I get a lot of dropped calls. I have to reboot all the time. I have noticed that in my time with your company I have lost cell numbers and emails. Not at all happy about this... Not sure I will stay with PureTalk nor am I sure I will recommend it to others.

We have been with PureTalk for about 3 or 4 years and have never had a reason to switch to something else. They are the most "bang for your buck," and have always had excellent customer service whenever we have called with an issue or question. We highly recommend PureTalk to anyone who asks, and only wish they had better basic phone options for those who are not interested in smart phones.

I am happy with the price of service. I do wish that there was better coverage where I take my family camping. My son has AT&T for his service & has full service in the area. I thought that I was working off of AT&T towers. I did have to send my phone in for service at the beginning of using Pure Talk & was without a phone for 10 days. While at home, service has been good. For basic service, I would recommend.

Service is okay, but the phone is really hard to use. This Nokia tells me I have voicemail, but I cannot access it. I've had a couple of young people try and they can't make it work either. Tiny buttons are hard for arthritic fingers. I wish you had a simple "geezer" phone like a Jitterbug.

The price and service are very good. I was with AT&T before so I was able to bring 2 phones with me. To my surprise I got better connectivity on both phones using the same towers after switching! That was a bonus for sure. I got a third line and I am paying less than half per month than for two lines before switching. If you prioritize service and cost, check out Puretalk. You just might be surprised.

I love the cost and that my bill will not change from month to month. Also, many countries have been added to the text and call list free of charge! I recently used it successfully in Mexico. My only small issue is that I have some areas of little or no coverage while traveling. But when it works, it works well!

This is the crappiest phone company I have ever had!!!! It took THREE WEEKS before we had SERVICE!!!! REFUND PLEASE!!! NOT FUN TO WORK WITH. APPARENTLY UNABLE TO HELP ME, THE FOLKS DID A LOUSY JOB. HIRE SOME NEW HELP. Angry would not describe the way I feel. I was taught to think. Apparently your workers were not. Do yourself a favor, hire home schooled folks who can figure out problems.

I've been very happy with Puretalk. I love the price, how features have been steadily getting better, and customer service has been fine every time I've needed it. My biggest issue is that I can't respond to group texts greater than 10 with an Android phone. iMessage seems to get around the restriction. I've called a few times and I don't believe a solution is on the horizon. Why the ridiculous restriction? We now have better ways of preventing spam messaging.

Service was fine, the only problem I had was you didn't Have enough phones available. I need a new phone, The Availability was poor, You charge more for phones for existing customers than for new customers. I never got a phone from you to begin with, So I should have been given a lower price. I was not. So I switched carriers. The Carrier I picked. Is half the price I was paying you.

I went out to Arizona last month. Did not have any internet service in eastern Colorado, nor New Mexico and eastern Arizona. Your claim of complete coverage was not my experience. I am considering a different service. What is your response? I have more words to use but do not think you would like to hear them.

I can't receive or send pictures in message or emails. I can't participate in group messages or emails. Why is that???? I get failed emails and a window in message that won't open. I don't know what else to say because that's all the problem there is but it is annoying!

I used to have Verizon but switched to PureTalk when I heard I would have the same coverage for much less $ a month. It’s fine in town but in more rural areas where I used to have ok service I now have none. But for the price I’ve decided to remain with puretalk.

Mostly good, but less than ideal at times. I've been a PT customer for a lot of years, and I have stayed, because when I do have to reach out to customer service, I always get a human and the experience doesn't make me want to scream or cry. Having said that, sometimes there are annoying glitches that just don't go away easily. With unlimited calls and texts there should never be a time that the phone says you don't have minutes for a call, but it has happened to all of us. I have been given the reason several times, but that should just not happen, and being unable to make a call because the system thinks that I have already used my multi-thousands of minutes it thinks I have is no good. And, if that happens on a weekend I am really in a spot, because CS has only weekday hours. This used to happen to my daughter all the time. It always has required a call into your CS department to fix it.
Sometimes we are the only people around with lousy coverage, and that can be pretty frustrating as well. Recently I needed CS and had hoped to do an online chat for the issue, but that is no longer an option. I hate calling companies, and will always first look for online troubleshooting or chat help, but all your webpage does now is sell. That's a change that seems like it's for the worse.
All in all, you still have us, because the price is so good and because your CS doesn't make us want to give up. I have family that have been using a different no contract service for quite a while, and they are happy. I decided to answer the review request email, because I don't hate PureTalk, and I would like to give you a chance to keep me. Thanks for asking.

I have no issues with PureTalk service, it is excellent. Great value and good coverage at a reasonable price. The rating is for the website which you must accept cookies to log in to see your account. I have to agree to have my information sold off to a 3rd party to view my account online. I find that unacceptable as I am already paying for the service so why do you not give me a choice to check my account online without selling my info? I find that sad.

The service is ok but we would rather not be paying the Verizon! Another thing is that pure talk was offering new customers a much better deal than we ever had been offered. They would get a new phone and unlimited data for the same price we are paying for a lot less! That's a bummer!

I don’t have an issue with the service. However, one time my payment did not go through because the expiration date needed to be updated. I received an email telling me my service would be cut off within 24 hours. Seems like a petty way to harass customers for payment.

What do I have to do to get my military discount? And where I live the phone has no service. I have to use Wi-Fi calling. I have one bar at home. Need more...my old phone service worked perfectly so this means to me you don't use all towers. What do I need to do to get this company to use all towers like advertised?

It would be nice If existing customers could get the same deals on new phones that new customers receive. Also when setting up a new phone it would be nice to have someone from customer service walk you through the process. I am quite happy with PureTalk but I am considering going to ** only because I can go to Target, get a new phone, and have them set it up.

Overall, very happy with the service. Price is the best I've been able to find. Any issues with service have been AT&T wide, not with Puretalk as an MVNO. I do wish you had a talk/text only (with no data) plan though. We'd like to add a basic phone to our plan for children to take and $20/mo seems a bit much for such basic service and our minimal need.

I’m seriously considering canceling My service with Puretalk, due to ever increasing cost. When I transferred My phone service from AT&T, in late 2017, on reviews by Rush Limbaugh now deceased. My cost for the service was approximately $30.00. Now it’s almost $40.00. ** the phone services offered by Walmart and now Mint, are viable options. That’s My review….

I have always had a good experience with customer service and the signal strength has improved since I first signed up for phone service. My wife cancelled her Verizon plan and joined PureTalk. Our total cost per month is less than her monthly cost for Verizon. We would definitely recommend Pure Talk.

Your service, when At&T is working, is satisfactory. There are quite a few "dead spots" here in central MA that makes having a conversation difficult. But that's the network. I'm not sure what part of my phone experience is Pure Talk. I do know that my $25 a month is creeping higher. It is now $28.52 a month.

My overall experience is positive with PureTalk. I switched to PureTalk for their conservative values and for the cost savings in which was delivered. As far as room for improvement goes, the reliability can be improved. At times my whole family has experienced calls not going through on the first attempt or two, weak call signals and delayed text messages.

I took a chance on getting away from the big phone carriers for a reduced price. I am glad I did. I have had a great experience. I had a little hiccup in getting started with an old phone (S5). Updated on 03/12/2024: Second call on this problem. Spoke to Tory and we seemed to get the problem resolved though I had gotten this same problem "resolved" 3 days earlier. The phone worked for 3 days and then failed again. After going through her procedure and the phone was sending texts again, Tory asked if I had any questions. I said yes. 1) Why did this happen again? 2) Why does my phone say 5G but my wife's doesn't. Tory said "One minute while I check that" and put me on hold. When someone picked up my call again, it was someone else. In other words, Tory just got rid of me instead of try to answer my questions.
Original Review: My phone would not receive or send texts to some numbers and would not call some numbers. The service department got my phone to where I could call those numbers again and the texts that did not go through earlier now went through. However, the problem started reoccurring again yesterday.

While generally happy with our service with Pure Talk, I have found the use of Pure Talk from Mexico to be less than great, and the language chosen to describe the service, difficult to understand. Surely there is a way to just have the same service from our neighboring country that we enjoy in the US.

Many times I have experienced full bars and no connectivity with a brand new iPhone. It’s annoying that I have to basically use my phone on Wi-Fi all the time for it to be useful whenever I’m out in public, hoping to use the data. The data is slow and basically useless.

Often get call ended when I try to make a call, then I have to reset my phone by turning it off. People complain when I am on speaker phone that they can hear themselves talk and that they can hardly hear me. Even when I am not on speaker lately People say I am faint. Service has been overall okay. Not amazing, not bad. Slow data speeds are frequent. My international roaming package hardly worked at all while abroad and I would consider that add on a waste of money.

While I have enjoyed being a Pure Talk customer, and while I appreciate being able to make a call (from the USA) to more than 33 countries, I am DISAPPOINTED that I cannot purchase a plan from Pure Talk that allows me to go outside of the USA (to Europe) and make calls internationally (within Europe). I will have to purchase a Google Fi Plan for a month, OR I will have to switch my cell phone service back to ATT and purchase their International Call Plan (like I did before coming over to Pure Talk).

Loved your service and would love to come back IF you would add HOME WIFI for internet service. Cable and satellite services are way too high and most people are opting out because they cannot afford it. So, they are turning to the alternate - internet tv. If I purchase a new cell phone through PureTalk how do I get my pictures, data etc moved over to the new device? I am interested in updating to a new phone but don't see a pathway to accomplish this task. Otherwise the service and connectivity if reliable and seamless. I appreciate Pure Talk.

Basically satisfied but I don't think the 5g data for 20 plan is enough based on other plans. I had to use data waiting a new equipment for WiFi. In 2 days of small usage ate the data up. Even though you increased to 3 gig my phone only shows 2 gig. I have never used all data but in emergency it would be good to have fast service. I definitely notice a lag.

High-speed data will be refilled on the next billing date, provided billing is successful. I love the price, and it is great knowing I’m supporting a honest company. However, phone calls get dropped, phone goes into SOS mode in and out throughout day. Don't get any service in room unless I’m leaning against the outside wall (which could or could not be the service). However, all this never happened with Verizon. Unfortunately, I may have to go back to them in time if service keeps cutting out.

Your service is great, however, when I wanted to order a new phone I was told that the discount was only offered to new customers!!! Hey what about the customer that’s been with you for years??? When I first became a customer, I was allotted hot spot capability. I occasionally needed it then for emergencies. It has been taken away. That's cheezy cheap. The reason for its use was if I needed mapping or some other info on a larger screen like a tablet, never abused. That's what being a long term customer gets for me.

Cell reception is decent but not robust. Texts do not always arrive on time but are sometimes late or not delivered until several minutes (up to 15 minutes) after they are sent. This has been my only complaint. The price has been good but the main carriers are starting to match the price with better connectivity so it debated as to whether or not to stick with PureTalk.

My only disappointment is that I don’t get any notifications about voicemails. The service has been as good as Verizon, only one major service outage and that was AT&T nationwide failure. The price is excellent and the few times that I called customer service were positive. I have been a customer for about four years and I have recommended Pure Talk to friends and family.

I received an email from you telling me there was a problem with processing my monthly payment. When I called your customer service, I was told that my credit card was invalid because it had expired. Indeed I had recently received an updated card, but hadn’t realized I was supposed to inform you. Your customer service person said that I would be charged a one time service fee to reinstate my account, or I could just wait to see if the new card information would work this time. I told her I am a longtime customer and asked why you all didn’t just contact me and ask about the credit card update, and that you shouldn’t be charging me any extra fees. She was nice but unsympathetic, saying they were trying to keep me from having my service cut off. I never heard back about whether the payment went through so I called and your customer service rep said that it had. I asked why didn’t you send me an email telling me so. He didn’t know.

I appreciated the idea of the operation at PureTalk. They did give good customer service and while I was in the area of large cities had great cell service at a reasonable rate for the occasional use we needed it for. However, when I go south to the other house, the only cell tower system available is Verizon. I had already known AT&T didn't provide service there, but they had stated it would work anywhere. Well, they were wrong and we didn't have cell service while down there. I went to Walmart and switched that phone over to the Tracfone system which IS on the Verizon towers. I would much prefer dealing with PureTalk, but contact with emergency services is why the cell phone is needed, and will stay for the time being with Tracfone.

I have had an awesome experience with Pure Talk so far. The only draw back is when the Nation went down and we had NO service due to ATT'S towers, This was NOT fun at all. Yet it did show us that we need some other means of communications and decide if we even need cell phones.

I have absolutely loved working with PureTalk. My only complaint is when I switched to unlimited data, the person I was talking to could not get me a better deal. Unlimited is quite expensive in comparison to other networks. I truly believe that the business is top class. Every time I have called in the customer service has been excellent! Customer service is outstanding. Anytime I call I am able to get answers right away and I am speaking to someone in the US. The coverage however is on the Ok side. I use a lot of data because I work outside and not near a WiFi connection. At the end of the billing period I get throttled way down. Also my voicemail does not always come through right when it is left. One last thing, I tried using one of the robo call blockers and it does not work well with PureTalk. You can only set it to block numbers that aren't in your phone. At an another carrier it worked so much better blocking know scammers or unsolicited calls.

I have always had service wherever I have gone with PureTalk throughout the country. Friends who had Verizon had NO SERVICE. With Pure Talk, I always had service inside or outside a building. I always tell them that I have Pure Talk and they need to switch to Pure Talk.

I was very reluctant to make a change from AT&T. I'd been with them for 25 years plus, First as Bell South Mobility, then Cingular and then AT&T. I have had very few issues with Pure Talk. When I did call for help I have found everyone to be efficient, professional, knowledgeable and helpful.

In my area cell phone service is typically weak at best. I switched to PureTalk to give it a try figuring that at least I would be able to use WiFi calling if the regular service didn't work. Unfortunately even after customer service made several attempts to help me with this, my Moto G 5g phone would not work with WiFi calling and I chose to discontinue my service at that point.

Approximately six weeks ago, I was sent an e-vite via my cell phone number. It never arrived. Are you screening out probable spam transmissions? On January 24, 2024 at 10:27 AM, I received an invalid number message from your system regarding a text message that I had sent to a contact. The number displayed in the error message text was the actual number from my contact list with a "1" on the front meaning to me USA country code. The error message "To:" field displayed +1 (1) (216) 116-11, not the contact's name or number. What is this? What happened here?

We switched to PureTalk the summer of '23 because AT&T costs had been prohibitive for a long time. The switch was pretty seamless and the reception didn't change. Only hiccup was my husband's phone has to be restarted every time he moves around, but we think that is due to download fail. Although I have to restart my phone when going between cell towers as well. Overall, I am very happy with the service and especially the cost as we are both retired!

My experience has been awesome. I’ve never had such strong service for so affordable. If I could offer a suggestion to allow ease of access, maybe create an app for customers to sign in and access their accounts much easier than using the website. I say that because so many other services have apps of their own, and they enable ease of access to the services, or just their accounts.

Not the greatest signal, almost no service when indoors. Also, doesn't really seem like it is running on 5g when it says it is. Call connections are also off when indoors or under cover. I either can't be heard or I am told I sound like a robot. It clears up if I walk outside.

We live in a hard to get service area, and where landline is now history. We had reasonable cell service when the former provider had 4G service, but when they went to 5G, we lost out!!! We tried PT on my wife's phone for couple of weeks to test service. Didn't take me long to figure out that is was an excellent option for me as well!!!! I get service on our property where formerly I did not, too. And the price -- well, it speaks for itself!!!

About 2 or more years ago I had the above phone number and Pure Talk cancel my phone number, because I did not response to an email until later. I called and your representative told me I was too late. I tried to explain to her I did not get the email until later.. This cause me to lose over 3,000 or more minutes. I was save my minutes, because one of elderly parents live in an area where Pure Talk worked better than other carriers. I would like speak to someone in your company that had the authority to give me get my minutes back.

1. Many area in which I work are remote; NW & N central North Dakota; Wyoming; NE Montana; and S central Colorado. I have no reception there. I was told you use AT&T towers which my colleagues with them have no service at those locations either. Before I changed to your service, I used Verizon and their service was good in all those locations. Hence your ads are misinformation re: "We use all the big guys towers". Disappointing.
2. Annoying when I get a message that I have to use the area code for a number that previously went through without it; in my own home town. I don't want to go back to Verizon but I need dependable service. Otherwise, I am generally well satisfied.

Have had PureTalk (PT) for about a year. Great for that time. However, on Feb 11 (2024), my phone would not connect to the PT data network. I don't know if it is related or not but the day before I had used my phone as a hotspot as my home internet (Comcast) was down and I needed the internet to work. (Did I surpass some limit I'm unaware of and they shut me down?) In checking my PT account, my phone hotspot use is at <50% of its max. So it shouldn't affect anything... Anyway, I spent several hours on the phone with several different PT tech support staff.
All of them had me repeat the same steps over and over: remove/readd SIM and the AP settings, reset, etc... over and over. No use. Finally ordered a new sim which arrived about a week later (not 3 days as stated). By this time, it's been 2 weeks of no service. Fast foward to the day the AT&T network had its big outage. When that came back up, so did my phone (I did not touch any settings or install the new SIM). It worked fine for 2 days; it is now back down again and won't connect. I love PT's concept and hate to but will be switching back to T-Mobile. Fed up.

So far the service is good. The only thing I do notice with the WiFi is, I have to update when I go to other areas outside my house. I also love is the difference in the price of my bill every month. This is a huge difference. I recommend you company to everyone looking for a good service.

The flip phone we purchased for $50 is very hard to program & figure out the settings. It is not very user friendly. Also, we don't know if it is the phone or your network but the reception is terrible. Everyone we talk to says they hear static when we are talking to them. We don't hear the static, they do.

After switching to Pure Talk, I have the exact same coverage, if not better, the mms and sms have no issues, and I can game as long as my battery lasts! I pay a lot less than I used to for the exact same service, about 100 dollars less, and that will be money in my pocket at the end of the year. Opened account with Pure Talk. A new phone was purchased thru Pure Talk for the new account. Phone was defective from the beginning. After a month of troubleshooting defects I called Pure Talk to request they send a new phone that worked. Pure Talk customer service stated that I would need to send the phone back to them for a “Tech.” to evaluate. Pure Talk customer service stated that this process could take “up to 4 weeks”. Pure Talk also stated that I would continue to be charged for the account during this “Process”. I am a Senior Citizen that is also a Disabled Veteran that needs access to communication, not to mention Emergency Services. Pure Talk is endangering the lives of Senior Citizens by this policy of return of a defective phone with no access to a new communication device during their “Tech.” evaluation period.

You turned off my phone without reason. Your website doesn't have an option to choose from concerning "no service". Your rep said that there is a call limit on your side even though I have unlimited service. I was then told if it happens again, they would "submit a ticket". If you cut off my service again, you will not need to worry about a ticket, I will fire you. I promise.

The main issue is my area has very poor AT&T coverage so for the most part I get poor to marginal signal unless I am in an urban area. Unfortunately this area is covered by Verizon very well. I left Verizon due to cost not service quality, in fact my wife still has Verizon and even though we had planned to go to Pure Talk she needs the level of signal that Verizon gives us. Coincidentally, since I changed to Pure Talk my phone will NOT reacquire a lost signal unless I reboot the phone.
This happens frequently and with no apparent or predictable pattern. I thus have to constantly monitor the phone to make sure I have a usable signal. Even though the phone operates with the Pure Talk sim card, every time I reboot the phone it still flashes a Welcome to Verizon screen and then it advises me "Verizon Sim Card not Installed". All in all it is acceptable, most of the time I have useful signal and the cost is a good feature This service also has no wifi calling which I had with Verizon.. For this area I would not recommend Pure Talk.

Occasionally after about a month, it appears that if the customer doesn't restart the phone periodically, call end as soon as they connect. I have found that by restarting my Android, the call drop ceases. Perhaps you can explain to me what is happening. Other than this issue, it appears to be a good connection if I am not near my home's WiFi.

When I had AT&T phone, did not have issues in buildings. Now with 5G I have issues getting into network from desk. I do not know if the difference is 5g or 4g coverage is not as good. Outside I will have 5 bars. When I am inside not as good. When I call out I will have to move to a door so the call will go out.

Living in a more rural area and after getting the iPhone 14 with the eSIM, I had nothing issues. After months of fighting with customer support due to dropped calls, no service, and failed text messages with Verizon and T-Mobile I had had it. So frustrating! Service goes on and off. Compatibility with my five year old phone is an issue. I have to keep turning my phone on and off for service to restart. Also, the hotspot feature does not work at all with this provider. It worked fine with my previous provider. I don't understand what the problem is. Technical support said I needed to buy a new phone from them.

While customer support agents have been as helpful as possible, I am unsatisfied with the phone's inabilities to utilize wifi calling. I am very unhappy that it was not made clear to me before I purchased the plan that wifi calling is not available on most phones and that PureTalk cannot provide me with the names of phones that do work. I am happy with the price, but have not decided yet if it is worth the wifi calling issue.

Will we enjoy the service which to us is costing a little more than T-Mobile, we are a little disappointed with the fact that we cannot respond to text messaging that is sent to our choir members which consist with well over 10 members. Absolutely zero regrets switching to Puretalk. No issues with the network, actually better reception in the rural area I live. We've not been anywhere in the Eastern US that we haven't had signal, and most of the time we have 5G service. And our bill is 1/3 what it was with AT&T, and we have double the mobile data. I recommend daily to people I interact with on my business calls.

I’m a Pure Talk customer for over ten years. I’m very satisfied with the service in the USA. I’m currently in the Dominican Republic. I have two phone lines. The plan has unlimited talk and text, 3GB of data and includes international roaming. When I arrived, my roaming balance was low, so I added ten dollars. Roaming didn’t work. I was unable to make phone calls or send text messages.
I called Pure Talk support from my Vonage internet phone. It took over half an hour for a support agent to talk to me. For the whole time I had to listen to a pre-recorded message bragging about the great service Pure Talk offers. Annoying. The support agent was extremely polite and friendly. However, she was unable to resolve the roaming problem and started a ticket. She told me that IT support would take care of this problem and she would get back with me within 24 to 48 hours. I gave her my Vonage phone number and my email address.
After 54 hours, I called Pure Talk support again after they failed to contact me. The agent informed me that the ticket was just given to IT support. She promised to talk to IT support and expedite this matter. Nothing happened, no phone call, no email. After three days, I called again. Spent hours on the phone with several agents. All are very polite but have no clue on how to resolve a roaming problem. Pure Talk refuses to let customers talk to IT support. After four days, I called again and asked to speak with a supervisor. I got lucky. A very nice lady worked hard for almost two hours and finally resolved the issue. My phone worked. We started to work on my wife’s phone. She has the exact same phone I have. No luck, the agent tried for over half an hour. She told she would talk to IT support and call me back. That was six days ago. Nothing but silence, no phone call, no email. I gave up. Pure Talk doesn’t care about customers.

My wife and daughter have this service. They complain of lost and dropped calls constantly. Support was good. I think it's just not a good fit for my location since it's using the ATT network. The use of an eSIM made it harder to troubleshoot since I had to manually put in the information every time there was an issue.

Pure Talk claimed exact same service as we were getting with Verizon; not true. We longer lag times while surfing and our security cameras don't give us notification until 3 to 10 minutes after motion is detected. With Verizon, we got notification in less than 30 seconds. Price is good but the slow speeds are troubling.

I wanted to encourage a patriotic company but turns out that it will cost me twice as much as it used to in order to do so and it wouldn't be so bad except that I need to pay extra to get enough memory which I did and now my wife phone is having the same issue so the phone line is good but the service comes out to too much so looks like I'll have to go back to Comcast unfortunately.

I don't know how to use the features of the phone and it doesn't work when I'm out of the house. My friends have tried to help but they have only confused me more. I recommend PureTalk to everyone I know. The customer service is amazing. My previous carrier would have us on hold for hours and I'm not the most tech savvy person like the younger folks so Ren was extremely helpful with helping me get a new phone. I know my old phone no longer would hold a charge and I had to keep charging every 15 minutes so it was on the last leg. I decided to go with the 15 in blue. She explained the storage to me and help me locate exactly what was on my phone. Now was a smooth process and I can't wait to get the new device.

We switched to PureTalk because of the possibility of having better service in a remote area we moved to. The icing on the cake was the conservative values the company relates to. We could not be happier with our choice. We have a much better signal than we had with the previous carrier out here in the country. Others around us have trouble getting and keeping a signal with various carriers they all have. We only have a little lag when sending picture attachments. We plan to stay with PureTalk for as long as they are in business.

Pure Talk USA works as good or perhaps even better than AT&T, although I'm still annoyed with the fact that I had to upgrade my IOs in order to get Pure Talk USA working on my iPhone XR. If I had known I was required to upgrade my IOs I probably would not have switched. Definitely less expensive, thought if I was going to be forced to upgrade my IOs, then Pure Talk should have offered to allow me to purchase an updated iPhone. Overall Pure Talk seems to be good, but they need to be a bit more savvy on treating their new customers with respect.

In Fairhaven, I lose all signal from area to area. It's very frustrating. At home I have wifi, a quarter mile from home at my shop I have no signal. It sucks. A half mile in another direction I have no signal.

My wife and I were using Page Plus Cellular before we switched. She was getting 3 GBytes/month while I was getting 100 MBytes/month. By switching, she got the same service and I was able to upgrade my service to 3 GBytes without raising our total cost. Also, I bought two unlocked Motorola phones that worked just fine on PureTalk's network (ATT).

Me and my wife had hesitated for several months before taking the step to change our cell phone provider as we did not desire to support any longer organizations we did not agree with. I have no service in full Florida airport. I arrived from Peru expecting to use my phone and all I get is a “no service". I don’t know what happened but I Need my phone. And now without my cell phone for 10 hours. This is no way to run a carrier business. Customer count on your service 24/7. And when it’s not available it causes mass confusion.

My experience has been perfect except for one thing. With the big carriers, you can buy a phone and have the payments added to your monthly bill. I was very disappointed to find out that is not the case with PureTalk. Apparently, you have to pass some credit-worthiness test instead of just having the phone cost added to your monthly bill. I'm not going to go back to the big carriers, but I found this disappointing.

Initially I asked about the free phone that was advertised and discovered they were no longer available. Bait and switch? I bought a new phone and waited to hear back on transfer. One day with notice I was disconnected and had to use my wife phone to find out what happened. I was on the phone several times with both phones on the transfer.

At the present time I have bars, tries to call You and get "not connected to the net. With T Mobile I could always connect. Now with your service 4 bars are not enough. We have been with 5 other companies for our cell service and have had nothing but problems with them cutting back on towers, shrinking coverage, cutting services. When I called in to sign up, the guy asked how much I wanted to pay. He did NOT help me with anything. I've had to talk to three people to figure out what I wanted. This is not what the person on the phone's job. They need to give you the info necessary to make the best decision. I was not impressed with that. How do I get that damn News Break off my phone? I never asked them to be on my phone, as I don't allow the damn verbal noise for anyone who wants to email me.

Hello, I am very disappointed in the service I received as a new customer. I received a phone from you - the phone was locked, therefore I could not open the phone. Two customer service people told me to take it into the Samsung service center. I have not had the chance to do that. I wanted to send it back but the "customer service" person told me that would not work with the phone being locked. Once again, I had to tell her that I DID NOT lock the phone. Didn't matter to her. I would like to talk with someone who can fix my issue as I have not used my phone yet but I am paying the monthly fee.

I have to Constantly have remove my SIM Card to reset my phone to Place Or Receive Calls!! I never had this problem with this phone and changed from Verizon to T-Mobile with no problem!!! Changed from T-Mobile to Pure Talk constantly have this problem!!!! The only Two(2) That changed was Carrier & SIM Card. I paid for a defective SIM Card!! I asked for a replacement and Pure Talk wants to play games having me call with another phone nearby. I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM BEFORE!!!! With that in mind, seems very obvious one of two things, Carrier or SIM Card.... Pure Talk doesn't want to replace the SIM Card, that narrows it down to only one(1) option...

A lot of time when using your service, the party on the other end seems to drift off or get garbled. It sounds like they are in a can. Also, dislike that I have to call myself to get voicemail as I use an Android. Other than that, seems ok.

Generally the service is good but we have found that most places we go we are only able to get 2 bars, 3 bars sometimes, never 4 bars, and only one bar at our home or no service. When we first started the service we had one bar all the time at our home and now it has changed to no service at times in some areas of the house/property.

My phone doesn't work very well in my house especially in the master bedroom where a person I'm talking to can't hear me or says it's garbled. Otherwise when I'm outside it works fine. The price is good compared to Verizon but Verizon seemed to work better. Thanks for asking!

The service I am getting from Pure Talk is good. No real issues. The only problem I am having is the stinking Blu phone. The pictures won't save to my phone, messaging is a nightmare, and getting the settings right is a constant battle. Pictures come out TERRIBLE! HATE THIS PHONE!

We switched from a carrier we liked, but saved over 1/2 with Pure Talk! I really appreciate the customer service and the cell service is great everywhere I have been within 250 miles of my house. I switched to Pure Talk, because they don't support left wing organizations, and they support our veterans, and they were recommended by my AMAC. But I have to say, I'm a bit disappointed. The service was supposed to work, where I live in the mountains, without being on WiFi, and it doesn't, as a matter of fact, even when I'm on WiFi, people on the other end of my call, tell me I'm garbled, or they can't hear me. This has even been an issue, when I am down off the mountain on regular network, so the service I'm getting isn't what they claimed.
As far as calling customer service, I have gotten a good and helpful person twice, but beyond that, I have had to deal with some of their representatives who were out and out rude, and not even close to being helpful. A lot of seniors turn to this service, and seniors need help sometimes with technical issues, and the representatives, should be more patient, and polite, when having to deal with us! All in all, I am disappointed, with this company, I expected better customer service, and better cellphone service than I ended up with.

I have had multiple issues with iMessages not going through, low or no connectivity and overall slowness on the network. I have spoken multiple times to representatives and nothing has changed. I am seriously considering switching to another character simply because the service is so very bad.

Service is very slow, reminds me of the old dial-up days. Sometimes internet access is unavailable. Certainly not the quality that was promised and promoted in advertisements. I don't use a lot of data but had to add more to get through the month, so now I am paying over $70.

Process has been easy overall. I'm disappointed in having to learn how to start up the cell phone online. I had absolutely no experience with the new phones (new to me). My 21 year old granddaughter set it up and instructed me on important "things to know". Initial calls to Pure Talk were helpful and informative about the service, but we are left to chance handling the cell phone.

Does not have service quite frequently, doesn't receive calls and does not receive texts. I work out of town, and will not receive texts from wife until I pull in my own driveway, when something is needed from the town where I work. This phone plan costs more then my wife's plan, and she gets better service, never misses texts or calls. The phone is very slow loading information when browsing internet.

I signed up as a new customer. The service has been great so far. The new phone is working well. No complaints. On my end I will need to upgrade my plan to the 65.00 since I use selected apps frequently. Phone **. Has never worked properly. Although we pay for data plan since inception, she has never been able to get internet unless hooked up to wifi at our home. She has never been able to group text. She has never been able to receive pictures via text. Now she can only make calls if hooked up to wifi. My wife has many chronic illnesses and should not be without a phone. This is a safety issue that can mean life or death.
I expect a credit for the money we paid for her data plan up to now. I expect her phone to be made functional within 1 week. If not we are switching back to AT&T, no matter the cost. Then I will make a call on the national radio program Clay and Buck show telling of my disappointment as their testimony is the reason we chose Puretalk. I am thoroughly disappointed and outraged at the lack of effective response resolving this problem. I hope my wife does not find herself in a situation where her life is in danger and no access to a phone. I hope you are proud of yourselves. You can call me if you would like at **.

I had to make several calls to get my new iPhone set up. Your agents finally told me to call Apple. Even they couldn't get it set up completely. I finally called back PureTalk, and got a very knowledgeable agent, who got the job finished! All total, it took about 6 hours on the phone between PureTalk agents and Apple agents to get it done.

The service seems to be fine. I'm not exactly a world traveler, so I can't comment on the sort of range quality. Like any service, I'm sure they all have dead spots, however overall the service is fine for me in my limited travel. The phone itself works OK, some things I like, and some I don't. Wasn't informed I only had 2 weeks to realize what a terrible phone it was. Was lured in by ad on daily wire saying service was good, no contract, lower cost, helped servicemen. Somehow ended up with a bill 50% higher than same service on boost, a 30 month contract, service no better, worst phone I've ever owned. Charged me $5. to change billing date and service goes off briefly every month on the original billing date. Then daily wire ad said everyone's bills were going down for unlimited service. Mine didn't. Can't get a decent phone on payments even though it's set up on Autopay...so far very disappointed. I hope it actually is helping veterans but I have my doubts. Can't recommend.

Three significant issues: callers hear echo of themselves 99% of the time. If I call them back it resolves issue. 2) Coverage at home used to be pretty spotty with ATT but now it is non-existent with Pure Talk. Lastly, photos I send via text almost always fail to send from home. I wanted to give our business to Pure Talk but now I'm regretting my decision.

I was disappointed that I wasn’t able to update my phone and finance it with monthly installments. I got all the way through and it asked who the carrier was and didn’t give Puretalk as an option. I also wish puretalk had an app so I can monitor my data usage.

I ordered a phone when I signed up. I could not get it to work. Called and was told I could return it. Several months later, called to see why it was not credited. It seems it was locked (I don't know how). They could not open and so was tossed. No one contacted me. Phone could have been returned so I could unlock it.

I am pleased with the quality of service I am receiving. Pure Talk is comparable in quality to AT&T but cost much less. As a senior citizen and on a fixed income it is important to have a quality plan at an affordable rate and that is what we are getting.

Overall, we have been very happy with this phone service. The only complaint I have had was a lack of internet service when we were at our son's house in Buckeye, AZ which is about 20 miles west of Phoenix. We had phone service but could not connect to the internet.

Not really happy with the service I have received, very slow downloads. And also very hard to get ahold of, put your name in search, and just keep getting Straight Talk info. Keep getting some message about my data is going over, I expressly told them at sign up that I didn't want that to happen, but they rokd me it was more than enough to handle my needs, hope that wasn't from Smart Talk. If so you need to reach out to me and explain.

I was hesitant at first as I have used several online cellular services but I switched about 2 years ago and am very pleased. Great service and coverage, easy to change plans on any device at any time. I have 3 phones on my plan and pay less than I was with any other carrier for just 1, and customer service is friendly and very helpful. I'm sold!

I have had PureTalk for several years now and I am still happy with the service. As normal, sometimes there is no signal and sometimes I get a signal when others around me don't have one. The price is right. I don't use my phone a lot but it works when I need it. I have recommended Pure Talk to others because of the service and price.

I'm 67 years old and have been paying bills for 17 years. I'm responsible enough to pay my bills on time. Due to so many companies being hacked I NEVER leave a credit card on file. Your service is very slow and or non existent. My husband and I will be switching back to Verizon.

We never had to contact PureTalk customer service until about a year ago. My husband and I were both very pleased with the service we received. I wish I could remember the name of the CSR but she was very kind. She was able to assist us with our needs; if I remember correctly, it was an issue with my voicemail not being set up. Husband and I are both glad we made the switch to PureTalk. We will never go back to a big carrier again.

Requested to provide the customer with information needed to transfer me from Att in order for a smooth Transition. iPhone is an easier option than an android. The monthly costs to upgrade to the iPhone is more than half the cost of what it cost for Pure Talk.

I am loving my experience so far except for one thing. I do not like that I get billed with no extra time to make the payment. I get a bill today and if not paid by tomorrow it will be shut off. That's a little crazy considering most people have to work and get paid only on certain days. I do not love this feature.

Updated payment last month but had issues again. I have a new credit card. Payment was made on time. Had to add a nickname on card. The form was not clear as to procedure. This time it should be finalized. The operator was patient and helpful. Great service. I am very pleased with phone service and support. Thank you.

I was unable to make or receive calls for 2 days. The first day I called and paid my bill thinking that it was a credit card issue only when I was unable to make calls on the second day I called again and was told that the issue was a minutes problem. I think it would be beneficial to Pure Talk as well as the customer to notify said customer when he or she is approaching their time limit. I appreciate your understanding.
