Service is awesome for being MVNO, never had a single issue with them. Internet and coverage is incredible, price is just right, I love that customer service is based in the Good ol USA, which is the reason why I switched, I would recommend PureTalk to my family and friends.

Around November 6, 2020 I signed up with Pure Talk because people like Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity sang your praises. I dropped Verizon who I had for years. I never had any problems with them. Well I've had nothing but trouble with Pure Talk. It started almost immediately. I couldn't get the voice mail set up for one thing and I wasn't able to text. But then I'm not very tech savvy. I did call to get some help with it and the first girl wasn't any help at all. She really didn't seem to want to be bothered with someone like me.
A day or so later I called again and got a girl who was very nice and very patient. She took me down a long list of things and told me to check each item, which I did. Except when we got to the next to the last item I checked it but it didn't go in. I tried to tell her it didn't but she insisted it did. After that I still didn't have voice mail. I called again but got nowhere. I decided at that point I was going back to Verizon which I will as soon as I have time to go there. Meantime things have only gone downhill even more. In the beginning I was able to stream songs in my car from my phone. Then one day all of a sudden I can't. (I prefer Discs but this car doesn't have a disc player.) Another thing I can't do is receive group texts or send pictures. I was able to use the GPS but then that stopped.
It seems the only thing you've been efficient with is withdrawing money out of my account. Boy you did that a few minutes after I hung up with you on the first call!Incidentally, when I started having problems I checked for other customers' remarks and found out other people have had problems with Pure Talk too. Wish I checked them before I switched. I'm not only going to go back to Verizon, but I'm writing to the CEO of Pure Talk and writing to all of the radio hosts that sing your praises and telling them they shouldn't use you as a sponsor. 1. Cannot download some texts and videos and pictures. Very pleasant and knowledgeable representative but the fix did not work. 2. Previously called about the fact the voicemail never lets me know when I have a message to listen to. Very pleasant rep on that call also but it appears a useful version of that feature is not offered.

Phones work just as good as they did before with one of the big name carriers. With 4 phones in our family our bill went down about 53%. Yes, less than 1/2 what it was before. And no more of my money being donated to garbage I don't agree with.

PureTalk does exactly what they say they will. My phone service is as good as AT&T, but at a quarter of the cost of my company contracted plan. So much better. In fact, so much so, I moved my daughter and son-in-law's services over to PureTalk. Big plus, a veteran owned company, and I when I needed help, I got to talk to a very helpful young lady in the US. All about supporting our own, especially veterans!

Admittedly, I was worried about moving to PureTalk from T-Mobile because I didn’t know how the cell service would compare. I have been shocked that often it is better than what I was accustomed to. I have just as much service if not better than what I had previously. This is great confidence knowing that I can maintain service will also save a lot of money.

I have enjoyed my experience with Pure Talk very much. My service is great with no interruptions so far. I can also speak to a representative when I have concern. The affordability is the best feature! They also offer great deals on a variety of phones.

Really amazing service! Switched from Verizon and have been saving $54 monthly. I go camping a bunch because of covid lockdowns and always manage to get service compared to my friends with ATT etc. I get some lagging issues when there is no wifi but the switch is 100% worth it.

I can't text pictures when I text my contacts. I cannot send texts to some people or emojis either don't go through to some contacts. I can't get service a block away from my home, in the car, at the gym, in the yard or when I travel.

Good coverage, but a bit patchy in more rural areas; that’s not really unexpected. But for the most part works well at an unbeatable rate. Only problem I’ve had is that I have to reset my phone frequently to access the service, but I suspect that’s related to my phone or possibly I have a faulty sim.

Overall our experience has been good. I would love to see a PureTalk app to manage account instead using the website. I've found signal strength as adequate and would love VOP available. For cost and our personal needs this plans works well for us.

Your service does everything we were using through Verizon, but at half the cost. When we had a few problems setting up our phones and adding a new one, customer service was very helpful and patient with us. We would recommend Pure Talk to our friends. Thank you!

Very long wait to talk to tech. Have called 3 times about call on phone no ** breaking up. Not fixed yet. We have put different codes in settings, changed cell tower, and now they are sending new SIM card. Must get this fixed or will have to cancel service. ** works fine. Given wrong info by customer service. Phone calls ended by amber alert sound. 611 says I need to pay up credit to complete a call when I'm on unlimited and auto pay..said it was problem during system updating--cant be fixed. Need to call in to reset phone. Then later told that was wrong. Internet is weak and slow. Will change soon.

1st time activation and porting took 7 days. Ordered 2nd time got replacement sim sent had to reorder. Doesnt specify that it was a replacement sim. Doesn't state that you must pick a sim and package. Then problems on 2nd activation and port. My account on Straight talk is my email address. What they wanted was sim # with Straight Talk. Hoping service is better than customer service.

About 2 months ago I switched from a basic AT&T plan costing $53/mo to the PureTalk 2GB for $20/mo plan. I live on Maui and have had the same excellent coverage that I always had previously, and am beyond thrilled to be saving so much every month, AND getting 2GB instead of 1GB. Porting my phone number over to the new iPhone SE I ordered was a quick and simple online process. Wish I had heard of PureTalk much sooner!!

On my previous carrier I had an unlimited usage package, but seldom ever used more than 4 GB, so I assumed that I would be safe if I purchased a 6 GB package from PureTalk. Lo and behold I promptly exceeded my allotted amount and encountered connection difficulties. Somehow my use was far beyond 6 GB! I elected to go unlimited on my phone. I am satisfied, but am not experiencing the Great savings. No matter, I mostly changed on principal rather than cost.

Re our four phones, the coverage is not that great. Not many options for service like family locator. The WiFi goes on and off. Calls on one phone goes to other phones at the same time, not happy about that.

I bought a phone and subscribed with Pure Talk (PT) early Dec. Porting of my number took several days. Although I could send/get texts, pictures and use internet, I could not make or receive a voice call. Spent 1 hour on hold with Cust Svc (CS) then Tech Support (TS) and then back to CS. Was told I would get an RMA within an hour. It took 24 hours. Was told to return by FedEx and that PT would cover shipment since phone was defective. No Fed Ex info provided so I had to pay out of pocket to send USPS, Priority, insured. Day after I got RMA I called again to verify that my replacement phone had been sent because I would need it to work. Was told it was on the way. Waited a week and no phone (it was now Dec 24).
Called again and was told "that's not how it works" in contradiction to what I was told a week earlier. Shipped phone on Dec. 28. back to you. Receipt at your headquarters by tracking record was Jan. 4. Waited 4 days and called for tracking information on replacement phone. CS sent me to TS and then back to CS because no one could tell me if the phone was sent. Another hour on the phone. The last CS PROMISED he would call me, personally, when the phone shipped as well as email. Phone to ship no later than Jan. 11. Got no call or email.
Jan. 13 I called for the 5th time and the CS said she could not see the information, could not get ahold of a lead. Took my call back info and PROMISED to call me back with the info when she got it. No call back. Jan. 14 I finally got an email that the phone has shipped. Today is Jan 15, I don't have the phone yet and you want a freakin good report? I haven't had a functional phone for 45 days since I ported my number to a PT phone. Zero or negative stars wasn't an option.

I would have to say best switch I ever made. My cell service and data with Verizon was horrible at best and I was paying $117 a month and was very hesitant. But after switching my cell bill is now $56 and I get 100% better service and no lag in my data. I am very happy!

When I first heard of Pure Talk USA on the Mark Levin radio shop and a military person started the company I became interested. So I decided to give it a try and now could not be happier. I enjoy the same reception and activity I did with my old company and a lot cheaper.

You guys screwed up delivery of my phone which I rely on for internet connectivity so I missed the election as it was happening. Then when I finally did get the phone I used 18GB of data to reinstall everything off of my last phone, I reached your data limit the next day after 30 minutes of a YouTube video then found out I cannot buy additional data so I was stuck with a useless phone since you throttled me back to 80-120 KBPS. I had to buy another phone from Cricket and start another account just to maintain connectivity with the world.
Your customer service sucks and you end up having to make multiple calls explaining your situation multiple times in addition to either hang-ups or broken connections with NO call back, inability to get a supervisor, so you are stuck with minimally qualified knuckleheads who cannot help. Non-native English speakers or sistah’s with plenty of attitude is what I’ve gotten EVERY SINGLE time I call. As soon as I find a decent company I’m outta here.

I switched to Pure Talk because my previous carrier would increase my rates every few months. I had been with the carrier for several years and got tired of the increases. Keeping my phone and switching to Pure Talk was easy. However, this being my fourth month with Pure Talk, I noticed a slight increase in my bill. My plan cost was the same and taxes did not increase where I live (I checked) so the increase had to be a fee.
After waiting on hold for several minutes, a female came on the line and asked how she could help. When I explained, she replied she did not know why there was an increase, but would find out. She never returned to my call. I stayed on hold long enough that it eventually kicked me out of the call and back into the original greeting from Pure Talk where you pick a selection. Sounds like they take customer service training from a cable company. I am now on hold again with a second customer service rep and still have no answer.

We have friends in Mexico, we’re always able to call them with our former phone company. I paid the extra $10.00 for the international call, but never was able to get through, although I tried numerous combinations. Completely frustrating! Why should it be made so difficult? Clear calls, great customer service experiences, above and beyond helpful. We've had a couple instances with dropped calls, but overall better call service than AT&T. We could go full unlimited and still be almost $100 under what we were with AT&T and Verizon.

Started a little rough with my phone not being able to receive calls, however, once technical services resolved the issue my service has been trouble free. I am saving $600 a year switching to Pure Talk!! Keep up the outstanding service!!

You would think unlimited is unlimited not 30 gigs and after that nothing works i.e. can’t even check emails. I switched to Pure Talk thinking I was getting a little bit of a better deal 20$ less than my previous carrier but they were truly unlimited. Honestly I’m thinking of switching back. Paying for the highest plan should mean exactly what it says unlimited.

We joined Pure Talk hoping to save some money. We went thru the AMAC and got a little extra on data. I was not real sure about switching from our server but I am here to tell you we are saving, for two lines, more than 50%! I would recommend pure talk... No problems...

I have a Galaxy S8, first, I have to reboot my phone two or three times a day to send or receive phone calls. It will ring and then drop. I have missed several important calls due to this. Second, I cannot hotspot with my phone as I did with AT&T. Price is good but service is lacking.

The service has been better than AT&T. They are very friendly and helpful every time I call. It was very easy to switch over. They are veterans. I haven't had as many problems as I have With AT&T. The data plans are very good. I only have 2 gig of data but have never used all of that anyway. And if you do go over. You're still covered.

After having issues with several of my cell phones on my plan (not allowing data to come through or IMEI issue), since all have been resolved by calling customer service. The people who assisted me were exceptionally nice and willing to help get the problem resolved quickly. I am very happy I left AT&T. I recommend PureTalk to everyone I know. It’s sufficient-don’t really use much. If you check activity you will see that - it is attached to one of my small business accounts. I needed another phone which was tied to that paper exclusively. I really don’t have much else to say about the service. I think it’s worth the $10 a month.

Sometimes it takes days to receive texts from different people and then I get them all at once. Several times I have not been able to place a call yet it goes through on a different phone/carrier. Data doesn’t always work in certain areas where other people’s phones are working.

I’m glad to be able to switch from a very expensive cellphone carrier but was surprised to be charged a $5 fee because I had to update my payment info. My debit card was hacked in December and I’d forgotten that my monthly renewal was tied to my debit card. Kind of surprised I was penalized for that.

When I switch I was supposed to get 3 months at 22.50 or half off, never saw it and when I called the Rep said I was wrong and only 1 month, which I also never got. Less than pleasant on the phone or helpful so I gave up. Service itself is fine, just don’t like the voicemail as I have to call in to see if there are messages after missed calls. I have decent phone service but cannot receive text message that contain images or send and I only get internet when I am at home. I have a Samsung Galaxy phone and I keep hearing Rush say how good the service is. I did not have any problems when I was with ATT.

Your customer service was excellent. Above and beyond expectations. I would for sure recommend your service. The only issue I have is now and again there is a dead spot where the people on the other end say I disappear and they can not hear me. This happens when I am sitting at my desk or on a walk but with a strong signal.

They say they offer a business service. Website shows they do. Do Not bother trying to inquire about it. After a week and a half of dealing with many well meaning people we have gotten nowhere trying to set up a business account. They whine about it being new. Evidently they have done a poor job with its rollout. They absolutely do not have their act together. Why would you offer a new service that you cannot even discuss with a potential customer. Filling out the web form is useless. If this is the way this company does business and provides customer service might as well stick with big carriers. Their service now actually looks great compared to this mess. Thanks for wasting our time!

I have been waiting for a rebate since early December. No one seems to know what to do, who I should speak with, when it will be issued. Customer service sent me to a few different departments, then told me Phobio was responsible for the rebate. They said they were not, sent me back to Pure Talk. I spent about 3 hours on the phone within 2 days. I still have no idea where the rebate is.

Like the cost,,, doesn't work in all areas around here, says no voice service. Havent tried it many areas but a couple I frequent within sight of towers I get no coverage. Otherwise seems good when in my immediate area, use phone very little, but wish it covered better.

I was with AT&T before and I understand this is supposed to be AT&T service. I have a new Samsung S20 phone. My internet speeds are incredibly slower than when I was with real AT&T. I have run many speed test and it buffers. It's horrible and I'm not on my Wi-Fi.

I have had voice mail since it became available and this is the first time I have encountered this issue. Setting this up has been rather time consuming and even after speaking with your customer service for assistance was not able to set it up correctly...I have two phones and was able to set up one account but using the same method have never been able to set up the second phone...Except for this problem and the now becoming longer and longer wait time for assistance everything else is great.

I have been pleased with the telephone service. I have noted some issues with my texting function——. In Texas recently, for example, I became aware of multiple missing and/or delayed text messages on group texts with family members. This concerns me particularly in my business use. I was an AT&T customer and I was paying $140 per month for two lines with unlimited data and hotspot. Service from ATT was good but, it was too expensive. I bought two lines from Pure Talk with hotspot. One line has 2GB data and the other comes with 10GB data. I now pay $50 per month ($20 + $35) - 10% discount. Service has been excellent and just as good as before. I selected Pure talk because they use ATT towers so, I knew the service would be good. I highly recommend!

I got my wife a smartphone (Android). It would not sent or receive photographs. I spent hours on my phone with Pure Talk work no results. This included getting a second phone and more hours with Pure Talk. I finally got in touch with Nokia and after some time with them THEY figured out what the problem was.

Agent was told Hotspot was sole reason to switch, using Sam Gal Note 9. After switch was told, "Sorry, Hotspot for Android not guaranteed ". Angry with bait and switch. Still don't have Hotspot capability despite numerous calls to customer service, tech support and upper level supervisors. This survey is not working properly and that, too, causes a disappointment in the company and those it contracts to conduct the survey.

I have a home in Madison/Buckhead/Greensboro, Ga area and family and little or no service. I can move from bedroom (no service) to living room and sometimes 1 bar on and off. This is terrible service and no better than the major carrier I had; Verizon!

Since switching to Pure Talk, the quality of outgoing sound of my phone calls is awful. My texts go through late sometimes. When I went out of town, I didn't have any reception for days, so I couldn't make calls of texts. I'm switching back to Verizon. My family keeps complaining to me that they can't hear me. I really need a reliable service provider especially on the road.

It took way over a month, closer to two, to get a number transferred to the phone we got from Pure Talk. This was due to pure talk employees not knowing the correct protocol. I spent countless hours on the phone with both companies, I feel like I should get some type of credit on my account.

I cancelled my purchase. Wanted a refund, I even sent back the sim card! Never was cancelled and without me catching until now Pure Talk still taking out of my bank 23.00 for last 3 maybe 4 months. Now I will not go back to puretalk and I am contacting BBB and FTC.

I transitioned to Pure Talk because my coverage on another network was getting worse and worse. Porting my numbers was extremely easy, I was very nicely attended by the helpline. Since the beginning, my service has been superb, the coverage is better than what I had been used to have in years and the speed is consistently great.

I have not received text, people haven't received my text... And sometimes they do? It is very unreliable and I will be changing service in the near future. I am very unhappy with this phone service and would not recommend to anyone until these issues are resolved. Nowadays, we can't have a phone where we never know what will be sent, and what has or hasn't been received.

I purchased a New phone from FH with this service ad in there. So I called and got a SIM card sent out to me. I tried calling once before and getting it fixed but it hasnt BEEN resolved. Picture text incoming or outgoing cannot receive. Also had a question on how to pay my bill, last month they said if I did it online the website it wouldnt charge me the extra $5 And it Still did.

Truck both phones. My husband and mine are giving us very poor reception. His phone does not want to allow him to answer. We’ve tried everything but shows no sensitivity to his touching the screen. My phone skips every fourth or fifth word. It doesn’t matter what individual or business I’m speaking with so it is definitely a problem with my own phone and as a hospice nurse it is very important that I have the most excellent phone service. We change from Verizon and Pure Talk has not given.

Signing up for PureTalk was easy and non-complicated. Tech support was very helpful in setting up the voice mail. I was having difficulties but she got it working. The low monthly cost was the main reason for subscribing to the service.

I signed up for Pure Talk a couple months ago. I wanted to compare it with my existing service with GCI here in Alaska. Unfortunately I lost the phone that I had my PureTalk account with so I thought I'd order one from PureTalk so that I could have the same phone number. I was going to order the Samsung Galaxy A51 128GB for $150. I was told I had to pay $400 and the $150 price did not apply to me for some reason. Therefore, I did not order it and may end up cancelling my PureTalk account unless I can find a suitable phone.

I have had occasion to call customer service a total of 3 times since I converted over to Pure Talk -- Twice for questions regarding initial set up and once for setting up my voice mail. Each time There was only a very brief wait before a live person answered my call. With each call the representative was cheerful, pleasant and completely knowledgeable of their Pure Talk product as well as the features of my specific model of mobile phone equipment. The service was complete and resolved within a minute or two.
Of significant importance to me was that in every call, the representative spoke perfect English and I never needed to ask for anything to be repeated because I couldn't understand a foreign accent. Kudos to Pure Talk for their wonderful employees and their excellent service! The only reason I didn't give a 5-star rating is that with Pure Talk I cannot get reception inside most stores like Home Depot, the supermarket, Kohls, BJ's Wholesale club, Walmart, etc., whether in NY, PA, NC, SC or FL.

It’s frustrating to confirm that I am not a robot every time I access the internet and my reception is not as good as Verizon. I had higher hopes for this service. The price for this device is good. I’m still debating on whether to switch service or not.

It was very easy to sign up, and thus far, I’ve had no problems with calls. However, when I first signed up I wasn’t told that my voicemail would have to be set up and some numbers would have to include the area code. But, other than those two issues I’ve had no problems. I’m very happy with Pure Talk. It’s saving me about $45 per month.

I cannot get online from my phone unless I am at home and on my wifi. I have paid for 6G of data. Why can't I get online out on the road. When I go up the road or out of town I can make calls but not go to a website.

I was happy with the Pure Talk representatives but it took two tries to get to your port and several tries to get my old phone number disconnected from Xfinity/Comcast. My service has been good but I had trouble getting my voicemail to work as I had to make three calls before I found a person with the correct procedure to get it to record calls.

When I signed up, informed Pure Talk that I was keeping phone from Verizon. There was no documentation from Puretalk. I did not know that there needed to be multiple setting adjustments that needed to be made and Puretalk did nothing and said nothing about that. I had poor service for about 2 weeks. When I called to tech support for help then I found out that adjustments needed to be made. Everything is good now but, the start up info from Puretalk was very lacking.

Even though the agents have been super helpful they have not been able to help get my phone working. Sometimes the phone rings but most of the time people tell me they had tried to call several times without the phone ringing through. Voicemail won't download. I'm going to switch back to Verizon which I really don't want to do.

I switched to Pure talk because my Sprint/Tmobile was horrible in my home. I wanted to use a major player, so I had service at home. I didn't want to pay their prices. Heard about Pure talk on conservative radio and have been happy. Have had a few issues with home service, but much better than before.

Had Straight Talk for 5 years, no problem. Wanted to switch to American co, I'm very disappointed. Keep thinking about switching back. Poor reception/wifi. Have hard time getting Facebook to come up. Been disappointed from day one! I don't have internet at home, but shouldn't matter,didn't with straight talk. Also, was supposed to get Amac free for 2 years, haven't gotten that either.

We are using the same phones we used with Straight Talk, but we miss about half our calls. The phone doesn't ring, it doesn't show a missed call, and the only way we know if someone called is if they leave a voicemail. Also, lots of times people we are talking with say we are "cutting out" and we move and it works for a little while longer til it cuts out again. The only difference is Puretalk vs. Straight talk. I don't know how much longer I'll be able to stand the poor connections.

Easy to set up, even for a non-technical person. My biggest concern in switching services was that I wouldn’t have a tech rep in front of me to help me transition my old phone to the new. It was easy with the assistance I received from Pure Talk reps. Everything went smoothly and it happened just as they said it would. Plus, I’m saving $40 a month and receiving much better and brought her services for that price. Very happy!

I get some texts, but others are created as downloads, and I cannot open them, some as small as 1kb. Cannot set my voicemail even though I have followed the PT instructions from the site. The frame rate when trying to live chat is also horrible and freezes.

When I recently switched to Puretalk from Tracfone, the Nokia 1.3 I bought from Puretalk had problems that eventually Nokia and Puretalk concluded needed that phone to be sent back for repairs. That wasted a lot of time. Puretalk gave me a full refund toward an upgraded phone of my choice. I am now thrilled with my new Samsung, the ATT network, and Puretalk service.

The customer service was superb, clear, punctual and spot on! Since transferring to Pure Talk November 27, my wife's iphone 7 voicemail has never worked properly. She had to "dial in" with her passcode to listen to vmails. One call to Tech Support and a few minutes later everything worked flawless.

** supported wifi calling with my Iphone 6. Pure Talk does not. Whenever I leave my area, I have to reset the network to get internet. I install Viasat satellite internet and cannot show the customer how well our wifi calling works.

The service is very good coverage has been the same as far as I can tell. There have been a couple of hiccups, one required a call to 611 because the other phone on the account was not working. Technical said that it was a computer glitch and did something right away to fix it. The only other complaint is that the voice mail is not as good as my previous provider. This is a small concern as I do not use it much and is much outweighed by the money that I am saving.

I can't get service, refusal to reactivate my phone. Problem not at my end. Service reps ask the same questions over and over, but nothing is resolved. Bought a Moto phone just to use pt. You're billing me for service when I have none. What a nightmare this company is.

It works about 90% of the time. When I go to Indianapolis every day for work, there are places I cannot make a phone call. Dead spots. When watching or listen to something on the phone, after hang up, it doesn't go back to the program.

I have a serious medical condition which requires good phone communication with the medical team. Which means I need to have very reliable phone service. WE have not experience any good phone service since we joined Pure Talk. Phone does connect when people call. Outgoing call don't connected. Often times I have to keep dialing before it connects. Miss many incoming calls that never ring in. Now if it was just one phone I would have the phone checked but it's all of the phones. Just this morning a friend sent me a text message, I got it 2 hours later. "WE" are not happy and are looking elsewhere or return to our former carrier.

I left Pure Talk today and signed with another carrier. Trying to use my phone with Pure Talk has been a nightmare of dropped calls, people on the other end not able to hear me, links failing when trying to read important correspondence, text message failures and the list goes on. Your rates are great. The service you provide in the state I live in is the exact opposite of great.

I like that Pure Talk is cheap. I’m glad that — as far as I’ve seen — there’s good coverage in my area (Southcentral Alaska.) The only thing I could wish for is a higher data use before high speed cut off. Not that I have any use for it personally, but I know that some people (that I might recommend to Pure Talk) would want that.

I am quite satisfied with my switch from AT&T to PureTalk in November 2020. 2 lines ported seamlessly! 1 new line activated flawlessly! The sales incentives for new phones and 'family' service are great! Your actual cellular service is as I expected - great because you use AT&T Spectrum. I am very disappointed, however, that PureTalk is not yet Apple Watch cellular ready. AT&T is ... so you should be too. What's the hold up?
I love my new phones and service, but if you won't make strides to bring smart watch compatibility to your service, I may need to return home to another carrier that has this compatibility in the future. Being veteran-owned ALMOST earned you 5 out of 5 stars for me, folks. Please look to the future and continue to innovate and move WITH technology (with 5G and SmartWatch integration) - not against it to earn the final star.

Nothing but trouble. I got the phone beginning of October and they couldn't hook me up until the beginning of November.. I have had trouble with it all along and in the third week of November I contacted your people and they said there was something wrong with the phone but that the warranty had run out. I've had a lot of people looking at the phone and nobody can help with it. It cuts out and I can't open the phone calls. I'm very disappointed with the service and the phone. How about a new phone or a refund of the phone I now have?

I tried to get set up as a change from Sprint. I tried to keep my old phone number. The setup got so fouled up I eventually gave up. I had a second chip sent and it came OK but when I tried it I had to do something in addition (I forget what) and I could not accomplish it. I finally gave up and went to AT&T and set up a new account with a new phone number. I have asked that my PURETALK account be cancelled and that should be done. I haven't been able to send or receive photos via text message since I got Pure Talk. Other than that, I can call, text, and email ok, but service is definitely spotty. I hope pure talk will address the photo issue and then I'll be pretty content.

Signed up for PureTalkUSA few months ago and very VERY happy with the service and the price. The cost is 1/3 of what I was paying with AT&T and since it runs on AT&T backbone - the service is just as bad. Should have done this years ago. The internet speeds are just as good (or as bad) depending where you are at. Great customer service, easy set up.

You claim to have the same service as AT&T, but that is not true. I get a good signal and service at my vacation home using AT&T, but have no service using your phone service. If you are using AT&T's network, please explain why I get no signal in this instance. Also noticed driving across Wyoming that I lost service while I still had a AT&T signal on my other phone.

I appreciate the low bill ($25 instead of $55, with more data too), but I would be more satisfied had your ads warned of a decrease in signal quality and download speed. Anyone I talk to over the phone complains of having trouble understanding me, and I them. Five bars of “4G LTE” now means that most pages take 3 or 4 times as long to load, and many never load. The little “loading” circle just spins indefinitely. 4G LTE is now like prehistoric 2G networks. Planned obsolescence.

My experience with PureTalkUSA has been flawless from initial inquiry contact to account activation and tech support to troubleshoot updating phone and carrier settings. Every person I have dealt with has been professional, knowledgeable, respectful and patient willing to assist me to make sure my needs were met, all questions answered and I was satisfied. Overall I am pleased with Puretalk, but have had one incident when my phone was down to one bar in my house and I lost service for an hour or more. Another time I lost service inside of a large store. It came back when I went outside.

Overall, happy with PureTalkUSA. Would have rated 5 stars instead of 4 but for your recommended messaging app, QKSMS. It proved inadequate when attempting to include GIFs in messages, resulting in a blurred image for both sender and receiver. Head designer, Moez Bhatti, recommended raising compression to 1000, but since the Verizon messaging app, among others available free, worked fine, I deleted QKSMS until "It gets all of its ducks in a row."

I'm constantly restarting my phone in order to make a phone call. 50% of the time I cannot dial out. People also tell me that when they call either nothing happens or it goes straight to voicemail. I have been in touch with technical support many times. They do try to help me but have no solutions.

I subscribed to this service for two reasons: I bought a specialized radio/smartphone that only does GSM modulation, and AMAC members get a nice deal on PureTalk phone service. I have been satisfied with the service and had only one hitch getting started - the sim card I received was set up for phone service but not data, and it took a few weeks to remedy that oversight. When the tech and I sorted that out, a few moments later it worked fine.

We one time we couldn't get our phones to work. Your tech team worked tirelessly all day to fix problems. And then we found out it was AT&T issues in area. Nowhere in the plan does it speak to cross border voice calling. When in the US but close to the Canada border the phone tells you this call is not allowed under your plan. I call friends in BC and Ontario and get the same message. I had with the previous plan no problem making these calls, I guess PureTalk wants and added fee, I don't know, can't find any info about it anywhere.

It's seems that your target clients are business not the average person who uses their cell phone more as a computer than an phone so more data at the base levels than talk and text than at where you go unlimited cause at that level then you're not any cheaper than any other providers.

Everything is fine-very happy with my bill! I have plenty of data and I have cut my bill in half since I left ATT. I had a problem at first because I had the sim cards switched around incorrectly, but I called and customer service answered right away, helped me over the phone and didn't make me feel technically challenged. I have recommended Pure Talk to all my friends and family who want better service at a lower price. I will NEVER return to ATT.

I've got a bunch of things happening and going on, My mother got off Pure talk because of issues and problems here on my end. But she felt since you people couldn't get things straighten out, she walked away and quit. She went back to her old company. I will sit back and when I have a moment I too may try to jump to a different carrier. Your customer service people are great, but the people working behind them, terrible to say the least. It's a shame because your commercials LOOK GREAT, too bad it isn't that easy to go to and switch over to.
My wife and I tried to get with Pure talk before my scheduled shoulder surgery (Oct 15 2020) with just buying new phones from Apple we didn't have a carrier, my mother did and she was changing over. Mom lives own Florida we live in PA, she got all three cards for start up, Then mom got two more cards in about 3 days later? Then I finally got my two cards but they didn't work and I didn't have a phone for surgery to call people to come and pick me up. It's OK we got it worked out. BUT THEN ALL KINDS OF ISSUES with billing and goings on. VERY DISAPPOINTED and will be changing since Mom got off and is only spending a little more than what she was being charged being with and on our plan.

Mostly very happy. So far, no noticeable issues or degradation of cell coverage. Only complaint (and not a big one) is the need to dial into voice mail. My last carrier did not require that I do that. One last suggestion for improvement would be to have an app that provided the same functionality and info that the website has. Thank you.

PTUSA is amazing. The switch was a little bit of a struggle, but once we were switched over we love it. We had At&t and they use the same cell towers. We got to keep the same numbers, service and data and we pay almost half the price for it. Super worth it.

We changed over from Straight Talk. Very happy with prices and service/data not bad! Only issue is my texts seem to not show up right away each time. It varies. My husband seems to have that issue with call and text too. Not sure why? Other than that can’t beat the savings and clear service with calls.

I received very quick service... No waiting for minutes on end. When connected to tech support, they were very knowledgeable and were able to assist with detailed settings on my cell phone. Very good job. I've never had that kind of service with the big carriers (I've had service from 3 different ones before settling on Pure Talk).

I’m super happy with Pure Talk however I occasionally don’t get text messages. Mostly it’s in a group text message but other times I will get text message “dump” of several text messages from different people (not group message). Love the monthly rate so I don’t complain.

The price is right and the coverage seems fine, but the voicemail feature is incredibly archaic. It reminds me of the voicemail I had with Verizon 30 years ago. I hate getting voicemails now because it is such a tedious process to retrieve them.

For the most part we are happy with Pure Talk... and that's because where we live we even had trouble sending texts with AT&T... so basically we're getting the same service but with a much less payment!!! And of course that part's great!!!

Tried to buy a iPhone 12 Pro on your site. We just switched to Pure Talk. Couldn’t buy it on the site so we called. Person in the phone couldn’t help us either. Now I guess I’ll have to Spend my $1300 somewhere else.

The Pure Talk bar on our two phones usually is a low-one bar! Possible cause use of the internet which was not on for days until I called and a technician fixed the problem. Thankfully it is staying on now.

Horrible experience! I ported my number to PureTalk because I had AT&T and have TERRIBLE reception. I explained my problem to the rep at PureTalk when I signed up to ensure that I would have BETTER coverage. Once my number was ported I experienced the same problems only to find out that PureTalk uses AT&T’s network. This is something the rep should have explained when I inquired about the service. In addition, I called tech support and asked that a supervisor call me back and never received a call back.

I like that I was able to call and talk to someone on the phone before becoming a customer to ask questions. I also like that I can talk to someone over the phone when needed now that I am a current customer without being a premium member. The price is also a huge blessing! I also like the 90 days period for installing new SIM cards to give people a chance to switch over. I wish that the phone replacement warranty was 1 month or more instead of 14 days because it was difficult to work with Samsung for a defect on my phone when the defect happened on a phone that was just 1 month old but I didn't discover it until after the 14 day window.

We have continued problems with our voicemail. It is cumbersome to get it. When we had Verizon, it was quick and easy. Now we have to dial our own number and then put in a password. We are in our mid-80s so maybe that's the problem. Otherwise, the price is right!!!

I must admit I was a bit skeptical of claims that I could save $70/month over my prior provider, but guess what, that is exactly what I save and I couldn't be happier. Thank you, PureTalk. I love Pure Talk so far. Reception is good & reliable. I do wish that voice messages were "more integrated" into my phone's system. Getting calls from myself, to announce a message is waiting, is annoying & so is having to re-enter my password every time to access the message. Other than that it is a very good value for the money!

There has been quite a few days that texts take a long time to be sent. Not pictures, just plain texts. Even with full bars. Surfing can be slow at times as well, been with the “unlimited” plan. My son is experiencing the same kind of issues.

So far so good. Got number transferred without problems and the cell service has been good inside our home and outside. Customer service as be good also. We are spending half of what we were spending for cell service and we have data on both phone instead of just one phone.

I'm sorry but my experience has been just plain pathetic. I'm using a Samsung Note 8 phone, I just got off with your customer service, the girl complained the phone was going in and out. A Samsung phone is better than what most people are using with your service, Don't waste your breath telling me it's my phone.

With the big "V" as provider, I was lucky to get 6 to 8 Mbps. At least I'm up around 20 to 30 now. Occasional cell issues - minimal - when I'm on the road that I didn't have before. Texts work fine. Doesn't quite make a five. Oh yeah, I live in the boondocks. Closest town(s) are 25 miles. I do live in a town with town with two cell towers. I'm guessing the equipment is hand-me-downs from bigger areas.

I had some trouble getting the old sim card to come out. Took it to a Batteries Plus store and they changed it next day for free. Was totally without phone service for a day. Warned all my relatives by email. iPhone seems to work same as before. Even works in the basement.

Much better reception than I had with Spectrum and as good as Verizon. Customer service is lightyears ahead of Spectrum. The process of setting up was enabled by Pure Talk as Spectrum kept balking. I have the two gig plan but never use that much.
