    I was happy with speed of the delivery but overall not happy. I had a V10 before it stopped working. I went through Asurion to get a replacement and they sent me a G6. And still charged me 150. They said my phone was so popular it was out of stock. G6 is not the same as a V10 and I feel they should send me the right phone, which I paid in full. Overall, not happy.

    I received a replacement iPhone 7 32 gb after my original iPhone 6 64 gb was lost or stolen. The phone was listed as refurbished when I selected it. It freezes up multiple times on a daily basis. Sometimes, I can't make or receive calls. I called the support number and the representative told me the phone I had received was a brand new iPhone 7, not a refurbished one as I had assumed I received since that was how it was described when ordering it and due to the functional and operational flaws.

    The representative questioned me as if I were lying about the phone not working and eventually told me to do a complete reset (which I had already done) and that would fix the problem. The phone has been reset multiple times and all updates have been downloaded and installed and the phone still regularly freezes up on me for an extended period of time about 7-10 a day. Also, every few days I cannot make or receive calls, which forces me to restart the phone to fix the issue. Overall, I am very dissatisfied with the customer service and lack of effort at resolving the issue. Over a month later, I am still without a properly functioning phone.

    Called to get a replacement phone, paid the fee. They said it should be in on the Friday, I called on Tuesday. Friday came around and there was still no phone. I waited until Monday and still no phone. I then called them again and they said they could not send a new one because there was no phones in stock (why hadn't they let me know?) Now I'm stuck phoneless. So I then follow their next steps. They said that they were gonna reimburse me for the phone. They said they were gonna send me a UPS tag for shipping. They did not.

    I then waited another few days thinking it was gonna get mailed to me. Nothing came. So I called them back, and they said that they had not had the claim reviewed, even though I had already went through the process. Now I'm starting to get frustrated. I go through the process again, get the UPS tag and ship it out to them. This was on October 10th, they received my product 3 days later. They said that 10 days after they received the product, I will receive my cheque for the reimbursement. It is now the 25th of October and the product hasn't even been looked at and they're saying that it will still be 10 days to receive the cheque after they look at it. I had to call them to get things in motion again. I am very dissatisfied and will never recommend this company to anyone.

    We love Asurion. Filing a claim is extremely simple and the replacements arrive the next day. Customer service is fast and reliable and I've never had a bad experience with them and would highly recommend them to everyone. I do think the replacement co-pay should be lower if you don't have a high dollar phone though. Monthly fee plus the price of replacement is worth more than my phone would cost to buy new and they are sending refurbished phones, not new ones.

    My account was compromised on 4/27/2017. Someone used my account to place a claim that my phone was Lost/Stolen. I was never notified of this and found out on my own after sitting in a Sprint store to upgrade said phone. When contacting Asurion for resolution they promised it would be resolved in 24-48 hours and that the flag prohibiting me from upgrading my phone would be removed. It has now been 72 hours and the flag hasn't been removed. When contacting Asurion for expedition they passed me around and feed me the same information that the claim is under investigation and that there is nothing else they can do. They also claim that I was notified of the Investigation on 10/21 even though that call has never been received.

    It has been 6 months total for this and they are dragging their feet and have yet accepted responsibility for never notified me that my account was compromised. The CSR lady I spoke with claimed that they usually do not place phone calls to customers as it burdens the customer. I am appalled at how easily it is for Asurion to show disregard for their customer's security and how they were so easily duped in this matter. Serious changes are needed but after dealing with said leadership I doubt that anything will come of it. As of now my phone is nothing more than a brick as I cannot get it upgraded or replaced by anyone.

    Your robo-menu is a circular route of insanity. There's no way to ask for a representative. If I had lost my phone and had no internet and needed a person, you would shunt me over to Verizon. After the device was sent back you sent an email saying that phone tracking wasn't turned off. As it was my son's iPhone and I use Android I had to get him. He's a bit hard to deal with. Originally, he was told to delete the phone, which he did. NO MENTION OF TURNING OF "FIND MY PHONE" WAS MADE. It wasn't made on the phone, to get the claim going, once I finally got a person. Robo-menu likes to disconnect. It wasn't in the instructions for the return of said phone!

    However, approximately 2 weeks after the phone was dutifully returned, I got an email saying that I was going to be charged $500! I had to call, get disconnected twice and sent to Verizon which sent me finally back to you. The customer service representative was very nice, once I finally got her. My son got the instructions from Verizon, but she checked to make sure you people had what you wanted. I told her I was sorry for my tone, because it wasn't her fault. I did want to speak with someone in authority, but that wasn't possible.

    I have 2 suggestions: 1. Make the menu easier to navigate. We've been using Verizon for 10 years and originally, I got a person right away. 2. Tell the person exactly what you need in order to return the phone both before and in the written return instructions, before sending them an email that leaves them thinking about being charged $500, on top of the deductible! The people answering the phone were very nice and I liked the fact that they weren't in Pakistan.

    I pay $30 a month roughly to insure 3 devices with Asurion as Verizon being my telco phone provider. However when I want to make a claim I have to pay $60 for the screen and $150 for any damage other than a screen.     Overall I’m very dissatisfied with this company and disappointed that I had no choice but to go through this company for phone insurance purposes. The first refurbished phone I was sent would freeze when I tried to make or answer calls. The only way I could call out was to restart my phone every single time. I called to report the issue. I was told that it is standard procedure to “troubleshoot” the phone before another phone is sent. Completely understandable. I’m just not sure how you troubleshoot a hardware issue by resetting the entire phone but that’s what I was told. Resetting didn’t work of course and I had to call back within 30 minutes of resetting the phone to have another phone sent. I received a second phone today and the microphone doesn’t work. The only way the person on the other end can hear me is if I use my headphones. At this point it’s obvious that Asurion doesn’t care to check these phones before they send them out and they don’t care about their customers.

    When I bought the cell phone and paying $10 per month for the Asurion protection plan, and I got the letter shows that the replacement service fee is $149, but today the guy called Marcel who is working at the Asurion told me that the replacement service fee is $249. I asked him why, he told me because the price went up. But I told him I have a legal document from your company shows that the replacement service fee is only $149. He told me it doesn't matter what the letter shows, the price went up is went up. I also don't understand the cell phone is getting old, but the replacement price is getting higher?     The worst experience. Not only was my husband and I given such a hard time with our address, being told they refused to send it even though we had proof it was our address and literally had no other way to receive the phone. We argued with them for days over it asking for other alternatives since they wouldn’t send it. Finally someone said they would just mail it to our post office and it would be there the next day. That day comes and we get an email our claim is on a 24 hour hold (this is after 3 days when it’s supposed to overnighted). Then we call and get the same issue with yet another representative.

    Finally we insist on a supervisor and she gets our address in and ready to send and we receive the phone after another 2 days and guess what the SIM card won’t work. We drive all the way to a local Verizon store. They tell us the phone is broken and won’t accept any SIM cards so they call you guys and we get the same arguments about our address and get told to submit the same affidavit AGAIN. We do that, get another representative. After submitting that tried to argue with us about our address and FINALLY we get a phone sent in the next day or 2. This phone is awful, always freezing and glitching. I’m now paying monthly full price for a piece of garbage phone from a terrible company with absolutely horrendous customer service.
