Metro does not listen to paying customers that have been a member since 2017. They suck. They don’t speak good English. It’s horrible. I have had the worst experience today 04/17/2026. Not happy. Very upset.

If I'm in an airport with my wife, and ask why I don't have service but she does... don't give me BS about the building being thick when it's made of windows. Verizon apparently can get a signal to its paying customers. If y'all can't then what do you expect the end results to be? That's right. Give me service the rest of my trip or you will not receive another payment from me.

This had to be the worst phone I ever had. Young lady from Tampa, Florida on 56th and Hillsborough Street Metro PCS gave me the worst phone ever and I knew it was bad when it still had the battery that you take out from the back of the phone. I didn't even know they made that type of phone still.. Can't do anything basically with this phone. I have to keep taking the battery out from the back and rebooting it. And customer service do not care.

Customer service was a joke. I was on the phone over an hour because my service has been turning itself on and off hundreds of times out through the day for 2 months and I got told that's not their problem and they're not willing to do anything about it or compensate for their crappy service and that was from a manager.

Soon as Metropcs competitors come knocking for new customers best believe I'm switching and I'm telling everyone how I was lied to twice and I'm seeking legal support.

I would not recommend this phone carrier for service. The quality has really, really gone done within the past year. Live customer care is no longer 24 hours a day. If there is a problem with service after hours you might as well discontinue using the phone until the next day. The automated service SUCKS! It takes repeated attempts for it to recognize what you are saying. It doesn't give a push a number option until after multiple failed attempts to recognize what is being said. I was told by a phone rep. that they did not believe it was my phone with an issue. There seems to be trouble with their towers. I was told by a customer care agent I was on a bad tower that was being maintenanced but the one I was told I was switched to is even worse. Dropped called, spotty internet, delayed text, are just some of the issues I am currently having.
I believe it to be intentional because it all started when I declined to upgrade my device. Prior to the upgrade offer service was fine. Since my decline the service has declined. That and the fact my promotional rate is no longer offered and I keep ignoring their switch to a new plan at much higher pricing offers. Right now, literally, I have to wait until the next day until the call center opens to pay my bill because the system is down for maintenance. If you are looking for long term service save yourself the headache of being nickled and dimed down the road and just start with a reputable carrier. If you are okay with a quick and easy, right now carrier than this is the one for you.

Do not use them. They have no idea what they are doing. They transfer your number and screw up then blame the phone. Then they say 72 hours to get your number back. Which means you have no phone. I had to get a new number after having mine for 25 years. They are worthless. Go somewhere else. They have no clue how to run a company. They only got 1 because l could not leave a 0.

I cancelled my little brother phone line once he passed away before the next billing date. The representative over the phone told me that the account was noted as cancelled but I would have to go in to a store to do finalize it. At no time did they mention I would continue to be charged. The next month they charged the account so I went to the store. Apparently they couldn’t cancel it either unless I went to a corporate store. The hospital won’t send the phone back so when I called up the corporate to confirm. If they could cancel it if we came in they said it would be very difficult. I would have better luck going to my bank and asking them to block future payment to Metro. I will be canceling my membership for my own line with MetroPCS as it seems they intentionally make it a problem for anyone to cancel. Bad business.

Have been a customer of Metro for over 10+ years and have never had an issue until recently. I bought an iphone 17 pro through their website and online they make it seem like it is super easy to upgrade. It has been the worst experience of my life. Visited 3 stores and no help. All of them simply called customer service and was told every time they will talk to their supervisor, escalate it, submit a ticket and to wait 72 hours for a response.
I myself have called about 12 times and its ALWAYS an excuse. There is a glitch, there is an error, my system isn't loading, etc. Oh and also their favorite thing to do is to say "I will be right back" and just leave you there. I literally waited over 40 mins with a supervisor named Chris who never came back to the phone. They do that so you will hang up and won't have to deal with you. So I have had a brick for a phone for 10 days now with no end in sight. Can't return it 'cause I lost the return label and they also can't unlock it unless it has been IN SERVICE FOR A YEAR for you to be able to take it to another company since it is locked to them. All I want is to upgrade my new device and activate it. Why is that so hard???? Do yourself a favor and stay away from this HORRIBLE company.

Service isn't too bad until your 10 days away from your date of payment. Because as of today now my service is crap. But soon as I pay the bill it's back to working right without it dropping my Google.. I have unlimited everything and they do this every month. I've called and complained. I'm going to get in touch with BBB next if they don't stop this shit. There's no reason every month Every time this rap happens right here in open area and it says I'm losing signal and loss connection. I've been here 10 yrs or 9 yrs, that a whole lot of money they owe me for doing this crap since day one every month. I am sick of them doing this. I am not going to let anyone else be robbed as I am to 10 days every month when I'm unlimited and they are blocking my service basically.
When every month it happens 10 days before bill due date, then soon as I pay my bill everything works great until 10 days before the next months bill is due. So you get almost 20 days of phone not dropping or losing connection as it says on my screen, then pay my bill and wow. Not a single issue until the next month 10 days before it's bill is due. This has to be illegal and I had it, I'm running a business off my phone and I'm losing money over they're greediness. I'm going file complaints and see about getting all my payments back since I been getting robbed. And whomever else sees this and has same issue let me know. I'm tired of being robbed when I pay my bills. P.o.s. company doing this to they're customers.

I had to switch to a new phone. The procedure for switching service to a new phone without using customer service is a joke. After I had my new phone connected, I assumed they would include the 26 dollar fee on my upcoming fee. Instead they disconnected my service the very next day. I had to go to a Metro store to figure out why I had no service because they never notified me that I had to pay the fee immediately. My husband and I have been customers of Metro PCS for over 6 years, and I pay for insurance on My husband and I have been customers of Metro PCS for over 6 years and we pay insurance on both of our phones. My husband was using his phone and as soon as he gets off the phone, the screen goes black and then he can't call out or receive calls on his phone. You can hear the phone ringing and hear the notification when he gets his text messages but you can't see anything. We went to the Metro PCS store and they gave us a number to call to make a claim so that my husband could get a replacement phone. However, one of the representatives tell me that they have to send a verification code to his phone since we didn't remember the pin for our account.
After explaining to them again that the phone is not working properly and you can't see anything because the screen is broken, they tell us that they can't help us because the code has to be sent to the phone that the claim is being made for. I then ask how can you send a code for us to verify if the screen is not coming on for us to see it. There are two phones on this account and the code can be sent to the other phone like the first representative did but somehow we were disconnected. I then asked for a supervisor but then they say there are none to talk to at this time because they are all on a call. After going back and forth for over an hour with approximately three or four different representatives, the gentleman says that since we've been paying for insurance, they were going to upgrade his phone and there's no fee to get it just give the claims department some information that he gave us.
Then the claims department representative tells me and my husband that we have to pay $60 for the replacement phone although we've been paying insurance on them, and not to mention that once we receive the replacement phone, we then have to send the old one back, or there is another fee. What is the purpose of paying for insurance on your phones if it's not going to cover the old one. We didn't have a problem with sending the old one back, but we feel that it's a rip off to pay insurance on the phones for years just to have to pay for a replacement phone, and this is the first time that we have ever tried to file a claim, and oh, once we get the replacement phone, then we have to pay for the activation fee also. I would have given 0 stars if I could, we are very dissatisfied with Metro PCs after being faithful customers for so many years.

Date issue began: March 4, 2026. Company: Metro by T-Mobile. On March 4, 2026, I switched my phone service from Cricket Wireless to Metro by T-Mobile through their online activation system. I decided to switch because Metro advertised a promotion for customers who port their number from another carrier offering an iPhone 13 for $55 per month. My intention during the activation process was to transfer my existing phone number (**) from Cricket and receive the iPhone 13 promotion for switching carriers. However, instead of processing the promotion, the system simply transferred my number and activated service on my existing unlocked phone. I was charged a $25 activation fee, but the promotion that motivated the switch was never applied.
Immediately after the number transfer, my phone completely lost service. I had no cellular connection or internet access while I was on the road. At no point during the activation process was I warned that my service could be interrupted or that I might need Wi-Fi or another device to complete the activation. Being left without service in that situation was extremely stressful and could have been dangerous if an emergency had occurred.
Since then, I have contacted Metro customer support more than eight times trying to resolve this issue. Several representatives told me they could not help, and in some cases my calls were disconnected before the issue was resolved. As a result, my number was transferred and I was charged an activation fee, but the promotion that influenced my decision to switch carriers was not honored. Resolution requested: I request that Metro by T-Mobile either apply the advertised iPhone 13 switcher promotion to my account or reverse the activation so I can complete the process correctly and qualify for the promotion.

She needed it so she was excited. They told her they wanted her to pay $300. I said that’s ridiculous and she agreed. We walked out the door and after we did amazingly they lowered the phone to like $100. I believe I end up paying 70 and she paid 30 and we ended up getting her the new phone. Her bill was $35and that was all of it within two weeks. We purchased an Internet box per the advertisement was $50. The next month we paid $135. And that was all of it within two weeks. We purchased a Internet box per the advertisement was $50. The next month we paid $135 now it’s two months later and the bill says $178.
My elderly sister went up to the store twice to try to understand why and they told her a bunch of verbal garbage. When I got off of work I said let me go since I was there both times when he said how much the bill would be. When I got there the verbal garbage began. Getting a supervisor on the phone and saying that they could do nothing. My sister was so frustrated. She said cancel the phone after I told him that they say, "We’ll work with you." The sales person then said, "How much can you pay today." I said, "145 as she quoted me." Pay the 145. He gave me a bogus receipt and he did not provide the service. I have been with MetroPCS for years. It's low cost and no hidden fees was a plus for me. I have two lines, myself and my son. I bought a new phone and wanted to switch my line over. The app wasn't working so I called customer service. They were able to do it, and waved the switching fee as this was my first time in 12 months with a new phone. After it's complete I realize the woman had switched my son's line to the new phone. Even after confirming with me which line was switching. I called back realizing my son is out in a blizzard now with no phone and no way to contact him. The customer service tells me that I have to wait as the lines are processing and there is nothing that can be done. I drove to my son in a blizzard to bring him a phone.
The next morning I call and explain. It takes over an hour on the phone with them, but they get the lines fixed and assure me they are waving the fees as this was there error. Appreciated it, thanked them. Next morning I get a text saying I have a bill due and I have 24 hours to pay or my phone is getting shut off. That's crazy, I've never missed a payment. I sign in and it's a fee for switching phone lines. I call, 45 minutes and the woman finally fixes it. I check my app, it says I don't owe anything.
Next morning I wake up and go to call my husband. My phone has been shut off for lack of payment. I check the app. It's a such line fee. I apply the extension offered, so that I can call and customer service can fix this. I try calling 611 but the call won't go out. I call the 888 number and the bot won't put me through to a live agent because my account is suspended. So I pay the $28 and call back. Customer service tells me that there's nothing they can do besides apply a discount to my next bill. A drive thru a blizzard to make sure my son has a way to reach the outside world, 4 hours on the phone being constantly assured that THIS agent is going to be the agent to set this right for me, and $28 to switch a phone line that they assured me originally could be done through the app for free.

The service manager asked me to drive to MetroPCS because I told her that I needed my phone because I was stranded and I needed to communicate with my doctors and also my bank. They were going to try to process an issue me a new card upon going into the Metro store, I had a service person that’s supposed to be taking care of my situation. This guy look like he was high in on drugs. He was trying to charge the pad the tablet that they gave me. It was actually not working, which I have been to that store several times and even complain about the tablet not working, which I even also had the guy plug it up. I waited a whole hour while I was in my car talking to my bank to try to resolve my payment issue.
I do not like the fact that I called him twice and was at that store from exactly 1 o’clock until 7 o’clock in the evening trying to get my issue resolved if it wasn’t for the other service tech that was there in MetroPCS I wouldn’t have got anything done at one point through the day. When I first started the guy that was waiting on me. He actually went into the back and forgot about me standing outside. My bank manager got irritated and asked for a supervisor. The person that I talked to for MetroPCS on the phone, she never even put in to the computer what I was looking for. I just got brushed off so then when I called the supervisor in the evening, she stated that she didn’t even see anything in the computer where I was having issues so this guy was so messed up in the store. He didn’t even go inside a computer to let them know that I was on the phone with my bank manager. Poor customer service.
Also, I am searching to go back to T-Mobile because how I was treated was ridiculous. Once I do get money on my debit card. I have gotten the situation under control. I am going to look for a new carrier and give them back their piece of a tablet because they gave me a tablet that does not work. It took me all day to get that tablet to even charge so that I could go into my bank account and transfer for funds to where I need it. I suggest that MetroPCS in the near future get their customer service together to where as though they can actually take calls and also train their staff inside the stores that is not good to be high on drugs when you’re taken care of a customer I have had it with MetroPCS. I will be getting another service from T-Mobile or somewhere else I will never use this company again. I was also told by the last customer service agent that my phone would not be turned off.
I also repeated to them twice that I will be calling my bank in the morning so that they can do that SCH test on my account from my debit card so that they can send the funds so that if it goes through, then I can actually put in my regular amount to pay my phone bill I wake up this morning, which they told me that my phone service will still be on so I went to go call my bank to do the transaction and my phone was cut off so no I will not. I am really tired of this situation and what was done to me was wrong. They need better staff and people on the phone that actually record and take care of people that are buying from MetroPCS I wouldn’t even suggest anybody sign up with this phone company. They need to do better.

One star is one too many! My friend broke his phone and they have made it impossible to switch his service that he just paid for to another device. It should be simple but he can’t get into his account with completing 2FA and entering a code the send to a phone that he broke. Customer service couldn’t fixture out any other verification method after hours on chat and a phone call. They told him he had to go in person the next day to a store and he did. While at the store they helped him change his security questions and updated his email and told him that in 24th or less he would receive an email link from them that would get him into his account. That email never came so he calls and is being interrogated about the things he had told them he has tried and never once had any representative even attempted to fix it. All they do is argue with him and make him repeat himself.
Whoever is in quality control should be fired along with the reps that provide zero service to a customer with multiple products (which are below par at best) and has stuck around way longer than he should have. It’s going into the 4th day without a phone for no reason. It is unacceptable that no one in customer service knows how to help a customer at all. Do something to fix this! For real.

This worker took advantage of the opportunity to take advantage of him and sold him a new ph and a tablet for $180. Took him back to return the phone and tablet for a refund. Found out he has been paying $72 a month for 2 phs and 2 tablets BUT he only has 1 ph and 1 tablet. So if I hadn't been aware of what happened today he would be paying for 3 phones and 3 tablets.
The face of the man that sold him the phone and tablet today showed he knew he was wrong. Since I would not back down they refunded his money for the purchase today BUT we have to jump through hoops to have the other ph and tablet removed from his account. This is a complaint against Metro T-Mobile, located at 1426 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ, for unfair and deceptive business practices involving my 93-year-old mother. My mother has exclusively used an iPhone for many years and relies on it daily to FaceTime family, send texts, take photos, and stay connected. Her phone is linked to her iPad, making Apple compatibility essential. When her iPhone stopped working, she went to this Metro T-Mobile location for assistance. Instead of being properly advised, she was sold an Android phone for $227. She was not informed that the Android device was incompatible with her Apple devices, that her data would not transfer, or that she would lose access to FaceTime and other services she uses daily. No attempt was made to transfer her data, and the store took her iPhone, leaving her disconnected and distressed.
She returned to the store twice seeking help and was told nothing could be done. When I traveled from out of state to assist her and spoke with the manager, I was again refused help and directed to a customer service phone number that provided no resolution. The store claimed the sale was an “upgrade” on my brother’s T-Mobile account and therefore non-refundable, despite the sale being entirely inappropriate for an elderly customer. I ultimately purchased an iPhone for her through another provider and restored her data with their technical support. However, my mother remains out $227 due to Metro T-Mobile’s refusal to correct this situation. I believe this conduct represents lack of disclosure, failure of informed consent, and exploitation of an elderly consumer. I respectfully request that this matter be investigated and that restitution be required.

I actually have started to use Xfinity WI-FI that I pay $10.00 a month just to be able to use my phone. So T-Mobile/Metro by T-Mobile does not seem to have the best coverage. I have been a customer of Metro for over 12 years; a few months ago I was offered a “free” upgrade from a Galaxy A14 5g to a A15 5g, but I was required to pay $25 for shipping. I paid the $25. A few days ago, I called Customer service and asked for the advantage of the new phone, and was told the A15 had double the memory. So I went to the Walmart and bought a waterproof case etc. and today with the help of customer service changed it over. The lady, Jen, was very nice and spent over an hour. Together we went the through the settings, and then when we verified that the phone had 128 GB storage –oops, no it only had 64 GB storage. So I spent over 3 hours and $30 for no benefit for me.
While waiting for her supervisor I was disconnected, so I needed to start all over! The customer service supervisor suggested that I send back the phone!!! He was not willing to send me a gift card for, or a SIM card with the 128 GB. To follow this plan I would need to spend over an hour to reactivate the old A14, and then mail back the A15. The “standard” SIM card comes with 128 GB. But not Metro’s.
[Check this link: **] So, BUYER BEWARE. The customer service supervisor even implied he’d rather I meet Metro’s rep in my local small claims court to have the judge decide. (Since I was an officer of the court, I know the cost to Metro will be $5,000 - $8,000 just for its lawyer to appear. I have no cost, except my time.) The supervisor has worked in that capacity for over 20 years. Makes me wonder what kind of training he received. So there was absolutely no benefit for me to change from a A-14 to an A-15. I would add a receipt to verify I am a customer, but all I have is my account.

On top of that this phone drops calls consistently, mobile data rarely has signal. The service is less than second rate on 3 of the 4 phones that we have on this plan. Metro PCS is sadly incompetent. My sister, who is special needs and needs help with things, had their service. She broke her phone, and she got her a new phone through them. They gave her a new phone number with the new phone, but apparently never turned off her previous phone line that was specific to her broken phone! Subsequently, I went in the store with her and first asked them why she couldn’t just keep her same phone number, as I always have with Verizon, whenever I’ve gotten a new phone?!. They said something about how numbers are contracted and said it was actually cheaper for her to get her a new phone number for her new phone. So we accepted the fact that she now has a new number.
I gave them a credit card that we paid the current bill with, and which they were supposed to use to automatically withdraw from for the bill each month. Then I called the old number and it was still active, so I told them to MAKE SURE that line was cut OFF! The next month, the service for her new phone number service was cut off, with no warning. And yet AGAIN, the old line associated with the OLD phone was still active! Apparently we were charged for service for the old phone instead of the new one!! So we went back in there and told them “you cut off the wrong line and you did it without even any warning.” We explained we want the old line CUT OFF and the new number line REACTIVATED. We paid for them to do that and again, I gave them the credit card to pay the current bill AND to use for automatic withdrawal for future billing.
Then, just tonight I got a call from her on someone else’s phone and she said her service had been cut off AGAIN, for lack of payment!!. Again, without any warning!! I called the old number, and AGAIN it went straight to voicemail and appears to still be active!! We will be going to their store tomorrow to CANCEL both lines and any account we ever had with them. We’re going to go with another company, maybe Verizon, which I have. Verizon may be expensive, but at least they are COMPETENT, and you don’t have to deal with bullshit like this!!

I paid my monthly payment and my service still not active. I talked with customer service last month and she said it’s a must to pay $9 because I changed my old phone. I bought my current used phone from outside of MetroPCS. They charged me a service fee when I switched phones. But Why are they forcing me to pay $9 dollars monthly when I didn’t agree to it?

Metro by T-Mobile is COMPLETELY UNSUITABLE for foreign companies requiring local mobile providers during their work in the United States. A NUMBER OF UNPROFESSIONAL and UNACCEPTABLE issues include (but not limited to):
Hidden extra fees for overseas texting and calling
Mobile Hotspot tethering DOES NOT WORK with overseas phones
Read-only APN access, inability to fix anything without a phone call to T-Mobile support
RIDICULOUS "black boxing" of wireless gateway equipment which we PAID FOR and OWN. We can't even MANAGE OUR OWN DEVICES. Wildly insulting and condescending "T-Life" app only for very basic wifi settings like WAP keys etc. T-Mobile clearly thinks it is acceptable to treat customers like Luddite little children (e.g. you aren't allowed to change anything).
Very slow and cumbersome activation process
OVERSEAS CREDIT CARD DO NO PROCESS PAYMENT because their stupid website has a contrived limitation that every credit card address in the world uses US-style five digit postcodes (UK actually uses letters, Australia uses four digits ETC) just stupid.
YOU HAVE TO BE ON HOLD WITH THEIR SUPPORT FOR EVERY LITTLE THING!
None of this is explained to you when you buy the service. Deceptive. More like this. T-Mobile is unbelievably dishonest, condescending and uncaring company. AVOID METRO BY T-MOBILE IF YOU ARE FROM OVERSEAS.

I visited the Metro by T-Mobile at 5210 Chamberlayne Road Richmond VA 23227 on Friday 10/24/25 in the afternoon to exchange a defective gateway. I spoke with customer service previously regarding the device that I purchased on 9/30/25. Customer Service attempted multiple times to reset the gateway and they were unsuccessful. Customer service also and shared that I could exchange the device as I remained in my 30-day window. I also called a representative at the store of purchase and shared the same information on Thursday 10/23/25. The agent was polite and shared that I should bring the gateway to the store, but they closed at 8 pm. On Friday 10/24/25 I walked into the store and encountered a very disrespectful, unhelpful and somewhat mocking agent who attempted to bully me into making a purchase instead of a fair exchange.
The agent did not attempt to access my account at any time while I was in the store. He attempted to replace the cord on the device. The device illuminated but continued to search for a signal and immediately disconnect. The agent told me I could surrender my purchased device for two weeks or purchase a new cord for $25 dollars. I questioned why I could not exchange the product. He then there would be an additional restocking fee. I asked if I could speak to a different manger and he shared he was the only manager and that this was his business. I called customer service on the phone while in store and customer service shared that I could exchange the device. Customer service requested to speak with the manager, and he refused to speak with them over the phone. The manager never accessed my account at any time.
I called the police for assistance, and he told them he refused to help me at this time because I called the officer. The office asked him again if he could assist me, as I had my original receipt and original device. He told the officer he would not help me because I called the police. He then asked the officer for my name and picture so he could make all of his employees aware that I am no longer allowed to visit his store. Throughout the exchange he continued to laugh with his friend who remained in the store charging his phone and laughing as well during this exchange. He also shared he would post the exchange on TikTok. I visited the store after speaking with customer service who informed me that I could exchange my product. This retailer refused to honor the 30-day exchange window, tried to up sell me additional products, would not assist me unless I made another purchase.
This is deplorable business practice that ended with me receiving a trespassing notice as I attempted to exchange my device. If he had the time to laugh, joke and make fun of his customers; he also had the time to access my account and review the comments added by customer service. I received a card from the officer with the report number and was told I could access the report later that day. The manager followed the officer and I outside laughing and making jokes. At one time he went to the store next door as I spoke with the officer outside to engage in more conversation of how he would upload this event to TikTok. I filed a corporate complaint with MetroPCS, as well as a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of VA. I shared information with every organization and union where I'm currently registered. I also know how to use TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Threads and Yelp.
I was the only female in a store with 2 males. The manager attempted to intimidate me into making purchase. Metro by T-Mobile must do a better job ensuring that your retailers understand your business model, as well as ensure that your retailers continue to honor your warranty and exchange policies. I'm currently looking for other service options. FYI... Definition A breach of contract is a violation of any of the agreed-upon terms and conditions of a binding contract. This can include anything from failing to make a payment on time to not delivering goods or services as promised. Breaches can occur in both written and oral contracts

If I could give Metro by T-Mobile a negative star rating, I would. This isn't a phone company; it’s a poorly organized scam dressed up in magenta marketing. My experience over the last six months has been an absolute, soul-crushing nightmare centered entirely around their customer service and their truly predatory billing practices. First, let's talk about billing. They operate on a bait-and-switch business model. They tell you about a credit and then next day is a lie.
Then, there’s the so-called customer service. It’s not service; it’s torture. The wait times are prehistoric, and when you finally get a person, they either barely speak intelligible English or they treat you with such condescension you wonder if they actively hate their customers. They have this scripted, robotic response for every single issue. Do yourself a favor: if you value your time, your sanity, and every single penny in your bank account, run screaming in the opposite direction. The low monthly cost is a complete illusion; you pay for it in frustration and constant hidden fees.

They would never contact me the problems never resolved. The last time I contacted the customer service on tech support the guy was very rude and not helpful at all. He wasted about an hour of my time to let me know that it would be 24 hours before the problem would be resolved. It must be something that told to say because I heard the same thing every time I called about the problem. So if you are thinking about getting Metro by T-Mobile I would shop around first. I then called in again today because I noticed nothing had gotten done and the representative I spoke to today said there is nothing showing I even spoke to a representative at the beginning of the month.
I was told since there is nothing showing in their system that I even spoke to a representative earlier this month and no notes were made in the system about the conversation I had with this other representative that they could not honor the billing price I was given when I spoke to the representative at the beginning of the month and I ended up having to pay $7 more than I was originally told and I had to change my plan to a much lower plan that gives me talk, text and almost no data. I have had service with almost every carrier and I have had more problems with Metro by T-Mobile than I ever had with any other carrier, so please be advised that Metro by T-Mobile does not stand by their word.
Also when buying a phone for the first time with them I did not receive a brand new phone, I was given a refurbished phone and I asked them about it and they swore up and down it was a new phone but my best friend who does phone repair is the one who told me the phone was refurbished and it happened a second time when my phone got stolen on the 3rd from buying the phone. I had insurance on the phone and it was supposed to be under warranty as well but I had to pay full price for another phone and again was given a refurbished phone. So instead of buying 2 new phones I ended up paying full price for 2 refurbished phones. I called customer service about that when it had happened and Metro by T-Mobile did nothing to help me when that had happened. I hope no one else has to go through what I have gone through. So, of course, I had to get a new phone.
After transferring the info to the new phone, it still was acting the same. No one was getting my photos or texts! An older woman who was sitting there waiting to pay her bill said to the clerk, "You need to take the SIM card out and put it back in to reset the phone because when you transfer info to the new phone, everything is transferred with it, even the SIM card." The clerk said, "No, that has nothing to do with it." So, I said, "Humor me, let's try it." Guess what? IT WORKED!
