    I had my check direct deposited in my account this week. Usually I get my money Thursday night (yesterday) but my account says 0.00. Also I saw that there were double transactions and I would love to clear this all up but every time I call, and I've called every 10 min since 7 am today, I cannot get anyone. It just hangs up on me. My whole check goes on the card and now I cannot access the app and still can't reach anyone. How do I get my money??

    Due to some type of system updates my account is totally messed up. 1st they had my balance at 400.00 which I know I didn't have. The next day they have double charges that have already cleared now my balance is zero. This suck I have to feed my kids.

    Not sure how anyone could give a positive review especially right now. Nothing but problems since they changed from Chase to MetaBank. The system quote upgrade that has went on for 5 days now and is still not corrected. Money not in accounts and money disappearing from accounts, cannot get a customer service rep on the phone. NO WAY I WILL CONTINUE.

    I have used RushCard for about 2-3 years now and I haven't had any issues until now... I have been calling customer service for 3 days, no answer. I have sent emails, no answer... I'm getting very frustrated. My balance is showing 0.00. I have no money. This is horrible customer service...

    After all the trouble with my RushCard lately yesterday my direct deposit finally went through. With the way things have been going I checked my balance this morning when I woke up and it now says $0. I checked my last 5 transactions and it had my deposit on there with no withdrawals but it said I have a zero balance. Since I keep having to call back because I keep getting hung up on by customer service it's now saying my card isn't activated. WTH. I work hard for my money and have a family of 7 with 5 kids to feed. I feel so helpless because I can't even get a hold of one single person from RushCard. They should be ashamed of their self - messing with people's lives like this.

    I am now waiting over 24 hours for my direct deposit to load on my account with nothing but a recorded message and an IG message I happened to come across indicating there is an issue due to a computer glitch. I have sent an e-mail, to which I received an acknowledgment of receipt, but no response. There are two customer service numbers - one in which there is a recording about the computer issue with an apology, but no way to speak with a customer service representative. I waited yesterday twice on hold for 30 and 40 minutes, with no response. I am now on hold for 10 minutes thus far listening to music. I require access to my funds to pay bills and live. This situation is being handled very poorly, especially since it is not the first "glitch" and I've been a cardholder since 2010. The decency of a return e-mail/call would be appreciated.

    I truly love my RushCard. Been with them for 5 years now. Never had a problem or issue with RushCard. I truly understand the system upgrade, nothing is perfect in this world. Stuff happens and I know people it involve money but please give Russell Simmons a break. Please he's a good man.

    I've been a customer since 2009 and I've just had the WORSE issue ever. There was an update that was to take place over a 4 hr period and it's been a week and still the same old lies. I have medicine to pick up and I can't. I have chemo sessions and I can't get them because I have no funds. SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS!!!!! People have not been able to buy food, gas or pay bills. I myself can't get the meds I get.

    I've been with RushCard for almost 15 years. Never a problem with my money that was not fixed asap. The new change in October cause my money to disappear. I know they are working hard to fix this. My son is disabled and get his direct deposit on RushCard.

    The only benefit I've experienced from using their card is that there's no overdraft fee. Moreover, it's very convenient to pay bills and make purchases online using Rushcard. It's easy to utilize their direct deposit option as well. When I left my card and I had to get another one, their team were courteous and friendly. Overall, it's been a great experience.

    I called October 9th at 4 p.m. to order a replacement card express. It costs $30 via FedEx for a 2-business day express delivery. The customer service representatives could not provide a tracking number even though 2 of 3 representatives claim they could see that it was sent on October 13th. One representative could not verify that it was sent at all. I called FedEx several times to find out if a package was scheduled for delivery to my home. There was no package. FedEx says that all items are assigned a tracking number. I have yet to receive my RushCard as of 10/15/15, 11 p.m. No one has offered to refund my $30. I am afraid of the cost for late bill payment. Once this is over, I am going to deposit my funds in a Union account. The End.

    I am very disappointed in this company. I have had my card for several years and have had a few issues in the past but nothing like the experience I had this past week. After a horrible divorce and an ex-husband that totally ruined me I have been trying very hard to rebuild everything but still pretty much live paycheck to paycheck. I know to someone like Russell Simmons, who has more money than 100,000 people see in a lifetime put together, my measly $50,000 a year is nothing but it is all I have and I work very hard for it.

    I have been using Rushcard as a bank account and I have my paycheck direct deposited so when I get paid I expect to be able to use my card. This has been a nightmare, not only do I not have access to my current funds but I can't access my paycheck either. I hate cutting it close when paying my bills but I hate it even more when I have to be late especially when it is someone else's fault. Where I live if you are late they shut off your utilities and repossess your vehicle so what am I supposed to live in the dark and walk 45 miles to work because I trusted Rushcard?? I have notified my employer and canceled my direct deposit and I have also opened a new account with someone else so this won't happen again.

    This has cost me a lot and my stress level is through the roof but I think the worst part is that they don't even care. Russell Simmons can say what he wants to but I can bet he has never called his own customer service. Not only do you get someone overseas every time you call (if you actually get a person) but they never know what's going on. This past week with all these problems if you try to call not only do you not get answers, they don't even try anymore. They just disconnect the call. If anyone is interested I found Ace Elite Visa, $5 monthly fee. Rewards for using your card - part of your purchases go toward breast cancer research and you can actually speak to someone in the United States.

    I been with RushCard for 6 yrs now and ever since Mon. Oct 12th with y'all "system update", I've gotten my deposit 3 days late. Can't use my card and showing a zero balance. I'm fed up, never had a problem with y'all. Now customer service people are rude and hang up on me. I'm a look into getting a lawyer to fix this once and for all. This is BS, I can't even transfer money. What is wrong with y'all? I need you all to call me and resolve this crap, at least an email. I got bills to pay, us the users of RushCard need answers and we need them now.

    My husband and I both have been with RushCard for years. Before this "system update" I loved them. However, now I will NEVER go back to them. No one answers the phone, the apps are inaccurate and you can't access your money. The icing on the cake is that they is still no solution to the problem!!! Never again RushCard...

    My payment was posted 10/10/15 and today is 10/15/2015 but I'm unable to get my money! They say they're doing "system repairing", your "repairing" shouldn't keep me away from my funds and leave me worried on how to pay bills!! Avoid. Stay away. Just get a normal bank. It's not worth it.

    After going to local stores where I can refill my card I was inform that it was something wrong with the system! After staying on hold for an hour with RushCard customer service I got a rep that act like they didn't know what, when or anything! Worst customer service ever and I still don't know when I will be able to refill my card.

    On Sunday 10/11/2015 an Email and text messages were going out regarding the security updates. I have received my direct deposit, however my card is showing as inactive on 10/14/2015 at 6 pm pacific time. I spoke to a representative and was informed that the card status would be changed to active before 11 pm Est time. 10/15/2015 the card still shows as inactive. Spoke with gentleman around 10:02 am, stated he is sorry for the inconvenience and that the card should show as active momentarily. As of 11:48 card shows as inactive. I understand the glitch however the customer service and broken promises are enough. 5 days without YOUR own money is not acceptable. Hearing the same message repeated is not acceptable. I will be changing over my banking needs after this.

    It's been three years now since I've had Rushcard and heard of them thru word of mouth of a friend. Since I've started, I can take care of my business on the go and I like that access. I can call whenever I need to and talk to a representative ASAP which is pretty good. Handling my business by having it in my pocket is one benefit of Rushcard and it's a plus since it helps me out a lot. Moreover, the two-day advance before the Friday helps me a lot too. I can have a few more extra bills quicker than expected and I like that feature. I use my direct deposit option more frequently and it's been very easy, works smoothly and on time. Overall, Rushcard is fantastic and I'm referring a friend to them.

    The week of Monday October 5, 2015 I was notified that RushCard (UniRush) would be updating their system on Monday October 12, 2015 from 3 am until 8 am. On Monday October 12, 2015 at around 9 am I saw a posting on Facebook that said the update was taking a little longer than expected and that it should be complete by 12 pm that same day. I previously had a balance of $49 on my card. Around 1 pm I tried to make an online transaction in the amount of $6.98 and it was declined. At that point I realized my funds were not accessible. I attempted to call RushCard (UniRush) several times and sent emails between 10-12-15 and 10-15-15 but received no response. There was no communication sent out to neither myself nor my husband who is also a cardholder. He typically receives his Direct Deposit paycheck bi-weekly on Wednesday morning by 1 pm. I typically receive my Direct Deposit paycheck weekly on Thursday by 11:00 am.

    We were both scheduled to be paid during week ending 10-16-15. As of 10-15-15 at 12 pm, neither of us have received our paychecks. Our 3 life insurance policy payments (including our young daughter's) which are set up to be automatically withdrawn on the 13th and 14th of every month have been terminated. Our rent is due on the 15th of every month and we do not have access to our paychecks to pay this month's rent on time. RushCard (UniRush) promises access to paychecks up to 2 days earlier and they are well aware that this is the primary reason most of their customers utilize their services. It is completely unacceptable to have such a system failure and not even communicate with their customers effectively.

    All of these "great" reviews are fake. Please go to RushCard's Facebook page to see the truth. Accounts have been frozen and money is missing for 4 days now. Customer service continuously says the issues are fixed and everyone can access their money, but that simply is not true. There are thousands still missing money or locked out of accounts. If I could rate this lower than one star, I would.

    I was informed by RushCard about updates that were to take place on Oct 12th, 2015, from 3 am till 8 am EST. I was instructed to withdraw money before that time or wait until the updates were done. It is now October 15th and I have missed 2 days of work, not sure if I will have a job by the time this is done. 2 bills are racking up late fees, my cell phone is now off and worst of it all, I still don't have my direct deposit nor the money that was in the account prior to this update. My share of the mortgage is due, childcare is due and all I have from Rush is an apology. My life is on the verge of changing dramatically because of this update. Soon as I get my money, I will RUSH this card (NEXT DAY AIR), back to sender! You owe us Russell!

    For several days I have had no access to my funds. I understand there was a glitch in the system and it screwed several customers’ accounts. However, after being patient for three days, attempting to call customer service is a no go, they will not answer. They placed me directly to a recording that says call back, I have tried emailing reps per their website, no answer. I am now a week into no access to funds. Now, I have no access to my money, and no way of contacting RushCard for any assistance or information about my account. This is one of the most inconvenient and troublesome encounters I have ever had with any financial institution. I have money with a company that has frozen my funds, and doesn’t answer their customer service line or email requests. I am beyond frustrated. I am stressed beyond belief and I have no idea when I will see the light. AVOID RushCard.

    This will be the second pay in a row I have not received when I was supposed to. And now you can't even get through to customer service to find out what's going on with your hard earned money. Why won't anyone give us an answer about what is happening and where my money is. This is the worst experience with a company I have ever experienced. I saw on the news that because of this system problem, people have been waiting days for their money and still don't have it.     Please whatever you do... DO NOT GET THIS CARD. THE SYSTEM HAS BEEN DOWN FOR 4 days. The news media has been contacted. People can't get their money off direct deposit - aren't showing up.     I received no text message or email notifying me that RushCard was making a transition over to a new system which could cause a delay with my direct deposit. I'm now concerned since my rent and car insurance payments are being delayed due to my money has not deposited. I've tried to call and speak with a representative but the system will not allow anyone to get in touch with an agent. VERY POOR SERVICE! I am not considering moving my money to another card and cancelling my Rush account.

    RushCard is doing maintenance and the system has been down almost a week now. You can't get through to the 800 number or customer service, they do not respond to your emails, and they haven't loaded my paycheck. I've used this card for over 2 years. I work for a bank myself, and this is unacceptable. I have a child with special needs and I need my money available for care for her. With no one to resolve the issue, they are jeopardizing the health and safety of my child. I will be closing my account as soon as I can retrieve my paycheck, and I will be contacting the BBB and attorney general. There are also banking regulations that they are in violation of, and I will be reporting them as well.

    I been with RushCard for a few years now and I am very disappointed with what is going on when they updated their system. I can no longer use my card to make purchases nor get money off of my card. I tried calling the customer service number and then I get disconnected on their end and the phone hangs up. I can't get a LIVE person to speak to. I would be a little at ease if I could speak to a HUMAN and know what is really going on. I am no longer dealing with Rushcard and for my family and friends that were dealing with them I notified them as to what happen to me and they tried to log into their accounts to only be told their password is invalid.

    So now RushCard has lost customers due to this upgrade. I email or text about the issue and not being able to speak to someone on what is really going on with logging into accounts would be appreciated but instead I feel like I am being robbed of my money and didn't know about it. They put me in a really bad situation. The message I did get the week prior just stated that the system would be down on Monday and be back up and running on Tuesday and here it is Thursday and I still can't get to my money. I need gas, food, things to get for my kids and etc.

    First off let me start by saying I'm pregnant and haven't ate since yesterday morning because I expected my direct deposit from my employer to be on my card at 1:30 pm yesterday 10/14/15 on Wednesday like it usually is every Wednesday. I also got put out the room I was staying in because I couldn't pay them on time like how I do every week. It took hours for me to get in contact with RushCard and when I finally did get put on hold I had to wait another hour for someone to answer the phone... So I'm giving this lady my information and everything and telling her I'm pregnant and need to eat, she looks up my direct deposit and says she doesn't see it and that my employer must have not sent it when we both know that was not the case at all. So she tells my last direct deposit info and say they have nothing and to call back and I'm like no...

    So I can sit on the phone for hours or not be able to get through at all. So I asked to speak to manager and she had me on hold another hour then it was her again that answered, said her manager couldn't get to the phone by that time. I already looked up my pay stub online and gave her the trace number and told her how much my job direct deposit on my card which would be the amount that should be on my card now and she still couldn't find it. I asked her, "Ok, so what did my money just vanish or did someone steal it, like let me know something because my employer sent my paycheck to RushCard already." and she like, "Give it an hour or two and call back because it could be the fact that their system is updating." but I said, "Whatever."

    I knew I wasn't going to be able to get in contact with another customer service representative when got off the phone several hours ago. I want to know where is my money, why didn't it show up on my direct deposit, and why is RushCard giving everyone the run around. It's something shady going on because my money should've popped up when this lady looked it up. Once again I'm pregnant and starving and need to lay my head down somewhere and RushCard might have stolen my money since they can't find it and money doesn't just disappear on its own.

    A coworker told me about Rushcard and you get paid two days early using its debit card so I went ahead and got one. However, they don't sometimes do the two days early as advertised, so we have to call in but lately they've been on time. Also, I have been able to manage my finances better. I got another card to put my social security check on, but I'm still afraid of doing it because I don't want the delay. Once in a while, I put a hundred on it, so I am figuring out how to do that comfortably without having any delay in my payments. Moreover, paying bills and purchasing online using RushCard is very convenient. But I'm not happy that I get charged for putting my money on the card. But other than that, their team has been great and I've recommended Rushcard to other people. Overall, I like Rushcard because if I didn't, I would pull my money out and not use it.

    I recently applied for and received a RushCard and this has been by far my worst experience ever with a prepaid card. I have been trying to contact someone for the last 24hours only to receive a computer generated message back via email stating someone would contact me. My deposit posted a day and a half late and after one transaction all of my funds had been removed and showing a zero balance. This is very disturbing and even more so because I can't speak with anyone to see what's going on or to get any resolution. But you advertise 24/7 support.

    I'm a hardworking single parent which I have four children to provide for. I've been a customer of RushCard for almost four years and however, every month the services get worst and worst. The latest incident is that RushCard decides to upgrade their software and loses all of the direct deposit that were sent to them from everyone's employer. Never once apologize for the inconvenience, instead they've stated there's no further information that they can provide because they're unable to access the system or locate any deposits.

    I demand to speak with a supervisor and they said that the supervisor has no knowledge of how to access the system and it's unavailable to them. I also demand to speak with someone whom has the knowledge of what's going on with my funds. The customer service representative told me there's isn't anything else they can provide me with any further information because they're unable to access their system. I tried to stress to them that I'm single parent and I have family to provide for and you fail to give me the option of changing my direct deposit, knowing your system were going to malfunction. He then hung up on me and everyone I try to call back to speak to representative, they keep hanging up on me. I've contacted them 78 times just today.

    I'm trying to call because RushCard took 40 dollars from my account and they won't answer the damn phone because it keeps saying the they experiencing higher call volume. Somebody better tell me something... because right now I'm pissed to the ** max. I don't play about my money... got me lookin' crazy trying to add up my receipts.     NO money on card for 3 days!!! Unable to access funds, no matter what ATM I try to use. My daughter work 2 jobs and she is unable to receive her direct deposit and her previous money from her debit card. Hundreds of thousands of people are affected by this.     I am paid on Tuesday. It is now Wed and I still don't have my paycheck. I call customer service am told my account don't exist. I then try and speak to someone and it tells me high call volume. This is not okay. I rely on my paycheck as I live paycheck to paycheck and now have no clue what's going on. I am extremely upset and not sure what to do.

    My card along with thousands of others are unable to get into our account after countless calling and staying on the phone for hours just to have the phone hang up on you. My balance shows $0 which I know I have plenty of funds. In addition it won't allow me to access on the app or the website because it's blocked. I want my money so I can close this fraudulent card!!!     Experience was better with the old style card information and direct deposit. I had my direct deposit in a timely manner and now there is a wait on my money and I can't pay my bills on time so now my I will be late on bills and might have some of my things repoed. Who is going to pay for the charges on my items that might get repoed? If they are repoed this is a very bad experience and if I don't have access to my money by tomorrow then my accounts will be shut off Monday and I will find a better bank that I can access my money anytime I want and don't have to worry about the funds being available or in other words waiting for someone to fix the mistake they made.

    RushCard did an update to their system a few days ago. As a result of that update, hundreds of customers, myself included, are now unable to access our Direct Deposits for the 10/15 pay period. My rent is now late, which means I have to pay late fees. My job sent an email to their payroll company to hopefully be able to reverse this last Direct Deposit so that my job can then just cut me a check.

    Here is the email we received from RushCard. "We know many of you are still trying to access your accounts and are suffering. We want you to know that we are attempting to keep you updated as we fix these issues arising from our technology transition. First, we assure you that every penny of your money is safe. Second, we know what the issues are and are working to resolve them as fast as humanly possible with our new partner. Lastly, we will not go to bed until every customer's issues are fixed."

    This "upgrade" is terrible!!! I have been without my money for 3 days. I've called customer service every day since and I've been told every time that the upgrade should be done and all accounts should be corrected by the end of the day. It's been 3 days and no change!!! I've been hung up on 2 times and everytime time I call, my wait time is AT LEAST 45 mins. I am done!!! As soon as I have access to my money, I'm out! I use to have a RushCard years ago and just recently decided to go back. Worst decision I ever made. I've only had my new account for a month and I'm already over it! The early deposits are just not worth the poor service or the hassle. Do yourselves a favor and try another company or bank.

    I have been a RushCard member for ten years. They have updated their system several times. Over past year their service has been bad. Now we cannot access our money either by phone or internet. They won't answer phone, only automated service that deducts money from your account with each call. On internet it asked you to change your password but never changes it or give you access! This has been 4 days now. I spoke with an agent 3 days ago and he said we can use our cards. I swiped it and no it didn't work. I've tried every day with no results! This is very poor service.

As I enter my social security number, it is not allowing me to set up a new PIN, stating the entry is invalid. I need my money now, I have a 7 month old baby and I will file a civil lawsuit.     RushCard was scheduled to have all updates complete Monday (10/12). Yet as of today we are unable to use our cards still, access our money, direct deposit will not post, plus their number all seem to be busy, no answer or hang up on you. Help!!     I've been a RushCard member for over 3 years and my experience with them has been wonderful up until now. They spoiled me and always made my funds from my direct deposit available 1 or 2 days early. But this time around, it's not even available on my actual pay date. My transaction history is all screwed up and I can't get a hold of anyone. I've called 4 times this morning. The first time I was on hold for 41 minutes before I had to hang up. The second time 17 minutes and the last two times I heard music for a brief moment and then someone hung up on me. I've sent contact emails and getting no response. This is really unacceptable when dealing with people's money, their lives. I really loved RushCard but now all I want is to cancel and never deal with them again.

    My Visa account & direct deposit with RushCard has been down for 2 days now. I need access to my account to pay bills and eat. It is impossible to get in contact with RushCard through phone, internet, and ATM. MetaBank stated the system crashed on 10/13/15. I don't care.     RushCard did an update on Monday 10/12/15 and ever since then my card has been messed up and I cannot use it. We were told in a text to make sure that you withdrew funds because they were doing an update Monday 10/12 so that is what I did. My direct deposit goes in every Tue night around 11 pm without fail, never been late. Now it is Wed 10/12 10:15 am and still no direct deposit and cannot use my card. I have been calling every number to speak to someone since Monday to check to make sure that the update would not affect my direct deposit. I also wanted to ask them why I still cannot use my card when the phone app and automated system is telling me I have money on my card. The amount of money the system is saying I have is incorrect as well and keeps changing.

    There is suppose to be a 24 hour number and I have been calling that number too for the last 48 hours. Sometimes the phone rings, sometimes it does not, sometimes it sounds like a customer service rep picks up and then no one there and the phone hangs up. I am very frustrated. I can't use my money, my direct deposit has not posted yet and it's been 48 hours and I still cannot get hold of any customer service rep to speak with. I have no way of using my own money. I just want to get my money off this card, stop my direct deposit. I have had this card for over two years and never had a problem. However I cannot do business with a company that I cannot get a hold of for 48 hours. FYI my husband works overnight and was on hold with their 24 hour a day number for 3 1/2 hours...

    I have called RushCard 30-40 times. Every time I call it either hangs up on me after two or three rings, I’m on hold for hours and hours at a time and music just plays and plays and plays, or the phone will just ring forever. My card has been blocked by them on other occasions where it took me a month to get in contact with them to let them know the transactions was me and to unblock my card. All of my money goes into this account so when they block my card I have no way of getting access to my money. They are a horrible company and horribly ran. There is no way customers shouldn't be able to get in contact with them. If you are reading this AVOID RUSHCARD AT ALL COSTS!

    RushCard just did a maintenance shutdown, where I couldn't use my card at all. Now my balance is showing wrong on my text alert, and online account. It is not showing my direct deposit. I have tried several times to contact Customer Service, every time staying on hold for over 45 minutes.     I've been a RushCard member since 2004 with no issues! As of Monday, October 12, 2015, myself and many others are unable to get our money from them.     I got the RushCard prepaid card because I'm getting paid two or three days in advance before I get my paycheck as well as getting my benefits early. I can pay my bills and load money on the card. I have used the card to make online purchases. This is convenient because if there's nothing on the card, I might have cash in my pocket and if I see something, I'd load money to the card and go get it. RushCard is doing a great job. The reps are always friendly and knowledgeable. I don't have to worry about when I'm getting paid. I can call their number and they'll tell me automatically when my money is going to be loaded.

    RushCard had some new update. With this update members have not been able to access any funds needed. I have bills to pay due today as well as in need for gas to get to work. This update was for Oct. 12, here it is the 15th and my direct deposit has being affected. I'm not happy at all with the service they give. Called customer service and they are aware and not sure when I will be able to access. Russell Simmons has to do better. This is not going to end the right way.     RushCard has told its customers that they were changing their systems Monday, Oct 12, 2015. And as of this date their system is still down. No one answers the phones or you’re on hold, then they transfer you, then hang up.     Other people must not be going through what I am. It had been a nightmare. So the RushCard all together shuts down for hours for a scheduled maintenance and during that time you are unable to use you card, YOUR own money. That was over 2 days ago. Was notified that they were back up and running. BIG mistake. They were having major issues. Hour later, I took all the money I had and attempted to load at the register on my RushCard. Seems like it worked but when I checked my account, nothing, no money. I waited and waited and still nothing. I called. It took over an hour on hold to reach someone. Their repeat hold music, OMG! Was told the update didn't go well, there are huge problems, try in the morning, hope to have it fixed. Until then nothing I can do.

    It has NOW been over fifty something hours. Still no access to the only money I have. Single mother, almost out of gas. Scared to death. After holding for over an hour again last night, was advised it could be another 24 to 48 hours before I can use MY money. I have been embarrassed trying to purchase gas with MY money and the card repeatedly declined. My hands are tied. Nothing I can do. So now on the THIRD day with NO access to MY funds, my hard earned money and I am suppose to have a direct deposit today, that I couldn't stop. Won't even get paid. I would recommend to anyone, DON'T use the RushCard. If you have to just deal in cash. This is NOT the first time I haven't been able to get my money off my card because of their system. Ok a couple hours for system maintenance but OVER 4 freaking DAYS with no way to get your money. It is a complete nightmare!!!

    So I have been with RushCard for about 5 yrs. There was a minor problem with my direct deposit when they switched from Wells Fargo to Metabank. A few months back my dd was late by a day. Ok I dealt with that but now they said that they are updating the system and I am yet to see my dd that was supposed to be deposited on friday. Spent all day yesterday trying a couple of different customer service numbers and got the recording that was supposed to give me a cs rep. I got put on hold for 1 hour then hung up on. The day before when I called, the cs rep gave me the company line of, "Our systems are updating and will be done by morning." So we are now two days since I talked to someone. Can't get them on the phone and the people at Metabank where my funds are deposited were rude and didn't have any answers and couldn't even tell me where my money was. They have 4,000 dd customers who don't have their money or access to it and still have no answers.

    I have had RushCard for a while now and I normally don't have any issues but today is different. It started on Monday, October 12, 2015 that a text was sent out stating that they were doing some maintenance and that we could not access our account until noon. I normally get my direct deposit two days early which means it should have arrived today. I didn't get my deposit and I cannot access my account nor get anyone on the phone. Every time I call, the phone just rings or it will finally pick up and disconnects. I am extremely frustrated because I don't have my money nor can I speak to anybody about it. This is poor customer service at its finest. They could have at least alerted its customers.

Then I cannot even sign in using the app or on the regular website. Then when I call it says I have a balance of 100$ more than what I should. Not sure why?     Company went through a system upgrade on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 3 a.m. As of 8:15 p.m. on October 13, 2015, this upgrade has shut the system completely down.     I have helped someone with something and they were making monthly payments to me. She lives in another state so it was a lot cheaper to send the money via RushCard as opposed to Western Union or MoneyGram. A friend told me about RushCard and I've been a card holder for 2 years and 3 months now. I like it because I get the automatic text alert that tells me my balance instantly and the transaction they processed. Most of the time it does, but sometimes there's a great lag in between. Moreover, it's also very convenient to pay bills online or make online purchases. The only problem I run into most of the time is that a lot of people consider it a prepaid card. I also use direct deposit every week and it's very easy to set it up. I go into the app and pull up the reload locations which are near me. I called RushCard yesterday to get some information and it was very easy and wasn't a big hassle. So my entire experience is good.

    I have direct deposit set up with RushCard. When it was time for me to withdraw money, RushCard told me my pin wasn't correct and then said my card wasn't activated after I used it numerous of times. I can not get in touch with anyone from RushCard and no one has responded to my emails. So, basically they took my entire paycheck.     I have been using my RushCard for a little over 6 months now. If it wasn't for the payday advance I would not have this card. I cannot check my balance via text, email or customer service. Every number I call never answers or it disconnects. I can't go online and find a way to contact customer service without being ran around the internet.     On Mon 10/12/2015 3 am - 8 am all customers were informed that there will be a system update and the new features will be awesome and just what we as the consumer needed. Well here it is 10/13/2015 and the system is completely out of whack.     My direct deposit comes faithfully every 2 weeks on a Tuesday, or Monday early. Today 10/13/2015, my direct deposit has not shown up on my account yet as of 2:27pm EST. I called RushCard this morning, they say they have no record of it. I have verified with my employment and the transmission was sent on time to the correct account. RushCard recently made some changes to the accounts and online access, and I believe they are having difficulties depositing consumers' money.     Absolutely unacceptable Rush customer service. Firstly, it seems that many of these reviews are fake, because as we speak and for a couple days now, Rush members have not been able to log into our accounts, not been able to access their funds, and not been able to get through to customer service to get answers about what is really going on here. Supposedly the system was down for maintenance and has basically remained down ever since. Why is no one being told what is going on with their money? What about money that is supposedly being deposited as direct deposits? What about funds that we cannot get access to? Absolutely unacceptable.

    I've had the RushCard for months now and no complaints until they decided to do their system upgrade and since Monday morning, am locked outta my account so I can't access no money and no one answers the 800 Number when you call. It's ridiculous, I can't even touch my own money for days now and no one answers their phone. I was notified that I wouldn't have access, yes but the system would be up and running by 8:00 Monday morning. Hello it's now late Tuesday afternoon, what do I do? Any answers would be helpful.

    I've been a RushCard member for 5 years. It's nice that I can use it at any ATM and the direct deposit is early. It's easy to pay bills or make any online purchases and I use it all the time. I use the direct deposit 95% of the time and it's very convenient. Since I don't have to carry cash, it makes it harder to go shopping.     I hate RushCard. First off they deposit my money on a expired card, tried to force me to pay 30 to get a new card expedited. I told them no then took 4.95 off my card for a replacement fee when they are the ones who didn't send me a card when it expired. They were very unhelpful.     I've been using Rushcard since 2013. It helps me see where my money is going and I can manage my finances through an online account. Also, one benefit of using the card is that the direct deposit is 2 days sooner. Rushcard makes it very convenient for me to pay bills and make online purchases. But I've been having a little issue with them about the Refer-a-Friend program. They send me a text every week about the Refer-a-Friend, and whenever they activate their card, that we'd both get $20. I got my mom to get a card and activated it last Thursday. I asked them, "How long it will take?" They said, "Well, it usually takes around 24 hours."

    So, the following Monday after she activated her card on Thursday, it still wasn't on there. I called them again and the lady said that she was going to put something in my note and process an order, and it should take between 1 to 2 business days. So I had to call again today because neither one of us had gotten it. I was on the phone with customer service for about 30 - 45 minutes. They were saying that somebody is not qualified. They kept putting me on hold and I was at work, so I never really finished the conversation. I never got an outcome. It's really aggravating me. If the customer service was a little bit better, I would recommend them.

    Try to establish my account online and I never was able to do it. It was impossible. It is still not registered online. I put all my card information on my current and true information accurately and I still didn't get my card registered. So no I think it's a crap trying to do something online when it's impossible and people constantly telling you when you call customer service. That they keep trying to tell you to do when you call them for assistance, fix your bugs in your system. It can be a great system if this worked out appropriately.

    I started having problems beginning of September with my card (declining transactions). Contacted the bank, RushCard, and they told me they didn't see any failed/declined transactions. I continued to stay on the phone with customer service while I attempted to use an ATM. While CS is on the phone, the ATM instructed me to contact my financial institute. CS didn't see any failed/declined transactions, but she informed me that she would have to send an email to their IT department for them to look into the issue and it would take 2-3 business days. In the meanwhile, a new card (same numbers/date/CVV) was expedited to me at a charge of $30. I received the card a couple of days later and activated it. Still never received a call from RushCard regarding this issue.

    Tried using the new card only for it to be acting the same way declining/failing transactions. Contacted RushCard and explained to them again what was going on and that this was the new card I was using. I asked if they knew why this was happening and if they heard anything from the IT. They responded they wasn't sure and no response from the IT dept and they would have to send another email. Thankful my mother had a card and I was able to transfer funds to her card, but was charged a .99 for each transfer plus .99 every time I used her card. Needless to say I have my payroll direct deposited into this account and is not able to access my funds when I get paid.

    Today makes the 3rd payroll direct deposit that I am unable to use my card. Spoke with a manager today and I informed her that this has been going on now for 6 weeks and this is unacceptable and also informed her that I have bills I needed to pay. She apologized for the inconvenience and informed me that she didn't see any failed/declined transactions. I told her this is the same thing that has been going from the beginning and that she will not see it until the next day. She asked me if I can do a conference call for one of my bills. I conferenced call her and my car company and sure enough the payment declined while she was on the line. She stated she would have to send an email to IT dept (which I already knew) and she advised me to get a new card with new numbers/date/CVV and pay another $30 to have it expedited.

    I informed her I wanted to do a transfer, but it wouldn't allow me to. She informed me that there is a limit of $2000, you can transfer in a month's time and I was almost at my limit and could only do $202. I attempted to do the transfer, but was not allowed to because she had already submitted for me to get a new card. She put me on a brief hold and came back to the line to inform me that I couldn't do a transfer because I would need to have the new card (CVV #) which was not coming until Monday. I asked her why she submitted it for a new card if I had asked about doing a transfer. She stated she was unaware that I wanted to do a transfer.

    Now I have to wait until Monday in order to pay my bills and also my car is on Empty. I got paid today and cannot access my money and they don't know the reason why I can't use my card. There is no other way for me to get money from my account. I have had enough with this bank. I will be done with them as soon as I get my funds from them. From a very pissed customer and I would not ever refer anyone else to them. Run now before this happens to you. Also, I have been a member with them since 2011.

It also has its perks such as the early direct deposit, but there are a few things that should be changed. Most importantly is the daily withdrawal limit which should be eliminated or increased. I have an issue with this when paying rent because it takes me two days to pull out the proper amount of funds to pay my monthly rent.     Rushcard's fees weren't bad so I went with them. I like them better than MetaBank and I'm thankful for them. I don't like shopping in stores and being able to make online purchases is convenient. I don't have to deal with no turn up. I also have my Social Security direct deposit under my card. With the card, I can't spend what I don't have. What I don't like about the bank they have is they say I can take $500 at an ATM but I can't. I can only take $480 because the charges. They make me wait exactly 24 hours before I can take any more out. If I was going to do something where I needed to pay more than $500 in cash, I had to do two ATM withdrawals which will have $5 in fee because there's $2.50 for each. Then the ATM is going to charge me another $3 so that's $6 for 2 transactions. With others, I could take out $1000 a day. Other than that, I'm satisfied with it.

    I primarily use Rushcard to pay bills, which is convenient. The reload location is difficult from a mobile phone though. When I inquire about it, the reps are not helpful in that area but they try. And their perks where they'll give you $20 if you get somebody to join Rushcard don't work. I have spoken to their customer service about it and they could do nothing. That's why I don't refer anyone. Other than those, everything's good.

    I’ve been with RushCard for a long time, since before 2008. It was owned by a minority business and being a minority myself, I chose it. It’s convenient and easy to pay bills or make online purchases wirth it. I wasn’t able to use the traditional bank debit cards so the Rushcard works for what I need to use it for. There’s an easier way that I can use to reload but the direct deposit process is easy. Their team is very helpful, customer service oriented and gives right answers. My experience has been great up to this point. The only grievance that I have is that I’m not exactly happy with MetaBank versus what they had before. The direct deposit doesn’t come through like Chase did. When it's over the weekend or on Friday deposits, it doesn’t come in as rapidly as when they had Chase and I had to wait until Monday.

    I've been with RushCard for almost four years and so far, it's been good. They text me when my direct deposit is there or when I've used the card and it shows they keep me updated on exactly what I'm spending. It's great for the past couple of months to have that but before, they would text me the information when I use my card, how much I have left and how much I spent. Since using the card, I've been maintaining my income a little bit better than having the money directly to me. Also, I haven't had any issues with this as far as maintaining what I need to do with it. I use it to pay my bills and it's really convenient because I know I can just swipe the card and it's going to get there within the same day or next 24 hours.

    Their direct deposit is easier since it allows me to have my income two days prior than when I normally would. That helped me a lot because I can get out earlier, pay my bills and get those squared away and take care of what I need to at least two days before. By the time I'm done with everything, I know everything's been paid out. It's been really good for me.

    When I called if I had a situation or to know any information, they've been very helpful and have promptly given me the information so I can understand it. They've been very good with me. I had a situation with my RushCard. Somehow, the place where I did a transaction ended up double-taking income. Once I realized, I called them and they got it back into my account ASAP. I really appreciate them doing that. I like RushCard and it's a very good decision to become one of their members.

    It takes too long to speak to a customer service rep. All the messages you have to go through to get to just what you need or do. Ask for your whole card number when you may not have your card near you. Wait time for a representative is way too long.

    I've been a RushCard customer for over 10 years. That's my major way of paying bills and purchases and it is very convenient for me. Also, I like Russel Simmons and Kimora Simmons and the way the cards look. The team has been excellent - I have called them (maybe 3 or 4 times), and they have always been courteous and able to answer my questions. I love everything about RushCard, I try and talk up more people into it (although, some don't like it).

    I receive my direct deposit two days sooner with Rushcard. I only needed to give the paperwork to my employer and the direct deposit process started so it was fine. Additionally, I am able to make payments either on the phone or online with it. It's also easier for me not to have to carry cash. However, I had an unauthorized online purchase from an unknown place last week. I have two Rushcards so I closed one and transferred all funds to the alternate one. They sent me paperwork on the 3rd and I faxed it customer service to dispute the transaction on the 5th. The first lady I spoke with told me I was eligible for a provisional credit amounting to $73.96. I called in yesterday to find out my provisional credit is still waiting and it can take 10 days.

    The whole experience in general with the customer service reps was horrible. They are not reading the notes on my account before they give me information. They lack knowledge and are not aware of what their services are. It almost made me consider to no longer have RushCard which I have been using for at least five years now. We're still in the process of disputing the transaction. I already called in twice to have update. I will keep trying but it's inconvenient and that's not what I was told. I was told that I would receive updates via email. As of today, I have not yet received an update yet. I want to make sure that they got my information in the mail so that the process can get started but I am not hearing anything unless I call. Yesterday, a lady told that she's not allowed to transfer me to the dispute department which I don't understand. I have over a thousand dollars in my account but $73 is still $73.

    My friend and her mom both have a RushCard and they would transfer money back and forth to each other. That’s what made me get my own two cards from them because I liked how they operate their money. There’s only a little difference with other prepaid cards. Aside from the fact that I can transfer money to other RushCard users, they also give rewards and there’s also the direct deposit. It’s a really good thing to have especially when I need cash. I’m all over the place at times so when I need something, it’s easier for me to transfer money back and forth versus having a bank account and being charged every single time I do a transfer. With RushCard, I’m also able to pay all of my bills online which is generally free – that’s a plus side. Whenever I need to hold money or to send it, my RushCard is my go-to because it’s easier to put it away.

    I utilize both reload location and direct deposit options and it’s very simple. I just go and tell them how much I want to do, put on and that’s it. I spoke with their team too, and that was fine. I had a couple of simple questions I wanted to ask and the lady I spoke with was very nice. I needed my account number one day and I called in. She explained to me exactly what it was. The people I was trying to give it to didn’t understand that it was actually the card number and I wanted to make sure and verify that that’s what it was. I don’t really have to call them much, but when I do, they’re helpful. All in all, my experience with RushCard has been amazing and it has helped me a lot. I would recommend it to friends.

    I had an simple issue of ATM error. I swipe my card and ask for 140$. ATM says error, gives me a statement showing 0 disposed yet RushCard takes the money off. Simple to correct after all I have the receipt. No, every time I call which has been a lot I get a different answer. They lie, hang up on you, cheat you and like they're the dope man and you're just some junkie. If you work like I do and make 300 a week you need all your money. Just like the review says - if you have to dispute something you will never see it again. They will run you in circles till you give up and they get rich.

    I got a RushCard because they were affiliated with a company that allowed you to photo your check for deposit. Well, I got coffee ring from my cup on the check and this company tells me the check is no good and won't honor it. Then the company I work for won't honor it because the company that works with RushCard had flagged the check as fake and I had to wait another 3 weeks to get a new one in which time I lost my place to live because of this company RushCard teamed up with to ** everybody, over the stress caused me a grand mal seizure which left me paralyzed down my whole right side. Thank you RushCard for ruining my life.
