    I will never use RushCard again for my taxes. I faxed in the paperwork to them. 'Cause I knew my taxes was over the limit they require. My taxes was scheduled to post yesterday. I called to find out why and I the customer service rep couldn’t understand English. As well as couldn’t speak English. Only for them to say they sent it back to the IRS. Then to say they can’t keep it no more than 3-5 business days. I said, "Well it hasn’t been that long." They then gave me a email to address the issue. Only for me to send the email and then to respond and say call RushCard to handle this. Never will use them.

    I have been a very faithful customer of Rush since 2015. Since I been involved it's been nothing but headaches. The first few times it was resolved and I thought to myself ok they're not that bad but as soon as income taxes were deposit I had so much funds taking out of my account of course after my online orders. And I say that because they try to confuse you as if you don't keep count and when they were confronted by myself I spoke to several supervisors and they still continue to think that I was just miscounting, I have pictures of my account how I keep track through text but unfortunately I cannot submit them here. To keep the very long story short still haven't been resolved and I don't recommend rush for anyone especially tax season. They do not well conduct your funds correctly.

    I have had RushCard for quite some time now. I have my direct deposit to the card for the past year. This year I got my tax refund deposited. Of course because it's over a certain amount they request certain documents. Now I understand why you want to verify but RushCard is asking for information that to me should be against protocol. My 1040 form, my ID, my social card. They don't even request personal information to open up the card but because the IRS sent me my return you have the right to ask for these documents. I've provided everything and it's always something else. Now send this. No send this. We want this. I don't think the IRS is just sending fraud returns especially if all the information on my return matches the records they have on file for my account such as address, social, telephone number, email. It has been a back and forward game since I received an email saying my return is pending. This is not customer service.

    I love Russell and Kimora Lee-Simmons, thus I went for RushCard. I've been spending slower since I got it and I like the fact that paychecks are sent two days ahead of time, and they are sent on time. Plus, the card is accepted everywhere. I’ve never had any problems ordering online. It’s quick and easy, so I use my RushCard for everything. And the biggest benefit for me would be the safety and the security of having it.

    I filed my 2018 tax return through TurboTax. The IRS sent it to my RushCard on February 13, 2019. It is February 24 and I still haven't received my income tax return. I can't get through to the IRS due to high call volume and RushCard seems to have no record of my deposit, I have called RushCard dozens of times and no one has given me a direct answer. My next option is to hire a lawyer and sue RushCard because this is some bs.

    I had gotten RushCard sent to me a couple of years ago, but didn’t use it. Then I reapplied a couple of months ago. I had some issues with a couple of other debit card providers. I researched online, saw RushCard and thought I'd give it a try. I wanted to see how transferring from my card to my fiancée’s card works and called them last month. They answered my questions and told me it would only take a couple of minutes, but it took a lot longer. I ended up canceling it because, after four hours, the money hadn’t gone through. They said that shouldn’t have taken that long. I use the direct deposit. I only get paid once a month on the third and that goes on to the card. My money is on the card a couple of days earlier, which makes things a lot easier and I can pay the rent, which is due on the first.

    I just feel that the RushCard is not and has not been helpful in any way. The customer service representative does not help you solve your problems and I'm just unsatisfied with the service. Every time that I tried to get information from my account no help and I just feel like it should be more helpful.

    I've been with RushCard since 2013, and every time I have to get a new card I pay the expedited fee and it never comes. I ordered it 4 days ago and 75$ later I have been lied to by 4 representatives and a supervisor. They refuse to give me corporate number. Thanks to the incompetence I am sitting in a cold house because I couldn't pay my bill but my money is sitting on that expedited card that never happened. I'm done. Netspend here I come.

    False advertisement. I have recommended two people and only gotten one bonus. I have called as well as the person I recommend multiple times. I recommend one person December 2018 and got the bonus February 2nd 2019. The second person was recommended February 3rd 2019 and no bonus. We both made attempts and he got his but not me. If I can't take them at the word on their own promotion then I can't trust them with my money.

    Updated on 03/13/2019: So after my last review and private messaging to the responder of the company things have gotten even more frustrating and difficult at first. I couldn't access my account because I didn't remember the phone number that I used when I opened the account over 3 years ago because my phone number had been changed, I faxed in the required documents (drivers license & letter requesting change of phone number) for the company to update my new number, I was told after 2 or 3 days that the documents I faxed was too dark to read so nothing would be updated. I would call customer service and nobody would help me because I couldn't provide the old number even after I sent in the documents they asked for because they were "too dark".

    NOW out of the blue (after my review to Consumer Affairs) they decided to find it in their hearts to update the number on file WITHOUT even having the decency to let me know. They went ahead and updated it for me (last I knew it wouldn't be updated because again "the documents were too dark".) Ok so now I have all 5 verifications required (name, address, full social security number, d.o.b, and PHONE NUMBER). BUT wait I still can't access my account because now I need my old Pin number. Since when does any card company make you request a new card just to update or change your 4 digit pin???

    This company is truly like nothing I ever dealt with before and wish to God I never had, it was my Dad's idea in the first place that I gave RushCard a chance however he wasn't educated on how stressful and unprofessional they really were until he along with the people he heard of it through have been experiencing issues with them as well. I mean since when, if you have your card number and all other required info are you NOT able to change your pin? People change their pins often However I have to request for a new card just to change my PIN FOR CHRIST SAKE!

    SO I called the automated system on the card (8662326778) to request new card AND what do I hear? ("I'M SORRY WE ARE UNABLE TO REQUEST A replacement card at this time...") Really? At this point I just want to cancel my account and neverrrr ever have anything to do with RushCard so when or if you read this believe me I would never wish this horrible experience on anybody. Please don't believe the hype. RushCard is a sad joke and is in need of major changes possibly discontinuous of the company. As I said before first alibi wanted to do was update my phone number and change my pin. Now I just want to cancel my account and be done with this joke of a company (but let me guess I need documents to cancel the card as well). I will keep you guys updated because since my first review nothing has been resolved.

I am currently a RushCard member however I highly regret it, not sure if this email will even make a difference but I have never spoken to a polite person in customer service. I have been given nothing but grief, and by the reviews from other customers it's standard procedure for the representatives to be of least assistance as possible. Life is tough as it is. These people don't listen and you can't understand them most of the time and when you can they are extremely rude. I can't believe that Russell Simmons has anything to do with this disaster! I'm heartbroken. Save yourself the hassle. Smh.

    I got a RushCard and I like that when I use the card at a vendor, I don't get charged twice like for some of the other cards or at the ATM. Also, once I load my card, I call my creditors and I can easily pay my bills. It is also easy to find reload locations. I work in a retail store, and we have an ATM. Often, customers don’t wanna use the ATM because it says that their card would charge them also along with the ATM fee. RushCard doesn’t do that and that’s a plus. Their reps were excellent, too.

    I’ve been with them since 2011. Customer services sucks and everyone tells you something different every time you call. They outsourced their customer service to the Philippines so you cannot get anyone in the U.S. They do not know how to handle situations and will leave you hold forever with no music or anything. Just silence. I would highly suggest using another prepaid card this one. Just isn’t worth it and I will no longer be using.

    The reps are not given any authority to implement solutions. They are basically robots who read from a script based on what they've been told is the process. It makes interaction stressful and time-consuming. They're not given the authority to think outside of the box and implement solutions. I have never experienced such stress in which the company hijacks my money anytime a hold applies even if it's been confirmed that the order was cancelled or the total amended in which the funds tied to the hold are no longer needed by the merchant and can be released back to the account for use. The company treats you like a worthless degenerate in which your word is worthless, as if you lack integrity and can't be trusted. Any other bank in such a situation will issue a courtesy credit pending an investigation and unless there's reason to question what the customer has stated as fact, they accept it.

    RushCard also places the burden on the customer to resolve the issue. The processes they have in place do not permit the RushCard representative to assist you by contacting the merchant via email or live chat or a call back number. If the customer service representatives do not have options at their disposal to do things the RushCard antiquated way of a fax and a call back number, then you must allow them to hijack your money for up to 11 days in which the preauthorization hold is released back to the customer's account on the eleventh day after a 10 day hold period. I was also informed that RushCard no longer will process refunds to the account. In other words, if you purchased an item and something went wrong or you no longer want it, the standard process is to request a refund as per the merchant's refund policy and period.

    RushCard seems to be deliberately engaging a process that takes hold of your money for 10 days at a time where other banks make the money available right away with 2-3 days maximum as a long time. It looks blatantly suspicious and is proof that they don't respect their customers or treat them with any level of dignity. I literally have a splitting headache and have experienced emotional trauma and distress from associating with such a company. It feels demeaning. I will be looking to speak with a financial expert regarding my options for an account with funds that I previously had been applying to RushCard.

    I have been a long-term customer in which I am thanked for my business every time I call, asked for personal information that feels like an invasion of privacy within the context of a phone call that may not be private or secure, and I have not been treated with respect. They don't deserve my money and I deserve better from any company with which I do long-term business. I encourage you to learn of a better option for your finances that gives meaning to thank you for your business and supports it with the way they treat their customers in treating their time as valuable and precious when suggesting a solution.

    I had my purse stolen. I have been trying to get card canceled and a new one sent out due to tax return going on missing card. I have called 6 times to get nothing but attitude from these people. They will not do anything because I don't know what phone number I used 9 years ago when I opened account. Will not recommend to a single person.     I order something using my RushCard and they refund the money back. But to my surprise I look at my account RushCard took it out the moment the seller put it back. I argue with the seller about the money to find out Rush does not accept refunds from sellers. They never sent an email. They never sent a text. They claim they sent it back to the seller but the seller told me that is not true and they got proof of that and is willing to take it to court and Rush don't know where my money at with no help. My money just disappeared without a trace and I can't get no help about it.

    My mother uses RushCard and has had a great experience with the two days early deposits from the employer so I decided to become a member as well. Setting up the direct deposit was easy. I use my card for absolutely everything. It's convenient. However, every time I call and try to speak to an operator about my account, I never get through with them. It always leads me to the automated system. But then, I had a great experience with RushCard.

    My last check was deposited to my RushCard right when I had to be at work. So I had my husband go pull our rent money, only for him to come back saying the ATM said there was insufficient funds. Sure enough I check my app and the balance was 0.00. So I call the company, only to be sent to a fax machine the first time, then hung up on and disconnected 3 times! When I finally got ahold of the fraud department the lady told me she was going to send me an email with a form to fill out and fax back...never got said email. After waiting 6 days I called back to check the status and the rep I was on the phone with said they're still waiting on that paperwork! I told them I never received it and he sent the email 4 times and only received 1, Thank God!

    Someone stole over $800 from me and I'm being treated like criminal here! I've had to borrow money from my boss and my mother. If it weren't for the fact that I could eat at work and bring something home MY FAMILY WOULD NOT BE EATING! I have no money for gas and I now have two consecutive paydays coming up where I have to pay rent and a double payment on my car! Do you see what you have caused here?! This is a problem and unacceptable! I'm looking around for a lawyer to see what options I have. I've been a loyal customer for a year and a half, this is ridiculous. Thanks RushCard! Not.

    I knew about RushCard from one of my co-workers and I’ve had it since 2013. I like it. I get paid early and I don’t have to wait too long for a paycheck. There’s always access to it, and I can pause and unlock my card when I wanted to. I don’t have to worry about unnecessary purchases coming out for that month. Also, after so many purchases, money would sometimes go back to my card. I don’t necessarily keep up with the purchases, but I would notice when I check my balance that it’ll be an extra $5 than what it was. I’ve used RushCard online several times and one time, Walmart cancelled my order right after I had made it, but I got the money back in 10 days.

    I've been with RushCard since 2008. I don't know why I've stayed this long. It's always something going on with RushCard, or they make changes without Customers knowledge. I ordered some merchandise online. Now! RushCard has changed their policy, they no longer accept refunds or will credit your account back with refund. That means you're totally screwed out your money. The merchant is saying, "That's not our issue. Please take It up with your bank." You called RushCard, which you speaking to someone who don't speak English, keep repeating the same thing LIKE robots. I will get MY money back. I'm contacting a lawyer. This is robbery. Nor did they post or advertise this change. This is highway robbery. When I get my money back I Will be leaving, and cancelling this card.

    What's the point of having a big company when there's no one there to ** help you. I signed up for a new card after 6 years of not having a RushCard and it automatically reboots back to all my old information after I put all my updated information in. I've tried calling for the past two day and haven't been able to get a LIVE AGENT, I finally gets one and she tells me the system doesn't allow them to update information, I'll have to send in a letter to update my information. What's the point of RUSHCARD having a ** CUSTOMER CARE HOTLINE and THEY DON'T DO NOTHING BUT HELP YOU APPLY FOR A CARD, SOMETHING YOU CAN DO ONLINE, NO ** HELP.

    I have had RushCard since 2009. I used to love it because I received my pay early. Now I wouldn't recommend this card to my worst enemy. I had a deposit of $100 and attempted to make a purchase for $97.05. It was declined 4 times, yet I was charged a transaction fee of $1 four times. When I called the representative was rude and not helpful. I also used to like that you could transfer to others with a RushCard so I attempted to get one for my teenage daughter. I did 3 applications and I faxed, mailed and uploaded the required parental consent form more times than I can count, yet all 3 applications were declined and no one can tell me why. RushCard needs to step their game all the way up. They need to get it together or leave it alone because the quality of service is deplorable and unacceptable.

    I called RushCard customer service on 2/11/2019 regarding an unauthorized charge done on 1/112019. I did ask to dispute the charge and was transferred to the dispute department. The lady in dispute stated they would need to cancel this card and block it from further use so ok I can understand, however because they will need to send me a new card I advise the lady to WAIT. I have money I need to get off first so I can ensure I have my funds available to me so I need to callback before proceeding this process. The lady reads me the terms of service for dispute as IF I don't understand but clearly she did not understand what I am telling her about the money on the card is the only funds I have available. I stated to the agent several times, "DO NOT cancel my card. Allow me to get the money off first and call back." Agent then starts to agree, "Ok. Just call us back."

    I hang up and maybe 10-20 minutes later I get a text and email that a card is on the way before I could even get out the house. I checked my online account and my card was now inactive. SERIOUSLY!! Like she did not understand the words that came out of my mouth. I called them back immediately and spoke with a rep about what happened which she stated the agent tried to call me to see if I got the money out of the account which was a complete LIE as no one tried to call me. And even then who cancels your card without authorization?

    I then asked for a supervisor and the sup Angela gets on the line trying to advise me of the dispute process which I advised I understand the process but it seems they do not understand ENGLISH because I advised I needed to get my funds off the card as needing gas for work the next morning and to get my son to school.

    She then gives me option to expedite the new card since they couldn't reverse what was already done because the new card takes 7-10 business days to receive it and expediting takes 1-2 business days and I get direct deposit so in 3 days my paycheck will hit my card but there is a $30 fee to expedite. Asked, "WHY would I be charged that as advising the agent in dispute not to cancel it before getting my funds off?" She then apologizes and advised she would send an escalation to have the call pulled and if they find that agent proceeded after advising her not to then they would refund the fees. It would take 48 business hours as I threaten to report to BBB and file suit regarding this. I said ok.

    It has now been 3 days since I called and called today around 5:15 pm to check status and spoke with supervisor Let's who advised me no resolution yet found for escalation and because they have to place a block when disputing unauthorized charges that whether you want to proceed or NOT at the time the card will be made inactive anyway so whether you are able to get your money off or not you will not have anymore access to the card is basically what she is telling me so need to wait on a resolution because the expedited fee and replacement card fee will possibly not be waived.

    I will NEVER recommend RushCard and will stop my direct deposits as well as filing a case with the attorney general office and see about filing suit which I tried to avoid but after giving me false expectations on resolution and still charging me expedited charges as this could have been avoided if I was allowed the opportunity to remove my funds before canceling this could have went a different way. I wouldn't recommend RushCard to anyone as I have been a long time customer and NEVER had issues but they show you just how they do not care as soon as something like this happens.

    I have referred a lot of people but we don't always get the reward. The person accepts the invite from the email and once approved they set up direct deposit with RushCard. When I look at my refer list it still say invited and they tell us that my refer code is not listed. This is not fair. They can clearly see the person on my list but never issue the reward. I will never refer another person. The people are rude and will hang up in your face. The people I refer even offer to send a snapshot of my name on the application. They still hang up. I really hope that someone looks into this. Also they don't support the customers, someone can charge your card and they will treat you very unfair. And charge you money to issue you a new card. I use to like RushCard but I feel the owners of this company need to review the actions that their employees are taking against the customers. RushCard should protect us not hurt us.

    I've had Rushcard for about 10 years and I haven't had any issues with them. I like the alerts for every purchase that I make. The alert comes, and they show what my balance is, and where I am. With Rushcard, paying bills online is very convenient. The history of my card will show that I pay my standardized bills every month. I do direct deposit as well. I also use one of their reload locations and it's not difficult at all. Before, submitting a claim was a really lengthy process. I gotta talk to four people, and I gotta reiterate and say the same thing over and over again. But recently, I would consider the slogan, cut the middleman out, and they don't ask rhetorical questions like they did before. Overall, the service is fine for me. Utilize it.

    It's absolutely SAD that you can't reach anyone in customer service. Then when you finally do. It's some foreign person in other country who doesn't speak well nor understands what you're saying because they are reading from a script. My money isn't located in India nor any other foreign country so why I do I have to deal with this every time I need to speak with someone. Then not only the language barrier, they are also rude. Will hang up or just keep reading from a script like a damn robot.

    Rushcard is more convenient. I can use it whenever I feel like it and I can draw money off. I can add money and I can pay my bill with it. Also, I like using it when I have to go to the store.     I have been trying to change my address since 11/2018. I have faxed over my Driver’s License and Social security card, 5 times and they are telling me the picture is too dark. I have also faxed over a water bill with my new address on it to verify my address and it still isn't enough. When you call in they ask you all these verifiable identity questions, so why am I jumping through hoops to get my address change. I can't believe I have to go through all this to get my address change. Now I have been waiting to speak to a supervisor as I type this complaint and they still have me on hold. Their customer service SUCKS. Bring our jobs back to AMERICA.

    Mrs. ** the supervisor came on the line tell me they accepted my document that shows my new address, but not my driver's license because the picture is too dark. I have faxed over the same driver's license to my escrow company. Why are they able to see it with no problem. I am soo ** done with RUSH.     The people at Rushcard are tough to get a hold of. If I have a problem, I like to reach somebody. You call and tell them what you wanna know, but nobody will say how you can reach an agent if you need them. I had a dispute in my account and I had to follow through on that in order to get somebody to talk to me. Nonetheless, I've had a great experience with Rushcard. It's a pretty free-using card. I can buy whatever I want and I can get money for whatever I need.

    I have had this card since 2004 and originally I loved it. However, it has become the biggest hassle to use and when they say terms are subject to change without notice THEY MEAN IT! They do not accept refunds to the card as of January 22, 2019. So if you happen to need a refund from a company that insists on putting the money from a debit transaction back on your card, that money will sit there as pending for TEN (10) DAYS and then go back to the merchant. This policy is prejudicial to anyone who has a card. Find another method of banking because this one will keep you in a state of frustration! This is coming from a customer of FIFTEEN YEARS!

    Do not get this card. They lock you out of your acct & have no reason. They steal your money when you do card to card transfers & won't return it. They charge you for "monthly fees" even though it's supposed to be free if a certain amount is deposited. They never know what's going on or how to solve an issue & the customer service is trash & they never speak English. Do not get this card, Russell Simmons made a crap card. If you are getting your refund with this card, your money is probably gone.

    I deposited $10.00 on my RushCard. When I went to make a purchase with such deposit, my transaction was canceled 3 times in Krogers express checkout. Which resulted in me delaying up the checkout line, being embarrassed for a declined card, and me not being able to purchase any of my items. This was a huge wrongdoing. Then only to call into your so called customer orientated customer service to be told that I just had to deal with it because it was the service fee for my transaction purchase.

    RushCard is a joke! As of January 22, 2019 they started a new policy that they no longer refund money back to your card. So now I am out of the product and my money! My money was re-refund back to the store. So now I have to take a day off of work to go to the store to get my money back. I can't take a half of a day. I have to lose the day to go way across town to see if the store would give me my money back! That isn't cool. RushCard didn't send out a memo stating this new policy. They sure send out text messages every hour about something to get them richer. Why couldn't they alert us the customers who pay them every month to hold our money about the new policy? After 7 years of paying these people this is it! I'm done!!! Ripping up all 4 of my cards! Find another prepaid card company please!!!

    I would like to file a complaint on your company! On January 18th I was forced to have my card canceled due to 4 unauthorized transactions on my account. The person I spoke with said we would have to cancel the card right away and never gave me the option to just pause the card. So on the 18th I had to take out all my money so the card could be canceled. It is now January 28th and I'm still without money, so I decided to call to see when I should receive my card and was told I would not be able to get the card until February 4th.

    I pay rent on the 1st and needed the money to have repairs done to my car. So I had to have another card expedited to my address and had to pay all fees like this was my fault and the very first call the replacement fee was waived. I've been a customer since 2017 and loved you guys until now. Now my family is wondering why I work so much but don't have any money to show since I have direct deposit with my jobs linked to this account. Thanks RushCard for your excellent service.

    When receiving the card it said funds are released immediately when pending holds are put on account. I have had hotel fax required letter and still funds aren't released. Customer service is unable to let me know when funds will be released. This will be the last time I use this card. I do not have this issue with any of my other cards. Very misleading!!!

    I had a Rushcard years ago. I still have one now, but I just got it within the last year. I want to get my check early that's why. The only issue I have is I can't use some accounts as a checking account. I tried to check off my card. I did it twice, but it wouldn't let me, so I don’t know what I was doing wrong.     There was fraud on my account so I canceled my card on January 4 2019, and they said it was shipped out January 6. They told me it takes 7-10 business days and here it is the the 26th and I still haven't received the card. I have $2000 that I cannot access.     I had been a RushCard member since 2011, and recently closed my card due to being unable to get my cash out. When I first started RushCard I loved it, because it’s nice to get your check two days early. Who wouldn’t love that!? Within the last few years it’s become more absolutely more difficult to get my money out when I need it. It became so bad recently that without our knowledge RushCard changed how we can get cash out from over the counter. Now they placed a system where you can only get cash out by using your pin. Not only did they do this with out our consent or knowledge of it, but they don’t even have a list of banks you can actually go to that will allow you to get money out. I called literally 6 times to ask for a location where I could get my money out at. It was a complete waste of time and a waste of frustration.

    I’m so disappointed in where RushCard is going. I had to close out my account without even being able to get any money out while waiting for my check to arrive 7 days later!! I'm still waiting by the way. So I’m glad that we made the decision to leave when we did. It’s a shame my family and I are starving waiting for my money to get here after I already waited to get paid! Very upset and disappointed with this company!

    My money was stolen off my card due to someone had cloned my card with a credit card scanner. I did everything these people asked me to do to get my money back and these people denied paying me my money back 3 different times. After providing all my evidence that I was at home when the money was taken off my card from a totally different side of town 4 to 5 mins after I had got home.

    I had been a long term customer of these people and never had a problem until now. I will tell everyone don't use their card because when your money gets stolen they will not give you your money back even if you turn in the police report and prove text messages showing you texted someone you were home. I have been fighting with company for a month to prove my money was stolen. These people want me to stop fighting for my money back but I will not stop until I get every dollar back. Hell I'm starting to think someone from their company stole my money. That's why they won't give me my money back.

    When trying to update my home address since I moved, I was told Corporate blocked my card when I called the 800's#, I couldn't get a straight answer why. Also, since Corp blocked my card due to possible fraud which, is great, I'm trying to update my card address, so a new card can be issued to my New address. But, I'm getting the run around from customer service. It's not a large amount of money on the card but, it's MY MONEY!! When calling the 800 number, after I verified all my information I'm still told, I will have to send all kinds of documentation to prove who I am. They said, "Corporate sent me a text message in October which is false."

    I asked, “Why would you send a text message and not a letter or call me?” "All I heard were crickets!" This is unacceptable!! I asked for a direct number for corporate and was told there is no corporate number. I am pissed. I want my money sent to me in a check to my new address to close this RushCard account out, and no one is working with me. Do not open an account with RushCard. I will get my money!!! Even if I have to sue!!!

    I love everything about RushCard. It is so easy for me to maintain my money and help me get an understanding of what I'm spending. I get to keep track of how much is in my account. I also get paid two days sooner. RushCard has ATMs that I can pull my money off for free. There is an ATM four minutes away from my house and one close to my job. Then, when I ordered a RushCard a couple of years ago and I started a job and could not get a hold of my PIN, I had to contact their customer service.     I ordered the RushCard in hope that I could order stuff off line with ease. That was not the case. I was blocked on 4 different sites because of the RushCard. Then one of those sites, took a payment that I didn't make but denied my payment for the certain item I was trying to order on all the other sites. It makes no sense at all.     I called RushCard customer service today, because I couldn't access my account information. The CSR asked for all my personal information just to turn around and tell me that she couldn't help me unless I now fax the information in. REALLY!!! Why ask for my information if you can't help me with anything? On top of that, I asked her to cancel the replacement card I ordered, five minutes before I talked to the CSR, and she said "that's impossible to do". Again REALLY?     I am a customer and I figure to use RushCard and have direct deposit into the account, I figured what can go wrong, right. I was totally WRONG. This is not a company you want to set up your direct deposit or start adding money to. I have not and still have not received my prepaid card, which I applied for on Dec. 27, 2018. I am still waiting for card, which they keep saying they resend. I was told to check with my local post office, because usually they forget, I have checked with neighbors, post office, and NO CHARGE (which I'll remind you I signed up for DIRECT DEPOSIT). So no access to get my earned money. They told me I can request a new card, which will take addition 3-7 business days, I have asked to speak to someone that can help me to get access to my money, NOTHING.

    I HAVE asked them to return my money all of it to my employer, which it takes 24-48 hrs (I was told to send to corporate, then 3-5 days to refund my employer). Still waiting for corporate to do their job which has been 24-48 hours. Now they are telling me to wait another 7-10 days for everything to process. The thing is I have been waiting for over 3 weeks, still no new card from the first time or second time. Nobody telling me how to get access to my earned money, they keep saying to wait and wait, now I have to wait a total of possibly 4 weeks now to 'hopefully get refunded my paychecks".

    Unprofessional and very rude and you hear the "Supervisors named Nick, Paul, and Steve" laughing at me because I have no card to access my money and they cant re issue another card because the first card was never activated". Duh, I'm getting the runaround and I'm running low on money I have now and soon will have no money, due to waiting for these unprofessional people to refund me or to get access. #nomoney, nofood#. Do not get this card.

    I thought RushCard was a good card to get. I like the way it's made. I started to save money with it and it helped me a lot better than before. I like my text that tells me when something is made on it and it tells me my balance. Also, I like to go online and check my balances and transactions. When it's time for me to get paid, I get direct deposit. I need to go to Dollar General or Dylan to do reloads but it's pretty easy. I also get paid early and I like that. RushCard answered my questions. I've been getting RushCards since ’02 and I just now learned how to lock it where I don’t have to worry about other consumers taking my money or stuff that I didn’t do.     Now two weeks later, I sent money, transfer from PayPal to Rush card because my debit Paypal card stopped working and was waiting on a new one. So, I've had a Rush card since 2017 and never got around to using it and decided to transfer a small amount of $50 to Rush but found that it had indeed made it quickly but ended up on a Rush card I never knew existed. I knew I'd moved and didn't recall ordering another card but thought, whatever, I can transfer it back or to a different card. No big deal.

    Until it asked me for CVC # on the back of the card which I never had. I called customers service to find that my name, address, full social security nine digits, D.O.B., and current cell # weren't enough security info to confirm my identity. Since I never ordered this card and don't have a clue out of the previous five old cell numbers I recited to them; not one of those numbers matched this ghost card and they wouldn't accept all this information. I got upset and they've locked me out of my webpage account, too. So I cannot access the info they need and now I'm to send a picture of my I.D. that they never had in the first place and a letter asking for the # to this card so they can send my money back to me or PayPal. This sounds like a crock and this is as far as I've got so far. Please help.

    I tried to transfer money. I entered in the correct information off my card. The system told me that it was incorrect and suspended my account. Upon calling customer service I was told that it was my fault. When I asked how it was my fault. They informed me I entered in the wrong information. I explained that the same numbers on the back of my card was the same numbers I entered in. Needless to say they did not unlock my account so I couldn't pay my bill and my lights was cut off for non payment. Everything in my icebox and freezer spoiled.

    I can't get my account unlocked and I was hung up on 3 times by customer service... Bottom line is RushCard is a scam... They don't care about their customers... They are rude... And they lost a customer that has been with them for over 2 years. I will post this everywhere...so everyone can know that RushCard is not about their customers like they claim to be.

    I have been having a $50 pending hotel incidental charge for a week. I spoke to the hotel who said they released the charge weeks ago. I spoke to RushCard who explained it will take 30-35 days to release my funds. I have been a loyal customer since 2004. RushCard said I will have to have the hotel write a letter of release and fax it to them of release or they will hold my funds for an entire month. I am extremely upset with RushCard and plan on canceling this card after they release my credit.

    I have been trying to replace my lost card that has a balance on it. After calling CS line and following the prompts to request a replacement I'm told "I can't submit the card replacement request at this time". This has been months now. I sent an email to cs@rushcard.com and was sent a case # and have not heard a response in 10 days so I will never trust holding a balance on this card again if it's this difficult to get answer from customer service.

    I have been a RushCard member since 2015. I recently ran low on funds and was in between paychecks so I returned an item I had bought the day before. The merchant told me my funds would be available immediately back on my card and I received an email notifying me that the funds had been deposited to my account. I tried to use my card to get gas and my card was declined!!! I checked my account and it said my balance was still $0!! I checked my deposits again and it showed the deposit going on my card but my balance never reflected the money.

    I called customer service and after a very lengthy hold I was told they could hold my funds for up to 10 days before they gave them to me, even though they have been cleared and notified I had received the funds!! It is now going on 3 days since the return and they have yet to allow me to access my money and with no explanation as to why!?! The whole reason I returned the item was because I needed the money immediately and am still broke, without the item and still trying like to find a way to get to work the rest of this week!! Needless to say after I receive my funds I will be canceling my card and finding a new card for my paycheck to deposit to!!

    I've dealt with RushCard for a few years. I've never had a problem with them up until this week. I deposited $300 on my card & it was put on there hours later (usually it takes 10 mins). Deposited $70 on my card again this morning & it has been 4 hours & my money still isn't put on the card. Call customer service & they want the phone number that's associated with your account. Nobody remembers a number from years ago if they've been with RushCard a long time. TERRIBLE!

    Every time I call their number I stay on hold for more than 20 mins waiting to speak with an agent. The same thing happens when I try the chat live also. Would be nice to speak with someone less than 30 mins. Other than that, I'm happy with my card.

    I got this card so that I could get my social security check direct deposited. Social security paid out on the 28th of December. Here is January 9th and the money is STILL not in my account. I verified with SS that the funds were released and even verified direct dep info. I have called RUSHCARD at least 10 times only to talk to someone that I cannot even understand, because they speak broken English. Did the live chat twice, got nowhere. Was told it would go into my account when it's received from MetaBank.

    In the meantime, since I live on SS, my bills are past due and my cable and cell phone have been turned off. I feel like I get no explanation of where my money is! This is ridiculous! IF I ever get my money, I WILL be canceling this account. I asked how long does it take MetaBank to put the money on the RushCard and was told, "Oh it's done immediately." REALLY??? Well it's been 10 days people!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND DON'T RECOMMEND THIS JOKE OF A BANK/BUSINESS TO ANYONE!!!

    I saw a purchase I did not recognize so I contacted Rushcard. I just wanted them to identify the purchase. They in turn shut down my account. Told me a new card would be sent in 10 days unless I wanted to pay 40 dollars for an express mailing. I now can't access any money for up to 10 days. They have shut down my life. My Direct deposits go into this account. How do they expect me to live for the next 10 days. As soon as I can I am going change my form of banking.

    Yes my name is Lakeitha and someone hacked into my account and took over 5000. Due to this my kids did not have a Christmas. I have been a customer since 2004 and this is beyond sad. I filed my claim on 12/8/18 so on 12/21/18 a decision was made. How was it made that quick. So I sent in a rebuttal letter a police report and my paperwork from when I was off work and a letter from the person who took my money. Merchants have been writing in stating that I was not the one who made these charges. I need my money ASAP. Now do I need to get a lawyer or my local news team involved.

    I have been a customer since 2008. I had my paychecks and other income deposited to my account. But on December 28, 2018 I checked into a hotel but cancel because the room was disgusting. I wasn’t there even 5 minutes. The young lady cancel and said my money would be refunded back to my card. Well I still haven’t gotten my money yet! They told me in order for them to release my money back into my account they would need an authorization letter fax over from the hotel. And nice lady there did everyday up until that Thursday because they kept rejecting the letter. So once that Thursday came I was furious! My funds should have been back on my card. I have never had to go through anything like this in order to get MY FUNDS back. Today is January 7, 2019 and I still don’t have my funds. Never again will I ever go through this for MY MONEY.

    I filed a dispute with RushCard due to an unauthorized transaction of 324.00 that was withdrawn from my account without my consent. It has been over 10 days since I filed the claim and I have yet to get any provisional credits or response. I was told by an agent that must have been in Mumbai or somewhere remote, because they couldn't speak or understand proper English, that I would receive a credit within a few days of submitting the dispute. I have never experienced in all my years of banking a company as uncaring as RushCard.

    My account and card was blocked, due to my card being compromised. I wasn't informed prior and my card was just blocked. I contacted customer service and was informed that a new card needed to be sent. They informed me it would take 7-10 business days. After I explained that this was unacceptable and needed to have the card sent immediately, they informed me it would cost an additional $30.00!

    After speaking with the agent, she said they could file a ticket to have that $30.00 reimbursed to me. I then attempted to let the agent know that my mailing address was not updated and provided her with my new address... I was then told, I needed to submit all of these different documents to prove my address, as my account was locked and they could not edit my address. I've now sent the documents on four (4) separate occasions and they aren't visible enough for the team to see them...

    I've finally sent in another copy of my ID and now they say that can't see the text on the ID! I've asked to speak with a member of their corporate office or a member that I can send an e-mail to, in order to get a clear document and it's the same robotic answer. RushCard is holding my money and I'm following through with a BBB complaint.

    I like that RushCard is normally able to pay a little earlier, especially with the paydays that we have. I went with them and they have been helping us. There are some months when we get paid earlier by about two days. However, we never know when it's coming. If RushCard could have something to show that the payment is pending, their service would be improved. Nevertheless, it's easy to use and their reps are always nice and pleasant. They try to give as much information as possible. I'd definitely recommend this company.

    I went to use my card which all the numbers were removed from the card along with the expiration date. I had the card for about four years but still you should be able to still see the numbers, I guess that's the quality of the card. Anyway my purchase came back as decline even though I knew the funds were available. After further investigation I find out that my card had expired. I tried to go online to order a replacement card but it asked for my card number which was removed. I called the number and was never given an option to speak to a rep so I changed it up and clicked the option to report fraud. That's when a representative came on the line and stated that in order for me to change my address to have the card sent out I had to fax in my Driver's license, a bill and social security card.

    I faxed the information which I never had to do with any other bank card of mines. I faxed in the information and they said my driver's license wasn't clear, they couldn't see my address, so I blew up the card so they could see the address, I called again clicking the fraud option again due to no customer service line, they then stated that they needed to see all four corners of the ID. I faxed them the entire ID again blown up. In between these calls, I asked to speak with a supervisor, which in returned I found out was not one and then when I asked to speak to a manager, she paused, came back on the phone and said she was the manager after she left me on hold for 1hr and 1 min prior.

    I called back again to make sure they received the ID with all four corners and then they said that can't see my picture. All of this to change my address so that I can receive my card. At this time I stopped my direct deposit. I just wish to have my card so that I can withdrawal my funds. I am a government employee who tries to support new ** owned business but not this one. I'm writing this to at least stop one person for making a bad decision. Lastly before I got off the phone with like the 2nd supervisor he stated that they don't have numbers after the person who claim she was the supervisor gave me a id # of ** Kay **, and they don't give out last names. Unfortunately I work too hard to be treated like this.

    I have been a RushCard holder since 2010! Yes a very long time, and throughout my time using them I have been a victim of Credit card fraud TWICE!! NOT ONCE BUT TWICE!! Every person you talk to over the phone barely can speak English which is VERY FRUSTRATING in itself. Would you think someone in accounting or the fraud department would make sure victims would have extra security placed on their accounts. I GUESS NOT! Here we are today I get an alert someone has used my CC info miles away along w/ my PIN# just so happens to be in Ohio where RushCard is based out of! WOW what a coincidence that happened huh. When I reside in Washington, DC area. You cannot convince me that this second time is not an inside job!

    The day after I have a deposit post to my account the next day my money is being taken from me. These cc so called scammers made a purchase at a store in Ohio for the EXACT AMT of money that was left in my account. Not only did they make one purchase, they made two transactions. And RushCard now wants me to pay them $5 to receive a new card! GTFOH...I REFUSE TO GIVE UP, LOOSE ANYMORE OF MY MONEY AND OR UTILIZE their services ANY LONGER. THIS IS IT! Once I get my money refunded back to me they will never have to worry about me and or anyone I know to use their services! People please make sure you have alerts set up to inform you of any transactions being processed like I did. If not I would have never known!

    I have been in contact with my payroll dept. over the last three months and know the exact time of when my payroll has been entered multiple times and even though my info is submitted early than expected each time it has no effect on how and when my direct deposits post with Rush Card. I have lived and learned never to trust this company with 100% of my direct deposit. My direct deposits used to post every Wed. night by 10:30 EST but now it's up in the air and there is no way to figure out when exactly. My bank posts my deposit every Thur. by 3am EST without fail. My bank often beats Rush Card to the table with funds but sometimes I still get lucky.

    I had this card for almost a year. I called December 17th to make sure my card was good because I haven’t used it in a while but the website says activate my card. I spoke with a rep who said a new card was mailed for not using it for a while but my old card will work. I loaded money on the card and used it for an Amazon transaction. I receive an email the 18th from Amazon declining the transaction says card inactive. I try the atm, doesn’t work. I call RUSH and they tell me I have to wait 5-7 days for my new card. 7 day pass, no card. I called the 27th woman informs me it takes 7-10 business days. Spoke to a supervisor who says the card should still be good to use.

    I CANNOT transfer it to another card because the security code is incorrect. Apparently they sent a new card with the same numbers and expiration but new security code. Here it is the 2nd and guess what? NO CARD. I call and this lady informs me that they sent a card on December 27th. WHY ARE YOU KEEPING ME FROM GETTING MY MONEY FROM THIS CARD? All I want is my money. I even asked them to overnight a new one because this is entirely their fault. Oh I forgot to mention they sent a card over the summer too which I never received. In all a total of cards have been mailed out and I received NONE. I WANT MY MONEY!

I have sent documents to these people 5 different times to get my address changed so they will open my account and give me back my 1300 dollars and here I am a week later still no money and still no address change. They just keep telling me they haven't received my documentation, I have spoke to these people at least 15 times in the last 7 days and I have gotten nowhere! I hope people read this and stay away from this card because these people are incompetent and don't care about you or your money. At this point I don't know what else to do.     I’ve been with RushCard for 10 years. Every time my card gets ready to expire in December I usually receive my card. For some odd reason this year I did not receive my updated card and was told I could use my card. Well December 31 came and I tried to purchase my kids some pizza to bring in New Years and the card said declined due to my card being expired. So I said that can’t be true so then I go to the ATM to swipe my card and the ATM reads declined expired card.

    So I proceeded to contact RushCard to find out where is my card. I was connected with a disrespectful customer service rep who informed me that my card was sent out December 3, 2018 and that I should check my mailbox. I then replied, "Today is December 31. You telling me it takes 30 days to receive an updated card." He said, "No. It takes 7-10 business days." So I replied, "So where is my card?" He replied check my mailbox. SMH. I found that to be rude.

    Then I was told because they have to send a replacement card I would be charged a $5.00 fee which I think is unfair due to the fact that I’m suppose to automatically get a new card when my card expires. So I contacted Rush again today and asked them where is my card because I need to feed my kids. And why am I paying for a card I never received. I’m not understanding. Then the supervisor Tony told me he tells me I can pay for expedited shipping for 35 dollars. I’m done with Rush. I need a lawyer.

    My brother introduced me to RushCard and I signed up because once I had someone sign up, I would get $5. But I don’t think my information is really secure with RushCard. I pay some bills with it. But some places don’t take it because it’s a prepaid card. So I just use it like regular cash. Also it’s like a mission sometimes talking to them. I had someone use my card in a different state from where I was in and when I called to let them know not to cancel the card yet because I have funds coming and I need the funds, they canceled it right then and there.

    It’s not like they could reverse the cancellation. I had to wait two weeks before I got a new card. When you tell them not to do something, they just turn around and do it. So I don’t know what the rep was listening to. To me, the limit that you can use is too little. If you use it as your primary card, and If I need to pay something that would take out more than 500, I can’t in one day.

    I’ve had this card for a long time. I’ve been here more than five years and everything has been in good standing because you can’t really do anything because it’s a prepaid card. You can’t go over the limit or nothing. If I had like 6,000 on the card, then you should at least give me the option to at least get 1,000 out a day if I wanted to. I wouldn’t advise anyone to use it as their main bank card. It would just be like if you’re going somewhere and you don’t wanna use your regular bank account. If you just put in that amount of money on it, and you wanna use that, I’ll advise to use RushCard. It has its ups and downs but it's good.

    I warn you NOW. Cancel your RushCard account!!! I have been trying to retrieve my money for almost a month now. My account was locked because I forgot some information. They told me to send my social security number, ID and other identifying information to prove I was me (understandable). I did that and they denied it because they said the copies were unclear.

    I re-sent the copies in color and they accepted the copies but they had a NEW request - PROOF OF ADDRESS. I advised them I live with my son and have no bills in my name. They requested I send in a letter from my son stating that I live with him. My son wrote a letter and I sent the letter to them. I called the next day to check the status of the request. They rejected the letter and asked for a bill with my son's information on it so they could verify he lived at the address. I sent those documents the next day. I didn't just send ONE bill I sent FOUR: cable, lights, gas, phone. I sent everything but his mortgage and home security information (because at this point RushCard is a fraud and will probably sell his information).

    Again, they denied the documents because they said the bills were not within the 30 days. They were 32 days old to be exact! (I'm furious at this point) I spoke with a "supervisor" (that's a joke) and she ASSURED me that she would get the situation handled and forward the information to corporate. I was ultimately asked to send a more recent bill. Thankfully I got a bill in the mail dated 12/20/18 from my son and a check from my employer dated 12/22/18. I faxed them both pieces of mail on 12/23/18.

    I gave the situation a few days. I called them today 12/27/2018 and they told me that they don't accept address verification from a third party. I MEAN ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! I spoke with them multiple times and they kept asking me to re-send bills and information from my son. Now that I've spent a total of $40 faxing documents they don't accept 3rd party information?? Something has to be done about this. All the complaints are the same here. We are being ripped off and this company is stealing money from people. I want a resolve and I am sure they will reply with a generic message and NEVER respond to my reply. I do not accept this behavior. CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT!

    I have been a member for over 10 years and recently I have made the decision to leave this company and join a bank where the customer service is actually helpful and does not make you feel that you are wrong when you have questions about YOUR money. They have been having so many problems with having access to MY money with their system issues, I am going crazy. I stayed with this company because I enjoyed getting paid 2 days earlier but I will sacrifice the 2 days so that I will always know what is going in with my money. I called a few times about not being able to access my money and the customer service basically told me oh well, I just have to wait.

    This is NOT money I am borrowing from you. This is money that I put in from working HARD. Also to be told there is a monthly limit on MY money does NOT sit right with me. I was not told of this via e-mail, mail or any other communication. I found out by calling because after trying to get my rent out, failed, I called and the person on the other end was more like talking to a preschool kid. I apologize if I sound rude in any way but I am so disgusted with this card service. Thank you for the years I was able to get paid 2 days early but NOW it is time to have my money more secure and customer service that can ACTUALLY answer my questions. Happy New Year!

    Card was compromised, ok it happens. What is the total failures of Rushcard is when your info., gets compromised the people on the other end don't speak English, I've called four times, faxed paperwork two months ago only to not have the problem rectified. Yes everyday use was ok., just wait until something goes wrong in this perfect world & you call Rushcard, "GOODLUCK". My best advice is to ask where call center is located?

    This is the most immature rude company ever! They refuse to help you if you don't remember the phone number you opened the account with years ago. You can't update any of your information on your account unless you mail them papers requesting it or fax them papers. It's 2018 who actually has time for all of them that when everything can be done electronically. I fully verified my name, SSN, address and DOB but because I didn't remember my PHONE NUMBER that I used over four years ago then they couldn't help me. That's the dumbest bs I ever heard and I work for a billion dollar credit card company who doesn't even do that bs! I will NEVER use them again. The agent hung up on me and they refuse to let you speak with anyone higher up. I'm starting to think they are scamming people and fraud.

    I have have been a member for 15 years with RushCard. I called in my dispute on 12/15/18. Agent said it will be 10 days to credit my account and ship a new card. I received the card on 10/26/18 but no credit of 116.00 which was stolen. I called in. Spoke with rep. Now saying they meant 10 business days. I explained traditionally banks will credit your account within 24 hours. I spoke to a supervisor which explained they are unable to make any exceptions to expedite the credit. They also stated the dispute form was never sent to me and I would need to complete the form that was suppose to be sent 10 days ago.

    I am convinced RushCard care absolutely nothing about you as a customer or the hardship their procedures cause you and are not willing to make any exceptions to help you. They do not care if you remain a customer or not even after 15 years. Don't waste your time. Find a financial institution that cares about their customers and willing to protect you and support you through unfortunate circumstances and hardships like this! To date they have not made it right and I have not been reimbursed or refunded. They proved they don't have my back! I will not be back!

    I've had this card since 2017. Just this past year I've had so many problems with refunds correctly going back on my card. I ordered clothes from Crazy 8 on Dec 16th. They charged my card 4 times over what I ordered. I been calling RushCard. Getting the complete runaround although I already called the company and it's past their 3 to 5 business days for them to credit. RushCard is holding the funds although the company sent them the fax already for release of the funds. Now RushCard told me 10 days and here it is the 10th damn day and my money still not here. I called just before writing this and now they tell me it'll be guaranteed tomorrow the 11th business day. That makes no sense. After I get my money back I'm never using it again. Consider yourself cancelled. 230 may not be much to you but it's my hard earned money.

    I had this card for 5 years now. It has been a headache other than hoping your money comes 2 days sooner. I made a purchase for Christmas and canceled the order within 30 minutes. The merchant has released the hold and send a fax to RushCard... I still don't have the money back after 1 week. You card declines for simple things that leave you embarrassed in public, knowing you have funds... I receive about 5,000 a month in my account for DD and will be moving my money back to a traditional after these terrifying events. * I got this card when I had no other options.     This is the 2ND time a systems error has messed up my money. First time, I was ordering a replacement card because my 1st one was about to expire (within days), silly of me to have thought they would just send one, but ok. So I order the card, customer service rep, put the request in TWICE! Why??? So it messed up my account when I tried to activate the card. I call back, supposedly it's fixed. Fast forward to a year and 2 months later. I misplaced my card. So I go on the app and pause the card.

    The NEXT DAY I find the card, go back on the app to unpause the card and the system won't allow this request. I call customer service and they tell me I can't unpause the card because of the mistake they made a year ago. My only option was to start a new account, wait 7 to 10 business days for a new card then do a card to cards transfer of my funds. YOU GOTTA BE ** KIDDING ME! THIS IS YOUR ERROR! I'm not starting a new account! After this situation is rectified, I'm cutting up this card. I'm done. The only reason I got the card was the early direct deposit. But honestly, it's not worth the headache.

    On 12-15-18 two fraudulent transactions were made to my account. On 12-18-18 I Deposited $889 and sum into the account. I used 85$ when I went to work on 12-19-18. Over $700 in transaction was taken somewhere in Texas. I called expressing "How can this happen when I’m from Connecticut?" RushCard told me I have to wait until I get the new card then filling dispute. This is unbelievable.

    At first, I was attracted to RushCard because with them, I could get paid early. I came from a banking account and my aunt who had RushCard told me about them. However, recently I wanted to put in a dispute claim about my card. I was informed that I would have to be without a card for seven to ten days and I didn't have the money to overnight my card. To do so would cost $35 for regular shipping and it would take 1 to 2 business days and it still isn't guaranteed. So, I told two customer service representatives and then a supervisor that I didn’t wanna put the claim in at this time.

    My birthday is upcoming and Christmas is a week after that so I can't afford to be without any funds. Also, I'm a single mom and I have a six-year-old who is a daredevil. Things happened randomly and I need to have access to my funds. The reps supposedly understood that. I thought they got it because when I got out of work that day, my card was still active and still was for about for more days. Then I woke up, my next pay period to find out my card was blocked. No one called me to tell me they were blocking my card.

    I was ready to go pay my bills and my card was blocked which infuriated me. I spent four hours on the phone and RushCard didn’t want to take blame for it. They said it was because I put in a claim and I said that I didn't because I never got my approval to finish the claim once I found out I had to do without my card for that long. I made it very clear to the two customer service reps and the supervisor that I didn’t wanna submit the dispute claim because I needed my card. The reps at RushCard were saying that they understood that I was a single mom. For me, they don't understand that because they aren't single moms and they don't have any other need for funds. For them to tell me that they understood is ridiculous.

    Instead of telling me when they are going to be able to put the card back up, they told me that I had to get a new card which infuriated me more. They told me that it's protocol that when I file a dispute, they would block my card and issue me a new one. I understood that but then they didn't follow protocol ‘cause the person on their end blocked my card and never ordered me a new one. Furthermore, they told me that it was protocol to block my card the day I put my dispute in. However, they blocked my card four days after because I was able to still use my card in that process before I found out I was blocked. That infuriated me even more.

    This is the first major problem I had and I feel they didn’t really help me out at all, because all the reps could say is, “There’s nothing we can do about it. These are the two only options -- either overnight the card or you do the regular 7 to 10 days with the card.” That doesn't work for me because of the events that are happening and the bills that need to be paid. Still, the reps just respond by saying that they're sorry about the situation and that they understood. I understand that RushCard is sorry but they made the mess.

    The supervisor said that she could put the issue in with corporate so that they could try to waive the fees. However, I called and found out that corporate didn't wanna waive it. They said that those were the regular fees to get a card and I'm stuck with that. I would be okay with that if this was a problem that I created and this was my fault, but it wasn’t. I feel that I shouldn’t have to pay for someone else’s mistake, and that’s what’s happening. So, I have to put in another claim because I really do feel strongly that this is not my fault. This is their issue and I feel like you guys need to cover that, because if they don’t cover it, then it will happen to someone else and I don’t want that to happen to someone else.

    I spent four hours on the phone with them and I got hung up on by two supervisors. Also, it seems like when everybody would read my cases, figure out that I’ve been on the phone with them whole morning, their attitude would change. I was in customer service so I know phone voice is our everything, especially when you’re dealing with customers on the phone. Customer service reps have to keep that pep in their voice because anything else seems like an attitude. At RushCard, they started off with pep in their voice and then it changed instantly once they read my notes. I was a little pissed after a while, so my language was a little nasty, I feel like. But it didn’t start off like that. Overall, I'm very dissatisfied with RushCard.

    I Had a RushCard a while now. I had something to happen when I left town for a while with my card. I filed out a dispute. They declined. Every one of the disputes I sent them I had proof. They didn’t care. I recently had a problem with them and I wrote the dispute department. No response. I had money take off my card over $600 dollars. The dispute team still declined. It doesn’t matter if you make a dispute and have proof. They just take your money and hope you forget about it and keep going with your life. I thought RushCard was the best company for years but once you bank with them it’s like what have I done because if someone steals your money you can’t get it back. $686 was taking from my account in October. They still have not replaced or called or anything.

    I have never had so many money issues as much as I have with the RushCard. Russell don't even own it anymore, it is run by them crooks at Netspend. They are a third party card company that has no power or concern about satisfying their customers or securing them. They thrive on poor people to use their card so they can allow them to be robbed blind. I mainly use the card during the holidays online because I dare not use my real secure bank account online. I was on the phone with a scripted rep who kept saying the same English phrases she was taught to say over and over again like somebody is stupid. I guess I am stupid for putting a penny on this stupid card and business.

    I heard about RushCard in television commercials, online and social media but I was exposed to it on cable TV. I liked the whole concept and there were cards out there equal or very similar and maybe slightly better than them but Russell Simmons started the card and it was a main factor for me. I grew up a big fan of him and his brother, Run-DMC, was my favorite group. You don’t have to report the card stolen even if you’ve misplaced it, which I’ve done two or three times. I can pause it, instead of having to order another one, to give myself time to find it. Instead of ordering a new card only to find the card that I thought that I lost, but it’s no longer active because I reported it lost or stolen. So, the pause the activity feature is great and it separates it from the competitors. I have 100% of my payroll check going into my RushCard.

    When I set up a PIN number on my account and they asked different questions, it was a bit challenging for the representative pronouncing some of those street names or some of those family member’s names. So, I had to coach them and tell them that if they were saying the street name or a person’s name and they know that they have a heavy accent, they can phonetically pronounce it. Still, the customer service reps were very friendly and the interactions were very pleasant. As far as prepaid cards go, RushCard is as good as any other one out there.

    If I could give them a zero star I would. This is the worst company. Beware. They are a scam. Purchased items from a retailer. Went the next day to return some items. It was a credit of 98.01. When I walked out I got a notification that instead of the return it was a purchase. Went back to the store to file a complaint. Long story short it was not the retailer. It was RushCard that decided to charge an extra $98.01 as that is their way they do things. Unbelievable. What if I needed that money now and their response was it could take up to 5 Business days. Totally not ok. By the way the highest supervisor is in the Philippines named Triston. And he said that once that $98.01 is reviewed there is a chance I would not get that back. Complete scam. They definitely should be sued for holding money until they decide to release it.

    I couldn‘t get a bank account at the time so I went with RushCard. It’s crazy though that I have had it since 2007 because I’m not a happy customer. With my situation, it’s what’s convenient for me. But having RushCard is very inconvenient. I had a situation happen twice now since I’ve had my card where they have closed my account and it happens to be a day or two before my check gets put on there. I have to wait for them to send me out a new card, which takes seven business days. People have bills to pay when their checks get put on their card. So for me not to be able to have access to my money is very stressful. RushCard has put me in situations where I have gotten late fees for my rent or my cellphone has gotten turned off and that’s just not cool.

    Last month, there was a $17 unauthorized charge on there. I’m not sure where it came from. They immediately closed the card and told me that I can pay 30 something dollars for a card to be rushed. But if I don’t have the money on there, then there’s no money to pay. And they wouldn’t take another card for payment. It was a Thursday and I was getting paid that Friday. Furthermore, they’re denied at certain places. I can’t use it on Uber and Apple Pay. So things that are very important right now, I can’t do that with that card. Direct deposit is probably the only thing that it’s good for. My direct deposits do go in.

    I used to get my check on Wednesday afternoon. Nothing has changed with my pay and my company where I’ve been with for five years. But now, I get them on Thursdays at midnight. So, I’m not getting them any earlier like I used to. It also limits how much I can take out. If I have to pay $1,800 for my rent, I have to take the money out in two separate days because it does not let me take out $1,800. I have a limit within 24 hours so if I spent money at 9 AM on Tuesday and I have reached my limit, it doesn’t reset until 9 AM on Wednesday.

    RushCard should be called high way robbery! I’ve been using the card since 2013. This is the worst prepaid service ever! You charge a monthly fee then I can’t even withdraw 500 from an ATM because it’s over the limit because you gotta pay a ATM fee! You can’t even do a cash advance without getting declined when the funds are available. You call RushCard and they can’t even give you a number to corporate office. Provided with other the past months! Back in February I called because I was being charged 2.50 for a in network fee from back in January over 100.00. Each time I called we got to escalate this over to corporate. I’ve still been calling to this day each time, "Oh I promise you someone will return your call in two," still no calls.

    I calls back oh back in January. We changed the policy. Well when was I going to get notified. I called in October because I set up a bill pay for 800.00 that my landlord didn’t received, "Oh let me send this over to corporate and someone will call you." Let’s just say it’s November 12th and nobody has returned my called or followed up. RushCard does not care anything about their customers! I will contact corporate myself. I wrote this email on Monday and yet no one has yet to give me a returned call or email. So I will call Better Business Bureau.

    So at 5am Colorado time, I decided to look at my account and found 3 transactions that were done in Georgia that I didn't authorize. So I called. Up to this point, I have had the best of experiences with RushCard and have been a member since 2014 when I really needed an account. So, it's early, I'm frustrated and the agents are reading from a script, pronouncing my name wrong, not listening to me as the customer, not preparing me for the 100 questions they are going to ask me about my account or anything. Now I may not have a ton of money, but what dollars I have are certainly important to me and I expect more courteous employees who have better people skills than what I received today. As this was my first poor experience I probably won't pull out yet, but if it continues, I will. Mr. Def Jam doesn't really need my little dollars.

    So I’ve been with RushCard since 2009. Never really had a problem. But I recently got my payroll and started buying Christmas things. I’m the type that checks my balance after every transaction. When you purchase something sometimes there’s a hold out on it but the money still disappear. I understand that and it’s fine. But I bought 2 items from Walmart and ended up canceling one. When the charge cleared it, it clears for about half that was taken but my balance did not go up. This made me investigate. So I went and calculated my expenses and the balance is way off. So are we getting scammed?? I’m going to talk to my aunt at CBS to have them investigate. I know it’ll take a minute but they usually have great investigations about consumer concerns. She has the pull to get it looked at because I’m just extremely upset. When I called, the guy was just trying to get me off the phone. Smh.

    I’ve had RushCard since 2012. My paycheck is posted earlier with them and their fee has been very reasonable. However, I’m not happy with them right now and as a matter of fact, I’m about to switch. I called a month and a half ago and told them that something was being charged on my card that I did not authorize. They said they couldn’t do anything about it and so they took $90 off my card, then cut it off. The guy said they would send me a new card. I told him that they had my old address on file and I’m not staying there anymore. He did not care. Supposedly, it was a supervisor that was on the phone. He said that the card had been cut off and my account had been blocked, so I couldn’t even go online and update my address. I went online and tried to update my address and my account had been deactivated so I could not change it. They sent the new card to my old address which I did not receive and they charged me $5 for that.

    I called them back and told them about it. The guy asked for my new address number and he'd send it there. He said he would charge me another $5 for another replacement card. He unlocked my account and I updated my address but I did not get that card. I just called them back this weekend to try and get another card. They charged me another $5 and that would take another seven to 10 business days.

    Also, after the thing that happened where nobody had access to their money because RushCard was updating their system, and they had that little glitch, a lot of vendors are not accepting RushCard now. As far as paying bills, vendors lost confidence in RushCard but the online purchases were fine. I’m very upset about not having my card because my check goes direct deposit. I’m gonna stop my check from going there. I have a prepaid card too so I’m just gonna put it on that.

    I don’t think RushCard should deactivate anybody’s account, especially when they know that it’s not up to date. I also don’t think they should constantly charge $5 for a replacement card that the person is not receiving. I even asked the guy if RushCard has an expedited thing ‘cause this was their fault.     I had fraud activity on my card 11/27/2018 and contacted Rush and was told I needed to submit a dispute form. I faxed it twice only to be told they didn't receive it. After calling 4 more times I was finally informed that I could upload the document. After 2 more calls they finally received it and told me it would take 10 days and they would give me a provision credit until the issue was resolved. I waited until 12/7/2018 and nothing. I waited until the next day. Called. They told me they would have to send an escalation to the dispute department and everything will be done in 24hrs.

    I waited again. Still nothing after talking to 2 different reps. The 1st was so unprofessional. I had to keep saying, "Hello, hello." He was annoyed I guess. The second rep told me it would be 2 more days because the dispute team hasn't posted any new notes but she does see I was supposed to receive it on 12/7/2018. Today's the 9th, my son's birthday and guess who has no money. This is the most unprofessional experience I've ever been in. I've had Rush since 2011 and have never reported fraud or anything. For them to just keep lying to get me off the phone is ridiculous. After this situation I will be leaving Rush. 77.00 may not be a lot of money to some people but for a single mom working 2 jobs it's a lot. I'm so disgusted and disappointed with the way they are handling this situation. It's the holidays and crooks are everywhere. Please be careful because if you have any fraud on your account good luck getting your money back like you're a criminal.

There's no showing of a one time fee of $9.95 and now when I went to pay half of my bill they tell me there's a $1.00 transaction fee. So okay let me get this right. You charged me $9.95 for this card. $4.95 to load the card, and $1.00 each freaking transaction. So I just spent $15.80 to only use 7.50 of my HARD EARNED MONEY that I worked my ** off to get Friday. And still couldn't pay my internet bill. I needed 9.99 to pay for my freaking internet bill. And still never got to pay for it. Are you for real??? Wow.

With all these hidden fees you have. That ** was not on the website when I looked at it 2 weeks ago. It was FREE to get the card. But now you have a one time fee.     RushCard has the best system. Even when I talk to the customer service, it’s fine. Every time I had a problem or something was going on with my RushCard, the customer service helped me out a whole lot and we definitely resolved everything I was going through. Using RushCard helped me out a lot. It was convenient to use in purchasing online and pay bills. I also got the app. Setting up direct deposit was easy. All I had to do was go into the app and then I already had the direct deposit information on there. I’ve been with them for about five years. I like RushCard.

    My cash advanced was denied. When I call Rush they said the pin update did not go through. The teller told me that specifically but when I went to Rush.com it kept say my pin is wrong!     In 2012, I needed a card when I was working at Shell. The clothing company Baby Phat back then had Kimora Lee Simmons’ logo on the RushCard card and it was cute, so I got it. I like getting paid two days earlier and being able to get my money on time and not having the whole hassle of going to the bank and taking out money. However, you have to pay $5 in the reload packs just to put your own money on there. I don't agree with that but they have to get their money some kind of way. Overall, I’ve had all great experiences with RushCard. It’s easy and simple to join.

    I’m locked out my account because I can’t remember my old phone number. They told me to send a copy of my ID Social and a letter to prove that is me, I did that. Also the letter was received Saturday. It’s December. Not yet have I went Christmas shopping or even paid my rent because they blocked my account and holding my $744 dollars, I verified my ADDRESS, FULL SOCIAL, CARD NUMBER, BILLING Address.     I placed an order with Kohl's over a week ago. The order was cancelled the same day because the product was out of stock. I contacted Kohl's and was told that the money had been released on their end and to contact my bank. I contacted RushCard and basically got the runaround. I asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor told me my funds would be returned within 24-48 hours. I still have not received my money and this is the 3rd time this has happened with this card. One time it took 30 days to get a refund. I will absolutely be cancelling this card as soon as I get a refund.

I contact customer service and like many others get the same useless response from someone who barely understands English reading the same scripted message by upper management. At this point, I've filed a formal complaint to the PA. District Attorney's office for review.

Sent in papers. Name was changed. Now I have to change my address. Sent 10 copies of ID social and mail with new address on it. It's still not changed. One person said they received my documents another person said they did not. Long story short been calling every day to see if documents was received and I still don't have my card. Very irritated at this point.

    On the 16th of November 2018 I contacted RushCard bc a company online had made an unauthorized transaction. Rush researched it and told me the unauthorized transactions went as far back as May. I should have paid closer attention but this transaction would take place between 1-3 am. Well I emailed the dispute forms and was told to complete and return as I did within 2 hours. Rush let me know that they would have to reissue me a card and I would get it Tuesday the 20th and my old card would be deactivated to keep any other unauthorized withdrawals from happening.

    I didn't have a problem with waiting until Tuesday. So I did what Rush asked. Tuesday came and I had no replacement card... so I was like let me give them an additional day. Well the day before Thanksgiving... still no RushCard. I contacted Rush and asked for a supervisor. I let the supervisor know what had happened and that I have yet to receive my card. I pleaded, "please reactivate my old card and allow me to make a small withdraw in order to provide Thanksgiving dinner for my kids." I also let her know that if I had known that they would not have my card to me by the 20th... I could have withdrawn the money needed before they deactivated.

    The supervisor told me she couldn't activate my old card that I still had but if I dropped the dispute she could. I said but I didn't authorize it, she said, "Well that's your only option unless you pay $30 to expedite a replacement card." Which isn't guaranteed. So there was no Thanksgiving meal for my family. The day after Thanksgiving my power was disconnected... and I'm having to stay with friends until I get my replacement card and pay a huge reconnect fee my son has epilepsy... and I can't get his medicine. Hell I do not have gas to get to work Monday... All because Rush Card failed me as a customer. I've been with Rush since October 2004.

    Today after not getting my card... I call Rush back to have a supervisor go ahead with the first Supervisor's offer to withdraw the dispute and give me access with my old card to my funds. That supervisor goes on to tell me no he can't do it and that I should get my card December 1st. What the hell? I asked for someone above him or someone in the legal department of Rush because now I need to get my attorney on the line. He referred me to the web page. Rush card has lied and given me the run around about MY money.

    I do know that I will have my attorney involved on Monday. I also know once I get access to my money. That is the end for me. RushCard couldn't stop unauthorized transactions but stopped me from accessing my money as if I had committed a crime. Rush has caused unjustified stress and financial hardship by not sending me my replacement card on the 20th and since the 20th of November Rush has unlawfully and without my permission held my funds.

    Updated on 12/04/2018: So I wrote a review about my many negative horrible experiences with RushCard. They really are a crappy company. After reading my review they responded with a generic (contact us via private message) only to never respond. This is really not the way you treat a loyal customer.

    Original Review: RushCard is by far the worst prepaid debit card one person could ever use. Please take my advice and get a bank account. They steal your money and never ever have any explanations as to where your funds went. They charged me an expedited fee to get a new card. Fee was $30.00 only to tell me the next day, "Your card hasn’t shipped. It’s just basically sitting idle." They didn’t explain how the expedited shipping works so I paid $10.00 for two replacement cards a week and a half ago and then paid the $30.00 for the expedited shipping with an additional $5.00 so basically altogether I am out of $50.00 and still no new card.

    The calls are all outsourced so all of the agents are so not empathetic and will only offer multiple dry apologies. You can hear the I don’t care in all of their voices. They ruined me and my children’s Thanksgiving. And after almost three years as a loyal customer I am canceling my cards and taking my business to a bank with better customer care and to have someone show that you are important to them as a customer. RushCard is the devil. I would rather gouge my eyes out with a red hot ice pick than continue to deal with their trifling ways.

    So I’ve been with RushCard since 2016 and I only had an issues with them holding pending transactions for 7-10 days that were already canceled but I let that go. I should have changed cards before. Two weeks ago they closed out my account for no reason saying Suspicious activity on the account. All I used it for was direct deposit and to pay my rent but as of today I still have money stuck in the account and I was told if there was any money in my account I would receive a check. I have yet to get anything and they keep saying they are waiting on their back office to approve it. I hate prepaid card like this that can just close your account out of nowhere and not give you your money.

    Overall using RushCard has been a great experience until you need to call customer service. You can verify all of you personal in (DOB, SSN, name) but the moment you get the address wrong they no longer want to help you. TBH AFTER TODAY I WILL NO LONGER USE RUSHCARD DUE TO POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES. I couple days waiting to get paid is not the worth the headache of finding out what’s going on with your money. The worst part is it took me going off on the supervisor to get what part was not verified correctly when the agent on phone could have said the same thing.

    Purchased a part at Advance Auto Parts. Found out I didn't need it so I returned it. I work for Advance Auto so I know their process with returns. I check my card a day later and not only is the refund not pending but they took the amount of the refund off my card. $101.99 taken off my card. They said it's a hold on the refund. They told me I would get my money back in 1-3 business days. Here I am on day 6 and still no money. I called again and they told me it's 3-5 business days. Did a 3 way call with RushCard and Advance Auto. Advance told them everything on their end was taken care of. I was then given a specific date by RushCard on when it would be returned which is today. Haven't received it and being told it's another few days. So not only do I have to wait for a refund to come through but they took money that was on my card and I have to wait for that to go back on as well.

    I have been with RushCard for nine years and have noticed that the Customer Service experience has tanked recently. I AM SO NOT HAPPY WITH A CURRENT SITUATION THAT MAYBE A LITTLE PUBLIC EXPOSURE WILL HELP GET MY ACCOUNT CORRECTED! I had the Unlimited Plan for years. With Direct Dep it was great to get my paycheck 2 days early, etc. Things have changed recently and on OCT 31 I changed my plan to Pay Per Use.

    I received an email as confirmation that my plan was updated. But I was still charged for the Unlimited Plan fee and they took the little bit of money I had $6.06 on NOV 1st and then the other $1.89 on NOV 13. I had made a $95 deposit to pay bills from this account, so they took the rest of that fee. NOT COOL RushCard! I have make four calls in the last two weeks, and again tonight they said I had to wait another two days. Every phone call I get the same script for both the agent and the supervisor... "We'll put in an escalation. Please check back in two days." I call back... and then get the exact same story with the exact same script. This is not okay. This is how you treat a customer since 2009? Nope! Please fix this and give me back my money!

    On 11/10 I checked my balance on my card and found that there were 20 unauthorized transactions from Google Play services. Immediately I contacted Google online to find out what these charges were for. I also called Rush dispute and explained that these are not legitimate charges and totally unauthorized. The rep told me that she could see that there are charges to this company back in July also. I told her that this has nothing to do with the July charges. I went to my account and viewed the July charges also.

    To my dismay, there are many unauthorized charges in July as well! I should of caught those then because it is too late to dispute July charges. So today I have to fax over the signed dispute form in hopes that I can get a provisional credit until they complete the investigation. Google refunded 4 of the 20 charges. That should tell the dispute team at RushCard that these are indeed unauthorized. What worries me however, after reading all these reviews that are mostly negative, will it do any good to file the dispute? I am 80 years old and have my retirement and social security deposited every month.

    I don't want my account frozen because although I need my refund, I cannot live without my direct deposit. It only seems reasonable that Google admitted to 4 transactions and refunded... Why won't they admit to the other 16? I have done all I can do on my end so now I need RushCard to step up and help me get my money back without a hassle. I'm afraid that if I send in this dispute form that it may get worse if I don't have a knowledgeable representative on Rush assisting me.

    So I have been a customer off and on of RushCard for multiple reasons. I have decided to give them another chance with a new job I have started and as of today I still have not received my direct deposit. There is almost no way to contact customer service, it's all just automated lines they loop you back and forth, I have never been able to speak to a live person ever so these other reviews about how rude they are I'd love to know how they got a hold of a live representative. The service is awful, if you are unlucky enough to encounter a problem with RushCard then you are pretty much on your own. Still waiting for my paycheck to deposit so I can pay my rent since my landlord is now starting to get very upset with me over this.

    I have been with RushCard since 2012 and never had an issue until now. My card expired back in May of 2018 and the replacement card that was sent out to me was not the same. RushCard has some new cheap card that the numbers fade of the card in matter of weeks. I've explained to them that all I wanted was my original card back before they made the decision to send me a new. I have been told that since I want the original card back I will have to pay a 3.95 design change fee and another 5.00 card replacement fee which is unacceptable to be charged for something that I didn't ask for to begin with. The money is the principle of the matter.

    I work for the Bank so it would not issue to change my direct deposits and cancel my services but I have been loyal to this company for a very long time and I expect the same in return. Moving forward I am against RushCard and will be helping all my family members and friends cancel their services and moving their accounts to the bank I work with and help them to avoid any monthly service fees. I am really stunned and taken back this. Further more RushCard should be ashamed of the cheap debits cards that they are issuing out to customers. If you want loyalty and great customer service RushCard is not the place for you.

    I have used RushCard for 3 years and had fairly decent experience until recently. I am working in a different state 7 hours from home and I used my card for a purchase in the state I am. In less than 1 hr later there was a charge from several states away (obvious fraud) and took every penny I had. I contacted customer service and was told I had to go through a lot of red tape to get my money back. I jumped through all the hoops and here it is a week later I was told my money would be returned by today but no money has been.

    I called customer service again and now I am told it will be another week. This incident has left me stranded 7 hrs from home with no money to get home or to buy food or anything. I have already canceled my direct deposit and as soon as I get my money back I am destroying the card and will never do business with this company again. I am also filing a lawsuit against this company. If you want to keep your money DO NOT use RushCard.

After I called customer told me to send copies of my ID and more items to get a new card. I sent 9 copies by fax. Even got my ID notarized. They told me they could not see my picture after telling them 200 times I am ** and my picture could not be seen. They continued to tell me they will not activate my card until they receive a new picture. Mailed an ID and still no check. I have missed two checks and still no card. I have rent and Bills to pay. I emailed customer service a copy of my ID still no word from Rush. Then they tell me to go online and upload documents in my account. They said to create an account.     I've been member since 2005 and the service gets worse each year. I had 3 pending authorization holds from the same merchant which is Royal Caribbean. The boat I was on was the Oasis of the Sea. The pending charges was made on the account same day but for different amounts that total my finale charge for the hold trip. To make a long story short the finale charge posted to my RushCard account and only 1 of the pending charges fell off.

    First I was told by RushCard that it will about 10 days for the other pending charges to fall off and then I was told that the merchant has to send a letter stating the basic when, where, why and how to release the hold so the merchant sent in the letter with everything that RushCard requested on it on the Royal Caribbean letterhead. Now RushCard has denied it because the letter don't have Oasis of the Sea on it which is the name of the boat I was on but the merchant is Royal Caribbean. Can someone please help me make sense of this hold up.

    Here I sit, a day later. I called Rush to let them know there were 4 fraudulent charges on my account totaling 1000.00. Their advice was for me to call the stores the fraud was committed in and see if they will refund me. What a joke! These stores not only did not want to help me, they advised me to get a bank that would better protect against fraud, and now I can't say I blame them.

    I plan on taking this to an attorney as Rush is telling me I have to file a dispute and it can take up to 45-90 days. I don't know if Rush knows this but most of us who use this aren't rich and need our money right away. Whoever ripped my card off left me with $0 for my 3-year-old's birthday. This is sick. Rushcard needs to get it together. They want to pretend to be a real bank, they should start acting like one and give a credit or stop the charge the minute they know it's fraud. If I could give negative stars, I would... Disgusted and not happy, and will be getting a different provider. I'm contacting the news and hitting all of social media.

    Charged 50.00 for 12.00 gas paid at the pump: Shocked when I got home after getting gas paid at pump with card. Got home, looked at transactions, gas station put a 50.00 hold on my account/card. Called. A girl told me it would drop off in 1 to 2 days. Checked today. Still there... Called again, now a lady told me it can take up to 10 days. WTF. THAT'S MY FOOD MONEY! I can't wait that long.     On October 30th, 2018 I used My RushCard to make a purchase on Ticketmaster.com. The transaction did not process on the merchant's side and RushCard place 2 authorizations on my account totaling nearly $900. I spoke to several supervisors and managers in customer service that were extremely unhelpful. I was told it would take 11 business days for my money to be released. Completely unacceptable.

    I then was told to expedite the process the merchant would need to provide a fax to RushCard which was done at the same time of the call. After 3 days RushCard is saying they have not received the fax even after a confirmation number was provided to them. I am still out of $900 or pending authorization and every person from associate to managers have been unhelpful. After holding my account at RushCard with weekly direct deposits for 7 years I will be closing my account after this matter is resolved. Furthermore my siblings will be closing their accounts as well due to the level of incompetence and no willingness to assist.

    OCTOBER 25th 2018 is WHEN it ALL started for me. I been a LOYAL HONEST customer since 2014. BUT this recent issue, sent me to another level. I went online to purchase a starter kit from a Major online Jewelry Co. for $99 + tax =$113.44. Unfortunately, my card declined due to wrong zip code/address, remind you, I haven’t used my RushCard in roughly a year, not realizing I didn’t update it. So I attempt #4 times trying to purchase the kit, kept declining. So I shut it down, noticed hours later I get a Rushcard alert for low balance. I had approx $600 and change in my acct at the time.

    The web portal through the jewelry charged me 5X’s $113.44. I have been back and forth with this issue since last week. I DID EVERYTHING I was told to do, to get this expedited. The jewelry co faxed over the “merchant release hold form” etc... RUSHCARD accepted/approved it, and forwarded it to Corp office. For some strange ridiculous reason, corp needs to the merchant directly to verify, WHAT??? Whatever! Calling EVERY SINGLE DAY to supervisors at RushCard to find out what’s going on and when is this going to be finalized. SAME O’L SAD story from EVERYONE 24-48 bus hrs. 6 Business hrs. total if 3 case numbers, names, promises etc... at RushCard, I can't even type anymore. I’m seeking legal advice.

    Avoid spending any of your hard earned money on this prepaid card! A few weeks ago the direct deposits were held up for more than 3 days! RushCard never bothered to alert their customers. Because of that debacle, my bills were paid late, I incurred late fees and insufficient funds fees from my utility companies. Then...as I always have with no issues at all, I stopped to fill up my tank. Paid at the pump as usual, no big deal. Wrong!!! RushCard put a 7 to 10 day hold on $125.50!!! I called, they said they'd have to wait until the transaction posts the following day and they would return my money. Wrong! Called the following day, they said Fry's Fuel automatically puts a hold on funds even though the actual gas transaction for $20.30 processed and cleared.

    They told me to call Fry's Fuel. Lo and behold, Fry's says they never played e money holds, call the bank. Call back for the third time and was told that my money would be placed back in 7 days. Waited 7 days, no money. Called back on the 7th day, oh the last person was wrong it will take 10 days. Today is day 10 and still no money. Called back, was told, “I'm sorry for the wrong information” but tomorrow is the 10th day. Because of this mess, I have been charged an additional $225 because I couldn't pay October's rent because I was short $125!!! RushCard is super quick to deduct that monthly service charge but super slow to return people's hard earned money! I use this card to pay bills because it's easier and I get my funds faster but not anymore. I will adjust everything and stick to my regular bank and so should you!

    I'm disabled and can't always go to the bank to my banking so I signed up for the RushCard. Everything was fine and it was convenient. Circumstance occurred that required me to close the RushCard account and go to a regular bank. This is where the relationship went sour. I closed the account online as I opened it with no problem, however, I didn't receive a confirmation that the account was successfully closed. I called several times to speak to their customer service, who said they do not provide notification of closed accounts but they can assure me the account is closed. I explained to the agent that I need a written notification so that I can provide it to the agency that provides me with benefits.

    The agent was insistent that they cannot provide me with the information. When I asked to speak to a supervisor they asked why, I explained that I need a notification or risk losing my home. So, the agent kept sending me emails indicating my preferences have been changed. I am desperate and terrified of becoming homeless, it’s two months now and this has not been resolved. I don't understand why they cannot send me a written notification indicating that the account is closed. I don't know what else to do.

    So I got this card because I was told you can get paid 2 days earlier. Not once has this yet happened (in the 2 months I've had this card), lol. I read these reviews how people think it is such a great card. I can't help but to wonder why since I have switched to them I have not had a single good experience with them. Needless to say my next direct deposit will be back with Netspend, where I previously was. At least they give you overdraft leeway & you have a chance of receiving your pay 2 days earlier (like they all claim). I have NEVER received my pay early through RushCard so In my opinion it's false advertising... But obviously some do. Guess you just have to be one of the lucky ones, lol.

    Been with RushCard for 5 years now and never had a problem. First they say you will get your direct deposit 2 days early, well that's a lie. The first 2 weeks of the month you get it early, the last 2 weeks of the month you will get it a day before or the day of your payday. Like it's on a revolving system. Secondly their customer service is awful. It's located in the Philippines and the CS reps can barely speak good English and they are really rude, don't let you talk, and always hang up in your face. If thinking about obtaining a RushCard think again. I'm ending this relationship and taking my banking business elsewhere.

    I had money taking out of my account by a merchant and it was suppose to be placed back on my account. It took about an hour to talk to someone and they told me money would be posted back to my account on a certain day. When that day came still no money. So I called them back. A new agent said they see where it would be posted at any time that day. The day goes by. Still no money returned to my account. Call again and it took another hour just to get told that the money was returned days ago, but it wouldn't show me on transaction. So 3 agents told me 3 different things. This is the crappiest prepaid service ever. They need to be investigated for fraud. DO USE RUSHCARD AND YOU WILL SAVE YOURSELF A LOT HEADACHES.

    I've been a customer with RushCard for 3 years and the way they have things set up is ridiculous. I had an online account with them that totally gave me problems preventing me to log in, view or change my Information. My wallet was stolen and I'm stranded a couple of hours away from home. Besides the online account the only way to prove my identity is faxing over my ID or utility bills and that's not a problem if you get utility bills in your name and if your wallet is present with your ID in it to prove who you are. In my case things happen. I've called and proved who I was thousands of times to these people and for them to give me the runaround about my benefits when I chose to get my direct deposit through them pisses me off!!!

    It's good they do it for security purposes but in emergency purposes like this they need an alternate option when people prefer to have their card sent to their direct location overnight. I'm not a happy camper. I'm just go take it as a lesson and as soon as I reach my card I'm discontinuing all business I have with RushCard and terminating my account with them. I AM NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER and this being the 3rd incident after 2 prior incidents I've had with them already. Furthermore lets me know I made a HUUUUUGE mistake by choosing RushCard. I don't recommend anyone to deal with them. To anyone who have a RushCard... Good luck.

    My time with RushCard needs to expire. I only signed up with this company so I could receive my check early. I was supposed to receive my money today but, there is no deposit. I haven’t called because I will get the same generic response as all the other disappointed patrons of this company. I’m looking elsewhere, this is the last straw for me. I’m placing all of my money in my credit union, I’d rather get paid on Friday than not knowing when I’ll get my money. Another thing that bothers me...     I have been trying to get in touch with a agent for a couple days and I haven't been able to. I have also email the email that was on the website. No one has gotten back to me. I enrolled in direct deposit thinking I would receive my paycheck early but I still receive it on my payday. That was the reason for me enrolling in direct deposit. I'm thinking about cancelling my card and going with someone else with better option of getting a live agent if I'm having problems. Their customer service is horrible. You never can talk to anyone.     I became a RushCard member 11 years ago, and I used to use it to upload my paychecks at that time when I was getting paid personal check from the employer that I was working with. I would snap a photo from my home, which was great. It was one of the definite benefits that I like about RushCard. I liked the designs of their card, too. I still receive direct deposit, but I’m thinking about switching over because they have so many issues. Sometimes, you do not receive your money. Also, sometimes when you call customer service, you’ll be talking to an offshore person and you could say one thing and then they’ll say another thing. I also have to ask them over and over again, “What did you say? I didn’t understand you.” I would definitely prefer talking to an American.

    Another thing is it would be good if RushCard would let you do an overdraft and charge you $15 on the overdraft fee. Other than that, setting up the direct deposit with RushCard was easy. I use it to pay bills and make online purchases as well and it’s convenient. I’ve always benefited more from having great experiences. RushCard is a good company to go with.

    Have been with RushCard for a few years now, never any problems until recently. Card expired 9/18. Didn't receive new one and realized I had not updated my address. Simple fix tho, right? You'd think so. Tried to log into account online as I have always been able to do, it tells me incorrect password. Reset password 3 times, writing it down to be sure and still won't let me in. Try to call and speak to a rep, except the number they have listed as customer service is the one that just goes to the prompt that tells you your balance, last 3 loads etc. No option to speak to a rep. So I tried emailing them, get an automatic email back that said something like unable to process request or whatever. Ok.

    So I write a paper letter, explaining situation and can they please help me log into account or update address. Got a call today about a week after mailing letter, the woman tells me to reset my password... Or to mail them copies of my driver's license, soc and a bill with address so they can update address, but I don't have a bill in my name so I have to try to figure this out still, or hope their website let's me in by some miracle.

    My account information is not the problem. Their website and app have never given me problems until now, and the fact that I couldn't find a number to call a rep anywhere online like I had been able to before is super sketchy. Whether or not I get my $620 back, I'm done with this company. It was really nice while it lasted but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone anymore. Terrible customer service and no help at all, they obviously don't care about their customers and are probably just gonna keep my money. Luckily for me, I'm better off and was able to use it while I paid off debt so can go to a real bank again, but some people are not so lucky.

    I love using RushCard and when I worked, I had my money loaded to the card. Sometimes, the $1 fees would add up and it’s taking your money right there. Other than that, everybody I talked to at RushCard handled the situation very well. My check arrived two days earlier and I liked that I’m able to pay my bills and online expenses. It was very easy to reload and I had also put money on the card and transfer from one account to another. Also, if you refer people and if they sign up and complete the referral, they get $30 and you get $30 as well. I have referred about 10 people and sometimes, I just forget my code to get my bonus. I'd tell friends to get RushCard. It’s a good choice.

Most times when this happens I get my pay by the next morning (still a day early). But this time I am going into the payday and still no deposit.     After trying 3 times (at least 40 minutes each time) to reach customer service finally on my 4th attempt 39-minute hold the agent tells me, "Oh it's not RushCard it's MetaBank. So I asked for their number he refused and said hopefuly the problem would be fixed soon. 4 to 5 years ago the same thing happened. Millions were without pay for weeks and weeks. In return all I got was 3 months free from monthly maintenance fees. What about my bill collectors charging me bounce fees. REALLY. I stayed like an idiot with RushCard and once again they let me down. I have 3 automatic deductions that declined because of RushCard's malfunction so far. Yes I depend on my paycheck while Russell Simmons and his millions are not affected. I'm so disappointed hurt and done. Thanks for nothing.

    My direct deposit is missing this morning and when I called RushCard, after waiting on hold for over an hour, they gave me some BS false story blaming the Automated Clearing House (ACH) for the delay. The representative said the problem has nothing to do with Rushcard but that there is a known issue with ACH. I found that to be a complete and utter lie. I have until 5 pm today to pay my rent and RushCard isn't doing anything to get my money posted.

    I hate the RushCard! They are not a good organization and they have too many issues. Last month my card was cancelled without my knowledge. I had to wait 12 days for my card. When you call them they are unapologetic and have no options. Now I usually get paid the day the payroll enters the checks. Checks were entered on the 12th. I already have my deposit receipt! But no funds. They are an inconvenience and after almost 5 years of use. I am no longer going to do business with them again. It is too much hassle and I have no options of accessing my funds when they decide to do updates and make changes. Also I never received a payment from that settlement they won in which I did not receive my check until after Christmas and my three kids had only partial gifts.

    Been a RushCard member because I am planning to retire in the Philippines and RushCard is able to be used Internationally, till without notice they removed the option to withdraw money internationally. Now I am not able to withdraw or use my card here in the Philippines and now I have to go to the US just to withdraw money. On their website they still have it saying that you are able to use your card for international withdrawals and purchases.

    This company doesn't care about its customers. I've filed a dispute for over 1200 because my card was used while I was incarcerated. Since then we have went through a hurricane. I've contacted them every day to try to get the provisional credits added to my card so I can take care of my kids. We have no power and no water. They just keep with the same response. Wait 10 business days so that's the 22nd. I am sitting here with my kids. I can't bathe or feed and it's hot. I need the money to get a motel room to take care of my kids and all they say is wait 10 business days.

If I thought for one minute this company gave a damn about their customers I'd be grateful for yesterday's transaction. I would have gone to the MoneyGram with instructions and received the money But nah... I was given a 8 digit for Western Union and it was MoneyGram.

    After being force to go sit at the social security admin building for 2 hours to provide that my social security number was not attached to a deceased person. After which a fanton ATM debit card mail on 9/8 was never received. And just one more thing the part about you holding $750.00 unemployment to pay my rent for more than 20 days not giving one **... to turn around and some me $125.00 late fee reimbursement through Western Union and it was MoneyGram. You owe me gas money at the least. But being disrespected repeatedly by your inadequate customer service rep and corp staff for over 30 days is cause for some compensation.     RushCard has horrible customer service and there’s always a language barrier. I cannot understand the associate trying to help me and sometimes they can’t understand me. I usually get paid every other Thursday no later than 3:45 PM and it’s later than that and I have no direct deposit in my account. I called customer service only for them to say there’s nothing they can do and that maybe because Monday was a holiday there’s a delay. My rent is late. I told them I would pay today and my kids need to eat but they cannot help. RushCard needs better ways at handling their problems.

    So back in August my husband had broken his card. It more so looked like someone took scissors to it but worked regardless. He called RushCard customer service and they charged him for another card. We were fine with that but then a month went by. We didn't get the card, but didn't care because the card that he had was still working, so about two weeks ago my boyfriend misplaces his card and we call RushCard letting them know that the card that we initially ordered was never received. So they charged him for ANOTHER card despite the first one that was sent out was never activated or received. A week flies by and we're getting antsy because there is no food in my home, and now my electricity is closed to being turned off.

    We called RushCard and asked if there was a way we could transfer the funds from my husband's card to mine, since he got paid or at the very least so we could pay our bill or at least eat, the woman stated it wasn't possible which was upsetting so we asked to speak to a manager. We waited so long on hold we eventually hung up. Then last Saturday, we called again and asked directly for a manager. we were on hold for 20 or 30 minutes and I wish I was exaggerating. we finally talk to the 'supervisor' and he clearly wasn't trying to hear what we were even telling him.

    We explained we were upset about being charged for two cards and that we never received any of the cards. The man rudely kept interrupting stating it takes 5-7 business days and the card would get here on 'Tuesday' we informed him that the last card that was sent never arrived and that we were upset about that also but he only focused on the newer one they sent. He was overall very unprofessional and I tried to be polite with him but he constantly spoke over me, cut me off, and overall didn't care. He ended up hanging the phone up in my face which I have never experienced in my life.

    I worked for a call center in banking and that's the first thing we were told not to do, EVER. Anyways we were annoyed but decided to wait until Tuesday (today) and guess what? NO CARD. All my other mail came in just fine but this card for some reason never shows up? And we get charged for new cards even if they're not activated, and sucky customer service, and we get to starve knowing we have the money but RushCard are thieves.

    Updated on 10/10/2018 : SO Yesterday, 10/09/2018, my husband called RushCard since this would mark one week without groceries, and asked why the card wasn't received after the very questionable manager stated that it would arrive on Tuesday of 10/09/2018. The employee did the same dry apology that we've been hearing for a week and stated that the card should be in today (10/10/18), we confirmed the address and the rep stated it would definitely be in today.

    Of course by now we're tired of the wait game and asked to speak to the office of the president. The man quickly dismissed this stating he had no such power so we asked for the phone number. Again he stated he could not do that either and we refused to be transferred to another incompetent manager who would just feed us more lies. But of course when I checked my mail I got a few ads, and oh look at that...NO CARD. So this will mark a week and a day without food. Thank you RushCard for starving my family. 10/10. Worst business ever to exist.

    In 2014, a friend of mine mentioned that she knows somebody who had RushCard. It says I can get my funds up to two days early and I had something due that was between that time, so RushCard helped me out. I’m on disability and when I get my check, it’s nearly gone. I learned not to spend and I like that I can lock my card and not lock it. I've used the card for so long and I didn’t get charged. All of a sudden, I started getting charged and when I used my card, I noticed a bank inquiry, which I’ve never done. I called them about that and they said I can use the ATMs at CVS, so that I wouldn’t get charged but I’m still getting charged.

    Now, when I use an ATM anywhere, I get charged for it. I looked up which ones they don’t charge in, and it said Walgreens or CVS. I know I can add money at those places, so I don’t understand getting charged the ATM fee. RushCard was supposed to investigate and go over my account but I’ve not heard any more from them about it and I haven't seen the money being put back. Overall though, I enjoy RushCard and I’m very satisfied. I use their mobile app to pay my bills and it’s very convenient.

    I use RushCard for Amazon all the time as well as for my bills and everything else. I wanted to start putting half of my disability money on one card and half on another, so I got a second RushCard. That way, I can pay my bills and still have a bit of savings. If I have any to save, I can already have it in the second card. For some reason, I was sent a check on my disability this month and I tried to get it deposited so that I could pay bills on the 1st. I didn’t get to do that and I wasn't pleased. The feature where I can take a picture of the check and deposit it doesn't work and Ingo doesn’t have anybody to talk to. If you can’t talk to a person at any time while you’re trying to deposit over $1000, that’s not a good deal.

    I told RushCard Ingo doesn’t work and they shouldn’t use them. The manager got on the phone, apologized, and said they don’t have it set up right yet, but they will. The manager cared enough to talk to me about it and I was pleased. RushCard is great. They're always offering some classes and I would like to get into that, but I don’t have a lot of time to get into it and I haven’t done it yet.

    Last night, my Credit One credit card wouldn’t let me take the money out of my RushCard to pay my bill because I paid it twice. I had extra money and thought I might as well put it on my credit card. I thought they wanted to put two small deposits on it and I got upset at the credit card company. I didn’t understand what was going on and I had to call RushCard so many times the day before yesterday. Their reps work with me on anything. Even if I am gripey, they work with me no matter what and that’s why I like them. Some people will just hang up on you, and they don’t. I can’t understand what some of them are saying and that gets a little irritating, but they work very hard to please. When I get upset about my money, I'm hard to deal with and the reps are very good and sweet.

    I’ve recommended several people to RushCard, but there are a lot of people who don’t know anything about it. They’re leery and I try to tell them that RushCard is very good to work with. I’m also always telling them they need to get RushCard because they really help you out and when you go to an ATM, you can withdraw more than $300. They don’t bother your money and you get to use your money how you want to. If I get a friend to get a RushCard, I can get 30 bucks. They’re a very good card.

    I was told that RushCard's maintenance fees weren't gonna be as large as other debit card providers and that with them, I would get my check a day or two before payday. So, I went with them. As soon as I put the direct deposit in, it took me a week and a half and the money finally went through. I just let the money sit there in the card and that is managing money well. I’m also saving more. I use my card to pay bills or make online purchases and that has been convenient. Plus, everything is coming on the exact day.

    One time, when I used my card for the gas tank, it said that it couldn’t accept debit so it told me to click credit. I clicked credit and it was saying that I withdrew $150 for this gas pump. So, I called Rushcard's customer service and their rep told me that it was because there was a credit and it was the weekend. Then he sent me an email telling me everything went back through the next business day and it did. I've told others to apply with RushCard and I’ve got a couple of friends who did it already.

    I have been with RushCard for 5 years. I have had maybe two incidents. However today had beyond pissed me off and I will be filing a complaint with the FCC. To sum it up I called to dispute a charge and ask specifically should I continue with RushCard or try to contact merchant because I want the quickest process. The rep told me I have to wait until the transactions posted and then mumbled other words that I didn’t understand at all. So after asking to explain process further and not understanding the rep I asked to speak with a supervisor. She placed me on hold and after almost 30 mins I got a sup. I was on the phone with the sup 12 mins and was actively looking at my account and my card was active and fine.

    As I was speaking to sup I was going to get gas went to verify balance and BAM my card is paused. Which if was for security would be fine. However when I asked did he pause the cards he said no and my card wasn’t paused but then went back and said the card was paused by prev rep after I wasn’t speaking to her for 12 mins. I asked was ok for her to go back in my account if I wasn’t speaking to her and should she still be given access to account she should have closed out of her. Started to mumble terms and conditions that I made him read with me and he started to apologize and transferred me to an account manager who at the end of the day couldn’t give me immediate access to my money because what a rep that should have not been in my account anymore did after I had ended the call with her. I’m over it and as soon as I get my money I’ll be closing my account and still perusing my complaints because this is not proper procedure.

    I use RushCard for everything and I started with it in 2009. I do direct deposits through my job and I get paid two days faster than everybody else. Sometimes, when you’re a single mom, week to week, payday to payday, you can’t make it. So, I do have that cushion with them to get my paychecks sooner. You also can't overdraft, which is perfect. Then, sometimes, at the beginning of the year, they waive your fee for two or three months -- it depends. My first card was black and gold and it has M's on it, and I liked it. While credit cards are sideways, RushCard's are up and down so even if somebody tries to get your credit card numbers, they couldn’t because the cards were not the same.

    I have one inconvenience with RushCard, however. I recently don’t have insurance protection so I have transportation issues. If I wanted to get an Uber or Lyft, I won’t be able to do it with RushCard. You have to have a credit or debit card. That kind of sucks because all of my money goes on that card. Then, if I have to deal with customer service, it’s all bad. It doesn't matter what time of day or night you call, you'll never get anyone who speaks English. I hate to have to dispute something. That’s why I downloaded the app on my phone. If I get an alert of my balance, it sends me a text.

    I also hate the ATM fees. If you load this card, sometimes you pay $3.00, sometimes it's $3.95, and something it's up to $5.95. I've been using RushCard for over 10 years, why am I still paying to load the card? If nobody else showed them loyalty, I have. Sometimes there's conflict when you get paid on the 28th and they take out $5.95 on the first and you’re like, “Damn it.” But it’s a benefit. There are a few pluses and minuses. If you take the good with the bad, you’ll be alright. Get a RushCard. It's really convenient. All my friends have it and they got their referral from me.

    Using Rushcard enables me to receive my checks two days earlier than most people do and be able to pay my bills right on time. I've used Ingo and it's pretty cool. With direct deposit, I do everything through autopay, so everything comes out of my check. There was one incident, however, when I found out that a website that I had used to make a resume had been billing my card for $25 a month and I didn't know anything about it until September. I reported this and RushCard has been trying to get everything straightened out to where I would get my money refunded back. RushCard jumps right on if I have an issue and they get it fixed. They're pretty cool with that and I like them. I've had a great experience with them and I've referred a couple people.

    I just want to say that this company has to be the worse company ever. Worse than Bank of America and that's saying something. I have been with RushCard since 2011 and has issues since day one. RushCard has taken money from my account without my permission nor knowledge. And they have held direct deposit money for no apparent reason for more than 10 days that was suppose to go to my account. And now the most recent scenario. I went on lunch from work, I am preparing to make my purchase and my card is declined. I know that there is money on my account because I just got paid. I call Rushcard to find out what's going on and they tell me they noticed fraud. Which is fine. I can understand that. So I asked can they unblock my card so I can make my purchase and they said they can't because of the fraud.

    I start to feel frustrated and asked the representative how long will it be before I will received my new card. He says 7-10 days. I told him I could not wait that long. He says that he can expedite it but it's $35. I told him no. I don't feel as though I should not have to pay that. I never told them to block the card. He put me on hold to talk to his manager for more than 30 minutes without checking back in on me. Then says that they will waive the fee and send me a new card. So I was ok with that. Later I decided to look online to see my new card number and I still had the same number. The guy never processed my request at all. So I called back talk to another guy and he apologizes, thanks me for being with them for so long and says that he would take care of everything. And then the line hangs up.

    I tried calling back for more than 6 hours so I just assumed they were having issues with their phone lines as usual especially when you're having issues with your account. I finally got someone back on the line. Tell him my issue and he says that he will take care of this issue. Puts me on hold and gets a new card number together. Finally ok so that's one. Then he says that he needed to talk to his manager about the fees, so once again I'm on hold for more than 30 minutes. He comes back on the line laughing. I asked what was funny and he waives my question by saying, "Good news. We are able to waive the fees." He says that it could take a couple of days. So I said ok. I got off the phone and a few hours later checked my account. This guy has completely closed my account took my money out and the fees were added on and not taken off. My money is gone and my account is closed.

    I called back and spoke with this time a woman. She again apologizes and says that she will take care of everything. At this point it has been a week now and I still have not received my new card. She says that my new card is on the way and that she put in a request to my account opened and fees removed. Again another week and still nothing. No money, no account, no card. So now I have spoken with an attorney and to look for better results. I am too tired and too frustrated to speak with another rep. They deny me for speaking to a manager or someone in charge. So fair warning about this company. They are crooks and liars. Scratch a lie. Find a thief a saying that has been true for years.

    I get my paychecks two days faster with RushCard. I know for sure that the money is just sitting there until I'm ready to use it and I don't have to worry about a bank or anyone getting it and it's not there. I use it to pay my bills. When I reload cash, I notice that RushCard takes fees from what I put on there. If I reload $100, they take $6 so I only have $94, which messes me up because if I'm loading $100 and I need that for a bill, I now have to load $106 because they'll take $6. If I buy the reload card, that's just a regular $5.

    Also, if I have $5 and used $3.98, I had $1.02 left, and then in a little bit, it's gone. I talked to one lady at RushCard and at first, she tried to blame it on the people that loaded my card. But the people don't charge and I just pay for the prepaid card. She really couldn't explain it to me. Sometimes, the representative doesn't understand what I'm asking for and I gotta keep saying it over again. There's a possible language barrier. But overall it's really a good card.

    Now normally when I return or cancel a order my money's back on my card in three to 5 days but in this particular situation RushCard has yet to release my funds and it’s going on 8 days. Not to mention how do we speak to a live representative???
