dollars. I have to keep my PIN number on the card because I have a brain tumor so my memory is pretty bad. I filed a police report and sent in all documents asked. I was told I’ll receive a provisional credit within 10 business days. I filed on the 10th of this month. So the tenth business day should be tomorrow. I called today and was told I’d get a decision on Monday... WHY MONDAY NOW??? All my funds were taken off my card and I can’t pay rent which is now past due and I can’t get my meds. I asked to speak to the dispute department and was told I couldn’t. I’m just tryna get my funds back so I can live. Now every time I call I can’t even get past the automated system... like what’s really going on?

I’ve been a member for 5 years. I stopped using my card for a year or so due to bad experiences I have had with dealing with the company. I just recently started using them again and nothing has changed. After I fax documents over to get a new card sent out I am withdrawing my funds & disposing my card for good. I would not recommend. There are many other alternatives. TRY NETSPEND (also free to load money).

I really do not want to spend much time than I already had with this company, however, this is the worst company ever. I was on hold for 45 mins and requested a supervisor and was informed there was no supervisor. I ended call and called back, now on hold a little over an hour. I will definitely be ending my account, because this is the worst customer service I have experienced in my life! Believe me, this is not an isolated experience; there is always issue with customer service. I have just had enough!!! Don't get a card with these people!!!

I've been with Rushcard on and off for about 9 years. It's always something different with them. Says two days early to be paid via direct deposit but never is and with all the fees I'm charged I'm better off waiting on a paper check and cashing it at a casino. Customer service agents don't ever speak English and they hold our money to gain interest. I'm cancelling my card after my money is finally loaded to it. Sorry not sorry.

My account was hacked a week ago and $900 was withdrawn from California. I live in Texas. My card was being used while I was using it here in Dallas. I filled out and faxed over the necessary paperwork and faxed it over the same day my account was compromised. Also faxed over documentation to prove my address for a new card to be sent out. The agent informed me today that my address documentation was approved today and they received the signed paperwork for my dispute. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that there’s no way I could’ve been in California and Texas at the same time. I have a car note to pay and bills to pay. I can not believe RushCard did not alert me of the suspicious activity. Now it seems they are taking their time and I’m scared this process will take a long time.

I wouldn't advise anyone to ever do business with them. I had a direct deposit coming. They blocked my card without permission, didn't issue out another one, my bills were due and I did know I was without a card till a whole week later. Then all my bills were extremely late. I called, got left on hold for 40 minutes, they can't give you the number to corporate, there's only one supervisor to talk to and the only thing they offer the customers for the inconvenience is a sorry and a "you'll get your card in 7 to 10 business day".
Meanwhile I have to pay 5 dollars for it and if I wanted an expedited card it's 30 dollars. (No fee waived even though they messed up.) They have been sharing my money for almost 10 years and that's the best they can do!!! I will be taking my money off this card when it comes and they will never see another dime of mines. Take care of your customers! Plus this is not the first time it's happened and not to mention their customer service really really sucks. I will be spreading the word on how they operate every opportunity that I get!!!

I get charged for everything. I've been with this company for a long time and still can't get no line of credit. Every atm I get charged with no refund. Disputes take a long time to be refunded. Being able to utilise any of my funds.

Loyal Customer since 1/2009. RushCard policy sucks, in reference to a canceled transaction! I went and got gas on 2/11/19 & before I went to pump the gas I noticed the sale price didn't change. I wasn't aware there was a cash price and a card price, so I canceled and didn't get the gas. Now RushCard is saying I have to wait 11 days to get the $50 that they're holding. They know meaning both the merchant and RushCard knows I didn't go through with the transaction! If I bought something in a store and returned it, it wouldn't take 11 days for my money to get put back on my card! Simply ridiculous, and I've never had a problem before as long as I've had this bootleg card!

I've been a RushCard customer for some years now on and off. I have really never had a problem until recently when I lost my card that has all my funds on it to pay my bills and it has been almost a month and I still have not received a new card. They gave me the $30 option to have it expedited but I cannot afford that and now have surpassed my second 5 to 7 business days so this is the second card now that I have ordered that has not come. My phone is going to be shut off and I am hungry and want to eat.

I have been a RushCard member since 2008! My problem with them is that my money was deposited yesterday from my job. I tried to get money off my card to pay my bills and I couldn't because they had the nerve to inactive my card and send me a new card without my knowledge about my card being inactive! I called them on January the 5th 2018 and talked to a lady in customer service and she told me my card was active! But no sooner my funds is deposited my card is inactive, they told me I would have to wait 5-7 business days for my new card to come in.
I was getting so many different reasons why my card was inactive. Now they took $30 off my card to ship me a new within 1-2 days. I received my tracking number saying my card was suppose to be here by noon. I called Ups and now they saying I will have to wait till Monday to get my card with my money on it, thanks to RushCard I have to stay with my mom until Monday due to them playing with my money. They had no right to do any of this and I am going to a lawyer about this! Now I just received my income tax on my freaking card and I cannot touch it!!!! Thanks a lot RushCard for ruining my day!!! They closed my account arbitrarily without my knowledge, and made me wait 2 weeks to process my $200 refund. They should have advised me of this and the reasons why. I feel like I should file a complaint with the BBB. And I received my new card, but was unable to activate it. Very upset!

It says that I get my tax return faster, but that is not true. Half of my tax return went direct deposit to my Rush Card and the other half to my bank account. The IRS said it will be here by the 14th. It deposited to my bank on the 14th but still waiting for it to post to my Rush Card.

You need to hire people who speak English so us customers can actually understand what they say. When I get someone I actually can understand after being transferred several times I tell them My issue and I feel like they are reading a script that's on a screen in front of them that I have heard each time I call about the same issues. I'm tired of my credits being held for well over the 3 to 5 business days that they claim it will be returned. I waited 11 days for one from Amazon and they had proof that it was sent minutes after I cancelled my order. It's insane!!! I'm just tired of this company and going to American Express serve who you can actually get an American that you can understand and get them 24 hours a day and they release the refunds immediately!

Took me 2 hours to get through to someone. My disability check is deposited each month to my RushCard. I want a direct number or another number to get a hold of someone over my money. Don't like this. My money is my life. What if I had lost my card. 2 hours someone could of spent it all. I not only one either. If you go to your page on Facebook you will read millions of complaints. About to lose me as a customer and just get 1250.00 deposit. And getting 14,000.00 but can't to the RushCard cause you only accept 9999.99 so really need to upgrade your policies and give us a direct number to reach a LIVE PERSON.

I got referred to RushCard by a coworker that I used to work with, and I've been a cardholder for three years. I only put so much on there because I had a problem with them one time. They held my check and said something about suspicious activities, and they could never tell me what the suspicious activities were. My account got closed and I had to reapply for another card. So, I had to wait another 14 days before I was able to even access my money. That’s why I dropped it down to only $100 every payday, and I haven’t had any problems so far ever since. I try not to use that card over the internet. I use it more for my deposit, then I usually just go to the ATM and withdraw the money. That way, I won’t have suspicious activities going on in my card.

How this company can justify completely locking out a consumer from their money for an alleged (no proof was ever provided) fraudulent charge is ridiculous! I see blocking the debit/credit card but the account altogether? Banks and credit cards don't do that! And the identity verification practices for a consumer to regain access to their account - it's criminal. RushCard block consumers from their money and that's not right.

This card changes policy without letting consumers know in time. Plus there is always a breach in card stealing money. And the company reps always from another country. And can't help fix any real issues. They pass you around after spending 20 min trying talk to someone.

I've had my RushCard for 5 years. At first it was very useful. I received my direct deposit the same day and same time every two weeks. Over the past 3 years it has been problem after problem. I NEVER receive my direct deposit on a consistent basis. Sometimes it's 1 day early (never 2 days early like advertised ), and most times I don't even get it early. This is the whole point of having the card for me. It's so frustrating because I know my company submits their payroll the same day every pay period. Sometimes I see part of my direct deposit in my credit union and not on my card, where is my money $? The inconsistency is ridiculous. Here I am... waiting for my direct deposit as usual, 2 weeks ago I had it already. INCONSISTENT.

I mailed (2) checks to Deposit Mailing Address: UniRush Financial Services 23074 Network Place, Chicago, Illinois 60673-1230. After forever trying to talk with someone from customer service they tell me this address does not exist and they are located in Ohio. I explained to them that I have mailed checks in the past that were deposited and their response was, "That's not possible." I’m 72 and I've known about RushCard for 10 years. I needed a bank account and I wasn’t qualified so I got them. I like that I get my money two days before payday. I also get my tax return early, and I’m able to do my daily pay with Rushcard. But what I don’t like is when they changed from Chase to Metabank. There was a holdup with my money and we had to email representatives. All the employees who had Rushcard did not get their money and everybody got the checks, so it was a huge mix-up. It happened twice but it was within 10 years, so it’s not too bad. However, I wish that their reps would speak more English fluently and not have foreigners answering the calls. I also wish they went back to Chase but since I can’t get that, I’ll stick with Meta.

I made a bill payment through RushCard to my Capital One account for $50 little dollars on Dec. 27, 2017. I have called and supposedly spoke to supervisors. If they are the supervisor we are in trouble because my 5 yr. old grandson can do better. I want my money and they keep saying corporate. Well what is corporate’s number so I can talk to them. This is the worst. I know if it's not resolved my direct deposit will stop and thank God I didn't put my taxes here. Already opened a new account so I wouldn't get any more late fees or interest charges when I pay a bill. RushCard you suck. Already told my family from Georgia to New Jersey that if it's not fixed we are out and will be getting more money after a lawsuit is filed for stealing people's money.

I've had RushCard for some time now. With it, my paycheck is always there on time and taxes get there quicker. Some cards charge monthly, but with RushCard, I can either do the monthly thing or just by the purchase, which is good. Their customer service is good most of the time, but sometimes it’s hard to understand them because the people are not from here.

I have had my RushCard for 10 years and I love it. I wouldn’t trade it in for another prepaid card. With it, I get paid two days earlier than the regular payday. Plus using it to pay bills is convenient for me. However, I can't understand the foreign customer service reps sometimes, so I have to speak to a supervisor. I also wish we didn’t have to get charged a dollar after every single transaction, and we used to get cash back after so many purchases before. But overall, I'd definitely tell others that RushCard is a great idea.

I had a relative that had Rushcard. He told me about it and I've been with them for a while now. I like that there's no overdraft nor a monthly fee. I've never had any issues with the card, except when they did their upgrade. There were a lot of issues then, but that was years ago. Also, I wish they had something like Apple Pay. It used to be that after the first 10 transactions, they took a dollar off every time you use it, but not anymore.
Using my Rushcard to pay bills is very convenient. I can just go online to pay. One of the best features, which I like, is the direct deposit. My money comes in two or three days early. Setting the direct deposit up had been very easy. I just went to rushcard.com, printed out the routing number and gave it to my employer. I also like how I can easily transfer money between two Rushcard accounts. My wife, my cousin and my mom also have Rushcard and if they needed money I could send it to them and they'd get it within 15 minutes. Talking with their customer service rep has gone well. Sometimes, I get someone from another country and it's hard to understand, but other than that, it has been awesome. I would recommend Rushcard to everybody.

I disputed a transaction and was told that I needed to wait until Feb 9, 2018 to receive my credit. Today is Feb 10, 2018 and now I am being told to wait until Feb 12, 2018! Every time I call it's a different answer. Representatives (4 to be exact) informed me that there were not any supervisors there at the moment and to call back in a couple of hours. So RushCard has their agents in an entire call center with no supervisor for 7 hours? Ok... well that's definitely not a good thing, especially when none of them were able to tell me how to file a complaint! Something that should've been taught in training, 4 reps didn't know how to do. One went as far as to tell me no one has ever made a complaint against them that is why she doesn't know how to do it!!! I've been a member of RushCard since 2008, and today will be my last day. I have never and hope to never experience the terrible customer service provided by RushCard again.

I called and the customer service rep is rude and tells me I have to send a copy of my i.d. and social to this fax number. I have been with RushCard for 9 years and have decided to separate from them. I have recently gotten married and moved out of state. When attempting to change my last name on my RushCard, my license and social security card with my new last name on it would not suffice. They requested a marriage license. As I told them I took care of that with the local and state municipalities. My new legal last name is listed on my driver's license and SS card. After I faxed it over they would not accept them to change my last name.
I was told that they wanted my marriage license, one piece of paper had to be given to them in order for a name change, and they would not accept any deposited money with my new last name on it. I asked if I could just do another application, I was told my Social security number would still be the same so it will still link to the maiden name. My response, if the Social security number, address etc is matching why is my deposit being rejected. I discourage the use of this card! Once you sign up it's like doing a deal with the devil, you can't change it.

I have been with Rushcard for some years. I have referred my ex-husband, my 3 sons, an aunt and numerous others and not once have I ever been granted the referral fee. My most recent dissatisfaction with Rushcard was today, 02/07/2018. I transferred 150.00 to my son's card and for some odd reason, it went to a card that was found under his name, that he had no knowledge of. Now, I have been trying all morning to reach a live representative and to no avail. So, I reached out thru online chat, which by the way, I have been kicked out 6 times (so frustrating, but due to timeout). Anywho, I am told that Rushcard has no control over the money and the only way for him to get that money is for him to order another card with the missing card number. My son has to pay for his medication and this is a life and death situation and we have no help. He has a blood disorder, so this is crucial to his well-being. I will never use this service again!!

I’ve been with RushCard for 20 years and it’s just the easy way for me. It’s cool and convenient to use Rushcard in paying bills and purchasing online. However, their customer service sucks. Their CS reps are foreigners and you can't understand what they're saying. Every time I call, it’s always like that so I'd rarely ever call.

I'm very girly and when I saw RushCard online, they had this pretty pink card and pink is my favorite color. I was getting married at the time, so I would have a portion of my paycheck go on to that card, and I use whatever was on that card towards everything I needed for my wedding. That way, if I had anything left at the end, everything was paid off when we got married. I got my RushCard in 2003, and I got married in 2005, and I still use the card. But for a period, I wasn't using it because I ended up getting divorced, so my credit finally went into a trap. Also, I got injured at work and I went from two incomes to one income or half of one income. During this period, RushCard sent me new cards but when I went to utilize my card, it wouldn't let me because they deactivated the card. I had to try to figure out how to handle that and they helped me through that process.
It was convenient to use RushCard for purchases or bills when the money was there. Then the money disappeared and they had to figure out where it went because I didn't know how to put the money back on the card. That kind of made me a little skeptical on who had access to my funds since my card was just in my wallet. So it was more of a RushCard thing, though, every card in every bank has been subject to some kind of hacking or fraud. I'm starting a job after I've been off of work for five and a half years due to my injury, so right now, I use the reload location. It’s easy and there's one right around the corner from me. Now I am getting back to being able to manage everything finance-wise and RushCard keeps me in check. Whatever is on the card, that's all I allot for whatever it is that I bargained for. I would recommend RushCard. As long as their people stay true to the company, it will stay as a useful tool for a lot of people.

I have used the same atm for years. However I was not notified when Rushcard changed from MoneyPass to MoneyPak. This really grinds my gears because it is not my fault and I don't have $2.50 to give anyone. In the future, I would think that customers would be notified of changes like that. If the large customer base can't be handled and notified of changes, then why are we allowing OUR money to be out on the cards that somehow are benefited for y'all. And also the 3000 withdrawal limit a month and it is about to be tax time is preposterous.

I have had an account with company since 2005 and the agents that I've encountered this week is by far the worst agents you ever hired, I think that you should review the list and fire every female that answered the phone when I called. Their English is terrible, I had to constantly repeat myself and they were rude. I was hung up on many times. I ordered a card on the 23rd that I didn't receive and was charged for. So now it's my payday and I have to get this card expedited and I am being charged again! I use to be this company's number 1 fan, unfortunately for me I did my taxes and it's on the way to this account but soon as I receive it. I am done with RUSH!

I’ve had RushCard for a couple of years now and I use it to pay bills and stuff, which is very convenient. I don’t like to use my other debit cards that go with my bank in case something gets stolen. With RushCard, I like not getting overcharged or overdrawn fees. For reloading, I just go to Walmart and sometimes it takes 10 minutes to reload and sometimes longer. RushCard could have better customer service though. The last time I talked to their rep, I talked to someone from India and I had no idea what he was saying and I don’t think he knew what I was saying. I have a southern accent and he has an Indian accent. We just couldn’t communicate. I get load type of alert or promotional stuff from RushCard so I just call when I see something suspicious with their alerts. They also started sending alerts about my last purchase. For anybody looking to pay bills, I'd tell them that RushCard is perfect and the fees are good too.

During Hurricane Sandy, RushCard was the only thing that was working. I use it as a debit card and I like it because I was able to upload my paychecks on there. I chose it over others because of Russell Simmons and I do direct deposit on it. It is very convenient to use and when I called because I lost my card, the people that I talked to were pleasant. RushCard was one of the first prepaid cards I can remember coming out. I've had RushCard within the month when they first started. I supported Russel Simmons then. RushCard has made it easier for me to not get into any problem because it’s prepaid, so get what I needed on there. I also like being able to check people who fraud. Paying bills online and making purchases online were very convenient and their customer service has been good. They were very professional and very easy to deal with. RushCard is a good company, they're worth it.

This is the Worst card anyone can own. My card was blocked without me being contacted. When I called the agent said the card had been compromised. I was asked why I wasn't contacted. There was no reason just an apology. I was told I had to pay for another card even though it wasn't my fault. The agent said I had to wait 5 to 7 business days. I told him I needed my card to pay my bills asap. He then said I could pay for expedited shipping for 30.00. That would take 1 to 2 business days. I told him I had to do that.
I waited 2 days. No card. Called company back and was told agent had Not processed the card for expedited shipping. So they had to cancel the 1st card and resend it rush shipping. I've never been so disgusted. Now my bills are even farther behind and all I could get from Rush Card was, "I'm sorry." As soon as I get my cash off this card I'm done. Ridiculous. Customer service needs a course on how to treat their customers. I'm Extremely upset.

I've been with RushCard for about 10 years now. I use it for everything and it has always been convenient. Plus I manage my finances better since the RushCard won't allow me to go negative. Also, they used to refund a certain portion of what they charge for the transactions I did. But, they don't do that anymore. I always do direct deposit, which was really simple to set up. Around three years ago, there was some issue going on with not being able to get our checks on time. RushCard was the only card that I use so after three paychecks that I was waiting on and they weren't sure it was going to come, I opened a bank account. The reps I spoke with were apologetic and sincere with it. But with people calling them asking the same questions, I could hear it in their voice that they were just as frustrated as we were. So now, I don't have all of my funds going through RushCard because in case I need my fund, I just have it large deposit going through my bank account. And then a portion that's not really needed, for me to save as well if I can, goes to my RushCard. But I still love everything about RushCard. I've recommend a lot of my family members and friends to get RushCard. And we all have it and we can send funds between each other.

RushCard is a joke! I've had them since 2013 and recently tried to do the referral program (started the process in Aug 2017). They continuously sent the card to the wrong address, even after calling to update the address 3 times. Then, when we finally received one card (now it's January) they're now claiming a referral code wasn't used, when they can see we've called over 20 times for this issue, and this wasn't our mess up! Our initial 20 applications were referrals, but now this one isn't? How? We did the same application EVERY TIME! How convenient that the one we ACTUALLY received wasn't a referral, right? The agent that we called did the application! How is this my mess up? Every agent says something different when we call.
We loaded the card & now they're saying it wasn't the first load! We just called in less than a week ago and was told it didn't matter, to go load $50 on our card now. Now, we're learning that isn't the case. So, like I said, their agents are horrid. They'll tell you anything to get you off the phone, then continue to lie to you. And they avoid making things right at all costs! I just want the $60 reference bonus, like promised. I followed directions. Your agents need to learn how to resolve issues, not make them worse. I will refuse to use RushCard until this is resolved, and I will post reviews every chance I get so you lose customers because this is completely not how you do business!

I got the RushCard in 2007 initially because of Russel Simmons being attached to it. And that it was a good choice. Their reps are always willing to help and figure things out. I love the fact that I get my paycheck three days before everybody else's or even before the payday. I have a bank account, which I also use, but I stick with RushCard because of the earlier paycheck. It's the ultimate biggest benefit I get from it. It’s also convenient using RushCard to pay bills and make online purchases. Though there’s a little inconvenience because some places, even with applications like the Cash App and different apps that I have on my phone, don't accept prepaid cards.

I have had RushCard since 2006, and it is convenient for me. I use RushCard only for my direct deposit, and it is pretty easy to set up. There were a few issues that I had as far as deposits not being there on time or a deposit that I did not authorize, and the RushCard team was really good in assisting me. RushCard works and I get my money two days before my actual deposit.

Been with them since 09, been purchasing offline for quite some time. Contacted them letting them know someone took 8$ off my card without my permission. They looked in the system, saw it, & told me issue would be handled. It’s a week later. Me & my 3 kids are at Walmart. I had a purchase of over 380$ worth of stuff & it would not let me purchase. Contacted them. They said my card was blocked because of an potential someone may have tried it to hack it. I gave them everything they needed in order for me to unfreeze my card & I've gotten the runaround. My utilities bills are late, my kids are hungry & I’m dissatisfied!!! RushCard is awful.

Good afternoon! Hope all is well. Let me preface this by saying I have been a RushCard customer since 2003. It has frequently been my preferred source for direct deposit and processing credits/refunds. You simply can't beat the 2-day early deposit and immediate credits to your account/card for returned items. My perception changed however in December '17. Upon processing a return for credit to my account in December, it seems that now Rushcard will actually debit/charge your account for the return amount and then credit your account for the same amount. Thus creating a "pending" hold/transaction on your account for 3-5 business days. The credit does not post immediately anymore as it did on my account for the past 15 years.
When I contacted customer care to address this change (I've done so on several occasions within the past month) all they can say is that this is occurring due to a system error. Corporate supposedly is aware and trying to correct the problem. These has been going on for two (2) months now. Is there actually a 'system' problem that is causing the credits to be delayed OR was there actually a change in policy that Rushcard neglected to advise customers of? Please provide truth, not customer service spin. One of the biggest assets of your product... CONVENIENCE... has been compromised because of this. RushCard is by far the worst prepaid company. I recently made a purchase with my bank debit card and when I returned the item, I asked if the money could be put back on my Rushcard. Everything was fine and the transaction went smooth. Within three days the money was credited to my account, but RushCard blocked my account because of “suspicious” activity due to the return that was made. I then sent in my receipt showing I had made the original purchase with my debit card and a customer service representative said my money would be available within 24-48 hours. Here it is days later, and the CSR is saying corporate has to unblock it. If I don't receive my money soon I will kindly filed many complaints with BBB. This is ridiculous and I'm ashamed to be a customer of theirs.

I have been a faithful member or RushCard since September 2016 I believe. Never had any issues until now. On January 18th I called a merchant to pay a balance owed which was $137.06. While on the phone with the rep she stated she received 2 errors and she would write down my information a send to another department to process. I was checking my balance as she and I were on the call and said why do a see to pending charges in the amount of 200.01. She stated she did not know because one that was not the amount she was attempting to debit and she receive errors when attempting to run the card. So I explained to not send to your other department. Let me call RushCard. This the start of hell!!! Called RushCard customer service and spoke to a rep and they stated needed the merchant send an authorization form to fax # and they would release the charges then.
I called the merchant and per the rep we don't have an authorization # because we got error. So the rep asked me to call RushCard with the merchant rep on the phone which I did. We connected, the merchant rep got my permission to speak to the RushCard rep which I stated was fine. She told them the situation. They said send the authorization form. We hung up from there, on the phone with the merchant rep, she creates the letter, faxes it to RushCard # provided. This was morning of Thursday, January 18. I wanted 4 hours, called RushCard customer service, told they did not have the letter from merchant. I hung up, called merchant, faxed letter again and rep confirms fax was received. Friday, January 19th, followed up and called RushCard for an update, rep says, "We don't have a merchant letter".
Called merchant, I now have a case # with them, they verified the number of times the fax was sent (3). Proceeded to fax again and this rep says, "Can you get them on the phone". Connect merchant and RushCard rep again. They state no letter has been received. So the young lady verifies the fax #, rep confirms that is correct. She faxes again. RushCard rep states, "I see it". So the merchant ask can they release the pending charges, again I am told No. They are unable to do manual releases. This is done by their "back office". Merchant rep states, "Can you transfer me to "back office"" - they say no. She asked for a supervisor, Rushcard supervisor apologizes but states it nothing they can do. They have the letters and will escalate and that the "back office" will need to call the merchant to verify. Since I had the merchant on the phone, rep says, "Can you transfer me", supervisor says no.
So all weekend out of $400.00 dollars. Called RushCard customer service, Monday January 22nd to follow up on status, rep says no update, I proceeded to call the 23, 24, and today January 25th, 7 days, well 8 without my money. Asked today, January 25th, to speak with a supervisor, she reads notes, states, "Oh RushCard called the merchant and they said they didn't know anything about it." I stated this has been 8 days pending cash at some point. This should have dropped. You have now 6 letters from the merchant stating release the charges and you are telling they need to hear from the merchant. So the supervisor stated she will escalate it again to their "back office". I don't know about you, I can't afford to have 400 held up. At this point I am so MAD and frustrated that I don't know what to do! Maybe this will reach the back office and you will release my funds!

I called in order a new card and the lady told me it would be a $5.00 dollar charge for the card to be sent out, so I told the representative never mind because I only had $4 dollars and some change in my account. At that point the representative stated that was fine because they wouldn't take out my account until next week when I got paid. So, I said go ahead. Little did I know that they were going to snatch my last few dollars that I was planning to use to get my prescription, I would have still said no. So I called the office back to cancel the order and they tell me there is nothing they can do. Well I'm sorry maybe $4 and some change may not be a lot to some, but I'm on a fixed income and that was my last and I needed for my medicine. So if that can't hire people who can speak and understand English first of all and know the company policies, then they don't need to be working there. This is not my first problem with them, but I'm fed up!

issue has been resolved after having to express my concern on consumer affairs but was getting no where with the customer service department. happy that my card is on the way and that they promptly took care of the issue in a timely manner. i am in the middle with being satisfied because one bad experience is all it takes. i have learned my lesson and i will be closing my account once i receive my new card.

They put a block on my card and the charge was placed back in my account the next business day by the company that charged me. I was then told I needed to send in verification documents because of my address change. I did that after sending them the information 8 times because they said they did not received it and at that time they told me it would be 24-48 for the update. It has passed that time frame and every time I keep calling they only say they can escalate the problem and it will be another 6 hours. They told me that 4 times and now the 5th time they are telling me it will be another 24-48 hours. This is ridiculous. I need a solution and I will be contacting my family lawyer!

I will be closing my accounts with RushCard. I have been a customer for 2 years. Today I contacted them to have a transaction disputed on my account. I made a purchase online and have tried to cancel and contact the merchant repeatedly with no success. I'm scared that the website may have been fraudulent. I asked for them to disputed the transaction and they told me that they can't help me get my money back. If I can't get in touch with the merchant then there is nothing they can do. I have used other prepaid cards and never heard of this. This lets me know as a customer I am not protected. I would suggest not using this card if you plan on purchases services and good because if something goes wrong they will not be there for you. Walmart MoneyCard provides better service to their customer and protects them a lot better.

On 1/18/2018 I used the same atm I have been using for some time now and noticed I was charged 18 In atm fees from RushCard and I tried to look up the atm locations just to make sure but their system was down. So I called and ask Why Their system was down and they told me they were updating their system but that I could still use MoneyPass atm locations Which my location was listed on there. And I did call customer service today (1/19/2018) but they were no help and refuse to let me speak to a supervisor twice. And I tried to contact someone at the corporate office but my call was on hold for over 30 minutes and disconnected.
I just want my money back because I did not know RushCard was no longer using MoneyPass atm locations nor did the customers service rep knew how long the system was going to be down or tell me not use MoneyPass anymore. I have been a long time member and I only want RushCard to do right and return my money ASAP.

RushCard as a prepaid card service, is a decent company to go with. I first joined RushCard in April of 2017. I enjoyed the service and wanted to share the services RushCard offers with others I believed could benefit from having a RushCard. I shared my code with friends and was able to get 95 approved referrals. I was credited with the $30 Refer-A-Friend bonus as each friend activated and made a qualifying deposit onto their card. The problem that I face is that I reached the $600 (20 Refer-A-Friend) limit, but 15 friends over this limit activated their card and loaded the appropriate amount on to their card. I was not given the payment for these 15 friends. The yearly amount is suppose to reset on the 1st of January which it did, but when the amount reset, they also changed the terms to receive the Refer-A-Friend bonus (all of my referrals were done prior to the change in terms).
I had been told for months prior to the beginning of the year that all Refer-A-Friend credits would be added starting the 1st of the year that were over the yearly limit. I feel that if only 20 referrals are allowed a year they should not allow others to sign up and use a code that is no longer valid or able to offer what is advertised. I am now getting complaints from these referrals and am also out 15 referrals I earned and worked for.

Rushcard is the worst! We have been waiting weeks for our funds to available to us! Our account has been frozen without permission because we lost our card. In the midst of trying to locate it; our account was frozen and then eventually permanently closed. We sent in all documents that we were asked for in a timely manner and we keep getting the runaround. The agents keep telling us that there is no corporate office or number and that everything will take 1-2 business days. We have been calling for weeks and we keep getting the same story. I returned 2 items on Saturday January 13 - the amounts are placed back on my debit card. However I see the credits blocked debits for the same amount - causing the money to not be available. I'm extremely upset about the RushCard I previously signed my parents up with the understanding that once they load $20 on card they receive $30 and I would receive money on my card for them using my referral link. Well NONE of that happened and not only did my parents get charged the $3.95 to load the $20 on the card but when the balance was checked another $3.05 was taken from the $20 that was supposed to be on the card and I've been trying and trying to get an actual live person on the phone and it's just impossible and I'm extremely upset and feel this issue needs to get resolved. I've also emailed RushCard and no response. So if anyone can help me out or knows how to get ahold of a live agent I'd really appreciate it. My debit card was set to expire in January, I called in December to replace it and here we are January 11 and still no debit card. I went to Walmart for groceries, tried to swipe the card twice and it didn't work. The cashier said it looked like there was a lock on it, I also tried to pay my phone bill through Cricket wireless and it also wouldn't work.
When I called customer care the guy was nasty to me, told me I was a liar and the card could still be used. He also said I never ordered a new card. They automatically sent one out but it won't be here until Jan. 18. I have had too many problems with this company and their rude agents. Not to mention this is some foreign company they use to manage our accounts. I will definitely be parting ways with this company. One for the inconvenience and two for the fact that I will no longer support businesses that outsource jobs to different countries. Russel Simmons you started this business to help ** better manage money but yet you don't use it as a source for employment for us or Americans in general.

Well I moved to new home and since I don't remember my online account information because I never used it RushCard does not want to send me a new card. So now I will be in a homeless shelter with my two small children. I've sent RushCard all the documents they asked for and still nothing... They keep saying, "We will make sure this the last time you have to call. We will fix this." They even noted my situation as an emergency where I need my money but nothing yet. So dissatisfied. They can talk to me on phone about my personal info by me just verifying my name and birthday but are extremely private about sending my new card. I sure hope my renewal card fees are waived since I've been paying for faxes daily to meet their needs.

I applied to receive a RushCard using a promotion code offering 30 dollars to first time applicants. After receiving the card and loading money onto it I realized I had not received the bonus that was advertised. I attempted to call customer service, to be told my application was blank, until the woman on the phone told me there was indeed a referral bonus on my account that she couldn't find unless I remembered the code I entered. I gave them the referral code and they told me it was nonexistent which meant they couldn't give me the credits. The ongoing promotion was one of the main reasons I signed up. I then spoke to a manager who told me they can't do anything to help me.
I went researching if there were others that encountered this problem and there's an insane amount of complaints on this specific issue. I feel I was deceived by false advertisement and the terrible customer service I received was the icing on the cake. I'd never recommend this to anyone attempting to receive decent customer service.

RushCard is HORRIBLE! They leave you holding for over 10 minutes when trying to call and speak with someone! I've been trying to get my issue resolved for over a week now! RushCard deactivated my card without my authorization and charged my account $30 for an expedited card that I didn't order! After call that confusion and trying to get RushCard to refund the charge they shipped the expedited card to an unknown address in Houtson, Tx aiport! I have to receive a refund or another card until I pay for another card to be shipped. I was told they have to pull the calls and verify all this info and it can take 1-2 business days! It's been almost a week including the holidays! I have no access to my money! Can't pay my rent or purchase gas, or food for myself or children! DO NOT PURCHASE RUSHCARD!!

I have been with RushCard since July of 2017. I called them regarding unauthorized transactions from December and I was told to send in a dispute form and within 10 business days I would receive a credit. I call them back and the automated voice tells me my claim was denied because they didn't see an error. Mind you I had been contacting them and even requested a new card within the process. Over $300 was taken from me by this merchant and I had already tried to talk to the merchant about it and nothing was resolved. They kept telling me if I wanted to reopen the case I would have to send another form and I informed everyone I talked to that was not going to happen because I've done my part and for a company to tell me the transactions were basically authorized are disgusting and unprofessional. I need corporates contact information IMMEDIATELY!!

I’m happy with Rushcard right now and I just referred one of my guys to them. I have three cards and I love that I'm able to transfer from one card to another really quick and easy. I leave one card with one of my daughters when they're home. A couple of years ago, we have money on the card and their system crashed. No one had access to their money for a whole week and a half but I still stuck with them after that because I understood the system. They made a public apology on air and I respected that. If I had to trust a prepaid card, I would trust Rushcard.

With RushCard, I have my pay earlier than my co-workers. However, I have issues with them. Last October 2016, I was working another job and I made a mistake on the account number so the whole check from that job which was $137 was direct deposited into somebody else's RushCard account. And actually, I haven't gotten that money yet. I have been waiting and waiting. Also, I referred six of my coworkers who until now are using Rushcard but I have never seen any money from the refer a friend for $30. It's like false advertising to a certain extent.

Instead of reading off a script and hurting people's pride and soul show empathy. RushCard replaced my card a day before my payday. I tried to tell her but in her non-english speaking, "Ooo I'm sorry it's done". I haven't ate in 3 days. It's Sunday. Mail doesn't come again until Tuesday. I even have a RushCard active in my household. They could easily transfer but still no. RushCard doesn't care about their customers is what this paints a picture of to me.

It’s easier for me to take care of my finances with my Rushcard, plus my sister had it too. Instead of trying to go somewhere and pay my bills, I can just take it off my card. It’s very convenient. However, I had to get a new card because someone went in my account. I talked to a couple of their reps and they were friendly. I told a lot of people about RushCard because it actually helped my boyfriend with his credit. I’ve been with them for a while, so I’m pretty much satisfied with it.

RushCard States you get your pay 2 days early, but you really don’t. I have had RushCard since 2007 and I have had 2 or more cards. I had a issue where I couldn’t get access to my pay for a week because it said pending. When I called the customer service reset my account. I was frustrated. I was leaving out of town and had bills to pay. RushCard isn’t all what they say they are. You get charged for atm fees they claim are free but they are not. After this pay goes on there I will be using a free bank account. I’m actually losing $10-$20 a month going to the atm and making purchases. If you advertise you get paid 2 days faster then make sure customers get paid 2 days faster.

RushCard was the first prepaid card I tried back in 2011 and I liked it. I normally give up on things very easy but I've had RushCard for a while. Whatever money I put on there, that’s all I got to use because I had a problem with that with my bank account. With RushCard, I could manage my finances better and I don't overdraft. I always use it online and it’s very convenient for me because it's a card. The only thing I use more frequently is the direct deposit which is very easy to do. They also have this thing where you can load a check which is awesome. RushCard is a great card to use and I even tried to get my sister to sign up for it but she already had a bank account. A lot of people don’t really know the greatness about prepaid card but I would definitely recommend RushCard to anyone.

On 12/21 I went to return an item to Target to get a refund of $29.99. I returned the item and $29.99 was credited to my account then RushCard debited $29.99 from my account. I called customer support and they said it was a known issue and they sent in an escalation and the money would be back in my account within 24 to 48 hours and this was on Thursday 12/21. I called on Saturday 12/23 and another customer service rep told me they sent in an inquiry for update and the funds will be credited back to my account before 12/25. I have been with RushCard since 2013 and this has been the worst experience I have had and especially for this to happen during the holidays and not even be resolved in a timely manner. I highly doubt I will see my money back anytime soon. If and when I do I will most likely close my account. This experience has left a really bad taste in my mouth with this company.

My rate is 0. My card information was stolen and used on over 700.00 of identical unauthorized charges made at Google on 11/24/17. After reaching out to RushCard and Google I have been given nothing but the runaround. RushCard had even initially denied my dispute all because I have myself used Google before, but only ever from my Google account and never any more than 9.99. They told me they would research the situation and apply a credit, but told me 9 days later that it was denied. Only problem with that, was that a day later after the incident Google had already did and completed their investigation and came up with all the charges were unauthorized and was willing to refund all monies and has even said it on conference call several time with a rep. That being said in nine days if RushCard would have did any or just a little research for real they would have known that and I could have had my money by now in credit or true form.
But still today, the day before Christmas, the people I trusted my money with still has not given me a refund and my 10 year old will not really have a Christmas at all and I'm in jeopardy of losing my home and car. This is my 1st step to warning consumers not to get a RushCard because protecting your money and putting customers first are definitely not their priority. I've been with RushCard since 2004 but I considered going to another prepaid provider. RushCard is wishy-washy; some days, they're okay, and on other days, they're not. I used to get two days of pay before my actual pay period, and I'm the kind of a person that lives from check to check, so two days in advance comes in handy. However, for the last few months, I would usually get my check on Wednesday morning. Now, I don't get my check until Thursday midnight. They were always lying and talking about not having received the check. I've been with the same guy for almost nine years so the payroll department hasn't changed. Something is going on with RushCard and it's like they're slacking. There is no reason for them to hold the check, but I feel like they are doing it.
I experienced a lot of language barriers and straight-up rudeness from their horrible customer service so I tried not to call them. But the reload locations are fine and I take advantage of them. I get to pay bills online but sometimes, I feel like RushCard could do a bit more, especially for the people that have been with them for a long time because, without us, they wouldn't even be existing. Some of us are having trouble maintaining our credit and RushCard claims they have a credit program, but they don't do anything to benefit me.

I’ve been a member of RushCard since 2010 but on December 8 2017 I had to call in to get another card sent out to me because all my numbers rubbed off my card so I’m unable to do anything online like Pay my bills that are adding up because I don't know my card number. I’ve talked to three different supervisors and they all have told me three different dates that I’m suppose to receive my card that I had to pay for. That I still haven’t received yet. This doesn’t make any sense at all. I’ve been a member too long to even be going thru this with them and I need to know what to do because I’m really about to just tell them to send me all my money out of this account and find another card service to use.

I got tired of dealing with banks. I tried RushCard and I've been with it ever since 2011. I use direct deposit and the money comes in a couple of days early. I love that. Also, being able to pay bills online or make online purchases is very convenient because I work two jobs and trying to get home and get off in time when I can is hectic.

This company is horrible. They close my account and did not tell me why they close my account. I had over $500 in my account and they sent me a check of $100 And it's been 5 months and I still have not received the rest of my money. They've been telling me to wait 5 to ten business days each time I call. I have called Every 2 weeks 5 months.

I have been with Rushcard for about five years. I had issues with getting approved and they were my only option. It's just that I couldn't access their account one time, but they reimbursed. While their customer service team is okay, I did have a lot of issues with connecting as far as calling customer service because something is wrong with their card or I need to change the address. Also, when you call for customer service, it’s unavailable. You just keep trying until you get frustrated, hang up and try to see if you can get them again, but that is very frustrating. But even though Rushcard takes a dollar off of every transaction, I love that they reimburse you at the end of the year, especially when tax time comes. Then you get a bonus for referring friends or you open a new account, or you’re transferring your government assistance. I will recommend Rushcard. I had a conversation with my friend and I was like, “I love my Rushcard. This is the bomb."

RushCard is the ABSOLUTE WORST! I ordered a card replacement on December 9th. It is now almost a week and a half later and my card STILL HASN'T ARRIVED. I don't understand why it takes so long for a replacement card to arrive. Most Banks will send a replacement by the next day and free of charge as well. Their customer service is also a joke and literally just said "Too bad". Thanks to RushCard, I'm now late on my bills. I will be canceling my account whenever this card arrives.

Rushcard has caused me to have no access to my money to buy my four children presents. I had called due to a transaction that was not approved by me whatsoever which was from U-Haul which I used almost 2 months previously. When I called to report after speaking to Uhaul the agent from RushCard cancelled my card without my knowledge. I advised the rep at the beginning of the call that I had moved but he had cancelled my card. Advised me to go online to update address knowing good and well that once he blocked the card I couldn't change my address or order a new card. It is almost Christmas. I have Four children that I have bought nothing for yet but what I was advised is that I would need to mail them my social my ID to now get my new address in the system just so they could send me a new card.
All of the problems was caused by RushCard not advising me that I would not have any access for gas for work, food to feed my children and they wouldn't do anything to help but say, "We are sorry." I am disgusted that after 2 years with this company I had to close my card right before Christmas for my 5-7-12-13 year old children who may not have any gifts because of RushCard because they closed my access to my own money and said there was nothing they could do to help. I have no cash, gas for work or food to feed my children and all they could say was they were sorry. RushCard wouldn't even assist me with getting my address corrected or my unauthorized payment back or assist me with being able to access my own money.
The company hires people who can barely understand English so how do we trust they are handling my hard working money correctly. I am so saddened that I have invested with a company that does nothing to help their customers when they mess up their money. I have no access to any cash and I am so upset. It's almost Christmas. The sad part is this is not the first time unauthorized money has been removed out of my account and RushCard never refunded my money. I believe they are stealing from customers and it's sad I am a single mother of 4 children. Why take from me? I am poor.

We have been with RushCard for over a year now and every time we seem to have an issue with our direct deposits nobody seems to be able to get to the bottom of it. My payday was 3 days ago and I still have not been paid and my company has released my deposit. So I have been on the phone with RushCard for 3 days trying to find my money and nobody can seem to get it right. Not to mention every time you call it is someone that don't speak very good English. I realized my card was expiring so I called into customer service to update my address and requested for a new card. What the customer service rep failed to tell me in the beginning that the card they sent me was the SAME numbers as the one I still have. I found this the hard way when I tried to order food!!! If I would have been informed about this from the beginning I would have NEVER requested a reissue of a new card. The second rep I talked to wasn't able to do anything and told me I just had to wait.
On top of that, I wasn't and still not able to use ANY of the money I have on my RushCard. Dec 4th was when I was told my card would be issued and expect it in the mail by Dec 12th. I called back on Dec 12 as I didn't receive it in the mail and the rep told me Dec 13 as it was processed Dec 4th and mailed in the afternoon so technically not mailed until Dec 5th. Today is December 14 and I have yet to receive my card. I have rent and bills to pay and I can't even use ANY of my money!!
This is by far the worse bank I have used in years. I can't even transfer my funds to another account during the mean time because I have to wait for my card to activate it first! I can't tell you how stressful and frustrated I have been the past week. Horrible way to handle your customers especially when you give them no access to get funds from their account. So disappointed!

I like RushCard because the money that I have deposited from my direct deposit goes on a couple days sooner than my bank. That helps out sometimes when I’m in need of cash. Although I still have a regular bank account, I just prefer RushCard and I use it for different things when I travel. I have four cards and some of my kids have it also. We can transfer money back and forth quickly. It only cost a dollar which is better than other places. Customer service is very flexible and very friendly. They take care of whatever I need. I always recommend RushCard to people and got a lot of people to join.

RUSHCARD CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!! Been a member since 08 and I regret it every year. I called customer service to dispute a charge and “JOE” tells me he is canceling my card with my funds still on it and that I have to wait 7 days for a new card! I did not authorize this and was told I should’ve known this was going to happen because of some paperwork I was given when I got my card in 2008!! I HATE RUSHCARD and the inconvenience that comes with this company. So now I’m moneyless for 7 days and all they had to say was sorry! Once my new card comes I’m taking all my money off and NEVER USING RUSHCARD AGAIN!

I have been with Rushcard for nine years and with it, I get paid two days earlier than I used to. I always have been to be able to switch over. Now I have two cards so I do it in between and transfer money from one card to another and it’s easy that way. I can’t use the one other card because the back on it is messed up and I had to send for a new one. But I still can use it to pay for things online. I use their direct deposit option and have added money to the card plenty of time. Every time I call them, their reps help me out. I have a good interaction with them and they never let me down. When I lose the card, it comes right on time but we can get it two days early if we pay the extra little fee. It’s convenient and I always recommend it.

I like Russell Simmons and it’s a great thing I get my checks a couple of days earlier through RushCard. I have used the reload option but I used the direct deposit more frequently and both are convenient. RushCard sends me too many text messages and e-mails about things and promotions that I don’t even qualify for. I only signed up for notification when I get a direct deposit or daily balances but they have become a whole other monster. It’s a losing situation because if I disconnect the notification for the e-mails and the promotions, then I don’t get the direct deposit and daily balance e-mails. Also, I have talked to an employee of RushCard and it was terrible because it was hard to understand him. Now, it has become hard to get to an actual person.
Two years ago, RushCard had the whole fiasco where we couldn’t use our cards and they changed banks. I didn’t have money on my card at the time but it was blocking the direct deposits so I had to wait for the day of the deposit because RushCard wasn’t doing the three-day advanced thing anymore. And then once the money was on there, they tried to resolve the issue. Also, Russell Simmons doesn’t have ownership of this card anymore and that is something I should look into.

My boyfriend has RushCard. RushCard to RushCard transactions is a lot easier. I also usually do direct deposits which are easy and on time. However, certain people don't accept RushCard, like I can't use Uber. Also, I was told I could set up an extra card for my daughter and I've sent in all the information, like her social, my social, my ID, and I have received nothing. Our information is out there and that doesn’t sit too well with me.

My son has been a RushCard user going on a year, he referred me a few weeks ago for us both to reap the incentive/benefits for me to become a cardholder. After following the instructions as well as watching the tutorial we both have yet to receive the $30 reward. I have made numerous searches to find a working number to speak with someone to no avail because there is no option to speak to a live person. This is beyond disappointing and we feel lied to, I think it's shameful to not be able to talk to someone, the live chat on the website doesn't even work, disgraceful.

I have been with Rushcard since 2009 and I use it to pay for personal items, dinners, movies and bills. I have direct deposit set up for it which is easy. I used to get paid two days early, but that stopped when my company switched to another company. Also, they charge $1 every time I swipe my card or I use the ATM. If we pay $5.95 a month to have the card, we should not get charged to do so. Other than that, RushCard is good and I recommend it all the time. In fact, I have a few friends that went to RushCard.

I always recommend RushCard. I've had it for about 10 years now and I get all of the typical things that I get while having a debit card. I use it all the time to pay bills or make purchases online and it's very much convenient for me because I'm a traveling nurse and right now, I’m on a job assignment, which is 16 hours away from home and I couldn't just go to the light company and pay my light bill.

I have all my bills coming out directly from my card and then I use it to purchase. But one time, close to the end of the year, they gave it back or gave me something back.

I already had a bank card but I wanted to get a little separate prepaid card. I saw RushCard in a Simmons' commercial and I was really excited about what he was saying. I was younger then and it was pink. I have RushCard for a few years now and everything is cool with it. Their reload locations are all over the place and I have recommended them to others. But the only way I can get to them, even when I simply want to talk about any kind of questionnaire and help me out on anything, is to go to the “My card got locked or stolen” option. So, it’s not a customer service rep that I'm going to talk to. They totally automate you which is the worst part and really frustrating. It would be awesome to be able to reach out to someone sometimes instead of just having to go through so much stuff, lie that your card got lost or stolen, then talk to someone who would tell you to go somewhere else.

I've had their customer service people hang up on me and there's no way to contact corporate. My rate is a 0. My funds has been on hold for 3 days. Made hotel reservations for 12/1, got to hotel. Card was declined due to insufficient funds. Was told to have merchant fax over an authorization letter, which they did 4 times since no one ever mentioned all the information that will be needed on letter until my frustration appeared. I was told yesterday 12/3 that the authorization letter was finally received and accepted and I will have to wait till today 12/4 for the department that handle releases open so they could release the funds. I called and checked my balance and still my money has not been released. This is taking extremely too long to release my funds.

Applied for a RushCard after a friend sent the link for the referral bonus code. After a few days of not receiving the bonus, I called and spoke with "Yasmin". She indicated a cash load would be required to receive the cash reward. Called back 24 hours after the "bonus" did not appear. Spoke to a lady named "Sasha" who indicated the cash load had not been done appropriately and that I would not receive the reward, neither would my friend. After she kept apologizing... Pointless... I asked to speak with her Manager "Ned". He was of no assistance as he said he could not assist and that he could do nothing.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR REWARDS OR referrals. They will just tell you they cannot do anything. My friend just also had money disappear from her account as they "made a mistake" and did not correctly deduct from her account for transactions from October. Super irritated and lost faith quickly with this company.

The "sole" benefit of using Rushcard over my credit union account is the fact that I usually receive my social security check 1 to even 3 days before the 1st of every month with Rushcard vs. 2 days AFTER the 1st of the month with my credit union. I've been using Rushcard for about 2 1/2 years now. The first two years were mostly trouble free; however, over the past six months I had two mysterious double charges and couldn't purchase food at a restaurant once even though I clearly had funds in my account. Neither the restaurant manager nor Rushcard could figure out why the funds would not disperse even though Rushcard reps confirmed the money and amount for the food was there. I had to go to an ATM to withdraw the funds. So embarrassing!!!
As for the double charges, Rushcard will quickly tell you to call the merchant, and I have no problem with that. However, when I did, both separate merchants said there should only be one (1) charge for the transaction in question. Rushcard does credit the double charge back to my card, but only after 10 days!!! That said, I think I am a reasonable person and so I understand that sometimes glitches can happen with technology, but 3 times in 6 months is far too many times for a prepaid debit card/banking service. But the bigger issue is that Rushcard reps refuse to acknowledge there is a glitch/problem on their end--however, after experiencing glitchy problems at three separate merchants, I'm pretty sure it is a problem on Rushcard's end.
In addition, I'm not sure what customer service standards they have over at the Rushcard call center but the representatives constantly try to over talk you when you call in. And it's not like I'm not allowing them time to speak. Plus it's entirely too complicated trying to reach a customer service rep to begin with. Anyway, instead of escalating the issue to the tech support team (if they even have one) for further investigation, Rushcard's customer service strategy is to deny culpability and pray that it never happens again, obviously. Well, it has happened again and I'm tired of dealing with this!!! So, at this point I sadly have to remove my social security benefits from Rushcard for obvious reasons. If you have other options for banking, go with it instead, until Rushcard will acknowledge and "fix" this glitch.

I've had Rushcard since I was 20 and I'm 37 now. I'm able to transfer money to someone who has Rushcard. I have two Rushcards and loading money is fast. I use it for everything. About two or three years ago, I had an issue where the deposits were not posting and the money was not available. There was some type of breach or issue that they had but I didn’t care because I knew that they’ll eventually put the money there. I really didn’t bother and just wanted to know what was going on. In the end, they rectified everything. They sent out an apology letter to everyone and they were willing to compensate for people who missed deadlines and payments that they need to make. I used to reload the card and it had been easy. They’re also up to date with the technology. You could send money or request your balance through text messaging.

I had a lost card and reported it. The first representative told me to call back on the seventh day if I haven't received it in the mail due to the holiday. So I called back to move forward and now a different rep told me that now I have to wait until Dec 5th. I called in on the 20th of Nov when I reported my card lost. Why do I have to wait this long now? I live paycheck to paycheck like most adults do, and I have to wait another week? The customer service representative that I spoken today, was not helpful at all. No regards of my feelings, and did not care to really help my situation.
I've asked several times to speak to an supervisor, and the representative told me "I don't want to put one on the phone because they will tell you the same thing." How do you have someone working for a company with that kind of attitude? I am extremely upset at this point, as he continued to talk over me, and still proceeded to tell me I have to call back tomorrow. Why do I have to waste my time to keep calling back for another rep to tell me I have to wait until Dec 5th? The real question is why do I have to wait this long to get a replacement card?

They post deposits different times all the time so you can never schedule payments, I’m still getting the monthly fee even though I get direct deposit. It’s just a mess. I’ll be switching soon. The call center agents barely speak English. We can’t understand each other.

Hello my name is Janet and I've been a RushCard member since 2013 and I have enjoyed my card. Never a problem if so they respond with solutions quickly. And the monthly fee are ok. Since I've been with Rushcard I have gotten two of my fees waived which was good. I recently did something so crazy. I got a Green Dot card in the mail. Just recently got another job so I wanted to feel like a cardholder with different cards in my purse. Well make a long story short I got my checks direct deposit to the Green Dot card one time now. Had the card about a week. Anyway they say you get rewards for using your card.
Well Rushcard I had used the card once about a day. I had 9.87 left on the card so thought I would go get me something from store. Well it kept declining my card. Well they took 4.67 of my money for a reward and left me with 4.25. Now who does that? Reward you with your own money. Now get this. You can't touch it for a year... WHAT!!!! Really, who does this. Rushcard just at that moment. I canceled my direct deposit from Green Dot to my loyal and reliable Rushcard. Thank you for being here for me and doing everything Rushcard said it would... RushCard has been with me for more than 10 years. I have my check directly deposited in it, which I get a few days early, and I have some of my creditors make direct withdrawals from it. But a couple of my creditors, like my insurance loan, won’t take the RushCard for some reason. For the company to directly withdraw my monthly payment for my car or my homeowner’s insurance, I got to have a bank, a routing number and a check to show, and I couldn’t set those up with RushCard. Also, if I try to call Rushcard, there is no line to get through to them. I just get a recording and I have to lie and say that I'm disputing a transaction so they'll call a person for me.

I've had RushCard for more than five years and since having it I know what I have and I can only spend what’s in there. I’ve used it to pay bills and to purchase online and the process is very convenient. I do direct deposit and I use the reload every now and then. If I don’t have the money in the bank, I can purchase using my RushCard. I can also receive money from family members through them as opposed to sending it through MoneyGram or the Western Union. I can load my card which is convenient. At certain stores, I can swipe the card and give them the money instead of filling out all the forms. It has been interesting and fun that they have sweepstakes going on right now. For every purchase that I use, I am automatically entered into a drawing ballot.
Rushcard has also helped me to be more financially responsible. Now, if I don’t have a cash on hand or I know that I don’t have the finances for certain purchases, then I don’t buy them. I won’t go into debt trying to get them and I can keep trying to pay off the debt that I owe so that I can be debt-free one day. Rushcard has kept me accountable in that regard.
My only frustration with their team was when they were transferring over from the regular cards to the chip card. Last year, I went out of town and had some difficulties with my card. When I called it in, they let me know that it was gone shipped. For a while, I wasn’t able to speak to a customer service representative. Everything was done automated and that was the system testing but I don't have issues when I call them now. I don’t like the service fees that they charge every time I swipe my card but, otherwise, I’m satisfied with my experience and I’ve recommended them to friends and family.

I called in because I went to use my card and it was declined, I looked online and it stated it was on hold so I called, (I do customer service every day) so I'm aware of how a person should be treated. The first young lady very nice but she couldn't tell me why corporate put a hold on my card. Ok so I said, "Well I would like to speak with them." She put me through to a Supervisor Mac ** is what he gave me for his ID, RUDE AS HELL, he told me the reason my card was on hold. I said OK so he said he will send me a new card but a 30.00 charge. I told him no, the prior agent told me that I could get a 2 day rush. Nothing about a charge. He said, "Well there is a charge." I told him, "No, there was not, review the tape." He said, "Well I will do the coaching on the agent." "No your agent made a mistake so let's move forward. Just mail my blessed card."
This man argued with me as if I was his friend having a disagreement with him. I finally had to tell him that I was the customer. He told me I was a nobody just like him, now I will say I don't get out of my character but this Mac was the worst. I have NEVER had a problem with the Customer service before him. I have never wanted anyone to lose "their" job but like I told him, "If I spoke with my customers like you spoke with me, I would be fired." Today I go to look to find the confirmation email, nothing. Look to see he charged me 4.95 to replace my card, this was not my problem. This was something RushCard did. I will be considering cancelling this card and look into another one.

I filed a dispute charge on my card, I was later called and told my card had been canceled. They were sending a new one, was not notified before they canceled it, so they reactivated my old one for two days, canceled it without notifying me... They mailed my card to the wrong address, which now I’m having to wait another 7 Days for, when asked who do I speak to to complain I was told, “There is no one. Call the BBB...” I’m very upset with this company and as soon as I can withdraw my funds will be going elsewhere.

This is bar far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. My hotel doubled charged me as pending transactions. I faxed over the information RushCard was requesting. Literally spoken to 4 reps and a manager when I was later told different information by all reps. When escalating to a Manager she was just as worst as the reps, in addition the prev rep has a bad attitude. Due to the lack of help I was stuck at the LAX for 12 hours. I'm very disappointed within the customer service and the leadership. I works for a bank and I never in a 100 years would treat customers like I was treated. And because of the delay I didn't get my $122 back! The worst company ever to do business!

I made a purchase on 11/11 and it was canceled immediately with the merchant! However, the funds are not available on my card nor am I able to get in contact with ANYONE from RushCard. There’s no option to speak to a live person and every time I try to send an email a “we’re sorry for the inconvenience” message appears. I’ve been in contact with the merchant and they NEVER withdrew the funds however RushCard still has the funds pending. I’m disappointed!

I like that Kimora and the pink card so I chose RushCard. Their team have been real friendly and I like that I get my money two days early. I reload my card at Walmart and Walgreens, which is it's easy to do, and I have been able to spend more responsibly since I got it. Also, I sometimes see that they add money back when I use the card.

I made a cash load via MoneyGram and I still didnt receive my funds and its been over 12 hours. I call and they tell me "we're having issues with cash loads". No email that they are having issues or anything because had I known I would not have loaded money to the card. They say they expedited the issue to corporate, what? Now they know corporate isnt open on the weekend. So now I possibly have to wait until Monday for a resolution to receiving MY MONEY (I verified with MoneyGram you did receive it). Thank God it wasnt a matter of life or death! I've been with Rushcard for 10 years and this is unacceptable. No consideration for loyal customers.

It will be 7 days tomorrow 11/16/2017, since my card was compromised. I've been with RushCard for 4 years, never had a promise til last week. I pulled my account up online cause I needed to print my statement and that's when I noticed, someone hacked my card info, because my baby phat card was still in my wallet. I called right away and dispute the $203 was pulled out of Wells Fargo in Oceanside 7 times. It said pending, so they barely took it out. How? Your guess is as good as mine. Long story short, they asked me to fax these dispute form, which I did, and still no update. I've called they said they don't have it, faxed again and when I'm trying to call; my calls are all of a sudden dropping once IVR says, "to get an update on your dispute press 1," which I did uhh, my call dropped. Yet, I get no answer. What is going on. I'm done. Where is my money?

I like RushCard because it’s cute and it’s really convenient. I’ve had one for 12 years. I can use it for everything like a regular bank debit card. I used RushCard when I got my home because I didn’t have a regular bank account at that time. I also use it to pay bills and shop online. I also have my employer check direct deposited into that. The process is really easy if you have some computer knowledge.
I used to have a lot of interaction with the team at RushCard. However, recently, I had to go through hell and high water to try to get somebody to talk to which is a real irritant. Before, I just push eight and it was a go but now, I can’t talk to anyone and it’s a big issue with me. Another issue is the automatic bill pay which I don’t trust RushCard. I had issues when I first got the card earlier in the year. I can’t detect when the bill is going to be paid. Also, when it came around time for me to resolve an issue with someone, their customer service continues to pass the buck. I have to wait so many days before they’ll address the issue again so I don’t use it in that aspect. I would not recommend RushCard to my friends but I will recommend it to a teenager who's just starting off.

Had RushCard for almost a year now and never called to complain about anything till money went missing on my account and when I call they say as soon as I finish the dispute form my money should be in my account in 60 days. Been waited for almost 3 months never heard from them and finally they send me a letter that I receive today and stated they can't refund my money to me and blah blahhh. Wow. Worst card company ever and I don't recommend this to anybody. Go bank somewhere else. I am very disappointed with this bank company. I'm closing my account.

I’ve been a RushCard holder for over six years and have a bit of my finances that goes to it to deal with my daily bills and it's easy. I use the direct deposit and I also use it for online purchases. Plus, I like that part of my payroll comes early, so that helps me take care of the things that I need to. But the only problem I had with it was a couple of months ago. In the past, I could go to the Post Office, get money orders and use my RushCard but all of a sudden, I couldn't. It was an embarrassing moment for me because I knew the money was there. I called them about it and they just told me I couldn’t use it at the Post Office anymore.

Always great customer service... Love that I'm able to view my exact balance after every swipe... I like that there's no overdraft. I've never had a problem with a deposit or theft. They have many loading options, I've never used the check picture feature.

Back in June of 2017 I was a victim of many in my area of someone stealing my credit card information from a local gas station and duplicating a card. I was able to pause my card after getting notifications that my card was being used but I was at home. Even though I submitted a dispute form with the police report case numbers, they still denied my dispute.
I filed a rebuttal 2 months ago and have yet to hear anything. Now when I call they say that they can not discuss my case with me because it is still being reviewed. What is so hard about contacting the police department so that they can tell them that this is a legitimate dispute. I have been a member since 2003. It happened once before a few years back but I was able to get my money back quickly. I should have left them then. I will definitely be taking RushCard to court if I do not get my money back soon!
Updated on 12/28/2017: My rebuttal was denied! None of the reps in the dispute department can tell me why. All I keep getting is that no error was found. Yes an error should have been found because my credit card information was stolen and unauthorized purchases were bought on my card. What is so hard about contacting the police department (provided case #s) and both Wal-Mart's the transactions were made to validate my claim? No one is reviewing our disputes properly! Called again today and after I told the rep I was recording the call he hung up. I still don't have any answers on why I cannot get my money back. Wrote a response on here over a month and RUSHCARD asked me to "privately" message them so that they can look into this.
Of course I did the same day they wrote that and have yet to get a response from them! Been a RushCard member since 2004 but apparently 13 years of being a loyal customer does not mean anything to this company. I am telling any and everyone DO NOT USE RUSHCARD because the second you have a dispute, you will have to go through legal actions to get your money back!!

I am somewhat happy with card. Great thing about card is employer check is received two days before payday. The pink card I have always get compliments of being pretty. The only downside of card is security. The big mishap with cards being frozen and no way to get money out was pretty frightening.

I love my RushCard. I just wish Rush would do something like a credit card with minimal limit to qualifying customers... meaning... loyalty with RushCard.... consistent direct deposit with account... or something like an overdraft protection. I have never had any issues with my card but a couple times. And that was when you were updating your system. Customer service isn't always the easiest to speak with. I do have issues with placing online orders. My card will be declined with most places online. Do not like that since I don't like to carry cash. On the days I cannot leave for lunch, makes it very difficult to order food since my card will not work.

I have been a member with RushCard for about 8 years now, and my experience has been nothing but pleasurable! I left BofA for RushCard and NEVER LOOKED BACK! I don't plan on banking anyone else anytime soon! My favorite feature is getting my direct deposit checks early. That makes life so much easier! Not a bad card to have. Acceptable wherever I go. I've only had one bad incident since being a member which now has been 9 years. That included a large refund not being released, the hold up was on RushCard side. It caused great hardship at the time. I now have a separate local banking account for business transactions. Overall not a bad card to have. One of the highlights is receiving your funds early!

Hey RushCard I would like to let you know that I've been very pleased with the uploading check with the camera. Since then I did not have to wait in long lines and also avoided being charged a lot of money to cash my checks. So far the RushCard has been pretty convenient for me but, I've been having a little trouble with finding a bank or atm that does not charge you money to take off the card. On October 1st a new card was mailed to me. I called Rushcard to change my address on 10/4 or 10/5. Rep told me I had to go online too do so. Did that 10/5. On 10/27 called back because I was unaware a card had been mailed to me on 10/1. All I Know the month was about to end and I hadn't received a new card because my old one was about to expire. With that being said on 10/27 Customer service said the card was sent back to rush card due to old address still in system. Mind you when I called on 10/4 10/5 Customer service never told me a card had been already sent. To go ahead and do the address change so I could receive my new card on time... So I did that. Still all month long no card.
So finally on 10/27 Customer service advised me the card had been returned to rush. So I asked to get the card mailed to updated address. Ok that was that. My payroll check deposited on 10/28. Went to check my balance on the deposit date and nothing was there. I was never told by Customer service my old card wouldn't be active on my deposit date. Moral of the story I had to pay UPS a $35 fee plus whatever you all charged me for shipping. I went through lots of pain and suffering because I had bills that were due and I always pay my bills. This really put me in a bad situation far as my kids and I are concerned. I had to go out and borrow money to pay my light, water, and cable bill... Something I never have to do when I've worked so hard and had $907 available to me that I couldn't touch... until my new card arrived.
I was and am not pleased about this situation. Because you all had the new address so why wasn't the card mailed back once it was delivered back to you all.... Also my phone number is updated in the system.... No one reached out. No one called... When that card was mailed back. How could you not and my payroll check was still active for direct deposit. I had to get food from my mom to feed my kids that weekend because I am a single mother raising 3 kids. And I can only afford to grocery shop every other week. I spend to make it last every other week... I've been a customer since 2011. This really put a lot of pain and hurt in my ???? because I work so hard... And for this to happen I am just not pleased at this time. YOU ALL DROPPED THE BALL.

If the address is not updated in time, in will unfortunately be sent back. I feel that there shouldn't be a fee charged every time we use our card as a debit or credit when we swipe it at the store or use it online. You already take a fee from us using the ATM machine and that's understandable because you have to make your money but otherwise I am satisfied with the service.

The only problem I have is that you can never call from your phone to hear from customer service, it's very irritating. Overall I will give the company average grade of C. Once resolved then I can give a better grade to the company. Beside that all is good.

I have had my RushCard for over 6 years maybe more and I love it. I use for everything from paying bills to renting hotels and my paycheck gets direct deposited so I don't have worry about loading it all the time. It has come in so handy and don't know what I would do without it!

I’ve had a RushCard for over 5 years and have been satisfied with everything. My direct deposit get to me two days early, load a check, transfer between my cards, being able to withdraw money from atm for free is one of the best things about having RushCard. Overall RushCard is the best prepaid card out there and I’ll continue to be a customer for years to come.

RushCard has been a reliable & convenient source of financial stability. Every time I've had them as direct deposit, they have never let me down when it comes to being paid on time. My RushCard is easy to load. It is easier to use. I love this card. It’s safer than carrying cash and equally convenient. I will take this card wherever I go. I will never leave home without it. I will forever be a loyal customer. Please keep up the great work.

I had a deposit of $55 posted to my account this morning. After viewing my last transactions I found out that the money was posted then taken out afterwards. I will be filing a report against RUSHCARD.

I been having this since 2009 but they ** has made me wait literally 11 days for my own hard money like don't accidentally get charge 2 for nothing or make a dispute on nothing. They dont give you your money back that you work hard for. I been waiting on my 280 for about 11 days now and still ain't got it. Like I really hate this damn card. It's only Arabians who are in the damn call center acting slow as **. This ** is one wack ** card and charge 6 dollars a month like yea that's not ** but you might as well get a bank account because at least with that you have a bank and they charge atm fee and out of network fee. 2 fees just for the atm like wtf. This man worth 840 million and won't let people who get direct deposit have just no monthly fee. ** that. I'm getting a regular bank cause this is a ** ripoff and they are facts. I hate them so much like ugh.

I filed a transaction dispute after being charged twice for an ATM withdraw. The dispute was denied after 3 days. I immediately filed a rebuttal and had the dispute reopened and was told it would take up to 45 days for the rebuttal decision. On four different occasions I asked for the documentation for the original dispute denial and was told it would be emailed to me within 3 business days but it never was. Today was day 45 since the rebuttal was submitted and when I called RushCard was told no update was available and that there was no timeline for a rebuttal to be decided. I asked for corporate contact information and was told that was not available. Very disappointed in customer service. I will no longer be a RushCard customer if this is how they do business.

I definitely love RushCard and the designs of the cards. I have been a member since 2005 and so far I will stay a member. It had really been a great company for my money. My only issue today is that they don't take so long with my dispute charge that I have placed against a company over a month ago. I haven't heard anything back so I would like for this to get looked into. Also why aren't there any Call centers to take calls in America. Every time I call and I press 1 for English I'm getting someone I can barely understand who speaks English as their second language?? Please please do better with that because I hate to call because I have to ask them to repeat themselves every time. Other than that RushCard is amazing.
