    Once upon a time, good Customer Service was very common. Local businesses were the best at respecting customers, mainly from face-to-face interactions. Today, everything feels so fake, especially when surveys give incentives only if you give full stars. Asurion surprised me fully, I wish there was a double stars button, so that I can fully show my appreciation for the service that I experienced. Very worry-free packaging and instructions.     Asurion started a fiasco by not getting my billing address correct. (should do customer review before sending!) What then happened is you sent the phone back (across the nation). How inefficient & cost effective is that??!! Instead of allowing me to pick it up at post office or simple add my apt # on the address to have it redelivered. I had to postpone a small vacation! It was another fiasco to get it returned. Very sloppy and inefficient service!

    Absolutely rubbish service, and I will never insure so much as a paperclip through them. They claim that their turnaround is so fast but I had to upload my documents 4 separate times (the exact same documents, not updated or anything). This dragged my time without a phone to almost a week! Unacceptable for what I was paying and paid. Would not recommend, can get a later model smart phone for comparable to what I had to pay out of pocket. I also said this in my reviews to the company directly so I find it funny they keep reaching out to wholly dissatisfied customers for more reviews.

    My only issue was the inability to have the replacement phone shipped directly to my daughter, whose insured phone had been stolen. Instead, I had to have the phone mailed to me in Oregon and then spend $70.00 to mail it to her in Japan. I have a feeling it would have cost Asurion much less to get it to her in Japan. I actually called Asurion to make sure they couldn't send it there and was told that wasn't possible.

    I was initially pleased with the efficiency and ease of obtaining a replacement phone when mine was broken. However within a week of receiving the new phone I noticed that the glass screen was not fully secured to the phone body and actually raises upon the bottom half of the phone.     Service was satisfactory, but phone doesn't work worth a crap. Even though it was placed with the newer version of my old phone. My lost phone worked flawlessly, new phone is slow on data. When I call anyone no matter where I am at no one can hear me. Cannot connect to service. Have called technical support several times to no avail. Service keeps getting worse. So I see it's Verizon and insurance fault, as far as soon operator's great service phone is being pretty much useless. I have cancer and if I need to call 911 I would not get a hold of anyone if my life depended on my replacement is junk. They do get you a phone quick but if it works? I cannot bet my life on it.

    The transaction as far as submitting a claim and the timely manner it got to me was fantastic. But, what good is all that when what was sent is sub par? The replacement phone shuts off when it wants to. It sometimes shuts off and then gets stuck in a booting loop. Then sometimes I get the cell version of the blue screen of death? It's been nothing but trouble and if I ask for a replacement for my replacement I get kicked off of Asurion... so rock... hard place.

    I was pressured to send back "defective unit" before I was done with the logistics of transferring files, back-up, etc. Historically, Asurion has been very good to me. Today I asked, via tele call, for a delay of the defective device. They treated me well, extending return date by 4 weeks. I feel good about this. I am not yet completed with the process. I need to know that I am returning all components I suspect are broke, or suspect. I want to keep the SIM Card as an extra. I have no ulterior motives. Heck, I have troubles with low Tech stuff. I want them to know all I Do Is simply "good faith". Same for the Battery. I'm not sure half of my problems stem from the cruddy batteries issued by Samsung. We'll find out.     I pay for the insurance plan for my iPhone in case anything were to ever happen to it. I filed a claim for a lost phone in May and was sent a refurbished replacement. The replacement Asurion sent me stopped working LESS THAN A MONTH after it was sent to me. The phone would turn itself off randomly, even while fully charged, and eventually just wouldn’t get past the Apple startup screen at all. I contacted them and they sent another ‘refurbished’ phone. This one lasted a whole four months before it turned itself off and again got stuck on the Apple startup screen. I was out of town for a family wedding that I NEEDED my phone for. I contacted Apple, Asurion, AND AT&T and was told that there was no way Asurion could get me a replacement phone in person immediately, that it would need to be sent to my address.

    I ended up having to pay the difference left on my corrupted refurbished phone Asurion sent me so I could buy a new fully functioning phone. After I got home and tried to restore the new phone from a previous backup I learned that the second phone Asurion sent NEVER ACTUALLY BACKED ANYTHING UP. I now have three months of family and wedding photos and information GONE. I'M FURIOUS. I'll be submitting a formal complaint to AT&T, the BBB, and Asurion itself. They’re a scam company that sends defective phones to people paying good money to protect their investments.

    I have never had a worse experience in a claim process. I and the employee of the local Verizon office were literally on the phone for 4 hours!!! The problem seemed to be that the credit/debit card acceptance was not functioning correctly. After giving 4 different card numbers, the employee of Verizon also gave his own personal card a try. Knowing that all my cards were in "good standing" this became quite the issue as the CSR's were adamant that nothing was wrong with their card readers.

    We attempted many angles to get through this process. I finally ended up having to purchase a money order and be present at my home to sign and give this payment to the mail deliverer. Four hours of a grueling, waste of time, aggravating, stressful process - only to find out it was on your end. NOT a good experience! Thank you for your interest.     The filing process was very easy, and I received my phone quickly. However, the phone that they sent me was defective. No one could hear me talk. I had to file another claim. They should check their merchandise out before they send it out.

    Your staff was super helpful and looked at every option available to replace my phone with the same type of phone (I had a Blackberry phone). When that was determined to not be possible I was able to get a comparable phone and it arrived the next day. Your plan is worth the cost and the customer service was excellent.

    Received replacement phone a month ago. Now phone screen is separating from the phone. Called and "physical damage" is not covered under warranty so I need to pay another $150 deductible. Seems suspicious that I'd receive a refurbished phone and it's now physically falling apart. I've never had an iPhone just start falling apart. Also when I initially filed a claim, the option to replace the cracked screen for $50 wasn't available. Asurion rep told me this option is only available when there's a technician available. Good tactic to get people to spend $150 for replacement phone!
