Metro PCS employees will lie to you and keep lying! Their supervisor will not do anything about it or honor the lie! I don’t feel like I’m a value customer and the first chance I get I will be leaving and going to another company! I really just feel, as if they stole money from me and this is not the first time this has happened!

CORPORATE SCAMMERS & PREDATORY BOTTOM-FEEDERS – AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Rating: 0/5 Stars. If you enjoy being robbed in broad daylight, Metro by T-Mobile is the place for you. I bought two identical Motorola G Power devices and activated two lines. One phone worked; the other was a total "lemon" right out of the box—confirmed by their own Executive Response Team (Ligia ***), who admitted in writing that the device itself was the problem. But here is the scam: Despite admitting they sold me defective hardware, they refused a refund because I was supposedly outside a pathetic 14-day "policy". They are effectively forcing customers to pay for broken garbage and then charging monthly service fees for a device that CANNOT USE THE SERVICE.

I’ve wasted over 60 days dealing with their incompetent "support" and even had to escalate this to the California Public Utilities Commission (File No: **). They would rather fight a customer over a $200 refund than follow the California Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act. They offered me a measly $100 "goodwill credit" to try and shut me up while I’m out nearly $400 in hardware and service fees. Keep your "goodwill"—I’m taking you to Orange County Small Claims Court. To anyone reading this: Do not give these people a single cent of your hard-earned money. They are predatory, their "policies" are a joke, and they have zero respect for consumer law. You’ve been warned.

This is the worst phone company. They changed my number without my knowledge or consent. They explained nothing. I had to ask the lady to write my phone down that she gave me. She was rude and nasty. Never explained price and never got any documentation showing me what I was paying for. She lied to me telling me my other number was canceled. It was not then after all this I went to any other phone company and Metro refused to release the number I paid for. They played games and lied to me. They should be reported to the Attorney General’s office. It cannot be legal everything they did.

This by far has to be the worst phone company ever from in-house customer service to phone customer service. There was an agent that had me on mute for an hour got on the phone and tried to pretend she was a supervisor. When I reported this to the supervisor he did nothing. The store reps are very racist and gender phobic. They don’t like women and they don’t like ** and I’m both of those. This is happening in several different stores in two different states. It has to be something to it. They don’t follow their own guidelines and don’t follow their procedures. I bought the phone. Now I’m stuck 'cause I can’t get them to unlock it even though this is the worst service I’ve ever had.

I've always liked that you could get a free phone by switching to Metro but the service, especially lately has sucked... The phone quality varies, some are decent but this new moto g 2026 is terrible! Also the in person stores are running scams.. I'm in the middle of looking into the Kelly Sq Metro store in Worcester MA because they sold me a phone, but secretly tried to add on accessories w/o asking me if I even wanted them, then when I told them I didn't want all that extra stuff, they removed it, but then still tried to charge me $30 extra and claim it to be service fees...

Once I looked at the receipt (that they weren't even trying to give me at first,) I seen they actually still charged me for a wall charger that I didn't need, trying to claim that it comes with the phone, lol, well if that's the case then why aint it free right???? I got a refund for the charger, but this phone is weird and they didn't even put in an active SIM card for me...

I had to call customer service just to figure that out too, then I had to go back down there and tell them to put a SIM card in it. They tried telling me it had an eSim which it did, but was told by a different store this particular phone (along with a few others) doesn't work good with the eSims. They finally gave it to me, but that was when I told them I just wanted my warranty and a new phone... This phone is still acting weird though... I also have a random email with my name on it that keeps popping up in my account, saying it hasn't been verified yet but it's not my email, so idk where it came from... something is going on at that store...

Service is horrible, literally, don't get signal anywhere ever. Internet is so slow literally can not use anywhere with mobile connection. Phone are complete trash using the Moto G 2025 and I swear it pops adds up randomly. Service is so slow and glitchy that the phone is pretty much a paperweight of frustration. I would never ever recommend and would quite honestly suggest anything else. Straight Talk through Walmart unlimited 45$ a month is so much better. Consumer Cellular is so much better. Cricket is better. Anything is better, this is the worst.

I've had it up to here with Metro. My phone and wifi are connected for one bill. In one situation I only had enough to pay my phone and not the entire bill. I was told that since it was combined I was unable to do that. Now here it is I get an extension for my phone, something that should also apply for my wifi, but now they changed their policy to if you get an extension it's for your phone only. If that's how it's going to be then I should be able to pay my phone bill separately. Makes no sense at all.

I've been with this company for over 15 years. About 6 months ago I got a virus on my phone. Had to buy a new one for $300. Move to Florida, and the new phone was not downloading, charging, and flipping in and out of websites. I use this phone for work. I was actually in the courtroom on zoom when the app just blew off. I spoken to customer service several times. Was talking to buying a hotspot that did not work, as well as a supposedly free tablet. Which is not it's $20 a month. I was also told over the phone. That since his phone is only 2 months old I would not have to pay for another one. I went into the store they refused to give me one. Called customer service several times again they said they noted my account that I could get a free phone. As this one was only 2 months old. Went into the store again and was denied a phone. Of course I could not leave without one. So I was forced into paying another $150.

The customer service line has been disrespectful, cutting me off, leaving me on hold and lying to me. I'm demanding the money back for this phone. It is illegal for you to sell me a phone in 2 months later force me into buying a new one. I will take legal action. As well as contacting the Better Business Bureau, writing negative reviews and going on social media. This is unacceptable. Especially the situation that I was in. I have no idea what they train their employees on. But if you are looking to buy a phone do not go with this company.

First the bad: Last year, an employee at the 4th St N store in St. Pete sold us two new Android phones, and in the process "lost" two of the four lines on our family plan (turns out he tweaked our account to make more money for himself). We were not even aware of the missing lines until the other two family members contacted us to say their phones weren't working. Took quite a bit of effort to get everything back to normal, but we were stuck in a minimum one year agreement. We had to wait the full year before we could port the numbers and get service elsewhere.

Now the good: We had Metro for about 20 years, always had great service and coverage, no complaints *until* that employee screwed us over. That kind of prompted us to look elsewhere for cell phone service. We went with Verizon and got four new iPhones, as well as a much cheaper rate on the 4 line family plan. A much better outcome for us. We thought Metro was good but we don't appreciate getting "taken" like that, so we'll give our $$ to a different company.

Another thing they interrupt my service on my due day I'm not able to make the payment on my own so they can get $5. Shame. They only care about money for any simple things.

He tries to multitask so it seems had a lady on speaker phone with a agent talking to another customer and trying to help me. He was actually distracting so he can try to rob you. When he finally got my phones in order after a long wait asked if I wanted a protector. I said no. Took a box off the wall. Opened it and put on my phone. Put a clear plastic on my daughter's phone saying free of charge. Even acted like he called to get permission from someone.

When I looked at my receipt later he charged me 27 dollars for both plastic clear screen cover. I was furious. When I confronted him he said his mistake. Wow. After trying to convince me I got a deal I witnessed him put another customer's paper work in shreddder. When she questioned him about her fees he told her come back tomorrow. He will explain. Unbelievable. He is a thief and untrustworthy. Worse claimed to be a manager. Doubt it so beware. This guy is a piece of work.

⭐ WEST TENNESSEE STREET Tallahassee, FL (Paul). I had a very disappointing experience at the Metro by T-Mobile location on West Tennessee Street in Tallahassee, Florida. I was assisted by an employee named Paul, who sold me a phone that was defective immediately upon use. The device was extremely slow and unresponsive from the start. When I returned the next day requesting a refund, I was told refunds were not allowed. During that interaction, Paul asked if I would be interested in purchasing one of his “old” phones and then directed me to another Metro location on North Monroe Street to speak with the manager.

I was also told that because this was considered an “upgrade,” refunds were not allowed under Metro policy. However, the device I purchased did not work properly from the beginning, and that policy should not apply to a defective product. Additionally, I was not provided with a receipt for this transaction. As a result of this experience, I have since moved my service to T-Mobile, where I received professional and proper service.

At this point, I am requesting a full refund of all money paid, including the cost of the defective device, all activation fees, and the monthly service charges that I paid, since I was unable to properly use the device. I do have proof of payment through my bank records and expect Metro by T-Mobile corporate to contact me directly to resolve this matter. This experience was unacceptable and needs immediate attention. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I am prepared to escalate through formal complaints and legal action.

As someone who had Metro for several years I was highly shocked by how they handled my account. I ordered 2 new phones for me and my significant other. Paid full price for them. When they arrived and we tried to activate them only one would actually activate. Upon contacting support was told to wait 2 hours. Didn't work. Then was told I had to wait 2 days for sales support only to have them tell me I needed to send the phone back, which they didn't provide a return label as they claimed. I continued to ask for a return label and was consistently ignored. I asked to speak with manager and was denied. After a month of Metro's inadequate ability to do anything to assist me I finally asked for an address to send the phone myself, which took over an hour after asking repeatedly. So I switched to a better carrier and will be telling everyone I can to not use metro or T-Mobile for that fact.
