    Ordered graphics card, paid, expecting delivery 5 days due to holidays. After someone waiting in all day on supposed delivery day contacted B&H only to be told there was a verification problem. It then took 48 hrs to resolve 2 emails, 1 live chat and then a phone call to be told it would be sent out now. If they had email address why when there was a problem they did not contact me? I have no clue. Do they expect their customers to be psychic? If I was to purchase anything from them again after ordering I would immediately call verification team and double check order information and dispatch. I would not trust them to deliver in a timely manner. Otherwise, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

    B&H Photo has extremely reasonable pricing. They ship everything very quickly. Everything was packaged nicely & very secure. All purchases arrived in the specified time-frame they provided. We like everything about B&H Photo including the large selection of products to meet all of our needs, the quick response to any questions we may have, the ease of every transaction, the check out on-line, and the great communication they provide on every transaction - email confirmations of orders, shipping confirmations with tracking information. We will continue to shop B&H Photo for all of our camera equipment needs. They have super-great customer service. We made several purchases on different occasions, all on-line. All purchases were very positive transactions. We did contact them regarding a few questions prior to a purchase and all questions were answered. We had no problems or issues.

    I bought my camera in a store and my experience was very good since they offer me an excellent quality of service. I contact customer service because I want to know some details of my new machine. They give good answers to all my issues about the camera I want to buy and offer me good support.     I read the camera review and looked for the best price. B&H has the best price so I decided to buy from them. I ordered my DSLR Canon T5i online. The shipping was fast and service also was nice. I really liked to do business with them. They are experts in camera and photograph matters. You can find top line cameras and cameras accessories. I always wanted a service like that. Really happy with them. I have no complaints. B&H is one of the best on photograph, better than Adorama.

    B&H Photo has the best price and provides smooth transaction. Their published pricing allowed me to make value detection without being pressured. I like the very comprehensive catalogue which I can use for future reference and new product selection. The purchase snail was complete, and allowed me to track my purchased product. Customer assistance number was visible on several of the documents. Clearly stated return policy. Photographs are detailed on most products but I would like to be able to pick several products and compare then side by side. Also, I wish they would include tutorial to type links on. Plus, the online ratings seemed incomplete to me. I wish they would have more detail upfront.

    Bought the items online Fortunately, there was not much trouble with the ordering process. It was hassle free and there was no trouble with checkout. Easy to use site. Very detailed information. Everything I wanted to know was in the site. I was able to compare different items for my assessment. The item selection is very vast without having to overwhelm one self with the variety. Checkout is also a breeze. There is nothing to dislike about B&H Photo but maybe the color of the site or add a sort of rewards system to the site so more people will be encouraged to buy.

    The products from B&H are always top quality. The order was filled perfectly and shipped in a reasonable amount of time. The internet pictures are always clear and the description is always in detail. Whatever you see on the internet is exactly what you will receive in the mail. Their return policy makes you feel comfortable ordering from this company because you know they will stand behind all of their products. I have never had a problem ordering for myself or for my son ever. Just recently ordered and bought my son-in-law equipment that he requested as a birthday present and he said everything arrived in perfect condition and was exactly what he wanted and was very happy.

I ordered a Nest outdoor cam, came in on time, however, I open the package, I noticed it is used cam, the inside Nest package has been opened.     I bought a computer lens and it was a great lens. I had a very pleasant experience. The item was shipped quickly and was just as described. I had no problems with the item that I received. It was of good quality and have no reason to dispute its authenticity. I have heard wonderful things about B&H such as the following: A friend of mine had a computer issue and talked with customer service and got replacement options. Based on their advice, he ordered a new computer that arrived the following day. The customer service person advised him what replacement software was available for OS Yosemite and loaded the latest Microsoft Office onto the computer. Thankfully he was also able to transfer all my friend's Hard Drive data to the new computer.

    This banjo should have been in parts in a manufacturer's box. I received a banjo put together. I don't know who put it together or if they have done so correctly. This banjo was a floor model. It had fingerprints on it from customers. It is missing the bridge. Without a bridge a banjo cannot be played. If it had come as it should have in a manufacturer's box, then it would have come with tools for assembly and maintenance. They did not send the tools that came with my banjo. I now have a banjo that cannot be played nor can it be properly maintained.

    I have contacted the company and they have refunded me a measly $25. It has been weeks and I have not received the replacement parts that they've promised. They refused to work with me further or help me in any way. I thought I would be learning the Banjo by now but weeks have passed. I would not recommend ordering from this company. Customer service is not one of their concerns. I'm very unhappy to have received an item that should have come into manufacturer's box but has been handled by a number of people and has missing pieces. I know this will not be resolved with the company so now I have to go out and buy a bridge and tools so that I can disassemble this product and put it back together to be sure that it's properly assembled. This is a huge inconvenience.

    The experience was good. Excellent, smooth and relatively easy ordering process. Great quality products for good prices and they have awesome daily specials and fast shipping. I've bought a camera from them and it was reasonably price. And they don't have ma tax so I saved. I bought both in store and online. The website is easy to search to find the items you are looking for and the staff in the store was very helpful and knowledgeable and was able to answer the questions I had for them. There are some rude employees, but I say that the majority are customer friendly. Also, I had received a defective product, but they make it easy to return. However, the replacement was damaged also. They need to have better shipping packaging, and they should offer protection in shipping.

They had many different cameras available and they had exactly what I wanted when I purchased my camera. Their prices are also excellent. I purchased my camera and equipment online. I did not have to go to a store and deal with parking, waiting and crowds. It was an easy shopping experience for me. The equipment arrived in good condition, the package had everything as ordered, and I received the package in the time frame promised. There is nothing that I dislike about B&H Photo.     B&H has a very nice atmosphere and I can find what I wanted. Their employees were very nice, informative and could find what I was looking for. Cashout was fast and easy. I also like the wide range of cameras and equipment they had. They has the latest camera equipment. The location and the store design was also very nice. I didn't have to drive too far to reach the store. However, the space and the messiness of store was a little bit cumbersome. Maybe a little less clutter. And maybe their company should invest in a bigger store because if you have a bigger store you can potentially add more variety and space when there are a lot of people there shopping. But generally speaking, I did not find that the experience was not pleasurable.

    I would highly recommend B&H Photo! They have an awesome selection of equipment and great customer service. My husband is the photographer and he won't go anyplace else. It's a great place for a beginner or an experienced photographer to learn and test out new products and ask questions from a staff that is qualified. The representatives there are very knowledgeable about the products they sell! We have done both home and store purchases and both are great. We have had smooth transactions. We have only used them for assistance and are consistently met with a helping attitude. The only thing that would make it better is if it were closer to our home. We have taken the train into New York City before to shop and it was a great experience!

    I purchase all my camera equipment thru B&H. Their customer service is great when buying but beware when you need something. They are not honest. I purchased a D750 Nikon at full price. I was marked down $400.00, 10 pass my 30 day return and you also got a free hand grip. They told me they could not help me as my 30 days was out by 10. Keep in mind I am looking to buy another lens over 2000.00 and just bought one for that amount and a new flash. Told me to contact Nikon. They would be the only ones to help me. Well that was an epic fail. They're a billion dollar company. They can't help me they said. B&H lied. They could have issued me a credit or refunded something. Instead they decided to lose a lifetime customer and many more because one word speaks a thousand.

    It has been at least ten years since I shopped at B&H, but it was a good experience. It carries a large variety of products. The customer service department is well versed in knowing their products and in aiding returning or prospective clients with said products. The merchandise I ordered arrived promptly and in excellent condition. I am still using it. The only thing I dislike is that no physical stores are located in my area. Products I purchased were bought either online or through customer service. I could probably spend plenty of time and money in one just wandering around looking at all the fantastic products for photographers. But my experience with B&H was exceptional.

    It was very easy to get the items that I wanted. They offered a Nikon camera on sale for a limited time and I scooped it up. It was an awesome deal that I couldn't pass up. I bought it online and it was easy to shop. The website was laid out very nice and was easy for me to navigate through. I was able to find my items and purchase them.     B&H Photo seem to be a good company to deal with for buying photo stuff from. They have a complete selection of good and even beginner photo gear. The prices for the selection of the photo gear they sell is very good, both from the end that's low price, to the middle price to the higher price photo gear!!! They have great photo gear. They have good deals and promotions on the most desired and wanted photo gear. They seem to ship their products with care and great speed, though sometimes the shipping costs are high!!! I bought my photo gear online. I am not near a retail or brick and stone outlet, however if I was near a brick and stone outlet, I probably would go to the retail location, but buying online saves me money. I don't have to pay sales tax when buying online!!!

    B&H shipped me a broken item. They knew about it because the damage was so extensive it was hard to miss. It was not due to shipping because the protective packaging was in great condition. I already waited 2 weeks for the item to arrive. Now I have to send it back and B&H doesn't want to expedite a new order or to provide some kind of service to make up for their misconduct.     B&H Photo was simple, and easy to conduct business with. Site was accurate and easy to use and made it easy to browse their product offerings. They generally have reasonable prices. They also have a wide assortment of products for many different camera categories and it can be a bit overwhelming. But the visuals and descriptions are helpful in understanding what they are and if they meet my needs.

    I received the products ordered quickly and they matched what I had expected. Everything I or my family have purchased has been online. Sadly no store near us. So far it has been good experiences. On the rare occasion something has not been right or has not worked they have been quick and efficient in making it right. Responses are generally prompt and they seem to honestly care about satisfaction.

    Good experience. Website is easy to use. I purchased the camera online (there's no store anywhere near me), and it went very smoothly. They also have a very wide variety of items, and I can even get good refurbs from them from time to time. Good prices (usually as low as if not lower than Amazon or Walmart), fast and (usually) free shipping, straightforward website, warehouse locations about 2 days from me. It would be nice if they would open up a location somewhere near me, but their website is usually sufficient. Sometimes their technical descriptions are not as detailed as I would like, but I can always check out the specs on another website anyway. When I did contact customer service, it went smoothly. The camera was exactly as described, and I saved enough to get some accessories as well.

    I went to New York City store by Union Square. I purchased a camera and other equipment. It took a while to talk to someone because the lines were long. It was way too crowded and it took a long time to get help, to pay and to wait for the item so I could leave the store. However, I found the staff to be helpful and knowledgeable. I really appreciated them. Plus, the store had lots of choices for equipment. They have many options for cameras, flashes, tripods, lens, and other photographic supplies.

    I first did research and was linked to bhphotovideo.com. They have a large selection and I liked how they have the new and used items there for you to compare. They have each item listed out by brand. Then the brand is listed out by each model. They also list out the items that have been discontinued or updates. Plus, it shows reviews. And all around great detail. Although the prices are sometimes high, there aren't many things about the site that are bad. It's easy to read and locate the items I am looking for. I looked up the lens I wanted as well as the camera brand and make that I wanted. I put it in my cart and continued to check out.

    It was a quick and simple purchase. The options of video cameras and cameras were massive. They have cameras for the exact needs you have. It is easy, informative, and an overall pleasurable experience. I would definitely consider buying from there for any camera or photo related needs. The prices are reasonable, fitting must budgets. The most important thing to me is price and they beat all of their competitors in price. Sold used equipment in person. Free and fast shipping.     I purchased a e-mount camera lens from B&H online. The website was very easy to navigate I also like that B&H Photo has very competitive prices. I did some extensive research trying to find the cheapest price. They advertised the cheapest prices I could find for the product by over $50. And B&H continued to beat all other prices, that even includes some prices of related products. The purchasing process went very smooth. One item I don't necessarily care about is that B&H's brand feels dated. I'm a graphic designer and I think they could improve on their logo and overall branding. The Red, Tan and Yellow colors are very old school.

    My shopping there was very enjoyable. I bought my camera equipment in the store. I had a very pleasant experience. My purchase was very positive. The people were very friendly and knowledgeable. The store was very clean and tidy and have plenty of the latest merchandise. I liked how organized the store was. It was a nice place to shop and the people showed you how to use the equipment before you bought it. The sales people explained everything to my satisfaction. The decor on the walls and ceiling could have been more appealing and the flooring could use some work. Their merchandise could use some work and the floors could use some cleaning.     I bought a digital camera and a nice leather case and also an extra battery for the digital camera. I purchased the items in the store but did do research online also. Very good shopping at this store. I felt the sales people were very knowledgeable. This was very helpful to me when buying this digital camera and other supplies as well. The service I felt was very good and all the staff seemed to be very hands on helping me make my decision. Walked out of store very happy with my purchase.     I researched online at their website but I purchased in the store. It is a giant and awesome store with helpful customer service and many options for purchasing equipment! There are even random candy bowls around the store. Even an excellent place for browsing future purchases. The people that work there are always friendly and exceedingly helpful!     It was quite a few years ago when they were new in the internet business. We ordered a camcorder and were quite pleased with the service we received from them. The specific things that I like about B&H Photo are the wide selection of items they have for sale, their return policy and the fact that they have an actual brick and mortar store.     I Ordered my products online and it was shipped and received quickly, as well as being correctly filled. I was able to select from several products until I found exactly what I was looking for. The product descriptions were complete and accurate. I really was impressed with the wide variety and selection of items, the user-friendly website and the ease of ordering the items I needed.     It was a seamless exchange and purchase from the B&H Photo website. Product was easy to find and the checkout process was as easy as it gets. There were multiple discounts that were available and numerous payment options. The one thing that drove to the B&H Photo website was the promotion that they were running that offered an extremely deep discount on the photo equipment that I was in the market for. The only thing that I would suggest to the web developers would be to limit the number of items that appear on each page. There was some difficulty in staying with the item I wanted when I was on a page. As I stated previously, the B&H Photo experience was done online and without any issues. The checkout process was also easy and there were multiple options to purchase the item, which I appreciated.

    It is one of a variety of photo suppliers that I use. Not just for photography supplies but for optical equipment such as binoculars.     I've had great experiences working with B&H Photo. Great selection, great prices and quick delivery. I highly recommend the company and will order from them again in the future. I love the ease of the website and finding the great selection that the store offers. They also have competitive pricing and ship really fast. I purchased the camera online but did call the store to ask questions and have them answered. The staff was great to deal with and very knowledgeable. It can be hard to navigate the Jewish holidays when you need a product quickly. I understand the limitations but it can be difficult to work around. Otherwise I have no issues with the brand.

    Great experiences each time I ordered and communicated with B&H Photo. I appreciate that B&H has great inventory and always has what I need in stock. I had a couple of occasions to call the store for further information on lenses I was considering. They were very helpful each time to help me find exactly what I needed. I received my orders quickly.

    I have also been very happy with their customer service and communication. It has always been polite and accurate. Customer service was always personable and accurate. The website was quite user-friendly, especially for a person who is an avowed non-techie. Since I do not live near the store, I have purchased several lenses and accessories from B&H through their website. When I had questions as to the right equipment for my particular camera, I called customer service and was given accurate information so I could buy the proper lenses and accessories for my specific camera.     Bhphotovideo.com is a very professional website and the complete product specifications are listed in a clear and easy to read manner. Plus, the paper catalog had a good selection and all the products my teacher recommended. There were many buying options. The organization of products listed made it easy for all of us in class to find what was needed for our assignment. The teacher had recommended and shared the catalog with us. Our teacher checked what we were ordering and we were all pleased with the result. Purchase was online and the transaction went very well. Our orders arrived with no issues and in time for the scheduled lesson. Teacher was pleased with the product. Also, our whole class really enjoyed the new equipment.

    I bought a camera and contacted customer services and it was much useful. The photo video camera DS70 was purchased and it was really good and lot of options available and it all had the good options and the benefits. This gave me immense advantage of using the camera when compared to the other places where I usually buy either online or through the marketplace that was available within my zone. The price was comparatively cheap when in the other places and stores it was more.

    My experience with B&H PHOTO was ok, but not the best. They had a lot to choose from different camera and pricing. I also enjoyed the quality of the item but the pricing was a little bit high for my liking. They are overpriced than what I typically spend on my items when ordering them online. I get them cheaper from other sites. I bought my items from B&H online. B&H Photo had good online experience. It was good and convenient. Easy online ordering and shipping options. They had track your package Option. Easy to use but it did take a lot longer to arrive than I had expected.

    I purchased a camera from the online store. I knew exactly what I wanted and my transaction was seamless. I did not experience any issues. I liked the variety and competitive pricing. I like design of the website and availability of certain products. This store can definitely compete with Best Buy and Amazon. Shopping was easy and delivery fee and speed were acceptable and I was completely satisfied with my purchase. The only thing that I dislike is the restocking fee during returns. Although I've not done any returns to the store in the past this is something that may turn me away as a customer in the future.

    We shopped around, starting in stores locally, then looked at Best Buy online and Abe's of Maine. We ended up choosing B&H. Excellent experience. The website felt trustworthy and it was easy to navigate. There was a Good inventory, I found the model I wanted with no problem. Was able to purchase the camera I wanted online after seeing the model I wanted in a store and it was at a good price. It was less expensive with B&H. Fast delivery and I also like receiving the book catalog in the mail. There were no issues and it was a good experience.

    B&H has a great selection, expert sales personnel and the best prices in NYC. A true photo superstore. They have a convenient location, best combination of price, selection and expertise. A true superstore that meets the total needs of today's professional and advanced amateurs. So this is where the pros go for all their photo, video and tech needs.

    However, they are closed on Saturdays, closes early on Fridays, closed on Jewish holidays. Plan on spending a lot of time. The lines are long to view items and a second long line to pay and checkout. But if you are in New York City the store experience is worth spending as much time as you can getting up close and personal with all the gear. If you can't, the website has an even larger selection and is easy to search and navigate. Great way of finding a competitive price.

    In a nutshell I placed an order for a CW motor for my drone with 2 sets of props for about $100. When my delivery never came I found out through UPS that my order was sent to the wrong address with the wrong name. Although it was delivered in my complex it was taken to somewhere else. Upon calling B&H to get this corrected I was told "unfortunately it's nothing we can do about it" and they suggested that I go and try to retrieve it from the address it was taken to. I live in SE DC and can easily lose my life by just knocking on someone's door. It is my belief that they have UPS go and try to retrieve the package not me.

    I wouldn't recommend B&H to no one because if you have a problem or bad or defective product they will come up with some excuse that it's your fault. Had I saw reviews on B&H beforehand I would have listened to the people and not placed an order. If I could give a negative 5 stars I would. Don't lose out like the rest of us so take our advice and get your products elsewhere at a much cheaper price PLEASE!

    Their service was very good. I was able to buy a camera and the salesperson explained best settings and other options. He was very diligent. He discussed prices and pros and cons of camera and other accessories available for purchase. He explained the different lenses and uses like close up and action shots. I even bought lenses, cleaners and tripod. The prices were reasonable in comparison to other stores. I was very happy to be there.

    There were a lot of camera and accessories available there and learned a lot about them. Their display were nice, people greeted me and were attentive. I felt welcomed. I was able to find out a lot of information on the type of camera I had chosen, the different lenses available and purpose for every lens. What I don't like though is the decoration in the store was minimal and parking outside was difficult, and the store was very packed. Wish they threw in some freebies, I did spend a lot of money. I did lend my camera to someone which broke it. I bought a new flash, but it was not working. The camera was expensive to repair, so I continue to use my camera without a flash.

    I have made a couple of purchases from B&H Photo in the past. One purchase was a camera and the other was a home theater projector. Both were purchased online and were positive experiences. I have had excellent transactions with them and been thoroughly happy with the items I purchased. They arrived in a timely manner and all was as expected. Sometimes they have the best prices on items. They also have a wide range of items to choose from and also mail a physical catalog to your home. I feel completely safe purchasing items from B&H Photo. While I enjoy the physical catalog I don't like getting them as much as they send them.

    Let me tell you about B&H in New York and Steiner customer service warranty. THERE ISN'T ANY. I bought 3 sets of Steiner P830 binoculars from them in March last year, two for my mates and the one for me of course. Mine has recently failed, (condensation in one optical lens). B&H flatly refuse to help or repair the binoculars that have a 10yr warranty. I believe, they're trying to pass the problem on to Steiner themselves. Steiner says it's their product distributors obligation, and have insisted B&H are liable for the repair or replacement. Meanwhile little old me is screwed and now ignored by Both B&H and Steiner. I suggest you buy your products from a supplier that will honor the warranty promised on your item. That certainly won't be B&H in New York!! Please post all over Facebook and spread the word as I have.

    I like everything about B&H. I especially like to visit the store. The staff are always knowledgeable and there's always something new to learn about equipment I wasn't aware of or educated about. My husband and I were looking for a strong tripod. B&H had a nice variety and a variety of prices. It was easy to shop there. Both in store and online there's so many temptations to buy more. It's both bad and good. I like the choices of equipment but can barely afford to buy more than what I come in for.

    The prices are pretty high sometimes and I can't always afford to purchase even the cheapest version of what I want there. The staff is usually trying to get you to buy more or buy higher than what you can afford. I understand it's a business but can't afford to buy anything more than what I am there for. I've bought from in store and online. They were both pleasant experiences. I did not have any issues or questions, and I didn't need to contact customer service but I wouldn't be afraid to do so if I had to.

    The first time I used this company was over a year ago. The experience was very good. I noticed a lot of great deals and a wide variety of assorted cameras and reasonably priced equipment. The specific camera that I was looking for was on sale, so that was a good day. What I like about this company is the great deals, excellent service, and wide variety of assorted goods for the consumer. The different colors and aspects of the products that they sell make it a very good place to shop at for cameras.

    Although, the experience was very good, it did have some drawbacks. For instance, the overall variety wasn't as good as some other well-known sellers. The cost was also slightly higher than most other places that I previously shopped at for cameras and equipment. However, I don't think these negatives nearly affect my overall impression of B&H in the slightest for they are one of my favorite places to shop for cameras and equipment. I bought my camera and its equipment online. The only negative experience I can think of when I purchased my camera was deciding if I should choose a less-known seller for a lower price. I ended up sticking with B&H after contacting customer service and asking them if they could price match (which they wouldn't) but said I shouldn't trust a 3rd party seller.

    They are the foremost photographic company and I never had a problem with them. The in store employees are knowledgeable and very helpful. Their suggestions are always spot on and the prices are outstanding. They have the best equipment and the largest selection in a store or online. I purchased in store in NYC and I never had to contact customer service with a complaint regarding any of the products I purchased or contemplated purchasing. This is the main outlet I would use to purchase all my photographic equipment. I would shop at B&H anytime I need new photographic equipment and would happily recommend them in store and online.

    I bought from B&H Galaxy S7 Edge on October 2, 2016. It worked fine for a couple of months and then it started to freeze every once and a while. Finally after 6 months it stopped working at all. While using the phone it got a very small crack in the upper right corner of the screen. I asked B&H to use my warranty to fix the phone and this is the answer I got: "Unfortunately once there is outer damage to the device it automatically voids the warranty." I had the phone checked in a Samsung Lab and their diagnostic was there is a malfunction in the CPU. Nevertheless B&H won't fix the phone because of the minor crack and thus $640 gone to waste. I was very disappointed by the service I got from B&H and I would not recommend anybody to buy from them.

    I enjoy purchasing products from B&H Photo, they send out catalogs often and I always stay up to date with what cameras are out. Usually people throw away old catalogs, but I have kept the last three issues. I've even circled things in the catalog like a kid does for Christmas. I bought a camera remote and my payment went through relatively quick. The shipping said it was would 7-12 days but arrived in 6 days! I've had personal questions in the past that I wanted to verify with the company pertaining to shipments if I wouldn't be in the area for a few days. Their customer service is excellent and helpful. I've never had complications that they can't help me with, they are accommodating and kind! The overall company makes me genuinely happy. I love the company! I wish I made more money so I could support the company even more than I do currently.

    I bought paper online and I would purchase it again. Clear and easy to understand website. I didn't expect it to be that easy but I was pleasantly surprised.     Their online shopping experience is among the best out there! Everything is very easy to navigate and they are always running new promotions and offers. They had the best price available. The biggest two things I like by far is the free shipping and no sales tax in my state! Those two things alone make a pretty huge difference.     Before you decide to order parts from this site please keep in mind that their "in stock" items can drop their status even after you've placed your order. After ordering parts for myself it wasn't until a week after that I found out on my own that my item had suddenly been discontinued. My refund wasn't even processed yet till I called to inquire about it. On top of that they had placed a "hold" on my account which they conveniently state "that it's still in process" for an entire week. Horrible customer satisfaction for not even relaying to the consumer that there's been changes to their order. A week? Even Target has better response time. Honestly their "free shipping" isn't even worth it.

    I shopped online and it was a good experience. Excellent shopping experience. I purchased an Apple Watch and could not find one with the band I wanted. The rep was able to help me find a different one and then add the correct band. Free expedited shipping. Good customer service via email and chat. I was questioning pricing on various items both new and used and was able to get accurate responses. I like that they offer used equipment as well as new. It gives more options for the consumer to choose from. Add-ons and freebies are nice as well.     Lots of great equipment available to purchase. A little more costly than your typical store but overall a great experience. Bought in store a Hasselblad camera, a tripod, a color correction monitor and cases for traveling with my equipment. Most of the employees let you be on your own and don't hassle too much. Hate high pressure. I like the atmosphere and the automated assembly lines. I like you can get hands on with what you may or may not end up purchasing. Its location is also great for me because I can take the train right there in under 10 minutes. However, I don't like that they are closed on Saturday but I understand the owner's religious background. It would be nice if they had non-Jewish employees available to work on Saturday, a big shopping day.

    I purchased a camera online and it worked great once I received the item. It was sent well packed and there were no issues with it at all. It was delivered quickly and on time. I had no trouble viewing the tracking information and thought they did a great job at processing my order in a timely manner.     They seem to have no frills service, however they do have an excellent price on most items. For the most part prices can't be beat. I made several purchases online and I have made a few purchases over the phone. They had the best prices of anyone else on the internet and for the most part I was satisfied. The order was placed, they delivered the correct items, in a very reasonable amount of time. They are constant and very dependable. They also have an incredibly vast selection of product. I like to go through their listings every month, to find the latest and greatest selection of current products. However, they are a bit hurried on phone orders. I imagine that is because of extremely high volume and very low prices. Do your research elsewhere. Just order and pay quickly so as not to annoy them much more.

    So I purchase a camera, charge was completed and paid extra 35 dollars for next day shipping and didn't receive the product on the next day neither the tracking number. I tried to contact them with no result 'cause they were closed until 1 pm on Friday. Now after 1 week the camera still on the store because they need to "verify" my order... nonsense (since the charge has been made full payment!!). Supervisor were nice to help but didn't provide any apology neither was able to explain the nonsense verify situation. Anyway I hope they send me my camera today as they said. But for now I don't recommend this "store" for anything serious.

    Bought a QNAP NAS box. B&H Photo's website clearly stated "Free Expedited Shipping" in numerous places. After paying with PayPal I discovered that I'd been charged $30 for expedited shipping. When I called I was placed on hold for quite a while. Ultimately I was told that the extra charge was my fault and that it would not be refunded. Even if I refused the order I would be charged $30. I did not see a checkbox requesting alternate shipping options, nor did I make such a request. I regret having done business with this company and will not do so again in the future.

    I've been to B&H Photo before researching a lot and it was finally time to make a purchase. The site was easy to navigate and is also very helpful and descriptive in what it offers. I purchased everything online as there isn't really a store close enough for me to get to unless I spend a whole day planning to be out there and returning. There is always the chance that ordering online will have security concerns. This worried me on my first order but has now subsided. They have fast shipping and it was also easy to compare items side by side. They have a great selection of products for professional photographers and they have the newest items in stock.     My experience is very fast and easy order. I was amazed with the service. Product are reliable and portable. Nobody need to worry about uses.     We've had a good experience shopping at B&H. They had very helpful and knowledgeable staff and ok prices. Their sales were commendable and price match policy helped out with making decisions on our purchases. Their customer service and item selection were positives. Their overall selection was huge and promising. I like the number of brands that were available to compare with each other. Their ads were helpful and beneficial. However, their sales people were a little pushy and the warranty plan that was offered was not very appealing. I didn't appreciate the commission based sales approach, seemingly was what the staff was going for. I was offered photography classes, but not sure I'll ever have a chance to use those.

    I purchased my merchandise online and I had a good experience. The service was adequate and reliable. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. This site was fast, easy to use and reliable. I never felt like it was a scam or that I would receive a broken product. Also, they ship their products fast. But their shipping prices could have been cheaper. It makes it hard to purchase something else from the site when I know how much they charge for standard shipping.     I'm very happy with this company and I would like to repeat certainly. They are good. Clarity of contents, simple interface, text depth, outstanding news, social networks, competitive prices, and quick delivery in my home. I buy a products on a Monday and the next day it arrived at my address, even though my home is located in the heart of the Nevada desert. The product arrived in optimal conditions and without any defect. Is the best thing that has happened to me with company.

    I buy online. My photography camera buy in the web shop. I like to buy on the web because I spend more time searching the products.     Everything has always been great with B&H Photo. Great service & they're one of the best when it comes to photo & video equipment. When I want to buy something I always check them out first. I also check other places like Amazon to make sure the prices are close. I went to their website & looked around. I found what I was looking for & bought it. Good prices & a vast selection of things to buy. It's like Amazon for photo & video equipment. The fact that they also sell computer gear is also a plus. But their computer deals aren't as stand out as their photo & video equipment deals. I've always liked their website but it's becoming a bit outdated. Too many things I want are sold out. But B&H Photo is better than most I'd say.

    The store had a wide selection of photo equipment at reasonable prices. Unlike most big box stores like Best Buy, B&H had a wider and more niche selection of photography products which I enjoyed. The brands carried and the quality of the products is the main reason I've continued shopping at B&H. I like that the store often has deals on its equipment. Along with the free shipping, the shopping experience was better than most. The filtering system was fairly accurate and helped me track down specific items I wanted. The prices themselves were better than most photo/electronics retailers I've visited before. I also liked the selection of products available as well as the in depth items specifications for each item.

    The experience was on par with most online vendors. I bought my equipment online. I used the site's filtering system to narrow down the appropriate lens for my Canon camera. The item description at the bottom of the item pages were relatively helpful in making my decision. The purchase went relatively smoothly with little hiccup. I did not contact customer service with any questions or issues.

It was a bit overwhelming but with the help off the staff I was able to select my perfect product within my given price range and everything was explained to me quite thoroughly. Buy your camera or photography equipment online or in store, since it was more convenient to do so. The location was convenient to me. It was accessibly by many methods of transportation. The city is very crowded but once inside the store it was fine. It was a very good experience overall.

    When visiting B&H Photo I was very well pleased with the selection they have, and that they have great delivery times and estimated dates displayed. With most other companies you have to worry about their selection choices, and what is or not in stock at the time of your orders and has some type of issues that will come up sooner or later. The stock and availability of B&H Photo's items are something that I have fell in love with. All of the features were available and had stock items ready at demand. When I was on B&H Photo I purchased just photography equipment. The experience was great, and the prices were something that was very comparable with other competitors.     B&H has always been great. I have always had a good experience with them. They have shipped my products quickly and nothing was ever damaged. I absolutely love their used products and how they rank them according to their age and quality. They do a great job of being up front on the quality of the product you are buying which is awesome. I have always bought online from B&H photo as I live in the boonies with no camera stores close by. I have never had an issue and have bought several bodies and several lenses from them.     I purchased a large television. The company advertised free delivery and no tax. They advertised and stated they had a 'White Glove' service. When queried directly what that service was, the representative said that it provided for unboxing and setting up the television on a TV table (if a customer table was available), no wiring of the TV. I purchased the service. When the TV was delivered, I was told by the delivery person that the white glove service would only provide for unboxing plugging it to assure it worked, but leaving the TV lying flat on the floor. When I complained to B&H I was told that it should have been set up on the table and not plugged in. When I told them I didn't get that, they immediately changed the previous representation and told me that the delivery person had fulfilled the obligation by offering to leave the TV unboxed on the floor plugged in.

    Additionally, although they advertised free shipping, I was charged $66.40 for the shipping. When I complained they simply ignored my complaint. I brought the matter to my credit card company (VISA). They 'investigated' by checking with the merchant, but not me. The merchant B&H reported that they had fulfilled their obligation to me. They never checked with me. If I had paid with American Express, this would never have happened. They have a complaint department that investigates both sides of an issue. I'd advised using AMEX when making large purchases not VISA.

    How do I even begin.. It's the absolute worst. I ordered a PS4 Slim Uncharted Bundle on December 28th, paying by an Indian Debit Card (since I live in India). But then my friend told me that he could get it for me cheaper from Dubai. So I emailed them requesting a cancellation and a refund.     I ordered Platinum Tools EZ-RJ45 CAT6 Connectors (Jar Packaging, 100-Pieces) PL202010J In Stock QTY: 1 Price: $62.26 back in December of 2015. I just started using them a week ago. However, they are not terminating correctly when I go to test the cables that I am terminating. I am getting shorts and failed terminations. I thought that it was the cables. However, after getting some other CAT6 RJ-45 connectors and re-terminating all of the cables, I found that all of the cables passed. Therefore, it is my conclusion that these connectors are faulty and I would like a refund.

    When I called to get a refund and to return the product; I spoke with Harry. He spoke in a monotone voice and tried to get me to accept a replacement jar of connectors. I told him that I would rather have a refund. I am not in the practice of sticking my hand in the fire a second time after I have been burned. He went on to exclaim that he has been doing this for ten years. I responded by telling him that I have been in my line of work for over 30 years. He persistently tried to make me think that I didn't know what I was talking about and when I asked for a supervisor he beat around the bush and procrastinated. All, I wanted was a refund. All he kept telling me is that the next jar would work. I asked him if he could guarantee this. He said that he couldn't.

    Anyway, after going around with Harry and understanding that he was not going to get a supervisor, I hung the phone up and called back to get to a different representative. When I asked that representative for a supervisor, he too procrastinated and came back to the phone 9 minutes later to tell me that there is no supervisor available. This was my first time as well as my last time doing any kind of business with B&H.

    I wish I could agree with the positive reviews of B&H but unfortunately a chain (in this case the business) is only as strong as its weakest link. I believe customer service rep Danny ** may be this link at B&H. Placing a recent order with B&H online, shipping recognized my mailing address (a P.O. box) from a prior delivery and I saw no need to change it since it still remains my mailing address. However, my packages were shipped UPS and I was not notified. The packages were dropped off elsewhere with no address noted. Starting with the tracking number I had to research this myself and it was only through phone calls that I eventually got this vital information.

    I emailed B&H informing them of what happened and remained cordial when mentioning I felt fortunate the homeowner where my packages were delivered was honest enough to turn them over to me. I was shocked with Danny **'s reply where he mentions, and I quote: "You must choose a shipping option that ensures shipment via USPS. Standard and free expedited shipping are not methods that can be used in an order such as this."

    Now how in God's green Earth am I suppose to know about B&Hs company policy and how packages are being shipped? I do not work for them. I also do not work for the USPS, FedEx, DHL, or UPS but now I'm being informed I am somehow responsible for this shipping problem. What about my time, effort and cost in tracking the packages down so I could retrieve them? Am I simply Out of Luck if the Homeowner had denied receiving the packages and kept them? B&H has yet to comment on my follow-up email and I now doubt they will. All I can say is Thank God for an honest homeowner and other camera stores.

    Updated on 2117375: I recently reviewed B&H with 2 stars noting at the end I haven't received a response regarding my complaint. I am glad to announce I finally did receive a response and would like to now change my review to 1 star. Never have I had a company go to such lengths to refuse responsibility for their error.     I am, Nadezhda **, made an order in the online shop "B&H Photo" for the amount of $578.95. The order was made - 11.07.2016 and at the same time I got email with order confirmation, and information that my purchase was mailed in two boxes. The first tracking number - 1) #** (FDX SAVER Shipping), (for the amount of $34.00). The second tracking number - 2) #** (STANDARD Shipping), (for the amount of $544.95)

    As a result, box #1) - I got 11.10.2016 in 1:44 pm and a box of #2) - I never got it. But checking on tracking number (#**) location of box #2), I saw a box of #2) was returned back to the departure point, i.e. in the online shop B&H Photo. It turns out that the Store Administration intentionally returned back (took back in the shop) box #2. This I saw, when looked at the website of the Postal Service, moving (tracing) of the box #2. "B&H Photo Online Store" at the beginning was sent a box of #2 to my address, and then halfway the returned box back in shop ("B&H Photo Online Store"). And money they took me as for the total purchase. Thus shop "B&H Photo" stole from me $544.95. When I initiated the dispute, the shop "B&H Photo" refused to return me the money. They argue that all goods sent me. But this is blatant cheating.

    I want to draw your attention to the fact, that the administration of the "B&H Photo" Store knowingly fraud. B&H Photo Store administration took money from me, and then deliberately and arbitrarily, without any reason returned goods (on the halfway) back in the shop and then deceives. "B&H Photo Online Store" a cheater.

    I ordered a Red Asus Zenphone from B&H on 12/13/2016. This was a special Christmas gift for my wife. She opened the box on Christmas day to find that the phone would not turn on and even work. I called today 12/26 and was told that this was a discontinued item and could not be exchanged. This company knew that this item was a recall and discontinued phone when shipped. Shame on B&H for ruining my Christmas gift and my wife's expectations of this special gift. This company should have more respect for customers than pull this type of sales crap. I will never buy from them again and will tell everyone that I know about how they operate.     I contacted them through their live chat about the shutter count of an used camera. They told me 4,395 which is too good to be true at the price shown in the website. I asked for proof; any form of document/test results that will guarantee me the shutter count is correct. (When someone is selling a camera they often do a shutter count test, you can see a lot of people selling cameras EVEN on eBay post screenshots of the result.) They refused to show me anything even though they could easily screenshot it from their system.

    Then they told me to call a sales representative for the used department which I called but I did not mention I had spoken to someone on the live chat and asked about the shutter count again. HE GAVE ME A DIFFERENT ANSWER: 13,265. I asked for proof & he also refused to in a VERY NASTY tone.     I have been a loyal customer for 27 years, purchasing over $125,000 in photo equipment from them. I recently ordered the new $2,200 Nikon 105mm f1.4 lens from them. After rigorously testing the first lens, I found the focus was inconsistent, and requested a new version (this is the first of numerous lenses I have purchased and have ever requested a return for). They were very quick to issue a return authorization. The second version arrived in an intact outer shipping box, but the inner Nikon box was heavily crushed and had several labels partially peeled off. I often sell my older photo equipment with original packaging in perfect condition, and I had no idea if this crushed box might have affected the lens. Again B&H quickly and graciously accepted a return for issue of a third one.

    The third replacement came today. I closely inspected the outside packaging which proved to be perfect. When I opened it, the Nikon box for the lens was partially crushed, and there were 2 full thickness punctures through the box, as well as other prominent scruff marks. The lens itself appears unblemished, and functions well with preliminary testing. But when I spend this amount of money for a new product, it is discouraging to have it look like it came in a box that fell off a truck. I don't think I'm being unreasonable, but when I pay a significant amount of money for new photographic gear, it should look new. B&H is failing here, and I will no longer purchase from them. I have also canceled my other back ordered orders with them. I am moving on to other sources.

    Went to B&H Photo online to purchase a MacBook. I placed it in my cart but did not purchase it. Next morning I received an email regarding the item I had in my cart was the, "lowest price ever!" That was going to be the deal closer. I clicked the link to purchase it, but the price in my cart was still the one from the night before. I tried to call at 2 pm PST but they were closed being in New York. I thought I'll wait til they're open on Sunday. Bottom line: I have gotten almost no use out of this camera and I will never buy or recommend a Fuji, certainly not recommend their horrible repair system and I will no longer make purchases from B&H.

    Ordered a pico projector for an art class. Specified that I needed all the equipment to connect to an iPhone/iPad. Salesman I talked to gave me a bundle price after a lengthy discussion with his supervisor. Projector came without necessary adapters. Called them back and spoke to Blaise who apologized and guaranteed that he would correct the problem and ship out the necessary parts immediately. Parts never came.     I recently put in an order at B&H and 44 minutes later I cancelled the order. I was ordering from Canada so I was dealing with exchange rates. B&H did not process my cancellation for 24 hours which meant the exchange rate changed and I was out $300. It seems to me that if a company can withdraw money quickly they should be able to cancel in the same timely manner. They were not interested in addressing their failings to quickly cancel and reimburse and blamed the credit card company. I think they need to look closer to home and find a better way to deal with international orders. I won't be dealing with B&H anymore.

    Please read the following if you want a true complete review of a multi-item purchase of just under 1000.00 US$ made on June 24, 2016 at 9:49am. I never previously bought from B&H Photo or did any business with them. I needed a Canon PowerShot GX & Mark II Camera for indoor simple and quick picture-taking. Personally, I do not know much about cameras but my son in law strongly recommended it for the purpose of our family get together. With accessories and combined options I was looking at just under 1000.00 US for all I needed.

    Being an eBay and Amazon buyer I searched the web and found the best deal available was through Canon direct. There was a promotion and a savings of $200.00 being offered if the CS connect station was ordered at the same time, but they could not sell to me due to my shipping address was US, but my billing address was in Canada??? This after 1 hour trying to place the order on their website and a call to their customer service dept. Back to the web to find almost all places were out of stock (I WAS LOOKING FOR THE NEWER MARK II VERSION) and even Amazon was saying ships within 2 days of receiving BUT read closer. Seemed too good to be true so I googled a customer reference review. THIS SITE CAME UP, CONSUMERAFFAIRS AND THE REVIEWS CAUSED ME TO RETHINK EVER BUYING FROM B&H PHOTO. I was scared due to the reviews of this site. I went back to the web and read more reviews from other sites. I found quite a difference and even found one site where I believe the owner, or some exec replies to all complaints online.

    Feeling a little better, I went to Google satellites and looked at their actual New York storefront to be sure this was a brick and mortar business. It was and the pics are real, showing a large store, not a hole in the wall operation. Now ready to purchase but still gun-shy DUE TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS HERE ON THIS SITE, I went to their web page and their online "Live Chat" service.

    So I purchase the unit with an extra Cannon Battery and a couple of SD cards cheaper than I could have got from Amazon as they were having a sale. I followed the shipment online through the UPS website and received the camera and accessories as promised on time and for the best price I could find on the web. I am a satisfied customer and just want to set the record straight, their customer service was great. David **, the live chat guy was quick, polite, straight forward and no misguidance what so ever. In making very large purchases it is not unusual to look for discounts, especially when B&H may not offer the lowest prices and they can still walk away with a profit margin. But after engaging in good-faith with BH on two occasions here is what I've noticed: they will denigrate the products from the other company, then make evasive alternative offers that are not sincere, then put you on hold for a long time - even 5-10 minutes, and finally come back with an insulting offer of a discount, such as about 1%. The lesson is, if you find a better price elsewhere with a reputable company, go for it.

    AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ordered a small telescope (USD87) from B&H and arrived to the customs in a reasonably time. I paid USD 46 for the delivery cost which is also nothing to complain about. However the item stuck in the customs because of missing digits in HS Code. It was impossible to clear and get the items with these codes. So I contacted B&H for a return actually a recall as I don't physically have them with myself. They quoted me some USD 255 for the return! This was ridiculous. This means my return right is usurped, this is that simple.

    As a customer I don't care about company's third party relations or agreements with logistic partners but what I will definitely expect is a trusty and fair manner in each part of the service; this is selling and returning practices. In short don't expect this from this company. Once they sell, they finish the service. This is what they understand from a online customer shopping experience.

    These are sleazy operators that should be avoided. I purchased a Sony 128GB M Series UHS-II SDXC Memory Card (U3) B&H # SOSF128GBU3 MFR # SF M128/T that advertised a write speed of up to 100MB/s. When I tested the speed it was only 32GB/s which is much too slow for my camera. Also, when I looked at the properties for this card in Windows it was a Ricoh card. The store said their specs for the card was 30MB/2 to 100MB/s but nowhere is that advertised on their website or Sony's. It was a flimsy cop-out. By the time I discovered all this, I had discarded the packaging. I would never buy from them again. Live chat on their website tech support transferred me from tech support to customer service where they left me hanging. After 20 minutes I gave up.

    They don't even deserve one star. I ordered QuickBooks from B&H. Payment was taken on the same day as email to say it's not compatible for UK residents (weird) and could not be sent. They overcharged me and then only refunded part of the money back. Upon asking them to rectify they told me it was due to exchange rate changes or bank charges. The rate was the same at the end of the week as the start. I contacted the bank and they confirmed that no charges had been made by them.     After viewing a GOPRO & some other accessories at B&H & deciding to do some additional research before placing the order, I continued to get ads from B&H for up to 20% off the items I was looking at. However, when I would click on the ad, the price was the same. I brought this to the attention of B&H & heard back from their Director of Corporate Communications, Henry **. I sent him about a dozen "screen shots". He claimed that these ads were not B&H's & therefore they were not responsible for the FALSE ADVERTISING??? How ridiculous is that? Who do you think is paying for these ads? As a small business owner, I would love for someone to be out there placing free ads for me. If they are some sort of an affiliate ad where they get a commission or something, then still B&H is responsible for the FALSE ADVERTISING. The Director of Corporate Communications insists these are not B&H's ads?

There are mysterious people out there placing FALSE/FRAUDULENT ADS out there with B&H's logo, products, address, telephone number, etc. Mr. ** is adamant they are NOT B&H ads though? Sounds like a Scooby Doo episode. Of course they are B&H ads. It is clear they are FRAUDULENT ADS too. It will catch up with them just like all of the other negative press about B&H has. Simply GOOGLE "B&H scandal"; B&H FRAUD. What do you say, Mr. **? Are all of these court actions, federal prosecutions, scandals, fraudulent activity, scams, etc. also done by "someone else"? Is B&H investigating who is placing these expensive ads on your behalf? Did the same people placing all of these expensive ads also rip people off? In the beginning of our conversations you promised me that if B&H was at fault, you would take care of it & I trusted you.

    I received the TV from them in the approximated time I was given and I was happy to finally have the setup I had been looking for. Opened the box plugged tv in and wow the screen is broken. I contact them right away but to my luck they just went into passover holiday and were closed for another week and half. I finally got in contact them and they picked tv up. Time passes and the week deadline passes for the refund to show on my card. Then another week, and I contact them again. They tell me that they did not sell the tv and are doing investigation.     I went looking for film on 4/19/16. The advertisement that came up through Google was a multi-pack of 36 exposure film rolls Kodak Porta 400. The price was good $9/box according to the advertisement. I purchased two. Two boxes. I received a big box in the mail, and it had two rolls of film in it.

    When I went back and rechecked the advertisement, there was no doubt. The advertisement was very clearly a multi-pack. I brought this to B&H' attention on Twitter, to which their Director of Communications responded that it was obviously Google's fault that their advertisement was incorrect; essentially passed the buck. I filed a report with Google Merchant services outlining the problem. I disputed the charge through Paypal, as the product received was not what was advertised. I filled out a survey with B&H, and someone from their customer service department (not their overlord) did issue a refund and apologize for the issue. So there's the silver lining. At least someone in their customer service department was doing something right.

    On 5/18 I received an email from the Director of Corporate Communications, which also happens to be the individual running the Twitter account. He had ALSO issued a refund. We're up to two refunds now, and I still have the property (two rolls of film). I have asked multiple times for an official statement on the film and received back from the Director of Corporate Communications

    For the sake of legality, I suppose I am going to have to take it. I have also pointed out that they issued two refunds. The response: "On 5/7 we received notice of your chargeback. We contested it and the funds were rightly returned to us since we'd fulfilled the terms of the transaction fully and completely. On 5/49 under ** we processed your refund. Personally I don't care what you do with the film."

    As hilarious as this is, there was indeed a transaction of $18 on 5/7, and it was a credit to my account, not a reversed refund. I have tried to be honest and forthright with this issue. I have tried to get the ownership of the property (film) verified. I have tried to point out that they actually refunded me twice, and ignored because these folks (rather this individual) is incapable of being wrong.

    At this point, given their Communications department inability to communicate, I am going to dispute any additional "charges" on my account should they finally decide to correct their stance on whether or not I am correct on their duplicate refund. So now I have $36. $18 of which I didn't start with and 2 rolls of film that only be rough admission now belong to me. I tried to make it even, I tried to make it square. But I'm just a stupid customer, so there you have it.

    A month ago I bought a new computer, printer, software package from B&H Photo. They tell you a lot of things on the phone, however they do not tell you anything about the fine print. Once you receive your order, the invoice has all the fine print on the back of it. B&H Photo are a bunch of underhanded crooks. They get your money, then you get to see the fine print when your order arrives and you realize you have been had. The new computer they sent is defective and they weasel their way out of the 30-day return policy by stalling you and giving you the run around. They are nothing better than a bunch of swindlers.

    STAY AWAY FROM B&H PHOTO. Please learn from my mistake and deal with Amazon or anybody but B&H. They will tell you how sorry they are about your dissatisfaction, and lie about how they tried to resolve the issue. B&H is a terrible experience, and when you buy a JUNK new ASUS computer from them, you just got double-swindled.

    I work in an elementary school and ordered a lip sync corrector for our morning news show. The NEW product arrived, obviously USED. I immediately called to get it remedied. The B&H customer service agent was very reluctant to talk to me and told me that there was "no way you got a used one". The product is white and it obviously had dirty streaks on it, not to mention deep scratches in the plastic. The only reason I am taking the time to write this review is because the customer service agent refused to send a new replacement out until the old one was received. The agent informed me that the return label was in the mail. It has been 3 weeks now and still no return label.     I have been a customer of B&H for many years and have spent thousands of dollars during that period. On Thursday April 28, 2016, I ordered Cyan Ink for my Epson SureColor Printer P800. I was very specific and asked the rep to send me the ink for this printer. Online the ink that is listed is for the 3880 printer. In the long discussion, I said I needed the ink for the above printer. But the wrong ink was sent. The ink did not fit, and any attempt to force it would have wrecked my printer. B&H was closed for Passover. I telephoned B&H this morning and tried to get them to give me a refund for the ink. They refused and blamed me for the mistake. I stated that they would lose me as a customer and that given the amount of money that I have spent over the years, they should be willing to honor this request. They refused as did the Manager named Ike.

    It is very poor business practice to treat customers in this fashion. And I was both surprised and disappointed. The bottom line is that B&H should have been willing to take the loss of the price of the ink in order to keep a customer satisfied. They were unwilling to do so. They have lost me as a customer. Sad to note that B&H does not seem to care about its customers.

    I have done business with B&H Photo for the last 3 years both for personal and professional work. By large I have not had any problems. Shipping was fast and smooth. People I've talked to have been helpful and professional. I have done A LOT of business with them and occasionally things happen (again by far I've never had a problem). I once ordered the wrong item and B&H Photo let me send it back for a full refund and even paid shipping that time (That was a while ago and it was totally my fault. I don't know that they pay shipping for returns anymore). I had a surround sound unit come in that was damaged by the manufacturer (not B&H Photo) but they took it back and sent me a new one (I should have sent it to the manufacturer but that would have been a huge pain and taken so much longer).

    I purchased a light controller. Once that came very damaged (rack ears busted, paint chips, missing fader knobs). B&H Photo just had me send it back and replaced with another one (in excellent shape. My guess is it got damaged in shipping). If you do enough business with someone there will be times something happens for sure whether it is because of a manufacturer or the shipping company or whatever but so far I really feel B&H Photo has treated me excellent. I have been happy doing business with them.

    I ordered a 40" TV through B&H Photo and it came damaged. I contacted them and I had to pay for another television to get a replacement sent out to me. I then received the second TV and it was damaged as well. The box the TVs were delivered in were very thin and offered no protection to the TVs. They made zero effort on the second TV to ensure it would reach me undamaged. Both TVs were sent back and I have received my refund for both. Even after two damaged TVs I was going to try for a third time. Looking through their products, I came across a TV that I was very interested in. It was on sale and a size 50". So I called them up and explained the past issues I had and the trouble I had been through and wanted to see if I could get the 50" sale price on the smaller 40", which one would think would be a better deal for them. The guy was rude and basically told me to go pound sand. I urge people to approach this company with caution.

    As a beginning photographer, I contacted B&H for advice on a softbox umbrella I can only buy in the US. There was a lot of doubt which out of two models you need when using it on Elinchrom ELB 400s. So I chatted with their Sales Support, asking for advice for the specific goal. He took his time and came back with a clear answer, stating the 8 mm model was what I needed. So I ordered it, paid shipping to Europe, extra taxes, etc. Now I was ready, only my Elinchrom flash set (bought locally) hadn't arrived yet. When it did, of course I checked it out, only to notice, the 8 mm was too thick.

    This week, I contacted B&H and they said I couldn't rely on return, because their 30 days return was past. Seriously, the modifier had been in the box. It is up until today unused, since I don't have any device to fit it on, and they hide behind a return policy. In all honesty, I tried to explain that the thing was still in its original box, untouched, but it was like I was talking to a robot, "30 days. Can't help you." As if I wouldn't have done this earlier if I could!

    B&H should really reflect on this: instead of each time steering the conversation towards some document rules, they should really try to focus on the real problem. They were the ones who gave bad advice in the first place. But apparently, a piece of paper means more to them than straightening the errors they made! They choose policy rules above reason, so in contrast to praising them like I did years before, with the same persistence, I will tell my story to warn other customers. It's sad to see that today, customer satisfaction is hardly to be found anymore. To me it's simple. If this outcome doesn't change, I will think of other places to invest for my profession and repost this story for as long as I like.

    I was looking for an affordable solid state SSD external hard drive with no moving parts or spinning hard drive to reliably backup my files. After searching many websites and many listings, I found the only item that matched my criteria which was the Oyen Digital USB 3.0 Model U32 Shadow drive. I was so excited to find what I was looking for about $80 per drive so I bought two as Christmas gifts for myself and my wife. When I finally opened one of the drives after the Christmas rush, I was very disappointed to find that it was just an ordinary spinning hard drive that is not very reliable for long-term backup from my experience.

When I contacted Customer Service to rectify the matter, they refused to accept any kind of return even for store credit or exchange even though one unit had not been opened and the other is in perfect shape and unused. These drives are useless to me and I will never do business with this company again and I do not recommend them to anyone. Their advertisements are very misleading and I feel that a bait and switch occurred and they were completely unwilling to rectify the situation. If this company does anything to correct this situation I would gladly change my review however this seems very unlikely at this point.

    BUYER BEWARE... They are very difficult to deal with and their idea of a resolution will only benefit the company not you. I wonder if these phones are legal? They say Samsung but Samsung does not acknowledge them...Hmmm... The phone not working properly. Returned 2 times before. This time I called Samsung and they did not recognize the IMEI number. They said the phone was not from the US but I reminded them that they were an international company and they were still not interested in servicing the product.

    When I purchased the phone I was told it was unlocked and when I asked what that meant they explained that it was not "locked" into any specific phone service and that I could go with the carrier of my choice. Apparently, it meant more than that and they did not feel the need to disclose that to me. The moral of the story is that they will do me a favor and repair it but it will take between 6 and 8 weeks before I get it back. Really? Their solution is no phone for 2 months under warranty. Seriously? I would never buy anything from them because they appear to be a very shady company.

I input phone number everything and company makes no attempt to get in contact with me and request that my package be returned to them.     I ordered a new Apple computer from B&H in NYC on Jan. 18th. They took my order and my credit card. It was charged and was to be shipped to me on Feb. 1st. On Feb 2nd they informed me that they did not have the computer I ordered by e-mail. I called them and was connected to customer service. They then explained to me that they felt it was an error in their system and it was not their fault. I asked to make me whole by sending me a computer of the same quality as I ordered even if it was a newer than the one I ordered. They refused and told me they gave me a store credit.     Buyers beware. Bait & switch at B&H and being screwed seems to be an on-going issue from folks who take the time to write. I almost did not take the time to write like most people. I got stuck with a $400 printer which was bonus part of a T5i kit but no T5i. One never realized size and weight of printer until you were at pickup counter after check out. In the ad the photos of printer looked like a regular size printer (bait & switch) and not a huge heavy printer. It was closing, the employee had to take printer to taxi for me which cost me $50 to get printer home (I have receipt).

    I returned camera only and couldn't return printer because it was too heavy to get back to the store so I was stuck with it. I also wanted to order a different newer camera for which I already have lenses. When I finally saw how "little" I was being reimbursed for camera and as a result how "much" I was being charged for printer I realized I was being royally screwed. So I asked if I could just keep camera and cancel return even though same EXACT special was on, the return was not finalized (mind you this was all within a two week time period) I was told "NO" BUT THAT I COULD PAY FULL PRICE IF I WANTED THE T5i back. WTF B&H. This has nothing to do with anything but I've been a loyal customer for over a decade. I sent a lot of business your way from myself, jobs and friends over the years. I will now be a loyal customer to anyone BUT B&H. I feel taken advantage of, scammed and out $400 - for a printer I never wanted or needed.

    B&H Photo does not honor it's own warranty. I bought very expensive lights that do not work. I ordered more lights which arrived tossed in a poorly constructed box. The UPS deliverer was appalled by the (lack of) packaging. Needless to say, everything inside not working. Customers service abusive, and hostile. If you can reach anyone.

    I have purchased several items from B&H in the past until now (Canon L lenses, bodies, etc)… When I finally needed some customer service. My fiancé and I wanted to buy the Samsung 75JU7100 75" 4K TV for $4300 but it was on back order for at least a couple of weeks. Knowing the black Friday and cyber Monday sales were coming up, we reached out to their sales department to inquire on whether they'd price match if/when the price was reduced for the sale if we ordered in advance. Otherwise we were simply going to wait. They said they would and will for up to 30 days.

    During the sale the price dropped $300. I screen captured the page and had my fiancé send them the request to reduce the price – and they denied it on a technicality. By the time the CSR looked it had changed back (the price). Despite the screenshot. Despite the promise. Despite the fact that it obviously did drop in price. Sadly the TV hadn't even been delivered yet still. They further warned us that we'd eat the shipping cost if we returned it. It's no wonder I find myself more and more just buying from Amazon.     I placed an order with B&H and wanted to edit the color after I had completed the checkout process. I attempted to cancel or edit the order on my own, but was unable to find the order in my account, even after searching by order number. I tried to call support but they were closed. I was unable to chat with support, so I sent an email. 2 days later I did not have a response, so I sent another email. The next day, I called and waited on hold for about 8 minutes. They said they refund the total price to my account and it will took approximately 3-5 business days.     I bought a Canon 7D used camera. They sent it to my friend who's in LA and he brought it out to me in Thailand. At 100 ISO and it's very grainy like I shot that 800 ISO or higher, and white areas are dirty. Canon said the sensor needs to be adjusted or replaced. B&H said they would give me store credit but I want them to pay for the repair at Canon in Bangkok. Anything I get from US to Thailand I pay a big tax on. It will cost me even more $$. I wrote to manager at B&H and he never wrote me back. I wanted $$ or they pay for Canon to repair. I will have spent more in this used camera than a new one.

    I relied on their reputation and now I find out they are worthless. Where are their business ethics?? I will be contacting every pro photographer I know and tell them never to buy from B&H Photo!     I have been buying camera and other gear from B&H for nearly 20 years. Trouble, dissatisfaction? NOT ONCE. This company is beyond reproach. I've returned a couple of items, refunded or replaced promptly. I have several friends who also shop there, including pro photographers. NEVER HEARD A COMPLAINT. And believe me, they WOULD complain if there were cause. I have no stake in B&H, no interest except in having a trusted source for my equipment.     I have been ordering photography equipment from B&H online for years (as recently as last week) and occasionally go into their store as well (like Disneyland for grownups). I have had nothing but positive experiences with their products, their shipping, and their customer service. I read through the reviews, and while some of the negative ones are legit complaints about customer service, complaining about getting a cancellation on a used product (not ideal but easily explained by lag between in-store sales and online sales) or a product not working and the repair taking a while, doesn't really seem fair to B&H, so I wanted to add my positive experiences to the mix. Most people only take the time to review when they have something to complain about.

    I purchased a late 2013 iMac from B&H. After I set it up, I realized that it was a bit fuzzy and slow. My iPad was better. So, I requested to return it. They won't take it back. To be fair, they say this on their website, however, it is in very small print after multiple drill downs. On the front page, they say in bold, shop with confidence as returns are easy.     I no longer trust B&H or Asus computer manufacturer. I spent a lot of money buying an Asus G751JT new in April 2015. Out of the box the screen had air bubble on it. B&H refused to take it back since I accidentally scratched the outside of the laptop. I sent it into Asus and they replaced it. Asus also refused refund. Then I get the laptop back from Asus and then Num Lk key stopped working. I sent it to Asus again for fixing. I get it back and then my video editing program Pinnacle Studio stops working properly. This is nonsense since I consulted with B&H staff prior to buying this laptop and it is what they recommended to me.

    While using that program, audio would not work on any other program such as Windows Media Player or video on any web browser. Asus insists it's Pinnacle's fault even though it worked fine before the first two times I sent it to them for fixing. Ok, so I accept I have to live with that nonsense. Then the laptop stopped working (as I see happened to other users here). The BIOS screen would come on with no way to get it to work properly. I hope by educating consumer blogs and also writing the BBB of New York and the Department of Consumer Affairs of NY that both Asus and B&H will do the ethical thing and refund me and apologize for selling me a malfunctioning laptop that has cost me 4 months of productivity as a YouTuber.

I made an international purchase and purchased a Slim keyboard for the Dell Venue Pro and they sent me the box with a different product inside. Inside the box they sent was a Dell travel keyboard which was also faulty, it did not charge. The box was 2nd hand and looked like it had been returned before as the seals were not stuck down and had stuff/dirt on them and they were not even sticky. It cost me $52 to return the thing hoping to get back $94.15. What a joke of a company, first they change the items in the box to faulty items that are not even new. Then they expect you to pay for return shipping. If I was a stupid consumer I wouldn't have even known they changed the item in the box.     I ordered a new 4K monitor and it arrived defective. The menu would not even come up on the screen when you press the hardware buttons. I called Dell customer support and got a third world country (one of many reasons why I despise Dell). They confirmed the monitor is defective. I call B&H and they tell me to ship it back and then they'll send me a new one. I say that will take 10 days and AMAZON and other retailers would ship a new one immediately and then send you a prepaid label that would start a credit immediately at drop off at a UPS location. B&H said in order for me to get a new monitor that is not broken more quickly, I would need to purchase a second one. I did that. Two-day shipping was included. They had to adjust the price because the monitor had already gone up in price.

    Monday (the third day after the order) the unit had not even shipped. I emailed B&H, they said that I had ordered too late on Friday. But I had ordered before noon (Pac time). Regarding returns: I looked at my RMA and label. They had issued a label that said I had to pay for return shipping. Aggravated I emailed them. Two days later they changed it to a prepaid UPS label. I dropped it off within a few hours to Staples (a UPS location) and send photos of the proof of drop off to them. I still must wait for it to be returned by ground delivery to them for a refund. Compared to the flawless service of AMAZON, I would recommend them over and over and over again compared to B&H audio. All I got B&H was I'm sorry 10 times. Finally they threw in one day overnight shipping but at this point that is little consolation to me given the aggravation with this order.

    I ordered and paid for a new Sony DSC RX10 camera ($900) directly from B&H. When it arrived, it was apparent that the camera had been opened previously. I looked at some youtube videos of unboxing this camera and I noticed mine was different in these aspects: 1) Missing retail tag hanging off the RX 10. 2) Battery plastic bag was unsealed. 3) Camera box did not have a clear or white seal/tape at the place where you open the box. In fact, after a closer look, the spot where you first open the box has a mark on the opening tab that looks like it had been opened before.

    The camera seems to work fine, but I am just disappointed that I didn't get a brand new camera but some demo. I called B&H customer service and the kind rep stated that not all boxes come sealed. That is a bit mind-blowing! I expected to be the first one to open it. So, I paid for a new camera and received one that had been opened which leaves me wondering how used this camera is. I could have bought a slightly used but in the box model from B&H's competitor for about $250 less.

    AVOID THESE THIEVES!! Ordered a GTX 980 Ti, got it, didn't work right. They ignored my RMA requests. Had to go to the manufacturer to get it exchanged. Manufacturer tells me the card is a 970 with a 980's cooler and stickers on it. Further evidence of the swap is the static bag the card came in was only taped shut, not factory heat sealed. Someone in their warehouse swapped out my card for one worth less than half its value. Trying to get the charge reversed but it's a Tax Refund card so it's nearly impossible. Have tried to bring this to light on their Facebook page but they keep removing the post to hide their corrupt business. So I'm trying to post this to places where they don't have propaganda like control.

    Initially, I had a very frustrating experience with B&H Photo, concerning a cancelled camera order from the used department (which I will not get into). However, once I expressed my frustration via reviews, B&H was very helpful in quickly returning my money to me and shipping me a replacement as soon as it came in.

    Soon thereafter, I ordered a pair of headphones that arrived very promptly and in great condition. I would definitely give five stars for that order. I just recently ordered a lens, and I hope everything goes well with that. B&H is my most trusted site in terms of the products it offers and the descriptions and reviews I can find on its site.

    Overall I think B&H has good service. However, I am still a bit skeptical when buying from the used department because of limited quantity and the possibility of multiple people ordering an item.

    After using B&H photo as an online resource for years, I was happy to finally be able to support them by purchasing a used d750. I placed my order and confirmed it with B&H. The day after they confirmed it, I received an email saying there was a glitch in the system and my order was cancelled. I called them to ask whether they could offer an item in place of it, and though customer service was friendly, the most helpful thing they could say was: "So sorry, nothing we can do."

    I understand that glitches happen, but why was this glitch not spotted in the confirmation? Why was this glitch not spotted before they charged my account? After researching online, I discovered that cancellation emails from B&H photo are fairly common. A confirmation from B&H is a pat on the back rather than a guarantee that the item will arrive on your doorstep.

    It will take another 3-5 days for me to receive my refund - meaning that I won't have the money to buy a camera from a different vendor for 3-5 days. I've always respected B&H and am disappointed that my first experience with B&H as a consumer has been so negative. Don't expect my recommendation or financial support.

    My 300 prime lens bought from B&H worked for only a year and then would not focus. I sent to Nikon and they sent it back, it was gray market. Local repair shops cannot get Nikon parts and could not fix it. I sent to B&H and the lens was not repaired, it still will not focus manual or auto modes. I have sent $100 in shipping and $385 in repair costs. B&H has a very short return policy and the lens came while I was on a trip (I told them about and was told the lens would arrive in time to take) and in order to have it repaired now I would have to pay all over again.     I ordered the Nokia Lumia 1520.3, RM-938, smartphone from B&H Photo on November 7, 2014. The item delivered December 17th - it was backordered. Three-and-a-half months and a display problem appears. It's a string of white dots in the upper right hand corner of the screen. It looks like pearls on lighter backgrounds that disappears when black. April 12, 2015, I bring the phone to B&H. Customer Service says I'm out of luck. Three months is their limit for replacing defective products. No one tells me anything more. I thought, "The manufacturer warranties their phones for twelve months." So I leave upset, but hopeful. I bring this problem to the manufacturer.

    April 14th, I call Nokia, answer questions, and they give me an RMA. April 17th, I ship the phone from New York City to Fort Worth, TX. It returns unrepaired on April 22nd with this note: "This product is not covered by the Nokia USA limited warranty as the device was not designed for the US market.” We do not have the capability to repair devices that were not designed for the US market. Please check the warranty information that was included with your device and/or contact your point of purchase. We appreciate your business and we regret that we were unable to repair your device. As you seek a replacement, we hope you'll consider another Nokia product."

    Now I'm livid, a week with no phone and nothing accomplished. I review the B&H phone AD and find this statement on the Website: "Is there NOKIA provided warranty?" - A shopper on November 17, 2014. Best Answer: "No, this phone comes with a 1-year limited warranty from B&H. If the phone becomes defective in this timeframe, you may bring it back to us."

    April 26th, I return to B&H with screen shots of their AD. They give me a repair offer with 4 to 6 week turnaround when I point this out. Why didn't they tell me this my first visit on April 12th? This is not going well. I can't be without a phone 4 to 6 weeks. It's an attempt to discourage the claim while looking helpful. I tell Customer Service, "I'll think about it" and leave.

    B&H Photo emails a purchase evaluation to me. I tell them my experience. Another email comes with an apology, and offer to replace my phone. It will be ready for pickup the afternoon, that day. Now I'm pleased. Within a week, I return to B&H. There, Customer Service informs me the last phone was sold and they don't stock them anymore. Am I not being jerked around? Do they want my satisfaction or a cover in case of litigation? I think the latter! That was my only purchase from B&H Photo and it will be my last! My cost, $550 and a whole lot of aggravation.

    I believe B&H used to be a good seller, however now I'm afraid they have turned into another New York 'bait & switch' online electronics store. Quick recap of my experience... I purchased an aerial photography unit, I received the wrong model (a less expensive one of course). I politely contacted them, they refused to exchange and claimed I would need to pay extra to get the model that I actually purchased (and had receipts for). I think that essentially qualifies as a bait & switch tactic. I will say that the customer service was responsive, though their responses were neither forthright or productive. Beware.

    Buyer beware! I bought a Galaxy note 3 unlocked. Paid $538 for a phone that glitched as soon as I tried to use the "selfie". It went to "pretty face" mode and gives me an error if I try to use it. Their "solution" will take 8 weeks to fix the phone!!! Insane! No other options. So I am stuck with a broken phone, expensive and with one of the most popular features useless.
