    I helped 4 family members and I switch over from Cricket. Besides spending probably 20 hours on the phone/fb message with customer service in the first month, our signal is much worse than before, we’ve had problems with data draining too quickly, pictures and messages that won’t load, calls dropped, slow high speed data, and more. I was excited to save some money and use the ATT towers just like Cricket, but with all the problems and complaints from my family, we’re switching back to cricket, a company I never had any issues with. I did a lot of hard work to switch but at this point I’m willing to do more to switch back.

    We are moving the family cellular plans to Pure Talk. AT&T customer service is getting worse and worse. Pure Talk has been very helpful. Transition is virtually seamless. We like the lower cost and seem to have no problems with cell service. We are also getting more data for less money. Really hard to find something to complain about.

    My main gripe with my previous service provider was that I was getting a lot of dropped or non-connecting calls. I haven't had that kind of an experience with PureTalk. I have the same signal strength without the incomplete or disconnected calls. I also don't have another bill to pay. I just pay off my credit card every month (as usual) and my phone bill is covered.

    I love that my new PureTalk service is just like what I had with AT&T as far as coverage. What I really love is the fantastic customer and technical service. I've had to call three times to reconcile MMS sending/receiving problems on three different phones. Every time I call, I get a competent, patient tech person who is just about as kind as they come. I'm saving family $70 per month by switching. Wish I had done this a long time ago.

    I received the PureTalk sim card. I made mistakes installing. I called the operator who said she'd cancel the first phone# and she'd issue a new phone# and sim card and said I'd be credited. I installed the second sim card with the new phone#. The first phone number was not cancelled and I was billed for two lines. I called again and she cancelled the first phone and made out a ticket. I see no credit for the first line. Thank you.

    Couldn't use maps - finally realized we were not receiving any data. Called, was walked through a fix, inputting date so we could connect - that was only a week ago. Have had one issue since where maps still wouldn't connect... took about 8 attempts, after 15 minutes it decided to connect - not sure why. Happened on both my phone - a oneplus 7t and my husband's - a moto G. Phone reception seems to be great, texts come through - so far very well.

    After receiving the SIM cards, I wrote down what SIM card went with which phone. Three phones. Two of the SIM cards and two phones got reversed. Pure Talk says they gave me the correct order and I disagree. I took the blame because it really didn’t matter, I just wanted my phones to work. Since getting the mixup straightened out and several hours with customer service, all three phones are working and working wonderfully. I have not experienced any issues with Pure Talk and its service provider. I’m saving over $100.00 per month for the three phones that I have. I am glad that I looked into Pure Talk after hearing Rush Limbaugh on his radio program talking about it. I would highly recommend anyone who owns their own phone/s to consider switching to Pure Talk. I rarely give overall ratings the highest mark but there is nothing I can think of to not giving them a ☆☆☆☆☆ rating.

    I like Pure Talk and love ATT. I get really good service except if I'm around a lot of people. I have not had that problem with other carriers and I don't like that. If I were to ever change carriers that would be why. I went to Walmart on a Saturday and when I went to checkout I couldn't get online because there were so many people. Because I couldn't get online I couldn't use my Walmart pay and I lost getting $4.90. If I had an emergency that would not be good. I love you being in the USA and so far everyone has been really nice. Some helpful some not so much. They couldn't give me answers to my questions. I would give a 5 star rating except that when there are a lot of people around the customers who have true ATT get online before Puretalk customers which means you may not be able to get online. But if you're not around crowds a lot and I'm not then Puretalk is great.

    I received an email that my credit card had been charged. Using that email I went right to my account. I wanted to see how much data our two phones have been using. But I saw that I owed the monthly charge. I thought, oh, I thought it was auto pay. But since it still displayed, I paid it. Later I checked my Credit Card, it had been charged it monthly fee and the manual fee. The website is not all the user friendly for finding information and understanding payment.

    I have talked to numerous people in your tech support. All very nice, but my problem still persists. I cannot get any data without WiFi. I even bought another phone thinking it might be the problem. Then I purchased a new chip, but it was no help. My wife has the same exact phone and has no problem. Each time I talk to a rep and do the things they ask, eventually the call is lost. I've asked them to call me back if this happens, but they haven't. Then I have called back and have to start the whole process over with a new tech. This is very frustrating. I would like for someone to take this problem on and stay on it till the problem is solved.

    I need to know if Pure Talk provides a way to send MMS message to my phone. For example, with AT&T, you send to phone#@mms.att.net. When I finally got someone to pick up my call, they didn't know the answer, so they transferred me to tech support. The person that picked up in tech support also didn't know, put me on hold, and I just got dumped back into the original support call queue.

    The trade in group you work with, Phobio, processed my trade in of a Google Pixel 3 without me signing off on it. Upon receiving it, they went in and re-activated my personal information on the phone. Then they sold it. I know they did this because Google reached out to me and told me this.     Your phone service is spotty at best. Constant dropped calls or failed attempts. Your service reps are rude and don’t know anything about how your company works.     This is the first review I have ever written, that's how bad it is. I was excited to leave Sprint/T-mobile for a US based company. I had heard some good things about it and read some good reviews. But it has been a terrible experience. After we ported everything over me or my wife's phones do not have any internet access unless we're on wifi. We can't receive or send pictures, or send group messages. I have had several people tell me they tried to get a hold of me but were not able to. We left Sprint because customer service was not great and we were paying almost double, but no amount of money is worth having to wait an hour to talk to someone only to be rerouted to "technical support" only to wait another 30 minutes, all for them not to be able to fix the problem.

    After switching over I was successfully able to migrate from Sprint using an old Samsung S8 for me and my wife. We each have the same model. After consulting with tech support and using the network settings given we cannot receive or send mms messages while on a wifi connection. Whether pictures or a group text. We have to turn off the WiFi to then make the data only push through. I guess when they were on sprint there was an automatic switch that facilitated this function. It would be nice to use a common phone feature without this problem.

    We switched from Verizon to Pure Talk in December 2020 and over the past couple of months our service has been great! Network shows have seemed to be comparable to what we were used to and we've only found new areas where we get signal now but didn't before, none where we don't get signal.     I was very excited about switching to Pure Talk for all the advertised reasons. The phone works, the internet works and basic texting works; however, MMS texting does not. I've patiently worked/talked with several customer service reps to resolve this problem. Only 1 of them was somewhat helpful, but then they just gave up, said they'd report this to technical support, but no one ever got back to me and this issue remains unresolved. This is both frustrating -- because I expected more and discouraging -- because I was really looking forward to be a Pure Talk customer.

    Now, I'm left with the only option to switch to a different provider who which will not have this problem -- I.e. MMS doesn't work; I've never had this issue, ever, with several other companies. I'll wait to see if this written explanation leads to someone contacting me and fixing this problem -- which is what I want. But if not, then I'll have to switch to another company. I'm sure there must be someone within your technical support who can solve this, but so far, no one has.

    This is my honest, heartfelt review on my experience with a wireless service provider named PureTalk USA. They are a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MNVO) providing prepaid wireless service to customers anywhere in the United States. Their website can be reached by going to https://www.puretalkusa.com.

    I am a disabled (service connected) United States Army veteran on a very fixed income. I am proud to have honorably served our great country in uniform and would do it again if the call came. Having spent nearly 15 years in telecommunications, one of the things I strive for is to find the best wireless service provider that meets some very basic requirements. Here are those requirements I have when searching for a wireless service provider:

    1.) U.S. based customer service. Unlike AT&T, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Verizon and all Mobile Virtual Network Operators under the Tracfone umbrella, PureTalk USA earns a mark on the board because their customer service is 100% based in the United States of America and I do not have to press 1 for English! I am a firm believer if you are going to be giving your personal information to a company for a service to be rendered, my information is safer by keeping it in the same country I reside. Giving things such as address, telephone number, credit card number or a social security number to a foreigner sitting at home with chickens squawking or dogs barking in the background is NOT what I would define as being trustworthy, let alone honest. For those wanting to keep it within our borders, PureTalk USA fulfills that requirement graciously. Everyone speaks English and it’s even with a little southern twang! (grin)

    2.) Reliable coverage. I am one who travels a lot for various reasons. One of the things that bothers me more than anything is not being able to use my telephone when I need it most. I am very particular about testing a provider’s service in areas most people don’t venture. Having been in nearly every corner of this great country of ours with PureTalk USA service, their reliability is equal to being a postpaid subscriber of AT&T. Not to mention, they also support Voice over LTE (i.e. VoLTE), commonly referred to as HD calling. It does wonders in clearing up audio during a phone call. PureTalk USA service has not dropped a call and it works in rural America. You can’t beat that with a stick.

    3.) Mobile hotspot and USB tethering. Let’s face it. Most people these days are constantly on the go. We live based on our ability to stay connected while traveling and some of us rely on that connectivity for lots of reasons. One of the things that had turned me away from PureTalk USA before was my ability to actually use the data I paid for in the form of a hotspot.

    As of this writing, their service supports wireless and USB tethering on iPhones. For those who are Android users, this isn’t something you want to hear but I give my personal assurance it is being worked on. Being a person that uses both iOS and Android daily, I can tell you that investing in an iPhone for the sake of having full network functionality is a small sacrifice, considering the long term value. Another caveat of PureTalk USA is the ability to use their service over Wi-Fi anywhere in North America. It does work well, provided you have an iPhone to do it. The service does need to be enabled by customer service and it doesn’t cost anything.

    4.) Price for service. For some, this would be at the top of their review. For me, I put it close to the bottom. To consider using a service, I want to be 100% sure the three previous requirements are met to my personal satisfaction before giving a stamp of approval. My financial investment is ultimately important being on a fixed income. To ensure my investment is being used wisely, I want to thoroughly try it before making a long term commitment. That is not too much to ask. When it comes to the price for PureTalk USA service, it is safe to say that I am saving nearly $30 per month to have the same features that are being offered by the major wireless service providers. To be specific, most all wireless service providers offer a discount to active duty military or veterans.

    With GCI in Alaska I was paying $63 per month to have unlimited talk, unlimited text and 15GB of mobile hotspot data. With AT&T I was paying $63.25 per month to have unlimited talk, unlimited text and 20GB of mobile hotspot data. With T-Mobile I was paying $70 per month to have unlimited talk, unlimited text and 30GB of mobile hotspot data. They fail to tell you upfront that if you are roaming domestically on an AT&T, GCI or U.S. Cellular tower, you will be limited to 5GB of high speed data for the entire billing cycle. Pretty sad when you have to call your wireless service provider and tell them you are switching because a disabled veteran was counting on their service to speak to their doctor over video at the VA hospital.

    The plan that I am subscribed to with PureTalk USA costs me $48.54 per month and it gives me unlimited talk, unlimited text and 30GB of high speed data, hotspot capable. Mind you, as mentioned before, an iPhone is required to use the hotspot. Best of all, I am not limited to using it in certain parts of our great country! As long as I have coverage, the sky is the limit! I must mention that PureTalk USA does offer a 15% discount for active duty military and honorably discharged veterans.

    My closing remarks are as follows: PureTalk USA is owned by a brother who has taken an oath to protect and uphold the United States Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic through honorable military service. PureTalk USA is owned by a brother who stands for our flag, stands for our founding principles and works tirelessly to provide a service to those who appreciate keeping their financial investment within the borders of our great country. I encourage you to understand that others have complained about their customer service being subpar. I would inform you those who have complained are of the mindset seeking instant gratification.

    When dealing with PureTalk USA, you must understand that everything is shipped from their facility in Georgia. They have no storefronts. As with all things, it takes time. Further, they are always training new customer service representatives. If you ask a question and don’t get a satisfactory answer immediately, I promise you will definitely get one soon enough. If you are willing to exercise patience, humility and be willing to support a 100% American owned and based wireless service provider, then everything you have read up to this point should come together and make sense.

    My experience dealing with PureTalk USA in getting my wireless number ported over was definitely challenging, but after several phone calls with some incredibly dedicated individuals it has all been sorted out. My previous wireless service provider doesn’t do anything automatically and it was an act of humility to get the right information submitted in the initial port request just to make all of this happen. Their customer service representatives will take care of you. They enjoy going above and beyond the call of duty to help someone better their life just a little bit. I can sense that in my dealings with them. They are focused on quality, not quantity.

    I promise you this. I personally stand behind this company to the point where I would be honored to work beside them and assist in providing quality customer service because their core values represent the moral fiber that started our country. If you love America and appreciate having customer service that speaks the English language, look no further. PureTalk USA is it!

    After a short 5-month relationship with Pure TalkUSA, I left and went to Xfinity. Why? Because Pure TalkUSA bounced me off my home wi-fi and put me over my data allotment. I did not leave my home from February 3 to February 23. My data renewed on the 8th of each month. Within one week, I had gone over my data allotment all the way up to 3.08G while never having left my house. In looking at the usage graphs on my cell phone, both showed I was on wi-fi AND mobile data at the SAME time!!

    So, my thoughts are...Pure TalkUSA does this on purpose to convince people they need to buy into higher data usage packages for more money. Slick trick. But, I will not send my hard-earned dollars to a corrupt company and will not be part of corruption.     Since switching from ATT we have had nothing but problems. We can not send or receive MMS or group texts and also the promised 30gig of hot spot is really 0 because it hasn't worked since the plan started. I have to wait 59 days to port my numbers back to att so I don't have a choice but to wait. I hope that on 3/8 I can get a refund for the whole month of March and not be penalized for having to wait to port my numbers. I am a real estate professional and don't have the option to change my number to port back and also need hotspot in order to handle any day to day transactions for which has suffered because PureTalk can't seem to fix something the offered at the get go...hotspot being the most import.

    I have had Pure Talk for two months and I have called for assistance on an average of maybe every day! Either I don't have internet, I'm offline or I can't make phone calls. This happens only when I leave my home! Tech support works with me but it hasn't been completely resolved. Yesterday, 2 miles from my house, I couldn't make phone calls but had internet! Then I get put on hold and have waited up to 45 minutes--I hung up! Or else I get dropped! With Pure Talk I am saving $60.00 or so a month. If Pure Talk can not get my service working well consistently, I will have to find a different service provider. Because of these constant problems I cannot recommend Pure Talk to others--unless you fix my problems for good! Also, please change your waiting time music to something more enjoyable. Thank you.

    I switched over from T mobile this last December. I was with them for over 19 years. Over the last year or so I have talked to several others with T mobile that paid less than I did. I had upgraded my phone around 18 months ago and when doing so asked if I had the best priced plan available to me. They assured me I did. I heard about your service listing to Mark Levin. I respect him and his opinions. And therefore his recommendations. I don't like change. But becoming aware of former cell carriers business practices, and a push from Mark I'm so far glad I made the change. Price is less and coverage in my stomping grounds are as good if not better. Haven't been out of town/state yet to see if there is a difference. But feel confident it will be as good if not better.     Just maybe if anyone that may be a supervisor at Pure Talk reads this review, I might get my cell phone that I ordered on 2/11/2021 in the amount of $1,100.00+ taxes. They claim shipment by FedEx in 2 days. They will notify you by E-mail with a tracking #. Today is the 5th day and NO nothing in the way of any E-mails. The lady who took the order said, I would have my phone on Monday. After seeing no E-mails I called on 2/13. Put on hold for 5 minutes while another lady reviewed my account, then I get disconnected. The next lady I talked to, said the lady taking the order misspelled Comcast. She would update my file and she too said, I would receive the phone on Monday, the 15th. Come Monday evening I made phone call #4. She took the information I gave the other ladies and said, the order is pending but could see no reason why it had not been shipped but would check into today.

    No communication in any business is a major problem. You would think that whoever sent the E-mail would be notified within seconds that there was a problem. Then if anyone gave a hoot would pickup the phone to call the customer. The other problem I detected is most of these customer service specialists are working from home. Perhaps some are distracted or just going through the motion without putting in much effort. Another problem is that you can not reach anyone at Pure Talk by E-mail and it's almost impossible to talk to someone beyond who might pick up your call. I will give Pure Talk till, Friday the 19th, to get me my cell phone or I will call Visa and cancel the $1.321.20 that they authorized!

    First of all, every time I call, I am on hold for at least 45 minutes to an hour. Second, it's a hit and miss if the rep knows what they are doing, it's also a hit and miss if the person is nice or rude, so far I have experienced both, but mostly not know what they are doing, so I usually have to hang up and call again and wait another hour and pray that I get someone who knows what they are doing and is also nice.

    I noticed the voicemail is old school and requires calling the voicemail and remembering the 6 digit pin which I can never remember. Also a syncing issue with the Apple Watch and the phone itself. I know it’s Bluetooth but since the switch from Verizon it doesn’t want to sync all the time. No app to see usage rate.     When I do NOT have to call my phone co. to "complain", or "grumble" silently 'cause this phone lacks capabilities, all is WELL! :) I do NOT have to run to store to buy another card.
