RushCard is the best prepaid card I've ever had. I tried Wal-Mart prepaid, Green Dot prepaid, Brink's prepaid, PayPal and a couple more but neither has your funds available faster than rushcard.

I have had a RushCard for a while. At first things were going good. Then I started getting charges on my account that I wasn’t making so I complained numerous of times to dispute these charges and RushCard didn’t give a crap about that. They kept making false charges and taking my money. Do NOT GET A RUSHCARD. THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. Every time I tried to login to my account online it would tell me that my account has been locked and I called in about that and they would tell me its been removed but I’d try again and it would tell me the same thing. It’s a headache and don't set yourself up for it… That is all!

RushCard was referred a long time ago by a friend. It's an easy access that enables my family from out of town to deposit money into my account. I love the reload option but what I don't like is I am charged a fee when it goes inactive for a certain period of time.

I been with Rush Card for couple years now. I go to my side stores and get cash out with no fees, I get direct deposit every week on my paycheck, and get a good rewards like 1% cash back, thank you.

I have been a member of Rush for 15 years and they have never ceased to please. Any problems I've had have been quickly resolved. Problems with merchants even quicker. They even spotted and blocked fraudulent activity on my card even before I did. They had my card blocked and a new card on the way before I even knew there was a problem. I highly recommend Rush as a great financial service.

I was not pleased with the rep in the Dispute Dept that I spoke with at the beginning of our conversation because after speaking to me for about 10 mins she told me that my card was blocked and I wouldn't be able to get a new card for 7-10 business days. I felt that she should've told me that at the beginning of the call. When asked why she did that She told me that is the company's policy. I then asked if I could speak with a Supervisor or Manager. She then told me that there wasn't anyone available at that moment but she will make sure someone contact within 24-48 hours. Advised her that I needed my card so that I could get gas and other things but she stated there's nothing that she could do.
Finally, after being on the phone with her for about 30 mins, she told me that she would send me another card within 1 business day but it would cost me $30. Advised I didn't feel that I needed to pay that fee because I didn't ask for her to block my card and it wasn't explained to me that's what was going to happen. The rep finally stated that she would send the card within 1 business day and waive the $30 fee, but it was going to taken out of her paycheck. I received the card via Fed Express within 1 day.

I have had this card for 5 years plus at first it was easy to deal with, then it’s just started going downhill and fast. First off, their call center is the worst ever. No one speaks English and they are so rude. Second, since they changed banks, it has went worst than ever. I would not tell anyone to get this card ever.

Called to order a replacement card and the person there was rude and when I ask to speak to supervisor, they place me on hold. Then from time to time I hear them pushing buttons on the phone. This went on for over a hour before I hung up. I been a customer for several years.

Did a RushCard to RushCard transfer to my husband at the time sitting next to me! Error message. Transfer not processed. Funds returned. Still no fund returned and no money to husband. And money still just gone. Results cards on block, no money yet. Been four days and let me tell you these are by far the most rudest reps I've ever heard. Hang up in middle of calls. Can't explain where my money is but can say it's on their part! So nasty about a mistake on their part. Lesson learn. Get your money out. Keep up with it yourself. This is not a real bank. Real banks DO NOT OPERATE IN THIS MANNER. PISSED OFF LADY! I WORK HARD FOR MY MONEY.

With RushCard I get my pay earlier because my payroll check goes on my card through direct deposit. I get paid on Fridays, it’s my original payday, but sometimes I get my money on Wednesday nights, at 11 o'clock and you can't beat that. And it’s pretty convenient. When I go to the ATMs that Rushcard is partnered with, I don't have to pay a fee. And also when I load money into my card, it’s on there within 15 minutes and reload locations are near such as Walmart. Plus good experience interacting with their team.

The only thing I've really done lately has been to call back in and request a copy of a bank statement and you all it took me who calls to get it to me. It was kind of a slow process that I've actually got it but the customer service agent the second time I called was very apologetic and very customer service friendly and just made sure and there was nothing else that could be handled or do. I need it handled at that time. I had been with RushCard since-2010 and there's other cards that I could have gone to but I choose to keep going to RushCard because I really like the service and I really like the perks. Besides people really like my pink baby Phat card design and I love it myself and I don't want it to go away!

I am only allowed to withdraw small amounts (200) dollars within a 24 hour day. This is very inconvenient to me. I have bills as big as 1,250.00 a month.

I chose RushCard because of the early deposit, which means I didn't have to wait. I've been a holder for two years now. I don't have to worry about the overdraft fees and I can use it anywhere. It's very convenient - no problems at all. I was not working for a while and when I came back to RushCard they were very helpful to get me another card and I was able to pick if I wanted a different color and all that good stuff, and it came right away. Everything was on time. So whenever I call customer service, it's always a pleasant experience.

My load date change when y'all switch banks. I get paid every 2 weeks on a Tuesday. I was getting my money on a Friday. Now I get it on a Monday a day before my real pay day. Well my last pay check I got it on a Friday but I never know with y'all if it's going to come this Friday coming, I hope, because I really do love each card. Had your card for years. I hope I can keep it.

I have yet to have a real issue with this card system. Reloading is easy when the places have working systems and the access to my money is simple. Totally recommend it to friends and people who want an internet spending card outside of their bank account. I feel safe spending my money when I need it.

Up unto this time I have been satisfied with RushCard. Recently you changed banks which affected my direct deposit. It was hard this time because of the difficult time the State was having issues. I needed something that was more convenient at the time. All my friends had RushCard so I got one and had them for years. I have set myself up with Bill Pay online, so that's how I pay all of my bills. I like how it doesn't have to be the actual day and that I can tell them when to take the money. It takes a little bit of the pain out of getting paid and I love that. Their reps are also great. Anytime I've ever called and asked about a purchase, they've always given me the answer. The only problem with Rushcard is not being able to find available ATM that won't take so much money just to get money.

I would recommend the card because it does give you the chance to have a debit card and get direct deposit up to two days ahead, but the amount you can use your money daily needs to be up even if you have to do different transactions.

I feel the whole situation was handled quickly once I was able to get a hold of a customer service rep. That is an issue however; your hold times are extremely long. The customer service however does make up for it. I paid 30.00 to have My card sent via FedEx two day delivery. It took five days to receive the card from FedEx. That however was their fault and not yours. I tracked the shipping and they had it in one day but held on to it for another four days. I am out the 30.00 bucks but like I said it was not on your end. Thank you for your service. I feel like a valued customer!

I like my RushCard -- I use it to purchase items online which is very convenient. I had to call in one time due to a problem with my account. The first person didn’t know what they were talking about but it was made right by the next person I spoke with. He was better at explaining what was going on. I have no problem with it other than the fee; I don’t like having to pay a dollar every time I swipe my card.

Love my card, love the service. Only thing that bothers me is no Windows phone app. Have been commenting about this for 3yrs. Also, the maximum withdrawal amount of 500.00 dollars. I can't get my rent out in one day. Very inconvenient. Used to be a lot higher. Thanks though. I love my RushCard and had it for a couple of years now. I get my pay faster. Anything they deposit go right on my deposit. When they do fees or sometimes I check my card and if I get ain't nothing on there and I'd need some money, RushCard have put it back on there. I also use it to make online purchases, do direct deposit and reloads. It's a good experience with RushCard and I wouldn't give it up no time soon.

I had this card linked to my amazon account to transfer money when I made sales. It was working fine, then I had deposit some money and I lost my card. There was unauthorised purchases done. I called RushCard right away and disputed the purchases. There was three, only one got taken seriously. The other two were never disputed. They said that the purchases were accurate. I even wrote letters to the corporate offices and they deny my plea. I showed how the billing address didn't match my billing address even the shipping address were not mine or received by me. There was no proof whatsoever. They went ahead and didn't help me to get my money back. But on top of all that they closed my account no reason either. I'm upset my money was not secure. Billing address did not match. I hate this card. I will not recommend it. I will make sure to put my story in every forum and every consumer outreach. Bye bye rush card.

Ok so I've had my RushCard for almost 10 years now and all of a sudden I have a dispute open with them and I get no response as to what is going on. ALSO I've been calling customer service and emailing them for the past two weeks also with no response. My money is in my account and I am TERRIFIED to wake up one day and it all be gone. I just switched my direct deposit at work to this account and now that I can't get in touch with anyone from the company or a live person. It really scares me to leave my funds there. Someone seriously how do you run a huge company not responding to people's inquiries on their money? They also put huge withdrawal limits on my money last week for no reason causing me HUGE inconveniences and extra atm fees. It's really not acceptable.
I've had my card LITERALLY for years. Like it's convenient. Yeah the fees aren't that bad and I get my paychecks early but I'd rather wait a day to get paid and talk to a live person as to what is going on than continue to keep an account with a bank who I can't trust or get in touch with. No one has responded to my inquiries and I'm heated.

I've been with Rushcard for almost five years. It started off all well and fine. I've been able to pay bills and purchase online. The direct deposit option works for me. However lately I've been having a problem with them. I don't like the hold time or the customer service. They don't explain anything to you what they need to do. They go ahead and do it. My bad experience came from them blocking my card and then I had to wait seven days to get a new card. Then they wanted me to pay $30 to express my card, which I don't think that I should have to pay that since they did not explain to me or tell me that they were gonna block my card before telling me that. I've been able to pay bills and purchase online. It's fine doing that. The direct deposit option works for me.

There weren't a lot of prepaid debit cards around so I went with Rushcard. With them, I am able to manage my finances better. I can only spend what I have and that's very helpful, that's a good thing. I am also able to experience early direct deposits of my pay and pay my bills through the website which is convenient for me. The only problem I had with them is when I had to prove that a payment was made but overall, I would recommend them.

RushCard doesn't have a whole lot of fees attached with it. I've been a cardholder for three years now. Since using the card, I don't have to use my major card, if I don't want to. I can just monitor my money and put it on what I want, and not have to use my other card. I've also used RushCard to pay bills or make online purchases. I also utilize the reload locations. One thing I don't like about it is that I would rather have the one fee than to pay a fee each time I reload. Because sometimes I reload it often and I'm losing money like that. But overall, RushCard is a very convenient asset to have to monitor your money.

I heard about RushCard from a co-worker. She told me about the roll-overs with the ATM that's why I made the choice to switch and I have been a RushCard holder for 5-6 years. I've been able to manage my finances really good because I'm able to look at my balance on my phone with the app and that's convenient. I also use my RushCard to pay bills and make online purchases all the time. I used it for direct deposit, too. Their reps were very helpful. There was a time that I was confused in regards to my balance and customer service really broke it down to me very clearly. My experience with them is excellent.

I was excited to become a RushCard member, initially. But the fees per use (when I signed up, may have changed now) was ridiculous! Left RushCard due to poor customer service and fees. So after trying other prepaid services, I am completely happy with Amex Serve.

I sign up for the card, set up direct deposit. One month goes by, I get my first check via direct deposit, then my account gets blocked! I am still trying to figure out why my account didn't get blocked until the day that I get my money. I jump through the hoops and provide the required documents then I wait, and I wait, and I wait - I receive no correspondence about the status of my account. So I call and deal with terrible hold times.
I have been hung up on multiple times, after waiting on hold for 10+ minutes, then have to call back and hold again. I keep receiving inconsistent information from each person that I speak to. I do not know what is true, what is false, what I need to do. Most of the people that I speak to don't speak English well enough to handle my issue and they keep giving me misinformation. I finally called the corporate office and spoke to someone who sounded like they know what they are talking about. As soon as this block is cleared, I am getting my money and closing my account and I will tell EVERYONE of the BS that RushCard has put me through.

I've never had any problems with RushCard. If there was something that I needed to get done on my account, I can always call and get it straightened out. As a matter of fact, I got saved the other day by Rushcard. Apparently, someone had tried to get into my account and my card was automatically blocked because it sent up a red flag so when I went to use my card, they’re telling me my card is denied. I know I got money in the bank so when I called, they told me what had happened. And I just sit on the side of the bed and just cried. They could have wiped me completely out had it not been for Rushcard being up on the game. So now, there’s no way I would change.

My friend recommended RushCard and I thought it was pretty good and their experience was okay, so I went with that. However, I'm upset with RushCard because of the simple fact that they're saying I owe the company. You're not supposed to spend money that you don't have, and I want to know how money got taken off the card that I didn't have on there. It was easy, accessible and thought It was gonna be uncomplicated but it ended up being more problems.

A friend of mine referred me to RushCard three years ago. I'm 100% satisfied. Whatever I needed, I got it with them. I've been able to use my card to pay bills and make online purchases. OMG!!! This is the worst company I have dealt with in a LONG TIME. I ordered a Rush Pre Paid Visa Card for my 16 yr old son. I wanted to introduce him to budgeting, spending and reconciling his money on a monthly basis. I thought the RUSHCARD looked the best with the online description I was presented with. Once I received the cad and started the "activation process" the PROBLEMS BEGAN.
I could not activate the card despite what my online account told me. I could not transfer money from Paypal to the card, despite what the automated phone system told me. I was transferred multiple to the "automated online activation account." This branch of the company hung up on me several times and could not recognize the SS number I was inputting, despite my online registration confirmation. It was finally suggested that I contact Paypal to transfer funds to the non-active card. Paypal states that they have never heard of the RUSHCARD by VISA and that it may be FRAUDULENT. I called RushCard to tell them this.
They continually had someone reading from a computer screen. This time the robot on the other end of the line almost sounded real. Two hours later, I have decided to give up on the RUSHCARD and go back to the standard VISA. I would suggest not to use this card or sign up for it. They continually asked for my SS Number. I can't wait to see my money disappear out of my account. I don't know that the robots in another country will do with it though.

I haven't had any problems with my RushCard that I've been using close to ten years. It's convenient. I mainly use it in my PayPal account to order stuff online and for anything off line as well. I also often use direct deposit which is pretty easy.

I was looking online through an advertisement and RushCard popped up on the ad, I read about it and then decided to try it. I have been a RushCard holder since 2011. It keeps me on point where I'm able to schedule the date when it hits because the direct deposit hits before that time. It helps me to keep everything and also I'm able to go online and view my transactions right away, I don't have to wait on that. I also use my RushCard to pay bills and make online purchases and it is very convenient. My experience with RushCard has been good. I have no complaints, it's no problem. I like the card, it's a great card.
The only thing I don't like about it is when you have disputes, it takes so long for them to refund your money back when an issue has happened. For the majority of the other cardholders, the turnaround time is like 24-48 hours. With RushCard, it can take up to 13 days, sometimes even longer. I don't know anybody else's experience but if those are the funds you only have for an emergency, then something got misused through an error.

Not only is RushCard secure and reliable, the Customer Service is AMAZING. I rarely have to call in, however, any time that I do the reps are knowledgeable and courteous. The convenience that I get with card allows for me to continue my life at my speed.

I chose RushCard during the time that Russell Simmons was in charge and I figured if he's doing this, it'll be something good. It's convenient for me to pay my bills and make my purchase online using it however I had one incident where my money was taken out of my account which gave me a negative balance.

I like RushCard a lot and would like it better if you don't start out with an automated computer. That's where I get upset. Is it so hard to get a person to answer the phone? Do you really not want to hire an operator that can immediately help with a problem a customer is having? Another problem I'm having is when I do get an operator they hardly speak English. Wtf??!! Using my RushCard for my direct deposit gets me access to my funds days ahead of time. I love the security of my account. No one can debit my account for a monthly unauthorized payment. I never worry about overdraft fees.. They have managed my money for several years and I have never had a problem.

The greatest thing I found while working a full time job, and having no checking account. I was horrified by the currency exchange fees when cashing a middle class check. RushCard came to my rescue and pays me 2-3 days early. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS COMPANY!!!

While I enjoy the fact that my money is deposited "A day early," this statement is invalid if there's a need or a bill that needs to be paid before midnight on Wednesday. The fact that the funds now get transferred in around 11:30p on a Wednesday night technically it's not two day early.. only one. It used to be in around 5p and that made for a useful day of fund availability. This new system is a mess and doesn't sit well with someone that relied on the two day early gimmick to get some bills paid before Friday. The customer service team is THE WORST! You need people that know how to take care of customers and service their needs. Not individuals whom don't know how to deal with basic challenges or speak to customer clearly.

I lost my card and I called to get a new one. The representative I spoke with was extremely nice and handled my call very professionally. My only complaint is why does it take 7-10 business days before you receive a new card? This has been such an inconvenience, all my money was on the card and I really needed it at least in 5 business days. I am aware if I had been willing to pay 30 dollars I could have received it sooner but I think that's a bit much... I'm hoping something can be changed in the timeliness of receiving replacement cards.

A merchant debited my savings account for $49.95 and when I checked my acct the money was pending and the operator that I spoke with reversed the charge and placed it back into my account only to have the same amount removed from my account again by the same merchant. When I phoned RushCard service to find out the problem, the person that I spoke to was giving me a hard time about the transaction.

I would recommend the prepaid RushCard to anyone that has had problems with banks. For you see, they will not let you spend anything over what you have on your card and the people are very nice to you on the phone when you call to check on your money. The fees are fair. But I give you guys an A+++.

I'm already not happy. I loaded $1000 yesterday and today I have $996. I was told I would also get credit the reload fee. Of course I paid 2 reload fees yesterday. I don't like all these charges. Guess I won't be using it after today. I have to reload another $500 today. I needed $1500 on the card, but that's not happening. Not sure why it's less than I loaded. Can you help? Appreciate you.

RushCard is without a doubt the Best card there is, BY FAR. I have had (in the past) 3 other cards, not my fault, I didn't know any better. Anyone that doesn't have "RushCard" you have the wrong card. Their customer service is by far the best, the early direct deposit is so WONDERFUL, & if you choose to get the upgrade, there are no a-t-m fees at certain ATMs. IN short YOU SHOULD HAVE RUSHCARD, IF you want a card with no hassle, no gimmicks, & no B.S.

Never had any issues with my money on this card and been a member since 2011. Direct deposit is always there and when major department stores were getting their customers' card information hacked RushCard immediately sent out emails letting me know that my information with RushCard was safe and secure. The app is easy to use and the text message feature is the fastest way to get balance information and is always accurate. Thank You RushCard for helping me get my money on track!!!

I was waiting over an hr to get a person. I'm shocked and my paycheck deposit was very late. Usually I get it on Thursday but I've been getting it Friday mornings and last week 6/26 it was closer to the afternoon. I didn't know what was going on and I was really upset about the wait on the customer service line. Any other visit is a more pleasant experience so I gave 3 ***.

My card was lost today 6/27/2015 while I was at the movies. I just happened to leave it with the server and didn't realize it until several hours later because I didn't need it. So I went back and they said one has retrieved or found it so I immediately tried to contact customer service to put a hold on the account to prevent further use... I called over 10 times to no avail, the phone just rang and finally the call ended on its own. Now I can log into my account through my smartphone and I was watching how the card was being used without my permission literally. I kept trying to call NOTHING. Now in the morning, I'm going to call again and demand an answer as to why after the hours of 11:00 pm, there was no success in reaching customer service which could have prevented unauthorized transactions. And the only I gave it 5 Stars is because I noticed that who's ever monitoring the Rushcard Customer Review on this site only responds to positive feedback.

I don't like that I have to go thru all this bs to get a new card. I fax all my information over to them twice because they have so many people that work for them who don't understand or speak English. Do I have to go out my way and send over this information again. I been with them for 6 years or more. Very disappointed with the way they treat me after all these years. Last evening, I visited my local Walmart with the agenda to make a withdrawal from the MetaBank ATM or whatever it's called now, just a ATM that doesn't charge a transaction fee. I attempted to withdraw $300.00. Well, the ATM froze during my transaction and I notified a Walmart employee, as I was concerned that if I went to another Walmart's ATM, it would say I withdrew $300.00. The ATM jammed. When she reset it, the monitor's message said I was due $140.00! I told the Walmart employee I attempted a $300.00 withdrawal. Also, the ATM's toner was out and no printed receipt for proof of withdrawal or balance was available. Of course, there was nothing she could do. I took the $140.00.
I called RushCard and was on hold for over 10 minutes. Yes, my balance was $300.00 less than it should be. I had no proof to account for the $140.00. My card was deemed invalid when I tried to find my statement online. Tried calling 3 more times and each time was on hold too long. The next morning, I called RushCard customer service, and the helpful clerk confirmed the $140.00 and the $300 was pending investigation. In 24 hours I should see the correct balance with only $140.00 withdrawn. If I needed that money right away I would be so livid. Let's see how things turn out in 23 hours.

I've had my RushCard for so long and what I like about it is that I get paid two days earlier and that I can see what I'm paying through the app. When you're out of money, you're out of money. One time, my PayPal account got hacked and got $70 off my RushCard. They froze my card and I couldn't use it until I got a new card, which sucked but it wasn't bad. I would recommend them to a friend.
