Charged $90 for canceling a subscription. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not sign up for Adobe. It is a rip off with hidden fees. Useless website. Gave zero support and preys on people such as teachers that can not afford these fees.

Never use their services. They won’t let you cancel. When you do they just tell you they can’t find your account and continue to bill you. Cancelled my debit card but they got my new card number somehow and kept billing me. I’ve been taken for over $100 because they won’t cancel. Waiting for my bank to dispute all charges and Adobe is still trying to charge me after they assured me I wouldn’t be billed again.

I signed up to use Adobe and then later went to cancel it as I do not need it at the moment. It is charging me $20 a month and now wants me to pay $99.99 to cancel it!!!! They did not clearly indicate when I signed up there would be a cancellation fee, or I would NEVER have used this product. Adobe is a scam and the jankiest company ever! Find a different product.

ADOBE INC SAN JOSE CALIFORNIA. $53.26 Early cancellation fee? Plus the monthly fee of $13.31. This company reaps off customers. How poor is your value that you need to oblige people to a year commitment with no other options from customers to be afloat. Shame on you. Price gouging.

A glorified scam. I am forced to use it for my school, and you could not pay me to use this ever again once I graduate. All the programs (besides maybe Photoshop) are horribly designed and will delete your work even if you save it. Will make the simplest of tasks like changing fonts take an extra 40 steps to accomplish. From what I hear this company will also charge you and make it impossible to cancel a subscription. I highly recommend literally anything else than an Adobe product.

This company no longer has integrity and tried to steal hundreds from me by tricking me. Offered me 29.99 for 3 months, then when I tried to cancel it said I was enrolled in an annual membership which is nonsense and threatened 140 cancellation fee. Will never give them another dime. Fortunately I escaped the fee after threatening to cancel my credit card.

This company is a scam. I tried their "trial" period. You can't cancel until they charge you. You literally can not access "manage Plan" until they have charged you. So you can't cancel. I had to block all payments and PayPal from them to keep them from getting my money after the trial. I don't want the service so I'm not going to pay these scammers. If I see this come up on my bank statement one more time. I'm contacting a lawyer. I'm sick of these companies that steal our money through micro transactions. Oh and customer support did nothing..

They trick you into a "Free trial" and then charge you $99.99 to cancel. Never again. You will also find that the $19.99 monthly fee is really $26.99 per month after all the fees that they tack on. I forgot to cancel right away and learned this the hard way.

I encountered a hidden subscription cancellation fee, which felt very sneaky. I had to pay for the remainder of my subscription but couldn’t use it for the full term. Due to this experience, I will never return to Adobe. From the beginning, I learned that their service is unreliable. Additionally, I faced constant errors when I tried to use Adobe on different computers. Disappointing.

After literal decades of using Adobe and Photoshop I am at my wit's end. The products constantly crash and break. I am told I needed to buy a new computer (mine was only 4 years old) in order to use the software after years of using it on that device. I upgraded my machine to a brand new top of the line computer and its still constantly crashing, glitching and not working. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS USELESS. The issue always comes back, I get disconnected, they seem ignorant and ask really stupid questions. I don't know what to do.
I need this tool for work and have lost countless hours of my life and productivity that harms my business. I will NEVER get that time back and have lost so much money due to the absolute disgusting failure of a company that is Adobe. I want a refund for the year and deserve to use the software for free with all the money they have cost me. I am at a loss of what to do to keep a roof over my head being dependent on this trash scam company.

Adobe drains the resources on my computer and is constantly running all sorts of different things in the background that I don't want to have access to my computer. I'm trying to get help, but their chat sucks and their tech support doesn't know anything. The customer support people in India are very nice, but they didn't try to help me. The tech support guy was recounting my question completely wrong and clearly knew nothing technical. He then put me on hold and came back saying he couldn't find my account, even though it was already verified before they transferred me, and then I asked him to read my email address back to me when he just cut me off and transferred me back to the accounts support. They will not give a direct number for tech support. Their chat feature does not have an option for tech support. They have the WORST customer support.
What an absolute shame that such a superior product is run by such a terrible business model. They are more interested in running all of the invasive and resource draining background tasks than they are just providing a quality product. I would love a comparable alternative to adobe products without the unwanted invasive resource draining background tasks and terrible support. I've used Adobe Acrobat since the 90's. They aren't what they were then.

Adobe’s photo editing software is top-notch, but their customer service is absolutely terrible. They give misleading information, and you'll likely end up frustrated and hung up on during calls. Don’t expect resolutions, just excuses. Their agents are unhelpful, unprofessional, and unreliable, and they charge hidden cancellation fees -if you can get around to canceling at all. I have used Adobe products since 2002. I had ridiculously sad news given to me by Adobe that had taken all my photos and videos from Creative Cloud and deleted every single one of them without going out of their way to notify me of such a tragic disservice. When I notified Adobe that Creative Cloud was no longer on my computer, they told me that they had deleted everything and had given me notice in February.
But I got for an excuse that they were moving into a new format or something and notified everyone of this occurrence. However, I had notified Adobe several times prior to them deleting my photos, and not one alert or notification by anyone I spoke to, not even a notification or alert on any of the responding emails of my interactions with Adobe to alert me of this horrendous Injustice after paying for years, and putting my trust and Creative Cloud to hold under safekeeping of their promises to have my assurance that my files were safe with adobe. Although they said they had notified me several times in February to let me know, I never received any email saying that they were going to obliterate all my files from Creative Cloud if I didn't do something, or open my email and respond.
Now I am left without any files, and backup files have to be reassigned to Premier Pro for all of my video files, and I hope I can do this, but it will take a lengthy amount of time and money to get them all where they are working in synced to be able to create new videos from old files. This is so disconcerting. If there are any suggestions on what to do, I am up for hearing them. I can not believe Adobe did this, with no hesitation or resolution. I have been an online customer for at least 6 years and pay almost $100 a month for this, now, disservice.

Adobe softwares are top notch, but customer care is not. I signed up for a one month subscription to Illustrator, and noticed that two months of increased charges on my card. When I went to cancel, I was hit with a threat of +$300 in fees. Looking deeper, I noticed I was also charged for an additional license that I never asked for. I tried chat help, and they would only offer me a discount to continue service that I didn't need. They would not waive the shockingly high cancellation fees. Use the service if you'd like, but be cautious about payment and licensing terms - especially if you are a small shop. Customer service will not help you with mystery charges and wild fees. They will, however, ask you to wait a few days for a manager to reach out to you. Buyer beware.

I subscribed to Adobe on an annual plan with monthly payments. While I understand that there are termination fees when canceling early, what doesn’t make sense is the way they handle the rest of the term. Even after being required to pay for the entire remaining contract period, Adobe only provides access to the service until the end of the month in which you cancel. This means you're paying for months of service you no longer have access to, essentially giving them money for nothing.
Other companies allow users to retain access for the remainder of the paid term, but Adobe’s approach feels like they’re taking advantage of customers. It’s frustrating and unfair, especially for a company of this size. I would expect better transparency and flexibility. Until they fix this policy, I can't recommend their subscription services.

I purchased Adobe Acrobat with a lifetime license for two computer. One of my computers got hacked and I lost administrative privileges and the only way to gain access again was a clean install of the OS which wiped out all information on the computer. When I tried to reinstall Acrobat it did not allow me to activate my copy because according to them I had to many copies installed. Also I was just trying to reinstall my copy on my hacked computer. I tried to decommission my computer through my account but I was not able to do since adobe moved the information to a non accessible computer. I chatted with the help. They were not able to help because according to them they have no access to the server and only see that I have too many copies installed. They put me on a call back list but they never called back.
When I reminded after 3 days that I still have not received a call back they claim they did but got my answering service. Talking to the phone provider the claim was bogus. Then they send me an email when would be the best time to call. I replied what about right now since you are on my case already. 5 hours later I got another email asking me now for my phone number and the best time to call back. Again I gave them the number and said how about right now. Still no call. The customer service and help line are useless and an insult. The company sells you for a lot of money software with lifetime license, but then steals the software illegally.

I really wish they would stop charging me. They should change their business approach. When I need Adobe, it is usually for a school project but other than that, I do not use it very often. Perhaps they should try to center their business around the needs of their customers instead of sucking us dry by charging fees every month for a program we never use. Yes, Adobe Photoshop comes in handy every great once in a while, but often times I feel it is a way to cheat and scam users. I tried to email them to reach out, but their mailbox is full. That is why so many people think it is okay to steal today. I think I have 30 dollars in my bank, and here comes Adobe to charge me $29 dollars. Great, well now I have a dollar left. THANKS ADOBE!!! Today, out of nowhere, I get an email from Adobe that my account is suspended and they're looking for my payment information. The reason they don't have my info is because I never set up an account, subscribed to the free trial. This is as sleazy, slippery as it gets. I have been using Adobe products since college. I am now about 18 years in using them. Ever since it became a subscription-based software, it is not only annoying but customer service has gone downhill. I recently changed my phone number and could no longer log in/reset password because authentication was linked to that phone number but I did have an alternate login method which is email. I called customer service and explained the issue and told me due to security, the only thing they could do is close my account and open up a new one for me.
I have 5 years of work on the cloud and would lose it. This makes no sense at all and is very inhumane for a 5-year customer holding his career in that cloud. I was finally able to locate my password and able to log in. This caused me lots of stress and this is something everyone should know before signing up for this very expensive software that provides zero customer support. It is sad because they are a true monopoly in the creative industry.

Using Adobe has been one of the worst software experiences I've had. When the program is not telling me my subscription has "expired" - it hasn't, I'm paying every month for it, the program bugs, lag time, "jerkiness", and shutting down for no apparent reason, all make the user experience one of the most frustrating I've ever had - You will, at times, want to run outside and scream with anger when using this program. I will be cancelling, even though it will cost me almost $100 to do so - This program really is a total scam and the company needs to be reported to the BBB and states' attorney generals.

I can’t believe it, but I had heard Adobe was a scam company and ignored that feedback until I got scammed myself by Adobe. I should have come to ConsumerAffairs (or any other review site) to read the horrible feedback first. I filled out PART of an application for Adobe Pro before I X’ed out of the entire site (did not complete the form information and I certainly did not approve anything), unfortunately the part I filled out had my credit card number. I had a suspicion, but didn’t see any immediate charges and COULD NOT ACCESS THE SITE when I input my email. An error message came up saying “no account associated with this email.”
Today I found 3 charges each for TWO accounts! When I tried to access the account an error message appears - “no account associated…”. I stayed on the phone for almost an hour with the non-English speaking CSR who put me on hold half of that time. Each time returning saying I could cancel one account only…? Finally she offered three months free on one account. I repeated dozens of times that I didn’t (ever) want an Adobe account of ANY kind. Interestingly, when I said I would report them, the cancellation emails appeared in my email box almost immediately. Remember this is the email address they said was not associated with an account at Adobe. This seems hard to believe for a company this size, but it’s true. Complete scam.
