    I like how I use it as a debit card with no problems. It's easy to put money on the card and that helps me out with a lot of things. The only thing I have issue with it's the $7.95 monthly fee but besides that everything else is just fine. Green Dot is great.

    For whatever reason I cannot access the website. I go there & try to log in & all I get is page can not be displayed... I'm not happy with all the foreign transaction fees. The first month I used Green Dot there were no fees for the same purchases I make still today. The monthly fee is too high. Plus it cost to reload cash. I'm just giving money away... Other than that I like & continue to use my card.

    I enjoyed Green Dot at first. However over the years the company has changed. The ATMs that are listed still charge fees which they used to be free. Also, the places that accept Green Dot bank are very few and far between. More accepting locations and easier reload as well as free ATM withdrawals would make this card and company great like it once was.

    This is a great card. I really wish that you didn't charge a monthly fee when you're loading cash. The fee you pay each month on top of the reload fee takes a lot of money from a person. Also I wish there was no monthly fee when you have direct deposits coming in twice a month but less than $1000. Simplify all your fees.

    The last 4 above are from a previous card that I had that was canceled due to fraudulent use. I am very interested to see just how serious your company is about customer satisfaction. Or if you just sweep it under the rug like most companies. My debit card was fraudulently used by someone staying at my home who had also stolen my identity. This person took my card in between my using it each day... And then put it back so I would not notice. There were four charges totaling around $500 that they charged at department stores. I reported this to your fraud dept. And have yet to get my money back. I hope that with the millions your company makes... You dont allow me... A man that lives paycheck to paycheck get cheated out of the money I work so hard for. I really hope you look into this. As the 10th business day is on the 20th. It would be nice to receive my funds back as you do advertise zero liability.

    I love the Green Dot team. I know I never deposit much. But I never ever have a problem. To be honest there is only 1 thing I don't like and that could get changed.     Well I gave them a 3 because they're average. They need help with getting better customer service. And oh yeah I'm still waiting year for my 25.00 direct deposit bonus in which I complained many times since I set it up and I never received it. Their customer service always says "will check into it and get back to you" but reality that's the way their customer service operates. It's not very good and they never do what they say they're going to do. And if you don't watch your account they do sneak extra fees in which I complained about as well with no response so it boils down to me is they care about making money more than their customers which is bad business because if they weren't I would have received the 25.00 many years ago. So to be honest I can't give them a higher score. I'm still upset because it's the principle of them not doing right.

    My experience was absolute frustration, nothing but problems. It (Visa green dot prepaid) took a week to get it activated. I kept getting error messages starting that you were experiencing technical difficulties, try again later and then card invalids along with technical difficulties error and redirects that were same errors. My power was shut off due to problems with this card. Wife had bought a different type of Green Dot. Same issues so stuck with two different cards. Couldn't use power shut off because of I couldn't access funds on either card and the money I had tied up in them. The other card my wife registered in her name. I have never in my life experience such issues especially with something that is simple.

    I'm going to be as honest as possible, this company is the worse prepaid company I have ever dealt with in my life! So let me explain. First every time I call this company I have to press wrong buttons in order to talk to someone. Second they take it upon their selves to freeze customers' cards without telling them. Make it so bad I have had this happen to me twice. Fourth this is the only company that I have dealt with that adult hangs up on their customers multiple times and when you ask for a supervisor they hangs up on you as well!!!

    I in the process of getting another preload card so I will never deal with this company again. Last they tell you to go to the website to find free ATM however it's not free because I have to call over and over to get my money back and now they don't want to give me my money back now so I don't even call anymore. Obviously the multiple transactions for $2.50 is more important than me as a customer. Now I have a lot more however I don't think it's enough time or space for all I have to say!!

    I've been with GreenDot for a long time. My experience has been largely very positive. The one thing that's good to keep in mind is if you're going to be using the ATM machine a lot, there is some confusion when it comes to What machines carrier fee and what ones do not. I became the type of member that allows me to have no fees at the ATM. I suggest that you look into that.

    GreenDot is not perfect. However when there is a problem they are immediately responsive and On Point. I find that contacting them through social media is the best way to get your issues resolved. If you need to speak with a manager they will call you back usually within a day or two. Once again Green Dot is not perfect, none of us are, but they fix their mistakes and they fix their issues and that's what I like. I especially like that they make me feel like a valued customer.

    I would recommend Green Dot card to a friend and I have many friends and many of them have switched to Green Dot. I get a little more privileges because I've been there for longer as far as free ATMs and at certain places because I've been there when it was free so they're kind of unhappy about stuff like that where I get it free at certain places and they don't so but other than that they're pretty happy with it. You get paid, my pay goes on usually two days before everybody else's which is nice. I need to look into getting the Platinum Card though now as long as none of the things I have are changed I'd like that. I am very pleased with my Green Dot card. Thank you.

    I enjoy using Green Dot, it actually helped me out more than you can guess. It was like giving me a second chance. I'm better with finances, been keeping track better, they are spot on all transactions and up to date. I'm not 100% where I need to be, but Green Dot has definitely helped me keep the course and I'm so thankful. I would suggest custom cards.     After several unauthorized transactions my account was frozen without notice. I was told a new card was shipped but it would take nearly two weeks to arrive (5-7 working days + weekend days). So I ordered an "expedited" card (extra $15, 2 day wait) and the first card sent arrived before the "expedited" card. I now have to wait 2 more days (4 days instead of 2) to get my account and money available again. Replacing the card has now cost me nearly $20 instead of $4.95. I think I should get my $15 back since the card did not arrive as advertised. I am NOT a happy camper.

    I have been a loyal cardholder for several years because of two simple reasons. First and foremost no overdraft fees ever. There is literally no way to overspend. Secondly, it super convenient to use and load. With this card and my Walmart MoneyCard through Green Dot I have a much better control of my finances. My only two suggestions are reducing in store card load and card maintenance fee; for loyal customers (over 5 year customer). Also less promos during balance calls. They're short but annoying after awhile.

    I really like my Green Dot card. I use it all the time and it is accepted everywhere. It is also great for ATM usage. It is easy to reload and the VIP works very well for my needs.     The only issue I've had with the automated menu is while reporting a lost card and the fact that I don't have the card is why I'm calling. How can I be expected to enter my card number to report it lost? I then tried my social security number but because I have more than one card registered with Green Dot I was told to enter the last four digits of the card I wanted to report lost. And without me entering it the process would not proceed. Ending the phone conversation and being hung up on by the automated operator. There was no option to speak with technical support or a live customer service representative. Leaving me very frustrated and worried my money was going to get stolen from the person who had my card.

    I am so glad for Green Dot. Banks were charging me for everything and freezing my account when deposits got hung up in ATM machines, etc. I get my direct deposit and can use my card almost anywhere.     I rarely have any problems with my account. But when there is one and you have to call in that can be a pain. My card never wants to scan when I use it. I had the same problem with my other card. It always has to be manually put in.

    Beware!!! Beware!!! Just a way to take your money!!! This was a gift card and what a major mistake. Because of $8 bucks a month, $4 to load money, my goal was to spend gift money and cancel card. 2 months later customer service will not cancel my card. I loaded money to pay the ripoff fees then tried to use the card to bring my balance to zero so I can have it closed but was unable to use the card that just took my money. Calling and speaking to someone in customer service is a big joke. One hour and 30 mins later after being transferred, hung up on, I was told my card was flagged and they sent a new one. Flagged for what??? By whom??? Then I was told I need to activate the card and they wanted all in information on the card... so I guess now they can see my card. There is no supervisor!!! Okay lady stated she canceled and close the card and in 2 weeks I will get a refund check.

    I will be surprised because this company is a complete ripoff. I would recommend canceling your card and just getting an account with the banks that at setup inside the Walmart stores because if you have a problem you can at least talk to someone directly and not be lied to over the phone and can understand them as well. Please note that I told the rep that I am recording my call and used my cellphone to document my many calls and time to them to request to close my account because I will not pay another penny to them. So because I could not use my money and must wait for a check for my refund... and I am sure there will be a charge to cash the check too. Beware. Beware. Beware... just pay the higher fees at your bank to have protection and someone to speak with face to face... it will be worth it in the long run for sure. Just a horrible way to do business horrible company... GreenDot Bank!!! Walmart should drop them too!!!

    My mom purchased a Walmart gift card (issued by Green Dot Bank) as a gift card for my son. They will not under any circumstances honor the card or answer any questions without a receipt. Why is there a card number and bar code if they won't use them? The cards have no value unless you have a receipt. Also, there is no way to contact by phone or email or text. If you have a complaint you have to fax it. It would be hilarious if I wasn't out $50 PLUS the $3.95 they charged me for the privilege of purchasing the garbage card.

    I put $100.00 on my card at Walmart on 7-15-17 and it still isn't on the card. Got a receipt from Walmart showing they sent to them but nothing is on it! Called Green Dot and explained the problem they just keep telling me to check back in a day. Got a case number finally but still nothing. What a way to run a business!!!

    Green Dot lies to their customers. They told me that I would be getting a check for $61.15 and my account said that I will be getting $53 dollars and something cents so they lied to me. I will never go with Green Dot ever again. I don't like being lied to. I wouldn't recommend Green Dot to anyone.

    Bought this card today with the intention of using the card today with a online purchase. Well little do I know that I have to wait whole (curse word) week to get the official card before I can make a purchase online internationally. I am extremely livid. They need to disclose this type of info before you use cash to get this card. Now I gotta wait a week to buy something that's gonna 2 weeks to ship. I will never use this card or Visa again. I'm switching to MasterCard for sure. Visa has lost a customer and I will spread the word how crappy Green Dot and Myvanilla is.

    If I could rate these idiots with below one star I would. My tax refund was rejected because the first 3 numbers was left off the account number. I called them 2 weeks before and they refused to address the problem, refused to even attempt to help me. They did not try one bit to help fix this mistake. I know that if one person with that company would have tried it would have help. The first 3 numbers are the same for every single card I have, every card my husband has, every card my sister, brother, son and daughter have. So I know it was fixable. They simply did not care.

    All 3 cards I bought on July 2nd all came up invalid when I tried to register them. I have $500 on each and can't get anyone to help me get my money back! I have sent all receipts via email and talked to people on the stores retail line. I still can't get my $1500 back and nobody seems to care!!!! I would not recommend.
