This place is the worst!! I purchased a phone for $2000 that they were supposed to take care of adding insurance coverage on for me on and they failed to do it. I didn't have the ability to do it myself cause there was coverage in someone else's name. They were fast to sell the phone but failed to get my coverage going and now they say there's nothing I can do about it. I've called multiple times and only reached someone 5 times. When I call they always say the manager is dealing with an emergency. It's the same excuse every single time. They failed to cover a $2000 phone and they will not take responsibility on the matter. These people don't deserve any type of good reviews because the company and customer service is poor!!

I ordered the S23 Plus purple on March 5th and had a delivery date for the 10th. Well here it is April 8th and I think my 5th newest delivery date is for the 11th. Yeah sure. If you didn't have the damn phone you shouldn't be offering it or at least be honest enough to say, "Hey it's gonna be a month or 2 or 3," but I'm thinking never at this point. I've chatted, texted and phoned customer service and got the same runaround about being at the top of the list or some bull. If they would of said, "Hey it'll be 3 months till it's in stock." I would of waited. I wouldn't of minded but I hate liars. I tried cancelling and they won't let me. I tried to change the color and it didn't make a difference. I'm stuck because I'm doing a payment plan so I guess they get to screw you because of it. So warning don't try and finance with them.

In Nov 22, my wife & I got new Galaxy A53 5G phones when we switched carriers. In Mar 23, 5 months after getting the new phones, the speaker went out on both my & my wife's phone at the same time. Please note, there is/was NO physical nor water damage on either of our phones. We contacted Samsung support & they directed us to an authorized Tech Repair shop. The tech repair shop confirmed neither phone showed any physical or water damage. After they ran a diagnostic, they determined there were 3 speaker-related issues, one of which is on the motherboard & beyond repair. NOW, after going through Samsung's authorized shop, Samsung is now telling us we have to give up our cells for 2 weeks, mail our phones into them, so they can look at phones.

Horrible, horrible company. Get a Samsung s22 Ultra phone, it quits picking up data even though it has 5G and it's out of warranty because of a tiny scratch on the back, not impact, it's just the way that your company does. Has it superficial scratches, no warranty, makes the customer pay for repairs that's a known problem with its antenna and motherboard. Horrible company. Any other wireless phone it can be broken half and then replace it if it's under warranty

My old S8 was starting to give me trouble and I was afraid it would die on me so I decided it was time to replace it. One thing about phones....I always have an issue with carrying them around. Either they are too big for my pocket or too big to fit easily in my purse so I decided that I wanted the Filp. It's a really nice little phone. I love the folding option...Whenever I go out, it slips easily anywhere. And since I have the Galaxy watch, it works with that seamlessly, even better than my S8. The battery life is a lot better than my S8, too. I like the little screen on the front where I can check the weather, calendar, my steps, and play music.
The sound is such an improvement over my S8. And I got it half-price through my provider. I will likely have the Flip for as long as I had the S8....almost 6 years. There are some who have a problem with the fold showing on the screen. I have no problem with it... It's not pronounced nor does it interfere with viewing. I have had Samsung phones and televisions for years and have always been pleased with them.

The Critics get commission to say nonsense about a product. The screen light is not consistent. It goes dark and comes back by itself. It doesn't have right to left texting like Persian, Arabic or Hebrew. Downloading don't work like when you use the phone original alphabet. Battery depletes in 8 hours. I bought my phone in duty free for 245CD but my phone got water damage just by splash of my cold tea on kitchen counter. Samsung asked for 375CD+tax to fix it. Walmart selling it for 260CD+25 shipping+ tax but the charger is not compatible with Canadian electric outlet and if you enter any Google or App in it. is not returnable. They count the days from when you placed the order not from when you received it.
They tell you, "We have to check for water damage and you have to send it by post." You can't bring it to the counter for verification so you can as well lose the phone and the money you paid. Typing is a hassle with this phone. Don't even bother to read critics' bias opinion. They are there to make commission selling garbage of these companies.

Buyer beware prior to purchasing a Samsung cellular phone! Most often, their product has a good reputation, but if you do encounter problem, then Pandora's Box will open...and you will be in for a rude awakening! I encountered several problems with my S21 phone, five months after purchase. Samsung provided me with a local (authorized) repair centre where a diagnostic test revealed that the motherboard required replacement. The task was completed. Unfortunately, the problem persisted and I was told (by the repair depot) that the additional parts were on back order but 1.5 months???
Samsung then advised that they would assist by sending me a loaner phone, via mail, where I would send my problem phone to Samsung for further troubleshooting. I did receive the loaner (a week later) and was shocked when the sent 'used' phone appeared as though it was taken from a crime scene! Rust, dirt and a smeared screen! Hello...but we are in a COVID situation here!!!
In short, I spoke with Samsung (senior management) and it is apparent that Samsung would rather give the customer the runaround, and lose a customer/reputation, than simply provide the customer with a replacement. There are so many companies that have the best tv and online commercials. Everyone is so happy and satisfied. Unfortunately, Samsung doesn't advertise the unhappy and dissatisfied customers like me. DO YOUR HOMEWORK!

I have been a die hard Android fan since the beginning, however there are 2 things Android is lacking that is making me think the iPhone is now a better choice: FaceID and a super responsive camera. The fingerprint sensor in any form is a horrible experience compared to the iPhone's FaceID, and this is a feature that has been on iPhones for 5 years now. The second is the iPhone's camera, which is super "responsive", meaning, when taking pictures, it snaps it almost instantaneously, whereas on Samsung it sits there thinking for 1-3 seconds before taking the photo, which is agonizing. Samsung, forget the folding screen and the stylus, focus on a FaceID equivalent and a super responsive, killer camera.

I've had this phone for over a year now and it is by far the worst phone I have ever had. It freezes for no reason, it's super slow, it sometimes doesn't give me my messages for hours or a day later. I clean it 3-4 times daily just so I can use it, otherwise it freezes. I have to restart it all the time sometimes more than once a day. Other times it just spins and spins and spins. It really to freeze up while you're playing games or trying to use a map to get somewhere. Do not disturb turns itself on all the time when it's not set, even if I'm just riding in the car. There's is no way to delete it or stop it, believe me I have tried. The alarms don't always go off even tho they are set. It hates most chargers and cords. You're lucky to find one it likes and it may decide it doesn't like the ones that do work after a while. My daughter bought one before I could tell her not to and he does the exact same things. I know I'm forgetting some stuff. This is the worst phone ever.

The updates you receive months ahead of contract ending are for better lack of terms are "CORRUPT YOUR PHONE !" So it doesn't work like it's intended too...slower functioning, media errors, glitches, runs hotter, shorter battery usage, etc.. We as consumers pay good money out of our pockets for things we can not really afford to find out that the phone company is playing with our expenses...Not good customer relations to SCAM the people who purchase their products because there are other products out there that will do the same, and that are not associated with Samsung Corporation in any way shape or form.

I purchased a Samsung A30S phone last month on 9/13/22 from a Walmart Store in Glen Ellyn, IL. Yesterday, 10/26/22, the phone stopped working. There had been issues with the phone charging very slowly, and last night I plugged the phone in and let it charge, or so I thought. After an hour, I unplugged the phone and it did not work at all! I went online to Samsung customer support and chatted with a representative. That representative scheduled me to take the phone to an Authorized Samsung Repair location. When I arrived at the Authorized Samsung Repair location the man check the phone and told me there was nothing he could do! He said that Samsung only allows them to carry or order certain parts and the part that was needed for my phone was one that Samsung did not allow them to have. He said I would have to send the phone to Samsung for it to be repaired. ARE YOU SERIOUS??!!
What is the point of having authorized repair stores and not giving those folks access to all of Samsung's products/parts???? Afterwards I went to the Walmart store where I purchased the phone and they said they would make an exception and do an even exchange which meant I would have to give them my Sim card and the phone. I have data on my sim card and some on my phone. The Walmart service person called her "coach" and the coach told her that I would lose all of my data and I would have to go to an AT&T store to have them transfer the data to my new phone. What a lie, I could have transferred the sim card to the new phone but I do not want to buy another phone, which was the other option, and pay for it when the phone is still under the manufacturer's warranty AND I purchased insurance on this phone.
I am VERY disappointed with the way Samsung handles its customers in servicing phones. Walmart can sell Samsung phones but they cannot service them (Walmart can only service Apple products!). The phone is my only way of communicating with people outside of Facebook calls and many people do not use Facebook. I expect Samsung to send me a NEW phone, not a re-manufactured one that actually works! Shame on Samsung for the shoddy customer service agreements they have. Samsung should Stop selling their phones at Walmart if they know full well that Walmart cannot service them. Samsung should STOP having authorized repair stores and not letting them have access to all of the parts they need to repair phones.
I do not have time to mail the phone in and hope to get it back in a week or two! I do not expect to buy another phone when I just bought this one last month! Now I am going to AT&T corporate store because this is an AT&T provider phone in hopes that they can help me. I should not have to go through all of this ** to get my phone fixed.

Samsung is aware of issues with their Galaxy Z Flip3 5G so they sell the product offering a warranty to cover if it becomes an issue. What they don’t tell you is if/when it happens the warranty won’t cover it and you will be billed close to $400 to have it repaired. I purchased this phone after knowing about the issues, but was told by the salesperson Samsung would cover the issue. Sure they will if you don’t use the phone! I called their Customer Service and their reason for not covering their warranty is that there was a scratch on the screen (minor by the way) and the hinge was damaged (common issue—it’s a flip phone.)
This phone is about 9 months old and since I have used it they will not cover. I’ve had to be without a phone while I shipped it to them under the pretense of the warranty coverings it and now they have my phone and I have this bill in order to get it back. I’m sure their solution is a new product with another worthless warranty that they will find a reason not to allow you to use. So you pay an outrageous amount for their new phone and then another outrageous amount to keep it working. I don’t know if Apple or Google products are any better, but I’ll find out with my next phone purchase. They can’t possibly be any worse. On the phone with Samsung right now, getting the runaround! The hinge on my Z Flip 4 broke less than 3 weeks after I purchased it. A call to Samsung customer service determined that it was in warranty and the repair was covered. I shipped my phone off to Samsung. Today, I received a bill for $377 that said the repair was out of warranty! That's half the cost of the phone!
Samsung's customer service clearly is trained to NOT answer any questions beyond what the repair ticket says, to NOT escalate the ticket, to NOT involve a supervisor, and to AVOID their responsibility to the customer. The customer service person told me that because the hinge was broken, and because it was a manufacturer defect, it was not covered by the warranty. THAT'S WHAT A MANUFACTURER WARRANTY IS FOR!!!! Samsung, you lost a loyal customer of over 8 years because of what you did today. I will warn everyone I know to stay away from your products. I was scammed by a supposedly reputable company. If there's a class action suit over this, I'll join it in a heartbeat. I hope they get sued out of business.

With such a big brand I never ever expected that Samsung service center do extreme false commitments and doesn't care at all about customer. This is regarding my ticket **. I sent my Samsung mobile for repair in the month of July and it was always committed I will get my device back in 7 to 10 business days. It is now Sept 15th and till now I'm waiting for my device. I feel that I have given device in wrong hands and it is stolen. I did multiple follow-ups with customer service and then connected with repair center but no one is accountable on call. At one time someone told my device is delivered back to me and when I provided the details, person accepted that he provided wrong information to me. All of this happened on recorded line.
As per last notification, I was confirmed device is approved for repair at no cost and after 2 months I got another notification device will be sent back without repair and no reasoning provided for that. Also no tracking number provided to send the device back. This is unacceptable. I'm going to consumer forum for this torture that I'm facing from last 2 months.

I am VERY busy with work and use my earbuds A LOT. I need them. Samsung doesn't care if it's going to put me out for 1-2 weeks while they have my earbuds. They refuse to just exchange them. I also have a Samsung washed which I HATE. It's junk. It also had a recall. The "fix" for the recall? To put a sticker over the dial with "do not use" on certain settings. WTH??? This has to be one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had, the customer service at this company is unacceptable. The ZFlip 3's fragile screen became unresponsive on me out of nowhere several months after purchasing. I called the company to request a repair under warranty. I was told that my phone was under warranty and that I could have it repaired for free. I asked if I could take it into a local repair place. Initally I was told yes, I attempted to take the phone to one OF Samsungs Ubreak/Ifix locations but the store could not find my repair ticket. After speaking with several Samsung reps about the issue, I was told that they were having a ticketing issue and the only way to have my phone repaired was to mail it in.
Upon receiving my phone Samsung told me it was out of warranty and that I needed to pay 250 dollars just to get my phone back or I could trade it in and pay them more for another phone. I find this very odd. Samsung knows that they built a fragile phone. They even tried to get me to "trade it in" and buy another expensive phone. This is a complete scam. There are 2 months left on my warranty and as others have reported, this seems to be Samsung's M.O. I have owned Samsung phones for years and am extremely disappointed and I feel defrauded and extorted; I will not be patronizing this company again.

I upgraded a few months ago to the S22 Ultra (from the S21+), and I received a lemon, (the phone would not charge, a whole night would charge to 50%). So I reached out to Samsung, and they said they'd send me a replacement, which had to be done by me "ordering" a new one, and also lose $150 in the promo I had... (Besides for the ~4 hours spent on the phone with them). BUT... ok, it is what it is, I'll lose the $150, and get a good phone, right? Wrong! 3 months later, the phone does not want to connect to service (I tried a different provider, new SIM, reset, Verizon store, uBreakiFix store, and they all said it's the phone).
So, I figure I'll just call Samsung and get it fixed by warranty, but the only way they can fix it is if I send it into them and wait a week or 2, I can't really afford that as I don't have a second phone, and I explain that I even already did the walk-in "support request" who said the phone is a lemon, but nothing helped, and it seems the only way for me to get Samsung to stand behind their product is by not having a phone for 2 weeks, I can't do that, so I had no choice but to get a replacement via my insurance which cost me another $230... I actually used to be quite a fan of Samsung, I have a phone, watch, tablet, and earbuds from them, and they're all quite good (except for the buds... and now the phone). But I'm afraid they're going down in quality, as 2 phones in a row to be lemons is quite unheard of!

They will not under any circumstance send you a loaner or replacement upfront. The service people and managers are absolutely soul crushing in their apathy and ambivalence (Ben the 'manager' suggested everyone should keep a spare phone handy. He does!). They managed to turn a brand loyalist into a 'never again'. I managed to order a brand new Pixel 6 pro and trade in this ZFold (worth ~$400 on trade in) faster than they could open a warranty tickets. The only solution from Samsung is to mail them my phone, and a technician will determine if it can be fixed or replaced under warranty. And then say, "Please go to such and such website as we have a high volume of clients." (I doubt. Probably their agents chat with each other), complete unprofessionalism.

So another way for the companies to rip you off during these horrible price high and covid-19 shenanigans. My little brother need to buy a new phone because he was having problem with his old phone. So he went to Team Mobile, since that's his carrier to buy a new phone and while at the store they tell him that he would need to buy a power adapter separately in which for whatever, reason now Samsung and Apple, are not including them with your new phone. This is preposterous as it's a part of your phone functionality. There should indeed be a law against this type of practice.
I did see a article in which a Brazilian judge granted a lawsuit to a client in which he had bought a new phone from Apple, but they did not include the power adapter and instead wanted him to buy the needed item for an extra cost. Enough is enough. This need to stop. Hope more people dispute this as I did place call to Team Mobile, to address it but they told me we have to go directly to the manufacturing and fabrications company. I did tell them they are a part of it since they get a commission on every product they sell for these big companies. This should not be happening and the consumer should get everything that come included with the price we pay for these phone today. I started two repair requests with Samsung's Support Department for a Samsung phone under warranty (ticket # **) and a phone not under warranty that I paid $91.31 to have repaired (ticket # **). 9 weeks later, and after several dozen very frustrating emails and calls, plus complaints to the BBB and New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, I still haven't received repaired or replaced phones, as several of their agents in their "Extra Care" department stated would occur. Instead of repairing or replacing the phones as promised, today they just offered me a $100 refund, despite already paying them $91.31, and the phones costing at least $700 for me to replace myself.
A few years ago I had sent in phones to Samsung for warranty repairs which were completed within two weeks or less. Something drastically has changed with this company however - now they've subcontracted all of their support requests and calls to off-shore third-parties (in the Philippines). They just read call scripts with very poor English skills, and if you ask to speak with a supervisor, you either get hung up on or put on hold forever.
Escalating issues to the Office of the President by filing a BBB complaint will only result in responses from a subcontracted agent in their "Extra Care" department. In my case, their agent was openly hostile and made numerous false statements, until I made them aware that I was recording them and would only accept written emails thereafter. They then promptly left the company so I had to start all over again from scratch...
I would strongly advise calling Samsung's Support department before purchasing a device like a phone which you'll greatly depend on, to see what that experience is like beforehand, because more than likely you will need support in the future, and based on over two months of endless frustrations, you'll be left completely empty-handed and frustrated.

When I post a review, someone in samsung saw It and make this guy apologize and finally take care of my issue. He was calling me everyday for me to change my review.
Meanwhile my other issues wasn't fixed. He promise to help this other issues, and as soon as I changed my review, he is gone. His supervisor as well called me few times, and promise to escalate my issue, but he also disappear, is really bad the customer service we are getting almost everywhere, the lack of professional people that care, and the amount of time we spend calling everyday to try to resolve even the smallest things.

Being on the phone with Samsung customer service for hours and being lied to, hung up on many times I have to say I will buy a Samsung phone or product ever again. Their customer service is awful. The company is pure garbage. I will purchase Apple phones from now on.

Very easy to set up. Dropped in many times and it still works fine and no screen damage. Very fast charging too. Comes with charger. Bought it brand new. Great camera quality. My phone stopped working with the error message Cannot read SIM card. ATT tried several new SIM cards with same error. Samsung tech support spent an hour with remote login to my phone trying to troubleshoot. They then sent me to an authorized Samsung repair center. They replaced a board, but could not fix. Samsung asked for a credit card number and they would send an "advance exchange," sending a replacement phone immediately. They charged my card $860 and then told me the phone would not ship for another week. I demanded a refund, which took two days to issue.
This has been going on for over 2 weeks, they have had the defective phone for over a week and tell me it will be another week or two before issuing the promised refund on their defective phone. Now Gloria A from the President's Office has refused to respond to 3 messages left and still no resolution in sight. Samsung is aware of the products that they manufacture however when it relates to the new Z flip 3, they are scamming consumers with this product. I purchased this new device through Verizon which they advised me to contact Samsung. So Samsung tells me any screen issues related to the z flip or fold is considered physical damage and the consumer must pay for any repairs. I have not had my phone for a full 30 days and they want me to send it in for more than 2 weeks for REPAIR on a brand new phone which by the way I must pay for. Knowingly selling a product to consumers for monetary gain is considered unlawful and this is exactly what Samsung is doing with these new devices and they do not want to warranty their products.
When you purchased a new Samsung device through a carrier, (Verizon) they do not sell you a Samsung warranty or insurance, they sell you their own insurance. This is another way Samsung is scamming consumers and someone needs to hold Samsung accountable for this unlawful act. STAY AWAY from these 2 new phones that Samsung has developed. The folding screens WILL FAIL as use of the device increases. If you open and close the flip 100 times or more a day, you screen will fail within 30 days or less.

Aside from the weekly 20 minute updates that change my system settings and bloatware associated with this brand, the customer service is also equally as horrible. My S21 Ultra is covered under the Samsung manufacturer warranty until April 2022. I had cracked the screen and needed the LCD replaced. These are not covered under warranty so I had it replaced at a UBreakIFix location, which is a Samsung authorized repair center, for $320 out of pocket. When I received the phone back, the speaker was muffled and the audio was not as crisp as it was before I brought the phone in for repair. At this point I had purchased a Google phone and no longer used the S21 Ultra.
I sent the S21 Ultra in to Samsung this time to have the speaker repaired. The refused the repair and told me the phone had "liquid damage" and I had to pay another $314 to have the LCD repaired again! I informed them that I no longer use that phone and that is how Ubreakifix returned the phone to me. It was never near any water and it was a new LCD installed by them. After multiple phone calls they told me a manager would call me and a technician would call me to explain everything to me. I never received a call from either and they sent the phone back to me with no repair done, no speaker replacement, and no explanation. Horrible customer service and I will be telling everyone to stay away from Samsung.

I purchased the phone from a Best Buy store for $1,200.00..After using the phone for a month and installing the 3 updates provided by Samsung I'm still having problems with this phone. The issues with the apps are overwhelming. If you use apps on the phone (which everyone does) you will experience the apps continuously crashing or not functioning properly. For example..I use my Facebook app quite often throughout the day, but in order for the app to refresh I must reboot the phone or uninstall the app and then reinstall the app. THIS IS RIDICULOUS & TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE..
I thought I was buying a quality phone with all the bells & whistles, but instead I spent my hard earned money on something inferior to my old Samsung Galaxy S8...My advice is to stay away from the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra until all your issues are resolved. Purchased two Samsung Z Flip 3 phones. We owned for 32 days and the charging port corroded and damaged the board. Sent to Samsung Warranty and they voided my warranty due to the corrosion causing water damage. If you know anything about electronics it takes more than 32 days for corrosion to occur. They were never exposed to any water.
We had to wait for parts to arrive because there were 3 other phones in for the same problem. It is hard to accept the fact that both phones, same day and time stopped charging using the port. I had to pay for the repairs at my own expense and now have a voided warranty. They cannot explain the cause of the corrosion. We were very careful with our phones and did nothing to cause this damage.

First, this review is more toward SAMSUNG and not the S21 Ultra, the phone is great. When I went to purchase this I contacted a representative to question the terms of the ad on their site. I looked at the webpage to check pricing on the S21 Ultra 512GB phone. It clearly states...'Highest online instant trade-in value guaranteedᵝ Get $600 instant credit or exclusive cracked-screen trade-in up to $360 values.'...So, it says get $600 INSTANT credit which is not the same as up to $600 trade-in. I was told that it is up to that amount which is not true. If I put in a S20 Ultra as trade, which I do not have, it shows the discount as $700! I was then told to just order the phone and then contact the refund department for a refund, which I have in writing along with a ticket ID.
I called a few times but can never get anyone that sounds like they are in the United States that I can clearly communicate with. Each time they referred to it saying it means $600 trade-in and they are not doing $600 instant credit. I even mentioned that they need to just change it to read up to $700 trade-in so that they can cover the S20 Ultra allowed value. Anyway, I would really appreciate it if a rep would contact me about this since I have already convinced 1 colleague to purchase a phone and others are looking as well.

Beware! Samsung issued an update that wiped my Access Point Names (APN) on my unlocked S20 Ultra 5G, purchased 13-months ago. Verizon's tech support cannot fix the issue and has transferred me to Samsung twice. I've experienced NO TRANSPARENCY from Verizon or Samsung throughout this extremely frustrating experience.
After opening a ticket with Verizon and waiting a week for nothing, getting a new SIMS card that could not be activated, until I switched it to another phone (not Verizon), being transferred to Samsung that provided two options: 1. Take the phone to their Samsung Authorized Service provider or 2. Get a new phone, the S21 with S20 trade for $499; Really? I've gone 3-weeks without proper cell phone service, there should be one option: 1. Samsung fixes the issues and phones that its corrupted system updates!
Warnings: Samsung will ask you CONTINUOUSLY if there is any damage to the phone. I took my phone to their authorized services' location that diagnosis is "It's weird, could be the service provider or the phone, but they could not get it online for cellular”. The authorized service provider validated that the phone does not show any visible damage. I kept it in a wateproof defender case. After picking up the phone from Samsung’s Authorized Service provider, calling Verizon to provide the diagnosis and get an update on the ticket status, being transferred, YET AGAIN, to Samsung customer service/tech who finally, after 20 minutes of being placed on hold, offers a 1x free service fix.
I was continuously WARNED if any other issues are detected, the service department would be in touch to collect the fee, and it’s in the email that provides the label for the Samsung Tech. If the phone will work on another cellular providers sims card, I don't think there would be any other issues. And, I am to mail the phone, not in its original box. What?! I don't trust that my phone would be received the same as it is today because my experiences have resulted in Samsung's credibility being zero in my book! Samsung would probably say there's a needle size crack not visible to the human eye to collect a fee.
It is my perception that Samsung practices are to not be transparent/forthcoming, not acknowledge MISTAKES, and pursued customers to buy new cell phones which makes Samsung money with no accountability! Samsung's goal is to inconvenience customers, eg. I'm nearing a month without cellular service and now told to send my phone to Texas which would be another seven to ten days without use of my cell phone, not even on Wifi. Samsung needs effective customer service training that includes transparency, honesty, humility, and business ethics.
Apparently, it's Samsung's goal is to identify fault of the customers; thereby, not owning their system update errors. The latest system updates have compromised S20 phones; Google it - August 2021 & September 2021 updates (which removed my APN)! I didn't hear it from Samsung throughout the many calls, allegedly, Samsung is working towards a system update fix to be released soon. In the meantime, I'm nearing a month without use of my cell phone unless I'm on WiFi. As Samsung reminded me MANY MANY TIMES "The phone's warranty is 12-months," and my phone was purchased 13-months ago thus I am responsible for any fees to fix the phone. This experience has resulted in miss calls from my children’s school and school transportation, family, and employment!
Not to sound paranoid, but I now question if this entire system update that compromised Samsung S20 phones was an intentional act by Samsung. Were unlocked or no warranty customers targeted? The email I received states that during repair my phone would be locked and I may need to contact the service provide for a code. Why would Samsung lock the phone to fix an issue? Why aren't all customers experiencing the same issues? I placed a SIMS card for another provider in my S20 phone and Viola. AGAIN, BEWARE or BE SMART research everything! Tomorrow, off to T-Mobile or even Straight Talk, I need my phone and TIRED of the run around! Good luck to all!

They said mail in the phone. I explained to the person that I will not see my phone for over two weeks. Is there a loaner phone available or can they ship out a replacement phone. NOTHING WAS OFFERED.
If I had purchased the phone from a mobile retailer, they would have replaced the phone on the spot and would have not been inconvenienced. I have been a loyal customer to Samsung ever since my first phone and this has been the worst experience with support I have ever received. To break down the incident this is what happened. My phone restarts randomly still under warranty and purchased directly from samsung (several times a day). I use Samsung resources to rectify the issue (all troubleshooting including calling tech support) and the issue is NOT RESOLVED. I call Samsung support and am on the line for 2+ hours, I go up several supervisors and then managers and receive no solution. The agent tells me I have to send in my phone (which means go without a phone for 7-10 days which is not practical).
I purchase a phone on the samsung website using the try now pay later and then ship out my phone to the repair center (I planned to return the phone once my phone was retrieved to not have to pay anything out of pocket while still having a phone). I ship out the broken phone and it reaches the repair center and they "repair" the device and ship it back out and say there is no issue. I call the repair center and ask them "if there is the issue will I be able to receive a replacement phone and only have to return the broken phone after I receive the replacement?" THE AGENT THEN SAYS "I will put that in my notes and make sure that happens since we did inspect the phone and we did verify it that there was no issue." (My thinking is, if you trust your techs you only need them to see it once, otherwise are you calling your repair center incapable?)
I received the "repaired" phone (the phone I purchased on samsung's website using the try now pay later program had no issues and both phones had the same settings which confirms the issue is just with my phone) and the phone has no issues for a couple days. Several days later the same issue occurs and I am by this point absolutely frustrated so I contact support in hopes of a solution. I call and inform support that the issue continues and support says "you must send in the device again so that our repair center may inspect it and it can be resolved, replaced or refunded."
I then ask to speak to the supervisor and then the manager and all of them provide the same "solution" so then I ask to be transferred to a higher department. I am transferred to Case Management Department where there the same progression up the position ladder continues and I reach management where I am told AGAIN "you must send in the phone and we must diagnose the issue" which means I have to go WITHOUT a phone again to help samsung fix THEIR issue since their team is incapable of doing so. I was provided with NO OTHER OPTION.
As a lifelong, dedicated samsung customer who I have recommended and switched several people to, I am regretting all of that because of this horrible experience. I HAVE ALL THE NAMES OF PEOPLE I SPOKE TO. I want a solution to this issue and I want this to be resolved as a customer who has put a lot of money into a company who is supposed to provide me with a phone not take it away. AGAIN, SAMSUNG IS SUPPOSED TO PROVIDE ME WITH A PHONE NOT TAKE IT AWAY. This is the worst experience and I am very disappointed with the experience I have received from Samsung, if this is not handled properly and efficiently I will ensure to never do business with Samsung again and also ensure others hear about this on social media and every review outlet I can find. I expect this to be resolved soon and efficiently. Figure this out, Samsung, I have relied on you for a while, don't let a dedicated customer down.

I purchased the Z Fold 2 in October of 2020. It was a fantastic device. In March I noticed some center screen touch sensitivity was decreased. A few days later there was a black "bubble" in the center of the fold where the touch screen had been iffy. I called Samsung on March 15th and after working for some time with one person, was sent a text to contact someone else.
During these calls (a lot repeating myself and information given to the auto attendant) I was asked for phone info from the battery cover. I read off what was on the outside and was told that wasn't bringing anything up and to remove the back cover as the number would be inside. I attempted this with my nail and a small piece cracked off cutting my thumb. I shared this and was told how to get the info needed from the settings menu. I was eventually told it appeared the phone had an LCD bleed. Though not common it does happen with this device. The rep apologized for the inconvenience and stated it would be a warranty repair. He contacted a UBreakIFix store near me, arranged the parts to be shipped and recommended for me to call them in a few days to schedule the repair.
March 29th I was able to reach the tech at the repair site who said they don't work on this phone and weren't sure why Samsung sent me there. The site tech contacted Samsung and called me back. It appeared there was a mistake as only two places within an hour of me have techs for this phone. They gave me the number to one near my office and I contacted them. They shared they do not have the parts yet but would call when they had it.
A few weeks later I called again and was asked the color of my phone as what Samsung sent was wrong. They called me on the 26th of April to say it was in. Because of the time needed to repair this device, I could not schedule around my work and would need to take time off and find a replacement phone as they don't have one. I called Samsung for recommendation as I am a healthcare worker and time off is something we don't have. I also don't have a back up phone as I donate these to a local shelter when I am done with them. Samsung rep could not find my ticket or repair order at all and we had to start over. I ended up having to take time off of work and borrow a phone from a co-worker so I would still be reachable on event of an emergency.
I arrived at the store at open as requested and was informed that the tech needed to call Samsung due to the tiny chip on the battery cover (from my first call). Samsung informed the tech that there was no record of calls prior to the 28th of April and as the chip was not reported, the entire repair is now my responsibility. The tech turned on speaker phone so I could write down the name of the Samsung rep and ticket number for this call. The rep then said he was, "store support, not for customer and by turning on speaker phone for (customer) to hear the call was terminated". Samsung rep then hung up.
I returned to work with my STILL not fully functioning 2 thousand dollar mostly paper weight and called Samsung Support. After more repeating myself and transfer to another rep I asked for a supervisor. I was told at 11 04am that one would call me back in about half an hour. That was almost 4 hours ago. I have no reason at this time to believe Samsung is able to support this device or its customers.

Through subsequent conversations it was discovered that Samsung "customer support" isn't equipped with the right tools to provide support for their customers.
Option 1, placed the burden of cost on the customer, requiring me to buy a second phone, waiting for my return to arrive at Samsung before they process my refund. Option 2, required me to turn my brand new phone into a refurb and was a non-starter. After begrudgingly accepting Option 1, I discovered the phone I wanted was sold out. So, then I was presented with Option 3, which was to return my defective device and once Samsung processed my return they would ship back my old phone. Many more than the Samsung S9 that I upgraded from. On one of the upgrades the adjustment for lighting on the camera changed from 2 inches long in on spot basically across the screen to something that I can bury under my fingerprint and now have to chase this into a corner to get any change in light level for my pictures. Case it to the bottom left to darken or bottom right to lighten. I went to Samsung.com and did a live chat. It was courteous but no help, I did get a "I'm sorry but once the phone does an update there's no going back. It's now what you are going to be working with going forward."
I called them the next day, once again it was courteous. "Again, once the phone updates that's what you are working with." They agreed that this is understandably a challenge but neither could they undo the update nor would they exchange my phone for a phone that has not gone through those updates. So I'm left at the end of the day with a challenging situation at my job with a phone altered to suit a petite person or even a child but no remedy for me, (full grown). I got lots of understanding and another "I'm sorry" but that's it. Oh, I'm still with full warranty... for whatever that's worth

Good morning, I am extremely disappointed in the service I received from Samsung Protection plus. To have to wait 1 month for a replacement phone due to a mistake that was made by you all is inexcusable. I pay $12 every month on-time and If I did not, you would deny my claim without hesitation but that was not the case. You however, decided to deny my claim and hold it in limbo for 1 month while collecting my membership fee as well as bouncing me back and forth to Samsung account support and then back to you repeatedly. I wasted time, energy and had to spend way longer that I needed to with a malfunctioning Samsung device.
When I finally got my replacement device, I was not notified that it had shipped. There are problems with your system and taking ownership for mistakes that were made. If you send out a replacement device to a customer, it is your responsibility to make sure that the IMEI and insurance is tied to this device. The sheer treatment of a loyal customer in this way is not excusable. I expect to be compensated in some manner for this.
Best and be safe,Roger
Update:Received a call from premium care and they indicated that they could not do anything to reimburse me in some way for the time and energy I wasted due to their incompetence. Worst customer service. They have no problem charging me on-time every month and placing restrictions on how long I have to return a faulty device but cannot respect my time. Just as they can penalize me for not returning a device, as a consumer I should be able to do the same.

This is my 4th Samsung series phone - currently Note 20 Ultra 5g. I do like almost everything about the phone but there are a couple of things that I really wish they would address. First, I really wish they would go back to replaceable batteries. I picked up my last phone (a Note 10) when my Note 8 Active just up and stopped. I was told later the problem was probably caused by a shorted out battery. The other really small item is the lengths you have to go to get the device to acknowledge a home based cloud controller drive. Going through the internet with cloud controller app is okay, but shouldn't have to use internet when device is on intranet.

I love my Samsung Galaxy S10+. It's got lots of memory 128 gb & the cameras are amazing. It's easy to use and has a longest battery between charging. Can charge by wall socket or wireless pads. The fast charge wall plug is the best. Using wireless pad requires you to take off any protective case you might use (I use Otterbox). The one thing I dislike is the battery on this model isn't one I can change out like past versions. This model requires you to send your phone to the shop for replacement battery. The size of phone is good, not too big nor too small. I have many apps downloaded through Google Play and still have space for more. The cost was high but well worth it. Since the Pandemic began I had to get a smart phone to be able to now do my doctor visits on an app. I was ok with that but not the price of the phones. I researched and found that Samsung had a Galaxy A10e for $179.99. While I was used to using my one and only flip phone for many years I felt this was something that I needed to invest in and it was time. In the end I am for the most part very happy with the phone. I wish I was better at texting and knowing how to use it a little better like the younger generation (including my really young toddler grandkid's) but there truthfully are some draw backs that I just can't stand.
First Is that unless you have this in some kind of holder or case it will slip and go flying out of your hand. Yes it's that slippery. 2nd I can not for the life of me get the sounds to coordinate between the ring, reminder, volume etc. Then they want to know if you want it on silent....Mmmm good idea but how to know when I get messages. The accompanying book was not written well so if you don't personally know I SPY or GET SMART you are not unlocking those bit harder questions. Explanation of the one star off. Perhaps though this can sum up my feelings on the phone. I had to purchase a phone for one of my sons recently. We didn't think twice. The Samsung Galaxy A10e was our only pick.

The battery store told me it was my fault that my battery failed. They said I should not keep it 100% charged. Although it did not fail until 3 years. My battery charge has always lasted longer than I ever expected. I have used a dozen or more glass screen protectors but they usually cracked in a month or so. I stopped using them and my screen has been fine. The gorilla glass much stronger than the hardened screen protector. The Android operating system has always been very easy to use. I just traded in my fully functional phone to take advantage of a $200 discount that Samsung was offering for a new phone as a trade-in. I didn’t want to pay full price $1,199 for the S20+. It was sent in the original box to Samsung. Apparently, it had lost the charge in the trajectory there. They said it did not turn-on. I don’t see why I had to change the fact that my phone was functioning. I am sure Samsung is used to dealing with all his delinquent customers. I requested my phone back, I figure to have it repair. It came back with additional damage and non-functional. Samsung doesn’t take responsibility for the extra damage cause by their technician.
I can tell they open it, without any care, and they broke the screen even more. They don't really care about their customer, but just to make an extra buck. I feel the only reason they offer to trade-in is for you to send your phone in and they are able to disable the phone. My phone was fully functional, had only a little crack in the bottom. If you are thinking to trade-in don't do it, it is not worth it. I would have like to have know this before. I ended up having to pay full price, and a useless phone.

I ordered the A10E for myself through Samsung.ca, as an upgrade to what I currently had. I had the A10E phone in my possession for approx 2 weeks and started having issues with the screen. I did online chat and phone calls with Samsung.ca over a period of weeks. At the beginning the representatives seemed unable to assist further and this lead to other phone calls. I was finally able to get a hold of a representative who provided a Waybill #. I sent my phone out for inspection. Due to Covid there were delays in the delivery. It was received in mid-July. Follow-up with Samsung determined there was water damage (even though there was no indication on my end of such damage) as there was CORROSION ON MAINBOARD, LCD, DEFECTIVE ON SUB MAINBOARD, SPEAKER. The cost for repairs exceeded the cost of the actual phone.
I was able to speak with an executive representative on July 23, 2020 (after speaking with 3 representatives) and was asked to send an email of my dealings with Samsung. After his review I was advised that because of the water damage the warranty was voided so I cannot even get a replacement phone (older model - A10E). I don't believe there was water damage but I feel that the phone was actually defective. How can I refute this? I only had this phone for not even 2 weeks. Now I am out from the cost of the phone itself, the costs of the accessories I also ordered for the phone as well as having no reliable cell phone.
Trying to get a telephone representative who could assist involved several hours of wasted time. I made approx 8 phone calls to Samsung.ca before I actually got anywhere with it. Trying to get support from a Samsung rep through online chat was redundant. Such a big corporation whose only goal is to make money with no support for their clients are now my views of Samsung. I won't be ordering from Samsung again. This is an email I sent on July 23, 2020 to the customer executive department regarding my purchase and issues with the A10E model:
I ordered the A10E in May 2020 through Samsung.ca and received it on June 01, 2020 through Fedex Ground. By June 12-13, 2020 I started having issues with the screen - cloudy, black lines. I initiated samsung chat and could not get anywhere with this. On June 15, 2020 I called Samsung, could not get anywhere with it, I called back on June 18 and June 19, 2020 and was finally able to get a Waybill number. On June 22, 2020 Fedex ground picked up my phone, it was sent to Markham ON on June26, 2020. On July 2, 2020 I called Samsung again, advised of a tracking number.
On July 17, 2020 noted that the phone was received by Samsung in Ontario through tracking. On July 21, 2020 I called Samsung again and spoke with Jonas who advises that they found water damage and asked if I received a phone call or email from Samsung of the same, I advised I did not. I was on hold for approx 40 minutes waiting to speak with a manager but no success. On July 23, 2020 I spoke with 3 representatives and was finally transferred to customer's exec depart and am now speaking with Victor. Order # **. Case # **.
I ordered this phone for myself as an upgrade even though it is an older model. I have also ordered accessories for the A10E to keep it safe. I don't know what happened to this phone as I have stated several times during my discussions that there was no damage when the phone was in my possession. Now I get a bill for repairs that is actually more than what I paid for the phone. I love Samsung products and I was really hoping that the A10E would be of the same quality. Please advise of next steps.

This was my letter to Samsung's CEO, which resolved the rip-off attempt by Samsung.com: "I have never had a problem with my previous Samsung purchases, including tablets, TVs (I still have a wonderful 40in Samsung LCD TV from 2009 - paid $900), 2018 Smart TV and other devices. I saw the S10e cell phone price lowered to $750 in May, BUT my interest was due to the generous $350 trade-in value for my perfect conditioned LG V30. That is the ONLY reason I bought the S10e, because of the trade-in value. I was told several times that my trade-in value takes "3 to 5 business days". On the 6th business day, no decision yet, I was told it takes TEN business days. I called the Samsung 800 number and a nice girl told me not to worry because my trade-in was acceptable, but she would NOT send me confirmation of our conversation. She asked me to wait.
"On the 11th day, still NO decision. I chatted online again and was told to wait 10 MORE business days. What?!? Yesterday evening (Monday, June 17th), the 12th business day, I checked my account and saw a decision posted on my trade-in, BUT it is a FALSE one. No one contacted me via email about the trade-in, as I was told several times they would. I am being forced to pay full price of the S10e. The REJECTION of my trade-in says my phone was not reset. That is IMPOSSIBLE. I know how to reset a phone and I did, because before boxing it, it was at the welcome screen, where it then asks you to choose your country. I then turned off the phone.
"The other REJECTION is that it is blacklisted. That is IMPOSSIBLE. My service provider said my phone was clean when I bought it, and I checked the IMEI yesterday, June 17th, and it is still clean. FINALLY, I am a nervous wreck and have trouble sleeping because I am being forced to pay nearly $800 for a small phone. I wish I could go back in time before this nightmare." The letter ends with a plea for help. The issue was resolved a few days later, thank God and thanks to Samsung's CEO.

I'd give this company -500 stars if I could. I bought a $300 active 2 watch on February 28, 2020. It is advertised that consumers can use it while swimming. I don't even shower with the damn thing on, but I went FLOATING on a TUBE in a 5ft deep POOL for TEN MINUTES *ONE TIME* after activating the water feature and then shaking it out after I was done, like it advised me to do in the users manual, because I have a brain and I can read (customer service accused me of lying and said I didn't do any of that, by the way). It was fine after I went swimming and the rest of the night.
The next day I went for an 8 mile run like I do every day, and the screen completely shit the bed. I called Samsung and they had me send my watch back (they also told me it would be returned to me within 7 days and I didn't even get a response from them for 7 days let alone actually get the watch back). I get an email saying that I owe $219.79 for repair costs for WATER DAMAGE. I fought on the phone with customer service for over 2 hours, went all the way to the top, and they literally told me there was absolutely nothing they could do for me (they couldn't even meet us in the middle and lower the repair cost, just wow), and they told me my 1 year warranty was voided, due to water damage, from going in a pool, which they advertise on their website that you're able to do with this particular watch.
Then, they pissed my fiance off, who comes from a family of lawyers (that was just a bad idea on their end). They still wouldn't do anything. We ended up having to pay $219.79 for a watch we got 4 months ago that originally cost $300 (tell me again why we have to pay almost full price for the watch just to repair the screen??). Well, I hope the $219.79 was worth it because we are serving them with papers from our lawyer. If anyone else has had a similar issue I advise you to do the same. This watch advertises water resistant to 50m and specifies it has a "water lock" mode for swimming as well as a "swimming mode" which automatically turns on water lock. Since I used this function and it failed, they are telling me it is not covered under warranty and want as much money as a new watch to repair it.
The term "lock" means just that, secure. This term is misused on this watch. I had their phone, Note 7, burn up on me. Samsung sent two men out to pick it up. I did not sue for damages, an expensive night stand, bed frame and hardware floor as well as chemical burns in my throat, as I felt they were a reputable company. I purchased a new S10+ from Samsung in Dec. I was noticing problems with phone calls a few weeks after. Phone would either, drop the call and say 'no network available' while it showed 2-3 bars or other person couldn't hear me.... I thought it was my provider. After spending hours working with Sprint to reset all the network settings, updating and a forced update from the pro tech, they said it isnt the network but would send me a signal booster for my home. 3 days later hooked it up (also note only my phone was doing this...there are 4 other phones in the home). Signal booster didnt help.
Contacted Samsung through the computer chat since I cant call them. Fast forward 3 days of chats with over 6 hours, more than 7 people getting transferred, then transferred out of the country, I asked for supervisor.... I had completed a network update, network setting, reinstall updates, restarts, cleared cache, moved everything to cloud and factory reset and Still dropping calls. I told supervisor that this is not acceptable, it's a brand new phone...after much bickering he set an appointment at nearest repair facility (30 minutes away), I took it in, no problem detected. Service facility told me that's what they'd find but would request motherboard replacement because phone has no physical damage, motherboard has to be ordered.
So 3 days later new appointment for today to replace motherboard. I dropped phone off, had to wait 4 hrs....repair tech got the phone to fail 3 calls in a row YAY!! Now, it's documented by a technician. My question is, if a phone is 30 days old and malfunctioning....WHY DONT THEY REPLACE IT. I paid $1000 for a piece of crap and have wasted way too much time trying to fix a new phone. In December I upgraded my nephew's S8 plus to an S10 plus. Samsung reported it added a screen protector to ensure “full functionality of the Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor” on the S10 and S10 plus phones and that a third-party screen protector may cause the sensor to work improperly so I did not purchase a third-party screen protector. Less than three weeks after he got the phone, he dropped it and the screen shattered. I had insurance on the phone so he made a claim to get the phone fixed. The deductible was $139 and it took two weeks to get the phone fixed.
I called Samsung customer service because I felt they should have replaced the phone since their screen protector failed to protect the phone. They told me it was only meant to protect the screen from scratches. I expect more than “scratch” protection on a phone that costs $1000 plus. I would have purchased a third-party screen protector if I had known that the Samsung screen protector did NOT actually protect anything. My nephew was without a phone for 2 weeks, I had to pay the insurance deductible, and purchase a third-party screen protector for $50 so this does not happen again. Had the screen protector worked, he could have used his phone while he replaced the screen protector and it would have been much cheaper.
After three calls to customer service, I filed a complaint with the President of Samsung. Their answer was they are not responsible for physical damage and the screen protector is not indestructible. That answer showed a total lack of concern and was frankly insulting. Had the screen protector cracked instead of the phone screen I would have been happy to purchase a new screen protector. Advertising a screen protector that doesn’t actually protect anything is deceptive at best and fraudulent at worse. Call it a scratch protector and let the customer decide how to protect the phone.
If I had the all the facts from the beginning, I would have purchased a third-party screen protector and the phone would not have shattered. Instead, Samsung acted like we irresponsible and unreasonable for dropping the phone and expecting them to replace or fix it. Everyone will eventually drop their phone and we should all have the facts in order to minimize the phone damage.
This is not a company that cares about their customers or takes responsibility for their mistakes. My S8’s did not come with screen protectors and that was my responsibility to protect them which I did. Samsung needs to take responsibility for the S10’s that may crack due to their lack of honesty. I just want to alert new customers not to trust Samsung.
