The Palms Casino & Resort refunded my money back onto my RushCard 07/20/2017 but rushcard had yet to release it to me. I log onto my account and it continues to read "pending". I tried looking for a number to speak to a customer service rep to resolve this matter but I only get an automatic voice message. It's become very frustrating for me. The hotel said they credited my money back asap and now it all depends on my bank. I would like some answers and/or help with this situation because my money is still out there.

I been with RushCard for years now. I had one problem that wasn't solved but that's most banks. I recommend people who want no overdraft fees to get one and use me as a referral lol. I just wish the referral was $50 instead of $30 but something is always better than nothing.

RushCard customer service is **. They have all these options when you call the customer service # but there is NO option to contact an agent. RushCard you're ** as **! I can't wait to cancel my card. Where the hell is there an option to contact someone for assistance? It's this dumb ** robot that keeps talking about NO OPTION to contact a human. Canceling my card ASAP. If you are looking to apply for this card just keep in mind that you will NOT contact a human on the phone!!! I promise you. It will just be a robot that will keep talking. It's been a week and I have not yet received a PIN and when you ask to speak to a human it will hang up. Poor ** customer service.
Hey Katrin. There is certainly an option to speak with a live agent when calling our customer service line. Also, you will need to set the PIN yourself as you will not receive one for your card. I recently switched over from Wells Fargo to RushCard and so far I am regretting my decision. I have my pay check loaded onto my card however it's been almost 2 weeks and have yet to receive my debit card. I have my wife's surprise party I need to pay for as well as my car note and upcoming travel arrangements and customer service had been NO help. I asked if I can transfer funds to my wife's account or my mom's or provide me with temporary card like Ace does anything being that it been more than enough time to receive it. I was met with silence followed by, "I have to cancel and resend a new card" which I said, "No I at least want to wait 1 more day" and was then asked, "Do I have any other request," before she hung up. I understand they cannot control the mail however it has to be some other practices or options. I sincerely regret my choice if this does not get worked out being that an entire year of planning will be ruined.

I have been a customer of Rushcard since 2011 and I would highly recommend you avoid this company at all costs. I would give them negative stars if given the option. I called to cancel a bill payment and the customer service rep pretended like she could not hear me anymore and hung up on me because she wasn't trained to help me obviously. I call back again, tell them the situation and was assured that The matter would be resolved. The next day I spoke to another customer service rep who then told me they have no record of the stop payment but they would assure me that it would be fixed. They told me I would have the refund within 24 to 48 hours. The next day I called again and was told the same information and I asked to speak with the supervisor named James.
I have never in my whole life dealt with that level of unprofessionalism from a company that I have been a customer of for over five years. James would not listen to a word I had to say. He would speak over me every time I would talk which made matters even worse. We are now on the fourth day and I have yet to see my refund. You get no confirmation number of the transaction taking place therefore I don't even think the customer service reps address the situation at all. They just keep telling me what I want to hear and move onto the next call.
This is my finances that these unprofessional incompetent people are handling and they could care less about me being without. I can't even believe that a place that is FDIC approved can operate like this. This company is a joke and the employees provided the worst customer service to a long-term customer. Please don't make the same mistake I did. They don't care about you as a customer nor do they care about your money.

This letter is in regards to my consumer product AKA my RushCard acct that was attained by myself, via acct # **. On June 12th I contacted your company and advised you of my new address, and to report my RushCard, ending in ** as LOST. I was advised by your associates, to email proof of identity and change of address. I submitted a total of nearly two dozen documents, along with an additional AUTHORIZATION, of my roommate DIANA ** to support stated facts and information on my behalf. Not only did I receive one, but four. Four RushCard case numbers. I was also informed by IRA, a RushCard employee #**, that all my emailed and faxed documents were received and that I needed to include an AUTHORIZATION for DIANA **, who so happens to be my Power of Attorney and roommate. IRA, your employee, also requested a faxed copy of our PG&E utility bill, to help issue and expedite a new card replacement for me.
All of the above was submitted in the past 3weeks, and TODAY re-submitted, because you continue your FRIVOLOUS and DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES. You have received 3 separate SSI Disability check deposits, totaling $2,356.00. Which is hereby recognized as Penal Code - PART 1. OF CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS [25 - 680] ( Part 1 enacted 1872. ) TITLE 13. OF CRIMES AGAINST PROPERTY [450 - 593g] ( Title 13 enacted 1872. )CHAPTER 5. Larceny [484 - 502.9] ( Chapter 5 enacted 1872. ) 490.2. (a). I look forward to resolving this issue, by the end of the business week. Since it is now imperative that I pay my bills and don't end up homeless, because of your NEGLIGENCE and BREACH OF CONTRACT. Please, SO KINDLY- conduct yourself accordingly, or I will be forced to seek remedies in a Calif. Court of Law.

Everything is so "private" with them. They give you tons of options/services to use but do not give any explanations/help for these services. They offer card to card transfers but do not specify only for RushCards. After attempting to send money to my sister's bank account rather than showing information to verify where I was sending money it went off her phone number and transferred funds to a RushCard she never even activated and had thrown away. After both us calling explaining this mistake and being told on several different occasions that I would receive my money back, nothing happened. I have gotten a different response each call as to why I hadn't gotten a refund.
And today they preceded to tell me corporate denied the request and they didn't have to give me an explanation as to why. They claim to not be able to contact corporate personally and there was no number that they could give me. I have been a customer for 10 years and even though they have had problems before it's never been to this extreme to where I am willing to close this account for $20. This liner experience has damaged my trust with them. I can no longer be affiliated. If you want to make a transfer or give someone money, go to Western Union.

Love everything about RushCard. My whole family has one and also loves it! Especially getting paid up to two days earlier. It's much needed. Also my friends are thinking about ordering one too! All I do is brag about how great the card is and now everyone wants one.

I liked the $3.95 fee from RushCard for signing up with them the first time. And I didn't have to keep paying it all over again and I can either have a monthly or day-by-day payment with the offer. Also, the direct deposit is an easy process.

I’ve been with RushCard for ten years. It helped manage my finances and it’s very convenient. I use the reload locations. I just go to Walmart and then they swipe the card and reload it. It's a positive experience overall.

I was looking for a prepaid card. I saw about RushCard on TV and chose it. I use their early direct deposits and I loaded it before too. It's easy to find places to load the card but the only hard thing locating where their ATMs are. A lot of times, I go to the places and the ATMs are not there. Other than that, everything is okay.

RushCard is the best. It helps me out a lot. I love that you get your direct deposit earlier. I would definitely recommend it to a friend. I made a payment thru their bill pay 05/22. I receive an email within a week or so stating my payment was rejected due to an invalid account number and the funds would be back in my account within 3 business days. Money was NOT back in my account so I called RushCard. They now tell me the payment did go thru and is all set. I call the company I made the payment to and they state they do not have the funds, to send a copy of the transaction. RushCard only sends a copy of your statement, they do not have an EFT transaction record so the company I made the payment to cannot trace the payment.
I call RushCard back and they tell me they can reverse the payment, it will take 3/5 business days. It is July 12, and I'm still waiting for almost $600 to be returned to my account! I'm beyond frustrated with this company. The last time I called the reversal had not even been started so I was told they would escalate it and I should be all set within 48 hours. Again I've waited and again no money. Horrible service, horrible company, will be cancelling my account with them if/when this is finally cleared up!

RE Case # **, Case # **, Card # **; NPS purchase on May 9, 2017, billed May 10, 2017 for $63.21. Inquiry regarding Visa buyer protection or other protection on a purchase in which the item presented for sale by NPS, unauthorized dealer, was not the item received. The measurements were clearly different and there was no proof of authenticity, brand, model, instruction manual or warranty to be able to verify through the manufacturer the authenticity of the item, therefore leaving me to believe that I received "defective" or a "knock-off" that was not safe for use or further handling. The seller didn't offer an exchange or refund...
I had emailed RushCard CS Dept at my convenience to ask clear questions regarding important issues concerning the purchase and Visa buyer protection or other protections you can recommend in order to be refunded for the "defective" purchase. I find being placed on hold with Customer Service both inconvenient, stressful, and sometimes impossible for my schedule so I decided to email instead, but despite the several email asking the same questions and clearly explaining the issue at hand, I receive no reply answering the questions I asked. I received automated replies asking me to call for assistance. It's so frustrating. It's the opposite of service. It's aggravation in which the matter remains unresolved due to a lack of competence and proper process.
I even requested that a supervisor handle the reply when I didn't receive a direct answer to the questions asked. Nothing was received in return. The purchase was made on May 9, 2017, and billed on May 10, 2017, in the amount of $51.00 plus $12.21 shipping for a grand total of $63.21. Your assistance is appreciated for a prompt resolution. I was told a few weeks ago that I won an all expense paid trip for 4 to Walt Disney Land in Florida that the trip vouchers would be emailed to me. I never received the email. I was told the same thing again when I called to inquire about it. I still have not received an email with the trip information.

Overall the RushCard is great. I've been using it for a while and have had a great experience so far. Keep up the good work. The only problem I have is the 2.50 atm fee. It's becomes too much when you have a fee from the atm that's a little costly sometime also. But overall the RushCard is a marvelous debit card for future users.

I really like wiring money through RushCard, but their systems are always down so, I have the card as is just in case. I use the reload locations and the process is not hard, but it's the cost that's not good. Also, I can't understand their team and I always get different answers every time I call. If I don't like the answer, all I got to do is hang up, call right back, get another person and I get a totally different answer. Just last week, one lady told me the system was down and it will be back up in an hour but one guy said the system was down for 24 to about 48 hours. My experience has been really bad, but I just can't get a bank account right now. Rushcard should be ashamed.

The customer service support I received with a belligerent hotel merchant helped me to get $54 back into my account that should never have been held. Getting an unauthorized Hotel authorization reversed allowed me to be able to handle some very important business for my children that I wouldn't have otherwise been able to handle. It's very important to me that my bank takes my relationship of 7 years seriously. Thanks.

Card works well to pay my bills, wish that you could load more than $500 at a time. Even works at the gas pump. Nice. Can pay my credit card bills with it. So I don't have to mail my bills. Can load the card at lots of stores so it makes it easy to use. You all should try it. I'm happy.

I just want to say that having this Rushcard has been great. The financial team is working behind the scenes when I am not. Recently an alert was given to me about suspicious activity with my card, immediately blocked it, and resent me a new card within 5 business days. Sure it was a little inconvenient not having my card for a few days, but the financial troubles that they saved me from is far more of a blessing. I recommend Rushcard to everyone from!!

I'm glad that I've been a member for over 5 years. Either plan is good. If you are wanting a prepaid card, Rush is the best one to have. I have had problems back in the day but it was fixed instantly.

Hello. I have been a RushCard customer for a long time. I was getting paid on Fridays but for the past few weeks I have been having to wait until Monday. I am unhappy with the inconvenience & inconsistency. I would much prefer to get paid on Friday. Thanks.
Hey Kerry. Thanks for providing your feedback. Deposit delivery is based on the timing of when your deposit file is received from your employer. Once they send the file, it is typically uploaded within a day or two of the time received. Keep an eye out, RushCard does not hold funds so as soon as they are received they are posted immediately!

But I didn't understand why there are monthly fees because if you keep money on there do you spend it. Or is it a fee of how much you keep on the account. I would recommend it because it is a pay as you go. They have different colors of debit cards.

28 inch flat screen TV (at Walmart) was delivered with fast service and in one piece. My daughter love her birthday present. I have been with RushCard for the past 6 years. Have not had one problem with their service. I recommend this card for anyone who needs a card to add quick money to at any time.

Hi guys. We need a new feature to add funds to our cards. Add funds from an checking account would be perfect. Going to the locations to add funds can be a hassle that's why this feature would be a great choice. Also upgrading to cards with the chip is also nice.

Very pleased with RushCard - been with them since 2011. No major complaints. I am able to pay my bills with ease either thru my checking account info or debit card. It’s worth paying the $7.95 fee monthly especially if you aren't able to have a regular checking account. Customer Service is pleasant and helpful.

I was having trouble with loading money with Green Dot and RUSHCARD customer service was horrible. If you are going to partner with a company you need to at least know the steps to load. Everybody I spoke with transfer me and I wanted to just cancel the card after the experience.

I like the two days in advance pay and also customer service is kind and nice whenever I call. I also like that you have different choices to choose from as far as cards go. I have been a loyal customer but the only thing is I can't load a paycheck on my card. Other than that everything else is fine and ok.

I call 5x 1st time. I'm told, "Wait 5 min, refresh your page and all ok." Did it nothing. Called back. On hold for 91 min. Said, "Call back in 2 hours if not posted." 4 hours later called again. After hold again 90 min, you guys just said, "Hello," and hung up, now I'm pissed. Called back 1/2 hour hold and then they released my money after a whole day and the bill I was to pay around 9 am don't get paid till after 8 pm. Now I have a late charge of 35.00 cause RushCard can't get their ** together. I'm looking into other cards now.

I've been with RushCard for years. I've only had two problems and were handled. I would like to see a little more giveaways or some drawings for customers of 5 years or more. I also like the fact that I receive my money earlier than most banks. I also love not being charged with every swipe.

I called RushCard to request a account statement that I purchase a microwave at Target and Target would not refund my money without a receipt. The representative from RushCard was understanding, courteous and patient. He went out his way with high respect for customers. He was also showed that he had patience with customers and asked me did I need any other assistance. I still did not receive my money back from Target but RushCard is very outstanding.

I have always loved RushCard, but I'm very dissatisfied how I was treated with the refer a friend. I recommended friends. They used my code **. I actually sent money to their card to make sure it went through and it did but neither one of us received anything. So I called repeatedly and the operator I spoke with say they see where it was done and they would let the head person know and I should receive something soon, but we never did. So it makes me feel as if this referral thing is a scam. Y'all just want customers to get with RushCard. That's the only bad experience I had with you all.

I love my RushCard. I have had it for like 5 years. No problem. Even referred friends. Rush is the best prepaid card I think especially when the have their fee blackout. The best feature I get paid 2 days before my co-worker. One thing I hope they would add is SECURE CREDIT CARD.

I have been a RushCard user for the past 5 yrs or more. I find the card very convenient. They keep me informed of all transactions. Also the ability to freeze my card is awesome. It's easy to load money and the customer service is great. Many of my friends and family have it so if we are tight on cash we can transfer to each other. I recommend this card to anyone who doesn't have a bank and need direct deposit. You get your paycheck i.e... Or pension 2 days early.

I have been RushCard customer for a very long time now. Although I do understand that RushCard is a prepaid consumer, however I do believe some long time customers to should be able to receive a $20.00 advance when going through a hard time which RushCard is guaranteed to get their $20.00 back once the money is posted to the customer's account... In March of 2017, I e-mailed you about $40.00 taken from my account because the ATM Machine didn't have any money in it. It was still taken out of my account, but I never got and RushCard never reimbursed me. Also, in June of 2017 the same thing happened and I still don't have my money back in my account. I have been with RushCard since 2010... As soon as I get another job, I will be closing my account with you and will never recommend you to any of my friends. Very disappointed.

I get my direct deposits early and the fees are reasonable. It is a great way to bank. My wife and I both use the cards, which makes it really easy to transfer money back and forth in 15 minutes. I like the access to certain ATMs free of charge as well.

I would very much like to be picked to revive my pay two days sooner.. When I did a direct deposit with my job I was on the impression that I will be able to get my paycheck two days sooner and that was not the case. A representative said that you have to be chosen but I've been a member since 2008 and I would really like to receive my pay 2 days early once I restart my direct deposit.
Hello Kareensa. With RushCard, direct deposits can arrive up to 2 days early dependent on when your deposit file is received. This timing is dictated by your employer and the actual release date of the deposit. Note that we do not hold funds and will upload them as soon as the funds are received.

I have been a RushCard member since 2013. And I have referred several people and they are as satisfied as I am to have become a member. The customer service is always amazing, quick and straight to the point. And the perks are great like for example, getting my direct deposit early. RushCard has been a mostly great service. I do wish however, that the numbers on the card were raised instead of being painted on. Mine have rubbed off completely and it makes it difficult to use when calling for pizza or trying to shop online. Also, a rep isn't always readily available.

I've had the card for almost 7 years now, honestly I love it! Flat monthly fee, I can use the card everywhere, I get my direct deposits two days early, I don't have to worry about overdrafts or overdraft fees. I almost never call customer service because the app is so helpful and accurate. Even the one time I had to dispute a transaction it was simple and fast. l love my RushCard... the only thing I wish it could do is link to Apple Pay.

Since using RushCard I have never been happier. I am kept updated with every transaction that occurs even if I'm not using it. I love to be in the loop when it comes to my funds. And if I have a dispute about a purchase that I didn't make the problem is fixed just as fast as I made the claim.

I have been a Rushcard member for years and even recommended a couple of people join. I remember back in the days rushcard used to give money back of fees. I stop using the card so much because the dollar every transaction is becoming ridiculous. I think it’s not fair to use your card if you are below the dollar fees.

All of the reps I've spoken to have very kind and helpful anytime I had an issue. My direct deposit doesn't always come on on time. Which is definitely a problem. However, they have done everything in their power to fix this problem. And I appreciate that.

Card not working at a particular store. The customer representative was very helpful and informative with my problem. She was patient and made sure she clearly understood what my issue was and proceeded to rectify the issue. I was very pleased with my response from the customer representative and would definitely recommend the RUSHcard to my family and friends.

I have been a Rushcard member for at least 10 years and I have never had a problem. The only issue is my card can't be used for certain purchases like from QVC or HSN. I would like a little more accessibility with these type companies. Thank you.

Helping get an new card. Because some company kept taking money off my card without my approval. But only thing I didn't like is I had to pay for an new card. That part sucks. Because it wasn't my fault that an company was stealing money from me.

The person that got me was wonderful. They were accurate and helping me. They answered all my questions. And yes I would recommend someone to Rush Card. I think I've been with RushCard for about 3 or 4 years. Every time I call they treat me with respect. They listen to my questions. When I'm done they comment. The app is very helpful and accessible. Notifications are on point. There are no issues. I am able to access my funds without issue. I am able to withdraw money at the ATM if necessary. I receive my direct deposit on time. I am happy with the service that Rushcard provides.

My card was lost and I never received a refund. They promised me a credit and still haven't received it. Which I sent the form in to they but they said they never received the form so now I can't get the promotional credit. Now I have to wait for 90 days for full investigation. Which I don't think that's fair.

I have been very pleased with RushCard. It has taught me a lot of discipline when it comes to budgeting my money. I'm not too fond of the monthly fee and I think the rate for check cashing is a little high, but overall it's a great card.

I been with Rush since 2012. My card was stolen... on June 28, 2017 and 29th... I kept calling Rush to report my card. I was left on hold for an hour. Then I hung up and called back. It said, "Called back because reps are unavailable". That went on for 2 days. I couldn't report my card. Then I paused my card. And they kept being able to purchase stuff with my card even though I paused it. Then finally I got thru Rush phone line. They tell me they were updating the system.
Now I told them I had been calling to report my card stolen. And I paused my card and it still was being used. Then I told them. I even emailed them cause I couldn't get thru... So they tell me it be 10 days before they get back with me. It's past ten days. Now they say 30 to 90 days. ** Rush don't want to refund my account. And you know why it's not a real bank. So they lie to customers and keep repeating they're investigating and be patient. But they **. They know damn well they not returning **. I been paying 5.95 a month for what... When you as customers are not protected when your card is stolen and unauthorized use of my card been done. BEWARE. GO TO REAL BANK...

I had RushCard for many years. It was okay and I got my paycheck two days earlier. Plus, it was easy to use the direct deposit option, but I stopped using the card in toto because they weren't able to commit to the promo ad they had going. They said they were going to give $30 if you load over $3,000, but their team made it seem like it wasn't a promotion. They kept saying that they couldn't find the ad, but I know for a fact that it was an ad.

On last Saturday 06/30/2017 Baymont Inn and Suites charged my card of 144.00. It was done by mistake and they released my funds back to my RushCard. I called RushCard and they told me they needed documentation from the hotel. The hotel sent them two different documents so that my money would be released. RushCard was called and they said they received the documents. Here it is another Saturday and they still will not release my funds. My rent is late due to RushCard poor customer service.
I have been calling for a week and they still wont release my money that I work hard for. Just got off the phone with hotel and RushCard. They are making the hotel send them additional documents. All I want them to do is release my money. I want to find a lawyer because what they are doing is not right and they keep giving me the runaround. I have been a member since 2008 and I will no longer deal with RushCard once my money is put back on my card.

My experience with RushCard has been convenient and skeptical. I chose them in order to eliminate charges for available funds. I also check my balance and look forward to the two-day pre-pay, and use their direct deposit. However, a part of me is concerned about fraud and the people who are retrieving records of my online purchases. Also, recently, I have called their customer service because they have evaded my e-mails, and the way they have set up their automated system does not give me the option to talk to somebody directly.

This morning I used my RushCard to buy 15 dollars worth of gas. I paid at the pump as I always have. Within a few moments I get a text that I was charged 50! Of course I call and first of all it's near impossible to get someone on the phone and when I did finally get a human being they blamed the merchant. I call the merchant. I have receipts only charged 15 so RUSHCARD put a hold on my account and will not release the overcharge to me. Please explain how they are allowed to take and hold funds that you loaded onto your card yourself??? Then make you jump through hoops just to have your money back!
Last time I had a cancelled order from Amazon which I was never charged for and RushCard held my money for over 30 days and would not release my funds. AMAZON DID NOT CHARGE ME SO WHY DID RUSHCARD?? This place is horrible. The representatives do not care about helping you resolve your issues. They blame everyone else and you virtually get nowhere at all. This is unfair and unjust. Do NOT get this card!!!

I was with a sales company and they had told us the way for us to get our money quickly was through Rushcard. We got one through our company and I get my direct deposit two days earlier. Plus, I use it to pay online bills and make online purchases, and it works pretty good. I also load money on it and there's a lot of load locations that are close to me, one right around the corner if I walk out my door, but the fee is high. It's almost $4 to load the card at the stores so I don't use that option from a lot of stores. I just wait until my direct deposit hits.
One time, I had called to get them to send me a card and that took them nearly a month for me to get it until I called back. I was quite upset and the rep got the card to me within five days. Another thing that I do not like is they charge $1 every time I use their card. I find that unfair. If one day I'll only have $2 to my name and it's hot outside and I need a Gatorade, then I'm not going to get that Gatorade. Rushcard has given me a good thing by giving my money to me two days earlier, but there are a lot of other debit cards that would do that, too. I would love for Rushcard to say, "Hey, this guy has been with us 12 years. We shouldn't charge him $1 every transaction."

I had NetSpend before and every time that I call and check my balance, they were taking so much money on my account and I didn't like that. That's not the case with RushCard and I've been with them for seven years. I got my money quicker with them too so that's a plus there as well. But when I tried calling them, nobody's ever available. And when I get low on cash, I can't get a loan from RushCard unlike NetSpend where I used to loan $20 if I don't have any cash for groceries or books. RushCard is also inconvenient to use in paying bills or making purchases online because I want to use my Apple setting to do it and I can't. But reloading the card through direct deposit is very convenient.

I've been a RC customer for several years. Recently had a few hiccups with account. Called about money disappearing in account and was advised that I had overdrawn. Overdrawn on a prepaid debit card? Even I tried to explain how ridiculous that sounded. The supervisor shrugged it off. I advised that I would take my business elsewhere and he responded with ok. I couldn't believe it. Goodbye RC.

I've been a member of RushCard for many years. It's accessible and I like their fees. It's also super convenient to reload. I use it for my direct deposit too so that's a perk and I'm able to use the app and keep track of the money. I use the card to pay for everything but when I'm calling them about something it's hard to get through. I have to go through prompts and when I'm trying to reach customer service, the phone hangs up on me if I touch the wrong number on the pad. It's not easy to get and talk to a live agent and that frustrates me.

I had considerable health problems and I had recently broken my back and the convenience of being able to handle my business with RushCard was a great help. I use the person behind the counter when I load money and there's a reload location right around the corner from where I am. I have some gripes too about Rushcard. When I've had my card compromised, this new thing they have where you can't talk to a person is really aggravating, it had me considering changing because when they told me about the debit, I asked them for the name and the phone number. But when I called, the phone number doesn't exist. And I can't talk to a real person and they've cut it down to just recordings. When I need somebody to help me get my money back in three days, I don't need a recording telling me to push a button if I want to send a form and that it would take 60 to 90 days.
Then they froze the card that was compromised, but they didn't transfer the balance that I had and then they sent me a new one. I've had that happen over and over and they never transferred the balance whenever I've had a card compromised. I'd like someone to address that and send me the money that remained on the card that was compromised. They're taking money every time I make a transaction and I'm not getting service from my bank.

The process for RushCard's direct deposit is very easy and convenient for me. I've set it up at my job. I only changed my card two different times. And I do not have to go in and make any changes. I also use RushCard sometimes to make online purchases. And the greatest benefit is getting my paychecks a few days early. Another is that I have enjoyed the relationship with them. I haven’t had any bad experience. So even though I have a card through my bank now, I still keep my RushCard because of those conveniences. However, one time, I have called them about a charge that's on my card. But then I realized that it was a valid charge after I got off the phone with them. However, they actually kept the card out and I was a little unhappy about that. Nevertheless, it's a great experience with RushCard.

My current employer for some reason only uses an employee ID instead of a name for direct deposits. With that being said, they rejected my direct deposit without contacting me to try to correct the mistake. It's the 4th of July weekend and I had plans and most importantly bills to pay and now it's going to take 3 to 5 business days just for my employer to get it back. Mind you that it's Friday now. My holiday weekend is ruined because of this.
I've been a customer of RushCard for over a decade. I've dealt with late deposits, unfair fees and that complete loss of access to my money during that transition from one process to another that affected millions of people, and yet I stayed. I refuse to deal with this anymore and will be closing my account. They lost a very loyal customer. Now me and my family will be just sitting here looking stupid for the holiday. Thanks RushCard!!!

This company has stolen $450 from me. I paid a bill using their bill pay service but my creditor did not accept the payment and returned it to them. They have acknowledged that they received the funds back at their processing center but refuse to return it to my account. They will no longer respond to my emails or messages on their Facebook page. I have tried calling but their representatives barely speak English and are of no help. I decided to use this company because I am already in a difficult financial situation and was unable to get a regular bank account but all they have done is made my situation worse. Horrible!

My card was compromised. So as I waited patiently for my card to come in the mail a direct deposit hits. After being a customer for 9 years I'm told there is no way to retrieve my funds. The only 2 options consist of paying out at least $30 so that I can retrieve my funds. It sucks!!!! So my money is just sitting there and I can't get gas, food etc. Even after the lawsuit I still gave them the benefit of my doubts. I'm done with Rush Card and their inconvenient services. It was great while it lasted. But I really need to consider a financial card with more convenience. Oh! And one more thing. The maintenance service... they will remind you of the service date and days later they are still having technical difficulties. The IVR hangs up on you and you're on hold for at least an hour. Russel Simmons needs to do better!!!

I've had my RushCard since 2002. I use direct deposit with my card and it's an easy process. I am able to find a reload location at Walgreens. Using RushCard for online purchases has been good, as well. However, there's one time that I had an incident with the ATM, but RushCard gave my money back. However, they charge me with ATM fees and not all bills online accept RushCard. But the process of paying bills with it is good because they do auto pay so I don't have to worry about it and I always get an alert when they take out money. I will recommend RushCard to a friend.

Will the update affect my direct deposit, and when are my direct deposits be consistent. Some weeks I get it at 12pm and the next week I get it at 9:30pm. I have to wait all day for my deposit. Website is always down and it's hard to get a person on the phone. I will never refer anyone to RushCard! When you're on a fixed income and have to wait until everything is closed it gets very upsetting.

I'm very disappointed in RushCard. They have taken my money and not returned it and no is helping or even concerned. I did a card to card transfer of $249.42 and it failed but never went back to the original card that it came from. I called maybe 50 times and they say "Don't worry. Allow 48 hours and you will see it." Well it's been 6 days and still no money. Everybody keeps saying back office will fix it but I need to pay my bills. I'm very frustrated. I've never had this type of issue ever with them. The upsetting part is no one is even concerned. I asked for a supervisor and they say well they are going to tell you the same thing. Really please put them on because this crazy. Still no one gets the phone and help. What do I do. I'm calling again now they say sorry we are overwhelmed with calls please try again later. This is some crazy mess.

I've been with Rush since 2006 and I like them mostly for the advance pay. Also, the fee is cheaper than paying the bank fees. I can make purchases with RushCard and I've been able to use it to pay more bills on time, but it's still hard because most people don't accept it. I use direct deposit and it's very convenient. However, calling customer service is not clear and not easy. It's a hassle and there's no way to get in contact with the customer service agent to help so I have to go through as far as disputing a transaction. Moreover, I referred friends before and I didn't get my referral fee. Still, it has been a very convenient process for me so it's a great experience.

I had a direct deposit of 1642 June 21, 2017. I made three purchases that day. Keep in mind I have the RushCard app to keep track of my balances and transactions. So the next morning I woke up to go to the bank to withdraw 540 off my account. The bank teller tells me my transaction was declined. I said I never had this problem so I checked my phone and seen I had 36 dollars left on my card. SMMFH.
I instantly called RushCard to notify them that there were unauthorized transactions on my account. RushCard simply explained because the unauthorized transactions were still pending that they couldn't stop the transactions. That I will have to wait until the transactions clear then call RushCard back to make a dispute. RushCard keeps telling me I will receive a credit on or before July 6 2017. I have bills that needs to be paid before July 6th. They won't give me a corporate number. They won't connect me to the dispute department. Nothing at all. I'm beyond pissed.

I’ve been with RushCard for almost 10 years now. They have less fees and the card can be used at various locations like a regular credit card and at various ATMs within 5 or 10 miles for free. Though a lot of companies offer similar benefits now and RushCard don’t have loyalty opportunities nor membership offers, I still find it convenient to be with RushCard. It’s easy to use. Direct deposit is easy and fast too. I’ve used RushCard to pay bills and purchase online as well. However, I have ran across issues in dealing with bills that would not allow me to use the card. There were companies that wanted me to do a check type or ACH option. I haven't been able to use the ACH feature at many places because RushCard is prepaid type, but about 75% of the places where I've used the ACH feature or withdraw feature, it has worked.
Another issue that I ran across with RushCard was their customer service. It's hard to get an actual person. It would take me two or three calls before I get somebody. You have to go through some hoops to jump through. But if you're tech savvy, you can figure it out and get a person in no time. I figured out a way how to get them within five minutes. But other than that, I found stuff online that would lead me in the right direction. There’s a lot of competition for RushCard now. A person can get another card, like a Netspend, and get the same type of things with it. When people would ask me about prepaid cards, I usually tell them to check out numerous ones, but I still recommend RushCard. I've also used Netspend and a couple of other cards, but I stuck with Rushcard throughout the whole ordeal.

I am so fed up with RushCard! I think I'm going to just go over to NetSpend! RushCard outsources to the Philippines and I'm not sure if they do anywhere else. My point being when you call customer service there they have the script they read from. No matter what questions you posed they read that damn script. When I asked for supervisors I'm put on hold forever or they tell me there are none or they have to wait for one or they just plan hang up after arguing with me! I want to know why these people are not properly trained. Why there are no supervisors why none of the questions I asked have ever been answered!
It's been my experience that because we don't have bank accounts for whatever reason RushCard thinks they can treat people however they wish because there aren't other options! I'm at a point where I'm going to call my cousin who works at L&I and also the Bureau of Better Business! If I continue to have problems I'll do everything in my power to have them shut down! I have family members that still work at City Hall. Most of the them have been there since the seventies so they have a lot of connections. I don't like doing stuff like that because I don't get along with my biological family, but hey desperate times call for desperate measures! I'm sick of the same problems day after day year after year I'm with RushCard! This is an awful company!

I’ve had my Rushcard for 10 years and it has been reliable. With Rushcard I can manage my money and be responsible. With it, I don’t see the money. I know it's on the card, but I won't spend it all. Whereas when I have money on hand, I'll probably spend it. I use the card to pay my bills and make online purchases, which is convenient. I had Rushcard for so long, I can store that card into the file, and it's only a click away.
Using reload locations is better than direct deposits because there are more places now. Besides, the fee that they charge is $4. But I've been using direct deposit because it's more convenient, and I get the money a couple of days earlier. I rarely call customer service unless I'm locked out of my password. But when I had to call, the problems have been resolved. Having Rushcard is a good way to keep up with your finances, and it's a great way to help you save. It makes life easier on my end. It is a good program and service.

On June 16, 2017 I went into my bank the BBT of Easley SC to make a card advance. The lady at the bank put in the wrong address. RushCard declined, the bank voided me, gave me receipt and then said they release in 24 hours. 24 hours I called RushCard who told me the bank was wrong it will take 3 business days. 3 business days later I called RushCard back. They said, "Sorry 5 business days". After 5 business days I called RushCard back they said previous agents lied that it take 10 business days. I asked for a manager. The agent said none was available he'll search for one. I was on hold 2 hours then a manager came on, told me nothing they could do. She couldn't give me a corporate number and I'd have to be patient. Call back in another 10 days, if not resolved they would escalate, so that's 15 days to a refund back on my card.
I asked her so what if the date she giving is wrong just like the 3 previous dates. What to do. She said call back, then she hung up. I just want my money. I have already stopped my direct deposit and filed this BBB complaint. Next up I may have to contact a lawyer. This is ridiculous. Update as of 6/26/17: I called back and was told by different manager after a 1 hour hold told me it was already released. It wasn't. Checked it while on phone with her, she said sorry and hung up on me. What do I have to do to get my money back? I have no choice but to contact a lawyer now. I just filled out this complaint with the BBB, Consumer Affairs, and RushCard and its parent companies which are Green Dot, and UniRush Financial Services.

I have a complaint. I had 30 dollars taken from my account on Dec. towards the end of the month for quick cash. I couldn't get my money off my card when I had to the end of the month to get it off my card that was expiring on the 31 of the month. I requested if I could get my 30 dollars back because I feel that I should have not been charged the first place. I was told by customer service that they can help me. I've had RushCard for over two years. I like that I am getting direct deposit and I don't get charged any maintenance fees. I also use RushCard to pay my bills. I just made a deposit for my life insurance fee and it was easy. I'm always satisfied with the customer service. I've had no problem with RushCard and I recommend them.

I've been with RushCard for more than 10 years. The card design is cute and I like it. It is convenient to use when buying things that I have not been able to save too much. Direct deposit is great and comes two days earlier so I also like it. The bill pay and online purchases are great and easy. I used the reload thing at Walgreens when I was out of town and it was good and convenient since there's Walgreens everywhere. I have had some transactions on my card that were not authorized so I had to call RushCard a couple of times and it was a slow process and didn't like some of it. They did not give me my money back because of the timeframe since some of the transactions were over 60 days when I noticed it and I was irritated. But, other than that, it was pretty good and I will recommend them.

I've been a RushCard member for 7+ years. Customer service is good. I really enjoy receiving my paycheck 2 days faster. Although I have a traditional checking account, I always use my RushCard. My concern is why I'm not winning any of these fabulous prizes for I use my card all the time.

I don’t like banks freezing my account so I don’t shop with banks. With RushCard, I can pay my bills easily when I get my direct deposit. I set up my payment online. The team at RushCard is sometimes good and sometimes not though. I can't understand some of them and that irritates me because I keep having to repeat myself or they don’t understand what I'm saying so I have to say my question in a different way. Also, when they take a dollar at the end of the month, they give us so much money back, but they stopped doing that. Nevertheless, it's been a good experience with RushCard.

I filed a dispute on 4/6/2017! I have called several times asking about a update! They are not willing to tell me anything! I asked to speak to a supervisor they refused! They either say they can't find one or call back later! I have been with them since April 2009! I'm currently contacting the BBB & also looking into a lawyer! These people are thieves! A co-worker had told me about RushCard, and I've had it since 2008. It's very convenient and I like it. I use it for my payroll and pay all of my bills online with it. Everything is on the card if I need to backtrack anything. I hold on to my money a lot longer when it is on the card. I keep a spare of money all the time. I have no problem with Rushcard and they always put a couple of dollars back on the card if we use too many ATMs. Also, their customer service team fixed the problem that I had. They're very good. I have gotten over 10 people to join RushCard.

I love this prepaid card. It has a monthly minimal few with no per transaction charge, or a dollar per transaction with a 10 dollar max fee. It is very easy to load. So much better than a traditional bank. And no overdraft fees to worry about.

I am very pissed off. I have been trying to get my money back from Rushcard for 3 1/2 months now. I disputed 2 transactions and they added two others that were not supposed to be on there. As a result of that, the bank took the money from my light bill company (I paid the light bill with the card). So my lights got turned off as a result of someone not listening and doing what they wanted to do with my money. The representative told me to cancel the dispute with the light bill company, and I did. She also said that the money would be returned to the merchant. That was almost two months ago. So I call back and they tell me that the dispute was never canceled and that I needed to cancel and send in picture ID and the transactions that I wanted to cancel and the reason why. I did that and now I still haven't heard from anyone with Rushcard.
As of now I must say that this is the worst prepaid company ever. I could see if it was the company's money but this is my money I work hard for every day. I will not allow anyone to play with it. I will seek further actions if no one reaches out to get my money back to me or back to the merchant. I am really pissed right now. And the fact that I get told something different every time I talk to them is just adding fuel to the fire. This is so unprofessional!!!

I would not recommend RushCard to my WORST enemy! I have had it just a year and cannot count how many times my money is held up! Recently my recurring purchase to Amazon was declined, but the money is "pending" for more than 10 days now! Today I found out my card is blocked, no phone call, text, email or warning. Just blocked. 1 day before my direct deposit. All I'm being told is "sorry". Oh and I can pay $30 to expedite a card. My late fees because of this total an excess of 350 dollars and you want 30 more? Russell Simmons you should be personally ashamed treating low income, trusting consumers like this. Oh yea and the block is because some fake company "ACD" tried to charge ONE dollar!!!!

Only thing is... customer service hasn't answered my email in 3 days. But I've gotten 2 a day to review RushCard. But that's only about a new card. I highly recommend them to anyone.

I can pay my bills online and over the phone with my RushCard without actually having to go in the store. But I juggle my money between two cards because I find that the PayPal card is cheaper to use as far as making purchases. Every time I use the RushCard they charge me an extra dollar but with the PayPal card, I pay $4 at the beginning of the month and that covers me for the whole month. So what I do is I get my direct deposit on my RushCard which is convenient, then I take my money out of there and put it on my other card as I spend like that.
So far, RushCard has been interesting to use. When I called in with a problem, the reps were reading to me off of a script. They didn't, by any means, deviate from the script and they couldn't help me. I had to get irate and tell them to get the supervisor on the phone. It eventually got resolved but it sounded like the same people that work for the call center in MetroPCS are the same people at RushCard. I don't understand anything they say. They don't speak good English and the communication is bad.

I have had Rushcard for almost two years. I recently had an issue that required a dispute. I sent in the information as requested within a couple of days. I called several times to ensure receipt and each time I was informed that my information was on file. After nearly a month of no resolve I requested a supervisor. Initially, I was told there's no sup available to assist and they would escalate my issue. After getting the run around for a week or more I finally was able to speak with a sup. The sup informed me that my information was not received although 7 reps prior to her said they were able to see it. The supervisor continued speaking in a condescending, rude tone. My issue is still currently unresolved. I have emailed and called to no avail. I will not continue using their services and I urge others to follow suit.

I Love RushCard. Every time I call customer service they get the job done for whatever I'm calling about. They answer the phone at a reasonable time and when I needed a new card with a different number they had no problem helping me with that. So I'm a happy customer.

I like my RushCard. I feel they should a 20.00 dollars over limit, cause sometimes people fall short from pay day to pay day. In 24 hours if their account is still in the negative, charge a 15 dollars overlimit charge.

I love RushCard and I've been a loyal customer for 9 years and the only thing I would say is they need to have more incentives for existing customers. I also love that I get paid 2 days earlier. Sometimes I don't receive my texts when I get a deposit but that's not a big issue for me.

I used my RushCard on my recent vacation to Seattle instead of cash and it was accepted everywhere I went... It is much safer where in unfamiliar places, someone might take advantage of your person if you are flashing cash all the time... I signed up for a RUSH Card account several weeks ago, got my card, activated it and loaded it and received $30.00. I have referred RushCard to a friend... She received her card... (She forgot to call right away for the refer a friend code, but she did do it...) Activated it and loaded it... She did NOT get 30.00 and neither did I. She has called customer service many times about this and they say it is too late because she did not call first to ask for code and some other stuff... I feel this is wrong. I couldn't have picked better card. Loading money is easy and convenient. I love that it has the pause option in case my card becomes lost or stolen. Everything about this card is great. I will be recommending this card to all my friends and family.

The service has been great so far. I haven't had issues with my card or account. I use the goals a lot and the auto transfer is helpful. I can transfer money back as needed and that transfer is available right away.

It wouldn't be so bad if when you call customer service you get a live person who can actually assist you with what's wrong. I called several times about my account log in information. Well one of the reps gives me my security questions and the answers. I called another time and this time the rep couldn't answer any of my questions because either she couldn't understand me clearly or she just didn't know the answer. She puts me on hold only to come back and tell me she doesn't have a manager that can speak with me. Ok! Ok! I have had enough.

I've called so many times and I've been told over and over that I would receive my refund and I still haven't received it. I was told I would get it on June 13 and when it came I was told to wait 24 to 48 hours. Waited and still never got it. I called and they said it will be in my account today and it's still not there. I'm not happy with my RushCard at all!!!

I hate RushCard... They have the worst customer service. They are rude, they leave you on hold and when you ask for a supervisor or manager they refuse. Whenever you have an escalated issue... and expect a callback... you never get a callback... and your issue never gets resolved. You can't understand nothing the reps say and they treat you like it's not their company and they don't value Russel Simmons' customers at all!

The agents don't give any amount empathy. I've been with RushCard since 2014 that doesn't mean a thing to the company. I am looking for someone other than RushCard to do my banking with. I hate RushCard. The company doesn't care about the consumer. They think it's OK to do the customer any type of way. Don't bank with them.

It took 12 days to receive a new card and I had to pay 30 bucks. I am done with RushCard. Everyone that I have spoken to does not speak English very well. :( I have been a customer for a long time and I am going to leave them because the customer service is not good at all.

Well, Rushcard promises you'll get your pay 2 days earlier. I get paid Fridays, deposit should be in on Wed at a reasonable TIME. My pay is deposited @ 9:30a, 12:30p, 5:30p and here lately @11:30p EST on Wed. When I call they say they have "no pending credits/deposits" but w/in 10 minutes of hanging up, my account mysteriously gets my paycheck deposited. Please be consistent when it comes to handling my "livelihood". This isn't fair at all when I'm expecting my pay to be there at a certain time of day and its not! I've talked to HR at my job and it's deposited the same time every week but Rushcard decides to HOLD it for no reason! May have to change my direct deposit to another company. It's getting ridiculous.

In the end, this company charged me for shipment of a new card so that I could access my money. They disabled my card due to a security breach on their end and charged me to ship a new one express... And this was the second time. I'm done with this company.

I have never had any problems with my card that weren't resolved quickly. I love that I get my paycheck 2 days early. Have recommended the Rushcard to all my friends and family. I tried other cards but came back to my Rushcard. I love the convenience and that I never get overdraft charges.

I referred two friends and didn't get anything and also called customer service so that's false advertising. Then the customer service rep said that promotion was over but how was it over if my friend applied the same day I got the email? RushCard... As a member I have no problems yet, everything working just fine for me. I'm in control on how I place mine money with two account that I have where I can transfer $ from one card to another. I also don't have to worry about anyone getting into my main account that my direct deposit goes. Transfer money to one card to another (I'm In Control). Thanks RUSHCARD.

I work for the railroad and was using Rush since 2009... So after sooo many years with them I wake up to see if my check is on there to find they decide to closed my account talking about high risk. I ask "What high risk? That amount of money I make and put on my card or how much I swipe my card?" No one could tell me ANYTHING but it was a corporate decision... Now I been with them since 2009. NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN MY CARD HAS BECOME A HIGH RISK 2017. I BELIEVE THAT TO BE B.S. I WAS NOW PISSED that I have to do a different direct deposit because my check got sent back because of Rush bull... So now I'm waiting on a check from Rush with the money that was IN MY ACCOUNT ALREADY??? Pissed would be an understatement.

You charge a fee for everything. You have taken $20 plus dollars of my hard earn money in fees alone. $2.50 is a lot. You need to put some of that back in my account. I wont be using RushCard much longer.

I love my RushCard and get paid a day before my friends. LOL. It's cool and the monthly payment is not a lot. I'm learning how to use it at stores now. I wish the rate for use the atm wasn't so high but hey. And you guys need to put chips on the new cards to keep up.

I love my RushCard and the benefits of it! I love getting paid 2 days early. I love only paying 5.99 a month and not being charged extra fees every time I swipe my card. I can always call customer service if I ever have an issue or even just want to know if I have deposit pending. I have an bank account also but 75% of my check goes onto my RushCard. I've been a member of RushCard since 2012.

Wow...I have been with RushCard through the good, the bad, and the Ugly...for well over 14 years. The Good part being that RushCard has always been there for me during my 'Bad' & my 'Ugly' days. Receiving my money in an excellent timely fashion for so many years has actually helped me stay out of debt. The Ugly part would be when my card was lost or stolen and I would call customer service crying...(literally) and the voice on the other end of the phone would calm me and help me avoid being scammed and shut everything down for my good. The only problem I have is understanding some of the customer service agents. It can be difficult to understand them which causes confusion during the phone call. I had an incident where the agent was unable to help me so she placed me on hold and left me there. It was 15 minutes before someone came back on the line.

The RushCard is convenient and manageable. The RushCard helps me manage my money and I like the fact that it has no overdraft fees. I also like the RushCard online services and free MoneyPass ATM's. I don't like when I need to call customer service because you can barely hear them.

I had a double charge. Customer service representative was no help at all. Still end up paying the double charge. There's like no point of calling customer service. When you call in they tell you the same information you already know. Only thing customer service good for is replacing your card.

When I speak with them it seems like they feel what I'm going through but frankly and being honest I don't have to speak with them that often just for a replacement card or something minor change of address. I enjoy having RushCard as my primary means of funds. I'm able to receive my direct deposit a few day early and have easy access to reviewing my transactions. Only one issue in the past and it was resolved with the company as well as having service fee charges discontinued for a couple of months.

I enjoy the ease and accuracy of utilizing my RushCard. There is NEVER a hold placed because my funds are immediately made available! I cannot overspend because I only have access to cash on hand. I recently had to get a card reissue to me because it was gonna expire and one was never sent to me. I had to call and you guys said it was 30 dollars but it would be put right back in my account. I called back 3 times or more and you still have not put the 30 back in my account. Not a happy customer anymore. Let's see what can be done since you Care about customers.
