Awesome customer service! I was reluctant in calling because thought they are just going to tell me "sorry your insurance can't help ya". A new phone was sent to me in a timely manner and I was happy! And the follow-up call to make sure I was happy afterwards the reason I recommend this to all.

I admit I sent an insured post office box with tracking to the incorrect P.O. box for phone repair, but they refuse to help me find it. All they say is, "it was sent to a warehouse." It had a return address and forms inside with the phone saying it was sent for repair. I am filing a police report for stolen merchandise.

My phone had broke and was not working at all. I got a new phone within 24 hours and was back and running in minutes after receiving my new phone. I am very pleased with the insurance. I have had to file a claim for my granddaughter's phone in the past as well and we have had very good results with both claims.

I have read the glowing reports about how quickly Asurion replaces damaged phones and agree with that part of their service. However, dealing with customer service proved to be a rude and upsetting experience. This company needs to do callbacks if that is what is necessary to complete a simple request for a return label. I very rarely have to resort to giving a bad review but this is necessary. Do not rely on any service beyond a simple one.

I have used Walmart's Asurion insurance for years now, and until recently their response had been fairly quick in sending an e-gift card for purchase price of a damaged phone. However since early 2017 they have slowed down dramatically claiming, we randomly select phones for review examination which may take up to 5 business days, end quote. Their insurance has slowed down dramatically and isn't nearly as dependable as it once was. As it turns out friends have been seeing this same issue.

I opened a claim to replace a cracked screen, and found out I had to get the whole phone replaced. I was afraid that the process might be confusing and time-consuming. It was the exact opposite. Very easy, super fast delivery. Very pleased overall. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

I had a tablet and phone replaced. Both came within a day of the claim and are working great! There are no issues with either device sent. Will definitely be keeping the insurance. And purchasing for future devices. It was easy to submit the claim. The process was quick and easy.

The process was simple and I had my replacement phone within 24 hours. In this day and age being without your mobile device for an extended time is painful. Well worth the cost of the insurance. Would highly recommend you have this service to cover your equipment. Peace of mind is what counts.

I had to replace my son's phone and it couldn't of been easier to do and it came at 7am the next day. I was doing on the computer at somewhere around 9:30 at night and the phone was at my house at 7am the very next morning. I still had to pay $150. But with all considered how much new phones cost all in all worth it.

The customer service representative that assisted me when I called was superb. Because I could not get the text code from my phone because it had been damaged, I couldn't complete the process to transfer data to the phone. She was able to help me and transfer me to a great customer service representative at Apple that solved the issue. Great experience!

Why in the world do I pay $11.xx per month for insurance on my BRAND NEW Galaxy Note 8 and THEN have to pay a $200 deductible when my son cracks my screen only to receive a REFURBISHED phone that doesn't even come with a factory charger? This is a rip off. I've seen friends pay their deductibles ($99) for a Note 5 (recently) and they receive a BRAND NEW device? They pay LESS and get brand new equipment? I had my phone for 30 days when my son broke it, but I've paid for Asurion coverage for EVERY phone we have had on our VZW plan for the last 10+ years. This is garbage coverage from a garbage company. Way to drive prices up (coverage and deductibles) and drive down quality of service. I'll be taking my business elsewhere!

I really liked the new sending back package! It really came in handy. It was better than the return box because the label said FedEx but it had to be sent through UPS. It was such a hassle, the last time I had to send a phone back. But I was really satisfied this time.

Called because of a cracked screen, and the phone was replaced immediately! Great service. The only objection I have is that you pay so much money for a refurbished phone. Being penalized because of a refurbished phone happens when you want to upgrade your phone to a new phone when they come out.

My phone screen was broken. Since it wasn't covered under my insurance to be fixed, I had to file a claim to get another phone. Filing was easy. Customer service was super helpful. Paid my deductible and got my replacement phone delivered the next day. Having this service definitely helped. I would recommend them to everyone.

I received my replacement phone the day after I made a claim. Their service was fantastic, totally professional and I would recommend them without reservation. I was extremely surprised at how easy it was. I am very glad that my phone was insured by Asurion!! Their insurance policy was worth every penny that I paid for it. My mobile device was physically damaged and based on her plan they needed to cover me. They sent a refurbished device that had battery problems and was unusually slow. When I contacted them and complained, they replaced it with another refurbished device with other problems. I have sent this one back and they have not responded in a long time. Every time I need to call and inquire; otherwise, they don’t seem to care. I have complained to them on Twitter, but that has not made my situation better. During the time they hold on to my device, they would not provide a loan device, so I have to find a loan device until they decide to and how to solve my problem.

After phone was destroyed by an accident it was replaced quickly and all features restored without a lot of trouble. When my iPhone wouldn’t back up so that I could load my replacement, Apple had no solution and Asurion was totally unwilling to discuss grace period while I tried to transfer everything by hand. That’s not insurance, that’s strong-arming. I am totally disgusted with the lack of customer service, while every day they Dunn me for the old phone.

Have paid for Asurion insurance for years. Recently broke my phone, filed a claim to be told they're out of stock of Samsung S8+. Back order at 10+ days. When you pay for insurance monthly you expect to have your phone replaced in 2 business days like the company says. I asked for a similar phone to compensate. They refused! I asked to downgrade since I work in a hospital and need constant contact with other nurses. They refused. This service we pay for is a joke!

Was pleased with the speed of having the phone replaced. The instructions to do so were easy to find and follow. Once the phone arrived the instructions were clear on what to do with the damaged phone and steps to take for backing up data. A return envelope was provided for the damaged phone.

On Sunday, I broke my screen. The agent at Asurion told me my ONLY option was to have a new phone sent to me, arriving on Tuesday. (She did not mention it is a REFURBISHED phone they send out). I BEGGED her for options and she said there were none. Then I heard, "Of course Asurion will pay for your screen to be fixed, no problem, just gotta go to 'You break we fix' in Tempe AZ." I went there and had it fixed, Of course now Asurion, who I've been paying for YEARS will not reimburse. SOOO Frustrating dealing with them. CRAP customer service. I am stopping my insurance NOW. How the hell can they have a good BBB rating when half the reviews are super-negative? They must pay BBB! THAT'S where my money is going! LOL. Oh corporations. I just want to throttle them.

I was treated very well and had my replacement phone within a couple of days. The phone had fallen out of my pocket while riding a bike. When I found it, it had been run over by another vehicle. I returned the damaged phone and got instructions on how to proceed.

I got a refurbished replacement which is not working well and tends to overheat. I contact Asurion regarding the issue and the representative was professional and courteous and understood the issue and offered to replace the phone without making me feel like I had to plead my case over and over - excellent customer service! I was thoroughly impressed with the whole process. The local Verizon store had told me I could make a claim but it would not be covered as I had not reported the loss timely so my expectations were pretty low. You exceed them. The process was easy, the forms were easy to fill out, I did not have to search high and low for information and the replacement phone arrived quickly and when promised. I would highly recommend you.

Your replacement came in a timely manner. My only complaint is I feel your deductible is too high. Your only option is to replace the phone. A minor repair might be all that is needed but you do not offer that option. An option for minor repairs with a much less deductible could be offered.

An absolutely amazing experience. My phone was shipped to me overnight. With detailed instructions Inside the Box on how to send back my old phone. And extremely easy and stress-free experience. I can't believe I have not used this service before absolutely amazing. My refurbished phone works better than new. I swear the phone is faster and the battery last twice as long as my original equipment phone. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family to use this service. I have used Asurion for many years. I've always been impressed with their quick response to claims. I've read all the good reviews. Yes, you get a phone very quickly. But do you really know what you're getting? My recent experience occurred when two claims were filed within one calendar year for broken phone screens. Teenager owned phone... The reason? We have insurance. Not surprisingly, Asurion canceled my insurance on this phone for the remaining 12 month period. Understandable. But now I have a problem with the battery. So I do my research and find I have to go to the Apple store to have the battery replaced. Two hour drive to do this and find out that the battery in my "new" phone is not an Apple battery. In fact, 90%, yes 90% OF THIS PHONE IS NOT EVEN APPLE PRODUCT!!! They do tell you that they are refurbished parts up front. So you think, of course, refurbished APPLE parts. Not so.
This company has kept my APPLE phone (and probably 1,000s more daily) that I sent in and sent me a replacement that came from God only knows where. The encasement was not even an APPLE product, as verified by the APPLE store! I would have been much better off paying to have the screen replaced. They stole my APPLE phone and replaced it with a phony. So before you get excited about getting your NEW phone, please know you can probably buy a comparable or better phone at Dollar General to what they send. I am looking into any action I can take against this fraudulent company.

I dropped my phone and shattered the screen. The service experience that I had with Asurion was excellent. The replacement phone was sent promptly and the entire process was easy. The price to replace the phone, however, seemed extremely expensive - considering that this is "insurance" after all. I suppose 20% of the purchase price is better than having to pay 100% to replace it, but it was still a shock to me that the price was so high.

Dropped the phone on a stone floor Wednesday night. Wouldn't work anymore! Took it to my service provider Thursday morning and a team member helped me contact Asurion. Had a new phone Friday night. Thanks for the timely response to my claim. The phone is great and works very well. No problems. Only problem I see is the deductible is a little high. Since we pay monthly for this coverage maybe the deductible should be somewhat less like around $75 to $95. The claim was easy, the product came in as promised, the staff was helpful.

Best thing you can do is get insurance on all your cell phones. On a plan with 5 phones, am up to 4 being replaced so far! Fast shipping. Only 1 day without the phone! Totally great investment for the future! Wouldn't do it any other way. Son had his phone destroyed when he left it on a car bumper and car drove away. Found it in pieces in the road and Asurion replaced it!

Filed a claim with Asurion and indicated to the representative that, in the past, our family has received defective, refurbished phones. I asked if the replacement telephone would be a new one and the representative (Shayna) replied that it would be. My daughter received the phone from Asurion. It did not work. When she called Asurion to set up service and to explain the difficulty with the device, the woman at the other end hung up on my daughter. When my daughter called Asurion back, she received a message that the Asurion was closed. This is dishonest behavior and certainly not worth the monthly fee that I pay for several of our phones.

I submitted my claim around a month ago. Then shortly after receiving my replacement iPhone X, the speaker headset stopped working. Currently, I can only hear from the regular speaker and Bluetooth connected devices. Should I take my phone to an Apple store for assistance? Asurion made it the whole process very easy. I was able to do it all online and had my replacement phone the next day, even after filing the claim at 7pm! It was also very simple to put my old phone in a mailer and drop it off. I definitely recommend this company!

I received professional services from your staff during phone technical service/support in disconnecting my damaged phone and routing it back to Asurion. The staff provided a lot of time in walking through certain steps in finding my old phone and turning it off so the billing process would end.

Called Asurion about a lost Samsung S8 and was told the phone was on "backorder" for at least 5 days. When told that was not acceptable I was not so nicely reminded that the fine print of the contract states they can take 30 days to replace a phone, and they do not have to give you the same thing, just something similar. Doing the math on my devices the insurance is only worthwhile for the first year. I have paid more insuring older devices than they are worth after Asurion's deductible. A previous claim it took three weeks to get a working replacement phone, and it was scratched with a bad battery. Avoid these scammers.

Accidentally washed iPhone. Spoke with very rude lady who gave excuse after excuse for denying my claim. Finally said it's just denied & hung up. If Asurion would just pay the $229.60 that I still owe AT&T on the phone, I would be happy. Would be even better if Asurion would pay the sales tax for a new iPhone on the next plan. I really miss my iPhone. Have had this insurance for many years, but can only prove last 2 years thru bills from AT&T.

Talked to a representative and they explained the procedure for replacement and return and I received the replacement as they told me and I returned the damaged product as instructed and I had absolutely no problems. I would highly recommend this company and insurance to anyone, they were great. I had no problems and my replacement item works wonderfully.

I had a shattered camera and figured I wouldn't get my replacement phone for about a week. I got it the next day, which made me happy and surprised. When I was sold this insurance plan I was told if my phone screen cracked I would be able to get a same day screen replacement through this company. I went to Verizon and tried to set it up and they said, "Go to their website and they will make an appt within a day or two and repair your screen right there with you!" This is all a lie! Asurion doesn't offer any same day repairs in my entire state! I know this cause I sat and went through zip codes all over this state N, S, E and W myself and with a customer service rep and it checks within max of 60 miles of each zip code entered. My only option is to file a claim, wait for shipping items, pay $29 to ship it and then wait a minimum of 3 days before it is shipped back to me! I did not sign up for that!
The only reason I purchased the plan was for the same day repairs and they're not even offered anywhere in my state yet the stores here continue to sell the plan as if it is offered. I am going back to Verizon tomorrow and asking for a complete refund for all months I have paid into a plan that is completely misleading and providing false information. I have never used any of their services until attempting to file this claim and will be expecting a complete refund! Buyers beware if this is your reason for purchasing check that it is actually offered before you believe all the so-called options!

My wife's Samsung S8's screen cracked. I was hoping initially that there would be location that could do a same-day repair. Unfortunately there were no places to take it to within 100 miles. The only options were to mail in the phone, or to replace the whole phone. My wife could not be without her phone for too long, so we opted to replace the phone for $149. We made the claim late Thursday night, and we received the phone via FedEx the very next morning around 10:00 a.m. I was amazed. Thankfully, we were able to use the SmartSwitch App, which made transferring data and settings a snap. Mailing back the old phone was very easy as well because they sent a prepaid envelope with the new phone. If there had just been a nearby place to do the screen repair, I probably would have rated the service as 5 Stars instead of 4.

This was my first experience with a claim to Asurion. I dropped the phone and the screen cracked. I called and a friendly young woman explained the process and the replacement phone arrived the next day. The only negative is that there was not an Asurion-approved phone repair business in the Plant City area that could have simply replaced the cracked screen, so the process cost more than I had anticipated. But in the end, I'm happy for a new phone.

It was probably in the "fine print" and I failed to notice. Still happy with my new phone. My phone stolen while at my local mall. Asurion was great at handling my claim and getting me an identical new phone. I was impressed with how fast the whole process was, and how quickly I had my new phone in hand. I started my online claim on Thursday Afternoon, Thursday evening I had heard back and completed the next step, by Friday afternoon my new phone was in my hand.

Great service and easy. My only concern was my intention originally was to fix the screen by an authorized dealer in Tampa. I found it frustrating that there was no dealer to fix the screen here in the Tampa market. I was made to feel that Asurion wanted me to spend the deductible for a new phone instead of the 29$ for a new screen.

I received my replacement phone quickly and the instructions were easy to follow other replacing the SIM card, but I have terrible reception now and my phone is always searching for reception and the battery is constantly dying. Also the phone buttons and side buttons were extremely dirty. My phone also closes out of apps randomly.

A few months ago, I had my phone replaced due to a cracked screen. The website at Asurion was difficult to use. The staff at Verizon even helped me and they had trouble. They tried to call & I called multiple times and had difficulty. Finally, my son called for me (the phone is in his wife's name). He finally got a person on the phone & was persistent. They finally sent my replacement phone, which arrived quickly. I got everything moved over from my old phone to my new phone. I thought everything was fine until I had the opportunity to take some pictures. The camera won't focus! I have missed memories from several family events because my pics are so blurry! I have stopped trying to take pictures. I am assuming that I got a refurbished phone. I am very dissatisfied since I paid a premium every month for insurance and had to pay a $200 deductible for a phone that I cannot take any pictures with.

I had my TV all of a sudden just stop working. Nothing wrong with it, just stopped working. It took forever for them to get my address correct so I could make sure it sent properly. This was November. I waited for a response from Asurion and didn’t hear anything. What they tried to do was send me a gift card to Walmart to cover the warranty. I told them no, I wanted the check. It is now the end of March and I have yet to receive my refund from Asurion. I am beyond mad that they keep telling me to give it more time, and they keep “reissuing” a check, but it just happens to never end up in my mailbox. This is the worst company ever.

The first time I attempted to take a photo, the phone didn't take a photo. There is NO FLASHLIGHT! Also there is no voicemail alert. The replacement phone doesn't provide me with the functions my other replacement phones and my original did. I am quite disappointed. I pay for the insurance and do not feel the replacement phone meets replacement criteria. I gave no stars to the rating as the replacement phone cost money to replace it again and I am not interested in paying another fee.

The service to replace the iPhone was great, quick and easy to use. However, the price over time for the service is quite pricey and you have to pay a fee to replace the phone. Monthly insurance + fee = Pricey. The amount I paid for monthly insurance for the time I had the lost phone more than paid for the lost phone. Then to have to pay a fee on top for replacement!

My phone took a swim unexpectedly. Asurion sent a new phone immediately. Unfortunately, the replacement phone had issues with a Security Update. I thought I was going to have to argue with them the second time I had to call about the problem but they said it was a repeat problem and sent another phone which I received two days later. No issues with that replacement. The people were polite, professional and quick to address and solve my issues without a lot of fuss or frustration. The Verizon store gave me few details and I was distressed that I needed my tablet replaced within 10 days of my vacation. Asurion asked for $100 deductible which I had to borrow until payday before I could complete the claim. Then I learned the tablet I had was discontinued but was assured I would love the upgrade. Somewhat technologically challenged, the last thing I wanted to do on vacation was to learn to use a new tablet but what choice did I have. My newly arrived tablet is WONDERFUL. My aging eyes and hands love the larger size and I am delighted with the added features. That deductible was an investment that quadrupled itself. And the pictures are amazing!

I phoned regarding my screen broken iPhone 6s plus and they said we do not have it and offered reimbursed. Of course none can live without phone so I went and looked around for a plan and phone, by the time I arranged a plan and phone, I phoned back and here is the surprise that no it is now available in stock and we cannot reimburse!!! What I am supposed to do with my current phone and plan? None answered, what am supposed to do with the extra phone you will send? None answered. Then they say, "Oh in the terms you should pay the fees to lock your claim," then why I was not told that in the phone call? "Nope because it is in the terms!!" Very misleading and manipulative. We purchased an extended warranty on our LG refrigerator from Home Depot - $2,600 refrigerator $150 warranty -- the refrigerator and freezer stopped working 3 weeks before the 3 year warranty expired. All good so far! Then we placed the call for service. We were assigned to a repair company and told they would call to schedule. We finally called them and their first available appointment was 1 week after our refrigerator/freezer stopped! When the technician finally arrived he basically said yep, it was broken - and that it was probably a freon leak - but his company didn't do sealed systems. (He came ONE WEEK AFTER our refrigerator died on March 3rd).
This was a Friday -- he said he couldn't file a report until Monday morning. After much discussion he finally said that he could, and would file a report electronically and send an email so we could get another company to repair the unit. The 2nd technician couldn't come until Friday - one week later (this after many phone calls and emails by us, the owner).
The technician called Friday morning and said he would be here between 3 and 6 p.m. -- I said, "Thank you and I sure hope you can fix it." He said, "We wouldn't be able to fix it today, We're just diagnosing." I told him about the first technician (I would have assumed Asurion would have passed along the WRITTEN information from the first tech - but of course that would assume they have some consideration for your clients). The 2nd technician then said, "Well then why didn't THEY fix it." I told him they told me they don't work on sealed systems.
He said nothing! Except "We'll be there between 3 and 6. He did come a little after 3 -- looked at the refrigerator, looked at the serial number, looked at the back of the refrigerator and said he no longer has a contract with LG! I had no idea what that meant. As he was leaving I asked if he was going to fix the refrigerator and he said, again, he no longer had a contract with LG, and sometimes Asurion was very slow to get parts to him. He left! And here we are 2 weeks without a refrigerator and freezer and NO CLUE what's next.
We lost hundreds of dollars of food -- spent over $100 on ice so we could have some storage the first week -- then, when we realized we were not going to get a repair in a timely manner and get our refrigerator fixed -- we rented a refrigerator -- another $100+ (SO FAR). At this point it is obvious that purchasing the warranty was a HUGE mistake! Both in $$ and in frustration. I wrote basically the same thing as above to Asurion. This was their response: "Thank you for contacting us. I apologize for any inconvenience. At Bay Appliance was unable to do the repair and we have set you up with a new service center. They will need to diagnose the issue first and if parts need to be ordered, they will schedule to come out for a second appointment.If you have any additional questions or concerns, please visit www.homedepot.com/protect."

Krissie the online tech was a tremendous help in regards to directing me on how to turn off "find my iPhone" in the iCloud app. The only "complaint" I have is the following morning I received a email stating that my claim needed to be completed in order for it to be processed as I needed to turn off the find my phone tab. I am so glad I had Asurion insurance on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3. It fell out of my pocket while snowmobiling one evening and was run over repeatedly by other sleds on the trail. One call to Asurion and I had a new Not e8 on the way. Yes... a Note 8. Since the Note 3 was an older model they didn't have a black Note 3 available as a replacement so they offered me a Note 5 or Note 8 as a replacement. "I'll take a black Note 8 please"... It was EXTREMELY difficult to get the shipping address changed from the BILLING address to the address where the PHONE resides. AND to get the shipping NAME changed to the phone user. As a result of NOT changing the NAME, delivery was DECLINED and I had to go round and round getting the proper NAME and SHIPPING ADDRESS. I'm honestly looking at these reviews and wondering if they're even real (Probably paid for). Perhaps the service is only crummy in the state of California. I have a cracked screen and so, filed a claim to schedule a tech to come out. I was promised a tech to come out that Monday the 5th (I called Sunday), I need it to be as soon as possible, as I am moving across the country in two weeks (now one) and certainly do not want to do so without a fully functioning phone. After paying the deductible, I was then told that my day wasn't available (AFTER I paid). I contacted the online support and rescheduled for that Saturday the 10th, and when I called to complain over the phone, the customer service rep said it was cancelled due to "bad weather", mind you, I live in the bay area, and from Napa to Los Angeles it was warm and sunny for the last three days (I checked).
Come Saturday, I wait, and wait, and no Tech, not even a courtesy email or call to let me know that no one was coming. I received a shallow apology from yet another customer service rep, and was given the option to pay even more money to get a replacement (because I obviously trust them so much by now). I asked for my money back and went to look for other, less tedious and nerve wracking options. To be honest, it's still hard for me to believe this isn't some sort of scam, I guess we'll see, if they ever refund my money. Seeing Asurion is still the least expensive option, I went and filed another claim to pay for the replacement. Come to find out, they don't have my phone in stock anymore, and get this, the rep doesn't know when they will get another shipment.
Her suggestion? To go to Verizon and pay for the full $700--something for a phone, then send them the receipt that they'll reimburse (wink wink). Guess I should just switch to an iPhone and get Apple care instead, I most certainly won't be paying for the insurance anymore, not worth it. Still without a phone, still moving in a week... I literally gave 2 stars, then after reading my comment, changed it to one, (I guess they did answer the phone at least).

I received a replacement tablet (Asus ZenPad 10) for the one I had accidentally broken, while charging it, without a whole lot of hassle. I just explained what happened in a concise statement, that it was knocked onto the floor in the process, damaging the screen and the charging receptacle. Thank you very much for your good service.

Paperwork was easy to fill out and upload. The device activated with no issues and was in good condition. Was not able to change address after placing claim but was an error on our end, not Asurion's. Very helpful and polite representatives when I had to call about the address.

I got a new iPhone 8 for Christmas and my V.R. broke the protection screen. I went online and ordered a new one. The next day it came and was wrong. I was traveling and a representative called to see if I received it. I told him what I received and he was great. I had a New one the very next day. Again GREAT JOB AND THANK YOU.

I put my phone in my beach bag along with my water bottle. Unfortunately, the water bottle was not closed tightly. When I reached in the bag to get my phone it was wet & I could not get it to work. Luckily, I had Asurion & my phone was replaced for $150.00 simply & quickly. I am very glad that I had Asurion and would recommend it to anyone buying a new phone.

My son lost his phone and I reported missing so I had the phone cut off and did a claim. I had to pay $50 for the replacement phone that was fine then I paid $20 more to have it next day deliver of a total of $70. I should have got my phone by March 9th. So when I called Asurion on Saturday morning and by the way I called 16 times before anyone answered the phones and this was a 10 am in the morning. For them to tell me that my phone was not sent out and that I should get it on Thursday March 15th. I called Asurion on March 12th to see if it had be mailed out and I was told that it was ready for shipment. Then when I called today March 13th they tell me that the phone is on back order and will be shipped out within 3 to 5 days. Then the guy I was talking to on the phone this morning his ID # ** said his name was Jay. I am VERY dissatisfied with the experience.

Sent wrong Sim card. Didn't work in phone. Had to go to store and BUY one because there is no company owned store near me and it was just an authorized dealer. So I had to PAY for my own sim card. BEWARE of this scam! They should be aware of what sim card is workable with what phone.

Son just got his new phone and dropped it and the screen got cracked. Asurion made it as painless as possible to get his new phone replace. I did not know how to turn off the phone locator when I returned the phone but their instruction were very good and helped me step by step on what needed to be done. Thank you!

I don't like reporting up on poor service but when it is really bad I think I am responsible to alert others on to the poor care and company policy that might adversely affect you. I got a replacement phone after dropping mine last year. It was a refurbished phone (something I didn't know) but worked ok. It started getting slower and slower. The solution per the reports I'd read said to replace the battery. I took it to the store to replace the battery at my cost and they said they could not as the phone had been tampered with and had non authorized parts in it.
I went back to the insurance company (Asurion) and was at first assured they would give me a replacement phone at no cost. It took about 2 hours of paper trails and work and 4 days to be told that because it's been a year since they sent me this faulty tampered with replacement phone, they would not honor a quality product but that I needed to pay another $150. I went through 1 customer service rep and 2 levels of supervisors with a rather uncaring and irresponsible attitude toward their product. Each person I spoke to repeated no concern for having sent me a tampered with product and simply pushed off how it was over the 1 year mark and thus not their problem anymore.
I validly paid my insurance premiums for the past 30 months and have well overpaid the price of a replacement phone and service. Sending me a lower quality product back that has been tampered with and not honoring a quality service in exchange is called "criminal exchange". I would advise anyone to stay away from these people. Their service policy appears to be how to rip off rather than be fair exchange.

We had an issue with my daughter's phone. We contacted Asurion and they sent the replacement phone overnight. It was simple and easy. Such a wonderful job. The issue was handled quickly and professionally. The agent listened, and got it shipped fast. Downtime was minimal. Sending back the old one was also very simple, no boxing and such, just a simple envelope. Use to, you would have to call or find a place for the box.

Very bad experience. Company send me 2 times very badly refurbished cell phone with lifting screen. I was without my business cellphone for 15 days with 1st replacement and now I am still waiting what going to happen second time. The people working for that company are careless not helpful at all. Ask at least 5 times to be transferred to the supervisor or manager. No chance because they are very busy to talk with not satisfied customers and none of them even call me back in 72 hours as I was promised.

#1. Took me 4 days how to even figure out where I could get my screen replaced. I wanted to bring my phone someplace immediately and get the screen fixed. Verizon store couldn't tell me where to go. Called in to Asurion. Rep couldn't tell me where a close place was. I had to give them zip codes and they would say "nope... no place there". THEY COULDN'T EVEN TELL ME WHAT THE CLOSEST LOCATION WAS! Then I finally just send my phone in... Phone comes back without the SIM card, SD card... and MY PHONE IS WIPED CLEAN!!! I ONLY WANTED MY SCREEN FIXED!!!
I email ASURION... send an email to the tech who worked on my phone... got a "sorry about that email in return". They suggested I call an Asurion rep but couldn't even give me a phone number!!! After days of complaining... they gave me $25.00. Someone has my SIM card and SD card. My information is on there someplace. I am thinking about bringing a lawsuit against them shortly.

The screen no longer recognized touch actions accurately. A phone was shipped out to my daughter overnight. Customer Service was very polite & we were very happy with the quick resolution to the problem. It was also very easy for my daughter to return her old phone in the envelope provided.

I had to drive an hour and a half away to be told to go through Apple. Apparently I had Apple Care and did not know it. It was much easier to do, so there was a communication problem. Yesterday I had to go to a Sprint store that was an hour away and on stay on hold for 30 minutes the first time, then another 30 minutes at the store for them to tell them my phone was catastrophic to get a new at an Apple store. Which btw was way better because I got my phone right there. So I take my 1 star away and give them 3. They used to be a definite 5. I hope that they get back to serving the customer, instead of their overhead.

My screen broke after my daughter was playing with it. The back camera part is broken and the phone is coming apart. The cracks are getting worse by the day. I tried to make a claim, but was told to go to an Apple or Sprint store. I did both. The Sprint store said no, and the Apple store said it would cost $385. I keep calling because I’m working 7 nights a week and the nearest place to me is an hour away in every direction. They used to send you the phone in 2 days, now they hang up on you when you try to explain your situation.
The only way they’ll honor the 2 day program is if your phone is lost or stolen. Me being the honest person I am, can’t bring myself to do that. I asked if I send my phone off can I get a loaner? The loaner is 99 dollars and non-refundable. What happened to this company? I don’t mind paying my deductible for a phone to be sent to me, but this is depressing and I feel helpless. I can only hope Asurion goes back to the customers and not to greed.

Cracked LCD screen. Went to Verizon store and I explained what happened. I was advised to send claim through website and I would receive a new phone the following day. I received my new phone the next day as promised, we took the new phone back at the Verizon store to have contacts and pictures transferred from the old phone into my new phone within 30 min.

Bought the phone coverage for Verizon phones. When I needed to execute the warranty, I found out then the grim reality that being "covered" means a hefty deductible and numerous roadblocks and hassles. First, I was told by Asurion that they (FedEx) could not deliver to my home a return envelope to send my unit for repair (a $29 deductible). However, they could send a replacement unit ($149 deductible). We get UPS, FEDEX, USPS service every day here. After going round and round, they agreed to send an envelope, which never arrived. Now they are sending another envelope.
I asked if they could just send me an electronic label and I would package and send the unit. They said they cannot send an electronic label. Sending shippers, labels, and replacements is their business, and they cannot send me a label via email? C'mon. This "warranty" is just another bogus "service" for which consumers pay and from which nothing returns. DO NOT purchase the "warranty" from your mobile carrier, unless you want blood pressure issues and no results.

It is great to get the new phone in 24 hours. Disappointed it was refurbished and not new. Especially as the insurance rates are about get a lot more expensive and a cap placed on how many claims can be made in a lifetime we deserve new phones.

Broke my phone screen and was unable to see anything or make phone calls. Contacted Asurion online, arranged for next day delivery and within about 24 hours of breaking my phone I had a new one. Step by step instructions to reactivate it. The only thing I didn't get was a transfer of my stuff like you would in the store. There were instructions but I couldn't see with my broken phone to do it.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful, but the replacement (refurbished phone) jams often and difficult to turn on and reset. In the middle of a text, it stalls. Not trustworthy. Getting it was fast like promised. Do appreciate the follow up email mails. Not sure I want to go thru the hassle again of redoing my apps.

We have had insurance on our cell phones through AT&T since 1996. We recently had two separate a claim on iPhone 6 Plus phones. We received a “new” which was reburbished. We paid a $150 deductible on the first and $225 on the second. After about 5 month the first phone will not charge. It is unusable. My daughter took it to Apple. They explained that the phone had a replacement screen that was not an Apple product and that the screen pressing on the phones components damaged the phone. They said they never cover phones from Asurion because they use after market parts and are not reliable.
I tried to speak to someone at Asurion today, it took 4 tries and I finally had to appeal to a Verizon rep to help me get through (my own carrier could not help.) The Asurion rep said the situation was not good, but he could not help me in a way that was fair. He said he would transfer me to a Senior tech. He transferred me back to AT&T. They ordered another phone (also refurbished). I discovered it was wrong 15 minutes after order was placed, I called and they were unable to cancel. Now my daughter must go without a phone for another week or more. I have already spent more than 3 hours on the phone and must begin again.
My primary thought is to make sure people are aware that Asurion deals with cheaply refurbished phones that are not covered by Apple. We do have documentation from Apple regarding the phones problem caused by the Asurion. As a side note, my other son had a similar problem with his phone and Apple replaced it for $150. He did not have Apple Care.

I have a small crack in Samsung Galaxy 8+ in the upper right corner of the screen. The crack is just on the surface. I called the company and the person I talked with his name is Chris. He said the phone is on back order and since there is none in my area. He said I could pay 199 to replace my phone. I told him I can't afford that and that. He said that he could place my name on the waiting list. I am wondering to myself why buy and pay for this service and I can't really use it.

Whole process handled online... smoothly, efficiently. I had a cracked screen on a two-year old iPad that I could have had repaired locally for $140... The replacement iPad cost about the same as a repair and there were no hassles. I have a multi-device Asurion protection account for eleven devices.

Super convenient & fast. I had my new phone in less than 24 hours. My phone also came with a charger which was cool. The only reason I did not give this a 5 star is because I had to pay $100 as a deductible for a phone that is 3/4 generations older than the new ones.

My cell phone was damaged and Asurion sent via FedEx a new one that I never received. After spending a lot of time calling to Asurion they said I have to send some documentation to them and that they would contact me when they received it but they never did. I had to call them and explain everything again. Finally, they sent a new replacement but the cell phone never worked, so I had to repeat all the process and the endless calls again. The first call to Asurion was made on Feb 13 and as of today, March 9, I still don't have a working cell phone.

I've had Asurion for countless years. I haven't has to use it till recently. My phone screen cracked on my Galaxy S8. I took it in to get fixed. Sprint gave me an Asurion loaner phone. Very out of date that will not let me use certain apps. The battery life is about 6 hours. It's been almost a week. No S8 back yet and I'm told I have to pay 105$ for my phone. So for years I've been paying 13$ a month and they say that doesn't cover the cost of a new phone or fix at no cost? I will cancel as soon as I get my phone back.

They denied my claim. Hired lawyer, want to sue them. Because I do have insurance thru Sprint, and they are not covering my lost iPhone 8 Plus 64gb, even I’m ready to pay deductible. Called to Sprint, and talked to not one, to couple supervisors, they also said: "IT NEEDS TO BE COVERED." Insurance added on March 2nd 2018, day after it was lost on somewhere Bustleton Avenue, Philadelphia PA, when we went to food market store. They denied the claim because the phone was off. I recently came from vacation and had no time to turn it on and use internet or call somebody. It was lost when it was off after seasonal standby plan. That plan holds the number on Sprint while you are on vacation. Whatever... very bad experience. Want to sue them. Never ever get this insurance. Will also report to BBB.
