    Activated new card one week before and the next week someone made a $33.43 transaction the very next week. Called rushcard to dispute and was told that card would not be deactivated, had to tell them to deactivate it. This is the second time unauthorized transactions have been done on my card. The 1st time they investigated and I was told the transaction was valid and it was not. Don't let them tell me that again this time, because I am not letting this go this time. I work too hard for my money for someone to be able to just take.

    I will be filing a class action suit against rushcard. They need to get their security together. I am transferring money to a real bank card after this. Your money is not safe with rushcard. You might as well throw your money up in the air. And the stupid questions you're asked when you dispute a transaction "Did you give your card number to anyone?" Are they serious!! I'm done with flushcard...rush.

    3/9/15 3:30 pm please read prior complaint about Rush card, I have a new matter while completing my dispute form for Rushcard, I tried to access my online acct info and they have blocked me from logging in my acct. I called Rushcard and was told my acct was unlocked and while I had them on the phone I tried to log into my acct again nothing, told the Rep I still was unable to get in and she tells me I may be entering a wrong password or user ID. I assured her it was correct and continued to try and access my acct… nothing. I was then told by Rep to reset my password, tried that also nothing and the whole time rep repeated it had been unlocked, while in conversation the call suddenly switched to their survey and then I was disconnected.

    Called again, same thing, was told by Rep, ** that acct was unlocked. I also asked for address for Corporate office was told I would have to e-mail www.rushcard.com not happening, I would get same run around so if anyone is interested in going in on a Class Action suit against Rushcard, please email me **. I am done playing games and will not be treated this way.

    On Monday Feb. 23, I couldn't find my rushcard (thought that I left it at the grocery store). I called Rushcard to cancel that card and to have another one mailed to me. The customer service rep. asked me if I thought that I would find the card, I didn't think that I would (thought that I left it at the grocery store). The customer service Rep. Stated: “I will send you a new one, you should get it in 3-5 days." On day 5 I called again, Rushcard wanted to charge me $30. I said “NO". Now they are telling me it will take 10 business days. It's now day 10, I have not received the card. MY money is limbo, I can't pay bills, buy food, medicine, etc. Oh and by the way I am a disabled senior citizen on a fixed income.

    There has been a pending charge on my account for Sprint in the amount of 163.00 that I have already been billed for. Sprint has released the funds HOWEVER AS USUAL RUSHCARD IS THE PROBLEM. This company is refusing to release the funds to my account although it has been pending for over a WEEK!!!

    I'm sick and tired of having to send emails with regards to my money!! This is NO way to treat a customer, if this is how you all operate then expect to lose a lot more customers. I should not have to do this every time there is a problem. These funds should have been released a LONG time ago, the typical turnaround time for any company is 3-5 days, there is NO reason whatsoever so hold these funds for LONGER than week.

    I filed a claim, my card was stolen after 11 years. Rushcard closed my account Jan. 3. It's March 3, I still haven't received my check for my balance. Everytime I call it's on the way. Rushcard is a scam and I'm starting to think they are trying to keep my balance. Something needs to be done about them.

    This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. I got this card to have my tax return direct deposited to, but unfortunately an ex so-called "friend" tried to steal my money by ordering a new card in my name and having mine canceled. Luckily, I found out before she got access to my funds and alerted the company. They then blocked the entire account and requested proof of address and proof of ID which I immediately faxed and emailed. 1-2 business days stretched out to 3 weeks with me calling every day and getting different answers damn near every single time, until the corporate office made the decision, without ever attempting to contact me personally to close the account.

    At the point I still had a balance of over $2000, when I contacted them again about getting my money back I was given NO answers only the standard reply of "Corporate office is looking into this matter. Call back in 1-2 business days." It has been a month and from what I see, they have done NOTHING but try to finish what the first person attempted, and steal my money. This company sucks royally. I will NEVER USE AGAIN. I GIVE NEGATIVE SCORE.

    I have a RushCard service for more than 3 years. Better than WF & BOA, no overdraft, paying bills perfect and fast. If you don't have money in your account no one overdraft it. I have IPhone and RushCard app in Apple. Perfect, it's just my opinion. But doesn't work for passbook - nothing perfect on this world.

    I lost my Rushcard on 2-14-15, I immediately called them to cancel the card and request a new one. The rep told me then that I could pay a 30 dollar fee to have it expedited or it would take 7-10 business days to receive my card. I agreed to 7-10 business days. I called about two weeks later and spoke with someone who stated "yes we mailed it out on the 18th" and I should receive it by Friday. It did not come so I called again Saturday, was on hold about an hour between 4 different reps because I kept getting hung up on/or disconnected. I asked to speak with a supervisor hoping to resolve the issue and she ** was only interested in reading the notes in the system not correcting it.

    They stated that yes I did call and change my address but it was changed to my old address, the address I just moved form in December. Now what since does that make since I called in several times before that to confirm how to have my taxes loaded onto my card and changed it. Instead of ** the supervisor say "yes Mrs. we're sorry for this error. We will expedite a card today," she told me I would have to pay a 30 dollar fee if I wanted it expedited. No apology, not "i'm going to correct this," nothing but reading notes and trying to blame me for this. What ever happened to customer service, I have a Rushcard for over 4 years now and I've never been so disrespected by a company in all my life. Then before I even receive my new card they have taken the fees from the card. I am so angry about my experience with them.

    I have been a loyal customer with Rushcard for over 5 years. I waited for my deposit for 5 days, knowing that it should've been in my account. I found out only by continuing to call that my deposit had been sent back to my place of employment. When asked why, I was told that there was a block on my account, but NO ONE FOR 2 WEEKS could tell me as to why there was a block. I had not called the card in stolen. There were no notes. The representatives even said that they had never seen anything like this and that it was of no fault of my own. So, then I had to find out that my Federal tax return was being rejected, and that the block could not be taken off of my account, and they still are not aware why CORPORATE has it on there. I have recommended several people for Rushcard, but this is very unprofessional and unethical. You have to stand by the integrity of your company. If not, as you will see, customers will go to a better one. Thank you for your time.

    At 10:00 PM on 2/26 my direct deposit posted onto my Rush Card account. I was notified of that through Rush Text Alerts. At 12:57 AM I received another Rush Text Alert that says a transfer of $631.00 is scheduled to be sent to PHILIPP at 1:12 AM. PHILIPP is one of the cards that is on my list of people that I can transfer money to. I have borrowed that card from my friend Philip before when I lost my card and was waiting on a new one. Other than that I transferred small amounts of money to my friend’s card when he needed to borrow it or vice versa. Other than the time I lost my card I never transferred this amount of money to any card joined to my account (which includes my mother and my boyfriend) let alone to PHILIPP.

    PHILIPP is the name of a card that is joined to an account that is no longer in use and was disposed of. This card was my friend’s card that he threw out without my knowledge and so I never separated the accounts because I didn't know that he wasn't using the card anymore or that he threw the card away so I didn't see any need to. So when I call to stop the transfer, that hasn't even happened yet, the customer service rep (instead of immediately cancelling the transfer) he argues with me and accuses me of transferring the money on my phone, refuses to transfer me to a supervisor, then hangs up on me. I call again and a woman answers and also argues with me and accuses me of performing this transfer once a month; when I haven’t made a transfer to that card since last year. Then I finally speak to a supervisor who also argues with me.

    So then I call PHILIPP and of course he doesn't have the card and after he and I are brainstorming about how can we get the card number and she’s sitting there on the phone silent then he asks her, well don’t you have my card information? She says, well I can use your social. Why someone didn't say that in the first place, I have no idea. He gives her the social and she says my money would be to my card within the hour. This morning I wake up and my money is still not there and my card’s pin number was changed. I call Rush Card back. The representative says that the people I spoke to last night did not block the PHILIPP account from my card, but she said she did (Later I went online and ended up doing it myself). She then told me that she would sent in the complaint and it would take 2 days to process.

    And when I went to get some food with the $17.00 I had left on my card it said the PIN number was incorrect. So I then asked her about that and she starts up the whole conversation again that I just had with the people at 1 AM. I said I already told you this story, she says that she just looked at the account again (even though she said that she saw the data from the call I placed earlier this morning). Then she accused me of being a liar telling me that I said I didn't know PHILIPP when the first thing I said to her was that we called him and he gave us his social security number. Why would someone I didn't know give me their social?? And how could I not know someone that is on my list of contacts? She then transferred me to the claims department after informing me that she would be blocking both cards.

    The only person who spoke to me with respect was the claims agent (Rene). He was the only one who helped me, the only one who suggested that I file a police report, and the only one who told me any valid information. He said that I would have to wait 45 days for them to come to a conclusion. Now I am out $631.00 and soon to be out of a place to live if I don’t get my rent money back. This year is also the first time I have ever had issues with Rush Card and I've been with them for years! I've recommended them to many of my friends, now I feel like an idiot.

    I am so fed up with this mess. I have not really had many issues with Rush until they changed dang banks this year. Who in the crap is MetaBank and where are they located? Other than the fee structure, I never had issues with getting any deposits. I think I will be cutting this card up asap. IRS states my refund was deposited on 2/19/2015 which was 7 days ago. Rushcard says there is no record whatsoever in their system. They never received it, they say. The IRS said that Rushcard has the money somewhere and they just holding it cause they can. Wtf, I am beyond pissed and CS is worse than it has ever been in the five years I have been a customer. I'm done! Banker you have been warned! Seek services elsewhere!!

    Bought a Rushcard today, just to pay a bill with. How about bad card number right out of the package? I have been back and forth for two hours now on the phone and on the 4th transfer and been on hold now for 20 min. Can't register the card, says number and security code doesn't match. Customer service has gotten me nowhere. This is stupid and ridiculous all at the same time. I just either want this card activated or my money back simple as that. I got bills to pay and money floating somewhere and I have a bad card. Go figure!!!

    I have been a RushCard account holder for 4 years and 8 months. In all of that time I have had a direct deposit from the VA. Although I have been a loyal customer for so long I have been dissatisfied with the service I have received. As of January (a customer for 4 years and 5 months) when the government have its mandatory raise my pay went to 3028.90. With that being said RushCard continues to say that they don't hold funds - my funds are continuously being held and pending. Every time I speak with an agent they tell me something different. What got me the last time was the tier 2 manager told me receiving my check early was a benefit and then told me I wouldn't be getting my check early. What is the point of my hard earned money pending and why wouldn't I have just gone to a traditional bank. You can't contact corporate and I don't have my money.

    I had direct deposit set up and the first check went in one day early. The second went on my pay date. The third went in day after my pay date, and the fourth never received. The each pay week, I would speak to at least 3 reps and I would get different answers from rep. Every time I called, no accountability, no supervisors available, and a very serious language barriers with some of the reps. And I sent email to Rush - no response, and they state they will get back to you within 12 hours. It's been 72 hrs. Horrible company. They should be shut down because no one is accountable.

    So I filed my taxes, had it sent to my Rushcard on January 23. I got accepted by it but I still haven't got my refund; suppose to have got it on the 13 of February, which I still haven't. God could it be 'cause my name is spelled 'Ashly' but it's 'Ashley' on my card? Do you think that's the problem - one little letter?

    Just recently got this card 2 weeks ago and every single customer service person I talked to was rude rude rude! Does Russel Simmons not read his reviews... your service is horrible! What kind of customer service training are you doing.... for real! I have never been so frustrated in my life and I got 5 kids... All I wanted to know was if my card is inactive is my direct deposit going to make it active.. simple question to ask the company that should know this BUT no too hard, apparently is rocket science. When asked to give my card is invalid. How is my card invalid if I'm looking right at it and reading the numbers your company printed. So I call. Well when I call the girl can't answer my questions, gives an attitude, tells me to hold and transfer to me to a survey.. lol! And guess what I rated you a 0...

    I get on the phone again, don't even ask to speak to anyone, I asked for a supervisor and guess what just as ignorant. She said and I quote "All our cardholders have different account number. Your money might have went to another account." Mmmmmm so why is my money going to another person account ma'am and I quote again "Well the card you have may be attached to another account." Huh? She has a very heavy accent, not understanding her and she's not understanding me. The question is simple you guys, "is my direct deposit going to make my account active?" By then I'm asking why my card is invalid now since I'm getting the message and again the supervisor is telling me "I don't know all our cardholders have different account numbers." WHAT!!!

    I don't understand this... so here I am pissed as well wondering who is gonna get my direct deposit. Where the hell it's going and I need that money to pay for my little girl's dance class and clothes that she's been looking forward to! So Russell Simmons or who ever owns this company now I know my money is chump change to you in your pocket but look my little girl in the face and tell her I don't give a ** about your daddy's money cause I'm making mine... Ridiculous. Telling everyone to stay away from this company. Ain't worth the trouble... should have listened to my wife and got a AMEX BLUEBIRD or NETSPEND CARD. She has both and has never had any issues.... Anyway had to vent. Have a good night!

    On January 23rd I went to a CVS store and reload $70 on my rushcard. It reloaded successfully. On January 27 I reloaded $400. As of February 17 there's 0 balance on my card, my money never made to my card. I reach out CVS, rushcard, greendot help me.

    This card is not secure. Anyone that has your ssn can check your account info on the IVR or with a rep. This card needs a pin instead of ssn and last 4 digits of card to access acct info. Just pitiful.

    I was trying to withdrawal my money from my Rushcard on February 14, 2015 @ 8:30 am, they told me access was denied due to over withdrawal locks my card. I call customer service spoke with the representative states someone utilize the card at US bank on the 13, of which wasn't true. I calls US bank to dispute the 500 amount, the representative tells me was overdrawn. Only to find out it was an error that Rushcard made, I spoke with the dispute representative, he acts rude and tells me, "I am going to charge you fee and reorder you a card." I did not want him to reorder me a card, I want him to unlock the card I have in my possession so I can utilize it. Now he hangs up the phone, I call back and spoke with the customer service department person by the name of **, push me through to a supervisor by the name of ** to undo the problem that happen.

    I was instructed to fax the receipts, she still tells me that they could unlock the card because the dispute department reissued one and made me pay a fee of 30.00 to expedite my new card. When ** have stop the issuance of the new card and just activated my card free of charge, now I have to wait until Wednesday until my card come through FedEx to get to my money - that's not fair. I have been with Rushcard for 8 years, now they giving me problems I just don't want to deal with anymore. I thought the customer had the rights to pick and choose whether they want something, not the company. I couldn't even get the supervisor to give me the right number to her boss.

    My money was stolen off my card by an individual that I don't know while I was incarcerated for six months. When I got out I did everything rushcard told me to do. I even got letters from the state notarized confirming I was incarcerated during the time my money was stolen. I even got out and made a police report. I sent three different rebuttal letters because they denied paying my money back saying I was responsible but how and I was incarcerated. I think they just don't want to pay me back my money.

    Because $2,163 was taken off my card and that money was deposited on my account I feel they are responsible for paying my money back and they not trying to work this out and I'm highly upset. After I sent them all the documents and tangible proof of my incarceration and they still won't pay me my money back and I want to know the real reason why. I would like to talk to Russell Simmons myself about this problem because I thought if you have all documents and police reports that the bank is supposed to reimburse for what was stolen but I guess that's not the case with rushcard.

    I have been a Rushcard customer since 2011 and I'm very disappointed here lately. Every Customer Service number that I call Never leads to speaking with an "actual" person, I have sent documentation to change my name because I got married and my card expires in March and...guess what??.This morning I actually found a number that "works" only to find out that I need to send my ID back in because it was not readable. Hello, you guys have my phone number.

    Also I have transactions that have been pending since February 4th and the vendor cleared this to come off on the 4th but it will not be credited back to my account until 8:27 and 8:30 TONIGHT!! I don't know what is going on with Rushcard but I have Never had any issues until this year and I have been reading a LOT of bad reviews online this week. I have Already started the steps to actually go with another Debit Card company but I just want you to be aware of the Crap that YOUR CUSTOMERS are having to deal with.     I normally get my direct deposit on Thursday at 9 but yesterday it didn't come. I waited until 10 to call RushCard. I was informed the system was down and it would take about 2 hours. The customer service rep told me she did see my direct deposit pending. It came at 1:33 in the morning. I made 4 transactions and at about 8 o'clock p.m. I received alert that I had $1. After speaking with another rep there were 20 Fraudulent charges made in about 3 hours. And I have to wait 10 days to even dispute this....After 3 years of my business.

    I have been with Rushcard for almost a year. I get my work check and SS deposited weekly and monthly. Anyway, once I ordered something off Amazon. I cancelled the order. Amazon sent a letter that the funds had been returned. However, 6 months later I never got my money back. I let it go...then I had another merchant accidentally take a double payment of $297.54. They too sent a letter to refund the money. Indeed it was refunded but it took 10 days. By the way, the double payment came out New Year's eve (then Feb. 1st come, I'm expecting my 1st check of $1,220 which I have been getting the same time every month for years). The check was sent to my RC as it always had been. I checked the account and nothing. I called Rushcard and they said my SS check was sent back because it didn't not have my whole name on it.

    I said, "isn't it electronic?" They said, "yes everything was correct - it just didn't reflect your last name so it was sent back." It has been 12 days and I haven't received my check. The account number is screwed. Rushcard has nothing but general help. Anything other than that, you are out of luck. I did like RC but the headache and the lack of customer service has me over the 2-day early privilege. I'd rather wait until the day of. Once I sort out my money or even get it. I'm cashing it out and closing my cards down. This is horrible. For the first time in a long while my bills are late, my rent is late it has been so stressful. I'm so glad I have a job or I wouldn't be able to feed my kid and I. I'm in a bind now and RC don't give a damn. You've lost a good customer.

    I've had a Rushcard since around 2008. Never had too many problems with them. This year they decided to reject my tax refund, due to one # being incorrect on the account #. However, that SAME INCORRECT # has worked for the last FOUR tax seasons. Go figure. Anyway, it took me about a dozen phone calls to even find out it was rejected. EVERY SINGLE customer service rep had a different answer for me. From "there was never a deposit" ...to "every amount is handled differently". Now, my refund was rejected and sent back to Tax Products who will issue me a PAPER CHECK.. another 5-7 days... and I have NO IDEA how I'm going to cash this check because I don't have a traditional bank account.

    To add salt to my wound, now my PAYROLL CHECK has not hit my account yet, it's ALWAYS been in my account by now before. AND The Rushcard app on my phone isn't working and I can't get thru on the phone to them!! This whole thing has me so stressed I'm literally getting sick. I have bills piling up & Rushcard has ** up my whole life right now!! Canceling my direct deposit and cutting up this card!!!!

    I have been waiting on my taxes for a week now. Fax everything they ask for. Every time I call they give me fake information, it's always different. Me, I have to wait 1 to 2 business days. Money still not on my card. I would never refer rushcard to anybody. It's a rip off, a scam. Need better customer service rep. I hate I have the card taking money without me knowing. Russell, you need to shut this business down is no good.

    I have been a Rushcard customer for 4 years. Recently I was set to receive a replacement card, as my old one was expiring. I updated my address online 2 months before they sent a new card. I even called the toll free number to verify. Two months later, my daughter received her replacement card, but I do not. I call Rushcard, as I am about to receive my direct deposit. They tell me that my card was returned, but they don't know why. I'll have to pay them $30 to rush me a new card. The mistake I later find out? They mailed my new card to my old address! It was returned. They made a mistake, but I have to pay for it? No way... They are crooked. Do not get one of these cards!

    February 9, 2015 Amazon took $105.66 from my rushcard. I was fine with it because I called and got it straightened out. Prior to that I called Rushcard support to find out where the $105.66 went. Long story short, the lady argues with me and compromises my card prior to me telling her my checks are direct deposits go to it and there is one coming. Rushcard is NOT worth using. The representative argue, don't listen and quite frankly, aren't worth 25 cents.

    I had my child support payment going to my RushCard, and I never received my child support payment for May 2013. I called RushCard and they claim to have never received the deposit but the money was coming from the military Defense Finance and Accounting and they say they transmitted the money to RushCard. The paralegals at DFAS were looking into it but RushCard never offered any assistance and it's been almost two years now and I haven't received any word on my deposit. It's not fair that my ex-husband has dedicated his life to this country and RushCard takes the money he is earning to support our daughter.

    Well I am suppose to receive my tax return tomorrow, I've lost all hope for Rushcard and I'm expecting the worse. Just about everything everyone has wrote has been true. I called ahead of time just to verify that my tax return won't be held due to my husband and I filing joint a return and the deposit is in both our names but the rushcard account is mine. I was told to sign my husband up for an account and there is escalation put in and I even spoke with a supervisor name Chris. I was fed a bunch of BS just like everyone else. Same problem, different scenarios. I would never ever recommend Rushcard. I'm highly disappointed.

    I'm waiting for my tax refund since 2/4/15, called numerous times about 10 times since I was suppose to receive my refund. Now it's 2/9/15 which I'm told will still not receive until 2/12/15. I was never told of any problem until now. Why wasn't I told ahead of time about mistakes on others behalf? REALLY PISSED!!! Need better qualifying people to assist customers in difficult situations.     I have been a loyal customer to Rushcard for several years...and every time I get a deposit always have to see me at my ID my social security proof of address now that my money is deposit on my card...and they have accepted my ID and social security. Now they're telling me my proof of address have to be verified as well which is shipped already been verified. I have my old address on my bills with my new address showing that I just move.

    I don't know what is wrong with this company but Russell Simmons he needs to get it together before he find yourself in a the biggest loss. Somebody needs to sue this guy because the people he is the worst people and this is the worst company I have ever deal with. Russell Simmons you need to close this company down because you are not running your company right. I cannot wait into a lawyer pick up these complaints and start filing lawsuits cuz I'm going to try to be the first one in line. This is the worst I mean the worst the worst the worst company I have ever seen. They need to take all your stuff offline. You need to just close your company down....SAD. COM.

    On January 29th, I called Rushcard's customer service to receive my account information to file my taxes. The customer service rep gave me an inaccurate account number which has led to major turmoil. I know when my taxes were released to check my balance. It kept saying $0.00. I knew this was an error as of today because I had already waited two days for it to post. I called customer service and asked for a supervisor...the rep never transferred me. Instead, she tried to take care of the situation at hand. The rep discovered that the agent I spoke to on the 29th had given me the wrong account number and the funds were in an inactive account. She stated that she was filing an escalation and it would take 1-2 business days. I explained to her that Rushcard is the at fault party and I do not have 2 days to wait due to my current issue.

    After going back and forth with her for about an hour, I was finally transferred to a supervisor. After speaking to a supervisor, he advised me that everything was being taken care of and my funds should be there today or tomorrow because he was going to contact their financing dept. I asked for his name and he told me his name was Blake. I called back 2-3 hours later to check on the progress of the transaction and asked customer service to transfer me to Blake the supervisor. The rep says, "There is no one by the name of Blake that works here!" Immediately I was annoyed because I know I DID not speak to a ghost!!!

    I explained what was going on to the agent and she put me on hold. After holding for about 30 minutes she hangs up in my face and transfer me back to the main menu. I hang up and call back. This time when I called back an agent answered the phone and said, "Can you call back in an hour or two? We are busy!" Really!!!??? What place of business operates like this!!!??? I called back and at this point I'M outraged at the pathetic, childish, unprofessional assistance I have received.

    I asked to speak to a supervisor and the agent says, "We do not have a manager in this department!" I knew he was lying!!! Then he says, "It will take 20 minutes for a manager!" As soon as he transferred the call a supervisor immediately answered. I told her everything that had occurred within the past few days. Then she went back to the 1-2 day waiting period and I explained to her I was not in the position to wait. I also brought up the fake name issue and she boldly take up for the fake supervisor saying, "Oh...we all have fake phone names....that is okay!" Realllyyy!!! This business needs to be shut down and I will not stop until I raise public awareness!!!

    I went to New Orleans for a vacation - it turned into a nightmare. I've had rush card since they were introduced. I went to check in at hotel. Paid using rush card 1,223. As I was going up to my room I get an alert that my card had been charged the same exact amount. I started calling rush card cause we were many miles away (Oklahoma), and to cover their asses they said it was a hotel employee, that swiped. I instantly ran down there to desk. Needless to say it took 4hours to get an understanding of what happened. It was a employee of rush that speaks another language, authorized the charge, and it was 2min in between both transactions and I signed up for alerts. It took 1 month to get my refund.     I have been a loyal rushcard customer for 5 1/2 years until January 27th of this year. My ex wife told me to do a card to card transfer from her rushcard to mine and that's when all the hell began. I transferred the money at 6 am. By 8:45 my card was blocked because allegedly she didn't approve the transfer but she told them she did. So now here I am on Tuesday doing everything they asked to get my card unblocked. They told me to fax a copy of my social or my driver’s license. I sent them both because if they couldn't see one document they had the other and they could use that. No, they were only focused on the license. And I had to fax them copies of it 15 times and they all were denied by rushcard! I have been faxing them papers since Tuesday and now here it is on Friday.

    By now my paycheck was deposited on the card and my income tax and I can't touch it. All I can do is look at the amount. I am furious by Friday and ready to hurt someone! I called rushcard for the 4th time and NOW they tell me to email my documents and they will send my money as quickly as possible. But this supervisor lied just like everyone else I spoke to. So now I'm just calling them on a daily basis to harass them and to listen to them lie to me over and over. I just moved into an apartment with my girl and 3 kids and thanks to rushcard I have NOTHING TO FEED MY FAMILY!! Can someone tell me what to do to get my money from them?? I have 9 grand in my account I can't touch! I have to beg people to help me feed my kids!!

    I contacted Rush Card around August 15, 2014, when I discovered there was fraudulent activity on my card. I immediately cancelled the card and soon received a new card. I also requested a statement from May to August, asking customer service if it would be all right if I could dispute the charges via mail service as I would not be able to call back until after December 15, 2014. She told me no and to wait until I was able to call back.

    I called back January 8, 2015, filed my dispute and on January 9, 2015, my Rush Card was blocked. Today is February 2, 2015 and my card remains blocked with $3980.30 of my money. I have provided Rush Card with the required documents for ID verification and they still are giving me the runaround. I really don't understand why they are blocking my new card. I'm not disputing any charges on it. Rush Card says they want to make sure I am not the thief. I told them the thief wouldn't go and file a police report.

    Rush Card customer service sucks. They know that they are ripping people off. The same thing has happened to me that have happened to others. This Rush Card should be put out of business and a class action be filed. I am planning my own campaign to saturate the Internet with NO RUSH CARD ads. I want to see and be part of the community that causes freezes, holds and liens to be placed on Rush Card owners and staff members' assets. Good luck to you my fellow Americans who have been ripped off by Rush Card. An angry army vet.

    I have been with rush card since they were giving out rewards. I ordered another card and cancelled my old card and they left my old card active and transferred my deposits to that canceled card. The rep said it was my employer's fault but I had spoken with my employer before I called the Rush Card rep. So they told me to cut up my new card and that they would send me another card to my old account and that was to cover their butts. So when I received the new card it was due to expire THE FOLLOWING MONTH!

    I was outraged and the rep had to send me a different card with different numbers, which made 4 cards active under my name. In the meantime $800 of my rent money was held for a week, which caused me to have a $200 late fee, which added up to $900 total I had to pay at my residence. Today I waited for my deposits to post on time and I was told there weren’t any deposits pending from my employer. I called SEVENTEEN TIMES just to speak to a manager and the manager told me she found my deposit but it didn't post automatically because of missing info. But I received my previous deposit just fine with no extra info needed. RUSH IS A SCAM AND I WOULD RECOMMEND NETSPEND WHO HAS HELD THEIR WORD AND PAYS THEIR REPS PRETTY DECENT. Rush is bull and I'm very unhappy today.

    I tried purchasing a download on my Xbox thru Microsoft with my RushCard which I've been using since 2012. Long story short I couldn't get the download but was charged for it. I contacted Microsoft whom informed me that indeed a refund was due but couldn't be issued because I deleted my card info offline and to contact RushCard to get my refund. I contacted RushCard and the representative told me I had to dispute the charge and I did only to have RushCard tell me the charges were valid and no refund was due.

    I've been with Rushcard 11 years. I have always had Direct Deposit from my employer and now for my SSDI funds. I was out of gas and I spoke to several different people saying they could not give me about $5.00 just so I can make it to my bank... 11 years! 2nd incident, I ordered my routing # from a older acct 3 weeks ago. Never received. 3rd, ask for a replacement card 3 weeks ago... NEVER RECEIVED. WELL, EVERY GOOD THING MUST COME TO AN END. Needless to say... this will be my Last load!!!

    I have been with Rush Card almost 5 years, I just got off phone seeing an unknown merchant has charged 19.99$ to my card. The first customer service representative tells me I can't simply dispute a charge. I'd have to wait until February 2nd for this charge to settle then cancel my card and wait 7 to 10 days for new card.

    I told her NO I need access to my money on the card. I'd rather lose the 20 bucks and block merchant from further charges. This lady says, "Ok" and asked me to hold. After about 5 minutes comes back tells me my card has been canceled. A new one will be in mail. I'm like NO WAIT WHAT PART OF NO DID YOU NOT COMPREHEND. She tells me when you call them and say there's been an unauthorized charge, you have no choice. It's RIDICULOUS! I cancelled my account with them. I will NEVER do this again.

    I went to a Shell gas station to pump gas on 1/17/2015 in Fort Mill SC. The Shell gas station was out of gas, but a hold was put on my Rushcard for $52.78. I never pumped any gas because the Shell gas station ran out of gas. I called Rushcard and spoke with 3 representatives and 2 managers that told me I have to wait 10 days for the hold to be released by the merchant. I explained to them that I never pumped any gas and the hold is for nothing. The first supervisor asked if I had the receipt? The first 3 reps I spoke to hung up on me and gave me the run around. When I spoke to his manager Jonathan ID# ** he gave me the run around too. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not use Rushcard. Make the sacrifice and deal with a REAL bank, one you have access to physically. This is not worth the aggravation. I will cancel every Rushcard that I have and bank with a real financial institution from now on. Never again will I use prepaid!!!

    I have been a RushCard customer for a couple of years now. I just set up direct deposit with them and it has been nothing but a nightmare. They tell me that my employer didn't match the right information to my acct., but this has been the 4th time to get my check deposited to my acct. They said it takes 2 business days and they still haven't gave me my money. I have worked hard for my money and I have 5 kids that I have to feed. To make things worse, they say there is no way that we could speak to anyone other than the member services. How is this possible. How come we can't talk to upper management to see what's going on...I think this company is just too much!

    I have been a customer with Rushcard for over 12 years. I have always received my direct deposit from my job on Thursday. When my deposit didn't post I called and they stated because the names didn't match. They couldn't deposit my check until I verified some information. Now I have been depositing my check for over 3 years in my maiden name and all of a sudden you come up with this bull... Well I did what they asked and here it is Friday January 16th and I have yet to receive my deposit. Mind you I confirmed my direct deposit at 5 am Friday morning and here it is 1 am Saturday and still no deposit.

    Is this how you treat your customers that has done business with you for over 12 years? I am filing a formal complaint and my check is going to cost them double or triple when I'm done. They have no right to hold my only source of income after I complied with your demands. I have called these people 4 times and get the same runaround. I'm fed up with these companies that take people's hard earned money and play god and do what they want when they want. They have pissed off the wrong person. 12 years worth of service and this is how you treat people???!!!!

I wasn't able to pay my rent because of my card not being at my address. Russell it has been about 3 of your employees that have given me the wrong information and that information has gotten me to the point where I'm at right now....     I've been a member of Rushcard for 6 yrs and I never had a problem with them until they hooked up with Meta Bank. I never had issue taken out as much as I wanted when I wanted. Now that Meta Bank is a part of Rushcard I have a certain amount I can get and 24 hr time frame to get more of my FUNDS. I don't mind so much the daily limit but 24 hr time thereafter is BS. I think it's time to move on.

    I am new to Rushcard. On December 30, 2014 I used my card to pay for a room for New Year's Eve. The hotel was having issues with their computer and ended up having to swipe my card twice. Well I didn't realize that I have two pending transaction from the hotel until I was trying to buy groceries and my card declined. I was like wait I just got paid and I know I have money on this card. So I got online and looked at my account and saw that the hotel had two pending transactions on my card. The first thing I did was went back to the hotel, talked to the manager and she told me that their system only shows one transaction. So my next step, I called customer service at rushcard and she said that because the transaction was over a certain amount, the hotel would have to fax over a letter stating that they would only collect on one transaction. She even three way call the hotel manager and explained that to her. So I was like ok I have to wait on the manager from the hotel to fax over the letter...

    Long story short the manager never did so I called back to rushcard spoke to a supervisor named Chris, and he said the same thing about how the hotel would have to fax over the letter. Well I told him that I had been getting the run around from them and when he called they actually hung up on him twice and he released my money back to my account on that phone call versus me having to wait for the money to be released back to my account 11 days later. I haven't had any other problems... THANKS Chris!!!

    I lost my card on 12/16/14. I was paid Direct Deposit on the 12/26/14. I transferred my money to my daughter card on 12/26/14 then inadvertently misplace her card. She call in on 12/30/14 to request another card. They blocked her card but never sent out another card. It is now 1/9/2015 and because one of the representatives was speaking broken english and my daughter was answering question she could not clearly hear due to his native tongue, she fail some silly ** test that could not be asked again for another 24hrs. Or she could send her information via fax and they would send her a new card.

    I get my SSI benefits direct deposit to my Rushcard. I paid my Sprint bill of 277.01 on Dec 26 2014. Sprint went back in on the 28 and took 277.01 again. Sprint caught it and refunded the money or never took it. Rushcard put a hold on the money and won't refund me my money. 7 days later and my money is still not returned to me. It still says pending like they're trying to give my money to Sprint instead of returning it to me. Now my rent is late cause they won't release my money. I called Rushcard 2 and the representatives were nasty and told me my money won't be considered being returned to me until 11 days. Meanwhile my rent is still not paid and I'm on a fixed income with two kids. I'm canceling my card after they return my money. I don't recommend anyone use Rushcard.

    So yesterday I was trying to complete an offer on magic piano for free credits and it said that I could obtain a free Rushcard and then I went to try and fill the info out and it wouldn't take my info and kept saying it was incorrect when it was actually correct. It took me to an irrelevant website and I was trying to resolve the issue by emailing them what happened and they just kept saying incorrect, "we were unable to process your info because it's incorrect" and it's not. I gave my correct name, date of birth, address and my SSN and my credit card info so I'm never coming here again.

    I've been a customer with RushCard for a little over two years and I would like to say the only thing they are good for is depositing my check two days early. The first problem occurred when I pumped gas, not knowing that when you pay at certain pumps $75 of your money is held, for what I do not know, that happened twice, but hey the first time shame on you and after the second it’s shame on me. But what really took the cake was when I purchased an Iphone from Amazon for $104 on Dec. 26, 2014, I then decided to cancel an hour later by contacting Amazon...... I received an email that my order has been cancelled but why is the money still pending on my card, called RushCard and here we go..... Amazon will have to fax something to them proving the order has been canceled yada yada yada, oh and my favorite Amazon is holding my money which is silly because I canceled the order an hour after I placed it and they can get into trouble for doing that, like I told the supervisor why is RushCard involved in this transaction anyway?? What is the reason for you holding my money?? The only people that seems interested that I get my money back is Amazon. I can't wait till I get my money back, I am going to a legit government issued bank.

    I called in a replacement card thru rushcard on the tenth of December. Here it is now the 29 of December, no card, my kids woke up to nothing for Christmas but two of my paychecks are stilling sitting on that card and they even lock my acct. so I couldn't transfer any of my money to get it but after almost a month of waiting on my money I expedited another card and they're saying they don't even have a tracking number for me to check the status (I found the other card was never shipped) and I had to pay $30 for that. VERY POOR SERVICE AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANY. "STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY."

    I've been a loyal rushcard customer for two years, and never had a problem. I get $402.50 taken out of my account. I go through the start of the dispute process. They informed me they could email me the dispute forms. This process started on December 3, 2014 it's now December 27th no forms yet. I asked them to mail the forms on December 5th. ... and still no forms. I have called them a total of 46 times. No papers yet. What can I do but leave the bank. Other than this it was a great bank.

    I have been with RushCard for 3 years now and Sunday is the first time I’ve actually encountered a problem. I lost my card at Kroger and I found out someone had used my card and spent 36.00 bucks. So I called RushCard to get a replacement card and they told me it would take 7 to 10 business days for the card to arrive. THIS WAS ON THE 14th. Everyday since then, I have been getting the run around about when my card would be arriving. The last representative I spoke with told me I had two cards coming only because my request to get a new card was never processed. Now I’m mad! I told him I spoke with 6 different people about when my card would be arriving, I was told it's been sent out already or it hasn’t been processed. I’ve been lied to over and over again. I get paid on Wednesday! I need my money. As soon as I receive my card, I'm switching to the Credit Union. BEWARE of this company!

    I've been with Rushcard for about 2 1/2 years and never had a problem until they switched banks in May of this year. I lost my card and had to call them to report it and to get a new one. They was supposed so that I could get my money on my company card and when I got paid, well it went to the my Rushcard bank. The girl didn't cancel the direct deposit. So here I am without my check still waiting. Oh, and spent 30 minutes on hold just to get nowhere fast and I wish they would've asked me about delivery day. In two years never had that offered to me. Use to get my check two days early now I'm lucky if I get it before 6:00 PM on Friday nights. I stay on the phone with customer service more now than I ever have in the past. It not worth the headache. I'm canceling my account after or whenever my money decide to get here.

    I have been a rush card customer for years, until TODAY. I have never dealt with such a shady, rude, and oblivious company in my entire life. I called this company over a week ago because my card was lost. I was told the card would arrive at my home within 5-10 business days. After no sign of my card, I called back and was told it could take up to another 1-2 weeks. I asked to speak with a supervisor, she offered me a 2 day shipping for another card at $30. So now there were two cards on their way to me. First card arrives, and I hold on to it because had this 2 day card on the way now. Which, mind you, should have been offered to me THE FIRST time I called about my original card being lost. My two day card was supposed to arrive at my home today.

    I called the company today and spoke with over 10 people and actually am on hold to speak to another supervisor NOW. No one has any idea why my card hasn't arrived. There is no tracking number. The notes are incomplete and I have over 1k on this card that I have not been able to access for weeks. The last person I spoke to, I once again explained my situation and I was put on a SURVEY when I was told I was being transferred to a supervisor. I cannot believe this place is in business. THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE!!! STAY AWAY!!!

    I purchased some items and check my balance to see what was the ending balance. Only to find that some money was missing. I contacted Rush Card to see where the additional transaction was made. The representative informed me of the discrepancy, I informed him that I did not recognize the transaction. Mind you Rush Card has a verification system in place i.e. SSN, sixteen digit card number and DoB and this is prior to any information concerning your account being divulged. The male representative informed me that I needed to send in additional documents. My question to this individual was "why is this necessary when I have clearly verified all of the information pertinent to my identity. This is policy was the answer given... I informed him that I did not feel comfortable send my person information via fax and informed him to leave my card as it is and that I will stop my direct deposits from going to the card and eventually cancel. At this point I asked if my card was still active. The individual I was speaking said it was...

    I attempted to make purchases with my card for Christmas, the card declined each time. I contacted Rush Card again and found out that my card was blocked. The previous rep failed to mention this detail. I asked to speak with a supervisor, at this point I have livid. I was transferred to Ron whom was very disrespectful and stated that there is nothing that can be done until I fax over requested documents. Customer service is a joke as he basically stated that the first rep was doing his job and informed me correctly...

    I have always been a fan and supporter of RushCard until they switched banks. It all began in November when I swiped my card at the postal office, where I always go, and it declined. RushCard is no longer recognized by them. Then I was declined at the ATM and was forced to go into a bank to withdraw money. The incident that has pushed me overboard and that has caused me to end my relationship with them happened today 12/18/14. I went into Walmart to purchase a money order and get $20 cash back. The total for all was just over $1,000.00 - it declined on Walmart end 3 times. I call RushCard while still at Walmart, and they have deducted the amount. I explained to them that it declined on this end but they insist that Walmart has the money although my three receipts clearly read declined.

    I asked for a Manager. I get a supervisor after holding for 20 mins. I again ask for a Manager and was placed on a long hold again. I'm on the phone for 1 hr 30 mins, all while still standing at Walmart - I am told that it is showing pending that I have to wait until 12/28/14 for my money to be released back to me. For the life of me I am not following this process when I am seeing that the transaction was declined. The Manager hung up on me - his name was Ron ID#**. He explained that it was not possible for anything to be done and hung up. I will not be doing any more business with this company. I am out of my money until the 28th. There goes Christmas plans of traveling and completing my shopping. I gave 1 star but wish there was an option of giving no stars.

    I've been w/ Rushcard going on 8 yrs and as the yrs progress the customer service gets worse. The reps stated they can't hear you and hang up. God forbid if you lose your card, it is a nightmare. If able, PLEASE avoid doing business with them, it will save you a lot of stressful moments!

    I've been dealing with rushcard for the last 7 years and it seems as though every year things get worse. The customer services is flat out terrible. Half of the time you're speaking with representatives who don't even speak English. You would think that your loyalty to the company would amount to something but it's been made obvious on several occasions that rushcard main priority is rushcard itself and not us. The situation that really irritated me occurred when I needed to request a new card. Whenever my card was lost, I was told to block the card. I did so not knowing that once I did so, I couldn't transfer my funds of direct deposit onto another card.

    After being given the round for over 30 minutes, I was told that the only way that would have access to my funds would be if I requested another card. I was told that in order to do so I would have to pay a $30 fee to expedite the card. Whenever I asked how long it would take to come standard mail, I was told that they had no way of knowing because they didn't know where the card was coming from. I sat around with $400 in limbo and couldn't get a straight answer from anyone. To top things off I had to pay an additional card replacement fee. I wouldn't recommend that anyone use rushcard. It seems as if they extort money from us every chance they get. I will no longer fatten Russell Simmons pockets and I suggest that take heed to the warning.

    I called Rush to activate my replacement card because someone had taken money out of my account that I didn't even know. Once I got my card. I called Rush Card to start the process of activation. I called the number that was on the letter that they had sent me in the mail. I could not activate my card because the security code could not be recognized. I tried it three time when the system switch me to customer service department. Once there I explained my problem with my card. I had to explained that night for five times and they still couldn't fix my problem. The next day I called again about seven times and finally I got a customer service that activated my card. I went to the store and it worked but I still could get no money from it. I had to call now a third day about why I could get money from my card. I went through the same battle as I did before, but this time I called four time and my security code does not work yet. I can't get my money out of my own bank account.

    On December 2nd, I was going to purchase something on hsn.com and right after I paid for it, I decided to cancel it. That night I called Rush Card for the first time and after being on the phone with a representative who claimed to be a supervisor and told me that if we call them and they verify that it was not a valid charge, they will release my money. We called and spoke to hsn. Rush card rep is the one who dialed the number and we were on a 3 way call. The hsn rep verified not a valid charge and no money was being taking or will be taken. Hsn rep was still in the phone when rush card rep totally changed her tone and told me that they still couldn’t release it. I requested a manager and she placed me on hold and eventually after 30 minutes she hung up.

    The next morning, someone claiming to be a manager called me and started the same way saying that if he called hsn, then they could release it. Once again here we go. He called hsn and we got mary on the phone and mary, the hsn rep, told rush card rep the same thing. At the end of the call rush card manager said I would have my funds released in 3 days. I waited for 3 days. Actually even longer because that was as of December 3rd and I didn’t call again until December 8th. Then after being on the phone again for 3 hrs, I was told that was incorrect and had to wait till the 12th. Well today is the 12th and I had called again because once again the money still hasn’t come available. I was on phone this morning, spoke to first rep, they said they couldn’t do anything.

    Got on phone with 2nd rep claiming to be a supervisor who told me they still couldn’t release my money. I asked to speak to a manager and I was then placed on hold for an hour. Supervisor never came back on the phone and after an hour of waiting, representative hung up and I was transferred to a survey to take a survey based on customer service and well of course, I failed them. But here I still sit and they still have my money pending and yet nothing is being resolved. I feel helpless. How can they just keep holding my money and really refusing to speak to me. Everyone says something different but none help me.

    I called to check on the balance in my Rush Card Visa account on Dec. 8th because my daughter needed money. When I called, the automated system stated I had a 0 balance. My last purchase was on Dec. 7th which left a balance of $347. I spoke with several agents to find out how this could have happened. I was told that there were 3 transactions from a supermarket called Stop and Shop at 1129 Rt.34 North in Aberdeen, NJ. at approximately 2:39 pm and 2:58 pm. I was at work in Bethesda, Md. 20817 with my Visa card in my purse locked in my locker until I left work at 4:30 pm. They said if I wanted to dispute the debited transactions that a form would be faxed to me within 2 to 3 hrs.

    I waited 6 hrs and no form was faxed. I made repeated calls and still no fax. They said they would send to my email. I gave them that at 7 pm today, Dec 9th. It is now 11 pm and I still have not received the form to dispute the transactions to start the investigation. I don't have any money for the rest week until next pay day Dec 17th. For the last 2 days I felt like I was getting the run around. No answers. Every agent I spoke to asked the same questions as if my information was not updated. I am so frustrated. Never had a problem with my account before since I signed up.

    My relative had a Rushcard and he passed away. And it was $796.85 left on his Rush card. They blocked his card where I couldn't get the money. I faxed them his death certificate and I also had durable power of attorney to handle his affairs. Rush card claim they sent the money to the state unclaimed property site. I call the unclaimed property and they told me they had no funds there for my relative. Rush card claim they sent the money to the state September 10, 2013. I found out they never sent any money to the state of Texas. It's like they're trying to keep the money that don't belong to them. My relative died December 6, 2012 and I have been trying to get this money ever since he passed away. And they've been telling me different lies ever since then. This company is nothing but a fake. Consumer beware. I wouldn't recommend this card to no one.

    Rush card advertises "receive your direct deposit early as well as online access." WRONG! I have had nothing but problems with this card. The card gets declined even when I have funds and Rush Card always states they don't see any declined transactions. I have not had online access in almost a month and the final straw is Rush card failed to process my direct deposit which in return, caused my auto payments to be returned. I was on hold for 45 minutes with no success. I have never been so inconvenienced.

    I have never been able to log on the online system. Maybe I did once to set up the account, but can't get back in for nothing. I can only check my account by calling the automated system. The customer service phone line is choppy, hard to understand what the person is saying. Hopefully I will get my direct deposit soon. Then I am taking my money elsewhere.

    Well I have been a Rushcard member for the past six years and I totally love this company. The only thing I am upset about is that they started off giving monthly rewards, but as of last year I stopped receiving them. Anyway, I have been getting my direct deposits two days early. Rushcard is always right on point whenever there is an issue that may come. I really wish Rushcard will start letting customers over draft.

    I've been with Rush Card for over 10 years. And I always have problems. Their customer service reps are inadequate because they are too cheap to pay for good service. They advertise that they deposit your paycheck 2 business days before your payday. And my payday falls on the 10 and 25. So I should have gotten my check Friday but I'm still waiting. Last pay day was 11/10 and you got my deposit 11/6. Never had a problem before. You call them and they claim they don't see anything pending. The government should better regulate companies like this. Making claims and unable to deliver.

    I purchased a RushCard, loaded cash at the register, and a MoneyPak later that day so that I could make an online. I could not use the card and waited for the plastic card to arrive. Upon arrival I tried to activate it and they said it had been blocked and I needed to send all kinds of documents or they would keep the money, the card would be suspended, and I would never get the money back. I repeat, he specifically stated when I said I did not send the required documents in 10 days (I lost my SS card), that I would not be able to receive my money back, ever. How on earth can this be legal??

    I have been a Rush card member for about 5 years now, in the beginning I was signed to the plan with the monthly charges for Direct Deposit...now most of us who have rush card might have issues with having a bank account or something or another, so I won't come on here holier than thou. But after almost 4 years of service with them, all of a sudden every transaction I make is costing me an extra dollar. I called a few time to tell them about it, and I was told that rush card doesn't do that. I asked to speak with a supervisor and I'm given the run around about that too. Finally today I speak with a bold rep, who flat out tells me that yes they do charge, but only to members who have the pay as you go.

    Now I told him to look into his records to see that I've never been charged that dollar amount. (now I have nothing against India) but when speaking with some of the reps from India (which all of them are because rush card outsources) they don't let you speak and they are very programed. At the end of the day I was out making a transaction, and as per previous agent's advice I made this purchase thinking this should be fine... and lo and behold still charging me a dollar. I hate rush card because nothing is factual with this company , and yes I've dealt with their hidden fees and crazy rules...but as of today I'm leaving and cancelling with rush card. Please if you're thinking about rush card, don't it's a rip off period point blank! I dealt with it for a year too long!

    On the 10th of November I requested a new card be expedited to me so that way it would be here by the time I received my check on Thursday. I misplaced the old one. I receive my new card 11/13/14, called to activate, everything went ok, no problems. Later that night I tried to go to an A.T.M. but the A.T.M. said it was unable to process this. I called rushcard and spoke with a representative who advised me that they were having maintenance issues and that I just needed to re-activate my card and then to wait about an hour before using the card. I waited the whole hour then went back to the A.T.M. and again my card was not working! I called rushcard again and again, the representative said they were having maintenance issues and I needed to re-activate my card! One more time I was assured that I needed to re-activate my card again and it would work. It was almost 11pm by this time so I went home and thought I would try it in the morning.

    This morning (11/14/2014) I went to the A.T.M. again and this time it was saying that my card was invalid! I called rushcard again and a lady told me that this card I have here was the old one not the new one. I proceeded to tell her that this card was the one I barely received not the old one, I lost the old one! Then she tells me, "Well it looks like they issued you a new card today and you will be receiving that on Monday!" I was so infuriated at this time! I told her, "No this is ridiculous, this is why I ordered my card on Monday to be expedited, so it would be here on time, and now you're telling me I have to wait! I have 2 young boys and I am single mom. I had a lot to pay for today, including groceries and I really needed that card!" I told the representative that I wanted to speak to a supervisor! She transferred me just for that person to tell me the exact same thing! I then asked to speak to someone above him and of course that lady (Rhea) said the same thing! Rhea informed she would waive the fee for this card but why should I have to pay for the first card when I couldn't even use it, and why should I even have to wait for another card when I ordered mine to be here on time. They were the ones who messed up!

    All in all I am so unsatisfied with their service! I never requested another card to be sent, I only needed this card activated and now me and my babies are screwed, thanks to rushcard!! All I know is I am taking my business elsewhere! I can't wait to receive my money so I can just cancel with rushcard! I was warned to not get a rushcard, but it was convenient at the time, and of course I didn't listen! It would of saved me all this trouble!!

    My card was stolen and used, Close to $500 in unauthorized funds. I reported this within hours of the theft and use. I waited and kept in contact with Rush customer service. Twelve business days after they received my paperwork via fax, I was told I would NOT get my money back. Rush requires a direct deposit set up to cover any loss by theft. Visas Zero liability policy does not require this. RUSH has a Zero liability policy with strings attached. All along I was told nothing about this direct deposit requirement. Rush is not consumer friendly. The fees they charge is all they are interested in. If you do not care if your money is protected and you love paying fees -- RUSH IS YOU CARD.

    I've had Rushcard for a year now, the first time I was with them for two years. I am currently unemployed and had my daughter send me a care package. I went to withdraw money to put on my Rushcard and get a few things at the store. When I get to the store to make a purchase, they (Rushcard) had taken their monthly fee of $7.95. Free direct deposit but there's a monthly fee which means direct deposit is not free. I called to get my money back and they said no! Point blank period. I will not be using this card ever in life again. And will not refer or recommend this card to anyone again.

    I have gotten the run around for a week about my account "being blocked. " They asked for documents regarding my address, SSI card, and proof of address so I, of course, sent those documents to them so that it would fix my account. After the weekend I called them to see if my account was "unblocked" but of course it wasn't. They said that they needed better documents regarding the address and a clearer copy of my I.D because in the copy they could not read it. What kind of bologna is that? There was nothing wrong with the copies that I sent them. When the lady told me that she was "zooming in" to read it I thought to myself, "Either that she make it legible to read or be the problem for it not being able to be read."

    I am still having problem as I am writing this because I asked for a corporate number to call and the lady told me that "there is no direct number to the corporate office, that she would have to send a notice and that it could take up to 24 hrs for corporate to call depending on the time that they get back to them about it." To me this sounds fishy so I plan to call the "Better Business Bureau" over this. When I told the lady that she perked up and started to be nicer and repeated everything again. I told her that I understood but there was no reason for my account to be blocked in the first place. She said that nonetheless I needed to send the documents within 30 days or they were going to send the money to IL. (a state I used to live in) I told her that if that happened that I would sue them. In a smart ass tone she said "Ma'am we will be expecting that." I said, "I bet you will" and hung up.

    Rushcard is the worst. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. They charge to load the card, they charge to use the card, they charge to get money off the card. I called to update my address with them and in doing so, they placed a block on my card. I can't access my account unless I send a copy of license, social security card, and proof of address. Mind you I didn't even have to submit documents to even get the card, so I'm not sure what sending these documents will prove. I was also told when I got the card that they would take a dollar for every swipe and it would be refunded to me on the 15th of each month. Haven't received a dime. A bunch of liars who steal your money. Your best bet would be to get a green dot, at least they only charge you to load your card. They don't take a little bit of your hard earned money with each purchase.

    On 10-2-2014 I put 500 on my rushcard. I try to pay my bills and I couldn't. They put a block on my card for a deposit that wasn't suppose to be made back in 8-27. I have faxed them papers, was told be 1-2 days. It's now been over a month, my bills still aren't paid and my card is still locked. I've been calling them damn ** everyday, all day flipping to get my money back. And all they can say is, "I understand, I'm sorry." No ya don't understand if ya taken money from me and my kids. So in return I've called the police, got no help there. So I have contacted a lawyer to put a lawsuit on them to get my money back and take every one of their jobs.     I had fraud committed on my account so they had blocked my account and reissued me a debit card. Now it's been more than a week where they have requested documents and I have sent all documents needed. They always gave an excuse that they did not receive a fax. Finally over 15 faxes later they finally have all the documents needed. They said it was going to take one to two business days. Tomorrow will be the fifth business day that corporate is holding my funds illegally because all documents have been submitted. Every time I call customer service I get hung up on or they say they send corporate emails which about 4 emails have been sent out and still no reply. I have been evicted and my cell phone has been shut off and I have two children who need diapers, milk and clothes which is winter now and I can't provide for my family. It's sad that it had to get this bad and still no help from Rushcard. I will be closing my account after I get my funds somehow. They are thieves and selfish business...

    I called Rushcard to report my card stolen and the unauthorized transactions. I was told my card would be replaced plus the money stolen and my balance. I called back later the same day to verify the information and address and was told by a rep and supervisor basically good luck on getting my money back. I have had Rushcard for years. This made me, my husband and other people I know cancel all their cards thru Rushcard. Never again will I deal with or trust this company.

    On Oct.1, 2014, my card was blocked. I called and was speaking to a rep named Marc. He told me it was blocked due to proof of address. I told him it's the same address they mailed the cards to. He said they need proof, so my daughter faxed them. They stated they was black they could't see them. Since then I have faxed them twice more making that 3 times. They keep saying they can't find them. I told them, "Send me a check." They stated they can't access my account without proof of address. This is a prepaid card, why is my address so important?     I want to use my card online to purchase an airtime load and suddenly my card got declined and I call this rush card company and they told me that my account was already block. And I don't know the reason for doing this to me. I load my card so when I go to work I can used it and buy food since my job is live-in care. I load the card from moneygram and I told them that they need unblocked my account because I need it badly to buy load and food since I'm on my work and they told me that they can only send me a check. This company is so stupid, I don't recommend this to other user.. They should unblock my account because they don't have any grounds to block it. I didn't use it for gambling or illegal activity.. This rush card is very stupid company.. I hope nobody would ever use this card anymore.. They only take money from the user.. I'm so mad and so disappointed using this card.

    I ordered something off line but it was declined. Although money was in my account they wouldn't give me a explanation of the declination. However the amount was pending on my account even though the merchant never tried to retrieve. This occurred on Oct 1 2014. I called the merchant, they said it would release in 48 hours. However RUSH CARD HOLDS YOUR FUNDS FOR TEN ADDITIONAL days which isn't communicated to their customers upfront. Rush then wanted the merchant to FAX over documents. That the order was declined..the merchant said they do no such thing because the order was declined. After 10 days, 11/11/14 I expected to see the amount in my account...well that didn't happened. I called back to rush and they tell me after 10pm or a extra 2 days?? Wth.

    Customer service sucks, this card sucks. I'm cancelling once I receive my money and I will deter others from signing up. Months ago they also tried to tell me I took 300 dollars out of a ATM which they just debited from my account. I did take $300 out but only once. They doubled my transaction and showed I took that amount out twice seconds apart. I provided documentation and I received my money a month later...unacceptable.

I gave AT&T my card numbers cause I bought a new cell phone then AT&T cancelled my order so I asked rush card to take the 251 dollars hold off my card, cause I changed my mind to do business with AT&T. Rush card said they needed them to fax a letter to them even though I had AT&T on the phone with them. AT&T begged, I mean Begged, rush card to release my money to me, but these sick twisted racist philippines thought it was all a joke.     My card did a transfer to my other account which that card had been blocked since June 2014. When I call about the money being put back on my card, they say it will be on there in 1-2 business days which was fine, until we got to the third day then the issue became oh, it should be on there today at 3:46. It came and left still NO MONEY on my card. I call back the next person, tell oh they still haven't processed it yet. Ask speak to a supervisor, they hang up. Call this morning once again, NO MONEY. Today makes day 4 the guy tell me oh it'll probably be 1-2 business days, never and I've been calling so as of now I'm going to do what I have to and have investigated because this is crazy, you can't take people MONEY and then give them the run around and think people wont be mad.     On the 23 of September my card was stolen. I called them and everything went well on the phone. The lady told me that it will be here in seven to ten business days. And I was fine with that. She also stated that I would be charged 4 dollars for a replacement card and I was fine with that. Seven days came and still no card so I called them and they said that it should be there by the 7 of October. I said ok. The 7th was two days ago so I called them again and they tried to make me pay again when this is not my fault.

    I've been with Rushcard for almost a year and never had to deal with this. I haven't had my card in three weeks. I have bills that I need to take care of. I think I should helped in a mature fashion because this not my fault. I'm being charged more on my bills because I can't get to my money. All my funds are deposited to my card but if I can't get my money, how will I pay my bills? My rent is two weeks behind and my lights are about to be cut off.

    I got the Rush Card because I thought it'll be convenient for online shopping and paying bills online. On 9/29/14, I attempted to pay my phone bill of $60.00. Before work I went to the nearest currency exchange/Western Union to add the $60.00 to my card so when I got to work I could just pay online (something I have done numerous of times). I'm at work and for some reason my transaction won't go through. I call customer service and the first guy told me that because I was enrolled in "Pay as you go" I'll be charged an additional $1 for every transaction and because I had only added $60.00, the payment won't go through because I needed at least $61.00 on the account.

    This is the very first time I've heard of this considering I've had the card for over a year now and as I stated before, I have done this same thing before and have never been charged an extra $1. Of course I was livid because first off, I had to pay an additional $4.95 in order to ADD MONEY to my card in the first place. So this guy is telling me I have to basically pay $4.95 AGAIN in order to add only $1 to my account so I can pay my phone bill. Excuse my language, but that's **. I spoke to a woman after getting frustrated with this guy and she started telling me about all these fees and quite frankly, I zoned her out. I'm so pissed off at this moment because I have no phone. I promised this woman, that as soon as I get off work and get to the nearest currency or Western Union I will be withdrawing my money and cancelling my card.     What happened, rush card on aug. 21 2014 puts a block on my card. On september 19th, I download money onto my card in which I was never informed of my card ever having a block put on it. Consequently cost me being humiliated in a public store telling me that my card was no good and was confiscated, that my card was stolen. In the interim I call rush card. They tell me that it's going to cost me 30.00 to receive my money back in 48 hours. Due to their negligence of unethical business practices that has literally cost me nothing but humiliation and pure frustration, that they can take money from me for their own gain and profit due to theft and pure robbery of taking my money and think that it's ok, that it cost me 30.00 to get the remaining money back to me, that they caused me not to even use my money that is so rightfully mine to begin with. And in return due to their negligence, they steal thirty dollars of my money to return the rest of my money in 48 hours that I never was allowed to spend to begin with. Rush card is a sham of a business and should be shut down due to their business ethics, period.

    I called Rush Card to Check the status of my account because I was trying to see if my Direct Deposit had been send from my school to my account. Plus to inform them that because I don't use my online account I manage my account by text. The man on the phone said, "You can check your account online." I then told the man I don't get on my online account because I have been blocked out. So then he says, "Well, let me unlock it for you." Using the same information I been giving them for 5 years the man unlocked my account. This is on September the 9.

    I call back and tell them I want to know the status on my account later that day. They tell me the same thing, my account has been locked. They unlock it again which I didn't care about because I check my account by text messages. The next day September the 10 I call to check for the same thing because my money still isn't on my card. They asked me for my information. I gave it to him. He puts me on hold and comes back and says, "What are the answers to Secret Questions for your online account?" Once again I tell them I don't use my online account because I receive texts alerts or rather I call. I told him I didn't know because they had locked me out a long time ago. So I can't remember that information. But I do know my username, another information about my account.

    Normally they don't ask me anything about my online account because when you pull my account up you can see that I don't go online to check my account. I use my text messages so he puts me on hold again. Mind you now he still hasn't answer my question about my money being deposit from my school when that is the reason I called anyway. And I have been dealing with Rush Card since 2007 so they should have on record. I have never had a problem until now. Plus I still haven't received my money on my card from school and they sent that on Wednesday September 9, 2014...

    They blocked my account September 11, 2014. And today is Friday September 12, 2014 and my account is still blocked, say No Deposit has been made in the last 35 Days. THIS ISN'T RIGHT. I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE BEEN TREATED WITH SO MUCH DISRESPECT... AND THE SAD PART IS THEY CAUSED MY ACCOUNT TO BE BLOCKED. THEY DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ME AFTER THIS...

    Someone tried to access my account and the RushCard company has put me through hell to unblock my card. I've faxed info 3 times. They told me 2 business days and my card would be unblocked. Guess what? 2 business days still blocked. I have no access to my money. I have rent and kids. I’m beyond pissed. RushCard sucks!!!!!

    I've been with rush for 4 yrs now and someone stole my card. But in order to get another card they tell me it will take 7-10 business days. I'm really piss cause I have to pay bills. But now they saying they can do it but pay $30. That's some **??.... They really don't help customers out who have been with the company for quite a time.. Now I have to transfer my but I don't have my cvv number cause someone stole my card, but they expect you to know that **.

    Set up account and direct deposit posted to card (2 days before payday). I never received my card and I called to have replacement sent and was told "since I never activated card, I couldn't receive replacement." How can I activate a card I don't have? Was told to keep on waiting. So my entire paycheck is being held hostage!!! I was told there is nothing I could do but wait. To top it off the people you speak to are in the Philippines... Don't get me started with that!! (whole different complaint)!! So now I have to go to my payroll department, have the money reversed and wait another 2 weeks to get it back. Worst experience EVER!!!!!! I even asked if I could have the money transferred to someone else who has a card.. Answer: "I can't do anything since I haven't activated the card." Once again how can I activate a card I don't have? AWFUL program!!!!

    I have had my rushcard for almost 10 years now, and I have never had a problem with them...until recently! I have been fighting with them over a dispute for a while now. I checked my balance in December 2013, and was informed that I was -$57.97! First off, how the hell does this happen on a PREPAID CARD??? When I called customer service, they informed me that the debit from my account was incurred back in July of 2013! Since when are the funds not immediately taken out of my account?? Also, the debit was for a place, city, and state that I have NEVER BEEN TO!

    When I informed the customer service associate of this, they informed me that I had to file a complaint, which I did, and now, OVER A YEAR LATER, the debit is STILL there!! I use to put THOUSANDS of dollars in my account every month! You would think they would be a little more concerned about the money and the "valued" customer they are losing by pulling this crap, but obviously not! I refuse to close my account because I am hard headed and want them to see just how much money they are losing out on!

    I had contacted RushCard customer service several times to make sure I has step by step instructions on how I could receive a $3000.00 Bank wire... Well today is now day 2 and Rush does not have my money nor can they even tell me if it's pending... Somewhere $3000.00 is floating in RushCard or Green Dot banks accounts... I have made so many calls, I cannot get no help from no one... My person who wired the money has put a stop on it. However, this has put me in a real bad situation... Thanks for allowing to vent to someone... I am so worn out mentally over this. I am pretty sure Russell Simmons who backs this card would be so disappointed to hear how horrible his customer service is... on a product he brands....

    So up until yesterday, I have been fairly happy with Rushcard services. I do not use my bank account to shop online and thought this was a good alternative, and eBay Paypal purchases have been great, but I made 4 purchases from AliExpress (mainly China goods) and 2 went thru with no issue but the last 2 came back declined. When I called, the customer service agent in other words basically said you're ** outta luck. I ask how can 2 orders go through and other 2 not? She said "I don't know but I cannot approve the transaction." She assumed it was due to merchant being in China, but did not have a real answer.

    So this morning, I called 3 different numbers to see if I can transfer my money to a different card or account. Everyone is redirecting me to another number or department. Then I go to try and get info on the site and I can't enter any letters or numbers in spaces provided for my information..Well needless to say, I have taken all of my money out and will not use Rushcard services. If you are making eBay purchases, this is ok. But do not expect any help if needed and do not expect to have the freedom of shopping where you like with your own money..

    I did not want to give them the one star! I was a fleeing domestic violence victim so my money was urgent. I used an ATM to withdraw $300 from my RushCard. No money came out. Spoke to the bank, they wanted badly to work with RushCard to put the money back on my account. The bank told me to file a dispute with Rush and to have RushCard contact them and it would be settled. No way was this resolved in the way my bank resolves issues. Filed dispute June 2, 2007. Did not hear from them despite many, many phone calls and lies. By now the amount I was owed was $310.89, fees. Then August 7, 2007, I received a letter from them postmarked August 3 and the enclosed letter was dated June 30, 2007!!! WTH??? It felt scammish to me.

    The letter asked me to send in the forms enclosed with the letter and I would have my money quickly. I faxed the information over that day, and no word from RushCard!! When I called, got passed around. The Disputes Department had an answering machine and no one called. I needed my money. I had just left and had to go to Africa to see about my ailing father, on top of fleeing domestic violence. I called and called and called again, but if I got a live person, I was lied to. If I got an answering machine, no one called back. Sometimes when you called the disputes department the line was busy, busy, busy. I was sinking deeper into depression.

    So much had happened and now $300 of my money was gone. I cannot afford to lose $300. Russell Simmons may be able to if his company has a history of doing this, they are earning interest on our money! At some point, I would sink so low and on top of that have 3 auto-immune diseases that are rare and one is life threatening! Stress can activate the pain receptors. So I was in a lot of physical and emotional pain and sometimes I just could not call RushCard again and get back on the Uncle Rush Merry-Go-Round, I just couldn't. In fact, I am crying now because there is no end to this madness.

    Two weeks ago, I expressed my displeasure on their facebook page. Well they removed every post of those of us expressing displeasure and I know I was blocked and everyone else whose complaints they erased may have been blocked too. We were subjected to being talked badly about by "loyal" customers and could say nothing. Those who acted like RushCard soldiers, "Oh rush card has been good to me and my family, no problems" or express pleasure in the way Rush Card handled their money and if they put that in first and made a "small" complaint, they got ANSWERS! THEY were told to inbox the RushCard employee. I tried to do this inbox thing but guess what, there was no inbox to be found.

    Contacted RushCard and Uncle Rush on Twitter. Got direct messages from them thinking since they are the social media people they would escalate this issue to get it resolved, as opposed to them seeing me express my anger at their stupid direct messages telling me to do what I have done over seven years!! They told me they were not the ones who handled this and gave me customer service's phone number. Those people are in the Philippines and I tried that and Love, the supervisor did not call back as she said she would! At no time has anyone tried to resolve this. I have been on a merry-go-round with agent@RushCard.com with a ticket number and you know what? Same thing all over again. No resolution, just stalling tactics.

    How in the world do I get my money back? I need it and I am not feeling well enough to get back on the Uncle Rush merry-go-round. I just can't. It’s too much and seeing their don't care attitude makes me cry and more depressed than ever. What can I do please. I need my money. I am not Russell Simmons or even his ex-wife or his daughters who have access to unlimited amounts of money. I am someone who trusted his word, his company with my money and his company betrayed that trust. UniRush financial services needs to be sanctioned for all these complaints. While I am advocating for myself, how do we file complaints against UniRush with the Federal government? I am sure some laws are being broken and they ought to know. Please somebody, help me.

    I ordered a RushCard to use as a backup account and I received the card about a week later. Just to keep things simple I was waiting to receive my paycheck so that I could load money to the RushCard. Now This is where it gets interesting. I received a e-mail from The RushCard company stating: "James Let's not be frenemies." "Put money on your RushCard." I found this e-mail very disrespectful so I called them and told them that I do business with anyone who would write such an unprofessional e-mail to a customer. The woman said to me, "Are you sure it's from us?" and I said, "Dear, when I click on the link it takes me straight to your website!" I have attached a picture of the e-mail.

    I went to the atm to withdraw 20.00. When I checked my online account I seen it took 40.00. In addition to the atm fees they took an extra 2.50 every time I used the atm. So in all reality, for a 20.00 withdraw I was charged 30.00 to use the atm.

    I got married July 4th, 2014 and called RushCard to change my last name. They kept giving me the runaround saying that they can't change my name till I email them a document proving that I am married. I sent those documents and called 4 times to see if they had them yet. They tell me, "We got the email but no documents". At first they tell me they can't give me a fax number and that email was the only way to get documentation to them but that was a lie! The Corp. gave it to me after all the bs they done put me through. Now it's the weekend and I can't fax my certificate to them till Monday and I get paid Tuesday so the question now is will I get my SSI STILL without the name change? SSI has me down under my married name though.

    I misplaced my card last week. I called to inform them. I was advised that a new card was being mailed to me on the same day. I advised them that I get paid the following Wednesday. They told me that the card was being mailed from Ohio and to allow 5-7 business days. I found my original card and advised them that I get paid TONIGHT and needed the money as I have bills to pay and I didn't have a dollar to my name. They told me that I couldn't use the old card because it had been blocked.

    I received my deposit and called Rush the next day to see what other options I have to get my hands on MY money. I was advised that I didn't have any and I just had to wait for the card to arrive. After crying to the rep, she advised me that she could expedite a card for me for 30$ and it would take 2 business days. But if the other card comes in the mail, that it would be blocked. I asked if I could Paypal the money to my other account, they told me NO.. I hate the fact that I can't physically get my hand on MY MONEY... They have no sympathy for their customers.. and if you don't have your card, then you are out of luck... And they lie.. I am closing my account ASAP.. I needed my money 2 days earlier but it isn't worth the hassle... Thanks RUSSEL SIMMONS. Great job.

    I have been emailing and I faxed documents to Rushcard the same documents over and over again. My card is blocked and I am in jeopardy of being evicted and my current electric bill is due on July 24 and not to mention my rent is past due. I have been told 1 to 2 business so much I don't want to hear those words again. I have lost all hope. I feel like they are not only holding my money but my children and I hostage. I want to know if anyone else experienced this, what was the outcome and how long did it take? I'm so stressed, confused and angry that I have to hide my biggest fears from my children. I'm suppose to protect them and I feel I have let them down. Rushcard will never know this is so serious that I have starting packing because the reviews I have read are not positive.     I have been battling tooth rush to release my tax refund for over 48 hours. After sending in the repeated information that this scam service asked they again refused to release my refund. After telling them to send my refund back I was told it can take 5 days because they send it to their bank before the IRS. Can someone please contact me regarding this? After looking up their website apparently this has been a known practice of Rushcard causing them to be complete scam. I have their representatives makes and ID numbers. They refused a physical address so I could go there and said repeatedly no one way over the supervisors.

    Someone used my Rushcard information in Flushing, NY - two separate transactions - and your call center tells me it can take 45 to 120 days to have my money returned to me. The transactions in the amount of $329.68 and $480.37 emptied out my account. I have no monies to get me through the week or to pay my current bill. Target won't accept any calls to stop these pending transactions and I am left with a locked account with a new card on the way with no money. I have used direct deposit with your company for some time now. It seems your call center is telling me to just sit and wait. I don't understand how your company isn't being proactive about this issue and contacting Target to inform them of the fraudulent charges so I can have access to the money I worked for.

    Rapid reload 400.00 was done in CVS Pharmacy. Deposit was not added to RushCard. Customer service dept including supervisor are back and forth. Asking to send in fax of receipts. Now stating receipts aren't clear. 8 days and still nowhere with this matter. I am having to email after speaking with about 8 people. I was told case could be closed if mailed. I am very upset about this situation. Everyone is stating that they will help, but proof can't be read. They need one business day to do everything. No one calls back if fax can't be read. You are waiting on someone from a "special "department to call back, but you never hear from them because documents are on fax machine. They tell you one thing and then if you go on and on, they will walk to fax machine....... It is really driving me absolutely crazy.

    Friday, July 3, 2014: Around 5:30pm CST, I went online to apply for a Rushcard, and I was also denied a prepaid Visa Rushcard. I went through each step of the application process, and I gave them my personal and accurate information. The system said that my information was not processed, and it referred me to customer service with an application number. I called customer service, and they hung up on me several times. The customer service representative was very rude, and she was very unknowledgeable of the company's procedures. She told me that my information was wrong, and that I wasn't that person. They denied me a prepaid Visa Rushcard, and she said that I didn't meet the requirements.

    I asked her if they did credit checks or background check, and she said that they did in order to get the card. Personally, I thought that a credit check or a background check wasn't a requirement?? I had a prepaid Rushcard a couple of years ago, and it expired on me. The same information was used with both cards, and I still don't understand the real reason that I was denied. I am a full time college student, and the same information is on my college application. I will be monitoring my credit history from now on, because I smell a scam... IDENTITY THEFT...

    I called in to Rushcard because my card would not work. Then all of a sudden they tell me my card is blocked so I need to send in some documents. I have sent in every piece of document I have been asked to and my money on my card is still blocked. I have bills, kids and have had death in my family.     My direct deposit was posted to my account on Friday 06/27/2014 at 7 p.m., I made three transactions & by 6 p.m. on Saturday 06/28/2014 all of my money had been withdrawn from my account at the hands of a THIEF. I called RUSHCARD & the young man (David) who stated I was the 2nd call that he had received on today in regards to money being STOLEN from a customer's account. **NOTE** This is the SECOND time this has happened to me :-(!

    RUSHCARD'S CUSTOMER SERVICE response: 1) They will report my current card as stolen/lost, 2) Send me a new card 3) I'll have to wait at least 48 hrs before I can OFFICIALLY file a written complaint - because RUSHCARD has to wait for the transactions to process- before taking action and in the meantime 4) I may have to wait 120 days before getting my funds return to my account after they've complete their investigation. ***If anyone can please tell me if their mortgage, rent & utilities companies will wait (120 day = 2 months) to pay their bills - Please let me know? Needless to say that after all of this I will definitely be closing my account - I can't take this anymore - RUSHCARD is the WORST ever!

    I made a payment online with sprint and I overpaid. I IMMEDIATELY called Sprint and they reversed the payment. This was on 6/20/2014 and it is now 6/26/2014 and RushCard will NOT release my funds back to my card AFTER placing not one nor two but THREE conference calls to Sprint and speaking to THREE different supervisors. The supervisors at Sprint informed all three reps I spoke to at RushCard that the only thing Sprint can do is back out the payment, in which Sprint did this less than 10 minutes after the payment was originally processed on 6/20/2014.

    RushCard is a scam and full of **. I wish I had never opened an account with them and AS SOON AS my attorney get my funds back to my card I will be closing BOTH cards I have with RushCard. They have the WORSE customer service and NO EMPATHY for their customers at all. After all we, The Customers, are the reason they are employed in the first place and they should remember that!!!!!

    Rushcard offer more than over 100 free moneypass atm's. I get charged every month when I use a money pass station that's on their listing. I have complained about this for six months now and although they reverse the fees' and return the funds back into my account, why should anyone of their customers have to make sure they correct their mistakes?

    I placed a call to customer service and was treated deplorably by the Philippine customer service staff. After which I got totally locked out of my account and was not able to access it online. I then called back the customer service number and asked 4 ties to speak to a supervisor, was refused a supervisor and then hung up on.     I ordered a product from a company that I couldn't reach two minutes after I placed the order to confirm info. Their number was not in service, so I called their customer service line and couldn't get through.. I called Rushcard to cancelled the transaction before my card was accessed by through company. I was informed by rush agent that my card had not been accessed and would blocked from that transaction. It was only maybe 12 mins or so and she assured me that transaction was blocked.. But, the transaction went through and that company got my funds from my Rushcard account. If you say you'll stop a transaction, I'D appreciate it if you do.. to try a get reimbursed from that company, is way too much trouble.

    Make sure you give the family (Rushcard holders) the correct info. Some of us cannot afford the unexpected withdrawal from our account and don't need the stress it will to recoup these funds. I am a professional musician and would love to talk to Mr. Simmons anyway.... Tell him feel to hit my email, he'll be pleasantly surprised.. Thanks for the Rushcard family..

    On 6-7-14 at 7am, I had went to the US Bank in Chesapeake, OH to withdraw some money for the day and as any normal person who has something else on their mind... I drove off forgetting my card. About 10 am on my way to my niece's birthday party I had called the bank and sure enough the card was left. Oh you would think typical someone spent my money.... NO... The ATM shredded my card because it wasn't a US Bank card. Nothing they could say but "I'm sorry"!!!!

    So I called Rushcard frantically bawling, crying distraught because I now have no access to ANY $$$$ and I had just got paid. So Rushcard blocked my card... Cool. I understand to prevent fraud but unless I wanna pay $30 to expedite my new card to me, I'll have to wait 7-10 business days. Said, "There's nothing else they can do"!!!! Worried because I only have enough gas for work this week not to mention Father's Day and My dad's Birthday, I called again to see roughly how long 7-10 business days meant to "Rushcard"????? The projected date is now 6-18-14 for my new card to be sent out and the lady said she tried to get the expedite fee of a cardholder of 10 years but there was nothing they could do!!!!!

    There is no way to go to the bank and withdraw money unless you gave your card plus they blocked it so I don't have any access whatsoever and they did not seem to care!!!!! After I receive my new card and am able to withdraw all my money from it, I will no longer be using them as a prepaid card and I will also continue to spread the word to not use Rushcard.... Thought Russell Simmons was for the people but it seems he has plenty of money and cares about no one but himself!!!!!!

    On June 4th, I received an email regarding a pending deposit and to call. Further information was needed. I called and they advised me they needed a copy of my driver's license and social security card and a letter from social security why I was getting such a large amount. They already had my driver's license and social card on file. I sent a letter that came from the social security website and they said it was not good enough. I then sent another through email. They then said that was fine and they would expedite my file so I could get my deposit within 1-5 hours. After calling back they tell me it takes two business to verify my deposit. It's where I get my money every month. I called on Sunday to verify it will post Monday. They said they cannot give me a time or date because the main office had to release it. I advised them that I get the money every month. They said if I was not pleased they could send my deposit back and close my account. They are so rude and want to control what you get and what you can spend.

    On this past Wednesday June the 4th, I was waiting for my direct deposit to post but it never happened. So called customer service & was to by the Rushcard rep that I had the wrong account number that's why my deposit hadn't posted but explained that when I initially called in to make sure by verifying my account information, the rep before him told me that I had the right account number. Unfortunately for my part, the account number was wrong. I was instructed to find out from my employer the exact amount that was to be deposited to my account so I did that & I was told that they would be able to trace it once it's posted & they could transfer it to the right account.

    On June 5th, 2014, I used myRushcard at a store to get cash back. The transaction declined in the store. I was given a receipt showing declined. I check my Rushcard balance and the exact amount of the declined transaction showed pending and was no longer available on my card. I called customer service and was advised nothing could be done. I must wait 10 days for the transaction to expire for funds to be available. That makes no sense at all. Why is it pending if it's declined.

    On June 3rd, 2014, an agent who is employed at RushCard took it upon oneself to change my account and issue me a new card. I want to make clear that I never requested a new card from this agent nor did this agent consult with me before going forward with this transaction. I was later connected to speak with a manager by the name of Ms. **, which at this time I was told by Ms. ** that she would submit an email to the corporate office explaining the error on the part of RushCard and that she would be requesting that the corporate office send her a reference # so that I could acquire an express MoneyGram cash withdrawal with the $30 fee waived because this was, again, an error on the part of RushCard. I was told by Ms. ** that I would be able to go to a MoneyGram location first thing in the morning of June 4th, 2014 to withdraw the cash I needed to take care of my monthly business transactions.

    I feel as though the agent who is responsible for this incompetent error should be reprimanded for this vital inconvenience that he/she has caused me. This inconvenience has caused the phone company to terminate my phone service, and has also caused me to pay late fees for my rental apartment - not even totaling the fees I'll have to pay to have my phone service restored. I feel RushCard should take responsibility in assisting me with these fees that I have enlisted because of their error. It is now 10:36 Eastern standard time on June 4th, 2014 in New Jersey and I have not gotten an update from RushCard on the status of my supposedly express MoneyGram cash withdrawal. I am a very dissatisfied customer with the RushCard company. Thank You.

    I don't want to give them any stars. If I could put a minus number of stars, I would. Everything was great for a few months or so until I lost my card in late April (25th) of this year. I immediately called to report it and was promised a new card in 5-7 business days. Day 9 came so I called and I was advised to wait 10 days. I asked why was I lied to and they should make up their mind on when I should receive it and suggest 15 days --or I would have understood it better if they were completely honest with me in the beginning. All I got were platitudes and lip service. I requested to have my funds sent via express mail. I was told it would cost me, not them -- US$30. In my opinion, they should eat the cost and the whole ordeal would have ended much sooner.

    Day 11 (May 9) I requested the card closed and my funds mailed to me with a check (est. US$680.00) via certified mail. I was advised again that it would be coming to me in 7 business days, so I re-verified my address with apartment number and it appeared everything would go smoothly. I told them that their business is not in integrity and are obligated not to give incorrect information and I have no reason to trust them given the circumstances. I repeatedly requested a tracking number from the post office and they refused to give it to me, but only offer a confirmation number, which I said does absolutely nothing for me.

    Day 12 new card comes in and it's blocked even when I activated it, and now I'm waiting for the check. I was assured after making another phone call that the check does have the apartment number. I find out (May 23rd) that the check had not arrived. I got an email, not a phone call -- that the check came back to them without the apartment number and the funds will be available to me in 2-3 business days. They lie, they, lie they lie...

    This is day 2 (05/28/2014) of waiting to get the funds back. In the meantime, cannot add new card to an existing account or create a new one until I load money on it. Funny, when the first card came in I was able to create the account then add the money. The old card info shows up on my app so what is the problem? ***I want my funds by May 29, 2014 or I will become very, very, upset. *** I worked for this money, they did not. I want my money sent to me via FedEx and they only pay the express charge, because someone 'dropped the ball' on leaving off the apartment number on the check. How was the apartment number omitted when it was already on my profile? They talk nonsense!

    This business must be ordered to do the right thing (tell the truth, take responsibility, be proactive, accurate and respectful) or be shut down. This is unacceptable to run a business in this fashion. These passive aggressive, lying, stalling tactics have no place anywhere and using my money or anyone else's money as a chase the money game are completely off limits. If they want to play with money ***they should take their own to the nearest casino. *** I will say this the person(s) who owns the Rush Card company:

    It is unacceptable to lie about delivery times -- do not play with my money, everyone else's and give it back immediately, even if you have to eat up the cost of express mail via the USPS, which are minimal. This method of doing business is not working and created massive inconveniences for many people including myself. Start being accountable, respectable and accurate and prompt with customer's transactions. When your reps who work the front line do the right thing, your customers will refer others, but at this time, no referrals will be made until these breaches in trust and nonexistent customer service issues are corrected.

    After all of these complaints, surely some federal entity should have stepped in and taken action immediately against this a long time ago... it is time to take action now.

    I have been trying to get all funds held by Rushcard.com since June 26th of 2012. All I get is the runaround and lip service. I have tried sending letters, telephone calls, faxes; I've sent all the documents requested, nothing works. A warning to anyone who does any business with this company: They are crooks out to steal your money. Find a card company with integrity!

    This morning I received an email from a RushCard customer specialist assuring me that my state refund was deposited in my acct. I then checked my acct and it was, in fact, deposited. I replied with a thank you and I'm leaving this message 2 let everyone know that the situation was resolved.

    IRS finally approved my state tax return (waiting since March) and sent my refund to Rush Card, and they wont post the funds to the acct. On the 19th of May, I was asked to upload ID, 1st page of state tax return and SS card, which I did. I called to make sure docs were received and was told the 1st page of state tax didn't tell them what they needed to know and to send proof of address. I then sent all 3 pages of the state tax so they can choose which page they wanted and needed. I tried to get an explanation for the request of the docs and was told it was because the address did not match and refund amt did not match. I stated a portion of the money was withheld to pay a debt, they asked what debt, I stated Medicaid. I also stated I just moved about a 1 1/2 months, and furthermore, why was I not asked to provide docs after I changed the address, which was done more than a month ago. No explanation.

    On the 22nd, I went to DMV and acquired a valid state ID. I called and spoke to a rep, stating I received an interim paper copy of the ID and the actual pic would take 2 weeks to come in the mail and if that would be ok and was told unfortunately, "no", they needed the picture on it. I stated you wanted proof of address, it has my name and address on it, what's the issue now? I offered to send along my lease and was told, that's fine and good, but I'd have to wait for the pic ID to come in the mail (which would take 2 weeks). I was already told that the money will be sent back to IRS after 7 days of noncompliance, so sending in the pic ID when I get it in 2 weeks would be pointless, which I relayed to rep, in not so very nice language.

    To date, money has not been posted to acct. I've had the Rush Card since November of 2013 and have not had an issue with deposits till now. I'm not sure why I'm having such a problem getting money that belongs to me, that I worked for, and that IRS feels like refunding back to me. I didn't have an issue getting my Federal refund. Their policies suck and they suck as a corporation.

    I called 2 weeks before I was going to get laid off from my job because I knew I was getting a severance for a nice amount of money. I called explained to the rep my situation with getting laid off and asked "is there a max on how much can be direct deposited from my job?" She said "no", that's all she said. I'm going to check my account online and see all these complaints about the limit being $5000.00. At this point I'm mad as hell because the rep just told me "no", nothing about sending in paperwork. So I call and the lady tells me "Yes there is a limit. If it's over the limit I have to send in documents.” But she can't tell me what needs to be sent in. I have to wait to receive an email. I'm sorry that doesn't work for me news flash – IT’S MY MONEY!!

    I called the corp office and they told me what needed to be sent in, gave me the fax number. I faxed it and uploaded the documents to my account. Lo and behold I still receive a text message telling me the deposit is pending to call. Why did I even bother calling!! The rep who didn't even look at my account goes into telling me I need to send in documents. I immediately cut her off and said "I faxed the documents and uploaded them look at my account." She says "Oh ok, let me email our corp office with the info." Shouldn't they have it if I faxed it to them?

    She begins to tell me after sending the email it could take 1 to 2 business. I explained to her I will give them until Friday when I am suppose to be paid, if not I'm going to look into getting a lawyer. You can't keep somebody's money because your employee was feeling lazy and didn't want to give all the details. I obviously called in ahead of time so I could have my money deposited into a different account if there was a limit!! I have been a customer with Rushcard for 2 years but after this experience I'M DONE.

    After making a report on the store used my card and never cancelled the transaction, I called Rushcard. They took the report and told me I would have to wait 10 days for a provisional credit and would mail me a report to sign and fax back in 10 days. No one informed me that the form is what they used to decide if you get this credit. Bankcorp who take care of this has done nothing to help. Rushcard people tell u to wait for the credit it will post to your account, which is a fat lie.

    I put money in the rushcard to purchase some things online to protect my credit card. The company that I ordered from is located off shore so the transaction was declined (so what good are their card). I called to have my money returned. I hope they don't find some other reason to keep my money. My advice is don't purchase their card.

    So I got a dd today from the IRS so I get a message saying that my deposit is pending. Talked to numerous people that I can't understand. Had the whole runaround with them all day. Now they're saying I have to send in documentation to get my deposit released. I'm calling corporate in the morning to get this squared away so p***ed.

    I have been waiting on my card since April... Check been deposited on there. Call for a replacement card and updated my address because I wasn't receiving the card. So I finally gets the damn card, activate it and use it to get a coffee. Go to the car wash, the card is BLOCKED.... I call them. Now I have to send in all these documents and verifications just to get to my money... I have so many bills backed up waiting on this and I still can't get to my money. I have never been so upset in my life. How are you holding my money? I sent what they needed. Now it takes 1-2 days to verify the info. I'M DONE WITH RUSHCARD. THEY CAN KISS MY **!!!

    I proceeded to log into my Rushcard online account only to find out that my account is blocked. Upon calling the customer service department, I found out the reason why my account is blocked was that I withdrew my funds the same day it was deposited. Unbelievable, is there a penalty for withdrawing your own funds? I told them to send the balance that was on my account. I am done with Rushcard. The fees are crazy and the service is poor.

    Do not get this card. They not telling you the facts ahead. I deposit 3000 in order to purchase a vacation package. When I tried to make the purchase for 2580 it declined and when I called they told me my the daily purchase limit is 2500 which they never tell you before you get the card or when you deposit the money. Then i was told even the purchase didn't go through I could not use it for another 24 hours to make a purchase. They held my money without my consent and I couldn't use them for the purpose I deposit them. I called several times and got disconnected and it was very frustrating I couldn't use my own money to do what I want. It felt like dealing with the mob! I'm cancelling this card.

    On 3/15/14 I, Kenny **, enter Family Dollar Store to purchase a Rush (like Green Dot card) card and make a disbursement of 400.00 + Fee. Upon activation of the card in the name of Springfield Computers which activated fine, was the following day declined. Calling the same day to ascertain the wherewithal of the status of the card, I am told they will send a check in the mail for the full amount and that I cannot use the name Springfield Computers which is the name on the sign out front and is locally known as Springfield Computers but is owned by Baldino Computer Repair (in Springfield). Our motive in using the name rather than my personal name is so that if I send someone out to the corner store for supplies that the name will not stop the person's purchase (i.e. I cannot leave and haven't driven in over a decade).

    16 Days later, on 3/31/14, I receive a check but instead of my name, as asked by the person making the telephone confirmation of the check process with me, I receive a check of 409.95 payable to Springfield Computers. During the call I am told to hang tight, a new check is on the way in my own name (that just happens to go along with the social security number, address, city, d.0.b. etc.). More than another month later, 5/1/14, I just HAPPEN to be cleaning when I find this check and wondered aloud as to where the hell is the check they said they were going to remake in my name and send as the replacement?

    Upon calling, they said before the check could be re-issued out that I need to download a dispute letter from their website and supply a copy of the original receipt. So, after an hour of digging through mounds of receipts I have what is believed to be the right receipt but decide to call up and verify the receipt before bothering to locate a scanner and a fax machine… Like when are we going back to the phone-age anyway?

    The RushCard representative informs me, “Oh no, we don't need a dispute letter; we need a copy of your driver's license and a copy of the original receipt and we'll need the card mailed back (the one that was never used but is already canceled at their end) and a scan of the original card with a piece of paper beside it with this reference number (she gives me the lengthy reference number)!!!!!

    Now I began to ponder out some good points, like: Why is it that corporations can profiteer, extort, manipulate, and steal (yes steal, by keeping me from what is rightfully mine is stealing). Why tell me two months ago that they would be sending me another check in my name since they are the ones that made the mistake of sending the first check in another name than that which they required of me, and not send it... And if there were other requisites/revelations that prevented said check then why wouldn't I receive some sort of call or email or any of the ethical effort one might take to ensure that the rightful owner receive their own money?     Don't ever sign up with Rushcard, all their advertisement is false and especially for taxes refund. So I decided to go towards Rushcard. Hey, who wouldn't after letting me know that I will be receiving my tax refund two days earlier? Well I got an email from Rushcard asking me to contact them for I can provide more documentation such as State issue ID, Social Security and 1040 form. So I contact them, grab the information and fax number and fax it to them and this is Wednesday. So I faxed everything and contact them again. The representative told me that my Social Security card copy wasn't good so I went back. Keep in mind I paid 1.50 for each to be faxed so now I have to pay another 1.50 but I didn't care because I was told I was going to get my taxes on Friday. Perfect, I said.

    I sent the fax again and the lady told me everything look great. I got confirmation that everything was good. Waited for Friday and nothing was in my Rushcard. The lady told me that it will take until 5pm. 5pm came along and now it was 6:30pm. I called and the lady told me that the document that showed my Social Security wasn't there. I was very upset and still I am very upset because we're on Saturday and because they made a mistake now I have to wait until Monday. And the funny part is that corporate doesn't have a number, they email them. I wonder how many emails corporate gets that they lose track on information. Please people don't open a Rushcard. Everything is a lie. Try out AccountNow or Chase has a Prepaid Card that is really good as well. Rushcard is a horrible company and service. I will make sure to let everybody know that.

    This is my third disappointment with Rushcard and their band of thieves and customer dis-service reps. The first time was about a year ago when I had to pay for my car insurance. My wife and I loaded a Greendot money pack card (which is an accepted method of loading money) and proceeded to transfer the money to my rushcard. When I finished the loading process, I waited a few moments and checked my balance which was still at zero. I waited a day or two and still nothing. I even checked to make sure that the money was not still on the Greendot money pack and it wasn't there. I called Rushcard and they told me that it was a Greendot problem, but when I called Greendot they said that it was clearly transferred.

    Since that money just disappeared into thin air (or into Russell Simmons' pocket), my car insurance still needed payment plus a late fee now because of this affair. I saw no option but to load another sum of money to regain insurance coverage and lost that too. I have since stopped using my card. Now my wife is expecting payment via Direct Deposit from her employer and we still have not received her remuneration. This service sucks and I will continue to spread the word about this thievery for as long as I have the ability to keep others from throwing away their hard earned money.

    My tax preparer transferred money out my account amounting close to $2000. February 2014 called it and THEY refunded $250 and unlocked my card then sent me a letter saying my case was closed. I called asap. They reopened my case, froze my account. I did everything they asked, filled out dispute form, sent in police report and a rebuttal for them to tell me they wasn't perusing the investigation. My case was closed. I would have to go after my tax preparer. Been going through this since February 14 then told me they was mailing me my remaining balance like I stole from them. They completely gave me the runaround but you BEST believe they took their fee every month. My cards been blocked. I don't advise anyone to get a card from these people. They don't have a main branch. All you have is phone talk and these representatives get real arrogant with you. I'm go figure out how to bring them to an end.

    About two months ago me and an ex had a fight and broke up. She stole my personal information and called Rushcard. She told them that she was my wife and for them to send her a card to the account, which automatically canceled my card. Rushcard never got my approval to authorize this and has taken me two months to receive my funds even after they put a stop payment on the check, which I deposited into my bank account twice because they told me the stop payment was gonna be taken off which never was, so my bank account is overdrawn $200 & they no longer want me banking with them anymore. This company is full of crap when it comes down to give you your money that's owed. I was never married and even still this should not had happened.

    I hope that maybe I can ease some people's minds. I have been a Rushcard customer for 2 yrs and I have not had any issues but on the hand I feel that Rushcard should have told customers that if your refund is over $5000.00, then you will have to send in required paperwork because that is the limit that you can load to your card and only a 1000.00 a day. Now in my situation, I just happen to be looking online and seen the post about Rushcard. Thank God I did because I would have really been upset being as I already had to wait for my return all most 8 weeks. I'm in a really bad situation and have no time to be playing games about my money. I have a ddd of 4-16-14 so since I know my return is over the limit, I faxed my paperwork in today and I am also going to upload it because I'm not going to take the didn't receive my paperwork.

    I didn't waste time talking to the Rushcard reps because like other customer have said, they are foreign and you can't understand what they are saying. You have a better chance of calling the corporate office. This is the number, 513-489-7874, and the fax number is 513-247-2725 just in case. If you can prevent the delay, do it because you will save yourself the headache. I also called to be sure they received my paperwork. They told me to contact them in the morning at 830am. I let them know my situation and that I had no time for them to be messing around with me so just tell me what I need or have to do verify my paperwork and release my money. You already know I'm getting my refund deposited so there is no reason for you all to take your time and waste mine. I hope this info helps someone who is going to get their refund.     I spoke to over 10 reps, supervisors to have old statements emailed to me. They have appeased me for over 1 week. They couldn't give me the requested information. I called the corporate office Unirush and the woman on the phone told me there was nothing they could do to help me. I have had the same account just new card numbers because cards expire. This company is a big waste of time and energy. It's all good when they get your money or charge you for every damn record they send you. This has been such an inconvenience. I have 3 cards with them. You just lost a good customer.

    I had a pending deposit for the amount of $31,332 from social security disability on 3/26/2014. I've made several calls, sent several copies of supporting documentation only to find out that the check was sent back TODAY at 11:00 am by CORPORATE because the name on that particular card did not have my maiden name. If CORPORATE had reviewed my accounts, they would have seen that my maiden name is included on the other accounts. I also spoke with several customer service reps that kept telling me that it would be release in 1-2 business days. This was ongoing from 3/26/2014 to today. Why did they have me send supporting documentation knowing that they were going to return the check? Please advise.

    I have been a client with them for five years and never had a major problem until now. I just got my back pay from the department of veteran's affairs. They posted it on the first of this month. I received a notice that it was pending and tried to have the issue resolved. They would request information from me and then tell me it was okay, only to do the same thing the next day. I have sent birth certificate, three IDs, a letter from the VA, leases, bills and every other form of verification that can be sent, still to no avail.

    This morning, I complained using their Facebook page and they assured me they would fix it. It is now 6:55 and there has been no change. My family is now homeless because of these bastards. I've set up a Facebook page to organize enough complaints to file suit or at least get the media's attention and see that this doesn't happen to others. It's the Rushcard dissenters page if anyone wants to help take them down. This can't keep happening to hard working people.

    On or about Mar 26, 2014, a direct deposit was send to my Rushcard account to be deposit. Because of the large amount of the deposit, I was told that more information was needed from me to prove that the money were mine. I forward the paperwork that was needed to prove who I was, that the money was mine. Then they told me that they needed a letter from the VA showing the amount and that it was for me. I called the VA and told them what the Rushcard people needed from them. VA fax them the letter while I was on the phone with them.

    Four days had passed and when I called Rushcard to see if they had received the letter, and they assured me that all was good to go. One day later I called Rushcard and I was told that the deposit was return to the VA. Because they didn't tell me that they was going to sent it back, really put me in a bind. I will close out my account with Rushcard and will tell my story to any who might think about getting a account with Rushcard.

    I can't believe what Rushcard does is actually Legal. My money was deposited on my card March 12, 2014. I withdrew some of the money off the card. I then go to make a withdraw on March 20, 2014 and I am then informed my card has been blocked and I need to provide documents to prove who I am. I have sent in everything short of a picture of me by my mailbox holding my ID. They won't accept my proof of address printed out by my electric company and being that I am on a prepaid plan, I don't receive an actual bill. I call the 513 Number that has been provided and they are just as non-helpful. How could this possible be allowed. If I take someone's money and not give it back without proof of everything necessary to steal an identity, I would be in jail. Someone please show me a way to shut them DOWN.

    The Agents at Rush Card block a payment I was making to my Attorney in the amount of $674.45. It's been going on two weeks. 3/25/2014 up to now, I have been sending all types of documents proving I am who I said that I am. I sent my light bill, my bank statement, my ID. They said it's too dark. I send other paper proving my address. They said they haven't received and I sent 2 copies at the same time. These people are ridiculous. I sent my SS ID; this is the 4th fax I have sent to these people. Russell Simmons, you need to answer to these messages.

    I got my income tax refund on March 13 and Rushcard blocked my card telling me to send in documents. After sending in all the documents and calling them every day for 3 weeks, they informed me that because I have a payee for my social security checks, they will not send me my money because it's for me to pay bills with but it's from the IRS. It has nothing to do with social security. Does anybody know if there's something I can do?

    I've had prepaid cards in the past and by far this is a real scam. DO NOT subscribe or enroll to this rush card, it won't benefit you in any way. They have control of your money, not you and that's wrong. You're on their terms and you spend your money when they say so. Stay away!!!! You can get a better prepaid card at a bank with all services benefiting you plus it helps establish positive credit.....

    On 03/28/2014 some used my RushCard numbers and took 953.23 off my card. I immediately contact Rush and they told me where the transactions took place. I made a police report and Meijer’s in Southfield, MI agreed that it was fraud due to whomever not using a PIN going through the self-serve line and buying gift cards. The store also saying they have already received my money illegally. I was informed by Rush that no dispute claim could begin until the hold was off. How can a store be paid but there is a hold? UM ok so now I have to wait 7-10 days for the form to come in the mail. Bad Business practice, will never allow MR. SIMMONS to manage my hard earned money again.

    Me and my husband ordered our Rushcards on 3/08/2014. And we did this before doing our tax refund. When we did our refund, we asked for direct deposit. I received my new card in the mail on 3/14/2014 but not my husband's. When our tax refunds were sent out, it went into my husband's card, which we have not received. We called and what they did was block the first card, and decided to start a whole new application for another card. We have been waiting and calling the customer service # every day since. AND WE STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY ONE OF THE CARDS. And yet we're still being told if it does not come in by 3/31/2014, we still have to reorder another card and wait 7-10 days. This is a bunch of bs. On top of all that, they cannot even transfer the funds into my account. I would not trust anyone wanting to apply with this company. I am no longer going to be a customer. This company needs to be reported and shut down IMMEDIATELY!!!

    Rush blocked my card, because they're stupid as **. My wife's card has been blocked for two months. Tonight $4,095.00 was blocked on my mother's cards. WTF!!!! Called Rush and get told a bunch of **. Rush actually violates their own terms of agreement. You mean to tell me I can't use my money how I want to. Got me ** up. Umma go broke getting my money. Even when I called tonight, I heard another rep tell a person why the card was blocked. We really gotta do something about Rush.

    After jumping through hoop after hoop fighting with Rushcard about the block they put on my card. After hours of being on the phone, hours of researching online, I talked to Visa, JP Morgan Chase, and Bancorp. I finally got the number for UNIRUSH which is the actual name of Rushcard. With very much appreciated help of the rep with Bancorp. He advised me the number to UNIRUSH corp. office was (513) 489-7874 (8-5) EST. and as soon as the lady says "Thank you for calling UNIRUSH" press the zero to talk to a live person in the corporate office.

    I didn't have hardly no wait maybe 2-3 minutes. A very kind and helpful lady named Cathy answered. I asked if this was the corporate office for RUSHCARD. She said yes ma'am and I began to inform her to the issue I was having with the Rushcard. She was very helpful in resolving my issue. After I have faxed the requested information to the reps. at Rushcard they looked at them say that they was acceptable. When I talked to Cathy she said the proof or address I sent was not acceptable. She gave me this fax number (513) 247-2725 which is the fax number straight to corporate office.

    I sent the acceptable proof of address, she received them is less than 10 minutes. I called her back. She took probably a total of 5 minutes to review them. She came back on the line and informed me that she was going ahead and removing the block off my card. I'm sorry everyone going through this BS with them as did I. But, I hope this helps everyone who is truly in need just as I was. I'm only one person so can you please help me pass this very helpful information to everyone in need. The block was put on my card on 3/24 at 4:00pm and it was removed 3/26 at 4:30pm.

    I had a direct deposit to go to my account with my name as well as my spouse. I spoke to someone that could barely speak English. They asked me to send in proof, DL and SS. I did that. They told me after 8 days that my money was being sent back to sender... because they had a 7 day deadline. Russell Simmons RUSHCARD IS A JOKE!!!! WHERE DID YOU GET THESE PEOPLE FROM....     This company sent us a prepaid card that we did not request. I don't think this should be allowed. I will not activate this card. It feels like a violation to pretend that we wanted this card when we did not apply for it. When I tried to call the customer service, they wanted the SS#. I hung up. I am not giving out that information. In reading the literature sent with the card, there were all kinds of fees associated with this card. I think people should be aware that this company is sending cards to people who did not ask for it. This should be illegal!!!

    Call 513-489-7874. If a rep can't help you, ask to speak with a supervisor or manager. My card "was" blocked on the 17th of March of this year and today on the 21st of March, I finally got some help accomplished... Within seconds my card was back active. I really hope this helps.

    I received my tax refund via direct deposit yesterday.. today I get a text message advising they blocked my account and I need to call immediately.. which I did. I spoke to someone I could barely understand, who advised me that because I recently moved my account is now under investigation! ARE YOU SERIOUS!! I too was told I need to fax over my DL, Social Security card and proof of address to complete the investigation. I was then told it would take 2 business days to unblock the account!! After several minutes of going back and forth with this person, I advised him once the funds were release, I would be pulling the money and going else where. He said if that was my choice I could... TALK ABOUT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I spoke to a supervisor, that got me nowhere. Same scripted advise. He could not give me a department or person's name to fax over the information to, he only gave me the fax # and said send it to Rush Card. Again what department I asked, he only said corporate.. I asked him where this corporate office was located, he said he could not give that information.....THEY ARE A JOKE !! I can't believe Russell Simmons would be associated with such a ridiculous company.

    IRS approves my refund and of course good ole Rushcard don't want to give it to me. Uploaded everything they asked for plus some and here I sit still trying to get my money released. I have to sit outside in the cold with my children less than 6 months old and wait for someone else who just so happens to not be there instead of in a hotel room as I would be if they released my funds like the U.S. I.R.S. directed. I mean geezzz. What do they do, hand out bonuses to the rep who refuses to release the most deposits or do they take all our money, throw it all in a pot and divided it between themselves? I WARN YOU, DO NOT put your refund or any other money for that matter in these people's hands........

    While doing my taxes this year, I requested that all my funds be processes to My RushCard. On March 06, 2014 I logged into IRS.com and saw that my funds were already posted into my Rushcard. I then logged into RUSHCARD.com and it showed that they needed more information about my IDENTITY. I called RushCard and they said they needed me to fax my ID, SS and the 1040 forms. That same day I went back to where I File my taxes and they FAXED over those documents to Rushcard. The very next day I called RushCard to verify that they had gotten the documents, and their reply was YES!! and that I will have to wait 1 to 2 business days for the documents to be process through another department. Ever since I've been checking my account online and all I saw was TRANSACTION PENDING. So on 3/15/14 I checked my account and notice that it said NO TRANSACTION PENDING.

    I called RushCard and the Stupid ** lady said that they only received the 1040 form and that they were still missing the copy of my SS and ID. So the very next day (3/16/14) at 10:00 am I re-faxed the missing documents once again. NOW today when I called RushCard, they said that my refund is being transfer and processes back to IRS because I never faxed them my DOCUMENTS. WTFFFFF!!!! The Most FUNNY ** ever is that I have the Proof that does documents went through the 2 times I faxed them in. This has never happened to me. I explain to them that this was unfair of them and that for that ** I wanted all my cards cancel and that I hoped they go out of business. You don't do this to NO ONE! Please if you're planning to do your taxes, don't have your funds deposit to RUSH** CARD. I'm very disappointed at this people. NEVER AGAIN I WILL EVER JOIN THIS COMPANY.

    Man, this ** Rushcard is a ** scam. I received my money, got a chance to spend at least $100. I go to get things that my two month baby needs and my card is blocked. I called and they tell me they need more documents. Okay fine, no problem. I upload them on the website but still my ** money is blocked so now I have a very fussy two month old baby who is in VERY MUCH NEED and I have no money to get net10 bills and rent is overdue.     My Husband got a rush card for his taxes to come on the IRS, sent his money to rush card. Now they want him to send in all his information, which he did and now they are giving him the run around about giving him his money. They know it's him because they have all his information. I'm trying to see if there is a way to get them shut down. If anyone can help me, please let my know by email me cause they need to stop doing people like this. If it was going to be a problem they should have never gave us the card which by the way it's in his name, dummy.     I'm so upset. Thursday I discover my card being blocked. I was very upset and I went through the proper procedure that they asked me to do. It is now Monday and I still don't have any access to my money. I explained that I was stranded, that I was starving that they literally had every dollar to my name on the card. They keep giving me the runaround and I'm getting very upset. I don't understand how RushCard could actually hold someone's money like this for this long. I can't pay my bills, I can't eat, I can't do anything. I was told that prepaid was good idea but this is bull crap in my book. I mean what the Hell I have to identify myself just to call Rushcard. When I speak to a rep I still have to give my Dob, my Ssn, My last digits on my card. I identify myself every time I call. My bills are now late, my rent can't be paid. More importantly I can't eat. I owe people money that they loaned over the weekend. This is frustrating and **. They won't give me corporate number. They won't review the previous calls so I can prove they all telling me different things. How can Rushcard just take people money like this?? How do they what situation we are in, where we might NEED MONEY. RUSHCARD NOT IN OUR LIFE, THEY DON'T KNOW WHY WE NEED OUR MONEY.

    RushCard Services are full of **. My IRS tax refunded was issued on my card over thee weeks ago. I called that stupid ** customer service number they provided, just to be told that they need some additional information from me, before they can release my funds. These ** wanted me to upload my s.s. card, 1040 forms, and my NYS ID card. I did so, although I was reluctant to do it. They then informed me that it would take 1-2 business days for it to reflect on my card. Well that was 03/10/2014, it's now 03/14/2014. Nothing is in my acct. Actually, I used to be able to view the amount of my refund. Since I uploaded my documents, I can't see my refund. It now says NO PENDING TRANSACTIONS... I'm pissed.

    I called them for 2 days and the robotic customer services reps only do what they are told. MORONS... Anyway I finally put in a complaint with the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection. You can do the complaint by phone, or with a rep or file one online both give you results. So somebody told me to call the Ohio office at 513-489-7874 ext. ** this sweet lady's name is **. Within 30 min. of that call my refund check of $2,157.00 was posted on my acct. Thank God for people like **.

    I received my IRS refund over a week ago and still nothing. Rushcard is still holding my money. They ask for me to send my documents to verify my identity, I don't understand why. They approve to send me a card, then they make it difficult to release the IRS funds. IRS has approved it and they have highest authority to check identity. Rushcard is not right.     I attempted to start using the bill pay, trying to get my life on a system using Rushcard. By the way, I'm on hold now for the last 20 minutes. I sent one of my rent payments through the bill payment system (Never again) on 2/13/14, well I don't hear nothing till March 3, 2014 @11:30 pm, I received an email state there was some reason my address was not correct? But my amount will be posted back to my account in 2/3 days. Ok thinking the mistake could have been me (yea right, talking about Rushcard customer service) I forward the email to rental office given my apologies and as soon as it hit my account. Now remember the email date was March 3, I gave it the 6th, (3) days, nothing in my account so I called on my lunch break.

    First, a guy answer. When I explain why I was calling he look in the computer then hung up. I'm thinking we were disconnected. So I called back 3 times. A lady answer the 3rd time, she didn't hang up. I explained my situation not yelling just asking if she can do it, she said yes. Well I get off at 6:00, nothing was done. I called again. Long story short, getting mad again, 7 days later, 200 in late fees, 6 emails sent to Bill payment and my money is still not on my account. I will be searching for a new pre-pay card. Rushcard service is not up to par. Their word is worthless. They are not dependable or reliable. I could possibly be evicted and all they have to say is they will email corporate and another 2 business days.

    I ask for a new card from rush on the 26 of Feb 2014. Today is the 3/6/2014, still nothing. I have called and talk to the customer service and all they can do is tell me that it's 7-10 days or pay 30.00 to send it to me fedex. They also updated my address with the wrong address. When I talk to a manager all they do is tell me the same thing 7-10 days it's been 6 days already today. I can't pay any bills. I have been a customer with rush for 9 yrs. I also have over 3400.00. They care nothing about the customer. If someone take money out your account, they tell as a bank you have to deal with that person yourself. I am done with them. I will be going bank to a real bank that will send me a bank card in 2-3 days. Rush can care less if the card is lost or stolen .

    These ** held my tax return and told me to send them my W2 1040 forms. I was like what the ** for I feel if the IRS approved it then what the hell you need it for?     Years of good service, now no one knows why my direct deposit has not posted. Talked to Social Security on the 4th @ 8am and the funds were released on the third. Hours on the phone between the two and still no money. Phone now off, rent due, utilities due, and Rushcard is not telling the whole story. Why? I have changed dd now but it will take effect until May. One check lost, another in question, and no help.

    I have been a Rushcard member since 2009. On 2/27/14 I made a transfer from one Rushcard to the other which usually it happens instantly. When it did not I called customer service which he tells me the biggest lie ever that it takes 24 hours for a transfer. Mind you, I have been doing transfers for years. I explained to him that was not the truth and can he show me where it says that which he tried to do. Well he puts me on hold, comes back tells me he spoke with his supervisor and he stated also it takes 24 hours. I called back the next day. Well now I'm informed that my transfer failed and he will email corporate and my money will be back on my card in 1 to 3 hours or did not happen. I called again same story, called again. Now this time it's 1 to 2 business days. This is such bull with Rushcard. Thanks to someone else who had a problem and found this number 513-489-7874 who fixed my problem in ten minutes. I would still be waiting on my money (When you call press 0).

    Thanks for posting the number for the Ohio office for Rushcard. Please everyone do call at Ohio number because there is a nice woman that will help you but if you have any money pending since February of last year now the money is located in the state office and they're saying it's going to take up to 7 years to get that money back.     I received my tax refund on a 2/24 but should have actually received it on 2/26. I too had to jump through hoops to try and get my tax refund. I had to submit my SS card, tax form, and a form of ID. I then decided to google to see if anyone else was having an issue. I immediately got frustrated and NEEDED my money and it had been 1 week. On the 8th day, I started googling any means possible to find a email address that was linked to Unirush/Rushcard. I found SEVERAL email addresses besides the agent@rushcard.com. By the end of the day they had posted my $1489.00 tax refund to my account. I even got a personal response from a customer service rep and have her extension and email address. PERSISTENCE is the key.

    I called Rushcard customer services to request another card due to the fact that my current card had started to crack. I informed the agent that I still had the card and it was still usable and I just wanted to get another card before the one I had actually broke completely. Instead of the agent putting in a request for a new card, he listed the card as lost/stolen so my account became frozen from that point on. When I called to make a complaint about this situation, I was informed that due to his negligence that there was nothing that they could do. All I could do is wait the 7-10 business days for my new card in the mail. I am totally disgusted because I have bills to pay and I cannot tell those people that Rushcard froze my account unjustly, they do not care, they just want their money. I have bills that were due this week but could not pay them due to this inconvenience, I have a bill that charges $75 per day for late fees and it's been 8 days and counting that I am incurring these late fees. I just wish that I can get a credit for these late fees that I am incurring due to their negligence.

    I have had a problem with Rushcard since I got it. Every time I call about my account, I get nothing but the run around. My pending transactions they keep telling me that there is nothing they can do and that I have to wait for the expire date or call the merchant and send it in, that the merchant has already collected and it has been over 10 days now and then that if I call the merchant, it is still 1-2 business days. And in my posted transactions history they can see the merchant has already collected all the funds. But yet they still will not release my money and I have been calling every day and talking to supervisors after supervisors and still nothing.

    I got a Rushcard recently so that I could have my tax return deposited on it. I got an email a week ago saying that I had a deposit pending and that I needed to call customer service because they needed additional information. Well I called and I was told I had to send them a copy of my SS, my 1040, and an ID. I DID THAT THE SAME DAY. After I sent them the documents I even called to verify that they received them. It's now been a week and every time I call they keep telling me it's going to take 1-2 days, but it's been past that 2-day time frame. As soon as I get my money I'm just going to take the money out and cut the card.. It wouldn't be such a big deal if it wasn't the fact that I need that money asap.

    I filed my income tax on 2/13/2014. I got a message from Rushcard asking for my 1040 form and without the form they cannot release my tax refund that is due to me as of 2/26/20114. I still have not gotten anything and if I don't send them what they want within seven days, they are going to send my money back to the IRS. I don't know what to do.

    So my funds was released to the account on Feb 12. On Feb 15, I sent all the documents that was asked. They told me call in 1-2 business days. I did, there was nothing. They told me I have to email my documents to agent@rushcard.com. I did 2 times said the documents wasn't received that I have to upload it in my profile and again another 1-2 business days. Once again nothing. I received an email saying that my documents was sent to this imaginary corporate, that is was those guys not releasing my money. Last night, I spoke to one of the "higher" supervisor name Fritz and he told me that my funds would expire today. For 2 wks I been speaking to supervisor after supervisor and not one told me my funds will expire. I'm a single mom of 3 kids currently in a shelter and not employed any more. PLEASE HELP.

    RushCard needs to be reported to SOMEBODY because this is utterly outrageous! I do not by all means understand the reason behind having a copy of 1040 Form from the IRS, State Identification Card and Government Issued Social! I swear before the love of God (I know I shouldn't swear but, this is a good swear) I will sue this company for each nickel, penny and dime! They aren't going to hear the end of this from me. No way, no how. I been constantly on these ** for days upon days now and YET TO RECEIVE MY HARD EARNED MONEY! Not just my hard earned money but as well as my husband. My husband and I are going through some tight, tough times and we needed that money in to get us on a smooth path and they keep holding onto it. I'm about to call these oversea, money grubbin', rude **, ignorant people and complain until my lips fall off!

    I'm angry at myself for thinking this was going to be a smooth thing with this company and/or PRE-paid debit card. As you can tell I put pre in all capital? Why?! Because being it is a prepaid debit card you should to be allowed to deposit or reload your PRE-paid card as often or as little as you wish. I know I'm taking out ALL of my funds and deactivating my card then shred it, burn it and with the ashes throw it in acid! Excuse my language but, I'm far from going to be nice about this and shall speak freely however I want about this situation at hand. ** them and ** their so called needed more documents.     The IRS sent my refund on 2/21/14 but Rush said they didn't see anything from The IRS. So I called them all weekend long until I rec'd my refund on 2/24/14 @ 6:31 am Eastern time. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS STAND YOUR GROUND!!! Don't let them run over you just because they're not in the USA. Things not to do: 1) Don't give them the total of your refund; 2) Don't send anything such as tax papers or IDs, it's not needed. Just keep telling them that you will call the IRS and let them know what they're doing and that there are over 300 unhappy cardholders online. I did all of the above and rec'd my refund in two days.

    PLEASE JUST GIVE IT A TRY!! Not an atty just giving some help in this area. I will never use this card again. Oh yes they will try to put a hold on your funds once you receive them saying you can't remove all your money from the card. Don't listen. If this happens call CS because you have a limit of $1500 from ATM and up to $600.00 using your card. READ EVERYTHING YOU CAN ON YOUR ACCOUNT AND KEEP UP WITH YOUR FUNDS... GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL.

    I will NEVER deal with Rush anything after trying to withdraw money from a Chase bank that didn't dispense. I was told that I had to wait until the bank did their final count which was done and several acct. reps from rush said that they see my money is there, and all I had to do was fax back the documents that was sent to me for my signature and my funds will be reversed back to my card.

    I couldn't withdraw more than $200 from any ATM and they kept saying that I reached my daily limit and now they are saying that I have to wait 120 days to get the money that is in dispute which I was told by the accounting department 1-2 business days. I wouldn't recommend this card to anyone it comes across as a scam and if you need your money, you won't get. Mr. ** needs to ASHAME of himself with this bogus RIPOFF.     IRS posted my funds on the 16th and like everyone else I have yet to receive my money. I'm wondering if I ever will and I know I am not alone. Will anyone do anything to help? Please, I'm a single mom of four who is no longer working. I need my money.

    My Rushcard was also compromised for $1840.22. I had no problem getting my money back from Best Buy where the purchases were made, but I am having a hard time getting a new card. The first time they mailed me a card and said it would take 7 to 10 days to receive. I then call back because I hadn't received a card, and then I was offered to pay $30.00 to have one sent to me, this was Wednesday the 19th. I was told I should receive the card Thursday or Friday. I received a card yesterday, tried to activate today and was told that it wasn't the right card. In other words, this was the card that was mailed, not the one which was supposed to be expedited. I asked them if this card could be activated instead and was told that they couldn't. So then I asked them how is it I pay to receive a card within two days and still hasn't gotten it.

    My issues are first of all, I would have thought that I would have had a hard time with getting my money back but that was the easy part. The hard part is getting card from Rushcard, no way to access my funds, the attitudes of some of the reps. How is it that I wasn't offered to have my card sent to me within a couple of days in the beginning. I am so upset, there is a lot more that I can say just too pissed to get it all out. I had heard of horror stories with the RushCard but a friend of mine has one and was saying she has never had issues. So I thought I would give it a try, and after looking at what I have had to deal with, I am not so interested anymore.

    Someone completed a transfer on my account $800 or more. I called them to request my balance the day after the transfer was attempted. They closed both of my accounts and stated they would send me a refund via mail. I have been waiting for that refund since January 16th, 2014. I had two accounts - received ma, refund on the Rushcard account in amount of $207.98. The second account for Baby phat card - no refund as of yet, which it has been over a month.

    I only live in Philadelphia, not Alaska. I need a refund of my $800. I have diabetes and they are holding up my buying my medication. Which could cause me to have a stroke. I am requesting them to send payment FedEx. I have called there numerous times for status, and am always assured refund has been sent. I don't understand what the hold-up is , they know that I did not request transfer - per the fraud department.

    I have never been talked to more dumb and rude by any other bank. I put my money here so when I call, I expect to be talked to with common courtesy. Half of the time you call, they all tell you different things. When you call back, they are even more rude. I only put half of my money here because it's spending money but I pay so much just to spend what li'l I have in it. I feel discriminated against from the way they talk to me. I think Russell Simmons should sit down and read these reviews. I'm sure he don't stand for this kind of disrespect on, do he?

    They have been holding my money for 3 days for no reason. They ask for documents, I sent them 3 different then they ask for more documents. I sent them, they ask for more documents, again I sent them. I worked hard for my US dollars so why are these people overseas holding it. I'm pissed off been for the days. ** overseas people handling US money is not cool. Russell Simmons I thought he was smarter than that.

    Yesterday, after fighting with customer service tooth and nail for hours not to mention the the long waiting in between calls my federal tax return came today to my Rushcard in pending status. PENDING STATUS? So I called them back once again which was another 2-hour wait to speak to a first level customer service rep. I was told to upload my state ID, SSN, and my 1040 tax statements. Who the hell do these people think they are. What type of debit company wants your 1040 tax for no reason? A fraud debit card company that's who.

    The IRS already verified who I am with the numbers and info all matching up to me. They released it, why can't you guys? What gives you the right to hold people money and constantly lie about when its gonna be released and what very important documents you need to verify who the hell I am? Even the DMV doesn't need that much info. Russell Simmons... (if he is the real owner) is none other than another corporate thug skimming pennies off the little people collectively making millions off us in fees!!!! I even went as far as calling JP Morgan bank and spoke to a rep who made them release my funds finally....

    Now I'm waiting once again after hours upon hours of calling to see if I can get my money via MoneyGram or Western Union. I was told yes through MoneyGram and it was....guess what?... What they always say 1 to 3 business days. Then I called back because something didn't settle with me right. Another rep said no not MoneyGram it has to be Western Union and it would take 1 to 3 hours... Okay I felt fine... felt like I was getting somewhere... 8 hours pass by... BRICK WALL!! STILL NO MONEY... NO CARD... NADA. And my money is just sitting there while bills pile up.... I will NOT RECOMMEND this card to a dog to chew on... I'm highly pissed off... especially with that classical music they play in between calls. It so does not fit their company because they are far from a "classy" service.

    I received my direct deposit last week without incident. Then the next day, I received my first tax return again without incident. Then as the week goes on and the money goes I go to take money out to pay for my metro card to get to work and I find out my card has been blocked. Needless to say just like EVERYONE else I was told they blocked my card because they thought there was some fraudulent activities on my card with money being put into my account!! Fraudulent!! I didn't realized the IRS was fraudulently putting money in my account or my job (which that has just deposited my check last week) was also putting fraudulently putting money in my account.

    The only thing that is fraud is the Rushcard. I've sent EVERYTHING that they asked for but of course they still found a reason to say it wasn't right or that they needed something else. Something is not right about this since about 2-300 people have made the same complaint about them. They are holding our money and don't plan on releasing it to us. Someone needs to stop them. I'm going to reach out to EVERY news station that will listen and I hope the rest of you do the same. I hope there is a lawyer out there that are reading all of our stories and see that there's something ill was going on. Best of wishes to everyone who is also having the same problems.
