I called customer service to set up my visual voicemail. Representative was very helpful. Only took a few minutes and I was good to go and it was a US customer service person. My wife and I are retired and we switched over to Pure Talk because of the outrageous price of the major carriers and our service has been as good as the high priced carriers and only $48 a month for the two of us.

Same day purchase and activation using single phone call. Saving $40/month total for two lines now after switching from Verizon. Have your Verizon account number and Number Transfer PIN ready. You also need your phone’s IMEI and EID numbers. Call took 41 minutes. PureTalk sales and activation personnel were courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. A great experience.

I subscribed to PureTalk in Nov/Dec 2023. So far, the service has been outstanding at less than half the price of Verison. The true test was driving to some remote parts of AZ and the service still worked. I have not had a chance to talk to a customer service rep yet so I can't rate them.

I was told that $20.47 would be automatically deducted from my account every month for the service that Pure Talk was providing. This month Pure Talk decided to take $27 and just tell me that that's what it was going to be. I'm very disappointed and will likely be cancelling my service due to being misinformed from a Pure Talk representative about the amount of money they would be taking from my bank account on a monthly basis. This example is exactly why I would not recommend giving anyone access to your bank account information for automatic deductions. Hwo

We love Pure Talk, except that daily they leave me a voice mail, which I cannot retrieve, because they want my pin number (no problem) and then my password. It's a strong password, and I cannot enter it on my phone (I've tried, and get cut off by pure talk in the process). They only give me a few seconds. How do you put in capitals and then no capitals and back and forth between symbols on the dial pad of a cell phone?

I had AT&T and I wanted to save money and not support the big cell companies. I heard about PureTalk on Sean Hannity and thought I'd try it. I had one unlocked phone of my own and bought two phones from PureTalk. I figured my unlocked phone would be a little difficult to switch but assumed the phones I bought would be ready to go but that wasn't the case. All three phones took hours on the phone with tech and customer support. The third and final phone wouldn't work at all. They determined it was a bad SIM card. I was sent another SIM and more time with tech support they determined the phone was defective. I sent it back and they completely forgot about me.
I had to call asking about my phone about 6 times to finally get it sent back. I was told there's nothing wrong with the phone. Took a month to get back to me. I got it back & had to go through the activation process again and it finally worked. No exaggeration. I've wasted 6 plus hours on the phone between customer and tech support. I think the whole process on the phoned I purchased was avoidable. They should have been ready to go. After the 3 month long switchover nightmare the service is fine. I had AT&T before and haven't noticed any difference in coverage. So to summarize I'm happy with the service once all my phones actually worked.

I am so amazed that this wonderful company can offer such perfect service at such a lower rate than I have been paying all these many years. I'm trying to toot this horn to my friends, but it seems too good for people to believe. I sometimes wonder if it's an illusion, but every month the bill comes and it really is only $28, rather than the $100! Was paying for the same service-but, get this, BETTER service.

Everything that was promised! Same great network, helpful customer service, and a lot less money! I've recommended to all of my friends but most of them seem tied to the big 3 by some strange tribal loyalty. I'll bet inflation will take its toll soon enough, and see a rush to Pure Talk!

Hubby has Pure Talk and when my carrier gave non-existent service with no customer service, it was an easy decision to get another line for my phone. Super customer service! Old carrier was difficult to break from, but perseverance paid off. Loving my new service...which actually allows me to get and make phone calls!!

My phone keeps not being able to make or receive calls. I have dealt with this issue more than once. It takes a call to Pure Talk technical support which takes a long time to get through to an agent. It may be due to my phone itself, or because the Pure Talk reception cuts out.

I have been with Pure Talk since December 2022. During each month I have had the same problem. The problem is, I don't want to have to put in a pin number to get my voice mails. Each month I go into your system and change it but the next month same problem. If it happens again, I am moving on.

We like the idea of not having a bill like we did ATT. The comms is good, although when we receive a voice mail, we do not get the preview we used to get, we have dial into our system to listen to our voicemail.

I have been a good and paying customer for over 2-years and am not happy with PureTalk. First, the phone coverage sucks and the data is super slow. But hey, the cost is cheap; you get what you pay for. My issue, and what is causing my grief today is that I can't get the deals they are offering new customers. The monthly rate is less, and, I need a new phone. Please note, my phone was a PITA to get unlocked and transferred to PureTalk, which was of little help. Hence, I'm with a five-year-old relic of a phone I brought with me, and, PureTalk is like, "screw you!" Hence, I'll be looking for another carrier, even if I have to pay more! Cheers.

When I signed up your customer service rep told me that my billed amount would come out during the middle of the month. It has consistently come out of my acct at the end of the month when my house payment is made. Why was it switched? This is not what I prefer. Bryan

I live in a really bad dead zone and rely on wifi calling, but Pure Talk does not offer that option which often puts me in a difficult situation. I really need you to offer that or increase your signal in my area.

I don't feel that the technical support people are knowledgeable about how to resolve problems with the Schok Classic phones. My phone finally froze up on me and I called Schok and they sent me out a new phone. Why wasn't I referred to Schok a long time ago?

I really like Pure Talk. I haven't had one single problem of any kind. With my last carrier, the service dropped off continually, especially when I'd use Maps, even in a large city. I am really glad I have Pure Talk now.

On January 20th, I signed up for PureTalk, hoping to save money from our AT&T bill. I signed up online and everything went smoothly. At the end, it asked if I wanted to port/keep my number or get a new one. I selected to keep, but something must have went wrong and I got a new number. I figured that I would test out the service and compare it to AT&T. I had both networks on my iPhone and the bars were almost always identical. I was impressed at how this is AT&T service.
So we were happy and two days later I called to see if I could port my number. I was told that I would have to open another line, even though I had just paid $7. I discussed it with a family member and we started to see about porting the number. I paid $20 and started the process. An hour later we were already having issues. So, we decided to cancel Pure Talk all together.
The cancellation went smoothly. Customer Service was professional. However, they would only refund me the $20 and said that I did not qualify for the $72 refund. So, I was ripped off by a service that I barely used within 2 days. So beware that you must know what you want and don't believe that they will give you money back within 30 days.

I very happy with the phone service. Customer Service has been good. The phone message service is clumsy. I do not like to dial in to get my messages, then push 7 to delete, etc. I would prefer to get my messages directly on my phone.

What's to decide? Great customer service, competitive pricing, non-woke company are just a few reasons to make the switch. My only advice is to make sure to keep your sim card until the activation is complete. I, unfortunately, did not and had a bit of a hiccup during the transfer but PureTalk customer service was very helpful and and got the job done.

When I signed up for Pure Talk, I was sold - or told one thing and it turned out to be something else. When I called in about it, the representative was very rude and did not help or care about me as a customer at all. Looking for new carrier for my phone service. Very unhappy with Pure Talk

The worst part of switching over to Pure Talk was getting our cell number from our old provider. A very complicated process. Once we got the phone up & running, it has functioned as promised--every bit as good of service as we have ever had with a cell phone. We like doing business with this good company that values life.

We live in the country and have had AT&T, Cricket, and others... I have to say we get better service than any of the others. There are no dropped calls, and no problems with any of the apps on our phones. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I both had very old phones that were 3G. We also had Verizon for over 25 years, but Verizon was very expensive. We needed new phones and service and we decided to go with Pure Talk. Although it took me 2 days to get my pin from Verizon, and that is a thank you to your customer service for helping me. My wife and I are thoroughly satisfied with service and pricing. Unlimited Talk & Text + 4GB purchased phone for $429 and put on Visa credit card. Paid price of phone in full and currently have $33.42 put on my Visa card each month. Gradually learned to use new phone and purchased cover and magnet to apply to back of phone to mount on magnetic phone holder to attach to heat vents. Have been very happy with the phone and have learned to use about half of the features and apps. Chose Pure Talk because of conservative companies that advertise Pure Talk. Still get telemarketers and spam calls, but I don't think those can be avoided.

I am very disappointed with the inability to have Google phone work on Pure Talk, numerous calls and try’s still the phone never worked with Pure Talk. I will be canceling the Google phone service. In my opinion Pure Talk misled us on all phones working.

I was unsatisfied with the service from Verizon, especially the many trips to one of their stores and the cost of their service. Since moving to PureTalk I've enjoyed good service without any problems to date and my cost has been cut in by more than 50%,, keep up the good work. Couldn’t make calls. On auto draft. Customer assistance transferred me 3 times, tech support (Jason) insisted I give him another credit card number “because I didn’t have money to pay the bill”. Had $35,000 available! Kept badgering me to give him card number. Demanded to get a call back from a supervisor. Will call in 24-48 hr. Didn’t call. Next time told gal I would be flying - wouldn’t be available for about 36 hrs. Got a garbled msg on a landline at work. Call back number, inaudible but no longer getting calls. Numerous customer service calls have been messed up. Cut off phone vs tablet etc. That dept needs serious help!!!

I live in Grand Junction Colorado, traveling throughout the city during the day making deliveries and speaking to customers. The signal strength is very poor. At home (core of the city) I have only 1-2 bars. At work 2. While visiting Phoenix I have 4 bars about anywhere I go. I completely lose service at times if I leave the Grand Junction area or I70 corridor. Not good. May have to go back to my old carrier for this reason.

Changed to PureTalk for a lower cost per month. Was without phone service for a full week. Have a Pixel 2 XL. My phone was determined to be acceptable for their network by PT as a first step in the sign-up process!! After my phone was ported over to PT, I was never able to make or receive calls! Could exchange texts, search the internet over an internet connection, but not over a data connection unless I had a functioning internet connection nearby. Out, away from my house - no data, no web! Exchanged several emails with PT Support. They had the audacity to suggest that I might need a new phone! I made the switch to save money, not buy a new phone! Did everything they suggested, including a factory reset on the phone.
Finally called PT Support. Spent over an hour trying to make it work. Still no phone service! To their credit, the person who tried to help me on the Support Team was exceptional. So then, I had to spend another 4 hours to get ported to a different cell phone service. Porting off of PureTalk was not easy. And finally, I had to call PT to get my refund. Moral of my experience: If you have an older phone, you might not want to switch to PT unless you want to spend days trying to make your phone work again!!

The start up was a little iffy, but PureTalk customer service gets an A+. I had Verizon for 20+ years, but when they raised my bill to double what it had previously been, I said Enough! I pay half the price now for the same service and Puretalk is just as reliable as I had before plus as I said above customer service is excellent.

I had Pure Talk for 3 months because I wanted a veteran owned cell provider. Even though At&t towers accessed I wanted off major corporate big tech providers... Pure Talk could not support my device that I came to pure talk with...then I purchased a new device from Best Buy...Pure Talk did not support that Samsung Galaxy A23 5g phone...I just gave up after that and went to Mint Mobile which is compatible with my new phone model and also found out they would support my older phone as well...so Pure Talk has issues supporting phones unless you buy a phone from Pure Talk...very disappointed in this supposed U.S. Veteran owned & operated provider...never again!!!

Transitioning to PureTalk was easy. We appreciate the monthly bill savings $$. We have experienced some downsides.
2. Cannot use iPhone VM feature. You have to call your VM, enter a pin in order to hear your message.
3. Rare occasions spotty service.
Overall, we are happy. The bill savings was so significant that it outweighs the downsides. We will continue to be PureTalk customers.

I wanted to leave my old provider to Pure Talk because it is less expensive and their site looked great. Staff were super friendly however the service became stressful and questionable when the first attempt to transfer my number left me without any service at all and no help from PureTalk porting dept [closes in the evenings]. I later misplaced the SIM card and attempted to get a replacement, after 20 minutes and four transfers I decided to cancel. I am not ready to deal with a phone company that cannot manage a small snag and not available when needed. Not worth it!

I was with Pure Talk less than a month. I left due to poor customer support. To make matters worse, Pure Talk continued to bill us for three months. We had been on auto pay, and so PT continued to “hit” our charge card for months. Sad to say, but I think the old saying applies here. “You get what you pay for.” Sorry to leave a negative review, just being honest.

This company is great. Changing my number over was quick and easy and I never noticed a stop in phone service. The price is excellent for the amount of data I need. I will add both of my kids in a few months and it will still be cheaper than what I was paying with my prior "big name" provider. The service is the same with minimal to no delay while using apps that require data. All in all Prue Talk is a great company and I have already recommended them to friends and family.

The phone and customer service with Pure Talk is good, but my battery life is much shorter. Could be constantly searching for a signal that is causing it, but I'm not sure. Didn't have this issue with previous carrier. Not a deal breaker, but noticeable.

My husband and I purchased 2 phones from PureTalk and have had nothing but problems with this service. We left AT&T Wireless to save money and have easy transition as is advertised by PureTalk on the Clay and Buck Show. So far we have called at least 12 times to try to get the phone to work properly. Right now I can make and receive phone calls and some email messages. After weeks of trying to receive texts I cannot receive images. Downloading items is a nightmare. I had to go buy a disposable phone just so I could keep in touch with my elderly parents. Those 12 times my husband and I had to call PureTalk for help were calls that lasted one hour or longer!
This experience has been a horrible experience I wish would be resolved. Dealing with PureTalk has caused so much unnecessary stress in our lives. My husband and I do not need this stress in our lives. There are people from PureTalk that call to "help" at random times of day when I don't have an hour or longer to stay on the phone. Don't get me wrong the people we have talked to are nice and seem helpful but the end result is not fixing the problem. We are on our second SIM card and still the service is awful. I cannot in all honesty recommend PureTalk as a cell phone carrier company.

Recently switched to PureTalk from Verizon. My wife and I found out that we weren't receiving text messages from some numbers, including my daughter's Gabb watch. I called support who first said PureTalk doesn't control who can send me text messages and that is a setting on my phone. I told them this was nonsense since I had zero issue before switching to PureTalk. She had me do a network reset and now my mobile data doesn't work. She said she would call me back in a few minutes after I did the network reset but never got a call back. I'll have to wait on hold again.

Verizon would not work AT ALL in northeastern Montana where we have a lot of family. Verizon also had very poor service in Englewood, CO near the Denver Centennial Airport where we also have family and travel for business. Now with PureTalk we have found the solution and the service is great! My only regret is that I didn't listen to Rush when he first did ads for you! Clay and Buck finally sold me to switch over.

This phone company needs some customer support training. I was not delivered what I was promised. By the time I got to a supervisor and she listened to the recorded call, they said they would make it right. By making it right, they charged me for the shipping and other fees to send out new equipment. Then when I called her she said, "Oh we don't refund, we just credit your account."
They used my credit card on file (you have to have that for the phones) and never told me they were charging me for their mistake. I said, "You're the one that charged me when you said you were going to make it right and get the correct stuff out to me. And now, you charged me shipping and fees and admitted it was a mistake that you did that blah blah blah..." and I just quit because that was the second go-round with them after the initial original order that was incorrect. Also, the phone service is S-L-O-W. No longer will use them, ever, because they are a dishonest company.

My overall experience with Pure Talk has been truly enjoyable and the savings over Verizon are considerable. However, I’ve found I’m simply unable on many occasions to text a photo to Android phone users, or group texts that have Android addressees. Sometimes it seems to depend upon my phone’s signal strength (which is not great at my residence).

Left Verizon for Pure Talk and have not noticed any significant coverage difference. I understand PT uses the AT&T network that has average coverage for us. Prior to subscribing to Pure Talk I called their agent directly because my cell phone is for 98% business use. I was told that everything would remain the same as for the features and service I was receiving prior to the conversion to Pure Talk. This is not true. My Verizon Wireless "Visual Voicemail" will not work even with Pure Talk Technical help. I asked for a small credit for this system which I use daily. Pure Talk refused. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy A 51 Android.

One of the things that I miss is talking directly to the customer service rep without authorization from my husband. I would guess that Pure Talk would have a record of the two cell phone numbers: 1 being my husband, Gregory C ** at ** and mine, Elaine **, at ** and given past authorization given by Greg. Sometimes it is inconvenient for him to call during the day since he is at work at NASA. In order to resolve a problem, he needs to reach home early on the weekends, not on the weekends. When we both forgot our voicemail passwords, it almost a month for him to call due to his work schedule and your office hours.

Dropping my phone bill from almost 80 dollars to 47 alone was worth the change. I have no dropped phone calls and My GPS now works everywhere I go. I live out in the country and ATT left me stranded a few times. My only issue is at times the internet slows to a crawl and not having it in my home I depend on my phone. I don't stream movies and likely wouldn't with this issue. Oerall though I am very happy with the phone service.

Voice-mail is not as friendly as our previous provider. It had voice-mail notification. With Pure Talk I have to call my number and type in my password, as you know. I now check voice-mail once or twice a day instead of when a voice-mail is recorded. Other than voice-mail we have no regrets in switching to Pure Talk.

I signed up for PureTalk 9/23/2022. I received my new iPhone soon after. It was not activated till 11/4/22 because I needed help to download. My agreed replacement credit of $35 was changed later to $30 because I did not activate within 30 days. When I received the email I declined the offer because it said the cell was returned late. I was returned immediately, arriving 11/7/22, Track #**. While trying to rectify, I received the phone back. PT reps have been very nice, but can never get to manager to help. Pure Talk advertises that you can keep your phone, but not true, if you are w Verizon because of their technics.

I previously utilized Verizon and then later AT&T. Both provided terrible connectivity, when they moved on to 5G. With Puretalk I now have great connectivity, actually the best ever. I'm disappointed in the signal strength. I've never had more than 3 bars lit up. Most of the time there is only 1 bar lit. I was pleased with your technical support. They were very helpful. I don't live in a remote area so I don't get why my signal strength is not strong.

I have made numerous calls about the inability of this phone to get service while in the house. I have spent hours on the phone with both Puretalk and Nokia. I was told by Puretalk that you can't expect a phone to work indoors and there is nothing to do. Nokia's answer to everything is back up your phone then factory reset. They suggested this every time I've called them. I followed their instructions the first time, it made no difference. We are right in the middle of a 5g/4g area in a large city. I have been told by people at BestBuy that companies like Puretalk purchase coverage but we get the weak end of the towers, calls have secondary priority. I had T-Mobile before and never had an issue with coverage. I'm retired and a phone/service I can't use at home is worthless. I looked into cell extender systems and couldn't find any info to guide me to the right specification for the system to work with my phone. I would welcome speaking to someone and get the issue resolved. Be honest, let me know if the issue can't be resolved so I can move on to another carrier if I have to.

I switched to PureTalk because I could get 2.5GB data (with the AMAC promotional offer) for only $20/month, which was only $1 more per month than the 1GB data I was getting each month from Twigby (now a Verizon-based MVNO). The free renewal of my AMAC membership was nice, too. I had a bit of trouble getting the data connection configured correctly on the Moto X4 I started on PureTalk with, but have since replaced that device with a new phone (with Android 12), and now have the data working properly, whether or not I'm connected to WiFi. I was previously a PureTalk user years ago for just a few months (with a very underpowered plan for my needs), but even then was quite impressed by the US-based customer service. Thank you, PureTalk!

Everything was good and I am enjoying the service and savings. My only concern deals with the phone trade in. After switching my son to PureTalk on our plan, we needed to get him a new phone as his older phone would not work in 5G. A trade in was offered of $40 and we accepted that. When the box arrived, we shipped the old phone out the next day (October 2022). I get an email in December 2022 which says that since the phone was late arriving, the value was dropped to $10 and that I needed to accept it. I thought that was sketchy as I sent the phone in the next day but whatever. I attempted to accept the new offer but there was no way to do so. I clicked the link provided and it took me to my PureTalk account but again there was no button or page or anything to allow me to accept the new offer. The old phone was supposed to be returned but it was not.

I used Puretalk for 2 years and it was fine. Coverage was decent. I even had coverage in some areas of the country that my wife did not on AT&T. I drive through rural West Virginia every year on my way to visit family at Christmas. I had coverage the entire way. When I decided to cancel service, they initially blocked the transfer of my number. I called them up to clarify what I needed to do. They took my information then hung up on me. I did eventually get the number transferred, but it was not easy.

Switching services didn’t go well. Nobody followed through on getting devices connected and getting service activated. iPad wouldn’t work for 2 months. Kept running out of data. Was a terribly experience. Your service was more expensive for me. So I switched back to my local carrier.

I recently made the change from the big V to Pure Talk after looking at all the different plans and pricing available. I chose Pure Talk because their rating and millitary stance. I don't know if it is their service or ATT, but my spam in both my message and e-mail apps has increased by over 1000%. I have a hard time keeping up with the deletion, getting as many as 50 an hour. Remind you the only change made was switiching from Verizon to Pure Talk. The span started withing 15 minutes after confirmation the port was complete. What is going on here???

I purchased two devices and multiple lines of services from Pure Talk. That was a mistake. Your company's saving graces were lower prices and stateside customer service. The efforts to resolve my issues with your devices were exceptionally bad. The new Samsung device I purchased had a defective battery and was unable to make outgoing calls. The battery regularly overheats. Your company refused to replace or repair the devices, and Samsung's repair vendor was of no use. I will be transferring all of my numbers from Pure Talk in short order. I am also considering litigation against your company.

I switched from Verizon because they have gotten very expensive and the service was not that good as they were in past. Switching was sorta easy, been better if I was more tech savvy. I recently returned my primary phone ** to T-mobile. I left my second phone ** with Pure Talk. I would have left both of them but must have the multi-text option. I have more than 10 multi-text groups I need. I tried to get it fixed by talking to people at Pure Talk but NO luck.

I was with Pure Talk previously for about 3 years. Loved the price and the tech support. One day I switched to a 5g phone and called tech support because I had to purchase a new phone. The tech told me that I could just google that a fix it myself and she then shut off my phone. I went back to Verizon for the gunga deal price of $102.00 a month. Pissed me off! So I came back for the price and to see if you all ever shut off my phone for no reason again. I will get legal support and see where that goes. For the most part, your service is good, but it just takes one person to ** it all up. Let's hope that I don't run into that one person again. Really. I mean it.

Coverage iffy in more areas than Verizon and no visual voicemail. I like the price but was less to believe that the coverage would be lighting fast. My son's 5G is slower than LTE. Buck Sexton and Hannity talk about blazing data, booty the case. I'm just saying.

No wifi calling supported and I can't get a direct answer from support. I get a weak signal at times and I can't make or receive calls. Verizon has a better signal and supports wifi calling. I am thinking of switching back if I can't get a direct answer from PureTalk if it does or does not support WIFI calling.

We changed to Pure Talk about 5 or 6 months ago and my wife's phone still will not accept texts. Her Messenger+ icon was somehow removed from her phone. We have talked to Pure Talk, Samsung and a local business referred to us by Samsung. No one seems to know how to restore the Messenger+ icon.

Pros: they do save your money, their customer reps are US based and are sincere in their mission to help.
Cons: (Old news) when tried to move 2 phones from AT&T last year is took two day to get a Sim Card debacle squared away with the end result being I still have a Phone on AT&T due to how Pure Talk sent the SIM Card lose, I ate the cost of the sim card and it took many ours of phone time and over 2 days to correct. Fast forward to today, wanted to add a New Line and buy a Flip Phone for an elderly family member. Spent 45 min on line trying to add a $20 per month line and buy the $50 advertised Flip Phone. After contacting the very Customer Rep, she also failed after the 1st 12 minutes to get the Pure Talk systems to take the order. Than after t more minutes, the phone price was $139, not the $50 online that was for "New Customers".. So, Pure Talk did not get any new business from me and I am at the point of once again looking at all my options as My wife's phone is still in AT&T for nearly $60 per month. I need a new phone for a elderly parent and Pure Talk seems focused on something other than consumer needs!

I can't say enough good about PureTalk. Verizon's bill was fracturing me every month for 2 lines, I saw the PureTalk commercials and they sounded simply put, too good to be true. I believed the price but I was fearful the coverage and service would be compromised. But 4 months in, everything they advertise is absolutely true. I travel all 48 states for business and I've never had a dropped call or a data breach anywhere. It's like I never left Verizon, just for half the price. And for me, my final bill each month with PT has been cut much more than half! I love this company and its service. I just wish I made the switch much sooner!

I found that my voicemail message on my calls did not transfer over in my change of carrier but customer service was able to fix this problem quickly. Pure Talk is not the best price around for MVNO carriers, but it offers a good balance of price, performance and support. I like the US-based and friendly customer support and that the owners support my values. I have had some issues with data speeds in crowded areas like Costco but coverage is fine most of the time. Getting our phones to work took extra effort with APN settings but they all eventually fully worked after that effort. So good all-in-all, but not perfect.

The Connection to cell service is super spotty and unless I am at home my internet connection does not work hardly at all. I’m not really happy about switching. I have been looking into going back to AT&T. I switched on a friend's recommendation and the prices but I’m not sure it’s worth it. For half the price, Pure Talk gives as good reception and service as any of the more expensive big names. They will also auto-withdraw on a monthly basis instead of three-month basis [unlike Straight-Talk, which requires 3-month pre-pay]. So far, no problems at all.

I have been surprisingly pleased with my switch from VZW to PureTalk. Somehow I have managed to receive an increase in signal strength in most locations. It seems like the data transmission is a bit slower, but that is a small price to pay, and I rarely am out using the service so it's no big deal. I do get nearly instantaneous text and email alerts, so perhaps I'm only perceiving a slower 4G data speed (iPhone 11 Pro Max on iOS beta). The price is insanely less, though I did give up my Apple Watch cellular service- which was nice to have, especially when I forgot my phone. However, that is a small price to pay (literally), as our monthly went down from $125 to $45. That more than justifies the loss of the GPS on the watch. Again, I get signal on PureTalk in places where I did not with VZW, and I always thought V was the top of the crop.

I have ZERO complaints with Puretalk's service. I haven't noticed anything from slower internet, lack of service, dropped calls, nothing different than my previous carrier. The only difference is I'm saving 100 dollars a month since switching to Puretalk, for the same reliable service (& more monthly data). The ONLY negative I have is it wasn't the easiest thing to switch over to Puretalk. I'm pretty tech-handy, & the customer service is awesome, but I did have to call 4 times when I was switching carriers. I have recommended it to my parents, but there is NO WAY they would be able to figure out switching carriers without my assistance. If there was a way to simplify this process, I think it would help tremendously. Luckily customer service was very prompt & helpful. Lastly I love how Puretalk's values align with mine! Well, LOVE the price! Phone calls are clear, but the data-side of the experience is a little frustrating at times. On my wife's phone (newer iPhone 8), she often gets the message that the internet is not available. On my iPhone (SE 2nd gen), the data is sometimes painfully slow to load. First, was never told that my phone was not compatible with Pure Talk when I signed up! Only found out when the SIM card came and my phone wouldn't work! Second, was having problems with the phone that I bought a Samsung, the phone will not stay connected to the network! After numerous calls regarding the problem I told him I needed a new phone. I was told a new phone was ordered and after a week having that received it I called back I was told a phone was never ordered!

Truly I am grateful for the reasonable monthly bills. But adjusting to PureTalk is like previously having a luxury model to having the most inexpensive model. It was an adjustment that my budget dictated. At first I could only do searches when I had Internet connection. Currently that is not an issue. Having had another provider that was about 3 to 4 times more expensive but with many options, I have had to adjust to a “just the essentials.” One example is the luxury of instant voicemail (just like instant texts) without having to go through several steps to get to a voicemail. That seems like an outdated way to access voicemails. There is no immediate identification of the number or name of those leaving a voicemail.
When I was transitioning between my former provider and PureTalk, it took three days. I basically didn’t have a phone or contact with family and friends. That was not easy. I was told service would be available within 24 hours—not so. I was able to keep my phone number for which I was most grateful. I am not going to leave PureTalk, but I cannot recommend it as being a smooth transition.

My cellphone reception has not improved with PureTalk as I hoped, however it works well enough that I am staying with you in hopes it will get better and because I don't like how Verizon has gotten into politics. I typically have 1-2 bars in my home which is a definite step down. Everything requiring data seems to move slower on my phone. But it does work.

Unable to adjust the length of ring time before call goes to voicemail. Was told the ring time was set for my phone and it cannot be changed. Phone rings for about 15-seconds before going to voicemail. Used to be able to adjust ring time, but told that is now longer possible. AT&T will change ring time, but only by request. This feature should be controlled by the customer, not by random decision.

So far we are very happy with the service with the exception of area coverage. I am in Tallahassee, Fl and my mom went to visit my sister in Ocala, Fl. The transition from Verizon to Pure Talk was not smooth. Lost contacts and e-mails. Did not disclose your visual voice mail does not work on Aneroids, tried to imply it might; wasted our time three times and made the regular voice mail we had set up reset. Tried you out because Shawn Hannity advertisement, had to call you at least twice to get the credit. Still don't know that it has been applied.

Support is above average, coverage is in between Verizon (best) and T-Mobile (worst). I expected more from the AT&T network. Lots of local users have complained about ATT outages lately. I keep my PureTalk account strictly as a backup plan for Verizon at this point, not sure how long I will stay on as a customer, nothing there to entice me to stay. 5G is weak, LTE is what it connects with mainly in my area, which is different than Verizon, where I get a solid 5 bars on their 5G Warp network. I am in a very metro area which great coverage and medium density, this should not be an issue for AT&T in the 27502 area code.

I have to say I was a little apprehensive at first. I have been with AT&T for years. They have good service, but costly. Everyone I tell about Pure Talk, they say, "Ya, but we have good service." I tell them yes but so does PureTalk and explain how easy the process was. No one wants change, so I have yet to get someone to switch. They also don't want to take the time to do the switch. Every time I call in I get different information from each person I talk to. Issues take several calls before they are resolved. I had AT&T prior to Pure Talk but now my reception is worse even though Pure Talk uses AT&T towers. We requested International calling and every time I called was given different instructions and have yet to be able to get a call through. Even the prompts don't agree with instructions given by operators. Can't believe I get no paper bill or at least a text or email reminder! No other business I deal with doesn't give a bill! Think maybe more training for customer service would go a long way.

Every time you call this company, you get a real person. They aren't forced to stick to a script, they engage, they're helpful, positive, and the communication is so easy. I have hardly any cell service when I am roaming, I have called about this issue before but it wasn't resolved. When I am inside a building I have no cell service and in other parts of town I have no service when I would have had service with Verizon.

The Con.- Bringing your own phone can be problematic. According to the PureTalk website, me and my wife's phones (both unlocked) are supported. My Galaxy S10+ is at the latest available FW version. I opted to move my number first. Installed the SIM card. Received a transfer PIN from Verizon. The transfer went through in a few hours. Edited the APN information according to instructions. I could text, access the web when needed but I could not make any calls. I even enabled HD voice only. Still unable to make calls. A few back and forth emails with support went nowhere. Moving back to Verizon for now.

Every time I try to login there’s some sort of problem. One time I called for help and the very nice lady who helped me let me know I was already in my account and didn’t know it. I get good phone and internet service. I wish you would sell a portable hotspot device like Verizon does. I can get My email on the phone, but it is still too small to read, despite the big screen on the phone. When reading email, I still prefer my laptop.

So far we love PureTalk with the exception of retrieving voice mails. It would've been great to continue using the icon for on our phones. Also, sometimes the reminder of voice mails falls off so we miss those until later. Love the savings!

We used a different carrier for years. They kept increasing our rates so we decided to try Pure Talk. We needed an extender to get reception at home. Now we have much better reception for half the price. Customer service has been very helpful as well. What is not to like.

Not one person had a true idea what Pure Talk really needed in a phone to be transferred from Verizon. Customer service was told that I had two Verizon S-9's when I signed up. First I was told there was a porting problem. Then it was a locked phone problem. Then it was a Verizon phone problem. At that point I bought two S-9's for AT&T towers. That didn't fix the problems. FINALLY!!! Someone realized that pure talk only takes S-10's and newer. After I spent $352 on 2 / S-9's and then I was forced to buy 2 cheap pure talk phones at $400 plus I was without cell service for almost a month. When I complained to customer service and ask for a refund of service expense and a discount on the $400 dollars worth of phones. I was told it was my fault. Go pound salt.

I am in love with my Puretalk service. The reps are always so pleasant. Today I spoke with Arneisha to reset my voicemail. She moved so quickly but accurately. She knew what she was doing. I didn’t have to sit on the phone all day long. She also turned on my visual voicemail. That way I don’t have to call my voicemail each time. Arneisha was great! I highly recommend using puretalk. I switched one of my numbers to PureTalk because of Mark Levin's radio ad. If it weren't for Levin, I would not have switched. The ad promo at the time was Get the 2nd month of service free by mentioning Levin Podcast. I called two times for this issue alone. First time I was told "for some reason I can't explain, it takes another month", next month it didn't happen either. I demanded to talk to a supervisor and was told s/he will call me back in 24-48 hrs. It never happened. At this point I am very close to switching back to my old company.

Generally happy with the service. Our reception and signal where we live in Durango, Colorado is the same as we had with Verizon which isn't that great but we're paying half the amount per month. My biggest complaint is the voicemail. It's like going back 20 years. The voicemails do not come into our phones and we get no alert that we have a voicemail.

Call Samsung which referred me to you as our service provider. Informed Samsung that this used to be a simple control feature on earlier phones. Since we are usually unable to get to our incoming calls before they go to voicemail, and then make a return call, contacted Samsung since we have Galaxy phones and then contacted Pure Talk support. Folks were very pleasant at Pure Talk but the MMI codes given to us have not worked to extend our incoming ring time from about 15 seconds to maximum of 30 seconds.

I have trouble loading simple directions or sending imessages even with good signal. Yet I do struggle with finding good signal, even when in populated cities the signal is constantly poor or good back and forth. My wife refuses to come to my plan after seeing my service.
