Overall, I was very happy with my phone replacement. I thought I would get a replacement phone at no charge since I have insurance on it, but I did have a copay. Otherwise, I received my replacement phone and a new charger within a day. Thank you.

This is not our first experience with Asurion phone insurance. We always keep our devices insured. As always, our claim was processed quickly and easily. The website is simple to use, and the instructions are easy to follow. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Entire process was smooth, and questions answered within a reasonable period, amazing! My phone was crushed on the highway, yet within three days I had my well working refurbished phone. After updating my backup, was like it was never gone. Thanks for all the help.

The service was good but offering Saturday delivery would be nice and don't charge extra for it and then you won't have to wait the whole weekend for your phone if happens close to the weekend. The deductible is too high. A lower premium. It is expensive for what the service is.

So I have a Samsung tablet from Sprint. The charging port has failed. I attempted to contact Sprint as I am paying their monthly fee for their service protection plan. Sprint gave me the number for Asurion and said they are the ones that handle claims on tablets. When I contacted Asurion their customer service representative was absolutely incompetent. They were unable to verify who I was with any method other than a PIN number that apparently Sprint gave me that I have never once used in the 20 years that I have been a customer of Sprint. They informed me that there was no way they could verify who I was without this pin number and transferred me to Sprint customer service.
When I spoke to the people at Sprint they were confused thinking that I could get validated through Asurion through either my security question, or last 4 of my social, etcetera, etcetera. I was then transferred back to Asurion who yet again could not help me. So I spent an hour trying to figure out how to find and reset this supposed pin number that was necessary. Finally get that done. Attempt to call Asurion again even though it was during their normal business hours then phone message I got said that they were after hours and promptly hung up on me. Still have been unable to file a claim. Asurion obviously does not have their act together. I believe this is a giant ripoff and a scam. I had a similar issue with a Google phone and the customer service at Google was awesome. They had this handled within 10 minutes over the phone. Why can't Asurion be like that. Horrible horrible service.

Asurion did a great job with the handling of my claim for a damaged tablet. I was very pleased with the ease of the process and the speed of delivery of the replacement. The deductible was kinda high but overall a satisfactory experience.

The phone I was sent to replace my damaged phone won't update and I can't use apps like Samsung Health or Samsung Pay because I was sent a rooted device. What's the point of having an $800 phone if it won't update or let me use the apps that I partially chose the phone for.

I was helped in a timely manner and my replacement tablet came right away. I had received a brand new tablet. It was a different brand because the one I had was discontinued. My screen had cracked and it was covered under the insurance. I filled my claim online and it was quick and easy.

I have only had issues with this phone since I received it, it is slower and much glitch-ier than the new one that I originally purchased. The only reason I haven't sent it back is because I don't want to pay again. These refurbished phones are the worst! The phone did get to me in a very quick amount of time and for that I am thankful.

I was pleasantly surprised by Asurion's service. I broke the screen on my S7 Edge and needed it replaced. Service was very user friendly and fast. They also made returning the broken device very convenient. Just put the old device in the padded envelope they provide and put in the mail box.

The phone that was sent to me has no battery life. I have to charge it at least four times a day. Not impressed that I pay the fee every month when really I could have just paid off my phone for what I had paid in insurance and gotten a phone that is reliable.

Service technician/customer reps were awesome! I was disappointed in the replacement phone. The phone is great, however, they did not tell me that it was a USB C connecter.. Had to order a new case, and extra cables for the car charger, etc.

The hardest part about making the exchange was talking to the right person. One of them wanted me to fill out forms I could not get online and was going to mail them to me. The last item I had to warranty was done over the phone and was very easy to do. I finally talked to the right person and received my phone.

My phone had a defective screen with no display. I was asked to do a reset. I advised that I could not due to this issue. The representatives were NOT understanding and insisted that I attempt to do a reset. No EMPATHY for the situation!! Just programmed ROBOTS with no sense of direction.

Overall, the process was streamlined and quick. However, I received numerous emails about turning off the Find my phone app even though I had already removed the phone from my apple account. It was bothersome. Finally, I received a phone call from Asurion about the find my phone app being still on and was told that they could not confirm whether or not it was but that no one at Asurion had updated the information. I know that Asurion could do a better job.

We have 5 phones that we insure through Asurion and have been paying this for over 5 years on various phones as we trade in for new phones every year and a half. The one time I have turned to Asurion for repair replacement help, it has become very clear what a disaster and poor service the company provides its customers. The Asurion first person I spoke with (a female who said she did not normally work in the claims department) was BEYOND RUDE and when I asked for her name, she hung up on me after having to wait on hold forever and giving all sorts of personal information to get to speak to her in the first place. The next Asurion representative that Simi from the AT&T store Greenwich, CT and I spoke with (I went into the AT&T store Greenwich to make my next call to Asurion as I was appalled by the previous treatment by Asurion) was very nice.
I explained that the replacement phone was for my 14 year old son and I would only take SILVER OR BLACK (the only thing wrong is a cracked screen, phone works perfectly) and she said that although they only had a red in stock, they would put it on the wait list and only send out a silver or a black. At that point, AND BASED ON THESE ASSURANCES to both myself and Simi, the AT&T Greenwich representative, did I proceed with the claim. I am a lawyer and was VERY CLEAR that I would not proceed if the replacement was red or gold. Today I received the replacement phone (some 2 weeks after I put in the claim) and the phone we received was RED. I have paid Asurion insurances on many phones for at least 5 years.
The treatment I have received in these interactions shows me that: 1) Asurion is a monopolistic insurer that should be reported to the FTC. 2) Asurion treats its customers poorly and 3) IS NOT WORTH THE MONTHLY FEES IT CHARGES. I am appalled that I waited on hold 1/2 hour today and could not speak to a human being and had an automated system only tell me the ship date of the WRONG REPLACEMENT phone over and over again... You as a company should be worried that people with the experience I have had will NEVER insure through you again and will buy their phones through Apple and do AppleCare and other alternatives as Asurion treats their customers TERRIBLY and this will impact your numbers as each person gets a new phone...

Replacement iPhone experience was great. No problems at all. This was a replacement for a phone that was destroyed. Would definitely recommend your company and use again. Representatives were professional and friendly. I had an issue with Apple (Turning off Find my IPhone) but that was not Asurion's fault.

I was so pleased with the service I received trying to get my granddaughter's phone replaced. They were courteous, and prompt, professional. It was simple, I called and talked to a Representative and she took care of it. All I had to do was to send the broken phone back in, which they provided the envelope. A great big thank you! The screen on my replacement device broke after about 1 week. I didn't even drop it - it seemed to have not been properly installed, so I'm guessing my replacement device had its screen repaired previously, because the screen seemed a bit off / out of place when I got it. It essentially cracked under pressure - and now the crack has expanded a bit. So, long story short, I'm very dissatisfied, as the screen completely shattered without even being dropped. It was charging on a table and shattered itself. Please let me know what I should do - I'd like to have someone fix this.

We are already having issues with the phone. It freezes up and you can’t even turn the phone off. Sometimes it will work with no issues but it freezes up more than it works. This all started about a week ago.

Bought a chest freezer from Walmart. Bought the Asurion service protection plan for 3 years coverage. Freezer broke about 1.5 years after purchase. Tried to file claim and got NOTHING but hassles. Put on hold for hours and hours. Passed off from one person to another. Promised call backs which I NEVER received. Told one thing by one person and something completely different by another. Their claims department would never respond to email and everyone involved there were indifferent to rude and for sure, didn't care about helping me get another freezer. I'm retired poor and on a fixed income so this is a big deal to me. All my food went bad and I filled out their food claim form and never heard back. I feel very violated by this company and would advise everyone to steer clear. All they did was raise my blood pressure to dangerous levels and rip me off.

I had my screen replaced by U Break I Fix. When I received it back you could barely hear the person on the other end with the phone to your ear. Sounded very analog and distorted. You could only communicate using speaker mode or plugging in a headset.

I broke my phone on Friday evening. I filed a claim at 11 pm at night, and received replacement by 10:30 am the next day. It was like magic, and I never had to deal with Verizon. Total bonus!! It was a very good transaction considering that I had a broken, semi new phone. Highly recommend.

I was provided an *off-brand* phone because Asurion no longer had any rebuilds of my Samsung model. The available model they did have, they said, was an "upgrade" so they refused to provide it, even when I offered to pay something toward the replacement. The off-brand "equivalent" phone came with a proprietary plug which meant I could not use any of my backup battery packs. OtterBox (my choice ever since I've used cell phones) doesn't make a case for it, so I had no means of protecting the phone. No automobile charger (standard with the other brand of phone) was sent until I complained. Although it was an Android smartphone, it had so many peculiarities, I actually gave up on it, the Asurion "warranty," and returned the device to Asurion. I then purchased a new phone at my expense. I have an OtterBox to protect it, and it is compatible with all my other paraphernalia. Although quite negative, this is a fair and accurate review.

My handyman lost his tablet and using a Asurion was a fast and easy way to get a replacement. Thank goodness I had it covered so I didn't have to pay double the cost to replace the device. It's very helpful to me to receive the same device so all my employees are using similar equipment.

This service is very expensive and requires you to jump to way too many hoops. It took hours in order to accomplish anything, and at the end of it, they would not let me bring my phone into a store, required it to be replaced, and gave no explanation into why. I would not recommend using this plan.

Replacement of Samsung Note 8 - My phone was so new to the market the store didn't even have cases or covers when I bought it. So of course three days later it fell out of my coat pocket and the screen broke all to hell. Contacted Asurion, new phone arrived in two days, went back to Verizon to set it up and they had just gotten the cases and screen protectors in. Thanks.

The instructions were simple and clear. The phone arrived quickly. It was an iPhone. We followed the instructions to turn off the locator on the phone. We did but I still got an email stating the locator was on. So I followed the instructions (for the computer) to log in and turn it off. We did that too. I haven't heard anything back so that must have worked. Other than that little hiccup, it was a simple and painless thing.

Love the phone, I sent in a slide phone. Replacement was a smart phone. My main problem with Asurion was I didn't receive a phone manual. I didn't have directions on how to answer IT!!! I missed several calls. But I have since figured it out.

My daughter's phone had broken and since I had the insurance plan all I had to do was log on to the website for a replacement. The site was very easy to navigate and the instructions were very easy to follow. I received my replacement device within 48 hours of filing my claim.

Needed to replace phone due to screen damage. The process was complete in 24 hours and easy to complete. My replacement phone arrived as scheduled and I was able to activate the new phone without issue and then return the damaged phone as per the instructions provided.

Happy with the service but it got complicated when the service technician kept the SIM card holder rendering my newly repaired phone unusable. Asurion sent another phone instead of trying to locate and notify the repair technician. I understand the decision to get the situation handled quickly, it just seems like a great deal of money was spent to replace the phone instead of find the person. Thank you for all the effort, I will continue to use the service.

I was pleased with the turn around time I received a new phone, however it was replaced with a flip and I had a slider. I still am having a problem adjusting to sending text since I have to hit a letter more than once to get to the correct letter that I need.

It was very hard to replace our phone for the church. While I do appreciate your endurance to protect our interests, due to to the rules it took us two months to replace our church phone. This phone is carried by the pastor, who is on 24/7 call. There needs to be an easier system to get phones to people.

The first phone received did not work and therefore we had to request another one, thereby delaying access to phone service. Somewhat disruptive but responsive to situation. Verizon should guarantee that the phone is going to work or else provide some compensation as the insurance is expensive and the phone should be reliable.

These statements are true and fair. Trying to fill out your form was like no help from you or Verizon. You both kept sending us back and forth to each other to figure it out. Neither of you seemed to know anything about your form. And you gave us wrong info. twice when asked what something meant. Listen to your own recorded conversations with Lorna. Frustrating experience and very stressful trying to make you happy with answers on your form. Some people were nice and some wanted to push us off to someone else. It's your form. We thought with getting no straight answers was a game on your part, for us to give up and go away. Your people on the phone need to be educated so this doesn't happen.

Over the past ten years I have had to deal with several accidents that occurred with my son's phone due to his riding a motorcycle. Asurion is a great option for parents to cover phones. Within 48 hours he had his replacement which was needed since he is at college and I travel a lot. Thank YOU.

Kind of disappointed with service. At first I was told that they could not deliver to my office because the address had to be reviewed??? Don’t know why I get stuff there every day then I was sent a refurbished phone. Well I didn’t purchase a refurbished to start with so I should not have been sent a refurb without my knowledge. I don’t pay refurbished insurance and it would not connect with my computer and then it died because the plug in port was bad. Then after all that I had to take off work so I could stay home to receive it and still missed the UPS man. But after I got the replacement phone again I had to call Apple so they could reset something on it for it to work. But now I’m happy I got a phone again so everyone can bother me, it sure was nice without it.

My son had his new phone within 24 hours of his breaking. He was very happy to say the least. The process was extremely easy for me to follow. I am very happy that I have the insurance on our plan. My phone dropped and the screen cracked. I placed a request to Asurion and had a replacement phone in less than 24 hours. This program is well worth the little monthly fee as it only cost $20 for the replacement phone, it would have cost a lot more for a new phone if I did not have this insurance.

Great insurance service. I received my new device in only one or two days. I had misplaced the return envelope and a with a simple phone call a new one was sent out immediately. The return was just as simple as the insurance claim was. I would purchase the insurance again.

Everyone I spoke to was friendly, calm, and knowledgeable, and the phone arrived in less than 24 hours, at exactly the time they said it would. Highly recommend! The form on the website is a bit confusing — I accidentally filled it out wrong at first because the difference between “damage” and “malfunction” wasn’t obvious to me and I had to call to get it fixed.

Had a LG tablet that had unique features and cracked the screen. Instead of charging me $35 to fix the screen I was forced to change models to an Acer which I dislike for $100. If I knew they wouldn't fix or replace my specific device I would have never signed up.

I am with Fido in Vancouver. Last year the replacement was faulty. You then sent me a Samsung Galaxy S6 for $134 CAD. As we all know phones last a year and sure enough battery, charger, earphone jack are broken and I need a replacement. I pay $11 a month since July last year. I am on a month to month contract with Fido. The same phone you provided me 16 months ago is all you offered to replace me with for $200 now. How the hell is that possible? All I got from customer service was pay it or nothing else can be done, Asurion can increase prices without notice I was told.
I can purchase a Samsung Galaxy S6 from eBay or wherever for $200-209 right now online and unlocked. Why did I pay you guys $166? You offered me no advantage whatsoever. You are a scam. I canceled my coverage with you yesterday. I would rather give my money elsewhere. I'm that annoyed. I just wasted that money on your company. This review is genuine and real before you question it. Takes a lot for me to bother even writing this stupid review.

Replaced a damaged iPhone. The time of response was incredible. Next day! I have to say in the past I've Gotten replacement phones and they have had issues out of the box that I lived with. Not too mention the cost I feel is still too expensive. However response was excellent.

It took me 6 times to finally get your company to accept that I had turned off "Find my Phone" on my old phone. I got numerous emails and a phone call (which was a nice touch) warning me that I would have to pay 500 if this was not done. I even talked with two tech reps on the phone and they assured me all was well. Finally last week we got it sorted out. All this time the "find my phone' had been turned off as instructed. All phone calls were handed in a professional manner and the reps were super - just there was no follow through on your end to ensure that I would not be billed. I finally had to go through Verizon and get them to contact you and get it sorted out.

Filing the claim and receiving the replacement phone was a piece of cake. However afterwards, I continuously received, and am still receiving phone calls that my iCloud needs to be turned off or my card will be charged the $500 fee. They are not recorded calls, but an actual employee calling. When I called to check on it the representative told me it was turned off but there would be no way to turn off me receiving the calls. It is very annoying to keep getting calls stating you are going to be charged a large fee, and seems very inefficient for the company to have its employees call customers for apparently no reason. I will be looking into another alternative for future replacements.

Hate to say I’m highly disappointed. Been a Cust so many years, Started with Centennial back when We has bag phones. We stayed with Verizon ever since day y’all took over. Anyways. This past couple months I’ve had some bad luck with My phones. 1st ins claim since I️ can Remember. Got phone in, didn’t work proper. Went thru The whole reset ordeal still non working. Got another, worked for most part minus few lil issues. I️ got it wet. Has to do another claim and received this one that is even worse. You can see type errors with The I️ (See how it does) then it drops calls & noises go off for no reason.
Now today it had me lose msg when sending & receiving. Know y’all will send another. But They all refurbished & works half way & makes me so cranky. Plus all The trouble to reset everything & time at stores to do backups proper. I’m sick with this! Plus been paying ins on 3 lines to get re fixed phones that are nothing but a nightmare!!! So disappointed.

The last time I had to replace my phone it was insured with a different company. It was a nightmare. The associates were not very knowledgeable and it led to a great deal of confusion, several phone calls and several online chats. Asurion was as simple as opening the claim online, receiving the new phone the next day and mailing back the old one as soon as everything was transferred. Directions were included with the new phone. So easy!

I took my phone in to have the cracked screen replaced. It was a small crack, but a new phone, so I wanted it fixed. The place the insurance company sent me to (U Break I fix) shattered the back of my phone in the process of fixing the front screen; and placed tape over the back so shards of glass would not get in my finger. They told me that there was nothing that they can do about it, and to just put a phone cover over it. The front of the screen started turning purple after I took it in to have it fixed, and because the back is shattered (which was not my fault) I now have to pay the deductible for a new phone. My phone is now in worse shape then when I took it in.
The insurance company then proceeds to tell me that because the phone is now damaged it is not covered under warranty. The insurance company tells me that I should have my phone by next day, but they put my address in wrong and now there is no way to receive my package until Monday. I am without a phone for several days because of this. I can't believe Verizon uses this insurance company. I have never had such a horrible experience with my phone.

I went to Verizon to ensure that my old iPhone was turned off so I could mail it back to Asurion and not incur a charge. Verizon assured me I was "good to go." I mailed my damaged phone back to you and about two weeks later, I received an email saying I hadn't turned off the phone. I called and was told all was fine and to ignore the email.
Another week or so went by, and my husband got a message saying I was subject to a $500 fine if I didn't act promptly. We got on your website to follow instructions, WHICH WERE INCOMPLETE, AS THEY DIDN'T HAVE A PROMPT TO HANDLE OUR PARTICULAR ISSUE. I hit the wrong button and erased all the data on my current iPhone. When I called your team, they said they couldn't help and connected me to Apple tech. The problem was I didn't know what to ask them. After a second call to Apple tech, I finally retrieved my data and with a 3rd call to Asurion, I also FINALLY got a terrific man who worked me through the necessary steps to resolve the problem. I talked to Asurion reps two times - Once to call about the wait and a second time over confusion about FindMyiPhone being off. Both reps were super rude. The woman, Belle was the rudest. Purchased cell phone warranty with Costco for my iPhone 6 for $129. After a year the phone was freezing and was told by Costco to contact Asurion. After an $80 deductible I was sent a refurbished iPhone 6. The phone was immediately malfunctioning and not usable. I was sent a second refurbished phone that is freezing more than my original and is not receiving all text messages. A third claim was put in. I was sent a form to fill out and sign pretty much stating if I was lying about the problem they would take legal action.
They now require me to send them my phone and be without a phone in order to send a replacement. As it is a business phone that was not possible. I was given a buyout option of $750. Spoke to a manager who said they would send me another phone. Didn’t happen. Was told on 3 different occasions that customer support would call the in 1-3 business days.
No calls. Spoke to another manager ‘Matt’ who told me I will not get another phone until I sent me mine in. I requested the $750 buyout. Matt informed me that my phone had depreciated $250 in 2 weeks and can only get $500. I requested my original phone back and was told no. So it cost me over $200 and now I’m stuck with a phone that’s giving me more problems than my original. Save your money or go with another option like Apple Care.

My mom's iPhone was picked up from public bathroom and taken rather than turning it in. We used the find my iPhone feature and was able to trace it to its last known location but unable to apprehend it. It was only a week old with the additional screen saver and case etc that were all lost. I paid the 200. And was able to get my mom back into her phone within a few days. I just wish the thief would have been willing to turn the phone in at the customer service desk and save us the trauma of the situation and unnecessary expense to a phone that was nothing but a paperweights got once reported. On my 4th replacement iPhone in ONE week due to every "certified like new replacement" phone I receive failing within the first 24 hours of use. My iPhone 6's battery was only lasting 2-4 hours of nonusage time and less than an hours of actual usage time. Verizon was very understanding, as I have insurance and Verizon assessed the phone was suffering a manufacturer's default, they put in the request for an overnight replacement to be sent to me. The delivery was quick and set up was easy, unfortunately after 45 minutes of use the phone screen dimmed. I took the device to the store and was informed another replacement would have to be ordered.
My 2nd replacement arrived, it worked for several hours then failed to connect to the network, the upper left corner of the screen shows "SEARCHING". I reset the network and factory settings, neither fixed the problem. I returned to the Verizon store and received a new sim card, which got the phone working for another 24 hours after which it reverted to "SEARCHING". The Verizon store again was helpful in ordering ANOTHER replacement. My 3rd replacement arrived and immediately after installing my profile from the cloud the screen abruptly went black. The device would not turn back on even after charging overnight, at which point I contacted Verizon and was again informed that I would have to order another replacement. 4th replacement inbound, fingers crossed...

First replacement lasted two days then turned off, rebooted and died. Second replacement had an invalid Samsung Model number (googling the invalid model number from "about Phone" menu returned nothing on a google search) and Samsung support said with the wrong model number it could never be properly registered to the Samsung account And Samsung reported to me that the IMEI number was already registered to someone else' account. I received a replacement phone after the screen broke on my Samsung S8. The phone arrived quickly and was easily set up. It works great. The deductible was reasonable. I would recommend Asurion to anyone purchasing a new phone. It would, however, be a benefit to me if I could obtain a receipt showing the screen on my other phone was broken. This would allow me to collect on another warranty on the screen itself. Thanks.

My husband is a chef, and his phone fell out of his apron. On the fall, it took out some oil and cracked the screen when it hit the floor. We have a new daughter, 3 mo., so having a phone that works, is crucial! The replacement phone was mailed/received in 24 hrs, along w/ the envelope to send the broken phone back. We followed the directions to clear the old phone, then sent it back... Easy!! Thank you!!

This is my mother's phone I had to replace. She handed me her phone and said it doesn't work. Well, it was not something I was going to fix. I went to Verizon to inquire how to get it fixed. I received the online information. I went on filled out everything which was VERY simple to do and the replacement came. Easy. Easy. No hassles. No problems. Best spend is insurance on your phone. Asurion did a good job processing my insurance claim for a new phone. My only complaint would be that it took too long to get a new phone. My old phone was literally on its last legs and it's a good thing it was still (barely) working when I got my new phone. Other than that, it was great.

I'll start with I usually don't reply to surveys, but my recent experience with Asurion struck a nerve. I called to replace they said the phone was on backorder. I waited a bit and nothing so I went online to file claim, and was told that my phone was discontinued. At this point I've became aggravated. Waited a week called back in and was told I can get the phone by an operator within a week. So with that said I just feel like I was getting the runaround. In other words lots of confusion. Sorry.

Quick and easy replacement provided via the internet. I had no problem explaining and filling out he required documentation. When I lost my broadband they delivered a replacement within three days of reporting it and my insurance covered it. That's it.

YOU (Asurion) did your job. I received the replacement in a--somewhat--timely fashion. Considering this claim was started on a Saturday, it only took until Tuesday Afternoon to arrive. HOWEVER: The 'Return Time' listed in your instructions was totally ambiguous... "MUST be returned in TEN days" from WHEN? ORDER? SHIP? RECEPTION? That just shows one of many reasons people DESPISE insurance companies: they can't the verbiage to their own vague benefit!
NOT TO MENTION: Most of us persons have lives to live beyond the need to spend hours on end manually transferring and verifying programs and information from one phone to another since the APPS that CLAIM to do this WON'T! And in my case, the day after the new phone came in, I had to make a family emergency trip over 500 miles out of state... MORE pressure!
CONSEQUENTLY, it cost me $38 extra to be sure you did not find a reason to screw me out of another $400! SO, even though I know what your answer is, how about a little compassion (beyond the alleged lip service during the order!) for your customers? We are already overstressed by the loss of access to our electronic lives... be so KIND as to SPECIFY the parameters of your TEN DAY LIMIT!!! Thanks.

When you lose your cell phone you quickly realize how essential it has become, but once I remembered I had Insurance I was reassured. The replacement phone came to us incredibly fast! The only negative I experienced was you claimed we did not turn off Find My Phone, when in fact, we had. Caused us some grief and effort in trying to turn it off after the damaged phone was returned. As far as we could tell, that function had been turned off when we returned the damaged phone. A+++ wonderful experience. Quick replacement. No hassle. Originally I was sent a replacement phone that did not work. When I called up to get my second replacement I had a little bit of difficulty until I spoke with the specialist. The Specialist made it very very easy. Perhaps you should always have a specialist answer the phone. The first Contact Representatives are not really able to do very much. But the specialists are spectacular.

It was confusing the directions, had to go back to Verizon store to get help to activate. Direction were not clear. Call the insurance 2 times they said finally said go to Verizon store to activate card. It should say on directions go to cell provider to activate.

I was very pleased to be shipped a replacement device so quickly. The replacement worked well and was straightforward to set up. However, I had VERY BAD experience after sending my old device back. I repeatedly received emails and phone calls telling me that I had not taken all proper steps to deactivate the old device (when in fact I had done everything properly, and I had confirmed that with a customer service rep). It took multiple calls on my end to have the repeat calls and emails terminated.

I did receive the new tablet promptly. The instructions for disabling the device before returning it did not work for me and brought me much angst. After a number of follow-up inquiries, someone from your office called and told me I would not be responsible for any fee ($500) associated with my inability to disable the device. The deductible ($125) after I paid for repair insurance was very high in my opinion. I just bought another tablet and you are once again the insurer.

The replacement iPhone 6 also had a screen issue, but I was tired of dealing with the problem and just lived with it. There was a noticeable white line down the center of the screen. The home button also wasn't aligned properly and made a "clicking" noise when pressed.

The process was very simple. I went to the Verizon store and they submitted the claim. In a couple of days I received the new phone. It was simple and easy to hook up and turn on and with the old phone I only had to drop it in a bag and put in the mailbox.

This doesn’t happen to me, but then gravity decided that my impeccably cared for iPhone 7 Plus was due for an impact with my ceramic tile floor, just as I was switching between cases. Happened Sunday morning, replacement device was sitting on my office desk Tuesday noon. Deductible for mine was $200 which wasn’t low but still reasonable for the type of device and I’m happy I carried a policy. Would recommend anyone with higher end phones to insure and I’d trust Asurion with the task again.

Monthly fee is high enough. The deductible is outrageous. I pay over $40 a month. For the deductible to be nearly $200 seems atrocious. Fast delivery though and easy to submit the claim information. Just seems like there would be a more affordable option.

Getting the replacement was quick and easy. However, I have been unable to get in contact with anyone to assist me with removing the phone from Find My iPhone. I believe I have but keep receiving calls stating I have not. This is my only issue. Otherwise I’d give you the full 5 stars.
