A bit cumbersome to do it on the web. Might have been quicker on the phone unless I had voice menus and did not talk to anyone. Part of the issue was it was not my phone but my granddaughter's and yet I had to do the replacement.

I appreciate the timeliness in sending out our new phone. It is important to have a phone for my daughter when she is in school. When her phone was damaged, I was concerned for her safety in that she had no means to call me when she gets home from school. Receiving her new phone in a days time after making the claim was awesome!

The phone I received has issues. The microphone does not work and the GPS is not accurate or keep up when on the move. We also followed the instructions to remove find my iPhone but still got an email saying you were going to charge me 500$ because it was not taken off.

I was pressured to send back "defective unit" before I was done with the logistics of transferring files, back-up, etc. Historically, Asurion has been very good to me. Today I asked, via tele call, for a delay of the defective device. They treated me well, extending return date by 4 weeks. I feel good about this. I am not yet completed with the process. I need to know that I am returning all components I suspect are broke, or suspect. I want to keep the SIM Card as an extra. I have no ulterior motives. Heck, I have troubles with low Tech stuff. I want them to know all I Do Is simply "good faith". Same for the Battery. I'm not sure half of my problems stem from the cruddy batteries issued by Samsung. We'll find out. I just don't want any "Surprise charges", beyond the $99 I've paid for "Damaged" phone & components. "Would Be" Asurion subscribes can proceed without significant concerns. Thank you. After completing the required affidavit, paying the co-payment and sending a copy of my driver's license, the replacement phone was received within two days and the dead phone shipped back for free. Mission accomplished.

My phone screen was damaged when dropped, even though the phone was still functional. Asurion replaced my phone and I received the replacement the day after I filed the claim online. All I paid was the insurance deductible. I called Asurion with a question during initialization and they were able to answer my questions. All-in-all it was a easy process and I was fully satisfied.

My son lost his phone in the woods. You sent the replacement phone the next day. Unfortunately that phone had an issue that airplane mode wouldn’t unlock. Spoke with a representative on the phone and had a new one out immediately. Would highly recommend your service to anyone buying a new smartphone. You guys were fast and helpful.

About a month ago I had broken my phone screen. Luckily I had insurance on it. I was given the number to call by my phone company. I found the process to be very easy. The woman I spoke to on the phone filed my claim. She was very professional and pleasant. Unfortunately I do not remember her name. The claim only took a few minutes and I had my new phone within 24 hours. Thank you.

Wonderful experience. The person that handled everything was very patient and explained the procedures in great detail on what to do as far as what to expect, concerning cost for the replacement phone and the arrival on the replacement phone. No problems at all concerning the whole process.

Most of operation was smooth as always but I made a mess up on filling out one space on form which had to be corrected so it took a few days longer. Normally you have a phone back the next day smooth and easy.

It took me 3 days. A trip to Sprint for help. A trip to a friend to help send documents twice. Phone calls to Asurion which lasted hours. Hung up on after being put on hold 3 Times. This company needs to be better organized than this. I'm sure people don't bother to take the time to complain because they are just glad it's over and the device is being sent. In fact, as I am old, I don't think I've ever filed a complaint in all my years. Until now. Horrible.

While at a conference in Las Vegas I lost my phone. I checked with lost and found several times a day for the four days I was in attendance. No one turned it in. I called Asurion and the person I spoke with was very helpful. I went to the business center at the hotel and got a copy of my drivers license and filled out the affidavit. They told me I could have a new phone the next day. I didn't receive the phone and when I called they said it had been turned over to an claims adjuster. I didn't receive the why until I got home from Vegas. It turned out the only problem was, I hadn't paid the $149.00. I took care of that and received my new phone in three days (weekend was involved). I would have happily paid the $149 while in Vegas, but nobody asked. In the end I was satisfied.

Replacing my stolen device was simple, easy and user friendly. The representative that helped me through the process was professional, accountable, and friendly. Once we were able to figure out how to submit a claim, the experience and response time was fantastic. I would recommend evaluating the user friendliness of your phone system and prompts, along with your website. However, once we were able to connect with a live person, they were extremely helpful and efficient.

Everything went well... But Apple did have to help me turn off the find my iPhone option. But Asurion was great. They explained everything and what to expect from the company. I received my replacement phone quickly and setup was quick and easy.

Appreciate the prompt time in getting me a replacement for my water damaged iPhone. Was up and running in a few days. I expected problems with the replacement phone but there wasn’t any. Thank you. I forgot that I had insurance but the customer service representative informed me. I have been paying for this insurance since I purchased the iPhone. Felt bad that last year when my daughters iPhone got damaged I went to Apple and bought a replacement for $300 when I could have only paid the $149 like I did with my damaged iPhone. Didn’t remember that we purchased the insurance.

The only thing I am upset about is that I mailed my sons broken phone and not sure what has happened because I was asked if I mailed it. I will say that there needs to be a tracker provided. Like Apple does so that both parties can track when it has arrived and received. Yet no one has emailed me or called since I had my husband call and check on the status because I was called asking if I had mailed it. I was pleased with the way how quickly your service was for my son to have the new phone.

Made a claim two weeks ago and was told an identical phone was not available and was promised a NEW phone in different color with more memory in 5 days. Five days later was told THAT model was back ordered. Now two weeks later they send me the identical phone (not the one with more memory) that is NOT NEW but REFURBISHED. What a scam and a total waste of the $11 per month they have been charging us PLUS the $99 replacement fee. ASURION IS A TOTAL SCAM.

So happy we took the options for insurance coverage for three (3) iPhones on our family plan. Insurance claim to replace damaged iPhone was a painless process... seriously. Just pay for deductible. Replacement phone arrived, immediately, with prepaid padded envelope to return damaged unit. Done! Thank you, Asurion!

Wish I knew my customer service agents name. But, I had a problem with FedEx. They had some delay. I wanted them to stop delivery because I was moving 900 miles away. My phone was scheduled to be delivered Friday. It wasn't going to get there until Monday. When she found out I was going to drive that far with a baby she actually reminded me I was going to make this drive without a phone. She even talked with someone above her to get me a throwaway phone and called FedEx. She acted like it was her personal problem! I have NEVER had a company that concerned of my well being.

Phone is ok but paying $11 per month and $149 deductible makes no sense. At this point this same refurbished phone on Amazon is $149. I'm dropping the insurance on this phone asap. Thanks for the quick service but from this point I'm out. Buy on my own or upgrade next time.

The service was excellent, very satisfied. Very fast service, great customer service. Speedy delivery. The customer service reps I spoke with were extremely friendly and helpful. They were concerned with getting my new phone delivered with speed and accuracy. The new phone worked very well. My grandson was very pleased with it.

The service was good but seem to be having an issue with speaker button. Is the a refurbished phone for the AMT paid... It should be a new phone. In past we paid $50 for phone replacement. This time paid $150 and there seems to be issue with the speaker phone function???

The screen on my cell cracked. It worked ok for approximately 3 or 4 days. However, after a few days the cell began to have green & purple lines. The lines increased day after day. Finally it became difficult to type a short message. I called Asurion and they replaced my cell. Asurion shipped a replacement cell the next day. I shipped the damaged cell to Asurion, which is part of the warranty process. Asurion emailed me and confirmed my damaged cell was received. I recommend Asurion. Thanks for all your help.

I got my iPad Pro a little under 2 years ago. It’s an expensive item so when I cracked the screen by dropping it, I almost cried. Insurance handled it fast. After my claim, they sent the new iPad Pro within days, and I sent the old one back the same day because they made it so incredibly easy. THANKS!

I was launching my boat and scooted over the bow to undo the trailer connection when the rub rail perfectly picked my pocket. The phone ended up dropping into brackish water. Well that ended that phone's life almost immediately! The insurance provided is well worth the cost. Probably one of the best deals about owning a cell phone. Without this insurance it would have cost me close to a $1000 dollars to replace my phone because it would've given me a great excuse to buy the Apple phone. This phone will do fine for now and probably a few more years.

My experience after getting my third phone was horrible. I was promised a brand new phone and never received one. After my fourth phone you guys got nasty with me on the phone and two of you guys rudely hung up on me and didn’t want to further assist me but instead told me to go to Apple. Not once did I get nasty with any of you guys because I’m a sweet person and if you want get the recorded phone calls so you can hear for yourselves.

I pay for the insurance plan for my iPhone in case anything were to ever happen to it. I filed a claim for a lost phone in May and was sent a refurbished replacement. The replacement Asurion sent me stopped working LESS THAN A MONTH after it was sent to me. The phone would turn itself off randomly, even while fully charged, and eventually just wouldn’t get past the Apple startup screen at all. I contacted them and they sent another ‘refurbished’ phone. This one lasted a whole four months before it turned itself off and again got stuck on the Apple startup screen. I was out of town for a family wedding that I NEEDED my phone for. I contacted Apple, Asurion, AND AT&T and was told that there was no way Asurion could get me a replacement phone in person immediately, that it would need to be sent to my address.
I ended up having to pay the difference left on my corrupted refurbished phone Asurion sent me so I could buy a new fully functioning phone. After I got home and tried to restore the new phone from a previous backup I learned that the second phone Asurion sent NEVER ACTUALLY BACKED ANYTHING UP. I now have three months of family and wedding photos and information GONE. I'M FURIOUS. I'll be submitting a formal complaint to AT&T, the BBB, and Asurion itself. They’re a scam company that sends defective phones to people paying good money to protect their investments.

After receiving the first replacement we had issues with the phone. The agent was great in assisting with helping with the next two phones after until we had a fully operational phone and we couldn't be more happier with their response and fast turnaround with shipping the new orders. I pay $33 a month for insurance and have never used the coverage. When I finally did I had a high deductible. I don't see the sense in having it if I have to pay a high deductible to use it. What's the sense?

Just wish the charge to replace wasn't so high. Quick shipping. Good quality phone. Little scared didn't do all the turn in phone and turn off device instruction right and will get charged but haven't heard anything yet. Overall it was a very good experience.

It was the best experience with insurance I've had. My replacement phone was here the next day with no hassle at all. The money you pay for the insurance is well worth it when you need it. I broke 2 phones in a week. It was an accident and they were right there again. I still use them a and I recommend it to my friends and family because if you don't have it phones are so expensive. It's well worth the 6 or 10 dollars you spend on.

The replacement phone I received does not work properly. It's clear it did not go through quality control before being sent out. It is clearly a refurbished unit with a bad touch screen. Now I have to go through the process yet again. There is no regard for customer satisfaction here. Just sent a bad phone I hoped for the best. It's pathetic how little regard this company has for the client's valuable time.

It took two weeks to get a replacement phone. My destroyed phone was discontinued, you tried to give me several inferior phones, but the newer model of the one destroyed it took two weeks to get it. I could have gone down to Verizon and picked one up quicker. I don't understand why the insurance company couldn't do that.

I needed the replacement (Droid Razr) fast. I got it the very next day. I am very please with Asurion's performance. The replacement insurance was worth it. I will continue to carry the replacement insurance, and hope Asurion's will not lessen their excellent customer service.

Received two defective replacement phones on my insurance plan. Offered refund of my deductible but now left without a phone to trade in. Will not carry insurance going forward, will definitely express my frustrations with Verizon. Phone system for Asurion a complete disregard for my time as got disconnected several times, then just passed from Dept to Dept to wait on hold, in some cases for over half hour before I would give up.

My only problem is no "how to do" book comes w/ the phone! So when you're 81 years old, well I made (& still do) many trips to the Verizon store. Now they smile & ask, "OK Betty how can we help you today"! Also, there are no classes, so you have to "fend" for yourself!!!

I have been waiting over a week to get my e-gift card. That means I have been without my phone for over a week. I have jobs who need to call me and cannot. I sent in my phone over a week ago. I dropped my phone and had to have it replaced. I got a new phone actually an upgrade the next day. I am enjoying my new phone. I have had no problems. It wasn't upgrade from what I originally purchased. The phone I had originally purchased was no longer available.

I have never dealt with such a company thats stupid as this one. I purchased a Pixel 2XL black and they have now sent me two wrong devices within two days. Verizon it is time to change to a different insurance company, Asurion is definitely not a company that can handle these type of incidents.

I've had a fair amount of unusual bad luck with my phones this year and have broken them several times. The last time I broke my phone I was not informed that my insurance policy had been dropped as a result. I broke my phone again but was unable to get it replaced this time. I could have bought insurance from Samsung directly, or bought supplementary insurance to avoid this issue, and I would have if I was informed. Instead I lost nearly a thousand dollars, was without a phone for weeks, and ended up switching carriers. It is not fair to drop someone's insurance without notifying them, and I'm wary of relying on your service in the future.

Hello. Got a replacement phone and the first shipment was expected to arrive on 9/30/17 to my work but nothing even though FedEx tracking said it was signed by someone that didn't even work at my place. I called Asurion and was on the phone for 30+ minutes frustrated b/c Asurion didn't know what happened to FedEx delivery and why it was signed by someone not employed at my work. So I had to give my wife's work address to send another phone. Meanwhile I was without a phone for 4 days. Phone showed up to my wife's work and my original phone ended up at my work place the same day. So had to mail back the first phone. There definitely needs to be better quality control on the shipping vendors and people signing things that don't even work at my place.

I have filed a claim for a broken screen twice with this company and both times I was EXTREMELY dissatisfied. The first time they replaced the phone with a much cheaper phone that did not even work. This time they claim to have a back order on iPhone 7 PLUS. How do you run a warranty company and not keep an inventory! That is a fraudulent contract. Anne **, who claims to be the top person, does not possess proper customer service skills. This company makes billions off the consumer, but does nothing in return for their customers. To replace a shattered phone should not take weeks!!! How can a company portray themselves as a warranty replacement company, but never capable of replacing the product!!! I will NEVER do business with this company again! Save your money and don't waste your time with them.

After years of $9-$13 a month for insurance and deductibles that the consumer has no control over, the day finally arrives that you must use your insurance. Then you call Asurion and you're greeted with a surly and contumelious representative. When you HAVE TO call your insurance company you want INSURANCE that means reassure me that I am in the best hands: reassure your paying customer that I have made a economical and poignant decision including but not limited to who I have as my cell phone provider and who I opted to serve as my insurance carrier with my cell phone provider.
But let's all be real here... Does Verizon give you an alternative choice to whom you do 3rd party business with? OF COURSE NOT. I am so displease I have called my homeowners insurance and my car insurance companies to see if they offer a better plan for replacing my cell phone in the event that I damage it... HOW PATHETIC! Asurion do better. You owe your customer at the minimum decent customer service.

Accidents happen and Asurion is a great policy to have. They are fast and reliable. I have dropped my phone in water several times and have been able to get a replacement within days, if not the next day. I would recommend them to everyone. The cost is minimal.

My iPhone died in Paris. Asurion was efficient in processing my claim and in getting a new phone to me in Paris. Impressive response. I found the instructions for activating the new phone beyond me, and I had to wait weeks to activate it back in the US and with the help of tech support and my mobile plan provider's staff. I also learned some painful lessons about iCloud back-up.

When I realized that my phone was gone I had traveled from New York to RI. I think it was taken at a rest stop. Anyway, I called Asurion and explained the situation and had a phone in my hands the next day. A job well done. Thank you. You sent me an email that I had not disabled the Find My iPhone function in error. This had me panicked that I would be charged $500 but I had done everything I thought I needed to to turn off the function. More oversight in that type of correspondence might be a good idea for the company. Other than that issue, the experience was satisfactory and my past experiences were as well.

The phone does not perform simple tasks like exiting a page, I have to shut the phone off to get out of a window or page. BUT you sent the lousy phone to me very quickly... But who wants an inferior phone delivered quickly? Not me. I would have rather waited for a phone that works as efficiently as the one that got wet.

I have never had a worse experience in a claim process. I and the employee of the local Verizon office were literally on the phone for 4 hours!!! The problem seemed to be that the credit/debit card acceptance was not functioning correctly. After giving 4 different card numbers, the employee of Verizon also gave his own personal card a try. Knowing that all my cards were in "good standing" this became quite the issue as the CSR's were adamant that nothing was wrong with their card readers.
We attempted many angles to get through this process. I finally ended up having to purchase a money order and be present at my home to sign and give this payment to the mail deliverer. Four hours of a grueling, waste of time, aggravating, stressful process - only to find out it was on your end. NOT a good experience! Thank you for your interest. If I knew of another carrier for cell phones, that is where I would be today.

The refurbished phone sent to me has many problems. The sound as well as touch screen issues. There is nothing that keeps me from using phone, just very aggravating. I have not called and reported due to incredibly lengthy hold times when I called to get my phone replaced. (Use the website they say: well yes, except I was on vacation and since my phone was lost, I had no access!).

Customers service was pretty good but after receiving the 1st refurbished phone I had problem with WiFi dropping. Also If the phone was sitting on top of anything it was Bluetooth to it would disconnect. Now I'm on the 2nd phone and after 3 days of use I've already reset the network twice because my phone kept saying SEARCHING so imma wait it out for a week or so and see what happens next.

I lost my Google Pixel cell phone so I immediately called Verizon to cut the service and to disable my cell phone. The person I talked to at Verizon told me to contact Asurion because my cell is covered by an insurance. The following morning I called Asurion and told them what happened. We received a replacement phone that did not have all features working, such as GPS, Texting, etc. We called and they told us to call back with the IMEI, so when we called back and waited on hold for a long time, we were told that the tech coach people had to try and help us with the phone first, so we waited on hold for them for numerous minutes, only to be told to try out the GPS again after a factory reset, which we did, and it still doesn't work. Now we need to call them again. What a run-around!

I barely had the first one for 2 weeks and it fell and shattered again. But the turnover was next day. I just had to pay $100 for each! Unfortunately over the years my family has used Asurion a few times to replace either broken phones or stolen phones. We still have not learned our lesson. My daughter just got a replacement phone seven days ago and it is already malfunctioning. It randomly shows that she has no service or it shuts off randomly. I shattered my phone screen for the first time ever and I didn't know how to go about fixing this. I remembered that we had an insurance plan on the phone. So I went to the website and filed a claim with Asurion. It was on a Friday, so I was expecting my phone on Monday, but they said that they could ship a replacement in 24 hrs. It was cool, but I didn't actually receive my phone until Monday because FedEx made an error and contacted the wrong apartment. The replacement phone works fine and no longer cuts my fingers. I just wished we got new phones instead of other people's fixed phones.

My claim was put on 24 hour hold, and literally nobody at Asurion could tell me why. I've NEVER failed a claim before and am still very upset about my claim requiring an extra hold period. In addition, the phone I received has the touch disease and freezes multiple times a day. I haven't even bothered trying to get a better functioning phone from Asurion because of how terrible it was to work with them in the first place. I'll be buying a new iPhone shortly with a different carrier and will NEVER use Asurion backed "insurance" again.

The phone (iPhone SE) calls other people during calls and mutes people while on call. Also it is gray & black. Not gold, my last replacement was exact. Two small dots are also on the screen. The phone worked great for a few weeks, then it slowly started to get glitchy. The finger print scanner doesn't always work. When I try to text the keyboard doesn't work often, the screen will be unresponsive at often. When I plug the charger in, it will take a little bit for the phone to start charging.

Received replacement phone a month ago. Now phone screen is separating from the phone. Called and "physical damage" is not covered under warranty so I need to pay another $150 deductible. Seems suspicious that I'd receive a refurbished phone and it's now physically falling apart. I've never had an iPhone just start falling apart. Also when I initially filed a claim, the option to replace the cracked screen for $50 wasn't available. Asurion rep told me this option is only available when there's a technician available. Good tactic to get people to spend $150 for replacement phone!

I was very happy with the overall service. Fast, efficient, and easy to follow instruction. The only two items I would comment on is the & 150 deductible along with the monthly fee would make me question the value of the service comparing it to the overall value of the device being covered under the insurance. I was concerned with the return shipping, being I had no way to track it and the uncertainty of having to pay an extra fee if it was not received by you all within the 10 days.

It is hard for me to replace broken phones, because the copays are really high. I wish there was a disability or prior Military discount. I knew the Asurion Mobile Insurance through AT&T was a rip off, as I worked at AT&T for over a year. But my wife insisted on getting the insurance and paid $8.99 per month for months. The screen on her phone cracked, so I pulled up our contract and it talked about there being an $89 deductible for screen repair. She called to initiate a claim and was told that they do not have screen repair available in our area for that device, that they would have to send a refurbished replacement, and asked what color she wanted. When she got the replacement, she had to transfer all the information and spend hours getting the phone back to where her original was (with all the downloads etc...). But she wanted to use the insurance that she had been paying for, so...
A week later we got our bill from AT&T. It had a charge for $225 for "Standard Insurance Deductible". Armed with my contract, I called AT&T, was transferred around several times and was told to contact Asurion. I did so, and was again transferred around several times. The first person told me there was nothing I could do, I had to pay the $225. I escalated the call asking for a supervisor or manager. The next person offered to send an upgrade, but I would still have to pay the $225. I explained that I was not trying to get something for free, I just felt it criminal to charge $225 for something that is clearly documented to cost $89. The third person offered to refund my money, if I send back the phone, which I said I would do as soon as they returned my phone to me. No, they said, "We cannot return your phone once it is sent in." "So you are asking me to donate my phone, I get nothing for it, and have to pay the $225 unless I return the replacement phone" I said. "That is correct" I was told. That is corrupt!
I was transferred to the "Office of the CEO" (yeah, right!) where I spoke with someone on the "Leadership Team". By the way, each time you are transferred you will be put on hold for 3 to 5 minutes to "cool off" but by the time I got to this point I was livid that I had wasted a day off. I went over all of the above and was told that they would review the case and call me back within 48 hours. That never happened. I began my follow up the next week and realized after several transferred calls that I was wasting another day off and would get absolutely nowhere, again, and that they are quite skilled at this since it is part of their daily routine. Thinking of signing up with AT&T? Think again! Thinking of paying monthly for the insurance in case your phone is lost, stolen, or damaged? Don't do it, it is a horrible rip off!!!

Had broken the glass on phone, Asurion had given me 2 options (go to store and get repaired or for higher cost get another sent to me). Which paid extra, phone was delivered as promise on time. Was very clear instructions on what to do. Very satisfied with the experience.

I will admit that it was a little shock to find that I had not read the fine print about my phone replacement. What I found was that there is a deductible to handle any issues that require a phone replacement. Otherwise, it was amazingly simple.

I was very pleased with my experience with Asurion. I only use my Jetpack when I am traveling and didn't realize it was missing until I was packing for a trip. I had lent it to my son to use at work because his office was experiencing power outages. At the same time his car had been broken into and it must have been taken along with other items. Neither of us remembered that he had the Jetpack. When I called to report it missing, too much time had elapsed between reporting the loss and when the loss actually occurred but because of the circumstances, Asurion allowed me to replace the jetpack on my policy. I am happily able to use it now when I travel (and during power outages) instead of relying on unsecured wifi.

My only complaint is how long it took to get my phone. I was without for 7 days instead of the overnight. That was an inconvenience for me being I rely on my cell phone. I was told they didn't have it on the warehouse and had to ship it in from somewhere. I need my phone so my kids can get a hold of me whenever needed especially when I am on road.

I am making payments for the price of a new phone. I was charged a $200 deductible for you all to send a phone that has been refurbished and I still have to make payments on. You sent me a wall charger that doesn't even work. No, I'm not making a new claim because I will either waste a bunch more time that I really don't have or you will probably try to charge me another deductible. So I will take my chances and buy a charger. When my contract with Verizon is up, I will change to a different company.

Cell phone was broken and we used the insurance to replace it. Asurion walk us though the process and made it easy. We called Verizon first and they directed us to Asurion. We focussed the broken cell phone and how to disable a few apps. Since the phone was not usable or we could see the screen, we had to go to the website to disable the app. With the guidance of Asurion and Apple we got it done. The replacement phone was there the next day. We had excellent customer service and will use them again if needed.

When my phone was ruined, I was so grateful to have bought the insurance on it. The Verizon technician got the Asurion service technician on the phone and he explained everything I needed to do. I had a new phone up and running before I left the Verizon store. It's a wonderful service and I highly recommend it.

Cracked Screen on an otherwise perfect phone. Went to Asurion authorized repair facility as instructed. They replaced the screen with an "Asurion screen" and stated that was required by Asurion, and that their screens were sub-standard. Asurion would not put an Apple Screen on it - they replaced the phone with a used one. I went through TWO used phones; neither of which worked. They were awful. Seems that this is common. I then paid several hundred dollars to buy a new Apple phone as a result. After paying almost $200 to Asurion for nothing. The Asurion program is not worth the $11/month in any way. Do not purchase - there are other programs available.

Overall my experience was good, and I am happy-especially with how fast and easy shipping my broken phone and receiving the new phone was. The new phone I received has some battery issues, however, as it dies randomly and loses battery very quickly. Other than that I am satisfied.

The transaction was easy and I had the new phone quickly. The website was easy to use and they even upgraded the phone. The only drawback was I had to purchase a new otter box because the upgraded phone did not fit in the otter box case. This was an additional $70 including the screen protector.

After receiving the phone my husband noticed a number of small glitches with the phone and we determined you are sending refurbished phones. He has since has had a number of problems with said refurbished phone and today the phone shut off completely and will not turn on with a charge.

When you pay for phone insurance you expect to receive a replacement phone for free/inexpensive when something unfortunate happens to your original phone, right? Asurion however believes you should pay for insurance and pay almost full price for an iPhone that's been refurbished/slow as well as having a 40 minute battery life. After getting my 3rd (yes that's right) replacement because the first two were trashed I've finally given up on phone insurance. Never again will I do business with Asurion.

It was not made clear if the phone is a new phone or a refurbished phone. There should be complete transparency about that. I still don't know. Initially, the phone was freezing but seems to be OK now after a power down/up.

Your chat option online is terrible. The individual did not process my claim correctly and I had to call the 800 number in order to get claim fixed and submitted. Your website had process errors when I tried to fill out the claim online.

Replacement details were finalized about 8:30pm. Didn't think there was any way I would get my phone the next day. To my amazement, I did. My only criticism is that when I tried to order my replacement online, I was notified my phone was on backorder. A phone call revealed that the backorder was only on the color of my phone and I could get the same phone in a different color immediately. I would have completed the process online if the website had told me that.

Asurion stepped up and replaced my lost phone within 2 days - it was wonderful!! I called and they managed my account very accurately. I would recommend to my friends for sure! They have done a good job. We tried to use the Find iPhone app however it didn't work since the phone battery wasn't charged. This was very disappointing - not sure why the app is on the iPhone if it doesn't work.

Asurion process was good. My phone is very weird, I have to hit cancel 3x in order to do anything on my phone. There is a constant pop-up for me to enter my iTunes password, and my two grandchildren's passwords (2 additional, separate pop-ups). I most likely will be returning my recently received refurb phone.
