This place will rip you off then tell you lies to avoid giving you your hard earned money back that should've never been taken off. After calling I was told a supervisor would call me back 8 hours later. Still nothing. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED.

I bought one of these cards just to have a few hundred dollars on me at all times Plus being able to use it online. Do not try and book any flights with this card. I tried to register this card so I could have my address connected to it. When doing so they were supposed to send me a code via text to my phone. Never happened. Multiple times. Multiple days. I'm kinda on the fence about these cards. I looked at their reviews. And on the negative ones 9 out of 10 got the response (When we attempted to contact you through the number provided by Consumer Affairs. Please contact us via Private Message at your earliest convenience so we can assist you with resolving your concerns. We look forward to hearing from you! ). That sounded like a pretty flakey system. I have 5 dollars left on the card. Probably will start looking around and see what's out there. Thank you, Green Dot Corporation.

I called about cashback rewards and got the runaround for an hour. Then I was told that the website runs itself and nobody could help me. These people are a joke and a fraud. They're only good until you need them. Then you see the **. I will be searching for another company. Customer lost!

The fact that you can't speak to customer service to resolve reload issues is completely ridiculous. Once you give the information asked for you still have to wait for YOUR MONEY!!! I've had to verify who I am just to send MYSELF money. The online system does not work as advertised, says 20-30 for email or text, it took hours for a response and my issue still wasn't handled. Green Dot acts like it's their money and you have to beg to get it. I'm currently stranded because I don't have gas money because I can't reload my card. I'm done with Green Dot services!!!

I keep calling. No one to talk to. It said I can get paid 2 days before but I keep checking my card and no money yet. You have a lot of bad reviews on Facebook and I pray that I receive my money because I have to move and be out of my place.

Can't register. Call the number on back of card. Automated service says I dialed wrong number. Total run around. They have my money but I can't use the card. Never again! Total frustration and this company could care less.

I like how my money goes into my Green Dot Prepaid Card earlier, usually two days before. However, I wish I could call like how I'd call the bank and they would tell me what has been taken out of my account and on what date. At GreenDot, I don't talk to anyone and all they tell me is my balance. Still, I'd recommend them.

I like the way they give me 2 days faster to get my direct deposit and they are always helpful in giving good customer service. I am really enjoying my service and they always help me when I need it most.

I went to withdraw 100 dollars from ATM today but didn’t receive the money. The screen crashed but the money was still took off my card. When called customer service I didn’t get my money back. The guy told me I would have to dispute it and wait until August. I’m very upset. This happened today.

I had bought Green Dot card from 7 11. I went to activate the card and the website and phone call told me it is not a card that can be activated. I want my $35 back. So I call back to get to refund. Same thing. Not the number tells me this number is not in my call area. I had already called it so I know it is. I want my $35 back. Or I'm suing.

Green Dot is nice because it helps people who can't get bank accounts, have a card for paying bills. I also like how easy it is to send money to friends and how it has the vault feature which functions similar to having a savings account. However many services don't accept pre paid visas and many services don't have you listed as a eligible bank. Also when I get a direct deposit it takes a long time to show up on my card even though its advertisement says you get paid early from direct deposits. It shouldn't take so long to process. Another thing that is hard is that it's difficult to report a transaction that is fraudulent. Filling out a form online does not give you the same feeling of safety as talking to a live person about the problem. Thank you.

It does not truly allow you to get paid 2 days earlier as stated. The once a month charge is unnecessary to me. It's more efficient to have a regular legit bank account. When I need to contact customer service I could never understand the foreign representative. Plan to close account with the month.

Green Dot hands down has been my favorite card I have ever owned. There's no maintenance/hidden fees if you use your card regularly which is great, saves you $5-$10 a month. Easy to transfer money to people thru email or phone. Also, transfer money from your checkings to your savings (and vice versa) in seconds. My all time favorite feature has to be the cash back rewards! Would HIGHLY recommend getting a Green Dot card!

I just got my Green Dot card yesterday, I loaded so I could pay my bills and get groceries. Upon activating the card I received a message stating that I have tried too many times to try at a later time. It has been 14 hours from the time I tried to activate the card, it still won't let me activate. I am about to lose my internet service and my phone turned off. As well as not being able to get groceries to feed me and my service dog. I will be going to my attorney to discuss matters.

I love my Green Dot account! It's easy. No hidden fees and I get paid a day earlier being that I have the majority of my check direct deposited in my green dot account. I definitely recommend opening a green dot account.

The hotel we stayed at a week ago placed a hold for $50 on my card as a deposit to be refunded at checkout. They did not CHARGE my card - only placed a hold and it was released when we checked out and Green Dot confirmed it was indeed released. So please explain to me why almost 10 days after my money has been released by the hotel has Green Dot not released my money back to my card??? And don't dare try to call their customer service to get answers. Not only can you barely understand them but they repeat the same thing over and over and refuse to let you speak to a supervisor but they lack serious customer service skills. WHEN IS IT EVER OKAY TO YELL AT A CUSTOMER when asked to speak to a supervisor???? I've had my card for almost a year now and after this I'm done.

I bought this card and uploaded money and now there’s no money on it. The representatives are rude. They still saying system is down and they can’t see my money! Now they done took my money apparently and claims they don’t see that I added money and I clearly have the receipt.

The tactics they use border on thievery. I had a transaction I did not recognize authorizing a wire transaction outside the country. The wire transfer company promptly investigated and deemed it theft. My Green Dot experience was a nightmare. My first run in with incompetence was when I called to report the transaction. The man said he would have a new card sent out immediately and I would have access to my account in 3 days, but I had to cancel the current card first so I approved it. 3 days no card. Called back and was told by another incompetent employee that the first had not expedited it so would be closer to 10 days. I told him I could not go 10 days without it and he suggested buying ANOTHER card, linking it to the account and using it temporarily until the new card came in.

Updated on 11/03/2019: I am ** upset. I am on vacation and I tried to use my Greendot card. And it keeps saying declined for suspected fraud So I called the customer service number. And the supervisor tells me there is no block on the card for suspected fraud. Then she told me to use other ATMs. I told her i have used 4 already. After 4 it's not going to work the. She said "It's the state you are in". I like WHAT the state. That is way people use debt or credit cards so you can go worldwide. I was in a ** restaurant and my card was declined. They said wait 1 hour for the block to be lifted. I waited. Still declined. Then she said it's nothing she can do. I said "What use are you". Please someone help me. Took over 75 dollars. Went to look for my transaction, it wasn't found. Call the number, customer service was very unprofessional. I haven't been a customer long but I was very unhappy. Took money from my son's football enrollment. Who do I talk to about it?

My husband bought a Green Dot prepaid card thinking he could easily order items online. We can't use the card because it can't be registered and we have called every customer service number we can find only to be hung up on by an automated system. We can't get the website to help us either. So we have money on a card that is useless. Never ever again!!!! This company is a scam!!!!

Well, where to start, you take out monthly fees, even though I literally have no money in my account so I end up in the negative. I'm literally trying to stay afloat and keep it out of the negative because I'm pregnant, and I use my card when it's needed. And if I don't use it, y'all take the money either way. So either way I can't save up for my daughter. I'm 6 months pregnant. And I can't even see a doctor because I'm being declined on Medicaid, and then my card keeps getting deeper into the negatives. I'm honestly about to just go to a local bank and say screw Green Dot. My local bank I've been talking to, told me they don't pull money from your account without your approval. So yeah. This is my opinion.

I have had no issues with the card has been really good for me. Thanks. I really like the cashback feature. Wish the monthly fee wasn't so much. I also like how easy it is to set up direct deposit, but overall the card and customer service has been very good.

I purchased a card and loaded $75 dollars on it. It was supposed to be a gift to a niece so she could learn some financial responsibility. We have not been able to activate the card because of technical issues. We have called and it tell me I have called the wrong number, and to call the number in the back of the card. I am calling the stupid number in the back of the card. There is no way to get an actually person on the phone. I guess the lesson for her is to never use this crappy company. Lucky I only lost $75 and not more. What a joke this is!!!

I had called them a few months ago asking why I could not make a mobile deposit of a check. They stated that I had to have the account open for two months to deposit checks and then I could deposit checks. I waited the two months. Tried to deposit a check with mobile deposit. They denied the deposit stating that I should contact the issuer and have another check issued. That led me to believe that a large American and well known company was having problems. I called them; it took a few days. I found out that there was nothing wrong with the corporate check made out to me.

I've been using this card for years with the same account number. It's always been right on point with my direct deposits from my paycheck, my tax refunds and my children's survivor benefits. I've never had one complaint. Until today when my paycheck didn't arrive in my account. I talked to payroll who said the info was sent but I still have no money. I really hope this is an isolated thing because I would hate to have to go somewhere else. I've always liked Green Dot.

I am grateful for the ability to use the card in all the different ways. To pay bills and to be able to use it online. I have recommended using this to others. I just wish that there weren't any fees at ATM's for cash. I try very hard not to do that. I don't want to have to pay to get my own money. Thank you.

In October of last year 2028 I place $100 on a Green Dot card through Walgreens of Lake City Georgia. After purchased in the Card the money never appeared on the Green Dot card. I I contacted Walgreens manager and Green Dot customer service department, I went through countless talks and procedures to refund my money. Until this day I have not been refunded my $100. Needless to say both places lost me as a customer. Do not deal with Green Dot cards.

For the last 2 years my deposits have come every other Wednesday between 5 and 6pm... It is Thursday and I still haven't received anything.... My employer says the funds were deposited yesterday!! Where is my money!!??

Very polite representative called me today was extremely helpful and polite and informed me of new features that are upcoming for new cards.

Really the only complaint I have is that you guys charge a $3.00 fee to get MY money out of the atm. Why should I have to pay a fee to you guys to get my own money out of the atm? I already have to pay a fee from the atm its self, so technically if I ever want cash its costs me $5 and I don't think that's fair. What I do like about your services is the waiver if you deposit $1000 within a month, getting paid 2 days earlier is nice, and I like how easy your app is.

I like this card n app. EXCEPT FOR the limit on daily withdrawals from ATM. I get my payroll check to this card. The other day I tried taking out 1400 from an ATM and it wouldn't let me. It even locked my card from use on any ATM. Very inconvenient and this made a huge problem for me because I get off late from work and had to pay my rent. This issue made me late on my rent from not being able to withdrawal. And I had to pay a late fee of $195.00. I was very upset about this and I was reading online that this app will not give you a higher ATM withdrawal limit. I want to know why. If it's money why are you making it so hard to get my money out for any use. 500 limit is not enough.

I have been really happy with my Green Dot account. Easy to use. And would recommend to anyone. Easy to buy money paks also, altos of stores that they have them. Been with my account for a year already. I have no problem. Thank you.

I have been very satisfied with my card this last year that I have been a member. With this card I have been able to travel as far as Texas and other places. I will continue to use my card in the near future because I plan on traveling soon.

I’ve had no problems with this card. I switched from another company because Green Dot has lower fees. Keep up the good work. I love the idea of earning cash back. And I like the idea I can use this card with Apple Pay, which makes things easier.

I am having the same problems as others. I cannot activate my card and cannot reach a human being for help. When I try to activate my card, they tell me that I am calling the wrong number and should call the number on the back of the card (which I did). I have placed $200 on this card and want my money back.

I am not happy with the monthly fee of $9.68. I am a single mother and I barely make ends meet. I think like $2.00 would be a more reasonable price because I'm always in the negative balance and that's not fair for me since I am looking forward to the $100 cash back at the end of the year. If this doesn't change I will be switching my Direct Deposit payment to another company that offers it for free.

It's been a good experience. Easy to use and load debit card with direct deposit and I also use Walmart. I really like the 100 cashback after 12 months and the contests Green Dot has, haven't won anything yet. Solid experience.

I have not received my direct deposit after 430 every Wednesday since I had this card. Now today of all days I havent received anything. My rent is due and utilities. My employer says they posted the direct deposit. I want to know where is my money?

I Like how my direct deposit is early. The Green Dot app is always accurate and it's great to get app notifications when my card has been used. The bank account numbers wont work with Experian or many other sites though.

Green Dot is a great way for me to keep track of how much I'm spending and my checks come in 2 days early. I'm able to use it online and I feel safe about my money. I would definitely recommend Green Dot to my family and friends.

Green Dot has been great for me. Except the withdraw limit of one thousand. And the charge for calling for my balance. And charge to put money on it should be lower then a ATM charge. Also I never get text updates on deposits or transactions.

This card has been a life saver for me. When I had my regular bank card I was forever paying late charges and overdraft fees. With Green Dot I can only spend what I have. It also pays you 100 dollars if you keep from going over your limit for 1 year.

Green Dot is awesome I always get my money on time. Don't never take nothing out that they're not supposed to. Is not no phone calls regarding my money. Never. They're just all-around great. I would recommend them to anyone that I know.

I have been mostly satisfied with my card. I love that I can access my direct deposit the day before I get paid. The only thing I'm slightly disappointed about is the monthly service charge as I thought if I had direct deposit there wouldn't be a charge.

I no longer w/ this Company. Went to Chime bc Chime doesn't charge monthly fees. Also you're not a real form of a bank. It's hard to set anything up w/ this card. I was with you guys since 2018 w/ directed deposit and you never offer anything. So I have moved on.

I’ve had my card for a few years now, I haven’t had any problems with it at all! It’s been a good experience having it, I can’t say anything negative about it. I’ve used it for everything, stores, online, restaurants, atm’s, I’ve never had a problem!

Overall my experience with Green Dot has been a good one. The only complaint is that I wish the monthly fee would be taken out as soon as the direct deposit was deposited. Even though Green Dot Bank is FDIC certified and is an official bank, a lot of online direct deposit services are not accepted because they still have GreenDot as prepaid. And such reasoning even if the card has the funding available payment cannot be made due to anti-prepaid policies.

The only change I would like is to be able to send money from my card to another card that my son has in Florida. It would be really nice to be able to just send from my card to his without having to go to Walmart to send a money gram.

My card no longer works at any store. It doesn't work at 50% of atms, but it *does* work at some atms and it *always* works online which means it isn't broken. It seems as if you are just purposefully shutting off my card when I use it at stores in order to prevent me from racking up cash back (which has suspiciously stopped exactly at $250). Do I have to wait 6 months in order to use this card at a store again? Like I seriously don't even want the cash back, I just want a ** card that works at any store.

First got my card in 2005-2006 when finances were bad. Enabled me to connect to digital world. Features are helpful. Thing I don’t like is can’t transfer to bank acct & when transferring to Green Dot not instantly available which would be very helpful.

GreenDot has really made things easier for me to pay bills or have my direct deposit on time. It’s been very convenient. I had GreenDot for a couple of years so I would recommend if you to make your life a lot easier with bill and it’s real easy to apply for a GreenDot card.

I've had my Green Dot card for almost a year and I love it. It's convenient, easy to set up, and I can use it anywhere. I like the 5% cash back, only thing that I don't like is that the ATM fees are a bit much.

Only problem I have with Green Dot is calling your number 866-795-7597 can’t get thru. My card is falling apart and need a new one. Had to tape this one back together. And have tried to call to inform green dot that my granddaughter has my permission to use my card and I wanted it documented.

There should be a no monthly payments to y'all for the card and should ask a important question before online purchase is made.. because I've put money on my card and a game app well just tack it or y'all do for a monthly fee and some of us are poor and can't afford for someone else to take are money without our permission...

I would like to see some sort of annual refund for some of the monthly fees that are taken out of the account as an incentive to keep the account open. Just a nice way of saying "Thank you for being our customer".

Never been disappointed! This is a great card, great customer service! And a bonus perk is getting paid 2 days early! Would definitely recommend. Easy to use, never an overdraft! The only thing I would say I dislike is even with direct deposit, you still have a $9.95 fee per month.

I have nothing bad to say, I wish I could use overdraft protection but other than that, I the cash back rewards program, also the comfort of having a card a transfer money to at anytime. Great service that makes my life easier to deal with.

It's easy to obtain an account and membership. Green Dot's fees aren't outrageous either. They charge about same amount of money in fees as every other bank or debit cardholder and prepaid card services.

I like the card and the service just don’t like the monthly fee to get my cash back. It should be to where you could pull the money out whenever you reach a hundred dollars or raise the cash back to where you don’t max out at 100 dollars.

It is very good using your card. You get 5% cash back on all purchases. I just wished it would do cash back every 6 months instead of once a year. I use my card everywhere I go. I never carry cash on me and every place I go to takes my card. Wish I could use my card at the gas pump instead of going into the store.

I have had no problems when using this card. Love that the notifications are consistent when making purchases/deposits. Bill pay is convenient and quick. Monthly fees are higher than other pre-paid cards I used. Easy transferring of money. Love this card.

I love using my Green Dot card, it's just that I had over 700 hundred dollars on there from cash back and I didn't know that if you didn't use it in a timely manner that they took it back. I wish I would've been warned.

Can't speak with anyone about issues with my card. Have been ripped off by certain vendors and can't talk with anyone to fight the charge. Need help!!!! Or I'm going to switch my card to another company. Please contact me regarding this issue.

I wish I could use the card at Royal Farms for gas.. I appreciate getting paid a day earlier. No major complaints. Overall the card helps in emergencies. I haven’t tried to add money from another account yet.

The only thing it takes a long time to dispute a transaction or order a new card.. Wish there could be a easier way to dispute a transaction or billing...and when you over a new card it takes a while to get it... and be use this.. It's a excellent card and services.

This card is very misleading. You do NOT get paid 2 days faster, and even when your deposit hits and says available it's not really available. It takes 4 hrs from when it's deposited to be there. Card also says with deposits over $1000 that fee would be waived, but it wasn't. I will NOT recommend this card to anyone.

I have tried and tried to log in online and nothing. Even on the app it won't let me in. I have changed the password many times and I completely gave up. Next month I'm getting a new card because this one sucks, you want feedback fix your damn online services because they ** suck.

I love my cash back card. You can save money spend money and get cashback rewards. I'd have been with Green Dot for a year now and I'm satisfied with it. I happy that you can transfer money from savings without no limits. I highly recommended this card.

The fees are too high, customer service does not understand basic English and are rude when they can't comprehend basic English. Won't be with this company, long because of that too. On the web page no way to do a change of address yet it should be since you have to verify who you are to even access your account too often.

Love having Green Dot. The service is excellent and online very helpful. Deposit of funds is very convient and happens earlier than most banks. Easy to load, receive funds so much sooner, multiple locations to access your funds with minimum to no fees at all.

I noticed that I hit my max cashback rewards of $100.00 after about 3 to 4 months. It would be more convenient to not have to wait a full 12 months to get my rewards because by then I could have earned 3 times that. With as much as I use and value my Green Dot card and service, it would be nice to be able to get my cashback rewards after I hit the maximum, otherwise any cashback earnings I could be making the majority 8 to 9 months of the year just become null and void. It is a little disappointing because I work very hard and I use my card wisely on certain things specifically for cashback rewards. I feel that I should be able to earn and receive cashback rewards as long as I am still having large weekly direct deposits and actively using my card. Thank you sincerely for your time and concern! The card is convenient. However withdrawing big deposit amounts can be inconvenient and costly. A better system for customers could be fair. Also when paying a ATM fee the card fee is a bit much. However the available information to the card in the site is great asking with easy access to depositing money.

I love this card especially the cash back and it allows me to vault my money so it can't be touched. Such a great advantage. The plus side is I can distribute and hide money if needed without someone knowing what is available.

I have a card that I am unable to use. I have attemtped to register it 7 times. Each time I receive the notice "Sorry, we are having technical difficulties, please try again later". On the two occasions when I was able to get to the point where I would be texted a verification code I am prompted "You have exceeded the number of attempts, please try again later". This is RIDICULOUS! I will see if the vendor will take the card back. This is a RIP OFF.

Accurate. No issues whatsoever! I have access to my account I have not run into any technically problems of any kind. My direct deposit is insanely fast. Very reliable I wish the cards came with a chip. That’s the only complaint.

I don't have a bank acct so having a Green Dot card has been very helpful and so convenient when it comes to getting my paychecks. I have been receiving direct deposit for the past few months and I love it. No more having to drive on my day off to get paid.

I love using my Green Dot card, I don't think changes are needed, unless you have plans on decreasing your monthly charges, but other than that, I love using my card, please feel free to send me any kind of info.

My experience with you guys has been amazing. I recommend you guys to my family and friends. I love my card and the app is good too. Wish you guys had it to where you could transfer money automatically to savings but other than that I love it.

The 9.95 a month fee is too much to pay for a card. Chime doesn't charge anyone a monthly fee and still offers cashback. If the fee isn't reduced we should at least get 200 cashback instead of 100 cashback at the end of the year otherwise we as customers are losing more money than it's worth when another company does everything Green Dot does for completely free.

I really hate that you charge a fee on every atm transaction on top of the ATM fee itself. I mean I'm already paying a monthly fee (ex. If the ATM fee is 2.50 then you guys charge 2.50 so it took 5 just to get 20 out ok and then I pay 10 for the monthly fee ok).

Very happy with our card. Have never had any issues. Very easy to deal with and reload. Reasonable allowable amount to withdraw. Highly recommend anyone to use the Green Dot card, have actually got lots of family members to register one.

It seems when I withdraw from an ATM I get charged from the ATM and Green Dot. If at all possible I would you refund the extra charges to my account. Also I lost my card and have been having a difficult time getting a new one.

I like the Green Dot card, I really like the vault (ability to stash all or part of your cash balance on card that cannot be deducted). The main thing I don't like is the inability to reach a living talking human being, and your answers/links cannot handle everything. Such as last year, I was going to donate $25.00 to a political campaign, about ten minutes later I checked my balance and found somehow it had registered $250.00 instead, and it said it was still pending. It said it was still pending the next morning also.It's possible I could have mistakenly clicked the zero.

Accepted everywhere, love the rewards, and super love the vault. I am very happy with this card. I've recommended this card to friends, also I haven't had any problems with auto deposit. Super convenient. I prefer Green Dot over a bank.

I was at Walmart one day and I needed a new debit card type of thing. Green Dot was there and it seemed like it wasn't gonna be a scam, that it was going through Walmart. It’s a lot easier for me to pay having the card. I can order pizza or something, and I don't have to have cash. I just use my card. And I like the Green Dot people when I call and have a problem. I very much like Green Dot. I would recommend it to anybody. I use it all the time. I have a cashback one too. I haven't set up yet but I'm working on it.

I enjoy having the Green Dot card. I'm fine with the monthly fee, but maybe offer a discount to veterans and/or service members. I myself am a veteran, who struggles month to month and sometimes I could use the extra $10. Other than that, great card.

Only the very first paycheck was two days early then until now it comes in only 1 1/2 days early. My card has 5% cashback that I have not received. I have two other cards that are true to their word that are actually deposited 2 days earlier. One is Card.com this one I am very satisfied with.

I don't receive notification text like I am signed up for and I would like to and would prefer receiving text to the emails I get now. Please fix your system or whatever you need to do to fix the problem.

I have been very happy with my card. Although, there was an instance when I could not access my money, but by day's end it was rectified. I have had no other problems, and plan to stick with Green Dot.

You can only take $300 out of ATM a day, makes it hard on rent day when I need $1200 I have to get cash back so many times to take out all my rent money. Other than that I have no problems really, I also can’t log into the app.

Two things are big issues for me with GreenDot. 1) They won’t replace a card for an existing account if it is damaged. 2) they only give you 12 months of transaction records. Otherwise mostly I am happy with them.

Love the fact that you get your direct deposit up to 2 days sooner! Plus earning cashback is a major bonus! Really helps me at times when needed. Easy to load cash onto. Definitely recommend to everyone especially if you don't want to deal with the hassle of a bank.

I was so comfortable with the ease of sending money to my PayPal account through GreenDot, but it has since been taken away. Because of this, I may have to close my GreenDot card. I would hate to do this because I would lose money.

Right now the card doesn't allow me to pay for gas at the pump only inside and a lot of gas stations in Oregon don't have that ability and it seriously makes it complicated in many situations when I need gas but can't pay at the pump, it would be awesome if you could fix that.

Everything is good but my SS needs my bank statement everything now and then. So hopefully I could get it by request even if it cost to send a copy. And I hope that the cashback might be more as you get to year to year or the like. Another thing about it it cost too much to withdraw from the ATM, maybe you don't need to charge us if we use the same store again and again.

Happy with the services and would like to know when the $1045 deposit from Green Dot will be deposited into my account for keeping more than a $1000 in my account each month. I Love this card and it's so easy to use.

I have had nothing but a positive experience with helping to reestablish my finances after having some life issues. Easy to use and helpful in tracking my spending. Direct deposits of my paycheck and tax refund, and cash deposits at CVS and Walgreens, makes it feel like I have a 24 hour bank that is always there when I need them.

Love Green for always on time. Great customer service. Use my card anywhere. Had issues with app and got fix real quick in on time for my balance just someplace charge a lot with Green Dot to withdraw money from ATM but great card. Would recommend this to all my friends.

I am satisfied with using this card, but have only thing I would change... the cash back option would be nice to use that $100 when you have it with maybe a 6 month time period rather than 12 months. It pains me every month I look at it counting down, 3 to 4 months waiting could be used towards the next 12 months but it just sits there paused. Thanks.

I’m thoroughly enjoying my card. It has allowed me to do a lot of things and the fact that I get my paycheck days in advance is very helpful. I’m a be able to pay for things in advance as well as have the reassurance that any auto pays that I have it taken care of quickly.

The only card I'll ever need Green Dot, I can take care of all my monetary transactions through the app which is easy to download. It's on point, precise, quick, very accurate and updates very quickly too. Just plain AWESOME! I RECOMMEND GREEN DOT FIRMLY TO EVERYONE I KNOW!

I'm getting charged a fee even though I have direct deposit. Not happy about that. And think that if you set up direct deposit you should not be charged for the account. Is there anything else you can do to make things better for me.

I need to update my personal information but am unable to do so. I’ve moved to Indiana and as of tomorrow I will be legally changing my last name back to my maiden name. I’ve not been able to do so through the app.

I will more than likely be switching to a regular bank account because of your monthly fee. I like the early paydays but too many free accounts to justify a day early. Like right now my account in negative because of it. I have 3 children and live pay day to pay day.

I have used Green Dot cards for a few years now. I think they offer the best service for the money. It is easy to send money to friends. I especially like the cash back. I wish you could get more than one hundred dollar back, but I am happy to get it. I would like to see a card that you can link to your account for teenagers. It should have whatever balance you put in. I do not want to give them a card with the same number that draws from my account.

Why is that it stopped at $250 and won't go past that so I'm not getting cash back on what I spend no more. So what is the use for the card when I'm not get cash back. I would like to keep getting money back as I spend. How could you change that.

My experience with Green Dot has been ok. The monthly charge is exceptionally higher than Net Spend. I am new to green dot and look forward to learning more about this institution. I also need to change my mailing address so I could use some information on how to go about doing that. Also how can I get a second card without having to pay for one.

I don’t like that there are no phone options if there is an issue. It makes it hard if you do have an urgent issue, then you have to write a letter. Especially in regards to being charged fees by Green Dot.

I've find it's easy to use. I use mine mostly of online shopping. It quick fast and easy. Haven't had any problems using it on the shopping sites that I shop on. Even the couple of refunds were back on card within a decent amount of time.

I am so Happy with Green Dot. I have been with you for years and have never had a complaint. The only issue that I have is that you have a limit on your account. Need to lower the monthly deposit amount as to avoid monthly card fees. If it was not for the fee I would keep some more money on instead pulling out all cash I have on the card. But otherwise I like that the card is accepted everywhere.

Good card... But I haven't got a new one with the same account and plus I know I'm close to my 1yr and I still haven't received my $100 yet... Do away with these extra charges to withdrawal money off the card... And also it's not on time with the two day pay because I get pay on Thursdays instead of Wednesday.

Send notifications and warning notifications when money is going to be taken out of account. I have them on a never receive them. Also, add the microchip. It’s annoying when some stores swipe actually doesn’t work. And make reloading easier I don’t want to take the extra step of going into a store just to load money!

I feel the card is nice. I don't feel fees should be charged to refill card if you have to pay a monthly fee though. It is easy to use and handy for bills. I would like to see it cheaper though paying a monthly fee and paying to reload gets expensive.

I’ve never had an issue with my Green Dot card. My payday comes early. I can’t overdraft. This is a perfect card for me. My card is accepted almost every place!! Green Dot is the way to go for me. I tell everyone interested about using Green Dot.

I never ordered checks (that mysteriously arrived and cost me $13), and removing the PayPal feature from the send money options for the recipient has diminished the value of having this overpriced account. I am reconsidering doing business with Green Dot. The competition has so many more perks and a customer service phone number that I should never need (but I sure need Green Dot customer service)... Guess I will have to write and not talk to a rep and hope for resolution in the dark for who knows how long.

Enjoy using this card. I like how you get cash back after each year of keeping your account in good standing. It would be nice if they could increase the daily withdrawal limit for the card. Other than that I am a happy customer.

I love my card. The only thing I would change us the cash back rewards. I think if you have your paycheck deposited to your card you should receive your rewards quarterly. Other than that I still love my card. The app is easy to use too.

Love getting paid early but completely sucks that it not only takes atm fees but more money out just for using atm get cash. I'm almost tempted go back to bank. I'm losing more money than I'm getting. Some of us are single moms needing every penny.

Every time I sign in to Green Dot, I have to figure out some stupid puzzle, or whatever you want to call it, counting cars or crosswalks and whatever. Then I may have to request some type of security code all before I can get into my account. Green Dot says that this is for security reasons. Then why is Green Dot, out of all of my accounts, the only one that does this? It makes me feel like Green Dot looks at me as some sort of idiot that can't manage his own account! I do think that I have enough intelligence to report to you if I see any discrepancies in my account. Other than that, Green Dot is good with everything else, but your practice is so annoying that I have seriously contemplated moving my account to somewhere else.

I really have no complaints other than the dispute process is lengthy, and the mailing of the form seems to be ridiculous. Other than that I have had my card for a year and never had any issues. I love the transfer process.

It has Been a fairly good experience. I have Even used for direct deposit. Had it about 6 months now. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Never had any issues so far. Only thing I wish was I could get a custom card or at least some different color options.

I have had a few experiences where my card will not work. One is paying my propane bill. They try but it won’t work. Is it their cc machine? Also the monthly fees are high. I’m on ssd and I’m very close to the 1,000.00 no fee charge but not close enough.

Take too much money off your own money you earned!!! The card is a good card to have especially when you can order offline and receive your items in 2 days. For that I give you 10 stars!! I really love my card.

I have used many different banks and have had many problems. So far it’s great! No problems so far, and if I do they are quick to fix them. Get my deposits before many in my office and never had to get it corrected.

It is extremely aggravating to pay exorbitant atm fees. Every bank and card company has some sort of agreement with certain atms to waive fees. It's enough to make one stop using your company completely. Everything else is decent. Please fix it.

I love the GreenDot card. My only complaint is more atms with no charge or don’t take an additional 2.50 off the card and the monthly fee every month lower it or take it away. But overall a great card.

I have tried several different pre-paid cards and I did not like the monthly charge and the service. So I tried Green Dot and it was a good choice. The main thing that I like is that they do not allow unauthorized transactions. I also like that I can use the card to pay for mostly anything and I get paid a day early for my paycheck. I would definitely recommend Green Dot to friends and have recommended to co-workers.

I wish there wasn’t a monthly fee, but I can use the card anywhere, and I get my paycheck 2-3 days earlier than my coworkers. So far no issues. Plus the cashback tracker feature is amazing. I wish there was a way to communicate with the company via e-form.

Love being able to stash money from hubby for rainy day funds. Customer service is not the best, but now I can use app to bypass them. And fill the price of checks is a little high for the amount of checks you get. But overall, the card and app gets GREEN DOT a solid 5 out of 5.

My only complaint is that is cost so much to reload. I think that is you have a permanent card then the amount to reload should decrease. I am being charged $3.95 per reload! I would reload more if I didn’t have such a hefty fee!

Green Dot has been great. I however do not like the fee that is added monthly. Being that I don't have much money to add to the card per month, that fee really adds up when there are some cards with no fees or lower fees. I will be looking at those in the future.

So far haven't had any complaints about my Green Dot account. Great service no Problems whatsoever. I even apply for the Green Dot Platinum Credit Card, and it has help me bring back up my credit score. I'm and waiting on the 12 month period to be able to redeem my cashback rewards. I think it's a very smart and good deal to attract customers. It be better if it was more then 100. But even so it's not bad. Love the idea of the app that has the option to stash money in the vault. It has help me manage money better and actually been able to save up money for 2 trips. Overall my experience has been great and can't wait to see what more can Green Dot offer.

I think the fee is ridiculous, I get direct deposit and still get charged a 10 monthly fee. How's that ok when I'm a customer to you with an active card that gets used daily. It would be nice to have it waived for direct deposit users.

I can access my card most times very easily via the app. There are times when the app takes longer or doesn’t work, but that is the same for any service. My money is available quick and I’ve never at any issues that weren’t corrected immediately.

I like almost everything about this card. The only thing that could change is your 100 dollar bonus. I earned the 100 fairly quick; but I cant have it until 12 months consecutive w/o a negative balance. They should change it to like 6 months. That would be more rewarding to me.

Hello there. I am taking some time out to let you guys know how I feel about your services. I like the card and all but wish there was a way y'all could add a overdraft protection on the cards especially if we use it for a direct deposit for work and to lower your monthly fees to 5.

I actually love my Green Dot Card. Payday 2 days early. I just feel like the fee should be a little less than 9 Dollars & eighty eighty cents. But overall this is by far the best prepaid card I ever had. My only complaint is the fee.

I like the ease of my card. I haven't had any trouble using it. However, I would like to be able to change my billing info, and address, without having to get a new card. I live off grid, and a new card would create hardships for me. But otherwise, it is an easy way to keep track of my spending and my savings. Love the mobile app! Thank you!

The only issue I have is that the Green Dot charges you 10 every month for a monthly maintenance fee. Basically we’re been charged to use our own money which I think is not fair. I feel like that’s a issue you guys should fix if y’all did have the maintenance Green Dot would be number 1 for prepaid debit cards.

I have been highly satisfied with Green Dot up until recently. All of the ATMs are changing and will not accept a card that does not have the chip in it. As Green Dot does not have chips in their cards, it has become nearly impossible to withdraw money from my card.
