    Very dissatisfied with replacement phone quality. Company should be more clear that you receive a previously owned phone. My replacement is faulty and now I have to get another replacement which is also pre owned. Not a pleasing task to switch everything from one phone to another twice in one week! After paying monthly and a replacement fee total of 250 I would have not got this insurance as the cost would have got me a new phone. Will not recommend Asurion or use again!

    Daughter cracked her screen riding her bicycle to dance when it fell out of her pocket and broke the screen landing in a mud puddle. Replacement phone sent right away. Great service. No issues.     Asurion was very helpful in getting me a new phone to me. The only issue I had was I had to go without a phone for 4 days due to what I am guessing is a issue with the delivery company and them not making deliveries on the weekends. When I filed my claim the operator said I should get it the next day, which I did not, when I checked the tracking on it it showed it would be delivered on Saturday, which it was not. It was not until Monday when I received my replacement phone.

    Sent phone in for repair of cracked screen. After obtaining two local quotes for repair from qualified techs, phone was fully functional when it was sent. Company then claimed phone screen wasn't repairable and said replacement was only option at a much higher deductible and profit to them. Company then removed my SIM card from the phone so it could not be reactivated and returned phone. Couldn't explain why they stole the SIM, refused to replace it and insisted phone replacement was only option. Verizon can not explain why they stole the SIM either.

    On October 1 I contacted Asurion via chat that my phone never arrived. The agent that assisted never said anything about me having to give them a call to complete my claim for them to resend me another phone. I received an email that I can resume my claim online the same day and again the next day. I clicked on the link in the email and submitted the requested information only for it to take me to my original claim in early September.

    A week goes by and I made a follow-up call only to be told by the agent that answered that I was supposed to call back in a very condescending tone and why didn't I call back? That's why I didn't get the phone. Leticia not once took ownership of the issue. It was either my fault or someone else's because she had nothing to do with it. She was getting defensive and when I asked her to confirm the address they had on file she abruptly transferred me to some department that wasn't able to assist me and they had to transfer me back to another agent. I asked this next agent if there was a department I could voice my complaint to or if there's someone I can speak with and oddly enough she told me they didn't have anyone I could speak to. In addition, Asurion doesn't have an email address. You can send a complaint to either only at PO BOX 411605 Kansas, MO 64141.

    Buyer beware. I have been paying for this insurance for years now to the tune of $9/month, not including the other 2 phones that I am also paying $9/month. I just called to see about getting my screen fixed, they told me that "I am not eligible"... "Not eligible?" I said. Nope they can only send me a replacement phone at the cost of $150! Not the $50 screen repair. They said that there is probably not a screen and/or technician in my area. Really??? I live 22 miles outside of NYC and they don't have one or both of those things. Very disappointing. Of course I can't go to an Apple authorizing dealer and have them fix it. Really very annoying and the staff are outright rude. Will be canceling this insurance.

Unfortunately, the screen repair option does depend on the type of device, your location, the availability of technicians as well as the availability of the parts your device may need. Sometimes, for largely populated areas, there may not be enough parts or available technicians to service your device or area. Rest assured the repair program is secondary to your primary insurance and you should still have the option for a replacement. Our insurance is similar to other types of insurance in that you pay monthly as well as a deductible.     I appreciated the Asurion helpdesk forwarding me to the Apple helpdesk to assist getting my old device removed from my account. We were successful. It was removed from my account, i.e. "Find My iPhone" was turned off. However, roughly three days later I received the Asurion warning email stating I would be charged $500 for the "Find My iPhone" the feature "still active" on my returned device. I had to call Asurion and send an email confirming the issue was cleared. Please reconcile with Apple helpdesk systems, and update Asurion systems, more rapidly to preclude these type of "impending charges" warning auto-emails being sent to customers who are NOT at risk and have taken the appropriates steps to comply with Asurion return policies.

    First, it took more than 24 hours to get the FIRST replacement which worked okay for a day. Then the screen jumped from place to place by itself and was unusable. The SECOND phone came within 24 hours of the SECOND claim but I shouldn't have needed a second phone. Quality control on the refurbished phones is awful! Not only did I have to wait for a second replacement but the set-up process takes hours and I shouldn't have had to do it twice!

    Have paid $429 in monthly premiums, and an additional $89 for the deductible. My IP6 broke, I filed a claim. They sent me a refurbished one, that in 40 minutes of being on was too hot to even hold. I called. They made it right, sending me out a brand new IP6S. Upon activating it, it drops calls and randomly closes and locks. Thinking it is a software issue, I call Verizon. Troubleshoot, won't fix, with her still on the line, we head to Asurion. Who transfers both of us back to Verizon Tech. To summarize here, at the end of a one hour and 47 minute call, I am told by the Asurion rep that since "none of the phones they send me are acceptable to me" I can go buy a 6S or 7 at full retail, fax them my receipt, and they will issue me a refund check.

    This seems like a win win for me as I will then have an ACTUAL new out of the box iPhone with and APPLE one year warranty. Heading to do that this weekend... although I will say after reading these reviews, I am a little concerned Asurion will have some loophole or something why they never send me my refund. Mind you full retail is $549 for the 7... And currently they already have $518 of mine thru my premiums and deductible! I was even told today by the Asurion rep, as long as they get the receipt, and the 6S back they sent me, they don't care if the 7 is never activated! I would really like some written concrete information that ALL they require is the 6S they sent me returned and my receipt... for me to get the refund BEFORE I spend $549 I don't really have to spend! I also promise to write another review with five stars when I do actually have a fully functioning phone and my refund!

    I am livid! I filed a claim on a Samsung S6 after experiencing device malfunction for quite some time. I received a replace that was as crappy as the one that it was supposed to replace. I called and spoke with customer service and expressed my concern. The device is pretty much doing the same as the old phone. The customer service rep Breshay stated that they can get me another S6 out, when it should be obvious that, the S6 sucks! I asked to speak with a manager and she transferred me to Tracy with the Care Solutions Team.

    Tracy basically stated that there was not any other recourse, but to send the same crappy phone out. She was not at all concerned with my issues. Mind you, I have been a great, loyal, paying customer with AT&T and Asurion for many, many years. I have never filed a claim before and I have paid over $300 in insurance for this phone to date. Plus I paid a little over $100 for this crappy replacement. Does brand loyalty count for anything anymore??? My experience has been horrible! I digress...

    I've been trying for 2 months to get a replacement for my Samsung S8 Plus 68gb. I call every day to check if everything is fine and see if I'm going to get the phone I PAID FOR. They sent me the wrong device after I paid $260 and nothing. I'm stuck with a broken phone (I'm paying insurance for it for more than 1 year) and a wrong device.     Called to file a claim on a stolen phone. I was always told after paying insurance for the past 3 years if something happened I would receive the same exact phone. When filing the claim I was told I couldn't get the exact phone because they don't carry or have the exact color of my phone. The representatives were rude and very unhelpful, careless attitude. I paid the 200.00 anyways to get the phone they decided they could send me because I had no choice, needed a phone. It was guaranteed to be here within 24 hours I was told. When I didn't receive it, I called and was told phone was lost with UPS and I had to find out with UPS what happened to it, not them!! Called back and talked to a manager who said the phone was never shipped out!!! Finally got the phone 2 days later. They do not stand by their promises or guarantees so beware!

    I regret ever spending any money on this sorry excuse for a company. I have had nothing but ISSUES from the start. Took me forever to file my claim for my Apple Watch. After finally getting my replacement watch, I received a different color watch than what I had, and cheaper band than what I had. “We do not guarantee color” which is absurd considering YOU ARE PAYING FOR THE WATCH!!! And now I’m stuck with a color I do not want a a cheaper band than what I had on mine. And it’s refurbished?? I pay monthly for this insurance, plus a deductible. Will be contacting the better business bureau. Sorry but if I am paying over $100 for a replacement watch, that I also am paying monthly for I should at least receive the exact same watch I have.

    I dropped my iPad which was in a hard case with keyboard and the screen cracked at the doctor's office September 5, 2018. I took it to the local Walmart warranty repair shop and they couldn't fix it, so Asurion sent me a mailer to send it to NY for repair. I mailed it out. After nearly a month of waiting, I call them and they said it was repaired and would be shipped in 2-3 days. That was on Friday September 28. On Wednesday October 3, they email me that the iPad can't be repaired. They are replacing my iPad Pro 128GB gold color with a 32GB grey color. But, they have the iPad Pro 128GB gold color I bought currently for sale at Walmart.com.

    Called for service on $5000 Bad Boy mower. 1. First call says service person will call in 2 days. There was no phone call. Called Asurion. They state an appointment was made for that same day. Problem is the company they say they are making the appointment with is not making appointments because the owner is out for 6 weeks due to medical issues. Supervisor tells me the appointments are only tentative.

    2. Asked for a supervisor to call me. I was told Asurion doesn't have ability to make outside calls. 3. After losing one day from work waiting for service to arrive, I'm told to reschedule repair appointment for tomorrow. But you've already told me appointments are tentative? Asurion says hold while I call the service center. See number 2 above. 4. After being told to stay home tomorrow for another appointment, the supervisor tells me the service center hasn't received the appointment request yet, but I'm supposed to stay home again.

    It seems the offshore outsourced call center will say anything to get you to approve of their service. After all is said and done, my mower is headed to a service center 175 miles away, in a different state. I can only hope it comes back in the next week or two so I don't have to drive 7 hours round trip to go get it. Based on the lies I've been told so far, I don't have a warm fuzzy feeling.

    I purchased an iPhone 6 for $199 at a Walmart store in Redding, CA. The rep (Mike) sold me the "RPL 2 year replacement plan for an extra $59. Before I left the store I scanned and uploaded my receipt because one of the plan benefits is "don't worry about finding your receipt, we will store it for you". When my phone broke I went into the Walmart store in Santee, CA to get it replaced. The associate couldn't locate the "stored receipt". I tried again a couple days later and no luck. I also went online to Asurion to locate my receipt and file a claim. The only options Asurion provides to locate your account is to enter your phone number and receive a text verification. My phone doesn't work so I chose the only other option to chat.

    The Asurion rep couldn't find my account or "chat is unavailable". No help. I end up buying another phone at my own expense since neither walmart nor asurion can help me. Four weeks later I try again at the Asurion website. This time chat is available. The rep located my receipt... it had been there the entire time. So I call 877-968-6391 and speak to a rep who says I must pay $29, I escalate the call and speak to Joselyn "a supervisor" who refuses to waive the fee my plan says has no deductible and also indicates I have to wait 5 days to have it shipped. I escalated the call to her manager Morgan ** who was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. Based on the horrible experience I already day I said I would take nothing less than shipping the phone overnight and waiving the $29 "service fee".

    She said, "no one here can do that for you and it's not going to happen no matter how upset you get." I asked her to escalate the call, she refused and then hung up on me. Next letters to the Asurion CEO Kevin Taweel as well as the entire board of directors will be sent to share my nightmare. This company should fire Morgan employee #**. She has no business being in the position of managing customer service. I am still in the Walmart store, my phone has not been replaced and it's no surprise Asurion is no longer servicing protection plans for Walmart. They have moved on to Allstate and it's obvious why. This will end up in small claims court!!!

    I filed a claim and send in my phone. 3 weeks later I still don't have a replacement. You have to call and be transferred 3 times and stay on hold 30 min before talking to a human. Their website is worthless it just say claim in progress. They said there is a hold up and they can't tell me what it is. And they can't transfer me to anyone that can. I have called at least 30 times. Completely ridiculous to have to wait 3 weeks for a replacement. They claim the replacement will be delivered today but who knows. By the time you buy the insurance and pay the deductible and wait forever you might as well have not even bothered. Nobody I know wants to go 3 weeks without a phone. Never again will I buy this insurance. You should not either.

    I have been fighting with this company for almost two weeks to have a reconditioned phone that they sent me less than 2 months ago replaced!!! I was sent this guaranteed (reconditioned) phone as a replacement for my son's phone which was damaged, but covered by warranty. I hesitated when they said it was reconditioned, but they guaranteed it for a full year. We had the phone less than 2 weeks and realized the battery was not holding a charge, so I called and was given the option to have a new phone sent or to have it repaired and be reimbursed.

    I brought the phone to a reputable company and he showed me the battery that was in this reconditioned phone. He told me the phone should NEVER have been sent out with that battery as it was dangerous!!! I then fought with the company to have 50.85$ cents reimbursed to me for 3 weeks!!! Now, less than 2 months later it will not charge! I call the company again, and I have to send them back the phone so they can examine it and decide whether they will send me a replacement or not (nobody works weekends, so this process is taking forever!!!) Tomorrow it will be two weeks without a phone, in this day and age it is NOT acceptable customer service!!!

    I have an iPhone 6S Plus 64GB rose gold that I have given to a 16 year old that we took in when we found him living on the street. His situation was very sad as his mother got very ill and they lost their home so she went into a homeless shelter and being 16 he was not able to go with her. I happened to run into this kid looking for handouts to survive and it just so happened that my son went to school with him.

    Long story short we took him in as our own and are not being supplemented by the state. I gave him my old phone so I was able to reach him while he was participating in school activities. He accidentally dropped his phone and cracked the screen which was insured by Asurion. It just needs a replacement screen and I don’t have the money to pay $199 for a replacement device and of course nor does this child. I don’t understand why Asurion cannot repair the screen for the $29 so I think they are ripping people off trying to everyone to fork out $199 for a replacement rather than to do the $29 repair.

    We contacted Asurion regarding a Samsung tablet that has a cracked screen. We were emailed that we can take a replacement and refurbished product, which was an RCA or Nextbook tablet. These are nowhere near comparable to a Samsung. These tablets are Black Friday special tablets; worth about $40-50. They believe our $150+ Samsung should be replaced with a REFURBISHED poor quality tablet. I'm dumbfounded by this company. Worst, when we attempt to contact them regarding this email... we get a runaround with workers who can't get our address or email correct. Terrible service, terrible customer service. I wish we had realized that Walmart protection plan was this company because they did this to us in the past with our phone. They protect you your product and then replacement with something that you would have never purchased yourself.

    Hi. I bought pixel 2 xl 128 gig from Freedom Mobile 4 months ago. There is a speaker damage in my phone and I have the insurance from Asurion. They say they don’t have the pixel 2xl 128 gig and they will provide me Samsung Galaxy S9 plus 64gig instead. My Google pixel 2 xl is 30$ per month tab and Samsung Galaxy S9 plus is 20$ per month tab. And I have 20 months left to my contract. So if go with them I am paying 10$ per month extra for Samsung Galaxy S9 plus and the total comes to 200$ for 20 months. This is not fair as I already pay 250 deductible and now I am expected to pay another 200 dollars for a different phone which I don’t even want. Their service is ridiculous and holding for half hour I got hung up then I again call them, they said, "It’s your choice you want the phone or not."

    I returned a device exactly as instructed by Asurion. I dropped it into my local curbside USPS mailbox in the self-addressed envelope provided by Asurion. Asurion has no record of the return, and the post office has no record of it being in their system. It was apparently lost/stolen within the US Postal Service. I could of brought the device into my local Sprint store for shipping, I could of used a different mailing option. Either way, I am not legally liable for following the exact instructions of Asurion. The liability is in your business model when I follow their instructions exactly. Beware using Asurion, you will be at fault if something goes wrong with their business operations.

    I've had years of good experience as far as my phone insurance is concerned. So I assumed it would carry over to appliance insurance. By the way if you buy from Home Depot or Walmart I wouldn't by the protection plan. It is Asurion. They told me it sounds like my compressor is out but sent me a technician from a company who is not certified in changing compressors. It's been 2 weeks and I'm still waiting for another company to come out, rediagnose it as a faulty compressor then order the compressor (which I was told is 2 weeks) then wait another two weeks to get an appointment.

    In total I'm out of a fridge for a month and a half. They called me saying "Hi sir I called every certified company I could to get you this Monday appointment." I took Monday off assuming Asurion wasn't lying to me, and Monday comes. The company calls to cancel the appointment. "No I'm in the middle of way," as they said 2-3 days to find another company. Just do yourself a favor and make sure your next appliance warranty isn't by Asurion or you might be stuck without a fridge or stove for months.

    Asurion did a good job and getting me a replacement phone in a very short time. The only issue I have is the price of the deductible. We pay nearly $10 a month for insurance on our phones and rarely use it. Then when we do need to use the insurance we have to pay $149 deductible.

    I have been a customer for over 6 years. I recently lost my phone at work, so I went on and order another one from Asurion. It was fast and quick but the next day someone found my phone and turned it in. So I called my provider and told them to lift the flag on my phone and they did with no problem. So I tried to get a refund for the new phone that was delivered that day. I never open the box or anything. The customer rep told me that I could not get a refund.     I accidentally damaged my iPhone and when I started a claim, initially they said, they will send me the documents I need to sign and upload, it's very easy. When I complete their requirement as per their guidance then they goes, "We need the primary account holder detail (Government ID and signature) not yours." I am in a family plan of 7 people. We all live in different directions. We barely call/text each other. We pay our bills on time and no one really bother others. If I am the person (account holder but not the primary) who is responsible for paying premium and providing all documents (signed affidavit and a government issued ID) then what is the need to go for another person's identification. We do not even live in the same state.

    The representative rudely told me that "I don't think so I can understand you ma'am" and she transferred the call to another person. And talking to another person was another loss of hope. I was not at all satisfy since I paid all the premium on time (since 2014) without any delay. Also, my phone is insured as mobile insurance (standalone) not with mobile protection pack neither multi-device protection. It really doesn't make any sense at all what they are asking for. I am not the person who writes ever but today I am feeling so pissed off.

    Unprofessional. Answered the phone laughing and couldn't get out what they were saying or listen to what I was saying. Sent my phone to the wrong state. Then when I called to correct their mistake they proceeded to get my address wrong again when I asked them to confirm that they wrote it correctly. Now trying to charge me again for their mistake.     I first tried to do a claim at the local Verizon store where I bought my phone originally (Austin Street, Forest Hills, NY). They were of little to no help and told me I could use one of their tablets to initiate/file a claim which I attempted. I got to a point in the process where the website said something like we are here to help but I had no confirmation a claim had been activated/processed or a link or button to proceed. I asked the Verizon salesperson what do I do and his response was "start over" which infuriated me.

    I went home and started again on my home computer and then called a help number and spoke to a lovely woman who told me she'd make sure my claim was going forward. (The original claim I started at the store had already been canceled) My replacement phone... (not new) arrived early the next day (fabulous!!!) The set up was incredibly easy. My only complaint is this replacement phone suffers from the same battery deficiency as the one that stopped working I was clearly not supplied with a phone that had a new battery and I find that rather upsetting!!! It only holds a charge for a few hours I once had a brand new iPhone 6S which didn't have to be charged for at least 48 hours. I knew I would get a refurbished phone but I hoped it would come with a newer battery and better battery life than an old phone for a $149 deductible and all the monthly premiums I have been paying I expected a better performing replacement device.

    Asurion used to be easy to use and navigate. This new system they have in place is awful. I used to be able to send my phone via mail to a repair center. Now I have to schedule an appointment, wait 5+ days for an appointment, ALL for them to tell me my phone is damaged and I need a new one. I KNEW THAT 5 DAYS AGO. The wait is ridiculous and this new system reflects as lazy. If I pay every month for insurance, I expect the process to be somewhat user-friendly. Asurion company makes it impossible. You need a "two step verification" to access my iPhone account/turn off iCloud. "Find my Phone" to do a repair. HOWEVER, my phone DOES NOT WORK and I cannot receive the code. Remember, phone is BROKEN. I will be opting out of insurance in the future because this process is so frustrating. Asurion is the worst.

    Was a little frustrated when the replacement phone wasn't functioning correctly so I got a second replacement. By then the original phone had been shipped back so I did miss transferring some things. But replacing the phone was seamless. I got no arguments about it. They were very helpful.

    The Asurion claims processing system is highly automated and seems to be designed for the least possible contact with their clients, which isn't the best for customer relations when things go awry. Both their online chat representatives and phone representatives are very scripted and have no real ability to go beyond that script. (They all sound very nice and professional however.)

    I have also found the Asurion Online claim system to be glitchy. (1) My provider (VERIZON) provided a online contact information linking to Asurion. It is better to go directly to the Asurion site and skip the information Verizon gives you as the systems don't seem to fully communicate. (2) Although I followed all of Asurion's online prompts, I was not provided a claim number and had to spend my time calling to get it. (3) The center for Asurion is in Tennessee which can create processing problems for individuals paying with an out of state bank card. It is possible for their online system to lead you to believe that these payments were accepted, when in fact they were not.

    The problem is that Asurion has not the tools in place to reach back out to those who have filed a claim that was left incomplete as described above. It would be beneficial for them to build into their automated process an automated email for incomplete claims to notify their customers that things were incomplete. :) Since this error is possible, perhaps it is best to pay with a credit card or check. (4) In speaking with their representatives, they could not explain why I was given an arrival date (Thursday, 09.20.2018) for my device in the online tracking system when on their end my bank had rejected the transaction. Beware that the system is glitchy and can give misinformation.

    Regarding the call system, I was once kicked out of the system and once hung up on (The line was quiet and I waited for a human but didn't get one). To me, Asurion has systemic problems that can be improved on. I would not recommend Asurion for older clients who are accustomed to better customer service and may not have the same online skills as younger generations.

    Asurion needs to develop better customer service relations. I would have given them 1 star but gave them 2 because their reps were nice... although very used to giving the scripted apologies. I dare say that their advertised phone 1-2 days later is not fully true. My claim was filed Monday, it is now Friday. They would say that the problems was with the payment. I would say that the problem is poor communication from their company; I can handle delays, but greatly dislike bad communication. As it stands, my phone should arrive Monday. Despite all of the "Inconvenience" they apologize for, they were unable even to assure me that I could get my phone Saturday.

    So this is my second time using Asurion, and the first time I used it I had no problems at all! I filed my claim paid my deductible and received my Phone the next day. So I was pretty happy about the service. Unfortunately this time had been a hassle. So I filed a claim and got to pay for my deductible on 09/14, I got a confirmation email that same day stating that my claim was complete and that they would notify me when it was out for shipment. It being a weekend I was aware that most likely it wouldn't be shipped out until the following week. So I called to confirm on Monday 09/17 and the gentlemen that I spoke with informed me that it was out for shipment that day and it would arrive on Tuesday through FedEx or UPS.

    I waited on Tuesday and around 3 pm I decided to call back and to verify, this time I spoke with a female name Andy and she right off the bat told me that there was a phone available and started telling me the features of the phone when I stopped her and told her that I was notified that my claim was already complete and I had already paid the deductible. And then she seem to be confused, and put me on hold, then she began to tell me that there was a system update and that she needed to connect me with customer solutions. While I was on hold she hung up on me. I called back and was connected with Christine and she got me connected With Britney from customer solutions, when I spoke with Britney and informed her what was going on she then informed me that again there was a system update that she would need to send in a ticket and that it would be resolved within 2-3 business days and to call back to get an update.

    So I called yesterday and I was informed that it wasn't resolved yet and the lady that I spoke to told me that it now could take longer than 2-3 business and that she cannot give me a timeframe. She gave me other choices like to go and purchase a phone from Sprint and they will reimburse me ONLY 10% and that I would not be able to get my deductible back. I told her that I would call back Friday which is today to see if it hopefully got resolved. I just want the phone that I pay insurance on and that I already paid the deductible for. I honestly don't really understand what a system update is and why can't they just send me my phone.

    I am really not satisfied with this and I hate to complain but I just feel like they are giving me the runaround and I really don't know why. I hope and I hope I get my phone soon, everyone and anyone knows how it is to not have a phone especially when I need it for work and when I have 4 kids to keep in contact with. Again I am just going to cross my fingers and really hope that I get it soon. I don't want to escalate this problem... :(

    I was paying insurance from last 10 months when I lost my phone. When I called Asurion they said, "Call your service provider. We no more provide insurance for lost or stolen devices." I was like wow. The reason why I got insurance was for lost #. Will never get insurance from Asurion.

    It is worth taking the Asurion Insurance. Customer Service agent very helpful, I can’t remember the agent name but the agent took care of me. Agent was very patience & was very concern about my defective phone. The agent explained what I needed to do when I got my new phone & what I needed to do for the return of the defective phone.     No convenient places to go for repairing a cracked screen (nearest 1 hour away). Set up an appointment for a tech to come to my office, the earliest appointment available was several days out, and I was informed 30 minutes before they were supposed to arrive that they would not be coming. When I called in to set another appointment, they gave me one 5 days out but even with so much lead time (I filed my claim 4 days ago, so over a week), they will not guarantee that they will be able to get the part to the tech for that appointment either. I am having to reschedule work meetings for their convenience and I have no idea when they will actually be able to do the repair.

    What a ripoff!!! I am a law enforcement officer in Texas. I had an AT&T phone and had the Asurion insurance on it. I had 5 months left to pay on the phone when my phone was STOLEN when I was on vacation. I contacted Asurion to file a claim and wasn't given a claim number. I then went and obtained a new account (so nobody could use my phone to charge onto my account) and waited for my new device in the mail (after submitting my stolen affidavit and ID to them). After two weeks, I tried to get my new phone and they told me it was denied because I had closed my account before they were finished and therefore my claim was denied!! So, I try to protect myself, my credit and my account and they took 4 years worth of my insurance money and simply "deny" my claim. This is LEGAL THEFT!!! I WILL NEVER USE INSURANCE AGAIN IF IT IS FROM ASURION and recommend nobody else does either!!
