    RushCard is not like everybody else. Whatever you put on your card belongs to you, especially if you do unlimited. With other companies, even if you do unlimited, they still charge you stuff. Your money is your money, and that’s a beautiful thing with RushCard. You sign up for text alerts and you also get emails. You can also go online or call them and they can give you the exact time your money hits your card, so you know exactly what time to expect it. With other cards, I would get my money one week at 9:00 in the morning, then the following week, it would come at 10:00, and the time keeps changing. If you get paid 24 times, each time it’s gonna be different ‘cause there are 24 hours in a day and that’s ridiculous. RushCard is more consistent and they have a very good understanding about things pertaining to you.

    They also litigate for me better than the other cards. With other cards, people will say you have to wait. There’s a 30-day hold on your money even though you didn’t get the product. RushCard doesn’t do that. They literally call the people. The online process is very convenient and not complicated at all. My son understands it, and he has understood it for a while because I have two cards and I gave the other one to him. At that time when I gave it to him, he was 14.

    I used to use the direct deposit option, but now I have a problem with it because RushCard only gives us a limit. With that limit, I was having a problem with actual banks. I went to the bank and I took out my money. It was about $9,000 and I was only allowed to put $950 on. So, they said I had to come back the next day. I came back the next day and I couldn’t get any more on it. I had to buy a money order to hold my money. Nevertheless, when they answer the phone, they're like, “What can I do to make your day greater?” They’ve always been very understanding and they're not disrespectful like some people. When they were updating their system a couple of years ago, they messed up people’s accounts. They fixed it, but they also gave restitution after that which they didn't have to do but they did. I’ve referred so many people to them because it's awesome.

    I was at work Friday and realized that I got a text message from the RushCard app. It said that someone had made a purchase for Saturday so when I checked it I immediately called the number to explain that it was not me. Instead of them listening to what I said they automatically accuse me of giving the card information to someone else. First of all how can you overdraft a card with no money on it in the first place. They use so many different accusatory words about $50 that I have no idea about where it went. What I do know is I want my money back. I want my money now. I can't wait 7 days for a card that's supposed to have that type of protection on it and it doesn't.

    I am going to find a real bank account that has overdraft protection because obviously they don't give a ** about protecting my money so instead of trying to figure out what happened, the card never left my wallet, I never gave anyone my information on the card, and some of them constantly tell me that I'm under investigation as if I stole 50 ** dollars and it's over $800 on a ** card from my job. I want my ** money. I hate this ** company is a piece of ** and everybody speaks a different language. Can I please get some English-speaking ** to tell me what the ** my ** money is?

    I'm extremely irritated and I want to punch somebody in the face so until I get my money I'm going to continue to hate this company. I would never recommend this to anybody 'cause they don't care if I have rent to pay, they don't care if I have to pay my electric bill, they don't give a ** about anything but themselves. I hate this company and I want my money now. This company is a piece of ** and I want my money now.

    I get the bonus for the Refer-a-Friend, and the direct deposit usually comes several days early. Setting the direct deposit was extremely easy. Also, I could transfer money easily or cheaply to friends with the same card. Everywhere accepts it and it’s very convenient. It is easy to find reload locations, too. Customer service is very pleasant and very helpful. They know how to address what my problem is. I have only ran into a couple of problems and they were very quick to address and fix them. I really like Rushcard. I'm very pleased with them.

    I like that RushCard is a two-day early pay. With the money being there sooner, I'm able to budget if I can take out a couple or leave it. I can look at my account online or on the app. They also have the refer a friend where I can get $20 or $30 credit. I get direct deposit and use the card to pay bills and make online purchases. I also use the reloading but I have to pay the fees. RushCard has monthly fees too so hopefully, it's not at the same times. I can only load up so much so that I will have to do two different cards if it's a bit large amount. Overall, having RushCard is a good idea.

    I noticed money missing from my account. Check the merchant. It was from Apple Store. Mind you I don't have anything with Apple. I contact RushCard immediately. They gave me the info and advised me to contact Apple immediately so they can investigate and put my money back. I did. Apple did all investigations. It was in a store in another state that I never been to so they send me an email with everything from the investigation as well as advised me to contact the local authority and RushCard again. I then called RushCard again and they told me that they will dispute it but it will take about 10 business days if they do it and if was the merchant it will be 5 business days. Still waiting. So disgusted with this company. Going to get a lawyer because I work too hard for my money.

    I order a Replacement card I needed asap so I paid the 30.00 to have it express to me in 2 days plus 5.00 for the Replacement card. It's been three days and no card. I called them several times today asking them where is my card. All they can say it's on the way that UPS is delivering the card. I'm so pissed off. I have money that I can't get to. I asked for a tracking number so I can track it myself. They couldn't even give me one talking about it's not showing in the system but the card been mailed out. Like hold up how you know it's been mailed but have no tracking number. If I don't get my card by tomorrow, I will take legal action. They should refund me back my 30.00 dollar because they guaranteed I will have my card in 2 days and now it's 3 days. I'm leaving them after being with them since 2005.

    I like the convenience of getting my money a few days earlier, but I don’t like the hassle I have to go through to file a dispute. There was a charge on my card on 09/13/2018. I contacted the merchant to let them know that this wasn’t a charge I authorize, as I do not live in DC. I like in VA Beach. The merchant was nice enough to not take my money and issued a refund. NOW the charge is still showing “pending” on my statement as of today. I’ve called RushCard customer service numerous times to request that they release the funds back to me. They’re telling me that I have to wait 10 business days!

    I contacted the merchant to have them send me a merchant release form... but all they could send was confirmation that the refund was issued. I forwarded the confirmation to RushCard and they’re telling me that it was rejected because it’s not a merchant release form. The merchant stated that they don’t send letters of any sort. RushCard is too much of a headache when it comes to MY money. Once I get my money back, I’m done. Idk what I was thinking leaving Netspend for this BS! Stay far away from RushCard. They’re incompetent and unprofessional. And I can’t file a complaint regarding the charge because it’s “pending!” Now ain’t that some **!

    RushCard representatives and a supervisor were absolutely rude and not helpful at all with a situation I have with my RushCard password. I was hung up on by both a Representative and a supervisor concerning my own account. I have never been more dissatisfied in my life.

    ATTENTION. Do NOT Use RushCard. I requested a replacement card and they would not allow me to change my address. They charged $37.00 to have a card expedited to me and assured me that they would forward the card or deliver to the rental office. They did neither, instead... I have a card floating around at an old address. I have called numerous times trying to rectify the situation and they are NO HELP. Each person I spoke to showed no empathy or willingness to help. Then I finally was able to FAX a copy of my ID and SSN card with proof of address and they denied it because they said "I was too dark". I am ** and I was highly offended, and was STILL left with no resolution. SO now, I am 2 weeks in without a card and again there has been NO resolution. I will NEVER USE this card again in my LIFE, and I advise you/whoever is reading this to NOT use them either.

    My account was closed after 6 years of having the account I didn't find out until a week before my direct deposit. I had 3 card registered under my name and I transferred funds around occasionally, a lot of money have been deposited in my accounts. I wasn't notified or even provided a legitimate excuse as to why my account closed. I honestly believe it's an inside job. RushCard is hacking everyone's account and blaming others people and yes closing them. This was very unprofessional and biased. They do not send out email and or text alert which I am by the way signed up for alerting you of the incident. They just do it without further notice. Horrible horrible business after all the years I have had the services, all the fees I have paid, etc.

    So I called the 1800 number on the back of my card. Each and every time I call these liars tell me something different. First it's on pending transactions, can be placed back on to your card, now they have to be posted. Well the gas station I stopped at on 9/6/2018 and asked for $40 in cash only to be told it declined so I told them to cancel the transaction. This bank is still holding my money even though Rich's oil gas station faxed them over a paper saying to release my money and still they have not released my money and all of this started at 11:40am and the paper was faxed at 2:10pm EST. You cannot understand half of what they are saying and it makes it worse when all they have done was lied since I have gotten this card.

    I’ve been w/ RushCard since Feb 2008, I’ve had several cards and use them a lot, recently I called about 20 or more times because I couldn’t get the email code to reset my password and get into the app, the RushCard agent was so rude, I had him to close the account after being a faithful customer for 10 years, I ordered a new card 3 weeks later, I still can’t a get a verification code emailed to me to reset my account! I’m so tired of this, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone ever again.

    I got RushCard in 2004 since it's better for me and I use it for everything. I paid off all my bills with it. In addition, their direct deposit is perfect because I get my money a day and a half earlier. They also give away certain things, but I've never won. A week ago, I used my card so much that it has completely turned blank and so, I needed a newer card. I called and asked them, "I need to get another card, but can I use my same card?” The rep said, "yes". So, my card was on its way, but what I didn't like is that I had to pay for a new card. I also don't like the ATM thing. At first, MoneyPass ATM was everywhere, so there really was no problem, but when they switched, it's now a little hassle. Walgreens is so far, so if I had to get some money out from my card and if I go anywhere, the ATM might charge me, plus RushCard would charge me.

    Absolute worst customer service. No individual agent is that bad -- some are obviously trying their best to help -- but the system as a whole just doesn't work. I've been trying to get a referral bonus that should have posted to my account but didn't. I've contacted RushCard by email, online chat, and phone. In response to my email, RushCard member services told me to contact an agent by online chat. Via online chat, I was told that a request had been placed to have the bonus credited to my account, and that I should get it in 2 business days -- the same thing I was told 9 days ago on the phone, after calling 10+ times about the issue.

    The first four or five times I called, I couldn't figure out how to get a live agent. (You have to press 0 a bunch of times, though they don't tell you that.) Then I was hung up on, twice, when the automated system said I was being transferred to an agent. I was also hung up on, again twice, by agents who said they were placing me on hold. I was also (wrongly) told by an agent that I didn't qualify for the referral bonus because I opened multiple RushCards. (Having up to four RushCards is explicitly allowed by RushCard's FAQ, and is not prohibited by the terms of the referral promotion.)

    I finally reached an agent who said they were putting in a request to have the bonus added to my account, but it hasn't been added (9 days later now). Each time I reached an agent, I had to first wait in the queue for 10-20 minutes before being connected. Overall it's been an absolutely terrible experience with many hours wasted. I wish I had never applied for a RushCard.

    I have been a RushCard holder for over 10 years. I love the service they provide and the convenience prepaid cards offer me. The only downside to this card is the fee to load cash on the card. Several other prepaid cards offer free cash loading serve by American Express. If rush offers that they will be winning 100%.

    Original Review: Hello Russel Simmons. I am one of your "debit card" holders and I'm very VERY DISGUSTED with the service the fee of your card and also your policy!! I've had your RushCard since 2017 and I just activated it today and used it for a PayPal transfer of $10.25 and your company took $7.80 from it and somehow I was left $1.80 which doesn't make sense!! I worked my ** off online doing surveys for 2 weeks to make sure that I could feed my child. I'm a single ** mother that's trying to get my life where it needs and the way I was treated today was so wrong. So I explained all this to your card services about that who in the hell will load $10 on a card to get half of it took from a fee for month that I haven't never used! I'm broke flat broke with nothing in hand but a dollar and that's to make sure tomorrow my daughter will never have to beg, and w/e I have to do after that I will to make sure she won't see as useless!

    I'm going to pursue this with legal actions and I'm going to get my voice heard. This is horrible. You took my last sir. How will I feed my child tonight? I worked hard for it and it's more people that this happened too. And I will make sure I see this to the end! Mr. Rush I hope one day God gives you grace on the ** you're doing. SCAMMER. I have nothing man; nothing. And this card took my last. And you know what they told me after I said it was to feed my child. It was nothing they could do. I owed a monthly fee. But how this was my first time using this card ever since I received it in the mail for free. I never applied for a RushCard. SMH.

    I was in a situation where I had to ask a family member for some money. He called RushCard customer service to make sure he was sending the cash to the right place. The agent walked him through the process and confirmed at the end of the call the money would arrive within the next 30 minutes. That was 3 days ago. According to the rude customer service people the money was sent to an expired card and cannot be transferred to the card that replaced it. They keep telling me to fax a copy of my ID which I have done 10 times and they still have not done anything.

    I have everything documented including confirmation of each and every fax that I have sent and they received. I will be sitting down with a lawyer first thing in the morning and filing a letter of intent followed by a lawsuit for illegally withholding my funds. I would strongly recommend anyone that is even thinking about trusting your money with these crooks to take your money and throw it out the window because it would be out to better use that way. RUN FROM THESE THIEVES.

    I have been with RushCard for 10 yrs and I never had a bad experience until August 23rd. I got a refund from Advanced Auto Parts of over $200 and immediately I got a message from RushCard saying my money was available... Then an hr later I see a negative transaction of the same amount on my account. When I contacted them they told me they see the refund. I have to wait 72 hours for the refund to process. It has now been 72 hours and my money is still not available and I still have a pending transaction and when I called again they telling me I have to wait 5 business days for my money to be refunded. I’m being scammed. I’m a single mother with 3 Kids with literally .09 cents in my account and for them to take my money is messed up... I will not be doing business ever again with RushCard. Such a big disappointment how I lost over 200$ due to RushCard saying my refund is fraudulent...

    With my RushCard, I get my deposit a couple of days earlier before it's supposed to. Everywhere I go and everything I do, I use it and have no problems with it. The availability of reloading the card is convenient for me. The place where I load it is right across the street from my house. When I need customer service, I call them, they talk to me and they fix the problem. I’ve been satisfied with them for seven years and I recommend them to friends all the time.

    I am a customer and I was going to take a Lyft and the Lyft never showed so they authorized a hold and rush telling me to wait ten days for it to drop off but I took a Lyft the next day and transaction was posted the same day but the first one is still pending, stay away from RushCard. They are based in the Philippines.

    Card was stolen so I reported it and mailed in my paperwork. Few months go by and I hear nothing so I checked up on it. They never received my paperwork and since it has been past the 10 day mark, there is nothing they can do! I'm out my check and behind on rent. I don't recommend RushCard to anyone.

    When I first got my RushCard, the guy was mainly the first person that actually offered it. So, I went ahead and took advantage of it. I do direct deposit and I like my money being on my card before my payday. I call when I have a problem and when I do, they’re pretty quick and efficient. They always resolve every issue I’ve ever called them about. But if I'm paying the fee at the stores and then RushCard takes a fee, it seems like they take too much money. Also, when I load money on my card, it depends on where I go. It could be cheaper or it could be more, like at Walmart, there’s gonna be $3.95, while at CVS it’s $5. But that’s the only problem I have with them. Other than that, everything else is okay. If someone asks, I would tell them to get a RushCard if they can't get a card. It’s the best one I’ve ever had. I got several prepaid cards now, but I only use that one.

    I have been using RushCard for about four years and since using it, I haven't been overspending. I also got my son one so I can transfer him money and it has been working well for us. I use RushCard's direct deposit option and reload locations and they are really easy to find. Rushcard is easy to load and it's easy to manage the app and online. Also, the team at Rushcard has always been very helpful. One time, there was a situation when I didn’t receive an item and they got it taken care of. They refunded the cost of the item in about a week. Overall, it's a great card and it's a good prepay program.

    I was going through student loans and I never really had or dealt with a bank before. So, I thought I’d baby-step my way into it and Rushcard seems like a perfect card. Also, it is backed by Russel Simmons. I got the card and it's great that I get my money two days earlier. I also use it to pay my bills and in the beginning, whenever I did a swipe to pay for anything, it would cost me a dollar and that was pay as you go. So, I did the monthly of 9.95 and I don’t have to worry about the fee every time I swipe. Everybody recognizes the card and I wish that it would be on Samsung Pay, so I can use it through my phone.     The worst customer service I have ever experienced!!! Don't expect answers or help. From calling once you actually go through all the hurdles to get an actual agent. Trust me once my direct deposit clears I will be changing cards. Love getting my check early but not knowing what day you will receive is a drag as well.

    I had an issue with AutoZone, they said they never took my money but $81.26 was pending for a while. Something told me I should screenshot it and I did just in case I had to prove this. When I went back, the transaction no longer said pending, it just disappeared. I've called AutoZone and they said that I had to call my bank. I've been trying and the recording says I need to contact the merchant. I had another issue with a VIP tires, they told me they cancelled the transaction for $53 but I never got the money put back on my card.

    Now today at the gas station, I foolishly paid at the pump and now I fear I won't get the $50 that has been held for doing so. I don't know who I can talk to but I am out of $187.26 from transactions way back from June 6 and June 29th, which haven't been resolved and to now. This has got to be illegal and the messed up part is I have nobody to talk to because they use a system instead of real people. I am a single mother who works to provide for my family, I don't deserve this. I actually told all my friends and family about RushCard and now I feel like a fool.

    I called RushCard due to me not receiving my direct deposit. I was told there maybe a delay in the deposit department. I normally receive my check on Thursday. Today is Friday and still nothing. I verified with my job and they do have the correct bank information and the monies were deposited. Now I'm told to wait. It should reflect shortly. It can be still processing through the bank.     I do not write too many reviews, but I HAD to with this. I signed up with RushCard in 2014. In my situation at that time, a prepaid card was the best option. Aside from minor issues, such as a replacement card being a little late, everything seemed to be going smooth. Until earlier this year (2018) Meta Bank decided to close my account with notice, all I received was an email that read, "Your RushCard account balance is now $0". Mind you, my account just received my Tax Return a few days prior. Alarmed, I checked my account online and it read the balance of my account was paid to "My Name".

    I called Rushcard and they told me that Meta Bank can close my account without notifying me. Isn't that insane? So I read through the agreement and I read that Meta Bank CAN close an account, if it there was suspension of illegal activity, definitely NOT THE CASE, on my behalf. However, Rushcard "customer service" assured me that a check with the balance of my card would be sent to my address. The next day I received an email from a retailer, that because of an out of stock item they issued me a refund on the card used (RushCard). I called RushCard to ask the process of returning this refund from the retailer, since my account was closed, and they've already sent me a check for my balance. He said they see the refund issued and will send a check.

    About a week later, I received the first check for my balance and deposited it into my official Chase Bank. (After a couple years of RushCard, I was in a good place to open a REAL bank account, and decided to keep RushCard along with it). Anyhow, a few days past, and the check that Meta Bank sent was returned to sender and reversed out of my Chase account. Rushcard "Headquarters" reversed the check, because they claim that they wanted to send the retailer refund with the rest of the balance in another check!!!

    Guys, this is where things get so schemey. I called Rushcard, furiousss. This first rep.,- and I say first rep. because at the "end" of it all, I spoke with about 20 people. The first rep. told me that it has happened to someone(s) else. He said he would send an online request to CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS. I want everyone to read that clearly, because no one, I mean NOT ONE PERSON could give me a contact for CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS, they don't exist guys. There's no email, no number, NOTHING. The "highest" up I've reached was an Account Manager, and those 6/7 idiots didn't know much.

    In trying to keep this short, but as helpful as possible... A month and a half passed by with no check sent to me, about 5 people out of those 20 having the audacity to give me an actual date that the check would arrive to my address, and a rep. refusing to transfer me to this Corporate that apparently handles everything, or anyone else, he said "he is the only one available." RIDICULOUS. The staff there will keep you on hold for a long time, and please believe that I've waited, to tell you that they're sending request after request after request.

    So now, for the game changer! Rushcard, after TWO MONTHS of me following up, they sent the balance of my Rushcard to the IRS Treasury!!! Yes, you read that right. Because that balance was from my tax refund, they sent MY MONEY back to the IRS. I don't care how rude or frustrated I seemed to them, it doesn't give them the right to "play" with my money. On top of that give the bad attitude they gave. I'm still looking into a lawsuit. I hope no one has to deal with the "customer service" at Rushcard. They are lazy, and inefficient. And if you do, patience and God be with you.

    I used to like my Rushcard when they only charged up to $10 a month when you used your card or pay the $9.95 a month. But now it's like most of my money goes to them. And I feel that when they change fee-free ATMs customers should have been notified and the fee-free ATMs that are listed on the website still charge a fee. I call customer service and asked for a statement so I could show them that I was still being charged a fee at in-network ATMs and they said they would and never did. I think Rushcard was better in the beginning than they are now. I try not to use mine unless absolutely necessary.

    At the time that I set up a RushCard, I didn't have a bank account and the job I had had direct deposits so it was a lot easier. I direct deposit and check my cash through RushCard. The only bad thing about it was when I was trying to purchase a car in May. I had quite a bit of money on the card and was trying to get 5000, but I couldn’t. I had to go to a bank and swipe the card and then get the money from the bank. If they could fix how much money I could access off of it, that would be a lot better.

    Other than that, I take it wherever I go and it’s pretty much what I use for cash like to buy food and order stuff online. Customer service is really good. They helped me when I had a question about getting my money off the card so I could buy the car. Even though they didn’t tell me exactly what I wanted to hear, they replied to my message on my Facebook Messenger pretty fast within maybe a half hour or so. I’ve used RushCard for about 10 years now. It works for me, so I’m happy with it. I'm 100% satisfied.

    So earlier this year I did a bill pay. Bad idea. I sent the amount of $400. When I put in my information and the payee with the amount hit confirm, it instantly takes the money out of your account. Then a prompt pops up telling you it will take up to 7 days and gives a date for when the money will reach the receiver's account. I took a screenshot of that prompt to make sure I had my dates correct and to let the receiver know. When the day that the money was supposed to arrive, I called concerned. When I spoke with the CSR they told me it could take up to 30 days for the money arrive. But according to what the website prompt told me, it had a specific date which was 7 days after I initiated the bill pay.

    The reps were very rude to me and like they did not believe me. I did send an email with the screenshot and they still would not give me my money back or even honor that their company website has this as a direction. If bill pay could that long, don't you think that should be something that is stated and not just advised once the problems arises? Then there is nothing but (I'm assuming) Indians working there. Some have very thick accents so you can hardly understand them. I think this is a very horrible paycard and as soon as I can I'm leaving! I have the worst experience with them.

    The direct deposit is what I use RushCard for, which is great. The monthly fee works a lot better than the $1 charge per purchase item. The ATMs that are listed on the site are not all free; some of the charge, depending on the city, I suppose. The customer service via over the phone is poor; they have constant attitudes. The chat service is awesome, and the customer relations team on there are great! It doesn't help that I can't use my card to pay most of my bills, due to it being considered a prepaid card, but it does its purpose. Overall, it's beneficial for me.

    Updated on 01/30/2019: Recently, I went through an ordeal where my card was getting hit multiple times in small amounts for some Walmart Family Mobile plan. The last one was an excessive amount that I noticed out of my account. When I reported it, RushCard did their investigation. The only problem was that five transactions were past 60 days and I couldn't recover them. That pissed me off. I’m still waiting for Walmart to get back with me. But RushCard is not gonna do **.

    Most of the time, you should get some alert when a transaction is done. But even though you set the settings for your alerts, sometimes, they're inconsistent. There have been instances where the transaction alert came hours or a day later. This is the second time I’ve been hit with fraud. The first time, it wasn’t past 60 days and that was taken care of really quickly. But this time, with the way this was handled and the time it took for me to even get a response, I was just dissatisfied. I went with RushCard initially because I had gotten tired of dealing with banks. I was also hit with fraud then and I didn't get any justice in that. Plus RushCard had incentives with the cash back every month.

    However, it’s difficult to get somebody on the phone because RushCard had changed their ways on how you can contact them through their automated service. Plus you would be trying to find somebody who can actually understand good English to understand what you’re trying to do. In fact, I’ve only had an American representative once. That was shocking. Most of the time, I contact RushCard through the phone but I have also reached out to their Facebook page once and it took a little bit for a response as well. RushCard's fees went up too, which is more annoying.

    On the other hand, RushCard is convenient with helping out with online banking. My direct deposit comes in two days earlier than with most of the cards where I’d put money away. Another convenience factor is the card transfers to other people with RushCard, like with my mom. It’s easier to send her money and put it directly on her card. In terms of online bills payment and purchases, there are also very few services that I've tried to link up with that didn't deal with prepaid cards.

    Original Review: I've been with RushCard for years and now I'm going to switch back to a regular bank. These fees are just ridiculous now. I've probably tripled their profit with the fees in the past year. Won't recommend anymore. As an alleged valued customer, I would think they would focus more on keeping my business rather than rape my account. Store purchases and ATM withdrawals fees had seriously made my mind up on leaving.

    Having a Rush Card has been a breath of fresh air! What traditional bank has a service fee as low as 5.95 a month! Being able to transfer money into Rush Card Goals has helped me learn how to save! The freedom of being able to transfer funds into my moms account saves me time and money.     I had an account with 3 cards for over 2 years with Rush. I had my primary card, which I had my payroll check loaded onto each pay period and used to pay bills, buy purchases, etc... I used it very regularly and never had an issues at all. I also had two other cards for my children. I have one daughter in college 2 and a half hours away and it was an easy way for me to send her money or to help her pay bills for school. I also had another card that I gave to my 15 year old daughter when she went out to keep her from having to carry cash, and that was connected to an Uber and Lyft account just in case of an emergency she had to get a ride other than the person went out with.

    I would move cash to this card and it ensured that she has security when I wasn't with her. I used my cards very much and paid all fee that were charged to me. I felt that I was a very good customer and never had any problems. One day my card wouldn't work. I called the customer service number and they informed me that all of my cards and accounts had been closed by the bank due to some issue that they did not know and that my remaining balance would be mailed to me within 10 days! I couldn't believe it! I am a single Mother who didn't like using cash for safety purposes so I had all of my money on this card!

    I also had my payroll check set up for direct deposit to my main card! What was I going to do on Monday when I needed money for school lunch for my two youngest kids? How was I going to pay the fees for my daughter's dorm when she went back to college? I was dumbfounded. Not only could the Rush rep not tell my why they had done this, he was also very rude and uncaring, and he acted like I had done something wrong! I couldn't believe this was how the gentleman who represented the company, Russell Simmons, would want them to act.

    I mean, I actually saw an ad of him talking about how and why he started this card and it is the very reason why I even got the card! I am very disappointed about how abruptly I was treated by this company. I was a very good customer and told many people about them and even had a referral fee once from one of my friends who signed up for a card also. I couldn't believe how it ended. Sad, very sad. I guess they've gotten too big to care about individual customers any longer. I was a small client, with just a small amount of money on my cards, but I was a very loyal member and gave them good rating, reviews etc... not anymore.

    The dispute department is a joke, in 2016 I had some crook scan my card and makes a-duplicate of my card. I was using my card at the same exact time at a Publix, when I received a text alerting me a withdrawal was occurring at another Publix atm in North Miami Beach. I call the dispute department immediately to notify them of the fraud. They cancelled my card right then. So, I assume they would look at the camera at the Publix where the fraud occurred and see it wasn’t me. Because I could not be in two places at one time and I only had one card on my account.

    They concluded it was a valid transacting and did not give me back my $257.00 that was stolen from me. I notified them when the transaction was texted through text alert and I am still out of my money. By the way they didn’t even mail out a letter telling me the conclusion of the investigation, I had to keep calling to find out and no one could tell me why they came to the conclusion they came to.

    I have had RushCard for a long time. About since 2012. It is giving me the worst issues the past year. Not only that if you guys took away the ATM now I get charged a fee. I've been with you guys for so long. If I lose my card you're still charging me for a new one. My new card won't let me buy anything online because it's not registering. I've lost so much money taking money out of the ATM just to take money out of my bank account. You guys charge the ATM fee plus your fee so I can $6 to take all my money.

    I recommended this card to everyone when I first got it. Now I don't I keep it because all of my money gets deposited out of his account but soon enough I will be canceling it. I was one of your most faithful customers. I sent people to you to get a card. I've highly spoke about how great you guys are getting paid a few days early. I've lost so much money since you guys updated your system. I wasn't able to use my card. You guys have shut my card off three times. When I lost my car when I asked not to. Worst customer service ever on the phone.

    Everything is great. The only thing I dont like is the inconsistent deposit times. My job always submits payroll on time, every time. There have been times where I've been late on payments due to this inconsistency. Another thing is, these emails I get about winning money and I'm sure it's only for new customers or certain regions even though it doesn't state that.     There was a transaction to be made to my account the day my direct deposit was added to my card. But for some reason the transaction would not go through although I had the funds to pay it. I was not happy to hear that there was no sign of a transaction to have been attempted although the dr office told me over the phone that they tried to run my card on the 9th. So that means there was a problem on YOUR end and the agent I spoke with refused to solve my problem.

    I was very disappointed with RushCard services. I had them since 2007 until last week. I am a disabled combat veterans receiving benefits and was never educated on lump sum settlements. Half or some veterans have some form of a prepaid card. I got really educated by the Department of Veterans Affairs for retroactive disability compensation. Most don't have bank accounts due to lack of information about some benefits.

    RushCard has the two-day express pay so I keep this card. My main perk is to receive my direct deposit a couple days earlier so that I’m able to have access to my funds. I use the card often for online purchases, but mostly bills. It helps me pay my bills quicker. I’ve had RushCard for a while and my only complaint is that if someone else had used my card, which happened before, it takes a long time for RushCard to get back to me and I have to talk to someone. Other than that, everything I’ve experienced has been good. Usually, the reps are decent when I call. RushCard is an okay card to have if you need a card.

    I had my RushCard stolen on Aug 4th 2018 and called the RushCard representative to get a new card mailed to me in 1 to 2 days for $30. Today is Aug 7 and I was told to send utility bill, Social S card, identification card and handwritten letter to update my info on my acct. I did so and all documents were excerpts. Now I call after I faxed all the papers 3 times because the fax was too dark, and he tells me now I have to wait 2 days and call back because the corporate has to approve to send me a replacement card!!!

    I am pissed off. No money, it's all on my RushCard and I can't get my new card sent to me today until corporate approves my update!!! This is **!!! I need my card sent today. They got all the info they asked for. And technically I don't even have to send a copy of my Social Security card. That's confidential information for no one to see. After being a customer since 2010, when I do finally receive my new card I'm canceling it. This is very wrong. RushCard should expedite my card immediately after receiving the documents they asked me to fax.

    In the beginning, RushCard had a promotion where they gave people $5 to sign up and $5 for every other person that the person who signed up adds to their account. I signed up and RushCard was able to get my funds a couple of days early. However, now that they've switched companies, it has gotten horrible. There have been changes with the credit limit of cash that you can get out and with the fees that they have when you need a new card. The changes don’t make sense too. Right now, my card is broken, it expires next year and they wanna charge me a fee to get a new one.

    I can get a better place and I had started talking to Capital One. They have an actual checking account and they let you draw an interest. The only bad thing is with Capital One, you can’t really get your funds early, which I actually use it for direct deposit and paying rent. I have to pay with a money order so I have to draw out cash. It takes two days to draw it, so with Capital One I won't be able to pay my rent on time.

    With RushCard, I’m getting the deposits early but they let me use $400 of the money that I get. So, if I have to pay a big bill that’s over $400, I've got to wait an extra day after that hour, to withdraw some more money to pay my bills. Plus, if it’s not an online bill, that’s not really helping because RushCard doesn’t do money orders. Also, I've had horrible interactions with the reps. They don’t interact with me too much and they put me online. Then if I go online and log in, they lock my account out. So, overall, RushCard is a headache all the way around. There are a couple of things that are okay and there are a couple of things that I don’t understand why. It wasn’t that way at first back when Russell Simmons owned RushCard. Don't go to this company. I’m about to cancel their service and I've looked up other places to go to.

    I am very dissatisfied with the service I have received from RushCard... there was an issue where my card was stolen. I reported this to RushCard reps... in order to get a new card but I needed it to be sent to my new address. I was told that it couldn't be sent there because I have not changed the address online. Mind you I had already told them that I didn't have an online account so with the card being stolen I couldn't do that... so they refused. So I asked if they could just close the account and mail me a check for the remaining amount that was left on the card which was direct deposit from my job.

    They said they could do that and would send the check to the new address which would take 7 to 10 business days... Well that was March 23, 2018. It is now August 2, 2018. I still have not received my check. I called these people in tears because I need my money. Still no help... I WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN AND I WILL DEFINITELY LET ANY AND EVERYONE KNOW MY EXPERIENCE WITH THESE PEOPLE. I've been a customer since 2011.

    The people at RushCard told me that their fees are low and that I could get my paycheck two days ahead of time. However, every time I turn around, there’s a new astronomical fee being charged. Also, it's the only card that I have to get one of my paychecks and my paycheck does not come to me ahead of time. I have multiple transactions that go through on my card so I picked the one where it’s a one-time a month fee. But then, I’m getting charged a dollar fee for everything and I never get any of that money back. They used to give the fee back when it goes over a certain amount of charges.

    Also, when I spoke to their staff, there was a major language issue. Now, the only transaction that comes in from my weekly paycheck job is 200 and something dollars. I don’t do anything over $300 on RushCard ‘cause I don’t trust it anymore. I have a business too where I do income tax and I recommended RushCard to my clients. However, half of the clients didn't even get their cards and half their deposits. I’m very dissatisfied with RushCard and I won't recommend any of my customers to use it for tax purposes. I’m over this card altogether.

    I have been sending my direct deposit to RushCard since 2016 the same way every time. Nothing has change or anything. For some reason this time RushCard decided to send my funds back saying my name wasn’t on the deposit. Now mind you my name never shows up on the deposit. The supervisor SUMMER was absolutely nooo help at all. She stated, "My PayFlex we receive the money back in 3 business day," but yet they still have no funds so there’s nothing I or PayFlex can do.     I have RushCard for 10 years now and it’s nice that with it, if I wanted to deposit money, I don’t have to go to a bank. My direct deposit is there every other week and I don’t have to go get a check cashed. If there’s a Walmart that’s closer, which there is, then I can go there. But one time, RushCard said that I called in and reported my phone lost, but I never did. It seemed like it was a program glitch but they didn’t wanna say that it was a program glitch. But that was how most banks are so I wasn't by it. It's just that it happened out of nowhere and I had to borrow money off my friend because RushCard shut all my funds off on the card. Then, I had to wait for a new card for which they made me an overnight fee to get it overnighted. But I told them that they should waive it. It was their own internal fault that they shut off my card.

    Hi, really don't like to write bad reviews. However, my experience with RushCard this past week has been very horrible. Someone hacked into my account and made six transactions from the state of IL. (I'm in FL) I've called serval times (each representative was NOT helpful at all) trying to get this matter solved. When I was finally able to speak with someone and start the disputes. The representative told me since I'm a loyal customer (since 2006) they would refund me the money back right away. Well I called, sent a email, & sent a message via Twitter.

    Now I'm being told that the process takes 90 days to review and up to 10 days to issue me a refund. I don't think it is fair that I have to wait so long for something that wasn't my fault. The representative gave me false hope. All I'm asking is for my money to release back to me. Calling customer service is useless, you have to repeat yourself several times. Just for them comprehend what you are trying to say. I've sent private messages and STILL no help. Trust me, I understand policy and procedures but I'm asking for an exception to made to quickly assist me here. I need those funds sent back to me. So please, someone from corporate please reach out to me and get this matter resolved.

    Called RushCard prepaid card customer service number to try and get some answers as to where the monies I had added to the new card I received from them had gone to. I was transferred over to what I was told was a customer service supervisor. I was met with a rude woman who just kept reading a pre written response card that had absolutely nothing to do with the issue I was trying to get help with.

    I was basically told I was a liar and was not allowed to get a single word in edgewise because every time I would try to explain my dilemma she would read louder than I was speaking until she was almost yelling over me cutting me off and then I requested her name and employee #. She made up a name and refused to put me in contact with her immediate supervisor and I quote "there is no one above me. I'm the head of the company. I own the company" which I know was a lie because RUSSELL SIMMONS does. This is the worst I've ever been treated by any company that I have done business with in all my 48 yrs. I cut up the card that they stole money from. And I will tell anyone I know. DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THE RUSH CARD COMPANY EVER!!!

    I've been with RushCard since 2014. On July 16, 2018 I had a 3.85 charge from a scam. With that being said I agreed to cancel the card and receive another one for 5 dollars. I waited the 7 business days. July 25, 2018 and still didnt receive a card. Then they told me I had to wait 3 July 28th. More business days and still I haven't received a card. I was educated to call back on 3rd business day to call and reorder the card. I do so only to find out it had my old address which is directly next door to me because I lived there and decided to move into a bigger house so my girls could have their own room. With that being said the house is empty and has been for a while so I check the mailbox daily just because mail still comes there.

    Well anyways they had me go online and update my address which I did and then had me upload proof of identity which was my social security card, my current utility and my ID which I did then told me that I had to wait 48 hrs July 31st, 2018 business hours before it gets verified. In the meantime I have no electricity, no gas, no food. I worked extra hours just to have enough money to be able to pay rent electric and buy uniform clothes for my girls because they start school August 6. Im so terrified they are going to take my money like they have done to other people or freeze my account.

    My family does not live here and I dont have anyone I can call. I've been crying for days because I am in college which is 25 miles away and didnt have gas to go to class to take my finals. I tore my house up looking for change to ride the bus. Finally when I told my teacher the situation he did come and get me to take finals. Im so lost, I keep falling into a panic attack and I keep cry continuously because of this. I just cant believe this 3 dollar charge has cost me my whole entire life. I mean the weather has been 103 and the closest shelter is 15 miles away. I just want to die because I cant believe a 3 dollar charge has cost me my entire life. And I still dont have a way to get to my money or anything.

    I checked myself into treatment back in April. When I went in I had my tax refund loaded onto my RushCard. The facility said that because it was such a substantial amount of money on the card I was required to put it inside of their safe. While in their safe an employee (the director's assistant) stole my debit card and went into their system and stole my Social Security number and my birthday and change my PIN number. She later spent over $1,200 off my debit card. On June 5th when I found out that this was happening I canceled my RushCard and disputed the unauthorized charges. I went up to the store where the charges were made and got the video footage of the lady spending the money at the ATM.

    RushCard said that they would do an investigation and at the end of the investigation my money would be reimbursed. I filed a police report and the lady now has pending charges. Even though I filed the police report RushCard still hasn't reimbursed my money and has closed out the investigation saying that they see no error found and I would not be reimbursed. They told me to do a rebuttal claim to the final decision made and they would reopen the investigation. I did that rebuttal claim as advised and I also sent additional documents including the full police report and not just the report number.

    Even with all of that plus the video footage RushCard is still saying they aren't giving me my money back because they see no error found. I asked them what is considered an error. If unauthorized use of my card isn't an error then what is? I also sent them a 16 page statement from the facility I checked myself in explaining how the card was stolen and where it was stolen from. Even with all of these documents, the police report and the video footage RushCard still hasn't reimbursed my money and is claiming that they aren't going to reimburse the money saying that there's no error found. I'm really stuck between a rock and a hard place and I'm just out of $1,200 and I don't know what to do. Can someone help me out with this please.

    Around 2 years ago I got a refund right before Christmas... was a rather large purchase. I went to the ATM right after I got the email showing my money had been put back on my card (prior bad experience with then I wanted to take my money off the card) and it had been locked immediately!!! Took up until a couple months ago for them to "REVIEW" my account. I even sent in the receipt... They still claimed fraud!!! $900+ and I still have yet to see a dime.     RushCard was sent to incorrect address, when I called to inquire I was told to go online. Explained couldn’t go online as I didn’t have correct information, got put on hold 7x for > 15min, hung up on 3x. Finally got ahold of guy named Miggy and he stated he would have check sent out. That was on 7-11-18. As of 7-20-18 I still have not received my monies and RushCard can’t tell me when or if the check was processed.

    Updated on 08/01/2018: Spoke with representative and she stated the check was processed at 12:41am on 8-1-18, and I should now receive in 7-10 business days, which is the same BS they told me on July 11th, however they have not failed to take out a monthly service fee for a freaking card that I don’t have and requested cancelled a month ago!!!

    Updated on 08/03/2018: So it is now August 3, 2018 and I still have not received my monies, every time I call you give me one ** outrageous excuse after another. None of your representatives speak fluent English and all I get are apologizes and told that they will escalate the issue, the ** issue has been escalated 3x!!!

    Well I do not do this much but, after all this mess I have no choice I chose RushCard and trusted this company with my money but, I see they take money and try to sound concerned. I used my info online to use as direct deposit, I received an email letting me know it's been posted, I try to log in. For some reason the site will not let me, so I try to call and get help. They tell me, "We see you have a deposit but it's on another card that you never registered. Is your card purple?" "No it's pink." "Well it's your fault you copied the wrong information down." I tell him, "How am I wrong when I took this information off my account. It's not my fault. It's your company's fault" so I ask to speak with his manager thinking this guy would help.

    Not I was told to fax my SS card, my ID, proof or residence for 30 days and a letter with my old and new address. This was 4 dollars and some change to fax not to mention, so I called to see if they received my information I just faxed, I was told they want a bill now and they can't read the information but I went to FedEx to send them this information, I'm going to try my hardest to cancel this check and if I find out they took my money I will file a lawsuit against RushCard for more than what I lost. The customer service sucks and they need to hire some people that speak English because I could not understand them at all and I'm not trying to be mean but come on now. I will stalk RushCard until my funds are free to me simple as that. Russell has too much money to be playing with our money.

    Updated on 07/23/2018: We'll update on how RushCard is trying to scam me, after faxing my gas bill proving to these people I am who I say I am they still denied me my card with my payroll money on it. I have sent so much of my information. I feel like they can use after them saying I was denied and they already taken their fees off my card that has never been registered yet I know that's not right. It's like they are using my card when I haven't even registered it yet. I'm really upset because I'm calling my payroll to cancel this check before they rob me even more, and I will wait for the bank to issue me a paper check.

    I will never recommend RushCard to family friends or strangers. I hope this company falls down from all the taking they do from us. They say, “Well you signed for us to get our funds”, yes I did sign but if my card is not registered then no one can touch anything until then I'm very upset I want to know all my personal information will not be stolen from overseas. Never again will I trust anyone with my money.

    Updated on 08/01/2018: Well update with RushCard. It's the 1st of August now and I finally receive a response back from them, they tell me my payroll check. They decided to send me instead of sending it back to the bank. Has been mailed to the old address. After I told the guy my new information and the calls are being recorded, well they want me to wait another 5-10 days for my check. This money was to keep a roof over me and my kids heads. I think I need a lawyer now. Playtime is over, I feel like they are trying to not send me my money. I'm angry as hell.

    I have been calling RushCard every day since July 3rd, 2018 about a payment that was taken from my account but merchant reversed it back!!! It was over $200 and every time I call I get a different answer to my question! I was promised Credit after 10 days! They basically stolen money!!! It is July 18, 2018 and I just got off the phone with RushCard with a trace # to prove the funds was reversed back to my account. I was told I would not be receiving credit or a refund! I’m currently looking into a lawsuit against #Rushcard. This is NOT the first time this has happened.

    I have been waiting 3 weeks for them to send me a card. They have supposedly sent them to me but I have never received them and they have taken 70.00 from my card and keep giving me the runaround. My family has suffered over this. We have went without food and I have to pay late charges on all my bills. I need my money. I don't understand why they keep lying to me telling me they send it but they don't and when I ask for a tracking number they tell me UPS has it and I know that isn't true because I called UPS and they say different.     My friend transfer $200 onto my RushCard via card to card transactions, two days later disputed the transaction and with anything but his words on the phone RushCard put a hold on my account. I have no access to my funds or paycheck, he called to tell them to stop disputing and sent a fax of his ID and a letter telling them to drop dispute and still my card is blocked. They said it can take up to 45 days to uphold. DO NOT GIVE RUSHCARD ACCESS TO YOUR MONEY. THEY ARE NOT A REAL BANK BUT IN FACT A SCAM.

    I reported a fraudulent withdrawal transaction to RushCard May 5th 2018 and they were to look into it. They canceled my card and sent me a new one which I received May 17th or so. In the meantime I could not access my funds left. So since May my dispute was not resolved. On July 11th 2018 my new card was suspended without my know and no access to my funds again. When I contacted RushCard they stated my account was permanently closed because they could not ensure the security of my account and that it was high risk. When I said, "How is that I just used my card a day ago". They said it was a decision from their corporate office and had no further information.

    When I ask for a contact they said they don't have one and I can apply for another RushCard in six months and my remaining funds would be sent back to me in 7-10 business days. How is this place FDIC but they don't stand by the rules that govern them. Furthermore they told me my fraudulent withdrawal transaction I disputed in May was resolved June 19th 2018 and was determined an accurate withdrawal and closed out and again I was never notified! But then they cancel my account a month later without notification or anything and my direct deposit is set from both of my jobs to go there. Now I have to wait over a week to receive my money from RushCard and my job because of RushCard!! And now I can't pay my bills or get back and forth to work cause I have no access to my funds. "Thanks RUSHCARD for messing with people's livelihood and you have no answers". This can't be legal! Legal action is definitely in the works.

    I was having trouble with my other prepaid card so I decided to switch and get a rush card. I set it up and set up direct deposit since it was advertised that I can get paid up to 2 days earlier. That’s what got my attention. Well my first paycheck came around today and I’m still currently waiting on my money. I called customer service and got several different answers as to why my funds weren’t there. They could tell me the exact amount if my check but could not tell me when it would be released.

    I finally asked for a supervisor. “Jeff” was a real jerk in the phone. My question for him was when will my funds be released. He first said he wasn’t sure and then I got a little upset and said I needed a time frame for my funds. He said again by end of day. I said not I need a time. Jeff then says 10:30. Then proceeds to tell me have a nice day. Without any other information. One poor customer service and I am a supervisor in a call center! It was a horrible experience. Secondly I will also be contacting the BBB. Please release the funds that I work hard for and you have no right putting it on hold.

    I have two accounts with this company RushCard whom I find is a rip off and scam. I have been with them since 2009. When I first got my Social Security they claim it's 2012. On June 14th I had one of my cards stolen and I canceled it. I call them and ask for a replacement. They claim they can't replace it and that I must go online to do so but I have had others replaced in the past and didn't have to go online.

    Since this matter has happen I have been given the run around about a new card because I don't remember my password made so many years ago and I moved and they refuse to assist in changing my information in the computer. Then to top it off I was told by one of their employees to fax all my information in which I did and now the lie is they can't read it and that I need to send copy of my Social Security card not the receipt but I was told on phone my receipt was enough. See it makes me wonder why do you need copies of my private information and to do what with it and if I'm such a valued customer why am I going thru this and I have a second card with you and you are so willing to take my business on my other card. I am going to let the world know about this horrible rip off company.

    I have contacted the OCC. I suggest all of you people do the same. They regulate this company. Maybe enough people contact the OCC we will put them out of business. RushCard has changed for the worst since they got rid of Russell Simmons and why is it we talk to people outside this country about our money. It's very strange and wrong. It make me think you hold our money to fund some terrorist society and they refuse to give us an American contact or the number and name of the true owner but you have my money. Get ready to explain to the OCC your dirty tactics. I will no longer be done this way and when I get my money I'm done with this company and I will start a movement to get rid of them.

    After 14 years of using RushCard Customer Service I’ve finally had enough and closed my account. Service has always been horrible but I figured a small price to pay to get my paycheck a couple of days early most times!!! WRONG. This week my card was compromised and thieves were able to steal money from my RushCard account. I knew I wasn’t going to get much help from customer service to get it back but I thought at least I can block the card and get a new one before any more of my money was stolen. WRONG again!! I waited almost an hour to speak to someone in the disputes department who didn’t speak fluent English but was finally able to block the card and get me back over to Customer Service so I can update my address and order a new card.

    After waiting another 10 minutes a rep in customer service picked up and said she can order a card but I would have to go online to update my address. Ok still. No big deal. WRONG. I log into my account. Went to account settings then contact details to update my address where I received a message “oops you can’t make any changes to an account that has been blocked”???

    Apparently the rep in disputes didn’t know that I had to update my address before he placed a block on the account or else I would have to fax in my ID, SS card, a piece of mail and an authorization form in order to update my mailing address or open a brand new RushCard account. WHAAAT?? I spoke to several managers who all said the same thing!! So RushCard and Russell Simmons I hope you enjoyed 14 years of monthly and others ATM fees but I would NEVER EVER use RushCard or recommend that anyone else do!! I will now use Netspend along with my traditional bank. I’m sure the customer service can’t be any worst!!

    In January 2018 my card was stolen. My name is Valorie **. I called cancel my card when I realized it was missing. I paid the overnight fee of $30 and didn’t get the card for several days. RushCard gave me back the money and upon day 45 or so they took the money back which created a financial hardship for me being a single working mom. When I called to see what happen they said they couldn’t make contact with the merchants. Only 1 merchant gave me my money back. The rep told me they can do a rebuttal which takes 30 days and advised that I do a police report.

    The same day I went to the police station, did a report, called back, give that info and I also faxed in the phone numbers and address to the location in which my money was spent. I’m very upset because I feel robbed by RushCard and the person that took my money also. I called from April until today which is July 3 and was told I will not be getting my money back. I’ve been a customer since 2011 and this upsets and disappoints me, can someone assist with please I want my money back.

    I've always been very skeptical when it came to prepaid cards. It just so happened that I received an email and gave it a chance. They were doing a $50 sign up promotion for setting up direct deposit. Naturally, I was sold! Who wouldn't be? So I signed up in July of 2017 and hadn't received it. I was getting paid weekly so I wasn't hurting for it but the main reason I gave it a try was the sign up bonus. I received an email basically saying they still hadn't given me my sign up bonus and I shouldn't "miss out" on what I'm owed. Mind you, it's now July 2018! I'd say I was as patient as ever. It's pretty much a battle to get through to them on the customer service number! Then you have someone who is VERY difficult to understand and lack the experience of dealing with general public. Period! The killing part for me was hearing them actually try to explain how the promotion no longer is available! No **!

    A year later I wouldn't expect it to be but it still remains the same; I signed up during the promotional period and also received a very recent email telling me that I hadn't received it! The second rep (first one placed me on hold to "review the details of my application" and never came back on the line) didn't have a chance to even talk around it. I was very blunt and direct! Either I get what I signed up for, and also, what your company agreed to do or close not one but ALL THREE accounts! She then tried to be smart and point out that I only had one in my name! Yes. You are correct! My roommates, who I referred, closed theirs as well!

    I say that to say this, your customers are the main ones adding to your company and paychecks by bringing others to sign up! Be careful not to assume that one customer isn’t capable of impacting whether others stay with you! The fact that so many trust you guys with their hard earned money only for you to handle it poorly is going to cost you a lot more in the end! Your company is a joke! Period! I will never deal with your company ever and strongly recommend that others don’t as well! You handle yourselves very poorly and simply are not cut out for this kind of business! Your representatives, in general, listen to respond not to understand! The fact that there are thousands of reviews should be an eye opener alone! Do the math... 4,000 x 7.95... That's a damn good significant amount of money to lose because of your arrogance and refusal to simply do what you committed to do. It's very unfortunate!

    I paid for my hotel stay with cash and used the RushCard to cover the hold for incidentals. Over a week later this transaction is still pending. I have called the hotel who says that they released it at checkout. I then called Rush who said that they require a fax from the hotel to release the auth. I called the hotel back and though abnormal agreed to fax the requested information. To this point the transaction is still pending and after speaking with a “manager” I was told if I didn’t like their hold policy that I should not have used their card. Really??? I have been a Rush customer and was taken back by this comment. Maybe me and many others should take his advice and use another service!

    I originally signed up with RushCard around 2014; I uses it sometimes but not very often because I was satisfied with the company I was with for my direct deposit and everyday transaction which was through American Express. As some of you may know American Express isn't accepted everywhere so I gave RushCard a try. It was okay at first but then my direct deposit would show up late - I checked with my job and they advised they already released payroll so it's up to my bank to release funds. 1st strike.

    I paid for something in person and was overcharged by 30 dollars - I went to the merchant and they advised it's up to my bank to release the funds that is owed to me. The overcharge has happened more than once however I only called about it on one occasion and could not be helped. They advise it would take a week to be refunded which was not acceptable because I had just moved and need to get food for my apartment. Then overcharging me was not my fault. 2nd strike.

    When talking to them they act like they don't care nor understand your issue. I don't know about anyone else but I'm not rich and I pay my bills and don't call this company causing problems. But the one time I call with an issue they could not help me. Strike 3. I have switched my bank back to my old one and do not recommend this card company at all. If you do decide to go with them be prepared for the headache of your life.

    I have been with RushCard since 2011 and has never had a issue with getting my deposits manually released back to my card until now. I stayed at a hotel and had to pay a deposit which they released when I checked out but RushCard has been holding it for days now. Customer service representatives is very, very, very rude and unprofessional. I asked to speak to a supervisor. They left me on hold for an hour then hung up. I called back and a different representative told me it going to be a 2-3 hour hold to speak to a supervisor then immediately placed me on hold not even allowing me to respond.

    When I finally spoke to a supervisor he was also rude then called the hotel on 3-way and verified that they already released my deposit but after that he hung up on me. It's been 3 days since the supervisor called and verified but RushCard still haven't released my deposit yet. I called back today spoke with a supervisor and a manager and they both spoke to me very rude. They are definitely losing me as a customer!!!

    I have been a RushCard member since 2012, in May of 2018 I had filed a dispute with RushCard for a company at the time I didn't know who they were. After doing some investigating dispute came back denied said that the charges were accurate. I said, "Okay. That's fine. I understand..." So during the dispute process RushCard did a charge back to the company for one transaction for 280.00 & another transaction for 530 12... these were payments that were made to my finance company... but RushCard never credit my account back for neither transaction.

    My finance company said that once RushCard did the chargeback they were supposed to put the money back in my account. They never did. This problem has been going on for a month and RushCard had of yet put the money back in my account. I'm getting to the point of about to find a lawyer 'cause this is crazy. I have been with the company too long to be treated like this and RushCard is doing absolutely nothing. Worst bank ever. I'm thinking about closing both of my accounts with RushCard & I would never refer anyone to them!

    I’ve been a customer of RushCard since 2017. June 7th somehow my card was duplicated and someone wiped my account out $855.00 from an Apple iPhone store. I was advised to call Apple since the charge was pending still, and also advised by RushCard customer service I wasn’t the only person this happen to. Upon calling Apple I was advise my bank will have file disputed with my bank. 6/8 the charge cleared and I filed the disputed, provided them with police report information.

    Was told I’ll be provided with a provisional credit in 10 day. Come Day 10 was advised there was no error found. My claim closed. I’m livid. You mean to tell me I’m in one location with my card and my ID in purse, and someone with a duplicated fraudulent card is another location made a purchase wiped my account out AND YOU FIND NO ERROR IN THAT. I’m a single mother 3 kids. This was my mortgage payment. Your bank is supposed to make you feel protected, but instead I’m left feeling as if I did something wrong.

    So what happens to my money. I’m just supposed go on and act like I wasn’t robbed. They tell me write a letter and in 45 days something can be possibly be done. I have the Apple store helping me to provide proof it was me, certified statements from my coworker and dance sisters from church to account for my whereabouts this day. I’m praying something is done, almost feel like this is bad dream. I’ve never felt so helpless and abandoned in my life. How could this bank treat so many people like this.

    Needless to say I will never use this card. I’m closing this out and stopping all my direct deposits. RushCard is horrible. I wouldn’t recommend them unless you have money you can afford to lose. 1-2 day early deposit isn’t worth poor customer service and banking with frauds. I wouldn’t recommend RushCard for anyone I was better off cashing my check at a liquor store and just letting someone snatch my purse filled with cash that’s > RushCard service. I’m going to news. I’m looking into help from others. Something has to be done.

    2 months ago someone took money from my account 2x and it had already been taken out. Notified RushCard. They said because it was not pending they could not do anything about it. When I called the first time it was pending and I was told I had to wait until it was not pending. Never got my money back. TODAY they suspended my account for a card I never got in the mail as a replacement card and now they said I had to wait 3 business days for my account to be restored!!! Today I'm expecting a direct deposit on my card and every Tuesday I get government funds deposited to my account!!! I Mr my account restored Now so I can access my account to get food!!!     How they handle several disputed transactions - They are lead on a mouse chase for three weeks. On 6/21/18 I was told by a supervisor to expect my provisional credit by last night. I called on 6/22/18 to get money after not receiving the credit and was Told I'm not receiving credit. I should have received the decision in the mail.     My son is 17 and he got his first job so he wanted to get a RushCard for his deposit. Well he could because the process is horrible. They ask for verification. I understand the need for that. They want ID, social, proof of address, I seen that everything is accepted but the proof address which is a state document of health insurance with his name and address. Nope. Not accepted. They want a bill. He's 17 a award letter he don't get a check stub. Well he just started the job. Why is the process for a teen to get a card is so crazy??? And I recommend the RushCard. There are 6 people including me!!! I know uses this card and they didn't have to send not a thing in for verification. I'm so disappointed.

    Today I was at the car dealership, having my car serviced. When I went to pay the bill, my RushCard would not process on the dealership's end. It kept coming back rejected, as if I did not have the funds available. I assure you that I had plenty to cover the charges. When I looked at my account, the dollar amount had been taken from my RushCard balance, and showed as a transaction. This amount was also below the daily spending limit. When I called RushCard, there is no option through the automated system to speak to a representative. After just pushing random buttons, I was connected to a human being. Well... after a 25 minute wait on hold. Mind you I am still at the dealership trying to pay for services. Talk about embarrassing!

    Once I was finally connected to a customer service representative, the guy was very difficult to understand. I am not against foreigners, but this guy was ridiculous! I could not understand a thing that he was saying. I had to constantly ask him to repeat what he said. The representative was not helpful whatsoever! I had to hang up on the guy, due to his lack of knowledge and helpfulness, and my ability to understand him. This is not the 1st time that I have had this issue with RushCard. I have been a cardholder for about 9 years. I will be closing my account with RushCard.

    My whole family has RushCard cards lately. When I use my card my transactions are being denied when the funds are available. This is happening with all family members especially at Walmart. The other day I had to go to atm in Walmart in order to pay for transaction. There is a hefty fee associated with withdrawal from out of network atm so I was not happy but Walmart isn’t only place I tried to pay for my medication at my local pharmacy and it was also denied at a gas station also. What is going on. I never had this problem before. Called RushCard and they blamed Walmart but Walmart isn’t the only place and it doesn’t happen all the time. I have had RushCard for several years and am otherwise happy with company.

    RushCard is the worst ever and I would NEVER EVER NEVER REFER ANYONE to them. I called RushCard and reported my card lost on May 26th, and requested an expedited card. The rep I spoke with told me that I wouldn't receive my card until the 29th due to the holiday. The rep also stated that my card would be sent to a UPS store and to call on the 29th to get the tracking number and find out which UPS store to pick up the package from. I stated okay. I called on the on the 29th and the rep I spoke to stated that there was no tracking number yet and that my card would be coming to my house not a UPS store and to call back the next day which was the 30th to get the tracking number.

    I called back on the 30th and was given a tracking number. I tracked the package and it was said to arrive at 10:30 am on the 30th. At 11 am when the package hadn't arrived I called UPS and they asked me for the address the package was supposed to go to. I told them and they stated it wasn't the address on the package and to contact the sender. I in return called RushCard and then 3-way called UPS and figured out it was a mix up in RushCard's labeling dept and the card was returned to them.

    RushCard then requested that I send current documentation with my current address. I did that, and every time I sent a document it was rejected saying it wasn't sufficient enough. They then told me I could send a letter from my school which I did, then they wanted a handwritten letter from me asking that the documents I sent be used to update my address. I did that. Still not good enough, then I was asked to rewrite the letter, put my old address and my new address, I did that. They told me all my documents were accepted and I had to wait 24-48 hrs for it to be accepted by their corporate office, which is what I had to do every time I sent over a document. Just to have them keep saying it's not enough or sufficient. As of today 06/19/2018 I still have yet to receive my card and I don't know what to do. I have sent everything they have asked of me and yet they still won't send me my card.

    I graduated with honors on 06/06/2018 and missed my honor ceremony because I didn't have the money to go and had to borrow money that have yet to pay back just to get to my graduation. I wasn't even able to take pictures or anything because I didn't have any money. How do you make up your college graduation? You can't! The stress and inconvenience, and mental anguish of it all is taking a toll on me cause I'm lost and don't know what to do at this point. They have my money and won't give it to me and it's as if there is nothing I can do about it. They tell me there is no one past a manager that I can speak with. So what do I do? Can someone anyone help me? Please, please, please. I'm begging for help!!

    I received my RushCard in the mail. I began the activation process only to have them activate my card with an email address I never seen before. When I tried to contact customer support to resolve this issue I received an automated response telling me to log into my account (which I cannot log into because they sent my activation email to the wrong address). I spent the next hour on the phone trying to reach a resolution to my problem without success. Ridiculous. I do not recommend this card to anyone. It's a complete scam.

    So my fiance filed a dispute on June 1st and was told that there was no need to send a replacement card so been using for 10 business days exactly to only go into a 7/11 and be declined, then go to an ATM also declined. So been on the phone now as I'm typing this, speaking with the Supervisor by the name Mel EID# ** who states that there is nothing she can do to reactivate this card and here it is Father's Day weekend and he has no money. She as well as the prior dispute rep Cathy EID# **. He requested to not be placed on hold and was put on hold several times, then they clearly have no idea what they are doing. Russell Simmons you put your name on a card to only hire foreigners who are definitely not trained. I've recorded the entire conversation for over 2 hrs to get nowhere.

    He never gave them authorization to closed his acct. We are going to speak with an attorney on Mon and play them the recording of the conversation especially the part where both representatives admitted they/RushCard was at fault. So being they are overseas I'm assuming they don't have to follow by US Consumers Laws. So we are extremely frustrated with no money for the holidays as well as gas in the car. It's now 3 hrs and still as I'm typing this for him and still no avail. Mel even got loud a few times with him and still says we can't reactivate his card. Mel says she's the only Supervisor that RushCard hired for disputes. After reading some reviews I see a lot of transaction speaking on Mel. Mel needs to be fired immediately. She said, "They offshores." Lol.

    Now funny thing is they tell him that his dispute was closed and they found no fault sooo why closed his card? She said it should of been 14 calendar days/10 business days and they messed up. So he the consumer supposed to suck it up and when asked that exact question she told him, "Yep. Suck it up." I sooo hope his call was recorded, she kept answering questions that wasn't even asked of her and repeating herself. Poor customer service all around. Only option she gave after saying it wasn't an option is he can expedite the replacement card for $30.00 and she can't waive the fee. So RushCard is at fault. Clearly admitted to it but yet he supposed to pay for their mistakes. Smh. I hope someone gets back to us ASAP or I'm going to see about a class-action lawsuit because this ridiculous.

    My daughter had my card and she lost the card along with the PIN number attached (so she can remember it). Well somebody went to the ATM, took all my money out and now they said they seen no error. Coincidentally on the same day I was told they were gonna give me a provisional credit. Now my bills are behind and in order for me to reopen my dispute I have to open a whole new dispute and wait 30 days just for an answer... sooo pissed off. I been with them since 2007 so I’m not gonna be a member of RushCard for long.

    Yes RushCard is a fraud taking from poor working people hidden amounts of money from their tax funds. RushCard took 43 from my state income tax. This is the first time and last time I use them. I tried speaking to customer care. They are not good speaking English and are very aware of the problem and explain they don’t have a dispute office or a person to solve this. Well you fooled me once. Shame on you Rush. Second time would be my fault. Yeah I pass on rich crooks. Thanks for letting me know how you make your money! Off poor working grandmothers like me.

    I've been a customer since 2015. No problems until I tried to dispute a claim totaling $320.00. I was told that I would receive a dispute form via email that had to be printed and sent in. But... had no means of printing it from my phone. Which by the way was some days after the "10 day" period or whatever. They informed me the process could take up to 90 days for a resolution. Upon inquiring about receiving a paper form in the mail the representative informed me (after calling back and waiting to get it in the mail) they had the wrong address on file which I updated previously.

    After all of this and returning the forms my dispute was denied. After 80 something days. Their explanation was no error was found??? Why not? There definitely was an error on their part numerous of times. I've never had this issue before and I NEED my money back! This sucks. They expect you to do just drop it and forget about YOUR money! What happened to customer service. Never use them again. I will never recommend them in the future. Matter of a fact I may just tell anyone DON'T DO IT.

    I’ve been waiting for my money since April 18. I’ve been waiting patiently but it seems like nothing is working. I’m about to ask who can I talk to at corporate office. No one at RushCard can help me. I was getting my direct deposit to my card. I was out shopping with my card when it was canceled So I decided to cancel the whole card. I’ve been waiting on my remaining balance. It is June now. I believe I should be compensated due to the lack of employees at RushCard. I talked to so many representatives since April 18. It is now June 7. My direct deposit I get my money from Social Security and thinking about filing a lawsuit due to the facts RushCard do not investigate like a bank. Big facts. I am going to report this to the news that there should be an investigation on RushCard. It does not make any sense that 4100 and some odd people are damn near reporting the same thing. My biggest problem it’s been almost 90 days. There should be some kind of help.

    I lost my card last month and someone used it. I filed a complaint with RushCard and was advised by everyone that I turned in everything that needed to be turned in and I would have my money back in 10 business days. There was a total of $337.50 taken out of my account and I called every other day to see if the process could be faster and each person told me no. It would take the whole 10 days but my money was for sure going to be back in my account. Now today after calling to find out information because my money was not in my account, I was told that the dispute was closed and they did not see any errors. I turned in all of the documents and was told that there was no error. My money is gone, my card was used without my authorization and they found no errors. I asked her how did they not and the lady just told me that the response was final and that was it. I will NEVER bank with them again or recommend anyone else to.

    I used the atm, but because of some technical difficulties my transaction did not complete. The money was still deducted from my account in the amount of $483. RushCard reps keep telling me the systems are down. Nothing they can do, but refuse to admit the system outage has anything to do with my funds disappearing from my account. I cannot keep calling Rush every day for hour, I need assistance immediately.

    I have had RushCard for a year now and every time I call Customer Service... I get 0 issues resolved. That’s right 0. I have waited 3 weeks for a dispute credit on fraudulent charges. I have spoken to Supervisors and Managers. The Dispute Dept. Supervisor “Mel”, clearly was unwilling to understand the problem. Everytime I have called CS, they have given me a different date. I have had to put off going to Urgent Care to treat a severe ear infection from black mold. Now, in result of waiting so long, I have lost my hearing. I filed reports with the BBB and they informed me that I'm not the first one. RushCard has many complaints for the same reason. Customer Service acts like every single thing is a secret that the customer shouldn't know. So I ask, “Why is it called customer service if they only serve Russell Simmons and not the customers." I do not recommend this card if you depend on your money being where you left it.

    My card was compromised, I immediately called to advise them. I did receive the dispute form right away (the only positive). I found out they have an outdated address, and the only way to update it was write a statement asking for an update, along with my ID, and social security card. Which was done 5/23 and 5/24. I was told I’d get a provisional credit in 6/7, which is ridiculous. I’ve called on three different times to check on my new card being processed, which by the way to get it in two days would be $30, after my card was compromised. First it wasn’t received, then it was, then I was told, "Allow the back office 24/48 hours to update the address." I called Tuesday to be told it wasn’t done but would be manually done, that day.

    I called today to confirm, still no update but was told an offline escalation would be sent and to allow another 24/48 hours. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was placed on hold for over 10 mins, someone picked up the phone several times, and without saying anything placed me back on hold. Before that I asked if I could close the card out, and receive a check. The answer was no. I am livid. Not to yo mention they neglected to tell me in the very beginning that once a card is blocked it can’t be reactivated, had I been told that I would have removed the funds I did have left before I allowed them to block it. I am totally dissatisfied with the company and I’m finally able to access my funds. This card will be destroyed!!!

    Updated on 06/07/2018: Finally I was told my docs have been received to learn that they were rejected, when I asked why wasn’t I contacted they said they don’t contact customers we have to call them. I have been in the phone with company more than with my own family these past few weeks. Yet have now received and accepted my docs and have to wait 1-2 business days for corporate to update my address even though the rep told me it shows in the system. I asked to have my card expedited and have the $30 fee waived since I’ve had nothing but issues (on their end). That request was denied. That’s the least they could have done.

    Nobody there cares about customers satisfaction. They responded to my first review by asking me to reply privately...why?? If 32 phone calls, and 8 faxes couldn’t resolve anything in a timely manner, what good is a private message going to do??? As soon as I get my card I will withdraw my funds, and I’m burning the damn card.

    I have been with RushCard for 9 years. In 2015 their system crashed and a lot of people were stranded some instances for weeks. This didn't affect me so I was unaware of it. In April of this year I planned a trip to Thailand. I had everything paid for. I wanted to replace my cheap card for a new one because you couldn't see the numbers anymore. They told me it would take 5-7 business days and I could still use the old one. Almost 3 weeks later no card. I ask them to send me another one. They tell me I can do a 2 day service. I ask them, "Can I still use my old card." They tell me yes. So I tell them to send it regular thinking that if it doesn't come in time I'll just use my old one.

    A couple days before my trip I try to use my card and it's blocked. I miss my plane to Bangkok. So not to let a 2 week vacation go to waste I book a trip to Veracruz, Mexico. I work in San Diego but live in Tijuana, Mexico. We're talking less than $500 for transportation & an apartment. I get to Veracruz and I can't use my card anywhere. I call them and they tell me that the card is temporarily blocked because the system showed that the activity was outside my billing area. That was 4 days ago and it has not been resolved yet. I've been living on the $30 I had in my pocket when I got here and I have to leave Friday on a bus to Mexico City which is going to cost me about $31 that I don't have access to right now. In other words this company is not the same company that it was 4 yrs ago, especially for traveling to another country. THEY SUCK!!!

    On January 25th I got an email notifying me that RushCard closed my account and they were sending me a bill payment check and I should receive it within 7 to 10 business days after January 25th. I have been calling since February 17th twice a week to get the status of the check that they sent or to cancel that check and send me a new one and nothing has happened. It is now May 30th and I still have no check and they still keep on telling me they have not received a response from their corporate office. Is there really a corporate office? I don't understand this. I have been in customer service for over 30 years and this is the worst I've ever dealt with. I have been the frustrated customer, the nice customer, the customer that cusses you out and it has gotten me NOWHERE. I have talked to several supervisors (RAMON, JOSE, MGR NAMED YVONNE). I really don't believe these are their names.

    The agent say, "Wow yes. You have called plenty of times looking for the status of this but I don't have a status so can you call back within 48 hours." 5 months of a lot of calling back and still nothing. They don't care! So I will be calling back in another two days to get the status of the escalation. (20 escalation sent) This is getting ridiculous. They have even lied and said that they sent it checked out and I should receive it within 7 to 10 business days back in April and guess what nothing! I do not recommend RushCard to ANYBODY!

    I am gonna file a lawsuit against RushCard and MetaBank. Some of my money is missing out of my account and every day I call, someone gives me a new policy or they give me the same answer but no results. I was supposed to have a provisional credit applied to my account which has yet to happen. Regulation E of the FDIC states banks must issue and release funds within 10 days after receiving a complaint. I’m taking this one to court.

    I have this card for convenience to keep my actual banking info offline. And I must say it is horrible! I recently rented a U-Haul truck for a move, this card had more money on it in the moment so I used it for the deposit hold. U-Haul assured me I would get that money back within 3-5 days. It’s now 7 days since I paid U-Haul in full the balance I had owed them with another funding source & RushCard is claiming they have up to 10 days to hold my funds! This is the worst experience I’ve ever had out of a prepaid debit card. Not only are their fees excessive. When I called to try and address this situation, they don’t even have an option to speak to a live agent on their ‘automated phone system.’ How can a financial services company actually be allowed to get away with that! Seriously! #grabYourWallet Don’t use this card! It sucks & the company behind it sucks too!

    I have been calling RushCard for the past week about a hold on my account and the issue still has not been resolved. I have spoken with 3 different supervisors who all tell me the same thing. That my funds would be available sometime today or tomorrow. I have been told this since the 14th. I am a single mother of 3 who is a full time student and worker. So for me to wait almost 2 weeks for something that should have taken 2 or 3 days. To RushCard it might not be a lot but to a single mother of 3 100 is a lot. And as of today May 23rd my funds still have not been released. They have confirmed that they have received all the necessary information from the merchant authorizing the release but still nothing has been corrected. I have to borrow money from people for gas money and other expenses until payday which means I'm losing money and am being set back because of this. I just want my money back.

    So my card just all of a sudden stop working. No fault of my own. I called in to report it and they want me to pay $5 and they said it's nothing they can do on their end. What type of crap is that. It's not expired nor is it bent or damaged. Then to make matters worse, all that I was able to talk to was people who you can't understand a bit of their English. I will never recommend RushCard to anyone. I am very dissatisfied with Kormora and Russell. They can shove this card right where the sun don't shine???

    When I saw RushCard, I read about it and decided to go ahead with it. RushCard is for me to take care of my monthly bills, which is what it was designed for. I really like that with the direct deposit, I can get my money in advance. However, the only hiccup about it is paying $1 for each transaction. Each time I swipe my card, they charge for it. Also, I rarely use the reload option because I’m also charged about $4 for it. But, other than that, it is fine. Also, RushCard helps me out when I call.

    I have had a RushCard and have been using it for my direct deposit ever since 2010. I had a situation where I was "unavailable" for six months. My direct deposits were still being sent to the card. When I checked my balance most of the money was gone. It would have been physically impossible for me to use my card. I called the company and they seemed understanding about the situation told me that I will get a courtesy credit after 10 days not to worry. I have been a customer for 8 years and everything will be okay. On the day I was supposed to get a partial refund I was told that it was my fault that I left the information with someone and I need to go look to them to get my refund which was untrue. There was a communication problem with the dispute Department. I couldn't hardly understand what they were saying and most of the time they were very rude.

    Over the eight years I've had this card I've never had any issues or problems and now all of a sudden when I use the dispute Department after 8 years of no problems with the card at all I am receiving no help and my case was closed. I had to send a rebuttal letter to the company to get the case reopened and every time I call to check on it I get the runaround. I'm a military veteran and I have mine check sent to this card every month I'm very disappointed in the service and their lack of sympathy to my situation. As of today I just called still getting the runaround not knowing when or if I will get my money back. After this is all over I'm seriously considering just a regular account because if anything ever happens I'm not confident that I would have the support I need from customer service.

    I'm very disappointed and disgusted because this is put me in a very bad financial situation. Thousands of dollars are missing and I have not used it. I do not recommend this card in this day and age when people can so easily access your information because there is no guarantee that the company will feel the need to give you your money back. I feel like its uses are being made so I don't get my refund. I have sent 32 pages of information confirming that I was not using the card at that time. Fax it over 50 pages. This is ridiculous. There are so many other cards out the other choose from. I don't recommend this one because if you ever have a problem with fraud of any kind more than likely you will not get your money back. And if me being a customer for almost 10 years is any indication of their loyalty and sad to say new customers will not stand a chance.

    Using my RushCard enables me to put a certain amount on things that I don’t feel too secure about someone coming in and getting. That way, I can use it to pay bills and it’s been very convenient. The only complaint I have is that they changed the places we can go and withdraw from. At one time, there were machines all around that I could go in and withdraw money that I’ve had put on the card from with no fee. And then Walmart was just one place I could go and use my card. And then the free stopped from there and I had to find another location, and Apple Credit Union was one. Now I can go to CVS but RushCard switches locations every time which is an inconvenience and I don’t find out until I go to do it. Also there’s a bank fee when it should be free or they don’t accept my card at all. This is bad. But other than that, RushCard has worked fine for me.

    My interactions with the RushCard customer service team has been positive majority of the time. If money was taken that shouldn’t have been, I’ve gotten it back. They worked with me and got on it right away. A couple of times, I’ve had people that they couldn’t understand me and I couldn’t understand them. And I have to keep calling in order to get someone that spoke English and understood English. Nevertheless, I have recommended RushCard to people.

    I have been a customer with RushCard for over 5 years now and this will be my LAST YEAR! This company is a nightmare. I only signed up for RushCard because of how my bills are set up and the pay is supposed to be 2 days before your scheduled at date. They used to be great until allegedly they got a new bank. My name is hyphenated and it has been all of my life. I set up my account using just one of my last names as I normally do. In 2014 I was asked to send in my driver's license and social security card due to my IRS tax refund showing my full name with both last names. Ok I understand so I send them the documents and of course they are approved. I had nooo issues until starting last year when I started to get my deposits later and later. So I asked about it and was informed that they would need those documents AGAIN!

    Why would you need them again if it's already in your system and approved? No one can answer that question, everyone says "oh that is just policy" but no one can seem to explain why it disappeared from my account. I still getting my deposits for employment and IRS refunds BUT it's late because supposedly it has to be manually posted to my account AFTER being reversed back to my employer first. The "manager" kept saying, "Yes I can see that in 2014 we requested documents and you did send them, however we need them again because they are no longer valid." My social security card has NOT CHANGED!!! This is horrible so I am closing my RushCard account as soon as my funds are released. They are unprofessional and are only programmed to apologize. No one can give valid information. I am letting EVERYONE know DO NOT use this company. It's not worth it!!!

    Rushcard was prepaid at the time and I'm not a person to do bank account, so it was convenient for me. I utilize a reload location and I used to have direct deposit, and I've had some pretty good experiences. The only thing I didn’t approve of was when they stopped using CVS as a place for you to let you reload your card. They should have sent out notices because I loaded a few hundred dollars on my card and I was not aware that CVS doesn’t load anymore. It took several weeks for them to reimburse my money back off of my card. I had another incident a week before last when Amazon took money off of my card and Rushcard can't tell me how it came about, just that it came from Amazon. And I've been waiting on them to correct that issue and it still hasn’t been corrected.

    My been w/ RushCard since November 2017 and of course the payday earlier is what attracted me. Everything started out just fine but for the past month I started getting my direct deposit later in the day on Friday. Most recently I have a pending charge on my account that’s has been going on from almost 2 weeks. I've called and speaker to three different reps & and 2 supervisors and everyone gave me a different answer. I still haven’t got my money back. I would recommend NEVER using RushCard. They are not a good company!

    I've been with RushCard since 2015 or 16 or so. Now for the first time I had a direct deposit from the IRS which was my tax money onto my card that I had to dispute because I never received it and never got it. The card was stolen and I put a dispute within that week. I do not have text notification because I have the whole totally different new number that I've been have the last last year. Now I would do anything news reporters BBB all the above to get what's owed to me. I don't understand it. It's not like RushCard gave me the money. The IRS gave me my money that I work hard for. I wouldn't recommend nobody for this card. This is absurd and I will get to the bottom of this.

    I was already in the process of changing banks when I experienced ANOTHER horrible ordeal with RushCard and their customer service. Hopefully this will be the last one before I switch over in a week. Last night I noticed that there were funds missing from my account. Upon further investigation, I found out that I had 4 unauthorized withdrawals taken from my account. I called RushCard immediately to file a dispute. Not only was the customer service horrible as always, but they blocked my account without warning, and told me this was "company policy".

    I now have zero access to my funds and have to wait 7-10 business days for a new card to come in the mail, mind you my direct deposit hits my account in 5 days. They also gave ME an option to have a card expedited to me for a 35$ fee, even though they are the ones who blocked my account without authorization. After reading some of the other complaints, I can only imagine what kind of ordeal I will be going through while attempting to get my funds back that were taken from my account. I can not WAIT to leave this company for good. Very disappointed in Russell Simmons. They ruined my week, possible 2.

    Well I order a product and never received it once. I realized that it was taking a month, I decided to try and contact them and stop payment to get a refund. Well it took them a week to contact me back and they told me I would have my money. I still haven’t received anything the product or the money. I ordered the product 04/11/2018. I got the response 04/25/2018 finally after many attempts to the contacts they made available. It’s been longer than they said that I would receive my refund. I also have a complaint against RushCard for not stopping the payment when asked. Yet they put in a dispute, canceled my card and sent haven’t stop payment yet. Told me I’d have to wait for a 90 day review.

    I have been with RushCard since 2004. I use this card daily, monthly, paying bills and making purchases. It was very convenient for me. Today I found out my account has been closed without any notification or reasoning of why. I cannot speak with corporate. I have to wait for a letter in the mail per RushCard. This is a big inconvenience for me as I was in the process of loading money to my card to pay my monthly bills today. I found out that I am not the only person whose card or account has been closed suspiciously all of a sudden by RushCard or MetaBank as RushCard says.

    My best friend just tried to access her account online which states closed and was told the same thing from RushCard. When she called with no explanation. My son's account has been closed today as well. No explanation. My daughter-in-law's account closed today. No explanation. Only thing we're told is any money on the card would be sent in 30 Days by paper check. Really? I'm pissed. I need explanations. We've done nothing for Agilent. We only got the cards because they were convenient for transferring Monies family member to family member when needed. I need explanations ASAP.

    I heard about RushCard from the Russell Simmons show and I thought that at the time, RushCard was offering something that was a little bit better than what the competition was. A lot of the prepaid cards always had extra fees so I figured I would give RushCard a try. It's been about five years since I've had RushCard and it has the flexibility of having direct deposits. I have my Social Security come on it and if you're dealing with basic stuff, RushCard makes things easier, like getting groceries, paying for things, dealing with expenses and making online purchases. I've basically become disabled and with the direct deposit, I don't have to go and refill like on other prepaid cards.

    In the past, I had an issue because there was a back due amount of funds from Social Security. When I called in customer service, it was like a place in India and they were telling me that they were holding my money for some reason. There was no clear explanation why or what the story was until a few calls later. I found that they were holding my money because they said it was an amount that was above the limit. But not only had I given them information previously, the information was in the direct deposit that was coming from the government. I didn't understand why that was an issue at all. It was a needless frustration to deal with.

    After getting three of these cards that I didn't not order my daughter got me to use it. I am on a fixed income and don't get to talk to my husband very much. After cleaning rooms all day I came up with 25 dollars to load on here so I could fund my husband's account so we can talk. But when I did I came to find out this card took almost all of the 20 dollars I put on it so now I can't talk to my husband. I have stage 4 terminal cancer. Every second I get a chance to speak to my husband is vital because we don't know when or if it's our last time to speak.

    I called the number. They informed me I had no choice but to take their 8 dollar unlimited plan charge plus the 4 dollar charge. I am not allowed to choose and I will not be refunded. Then when I asked to speak to someone higher they left me on hold for 15 minutes before they hung up on me not letting me talk to anyone. Then I find out online if I close my account they take my money and hold it for a month. I don't have but 6 to 8 weeks left to live so they robbed a sick dying woman. Thanks RushCard. Now we know how you got rich off of using and abusing poor people. I only use prepaid cards for online. I don't need it card that bad.

    I have been with Rush Card for 13 years now. I have watched the company go downhill as time passes. They are not upfront with customers, they lie and heaven forbid you have to call into customer support. Don't ask for a supervisor because you will not be able to speak with one. They will keep you on hold for long periods of time, or just hang up altogether. Russell Simmons or whomever owns the company need to stop being so darn cheap and get people who are customer service ready. Also stop lying about entries because we all know that it's just not true. Oh and referral fees and early deposits are a joke as well. I will be switching and taking my business elsewhere. I honestly feel that if we stop giving them our business they will be either forced to get right or shut down. Either way they need to revamp their entire process, company and customer service.

    RushCard make it hard to dispute a transaction, also the CUSTOMER SERVICE sucks. I have a recorded call (I called from my work phone) from RushCard customer service. They are rude, talk over you and disconnect the line while you’re trying to figure out what is going on with your money. Y’all take my money every month and hang up on me while I’m trying to figure out how to get a new card and dispute transactions. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. I will be closing my RushCard account as well as letting everyone of the 15 people I REFERRED to cancel their accounts as well. Just HORRIBLE.

    I'm leaving Rush... I get paid on Fridays. My funds be on my Rush Card on Thursday the day before I get paid but for some reason I find myself waiting until Friday afternoon for my money to be on my card. It's been happening too much now. Someone stole my entire check off my card from a whole different state and the only way I knew was because of my transaction alerts which I no longer get.     After 10 years and posting good ratings, no more Rushcard - Been using RushCard as a primary account since 04/2008 and have referred family and friends to the company. For the last few months no mobile transaction alerts, even after working with support a few times. As of March 2018 new atm network (AllPoint) that only allow withdrawals at CVS, Rite Aid, or Walgreens for no-fee transactions. Then today found out during an emergency that the ATM withdrawal limits has changed. Rushcard never had a monthly atm withdrawal limit but I was told that I will not be able to use an ATM until May 1st. Today is 4/23. Note to RushCard: Utilize the mobile app or sms features to inform users of major changes. Today's society is almost 100% mobile-based.

    Since they no longer use MoneyPass ATM the pickings are slim in NJ and Philadelphia for 24-hour atm locations with no fees. Plus AllPoint ATMs only let you withdrawal a minimum of $20 (MoneyPass is $10) and a maximum of $200 (MoneyPass $600). It's also weird that it is not free at all AllPoint ATMs either. Only the one at the 3 retailers I mentioned. Wtf. Also, I was also unable to transfer funds from my card to another cardholder for almost 2 months. Support said that the other person's account may have went over the monthly limit but they didn't. They had no transfers for that month. Period! And I tried it with 2 different cardholders. Up until last month I was getting direct deposits on Thursdays and sometimes even Wednesdays.

    Now I get paid the same day as everyone else... What happen to the "up to 2 days faster" deposits I've been getting since 2008? There are so many changes that broke the flow at this point that I have to move to another prepaid. Much of the freedom and perks that attracted me to Rushcard are now defunct. When I asked support about the changes to the ATM network and the fees that I incurred at once-in-network ATMs the agent said they sent out a letter... Snail Mail... in 2018. Amazing. I guess once Russell Simmons got hit with allegations everything went downhill. What a coincidence.

    I have been a customer with Rush Card for over 10 years. I even stayed with the company through the fiasco last year when funds were unavailable for over a month due to an update to their service. Recently the Magnetic strip on my card stopped working. I ordered a new card, and soon after the strip on the new card stopped working as well. When I called customer service to request a new card I was asked to pay for another replacement. I had done nothing wrong to the card and expressed that I should not have to pay for a product that did not function as promised. I was told that the fee was unable to be waived.

    I would not have a problem paying the fee if the need for the replacement was my fault i.e. if the card was lost or stolen. My cards stay in a protective pouch until I use them to prevent damage from happening to them. So I don't believe the reason that they don't work has anything to do with me. I know the fee seems like such a small thing, however, is the principal. The fact that Rush Card takes no ownership or responsibility for defective merchandise strongly makes me believe that this is not an organization that I should choose to use for my money management.

    On more than one occasion Rush Card has screwed me and has never owned their negligence. For a second time in the past year I don't have access to my funds. The whole reason I have the account is to have simple banking options and now I can't even use the card. Once I have confirmed that my direct deposit has been updated to my regular bank account I will be closing my account with Rush Card.

    My online account was blocked, so I had to call the 866 # to get my direct deposit ID. The 866 # gave me the ID number to my old account which was used to direct deposit my taxes. I was calling for a few days looking for my taxes and finally I was able to speak to a representative. They were no help. They told me they only have one account for me when I had two. One was closed, it was the reason I couldn't get into my online account. My money is gone, deposited into a closed account. I gave the representative the account # my refund was deposited in and she basically told me there isn't anything they could do to help me.

    Over 5000 dollars just disappeared. I been trying to get into my online account for over a year with no success and magically after my money is deposited into a closed account which they have no record of (but I do because the card was used online and linked to several accounts) I can now get into my online account. I JUST WANT MY MONEY!! RushCard messed up and gave me the wrong direction deposit ID and now I can't get my money. I need my money, I'm not working right now and my daughter is about to graduate. I'm getting a lawyer and I'm looking into how I can legally get my money back.

    Rushcard LLC, Lascivious dispute resolution tactics. Fraudulent charges were made online with my debit card. I.E. (nor-dtfee.com INTERNET MT) for over $400. Only after the police were contacted and a report ascertained, I was forced to have card reissued at my expense for $35. I was informed of a 45 day investigation period, which included a provisional credit of funds until final resolution. I was given inconsistent information with proactive correspondence, at least 5 different CSR's assured me of a temporary credit. I never received a credit and a they have the gall to state that a in-depth, thorough investigation was completed in a mere 7 days and concluded that although a police report was filed the merchant assured them that the charges were correct.

    Repetitively apologizing not being able to help me understand who the merchant is, contact information or anything. They also refuse to allow any direct assistance from any of the investigators in the fraud dept. No number or contact information at all. Suggesting I would have to write a letter to appeal a denial without understanding why I was denied. I made at least 12 calls within 5 days to get treated with such impudence through the entire ordeal. This treatment after allowing almost 5 years of both excessive, exorbitant surcharges and fees, for this Utility was not worth it by a long shot. Relieved only by the foresight for NO DIRECT DEPOSIT.

    I have been waiting for a dispute to be resolved due to errors 5,543.00. This should never happen to people when they put money in accounts. I have been told different things and days my funds would be on the account. RushCard has been very unprofessional in handle my case but I will not stop until they pay me all my funds back to my card.

    Updated on 4/24/2018: Now they are sending another card after closing my account. No advance notice because I made a complaint against their company. This is outrageous. What kind of scams are they running? The merchants are giving my money back but it has to be returned by the same method. I was speaking to a supervisor who was very very unprofessional not resolving or caring about customer. If this is RushCard way they are in for trouble. There is no telling how many people has been a victim of RushCard. RUSSELL SIMMONS if this is your company and way of business this will not last long. The game is up.     My card was compromised, so they blocked the card. I filled out an affidavit and the money was returned to my card. However, now I have a card that does not work with my paycheck being sent to it. I recently moved, so in order to get a new card they want a proof of address. That should be a simple enough task. No. I have sent them a progressive insurance mail, bank statements, print screen of the bank's computer, proof of insurance, my insurance cards, a medical statement, and my car registration. All denied. It has been a week of sending documents and I'm out of money, my paycheck is going to a place I can't access, and I have bills I can't pay. RushCard is ruining my life.

    I have been a customer with Rush for over 10yrs... I had a card that the scan strip was worn off and was declining my transactions at restaurants and stores. I contacted Rush to get another card. I explained to the issues that the card worked at most places but not all and I need a new card. The rep explained that since it was not lost or stolen I could still you that card until the new one arrived. I got to withdraw to pay my bills and the cards states it's a incorrect type of card. I called Rush back to find out that they cancelled my card. Not only was it cancelled but they never sent a new card out because they said something about the replacement card was never activated in the allotted amount of time. Mind you I'm still waiting on that card.

    Long story short, I was evicted and had to find somewhere for me and my 4 children to stay because I had to wait another 5-10 business days for the new card to come... I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone. No one there knows what they talking about and you can barely understand what they are saying. It's a scam... RUSSELL SIMMONS you should be ashamed of yourself doing people that support your business like this. Also, they give you nothing for doing business with them. They take that fee regardless if you have it or not will take your last. What kind of people does that to people... You ARE SCAM...

    I have had my RushCard 12 years, I never thought I would have to leave a bad review, but the customer service has gotten horrible, a hold was placed on my card for a hotel stay that they want to hold 35 days. I did a 3-way with the merchant and they did exactly what they were told to release it and they still refuse to release it, the manager Louise was horrible, she simply refused to hear me out even after I requested to have the recorded call pulled. She just ignored me, I have stayed in many hotels and never had a 35 day hold on my money, I AM SO DONE! The early deposit is just not worth all this frustration.

    I have been with RushCard over 3 years. Never had a problem until this year. My card was compromised in another state. I attempted to update my new address but the online feature to do so is never working. I told the agent before I did my dispute I needed to change my address. She assured me they would change it when she transferred me back to customer service. After she was done with my dispute. Well the phone ended hanging up on their end. I called back they told me they couldn't change it without documents. At this point I'm very upset. I'm 7 months pregnant and they keep giving me the runaround.

    I finally fax them the paperwork they asked for my dispute. They told me I could update my address on the form on the dispute, which was a lie. They still had my old address on there. There was no area on there I could've updated my new address. Then they said I needed proof of my current address. I uploaded my lease, AT&T bill and Driver's License. They still rejected my documents! I have my direct deposit just sitting in my account with no access to it. I wouldn't recommend RushCard to anyone. I keep calling to talk to corporate. They have no number for them. Talking to an agent or supervisor is just as worst. Can't understand due to language barrier.

In 2016 I had my tax return direct deposited to my account and they put my money in someone else's account that had the same last name but not the same first name or social or account number and yet they say they can't fix it still to this day. I am currently working with an attorney and will be hitting them for more than the 7000.00 that someone else got to live off of.

    I've been a RushCard customer for three years and I recently switched jobs. When my payroll department put my account number in they used the dashes that were in my account number as they were shown on the form. When it was time for me to get paid they rejected my paycheck and told me at least 6 times that they were going to escalate it to corporate just to find out that I had to wait 3-5 business days for them to return it to my payroll department. All of my information was correct for my account and was told that because of the dashes in my account they could not release my paycheck. This ruined my whole weekend. Once I get my paycheck back I am immediately closing this account. I couldn't believe I was treated like this after using their service for over two years.

    Had a double charge from my car insurance company, it say pending in my account for over two weeks. I reported it my insurance company, they sent a letter to release funds. This happened March 20th. I still haven't received my money back and now they are saying it never existed. I work hard for every penny I have and I have started a lawsuit against them, reported them to BBB. I've never met such an unprofessional, ignorant bunch of people before in my life. I'll never trust or use RushCard again in my life and if you are smart you wouldn't either. I've used them since 2016, biggest mistake of my life!

    I called several occasions and was very dissatisfied. I’ve been a member for many years. I use RushCard for many things. I used it recently for a hotel stay and extra funds were withdrawn. The hotel released the hold but RushCard didn’t. I’m travel across the country for my job and now I’m without funds because RushCard won’t release them to me. Very disappointed. I’ve used it for other hotels and never had any problems. Why???

    On March 29th, the merchant attempted to collect a pre authorization charge for 484.73. I contacted them to advise they were using the wrong card and the officer manager cancelled the transaction and issued a refund. I spoke with my bank to make them aware of what happened but was advised in order to release the funds the merchant needs to send a release of funds letter. I even offer to conference the merchant and my bank on the line together but was informed that it has to be faxed. NO VERBAL AUTHORIZATION IS ACCEPTED. I advised the merchant of this information and they faxed it over with no problems. I contacted my bank and they said, "We received the required documentation. It’s being processed by the corporate office and everything would be completed by 1 to 2 bd," and my funds would be posted.

    I contacted them today and was advised that the paperwork was rejected because they could not speak with the manager who faxed over The paperwork. THIS MANAGER WORKS OVERNIGHT, CORPORATE ONLY OPERATES DURING BUSINESS HOURS 8 to 5. The merchant was willing to let them speak with another manager or even the accounting department to confirm. Furthermore I provided what was asked of me and they are advising me I can’t get my money until 35 days. Bills are due. They have the paperwork. It cleverly states to release my funds not to mention that I am advising to release my funds. No one at this company is helping me and I don’t have money to let sit pending. This is robbery.

    I have been with RushCard since 2005 and have not had any issues up until now. I called to dispute a charge and was told I would need to speak with the dispute dept. The rep in disputes had a laundry list of questions that I did not have time to go over so I advised that I will have to call back to start the dispute process so I hung up the phone. Unbeknownst to me, the rep continued with the dispute. I tried to use my card at 2 different locations before I realized that something was not right. I had just received my direct deposit so I knew I had money to cover the items. Mind you I was getting ready to pay my rent. When I called the rep advised that since I put in the dispute the card was blocked for security reasons.

    If I didn't officially start the dispute then why is my card blocked!?! Why was I not informed that the card would be blocked and I would get another one in 5-7 business days. I was on the phone for dang near 3 hours! Every time I asked to speak with a supervisor I kept getting the runaround. One rep even said I can Google another number to call because she didn't have a directory for the company. Like WTF!?! The rep said I can get the card expedited for $30. I said I need my card ASAP so I can pay my rent on time. I was told that if I just went with the standard delivery it would be delivered around the 5th or the 6th. I advised to the rep that I CANNOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES pay my rent late.

    I said I want the card expedited but I should not have to pay for the company's mistake. The rep became very rude and condescending stating "well since you don't want to pay the $30 to get your card faster you will have to wait until the end of the week". What company makes a mistake and makes the customer pay for it? And I was also charged a $5 replacement card fee! Like seriously!?! I'm being charged for a card I didn't even ask for... As long as I have been with RushCard I have NEVER had a major ** like this. Let this new card not be delivered today like it's supposed to... Once I get my card I am pulling my funds and closing the acct.

    I have used RushCard for years longer than the 5 years they have me accounted for. I recently added money to my card after not using the card for that entire month and was charged a full months service fee for three days and they are going to charge me again on the first. I simply asked for this month's fee to be waived since I hadn't used their service for even half of the month. Not only would they not refund the fee but someone there that was supposed to be a supervisor HUNG UP on me. She offered to listen to past calls to see where the fee had been reversed for me in the past yet when I call back in and ask for my call to be listened to I'm told they can't do that. So you can offer it if you think you can prove me wrong but not when one of your employees have done something wrong? I truly hope that this last monthly service fee was worth it as it will be the last one you take from me.

    I recently checked into a hotel which required a deposit from me which the travel company told me I was not responsible for. Upon checkout RushCard has now informed me that I have to wait 3-5 business days for them to put my money back. It didn't take 3-5 business days for RushCard to take the money from me so why should it take them 3-5 business days to get it back. I am furious and I will be switching banks.

    I was forced to move from my home so I needed to put in a dispute, once the dispute is in you have to get that card blocked and get another one... Okay so being that I was forced from where I was living I had to come to my daughter's house... I needed the new card to come here not there. So I told them of this and informed them that I didn't have any mail addressed to me because I just came here so they had me repetitiously uploading documents, sending over third party bills of my daughters and they rejected all of them so then they say get a disability benefits letter.

    So I dreadfully call the SS office and explain what happened so he prints me out a letter with the new address in it. This was on the 22nd, every day I call I get the same story "our back office has not updated your account yet but we will email them so that it's escalated. I HAVE BEEN GETTING TOLD THIS every time I CALL. Apparently the only way corporate office can be reached is through email. Their services are terrible. I have been a customer since 2004... Trust me. When I get this new card I'm closing the account!

Something happened a couple of years ago and I wasn’t able to get access to my funds and it was a whole big mix up and I didn't know what was going on.     I been with RushCard for 4 year. Some stole 814 dollars off my card. I was approved for the provisional credit. They me I had to wait 10 business days. Yesterday was the I was supposed to receive my credit. I call my card and checked my online account around 1:15pm nothing was posted. I call customer service 3 time until I had got to a manager. I was told that the credit would be posted on my card by midnight. She also said that she will her team watch my account for the credit. I call customer service at 11pm last night and was told the credit will be posted on my card. I was told to wait until midnight.

    I went sleep and woke back up around 1:30 this morning and again. The representative was very nasty, loud, and had a bad attitude because ask to speak to a manager. The lines are recorded. I will be call BB. They transferred me to supervisor and she on hold for 30 mins and did not respond back. I hung up the phone and call again. I was told the closed my case and that not receiving the credit. I was very anger after wait 10 business days and lied to me. RushCard this wrong and I'm leaving your company for good before something else happens.

    Illegal fees from a MoneyPass ATM machine - I've been a RushCard holder for over ten years and up to then, I had no problems with the using my card for financial business in my everyday life. But now, things have gone south for some time now and I can't get an honest answer from them. They called me the other day and left me a number without an extension attached and now, it's like pulling teeth trying to get some assistance? I have even gone to the extinct in writing them and telling my story but it falls on deaf ears and I'm tired of it seriously.

    I'm writing them again to get some idea of what and how my needs to be meet as soon as possible? It's a very sad situation when you have to put yourself out their and plead with someone who has a substantial amount of my money in their hands and I can't get my story resolved in a professional and timely manner.     I just left Walmart after my card declined twice. I had to withdraw money out to pay for my food. I have plenty of funds so I had to pay 2.00 to their ATM and RushCard took 2.50 for an out of network fee. As a customer it's not my fault the card declined. It's over 2,000 dollars on my card and RushCard claimed they couldn't find any declined transaction. I offered to call Walmart which I did 3 times with no answer and I have screenshots to prove it. Just so Rushcard could hear them tell them the card declined and to return the 2.50 RushCard took.

    Supervisor from. Rushcard over talked me the entire time and then I'm still on hold over an hour just to speak to another supervisor since the 1st one was so rude. I want my 2.50 back, I'm a single mom so every penny counts. Rushcard customer service sucks so bad, I've been a member since 2012 and never is it pleasant when you call. Agents don't listen and they over talk you, long holds on purpose and they don't try to help. Just tell you what you are doing wrong. Please help.

    I've been a RushCard member since 2004 and I get my deposits a lot quicker than the standard time. I like the ease in transactions and being able to navigate and understand the online system easily. I'm always reviewing my transactions and I sign in to the online system at least 10 times a day. I use RushCard for practically everything. I pay bills online, I make payments over the phone to utility companies, and I make online purchases. I always use the reload locations and utilize the same locations on either a CBS pharmacy or a Walmart. That's been fairly easy as well.

    The one thing that's not good is it sets a limit on how much in one transaction. Sometimes also, I can only load so much for a day that I have to go back to a reload location a second time that day and pay another fee. So, they should look into changing the load amount. Moreover, if one has a customer service issue then they may have to be a little careful. The customer service team had been contracted to a foreign entity and is difficult to understand. Answering questions is a hit or a miss for them and sometimes they are not understanding what I'm asking for.

    RushCard blocked my card without notifying me prior and then refused to assist me or provide me any availability to my funds. I moved and because they did not have my updated address they wanted me to send a copy of my Social Security card along with photo ID and a bill but I did not want to send the SS card because it’s too personal. So when I just sent my photo ID they rejected it because they could not see my face but I argued that they didn’t know what I looked like anyway so it still doesn’t have to be me in the picture even if they could see the face. The only thing they need is the address. But they still refuse to send me a new card or release my funds and it just so happened that this happened right before a direct deposit. I’m convinced they did this intentionally. Never get the RushCard. Stay away. Just get a regular bank account. If you have issues and can’t we’ll fix whatever it is and get an account.

    I like RushCard and I've had it since 2005. I get SSI and I wanted to have my money on the card. I can pay my bills and stuff with my RushCard. It's convenient. I do direct deposit and I load money on it. But I just moved to a different town so I have to look around and find a reload location. Their reps are also good people and they try to help me.     I have dealt with RushCard on and off for about 10 years. The customer service is not good at all, no one knows what's going on. I have talked to several different customer service agents since Friday March 16, 2018 and it has been a nightmare trying to file a dispute. Short story stayed at a hotel, they double charged my card, instead of reversing the charge they withdrew $5000.00. Now my account is negative and I am trying to get this straightened out in a timely fashion. First, they couldn't even find my dispute. All of sudden it was an error so they did it manually. Never received dispute form to sign. So, Monday they sent me one and claim they didn't receive it. Now it's Wednesday. Not even sure if dispute was even done.

    So, finally one of the agents said that my affidavit was rejected for no customer ID. No one called, no one followed up, just still out in limbo. So finally, I have sent the affidavit and the customer service agent sent it to the dispute team. Meanwhile since my dispute got lost in the space since Friday March 16, 2018 at this point I don't even know if they have done it. But I have no money, account negative and no one seems to care.

    I was in need of cash to pay a bill. I pulled up to the nearest ATM which was at Chase Bank. I then to withdraw 200 dollars. The atm then gave me a receipt stating that they could not disburse any funds but I noticed it was taken from my account balance and I didn't receive any money. So I went inside the bank, in which I was told to contact RushCard which told me to contact Chase, which Chase told me if I had a account with them they could have credited me, but I would need to contact RushCard which I did to be told they can't do anything until it post to my account. Long story short I'm still waiting on my bill money. Hate is a strong word but I hate RushCard and their services. I would NEVER EVER recommend them to anyone. I beyond hurt by how I was treated by them. They showed no compassion for handling or fighting for my money. In fact, they were careless.

    I've been with RushCard for 10 years. I liked the design of their card, and I didn't have a bank account at the time I signed up with them. Rushcard charges a lot of fees now. And since they've cut out the fee-free ATMs, it's been kind of a headache for me. I'm really thinking about getting rid of them. Every time I use the card, I'm charged like a dollar each transaction or if I get money deducted, they charge me, too. With RushCard, people are able to send me money using MoneyGram. I've used the direct deposit, too. I also use my card to pay bills and make purchases online, but with those fees, it's slightly inconvenient. I called the team at Rushcard about a fee that I was charged for using an ATM that I was using regularly with no fees, and they didn't even reverse it. They just said they changed the policy, which I should've known, but I didn't. They also said they sent an email but I don't read my email or the fine print.

    I called in to RushCard because I noticed that money was being taken out of my account at several Walmarts in NJ and I live in Va. When I called in and verified my information they transferred me to the dept that handles disputes. They advised me that when they finish filing the dispute they would be sending me out a new card as my old card will be put on a hold status. I told them that my address has changed, still same city and state different home. They said they would transfer me to have my address updated so I can receive another card. So when they transferred me they hung up on me so I had to call back and when I spoke with the rep they said I had to go on Rushcard.com and do the address change. I looked up and down that website for 2 days.

    Finally I called back today and to find out the resolution on my dispute and to let them know I could not find out where on the website I had to go to change the address. Here is where it gets crazy. The rep kept repeating everything I would say and then he goes, "This will take up to 90 days to get resolved." This is not acceptable as they told me this would be resolved soon since this is definitely a slip up on their end and this is where my direct deposit goes. Then he tells me it will be resolved by May 9 then he says in 10 days????

    I asked which is it because you keep changing things and that he had to remember my paycheck goes in this account. I then asked about the address change and he said I was misinformed about the website. I need to send in documentation with my address. I said to where in which he never said. I said, "I will send a copy of my driver's license just give me a fax and what all info is needed and to who." He said my driver's license will not be acceptable because people send in their DL and it does not have the correct address on it. WTH?? Makes no sense that someone would send the wrong address for them to get their card on a change of address.

    He then proceeded to argue this to me. Now understand my money just went missing out of my account and now this guy is arguing with me about my address. I said I wanted to speak with a Supervisor. So after about 20 minutes I get a supervisor. He tells me that not only will I need to send him the Driver's License, my utility bill and my Social Security card? My SS card not happening for a change of address.

    I asked him to send me the document that advises me of the information I will need to change my address and he said he is telling me as they do not have any documentation on this. REALLY! So I am supposed to send my SS number to you to change my address after the reason for the call in the first place was that my account was either hacked or RushCard sent out a card to another person that was tied to my account... He then said "we are protected by the Federal Government. This is why we need your Social Security to change your address..." He also asked me "if I had any friends or relatives with RushCard because I can ask them about the change of address". At that time I was done. I asked him if he was really a supervisor at this point and said I will be calling back to get the correct information sent out to me on how to update my address and also how my dispute is going... RushCard as a customer for 7 years this is Ridiculous.

    So I had a transaction on my card that I did not authorize last year towards in of the year. Called customer service to report the issue, they informed me that they close the card which is typical, but I didn’t realize that I couldn’t go online to “MY” account and update the address where I no longer live since I got the card. So of course you people that barely speak English or understand it to work in customer service where the consumer is in America but customer service is the Philippines which strange but cheap labor. But back on track I have fax over my documents that I need to do 7 times!!! You hear me RushCard 7 times my ID, my social security number, proof of residence of electric bill etc, and they come back failing because they can’t see the documents.

    The worse part is that doing it faxzero.com where you take a photocopy of the documents they still can’t see it which is strange due to the fact that I adjusted it to the point where you can see it clear as day!!! It’s amazing how this company wants to promote this bull crap company and get away from banks but don’t have a reliable resource in USA to contact to get things resolved for situations like in others!!! I am in contact with a lawyer right now because for a company to hold my money for 6 months where I have no access to is unreal. S this is not going to stop from me RushCard!

    Don't get a RushCard these people are scammers! On March 9, 2018 I called them because I had forgotten my pin and was unable to get my direct deposit of 549.00 so they said in order to change my pin I needed to remember my old pin. I was furious because the whole reason I needed to change my pin was because I couldn't remember so they said, "Well ma'am the only thing we can do is send you another card for a fee." Why do I need to pay for another card? So they wanted 30.00 to get a new card within 2 days I said absolutely not! So the other option was pay 5.00 and wait 7 days for that card. I had to agree. Today is March 17, 2018 and still no card.

    I called them and said they have no record of anyone requesting for a card. So I told them to give me the number of the RushCard corporate office they refused. I looked thru several of the RushCard complaints and I found it when I called they said that RushCard sold the company and this no longer was their phone number but she gave me a number for UniRush in Ohio. When I called the number they put you on hold with this music and no one ever picks up the phone. I am so frustrated with these scammers. I'm going to tell them to small claims court. I warn anyone who currently has a RushCard that just because you haven't had a problem with them doesn't mean you won't later on. YOU WILL!!! CANCEL THAT CARD ASAP!!!!

    I think it’s beyond crazy that you act like you care about our people when you don’t. I ordered my RushCard over a month ago. Still haven’t received it but your company was sure to take monthly fees off for a card that was supposed to come in 3-5 business days. EVERYTHING I HAVE BEEN WORKING FOR IS ON THAT CARD. Yet I’m home with no way to put gas in my car to get to work and an eviction notice because of what your card advertises. I was told after crying to the people inside the company that you created that there is basically nothing they can do, even though they are completely aware that it is their fault due to so called system update besides make the process another 5-14 days.

    I’m completely at a loss. But I know you sleep well every night. I would say some other things but I was taught not to disrespect your elders. God bless you anyways.     I've had my RushCard for over a year, and the largest issue is not being able to pay at certain online retailers (because it is a prepaid card). Also, it would be nice if people could send me money (via there bank account, PayPal, etc). But most cash pay apps will not accept the RushCard as a funding source.

    I’ve been a customer with RushCard for over 5years, they have their good days and bad as well. There were times when my employer would deposit my paycheck and RushCard would take it all out of my account. (Happened on multiple occasions.) Customer care are sometimes helpful.

    Hard to find ATM Locations and locations changes without notifications. Not able to look up ATM locations on website. A list of locations should be sent to each cardholder via email every month or when changes are made in their area.

    The RushCard android app is extremely slow, even though the iOS app is not. Live customer chat in the app would be nice. Also on the RushCard customer service number, cease the runaround to get to a live agent.
