    I only had a week or two of problems. Then it went away. I HATE how inconsistent the direct deposit is. Sometimes I get it at 5, sometimes midnight. It's not my employer. I hear the customer service is outsourced and they barely speak English. Shame on you Mr. Simmons.

    When I first opened my RushCard account in 2010 I was very satisfied with everything. Then they started offering my direct deposit be available 2 days sooner, which only added to my satisfaction. Being able to text and get my balance was a great feature, and receiving a text when my deposit was available was excellent. However, the past year or so it has gotten considerably worse. I no longer receive texts when my deposit is available. If I text to get a balance, I always get a reply saying my balance is $0, but when I log in, that's not the case at all.

    The past few weeks my direct deposit is not at all consistent when it's made available. My employer nor my payroll company have changed in over 6 months, so there is no reason my deposit availability should fluctuate so much. My budget is figured knowing that for months and months my deposit was available Wednesday night around 10-12. The past few weeks, I'm lucky if it's there by noon on Thursday. When you live paycheck to paycheck and have your budget set to make it between pays without having no money, this causes major problems never knowing when my money will be available to me again. I still use my RushCard, but I am transitioning to a bank due to the recent decline in their services.

    Although I've had a couple of hiccups with RushCard, for the most part, they're okay. The 2 day early direct deposit was the reason I chose them over other prepaid card providers. With my card, my bills are paid on time. I do not always have to go to the ATM. I can swipe and go. It's very convenient being able to use RushCard to pay my bills and make online purchases because my bills get paid and I can purchase anything I want. The team members at RushCard have all been good. Overall, I'm satisfied.

    I called several times before today and I've been a customer with THE RUSHCARD since 2013. Lately every time I call to ask questions about something they ask for my social security number, my address, my cell number. If you already have pulled up my info why do you need all that? Well I finished with the customer service rep. She transferred me to the security department so I could proceed with setting up a code. I understood that. What I didn't understand - why you keep asking me for the security code for my account. "Ms. C are you going to give me a code to put in the system?" No. No. No. Yeah I thought y'all would be like the banks and have my pick a code that only I know. I not you and I. "Well, Ms. C are you going to tell me what you picked for your security code." She kept asking me, until I got so tired of the convo I hung up the phone. No Click. Where is the safety and security in this world?

    On March 11, RushCard had computer issues. I withdraw 102.50 @ 4:42. They triple billed it @ 4:44 and 4:45, along with 2 other double bills. Calling hasn't work to resolve. I was told to email, indicates I will get a response in 12 hours. Nothing but a mass generated response indicating I should call 866 number again. They have issues on a regular basis. On any given day you can have problems getting access to your money. Been a member since 2003 and what do I have to show, no faith, basically crooks or just poorly trained. I need help.

    Having a RushCard is very convenient. I don't have to go to the bank and wait in line because my paycheck is deposited directly in it. Setting it up was easy. The only thing I did is get HR to list me up. I get paid early and I don't have to worry about going over what I have. I know what I got, when I got it, when I used it and how much I used because I get the alerts on my phone. It's easier to swipe it and go. Every time I call and have a problem, I automatically get it solved right there and then. Everybody always helps me and is really nice. The only problem I had with the card was at Food Lion. For some reason, I can't get cash back on it. Every other stores I have no problem with RushCard.

    I have been RushCard member since 2011. I have a bank account but like the 2 day early to receive. I used a MoneyPass atm which based on information received it is no charge. But yet was charged $2.50@3 and have made several attempts to get resolved but keep being given runaround stated 1-2 business days. The issue is not so much the refund but the fact the atm is convenient for me, should be free and this issue has been lingering on for over 2 weeks which is unacceptable. I am in the customer service field and just baffled with the way issue is being handled and how a company can exist with treating customers this way.

    I noticed my account was missing a little over $500 so I filed the dispute via the email address provided. I was asked via several different emails that more information was needed. Finally I was asked to contact customer service which I did. I was sent via email forms that needed to be signed. I printed them out that day and signed where was needed. I was advised I could email them back or upload to my online account. Neither were successful. So I was finally able to get access to a fax machine that was free, however it is an hour away from my house. I sent the fax, got a confirmation it was sent and waited. I was advised it takes up to 3 hours for it to be entered into the system. I waited 6 hours and called, it was not received, spent 45 minutes on the phone only to be told to try again. I am so upset that it has been so difficult to get 3 simple papers to this department. I am considering cancelling my account once this is resolved.

    RushCard has been excellent. At the time when I got my card, if one had first activated a new RushCard, they match the $20 for the $20 first deposit. Then we had no fees at all the past couple of months from November to March. The card has been very convenient because my direct deposit shows up early. I'm able to use the app on our phone so it's right on my fingertips, and I can use Ingo, the new feature on the app, where I could just snap the picture of a check.

    I'm an Amazon queen, and I use RushCard for my online purchases. I also keep my bills constantly paid - My Netflix, Hulu and my cellphone bills are immediately charged to my card. It's easy to swipe everywhere too. However, I've been finding it more difficult to reload. A couple of the Western Unions used to do the reloading around where I live at, and now they no longer do it. The only reloading place that seems to do it now is this one MoneyGram. It's not too far but I'm used to having multiple different locations, especially because Western Unions are 24/7, and MoneyGrams are not in this area. I also used to get a text whenever I would go to reload money on my card.

    There were only two instances I had to call customer service. Last year, my card was expiring and it was very convenient and lovely that it was going to be automatic for them to send my card. I also had accidentally entered the wrong password when I was logging in online instead of my app because I was filling out my direct deposit for my employer. Within minutes, the customer service was able to immediately handle the problem. They gave me a number to put in and I was able to go into my account and re-enter a new password.

    Now that I have the app and it's attached to the free ATMs that I can use and the customer service number is conveniently located right on it, I can send money from one RushCard to another. My direct deposit information is also there for employers. It has been getting better and better. The only thing is I know a lot of places have a maximum amount on a debit card, and I don't know what's the maximum amount I can handle on the RushCard.

    I got this card so that I could get my check faster since my bank only allows me access to my direct deposit on the day of the date of my deposit. Today I noticed that there were two unauthorized charges on my account and when I called to report it they told me that since the transactions were still pending they could not dispute it nor could they cancel the transactions or refund my money. As if that weren't bad enough they insisted on closing that account and issuing me a new card since my account had been compromised.

    This was done against my wishes and now I not only lost money due to their policies but I don't have a way to access my funds that are going to be deposited into my account this week. It takes 7-10 business days to get a new card. I AM LIVID! This is total crap customer service and I will never use this company again for anything. They won't even file a dispute on the unauthorized transactions until the 22nd of this month and were never able to answer me about how long the process takes!

    I like RushCard a lot. I've been a member for a couple years now. It's a very handy card to have. I get direct deposit from work, so it's more convenient than getting a check and then having to go to a bank to get the cash. I don't have to carry cash with me everywhere. I've got two cards and keep these on me at all times. It's very easy to transfer money when I want either one of the cards to use. Besides direct deposit, I used to do a lot of other side things too before, so sometimes I still may have to go and reload it myself, and it's very easy to do. I go to MyCVS right around the corner and tell them I want to reload cash. They take my card, take the money, and reload it within two minutes.

    I also make online purchases a lot with RushCard. I even made three the day before yesterday. Last night, when the system went down, I heard a lot of people had some problems with their cards, but I never had any. When I went online, my balance was a little off here and there, but when I went to the ATM, it showed me exactly what I needed to know. When I withdrew money, the ATM told me what I had so I didn’t have any problems with it either. I've recommended RushCard to people.

    RushCard is awesome. Their daily limit is reasonable. Also, I like that I do not have the fees from the bank account. RushCard is also widely accepted. I originally had a Bluebird American Express and it was not accepted anywhere. With RushCard, I definitely have the benefit of not having to worry if someone accepts my card. I also use both reload locations and direct deposit options and I haven’t had any issues.

    I have dealt with other prepaid debit cards and didn't like them, but so far, RushCard has been good. I get my checks with direct deposit, so every time I send something, I get an email showing how much I spent. I can also go online and check my account. One particular time, I added money on my card which took longer than normal to go through. When I called the lady from the RushCard team, she was very helpful. At the time she's finished, it showed where and when I did make that deposit on there and she was able to let me access it right then. All in all, I love that it's convenient and amazing.

    The CSR at RushCard is horrible. I requested a replacement card, takes 5-7 days, waited two weeks (because there were two holidays and weekends so I gave it an additional week) to call and it was confirmed that they actually never sent out my replacement "because of an error." I requested a 2nd one and was told that Card would be expedited since I've been inconvenienced. I called 5 days later and was told they don't do expedited shipping at all, so she lied. I waited another 2 weeks. Finally receive my card, but they kept all my funds on the first replacement card that didn't send out. So THEN they offered a manual transfer, which takes 1- 2 days, by now I know they're extremely inconsistent and unprofessional liars. So I called on the 2nd day, just to confirm as I suspected that they never processed the manual transfer.

    So I asked them to do a manual transfer and send me a confirmation while on the phone. Now "it's really being processed this time" but I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't receive it until December. Bottom line is I lost my card and requested a replacement one on 02/15/2016... Which takes 5-7 business days. It's now 03/11/2016 and I still don't have my money. As soon I receive my funds I will be cancelling my card. It's unfortunate because I've been with RushCard for a while now since 2012, and although I hear bad reviews about them I used them because my direct deposit for payroll came two days early with them but for this amount of stress and inconsistency when people have bills to pay this certainly isn't worth it. I should've had my card a week later, it's been a month and I still don't have my funds. Somebody better fix this before they end up with a lawsuit.

    I've been with RushCard for over 10 years. I like the fact that I get my money two days earlier. I could pay my bills before anybody else could and that's very convenient for me. It's an easy access. I'm able to get my money just about anywhere. I had to load money on the card and it's easy because they just take the card and put the money in. I don't have to fill out any form.

    My problem is the time that I can get the money changes from month to month. I might get it early or in the evening but it's not RushCard's fault. I got a text message today telling me my balance, so I guess they started back the text notification because they stopped doing it before. I'm pleased with the card and have recommended it. I'm going to stay with Rush ’cause I trust Rush.

    This card is a rip off. They block your card when they feel like it then ask for documents and then when you send documents they take forever to process them so now I have late fees because all my money is on this card. I'm canceling my service with them because now in coming out of more money, late fees disconnections, etc. all because of their system. I'll rather deal with my bank. I will never bank back with them or advise anyone to do so.

    I have had a RushCard for several years and I am pleased with the card and don't have any complaints about the product. I do have an issue with the rude people at customer service when I call in. I get the runaround every time I call and the language barrier is getting to be a bit much. I can't understand what the rep is saying and they always place you on hold for 2-3 minutes and come back with no resolution. I applied for a card for my son and since he is a minor, I needed to complete a parental consent form. I sent a copy of his social and my driver's license and it's still pending. It's been over 2 months and when I call in the rep says they haven't received my documents. I don't feel comfortable with that response since I sent in very important documents via fax and no one knows where they are. I can't believe this is how they do business.

    My card was cancelled out by RushCard due to someone from out of the country trying to hack my account. That was a headache alone because it took RushCard two weeks to explain that. Finally spoke with Christine who explained everything to me. She set up a new account for me, assured me that I would have no problem receiving my direct deposit, they would manually put in my direct deposit to the temporary card they issued me. Well guess what? Today my money is not there and all they can say is "you haven't set up your direct deposit for the new card." I explained I just got the and I am in the process of setting it up. They are telling me I can't get my money until that is done.

    Does that make sense to you. I had them transfer me to supervisor. He pretended like he was helping and then put me on hold and never came back to the phone. His name was James. So I called back and spoke with a Michael who tried to tell me the same thing and then said my money hits every Thursday at 2 pm. I told him it hits 12 noon. I told him I wanted a supervisor. I never got one. I have been with RushCard since 2010. This year they suck. I can't go to work tomorrow because I have no money. I can't buy food because I have no money. This will be my last year with RushCard. All I want is my money.

    I put my taxes on my RushCard. Used it several times with no problem. Note after having my card for over three months they have never sent my permanent card. Now they have frozen my card and they refuse to unfreeze it. Their websites refuse to allow me to upload the documents they request and I sent it certified mail and they claim they never received it.

    Not only that but their representatives are rude and all make excuses without ever answering any of my questions. This has gone on for weeks with no resolution. They keep saying 24 to 48 hours to fix it, then they don't. Claim someone's going to call me back but they don't. They say they have no fax numbers to fax documents to. Their websites don't work. They hang up on you and refuse to allow you to speak to anyone claiming they're the only available supervisor. And to top it all off they have my name spelled wrong and refuse to correct it. All I can do is log in and look at an account summary of the account and see my balance but I still can't get my money. DON'T USE RUSHCARD. THIS COMPANY STEALS YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY THEN GIVES YOU BS.

    I ordered a replacement card over 3 weeks ago and have since then called 3 times to be told my replacement card was never processed. I now have money that I am not able to access because the supervisors will NEVER come to the phone. I have stayed on hold for a total of 3 hours and still no progression! I have sent numerous emails and advised RushCard that I will take this as high as I need to and once I get all my money off the card, I will be closing my account! This is ridiculous and I wanted to make everyone aware! Go look at their Facebook page and you will see that I am BY FAR not the only one with these same issues.... BEWARE!!

    I've been a RushCard holder for quite some time now and my experience has been a good one. All I know is I can reload it on nearby locations and then use it as many times that I need to during that day. When I put my money on there, I can use it how many times I want to apply it. I take it with me on the town and that’s a good thing. I can load it or not, put my cash in my purse and put my card in pocket and keep on moving. I was able to use it to pay bills or make online purchases and it's very convenient. Customer service was good and they’re pretty nice when I call. I had ordered something off eBay and I had no results with it. I didn’t get the product so I tried to reach the company and I didn’t get any response from that either so I called eBay because they can take the money off my card.

    It was recommended to me that RushCard was a lot better and the other ones are so complicated and confusing, so I decided to choose them. I've been a RushCard holder for a couple of years now and I use it as a backup for an emergency which works really good for me that way. I am able to find reload locations that are close and I use RushCard to pay bills and make online purchases. The team at RushCard were knowledgeable and friendly. I contacted them when I was having problems with the password and ended up getting it changed. They gave me a code to go in there and I was able to change it. Overall, RushCard is very easy and convenient to use and I have recommended them to other people that I know.

    I am truly dissatisfied with this card. I not only didn't receive my deposit this morning, I now have to go the entire weekend without my deposit. It has normally post 3 days before the actual date, but today, there is nothing. I am truly unhappy with this situation. I asked a customer rep "Did this dilemma occur because of an ignorant leap year?" Her response was she couldn't say yes or no. Seriously!

    I've been a Rushcard holder for six years and it's been great. I have everything on it, I don't have cash in me. I use it to pay bills and make online purchases, which is very convenient. And I use their direct deposit option and reload locations that I'm able to easily find near me. Dealing with the team at Rushcard has always been positive. I chose Rushcard over other prepaid debit card providers because it was easy to access. But it's hard to only have $2,500 spending limit a day and I'm unable to increase it. If I was gonna cross a thousand, I'm gonna wait for another whole day.

    The RushCard at first I thought it was going to be just another card same as the all the rest. I found out that it has actually benefited me quite a bit. I received my tax benefit in only five days! There are hundreds of refill locations which makes it super easy to and convenient to load your card at anytime. The customer service does pretty well when it comes to getting you the help you need. I can only think of one area where I would suggest improvement and that would be the app or online app. It's just too simplistic for me it needs a little more depth to it, like options for what you want to look at regarding your account or ways to use your card through the app. Overall great card 8/10.

    I use my RushCard for direct deposit. I had heard bad reviews about RushCard so I was a little anxious but since they were recommended by a friend I decided to give them a try. I've had my card for 2 months. Today I received a text message that my direct deposit had been loaded to my card. One minute later I got another text message saying my card had been blocked and to call them. I spent over an hour on the phone with them. I was told they put a block on my card because I had a few declined transactions. At first they wanted to send me a new card in 5 to 7 days. I am a single mother living paycheck to paycheck. I have bills to pay. I needed to pay for medication today. I couldn't wait that long.

    After speaking with a supervisor I was told that they could send a card within 24 to 48 hours and that the money that was deposited onto my account would be wired to me thru MoneyGram. RushCard promised me this would be done today so that I could get my medication. I've waited several hours and still haven't been notified.     RushCard has been very convenient and manageable because I could use the debit card to pay our bills, and money is available for me if I needed it a little earlier. The people that were with Rushcard were the reason why I chose them over a different prepaid debit card provider.     I have been with RushCard since 2011 and I know like with any relationship there is no perfection. What I do expect is the correct information when I call and speak with your reps. I made a purchase with Walmart online and immediately cancelled within the hour of the purchase. So you'd think a few days tops to get your money back on your card since you have no merchandise. Well I have called RushCard 4 times now with no resolution or consistency in the answers I receive from the reps. I too am in customer service and I have to know state laws as well as company rules and regulations. So the last thing a consumer wants is to get inconsistency in the answer you get about when you will see your money reflected in your balance. Each time I called I was given a different answer.

    Now to be fair I have not really had many problems with them up until the past few months. Of course the systems problems that were highly publicized not too long ago and my deposit was affected. Just a word to the wise that is the fastest way to lose a customer. I want competent service. That's what fees are paid for. I'm not asking for anything I don't give in my line of work. Get on the same page people.

    My sister called me about RushCard years ago. She had it and said "You should try to get it." And then, I had seen it on my email, and I applied for it.     I am a very dissatisfied customer and I am getting ready to cancel my RushCard account. When RushCard had the glitch in their system I was told that it would only affect me for one week but it affected me for several weeks. Not only that when I called in about it I was told there was nothing they could do and the consultant hung up in my face. How rude is that?

    After having to pay my bills late along with the late fees the only thing RushCard offered to rectify the situation was fee free holiday!! That does nothing for me and it does not cover all the late fees I had to pay because of RushCard mistake! I almost lost my only mode of transportation because of that!! My overall feeling for RushCard at this point is they are horrible and do not care about their customers. Why should I pay 5 a month for an account that is not even properly managed. I really hate to leave bad comments being that I work In customer service myself but this comment was necessary and I hope someone who can make a difference reads this. Thank you.

    Not too long ago there was fraud on my account that I was not aware of. I happen to check the balance on my RushCard and found that there was a charge that I didn't make. I contacted the company immediately and told them of this problem. Their only solution was take my information out of their system.     I have 3 pending disbursements of 881 on my card where I was trying to purchase a ticket to South Africa and my card wouldn't go through.     I've only used RushCard a couple of times and I got one because I don't always like to use my bank card. If there's something else I plan on doing, I put the money on the card than keeping it on me. I heard something about people not being able to get any withdrawals off of Rushcard a couple of weeks ago but fortunately for me, I didn't need it during that time period, so I didn't have that experience. But it did concern me because I know if I put my money on this card, I want my money when I want my money. I'm using it for convenience and if I can't get my money, that tells me I have to look elsewhere because this is not working. There's not going to be a second time. However, I would recommend them because I had a Rushcard before and I loaded it with money, but I hadn't realized that it had expired. And once I called customer service, they transferred everything to the new card and there was no problem.

    RushCard is the best prepaid card I've had. The one I had previously was charging me $12 a month for the card and $5 to load it. So I deleted that card and switched to Rush. They gave us the no transaction fee discount for Christmas, which is generous of the company. When I refer people, they quickly load their reward into my card and I'll keep referring people. It's spectacular how fast they do things sometimes. But, I don’t get the text alert super-fast like I do with the previous card. I think they can do a little better with their system. It's not a major problem but it's something they might want to update. All in all, they’ve handled everything well for me.

    I had a RushCard since I was about 18 years old. It's a debit card so I spend what I have and it works best for me. I've been with it so long because they have never mishandled my money and I've never been good with banks or checking account, so having access to what I'm able to spend is good. Also, I use the direct deposit location and everything I have to call them about is either to renew a card, that go rather smooth. I just wish sometimes it will be a little bit more customer service agents that speak English a little better. Other than that, I will recommend it to a friend because a couple of my family members already have it.

    I have been with RushCard since 2004, and this year has been the worst experience I have had with this company. In Nov. of 2015 I received 2 fraudulent charges from 2 different Dollar Generals in GA within a minute apart. At the time of the charges I was at work in Miami, FL. I contacted RushCard and reported the charges. They advised me I had to fill a form and send it back and after 10 days I will receive a provisional credit. I received the credit.

    Fast forward to Feb 2016 and I was charged again for the same charges, being advised that they did not find anything wrong with these charges, but they cannot advise me of their finding or anything. Every time I call I am being advised of misinformation from the reps. They are not nice and do not care. They have an oh well attitude. I also received a new card and for the past 3 days I am unable to access any funds from card because the security code on the back of the card is not good.

    I spoke to someone on February 11, 2016 at 9am and they advise that they will be expediting my issue to corporate so that they can manually activate the card and it will be completed in 24 hours. I called back later that day to check the status and I was told that it was never expedited and they were doing it then and that was at 5pm. I called back on Friday and was advised that it takes 1-2 business for expedited issues and Monday was holiday so my issue will not be resolved until Tuesday or Wednesday.

    So now I have no access to my money, or direct deposit. I am unable to buy food for my child, put gas in my car, purchase my child's medication or pay my cell phone bill because the people at RushCard keep telling me sorry for the inconvenience. Currently my cellphone will be off because I have no access to pay for it and my life is going downhill because I cannot pay my bills. And they are basically telling me I have to go almost a whole week with NO MONEY!!!! That is not fair and that is not how you treat customers.

    This has cause me so much stress and grief that I do not know what I am going to do and no one there seems or want to help or attempt to help or care about the fact that I have a child that I need to take care of and I only have $2 dollars to my name and I am a single parent. I would not recommend this company to no one because when it comes to solving problems they are not good at it and they do not care that you have a life as well and everything has to be done with sending an email. And their phone system for some reasons always hangs up on you.

    I tried NetSpend and other prepaid cards but I didn’t like them too much. Currently, I can’t get a bank account and I’m working.     Rush has my retirement check in my account and they will not allow me to withdraw it. I never received my new card after my old card expired, and now they are refusing to send a new card even after sending them all my information/documentation.     I have a pending debit for 338.00 since the 1st of February and still waiting to be credited back to my account since it was cancelled on the 1st by the company. It seems like Rushcard is having issues seeing the debt being cancelled by Bank of America and I have been told that is will be credited by 2/10/16. But I'm still waiting. I need my money ASAP!!! The cancellation number has been provided to Rushcard and still the Corporate office still holding my funds and not making a effort to search the cancellation item or correct this issue they're having.

    I like the fact that RushCard sends text alerts the minute I make transactions and that it's in most stores like Wal-Mart which is close by to where I was at. The card allows me to stay on budget when I spend or pay bills because I can track it through text alerts. I can pay typically any bill online which makes it convenient and I have been doing it that way and it gives me an easy way to keep track of what I am doing.

    It’s also very easy to load up when I want to do a transaction. Going to the store has worked out better but uploading a check is probably my only frustration with RushCard at this moment. The third party check cashing has to call the other person who wrote the check out, and it’s tedious because if that person does not pick up, it delays the deposit. I wish RushCard would find another third party to do it more regularly without penalizing the RushCard holder. Customer service has been good and able to work out whenever I call with an issue. With the exception of the check depositing part, I love the rest of my experience with RushCard. I would recommend them to a friend.

    I ordered a RushCard over the phone. Received my card activated. The card had money transferred to my card. Used my card a couple of time and my card was blocked. Had to send info for security purpose. Still have not unblocked my card, no money, have to wait till they decide to give me my money. Will never use again. I would not recommend this to anyone. They let you put money on your card and then put a block on your card without any notice.

    I think I might have to file legal action to get my money. Their customer service is rude. They hung up on me, told me if I don't send info I will never get my money. I talked to a supervisor. They was rude and put me on hold for an hour then hung the phone up. I called back, put me on hold and hung up. Kept doing the over and over again. I am so upset with this company. When I do get my money I would never in life use them again. I think they are scamming you to load your money and hold it for their interest to build up.

    Yes I called more than 4 times yesterday, RushCard took money out of my account and claims it was because of pending deposits. Well guess what? I had my Lawyer go over my transactions on my account with me. We added up all my deposits and deductions and as I say Rush owes me 30.00. My lawyer said I have the right to press a lawsuit since I did reach out to RushCard many times today and got hung up on. My lawyer advised me to do this email and if I still do not receive my money owed, he will assist on moving forward with this lawsuit. This is theft and against the FDIC laws. Again this is the last time I reach out or there will be a lawsuit coming.

    I'm not sure what RushCard has going BUT I've been a customer since 2013! Why did something tell me to just check my card and what do you know it was BLOCKED! Not by me! So I called and this heffer tells me "oh yes we've cancelled your card and sent a new one..." (I'm lost and shocked.) I ask why and the explanation I get is ridiculous. "Maam we have system that has been investigating everyone's account due to money order and cancelled your card because of a purchase", "Maam someone is using your card (MY CARD NEVER LEAVES MY SIDE & I CHECK MY CARD DAILY)."

    I tell the heffer "if I didn't call in myself and report that your system can't justify that information, so you all just do this without my system." This heffer's response is, "No maam it's for your safety and security"! RushCard, this is hilarious because you can't tell me about the mysterious purchase, you can't tell me about the wonderous system that thinks for me, you don't NOTIFY me of NOTHING. FOR ALL I KNOW A RUSHCARD REP COULD'VE DONE THIS! I've recommended so many people over the years but that stops now! I closed my account and I'm posting this on every blog!     I have had the worst customer service with RushCard for the last past 2 days. Okay so, my old card expired 12/15. I requested a new one and I received it 2 days later. Once I called the # on the card to activate it, that's when the trouble began. The activation line would not accept my SS #. As I entered it in the system, it kept repeating "I'm sorry I did not get your response, please try again later or visit our website rushcard.com." When I called Customer Service to explain to them what was happening, I was told multiple excuses on how I was not doing it correctly, or it's the phone that I am using.

    So I tried from my house phone, received the same problem. I call back to Customer Service; they told me "oh I'm sorry, just try it again." So I try it again and it does the same thing. Once again, I call Customer Service back and they tell me "there have not been any problems reported on the activation line not working" and tell me to try it "again". I try it again and of course I get the same issue. "I'm sorry I did not get your response, please try again later." So this time I call back and ask for a supervisor, and the rep told me to try it one more time before she gets me a supervisor.

    Ugh so I did it again. Same results. I call back and ask to speak with a supervisor again. This time I am transferred to a supervisor. The supervisor tells me that I am only suppose to enter the last 4 digits of my SS # (even though it asks for my 9 digit SS #). I explain to the supervisor everything I had went through with trying to activate it. He stated to try it again with the last 4 digits and transferred me back to the activation line & of course I received the same exact response!!

    So this time I called back "again" furious!!! I asked for a supervisor and the rep explained to me that it is the last 4 digits that needs to be entered (mind you, I asked for a supervisor). I told her it has nothing to do with the amount of digits, the system is saying "it did not hear my response." She still told me that same thing everybody else kept telling me. I then at that point became so irate, due to the run around I kept getting. She then told me that she apologizes but there have been an issue with the activation system all week. Told me to try to activate it in the morning. (Excuse me???)

    This is horrible customer service!!! I have never in my life dealt with anything like this before. I am customer service and that is not how you treat your customer at all! RushCard have been very dishonest with me and I do not appreciate it. I have been a customer since 2012. But guess what - not anymore! You can keep the card!! I would not recommend RushCard to anyone unless you want a headache! I do not know what can be done but Russell Simmons, Kimora Lee Simmons need to know what is going on with RushCard! Sincerely, a pissed, used-to-be-customer!

    I have 4 Rushcards. I used to have text alerts for each card every time they were used, but when the last update from 2015 was done, I lost those alerts. I have tried to reset alerts via text, but each time they were rejected. I would really like to get alerts back on my cards.     I have had an unusual experience. I lost my RushCard on Jan. 4, 2016. I received the replacement card on Jan. 22, 2016. I activated the new card. I called RushCard that same day so they could put the balance of my old card on to my new card. I was told that it would take 2 business days. I waited Sat., Sun., Mon., and Tues. and I still don't have my balance on my new card. I am about to call because I am not satisfied with this process at all.

    I've been with Rush for over five years now. And I've never had an issue. My direct deposit no problem. If I ever lost my card they replaced it. No hassle. No problem. I in all the years that I have used my card have never had any issues at any retailers. And the customer service people at RUSH are always very helpful. My experience has truly been positive.

    So I wanted to get my daughter a RushCard and she is 16. I went through all the proper channels with numerous back and forth and nothing! No response after speaking with reps over and over and over again. The same reply, "We are waiting on corporate." I really don't understand the issues since this is a prepaid card service, not a credit card!!! And so stupid! Don't offer this option anyone that want to get a card so your child doesn't have to carry cash. This company isn't the one!!! I'm about to cancel soon. Not happy at all and I've been with RushCard since Russell told he was doing this venture. It's just not worth it anymore.

    I decided to get a RushCard because I was trying to see how it will work. Now I use its direct deposit feature and I have been able to use the card to pay bills online. Their customer service has always been good since I use them when I’ve forgotten my password, and they’ve been able to answer all my questions. The company’s excellent and I love it.     I've been using RushCard for about four years now and it has been a really good card. I use it for all our purchases. My account got compromised one time and it seemed like they didn't know what to do or how to proceed to make it right. I also don't like the design of the new card. Everything is vertical now instead of being horizontal. I want them to change it back to the way it was. When I sign the card for purchases, the first four numbers on the card disappear.

    In terms of customer service, some of the people that I talked with were okay and willing to help and then there are others that are confused as to what I'm asking for. My other card expired last year. It was around Christmas time and I had to buy gifts, so I told them to put a rush on it. The two guys I talked to about it were confused. One person tells me one thing and the other person, another. I got the card mail rushed but then two or three days later, I got another card in the mail. I still have the two cards. Their customer service, with too many people, doesn't know how to take care of the customer.

    I like to support black-owned businesses so I got RushCard. I enjoy the fact that I do get it a couple of days before and that comes in handy especially with trying to live on a fixed income. I am now retired and living on social security plus my Veterans Administration salary, so it comes in very handy for that. I also use it to pay bills online in which I had no problem and have it reloaded at a Walmart close to me. There were a couple of times I've locked myself out because of a password problem and then another time, I was trying to figure out how would I pay another merchant by using my card so I had to call the customer service and they were very helpful.

    I heard about the problems that they just went through with the banking and I was sorry to see that that happened to Russell Simmons. He’s an outstanding individual, ready to help where the need is and also a pillar in our community. So, I will continue to use RushCard as long as everything goes smoothly. I really appreciated the fact that he gave us no fees while they were going through all that stuff. So I really appreciate the business.

    Someone went into my account without my permission. The people who are helping me get my money back are saying that the only reason why they couldn't help is because RushCard doesn't give the whole card information, only the last four digits of the card, and if they could get more information, they could help faster. So, they told me to wait 90 days for my money that was taken away from my bills which I’m behind now because of the 90-day policy.
