    I've had RushCard for nine years. It was the most convenient card at the time. Through their card, I get my pay earlier and it doesn't let me go over the limit so that helps. I can also use it to pay online which is very convenient.

    I've loaded my RushCard three times since I've had it. I was skeptical when I loaded it a couple of Christmases ago and it made me scared but after 20 minutes the money was there. Then my card was expiring on 12/16. I went to load money onto the card and the reps kept saying that it was denied. I thought it was a glitch so I went somewhere else and it kept denying it. I was frustrated because I was wondering how my check would load onto the card at the time that I activated the new card but everything went through fine.

    I was able to talk to somebody in the beginning but now, if there's a problem, there is no option to talk to a rep and that's one of the things that I do not like. When I was able to talk to them, I was talking to foreign people and I could barely understand what they were saying. It was very frustrating. Other than that, RushCard can be a good experience for people who can't get a regular bank account. It's also very convenient to be able to pay my bills from home rather than going to the location if I can't get out. I also get my check two days early and I don't carry cash so it's helpful.

    This is worst company ever. I put 615 on the card and have proof the money went on the card, had a system error even with receipt and recording and shows my balance was 633 but it never fully process over. So now I am out 615 out and RushCard stole my money. I have bills that I have to paid and you are warned. This company is a crook. I have no rent or car payment. So because of their error I going to have late fees.

    I've been with RushCard a few years because of early deposit. Walmart.com did not have my item available. Walmart sent a letter stating they would not charge us because goods not provided. RushCard still refuse to release our funds! Consequently my children did not get their gifts for Christmas! Thanks RushCard for ruining my Christmas! I will be switching to NetSpend. They provide much better customer service.

    A friend of mine told me about RushCard back in 2005. I got it and put my direct deposit on it for my job. Sometimes I get my paycheck a day or two earlier, and that's always a plus. It's convenient too. What I don't like is when I go to certain places like the nail salon or a gas pump and I get charged $32, for example, they take off $43 and then put the balance back once the $30-some is paid to that place. It's new as I never had that happen. I called, complained, and asked what if I needed that extra $12 to do something else?

    The rep argued with me and told me that it's always been that way, but I told him I was a customer for years and it hasn't been something that they've always done. So now, what I do is just pay for the gas and swipe the card in the store, or even take the money off. I'm about to switch and open a regular bank account. RushCard can start giving their long-time customer some type of appreciation because I've been with them for years. When I hear people complaining about them and saying all kinds of crazy stuff, I still stayed with them.

Typically Gas stations in particular will have signage posted discussing what their merchant hold policy is. This is true for all card companies and is simply an assurance to the merchant to ensure the cardholder has the funds.     I had RushCard for quite some time. I like it because I have direct deposit and normally, I'm paid on a Thursday but I get my money in my account on a Tuesday. But when I attempt a money order in the post office, it declines. RushCard is not the only one having that issue. We've also had issues with the Apple Bank and Chase Bank debit cards. I work for the United States Postal Office and we found a way to override that. Then a year ago, we couldn't load the card. It was going through some transition. A couple of my colleagues were telling me that people lost money with Rush. It got a lot of negative press pertaining to Russell Simmons. I never heard about it but people were talking about it. But personally, I didn't experience that and I'm pleased with the service. I constantly use it for purchases though I don't use it to save money.

    The only good thing about RushCard is that you may get your funds a day or two early. Other than that I really wouldn't recommend RushCard to anyone. They put holds and blocks on your account for the smallest unnecessary reasons. I've been behind on bills and were late on bills just because they put holds on my account. They don't care about your situation and will hold your money no matter what it is that you have to do. Unless you use the card for recreational use it's fine but this is not something you would want to have all of your funds on because you have no control of your money, meaning if something happens you are ** out of luck and have to wait on their time for your money to be released.

    Not to mention I've been a RushCard customer since 2014 but their procedures are totally **. Like for example I bought a item online from Walmart with the card and cancelled the order the next day. Walmart refunded my money but RushCard put a block on my whole card saying I have to fax or upload a receipt. Not to mention my paycheck and other funds I had on there were also blocked. Instead of them putting a hold on just the Walmart transaction they put a hold on all of my money making me late on bills and risking eviction. They told me once I faxed the info from Walmart in it would take 1 to 2 days to be reviewed then it would take a additional 1 to 2 business days for my card to be unblocked. The way they go about things is just crazy. I give RushCard 0 stars and repeat I don't recommend.

    I like Rushcard. I have been with them for years and I liked it when they sent the pink Baby Phat card. Everything I had was Baby Phat. I really love Baby Phat and the Baby Phat system and tried to get every color. I got the card wherein they take $8 every month but I didn't know about it. When I put some money on there to pay one of my telephone bills, they took the money off. So, I called and changed that program. One of their reps actually explained to me that with the card that I was using, they're going to take out $7.95 or $8 a month but I didn't have to pay every time I swipe my card.

    I've been saving money with my card and using it every once in a while. I've been paying a couple of bills with it as well. I have COPD and fibromyalgia and have a couple of friends out of town that send me money on my Rushcard so I can pay a bill or the medicine or in case I might need it for something. The people at Rushcard are courteous and able to answer my questions every time, and that's what I like about Rushcard. I had a problem in the past but they tried to explain it to me. One of the representatives had a different accent and I couldn't understand her. They're dealing with customer service but we ought to give some respect to what they're doing as they were doing a good job.

    Maybe Rushcard can consider making credit cards instead of just debit. It's good for them to be credit cards because a lot of times with the debit card, one can't do a lot of things. For example, even though they don't want debit cards, I still can rent cars because they know me at the rental car place. I'm considering getting a credit card because of that but Rushcard are still doing a wonderful job. Russell got a good thing going.

    No matter how big or small our money is, it is our business. This world runs on money and people want their money because they earned it. I have been a RushCard member since 2009. I understand RushCard is under new management that have made my life difficult these past few weeks. First, the customer service line has been obstructed with numerous prompts to avoid you to speak to a live person when you're under distress about a financial issues. Then your system holds transactions for 3 to 5 days in pending status after the merchant gives a cancellation and post a refund. This new horrible company do not have the information for the bill payer (Me) to verify the address to where you are sending your bills to.

    It will take Quote: "RushCard has recently updated our automated telephone system with several great new features! If you call our toll-free number, please pay careful attention to the new menu prompts to ensure that you choose the correct option. You will receive a response to your inquiry within 12 hours." My issue is minor compared to the numerous people who have suffered with this management change (Horrible).

    I need money returned back to my card A.S.A.P. I talked to the merchant and they verified the money was returned to my pre-paid card on the same day. New company do not have a valid phone number to address this issue. I have asked that they verify with the merchant and return the money as soon as possible. I say pre-paid card because a real credit card company and or bank would have a live agent to handle this situation promptly and would not let this pending charge stay on my account when the merchant has clearly submitted the refund.

    The company before who made me stay a dedicated member since 2009 always resolved my issues with respect and promptness. I never felt like my money was being held hostage. I am not please and never interested in the Netspend business practices. I was very upset when they became the new provider of the Rush card. This has been the worst experience since they came along. I look forward not using this card soon.

    I’ve been with Rushcard for a while now, and it's been an awesome service. I get my taxes on there, so it’s pretty helpful. And I like how I can manage my money on the mobile app. I love it. They’re able to help me right away. I lose my password a lot and they help me to change it. If I lose it or it’s stolen, they deactivate it and send out another one. Of course there are costs, but it’s worth it. They are doing a good job and I recommend them.

    Every year there is a breach, where RushCard holders get screwed over by criminals with bank fraud activity. The worse part of that RushCard doesn't care and will not refund our money back because they have incompetent reps that doesn't know their job. No matter how clear the dispute is, they always decline it and make it hard for you to get your own money back but they make it so easy for criminals to rob you.

    Here's another lawsuit the CFLS will pick up, because this is ridiculous. Every year between November and February we have to get new cards because of criminals. The customer service is horrible where the people don't even know what they are saying, they don't know the process, they lie about processes. They don't know their procedures. They have the perfect customer tone but don't know how to truly assist or resolve banking problems. Worse experience ever. I should have been closed my accounts, last few years have been worse than before.

    Updated on 1/12/2017: This company has the worse customer service ever. It's been 45 days and my dispute is still not resolved. While speaking to a manager he gonna say, "First of all we don't have control of your transactions." WHAT MANAGER SAYS FIRST OF ALL TO A CUSTOMER WHO HAD BEEN WITH THE COMPANY FOR OVER 10 YEARS? I'm tired of the bull. They still charging fees and want me to use the card but yet my money is not safe with this card. They say they protected but they are not. I want my money back from this fraudulent transaction.

    I've been a Rushcard holder for ten years and have been using it for our budget but there was an incident almost three years ago, in which I'm still mad about. They had blocked my card once for fraud, which was understandable. Then they tried to charge me $25 to rush my card to me when I didn’t lose it. I also told them not to send the card to my house several times because I was out of state with my children but they still sent it to my home. I only had $25 on me that time and I had to ask somebody for gas to get me to where I was going.

    Then when I got to my location, I didn’t have my card so I had to depend on people. Rushcard had to wait for the card to come back to their location in order to mail me another card, which they mailed the second one to the wrong address again. This was right around Thanksgiving when I was out with my family and we couldn't enjoy ourselves. My kids wanted to get on a train ride but I had to limit what they wanted to do. I was totally pissed off about it. And Rushcard acted like they were not sympathetic. I called around but nobody could help me. They can only send an email to somebody that could do something. That has been the worst experience, other than my direct deposit not posting one time. I even wrote to Russell Simmons on Facebook to help me but he didn’t respond. He should have forwarded my concern to the right people that could help me.

    I don't have to interact with them often, but when I do, it’s not always good. One time, I needed to reset my password and they couldn’t reset it. They have no control over anything. They always try to ask somebody else to do stuff. It was ridiculous. Since then, I don't put much money on that card. I put a little bit of my direct deposit on there and pay a couple of bills. That way, it doesn’t overdraft my checking account. Rushcard needs to do something about their customer service, have more control of all these third party, who can't do this and that, and not following instructions, and supervisors who leave the clients on the phone for an hour and a half, or never call back. The only reason why I put my money on the card is because I get paid two days early. But other companies do the same now.

    My payroll is on my Rushcard and I love it. Since 2011 of using it, it helps out a whole lot. I don’t carry cash and the money that's on the card is what I can spend which is a good thing. Plus, my direct deposit goes straight in the card. I also pay bills using the card and I can get 1200 off the card at one time. That's a big plus when I have large purchases. Furthermore, everybody at Rushcard is professional and very courteous when I call. Everything is good plus the card including their colors looked pretty. I want to get some more so I can change up.

    RushCard is okay until there's a dispute. I’ve had situations that occur with my card and the money. I've been a member for a very long time, and my children have their own cards as well. And whenever there’s a situation with a dispute, RushCard would hold the money. Even if it's a pending transaction that went through, they would not reimburse the money. I had to go through this long drawn out process which can take months and then they would still take the decision to not even refund the money. I've had that done to me quite a few times. The only reason why I still work with RushCard is because I get my money early.

    One incident was when I went to an ATM to withdraw money but the ATM did not give me the money. I don't know if it was out or what the case may have been, but the money was taken from my account. So when I showed proof that I've never received the money, RushCard gave me my money back. But after I reviewed everything, they took the money again from me. And then I had a situation recently where my car rental people mistakenly charged me twice and it showed ‘pending’ on RushCard's end. When I called the car rental place, they said, “Well, we haven’t received the money. But since it’s showing as pending, call your bank to have them stop it.” And when I did that, RushCard told me that they couldn’t do it.

    Rush card playing with my money. My baby father did a money gram transfer to my card at 6:46 am and it is now 12:32 and no money has came to my card as of yet. I called and called and called and all they can tell me is to be patient. I'm so frustrated.

    I loved RushCard until I start referring friends. On the first 3 I got my 30 dollars immediately. Now I referred over 6 more people. 3 of them already received their card activated and loaded money to the cards and my credits still haven't been applied. I'm currently getting ready to sue for false advertisement!

    I needed a direct deposit and didn't have a bank account back then, so RushCard was convenient for me and I liked the way their card looked. I was trying to get myself back together and it has absolutely helped me with my finances. I'm an early Rushcard user, so we had to call them before to have my money transfers, but now they're automated and I couldn't see them. Even when they updated the app, I am still having some issues. But they're always courteous and able to help me.

    Over the years they've given people the opportunity to be able to feel like having a real bank account. I've never had a problem with it being accepted anywhere. They also have an incentives program that they send out through text messages, which is commendable because they don't just ask to put money on the card, unlike some prepaid cards that have a whole bunch of nonsense, including fees, that goes with them. I've recommended RushCard and several people got the card already.

    I love the fact that I can get my paycheck early, but I hate the fact that I can’t get a hold of anybody whenever there’s a problem with my card. And whenever it is an actual nationwide problem with the card, they don’t have any answer for you even when you’re missing your money. Whenever they’re not able to help me, they have an attitude or they would say, “Oh, well, everybody’s having this problem so there’s nothing we can do. We’ll call you back later or call us back.” And I never ever receive a call back or a follow-up whenever I request it. They’re not very consistent.

    I have been with RushCard since July 2016. I also have had banking accounts, the perk for this card was getting my monies early. In the beginning I was in love, monies coming 2 days early, always getting someone on the phone once I figured out the trick to do it. But recently I have been very disappointed, why the foreigners cannot speak English, every word is engulfed in all the tongue twirling and they read from a script. My problem is being with a card all these years showing loyalty and I cannot get it back. I have to fight for MY MONEY. If I call and say that I want to dispute, or that I wasn't satisfied or whatever reason why do I have to walk through burning fire with gasoline underwear for MY MONEY.

    I am sure that there are kick backs for holding monies but damn can I have my money, can I pay my bills, or help my children or even buy me a Coca-Cola. My money should be released back to me. I am sad today, not because my situation that was given to me have caused me to use RC but what hurts me is I can leave. I am held hostage because I want my money and validation that you do appreciate me for being a loyal customer - prove it. Answer the damn phone. Release my money. My card ends in **. My boyfriend used his card to pay the bill!!!

    I got Rushcard when I was working in Houston, Texas. I've had it for years, but my experience hasn't been good for the last few months. Everybody seems to get my card number, and I don't get notification. I don't know if I haven’t set up a notification if someone's using my number. I'm retired and don't really go anywhere. So if it's used and I'm not using it, then I won't know until I actually go to try to purchase something because I don't have a notification. But for this last time when I went to try to pay my rent, all of my money was taken off my card. The people at Rushcard gave me all the information and asked me to file a report. They told me that they would cancel the card for me and send me another card. But there’s not a notice when I would be able to get my reimbursement. So I'm in limbo right now. I love my Rushcard, but I've had too many incidents. And it's heartbreaking.

    I've been with Rushcard since 2005, back when they started, and I've got my salary on there. The only thing I don’t like is when somebody uses my card, I have to wait to get my money. They have to send me a paper for me to fill out and then they’ll go and put my money back. At the banks, they’ll give my money right on and take it from the merchant and the merchant won’t get paid. Other than that, Rushcard has been good, and I will recommend them.

    I heard about RushCard through a friend. In the beginning when they were using Chase Manhattan Bank, I haven't had a problem with them. My paychecks have always been directly deposited to their card. It's just since they switched over to MetaBank that it's been nothing but problems. Last year, I got paid and went shopping in Nashville. However, somebody in Illinois is also shopping with my card at the same time. Somehow, they got my information and wiped my whole paycheck out. I had to wait like 10 days to get my money back.

    I'm also really mad with RushCard because they took $165 off my card and when I disputed it, they're telling me that it's wrong, but it's not. I've been dealing with them since 2004. Any time I use my card, it automatically deducts away from my balance. On November 6, I used my card at Quality Inn Hotel and paid $105. It was deducted away from my balance and that was from my very first paycheck in November. Then on November 18th, I used my card again to pay Quality Inn $60.13. It was deducted away from my balance that was part of my second paycheck.

    Quality Inn held out before they push the actual transactions through until November the 30th, which was the same night that I got paid again. So when they pushed the transactions through on November 30th, they deducted the money from my November 30th check. I wondered how that was possible since they already deducted those away from my other two checks earlier. Even if Quality Inn waited to push the transaction through, RushCard still deducted this money away from my account but never returned it. Hence, they still should have had it in the pending status so when they pushed the transactions through, they was already there for them to clear out instead of taking them away from my balance again.

    So I sent a dispute form, and they're telling me that it's not correct and that I need to dispute this with Quality Inn. I've already done that before, I even called RushCard to file a dispute. I'm actually still at Quality Inn because this is where I stay temporarily, so I've already talked to them and seen the paperwork. Those are the only two transactions that I had issues which haven't cleared in my account.

    If RushCard already deducted the transactions and didn't return them back to me, where's the money? Their representative said they paid Quality Inn twice for that transaction. But they didn't. I ended up asking two different times to speak with a supervisor. When I did, it's like they're not listening. I even walked through each alert with them so they can show me where they refunded the $105 and $60.13 but neither of the supervisors can tell me. In the end, they said it was Quality Inn's problem even though they deducted $165 away from my account in three different transactions.

    I worked in customer care for one of the largest cellphone companies in the United States. I just don't like that half of the people in RushCard don't understand what I'm talking about. How can they explain something to me when they can't even understand what I'm telling them? I know all companies outsource to different countries. But when dealing with somebody's paycheck, I would prefer to talk to somebody that understands what I'm explaining. They're also a little rude sometimes.

    My payday is on a Friday. My payroll deposited my funds at 1am Friday morning. It is now Saturday morning and still no funds. Called customer service who informed me that my money should be available Monday morning. This is unacceptable. I have bills that are due before Monday which could leave me sitting in the cold without car insurance. Without a way to get to work. I'm so very upset with RushCard and I have been a customer since 2012. This is the second time RushCard has put me in a bind after money post. I will close my account with them.

    We had a problem at one time when our money was on hold. They got me down saying I've got four cards when I don't have four. But other than that, I'm satisfied with RushCard. I have been able to manage my finances better with it because I ain't gonna worry about overdrafts.     On October 28th 2016 I made two deposit to my RushCard. One for $500 and the other one for $120. On the 29th I made a payment to the company for $617. On October 31st Rushcard took the money back from the company that I paid the $617 to and did not put that money back into my account. Where is my money? RushCard I want my money. Someone working at Rushcard is stealing I do believe. Then they sent that company a letter stating they did a chargeback. So if Rushcard did a chargeback why didn't they credit my account back? Customer service is foreign workers. Why would they send the company a letter informing them of the chargeback and yet didn't inform me of anything like it's their money and I didn't exist.

    Russell Simmons will you please give me back my money and hire bonded Americans to run your business. I am disabled with a once a month income and was paying a bill to allow me to get an apartment of my own. I can't wait 90 days for a dispute. I would like a provisional temporary credit to my account for the $617.00 until you all find my money you were responsible for. RushCard has given me 5 different ticket numbers for this 1 claim. The info I've submitted to them is here, there and everywhere. I am not a happy camper and will do whatever it takes to get my money back.

    I've had RushCard for eight years now, and the only reason I stay with them is because I'm getting the direct deposit early. Otherwise, I probably would not stay with them. I get half of my paycheck deposited on there and the other half in the bank. But I've been struggling trying to stay with RushCard because lately there's been a lot of problems. My biggest issue is customer service. I can't resolve anything or get a clear answer, or even get in contact with who I need to get in touch with. I haven't been happy with them lately. When I call the 800 number, there's not an option to talk to anyone. I have to play around and manipulate the system. To finally go in, I have to act like I'm reporting my card lost or stolen. That's when I'll finally get someone. So if someone's in an emergency situation and they need to access them, they can't.

    Because we needed our money asap to pay bills and get food etc, we opted to put my husband's direct deposit into my account because of the 2 days sooner feature (the only good thing the company offers) and in the meantime we applied to get him his own card. When I had my own direct deposit set to my RushCard, it was normal for me to get paid on Tuesday the week of payday. So when Tuesday came, I called to inquire why we hadn't got paid yet. It takes forever to get in touch with someone. But when we finally got in touch with someone they said nothing was pending to my account... which immediately worried me. My husband told me not to worry but women’s intuition.

    I called Wednesday and was told the same thing. I was advised by them to just wait until Friday. But I know something was wrong, so I called back the following day. They told me they sent the money back to his employer! And that it would take 3-5 business days! Then when it got to his employer they'd have to process it! So it can take up to 2-4 weeks for us to get OUR money back. No one from RushCard called us to ask if the payment was mine or not! They said they returned the payment because it wasn't in my name! I've never heard of this before. No other bank has given me this issue. I told them we can't pay our bills because of the mistake they made, and they said it's nothing they can do.

    Smh so now we have no food, jackets for winter, can't pay our bills etc. They literally could care less! This is so sad. I'm not going to stop until justice is served. No one should have to go thru this. When this is all over I'm immediately cancelling my account. I’ll just have to wait until Friday like I used to do. RushCard is terrible and out of line for doing this. Then when I talked to supervisors they hung up in my face numerous times because they don't want to take blame... Terrible. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Ever...

    My husband and I had a spat, so he called Rushcard and told them I made an unauthorized transfer from his card to mine. So they immediately cancelled his card and issued another one. They also blocked my card (no access at all). So an hour later he cooled off and called them back. He said they told him the hold would be lifted in less than 48 hours. However, I called back the next morning to find out what was going on and I was told by two different reps it could take up to 90 days. I asked for corporate's number and they told me that they don't have that number because they communicate internally. So now our money is just floating in the wind.

    I have been with RushCard since November 2005 and this is the first time I've had to complain. On November 23rd I had five unauthorized transaction taken out of my card. I notified RushCard immediately, unfortunately the customer service received was not at all helpful. When I advised customer service of the unauthorized charges I was put on hold several times for a total of 45 minutes to be told I needed to call back in the morning to file a dispute. I not only filed a dispute but I also filed a police report that was approved and is being investigated. I have yet to receive a status update on my dispute and my money has not been refunded on my card. I tried to call and find out the status. I can never get a representative. My call continues to be disconnected. This is absolutely the worst customer service I have received and I am in disbelief that after being a customer since 2005 my claim is being handle so poorly.

    Rushcard never works with me. I have been with them for years, I keep thinking they'll change but they never do! We had my husband's direct deposit put in my card and they are rejecting it. Saying it will take 3-5 business days to get it back! This is the money we need to pay our bills with! This is just one situation among many, we are contacting an attorney tomorrow and suing them for everything we have gone through because they don't want to work with a loyal customer!

    I received a RushCard as a birthday gift; I am not interested in this card and simply want a refund. I have contacted the company via telephone, email and written correspondence to no avail. It is next to impossible to speak with a representative when you try to contact the company. I have provided the requested information and as of today's date I am still waiting for the phone call. I have requested a refund for over a month via phone, email and correspondence; I have not received the refund as today's date. The two weeks refund period has elapsed. I am at a loss. I can be reached during the hours of 8 and 6 p.m weekly. I am truly at a loss! This is not good customer service.

    I have been with RushCard since 2007. My direct deposits are all over the place. Never two days before payday and very, very, very rarely one day before payday. Recently, my payday fell on a holiday and I wasn't paid before the holiday but I was promised the next business day afterwards. Which fell on a Monday. I was suppose to go out of town and of course pay my bills. No one in customer service cared they all said it's on Metabank. It's the next business day and I'm still waiting. This is getting me into more financial trouble and I am beyond upset.

    This company has poor customer support. A toll free number that is automated. No real person to talk to. Emailing is like pulling teeth! They can't seem to find your account even when you send them information such as last 4 numbers of your account, name, last 4 numbers of your SSN! I sent 5 emails and get the same response. They can't find your info. My card expired and I asked for a new card. I can't pay my bills online until I get a new card and activate it! A automated email was sent saying a new card will be mailed. And how long will that take? Most companies send new cards early to avoid a deactivated card. Poor customer support, POOR!

    I have never had such a horrible experience with any other company. I was very happy with the product and even made many referrals until I actually had a problem. I was treated horribly by customer service and when I asked for the corporate number they refused to give it to me. I also called late in the evening because that is the only time I was available and I was told I couldn't be helped over the weekend and had to call back on Monday morning. I was left an entire weekend with no access to my money. I am very disappointed in the service and am pulling out all of my finances in the near future.

    I called just to dispute a charge on my account. The girl told me it was policy to cancel your card when you dispute a charge. I told her that I couldn't cancel my card right then because I had a direct deposit coming the next day and needed my money for bills and kids. She didn't care and canceled my card anyway. Then they charged me $30 to send me an expedited card.

    I've been a RushCard holder since May and I like that I get to view my transactions on my phone, instead of having to keep calling my card to see how much money I have in my account. I don’t have to keep getting worried if I could pay a bill because I don’t have enough money and I can see if I could pay for the next two weeks. I have a car note and if I use my other debit card, I would have to keep calling it. But with my RushCard, I can see how much I have to put down ahead of time. Using Rushcard for to pay bills or make online purchases is very convenient.

    I use the direct deposit option. I've used a reload location once and it was very easy. My check went right into my account and they go via 720. They notify me through a text message or send to my email address that my money has been deposited to my account. They also let me know when I’m very low on my account. So it’s good. When somebody stole my card, I had no problems with them canceling it and they sent me another one. I would definitely recommend RushCard.

    You guys deposit money two days early and that is the only benefit. The only ATM you can use without fees is the one at Walmart and honestly that one is down 70% of the time. You guys are the absolute worst banking company in America and Russell Simmons you should be ashamed of yourself. You portray yourself as a hero/champion of the ** community yet you take advantage of minorities at every single turn. Let's face it. That is who you advertise.

    You're blood sucking cards too. I have had a hold on my card for 7 days for some gas that I never even pumped. Plus getting through to your "24/7" customer care is a complete joke. Every single damn time I call I have to fake like I lost my card or that I am disputing a claim in order to get through to the same Indian lady. Who must be your only customer service employee because that is who I talk to every single time I call!

    I have literally deposit 4-5k in that damn account every month and y'all unappreciated jerks over at RushCard have pushed me to the brink! American Express serve offers $0 fees to people who deposit over $500 into their account. They also are available every single time I call in. So tell Russell Simmons he lost a fan and customer for life! Holla TF BACK. Today is Oct 27 and they have this gas transaction on hold since Oct 20th. Keep in mind they hold a ridiculous amount for an arbitrary length of time whenever you use this card for gas. Save yourself the headache and get an American Express serve.

    After several years with the ups and down of RushCard I'm calling it quits. My direct deposit is so inconsistent. Hardly ever am I paid 2 days sooner. It's more like 1 day sooner and if that's the case I can actually wait for my regular payday and not worry about inconsistencies. RushCard is not rushing to get me paid. I'm disappointed because I tried to support this company and the Customer Service is worse.

    I heard pretty much through word of mouth that RushCard is a good card and I've been a RushCard holder for about four years. I used scheduled payments, and then the email and text alerts let me know if the balance is too low so that helps a lot. Furthermore, the direct deposits are submitted on time. Most of the time, when I call, their reps are very friendly and helpful. However, I notice that when I'm getting a refund on my card, sometimes it takes from 20 plus to 24 hours to see the transaction come back on the card. If they can improve that, that would be great. Otherwise, I'm okay with everything else and would recommend them.

On the other hand, when you speak to the customer service representative when you lose your card or you need special attention, they can't do anything always.     I've been with RushCard for a while now. I even toughed it out during the whole account freezing issue that was all over the news a year back. I lowered my amount deposited in order to avoid such an issue. I love the early deposit, and the how transactions are taken in real time, not leaving items pending. I started raising my deposit amount again. And the last 3 weeks have been great! Till this week. Had the whole check deposited. Of course there it goes...     My account placed on hold that wasn't what I was upset about. What I was a said about was I was unable for the life of me to get a hold of customer service due to their automated system. I was finally able to figure it out after about two and a half weeks of frustration.     Not satisfied with the service. There are fees for almost everything. You charge a monthly fee and I'm not sure what the fees are for. There are very few atms that are fee free. Customer service is not good either. Agents are reading from scripts and never answer questions fully. Also many agents do not speak english which can also be a reason as to why they do not answer your questions, they don't understand what you are asking. Improvements needed everywhere.

    I have been trying for months (Since July!!) to get a fraudulent charge removed from my account. The vendor that the charge came from being unwilling to work with me, I decided to go through my bank who should be on my side to support me in these matters.     I have been a member since 2004. My account was recently debited wrongfully for a huge amount. RushCard did not try and help me get my money back. Most of the people I spoke with were very rude and really didn't seem to care. I had to take matters in my own hands. Didn't get my money back for 2 weeks. In the meantime I had services shut off and a eviction. I changed my card and they assured me it wouldn't happen again and sure enough a month later by the same company it happened. I have since then decided to not use my RushCard account for my payroll deposit. Not a good company to protect what's yours.

    I've had RushCard for a couple months now. I do get paid every Wednesday instead of Fridays, but I don't get paid until late afternoon. Here's the thing, when I first got RushCard I expected to get paid on Wednesday in the morning. But no. My paycheck was posted at exactly 1:50 pm every Wednesday for weeks. Now they started paying me at 3pm every Wednesday. I sit and anxiously wait all day for my money. Because I have lots of bills to pay. It's a shame they hold your money and post it onto your card whenever they feel like it.

    Also another terrible thing is they HAVE NO LIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES. I can never get a live person; and on the phone there is not even an option to speak to customer service. I remember one time I called and the voicemail said "We are updating our system. Call back another time" and hung up. Smh. I just think it's a shame I have to wait all day for my money...

    RushCard had an offer that if you downloaded their app and cash a check through Ingo Money through said app, that they would deposit 10$ into my account, well I did all that was asked and have not had 10$ bonus deposited to my card! I've made several attempts to contact and haven't got a response at all, made at least 4 attempts to contact in the last two weeks and no word back, nothing! Only issue I've had, otherwise love the RushCard, but when it comes to the bonuses they don't come through. This is not the first time, last year I referred two friends and was supposed to have 50$ deposited for each and never had that deposited either and when contacted no response. So it's just the same thing with RushCard, you do what is asked to receive the bonus and they fail to deposit to account! Not sure I'm ever gonna refer anyone again.

    I've been with RushCard since 2004 and I've had two cards from them. I went with them because back then they offered the early deposit and I liked Kimora Lee's pretty cards. I use it in paying all of my bills which is more convenient than going to the actual place. Also, it prevents me from going into negative whenever I got zero balance.     I recently was referred by my friend for a RushCard. She sent me her link and I signed up under it and used her referral code. I load the $20 on my card that I had to pay $3.95 to Walmart and $3.95 to RushCard. Then they don't get me or my friend the $30!! I called after a half hour of trying to talk to a human. I was told that I didn't use her referral code!!! Which is untrue because you can't complete the signup without it (You get an error)!     I have been with the company for over eight years. Problems here and there but not like this. I've spoken with 8 representatives from Rushcard and I keep getting lied too about when my money will be released. I had one representative named Eduardo say he saw documents that weren't even there and to call back at 3:00 pm so that my two hundred and twenty-six dollars can be released only to find out it couldn't be released because no document was on my account. I was told that the hold will be lifted 3 - 5 business days. Then I'm told today it could take 35 days. I asked for the number for corporate only to be told there is no telephone number for corporate. I don't know about Mr. Russell Simmons but I need my money. I can't move in with him if my bills aren't paid because RUSHCARD representatives can't get their crap right. Such a rip-off. Shame on you Mr. Simmons. Return my money and you can have your card!

    This is the second time that upon making a transaction, that my recipe said the price charged and my alert reported an larger amount.     I found out about Rushcard years ago when an old co-worker texted me about how quickly she got her paycheck and I got mine a lot later than her's. So, I thought if I can get the money earlier, why not? I manage everything a little bit better since I started using my Rushcard.     I have had a Rushcard since 2007 and never had an issue receiving my pay. I noticed that the deposit started appearing later and later. Since my paydays are on Fridays I just let it go. But today is actually payday and still nothing has posted to my account. This is why I stopped my entire check from going to Rush and I am thinking about shutting my card down completely. Customer service never can tell you any information. I signed up for 2 more cards one for my usage and another for my son to use to order sneakers offline but at this rate, my bank is doing better than Rush. My money posted at 3am through Bank of America. Someone needs to post the rest of my paycheck ASAP, and I know it's been received especially since I work for a bank.

    I have called Rushcard for approximately 2 weeks for replacement card. Never received 1st on the mail, my paycheck, direct deposits. Couldn't even access my money. Called Sept 8th in for another complaint of no card. This time I get my card expedited and it's a fee. Finally receive my card by FedEx and it a old card that was sent to me with my old acct number, so another direct deposit coming in soon and I still can't access my funds to pay my bills.     I right now hate RUSHCARD! I had two unauthorized transactions that were done while I was home (with card in my possession) and found out when I received the text message notifications!! One was for $2.00 and the other was for $200. I did all the steps to get my hard earned money back by filing police report and all the paperwork requested. My case was denied so I appealed it and my appeal was denied as well! Do not use this for service unless you really need it and cannot open a bank account. It is not secure at all. I just had $200 stolen from me and will never get it back from these people.     I was looking for a way to deposit my paychecks without going to a currency exchange type of deal, and that's when I found RushCard. It lets me keep track, and gives me the freedom to have my money on a card as opposed to having cash in my pocket. I can get the cash off if I needed that. If not, then it's there. It's like having a bank account when, at a time, I wasn't able to get one. I put money there if I need to, and still get some funds directly deposited as well. One benefit that I have had is deposits come earlier. So if I was supposed to get paid on a Friday, as opposed to waiting on a Friday, then my money would be there that Thursday evening sometimes. It's also very easy to make online purchases.

    Their team has been pleasant. One reason why I've kept it for so long is because I've never had a bad interaction with them. I have moved from Illinois to Missouri, and now back to Illinois, and never had a problem as far as changing address. However, if there's credit reporting it should show that I've been a customer for this number of years. It would show the money that's been in there, and show a very good record, but since its prepaid, they don't offer that feature.

    If my deposit comes early I get charged in that month. Then if I have leave money on my card then come a couple days later they charge me a fee again it's almost like I'm paying two monthly fees. Not enough customer service reps takes forever to get through to someone, and when they system messes up or a problem arises the customer pays for the screw up because you won't be able to communicate the problem with anyone. The communication is not good when it comes to people money.

    I heard RushCard was pretty good and I've been a RushCard holder since 2010. So far, so good and I've never had any complaints with them. I use it to get my disability check and I get it two days earlier and that's a big plus. I like knowing that my money is there. I withdraw the money then pay bills and it's convenient. I've never had any problems and if I’ve had a dispute, they’ve always solved it upfront. I use the reload and they send a thing to my credit bureau. I called the customer service one time because my money was supposed to be there and the girl said, "Hold on just a minute. Let me look. It will be posting within the hour." She could see it and said it just hadn’t hit yet because it was so busy. Then 20 minutes later, my money was there. They're always very helpful when I call.

    I wish it was easier to change my last name on there. They want so much information and I don't have a computer. They said I could do other things, but I don't know where my marriage license is and I'm getting ready to get a divorce. But they seemed to be real helpful knowing that my last name was going to be changed again. So they're not really on me about changing my last name. I'm happy with my service and I always recommend them to my friends. I always tell anybody who can't have a bank account to go with RushCard because they're good.

We love that we get our checks 2 days early and have never really had an issue until recently, we called about our notifications when our cards are used for just our daily balances.     I lost my card and didn't realize it til payday. I really needed my pay that day for an important bill that needed paid that day. I was locked out of my account because it said the password was wrong and I didn't have my card number due to the card being lost so I couldn't transfer my money to a friend's RushCard to access my money til my new card came. I read on RushCard website an express cash option. I was willing to pay the $30 to receive my money the same day. Well I called customer service. They were unable to help change my password I understand for security reasons. But without a card you can't change it so I really think that should be changed to a different way to change your password or at least give a second option.

    Express cash also has to be approved and was told it's only approved in case of an emergency. Well it was an emergency but was still denied. What I don't understand is if it's my money and I'm willing to pay $30 to receive my money why should it have to be approved or even an emergency. You can't buy another card to transfer your funds right away so you have to wait 7-10 days for a new card unless you pay for express delivery. They also can not transfer money from your card to another card manually. You have to do it from your account which I couldn't access.

    I have never had any problems with RushCard until this day. I have always been satisfied. I have been a customer for years. A few changes could make the experience worth staying a customer in cases like mine that day. Being able to purchase a new card in a store like Green Dot cards to be able to transfer funds if you lose your card. The express cash should be a definite way of receiving your money while waiting on a new card since you can not purchase one. Password reset should have a second option to change it. Customer service should be able to manually transfer funds to another card if you cannot access your account. I must have called ten times that day asking about different options to be able to access my funds and waiting on an answer for express cash which was denied anyway.

    I did finally get a customer service agent who knew the urgency of me needing my money and offered to waive the fee for express delivery since which was very nice of him but the two day wait was too late for what I needed to do. I am still a customer but will be having my direct deposit switched over to a regular bank where I can walk in if I need my money. I will miss the early access to my pay but after the situation I realize I need to always have access to my money in cases of emergencies like that day.

    I was very displeased with RushCard. It ate up my balance with unknown fees. I was charged a fee when I transferred funds from one RushCard to another. I will be closing my card after my new account is verified with my employer and will NEVER use or recommend this card to ANYONE.     I went to a gas station in August 25th to get 25 dollars worth of gas. The gas station put a hold of 76 on my account. 10 days later I don't have my money and every customer service rep I have spoken to has a different answer. I have spoke to RushCard 5 times In the past week and each rep has given me a different date that my money would be available to withdraw. No one is helping. No one is investigating. I've used RushCard for 2 years. As soon as I get my money back I am done with RushCard. I will never use them again. The reps aren't in the USA and don't speak English as their first language and clearly don't believe in assisting the customer. One rep refused to give me a supervisor. I called the gas station who said the bank would have to release my money and that they would not be able to help me. DO NOT GET A RUSHCARD!!!

    I was in the hospital back here in June of 2016 and someone got a hold of my RushCard and took my whole disability check off without me knowing. I contacted RushCard and they're saying there is nothing they can do. Also the SS office will not resend me my check. I'm telling y'all don't use this prepaid card company cause they will keep your money and you can't do nothing about it. I sent in all the info they asked for and this is how they do me. I'm glad I went over to NetSpend now.

    I have been a member with Rushcard since 2004. I have so many bad experiences with Rushcard that I would not recommend anyone use this card. First, their customer service is absolutely horrible. I have had my card hacked into and money taken and I was suppose to receive a text message for every transaction performed. Also, their computers are always down as well or updating so deposits are delayed. I put money on my card and my balance did not reflect the correct amount. I called on this matter four different times and emails have been sent to corporate all four times but no response on fixing the matter nor have my money been credited back on my card. Every time I call the problem still hasn't been fixed. I repeat, do not use Rushcard!!!

    I have used the RushCard for 1 year. For some reason the upgrade issue was too bad for me. However, the 2 day early thing is an overstatement. Yes you get paid 2 days earlier technically. But if your pay day is Friday the 2 days earlier would be Wednesday. However, it's around 3:30 when the funds are deposited and the overseas call center is poor. RushCard is all right if you just have to have direct deposit but the particulars like calling customer service and dealing with the overseas call center is the pits. I had fraud on my card. It's been 2 weeks. All required paperwork has been submitted. Still no resolution.

    I've been with RushCard since 2014. The best part in using RushCard is that the direct deposit hits sooner than a normal bank. However I have had two bad experiences with them. One time I ordered something online and never got my item. I called RushCard and they said I got to send in a form, and it takes up to 30 days for them to proceed to do an investigation over that stuff. If I have a regular bank it doesn't take that long. If I don't get my item, they will cancel the transaction and keep it moving.

    Right now, I have a pending credit card payment on my account for $81 for somebody that I've ordered from and I ordered on Monday. They still have yet to take the money out of my account. They haven't sent me an email confirmation and it's been a week. I don't even want the item anymore. I want my money back but RushCard is making me wait 10 days just to see if they take the money out of my account.

    I can't get in touch with the company that I ordered from because they're not answering the phone. I don't have a way to get in touch with the company. It would be better for me to go through my bank since I wouldn't have to wait 10 days. They haven't taken it out of my account yet and it's still pending which means I still have the money, so RushCard should be able to release the hold. Another issue I had with RushCard is when my money was missing on my account. I don't know what happened with that but other than that it's been fine.

    I've been using RushCard for eight years now. They had a little pink card with Baby Phat sign on it back then which I liked. Also, my husband sends me a lot of money and just pays $4. I'm using it now for me and my son's disability. I don't have any problem with it at all. However, they keep sending me emails about their specials that if I get money, cash or check posted on my card, I'll get $10 or something but I don't get those and that upsets me. Nevertheless, they have a lot of good benefits. I like that I won't have to go out because I'm disabled, so I stay at home to order stuff and pay my bills online.

    I have talked to their reps plenty of times. It's mainly when they sent me another card out. I've also recommended my two daughters and my husband and they said they're going to put money on my card, but I still haven't gotten my $20 or $10 that they said they were going to give me. Another time was when I put $171 on the card and it didn't go through. It took two months before I got my money back and in the process, my light was cut off. There was no light bill money because it took a while for that to get back. But that's the only bad problem that I've had with them.

    I've stayed with Rushcard for a while now and it's a lot easier to put the money on the card and to get it off. I just have the Rushcard and I can go anywhere to use it and I can go to any bank and get money out. It’s great not carrying cash. Also, I'm bedridden and I do most of my shopping online and it's very convenient and easy. Loading the card with cash is very easy too. Because I don’t walk, my son-in-law is the one who goes to the reload locations to load it for me.

    The customer service of Rushcard was very friendly as well. I contacted them when there was a time some people were taking money off my card because they had my account number.     I used my RushCard to pay bills and order stuff online and I liked that I get my check early with it. However, I got mad at them because when my card expired, I still had money in it. They gave me a new card right away that wasn't active. I had to call them seven times and talk to different customer service reps and managers and it took them almost four weeks just to get my money off my old card and transfer into an active new card. I don't use RushCard for direct deposit any more because of that bad experience. And then, one time everybody was having problems with the card. My husband has one and he couldn't get his direct deposit on it. He had to keep calling people and it took him almost a week to get his paycheck on his own card because they had some type of glitch with the computer software when they upgraded it.

    I was happy with RushCard until all those incidents happened. Since they upgraded the system to their software, they've never worked the same any more. It seemed like everything is put on haywire. If the computer isn't matched to go with the software and they don't have something in place in case it goes wrong, then the customers are the ones that suffer and tha is the bad part about it.

    I've been with Rushcard for years. They have good fees and it's a recognized brand. I've been able to spend a little bit more responsibly since using it and I get direct deposits. I've been able to use it to make online purchases and it's very convenient. Sometimes though when I try to load money on the card, like when I went to MoneyGram to load it, I have problems because I wanted to load more money on it but I can only load $200 max. So that makes it inconvenient sometimes. Also, for a couple of days, I've been trying to file a dispute and I can't get through on the dispute line so I can't file one. They say that the dispute line is busy. Other than that, it's a very good product.

    I have been a Rushcard member since 2004. Over the years they have gone from being a very respectable company to hiring customer service reps that can barely speak the American language. Rushcard is made up of a bunch of thieves who prey on low income mostly ** families that are already struggling. It's a way for them to tie up their money so they get further into debt. I stayed at a hotel while traveling with my kids. The hotel placed an authorization on my card and then billed for the actual amount. They informed that they released the authorization 5 days ago but Rushcard has yet to release my money! They keep giving me the run around saying it takes 3 business days but we are past that.

    They then made me contact the hotel with the information needed for them to release the hold, right away so they said! However, that didn't work because now they are saying that it's handled by the accounting back office that is housed at the corporate office... Like really! Didn't I say I have been a member since 2004? I know exactly what they can and can't do. I have had this happen before which is why I didn't want to use the card for this transaction but had no other choice! I keep saying that I am going to cease doing business with this company but this time I really am! If this is how Russell Simmons does business, he should be ashamed of himself and jailed for taking advantage and robbing from the poor!!!

    I like Russell Simmons so I got myself a RushCard. However, I see missing money sometimes but then I see it go back on. Otherwise, it's been good. Also, I was in Arizona and my husband was sending me money and he said that RushCard was only allowing a $200 limit to my card for some reason. I don't know if it has been resolved.     RushCard has not been consistent with my deposits. I have been using this prepaid card for my direct deposits working at the same job for over a year. It clearly states that I would be paid two days before my pay date but that hasn't been the case. I was getting paid on Thursdays up until last month. Now that routine has changed and I am getting paid on my date. I have contacted customer service about this issue several times to no avail, there wasn't a clear answer to my question. This has caused inconsistent delays and reliability on me paying bills. Why has there been inconsistent payments for my direct deposits Rush!!!
