    We received the sim cards in a timely manner and were able to install after some issues porting our numbers from the previous carrier. After a few days we discovered that we weren't able to access the internet, so I placed a call to tech support and was given settings to enter for the APN. This did allow us to connect to the internet. Then I noticed that I could no longer send MMS messages, so I placed another call to find out how to remedy that. The solution was to reset all of the settings, WIFI, APN, everything and reboot to start new. It was all a pain in the butt, but we seem to be working ok now. Tech support was very friendly and helpful, I just wish that all of this had been addressed when we first switched over, since I'm sure those are common issues. There is no documentation on your site to cover those issues or to even try to detect what the problem is.

    We had to buy a new phone with a sim card and set up our voice mail box. The attendant helped me do that. I also verified my address as we closed our P. O. Box. All my contacts with Pure Talk have been informative and helpful.

    It took forever for our daughter to help get phone working better. I can now receive group text and pictures but I can't respond to a group text. I can't send pictures either. My husband still can't receive group text or pictures. Can't send either as well. Frustrating.

    I'm mostly happy with Pure Talk, but my husband works in places that there's no service & has to drive several miles into town to get service. We had it there with Verizon. We just learned that it uses AT&T towers. I was under the impression that it used Verizon, which we've had for many, many years. He's threatening to go back to Verizon because it's so inconvenient for him. Is there any chance that things will change, as AT&T just isn't good in this area?

    I have tried to place a call and have received the message that service was not available in my area. I have been in the boundaries of a major metropolitan area. With my previous provider I always had service in this city area. After a second or third attempt I received service. I have also had several texts that I sent not received by the person I needed to contact. Later in the day they received my text but it was too late for them to participate in the activity that they were invited to because the activity was ended before they received the text. This is concerning.

    When making a call, it sometimes two or three tries to get the call to go through. I will punch the number in or tap the number from recent calls or from my contact list. Then tap on the green circle to call, and nothing happens....dead air, no ring, nothing. I hang up and call again and usually it will go through that time.

    I have called in several times that I have terrible connection to the AT&T towers. I get less than half the phone calls that try to reach me and I often either wait for 15+ seconds for a connection or the call just drops dead. If there were an emergency I doubt I'd be able to reach my daughter 4 miles away. I will most probably be canceling on Monday.

    I use landline service at home and only use my cell phone when I am away from the house. For years I had an inexpensive plan from T-Mobile with no data. I had spotty service at home and nearby. (I'm live in a valley surrounded by mountains.) I decided to try Pure Talk through AMAC because I could get a low-use inexpensive plan WITH data.

    The service is better than I expected. I get strong cell phone signals and the data plan has encouraged me to use data often as I no longer have to connect to WiFi to go on the internet. Pure Talk service is all that the advertisements and endorsers claimed. I have recommended it to others and have encouraged several to ditch their more expensive plans for Pure Talk.

    I cannot get or make a call inside my home. I have to do out to the deck or driveway in order to talk. Text seems to work fine since I installed a new wi fi system. I cannot receive or send a call from my business outside of my home closer to the center of town. I call CS and wait for 45-60-minutes. Gave up calling CS. I had AT&T for years, and a lot of the time they sucked, but they never sucked this bad. Hannity, Rush (show) etc should all be ashamed for recommending. I will not listen to ANY of their recommendations going forward. I actually plan to call and get on their show live and let them know what going on. So disappointed. Yeah, I save a few bucks but got ** service. NOPE. Would not recommend PURE TALK to anyone.

    When our phones provisioned 5 of them, it did not automatically add the Puretalk access point. So we had to call support and walk through a couple dozen settings to set up. This was a huge hassle and caused problems with our initial use of the network.

    Reception is poor. Most time when I leave home the signal drops, this area is dominantly AT&T towers. I don't receive very many calls so I don't know when calls are not received except a friend has said the has tried to call repeatedly and they will not go through. My voicemail constantly drops.

    The actual service to the phone is good; however, the customer service is less than desirable and is in fact absolutely terrible. The shortest wait time I have experienced was 40 minutes before a representative even answered the phone. My time is too valuable to have to wait that long for help. Simply, your wait times are unacceptable. Some questions could possibly be answered via email, but there is no email available, and if it becomes available a prompt reply would be greatly appreciated. One thing further are the service representatives; they are occasionally quite unfriendly which is not ideal after 40+ minutes of waiting. Your services would be near perfect if these issues could be addressed and remedied. Thank you.

If you like wasting your money, keep paying big cellular their outrageous rates. If you want to spend your cash on your family, fun, vehicles, pets or anything other than big cellular switch over the PureTalk. The same service for less!

    My only problem with the Pure Talk service is that, when I run out of GB, I can't get internet and that happens at the end of the month cycle. Is there a remedy for that? Please let me know if there is a extra charge for more GB.

    Reception in rural areas fair at best, speed of internet when throttled is abhorrent. Phone doesn't like to switch between networks well (wifi to mobile network). I wish I never switched, the cost savings is negligible compared to the reduced quality of service.

    The service is not nearly as good. The price per month is more than when I had unlimited data. I lose many calls where I never used to lose calls. And I am locked into a 2 year “contract” unless I pay $250. Would not recommend to anyone.

    We are not happy with the service or the operation. First off it does not work in Mexico which was a problem when we were there. It also is slow in dial-up and also internet connections. We also do not care for the very long waits on the customer service line. It is way too long.

    Lack of coverage. It was better with ATT. Too many "emergency calls only" and no network coverage. Very poor reception in the house. Have to go outside to get better reception. Maybe your network is not strong enough for our area. The wife has Verizon and she has no trouble at all.

    My family has 3 Samsung phones. I have the S8+, my wife has the S8+ Note, and my daughter has an S7. When we are in the home we have WiFi turned on and use WiFi calling due to the spotty coverage. Phone calls work great but messaging is a nightmare. All I receive are communications from friends and family that say "No Subject, Message size, and Message expiration date".     My main disappointment has to do with coverage & signal strength. Based on the extent of advertising, this service uses the same towers as Verizon (found out later it’s actually AT&T). However, the coverage is noticeably weaker & slower almost everywhere! When texting before switching things sent & were received almost instantaneously. Now there is a big delay most of the time - sometimes not sending at all. When indoors shopping when signals were weak but useable before, not there’s almost no service. The cost is cheaper, but I feel like I was misled overall.

    Your marketing ads/materials made it seem that switching to Pure TalkUSA would be a simple process and it was anything but simple. After activating service on our existing phones, we did not have phone or internet service outside our home - even on our patio, the signal was weak, calls dropped constantly and we couldn't send photos/videos. Each of these issues required multiple customer service calls. CS answered immediately, but could not provide any assistance & transferred us to tech support. Wait time for each of 7 calls was 35-45 minutes, which is simply unacceptable. Several of those calls dropped - I lost my place in queue and had to start over!

    We received incorrect info re: changing internal settings and had to call back and go through that lengthy process again for both phones. This was the worst and most frustrating customer service experience I have ever had. I came very close to canceling our service. Once the issues were finally resolved, service has been acceptable, but this experience negatively impacted my impression of PureTalk and I have little confidence in your company. I definitely would not recommend PureTalk to others, unless it was someone I don't like!

    Call quality is poor in many areas. I switched from Verizon expecting the same call quality and so far I’m disappointed. Many times I have to have the person I’m talking to repeat themselves because the volume goes up and down during my calls. Also many more calls get dropped than before. Also one big thing is the weak signal won’t allow me to access the internet in many areas when people I’m with can get right on. Please work on these issues!     High Speed Data Plan is actually a Low Speed/Unavailable Plan. There are lots of times where there is no response. Also, my Ring doorbell alerts do not alert me nearly as soon as when I was with AT&T, and my text messages come in sometimes after much delay.     It will allow me to download an image onto my gallery, but then it will not allow uploading the image onto a text or email. It did with my previous carrier. There was some echoing on the other end of a phone conversation, but that appears to have stopped. Some files have been unable to be opened. Some require a Pin. How do I put in a Pin? Texts sometimes repeat 2 or 3 times after I send just once. Texts are not showing "Read" after recipients have read the text. When I dial 611 the message says it is going to AT&T. Otherwise, I am pleased. Also, I believe some of these issues have corrected themselves as the people I text have not mentioned, recently, about double and triple of the same text coming through or the echoing during a phone call.

    When I signed up for Pure Talk I was told that the day I activated my account would be the date of debiting my banking account for payment, 02/17/21 was start date. On or about mid March in mid call my account was suspended and call dropped. This was restarted the next day with an apology. Now, again in April 11, 9:26 pM again in mid phone call with my Pastor call was dropped and another message about payment. I sent an email to Info@puretalkusa.com and got a response 04/12 at around 3:39 pm with no explanation of what is going on with my account.

    I pursued calling PureTalk customer service was given no real reason for this ongoing problem. I requested to speak with a Supv. was put on hold and was told that a glitch caused call to be dropped and that NEXT time just dial 611 and they will cut service back on. I informed CSR that I am NOT expecting to have to have my service cut back on!!! Seriously, this is NOT the carrier service I was hoping to get when recommended by a personal friend who has never had a problem with PureTalk. Three times and you're OUT!!! So please, take care of YOUR GLITCHES!!! Not my problem, as your CUSTOMER.

    I had service in the Grand Canyon with my old service (**). When in this hard times with Covid-19 I really need to eat, pay my rent and have some money to save for emergency is not helping at all. I am very dissatisfied and will be changing provider soon.     I have repeatedly attempted to resolve the issue of my phone number stating that it is suspended when people call me and I cannot make a call ever since I switch the Sim card on February 14. It is not locked. I have resolved every issue with AT&T and it still does not work. I’ve had to load an external app and pay extra money just to be able to make business calls from my phone.     I’ve had a horrible experience so far with Pure Talk. I receive texts hours and sometimes days after they’ve been sent to me. And I’ll have someone try to call me multiple times and my phone won’t ring until the 7th or 8th time. I’m extremely disappointed that I have to stay with pure talk until the 24 months are over (due to purchasing a phone though you during a sale, as I can’t afford the rest of the cost of the phone to cancel).     Previously, I had Pure Talk service for my flip phone and was very satisfied with all aspects. Then I dropped the phone in water, and it stopped working. I decided to stop resisting and buy a smartphone. I had just purchased my new smartphone when I signed up for Pure Talk again. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to figure out how to operate the smartphone, and in the process of trying, the phone stopped working completely. It will not power up. I've continued to pay for the service, but do not have a working phone.     I like that Dave Ramsey and Ben Shapiro recommended Puretalk. I did my research and looked like it would be a good change for me from AT&T. Initial change was positive and I was actually keeping calls that I had previously dropped in certain areas around town. But within a week, I had issues trying to get text messages and use my data (Google search, Google maps, FB, other apps requiring data). I had numerous calls to customer service over the next 3 weeks, with wait times being 40 min or less (which didn't seem bad comparatively.) Staff was friendly, easily understood and took me through steps to assess my issues each time.

    On my final call, they determined the problem was with my new iPhone 12 Mini and they recommended I call Apple (which I did & ended up having it sent in to Apple without any issues noted.) During that time, I used my old iPhone 7 Plus, with which I have never had issues. Using the iPhone 7 Plus, I continued to have data/text issues every 2-3 days and had to keep resetting my network settings, which would then allow the phone to get data/text again. Personally, I feel that being in WA, an area that is not familiar with Puretalk, is the issue. Don't ask me why because I'm not that technical, but I just don't think Puretalk is as effective in this area of the country. Thus, I have started looking into another alternative.

    Because of this, I have paid off my iPhone 12 Mini (that I bought through Puretalk & received a discount on the phone for a 2-year contract. Thus, I had to pay off the subsidized portion.) Weird, but since I paid off the subsidized portion of the phone, 5 days ago, I haven't had to reset the network settings on my phone to be consistent with data/text. Coincidence? I don't know anymore. I have another 2.5 weeks left on my paid month. I will continue to see what happens before I switch to another provider. Again, I'm not unhappy, I'm just unhappy that it didn't seem to be reliable for where I live. I can't wait 15 hours to receive text messages or get into our wifi network before I receive service. That's not what I'm paying for.

    I didn't want to support bigger companies that support causes that I'm not wanting to support, however switching to Pure Talk has not been what I expected. First of all, your services are still AT&T which maybe there is no way around that. The second thing is that accessing my voicemail is a pain. You require a minimum 7 digit passcode. Some of your services lack. And when I first signed up and didn't know how to read my data usage so I purchased more, your Customer Service rep told me that I wasn't almost out of data after all, but my upgrade of data was not refundable.     Service (lte) is great during the day. Every day after 9-930pm, at the same location (home address) we lose all data service.     We changed to Pure Talk to save money after reading about them in AMAC magazine and hearing about them on the Rush Limbaugh show. The article in the magazine said they use the same towers as AT&T who we have been using for years. The savings were exceptional, and since the article said we would have the same coverage we had with AT&T, we figured we would save money. But so far, we have been thoroughly disappointed in the service. We struggled to even be able to make phone calls.

    We called, and they signed us up for Wi-Fi calling, something we didn't know we needed. And that problem got better. But we are hardly able to use our data if we are not at home and connected to the internet. Where I used to check email and look up things on the internet while in the car or waiting in the doctor's office, now I am not able to open any emails or google anything if I'm not at home. I have been considering calling to complain, but have put it off, mostly because when I called a few times early on, the customer service reps were not very friendly and not very helpful. I'm not sure how much longer I will stay with Pure Talk if things don't get better.

    I was issued a new card so when the EFT was sent it was refused because the date and code were different. I got a text notification while I was grocery shopping and stopped in the middle of the aisle to call my bank about it. They checked and said it was because the new card was issued and I would have to call you and give you the updated information. I did so immediately while grocery shopping. After doing so, I was told you were going to charge me an extra $5! I spent a good 30-40 minutes while trying to shop to make sure you would get my payment without delay and your response was to charge me another $5. I told your agent I could easily change providers if that is how you treat new customers. She talked with someone else and then said she could manage getting the payment through without the extra charge. Why? Why?

    The phone service is as good as my old AT&T, however the three times I needed customer service I had to wait over two hours on hold each time. Regarding the hold, the music was extremely obnoxious as it looped over and over. First you need to add more people so the hold isn't so long. Secondly I suggest that you attach the hold to a radio station or if you want to go first class offer a couple of options for the holding music like a Sirius XM offering a choice of oldies or the Love channel etc.

    My primary issue is with the phone I was sold. There was no detailed manual included with it, and the one I downloaded on the internet is vague. It takes hours to charge my phone.     The service was great with deliveries, did have a problem with settings for sms but had great support people to help and finally got it figured out for a Pixel phone.     Before switching to Pure Talk I asked about the compatibility of our two existing phones and was told they were both good and would work on Pure Talk. When trying to complete the switch and install the new sim cards we discovered that one of our phones (an AUS009) would not work and I had to purchase a new phone. I bought a S21. Then I later learned I could have purchased that phone through ** for $100 less. The reply I got was I could return my phone for a refund. I'm now have put this experience aside, but still have a sour taste in my mouth.

    After hearing about Pure Talk on various conservative talk shows I had to wait for our contract with AT&T to expire so that we could switch over. There were a few hiccups to switch over the three phones however that seems to have been resolved and I have no issues regarding this service.     Before I switched plans, I had a discussion with the Sales rep regarding my experience with the previous cellular service. She assured me that I would not have any of these issues. On my previous month (March 9 to April 9) I saw I exceeded my plan about a week before the end date of my month, but even now, when the cycle is over I see less usage than my 2gb (only 1704.40) recorded. The last week of my plan was pretty painful with the low speed, and I just was surprised it was reached when the numbers do not match.

    I held out as long as I could, but my phone calls were dropping, my texts would come two days after people sent them to me, and I couldn’t send texts. I went to AT&T to switch over and they told me Puretalk ran off 3G AT&T towers which AT&T was getting rid of. I couldn’t port my number back to AT&T so I had to get a new number. Be very careful with smaller carriers. There is a reason they are $30 a month cheaper.

    I work in Rogers Park (north side of Chicago). Outside 1-2 bars. Inside no service-1bar. I get a call. I can hear caller. They can’t hear me. Need to get outside. My old phone with Smart Talk had great coverage since 2017 everywhere except Europe so now I have a new phone more advanced and it's maybe 40 percent effective at work. Therefore the cost savings don’t count for much if my manager can’t hear me when he calls me. I would say I am not satisfied with the service.
