When I first called Pure Talk after hearing the commercial on the radio, I was with Sprint/T-Mobile and paying too much for my service and was looking to upgrade to a 4G phone before January 1, 2022 before losing service due to my Kyocera DuraXTP 3G phone becoming incompatible with the 4G requirement. I did not know much regarding the great offers available online for new iPhones, but talked with a salesperson who directed me to get a SIM card to switch to Pure Talk. That would’ve been a great opportunity to sell me a new iPhone, including a new iPhone SE with 256G. There was a fantastic deal at the time and would’ve been better than the iPhone SE 64G I ended up with.
The SIM card didn’t work, and left me without service with my new PureTalk plan for two weeks. I found out later that I missed many calls and texts during that time. I was on the phone with Customer Service with 10 different people total and nothing could be done. Finally, a customer service representative helped me to purchase the iPhone SE 64G I have now, although no longer at the fantastic price available to new customers, which I no longer was despite having no service during my first two weeks as a Pure Talk customer. I settled with my current phone instead of getting the phone I wanted because it was now out of my price range without the new customer sale.
I chose the “happy” rating because the service is good and the price I pay every month is more than half of what I was paying before, which is fantastic. With a long history and training in sales, I can say that I am disappointed with the salesperson who prompted to sell me a SIM card for a phone that would only work for one more month anyway and not try to sell me on a brand new phone at a great price. That, to me, is a poorly trained salesperson.
Why sell me a temporary solution (that didn’t work anyway) when the obvious long-term solution is right in front of you? I had to buy a new phone anyway, and I did, but no longer at the sale price. And why? Because I had already been a member for two weeks. A member without service or solutions, but a member nonetheless. Missing out on an white iPhone SE 256G for $149 still bothers me.

We needed new phones and didn't want a contract and wanted to save money. Pure Talk did that and they utilize the same morels we use. It was a hard choice. We ended up about half the savings from what we paid in the past using the big carriers; Sprint and Verizon.

Very friendly staff and transparent fee structure. They told me the cost when I signed up and that's exactly what I pay each month! There are no hidden fees or taxes and the signal strength and coverage has been excellent!

I have really bad service anytime. I am not directly connected to wifi. For example, I cannot play music in my vehicle, access social media, or email unless I am connected to wifi. My husband is a pilot with the army and I have an app to track his flights. I cannot access this safety feature unless I am stationary and connected to wifi. I am very disappointed with the service.

I was an AT&T customer prior and loved their service with very few issues at all, but outside of installment plans, we paid $87 monthly. Going to PureTalk did drop that monthly price down to $50, but we also have less signal strength even though y’all piggyback off the same towers and data is quite slow. The areas that showed 5G are now showing 4G on PureTalk. We are basically settling for your service. Just for $38 savings monthly.

Your ads clearly state "use the same carrier, use the same towers", true if you are an AT&T customer or on another provider that uses their towers and network. Those of us who were on Verizon, not compatible. Now we have had to purchase new phones to work on your network. An expense we were not looking for. Also many set up and transfer issues from Tracfone to you, which took weeks to resolve and issues still remain until my new phones arrive..Not a very good experience so far. And signal coverage is not as good. Many times I have to go to outside wall or even outdoors to get a cell signal, again I can only hope the new phones improve this issue...We shall see.

Had a problem with phone service not working. Paid for service we never got to use and they would not reimburse a penny. Canceled the service on phone before the new month payment came out and they still charged us another month! They are also very rude and disrespectful. Absolute horrible customer service. Would not recommend them at all!

Everything is great!, Customer service is awesome. We all use iPhone. Find my friends seems to be a little slow but I don't know why that would have anything to do with the carrier. But regardless. It's everything the ads say it is! If you're on the fence. Jump off and go for it!

I needed to watch my spending carefully with all the inflation going on these days. Xfinity offered me a lower rate at $15 a month plus tax. There was no other reason to with -- absolutely not! Pure Talk provided great service -- I never had an issue to report or resolve, and still the rate was great! It took 3 weeks to switch because Xfinity couldn't get it done right, I had a lot of dropped calls, and every time I had an issue, I could not talk to a real person -- I had to drive to the store, tell my issue to a door greet person and be sent to another person to tell it again and then perhaps get my issue resolved.
Sometimes it took several trips to the store to resolve a single issue. After five months, I'd had enough aggravation and frustration and I am now so happy I came back to Pure Talk! I have even had my friends in Wasilla Alaska leave Verizon and AT&T switch to Pure Talk. They tell me they are saving a LOT of $$. I'm so happy to spread the word about Pure Talk USA.

I didn’t get the phone I wanted. The signal is nothing to brag about either. It also seems like I go through data way faster than when I was with Verizon. I don’t think I will switch my other devices over nor will I recommend.

I love your service except voicemail. In the past I could see who left a voicemail but now I have to call voicemail to find out who called. Is there an option see the voice mails without calling the phone number for voice mails.

We have a tower that is only 1/2 mile away and it is AT&T and we only get one to 2 bars. We live on pike hill road and the tower is on top of our hill on cook hill road is it location or is it not fully operating yet. Otherwise I like your service.

Very helpful in switching over from Sprint. The people were very helpful and courteous during the switch over and set-up, refreshing talking to a real person. Service has been great, not problems, dropped calls. Do recommend to my friends. The cost is way better than the big companies.

My husband has been trying to activate his new Puretalk phone and port his number from previous carrier. No luck. Many days and several hours on Hold. We called today 1/22/22 and “Mina” answered told us us what we needed to do and we accomplished everything to get his phone working. She even merged our accounts! As you can tell, I am not using your service. Promotion was not honored as a new customer citing that I purchased a sim card that did not work with my trac phone disqualified me from the promos when purchasing a new phone. I will honor my 2 yr contract which is more than you were willing to do for me.

Hello; Love the coverage and support, but I also needed a hot spot and that has not gone well. After many hours of several troubleshooting phone calls the most recent person told me that you only supply 10GB of hotspot. I am hoping that is the issue and my cycle will start over on the 23rd of Jan so I will try again. If that is the case I am wondering why the 6 people I talked to first did not know that. If it does not work at the beginning of my cycle I will still keep the phone service, but will know that I need to go elsewhere for hot spot. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks. Cynthia

I am very happy with Pure Talk. They made it easy to switch my service from AT&T to Pure Talk and keep my phone number. They even helped me get AT&T to release my number, which was a monumental task. I love the fact that I can call them and talk to an actual person, who actually helps. I give them a 5 star rating.

Before I signed up, I did call customer service and was given answers to my questions. The conversation from Boost Mobile to Pure Talk went fine on November 22; 2021 with no problems. I was and running without a hitch. I have not had an occasion to call customer service since.

Can’t tell the difference except I cannot call out of the USA. It’s a great way to save each month and unless you have family accounts or out of country I see you know what reason to pay for Verizon or T-Mobile. I only pay half of what I did before.

I was previously with Verizon, the service I have with Pure Talk has been as good or better at a significant price reduction. With Pure Talk I only have to buy what I need, not a bunch of overpriced things I do not use.

I signed up and unable to use and can not get anyone to respond when calling, I have tried several times. Even trying to communicate with you I have to have a certain number of characters or I am unable to send in this review. I would just like to be able to communicate with someone about my issues.

The biggest issue is when sending pictures text. Otherwise the service is great and the cost is phenomenal. This is so much better than Verizon and half the cost! We have not had any issues with this service so far.

I switched from Verizon to save money, and we have nearly cut our monthly payments in half, without any changes in the quality of services! Customer Service has been great the 2 times I had questions (no problems- just questions)! So happy we switched and are saving money! Definitely would recommend!!

I received my phone in Nov. It promptly locked me out, and neither your tech staff nor the 2 experts I consulted here could fix it. Sent back to Nokia for factory reset. They sent it to me via Fed-ex, and they never delivered it. They claim it was "successfully delivered", and signed for by a C. **. Never Heard of this person. I reported it stolen to you, and have no other replies from your company so far. I also asked to cancel my service, since you have been charging me for a service I have never had! I am totally frustrated. Help if you can, Thanks.

I am so happy with Pure Talk I can’t even tell you! I went from paying almost $130.00 a month to $31 a month! It’s great, I haven’t experienced any problems at all! I’ve told all my friends and family how great this service is!

Love Pure Talk USA. Monthly price is great and so is brand new phone. Was able to keep phone number. Reception is better, too. Love that this is owned by a Veteran. Thank you for being there for me! I heard about PureTalk USA on the Sean Hannity radio show on 98.7 FM. I took his advice to switch to PureTalk USA. I save money every month and never receive any junk emails or junk texts from PureTalk USA like I did from my old cell carrier. Yes, I am happy.

I get 3-4 bars of service and if a salesman wanted PureTalk to use on the road but house was in a marginal area he would have to fight to get service.. I wrote PureTalk about the issue denying great service to many people. Dave

Initially I was hesitant. It seemed too good to be true. After some research and talking to a pure talk reorientation, I thought I’d give it a try. It’s everything that’s promised. Good service for a fair price. No surprises. Highly recommend it.

I was not informed specifically that HOTSPOT data was considered the same as my UNLIMITED data. My previous servers had these separate. Plus, there is no App available to use, we must literally go online to view the account and make payments. I am extremely UNSATISFIED with PURETALK USA. We will be canceling this service soon,

We read the glowing AMac review of Puretalk USA. After we decided to move from ATT we were told that Puretalk offered help with getting contacts moved to new phones and that there was intl coverage available. Neither were true.

The man who helped get us activated on our ipad mini was excellent. It would be helpful for your website to include instructions on this topic. Apparently the activate instructions are only android. Sometimes my profile on website shows 0 gb of 6 left. And I refreshed my browser.

I just wish I could still have visual voicemail vs calling in to receive the messages. Calling the mailbox to receive messages feels dated and is challenging to get messages while on the go. Other than that, I haven’t noticed any changes in service. Thanks.

All in all we are happy with Pure Talk as a provider. Our only problem we have had is checking our Voice Mail Account. We are using an I-Phone and have to call in to see if we have voice mails in our account.

I was a AT&T customer for over 10 years before making the switch to Pure Talk and cut my bill by 2/3s. :) My wife's phone is still on contract with AT&T for another month or two and when that has expired I will be adding her. I talked my pops into making the switch from AT&T over to Pure Talk after AT&T charged him for a bunch of data he was supposedly sucking up in the wee hours of the nights. I am happy so far, the switch was easy and I tell my family and friends they should make the switch and save money for the same service you get from the big guys!

Back in September 2021 we changed from your AT&T to your Pure Talk because of two decades of price gouging. Service is definitely worse now. We cannot rely on internet service and that is really bad. Can’t map when/where I need to- data amounts are not correct. I feel like I’ve been suckered and scammed- wasted so much of my precious time with the unprofessional customer ’service’. Who could/should be replaced by bots. Anyhoo- bet you’re sorry ya asked for my opinion!

Not as easy to set up as I expected. Phone features don’t seem to work as they did before switch over. I have to unlock my sim when I reboot. Voicemail for second line requires extra steps. This is on an iPhone XR. Didn’t support rain/dual sim when I switched. I would bus new phone if it would make a difference.

We get the same service for more than half the price we were paying. I’ve recommended Pure Talk to numerous friends and family, but, they choose to continue paying big bucks. The only thing we don’t like is we have to access our voicemail the “old” way with a passcode and we don’t get a transcript of the message…other than that, it’s great!!! Oh…and they don’t support Smartwatches~.

After over a month I still have not had my money returned on the 14-day return policy. I returned the phone in perfect condition within the prescribed time. I am disabled and asked for someone to help me what they needed in addition to what I provided and all I kept hearing was "Your return is in the process".

I've called in several times trying to get my voice mail to work. I can't wait the hours it takes to get through or out doesn't get figured out again. I also get many times when it says my phone isn't registered on the network and can't place a call. I'm about to give up.

This phone freezes, buffers, goes dark, constantly needs to be re started or turned off. Not happy at all with this phone. The $5 I'm saved by switching is not worth this kind of hassle. I would not recommend to anyone.

I signed up with Pure Talk to get out from under ATT. However, due to exceptional poor customer service I am still subject to ATT fees and yours. I bought a new phone through you which doesn’t work that great and to this day my ATT phone number has not been activated in Pure Talk. I ordered 2 SIM cards, one for my existing IPhone X, and one for the new Nokia phone that doesn’t even work right.
When the phone and the SIM cards arrived I attempted to activate my service. Your technician had me install the wrong SIM card in the new phone. I then switched the SIM card and the new phone was activated but it doesn’t function properly. Therefore, the SIM card that was supposed to go into my ATT phone was corrupted and wouldn’t work. So I had to wait for another SIM card. Mind you, I spoke to many customer support personnel and to this day my new SIM card for my IPhone doesn’t work! Now I am paying you and ATT, this is wrong on every level. I want this corrected or I want all of my money back and you can take this ** phone back too.

The website is not user friendly, it is really hard and confusing to add another account. I've been trying for 3 months to bring my wife to Pure Talk but the website is super messy and confusing. It isn't clear if what you selected is correct or not, and there isn't a chat to help and answer questions - I don't want to send an email and wait days to get an answer and then continue what I was trying to do - and this is extremely frustrating. Makes me wanna go back to the previous company that was ** but at least was extremely easy to use, to add/change/remove service, and they have a chat if we needed any help. So I use, because I like the antenna that I always had, but cheaper than ATT. But I do not really recommend, if someone asks I'll tell them the service is fine, but customer service and the system is complete garbage.

It’s been a good decision to switch to Pure Talk, I’m very satisfied with the service; even though it’s a couple of bucks more expensive than the one I had previously, but the good connection makes all the difference. The only downside is that the phone I bought from them didn’t come with the charger (just the cable)… weird. I brought two people on board and their phones didn’t bring it either.

The people make the experience. The product speaks by performance. The people at PureTalk have been great. They worked with me when there was a discrepancy in my order to make the experience great. The service and signal are as good as any of the big carriers and this is speaking from living in a rural area.

I have had several calls that were splotchy and many texts or pics that wouldn't download and open up for some reason. It could be because I've used up my 64 gbyte space. I've tried to manage my storage space but have not quite figured out how to open up more space without paying a monthly fee to do so. Still want to edit my photos/videos and back them up before deleting them and am still in the process of doing this. I'm hoping once I do that, maybe my phone will work better. I bought a TByte chip and inserted it into my phone to make more space but don't know how to transfer my data over onto it yet.??? So my trial with Pure Talk is not yet determined. We'll see...

I bought 2 phones from Pure Talk. Both are having issues that keep me from actually use them. I have been given the run around from customer service and the warranty people for both Nokia and Samsung, with no actual resolution to either phone issue. I have spent hours on the phone with customer service and the 2 times it seemed as though I would actually get the help I needed I had to call back or I got disconnected. AND there is a loop in the customer service system that when I've been transferred to the tech department, instead of getting the tech department, I am sent back to the beginning recording.
When I have tried to get the same representative that was sort of helping me the call got disconnected and after waiting I was looped back to the beginning recording AND when I asked to have the representative call me when he had a chance, I did not receive a call. I am still trying to get 2 phones that I paid for to work, but neither PureTalk who I purchased the phones from or the Nokia and Samsung companies have been helpful in allowing me to actually use my warranties. I didn't even receive a digital receipt when I paid for these phones so I can't even take the Samsung phone in to get it diagnosed.
I wanted to like PureTalk because you're American owned and Dennis Prager vouched for you, but I have been a customer since the beginning of November 2021 and neither of my 2 phones have worked, and because I missed the 14 day phone window, which is different than the try service for 30 days window, I'm being treated like my business with this company doesn't matter. And I am really disappointed that it has taken me this long and countless hours spent with customer service to still have 2 phones that don't work well enough to actually use the service I am paying for. So Disappointed!

My experience with Pure Talk has been recent but very good. I had trouble setting my Access Point and had to call customer service. My wait for a representative was very short and the lady was very patient and extremely helpful. She spoke very clearly. Was easy to understand.

My phone doesn't hold any data. I have to keep using wifi, which is not secure. I have called a few times to get it taken care of, but the problem is never resolved. I was sent instructions on how to had the information to my phone, but that didn't work.

The service is terrible here where I live as well as where I work (in Washington, Utah) even though we researched before switching. I'm saving a bunch of money but I guess you get what you pay for. All of the hundreds of numbers I had blocked are not unblocked because Pure Talk doesn't support blocking numbers. I can hardly get my phone to work and I can't understand anything anyone is saying when I speak over the phone. We will be switching companies because I need a phone that works. Hopefully someday you will get better and work out the bugs and maybe we will come back.

Asked to rate my experience with PureTalk. Well…it’s just ok…service is not over the top. Coverage is normally 2 bars which is average with any company I’ve been with. We live higher than the cell signals that run horizontal and do not rise. So the price is good for the poor service we get.

I have teenagers and they think that their data is so strong and I refuse to pay additional money to increase our data. My daughter on her phone has increased the data and she’s paying $20 extra month but I’m not paying nothing if my other teenager wants faster data.

I drive professionally so I travel a wide area. Coverage and service are exceptional. Cost is less than last carrier and I have 2 lines for phone and iPad. Also my money no longer goes to “causes” that I do not support like Planned Parenthood. Also you advertise on my radio shows on Fox news radio.

We've been struggling with cell phone coverage at our house for more than a year using T-Mobile and Metro PCS. After switching to PureTalk we have no reception problems anywhere we have gone. It is such a pleasure to be able to sit in my living room and answer phone calls. That was impossible before moving to PureTalk. I'd have to try to find a spot with reception upstairs or go outside down the street. Switching services was not difficult. We got a good deal on the Samsung phones too. We're very pleased to be with PureTalk.

I have spent 7 hours, most of them in hold, begging for assistance to no avail. I spent 2 hours on hold today and then was disconnected as the representative tried to locate someone to help me. I have done my best and feel I have no alternative but to file a BBB complaint. Maybe you will help me then.

When I got your service starting 11/6/2021 I didn't have any trouble for a couple of weeks then the phone started glitching and when watching a video the phone will glitch and reset the video, I got the IMEI # reset and no progress reset APN settings, no progress. Finally got a new Sims chip and after installing the new Sims chip the glitching stopped for about a week and started all over again. Then I called tech support and they couldn't resolve the problem so I went back to AT&T and have no problem with the phone. I had just paid for a month's service on the 6th of January then I called customer service. I was told that I will not receive any of my money back which is not good business.

I needed a new phone to comply with the 2022 standard but was unable to buy one from you, because I don't hand out photocopies of my license for hackers to steal. No one else has that requirement to get a phone, so I easily was able to get one, elsewhere.

I'm happy with the reduced price over my previous carrier, but I have had to sacrifice a few things that I didn't expect. Most notably mobile hotspot support is lacking. Wi-fi calling doesn't seem to work either, and 3-way features also appear non-supported. Switching is a pain, so I'll stick around for now hoping to see some feature improvement, as this switch has lead to a reduction in overall service/capability.

I switched over to PureTalk from ** because of the savings. I enjoyed the service ** offered and I had them for a long time. But when I ran out of data they automatically bumped me up to the next plan. With PureTalk whatever data plan I purchase, that’s what I get. It allows my grandson to have a little data for his phone when he’s not around WiFi. And my bill runs around $42 month. I save around $12 month switching from ** to PureTalk and I save much more than that from other carriers. Plus PureTalk has the same coverage area as any other carrier. So far I am satisfied with PureTalk.

I was told my old phone would transfer. After 2 weeks of messing with settings and talking to techs I decided to pay for a new phone. The new phone required a huge amount of time with techs to get it to work. A week later had to call again. Techs claim that everyone switching to Pure Talk has to change all these settings, (APN). After 6 calls and changes to settings things are now working, for the time being, No one ever offered to do anything for me due to the large amount of time that I couldn't send or receive texts, SMS and MMS. I am stuck with what I have now but would not recommend Pure Talk to anyone.

Since we switched from AT&T to PureTalk I haven't noticed any difference in phone quality or data. The only difference I noticed is my phone bill is less than half what I used to pay with AT&T, plus I have more data. I would highly recommend PureTalk.

I was led to believe that I would be able to establish a personal hotspot to allow me to make a connection between my iPhone and Ipad. After many calls to resolve the issue I was told your tech support could not resolve the issue without having 2 phones. I do not have access to a second phone. I called billing to request a reduction in my data contract since without the ability to connect to my Ipad I didn’t need the same amount of data. I was told my data plan could not be reduce.

I have loved PureTalk. The price is great and my service has been much better than with my previous carrier. I only have one issue - I can't access my email with the PIN I set up initially, and I can't get a hold of anyone at PureTalk to resolve the issue. This has been ongoing for a couple of months. Other than that, I love the service.

I 100% recommend switching to Pure Talk USA. Pros: Cost, quality, coverage, customer service associates. So pretty much everything is a pro. Cons: Hold time. The pros, however, far outweigh this one con. Star rating: Overall 5+ stars. Hold time when calling 1 maybe 2 stars. So 4 stars because the hold time might be off putting to some people with no patience.
We have only been with Pure Talk USA for a short time now. Absolutely love the service. The quality of the calls is fantastic. We only had one problem with transferring the iPad and the tech person solved that very easily. The reason for the 4 star rating isn't because of the actual phone service; that is a 5+ rating as far as I am concerned. Since we have had our service we have not had any issues, other than the one stated above, to need customer service, which is fantastic.
You have been requesting a rating on customer service and that is what this is about. The customer service is actually very good, and I am very grateful that I am speaking to someone who is in this country and we do not have a language barrier to contend with. The person we speak with is always polite, knowledgeable and patient. They are always able to help without another call being needed (when calling for transfer of mom's account then later upgrading her phone).
The only issue with customer service is the hold time to actually speak with a person. We have had two people transfer to Pure Talk from other providers on our recommendation. While they are very happy with the switch because the quality is higher than they were getting, they were less than impressed with the hold time. The hold time to speak with a person is usually 15 to 20 minutes or longer. For me that isn't a problem because I have plenty to keep me busy while holding. So yes, I still highly recommend switching to Pure Talk USA for high quality service and coverage at a very low rate.

What took me so long to sign up for Pure Talk? That's the question I keep asking myself. The service is amazing! Comments have been made by family that the reception is significantly better than T-Mobile. Also there are no dropped calls, which T-mobile is famous for doing. On top of this, it's 2/3's the cost! You don't give up service either. I had some questions about setting up VM, called PureTalk and was helped by an actual human! Get off the fence and get PureTalk!

Changing service was far more complicated than advertised. This is mostly due to ATT but PureTalk could have prepared me for it better. PureTalk's Service is generally okay but there are delays in sending and receiving text messages, especially photos. It's not as instant as ATT was. I do like the bill, however. It is more than half of what I was paying at ATT. So it's a mixed bag. Switching was a pain. The service is good but not as good. However, I'm saving over $1400 per year...so there's that.

I love everything about PureTalk, except for the answering system. It takes too much effort to check messages. Therefore I am now utilizing YouMail for my answering system. Other than that, I can barely tell the difference in quality between PureTalk, and Verizon. And, you can’t beat the money savings.

I love the service you provide & I am happy to support you. My only concern & complaint is cell phone reception. I live in the Greenacres in the Spokane Valley and daily I have some connectivity issues. My calls either get dropped or the call is connected but the caller or sender cannot hear the conversation. This is occurring in my home and so I have to wonder if it is a cell tower issue. This issue has increased since switching to your service. I have no desire to leave Pure Talk…it’s a great value and hopefully coverage will increase.

The reception is good most places I use my phone at, except for work. At least one location inside my work I get no reception at all and I used to get reception there with Straight Talk service. I work at L3Harris in Henrietta, NY. Maybe the service can be improved here in the future. Thanks.

I had to call 5 times to be able to send pictures with texts. Each time I got an answer that sounded like it would help but never did. At last, they sent a text to my other line that showed me what numbers I had to put in my phone. My relative had to help me with this and it worked! It was a long time doing this last step. I got a second line for my 31 year girlfriend who wanted a smart phone to replace her flip. I have a Doogee S60 LTE phone. Was on CellularOne service. Had no problems with calls going out or receiving calls. My phone is GSM phone and data works super but the phone calls are showing 4g 3 bars but when make outgoing call it will take 20-30 secs or longer then it will switch over to 3g and make the call some of the time but sometimes will not make call at all. I have spoke with tech services a couple of times but have not resolved the problem. Want to stay with Puretalk but I am 70 yrs old and on fixed income. My son is on ATT with iPhone and gets good service. My wife has TracFone flip phone on ATT and she has good service wherever we go. Would like to know if y'all have senior citizens discount on your iPhones in case I have to get a new iPhone like the 12 Pro Max? Thanks. John

I cannot text any photos. I can text okay, but not photos. They queue up and never send. I have reloaded the APN settings multiple times with tech support on the phone and still not working. The signal strength of the 4G is not very good here in 96067 and in my neighborhood. Sometimes when I try to voice talk, I get a message that a voice line is unavailable.

My only problem with Pure Talk is how often I have to call customer service and have my phone reset. I would have thought that doing it once would be enough, but I've had to do it four times in the first two months of service.

The service around town is a little weak compared to Verizon. I notice it is getting better after the holidays. I figure that you are building up the network around Victoria. Streaming has a little lag also compared to Verizon.

Customer service has been great - no complaints. The cell reception in our area is just ok. Often I only have 3G coverage and am concerned if we will have anything after 3G goes away. Is there anything you can recommend that will help in this area? Otherwise I'm happy with Pure Talk.

I was told by one of your technical advisors that PureTalk doesn't have the "feature" that AT&T has that enables your system to transmit text pictures or videos via text apps with WIFI CALLING. It works! Previous carrier (Verizon) was dead within miles of the house and had many dead spots in rural TN and KY. Voice quality excellent, but wish any of my vehicles could access the address book on the phone, makes me either go manual (illegal in TN) or remember everyone's number.

Hi when I signed up the sales rep specifically stated that calling to Canada/Mexico would be added to plans within the month and just be included in the plan cost, not costing any extra. This is why we switched, that turned out to be an outright lie. I have also called in to speak to a rep about it and was assured that they would review the call because all calls are recorded but no one ever did and no one has gotten back to me as promised. So as it seems this is just a big bait and switch to get as many people signed up for mediocre service because the coverage is not what was stated either. I doubt anyone will respond to this either but hey maybe we'll be surprised and this will actually be read and something will be done about it as promised. Thanks.

I rate Pure Talk as neutral as I am sometimes frustrated because my iPhone will drop and lose too many phone calls. While I believe you use the AT&T network, but I left them for PT and didn't drop as many calls previously.

Some calls tend to cut out and in during the conversation. I have also been told that some texts sent me have kicked back to the sender. I am happy with the cost vs the other providers and would recommend your service based upon that alone.

When I called the sales person acted like she never worked with a phone provider in her life. I have three lines with Pure Talk and I wanted to port my Verizon line over to pure talk and set them all up under one billing or contract.

We are mostly happy with Pure Talk service except for the issue of larger text messages can’t open. This was not a problem with AT&T. Very frustrating. This is definitely not an issue with our Android phone. We would appreciate your fixing this problem.

I haven't had any contact since signing up, so it is hard to judge on current activity. The initial contact was excellent. There seemed to be a great deal of difficulty transferring my number from StraightTalk to you. I was transferred several times in trying to resolve the problem, but everyone was nice. I am having some difficulty in speed of loading some internet pages, but am assuming it's my phone not you.

The service was easy to activate. Easy to update my phone with new SIM card. The price... What can I say other than it is the least cost of any other option I have seen. I am completely happy with our decision to leave T Mobile. We have great cell service no matter where we are in many areas that we never had service with T Mobile. The customer service is great. We have not had to call much so that is a testament to their reliable service. We unfortunately had to get new phones but the selection was good and we got a great price on our not top of the line but very capable Galaxy phones. I will tell anyone that the switch is completely worth it. The price is much better as well. For 4 lines, I am not paying a car note anymore. I also found with the availability of WIFI, we don't need unlimited data. We are very happy with our choice to switch. It's great to not be beholden to the "large" carriers. I am not writing this as a promotion.

I ordered 2 lines for our family and promptly received the SIM cards to start our service. Setup was easy online and was working within minutes. We've been able to enjoy unlimited talk & text and also the 2GB data. For our purposes this is great as we aren't heavy data users and so don't need to pay for more.

I drive a semi, I use a lot of data. I try to use my phone one day and have no data. The person I called said, "Oh well, it will renew in 5 days." Well, that just doesn't cut it. If I go over on the 5g data, then 4g should always be available. Bottom line is, unlimited is not a hard word to understand, when I pay for unlimited, I want unlimited. I went back to my old company before the 5 days were up.

Speed of texts and data is extremely slow when off our home network. Also, determining our final bill from AT&T and paying it before receiving a warning about being sent to collections was ridiculous. They referred us to you, you then referred us to them, both said nothing was owed until we got the warning letter.

I received my order within the time frame promised, and my phone was fairly easy to set up. The only issue I had was not being able to receive attachments within my text messaging and no data outside wifi signal. Once I notified Pure Talk about this issue via email I received perfect instructions the very same day as to how to rectify the issue. I was extremely pleased that these instructions worked immediately.

The phone service works great! With our former service we had to go outside to make calls. Internet streaming works well in the mornings, but not so great in afternoons, evenings and weekends when more people are home from work. We love the rates!

They gave me an updated APN configuration and now my phone has great service. I have service almost everywhere I go now and I live in an area where a lot of people can't get service unless you have a certain carrier. But my phone picks up now where most won't. I'm very happy. I live in the country where service is limited and I had Sprint and TMobile (when they switched) and wasn't happy with their service at all. When I switched to Pure Talk it got a little better but I don't get any calls at home but I can call out and for some reason I can no longer send pics any more. My husband uses Straight Talk on the Verizon network and has great service. I was hoping not to switch to Straight Talk or Verizon but it looks like I'm going to have to. Hope your service gets better and maybe I can switch back at some point.

Have reset many times but phone doesn’t keep settings in place. Can only place emergency calls and can’t receive any calls. After resetting, it will work for a day or two then has to be reset again. We are ready to go back to our previous carrier. We need to return free Apple phone. Please advise the next step.

I certainly appreciate the discounted rates compared to big mobile carriers, however I do feel like the actual coverage and reception I get is NOT as good as big mobile carriers. My hotspot doesn't seem to work as effectively or as efficiently as it used to with my previous mobile service. Also my voice messages do not allow for transcribing as it did with my previous carrier. And Sometimes, music, pics, app do not download as quickly as I am used to because signal is not strong.

Using this feature is cumbersome because you can't preview the numbers that have called. You have to listen to all the messages each time and you have to actually remember to check your voice as there is no visual clue that new vm has arrived. I'm certain I will get used to having to intentionally check my mail as I get more accustomed to the difference. Other than this I see no difference from my previous carrier.

Connecting to Pure Talk was efficient and hassle-free (unlike another service which I tried before this). I am unhappy that I have to dial into voice mail and in addition need to enter a password each time; this is a hassle for me! Why can't I just listen to the message? While using prepaid GSM smartphones I've shopped around for the best value while trying many network operators. Even though PureTalk doesn't have an app, they have a very easy setup experience and their AT&T based service is among the best in the RTP area. I've decided there are no better operators to choose from for GSM service and will be sticking with PureTalk for a long time to come. Warning: If you want advanced calling features like VoLTE or Wifi Calling, be sure you have a 100% AT&T compatible phone. You can bring incompatible phones to the network and they will receive service, just know that you need to be compatible to receive advanced features.

We made the switch about 3 months ago and brought over our own devices. So far the reception is more reliable than we had with USCC. I have service in areas Downeast that I did not before and less dropped calls. Overall the coverage is the same or better in every area that I have compared, mostly better. Speeds are better too but all your data counts against you including streaming music and whatnot. Even with upping my data a couple gigs I am saving well over $100 a month with 4 lines and we are much happier all around.

I need data to run my laptop using my hotspot. I never ran out of Data with Verizon. And my plan was similar to the $45 plan here. I don’t understand why Pure Talk Data goes at three times the speed of Verizon’s Data. Either way, I was forced to upgrade to the unlimited plan. That claims even when I go beyond the data allotment it will still work just be throttled back on speed. This is 100% untrue. I was a big fan of your company and happily signed a 2 year contract and have even added phones to my plan.
First off when the limit is hit it’s finished. No matter where I am or how good a connection 5G or not. I have sat with perfect signal trying to send a critical Email that ultimately lost me a contract for 45 minutes before giving up and accepting delete. I was going to upgrade my other phone Line as well but no need. Unlimited should be just what it says it is and not this ** false advertising campaign you are running. Also my hotspot disappears. I can’t fathom keeping a plan this expensive that doesn’t work as advertised. Will you send me an unlimited wireless wifi unit so I don’t lose my business? Couldn’t find them on your website but mine should be free.

Pure Talk USA delivers! I have not had an issue with service or coverage since switching over from AT&T. I am an Over-The-Road trucker and I’ve had coverage everywhere that I travel. Zero issues! Great savings! I’m satisfied, thus far. Thank you, PureTalkUSA.

It looks like you're taking away from our data even on wifi. I'm switching to someone else if that's the case. You should not be taking megabytes from our 10gb if I'm on my home wifi. Especially when you don't allow wifi calling on your service.

I was nervous about handling the transfer from Sprint to Pure Talk on my Android. The instructions were clear & helpful, and a call to Tech support regarding voicemail was also helpful. I am hopeful that when I change device (on upgrade) that Pure Talk will help adequately.

On 3 of our phones the internet is garbage. On wifi not bad But internet is lousy. Signing up was a nightmare... Long and mishandled. We paid for a month and went a month without internet. Service over phone not good.

Within the last 1 or 2 my phone has quit receiving pics as well as sending them. I cannot receive GIFs nor long texts. My husband's phone has been acting up even longer. We just became customers the beginning of Nov however we started the process the end of Oct. I cannot text in texts with more than 1 person either.

Much of the service works well, but there are several significant problems. Out of the box, my Samsung Galaxy A32 5G could not reply to messages with more than 10 recipients. Replacing Samsung Messages app with Google's fixed that. Some days the phone loses its connection to the carrier network and must be restarted to get connected again. This occasionally happens multiple times per day. Likewise, the phone occasionally gets only loud noise when I answer a call. Restarting the phone is also the only fix when this happens.

I hadn't changed cell carriers in almost 20 years and had lots of questions. PureTalk staff answered my questions and held my hand as we brought over my old and my husband's brand new phone. I was so pleased with quality and eagerness of staff to support me. They offered ideas for transferring data from one phone to another and had answers when voicemail wasn't working. I signed up for your service at half price 20$, y'all sent a chip because I WAS going to use the phone I had. It was in too bad shape. So I did NOT activate my service. 2 month later I BOUGHT a NEW phone from y'all and activated service. Y'ALL NEVER REFUNDED MY 20$. I WANT MY ** 20 DOLLARS DAMMIT! First, had we known we were going to get Google phones we would never have signed up with Pure Talk. Second, we get very poor service and often no service in the back of our house. This has been like a nightmare since we signed up including having our old service cut off when our new service wasn't working yet. When we call in about bad service, we have to go through filling in a form that is supposed to correct the problem but only lasts a short time.

I purchased the $45.00 dollar a month plan that I am suppose to keep it for 2 years to be able to get the free phone from you. I am not sure what month I actually got it. In November I think and I am wondering why you would give someone a free phone which is not free unless I purchased the $45.00 monthly plan. What happens when this phone dont work.

I am a former long time AT&T customer, I have noticed a change in performance (less reliable) and often I will have trouble sending images when sending text messages and it does not seem to be resolved following online instructions for this issue.

Disappointed in the service. When I am at work I can't call out or receive calls. If I am at home I don't always receive calls. If I am on internet at home, I can't send a message. I have to turn internet off to be able to send a message. My phone does not always ring when someone calls me, and does not say missed call. Very unpredictable service and I will probably not stay with it.

I cannot get coverage in my house! When I talk with friends and family I lose the call more than 50% of the time and I am constantly told “you are breaking up”, “you are fading in and out”, “I cannot hear you, hello?, are you still there?” I NEVER had this issue with Verizon and that is why I paid more to stay with them so that I could talk to others in my home! Let me know if this cannot be fixed and I will decide if I stay with you or not.

We test drive your product and have been very satisfied and now are telling friends and family about PureTalk. Setting up my existing iPhone 8 wasn't as easy as advertised. A "how to set up" video would be helpful. The coverage isn't as good in my area as what I had with Verizon (3 bars) which could be AT&T's coverage (2 bars). Is my data on the unlimited plan (the data I send to clients) being throttled? It is slower than Verizon. If I didn't dislike Verizon so much, I would cancel and go back.

We were very hesitant about switching our numbers and service to PureTalk. We have always had service off Verizon towers and I’ve had the same phone numbers for over 20 years. Didn’t want to lose those. But after working with customer service and talking to them they took the time to answer all my questions. We are extremely happy with pure talk USA. Not only is the service incredible customer service but so is the service on our phones. We are very happy all the way around with everything you have provided.

After being on hold multiple times for extended periods I finally give up getting customer service. I've updated my phone plan to unlimited data and my data is super slow when it works at all. I'm about to cancel my plan and I was going to add my wife to the plan but I can't even get customer service to answer my calls. In one case I was on hold for a half an hour before I gave up.

I have been on hold for almost two hours and have spoken to three different representatives trying to get help with 1st steps of becoming a Pure Talk customer. If this is a sign of future dealings with Pure Talk reps then I will admit defeat, and stay with Verizon. Honesty, I was just trying to save some money but I'd rather pay an extra $50 with Verizon, at least I know their customer service reps answer the phone and will try to help.

We have been extremely happy with Pure Talk. The three main things we have been happy with have been the customer service, pricing and cell coverage. When I would call customer service of our former cell provider, they usually were very difficult to understand due to a thick accent. The first time I called Pure Talk with a few questions about signing up, the person I talked to was so helpful, and most importantly, I could understand every word she said. That one aspect alone motivated me to seriously consider switching to Pure Talk. I am very happy with the Pure Talk product.

Because it was so difficult to get the phone service transferred over and took so long my wife won’t transfer her number. I tried to get Pure Talk to save money. Now I have to pay for 2 phone services and it’s cost me way more. I like the people that I’ve dealt with at Pure Talk but I can’t afford paying for two services. I went from paying a little under $200 at AT&T to now paying over $300 because of being billed by both of you. Don’t remember the order number. I wanted to recommend you to others but I can’t tell them that my experience has been good even though I wish I could.

About 2 months ago I purchased iPhone 12 from Puretalk and change from At&t to Puretalk. I have called 3 times and can't resolve the issue. Your customer service agents were kind and tried. I previously had iPhone 6, 8 & 10 with At&t and no problem with Hotspot. I have poor internet service at my home and occasionally need the hotspot. I purchased your unlimited plan but have no benefit from it.

My transfer from Verizon to Pure Talk did not go smoothly and all saved data, photos and contacts were lost. Now I am getting a message that I have used 2mg of data(?) I thought this Service was unlimited. This Nokia phone leaves a lot to be desired. It is very specific in how I am to hold it while I search and type. It also locks up on occasion requiring a restart.

I inquired about receiving the Veteran's discussion and was provided the instructions and email address. I inadvertently spelled the address wrong, and the email kept getting bounced back. I called to see where the error was and was given the address again and sent in my request. In less than 24 hours I received a response the change was made in my account and a thank you for my service (the last part was not necessary but greatly appreciated.)

I almost never get more than 1 bar anymore, no matter where I go in Sacramento. My wife hates the service, since she is a Door Dasher and the coverage affects her work product. We will probably switch back to Verizon this next year.

This week I called three times and techs could not help. The last tech sounded like she just rolled out of bed. Her attitude and tone of voice were very unprofessional. I had to ask if she was still there several times. I couldn't tell if she was on her phone doing something else or helping me. The three techs took me through APN settings (which vary from the email they send) to try to get my cell to send photo texts. None could help. The second tech put me on hold because she didn't know what else to do to fix the issue. She never called back, after the call went to the original options as if I had just called again.
I expected more from a veteran-owned business. Currently, except for price and Puretalk not donating to organizations I do not support, I am 40% out of 100% whether we will stay with PureTalk. Please improve customer service experience through short wait times, professional phone calls, call clients back when you drop the call, seek supervisor help if techs can't figure out what to do next, etc. I still need help my getting phone to operate correctly. Websites do not work right with Duck Duck Go, I can't find Google Play after disabling it, etc. Thankfully I can actually do photo texts now. I don't know what happened to fix it.

We’ve had your service a few months but my wifi freezes in every place. The AT&T seemed to keep me connected! We will continue a few months to see if it improves. AT&T’s service is known to be weak in our area but something is not working properly.

The price is definitely right for our 3 phone plan; however, we have sporadic issues with service, including the ability to send and receive text messages with photos. We can receive some videos, but not send them. We must Wi-fi at home in order to receive good phone service and, because of the Pure Talk partner in our area, some areas are still dead spots.

We couldn’t consistently access internet. We could not reliably send or receive texts. We could not send gifs in group texts. The service was terrible. Customer service consisted of a manuscript general email rather than personal troubleshooting. We were very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend Pure Talk

Very disappointed that this cannot be easily included with your plans. It was not explained by customer service when signing up and I didn’t even ask because Verizon had it and I’m sure ATT does too. The complicated way to get your plan and it only lasts 30 days is ridiculous.

We could not always receive or send MMS messages. It took a couple of calls to tech support over the first month to load settings that worked for us. All has been working well since! We're still getting use to Android system having switched from Apple. We are happy with our switch to Pure Talk.

I rarely have more than a bar or two of service… 4G pfftt, no such thing with Pure Talk. The monthly fee seems reasonable enough until you consider the fact that service is terrible. Too bad real business calls that I depend on, aren’t as well received as the ** spam calls I receive are!

I do get phone service almost everywhere. I am not satisfied with my phone. I don't receive some messages and I can't use my data I'm paying for. The only way I can use the internet and the apps if I am hooked up to WiFi. I have tried to turn off the WiFi and use the Pure Talk data but does not work. I am not sure if it's the phone or Pure Talk themselves. I have been told from someone this phone has a history of complaints about this issue.

I moved my service from T-Mobile as they were overcharging for hot spot usage. I checked PureTalk coverage before I moved my phone. Thankfully, I am not being overcharged but I have terrible reception. Half the time, calls drop and I am unable to use the data. I called customer service and she said.. "We don’t guarantee service with Android phones." It sure would have been helpful to know this before transferring service. I was with T-Mobile 20 years. Even though they overcharged for data… I at least had service.

I haven’t got voicemail set up yet because it’s not easy to understand the process. While typing this, I went to submit and received a message it had timed out. I’m dissatisfied with several things. Sure can’t put it with 200 characters.

Ordered new Samsung Galaxy A32 5G phone...Simple to activate from old phone to new one...Phone is working great and the service from Pure Talk is fantastic!..Will be purchasing another new one for myself soon...Just need to decide want I need to replace my phone...A lot to choose from with competitive prices.

I want to give 5 stars for the service I get with Pure Talk, that part is nothing short of awesome. However, I’ve only been a customer for 2 months now. Both months like clockwork there has been a glitch when trying to call out at the end of my billing cycle. I’ve even paid my bill early and paid the $5.00 fee to pay early. Every month near the end of my billing cycle I try to dial out, when I do I get an error message saying my balance is too low to make a call.
I’ve been lucky so far that this has happened when customer service is open. I call, they do something in the computer, then I restart my phone, and all is right with the world. But, if I had this happen after hours, I’d be without service until they open in the am. I’m not okay with this. I’ve talked to customer service about this and they said it’s a known glitch, and they MIGHT be working on an update to fix it. This is poor customer service in my opinion, on puretalk's end, not the call center employees. If they could fix the glitch, they would get 5 stars from me.

I get poor coverage in areas that weren't a problem with my prior carrier, AT&T. Service doesn't work well with Google maps, it shows inaccurate location during use. Overall I'm a little disappointed with the service but will give it some time.

Total Nightmare, 17 phone calls to switch companies and still no texting, limited service on system. So I order a new phone directly from Pure Talk and it takes six plus days to arrive, I leave for business trip, no time switch units and I was hesitant to do so after the lack of any service from pure talk. Emails, what a joke, I respond to the email and nothing happens as the person is never available!!!! Supervisor, Who are these people in charge???? They will never get on a direct call because they are COWARDS and INCOMPETENT. So Many Hours Wasted on this company. After I finally get to switch the phone it is a failed device and the calls to get it exchange is a new NIGHTMARE ALL OVER AGAIN!!! If I don't receive a working phone, law suit will be next!! Veteran started this company! Who Jimmy Carter!!

PureTalk has great customer service! They answer your questions before and after subscribing. I only missed giving them 5 stars because I'm not happy with the Nokia phone I bought from them. I wanted a 'dumb' flip phone, but none was available through PureTalk, and hardly any for sale with good reviews with their 4GLTE service. I do want to give a review of the phone, it is horrible to text with. I did not want and still do not want a smart phone. I may have to find another phone, but I will stick with PureTalk!

Excellent customer service. My coverage seems to be very close to when I had AT&T. But so far I don't have any complaints. They are half the cost or less plus I get a military discount. Again they are excellent. I would highly recommend.
