    I don't understand why PureTalk would have an incompetent verification system. When I call in I'm asked my name. And when I'm asked to verify myself, I'm asked my name AGAIN. Why do I have to do this twice? The customer service rep said she couldn't sign me in unless I gave my name twice. What? It comes across as incompetent reps and company. I wish I had time in my life to do everything twice. I would like to know why Pure Talk would have an incompetent system that only frustrates their customers!

    I paid for service, got my sim card in the mail, gave PT all they need to exact my port from 1 carrier to them. Previous carrier had my info screwed up, so the port was delayed. Former carrier says they let go of my #. PT's website says my new acct has been activated, but it's not working!!!! To go back to the former carrier is a bitch! PT is a joke!!!!

    Before signing up for the service I was informed that my phone was completely compatible with the Pure Talk network. Once signing up I received the SIM card in 3 days. Placed in all required information and discontinued from my previous service provider. Now I have no service. Come to find out my phone is not compatible with Pure Talk and now I no longer have access to my original phone number. Only to be placed on hold forever with conversations that go nowhere. Now I'm out of a phone. Borrowing other people phones to make calls. Plus all my accounts ask for 2nd strap authentication thru my phone number. This company is fraudulent and should be held liable for the situation that they have placed me in. Stay clear from this headache of a start up company.

    Mobile experience in my area is spotty. Voice is sometimes clear and sometimes spotty. I bought Mexico package which did not work even after wasting an hour with customer service. Some aspects need improvement. Price is comparable with other providers but service availability is not. International process should be streamlined.

    Customer service is excellent. However, my mobile coverage is 5-7 out of 10 ~ depending on where I'm located on my property. My previous carrier was worse and had no solutions, so perhaps it's unfair to compare to them. Also, some have suggested that since I live in a busy tourist area the towers are overloaded with users and it's affecting my service. I don't know about this.

    We have not been able to receive the internet on our phones since installation. We have spent hours trying to get it. We have access on our computer. We were promise that we would not have to change our Internet access. Our sbcgloal.net log in address seems to be a problem that no one can solve. Please help us.     I love the service for 2 main reasons. 1) When I need assistance and call them a real person answers, one I can understand, that speaks fluent English! 2) I am not supporting a woke corporation who gives money to horrible "causes".     When I signed up it said electronic billing. I assumed I would receive an emailed bill each month before the money was automatically deducted each month. Boy was I wrong. And when I called customer service to inquire about this I was treated rudely and in a condescending tone was informed that this was 2023 and this is the way business was conducted now. The inference was that since I was a senior citizen, I didn't understand how things worked today. The irony is that all other electronic billing that I am involved with all send me an invoice (electronically) before taking my money. And they don't make disrespectful remarks when I deal with them. I hope I am right in assuming I just got a rude employee and it is not company policy to treat your customers this way.

    When I first switched to PureTalk, I was a little nervous about call quality and data coverage, mainly because the company doesn't have the name recognition of other large mobile providers and due to the somewhat remote location of my house and work.     Like the price but was given misinformation. Initially told I could keep my phone but only when I had discontinued service from Spectrum was told that I had to purchase a new phone to access your service… admit it has left a sour taste in my mouth and other issues need attention to receive my full approval. As to present service, I keep getting complaints that my speaking is garbled and not understood and the connections drop in the middle of a call. Intermittent not constant.

    We listened to ads for months about Pure Talk but just blew it off. Finally, after several price increases and lack of service from Verizon we decided to check into Pure Talk and made the switch. We discovered that the price was almost 50% less than Verizon. We had concerns about having coverage at our summer house as Verizon coverage was always sketchy but much to our surprise service was better from Pure Talk. We are saving $80 per month and the service and coverage is as good or better than Verizon.

    I'm sorry to say at this point I am not super happy with Puretalk. I love the affordable pricing but I do not love the service I am getting. If I'm texting it goes back numerous times and have to get my text page back. Also 20 percent of my messages come up "failed," especially if sending a picture attached so not sure what's going on. I had Verizon forever but it got too expensive so changed over to Puretalk. Also can't get on internet to look things up which is frustrating so any ideas as to why and maybe what I need to do to fix these issues would be appreciated.

    Have called several times to try to get phone to fully function i.e. being able to use Google maps, search etc. Can make phone calls and text that's about it. Will probably be switching carriers.     I should make it clear from the start, I am only speaking of Puretalk's support. I signed on to Puretalk to dump a woke company and save a little bit of money, the money being a minor point for switching. Getting statements is important for me for the tax records and since Puretalk is strictly paperless it's essential that I go online to acquire those statements. To start, I spent several hours trying to set up an account and finally ended up at customer service which also failed. At the end of the cs session she opened a support ticket and told me that I would get a call from them.

    Weeks later, no call. I placed another call to customer service and this time was advised that they don't have the ability to reset an account. What? They can't reset an account that I was never able to set up? And, they can't respond to the support ticket to tell me that? Pathetic! We eventually used a different email address with success. Today I went online to retrieve my statement and could not access my account. I was using Chrome and am behind a VPN. Eventually, using Edge and disabling my VPN I was able to access my account and print my statement. (that in itself was cumbersome) I then tried to email support with a brief synopsis of my trouble so that they could pass it along to IT.

    My thought was that they are relatively new and may need to work some bugs out. Tech support email is structured for certain issues and if you don't fit within a certain box you're not going anywhere. Again, pathetic! It's like they want to screen you out and not have to work with you. Finally, let me reiterate - The service has been working and I have no criticisms other than one minor issue that I may try to address when I have a couple of hours to commit. Also, it's entirely possible that, being new, they need to grow into and past these deficiencies but they are not there yet.

    Hello. I was a Cricket subscriber for over 12 years. I must say that my current coverage is at least as good as it has been over the past 12+years.     This company has been a nightmare in terms of its customer support. If you want to port out of Puretalk, they make it so difficult. I have only successfully ported 1 number away from Puretalk. But had to call. Recently I tried porting my wife's number out of Puretalk and it's been a run around nightmare with Puretalk refusing to release the number. I have called into customer service 7 times and gotten nowhere. WORSE, their support seems to be fully remote, always some random person who sounds like it's their first day on the job. Many who are just RUDE and seem like you are just a burden. On top of that, the service has been terrible overall. I have the same data plan I had on verizon, yet somehow on Puretalk, we blow through our data. But not on Verizon, and my phone is on wifi the majority of the day. STAY AWAY.

    To be straight, I'm very disappointed as after several calls with your team they are unable to keep my Visual Voicemail operational on the new Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra that I purchased from you. Your team claims it's an issue with the android platform. Yet when I call Samsung about this issue that do not concur with your team's assessment. I have two people with the same phone on AT&T that have no issue with their visual voicemail. I came over from AT&T with great coverage. Since joining your network I've dropped many calls and text messages don't arrive sometimes for 6-12 hours later. Given that this very basic service is not being fixed by your team, I can't honestly recommend your company to others.

    Our Pure Talk has been up and running for about two months now. It was extremely easy to set up and the people we talked to on the phone were extremely helpful in answering all of our questions. And probably one of the nicest features is that it’s coming from a company that doesn’t buy into the woke mentality. - that so many other cell phone providers have gone to. We support our country and conservative values just like Pure talk. I guess I would say you should support companies that support your values and not the companies that constantly donate to liberal progressive policies and ideology.     I bought my phone in cash. The account told me I owed nothing after cancellation. The customer service made it difficult to cancel… and now I get a random transaction for 3 times the amount of my bill when I was with Pure Talk. I will be reporting this as fraud as I received no notice or invoice for any amount owed and if they contacted me. They did a terrible job. NEVER support this company. They WILL steal from you. I expect that transaction justified legitimately or for it to be removed.     I had requested help with transferring my service, and I did not receive the tool I had been promised.     When our daughter turned 13, the clamor for a cell phone was becoming deafening. My wife and I finally caved.     These guys claim to be veteran owned and one of the best affiliates on the planet. THEY ARE NOT! Worst company you can possibly deal with. They told me that I would just have to get used to terrible service even though I was in the middle of their 5G service area. I talked to them 30 times in 1 day and the conclusion was that I just lived in a 5G area, that doesn't mean I get service....according to them. Then, after they sold me the hot spot plan, they told me that with android phones the hot spot is not guaranteed to work!     I ordered a SIM card and paid for $9.99 for 2-day delivery. Tier 1 Support is terrible and the company does not honor or refund money paid to get an order delivered under their 2-day delivery option after taking 5 days to deliver. So I am supposed to pay for a month of service and pay extra for 2-day delivery while not being able to actually use the service for at least 5 days. I spent around 45 minutes with three different Tier 1 Support people.

    Person 1 could not manage to get their headset to work after about a minute of messing around with it and then dropped the call. Person 2 was rude; told me that I needed to talk to FedEx about a $9.99 two-day delivery charge that I paid to PureTalk (not to FedEx) after she told that 3 days after my order was placed, the items had still not been shipped; did not want to get a supervisor on the call after I asked for such; then dropped the call while supposedly trying to get a supervisor on the call.

    Person 3 refused to get a supervisor on the line without asking me about 20 questions as to why I wanted to speak with a supervisor and then put me on hold three times for over 15 cumulative minutes trying to unsuccessfully get a supervisor on the line and refused to refund my $9.99 2-day delivery charge. She then told me that she created a ticket and I would hear back from a supervisor in 24-48 hours. I requested cancellation of the order for a third line and the SIM; and my second line with them but she only managed to drop the order for the third line and SIM.

    I am cancelling the second line myself online and will replace my last remaining line soon. I recommend not doing business with these script-reading incompetent reps who are either a) not equipped to actually field calls b) instructed not to escalate calls or get supervisors on the line c) will not do so in order to cover their asses or d) are not able to get a supervisor on the line because they the supervisors are either a) spread too thin, b) refusing to help or c) are AWOL from their work while being reached out to by their subordinates. The company does what it can to avoid having a person answer your call and if you do get a person, it will likely be a script reader ill-equipped to do much of anything.

    I don't know if I really answered the question. When I switched to Puretalk, I lost my 5G coverage. According to the maps and the PureTalk site it should work, but doesn't. I didn't know I had an order number to put with the review. I did send a message to PureTalk about my 5G coverage and got a canned answer. The audio customer service has been great and the message support works some of the time. I did get my visual voicemail activated using message support. I'm paying about half of my previous carrier and I had an affinity discount on my previous carrier as well.

    During recent travels, I noted that calls were not easily made when outside the local territory. We were in CA and the CO. We also had issues with using our text messaging service for sending files. This was eventually solved by connecting to a local free WIFI service. The good news is that I use a VPN as part of my security setup, but, if not, I would be concerned about the security of my data when connected to these WIFI services. The initial setup transitioning from Verizon to Pure Talk was very difficult and not very clear as well.

    The phone and text work fine. However the data is extremely, frustratingly, obnoxiously slow when using audio streaming or maps or internet. There are times when you are searching for a location on maps and it just goes blank. When listening to Pandora or a Podcast while driving it will stop for 5 to 20 minutes and then start again. If you stop for gas if probably won't start streaming again.

    This is before we have used up our primary Data plan. After that is slows down to a complete stop. There is no way I would buy a larger data plan because it's so slow and spotty. Debating on what other provider to switch to. The Pro, it costs less. But... see above.

    I am not happy with your international call options. In addition, when I exceeded my 4 gig data limit this month, it seemed to affect my call reliability, with dropped calls and notably weaker reception than my Verizon Business phone. Lastly, I am absolutely inundated with spam calls. I signed up for the National Do Not Call Registry but it did little to help. I would you suggest you develop a junk call app like the major carriers have.

    Signal strength is variable and often weak even within the small confines of my home. I have had calls drop while moving from one room to another or even by simply moving the phone from one hand to the other. This low signal strength has negatively impacted my battery life.     My wife is unhappy that when she is talking on her cell phone she often can not hear the other party, or they can not hear her unless she gets up and moves to another part of the house. She also reports that she often gets poor reception - the audio quality is poor. She also complains of dropped calls. I don't seem to have many of these problems. All cell phone service is subject to occasional breaking up or dropped calls. Pure Talk seems to me to be about average.

    My wife and I have friends in Canada and travel there. To get service when you travel there is possible and not that difficult but the $10 charge and the time limit are not that user friendly. If we want to call Canada from the US, now that’s a workout, not user friendly and expensive. Verizon has a North American plan and you should too. Lastly, you use ATT towers here and their service coverage in my area is not good. Verizon is much better. I actually don’t know of any local people that use ATT in my area. From your ads on the radio it sounds like you use them in some places and I would recommend them here in the 59044 zip code area. Also, when I lose connection to the ATT tower my phone goes into “SOS” mode and the only way to reconnect is to turn my phone on and off. Never had this problem with Verizon.

    We started with PureTalk just last month. The representative told us that we would receive a $20 referral credit after 30 days of service. Yesterday was the day our bill was to automatically renew and the auto payment was more than we were initially expecting to pay! I called their customer service and advised them of what we were told by their representative. After waiting for over 30 minutes for the “supervisor” Shalene, she rudely advised me I couldn’t have possibly been told that because it’s only after the 2nd month of usage we would get the $20 referral credit. Well I told her to pull the call since they’re recorded because their representative MOST DEFINITELY told us it was after 30 days we would receive the credit! She advised she would listen to the call and contact me within a hour.

    After a hour passed “Shalene the supervisor” called back & surprise surprise she heard their Representative state in the call we would get our $20 credit within 30 days!!! I asked if they could honor what we were told since we are on a fixed income but she advised me all she could do was “offer an apology because we should know what our bill is every month”?!? Like I said this was our FIRST MONTH with this company and already they have already shown they don’t care about their customers or being customer service friendly when it’s a mistake ON THEIR END!!!

    Sometimes my phone stops working and the recording says I have ran out of minutes, and my phone conversation is cut off. When I call in the agent says "she has Metro PCS and it happens to her all the time, just live with it, it's no big deal, it can easily be restored". I feel that she was very rude, because I explained to her that I have unlimited Talk & Text with auto pay. Also my phone has a delay with my devices, like my security cameras, if there's motion detected, it take at least 5 minutes before I'm alerted, and sometimes more.

    Why am I unable to make #250 calls? I called customer service several times and got some surprising responses. Most of the time they said they had no idea what #250 calls were!! That seems very surprising since cell phone service is your company's business. One person in customer service tried to get me to update my Apple ios in order to make a #250 call.     The set up included putting in a battery. In doing so the connector broke. The phone company would not replace the phone I had to buy another one. So after much hassling back and forth, I taped the connector in place and inserted the battery. Still working today but come on... Phone messaging is also a hassle, no quick and easy way to retrieve a new message. Texting takes a lot of strokes. When I open the phone the time that is indicated in big numbers is the time when I last used the phone. It takes at least ten seconds for the phone to catch up to the current time.

    We have had Pure Talk for a few months now. We had AT&T before so price is great. But with that comes sacrifice. Although Pure Talk is advertised as "same network as at&t", it's just not true.     I am happy with PureTalk except it doesn’t seem to has the same signal strength. I have found several places I go to frequently (like a medical office) where I can’t call from inside the building. I have to go outside. When I had my other carrier (AT&T) I never had to do that. It happens at other places too. So while you may have the same coverage, I don’t feel you have the same signal strength.

    Signed up a while ago and all was good. Now past two months I’m being told phone doesn’t work because I went over my GB usage. I have been doing the same with my phone for over a year, and now a week before bill renews, my phone almost shuts down. Can’t get online. Can’t use apps. I download nothing nor do I watch tv or play games on my phone so how do I now all of a sudden go thru my GB? I was told I needed to buy more GB for $20 more. Heard that a few times but every time I call I get a different answer or they can’t help me. Once, I was told if I pay the additional $20 it won’t do me any good as that is for people who have less than 60 GB on their phone. So my phone is only good to use 3 out of 4 weeks a month now. Time to find another phone service. Do not use this company if you want to use your phone daily. Total rip off.

    Overall, Pure Talk has been good. I have noticed that my service isn't great in my primary locations (Home and work). I have received voicemails without missed calls or the phone ringing. I have also had my text messages not received. Although, not always critical, I do use my phone for business. That being said, some missed calls and texts can be costly. They didn't tell me that ahead of time, so that was a bummer.     Even if I wanted to upgrade my phone the PureTalk available phone are extremely overpriced especially as a retired teacher on a fixed income. So as a result, my wife and I do have an internet connection except when my wife and I are connected to Wi-Fi. Which is why I downsized my phone plan even though I pay for data. Every time I talked to customer service all they want to do is blame all phone problems on Android v10 based on the script they are given and that the phone could die at any time. My phone is not that old. In closing one of the customer service reps was trying to take care of her children while talking to me. I could hear them in the background. Thanks for listening.

    We have talked with customer service about slow service accessing internet away from wifi. Podcasts stopping randomly and won't restart, and accessing email slow at times. Not much improvement after customer service suggestions. Phone service is fine and price is much cheaper but we are considering going to another provider due to this problem.

    Signal = as good as Verizon. Service = as good as Verizon. Price = Way better!... than Verizon. My only reservation was during the transition. I went to the PureTalk web site and entered my IMEI number of the flip phone I had. I received a confirmation that my old flip phone was compatible with the PureTalk network. After I got my PureTalk SIM card I put it in my Verizon Orbic Journey V. My flip phone informed me that I didn't have a Verizon SIM card installed. It attempted to connect it to the PureTalk network, and it couldn't.

    I called PureTalk with my dad's phone. I was told that my phone wasn't compatible. I told the representative that the PureTalk website said it was. He tried to connect me to tech support. While on hold I chose to hang up and do additional online research. My choice. I was informed that the 3G network was being phased out at the end of 2022 and that my phone was on that list. According to Verizon, my flip phone is a 4G phone. No matter what I did, my Verizon flip phone wouldn't connect to the PureTalk's network. I gave up on it, and got a SMART phone through PureTalk, and am very happy with it. So... 'If I'm happy with it, why the complaint?' Because I was told that my flip phone, again 4G, would work. Then it didn't. I was without a phone for a week.

    On top of that: Verizon tried to get me to come back to them by offering me a deal on the exact same model of flip phone that I already had... Which is still compatible with the Verizon network. I strongly believe that my Verizon flip phone has software installed in it that will only allow it to work on the Verizon network. Can I prove it? No. In summary: I had a Verizon Orbic Journey V through Verizon. The IEMI number was considered good via the PureTalk website, and it will NOT accept the PureTalk SIM card. Overall, am I happy with my PureTalk service, and the price point? Absolutely. The forced up-grade was a blessing in disguise.

    Upon having switched to 5G and ordering a new phone from Puretalk a year ago... I found that the phone was defective. It did not ring when people called or texted me, nor did the number show up on the phone so I didn't even know they had tried. It rang on their end though, and when I called the customer service department SEVERAL times I received SEVERAL different answers as to WHY this was happening. Even their IT dept. tried to reach me and again the phone has never rung nor did their number show up. BUT, NOBODY put in a defective phone ticket to send me a new phone and NOW I am told that that phone is too old and I should just pay for a new one.

    My monthly bill has also gone up to over $23 and the answer I am given for that, is "because taxes have gone up" which is absurd!! Their customer service and IT dept. are lousy and the wait time to get someone on the line is beyond belief and MUCH too long. I will, unfortunately, be forced to go back to the carrier I had before and pay a much higher monthly cost. I am a VETERAN,as well as the owner of this company makes such a big deal out of in his radio ads, but HE needs to do SOMETHING about his company's service besides sit back and collect the money.

    With my other carrier. I had a flat rate. No taxes, no late FEES. I received a message on the due date that I was already late. And in the billing, it showed a late fee. This is unacceptable. Service is not as fast as I was led to believe. Streaming sucks. I tried PT once before over a year ago. And had major issues with them. Was told I could tether. But, couldn't. Then told I needed to buy one of their iPhones. I DO NOT like iPhones, period!!! So I decided to to go back to my old carrier. It ended up costing me almost 300.00 to get my number back from PT. So, I have decided once again to try PT. Because, I wanted to get away from the big companies that support the leftist agenda. And the fact that Gallagher, Hennedy, Gorka and many others are pushing this company hard. I should have known better. I am really thinking of going back to Metro. A real pay as you go company.

    I ordered two phones at a bad time due to my son was killed in an auto accident, three months later my truck was totaled & I was injured, so I lost track of time & couldn't immediately return the faulty phones. One sim card had a bump on it & wouldn't work. I was sent another sim card (more time). I don't have wifi in my house. I didn't know these required wifi to work. I was finally able to go to McD parking lot with free wifi & try to get the phones to work. Neither would update, even with customer service on the line. In tears, & overwhelmed w the defective phones I finally asked for my number to be ported back to Verizon, this was also extremely hard to accomplish. I boxed up & returned both phones with a letter of explanation. I was never refunded for the phones, or the months of charges for phones I could never use, that never worked. It's the worst phone experience I've ever had. And the most costly waste of money for absolutely nothing.

    My contacts were confused; my messages were sent to my phone calls. The first sim I received didn’t work and it was another week before I received the right one and I had no phone. My notifications come the day AFTER the event. I wasn’t told about the fact if you had a Verizon phone, it wouldn’t work on AT&T lines. I had to finally stumble on that in the fine print!! My voicemail didn’t and still doesn’t work: says my mailbox isn’t set up! It always worked before. The only positive I can offer is the price and the No-contract. AND the fact that Adora, the rep with whom I dealt, went the extra mile.

    We where happy at 1st to change over to PureTalk as the price was a lot better than our previous carrier. But after a short period of time everyone in the household started to complain about the service that just didn't work very good. Another problem is that instead of sending and invoice with email they just send an email and text stating cancelation. This is super annoying! When we call the last 3 months in a row we get a different answer as to how to fix this. We will be changing companies. Thank you. Brian **.

    The phone service is great. But the ads are just Horrible and there's no way to get rid of them other than having to go ad free. And I'm not going to do this. Hate to stay. But I've never had this problem before.
