    When I made the claim, they told me that the Red iPhone had been discontinued and was no longer available. We were very surprised when we got the package that it was the exactly like the phone we were replacing. The only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is because they wouldn’t complete the order until the Find My iPhone was turned off. I didn’t like doing that until I was actually replacing the phone.

    I had broken my phone and filed a claim to get it replaced. My only complaint is that only my father (the account holder) was able to file the claim. They would not let me do it so I had to wait until he wasn't busy to call. But other than that once he got around to it, it was incredibly fast and easy and they even upgraded my phone since the one that broke was out of stock! Thank you.

    The cell phone that was stolen was replaced in a very timely manner. The phone replacement wasn't the exact same phone, however, it was compatible to the one that had purchased. I would recommend having the protection plan for every phone from now on. The cost for the plan is very reasonable and is nice to know that if the phone is lost, stolen, etc. you can get a replacement right away.

    Been a customer for many years. Usually have great service, tonight was different. Called to see why my phone wasn’t getting the next day delivery, was hung up on twice and transferred to Verizon Wireless once.     First they are making excuses to not change your phone. They contacted me twice in the same day asking me for a document that was missing. I told the lady that I was waiting for it. She said I should just do it online then. She just hanged up on me. If there's another option to have your phone secured change it right now and remember when they change your phone they will send you a used phone.

    I thought all was well with my insurance transaction. At first. I had liquid damage on my phone. So that is what I reported in my insurance claim. So they send me a replacement. $225 deductible, which I expected, even though in the store they said it was only going to be $200. But that's ok! Not too much more anyways. But then, after I received my new phone, I had my old one setting on my desk. My son took out my trash from under the desk, and I am ASSUMING he accidentally knocked the phone into the trash. Because I for sure left it on the desk. But now it is missing. Since I cannot find the phone, I called and told Asurion and asked what I should do if I couldn't find it. I was hoping I wouldn't have to pay some $50 crazy fee or something. But - they said I would have to pay the FULL AMOUNT of the broken phone!!! So, basically, paying for the insurance, plus the $225 replacement fee was a total waste.

    I got a refurbished phone as a replacement. So I would have saved myself a LOT of money if I had just bought a brand new, better phone! Or... what I would recommend someone do if they have to file a claim, is to just always report it as lost, because then they don't make you return anything obviously, and there's no extra charges! (I hate to recommend not being completely honest, but I feel like I have really been screwed. So if I were to ever have a broken phone again, I seriously think I would throw it in a field and claim it as lost!) I asked if they could change the claim now and just put "lost" since it is now, but nope. She said there was literally nothing they could do. I would just be charged for a whole new phone, up to $850. Ridiculous. So frustrated and disappointed.

    I have paid premiums for phone loss or damage for many years. When my phone finally failed, they offered me a below-average refurbished POS that offered nothing my other phone had. I then had to pay a "deductible" and "agree" to their terms in order to get the replacement. Like many other people I have urgent personal and professional matters that need to be dealt with. They take full advantage of your vulnerable position to replace your device with a subpar piece of junk. I will cancel my "coverage." Not a good insurance company and will never do any business personally... and what is better, I will never allow my company, or its affiliates, to do any business with this company in ANY way.

    When setting up my appointment they said someone would call me 30 prior to arriving, NO ONE CALL! I call in and they said they couldn’t get ahold of the tech... and that they could get someone else out in about a week... I asked if there was some sort of discount I could get for taking 3 hours off of work and they pretty much told me, "Too bad, so sad."     I have been paying 8 dollars a month and if they would of told me there would be a deductible I wouldn't have got it and then when I called in to get a new phone 'cause my phone was scratched not broken 'cause it was still working they send me a new one without even telling me it's gonna cost me 100 bucks 'cause I know 100% I would have never agreed 'cause my phone was not that broken where I needed a new one but if I am paying money monthly for when ** like that happens I will use it 'cause they never told me about it costing money on top of it.

    Basically, they have no problem taking your money and telling you that they will come to your house to fix your phone when in fact they have no intention of showing up at all unless they have enough appointments in town to justify the business expense of actually delivering the product they already sold. I cracked the screen on my phone. Asurion could fix the screen for 29.99, sounded great, so I filed the claim or whatever and set up an appointment for a technician to actually come to my house and replace the screen. Technician was supposed to be here between 3 and 5, but was a no-show. No big deal, happens to anyone. I'll just call and see what happened.

    So I called around 5:30 and the explanation I get is a "I'm sorry about that, would you like to reschedule the appointment?" For some reason no one went. "Ummm, okay. Sorry doesn't really explain why I just sat at my house for two hours waiting for you." Anyways, we set another for between 1 and 3 a couple days later. Well, 2:30 comes around and we still hadn't gotten the call from the technician saying that they would be here in 30 minutes. So we call Asurion and they say their office is in St George, about 45 minutes away.

    According to them "unless we set several appointments in Cedar it wouldn't be very economical for us to drive there." Then they tell me that I can just drive down to St George and "if you call and give us a heads up then we can fix it any time." So basically these Asurion technicians have enough free time to fix my phone at any time of the day but they don't have the time to call to tell me that they aren't going to be coming to my house unlike the email reminder the day before had told me.

    So thank you to Asurion for not only wasting the 4 hours waiting for you at my house but also for the two weeks longer I had to wait to get my phone fixed when I could have driven down the street and had it done by someone else in Cedar. I see how it is economical for you take my money but unfortunately it's not very economical when you don't get to keep it for actually doing your job.

    When I had a problem with my brand new out of box Galaxy S6 they sent me a slew of broken refurbished phones all with different problems. 7 in fact. Then I decided to upgrade to S8. I was tired of the bullcrap. Well one day I fell with my S8 in my hand and shattered the screen.     My 11 year daughter was visiting me here in Idaho. She dropped her iPhone 6 and shattered the glass. We went to the local Verizon store and had us contact Asurion to have it replaced. Her phone was less than a year old. We filed the claim and it was accepted. I sent them the 149 dollar deductible. We received the phone the next day.     I need to replace my screen. I was assured this was an easy process and would only cost about $30. I did what I was supposed to do but then they told me that my only option was to replace the phone for $150 because there were no vendors in my zip code to do the work. I called them directly and they said that parts were delayed due to an issue with Asurion. I don't feel that I should have to pay 5 times the amount to replace a phone when it only needs repaired, because the company is unable to hold up their end. I bought the insurance with that expectation. I even asked if they could replace my phone for the repair cost, since they were the reason the phone could not be repaired.

    I spent over an hour on the phone speaking to untrained customer service reps who told me it is "state regulated that I pay the full deductible" for replacement. I asked to speak to a supervisor. She was no help either. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she gave me to the 'manager' who said she worked for the 'office of the CEO'. When she was unhelpful, I asked to speak to her supervisor and she proceeded to tell me that I could not speak to him because he 'didn't have a phone'. She put in an 'order for a call back' from her boss and said it could take 3 or 4 hours to hear back from him. I have yet to get a return call and I don't expect to hear from them. I am going to try to resolve this as best I can, and then I am going to return to Verizon and cancel my insurance policy with Asurion. I will find another company that trains their employees and treats their customers with more respect.

Returned TV and CPU BUT then returned TV and computer to Valrico store and immediately repurchased SAME HP computer using a $90 Walmart gift card and $71 cash at the customer service desk... two days later Asurion care plan was refunded. So I went to Walmart.com and repurchased care plan once again. Walmart more emails. They are refunding my money... no. They send HP back to me LOL with a tech statement checklist of all the things that work... LOL NO HP is broken. File a claim... No I can't. Asurion now wants the original receipt... K??? Email receipt... oh no we did not want sales receipt. We want care plan receipt. K. I send care plan receipt... no we want original receipt. What's her name and Dennis from Asurion. Tell me to go to Walmart store and get copy of receipt... nope Valrico Walmart CSM ODEMA cannot help. Walmart Corp could not help... they cannot find the receipt.

    Just how am I in possession of computer if I did not buy it from Walmart? LOL $166 HP computer + $34 Don't care plan out $194. Now they tell me I put in wrong receipt number when I registered it with Asurion. BUT I DID NOT. Lol because I bought the care plan online at walmart.com. Totally ridiculous. Last call Jason at corporate said he would fix the problem until he got my name and phone number then his computer magically stopped working. He said he would call me back... still waiting for your call Walmart. Thanks. Not buying anything from Walmart until this matter is appropriately closed. I since have bought another computer but it was not from Walmart.

    At QVC you may buy a computer with no credit check, no interest payments??? Walmart will not even give me a credit card. That is exactly why my money goes to QVC & zZounds.com. You may buy musical instrument equipment no interest... monthly payments and no credit check. I do not recommend buying anything from Walmart. Their food is full of GMOs and pesticides and other toxic chemicals. Just look around at the customers shopping at Walmart. They look just like GMO Lab rats... go ahead Google GMO lab rats pics.     After paying monthly insurance for several years and a deductible they sent us a refurbished phone after one of them was unusable. Then, that refurbished phone was again not a working phone so we sent it back only to receive yet another nonworking phone that would not even turn on. It took three phones to finally get a working phone and come to find out that the refurbished phones were not even properly put together. We had an IT guy look at it and it was missing several parts! After two months and three phones we gave up on Asurion. HOWEVER they wanted all of our phones back in order for us to get a refund and we even offered to give back their brand new phone. They seriously expected that we would start with a phone and end up without ANY, in order to get our money back. For one, this does not make sense and secondly they STEAL your phones. Don’t trust this company!

    I purchased Verizon's TOTAL COVERAGE with Asurion. Everything I received online and on paper said that I could get my screen replaced for $29. When I tried to actually use the insurance I paid $33-39 per month for, I was told that it was "subject to availability", and apparently iPhones are mostly available and not so much Samsung Galaxy S8+. So... I can't upgrade my phone without fixing the small corner screen crack. I can't replace that without just buying A WHOLE NEW PHONE FROM ASURION for $199. Beware that they will sell you coverage that MAY OR MAY NOT apply to your phone. They won't tell you that... you'll just find out when you try to use it. I'd have been better off just saving money and paying a cell phone repair place.

    I have had to get 3 replacements over the last decade from them, and in that time I have had numerous phones that I got and didn't work at all... Every time I got a replacement I had an issue... If it was a refurbished phone, it was a guarantee that I couldn't get it to work for more than a month or so. The last time that I had to go through this I ended up having a device sent to me that would not even boot up when I got it... just stayed on a blue screen. After talking with a supervisor, they stated that they would send out a new phone altogether and due to the number of issues I have had with the refurbished phone both of the times I needed the service they would notate on the account that if ever I needed another replacement they would ensure it was new the first time.

    They utterly lied. They not only did not leave any such note on the account, but flat out refused to do so even though they could see the number of issues I had with the refurbished phones in the past. With my job I work off of my phone, I literally use it all day and to use GPS for my job... Going days without a working phone is pretty much a disaster and could easily result in my being fired for not producing any results/work. I will never patronize them again due to their poor service, and the fact that they outright lied to me to keep the money flowing...

    I had dropped my phone and the screen shattered. I called Asurion because I had my insurance from them. It was easy and a phone was on the way soon after. I received the phone and tried to set it up and it was in French. I could only change the phone over to Spanish and Italian. I was pretty disappointed with that and called again about the issue.     This company is full of liars and people unwilling to help. I bought a TV at Walmart that had a service plan with this company. The TV had issues and a repair company came out to try to fix it. They could not fix it or even get the parts. The repair company sent the information to this company which denied ever receiving it. Then days later they gave me information saying they had contact the repair company a week prior. They told me it was being fixed and the repair company denied this due to them not being able to even get the parts. This continued for two weeks. Then they told me I was getting a replacement TV, which all of the TVs they offered were terrible. Called customer service and they said someone will contact me to try to give me a cash payment instead. Never happened. They then shipped a new TV to an old address to which they wanted to contact UPS to change the address.

    Upon contacting UPS the shipper or Asurion had placed restrictions on customers doing this. So, I called customer service again for the 4th day in a row and they are "escalating" it to the department that is responsible for this. This department never calls back despite being told they will (happened 3 plus times now). I was told they open at 8 am, but it is also unknown if it's 8 am EST, CST, MST, PST... They have no idea. Also, They have no number, contact, or way to forward you to them if you were to even guess the right time zone. The regular customer service people are clueless. It's as if you were sending a letter to Santa, they have no idea where it actually goes.

    I have called this company multiple times a day after receiving emails that contradict the very things they told me. Here is the current status with this; TV is being delivered to the wrong address across the country despite being told before they shipped it. They never called me back from the escalated claim or looked at it to offer me a cash settlement. They have not contacted UPS and promised to have it sent to the right place when these mysterious people who they don't have contact information for do it or call me. If you can avoid doing business with this company, I would recommend it. They lie constantly, each customer service rep tells a different story. They give you no means to resolve issues. They will try to put as much burden on you as possible because they do not want to deal with it.

    I had purchased a Samsung hi tech washer/dryer from Home Depot in South Brunswick New Jersey less than 2 years ago with an 5 year extended - which is offered by them through Asurion. On March 22nd 2018 the inner gasket started to leak and I filed for the repair. It is April 9th today and I have no clue as to why even the part is still not shipped? This part is freely available online and Asurion wants me to buy it at my cost or wait till their vendors get it. they do not want to accept the fact that their vendors do not carry it and it needs to be outsourced.

    Separately they had ordered my repair to North Korean owned company who was closed for 2 weeks and they had no clue about it. This is complete negligence, fleecing business in the name of extended warranty and con game. Home Depot always deals with such cheap and non-reliable vendors. What is the point of getting extended warranty if the items cannot be replaced repair in timely manner. On top of it Asurion as the solution Asurion offered to cancel my warranty plan, Seriously!!! This is like daytime highway robbery. May I get any help!

    I recently relocated and called Verizon that I had done so. Two weeks later I had accidentally dropped my phone and requested for a replacement. They sent me to Asurion and the representative I spoke to confirmed my address, I corrected them since there were no unit number out twice. They said that I should get my phone the next day. 3 days later to my frustration I contacted Asurion and asked to where about my phone was. They tracked down UPS only to tell me they were not able to deliver the package because they did not have the unit number.

    They put the UPS on the line and one of the things they said was "We've been trying to contact you!" and my answer was "How the hell are you to contact me when the phone is in the box that you are delivering to me?"     When purchasing this insurance in the store I was told that the replacement cost was 149$, but upon replacing the phone it went to 225$ (I was also told it would have been 120$ if I had the insurance longer). Asurion sent me to AT&T, AT&T sent me to Asurion, both said they were sorry I was quoted wrong but there was nothing they would do. I purchased the insurance under false pretenses based on the information given to me by an AT&T representative. This is not only bad business, but it's offensive to waste a customer's time transferring them back and forth for hours.

    To my surprise an AT&T representative, on the phone, stated had I paid 3$ more a month for my insurance it would've been 120$ to replace the phone. Although AT&T themselves state they would never quote a replacement cost, 2 out of 3 of the representatives did. It's deceiving to be told one price and then to be charged another, and have no recourse except to cancel the insurance and write a complaint.

    My smartphone battery had swollen and broken the back off of the phone. Asurion replaced the phone with a similar model quickly and without any hassles. The deductible was far lower than purchasing a new phone would have been. There were notices printed on the return package saying to remove the battery before returning the phone, so I did just that; only afterwards did I notice a note saying to leave the battery in if it was of the non-removable type!

    I have spoken to two reps and then a Manager on this Issue of my phone not being able to be fix or replaced at this time due to not having any in stock. Not even a S9+. They told me that the Deductible is $199 and that it will take from 2 to three weeks to get a replacement device. Only my Screen has broke and most functions are not able to be performed. And because of my phone is not able to make or receive calls I'm just at a loss at this time till they are able to find a Phone for me. I have a Verizon Note 8 phone and they said that they have none to offer to me. I can't believe this since this is a phone that is more than 8 months old.

    The tone and service of the Reps were not good at all how they were talking to me and giving me the run around and not caring that I'm out of a phone, also she suggested to me that I should just buy another device, Wow really. I can't believe how they came out of her mouth. These devices cost a whole lot of money and I cannot afford to do this. I have children to feed and I don't have a phone. This is bull crap that they pull on us. They take our money and then laugh at us. This service is not Service at all. It's a total rip off and they get away with it. I'm very upset at this outcome. No phone to use in the meantime and LOL to you customer... Once I get that refurbished replacement I'm going to cancel the insurance at once.
