    I enjoy my experience with the claim department replace my Samsung Galaxy Edge. The only issue I have is the deductible I think it should be lower. My opinion is that a hundred and forty dollars is little bit pricey. I think 75 is reasonable amount for a cell phone.

    Overall I’m very dissatisfied with this company and disappointed that I had no choice but to go through this company for phone insurance purposes. The first refurbished phone I was sent would freeze when I tried to make or answer calls. The only way I could call out was to restart my phone every single time. I called to report the issue. I was told that it is standard procedure to “troubleshoot” the phone before another phone is sent. Completely understandable. I’m just not sure how you troubleshoot a hardware issue by resetting the entire phone but that’s what I was told. Resetting didn’t work of course and I had to call back within 30 minutes of resetting the phone to have another phone sent. I received a second phone today and the microphone doesn’t work. The only way the person on the other end can hear me is if I use my headphones. At this point it’s obvious that Asurion doesn’t care to check these phones before they send them out and they don’t care about their customers.

    The phone service and delivery was perfect, however the replacement phone I'm not happy with. Our blackberry priv was discontinued so you had to send an LG G6, I don't like it at all.     Spent over an hour trying to file a claim dealing with multiple website bugs and inconsistencies. When I finally got them to recognize my former phone and explained my issues there was an error message telling me they couldn't replace my phone because what I described was an "equipment malfunction". The device is literally unusable. The screen doesn't work when touched but they won't replace it. My family and I are furious that we've spent so much for insurance and the 1 time we need it we don't get the help we deserve.

    I'm happy with the service because it was rather quick and I did receive my new phone within a couple days. However, I do pay a monthly premium for insurance and I think that the deductible is quite high considering you don't even receive a new phone, you receive a refurbished phone. I have to say that the refurbished phone still has glitches. I think the deductible should be much less seeing I am still paying a monthly fee for my new phone that I no longer have.

    I had no idea that a damaged phone had to be reported within 60 days. As a single mom, I didn't have the $ for the replacement for almost 10 months (I borrowed an old phone from my oldest son). When I did get the money, I had to jump through hoops because of the 60 day deadline that no one has ever made me aware of.     When I bought the cell phone and paying $10 per month for the Asurion protection plan, and I got the letter shows that the replacement service fee is $149, but today the guy called Marcel who is working at the Asurion told me that the replacement service fee is $249. I asked him why, he told me because the price went up. But I told him I have a legal document from your company shows that the replacement service fee is only $149. He told me it doesn't matter what the letter shows, the price went up is went up. I also don't understand the cell phone is getting old, but the replacement price is getting higher? It doesn't make any sense.

    The worst experience. Not only was my husband and I given such a hard time with our address, being told they refused to send it even though we had proof it was our address and literally had no other way to receive the phone. We argued with them for days over it asking for other alternatives since they wouldn’t send it. Finally someone said they would just mail it to our post office and it would be there the next day. That day comes and we get an email our claim is on a 24 hour hold (this is after 3 days when it’s supposed to overnighted). Then we call and get the same issue with yet another representative.

    Finally we insist on a supervisor and she gets our address in and ready to send and we receive the phone after another 2 days and guess what the SIM card won’t work. We drive all the way to a local Verizon store. They tell us the phone is broken and won’t accept any SIM cards so they call you guys and we get the same arguments about our address and get told to submit the same affidavit AGAIN. We do that, get another representative. After submitting that tried to argue with us about our address and FINALLY we get a phone sent in the next day or 2. This phone is awful, always freezing and glitching. I’m now paying monthly full price for a piece of garbage phone from a terrible company with absolutely horrendous customer service.

    I was very happy with the one day service. The negative is the replacement phone broke in one month. Once again I received one day service to replace the one month old phone, which is excellent. I find it strange the replacement phone does not come with the latest updates. This makes using ICloud restoration a longer process, since you have to manually update the phone to use backup Icloud. Leads me to believe it is reconditioned, not a new phone.

    Bought a PS4 from Walmart on 3/10/15 and paid for Asurion care plan. Absolutely the worst mistake I ever made. PS4 unit has been returned to Asurion for repairs over 3-4 times. Asurion keeps sending unit back to me saying that the problem has been solved, when clearly signs of overheating and not playing discs are always present when I receive it back.

    Supervisor by the name of Adam stated that no matter how many times unit gets sent in they will not replace it because their techs are not locating problem. I have video proof and pictures of what exactly the unit has been doing for the last 2 yrs I've had it. It has been cleaned and inspected by Asurion but that's about it or so they say. All I know is that the unit is not fixed, the problem is not solved, was hassled by both associate and supervisor not listening and not giving a care in the world for the problem that is at hand only arguing with me! I have already made it a point to use any means I can to inform all people not to buy Asurion's care plan! ASURION DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS!!! Until the damn thing catches fire and destroys property will they probably give a damn... Probably not.

    My FIRST replacement arrived fast. Unfortunately it was a used device that was literally falling apart. When I called to address the issue, the representative wanted me to do a bunch of troubleshooting that had absolutely nothing to do with the phone physically falling apart! She had me so upset I found myself swearing at her trying to get her to understand the issue. Finally I gave up and hung up.

    When I called back I was thankfully connected to a different person. That gentleman quickly understood the problem and started taking corrective action immediately. He apologized and set up, not only a new phone, but the latest model for my replacement! Within a matter of mere minutes, he turned an upset customer who was swearing at the last representative to a happy, satisfied customer. I was about to never use Asurion again because of the first replacement I was sent, and then the obvious unqualified representative who handled my call, but the second representative did everything right in my opinion.     A phone on my account stopped working. The motherboard had "crashed" according to Verizon customer support. I then contacted Asurion (my first mistake) and paid $150 for a new phone. When we received the new phone, not only was it broken, it still had contacts in it and PICTURES still in it (if you know what I mean by my capitalization). I called Asurion (3 times total) and was told I needed to troubleshoot the phone.

    The phone is physically broken. Troubleshooting it is not going to fix it. It was as if they didn't believe me that there were contents in the phone when they shipped it and we received it, or that it was broken. I called 2 other times to try and get the issue resolved, and to no avail, I was given the run around and kept getting "We need to troubleshoot the device" and when I work 70 hours a week and have a family to maintain, I cannot and will not be given the run around over $150 junk phone that they sent me.

    This is their problem. It will get resolved, or I will be filing a small claims in small claims court, and we will either receive a phone that actually works, or we will get our $150 back so we can get him another phone that actually works. I also asked for my call to be escalated, and was told "They will tell you the same thing" so I hung up, again, because I do not have time to be bounced around. DO NOT USE ASURION. IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY.

    I have a bad experience with Asurion recently. It's unusual that Asurion sent in two defective devices which Sprint reps can't activate. For another replacement device, I was required to do the documentation online. I tried but I can't so, I requested for a hard copy. At least 4 representatives lied including the manager that they mailed out the form. They never mailed it out. I got the form from one of the Sprint store. It took a month and a half before I have a replacement cellphone. I'm sorry but, Asurion representatives are not committed and dedicated in helping customer. I grade them "0".

There is one issue that I have with the phone: The speaker will *crackle* depending on the pitch and volume of the sound being produced - typically when volume is near or at maximum. When we called the first time, the person that helped us told us to try a factory reset and if that didn’t work to call back and they would send out a new one.     After I received my new phone, I followed the information about what to do in order to get my old phone off of the account. I kept on getting emails saying that I did not take the old phone off the account & was going to be charged $500. Being very frustrated because I was not able to talk to anyone at Asurion, (after many long waits), I finally called Verizon. They helped me by having me go to my settings which was a much easier way of getting the phone off of my account.     I pay a lot of money for insurance and I think it's absurd that I have to also pay a lot of money for the deductible. You're not providing a new phone; you're providing one that's been used and repaired "as new".
