I went into the Metro store on north Broadway and the guy behind the counter didn't know what he was doing. I went in to upgrade my phone and I'm telling him the way I got my last upgrade 3 years ago and they gave me a credit limit to get the phone I wanted. He rudely interrupted me and said, "How Important is your phone number to you, the only I can give you phone is to get a new number." Say what. He didn't acknowledge any of my questions and ignored everything I said to him. Before I walked out, he goes, "Well, what do you want to do." I have been a loyal customer for about 7 years and I have never been treated this way. So I'm still stuck with a phone that barely works because of his negligence.

Review: I’ve been a loyal MetroPCS customer since 2003, but the experience I had at the MetroPCS store located at 1167 Pleasant Street, Fall River, MA 02723 was the worst I’ve ever had. On August 6, I went in with 5 phones on my plan, simply trying to replace an old phone and keep my number. Instead, the store manager ** (#**) canceled my phone from my plan and set it up as a brand-new plan. He promised me it would be fixed in a week, but every time I went back, he pushed me off again.
What he actually did was create an extra line and put my new phone on a separate plan—leaving me paying $200 for my old plan plus $62 for the new one. When I tried to get answers, Tiago was rude, dishonest, and even physically aggressive, pressing his body against mine as if he wanted to fight. That is completely unacceptable behavior for anyone, let alone a manager.
Thankfully, when I finally contacted MetroPCS customer service, they explained exactly what he had done, fixed the problem, and treated me with respect and professionalism—everything this store failed to do. After more than 20 years as a Metro customer, I have never experienced anything like this. This store is shady, unprofessional, and unsafe. If you need help, skip this location entirely and call MetroPCS customer service instead. Tiago should not be managing a store.

The worst phone service provider in the world. Metro PCS is a thief.. That make changes to your account without getting your authorization. Then to change the changes back that you did not make you must pay the incorrect bill first. Hell. Places is full of it. Has nothing but New York street vendors robbing from your account every month. I paid their bill for months because I didn't want to take time out and go fix it Which 611 can only Do... The fact that didn't commit wire fraud and automatically deduct that from my account without my written authorization has me especially because they don't own the credit card company so that need the credit card companies also participating in the crime. Best of luck guys. Sanford MetroPCS great location. Good manager. Great young people working trying to help you out. The fact that they put everything off on 611 is how they must do it but I'm sorry for a bunch of these MetroPCS T-MOBILE ..

I have been a customer for a while and have consistently experienced poor service. I've encountered false advertising regarding upgrades and pricing, and both in-store and phone representatives have given me conflicting information. My most recent issue has been trying to port my number, which has been a frustrating experience for the past week and a half. I have been sent back and forth between calling a specific number and visiting a physical store to verify my ID. The latest issue is that a representative is refusing to verify my ID without a manager present, which is holding up the porting process. It will be too late soon and this number is on everything in my life.

I've had Metro for years and the last year their cellphone internet service has been horrible. When I call customer service, I get the runaround and different answers to what the problem is and it never fixed. I never had a problem before. I have an unlimited plan, but they slow my Internet down when I've used a certain amount and most of what was used was my phone trying to connect. I even upgraded my phone, which I was told would help. It didn't. I'm moving on to somewhere else since they can't figure out how to fix the problem.

I had an issue and called 611. My call was answered pretty quickly and the lady stated she would access my account and help me. After I gave her a code she sent to my phone, she said she would put me on hold and be right with me. 30 minutes later, my call ended up going to a survey line. I didn't leave a very high rating and another lady came on the line and apologized that I hadn't been happy with the assistance I had received. She asked what caused me to rate the service so low. After explaining, she apologized again and immediately jumped into my account to assist me.
After an hour of hard work on her part, we were able to fix the issue. I asked her to send me back to the survey again so I could give her a rating. She said it is only one survey per call. So I am leaving a review and I hope Metro sees it and gives her the raise or promotion she deserves. Her name is Brandy M. from the Escalations department. I have been a customer for a long time and NEVER have I had such great service as today. Thank you Brandy M. and may you get the recognition you truly deserve!!

I've been a loyal Metro customer for nearly a decade, boasting multiple lines on my account until my divorce forced me to make changes. Despite my circumstances, I was charged nearly the same price for just one line. It took a formal complaint, but eventually, a commendable Metro agent lowered my bill significantly.
However, everything went downhill when T-Mobile took over. During a visit back home, I lost my phone while on vacation. Under pressure, I purchased a new device, only to find myself entangled in a web of questionable practices. I was charged double for a new phone line, and I was given a different number without my consent. After I raised my concerns, I was assured that I would regain my original number and plan rate, but that turned out to be nothing more than a deceitful promise. I have been battling with them ever since.
To add insult to injury, I was hit with even more charges on one bill. The last bill rendered my phone service completely unusable. When I sought a resolution—whether a refund for the unused month or at least a complimentary month of service—I was met with refusal and indifference. Customer service has been anything but helpful, and now they won't unlock my much-purchased phone. Each interaction has left me feeling disrespected and frustrated.
Let me be unequivocally clear: I strongly urge you to avoid this company. They show a blatant disregard for their customers. In the wake of losing my mother to cancer and facing several serious health issues of my own, I find it unacceptable that I can't access critical accounts linked to my Metro PCS number and device. It’s beyond belief that they seem completely unconcerned about my ownership of the device or the personal challenges I am grappling with.
Metro is a heartless corporation, prioritizing profit over the needs of the people they claim to serve. If I could give them a negative 10,000-star rating, I would do so without hesitation. Take my advice seriously: you will receive no respect or compassion from this uncaring corporate giant. They simply do not care, and that is an undeniable reality.

I have been a loyal customer of MetroPCS for almost 20 years, every year the service has been getting worse and worse. I have a Motorola phone that literally blew up in my hand so I thought no problem, I have insurance on the phone, I will take it to my local store and start a claim. Three months ago, I got a call from a MetroPCS agent advising me of a change to my bill that increased the bill by $13.00. I was outraged and said that I was not paying for this increase. The agent remarked ,"No problem. We have a new promotion I will sign you up for."
Thinking I was all good I went to the MetroPCS to try to get my damaged phone fixed and guess what the agent I had spoken to over the phone had cancelled not only the insurance on my phone but the insurance on the second line I have as well. The clerk at the MetroPCS store was outraged as she could see my situation (I am a disabled senior citizen with an amputated leg) but there was nothing she could do. You are better off switching to another carrier that offers the same dealt on phones or purchase your phone elsewhere and opt for their service. Best bet is if you want to get MetroPCS service go to a store. Do not online or call their customer service. You will be sorely disappointed.

Contact customer service, they tell me, "We need to access your account," but I'm assuming since it's not active, you can't get the code. No duh, Sherlock. Last time I went to the store in Warrington PA I was told a certain price for an upgrade and that no charger came with the phone, it had to be purchased separately. I went to a further store and they told me the real price and that it absolutely included the charger. I swore I would never go back to Warrington, but silly me- I did today. I went in to have my current phone swapped out for an iPhone that I already had, seems easy. They made the switch, and then added a separate line for my old phone. Nobody told me, nobody asked me, and I only noticed the new line when my old phone connected to my Bluetooth in my car.
If that had not happened, I would have never known. I was able to now use both phones because they gave my old phone its own line- and even added a protection plan- how nice of them. When I called customer service to see why this new phone number was added, to remove it, and to refund me for the activation fee they said they couldn't because it was a promo and they would charge me an early termination fee. DONE. Such a scam, clearly just a kickback for the employee and disregard for customer loyalty and honesty. DON'T GO TO THIS STORE!

Extreme disappointment with my iPhone 15 Plus, I’ve purchased for $1400 which I purchased from your a store in Florida. In the two short years I have owned this device, it has experienced multiple serious issues:
• The GPS has completely failed, making it nearly impossible for me to navigate — especially since moving up north where GPS is essential. I have gotten lost on the interstate multiple times due to this failure.
• The speaker has stopped working, forcing me to use speakerphone for every call.
I was never clearly informed at the time of purchase that I would need AppleCare+ or extended insurance to protect myself from such rapid device failure. For a phone of this cost and reputation, these problems are unacceptable — especially given that my previous iPhone 11 lasted almost 10 years without any major issues.
When I sought assistance, I was met with the dismissive suggestion to “just buy another phone.” After nearly 50 years as a loyal customer, I find this response appalling. I expected far better service, support, and accountability from a company of Apple’s size and stature. I am requesting that they all Metro, and Apple take responsibility for this defective product!

I've been with this company over 5 years and when I came in trouble with the phone and took it to one of the stores they could not fix it. So I went to another and they couldn't fix it either so I asked over the phone agents with they help me and the only thing they can give me was a promotion even though I have protection on both of my lines plus a tablet. I think this is really rude behavior and it should not be tolerated.
I asked could they go ahead and give me some money off my phone. They said no because I did not want to promotion even though it took me money to go to one store and to another store and I have not gotten a feedback of "let's go ahead and give you a replacement" but only want to give me a promotion for a free phone and I must go ahead and still pay extra for another line. I told them, "hell to the no, please fix it." I don't know who does the training for Associates but your West Butler location in Mauldin needs a whole day of training in how to and not talk to customers. I just went in to ask an associate about a problem I was having with my phone and her response was "WE'RE NOT OPEN" to which I replied. "We'll your door is" and she goes into this is explanation of well I just got here....
So what. 1. I'm a customer and I needed help. 2. You should have locked the door when you entered. Everything else is secondary ro associate safety. Your business is customer service. NOT SELLING PHONE MERCHANDISE. The moment you forget that is when you start the downward spiral towards unemployment and your store shutting down. All it takes is 1 customer telling another customer how good or bad their experience was at your business to make the difference between success and closed until further notice. I have been a Metro customer for 7+ years now and have always had excellent service and customer care (until "karen"). Someone needs to let Associates know that behavior like this is unacceptable. They have an unmatched $40 unlimited call, text, data plan that has made my daily essential communication needs with others, seamless. Unfortunately, I made a switch due to their extremely limited access to connecting abroad with their services. What I would love to see in the near future is broader international coverage (data, call, text, hotspot, international roaming) to multiple countries 150+ and with competitive rates. I asked the bill they said the wrong bill amount and then I ask how come I didn't receive a text. They flat out hung up on me.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I have been a loyal customer of MetroPCS & this store for many years. I have bought several phones here. I went there this afternoon and had a horrific experience with their manager named Bruce. This man never smiles or is kind to people, he always has a bad attitude and is arrogant. Not to mention the sexually inappropriate comments he would make about other customers. Today, out of nowhere he approached me and started to verbally attack me, humiliating me in front of other customers & employees creating a HUGE scene all because I sent him a text many months ago that he disliked for mentioning "God" to him. When I said I would then see the other employee for assistance, he immediately yelled out to the other young man who works there, "do not help her!" I stood there shocked and humiliated. The customers that were there with their little kids just looked at me in shock as well.
He then yelled, "Get out.. Leave the store!" I thought he was going to get violent so I left. As I was leaving I heard him use some profanity towards me not caring children were present. I told him I would go to another MetroPCS store. I was so upset I could not believe a MANAGER of a store would behave so unprofessional and rude!! A PROFESSIONAL MGR. takes a person aside, not verbally attacks her in front of an entire store of people! A PROFESSIONAL MGR. does not kick a customer out of a store for no motive! He has ZERO manners!
I have also filed a complaint with the MetroPCS corporate office. Don't go to this store & be mistreated. Don't give them your business. All they care about is selling phones & making their commissions. Clearly the owner does not care at how customers are treated here! when he hasn't bothered to reply and/or apologize! After this horrible incident, I don't even feel like staying with MetroPCS! They suck. (Metro PCS - S. Military Trail in Deerfield Beach, FL)

The next day I realize that calls could not be made out of wifi zone. Went back to Metro and spent over an hour with them trying to fix the problem. Still no service, I visited another office, spent over an hour and a half and was told to turn phone off for about 10 mins and it should work. Still did not work. Visited the office for the third but this trip I asked for the manager. He examined the phone for about 10 min then told me that the phone was not a Metro phone, therefore it's not compatible with their system. He showed me similar metro phones which he suggested that I purchased. My question to him was why would I do so when I already have a phone? The decision was that I had to purchase their phone or find another supplier, which I did.
Went to another supplier but was unable to retain their services due to the fact the Metro LOCKED 🔒 my phone. I called them about 3 times, before they admitted to locking the phone. Company policy was that phone would have to be hooked up with them for a year as people are taking advantage of their cheaper phones and service. How so? Can someone explain? Thank you.

We were told one price by ** but charged another price by **, when I tried to mention to ** that the price for the plans was wrong, he just kept saying trust me, trust me.
When I asked for a contract to see what exactly they were charging us for the phones, plans ,etc... I was told they don't have contracts, the only proof of purchase they gave me was the credit card receipt. So as soon as I got home I checked my account to see what exactly they charged me for, and the amount charged was different then what we paid. So I called their customer service and when they looked into the account they saw we were was overcharged, apparently they added phone insurance and long distance on all the phones which I never asked for, and I was doubled taxed! So customer service told me to return to the store and ask for a refund since they have a 14 days return/refund policy.
Next day I went back, no manager so we were told to come back the next day. Next day we go back in and talk with the manager **, who instantly said they didn't overcharge us, and they did nothing wrong, I told him I was recording the whole time and I have proof we were overcharged, he said he didn't care. I told him customer service said that we qualified the 14 day return/refund policy, but he tried to con me again and tell me that to qualify for the 14 days refund policy we would have had to paid the full price for the phones, and that since the phones were free they didn't qualify for the 14 days return policy, yet this is not stated anywhere in their terms and conditions for a return/refund, and customer service confirm the phones don't have to be paid in full in order to qualify for the refund. I told him fine I will call the police because this was clearly a case of fraud/scam.
So, I called the police and you want to know how nasty this guy ** is, while waiting for the police I ask ** if I could wait in the store for the police. He said yes at first, then told me to get out of the store when he heard me talking to customer service on the phone, it was like 110F in the shade outside and I am terminally ill (cancer, bad heart) and he kicked me out in the heat which could kill me, even after I told him this he said he didn't care, he wanted me out. Of course police came but they really couldn't do anything other than try and mediate and file a case for court which I appreciated, all I ask for was my money back.
Word of advice, if you go to this store, or any other METRO store, record the transaction with another phone and/or have someone with you to witness the purchase, and ask them to itemized everything on paper prior to paying and make sure to get a full statement receipt NOT just a credit/debit card receipt. Now if they do scam you and they refuse to refund you, dispute the charges with your bank or credit card company, also make sure to report the store to the Attorney General, BBB, FTC, Consumer Affairs, etc.. Oh and be very careful, don't give them your old phone if you're porting your phone number. They will change your password to your account and impersonate you to gain access to your other carrier's account which is fraud.
BTW, if you don't believe me, look at the lowest reviews on here. I'm not the only one that they've done this to, and I'm sure there are more people who just never notice they got scammed, Also google METROPCS lawsuit, the company has been sued before because too many of their authorized retailers were all doing the same deceptive sales practices like bait and switch, and that's why they changed their name from METROPCS to METRO by T-mobile. *** This review is for METRO by T-mobile @ 2850 Pine Grove Ave. Port Huron MI.

I told him customer service said that we qualified the 14 day return/refund policy, but he tried to con me again and tell me that we only qualify for the 14 days refund policy if we had paid the full price for the phones, and that since the phones were free they didn't qualify for the 14 days return policy, yet this is not stated anywhere in their terms and conditions for a return/refund, and customer service confirm the phones don't have to be paid in full in order to qualify for the refund. I told him, "Fine. I will call the PH police because this was clearly a case of fraud/scam."
So, I called the police and you want to know how nasty this guy ** is, while waiting for the police I ask ** if I could wait in the store for the police. He said yes at first, then told me to get out of the store when he heard me talking to customer service on the phone, it was like 110F in the shade outside and I am terminally ill (cancer, bad heart) and he kicked me out in the heat which could kill me, even after I told him this he said he didn't care he wanted me out. Of course police came but they really couldn't do anything other than try and mediate which I appreciated and a case was filed. Now we could easily sue METRO by T-mobile and these guys and win especially with all the recorded evidence we have but with me being terminally ill I don't have time to deal with these on top of my health issues so I filed a dispute with my credit card company and they agreed this was fraud/scam and they will be doing a chargeback.
Word of advice, if you go to this store, or any other METRO store, record the transaction with another phone and/or have someone with you to witness the purchase, get a full statement receipt and if you can't get anywhere for a refund with them, do a chargeback on your credit card/ bank etc.. And make sure to report them to the Attorney General, BBB, FTC etc.. Oh and by very careful, don't give them your old phone if you're porting your phone number. They will change your password to your account and impersonate you to gain access to your other carrier's account which is fraud. BTW, if you don't believe google METROPCS lawsuit, the company has been sued before for doing stuff like this, that's why they changed their name to METRO by T-mobile. ***This review is for METRO by T-mobile @ 2850 Pine Grove Ave. Port Huron MI.

I'm stuck with slow speeds on my phone now because I gave up on trying to explain my situation to the representative for a 4th time. I'm extremely upset and really close to abandoning Metro for good. I needed to switch providers since they offer no international coverage when you travel out of the country and need to call home. I called to get my account, transfer pin and let Metro know I would be cancelling services. This is important because upon doing this I was not considered a customer anymore.
Fast forward a day later and I am setting up my new service only to be stopped because Metro locked my phone. The new provider cannot do anything unless Metro unlocks it. I try to call, but the customer service line does not answer unless you're a customer. I go into a store and the store manager will not help and tells me the only way they will unlock the phone is if I call customer service but know they won't answer unless I am a customer. I told him that is not right. He told me to buy a new phone and sell the old one. He also justified customer service’s refusal to talk to me by saying "they have to spend 20-30 minutes on the phone and since you are not a customer, that's dollars." I bought my phone; I should be able to use it for whatever service I want if it is compatible with a new carrier. I have never left a bad review for any company before, but this should be illegal.

After talking with the customer service rep at my local MetroPCS store I decided to sign up for the 5G home Wifi. Now the phone service is excellent and I have never had an issue regarding phone connectivity. However, the 5G Home Wifi is garbage. I don't know if I was sold a bill of goods or was just expecting more but I have had nothing but problems with the service.
Fist of all, I have had to move the 5G device about 12 times since starting the service to improve signal. Because of this I cannot put it in a central location of the house, so the rear of my home does not get good signal. I was told by the Customer service person that it would cover my entire home. Next, I told the CSR that I had several devices I connect to my networks including a laptop, game system, and streaming devices. He said "I have this in my home and I have like 12 devices connected and don't have any problems man". Well, that is a load of bull because I have all kinds of issues streaming if even a single computer is connected alongside the network. Just today, to restore signal I have had to restart my device 12 times. If you want decent phone service, Metro is great but stay away from WIFI unless you are just doing online shopping and email.

I have auto-pay on our plan, and they already have access to our credit card information. Their AI customer service must be on crack. It gave me 5 options, none of which fit my needs. When I did not pick one, it asked me to explain my issue. When I did that, I was cut off, and the 5 options were repeated. It asked for my passcode, which I entered, then it went into 2-step verification, sending me a code, but before I could even retrieve the code, the voice kept asking me if I received it and to enter it. I kept trying to enter it, but the voice kept nagging me over and over again.
Finally, they sent a second code because the AI CRACK robot nagged me so much that I entered the wrong number. I was sent a second code, but was given a millisecond to enter it, and then the nagging voice continued on and on. Because I called on MY phone and not my husband's phone, I then had to go for a 3rd dose of 2 step verification with AI on Crack again nagging me to enter the number faster! I am going to be 70 next month, CUT ME A BREAK. And then, despite having been a LOYAL customer since 2012, they claimed they needed my credit card information, which they already have, and I had to enter all of that for $5! It took way too much time to simply add 2GB of data, and I am very much over the experience.

I asked for a specific phone, paid in full for it and was told it would be here in 2-3 days. After I hung up I received an email confirming my order and noticed they had ordered the wrong phone. I immediately called back and let them know that their agent had ordered the wrong one. Literally 3 minutes at most between when I hung up from ordering to when I called back. The 2nd agent I spoke to told me they didn't even have the phone I requested so I asked for the order to be canceled and my money refunded. I was told their team would reach out to me by email within 24 hours.
Today I got an email saying the order (which has not even shipped) cannot be canceled and I will have to wait until it arrives, return it, and once their warehouse processes it they will issue a refund which will then take 3-7 business days for my bank to process. I called and talked to a supervisor and asked how an order I placed with METRO could not be canceled by METRO? Of course they didn't have an answer other than "that's just the policy." This is unacceptable! This is YOUR mistake not mine! But now my money is tied up for God only knows how long. I guarantee they don't process my return and refund as quickly as they did the charge to my bank account. How does a nationally known company have such lousy customer service?
I was told by their agent that they did have the phone I requested and payment was processed with the understanding I was being charged for the phone I wanted, only to receive an email showing that a phone of lesser value and quality was what had actually been ordered. I was very clear that I was looking for a specific phone, I would have never agreed to be charged for anything other than what I requested. This is fraud, deception and theft, and I'm not understanding how they get away with this!

Alright, Metro, gather 'round, because we need to talk. You know, for a company that prides itself on "no contracts," you sure know how to lock someone into a nightmare. You managed to take a simple "free phone" promo and turn it into a full-blown criminal investigation. That's not customer service; that's a new level of scam artistry!
You told this loyal customer they weren't "new," but then you sure made them feel like they were born yesterday when you pulled that upgrade switcheroo. An "upgrade" that costs more and gets me less? That's not an upgrade; that's just daylight robbery with a sim swap and a phone as a prop. And don't even get me started on your "return policy" that magically vanishes faster than a full signal bar in a concrete bunker. Several customer service agents and an app told you I'm eligible, but your store rep decided to rewrite the rules of reality. That's not just a miscommunication; that's a full-blown conspiracy!
When I went back to rectify their daylight robbery, citing their advertised 7-14 day return policy, they hit me with the classic Metro maneuver: "no returns on upgrades." Because why honor your own policies when you can just make them up as you go along? It's less a business model and more a Ponzi scheme with touchscreens.
The third time, when I had customer service on the phone, practically begging them to understand the monumental scam you'd fallen victim to, the store employee had the audacity to lie to my face, then refuse to furnish a receipt. A receipt! Because when you're engaging in activities that might attract the attention of the FBI and local PD for obtaining money under false pretenses and misleading sales scams, documentation is just a liability, isn't it, Metro? You forced this poor soul into a transaction they didn't want, then had the audacity to say "no returns on upgrades" when it was clearly a bait-and-switch. You're charging $230 for a Moto G 5G that apparently doubles as a black hole for customer satisfaction. And when they came back for the third time, you didn't even try to hide the fact that you were just straight-up lying. It's like you're actively trying to get roasted!
So, Metro, next time you advertise a "free phone," maybe just give the free phone. Or better yet, maybe just stop pretending you have a return policy. Because right now, the only thing you're "upgrading" is your customer's frustration, and the only thing "free" is the police report on file. You're not just selling phones; you're selling a masterclass in how to alienate your customers!

They ended up taking the $10 making it to where I couldn't pay my other bil.l so I called them, she told me that I took it off auto pay. Why would I do that knowing the fact that I would have to pay more if I did so. So then she goes to tell me that I wasn't eligible for auto pay even though I've been receiving auto pay for 6 months plus so then I told her that since she took my $10 that I couldn't afford to pay my other bill because that's all I had.
With everything going up in price it's hard to survive anymore so she went to go tell me that she could refund the $10 to my card and if I would hold so she could verify some things on my account. I said sure. She gets back on the phone and she goes to continue to say, "Well since you took it off auto pay we can't do nothing for you." I didn't take it off auto pay. So first she told me I was eligible then she told me I was so she lied to me then she kept blaming it all on me telling me I took it off auto pay and this was my fault. I think they make up things as they go because she literally sat there and said I wasn't eligible for auto pay which I've never heard of such thing in my life and then basically told me I was eligible so it's like which one is it and then literally sat there and told me she was going to refund my $10 and then told me she wasn't and I said that she just said she was going to and she said that she never said that.
I don't think I've ever had anybody raise my blood pressure so high so quickly. I've been with this company for about 8 years and I've never had an issue. I've never been treated so poorly as a customer in my life. They should be ashamed they lie. Their customer service is so poor. I will be switching my service and they will never get a dime out of me ever again. I will never allow any of my friends or my family to go to Metro to be subjected to be treated like that. No customer who pays money deserves to be treated like that....

But I could do it online free, however the website wasn’t working. There was no alternative I then spoke to the rudest “supervisor” Rey ID ** who got on the line and said any other questions? I’m writing to report a very disappointing and dishonest experience I had in one of your stores when trying to set up internet service at my home. As I do not speak English fluently, I trusted the employee to guide me through the process — unfortunately, he took advantage of my situation. He charged me R$ 350 for a “box”, saying it was necessary for the internet to work. Although I found it expensive, I paid because I urgently needed the service.
At the end, he told me I would receive a “bonus”: a speaker. However, when I reviewed the receipt, I saw I was charged an extra R$ 100 for this supposed “gift”. So in truth, he sold me something while pretending it was free — which is dishonest and unacceptable. I feel deceived and taken advantage of. This kind of behavior is completely unethical and unprofessional. I request an immediate review of the charges, a refund of the unjust amount, and that appropriate action be taken regarding the employee involved.

I am a returning customer. I was a very satisfied customer for years until 2019 when I needed to change due to coverage. The coverage got better so I returned in 2023. When I returned, first off, the store wouldn’t let me keep my own Samsung Android and I had to downgrade to an iPhone 11 because they had no other Samsungs to get their deal. I was told I would be eligible for an upgrade in a year. Throughout the year with the worst phone I’ve ever owned in my life, every time I called customer service, I would be reassured that I would be able to upgrade to an Android either for free or at a reduced price once my year was over but I would have to go to the store to do so. The nearest Metro store is about 80 miles from me.
I was finally eligible for the upgrade and was finally able to take the time and gas to get to the store only to be told by what seemed like severely undertrained employees that the store has nothing to do with the customer service and if that was the original offer, it’s likely no longer being offered even though I was told in that store when I switched carriers that was being offered and on the phone multiple times by customer service throughout the year that I would be able to do so. In the meantime they offered to downgrade me further and couldn’t even offer an upgraded phone at a discount. There is no proper communication between the company and the stores.
The staff are unknowledgeable and undertrained. I was lied to and wasted time and money with a company that doesn’t follow through with their end of the bargain. I needed a phone that would function not a piece of junk technology and empty promises. I don’t recommend Metro. They use to be a great company but now it seems they don’t care about their own contracts to their customers so I guess I’ll need to search for a better company.

If I could give zero stars, I would—but unfortunately, one star is the lowest possible rating. Metro by T-Mobile has become an extremely disappointing and frustrating company to deal with. I had an old phone that broke, so I went to a local Metro store to request a SIM card switch to my new phone. Since I wasn’t able to do the transfer myself, the store advised me to call Metro’s customer service line and said the process would be done free of charge.
I followed their instructions and spoke to a customer representative (I didn’t catch his name). He assured me there would be no charge, and the SIM was successfully activated on the new phone. I later noticed a charge, but assumed it was my monthly auto-pay. However, on May 15, I was charged again. I called Metro and was informed that this was a service fee for the SIM switch. I explained the situation, and the representative said she would submit a waiver request to her manager. She told me the refund would be issued to my card within 24 hours—but it never happened.
When I followed up, I spoke with someone named Vick, who claimed to be a manager. (I honestly can’t tell if that was true or if he was just pretending.) He told me that because the SIM switch occurred on May 9 and I was calling on May 16, it was too late to waive the fee. He insisted I needed to have called the same day, which is absolutely untrue and contradicts what I was told before. This kind of inconsistency and misinformation is completely unacceptable. My experience today has confirmed that Metro by T-Mobile is not only unprofessional and disorganized but also indifferent to customer concerns. The lack of accountability, transparency, and basic customer service is just tragic.

You I need help because I can not get it from the customer service Metro number. The agent at the Hulen Street in Fort Worth store cheated me. I was supposed to receive a free phone according to the store promotion as long as I paid for the service. I paid him $240 that is what HE said it was going to cost me. I paid $220 and then another $20 because he said he would throw in a phone case. I asked for the receipt and he said it was in the bag. I got home and the receipt is not even a receipt!!! It list nothing but a lot of gibberish. I saved the receipt.
I look at my account online and it states that I only paid $75. $65 for service and $10 for add ONS I never asked for. I want to report him because I have not been able to use this phone service effectively either!!!! This is by far NOT my first phone service and if someone does not assist me I will report it as a theft, I have tried getting assistance and no one will help me. I am not one to leave bad reviews because I understand accidents and miscommunications happen. THIS WAS NOT that kind of situation. I kind of sensed something was not quite right when he was practically bartering with me.
I asked for the store promotion and he asked me how much money I had to spend. I told him I just wanted a simple phone with a promotion. He told me I could walk out with a phone for no less than $250. I said that did not sound like a promotion. He sensed I was needing a phone and said if I paid cash I could get a deal for $220. I told him I had $200 was walking out. He said he would do it for $200. I was still thinking that was not much of promotion but needed a phone. He said he had a top of the line phone so I reluctantly agreed. He then said it would be $220 for everything including the service and fees. I had already gave him $200 cash. I had to pull out another $20 and then said he said the cover was an extra $50 but he would let me have it for $20.
I ended up paying him a total of $240 cash! I felt taken advantage of and was not feeling like this was much of a promotion. I asked for the receipt and he pulled something off of the register but it had no info on what I paid or anything. I have had nothing but trouble and this entire experience has been stressful to the point for getting literally sick because there is issues with the sim card and then I am not able to access the internet correct. I cannot use the metro service!!!! If this is Metro PC's business and serviced I will tell everyone who will listen and let me say I have a huge following on social media. I know I will not get my money back but if there was a service I will make known of your deceptive practiced AM!!!!

We paid our bill in full on Thursday, we owed ZERO when we left the building. Last night your website DID NOT function and so we literally could do nothing, there was no agent to call late at night when we were notified of new charges. You don't provide service to talk to an agent before we make the payment, which we now cannot do as you've suspended service. Despite my repeated attempts to get a replacement or at least a fix, I was met with excuses and roadblocks instead of solutions. A company selling phones should take responsibility when they turn out to be faulty. The fact that MetroPCS refuses to repair or replace a defective device they sold is unacceptable. If you're considering buying a phone from them, be aware—once they make the sale, you're on your own if something goes wrong. Would not recommend based on this experience.

When I called customer service they said they couldn't access my account because I couldn't receive a text. I had to go back and forth just to access my account. Finally the store pulled up my account and gave me the info so that I can file an insurance claim. Now I'm going back and forth trying to get the replacement phone activated because again I can't access the old phone. It won't charge. This is a common issue.
Batteries die or screens break all the time where you can't see what's on the screen so why am I getting the run around and they are acting like this is something that never happens and they can't do anything. It's all to extort extra fees. If I activate the phone myself there is no fee but unfortunately I can't because they can't figure out how to send the code via email that's on my account already or just ask for the pin verbally when you aren't able to view the screen on an old device. Also, I loved the phone that I had and the price. But recently the past two years that customer service has been piss poor, all the way up to the supervisor. The way that they speak to you is crazy, especially when they were the ones that inconvenienced me for two days. I had two different people to help me yesterday but in the process their system went down and was told to call back in the morning. The ladies never told me a time to call back just in the morning.
I calls back this morning before coming here and I was able to speak with a supervisor. I was trying to explain to her what took place but she yelling cutting me off and had the nerve to say, "The last representative you spoke to was creating miracles. I am not." I hung up and called back and was told I can't make a formal complaint. At this point I want to go to another carrier due to no support from customer services and the customer service alone.

Right now I am on with MetroPCS. I recently downgraded my plan after relocating and being out of remote work for a spell. The data plan decrease made service shotty. I paid my bill for March. Cool! I called later that eve to upgrade summating it'd pro-rate to my next bill. Nah, "you pay now,"! I ain't got it. I will rock with my limited plan until next month. I just landed a part-time gig in the hood while I finish my classes and apply for remote work. Where is the empathy?! I expressed my dismay and disclosed that I was taking my service to greener pastures. We know how that goes, right, right?? Ha! I digress.
The rep agreed and instead removed data storage and protection. Zero balance due. That subsided my main concern and her saving grace. What is NOT is my hold time! I have 4 solid years in call center and customer service. She exceeded the lax of call times. Two to three is the norm with experience and skill, half that. She had me on for 8 to 10 minutes, TWICE! Gurl, bye! I dealt because I needed receipts like Metro Pcs needs to appreciate my years of service. This economy is crazy for most of us, and taxes have yet to cease! Two years ago I switched over to Spectrum for a home internet and phone deal. After that package was up I came back to MetroPCS but the service that I remember in the past is not today. First of all coverage is bad. Takes a long time to access my bank account or initialize a voice message. Secondly I took the $60 a month plan as I had in the past. He said, "No. It's $70" I said, "Where do you get $70 from?" I told him.
I said, "I took the $60 a month plan." He says, "It's only $60 a month if you get autopay. Otherwise it's $65 a month plus the $5 fee if you pay in store." this was not explained to me by the store representative of the store where I got my phone. What a rip and plus the coverage isn't as good as it used to be before T-Mobile bought them and just before and just before I came to pay my bill I was talking to another gentleman who said he was having issues with his phone that he just recently got and guess who the service provider is? T-Mobile. I don't see how they stay in business. Their service is so lousy. Anyway I'll probably be going back to Spectrum. Their service was better. He lied and said he emailed my receipt, but receipt never appeared in my Inbox. There is no record of my purchasing the new phone and the only item/product listed on my account is the cost of a device upgrade of $26. What happened to the gift card funds and the $393 in cash?
This is shameful and Metro needs cameras installed to watch their employees or implement another system where it's impossible to steal the cash handed over to them. Also, Metro PCS is not getting accurate numbers as far as sales because the numbers are not being recorded, which is how money is being taken. So very sad that some of the customer service representatives can not be trusted and they are supposed to be in the business of providing a service. I reported the gentleman to customer service and the DM will be getting involved according to Metro PCS.

I've been a customer with Metro for years and they authorized a sale I didn't approve of. I called customer service to get my PIN because I can't access my account online because of a mistake they made. Called, spoke to the supervisor and he hung up on me and it's Christmas Day and this is the first thing I wake up to. Arguing with the supervisor for their bad customer service agents and their mishap. They don't care about losing their valuable customers. I hope this entire business vanishes like Sprint did.

I am an 80 something elder widow with a monthly account for my phone. I have had my same phone number with Metro PCS for over 10 year. I am trying to update my phone so that I may stay in contact with my children and other family members. However, Metro PCS says I need some kind of high level password to access my account. I don't remember creating a high level password and more importantly I can't remember the pin. Metro PCS will not help me or provide a new pin number. Metro PCS staff have made me visit a store to get the pin but the representative told me they could not help.
This is the worst experience I had with any company during my adult years. I strongly urge all elderly adults to stay away from this company. They will take my payments each month with no problem but can't lift a finger to help me get into my account. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY!!!

Nowhere did they mention that if you have reached your data limit that all of your phone service is suspended. Being on SSI I have to conserve my money. Picked 15.00 dollar plan. 2 GB of data. Mostly use Wi-Fi. But I reached my data limit and all services are suspended. They will not let you talk to a representative until you make a payment. Do not put your family with this carrier. They will be left without service in the event of an emergency.

Been with Metro since 2015 consistently, never missed a payment and really never had any problems. Customer service is generally very helpful and polite. But today I needed clarification about a issue with my account after I added another line, and got a tablet with a special promotion that they had. The tablet was a Xmas gift for grandson (a child) and I intended to activated it on Xmas Day when giving it to them. However today Metro automatically activated the tablet without my permission, as the tablet is mine. The promotion was to to acquire the tablet paying $20 that day. And $20 monthly on my account. Well today one of lines was suspended. The agent "Honey **" said was because there was $20 due on the tablet. Well my due date is 1/12 and when I tried to get a logical clarification from her, she was sarcastic, condescending, close to being rude.
When I stated that I needed to speak to someone else, she stated there was "no one in the entire Metro company to speak to". How can that be? I do not know what country these calls are routed to, but I live in the US and I speak English, wherever it is there is a great language barrier, coupled with too many agents with a true willingness to actually provide at least decent customer service. I am now cancelling my extra line and the tablet since I feel that Metro does not appreciate my consistent business or me. It must be time to take my money elsewhere.

I am very unhappy with this service and their devices are terrible. the only reason I am still with them is I can't afford to go somewhere else, purchase a new phone and have to get a new number

After spending over $120 a month for one single phone line at Verizon Wireless Along with poor customer service there I decided to give Metro a try. Definitely glad I did. Definitely glad I had a unlock phone then I brought with me. Made the process much easier. Porting my number very easy process. Just make sure you have your account number porting PIN number. After spending over $120 a month definitely very nice to be saving $70 a month. Very happy with my experience at that Olympia, Washington store.

Close it out apps before I can use them, and when I contacted customer service multiple times I was sent to actual MetroPCS stores to Walmart. Just got the complete runaround and would do absolutely nothing about it. It was a total 100% loss. I would not recommend them whatsoever. Their agents in the store are rude. The dude at Kensington Metro PCS in Buffalo is a joke. Not only did we tell him we did not want to spend more than $500 (immediately after he asked if we had $750 to spend, but I also don't know if this moron was deaf, dumb, or just plain ignorant and not listening to the customers instead of his pockets. So, we got two Galaxy's A15 5G and the home internet box. Mind you my friend has the SAME phone through Verizon, and it works wonderful.
On the third day of having my phone I had to take it back as the speaker did not work (head piece/listening piece) and after he tried to tell me nothing can be done (not realizing this customer knows the law and well) I finally got a replacement phone. Still had to pay the $25 fee for activation. So, now while we were pissed off, he really tried to sell us more lines!!!! This man at the Kensington Metro PCS is just plain ignorant.
He will try to over talk you if you are a vulnerable person and think of more commission money than the customer's needs. This is why I am happy Trump made it. To get scumbags like this guy out of our country. Go back to where you came from. Now, go elsewhere for phone and service. My service also sucks. Typing a message takes three times longer as you need to keep going back to see what the very defective phones spelled out that makes no sense in reality. Dumbest "smart phone" are at Metro PCS.

Well, that didn't happen and now I'm being told my old plan no longer exist and in order to get prime I needed to upgrade my plan which is making my plan rate go up. I explained this is not my fault, it's the customer service rep who touched my plan. They didn't care. I've been with Metro Pcs for years and I've never had an issue, until recently. I wanted to upgrade my phone and because I am an existing customer, I was told I had to go to the actual store, so I did so and when I entered the Metro store, employees were eating in the phone display area and I advised them the price customer service said I was eligible for the upgrade, they had a ridiculous jacked up price, and the price of the phone kept charging, I advised them that I would call customer service while they're in the store, as I made the call to customer service the played and turned up the music, where I had to exit the store to hear the conversation the rep from customer service and I were having.
It was a nightmare, I had to leave and didn't want to deal with that store, the next issue was with the customer service people on the phone, they say one thing then change it to something different, I spent 2 hours and 15 minutes on the phone with a supervisor Christina I.D. # ** and nothing was accomplished, I asked her for Corporate # or someone above her and she claimed not to have a number for corporate. I have been a MetroPCS customer for more than 15 years, and I have never had any complaints about my service; however, just recently, I visited one of their stores because I had a problem with my phone. When I arrived at the store, the doors were closed, but the business hours were from 9:00 to 6:00, and it was already 10:00 a.m. I couldn't find anybody, so I looked around. I saw a girl kissing a guy in a car; it never occurred to me that the same girl was the customer service girl who had closed the store to be with that guy outside. I decided to go to another location, and as soon as I walked into that location, the two girls who were at the counter were smoking weed. They ended up helping me out, but at this point, I had already decided to permanently take my business somewhere else. Thank you, metro, for all the years of good service, but it's time to move on.
