    Communications with Asurion was the worst. This progress took several weeks. Verizon called it in to Asurion. Got a ok, They had one in stock but said they could not let me trade it out. It have to come through Asurion. Kept get e-mails stating they wanted me to fill again over the computer, I did this. I call Verizon. They call and said everything was good. I got the same e-mails constantly. And still no phone. After several weeks finally received it. Also I had your insurance and I still had to pay $199.00 dollars.

    Unfortunately when the tech tried to replace the glass on my Samsung 7 Edge the job did not go well and I could not make or receive calls as well as other issues after she was done. The phone is high tech and very difficult to repair the glass it seems, so I did understand.     All contact with customer service was superb. Whoever is in charge of packaging and delivery was subpar. I was mailed 3 separate devices. The first one was blacklisted and couldn't be activated.     I have been a Asurion customer for over 10 years and have done a claim in the past. They used to be very customer oriented, however, they have changed. I opted for a $30 screen replacement and received a voucher. Once I was able to coordinate with my son, we took the phone to the location. 45 minutes later the store calls me to say that they are out of stock for the type of screen they needed. The store told me to contact Asurion customer service to figure out another solution. Customer service initially told me that my only other option was to pay a much higher deductible for phone replacement. I complained that I had wasted several hours of my afternoon and requested to do the service where they come to you, however, that was not available.

    The customer service representative eventually said they would just make it right by sending me a replacement at the $30 price (rather than the higher deductible). She transferred me to customer relations. This is no joke when I tell you this but the customer relations person said that there is NO WAY that I would get a replacement at the $30 price and told me to either pay the higher deductible or take somewhere further than the place I was at (which was already 35 minutes from house). You can't make up stuff like this and truly sad to see companies act like this.

    I paid for a full or total coverage for my new iPhone X with Verizon. When I signed up for this I was told If I ever made a claim it would take three hours to process the claim and usually my phone would be sent to me within one or two days. Now that I’ve been paying, and actually need to use the service, the situation is quite different. It took days to address my claim that I filed the same day I broke my iPhone X. And when I finally was given an answer I was told that yes I’m entitled to a phone replacement but they are “temporarily out of stock“. The representative was incredibly rude, dismissive and kept saying, "Please refer to the small print in your contract."

    Another case of a company overpromising and under delivering. It’s been days since I broke my phone and there’s not even another phone on the horizon. I have absolutely no idea when my phone will be replaced. This insurance is a total rip off… I will probably have to end up buying a phone anyway because like you I can’t go two or three weeks or a month without my phone.

    TV broke down in December 2017. At that time, I thought I was lucky to have an extended warranty with Asurion, however, they choose Frazor Elec. to repair my TV. Instead of repair TV on site, Randy picked it up almost a month later and said it would take a week to repair since he had a month to order the parts. My tv was common 60 in. Vizio, one year old, so parts are available, but not for Randy. He had the TV a week and when I called him, Randy said he had the wrong parts. This was January, 10 2018. I called the warranty company to complain. When Veronica the supervisor for Asurion called and spoke to Randy, he told her he had bad parts. So Randy lied to either Veronica or myself.

    I spoke to Randy on January 11, 2018 to request that he return the screw that he had dropped in his van with the TV as it was a special one that went with the wall mount. I spoke to Randy January 12, 2018 to ask when my TV would be repaired and he told me rudely that he couldn't repair it and that he was in negotiations with the warranty company and then he hung up on me. Randy is a slacker, a liar and in my opinion, he will repair the TV and sell it as used in his shop. I will not deal with a repairman who has 2.2 stars on Google again. And I suggest that you find a different warranty company than Asurion.

    I have been a Sprint customer for years, at least a decade. About 6 months ago I bought a new Samsung Galaxy GS8+. Though the phone cost a small fortune, I was pleased with it. I have never dropped it, it's always been in a case, no water damage etc. A week ago, seeing the screen blank, I placed it on the charger. When picking it up, I could feel the hepatic feedback - the phone was still on. Touching the screen in places produced the familiar vibrations, but nothing displayed on the screen. I discovered the issue about a half hour after my local Sprint store closed. I went online, and attempted the fix I discovered online, both from the Sprint website as well as others. I called Sprint, and the tech repeatedly tried to give me instructions to reset the phone, although in order to power it off, I would need to see icons on the screen to touch and could not.

    After explaining this several times, about an hour later (including hold time, wait time etc) I hung up in frustration. The next day I went to Sprint. Since I have always carried their insurance, which advertises quick repair or replacement, usually the next day, and have never filed a claim, I wasn't too concerned. An hour and a half later, though the rep at my store tried everything he could, I left with a cheap loner phone (that I can't stand) and was told that Asurion would be sending me shipping instructions and packaging to send my phone to them. This was last Saturday.

    Their shipping stuff arrived to me late Monday afternoon, too late to be picked up that day and be sent back to them. I dropped it at my nearest Fedex early the following morning, and it was picked up late that Tuesday afternoon. I was told that once it arrived at their facility, they would immediately repair it or send a replacement of my phone. I called them and was told today, Saturday that the repair team has requested another 3-5 business days to fix my phone. That means I will go a full two weeks or more without my phone. I will be discontinuing my coverage and finding a third party insurance vendor to provide me with poor service instead.

    I insured my phone with Asurion. When the glass broke on the face of my phone about 10 days before Christmas, I went online to file a claim. Asurion shipped a brand new phone to me, which I received almost immediately (during a very busy time of year)! However, the wrong battery was included with the new phone I received. I called Asurion to tell them this.

    Since we planned to go out of state on vacation the week before Christmas, we were leaving soon. Therefore, I would not be home to receive the correct battery and return the old phone to them within their allotted policy time frame. When I called Asurion, they accommodated me by extending the return deadline almost a month. So I put everything on hold, to be continued when we got home. A few days after getting back from vacation, I continued with the claim process. However, now it was a day or two before the New Year holiday.

    Even though Asurion was responsible for sending the wrong battery for the new phone, they were very apologetic and accommodating and took care of all my needs during a very busy time of the year. Within a day or two after the New Year holiday, I received the correct battery. I transferred all my data from the old phone to the new one. Then I sent the broken phone back to Asurion. Throughout the whole process Asurion was very courteous and helpful. I am very happy with their great customer service and so glad we purchased this protection plan. It only cost me $19 to receive a new phone - What a bargain! The new phone works great. I'm a happy camper! Thank you Asurion!

    My experience was at first a little rocky because I faxed all my documents to Asurion and then I was told that the case was denied because the device was still in use, which was untrue because it was stolen. So I resubmitted another claim and faxed the documents again and then I was Told the next day that the fax was never received when I had proof that I had faxed the documents. The agent on the phone told me to take a picture and send it via email and so I did and after I did that the claim wrapped up quickly. Once they receive my affidavit they sent it for information then it's resolved and they sent it again for another piece of information. Then it gets submitted and then go back to another reason for denial. No one reads their notes. The info is not linked with AT&T.     Had to replace phone two separate times and had to pay a deductible for both REFURBISHED phones. They do not send you a new phone. The deductible was $225 for each phone and neither were working fine from the start. The first phone had a battery that couldn’t hold a charge and the second could not connect with cellular data. If you look online, you can get a refurbished phone for about the same as the deductible. We’re currently sending back the second phone and praying the third works.

    Let me just say that I filed a claim and the claim was approved 10/24/17 and they told me to wait 5-10 business days. Ok so now we are on January 11, 2018 and NO CHECK. I been calling every single time, I keep asking for a check and they always tell me, "We are reissuing a check. Just give it time". TIME. I already waited 2 months going on 3 months. When the supervisor called me he told me that I was misinformed and I would be getting another replacement phone. I do not know how many times I will need to return the phone before I am reimbursed.     Nice try with a "great" review being sent on for public view at ConsumerAffairs.com while the "not great" reviews go the internal customer service route and kept from public view. That is a very pathetic, though common, business practice. So this is my review, "very dissatisfied with the experience". This was so cumbersome, customer service calls where questions could not be answered, multiple emails about the turning off the "find my phone" app, or Asurion acted like they would take my first born child. Asurion did not give me the needed information as the phone had already been replaced with an iPhone 8. Multiple calls, multiple back and forth emails.     If I could rate this company no stars, I would. I called and paid $150 to get a new phone because mine was stolen. I had repeated my address THREE times over the phone for shipment. He said it was all set and I would get it the next day which I did not receive it the next day. I called UPS Monday when I still hadn't received my phone because I understood that nobody is open on Sunday to send out packages.

    They told me that Asurion put in the wrong address after I verified it. When I called Asurion, and told a DIFFERENT man the situation, and verified my address again, he said they had the right address in the system, leaving me confused. I had to repeat myself a couple more times for him to realize that the address was indeed put in wrong. Everything was all set, or so I thought. I called again the next day, 1/9/18, the day I was supposed to receive the phone and when I asked the lady (she helped me out, she seemed to be the only person that knew how to do her job) she told me the second guys had also put in the wrong address, so now I have to wait another day when I have clients from work to talk to, bills to pay with personal numbers on my iPhone iCloud, and much more.

    I had to buy a different phone because I had to wait a lot longer for my phone to come in due to the fact that people don't know how to do their job. I will not order from this company again. I will switch my phone insurance to Apple so I don't have this issue if I ever need a new phone again. I feel if I'm paying almost $200 for a refurbished phone, I should have it on time, and people should be doing their job. I was supposed to receive my phone on 1/6/18.

    Well maybe Asurion company is a good company if it’s about insurance and warranty in the US! But if its overseas to much work and hassle! Very disappointed to them!!! I called the customer service and filed a claims for the iPads of my kids and they said everything all good. I just need to wait 30-60 days for the check. Gave them all the information and the protection plan number.

    After 3 weeks my husband said to follow up because I didn’t receive any confirmation in my email. The representative that I talked to he gave me a reference number. After 3 weeks I called to verify. Another customer service told me that they need to redo it again the claim so I said, "What if I just waited for too long and I’m just waiting for nothing!" The customer service said my email address is wrong that’s why they can’t contact me through email and confirmation. After that she filed another claimed and I thought all good already this is what happened again. They want a copy a diagnostic invoice to a local service center Apple Store.

    I told them I will just send the item to them. Will be easier for me the post office but they said they can’t do that. Is it's overseas. They want me to go to a local service center just to have a proof and even I told them it's 2 hours away from our place and too much traffic to drive in Seoul Korea or they want a letter from Commanding officer and a phone number and address to verify. Without that they will not approve my claim to them! I ask if I could just bring to other service center closer to our place and they said no! And because of that they are unable to approve my claim! Very disappointed! Purchased a lot of protection plan to them and this is the first time I claimed and now I know too much work. It’s like I don’t want anymore my other protection plan. I am deciding to just cancel it since this how they handled it my claims to them!!!

    I had to call TEN times to get this solved all because the online system was not working properly.     12/05 - Submitted claim for lost iPhone online and was told I would have my replacement iPhone within 1-3 business days... that didn’t happen. 12/11 - Called Asurion. Spoke to Kyle, he was worthless so I was transferred to Sandy and I was told my claim had been closed, but yet no replacement iPhone was sent out, received, or in transit. So I Had to refile claim. Then I was told that no replacement black iPhones 7 were available. They only had them in Red, so I made a compromise and agreed to the Red one and was told it would be sent out immediately and should be on my door stow in 1-3 business days... that was never followed thru with either...

    12/18 - Called to get tracking number on red iPhone, but again, was told that no phone had been sent and wait time for replacement would be 7 weeks... so after a long discussion and being put on hold for hours at a time, was finally instructed to purchase new iPhone at ATT store and she assured me that the reimbursement check (minus the deductible) would be sent out immediately and I should receive check within 10 business days. So I purchased a new phone... but check was never sent or received. 12/18 - Received an email that my replacement phone had been shipped instead of the replace funds to reimburse me for having to buy a new iPhone... Called in and was instructed to call FedEx, cancels shipment and once it was received back to Asurion, that a check would be sent out Immediately... so I called and canceled shipment, but again.... nothing was ever followed thru with on Asurion side.

    12/27 - Had to call again to see why I had not received my money they promised me, and guess what... no check was sent. A month after I filed my claim, I was out of pocket my premiums for over a year, was out of pocket the money to purchase myself a new phone, spent hours calling and on hold to ATT and Asurion trying to resolve my own claim, and now have been charge twice for my deductible. ATT took $168 from my account for my deductible, and Asurion took $168 off my reimbursement check for deductible. Basically costing me over $800 in cash, and eat. $200 of my time doing their job for them... This is an absolute JOKE!!!! Customer Service = **. Follow Thru = **. Issue handled in a timely fashion = Not even close. Overall experience = wish I had never heard of Asurion as they could not follow thru with contractual agreements... I’m a start looking for my lawyer’s phone number.

    I had gotten a new Samsung Galaxy S8 for my boyfriend, who works in a lumber yard covered in gravel. We had the phone in a popular case that had a holster. The phone popped out of the holster and fell on the gravel covered ground less than a month later. I was so glad I had Asurion coverage on this phone (retailed for over $800). All I had to do was pay $149 deductible to get a like new replacement. The replacement was overnighted, and he was back up and running again less than 24 hrs after making the claim. The only hard part about it, was downloading the required affidavit. So nothing really hard about the process at all. I have Asurion on all the phones on my account right now.
