I was expecting to replace my Android device that I was learning to use, loaded with numerous apps and fits in my pocket. Only iPads were available, now I have to learn a new operating system, download all those apps again and it doesn't fit in my pocket. Otherwise, support staff was very quick and helpful.

I am very pleased with the service, To be able to go online was very easy. The premiums are reasonable. But the deductible was way too high, $200. I feel like a reasonable price is $100 -150. BUT I would pay it again, because I liked the service and being able to do this online. Then the speed, in which I received my replacement phone. Without the insurance, I would not have been able to buy a replacement a replacement phone. Thank you so very much for helping me!

I have always been very pleased with Asurion customer service (ie. Fixing a screen, phone replacement due to lost/stolen/warranty manufacturer defect). However, my most recent Claim (black screen on my S8) Asurion sent me a refurbished phone and it really upsets me that I am given a refurb as a replacement for my brand new S8. I would really like a "new" phone to replace my new phone that had warranty issues as I haven't had much luck with refurbs previously. Very happy with timely arrival!

My grandson had his iPhone stolen/taken at the mall. I called Verizon right away and they in turn contacted me with Asurion, since I had insurance on his phone. They sent me a form to fill out online and send back to them. Within 24 hours, my grandson had a new iPhone in his hands! That was the fastest and easiest experience of an insurance transaction I have ever encountered. I would recommend everyone to buy Asurion.

Once I figured out how to talk directly to a person the whole process went very smoothly. The tech help was wonderful. I put off getting a new phone even though I had paid for the insurance because I thought it would be difficult. I am not very tech savvy but they were so helpful!

This insurance company stated that my phone was covered for cracked cell phone screen and when I notified them about my cracked screen, they said that I am not covered in my area. I contact Corporate office and they were not helpful. They told me that I have to pay 195.00 for a new phone! False advertising, not reliable when needed and very disappointed with misleading information.

They were very responsive in letting in getting a replacement for a damaged phone. They also informed me that the phone insurance deductible was lower than I originally thought. They were honest to tell me about I paid the deductible. Filing the claim was simple.

I was very happy with my experience. This company is different than the other insurance and warranty companies I have worked with. They are FAR better. The replacement process was extremely easy and the customer service was terrific. After replacing my product they even followed up to make sure I was satisfied. I have truly never experienced this from a company in this line of business. Fantastic job.

I had recently received an upgrade from VZW, and I loved it for performance etc. My Pixel 2XL was, indeed, the best phone I ever had. It fell and the screen broke. Sent in a claim and THE NEXT DAY, got not only a new screen, but a new phone! Thank you Asurion, for prompt and courteous service. I will recommend you to everyone!

Everything was handled efficiently and promptly. I would recommend all of my friends to use your insurance. The phone that was first sent wasn’t working. We had some technical issues. I was very satisfied with the speed they shipped my replacement and the quality of the phone they sent back. What I was not impressed with was the price of the deductible. I pay a premium every month on a phone and have paid well over the $200 in premiums. Why is the deductible so expensive. Phone fell out of Otterbox clip 2 days later and broke again. I will just have to deal with it. Cannot afford to pay deductible again. That would be $400 plus my bill for the month. I work every day but I am not rich.

Very timely and professional. Call up and explained them my situation and they guided me to their website to file the proper papers to make my claim. I followed my claim on the internet and it arrived in a timely fashion and I took it to my wireless provider and they took care of the rest.

We had a screen repair on my son’s phone that ended up not working after the repair. A supervisor took over my case and we were extremely satisfied with how he handled the issue and how quickly he replaced the defective phone. I forgot his name but he was very helpful and easy to work with.

My daughter lost her phone at the top of a Sea World ride - it fell 100 feet and shattered on the ground. After a phone call, I received a replacement phone a day later. What amazing service. The Asurion staff were very helpful in answering all of our questions and concerns. We used our carrier to help set up the phone but the instructions we received would have worked equally well.

I called about a cracked screen and my phone was replaced the next day. I was very satisfied about the quick service, just wish I could have gotten the tiny crack repaired instead of replacing the whole phone. But all in all it was a fast transaction and I'm happy I have insurance.

My phone came quickly and I wasn't given the third degree for filing a claim. The new phone works great. I was charged exactly what I had planned to be charged. They made the whole process very easy. I would recommend using them to anyone that needs insurance of their iphone and does not want to be stuck without a phone in the mean time.

Purchased insurance from them and was given a claim form. Called to see if they reported the right phone stolen and they instead reported my phone stolen instead of my spouses. When I call they always say they can't give any info but now I am stuck without both phones working and still paying the bill on both phones from Cricket.

So far so good. Identical phone delivered in a couple of days. Easy to get back online. We'll see how long this reconditioned phone lasts. We have had problems in the past with the replacement phones not lasting very long. But they were all replaced with a better version, just kind of inconvenient.

When we contacted Asurion about our stolen phone, they were courteous, efficient and helpful in getting the stolen phone shut down, getting a replacement to us very quickly and helping us get it online. I received my phone quickly. Was reactivated and ready to go quickly! My original phone screen just stopped working. I wish, given the cost of the insurance, that the copay was less. Sometimes handing out that extra money when you aren't expecting it can be hard. Perhaps the fee could be prorated for the age of the phone.

Had to pay an outrageous deductible only to be sent a defective device. After calling only 7 days after receiving my device I was told I would have to pay yet another outrageous deductible. The entire process was a hassle! I emailed corporate and received an email back telling me to call and they would handle the issue only to spend another 30 minutes on the phone and get absolutely nothing accomplished! I received not just one email but two within an hour from different representatives so apparently the communication within the company is as poor as the way they treat customers and the “refurbished” replacement devices they send out. Unfortunately my experience with Asurion was very adverse and I would not recommend the company to anyone! It’s a total waste of money paying $35 a month for total mobile protection plus an outrageous deductible only to receive a defective “refurbished” device.

Everything was just easy and quick. Everything was explained upfront. I didn’t believe in having insurance but this experience changed my view. Most of the smartphones on the market costs more than a laptop. Doesn’t make any sense not having any coverage. It was the right decision to get the coverage.

After nearly two years, my phone in near perfect condition had broken and shattered, and assuming ran over in traffic late Saturday night, beyond repair or use. I had requested for replacement within a few hours from Asurion, and by the next day/Monday, my replacement came mid afternoon, free of hassle. Blessed.

We had a phone taken from a vehicle while filling up. After suspending service we logged into the claims website. One quick claim and the phone was replaced with no hassle. This is the fastest way to replace a stolen phone bar none. This is the reason for that replacement insurance. Thank you.

Recently my daughter broke the screen on her brand new phone. I was very unsure of what my experience would be with utilizing the insurance coverage. I filed a claim online through the Asurion website, and was pleased with how easy it was to complete. The next day a phone was shipped to us overnight, which we received the following day.
When we received the phone, we had a problem extracting the SIM card from the old phone as the plastic SIM card holder broke off and was unable to be removed. I was concerned that this would alter my claim, as I had made it solely for a broken screen. I called Asurion and spoke with a representative who assured me that I would not be charged a fee for the further damage. I returned the damaged phone in the mailer provided and a few days later I received an email that my phone was received and that my claim was complete and that I would not be charged a non-return fee (or any other fee). It seems that the representative was true to their word.
The phone I received was in very good condition and appeared to be almost new. So far we have not had any problems with the replacement phone, but if we do Asurion has warranted the phone for one year so I am not too concerned. I would not hesitate to use Asurion again should something happen to this phone or to one of my other covered devices.

Recently my LG cellphone stopped coming on. I tried troubleshooting and even took it to an AT&T dealer. It was confirmed that the battery was good and there was no other physical damage to the phone. I was put in touch with Asurion (the insurance carrier) who charged $112.00 for a replacement. I'm a little upset because I didn't damage the phone, it just stopped coming on. Is that really my fault and should I have to pay to replace it? Am I paying to receive discounts?

Iphone 6s stopped working, called Asurion and they sent me a new phone. I received the new phone the next day. I did have to pay more than expected to have them replace the phone. I was expecting to pay less than $100.00, but had to pay more. Other than the fee I was satisfied with their service.

They walked us through troubleshooting first to see if there was anything we could do to fix the phone and then when there wasn’t anything we could do to fix phone, they set everything up for us to replace it. The new phone was here in just a couple of days. Setting up a new phone was super easy.

My iPhone was damaged while on vacation in Mexico. I contacted Asurion to have it replaced on a Saturday. On Monday afternoon, I had a new iPhone in hand! Can’t beat the service! You need to work on the website though. I still had to call to get my payment processed, but once done, it’s great.

I joined Verizon about a year ago and added the insurance on with my plan. About two weeks ago I cracked my screen. I called Verizon right away and they told me along with Asurion it would be $30.00 to replace the cracked screen. I filed the claim and sent in the needed forms to get the process going. After scanning everything in I had to wait 3-4 hours to get a response from the insurance company and I was approved but they kept trying to charge me $149.00 for a new device. I called again to see what the problem was since I was quoted the $30.00 to replace the screen since I didn’t need a new device and they told me to start a new claim after waiting on hold for 50 min!!!... so I did.
Well, the same thing happened the very next day! I scanned in the forms etc. and it kept saying that I had to pay $149.00 even though Verizon and the second Asurion customer service rep. That I had spoken to quoted me the $30.00. Infuriated I called Verizon and Asurion again... This time it took a total of 2.5 hours on hold because the Asurion staff couldn’t figure out what happened. After talking on the phone with them for 1 hr. And being transferred to countless reps. They told me that they ran out of screens and so I had to pay 149.00 for a new device.
Even the Verizon customer service rep could not believe that because of their mistakes I wasted hours of time and there was nothing that the insurance company could do for me (over a cracked screen). This company is a scam. I canceled my insurance today because if they can’t even replace what they are supposed to what is the point? I have never been in this situation where I paid for a service that I couldn’t get. Scam! Total scam! Terrible customer service-not because I’m upset with what they did to me but poor attitudes with lack of empathy. I want my money back honestly. I don’t know what I paid them for.

Accidentally dropped my new S8 and put a hole in the screen, so happy I had insurance on my phone! Had a minor issue with the replacement phone, but one call to customer service and they took care of it. The premium payment was cheaper than one of those "fix it" places! Would definitely recommend.

8 months ago I started the contract with Sprint, I bought a Samsung Note 8. When I made the contract, they offered me the insurance called 'ASURION' which in case of loss or replacement of the cell phone, they would charge me $200 extra. Which seems to me a barbarism, because it is not the same a "Lost" to a "Re-replacement", but I accept it. Now my phone has a broken screen, when I make the claim, they tell me that I need to wait 24 hours to process my case and when they accepted it they forced me to pay $300 before finishing the claim and the phone arrives in 7 days. Who can live in this country for 7 days without a cell phone? It is the greatest lack of respect that anyone has ever done to me. I feel stolen, lied, faked, cheated, disrespected. I will do everything in my power to show the world who you are ASURION phone insurance.

The operator was great at helping fix my problem. I recently got married and did not realize my account was still under my former last name. She was able to pull up my account and my new phone arrived the next day. I would definitely recommend using Asurion to anyone.

I sent a slightly damaged Apple handset pursuant to the terms spelled out in the contract back into the system. They sent me a new one (very quickly) no hassles, very concise next steps and process to follow on our end. I wish I would have waited a month as the deductible came down rather substantially but that's life. Great process, no hassles! Highly recommend!

Asurion scheduled my claim quickly and the representative who came fix my phone was on time and very professional. They did need to reschedule and I was informed well in advance of my appointment. I would definitely recommend Asurion! They are the best bang for your buck and I wouldn't have a phone without insuring it with Asurion.

First time I used them for my galaxy s8+ I paid the $200 deductible. I was given a new phone, headphones, charger, basically a full refurbished everything. Thanks to it being the most fragile phone ever made I unfortunately had to do it a second time and was only sent a phone and a off brand charger even though I paid the same amount.

Awesome, efficient. Very fast and friendly. Appreciate their professionalism. The tracking system worked well too. I had been hesitant to get the added insurance with my phone plan, but I am really glad that my wife talked me into it. I will continue to take the insurance for any future purchases, especially of the cell phone or technology type.

The phone replacement is fine. The charger doesn't work but I'm trying to use an old one. Could you send another charger? The phone itself is cheap... That's why it keeps breaking. I will have to get another brand next time... Not your fault. Your service is easy to use, and I thank you.

Device was damaged. Warranty replaced it fine. Thank you. On a side note, forget using FedEx in the future. They did not deliver the device overnight as guaranteed. They even wanted to delay delivery an extra 3 days because "they don't work on Saturdays". FedEx was trying t give your company a bad reputation for not delivering next day service as you paid for in shipping agreements. Your company is outstanding and I appreciate your services. The only complaint I have is I read numerous times that I had to turn off the track my iPhone setting. I did everything online and then had to call anyway for someone to tell me again that I had to turn my find my iPhone setting off. Due to that when I did everything online I thought it was complete and my phone was on its way. Well it wasn’t and I ended up not getting my new phone for a few days later than I thought (my fault), because of the whole calling in thing!

I was extremely pleased with how I went from a dropped damaged phone to a brand new one so quick. Honestly the only thing I wish wasn’t an issue was the deductible which was high. Other than that I had perfect service from beginning to end and have no complaints.

This was the easiest transaction I’ve ever done. It was simple, went smoothly, and very fast. We had our phone overnight with no downtime at all. Phone fell off the counter and was unable to get it to power up. Contacted Asurion and new phone was at the house the next day. Fast -simple and affordable. Great customer service. My phone had a broken screen that was unrepairable. Filing a claim with Asurion was very easy and fast!! I filed my claim late on a Wednesday night and I had my phone by Thursday afternoon!! I simply placed my broken phone in the return package and dropped it in the mailbox. :)

The process to handle my claim was very easy. Many of the auto population fields were helpful. Having a new phone up and running by the next day was amazing. I would recommend Asurion to everyone who has a smartphone. It is definitely better to have some form of insurance than to have none at all.

I chat with an agent and update my information because I got a return envelope and I never was supposed to return anything because they were one lost and one stolen and they told me: "NO PROBLEM. Recently one of my devices got dropped and the entire screen shattered. I have always had phone insurance but never had to use it. I filled out the simple online form with Asurion. The device was ordered on Sunday and we received on Tuesday. We then returned the damaged device. Easiest thing I've ever done.

Had difficulties filing a claim online and needed assistance by phone. Customer service personnel were very responsive and made the claim process very easy. Replacement phone was received promptly. Phone itself looked brand new (not refurbished). Excellent value for the price paid on insurance premiums. I would use Asurion again for future cell phone purchases.

Relatively easy no hassle experience. Very satisfied. Received New Tablet within a day and sent old tablet back in the prepaid USPS mailer. It took a little while to be received back and confirmed, but other than that no complaints. Also the replacement price was also inexpensive and easily paid.

My phone got broke and I went to the store and they told me I would have to call Asurion. I did then they told me I would have to have a affidavit paper so I had to run back to the store and get one. Then I faxed it like I was supposed to. That was in a Fri but I didn’t get it really completed until Monday. Other than what seemed like a run around everything was ok.

The phone was bad cause it turn off when I was talking. Freeing on and off. I never experience any iPhone since the iPhone was born. The phone I sent back to Asurion was never had any issue but crack screen. I’m very disappointed with the replacement phone from Asurion. But I still keep my insurance.

I wish Verizon had explained how its insured devices would be resupplied. No one highlighted that it was handled by a third party and by mail. Once I wrapped my brain around that, the experience was relatively smooth. Asurion website couldn't verify me, though, after several tries, and this part of the process took a lot longer than it should have and required additional phone calls.

Wife dropped phone and shattered screen. I took the phone to the same Verizon store I've been going to for several years now and they guided me through the process of calling the insurance center and the insurance center promptly had my wife a new phone within 3 days and since she dropped it on a Friday and I went in to Verizon on Saturday and they had a new phone here at our house by Tuesday afternoon I was quite surprised and very satisfied. I will keep Asurion. A good investment!

They offer a service they do not even have. They offer to replace your screen when in reality they don't have that service worldwide, only selected states do. They still take your deductible make you do an appt of a window of 2 hours and you wait and wait and no one shows up past the 2 hour window. You find out there is no parts a day later and that parts can take 1 week or 1 month... When I pay monthly for the stupid service and I can't even get one service done. Horrible. Would never recommend this company to anyone and for sure would never put this garbage of insurance to a family member.

Phone contact was very easy and satisfactory to return the new phone as it was not needed. It was returned two weeks later. I have paid mobile insurance for 2.5 years. Recently I saw issues with my device. So, raised a request for replacement device which is covered under insurance with $120 (approx) deductible. Replacement device I received was a defective piece. I took it to Apple store and they said device has basic issues with touch and battery. I called Asurion multiple times, they were ready to send another device. I have asked them if there is a guarantee that the device they send will work well this time, for which, they have said 'NO, you have to again reach out to us for any issues and we will send another replacement device'.
Since I cannot keep on taking backups and setting up new device, I have asked if there is any other option. They asked me to buy a new device from Apple store and said Asurion will reimburse the cost. They asked me to send the invoice over fax. I bought the new device and faxed the invoice. I called the customer care twice (1st call - within 10 mins, 2nd call after one day of faxing) to check if they received it. They said it will take some time. Now I reached out to them after 1 week. They said my invoice is not received and they are asking me to fax it again. They said fax is not guaranteed and sometimes it might not reach them. They don't have any email option. I have been behind this issue for more than 45 days now. I have wasted more than 10 hours of my time and still issue is not resolved. Pathetic experience! I will never ever take insurance again with Asurion. Only thing I'm hoping for is for them to resolve this one issue for the last time.

Horrible service. They made me want to cancel my contract with Sprint altogether. I got my phone stolen on May 8th. Today is the 15th and it's suppose to be next day delivery with insurance, but the phone is on back order. They never tell you that the phone you receive is not only refurbished, but also they don't guarantee the same color. They told me it would take 3-5 business days when in backorder, however after going on the website it showed 7-14 days. I spoke to a representative and she said it could take longer than 14 days, it all depends when they get in "new" phones.
Another day I called back and had someone tell me they had gotten in new phones two days prior to me calling. However it still showed backorder on the website. Not to mention when I asked if it's always like this the lady laughed and said "Oh I don't know what happened, it's probably because it's spring break." Everyone I spoke to gave me different information that was not helpful and I still haven't received my phone. My advice is if you're thinking about if insurance is worth it, not with Asurion.

I realized I lost my phone on the freeway at about 8pm. That night, I submitted the claim. The following afternoon, I had a cell phone in hand and, even though I am not a techy person, it was up and running that evening! It was a simple and very fast process. I didn't have to wait in lines at the Verizon store and I didn't have to make any phone calls to get things running. It was well worth the money I spent on the insurance!

Original service was great but... phone I received was damaged. The glass on the front was loose. After calling for a 2nd replacement was when problems started. I still do not understand why they wouldn’t replace phone until they had a signed affidavit. Issue was in getting it and uploading it. They sent it by email but I accidentally deleted it and then Wow! Try to get another, because you have to sign in with your claim #, it said affidavit was already sent, which yes it was but I needed another but it doesn’t want to send another. After speaking with rep. and many issues online they ended up faxing one which took 24 hrs to receive. I took photo of all needed and tried to upload like they asked. Nope can’t upload it either, tried from phone, home computer, business computer not able to upload again. Had to rely on fax. Took a few extra days to get a working phone just to replace the broken one they sent. But every rep I spoke to was kind and helpful.

My brother and myself have been trying for days upon days to get his claim pushed through on the phones that were stolen from his truck while he was over the road at work. Just in the past 3 days I have sent over 27 affidavits in for the devices that were stolen and each and every single time they are kicked back with the exception of one being a Note 8. The other 2 are yet another Note 8 and a iPhone S8+ all stolen on the same day and even though we have done everything that your company has requested from us along with what AT&T has asked from us they still continue to kick the remaining 2 back at us.
The one was pushed through by a representative that was able to waive the 24 hour hold time and then they tried to do a 3 hour on the 2nd Note 8 and they just ended up denying it even though what was on the paper was what THEY TOLD US TO WRITE... We just want the devices that we pay for replaced. I don't understand why they have to make everything so difficult when we have done every single thing that has been asked of us sending several papers over and over and over again. We are paying for phones that can't even be used and frankly we are tired of getting the runaround from the people at your company who have no clue what they are talking about to begin with.
Each and every one of them have told us something different and told us to do this or to do that and each time someone new tells us to do something the claim gets kicked back... We just want this crap fixed and the phone(s) mailed back out. WE are paying for them but yet we don't have the phones. I would love to speak to someone that doesn't have their heads up their butts and can actually help us once and for all. One person was able to bypass the 24 hour hold. Why can't it be done again other than the simple fact they someone doesn't want to do their job.

Broke my phone by dropping it on concrete. Was able to call and get another phone the next day, customer service was great and the phone is working great. Only problem was I couldn't get some of my contacts to transfer over since I couldn't turn my old phone on. Told I didn't have my backup going to the cloud and since I'm not real technical don't know what I did wrong. Now have it connected to the cloud, so should be fine should I have another problem.

I cracked the screen on my Pixel 2 XL. I shopped around for some repair shops and got a few quotes together. They were all worth of $300 due to the fact that the device was new and the screen is larger. For just $200 Asurion sent me a new device the very next day and I didn't have to go without my phone while it was in a repair shop. Absolutely wonderful service.

My phone fell off of the desk and the screen went black. Went online and ordered a replacement phone. Was great and got the phone the next day. Thanks for all of what you do to keep the cell phone user happy. My only complaint would be about losing current contacts, notes, and voice recordings. I'm a secretary on a board and is easier for me to record the minutes so I lost the last one and had to improvise what was said at the meeting.

The recovery of my phone actually started at the Verizon store in Pearland, Tx. The staff directed in the appropriate use of my insurance recovery method. After jumping through the hoops required for submitting a laptop for repair (filling out an affidavit, finding a two year old receipt from Apple online, ID, etc), I shipped the computer back to them and they sent it back within a week which was great, or so I thought... Turns out, the keyboard was not repaired and most of the keys at the bottom of the keyboard were still sticking. After finally getting someone on the phone, they said they would send another box so I could send it back. When it didn't arrive after a week, I called back. They apologized and said they would get a box right out for me again. After another week passed with no box, I took the computer to a local repair shop and had it fixed (after all, this is my daughter's school computer).
I called Asurion back and asked them to refund the $89 charge and they refused because I hadn't given them a chance to repair it properly even though the lad admitted that she saw that I had called in two times and requested another repair both times. Scam artists is all I can say about this company, a good company would have admitted the mistake and made it right by refunding the $89.

This may be excellent insurance for those who seek it and are willing to pay for it. I noticed a charge on my credit card account from Asurion Wireless Insurance for $199.00. I thought that was interesting because I never applied for insurance from this company. If I need insurance or anything else for that matter, I will ask for it. I will never pay for something that was provided without my consent. I have no idea how this charge was incurred. The one thing I do know is that I will dispute this charge with my credit card company and will never pay it.

The process was simple enough however replacing my three month Note 8 phone which cost me 960.00 dollars with a used ZTE Blade Spark that I could buy for 69.99 and charging a 225.00 deductible is no bargain. I am still making payments on original phone. The phone was found and they want me to send it to them. What a joke. Asurion won't release my phone so I can activate it, the phone they sent me was defective so I already returned it a month ago and I still have no phone. They want to send me a Samsung Galaxy S3 but I am not having it. I am not paying 225.00 for a phone I can buy for 49.99 and send them my 960.00 Note 8 phone. I am going to cancel my insurance and may have to change carrier. I give this company a rating of a SCAM artist.

My damaged handset was replaced quickly as promised without a hassle. It got me back in the game, like it was beforehand. Customer service was courteous, shipping was prompt, and return envelopes for the damaged equipment were provided. The transaction was smooth. Worked online to get phone repaired. Broken screen and hot battery when charging. Very easy to do. And they are replacing the while phone instead of repairing old one. Great response! My tablet fell from my backpack and cracked the screen. It was an old Samsung Tab S2. When I submitted to have it replaced, they did not have the exact model, but they upgraded me to the newer tab S3. I love this service because I would have been out 600 for a new tablet.

Had an issue with my son's phone. Started the process online and I noticed I had made a mistake. I was able to call Asurion and get the error corrected. They were able to ship my phone and I had it in 2 days. (It occurred over a weekend so 2 days is understandable.)

My daughter is in college and had her phone stolen. She is 19 hours away so being able to communicate with her is vital. Once I filed the information with Asurion the phone was shipped and they were very helpful in getting her back up and going. I was riding my bicycle and had my phone in my back pocket and it fell out. I heard the phone hit the ground in the street, I stopped my bike and as I got off a truck ran over my phone crushing it beyond recognition. Asurion quickly replaced my iPhone after I got it wet kayaking in Florida. Replacing it was a simple process -- much easier than I expected. And I got full coverage, except for the deductible of $89. I've carried insurance on my phones for years without using it, but I'm glad I had it this time. I recommend it.

I lost my iPhone, and when I realized it immediately went back to where Iast remembered having it. The phone was no longer in the place I thought it was. I completed the Asurion online claim form, which did not take very long, and my replacement phone was delivered the very next day. I was very happy that the claim process was very easy, and I was able to be up and running and connected again in a very short period of time. I didn't have to wait days to get my phone back. As a matter of fact, my exact phone was not available, so I ended up with an upgraded phone as well.

Called for help and immediately was told what I needed to do and that I would get a replacement cell phone sent to me the next day. I returned my broken phone. Very pleased not to be inconvenienced too long. I then went to Verizon and they helped me set it up.

We have continued to insure our Verizon cell phones with Asurion for several years due to the outstanding service we have received. When needed. For example, we recently entered a claim with the Asurion website in the midafternoon we realized the phone was lost. The replacement phone arrived at our door the next day at 11:00 am ready for business.

It took me much longer to return the phone because I was having troubles transferring information.Then I was worried that I was gonna pay some Some sort of a penalty Or they were gonna charge me for keeping my device But I was wrong. Replacement phone that was also marked as refurbished was trash.Probably spent 2+ hours with tech support to no avail. Thankfully Asurion replaced that phone with a newer model that seems to work just fine. After spending $200 on premiums, I was still required to pay a $150 deductible for a phone that Verizon says is worth $120 toward a trade-in. Somehow that math is hard to understand. I believe the deductible should be on a sliding scale, based on what a working phone is worth on trade-in/sale.

Everything was great, the only thing wrong is, I've had my tablet over a week and can't use it. The SIM card never arrived with it. I called and a representative said I'd get it Monday but it's now Wed and no SIM... so I cannot activate my tablet. The representative was very nice. I'm hoping it comes today. Service of replacing my tablet was awesome. I got it right away. Now if I can get it activated it would be even better.

The replacement of my phone came quickly. I was able to use Tech coach through Verizon to activate it and was able to mail the old phone back to Asurion quickly. There were no problems. The new phone is working good and Asurion was quick to respond to my needs and replace the old phone.

My phone was stolen on Saturday so put in an insurance claim but couldn't receive it till Monday because Sunday was a holiday but by Monday afternoon I had my new phone in my hand with everything needed to activate it. I had a seamless process having my phone replaced. I called and started my claim there. I was then lead to continue the process and online. I went online finished the necessary steps to get a new phone that I could hear out of clearly. I was amazed at the ease of the process and I thank Asurion for that.

Overall the customer service has been very good, my biggest complaint is the amount of phone that had to be sent out to get a working one. I was sent out a total of 3 phones before I received a fully functioning one. I recommend a better testing or quality control protocols to help eliminate some of this in the future.

My son's phone died after he dropped if about 1000 even with a case and screen protector. I called and they sent him a new phone the next morning! It was so easy. I just followed the instructions and mailed back his old phone at no cost to me. I only had to pay our deductible and the representative was super nice and helpful. I have paid premiums for the three phones that are under my Verizon contract for almost two years. A couple of months ago my son's phone was damaged and I was given the Asurion contact information by Verizon. I was assured by the customer service representative that I spoke with that my son would be receiving a brand new iPhone 6s. Two weeks ago the home button on the phone failed and we took it to the Apple Store to see what happened and if it could be fixed. The Apple rep informed me that not only the home button was not working, but the display screen was defective as well. I then learned that the phone was refurbished which was completely the opposite of what I was told by Asurion.
When I called Asurion I was told that ALL replacement phones are refurbished which is not only different from what I was originally told but it is also mentioned on their website that brand new phones are provided. The representative not only said there was nothing she could do but basically told me to suck it up and that it was MY fault I didn't read the fine print. Basically I have paid hundreds of dollars for insurance as well as a $149 deductible to get a POS refurbished iPhone that basically broke two months after receiving it. I have since cancelled my insurance and have informed Verizon that when my contract is up in June I will be taking my business elsewhere.

The customer service was friendly and helpful but there was a delay in communication or information being updated. I didn't mind explaining the situation again, but I'm pretty sure there was a decent amount of time in between the calls. The experience was good overall and I received my phone replacement when stated. It was simple to return my other device with the packaging included. I received an email letting me know that it had arrived at its destination.
