    To start with and on a not so good note, on more than 1 occasion after speaking with customer service, they incorrectly input my cell number so that when their service technician tried to call me in advance of their arrival, they couldn't reach me! The first person arrived before the allotted time and said he couldn't come back in the time window when he was supposed to; which meant I had to call customer service back and arrange for a 2nd appointment. And again, the technician had the wrong number in his system! After dropping my iPhone and cracking the screen and slightly damaging the metal frame, the phone was diagnosed by the technician that he could not just replace the glass. So I had to return the phone. The replacement device came quickly and there were no issues changing things over.

    I lost my phone and it took 3 days for Asurion to process my paperwork. This is ridiculous and when I called into the call center I was all but called a thief because I lost my phone. My income is well above 125k and the idea of stealing a couple of hundred dollars in equipment costs never crossed my mind. I paid for insurance and when I used it, I was treated like a thief. Not the way to win over customers with 5 phones on their Verizon accounts.     We received the replacement phone in a timely manner and phone staff were helpful however we have since had to replace the phone 2 more times (did this by calling Verizon directly) as each replacement phone does not work correctly. Battery dies immediately and then a multitude of other problems occur. After the 3rd replacement a Verizon rep suggested we take it to the Apple store to verify that it was not a software issue. We have done this and while the Apple personnel state that the issues we are having with the phone may be software issues they have recommended we replace the phone again as the screen is now coming off which they have stated is due to it being assembled with off-brand parts.

    I was also very disappointed with the amount we have paid for the insurance yet we had to pay $149 to repair a cracked screen prior to even sending it in the first time. I guess I should have read the fine print more closely as I purchased insurance to cover breakage and possible loss due to my teen owning this phone. I would not purchase insurance again. So after 2 months we still do not have a phone that functions as it should. We were also sent a charger with the first replacement that is not an Apple charger and it causes the phones to become very hot while charging which then reduces the battery life.

    My only complaint would be that I have never used the insurance on this device but I have spent a lot of money on the insurance. I still had to pay $200 deductible to get phone replaced and then was told I have to turn off find my iPhone app or I get a 500 dollar charge. Well the screen is completely out on the phone and will not turn on so how am I to do that??? The Verizon store tells me to call a phone number to do it. Why can they not do it? I pay a lot of money monthly for cell phones and think they should be able to cut it off.

    It has been a year since my screen shattered and my phone was replaced by, of course, a refurbished phone. I had to request another at that time, because it was not working properly. Fast forward a few weeks ago, my phone (the second refurbished phone) was not working properly - freezing up, etc. so I requested, paid co-pay, and received another refurbished phone. This is the phone I have now and apparently the system that blanks your screen when you bring it to your ear to avoid pushing numbers, putting it on speaker or just plain hanging up on the person you are speaking with, doesn't work at all!

    Honestly, I'm not happy with the fact that I have to request yet another refurbished phone and take a chance on that. Your office reacted promptly and courteously to my problem before so my complaint is on how the insurance works. I originally paid for the NEW phone and now have to pay for a refurbished phone that may or may not work. I use my phone for business as well as personal and it is very frustrating. Sorry.. I know this is not directly your problem, but the refurbished phones should at the very least be checked out to work properly. Thank you.

    After 22 months of paying nearly $11 per month, the glass on my phone shattered. They sent me a replacement phone in 2 days and charged me $60. The (reconditioned) replacement phone glass easily cracked 3 weeks later when I sat down with the phone in my back pocket - and yes it was in a protective cover and I am not overweight. This never would have happened with my original phone. I called and they told me it would be $200 for a replacement phone. To get the glass replaced locally the fee is $89. So to date they collected nearly $250 in payments plus a $60 replacement fee, for a total of $310, and now they want to charge me another $200 for the crap replacement phone with the inferior glass. I am livid.

    Alright sooo Asurion did fairly well with replacing my damaged iPhone 6s but not with a new phone, it is refurbished. I'm sure in the fine print of the policy it says the replacement phones are refurbished but in blatant words it says "new phone". Not a big deal I suppose except my phone does not operate as well as a brand new phone. However it does operate better than my old phone after I ruined it. The internet connection is rather wonky with this phone and the battery dies much quicker than my old one. All in all I am happy with my phone but I will likely buy an actual new phone as soon as I can afford it. Also I did not inform Asurion of the defects in my refurbished phone because I did not want to transfer all of my data again. I have a feeling if I had called they would have sent me another one.     I went through 3 replacement phones before I was sent one that actually worked. The customer service was awful minus 2 of the times I called. I was transferred multiple times to the wrong person I was asking for. Spent an hour and half on phone and still had to call back because the issue was still not taken care of. Also now I'm still receiving phone calls stating I have not returned my replacement and damaged phone. 2 weeks after being returned.     This is quite possibly the worst customer service experience I have had. I work in customer service. You completely stink. I have worked with several of your "agents" and they all appear to stink because they tell you they are "noting the account" and "taking care of it" but don't and then I get another call and random transfer to a black hole. I will explain this ONE MORE TIME before I contact the Better Business Bureau.

    The claim ** was created because my son's phone was damaged. Even reporting the claim was an absolutely hassle getting transferred between Verizon and Asurion. When they finally decided who might take responsibility I started the claim, on 3 different (now 4) occasions I have explained (and explained PRIOR to sending the phone back) that the we are NOT ABLE TO GET INTO THE APPLE ID. Apple and Verizon have neither been able to assist. We need the original receipt of purchase from Verizon which the store we went to INCONVENIENTLY changed their "system" in which they kept sales receipts and after multiple attempts for management to call back (they didn't) to find out how to retrieve the receipt, ultimately they said they can't.

    I realize it is BS and not legal to not keep customer receipts but they obviously didn't want to go through the trouble. So my son has been using the phone without any of his Apple Crap because he couldn't get the APPLE ID reset when the account was locked out. Apple pointed to Verizon and back and forth much like Verizon and Asurion. After many months and many, many, many, many (are you getting the hint) wasted calls YES I GAVE UP ON ANY OF YOUR ORGANIZATIONS TO FIND A COMPETENT INDIVIDUAL. He lived without being able to use the phone for most of its intended uses.

    So when it was damaged a few months ago, we were elated that now that the worthless phone would be replaced he might be able to use an Apple ID again. WE CALLED PRIOR TO RETURNING and explained this to the first rep that exclaimed "I am glad you called so I can notate the account so you are not charged $500 for not disabling the location tracker" to which I responded, "That's why I called." I was ASSURED this was taken care of and there would be no problems. Then I received the second call where I explained the ordeal over AGAIN and was told there were no remarks on the account "BUT THEY WOULD FOR SURE DO IT AND TAKE CARE OF IT".

    Then I received a 3rd call today, same BS, different day but this time VERY RUDE and after saying she was with Asurion and then stating she was going to transfer me to Asurion and I question why I would be getting transferred to Asurion, then was blindly transferred into a black hole where I eventually hung up. If I am bothered again, asking for the same background and told there are no notes on my account... I will let the Better Business Bureau handle it. You have WASTED WAY MORE OF MY TIME than I am willing to give. So if I could remove the one star, I'd love to but you make me give you enough credit to state that I was very dissatisfied when I feel worse about Asurion than that. I hope you take this feedback seriously as a long time customer of Verizon and Asurion as you have some of the worst customer service out there.

The claim process should be interlink with the service provider making the claim process simpler for the customer. Asurion should consider allowing customers to digitally sign their claim statements.     So, apparently my son didn't turn off "find my phone." Returned the broken device and a few days later got a email notifying us that this needed to be done.     Service and replacement great. Quick, fairly easy. The walkthrough, the website and complaint process was a bit confusing. After I figured out the process it was easy. It could be easier to access the complaint process. There are still some of us out here who find these strictly web based processes confusing.

    I lost my phone, reported it to your company of which I have paid insurance thru for years and they said the phone was on backorder and would contact me as soon as available. A few days later I went online to follow up with the order and was given a message that it was still on backorder. A month later same thing. After a few months I called to complain and was told they have the phone in stock and can ship it next day. I paid the $19 and received the phone a couple days later.

    Delivery time was awesome but the product received was not as good as the phone it replaced. After initializing, the phone will freeze up without warning. Having talked with a rep from Verizon, he noted this to be a common complaint for this phone. I did not experience this problem with the original..
