    Jessica specifically from customer service was one of the worst phone calls I’ve ever experienced. She was incredibly rude, wouldn’t listen to the actual issue I am having, would only try to get me to purchase a higher plan, would not transfer the phone to anyone else, interrupted me multiple times… I'm still in shock with how customer service for any company could be so terrible. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I received a new phone from PureTalk and within a week they said my data was used (a month's worth of data in all my history with them used up in 4 days). That’s not normal and while others were willing to troubleshoot, Jessica denied any help, denied access to a technician for support, and just was super rude. Choose a different carrier.

    Regarding your mobile data, once your allotted high-speed data is used, speeds are reduced to 256 kbps for the remainder of your billing cycle.

    You can monitor your usage by logging into your PureTalk Portal at https://www.puretalk.com/account/login and selecting the Plan tab.

    You can also check your phone’s Settings menu to see which specific apps are consuming the most data.

    To help stretch your data further, we recommend using Wi-Fi for updates and large downloads, and disabling background data for non-essential apps.

    Pricing is good but, coverage is lacking. Data loading is slow and most of the time non-existent. I have to use my phone on WiFi 99% of the time which isn’t always available. Not good in an emergency. Probably going to be switching back to my old carrier. Very disappointed.

    PureTalk has offered me great coverage in a sparsely populated, rural, mountainous region of Northern California--more geographic coverage than my previous budget provider.     Getting/saving and or deleting voicemail takes too long. You do not need to give a password - you already gave one to get on your phone. You do not need to hear the phone number - you can get that from Recent Calls. Other than that, I think Pure Talk is great.

    I was tired of the big name phone companies acting like they were my only choice. I also knew that some of them supported causes I wasn't in favor of. I had heard of Puretalk through AMAC. The conservative alternative to AARP. I'm so glad I switched. I have been able to call them any time and switch up or down depending upon my needs that month. I've paid as little as $30 and as high as $55 and have actually been given a free phone when it was time for a new one. I believe I've been a customer for more than 5 years.     I purchased a TCL Flip Pure Talk cell phone. It arrived on 12/31/2025. I had to charge the battery and then go on the PureTalk activate site to activate the phone. however, I wanted a brand-new telephone number but couldn't get that. PureTalk only wanted to use something called Porting which takes an old phone number and transfers it to the new phone. But I lost the old phone and I didn't know all the details about the old phone account. One day later PureTalk keeps emailing me to call the Porting Department but I don't have a working phone. They refuse to give me a new phone number so I can use the PureTalk phone. So, I must pay to return the phone to PureTalk and then hope they will refund the full purchase cost. Never again will I try to buy a phone or service from PureTalk.

    I signed up for a plan that says I'm purchasing several GB of hotspot. However, PureTalk does not provide any way to verify how much hotspot I have used. What's worse is, your staff has no way of finding out how much I've used either. I should be able to evaluate my actual usage and make decisions about how much I need to spend.

    You clearly have the ability to charge me extra for hotspot if I exceed my limit without feeling any need and without having the ability to warn me ahead of time that I'm about to exceed my limit. Either that, or you'd slow my hotpot service to a crawl. This is dishonest. It is not Dale Carnegie customer service. It also represents a lack of technical sophistication. How do I know I'm getting my money's worth with the amount I'm paying for hotspot? You sold me a level of usage. You need to prove that you are delivering what I'm paying for.

    Phone calls seem ok but the internet or streaming sucks. AT&T service is not very good in this area. Verizon and T-Mobile works best in my area. It’s super slow or doesn’t load at all. And definitely doesn’t work in a metal building or in a basement.

    Do you enjoy network speeds that rival that of the late 90s or early 2000s? What about constantly saying “I’m sorry, can you repeat that?” or “Can you hear me now?” If so, then Puretalk is for you. Pair that with a customer service team that is pretty useless (I spoke with them 5 times and had 2 good experiences) and it’s easy to see why people like myself go back to the big companies.

    If you’re considering Puretalk, it’s because you want to do the right thing and support American business, but they make it so hard to try and do that. I cannot stress how bad my experience was with them from start to finish, and it’s still going on. I financed phones through them, which was the worst mistake of all, because when you return them (and I can almost guarantee you will not stay) they send them back with new scratches saying that they’re damaged.

    One phone I sent back was perfect and the other had a small scratch. They came back with the perfect one having a small scratch and the other having a bigger scratch, along with new ones. So now I must find a way to offload these phones that are no longer needed and deemed unacceptable for return. And, when I called to get the transfer pins and account number so I could get the ball rolling on the return I was told I would have ten days to complete the process and they shut off my phones within an hour, while I was traveling out of state, leaving me trying to navigate downtown KC without maps. Again, do yourself a favor and stay with the big guys on this one. I used to think that AT&T and Walmart were the worst companies in America, but Puretalk easily takes that crown.

    I'm very unhappy with Pure Talk. My first month with you guys I ran out of data and ended up having it slowed very much. So you say, buy a plan with more data but when I look around now everybody's data plans are unlimited which means 40 to 50 GB and they are still the same price as you. She did speak to someone later & was told to call on Monday to resolve. I hope she receives satisfactory service tomorrow.

    The phone plans are OK, But it's for a lower 3G/4G set up. When you're on the lowest pay plan your data runs out very fast. Uploads are forever so don't be in a hurry. Facebook is like impossible when your plan data runs very low or out. This is a poor man's budget service. As a FIRST RESPONDER I am not satisfied with the quality or customer service. My agent on the phone couldn't help me after I gave her like 10 variables for identification of who I was, Then I found my passcode and gave it to her and she still stated she couldn't verify who I was. This is a fly by night low budget service that piggybacks off another carrier. Just stay with the BIG BOYS and pay for premier quality and service.

    I was very excited to switch to Pure Talk. Sadly, my experience has left a great deal to be desired... like being able to make or receive calls. We live in a rural area but have zero service even in town. Customer service message was"call us" when I was asking for help about not being able to make calls! Customer service was severely lacking. I have a granddaughter with a brain tumor, an expanding business project, live in fire zone as well as normal life. What is the point of a phone that I can't even make emergency calls on let alone Zoom or talk? I have to go outside (forget hopes of connection inside) and repeatedly try to connect. After about 30 tries I give up. Switching to Verizon.

    I love our 5G service compared to Xfinity who we left for Pure Talk. I’ve contacted Customer Service twice and what I love most is I am speaking to a customer service agent who is in the US and speaks English without an accent. I don’t have to continually say, "I’m sorry what did you say?" Jessica helped me tonight on my call and was awesome. Was able to give me a one time courtesy credit due to an error I made in buying additional data. She also put a ticket in to have a manager contact me regarding their Black Friday unlimited talk plan for a rate of $29.95 per month. With no pricing increases ever on that plan.     Easy signup and transfer of existing two phones and numbers from another carrier. Took about 30 minutes to do myself remotely and on their web site using their eSim option. Only issue has been the visual voicemail. Normal voicemail works fine, but can't get existing Android visual voicemail app working with them.

    The service has been great but the come-on advertising about your existing phone being able to be used on their network is greatly deceiving. After telling them the model phones we were using and being told there would be no problem using them and that they would be compatible with their network, BOTH of the devices had to be replaced with a PureTalk branded phone ... at significant cost. So we feel the up-front advertising to get you to sign on by telling you your device would be compatible with their network is probably a bit deceitful because NEITHER of our two existing phones were compatible with the PureTalk network to the point they had to both be replaced.     Service is horrible. If I'm not on WiFi phone barely works. My phone restarts on its own, everyday, usually when I'm in the middle of a call with family or my daughter. I had to buy a cheap phone from them, which is only because they forced me to purchase full price out of pocket. My iPhone's battery literally caught fire in my sleep. PureTalk did not care, didn't want to help out. Made insurance such a pain, I ended up not even using it. Went two weeks without a phone...I'm a veteran, who they're suppose to care about.

    Customer service was horrible during all this, and even had a lady get mad at me lol. Has not been a good decision to switch, I'm having up now so I can get a different carrier. Do yourself a favor, the couple of dollars you think you might be saving is not worth the hassle you will have to go through when it's your turn to deal with customer service...and you will. They tried to make it better by giving me a $50 credit, lol which I could only use on their plan...this company is full of lies and false advertisement. If Mike Rowe only knew.

    I joined PureTalk in 2024 after I ditched AT&T. Ditching my previous plan with AT&T and purchasing a new plan with PureTalk, was the best decision I ever made with phone service.     Live in NE Florida, rural area right miles from town. At&t tower in area. All data and sometimes phone service unavailable multiple times every day. Shopping online, paying bills is difficult, never know when signal will disappear inside or out of home. Open fields all around so it is not trees blocking signal. When I talked with Pure Talk customer service, they just said get another carrier! In town excellent, fast data so it's not my phone.

    In my opinion, free boosters should be provided in these areas as we pay same rates in bad signal areas as in good signal zones. Each time I'm told they see I have full service, which is not true. I've read that lower cost carriers are dropped from signal when heavy usage from tower? experienced to provide higher rate users uninterrupted service. I believe it's in the small print. Didn't know it would be multiple times daily. Very disappointing. Sometimes up to an hour at a time. Hope I never need emergency responders for a heart attack! And last, when I have service, I can rarely watch in full any feeds, takes way too long, constant buffering.

    One of the worst companies I have dealt with. This company prioritizes new customers over loyal existing customers. They do not offer their low price offer to those that they already have locked in. For a veteran owned company, they have forgot where they came from. They do not take care of their own, leaving existing customers behind.

    Customer service is absolutely atrocious. They have limited hours. They are on bankers hours. If you have cell problems of an evening, night or weekend, you are thoroughly screwed. Trying to get help from their customer service is actually worse than speaking with a foreign based customer service where English is second language. They read from a preset script, nothing more. They advertise a low cost. This is a bait and switch. If you take low cost, you do not get the unlimited data. Even Unlimited data is throttled back after a certain amount. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. You would think military veterans could do better.

    This is my experience. Yours may vary. After being with Verizon for 26 years, I switched to PureTalk. There were some issues with the switching. Mostly caused by Verizon unlocking a phone purchase 7 years ago. Verizon cost me about 4 hrs to remedy this talking to operators overseas. I live In a valley of mountains. Service is very bad here. 26 years ago only Verizon worked at my house. Since towers have been added over the years. Verizon got worse. Others got better. I get as good or better service with PureTalk!

    Had to call customer service on PureTalk 3 separate times with 3 different phone issues. The 3 times I spoke with different women. They fixed the issues over the phone.

    I'm sorry that I switched from Verizon to Pure Talk. I thought I might be saving money and also supporting an organization that is helpful to veterans. Instead I am paying $15 a month more for the same coverage. When I signed up, the phone came in the mail but no SIM card was included, and it took repeated phone calls and two weeks with no phone service at all before I was able to use the phone. The advertising with Mike Rowe saying that service is $25. a month is misleading. I bet you are sorry that you asked! I don't mean to be negative, but thought you should know my honest opinion.

They treat new customers better than loyal customers who have been with them for years. Horrible service. I asked to talk to the supervisor and they were unable to provide that.     I bought the $30 plan, it wasn’t fascinate for me. I like the game and watch TV all at one time. So I upgraded to the $55 plan, and everything seems to be going well now.     Absolute waste of time. I clicked an affiliate link to try out Puretalk, it lead me to the Black Friday deal. 30 bucks a month for life with unlimited everything and 30gb hotspot sounded great. Unfortunately after I paid I learned that they can only port in numbers from previous carriers (I wanted a new number as I moved across the country and my area code hasn't matched my location for three years). And while I had chosen to add a second line for another 10 dollars, apparently that was only to add a second line to the same phone??? Is the market really so saturated with people needing two phone numbers on the same device that this should be the default option? The purchase page is scammy/poorly designed, the customer service rep was some Shaquisha with an attitude, this whole venture was a waste of my time and patience.

    I have been a Pure Talk customer for two months. While we were promised service at home, we have had SOS, which means zero service, the entire two months. Service away from my home and near town works. And every single time I have called customer service for something, I am treated rudely, or they refused to speak to me about the matter. I have been overbilled, and they will not even discuss the matter with me. They gave me a pin code. And then refused to accept it when I wanted to talk about it with this complaint. Service will end today. The only reason I gave them two stars is because service works fine in some places.

    Cancelled Verizon because I'm tired of dealing with them and their long LONG wait times, not to mention their unethical. PureTalk didn't give me the coverage I needed so I then transferred to Mint Mobile all within 24-36 hours. I was told that I would not be charged anything if it was unsatisfactory within the first week. I was never refunded my money. I called back and was told that it was processed, again. Then, 2 weeks later, I checked and only 1 of the 3 charges was refunded. I'm on the phone with them now and regardless of the outcome, the rating still stands at this point. I have to now call into question their ethics.

    So far, I'm pretty pleased with the cell service, but wife who owns an Apple phone, is NOT pleased with how difficult it was to get setup and switch from our earlier carrier. (Took 2-3 days to get her signed in.) She tells me she is still getting messages telling her how much data usage she is using every time she texts someone. Which is weird, as she rarely uses her phone. I don't get those messages on my Android. Too, I can't participate in group texts if the group is larger than 8 people. That's a bit annoying.

    As a family, we all used to use TracFone. We used them well over five years, and everything went fairly smooth, until I wanted to buy a phone from their website. That is when the Hell started. I bought a phone off their website (Samsung A32) and when I received it, the phone was not even working right. The screen would glitch and black out as soon as I started to set the phone up. So, obviously, I had to return it. INSTEAD of having an easy, simple, and quick return option, TracFone forced customers to call the company and talk to heavily-accented people who were kind but rather difficult to deal with. Calling TracFone to return my phone TOOK FIVE MONTHS. And the worst part is: THE PHONE IS MISSING AND I NEVER GOT MY MONEY BACK!!!

    But with Pure Talk, everything has been so simple and easy. I bought an iPhone 14 from this company and it was the easiest process ever. They were prompt and sent me many emails to update me on my order. The shipping went fine and setting up my phone was a breeze. I haven't had any issues, but I know that if I had any, I would not dread calling the company for help like I did with TracFone. I am so appreciative of this company. It is not often you find companies with high standards. Or companies that quickly respond with a polite tone. But Pure Talk is all of that and more.     I switched to Puretalk, first to help veterans. Second, cheaper carrier. If I would have known the service and customer service was going to be this horrible? I would of just paid the higher bill with the major carriers. Everyone wants to pass you off. Example Puretalk: "You're paying for insurance, you need to call Allstate." Allstate: "We don't do phones here, call our sister company Square Trade?" Square Trade: "It's under manufacturer's warranty, call Samsung." Samsung: "You need to take it to a phone repair shop..." Meanwhile dropping calls left and right, cutting out, plus the phone is emitting radiation and cooking my leg from the inside out. I just wanted them to send me a different phone. As a trucker who relies on a phone for weather, mapping, fuel stops, communication... to other truckers, drive away from these people, worse than where the road meets a bridge.

    Lost my phone while in Ca. Called PureTalk and they told me to buy a new phone for $154.00. I did and they sent it to my home in Nebraska. I remained in Ca. and didn't return to Ne. for 5 weeks. I later found my phone 2 days before I returned to Ne. When I got home the new phone was there, but I didn't need it, so I called pure talk and was told to mail it back to them. I did and 16 days later I received another phone with no explanation. I called them and they said it was past 30 days from date received for a refund and the warehouse has final say on refunds. Customer service rep was polite but couldn't help me, so I canceled my service.

    Calls dropped and poor coverage for my area have been a real problem for me since switching to PureTalk. I was on the Verizon network and since changing to Puretalk/AT&T I've lost more calls in a week than Verizon in a year. What is up with that? Not happy.

    I really enjoy PureTalk. I get good signal, good pricing and customer service always answers the phone. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars, is that AT&T has outages in my area a few times a month. The last time I contacted customer service, I was told there is an outage, unsure of the problem, or estimated repair time. If it wasn’t for my wifi calling, I’d be out of a phone during those times. They also do updates without informing customers about it. I work nights, and they do their updates around midnight, again, losing all service. For most part, I have been much happier with them than I was with my prior 3 providers.

    I was a big fan of PureTalk. Price was so much better than that V company…then I went to Italy for two weeks. We went through the $20 within the first day of arriving in Italy. For some reason the puretalk website was blocked so I had to call to add data. $10 of data is gone in a few hours and the tax brings the cost to $14.67. Tried to minimize the amount of data we used and still spent well over $150 in added charges. PT is great in the US, Not so much out of the country. I will change back to the Big V company before we travel again.

    I looked forward to changing to a company that supports veterans. I changed to Pure Talk on July 17,2025. I kept my Iphone 12 Pro. It worked fine. However I purchased an Iphone 16e to replace my wife's old flip phone. We kept our numbers. I called your customer support to setup the Iphone 16e. They could not get it to work and transferred me to your Teck Support. After more than an hour they decided to load another esim. It didn't work. I spent several hours on toe phone with customer service and was also told to call Apple during the next week or more.

    Customer service finally agreed to send me another phone. It was a used 16e. Same problem. Same instructions from customer service and Teck support. They even blamed the problem on an AT&T tower. I told customer service that if they couldn't get my wife's phone working prior to my 30 day satisfactory period, I would cancel and find another carrier. Two days before my 30 days were up, I reminded them of this. They agreed to send me another phone. I refused another 16e. I told them, I would pay the difference. WE agreed on an Iphone 14. SAME problem. They loaded another esim. While customer service was talking me through the setup, I noticed they had loaded MY phone number instead of my wife's number. They loaded another esim. The phone finally worked.

    A few days after the above problem, I noticed my phone was displaying recent calls, I had not called or received. They should have been on my wife's phone. Also, my account shows the account phones are wrong. Customer service took the correct information, corrected the recent calls problem and said the account would be corrected. The recent calls worked properly for a few days, then went back to the same problem. I called again and was transferred to tech support. He never seemed to understand the problem and told me to call Apple. I gave up.

    The account information is still wrong. It shows an iphone 16e, which we don't have. It shows am iphone 17 for my number instead of my iphone 12 Pro. The required insurance is on the wrong Phone. At least, my wife can now make and receive calls now. While I appreciate your veteran support, your tech support leaves much to be desired. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told none was available. Rather than spending hours on the phone with someone who doesn't appear to care about fixing your problem, I will find a more competent company.

    So far I am very happy with PureTalk's service. I had previously been with Verizon for 26 years, but every time I had to call them, I had to wrestle with their auto attendant, to get a person. I knew it was time for me to leave when I started to interrupt Verizon's AA's 'Main Day Greeting,' telling it, "I'd like a cheeseburger, well done, and a chocolate shake."

So, since I never got my Cheeseburger and Shake, along with dealing with a slew of Verizon incompetence, and arm twisting to sign up for their warranty coverage every time I called; I ditched them for PureTalk which costs half of what I was paying to Verizon for the exact same 3 lines and features.     Poor customer service. You are at least speaking to an American. I bought a new Samsung A16. 3 months later it would not let me log in. No help from them. Had to factory reset. Lost everything. Work and personal. Never get some of it back. I wanted them to prorate my phone so I could get something else, willing to let them examine it first. Of course it is in perfect shape. No help. Keep an unreliable device or switch at my own cost. Could understand not getting a full refund. But something for selling me a refurbished or damaged phone would have been nice. Anyway stuck using my old phone. The A16 is an unreliable paperweight. Going back to Patriot mobile. They will pay off that piece of junk Puretalk ripped me off on.

    Honest Update: My initial review was made way too early to show the true nature of PureTalk's care for their members. When I made this review, I was in the middle of what seems to be a one off. I was in a state of frustration and confusion. What kept me on the hook was the sincerity in one of the representative's tones, I wasn't hearing scripted apologies. It was early on in the process, but she had said she'd never seen this particular issue before and that she was going to be genuinely invested in finding a resolution.

    We started off on the wrong foot, it seems as though my ordering on a weekend plus constantly calling in could've been a factor. Whatever the case, it was finally sorted out, and they upgraded my delivery to overnight shipping automatically at no charge.

    When I received my device, I encountered another hiccup with the porting. I requested a supervisor, and this supervisor walked me step by step through the porting process and didn't leave me until I properly completed all steps.

    The next day, I was set up, and everything was as promised. From the time the initial issue was resolved/shipped out, to phone getting activated and fully operational was roughly 48hours. I need to mention every point of contact was LOCAL. A couple of the representatives were from my own city here in Arizona. THIS IS HUGE.

    Language barriers are not a thing here, and every representative talked to me like a human, not just a 'customer' - it didn't feel like talking to a brick like every other outsourced customer service. They were everyday Americans like us- bright ones, at that. There was never any empty sympathy.

    Updated on 11/02/2025: Look, this company is not a replacement for major wireless. This is targeted for people who don't really use their phones like seniors. If you use your phone for work, stay at the major companies. Home base (US) customer service is a plus. Great plan options- if they were true. Only thing is being misled by unlimited data. I currently have the highest plan option for 65$ that says unlimited talk, text and data. Data is already spotty and slow, but After a couple of weeks, my data stopped working altogether as if I no longer have service- Safari goes to blank page saying 'no data'. All my apps say 'no data', my work app won't load. Some apps won't even open.

    I come to a coffee shop with my laptop and open my account. Apparently 'unlimited' means 60gb. The backup after 60gb is 257KBPS- too slow for our phones to even process before a timeout error. So essentially, they're loopholing the "unlimited" by still giving you the 257kbps, but it doesn't work on the newer phones- which should be illegal for them to claim. I Haven't even had a full cycle with them and not only did they hold my money hostage for a few weeks, they blamed it on me for not responding to an email- get this- that they NEVER SENT. After dozens of phone calls. a couple of weeks of them already having my money and days after my previous complaint here- they finalized everything and gave me "next day" delivery- it took 58 hours after they said I got next day shipping- not their fault I'm sure, but still (I paid for 2 day- they took 2 weeks).

    Anyways they gave me a 65$ credit as an apology for a free month. But here I am another two weeks later with an iPhone that can only call and send SMS. You need to pay an arm and leg for extra crumbs of data. I travel a lot for work and now I can't even load maps. Since it's faster to get things done here rather than over the phone or email, how do I get my money back. The people you pay to advertise this company need to know the false claims you're having them make.

    Original review: Absolutely frustrating customer service. I've been lied to about an email they allegedly sent requesting my ID. I NEVER GOT AN EMAIL ON THE DATE THEY SAID THEY SENT IT. NO MENTION OF NEEDING ANYTHING FROM ME. I made the purchase on a saturday. I called wednesday. They said they need my id so I sent it wednesday. They told me again how it's my fault they haven't fulfilled my order because they asked for my id on 10/5/25 and never heard from me- which is a lie- I don't have ANY emails from them on that date, I've sent my id in to multiple representatives and have called in MULTIPLE TIMES. I keep getting lied to, and have been given the runaround and apparently there's still no progress made.

    PureTalk is OK. They're nice and cheap, very affordable but their service isn't The best. It's very laggy and takes forever. I think Pure talk is better for when you are traveling on vacation because for some reason you get better internet connection when you are traveling, but when you're outside of your home you don't seem to have the best internet connection. I'm thinking about switching to Straight Talk or T-Mobile because I've heard that they have Good internet.

    The worst company I’ve dealt with. I initially signed up with them although I had a service with AT&T because of being a listen to the Ben Shapiro show. I wanted to support his work and them advertising themselves as a service member oriented company I wanted to support them as well. I discontinued my service with them because I wasn't happy with the services overall. The device they sold me (a dumb flip phone) most of the time didn't work. Messages app would not work. After I discontinued the service they didn't say anything of a standing balance and I received a letter in the mail from a collection agency not even a month after I had finished paying my last bill for a collection of $73. I called the PureTalk and paid the bill and they won't even send me a receipt for having paid to show the collection company. What a joke!

    We signed up for 2 phones for PureTalk and they came with no instructions on transferring data from a previous phone. Since we had 90 days to activate, we saved them for our trip to son and daughter-in-laws to transfer and set up for us. Small print, once 30 days goes by they charge you full price for the phones ($665), and will not reverse it even though you intend to sign up. According to Supervisor, that's it, 30 days, you are charged even if you activate on the 31st day, its not reversible. Plus, the savings are not what's advertised.

    Once you sign up for the plan that fits you, it's only a little less than what Verizon is charging. I wonder how many phones are charged full price for with no recourse. They are worse than Verizon on any ability to be flexible. They really don't care - they have their $665 - sign up or don't sign up, it was clear they do not care. For us, it was an expensive lesson it what appears to us to be a bait and switch. We will not sign up b/c if they are so inflexible, what comes next? Unlimited rate hikes later? Bad service? Who knows. So disappointing that we fell for this and lost all this money for nothing.

    I went to transfer my service from ATT and their high prices. Come to find out, PureTalk is on the same network! Yay! Customer service was delightful, but the transfer was abysmal. After turning off services with ATT, transferred services, and it didn’t work. Four different calls into customer service (wait time wasn’t bad) and every time they thought they completed the transfer but no cell service. Finally I called in today after giving it overnight to reset (which I thought was BS) and they said towers are out and I couldn’t have service for another month. I was dumbfounded. Why would I want to be without service for a month?! I hung up and called ATT to restart services. I’ll never go through this again. My PureTalk technical support ticket number was **.

    Bought a refurbished phone from them in May. It took 4 weeks for their tech support to figure out it was a dud phone. I mailed it back in June. No reimbursement on my credit card in July or August. They mail it back to me in Sept for me to do a factory reset.     I regret trying PureTalk. I was unable to port my number despite multiple attempts, and the process has left me without service for several days. Customer service has been nearly impossible to reach, and when I finally did get through, I received no clear resolution or timeline.     So far it has been good experience. Notice for some reason, at some locations without wifi, data does not kick in for internet service. Although phone and text works fine. Customer service is great whenever I've used it. Daughter Elise is no longer on my account.
