Green dot customer service has always been quick and easy. The only issue I had that was not to my liking is when I received a check from Green dot and because it was less than $2.00 I wasn't able to cash it. Why couldn't Green dot just transfer it to my new card? Other than that I've been happy with my Green dot card.

I find the card very easy to use anywhere I go. Don't have to worry about carrying a lot of cash on hand when I go out. Just load the card and go. Highly recommended!!! I tell all my friends about the card and why I like using it. It is also very convenient and prefer it when traveling.

I am very disappointed with not be able to deposit money on my card from Lyft and Uber, I am transferring the money because I need it, and your bank rejects in causing me to have to wait to 2 to 3 days, but I need this money for food and gas money to continue to work on a daily basis. I have order a NetSpend card. I will see if I have a better experience with them.

When I try to load my card, this is now 3 days of trying at the last step the website says, "Error. Please try again later. System down." There is nobody to call, cannot talk to a real person. I cannot get a refund until I load my card, cannot load my card. Will never use them again!

Would be great if the app actually let you deposit checks through it the way it's supposed to. Have tried several times, even updated the app but to no avail. Have looked around online for any support with it but have yet to of found anything. The ability to deposit checks through the app is what attracted me to this card.

I've never had a problem with Green Dot cards. They are even easy to set-up with Direct Deposit. Paypal acceptable and everything. Reloading Green Dot cards is easily the easiest of all reloadable cards to add money onto. They are accepted everywhere!!

I really like Green Dot and the convenience that I have being with this company. Satisfied customer. The only reason why I did give a 5 Star is because I have to go cross town to find Atm to withdraw my account.

I had to go through so much to get the service. I had to buy the card, add money to the card, pay a monthly fee for the card, then had to buy another MoneyPak Card before I could register the card. I went through a lot for it.

Overall, I am satisfied with the ease of using the card. No problem with balance issues or customer service. The monthly service fee is substantially higher than other cards, though! $7.98 plus a 3.99 reload fee equals roughly 96.00 a year! Amex is only about 60.

So far so good. At first I thought using a card like this would be a hassle and inconvenience, but tried it anyway. So far the Green Dot Card has a comfy part in my life. The only thing that is most definitely annoying is being charged to deposit money onto the card via store. Which I don't do... Other than that... Green Dot is cool with me. Green Dot has provided me and others in my family by offering an alternative to the traditional bank account. It has been easy to load the card and also to get direct deposits arranged and even more to use and receive our funds. It has been a great relief to have the use of the Green Dot card.

Card was purchased at Columbus Circle 59TH Street in NYC. Including the MANAGER at this location they do not KNOW how to scan the card through the computer. I would never buy another Green DOT CARD and the Manager in Forest Hills Duane READE is extremely rude and unprofessional.

This is a good card though I have not used it much. I bought this card from Walgreens. I registered the card the same day and after a few days, I received the official card. That was faster than I expected. Thank you guys for your good customer service.

I like the freedom with Green Dot, but you charge almost 8 dollars a month for the card and on top of that to add to it it is almost 4. Don't you think this is getting expensive? I have been a Green Dot customer for a few months now. And use it to pay bills and I am currently using it to save for my son's graduation from the Air Force. I will be using it for tickets, and room accommodations.

The way Bill Pay has changed, I do not like it... I like when I can click on the entity being paid and getting only that entity's payments in one location, not with other entities... I wish you would go back to the old bill pay way. Other than that, I love my Green Dot Card and their help in any disputes I may have... For Christmas last year, I purchased another Green Dot Card for my son to use on his family's trips to Ohio. I told him, in using the Green Dot card, he would be protecting his credit card. He loves the Green Dot card as well and sees the advantages of it. I love the Green Dot card as well as I got away from banks by using the Green Dot card. My bills are paid through my card on autopay and I know I am protected...

I think your service fees are a bit much for a prepaid card. Most lower income people use prepaid cards and it seems like you take advantage of that. You charge service fees when card is inactive. You charge service fees when less than 1000.00 is deposited. I don't think you care about your customers let alone do any demographic research, with that being said I have decided to discontinue the use of your product. I will also encourage others to find a more reasonable realistic prepaid card. Thank you.

There is not a lot of of things you can do with the card. I get email alerts late reflecting my card balance which be from the previous day. Customer service need more English speaking people because they can hardly understand and vice versa. The monthly fee is high too.

I love Green Dot but I do feel like I should be able to withdraw as much cash as I need. Other than that love it and I would refer friends to be a part of Green Dot. Also you should be able to transfer cash from your direct deposit to your credit card but overall I love it.

I have used Green Dot cards for 14 years. I have never had a single incident that has not been addressed promptly. Last year when an attempt was made to use my account number illegally, the Green Dot Team contacted me and saved me becoming an identity theft victim. I have and will continue to recommend Green Dot to others.

My pay check is direct deposited to my card and have had no issues, however I can't use it on many websites for purchases where they don't accept prepaid cards for payment even though when I've tried it I had a sufficient balance on my card. The service charge to me is high. Service charge could stay if the charge for adding money to the card was dropped. The card is great and I enjoy using it. It's accepted in a large areas on or off line for shopping. Anytime I used it I was never refused.

I've yet to hear back regarding my transaction dispute and I'd understand if there was a longer process to determining the validity. I just wish I had some idea of what and where you are in the process because it's quite a bit more than a couple bucks. Otherwise I've had no real problems with the company.

My Green Dot card is the best. No overdraft fee. You spend what you put on there and you can take of what you put on and you get your paycheck 2 days early. Green Dot is a good card to have. My money always on time.

I have the text confirmation set up for my card. It is so sporadic I get them sometimes on a regular basis, then other times not for weeks. I don't understand why, think Green Dot should offer texts every time card is used. Banks do it think you can too.

This card is a huge help to those in need of a debit card or direct deposit and cannot get one themselves at a regular bank. It does come with a price tag, which is normal for this type of service. I just wish it wasn't so expensive to use ATM's. My last bank refunded at the end of the month all ATM fees as they had very few branches. I would love to see that!

I have been trying for someone to get in touch with me from Green Dot. For over a month now twice they said a card was being sent out to me within 5 to 7 business days. I have never received anything or heard from anybody. I've sent a number of emails still no answer. I would like to know what's going on please. Thank you very much. Why would you make someone scan theirs to load a money PAC card to the Greendot account. I mean they're putting money on the card, not taking it out and then you can only load 6 dots a month wtf and in too of that I have a brother in prison and for some stupid reason I can't send him money.

Just want to say this card really helps when I have to pay bills online or over the phone. The transactions happen real fast and very convenient. It is nice to be able to keep cash and have money on the card to balance things out. Good customer service also.

My card will never let me withdrawal money from an ATM. I've tried many different places and still have not been able to get money from an ATM. Where do I have to go to take money off of my card. I am extremely disappointed in the services that I have been receiving.

I bought this card almost 3 weeks ago to make an online purchase and all I got was declined by the vendor when I tried to use this card and a big run around and no help by Green Dot customer service. So I'm using another prepaid card now from a different company that works great... Also Steve Harvey, your spokesman for Green Dot, it's just plain creepy seeing his face everywhere, you should seriously consider getting someone else for a spokesperson...

I love this card. It makes my life so much easier 'cause now I can order stuff online, pay bills and basically do what I need to do. I Don't have to worry about carrying cash and losing it. It is just so much simpler with the card plus I get any checks direct deposited on it so that is nice too.

I appreciate my card. I love my card. I upload 100% of my pay on my card. It is very convenient. I can use it anywhere. The only place I can't use it is at gas pumps. I pay all my bills with my card online and I don't ever have a problem with it.

I don't like the 7.95 monthly fee or the charge for check deposit. Would also like some additional features added. Like waiving the cash deposit fee. Other than that the card isn't bad. I have a Serve account and they only have a one dollar monthly account charge if I deposit less than 500 a month and no fees for cash deposits.

Very courteous and fast. Easy to use options and easy to use payment methods. It eliminated the majority of all my cards I had in my wallet. Also more places accept these cards than many other ones used. So thank you for the exceptional work and effort for this service.

Every single time I purchased a Green Dot I have had problems accessing my money, EVERY SINGLE TIME! The representatives all have bad understandings when you try to explain what your problems are, and I neeever get help with my problem. I will never ever ever use Green Dot again!

I like this card. I am able to reload anywhere I want and can use it to pay my bills. I always know how much it's gonna take out and the balance. No over draft ever which is a good thing. It only pays the amount that you have left in there. I forgot 1 day to check my balance and when I made a purchase it pulled what I was able to pay with the card. I like that.

I really like the idea of putting funds on the card and not carrying cash. It’s so much more convenient to use than carrying cash all the time. I'm getting ready to have my checks directly deposited to my Green Dot card. Probably one of the best decisions I've made.

This is the worst company I've ever come in contact with, can't activate the card and can't talk to customer service. Asking for my information every time I enter my information, it keeps saying the information is wrong. That's not so. l have emailed this company three times, no response. The funds been on this card for two months.

Went to load money & couldn't because it keep reading. Not accepting at this moment. Had to make several phone calls. Took a while for me to load my card. I like the card, because it very helpful. I will continue to use the card. My friends told me I would like the card.

I lost my card temporary and never got new one so what do I do and will you guys deliver to general delivery or no? I love that I can always get my balance without having to log on and when I do log on it's very easy. My account is always very accurate. I receive my paycheck before most of my coworkers who bank elsewhere. I have had no problems at all with banking with Green Dot.

I will never have a bank account again. I get my check two days sooner with direct deposit to my Green Dot card. Reloading at the register can be a tad expensive but the ease and convenience is worth it. Love my Green Dot card.

I really like how fast direct deposit goes in with paychecks. The only thing is, the debit cards look a little weak. They need to be redesigned to look more current. They just seem dated and plain. But all together you guys are great.

I think it's very useful in some situations. I just think you guys have way too many fees especially when you take out your own cash! Bad enough we have to get charged to even put cash on it. But I use it all time and my monthly should be waived sometimes.

Have had Green Dot for years. Always been taken care of. Only ever had 1 problem when they kept sending my replacement card to my parents' house over and over again. Any other problems were taken care of right away. Tried other banks and had problems so I keep using them.

I've used Green Dot for many years. I was a gold club member till I moved away from TN and lost my card. I never paid over $5 to charge my card. This new card not only charges me $10. Every time I load my card, but you all get a $1.00 for each purchase. I've always loved and stood behind Green Dot. But this new card is very expensive and I will only now use Green Dot as I have to...

I have really enjoyed having good access to funds but I feel like the fees get you and I have no job right now so I'm always having to load without direct deposit and that's hectic. It seems like if I were to use my card everyday then I would be better to not have many fees.

So far the only problem I have had with Green Dot is overdrafts and the fact that it cost me money to use maybe a reduction in the cost of reloading would be nice. Overall I would recommend this card.

I've had a really good experience with my Green Dot card. The only complaint that I would say I have issues with would be with the monthly charge being raised to $7.95 a month. I currently am not working so I don't have my direct deposit anymore. So when I need to pay my bills that $7.95 is there waiting to get paid... only other issue would be that I have yet to find a charge-free atm around my area to take money off my card when I do have money on my card tomorrow withdraw. Other than that I've had a great experience and it's made paying bills a lot easier for me.

I use Green Dot cards daily. They are the easiest to reload in my opinion but I wish there were not monthly usage charges and reload charges. Both charges are a burden. Should only charge one or the other, or offer some sort of plan without the monthly fee if you load so much money.

The card has been amazing and I'm glad I chose it! I have another card as well and I use it for my daughter so that she can have money when we are not home. It's very convenient because we aren't home that much and I just put money on a MoneyPak card and then she's got money.

I would like my transactions text to me everyday so I know when I get hacked... I got hacked at gas pump in Lake Charles at Busy Bee at gas pump. Got wiped out showing I was getting tank after tank! So didn't get money back.

I love using my Green Dot card to shop with online. The only thing I do not like is that the monthly fee is too high. I don't think it should be anymore than maybe $5.00 if there was one. We already pay a fee to have to load the card every time so why do we have to pay a monthly fee also?

I am relatively new to this card but, with a few key exceptions, I have been satisfied. I think early direct deposit is the main reason I've kept Green Dot Card. This is wonderful! To have access to my money over a full day early is great. I haven't appreciated having to pay $10/month. I would gladly forfeit the yearly $100 back in order to end the monthly $10 automatic payment I am forced to pay. I think something should be done about this requirement.

I've used Green Dot Reloadable Debit for years and have had a good experience with them. A couple times, one recently about a month ago, I lost my card. Green Dot expedited a new card upon my request and even waived the shipping costs. I also find that I am getting my direct deposit a day and half earlier than my payday which is very convenient for me. Among all the other reloadable debit cards, I would choose Green Dot over them and definitely recommend them to another person.

I recently used my Green Dot card to pay a bill. The company deleted the payment for me and informed me that my bank should return the funds to my card within 3-5 days. That was 7 days ago. I contacted consumer service and was told that I would have to wait another 7 days on a transaction that is pending. I in turn ask to speak with a supervisor, which was denied. I was then asked to 3 way a call with the company in which the payment was going. This was a disaster. The company asked the green dot representative for a fax to fax a letter of refund. No fax number available. Then asked for an email which was never given. I asked to speak with a supervisor again. Was still denied. Needless to say I got frustrated and ugly and was then told a supervisor would call me back. So I am looking at my 254 pending to my account but won't be released to me. SMH.

I have never had any problems with Green Dot. I like the services you offer. Every time I call customer service they are friendly and helpful. I wish I was able to get cash advances or pay day loans put on my card but you can only do that if you have a regular bank account.

The card itself is great. Haven't had any issues. I get my paycheck 1 day early! The app on the other hand is terrible. I cannot login. It tells me my password is incorrect every time. I tried to reset my password, that doesn't work either. So now to get my balance, recent transactions and so on I have to call the card. If you fix that I'll be a happy camper.

You have changed your fees and gotten rid of the charge fee for direct deposit. Also for some reason it doesn't work at certain locations like greenbox. The cash back features are difficult to use. I still haven't figured it out. I'm not a credit card person that's why I got this card but some things need to be better explained to newcomers.

You never know when the service fee is going to be taken out. You think you have money on your card until you figure out that they took the fee and then you're in the negative. Other than the service fee being taken whenever they feel like the card is pretty good.

I would recommend anyone to obtain the Green Dot card. It is great for any purchase and have never had a problem with it. You can purchase securely online as well as any retail outlet. It can be reloaded at most any store or you can have direct deposit. Either way, this card is great to have.

I have been using Green Dot cards for a while now. Just recently I started using it for direct deposit payroll. I have not experienced any problems with using my card. The only thing I disagree with is the .50 charge to check a balance and being charges by the card as well as the atm for a withdrawal. I think there should be more options as to an atm that works with Green Dot bank to help avoid double charging. Being charged by atm is enough then being charged by the card's bank also.

Too high. It costs $4.95 to even put money on the card and $4.95 service fee taken out every single month. This is disturbing when I think that I have money left on my card to hit the "dollar menu" at McDonald's. However, I love and use this card for special occasions such as out of town uses.

Green Dot provides the BEST prepaid debit cards of the companies. They're user friendly. They clearly state fees and they clearly state how to use their card. It's a good choice. I like their Bill Pay service. Compared to others, their service provides to me ways to pay that others do not. Their Bill Pay allows a Green Dot user to centralize their payments all in one place. Additionally, their alert reminders are fantastic and helpful too.

Green Dot card is a very good card. It's easy to use and it's so easy to load money on to when I need to. Very convenient. Myself and my boyfriend and his friends love the card, you can swipe it anywhere and it's no problem, very easy. I love Green Dot.

I was excited at first to receive the Green Dot card, after hearing about it on the radio being promoted by Steve Harvey. Sadly to say I recently stop my drafts to the card when I noticed a $10,00 monthly card. I do have a regular bank account card.

I receive Disability on it and everything works out great with the card. Bill payments etc... I love the easy use of the card. But I would prefer an card with a chip in it. I feel they are more secure.

I have find my Green Dot card very handy and convenient to use. I have the ease of adding money almost anytime I want so I can be well prepared to utilize the buying power of my debit card. I wouldn't be without it unless there's a good substitute.

After writing a review regarding a problem I had with online banking I was contacted by someone to discuss the situation. This person wanted to fully understand what happened and why it happened. He went above and beyond to resolve my problem and to make things right. He noted other concerns I had. I am very pleased with this experience.

The online bill pay used to be great. They changed the system. It takes multiple payments. Last week it took all my money and I had no money for the week because it sent duplicate payments even though I cancelled them and call to be sure they were cancelled. You can't look up payments to anyone anymore so I have no way of seeing how much I paid to a person or place. I will be closing my account asap. The customer service is awful. None of them know what they are doing. The fees are a rip off. Green Dot is awful. I imagine that they will be getting sued. I expect to see a class action settlement from them someday.

I don't mind the monthly charges but to be charged 2 dollars for every ATM use... I'll be looking for a new bank some time soon. The card is accepted basically everywhere I shop but a couple of them only accept debit and having to pay the extra 2 dollars really adds up. Even if there was a change, like the first 5 are fee free, that would make a big difference.

I use the debit card for online and it's awesome. I don't have to use my original bank card and easy to reload the card and I usually use it to buy stuff in town like convenient stores, use for fueling up, buy something that I need. I'm glad it doesn't have overdraft fee.

I am appalled at the monthly charges and the extra fees added on top of everything. I will find another way of doing instead of using this card! I load money, go to use it, and be totally embarrassed when told "Denied"! All due to charges and fees!!! Shameful!!!

I was refunded monthly fees that Green Dot Card was charging for having and account with them, I explained, I only need the card for my son to transfer money to me that he owed. However, I received a call addressing my concerns and the issue was resolved to my satisfaction.

The only reason I got a Green Dot Card, is because my son owes me money, he has his account with Green Dot. I have my own bank account and it's not Green Dot. I am really upset that when my son puts money on my card, you take $9.95 monthly service fee, before I can get the money, then I have to pay $3.00 when taking the money. I don't think it right, you take the money. You are DOUBLE DIPPING. That's just wrong.

So far so good. I think the app could use a couple more options a little more Account Details I guess I can say. But other than that I'm happy with the convenience of the card. I understand why you have to charge a fee. I just wish I didn't have to pay fee and actually I did have one question. Does my direct deposit count as my as money towards my fee waiver?

Reliable, convenient re-load and ATM locations are everywhere. Customer service representatives are courteous, knowledgeable and prompt. The mobile app is great and simple to use. Overall the only minor issue with the service is the $4.95 charge for every single re-load, I feel as though there could be some sort of price break for consistency on the customer's part. Otherwise I'm pleased and would recommend Green Dot to anyone!!! Thanks for the simplicity.

More disclosure of ATM fees and free ATM locations. It's frustrating to find out you're being charged twice, especially when you're budgeting. Maybe a reminder by email or phone. Maybe weekly or monthly email alerts, text or snail mail. Other than that love the convenience of the card. I've been using Green Dot for some time and use it everyday.

The card account does everything it says it'll do... I opened an account for my son in addition to my own so money can go directly to him while starting college. I must add, receiving my weekly paycheck early always seems to come in really handy. I'd recommend Green Dot to anyone.

I was recently charged a monthly maintenance fee on my card and I get over the amount in direct deposits and transactions. The money was replaced the next business day but the money was wrongfully taken on day when I desperately needed money. It was very hurtful to have to wait for money that should not have been taken anyway. I have not had a chance to go back and see if I was mischarged in prior months but I feel I might have considering it just recently happened.

My experience with Green Dot is wonderful. I love that my direct deposit is always available to me 2 days in advance. I have never had a problem with my card. Even when I have to add money to my card, I never have any problems. I will definitely recommend to everyone to get a Green Dot card.

Approximately one year ago I had to travel across country and had an impossible time with out of country people that would not give me an English speaking person or a USA phone number. I called several weeks and the address was incorrect. One too many 5s. I waited over a month and did NOT have access to any money. I was extremely upset with the events that followed. I have used your card for years and never had an issue with replacement cards being expressed to me.

This is the best card! I love how I can have direct deposit and can write checks without an actual savings or checking account. Paying bills is so simple using the account numbers given to me. I like Green Dot. Getting paid every Wednesday is great, except for holidays, have to wait until Thursday. Need to know, what time I get paid. It makes a big difference. The opportunity to use Green Dot and the services they may offer is great. Need to put a time on when the money is on the card.

I pay monthly fees and I have to pay 2.50 every time I make a withdrawal. There is no Free for Green Dot atms anywhere. I pay almost 20 dollars extra just on atm withdrawals. Coming from someone who gets paid cash it almost makes you not want to reload.

Since late last month, I am having trouble getting access to my current account by texting 43-411. I am just getting randomized messages from my accounts that are not current. In other words, I am not receiving any current status balances on my request.

I Have had numerous unauthorized charges and problem with my account and the only response is to issue a new card. In Feb 2017 there were numerous accounting problems and they still have not provided proof or verification, they say they will resolve and send a written explanation but never get one. They don't keep your information safe. I have used wrong name on purpose. The charge goes thru.

I had to call you all 5 times and the issue still not resolved. I was trying to make a payment with my card as I normally do and the card kept declining and saying my card is not active. I was unable to make my payment today and I am very upset and I deposited funds on my card to make the payment. Whatever code you all are to enter so I can make a JPay payment you guys still have not put it in. This is causing problems for me. The rep was unable to assist me with resolving this issue nor was the supervisor. Wow and I thought your card was the best. I only got your card to make these bill payments. I am not satisfied.

I love GreenDot! I get my paycheck a day early, and there are not a million different fees like all the other prepaid cards out there. I will never get another prepaid card again, and trust me I've tried almost all of them. Easy to use, so little restrictions. I love my GreenDot service!

I have had a great experience with it. I've never had any problems with it and it's great for paying bills and the cash back reward on it's great! The app is super user friendly and I couldn't even tell you what to add to the all because it's great!

I have never received any rewards and there isn't a live person to discuss it with. I have called several times. All you get is an automated computer. I also haven't received any rewards or any information on it. That was the entire reason I got this type of card.

Person barely spoke English on top of nothing was resolved regarding my transfer balance. Only thing decent about the call was I found out I had other open accounts and now need to work on figuring out how to close them. Your customer service centers are the worst experience I've ever in my life paid to contribute to. Seriously you're an American company. Employ people in our country!!!

Green Dot is a great card to have for emergencies and for my children. I have a certain amount direct deposited to my account every 2 weeks. If my kids have a field trip or anything, the card goes with them instead of cash. However, would love the monthly service fee to be waived if you have direct deposit.

I don't like the fact that Green Dot charges a ATM fee and then having the ATM charge a fee also on top of it. I'm spending anywhere from 5 to 8 dollars just to take out 20 dollars. That's almost half of what I'm taking out. I work hard for the little money I get then have to pay double just to use my own money.

Not the first time I have had to call and I hate having to call Customer Service. It's the worst ever. I wish I would be able to speak with Customer Service that was in the US. I will be moving my account as soon as I receive my replacement card so I can get my money out of the Green Dot Bank.

I really love Green Dot. I tell all my friends to get one. I can call them and they help me with all my question and I like when they text me and let me know when money get put on my card and when I talk to someone they are so nice and help feel I would change them for nothing.

I recommend Green Dot waive fees when 2 direct deposits from an employer or social security or other benefits get waived during a pay period, for example, bi-weekly. This way it could save the cardholder a little bit of money every month and it would. Plus give the cardholder an incentive if they have 2 direct deposits from their employer an extra $50 per pay period that gets deposited in the account.

I really like Green Dot! The only thing is I get my pay check two days early but I wish I get my funds in the morning and not late in the evening. (Sorry for being picky). And I wish I can pay some of my bills thru their website with my account so they can go thru right away (the account number is too long so it won't work) because some of my bills take too long to receive and won't make it on time through GD bill pay. Can we have different card designs and perks like cash back?

This is a very reliable card. I'm able to pay bills over the phone and make purchases very easy. I also love that my direct deposit is available days before payday which is always right on time and that I can always add money very easy if I need to.

It has been a joy having my payroll deposited directly and funds being available 1-2 days before my pay day! Able to use the card online and in stores. Always prompt and courteous customer service. We use our card almost every day! It is incredibly fast to load and easy to use. Customer service is very friendly. I can use this card for anything from online shopping to paying for gas and groceries. No overdraft fees or penalties for anything.

Well my experience with Green Dot has been great. The only thing I don't think is good is the limit to use MoneyPak to reload your card. That would be my only complaint but besides that I am very happy with my card.

I've been using Green Dot for about 5 years now and have never had a single issue. It's far more consistent and much safer than any bank I've ever used. I also love that EVERYONE accepts Green Dot. The only bummer is that I can't use my card as "credit" at gas stations that don't accept debit. Otherwise I highly recommend Green Dot.

Enjoy adding money to card and using it to make purchases online and when traveling. As this card only has the money you add to it, I feel secure using it without feeling someone will steal the number and try to use it fraudulently. They can only get what amount is on the card and no more.

I really like that I can get direct deposit but also can load money at so many stores instead of having to find a specific bank. I like the flexibility and that it can be used to purchase online or in store items. It's so easy to use for my kid’s games, Christmas shopping, when we go out to eat or out of town.

There's a lot of inaccurate charges. Or refunds that were supposed to be made and were immediately charged back or never refunded when the company had specifically said to have submitted the refund. Also several charges were made with my authorization.

I feel you should be able to use any ATMs machine without a charge use atm that was in the network. I was charge a fee. I feel I should not have been double charge but other than that I am ok with the card.

I usually buy a gift card with a VISA logo at my financial institution. It is not reloadable. There is no fee to activate. I bought a credit card from Green Dot. It is reloadable. There was $1.95 fee to activate. There was a $4.95 fee to reload. There was a $7.95 monthly fee. It is excessive fees. I will return to my financial institution to buy a gift card tomorrow.

I don't have a credit card, so when I go on vacation I load up this card so I have another option in case my debit card is flagged. It worked perfectly in 2016, a hotel was not able to get my debit card to make the payment. So I used the Green Dot. This year I paid for the hotel room with it. Thanks!

I love having this card but I see small charges being taken out but don’t use my card for such types of transactions. Eg: $1.15, $1.23, $.98, etc and so on. Also when I get my balance updates daily they do not reflect actual balance as of the time the update says, it’s usually the balance from 2 to 3 days earlier.

Green Dot is super easy to use especially when my boyfriend is out of town and we need to send each other money. I also like Green Dot because it is really easy to load money onto my card or my boyfriend’s card. Also a plus that we can load a certain amount before we allow our children to go to the mall or movies with friends and they have a set spending limit and do not have to carry cash.

I dislike that when I go to have funds deposited on my card to pay a bill that I am charged for the deposit. Also, I routinely have a small amount directly deposited onto my card and the monthly card fee almost takes half of the direct deposit???

I experienced fraud on the card I listed above and the customer service rep was rude and seemed annoyed with my questions. I answered all his questions and I double checked to make sure he had all the information needed to start the investigation. The very next day I get an email requesting that I send all the information I provided over the phone to an email. I don't believe that is fair because I provided all of the information needed over the phone so I don't see why I have to resend the same information.
Here is a copy of the text I responded to the email with, "Gave this information to the man on the phone. I shouldn't have to go through all of this to start a dispute. Your cards are not secured and now you want me to send you all the information I gave your representative over the phone. I don't have time to give you information over and over again per your request. It's your job to investigate not mine. I gave you the information needed via telephone. Also isn't this money insured? Why is it so hard for me to get my money back or to even contact you all regarding the situation? It sure doesn't take this long for you to take my money."

For the past month I have been have problems getting balance and history on by phone. Finally spoke with someone that help me to get balance but now I still can't get history. Now it is saying having problems fetching inquiry. This is very inconvenient.

Customer service is slow and a lot of the time I can't understand them because of their accent. I also have had issues with charges or money disappear and they could not explain why. First set of cards did not make it to me and then they had to cancel and make me wait longer for the next set. Overall I am very disappointed and the only reason I continue to use them is because my check is direct deposited into my account there.

This company Green Dot doesn't seem to follow any of the federal or state guidelines to fraudulent claims. I've been waiting well over 16 business days for a provisional credit and sadly had to file a complaint with the FTC and Federal Reserve to address this issue.

Therefore what happens? I was however able to connect PayPal to its service. Yet the charge for their service is way too much. I added $25.00 and then Walmart charged me $3.57 to add it. I think all card services charge way too much.

I've been with Green Dot for about six years and am very satisfied. I recently took a trip across country and used my card without any problems; it was accepted everywhere. I also have direct deposit and, again, never a problem. I've recommended your card to several friends and even my son has one.

I love my Green Dot card!!! It's so convenient for me. My funds are usually available 2 days before my payday which is wonderful to me considering I get paid once a month. Thanks Green Dot card! I will always use my card and I'm always telling someone else about the card. This is the best thing ever!
