Should have read the reviews before ordering!! I ordered in Nov. for Christmas presents. It is 12/13, too late to send to friends and according to reviews the stuff is fake. I would never gift a fake perfume. Not sure how to return but never again. I can't believe how badly this company treats its customers. Scammers.

I recently ordered a 3.4 oz bottle of Escape by Calvin Klein. Escape is my signature scent and I have been wearing it for many years. I received the perfume on time. Immediately I knew it was a fake. The box is not the same the lettering, color everything. Also the bottle itself is really cheap glass shaped different and not heavy and predominate like the real bottle I have. The color of the perfume in the bottle is much darker than the original and at first spray it was nothing like the original. It slowly started to smell similar to the original, however you can definitely tell it's not Escape. Also it wore off very quickly. If you have ever worn Escape you will know it is a very strong and lasting perfume.
I find this very disappointing since FragranceNet listed the perfume as 100% Authentic. The perfume is definitely a fake and I should have listened when I read the reviews saying not to buy from this company. I hope I can save one person from making the mistake I did by giving this company a chance. I will not buy from this company again.

I placed order on Sunday night. I usually get in 2-3 days but this time when I track my order it says label created, no update on it. So I called them yesterday, waited for 1 hour on the phone. Lady picks up and tells me that order has been left the warehouse, "we can't do nothing about it." I thought it did but it didn't. I called Fedex and they told me they don't have the order because it was never scanned by fedex. So I try to call them today and it says all lines are busy, it won't let me speak to no one. Bunch of theft and liars. Never buying anything from them again.

I purchased a 3.4 oz bottle of Eternity perfume. This is the first time doing so online. I was nervous because in the past I heard bad reviews about ordering perfume online, but I read so many good reviews and the company boasts an A++ rating with the Better Business Bureau so I thought I would try it out. The order was smooth and came on time as promised. The box was wrapped and looked authentic. But as soon as I sprayed it, I knew it was fake. It smelled more like alcohol than perfume. And it wore off within a half hour. And I have worn Eternity for years so I know this product well. Even the next day the perfume smell will be on your clothing. But this smelled nothing like Eternity. I just came across this site to see if anyone else had any issues with their purchases and I see so many people saying the same thing I've experienced. I'll be contacting my bank for a refund and going back to only buying in store.

I had ordered a bottle of Armani Diamonds. And though it arrived in a timely fashion, when I opened it, was almost clear from being diluted so much! The one I still had was an amber color. (I still had some left in another bottle to compare). So then I sprayed some on. Within the hour, the scent was gone! NEVER AGAIN!

I purchased a bottle of Narcisco perfume on November 10, 2015. What I received was a bottle of already USED perfume with sticky tape goop all on the bottle. On November 11, I contacted FragranceNet.com via email with my complaint. I received a prompt reply with a return label to print out. I immediately returned the bottle on November 12th. I have called their customer service on several occasions and am left on hold, only to hear a message that they are experiencing a high volume of phone calls. I have emailed FragranceNet.com at least five times requesting an update on my refund. No answer from my emails. Now I have to contact my bank and file a claim to recover my money. Awful customer service!!!

I have been ordering from FragranceNet.com for at least 3 years now and have loved every single thing that I have purchased, other than the fragrances that were on sale that I had never smelled before, but decided to try just because they sounded like they would smell good and were on sale at very inexpensive prices. Therefore, I have only disliked two purchases that I had made but that was only due to not smelling them before buying, which was my own fault. Even the packaging on the testers are brand spanking new. You can tell that none of them have EVER been used before. They look exactly like the testers came straight out of a department store, but have never been used before. I would be able to tell because that is the first thing that I look for every single time.
I do not know why so many people are giving this website such bad reviews but EVERYTHING that I have bought smells just like the perfumes that I have bought from the department stores, EXACTLY! The ONLY thing that I can think of is that you may be purchasing the eau de toilette Spray. I ONLY purchase their Parfum Sprays because they are MUCH better and stay on longer. The smell is a little stronger because it is not just scented water like the eau de toilette sprays are. To me, if it is not at least the spray parfum, I will not even purchase it. That is more like purchasing a body spray, if you will, in my opinion.
Anyhow, I've never had any issues with their shipping OR the quality of their products and trust me on this one. Although I know that is asking a lot since you all do not know me. :) I am a total perfume junky and have purchased from just about every store that you can think of, even Saks Fifth Avenue. FDN's perfumes smell like the REAL DEAL to me. I get compliments all of the time on the perfumes that I purchase from them too. People have told me that I even smell really good at the end of my shift at work too. Sorry this is so lengthy. However, thank you for at least taking the time to read this. Good luck to everyone!

I've been rolling the dice for years on eBay ordering Bond No. 9 fragrances and always came out a winner. This was my first time ordering from the FragranceNet store on eBay and this bottle was fake. The label on the front of the bottle is not as elaborate as a real label, and the "perfume" is pretty much all alcohol -- fades to dust in a matter of minutes for what is normally a pretty strong scent. After this incident, I realized that I had ordered a fake Creed scent from FrangranceNet.com a couple of years ago and got my money back. Terrible site, not worth the risk. I have a feeling some people who don't know any better are actually fooled because their packaging although not perfect, is pretty elaborate.

I have just rung TNT - the couriers used by FragranceNet. Seven times to try to find my order. The tracking order they give is never correct. I stupidly ordered more products that I can't get here, they have $450 of my money and I have no paperwork to prove I've placed an order. I have sent them an email asking for confirmation of my order and the tracking no. But so far have heard nothing back. I cannot buy some of the products here, and to be fair have had no trouble except some of the products have been off. I am a make-up artist and qualified beautician, and I like to be able to buy testers as I go through so much product.

Lasts about an hour compared to 12 hours with the real thing. I don't know how they are doing this, but there is no way this is real Terre D'Hermes. Van Cleef for over ten years was my sole perfume and still is. Not understanding why the same eau de toilette I ordered from them never lasted more than one hour and never really left a scent. I purchased a Van Cleef eau de toilette at the Paris airport and suddenly I started receiving compliments again about the wonderful scent and decided to compare the two bottles. Theirs is of a much lighter color and the perfume not nearly as pungent as the one I purchased in Paris. Are their fragrances diluted? Is it why the cost is lower? I still have one of the Van Cleef bottles I purchased barely open and will have someone more experienced and better equipped than I am to look into it but right now after reading all the reviews there is no doubt that they are selling watered down perfume which they must diluting while preparing.

I was thing about reselling their product line as a wholesaler. I already own two other business online that make great money now. So I filled out all the paperwork and was accepted to resell for them. Before I resell for them I ask if I could see the wholesale pricing list. They told me, "No, not until you sign up and you can see it in your account." (OK) I called in to ask some question. Over 1 hour wait on hold and when the girl got on the phone she was very rude and short with me. You could hear the stress in her voice.
So I log in to my account so I could see the wholesale pricing list and I could not see any profit to be made from their product(s). I did a fake order like I was a customer and did a fake order like I was a wholesaler. The only difference was $1.00 (wholesale pricing list right) and they charge reseller for shipping and handling. Pricing start at $5.00 and up per order. Now here the catch -- they offer free shipping to their customer.
So I call them back and ask, "How am I going to make money from your product line when you're only offering a wholesaler $1.00 off and charging me shipping and giving the shipping away for free to your customer (in a very rude voice, pricing non-negotiable)?" I told her, "How can I compete with fragrancenet because they would be one of my own competitor (in a very rude voice, pricing non-negotiable)?" NOTE: So in all I passed on working with them and canceled my account.NOTE: If a wholesaler sell to the public IT'S NOT WORTH WORKING WITH THEM.

I know for a fact, "real" Bvlgari lasts forever! Even after you shower, you can still smell it. Bought "Clean Laundry" bath gel, wrote a review complaining that the soap had no fragrance and I also wrote FragranceNet customer service advising them I thought their vendor was sending them fakes. I spent about $80, got a receipt and haven't heard anything from the company for 2 weeks. Then I sent them a letter asking about the status of my order. Next day I got a reply saying that my order was processed, but not ready to be shipped yet, and I would be notified when they ship.
A few days later they sent me an email that there was an attempted delivery. I provided business address for delivery, and they allegedly attempted to deliver on Saturday. There was no attempted delivery notice left, nothing. I contacted the company asking for either delivery or money back, and got a reply that they need 10 days to process either. They also said that my package is with the local post office, though it was supposed to be delivered by FedEx.
A couple of days later they sent me another message that there was another attempted delivery during weekdays and business was closed. This is all bs, the business is opened Monday through Friday from 9:30am to 6pm, and at the time of alleged attempted delivery it was definitely opened, and there were at least 10 people in the office to accept the package. Again, no attempted delivery notice was left, nothing. I tried contacting post office and schedule another delivery. It was supposed to be last Thursday, but nothing was delivered. I placed my order on march 20, and it's already April 11, and I have not received my order. I think this company is a scheme, nothing was shipped, they just take your money and you get nothing in return. FragranceNet might have discounted prices, but pray you wont have any inconveniences with your order or need their assistance, you'll be doomed. If you take into account the cost of inconveniences and your lost time, you'll end up paying much more than your products original/MRS price. This is my sad story: First time I purchased with FragranceNet. I ordered 2 perfumes. The order was placed on April 4, 2015. I needed the order to be delivered to me by April 10, 2015, because one of the perfumes was a gift for a dear family member who was leaving the U.S. on April 11, 2015. To ensure this, and to allow FragranceNet enough time for the shipping, I signed up for a membership with ShopRunner, since they offered 2 day shipping, which in FragranceNet representative words its the fastest shipping method we offer.
On April 7, I checked the status of my order online, and it said On Hold. They had sent me an email on April 6 asking for additional information on my credit card, such as the issuers customer service number and where I worked (first time this has ever happened to me)! They had my phone number, didn't care to call. I provided the needed info and on April 8, the order was still On Hold. Given my urgency, I tried to call 800-PARFUMS (727-3867) several times but I couldn't get through. It disconnected as soon as I dialed, as if the line wasnt active.
The last option I had was to contact a representative through their Live Chat. I explained my situation and they released the order. I wanted them to assure me that the order would be delivered in 2 days (April 10) but they said that wasn't possible, the order would be delivered in 2 business days after it was processed. Hence, it would have reached me earliest April 13, since the order took 24-48 hours to process. I asked FragranceNet to expedite the matter and process my order the same day (April 8) so that it was delivered by April 10. I asked for someone who could help me escalate the issue and speed up the process. Apparently, FragranceNet cannot do that, they cannot prioritize urgent matters and process the order within the next 7 working hours (it was 10 am I was chatting with them). I find this unbelievable.
What I find even more unbelievable is that apparently, they cannot modify orders or take responsibility and compensate their customers. I asked for them to charge me for only 1 perfume and cancel the gift as it wasn't going to make it on time. They couldn't do that; I could only cancel the complete order. Secondly, I asked for a refund of the ShopRunner membership I opened for FragranceNet, and they said that couldn't be done either. All they could do is grant me a 10% off coupon for the inconvenience. Thirdly, I asked for a working phone number; they gave me the same useless inactive number that doesn't work. End of story: I ended up with no farewell gift for my family member, a canceled order, 3 hours of my life wasted, and a 10% coupon. I shop online a lot and apart from Motorola and their Motorola Credit, this is the worst shopping experience I've ever had.

I ordered a perfume at Fragrancenet, I paid perfume, I paid shipping costs and I paid VAT (21% of perfume cost plus shipping cost). My order is arrived at Amsterdam, Netherlands, but it is already 4 days at customs clearance, because Fragrancenet kept for themselves the VAT, and now they tell me I must pay VAT myself. In other words, I must pay twice VAT. Since VAT does not exist in the US, why Fragrancenet did charge me 21% VAT?? I am really disappointed to be fooled by Fragrancenet, to be misleaded: if you read Fragrancenet promise:
*All Duties/Taxes are included in your shipping cost. You will NOT be subject to further Duties/Taxes.
This is what they "promise" but then you hear from the customs clearance, that the VAT is not paid yet, just because Fragrancenet kept that money for themselves. Well, they fooled my once, and just once.

Sites like these should be removed from the internet. I placed an order online with FragranceNet.com on the 4th of February and by today, the 10th, it still hadn't shipped. I sent an email 2 days ago...that was ignored obviously by other comments I see on here. So I decided to call and find out, after being on hold a better part of an hour, that my items are no longer in stock and I will not receive them in time for Valentine's day. This is such a scam. If I hadn't called they never would have contacted me and just kept my money. This is an awful business practice and their website should be shut down!

I placed an order for a Creed Flacon and J'adore tester. They gave me a 20 percent discount. I paid $289.58 for both. My order arrived late. Once I received the package and inspect it, I realized they were fakes. I took them to Neiman Marcus to confirm. The metal emblem on the Creed Flacon came off. I thought it was because of the cold but it was not. I requested a RMA and it was sent to me in a timely matter.
I returned their merchandise and I have confirmation from Fedex that they have received it. It's going on 3 weeks since they received the package and every time I call customer service to see what's going on with my refund, I am placed on hold for over a half hour with no luck. The call drops, and after hours you can only place new orders if you do get a hold of a agent. I am extremely angry and I want my money back ASAP!! They got their product, now I need my money!

I wish I had read all these reviews BEFORE ordering anything from FragranceNet.com. Many years ago, I bought several bottles of expensive perfumes from them and back then, their customer service was great. However, nearly 2 weeks ago I used a couple of FragranceNet.com gift cards that I received over the holidays to order a couple of perfumes and other cosmetic items. Well, first they placed my order on hold and refused to release it until I called them to confirm information that was already provided in my order form. That took a few days to straighten out, and I was told that two of my items were on back order and that the company does not send out partial orders. The rep on the phone promised me a 10% discount for the inconvenience of waiting for my order longer than usual, and told me to check my gift cards for the credit.
Ten days later, there has been no credit and my items have not yet been shipped. I've written multiple email messages to which there is never a response, and having called several times in the past week has only wasted my time as the hold times have been over 15 minutes without anyone picking up. Their auto-response message says that I should call back during regular business hours, when I was actually calling during those same hours! This infuriating experience assures that I will never buy from or recommend this company again.

I still have not received a refund for my purchase and continue to call and be put on hold for extreme amounts of time. Unfortunately my purchase confirmation was deleted (I had received the product and didn't realize it was fake). I ordered a relatively expensive perfume (Armani Si) which I had sampled in a store. It lasted a long time, and I especially loved the scent after it faded a bit (approximately 6-8 hours). When I saw the product for much less money on fragrancenet.com, I purchased it immediately. I received the order in a timely manner, and it smelled ok (not as good as I remembered though), but I was extremely disappointed by how quickly it faded. Seriously, I don't think it lasted even 1/2 hour!!! I didn't put 2 and 2 together (thinking that perhaps it was a knockoff) until I was considering purchasing another scent from this company, and started reading online reviews (most importantly, this Consumer Affairs site).
Another interesting thing I noticed was that the "official" sizes of the perfumes were slightly different than the ones on fragrancenet.com's website. That raised a red flag for me. I realize that discount prices can be found on most items, but they are usually not as steep as the discounts that fragrancenet offers. Now I understand why. I will NEVER purchase from that website again. I'm glad I only made that mistake once. At this point it's too late to take any action (such as trying to return my perfume), but I hope other people will be conscientious of deals that seem too good to be true.

I was a first time user on fragrance.net, wanting to purchase a perfume they don't sell in stores anymore. Well, I was please that I found it and they were having a 25% off sale with a coupon/promo code. You were eligible for free shipping if you spent $59+. Who wouldn't be happy about that! I decided to go to my coupon guru site, retailmenot.com, to see if there were any alternative coupons; just in case. I found one that offered 21% Off Complete Order + Free Shipping. Being an avid online shopper of Kohls.com, I assumed the free shipping would be included in the promo code should I use it, like Kohls.com does. I was apparently very wrong.
I called Customer Service number provided and was on hold for over 30 minutes (no hold music, just the same phrase being repeated over and over while I listen to my thoughts) only to be greeted by the most heinous customer service representative I've ever dealt with. It takes a lot to make me angry and I just wanted to question the coupon code as retailmenot did not have a disclaimer about it. Also, side note, their site does not have a review order page before charging my card. I had NO idea what my card was charged until I received the confirmation email minutes later. Which is how I knew the coupon code was NOT what it said it was going to.
I told her of my frustration and instead of trying to calmly explain, she took it upon herself to ream me a new one, and argue with me about the coupon code. That's not why I was calling. She was SO rude, I cancelled my order. She got even more upset with me and proceeded to argue. I said, "You know what, just cancel it please", and she said "FINE" like a 5 year old and hung up on me. Thankfully, I received the email minutes later showing my order was cancelled. I just, I've never been treated that way before by anyone in customer service. Needless to say Frangrance.net I will probably NEVER use your site again thanks to that very unhappy, dreadful woman; of course she refused to provide a name.

The price with the discount came to $83.58. However, the surprise came at the checkout. The only thing I would change is the sketchiness of their telephone numbers not working... This is weird. Great deal! Came on time, I'd recommend!

I ordered a fragrance. The return policy dictates I get an RMRA number from Fragrancenet.com. There is no answer at their phone number and I emailed them without success. I will call my credit card service but I would like the vendor to honor their return policy.

I have used this site for years with great results till the last few orders. The smell of my very expensive perfume goes away almost instantly as well as they have raised the prices. I don't go to malls very often but the site claims that they are up to 50% off store prices which is very untrue. They are actually higher!!! I'm so pissed I can't see straight... I'll never use this site again & everyone should be aware of their fake product & high prices!

Ripoff. I ordered Gio Armani Diamonds for women. What arrived was obviously sitting on a shelf somewhere until it rotted. What a huge disappointment! I tried contacting the company by phone (on perpetual hold), email (would not accept the complaint form on their site) and fax (no response). Hmm, that makes me smell a rat! I turned them into the BBB. I will never order from them again. We'll see what happens.

I bought 3 very expensive perfumes, Eau de toilette of O de Lancome. Two of them were for presents and one was for me. I have been using this perfume long enough to know that its fragrance does not disappear easily. Just with a little spray, the aroma stays all day in your skin and dresses. I have no idea what they put inside that perfectly packaged container, but definitely, it was not eau de toilette. In a second, the smells dissipates, leaving your clothes totally free of perfume. I was very embarrassed when my friends commented that the perfume was "estrange", meaning no smell.
I love to buy things in the Internet and never have had a problem before. People as dishonest as the Fragrancenet makes you suspicious of everyone else, and that is not good for anyone's business. Although I sent a complaint to the company, I have never received an answer. Therefore, the advertisement of "satisfaction guaranteed" is also no true.

On the 6th, 8th and 11th, I placed 3 orders over the internet. I have been ordering my perfume from this company for many years with no problem, though I have read some bad reviews of goods not arriving. These were ordered in time for Xmas presents. They were a total of $244.20. I did not pursue the problem of them not turning up till 7/1/11 as I do not like harassing people and presumed they were tied up somewhere. The first reply from them was from Leanne who said it was a custom related matter and they would arrive.
Meantime, I rang our customs and they said things do not sit with them for that long. I rang our post office as they do not deliver any item parcel without a signature (they have no record of these arriving). As these were promised Xmas presents, I then re-ordered most of the items at a cost of $243.76 on the 18/1. These then arrived at my doorstep on the 12/2. I then decided to contact the company again as it was very strange three orders within the same week go missing. This time Sarah replied saying there were severe delays due to bad weather over Xmas period and blamed the customs. Wanting to be a believer, I then waited another couple of weeks to contact them again. I told them I had received the new order and the original still not arrived. I asked them to check if these had been returned to them. I received a reply on 8/2/11 from Sarah telling me the order was shipped.
I am fed up with beating my head against a brick wall trying to get a refund. These goods still did not arrived. I am sure if I email again they will tell me the same story. If you cannot help regarding this matter wonder if you can put me in contact with someone that can.

I purchased and paid $114.96 for a men's cologne. I received the totally incorrect item, I have emailed fragrancenet.com numerous times but no response. This site came up on eBay while I was looking for men's fragrance. I used Paypal for my purchase. I think this is a bogus company and that I have lost good money using this site. It should be deleted as fraud.
