I have been a customer since 2020 I believe and I have always been happy with my service until this year, suddenly I have had issues constantly with my wifi signal going out multiple time a day on an almost daily basis, I was told to reconnect the Eros and then the issue would stop but it hasn't and I am still having issues with it cutting off and them coming back on about 5 to 10 minutes later if at all. I am getting to the point where I am thinking about finding new service but I would love to stay with this company if the problem will stop.

It arrived fast and great service. Have enjoyed using it to stream. It works perfectly well. Dealing with customer service is good. Never have any issues. Always have had great service. Always learn about something new. I would always recommend them to friends and family. Excellent service overalls. Never have issues getting help when I need it.

I called last Thursday, May 29, 2025 because the TV guide information quit working on two TV’s. It just says title not available. It had not worked for about a week and I thought maybe it was a glitch in your system and would reset. It didn’t. The gentleman I talked to said someone would contact me within 24 hours and here we are six days later and I’ve heard nothing. I have unplugged both boxes and still nothing. HELP!!!

Called to have a tech come to investigate reason for dropping connection. Tech replaced outside line connectors. Determined issue was with line across highway (was noisy). Tech couldn't replace due to traffic frequency. Was going to call for bucket truck to replace. No response yet. Repair status is unknown. May have been completed, may not have. Communication is lacking.

My price went up $100 a month and called and was promised to be contacted by promotional team and have not received a call. Will now have to call back and have person tell me they can't help. Maybe this time someone will reach back out and help me. I have been with Mediacom for over a decade.

I initiated an inquiry through the online chat tool about why our Internet was slower than expected. I was directed to remove any splitters (which were none), this resulted in a completely unnecessary services technician call. Issue was eventually resolved easily with a phone call.

I was told 2 weeks on the cable being buried. It still has not been touched and it makes it difficult to mow our big yard. Please do something about this soon. I appreciate how quickly you came out to fix since Waterloo Fiber cut our cable but I am afraid something will happen to the cable just laying in my yard.

This has been a very pleasurable experience. I was awesome movies, watch inspirational speaker, Joel Osteen, about God and Jesus that really lift my spirit each day. My grandchildren have video games and kid movies that are a real asset for us all. The variety is amazing and I'm so blessed to get all of this for 31.00$ a month. We’ve been through a lot of companies, and their service had been on and off and not working frequently. Mediacom seems to be giving us good phone and internet service. We’ve had it for just about a year, and I haven’t had any problems with them yet. Reaching out to them was simple, and they didn’t do any installation. They just hooked up the router and sent it to us. The price we pay for service is fair. We’re satisfied with them so far.

We have been having trouble with our internet connection for 2 weekends in a roll. We have done all the trouble shooting and had no luck. Everyone around us, their cable is working. We just have the internet package. Not sure what to do with this issue. We are only here on the weekends.

I’ve had Mediacom for probably two years now. The service was good, but it seems like there were quite a few times when I’d get texts saying there were issues in the neighborhood and the service was going to be down for a while. Then, it would eventually be back up.

Mediacom has a monopoly where I live. When I moved here 10 years ago, they're the only ones here. AT&T has gotten the green light to bring in fiber optics, but that's been two years now that I've been waiting. But yeah, they literally have nobody else. The little towns next to us have different kinds of cable companies, but here, we have no alternatives. I didn't want to go with any kind of satellite because of hurricanes. Mediacom was the only one that had underground utilities also when I got here.
As long as I've had them, I have kind of a love-hate relationship with them. Once I just went to the Internet, then I no longer had their cable service. It was still pretty good until this month. I've had more daily outages and I don't have the internet. I called them, because I had noticed my bill went up and my TV would lag. When they were talking, the mouth was moving, and then I'd hear the sounds later. Or it would be the talking, then it would freeze. I'm peeved at them right now.
The first technician couldn't take care of the problem, so he said he had to go to a different department. I don't know if they've been out and it's just underwater again, but I found out they moved my connection two doors down. I have a tower in my yard that is connected to the road, but they took me from there and they put me two doors down. They were supposed to send another tech out.
My high speed Internet service costs $116 a month. I was on a special plan used to pay $90 which is the highest tier they have for gamers. The representative said that they're no longer giving that special, but I could downgrade my service and get two eero devices to better coverage output. I know that it'll lower my payment to $100, but then my service will go down because I won't be in the top tier plan. I don’t think two eero devices mean I'm going to get good service. I will still just be paying for a crappy service.
I have a smart home, and I love it. My alarm system, my TVs, and the dehumidifier are all hooked up to smart plug-ins. My lights depend on the Internet. When I go to bed, I’m comfortable. If I don't have internet, it sounds frivolous, but dear God, I go to get up and turn off the light. My AC is also hooked up to the Internet, so when that goes off, then I can't regulate my AC.
Their customer service is a hit and miss. Sometimes the representative has a very thick accent. I have bad hearing so I have to tell them that they're talking too fast. I don't mean to be mean, but I just can't understand them. A lot of times that I get really exasperated because they don't slow down talking, I will tell them, “Sweetheart, I'm sorry but I've got to call back because we're just wasting each other's time.” So, I'll just hang up and call back to hopefully get somebody else. But often, there's not enough that they can do for me.
I used to tell my friends to go with Mediacom because every time there is a hurricane, I never had an outage with my Internet. Whatever Mediacom is doing now, they should stop the bullshit.

My wife talked me into getting Mediacom. Since the other service provider in our town, we only have two, were not doing any work on our street to put cable lines, we decided to go for Mediacom. Their customer service was nice. I am satisfied with what I have right now. We use it for both TV and internet, and the internet is high speed.

Every time I try to log on to the web page I put in everything it says password wrong. I do another password, set everything, go to log in and it still won't work. Very frustrating that I give up and have to call the 1 800 number to see how much my bill is. b

While paying top dollar, I am not getting the service I pay for.... I have a customer for many many years.. Bill is always paid.. Never late with bill payment... So why is my service so bad... About ready to change to a different provider.... With them many outages and super slow internet speed.. P/s I only use internet and my computer is a new model.. Ever since I changed to paperless billing, every bill is wrong. Each bill always says I have an unpaid balance. I call and talk to a customer service representative and they are very polite. They put a credit on my account, but the next time I get a bill it still says unpaid balance. It is like your online billing doesn't pay attention to what the representative does. How can there be an unpaid balance when you withdraw it directly from my bank account? It doesn't make sense and I get tired of having to call you each month.

Mediacom used to have all the sports games. But, I'm disappointed now that they do not have Twins. Things are changing. Still, they have plenty of channels to choose from. Their customer service is polite and will answer back or send a message that they got the check when I do the payments. I never had any problems with them. However, the monthly charge seems to keep going up. I liked it better when it was just 120 bucks. But it's getting up there now at 200 bucks for a fixed income 80-year-old.

I switched to Mediacom when CBS went off of DirecTV. And I also just got cable through Mediacom. I have Showtime, Paramount, and NFL All Access. My set is from ’03, and I think their cost is too much.

Mediacom has always been a go-to for this area. When I moved back here, I decided to go back with with them ‘cause I’ve never had problems in the past. The price is perfect and spot-on. Overall, their service has been great but I hope they went out a little bit further out into rural areas.

Overall I am pleased with Mediacom. The prices are a bit high, but we are in a rural area so I understand that delivery costs can be high. Reliability (uptime) is my top priority. I've had service for many years and have seen uptime cycle over the years. Currently, uptime is improving. There are still times when service interruptions are too frequent but the trend seems to be improving.

Our service kept going out for over a month. Technician could not fix it, and they never sent a lineman to check the signal which is what I was told the problem was. I finally cancelled Mediacom all together. Now I am waiting on my refund. I have never been so unhappy...

It seems that there are issues between the Mediacom servers and Apple Mail. Every day I get a warning that Mail cannot communicate with the Mediacom server. It happens multiple times a day. Even when it does communicate, it's slow to download the mail. I have tried all the usual troubleshooting. I've reloaded the Mail app, deleted it. Set it back up again. Spoken with Apple numerous times. Nothing seems to work. Got any idea why this is so troublesome?

Service was greatly improved after the service call yesterday. Internet was much faster. It was out 5 times on Tuesday & 4 times on Wednesday. It was good after service call yesterday. And now out again 2 times this morning & again this afternoon. Very frustrating to pay for service which isn't great. Can't use my house phone either when it is out..

MY Account services for TV for suspended/deactivated for change in the Box device on TV. The service was terminated In January 2025 and Mediacom is still billing us and has collected the payments for the months of January, February, March and April through the ACH. I have requested for the Refunds and no response has been delivered.

Technician was highly knowledgeable, accurate and timely in installing our internet services. Assisted in setting up all devices to communicate with wi-fi. He had an excellent personality and is an asset to you company. Internet appears to be working properly. Also we are saving money compared to our cost for previous internet services from Mediacom.

When my house was built several years ago the main connection was on a pole across the street. I requested they go under the street and connect to my house. After several breaks in the cable because it was over the street and large vehicle break it. Then they connected to a pole above the house and run the cable under ground around the back of the house. Every time the neighbor wants a telephone of Socket company line to their house the cable gets cut again. I went to the local office and a lady said a technician would contact me. That was almost a month ago and the cable is still laying on the ground and no one has bothered to contact me.

I had no significant bad experiences. I was a cable and internet customer in Waterloo, IA for about 7 years, then internet only as I switched to YouTube TV. About a year later I moved to Carroll, IA and took my internet service with me. I had an issue with the modem I brought from Waterloo.....It was eventually replaced and I had no problems after. I ended service due to building I live in changing to DirecTV for some of the residents which was incompatible with Mediacom on the co-ax cable system. My biggest issue with Mediacom is pricing.....and the predatory raise in rates. I probably would have left after the next rate increase if I had my choice.

Lost internet and service tech had hard time getting it back up. Still have problem with internet that keeps thinking on TV shows. Which I should have 1 gig and shouldn't have that trouble. You can get rid of that auto phone. It was hard to get a real person. Took about 4 phone calls.

My prior WiFi combo got damaged during a storm having to buy a new one. After installing the router I had to call Mediacom to connect the new personal Wi-Fi router combo. The wait to connect wasn't long. The person that answer was very helpful and quick to resolve my situation and get connected again.

The technician was on-time, explaining what was to be completed on the outside and inside of the home. After completion the technician reviewed the system and verified the signal was working properly. The technician represented the company in a professional manner answering all our questions. I have had 3 techs come out to see look at my wifi to try to fix it. Not until the 3rd one I found more information about what’s going on and what to fix. I am mad at you guys! I had to explain my story each time to each person that came to REPORTS not being SEEN LIKE WHAT THE HELL! I am over you guys! When it came to FIXING the problem it was a mess and I am mad. The 3 techs were VERY nice. I give them 5 stars but to the WHOLE thing of 7 days of NO INTERNET! YOU get 2 stars.

When cable was hooked up guy unhooked other cables in brand new A/V box so he could figure out which room was the one we wanted modem in. Never hooked them back up so we had to call A/V guys back out to figure out why our attic antenna wasn't working. Cost us $65. Also took them 33-35 days to bury the cable. Service left much to be desired.

Hurricane Helene hit this area in September, 2024. Afterward, I was without power for a period of time. I began reporting internet problems to Mediacom in December, 2024. I had many issues, and called many times. It does appear now, in early May, 2025, the problem has finally been resolved. I have no idea why it took more than four months to make the repairs, and I have no idea what was causing the problem. It has been very frustrating.

Requested going back on vacation rate, but was told it’s possible only once a year. Received a lower monthly rate by reducing speed of the internet, since I will not be using it for the next 5 or 6 months. I will be saving about one third of the monthly fee. Not the best deal, but not the worst…. I wish it would be possible to renew a vacation rate in the same year.

I had a problem with my whole home cable box, it died. Called Mediacom, they scheduled a tech but didn't order a new box. The tech showed up and he ordered a new box and reset the appointment. When the box showed up, the tech was here the next day all good. But the new box doesn't record well and stalls/pauses its recordings. But he told me that Mediacom is not going to support DVR in the future, only IP boxes. We watch the majority of our programming recorded and not live. Sounds like I'll have to change providers in the future.

Sorry, I have forgotten his name since I've been a couple weeks ago and he came. He was the most thorough person I've had in all the many Mediacom cable TV problems I've had. He was even checking the one wall where no one had ever checked before. He eliminated a double Spicer, where only a single one was stated. Bottom line, Windsor Oaks, Ames, Iowa needs to get all new wiring system since this building is 25 years old and we have had constant problems galore.

I was able to switch Internet plans without a big hassle and I'm up and running. My new plan is working out fine and my updated bill looks to be correct. I did not require all the data that came with the unlimited plan so the 300 plan is perfect.

I cancelled service with a competitor in order to switch to Mediacom on 3/31. A line needed to be dropped and buried. I was told it would take 2 weeks but it's still not done. In subsequent phone calls to customer service I was informed of a day it would be completed multiple times and it is still not done. This began 6 weeks ago. I regret switching services at this point.

Since moving in to our new home we have experienced, daily interrupting of our TV broadcasts with "Loading". Some are brief and others longer. When we called Mediacom, we were told it was an outage. It still happens daily. Not good service! We expect for $200+ per month to enjoy our TV. We hope you will look into this problem and get it corrected. My bill is over 300 a month, I was told that its was $100 and something when I signed up. This seems too high. I know I have extra boxes but the equipment rental seems high. I was with Comcast for years and my bill was around $275 a month.

2 days after my service was disconnected, I received my monthly statement by email as usual and it included a $733 charge. (I had returned the equipment 2 days before.) Because I had auto pay, this was very upsetting! I'm just glad I don't need service from Mediacom any longer.

No internet. I have 2 Eeros. They are fighting each other and I am not able to sync my specific devices to a specific channel because they are supposedly "smart". Continued dropped internet constantly. Service tech's fix was to unplug the one in garage but that didn't work. They didn't know what to do or provide a fix for my continued problem. I did this at the office in Huntsville. First level customer support can very rarely fix what I need fixed and once they start transferring me up the line it just gets worse. The lady at the Mediacom office got everything straightened out including what my billing was supposed to be. Customer support on the phone always promises me one thing and it never happens.

We used to be happy with our Mediacom internet service, but for the past 2 or 3 months, our service is constantly disrupted. It is usually restored quickly, but it happens several times per day. We have seen Mediacom vans in our neighborhood but it seems that the issue doesn't get resolved. We have two people in our house who work from home and this has been very disruptive.

When logging into my account, I kept getting messages that there was a problem with my autopay, however the payment method was working. This persistent incorrect messaging caused me to over pay my account. The representative was great, and fixed the issue, but I'm not sure why this was happening to begin with.

Nothing has happened yet and we received a letter stating that it had. There was to be new line from the box to the house. Then come back out and run new line inside. All that was done is they took off something at the post to help with the buffering and streaming. Very disappointed when I called and was told that they didn’t have any update for me.

Internet-wise, everything’s working great and we’re enjoying it. We had an issue with the tech service when he drilled a hole into our electrical thing, and we lost electricity. But I went and signed the release yesterday, got a check, and we’ll have everything that was ruined fixed and replaced. Two weeks after our cable was installed, we haven’t been able to watch TV for more than five minutes. We can watch Roku using the internet and it’s fine, but as soon as we put it on the box, we’re not even able to watch the news. I shouldn't have to pay the bill since we haven’t been using the cable, and hopefully, they can come and fix it soon.

Mediacom had the fastest internet around and I didn’t want anybody digging in my yard. But sometimes it isn't the fastest. I’d be streaming a movie on one TV, and it would buffer a lot. If it's the only thing streaming, it shouldn’t be buffering at all. But the service has been good.

I’ve had a good experience with Mediacom Cable so far. I haven’t had any issues with them. Customer service is good, and they explain everything clearly through calls and texts. They’re clear about what things are and what they do. They answer all my questions specifically and don’t sugarcoat anything.
One thing, though. They added a tech adviser service that I thought was required, so I’d been paying for that for a couple of months. I didn’t realize I could remove it until later, so I felt a little bit screwed. Otherwise, everything’s been good for the cost.

It was back and forth. Because for quite some time, it just seemed like our system was always down, and they gave us information about it had to do with the weather. When the heat's bad, we have a lot more trouble with our internet and our television programming. They said that's common. It was frustrating at the start of it. But it seems like, in the last year, it's kind of come together and balanced out. The technicians who have come out, they were pretty good. They were pretty thorough about checking every area, because I think we got three setups of it. And they would try to walk me through it so that I could sometimes troubleshoot myself. Because when it comes time, they always wanna troubleshoot on the phone first, I felt like I might be frustrated because I could not understand what plugs I needed to pull, and this and that. But for the most part, they're really good at fixing it once they do get out there.

The signup experience was fine and I've had good customer service from Mediacom so far. When they came in for the installation, they couldn't bury the wire because the ground was frozen. But they came back and did it. They buried the wire last weekend.

The cost is a little bit too much. I dropped my cable over a year ago because it was going to be about $250 for internet and cable, which is ridiculous and unheard of. Now, I just stream and have internet but the price keeps going up as well. I don't have a problem with the quality, though, and I've had good people when I have to call in. They're always very helpful.

Overall, my experience with Mediacom has been positive. Having been with them for years, I rely solely on their internet service. The connection quality is good although there's a drop in speed most nights, which I suspect might be due to the package I have rather than the service itself.
Getting in touch with their representatives isn't difficult, which is comforting to know for when I choose to contact them. As for their pricing, it is satisfactory with good value for what I've contracted.

I picked Mediacom Cable for my internet because I had tried other providers, and theirs seemed the most reliable. I conducted all the arrangements online, which was quite straightforward and streamlined. As for the installation, it went smoothly without any issues.
The quality of the internet has been consistently good and better than the previous providers I had used. In terms of customer service, the team handling the installation was commendable.

I like Mediacom for its consistency. Unlike AT&T or DirecTV, their bills don't spike unexpectedly. I’ve relied on their service for years and enjoy the ability to make long-distance calls without extra charges.
Recently, my phone stopped working, but a Mediacom rep resolved it with a hard reboot.

I got a reduced rate with Mediacom because I'm on food stamps and Medicaid. My first bill was unexpectedly high at $157, which almost gave me a heart attack since it was far from what we discussed. But the issue was thankfully resolved. Now, the bill is corrected to the expected amount of about $31 to $39.
When I initially called to address the billing issue, Mediacom's representatives were receptive and communicative. They handled my concern without hostility or animosity, and they were clear and concise in their explanations. I appreciate not having to resort to any confrontational exchanges; instead, our conversation was calm, positive, and proactive towards fixing the error. They respected my position and worked to resolve the issue efficiently, leaving me feeling valued as a customer.
Despite my short tenure with the company, around a couple of months, I am thus far pleased with the service, rating it a solid 4 out of 5 based on this early experience. The services I have include internet and cable, although I often use my tablet and phone for online access and have streaming set up through my own Roku device, not through Mediacom. So far, my Mediacom service has not posed any major issues, and it integrates well into my daily life mostly for watching TV.
For anyone considering Mediacom, I'd advise being attentive and ensuring that both you and the customer service representatives are clearly understood in any discussions—this transparency helps prevent misunderstandings. Always speak up if you're confused about any service terms for assured cooperation.
Overall, my experience thus far has been positive, and I hope it continues.

Now, with only one TV and one work computer actually using the Internet, the TV buffers constantly and my daughter finally had to go back into the office and can no longer work from home unless "the Internet is replaced by a reliable service". The tech was here for hours and could not find anything. He finally told me to turn off the more secure IPv6, and said to wait. All it did was make my Internet less secure. Mediacom is unreliable and the service is spotty at best. If you have other options, I'd seriously recommend NOT going with Mediacom.

Our cable box just stopped working...lights flashing on box. When I called Mediacom, I was told that meant our box was shot! Placed the order for new one, arrived next day (wow), and so did the technician who promptly and professionally replaced the box. He reset everything to our satisfaction and the cable has been working since with no further incidents.

My last bill was one hundred dollars more than the last. Not Happy. Reduce the cost by a hundred or more and I will stay with Mediacom. You will lose me as a customer otherwise. I have been a customer of Mediacom since July, 1989. My bill has gone from under $100 to over $300. I understand rates will increase and services have been added, but being retired, I am having to manage my budget more closely. Mediacom Cable is the sole provider available in my apartment complex and I've opted for their basic cable service for the past couple of years, which I find adequate, at best. My interactions with their customer service have been positive; they were quite helpful during instances of service outages and a few billing issues when my connection was initially set up.
However, I find the cost of their service to be excessively high, particularly burdensome for those on a fixed income like myself. It's frustrating that despite paying a hefty fee, I'm restricted to just basic television with no diverse station options. This lack of variety might compel me to explore alternative media options, such as streaming services.

Mediacom has been around for many years and their location is close where I can conveniently go into their office to pay my bill. I'm not keen on using computers, so the ability to pay in person fits well with my old-school preferences.
One memorable experience I had with Mediacom was when they were conducting updates in my area. I live in a building designated for individuals 55 and older, and the entire building lost service during the updates. It was impressive to see how responsive Mediacom was—they dispatched four to five trucks quickly, and the situation was promptly resolved.
Currently, I only use their Internet service, and I'm pleased with its quality. For anyone considering Mediacom, I'd say the service is quite reliable, and interruptions are rare. Overall, I'm happy with how prompt they are in addressing issues.
Without hesitation, I would recommend Mediacom to friends.

Mediacom Cable was the cheapest at the time. They were in my budget. I've been with them for a couple of years now and use their services for internet, phone, and television. During the installation process, everything was handled efficiently and left in good order, a definite plus in my book. My experience with their customer service has also been quite positive; interactions have generally been smooth and satisfactory. However, there is one issue with their promotional discounts. While Mediacom does offer promotional pricing, which is great initially, these promotions eventually expire, causing our bills to spike significantly. For instance, our costs would suddenly increase from around $93 to over $100. This requires constant attention to renew promotions or find alternatives.

I received a flyer from Mediacom offering two years of excellent Internet service at a price that matched what I was paying for poor service before. Their offer also included free cell phone service for years, which caught my attention.
Although I experienced some challenges with switching my phone service, due to my lack of familiarity in that area, Mediacom's customer support has been outstanding. The installation was seamless, thanks to a very pleasant and knowledgeable tech who got everything up and running smoothly.

Mediacom Cable has a monopoly in my area. Unless I get some dish on my roof, they got the exclusive in my area. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with their customer service; it's been consistently good whenever I had questions or concerns. The quality of the Internet service itself is also commendable. However, the cost for their full cable package was steep, around $300 a month, which led us to cancel our TV service and stick exclusively with the internet. Despite that, Mediacom was considerate enough to provide a discounted rate on my service. This adjustment was helpful, especially since I've retired and am undergoing cancer treatments. While I would love to have cable TV back, the prices need to be more affordable for me to consider it again.

Had two boxes installed on two different days. Both times, the technician was prompt, friendly and professional. Both televisions have been working fine since the box installation. Frank, in the office, was helpful when I was in the office originally and described our issue. Biggest problem was that second box wasn't delivered in time for technician to install both on the same day, so had to talk to Frank a second time to re-order.

Throughout my 30 years with Mediacom, I've generally appreciated both their customer service and the quality of their service. The employees I’ve interacted with have typically been friendly and helpful, so I would rate their customer service at a 5.
However, my main concern has been the rising costs, particularly since there haven't been any promotional offers recently that cater to my age group. This lack of promotions is making it difficult for me to afford their services as I once used both the internet and cable TV, but had to drop the phone due to budget constraints. Presently, paying nearly $300 for just internet and cable TV without promotions is a financial strain, and I'm aware that others pay less.
While I recognize Mediacom isn’t entirely responsible for these price increases, the rising costs from networks like ABC and CBS, which they've cited as reasons, are making me reconsider my loyalty. Overall, due to the excellent service balanced against the high price, I would rate my experience somewhere between 4 and 5 stars, leaning on the promotions as the deciding factor.

I spoke to a live representative on each of the two calls I made to Mediacom. Both of them helped me quickly and courteously. They did not make me feel inferior for needing the help and not doing the procedure online. The new equipment was sent to me quickly and with instructions to return the old ones. I do recommend mediacom for both their reliable internet service and now for their customer service.

When we signed up, Mediacom was the sole provider available for TV services in our town. Currently, we use both their TV and internet services and I'm pleased to say the quality is generally good. We rarely experience internet outages, which is a significant advantage compared to other providers like AT&T, where outages are more common. When we returned from Florida, we encountered a snag with our television service as we couldn't access the channels we had. Mediacom was quick to offer a solution, providing a new box. However, the new box lacked the recording function we value since we enjoy recording shows to watch later. We prefer having the option to record rather than just streaming.
Over the years, we've briefly tried alternatives like DISH and DIRECTV, but Mediacom remains our preferred choice. One of the main reasons is that it's not affected by weather conditions as satellite services can be. Also, getting in touch with a Mediacom representative is fairly straightforward. The AI system is efficient; you merely state your issue or request to speak to a representative, and you're swiftly connected to a live person.

When I first moved down to the area, I Googled it and Mediacom had the best rates at the time. So, I signed up with them. Currently, while their pricing is budget-friendly, my internet connection has been less reliable than I expected. I've faced issues with my desktop disconnecting from WiFi, making it difficult to attend important Zoom meetings and training sessions. Despite my challenges, I find it quite easy to reach a customer service representative. Whenever needed, I simply Google their number and say "representative" when prompted. Mediacom's customer service is responsive, and previous calls have been addressed quickly.

A lightning storm took-out our power supply to our router and to an eero supplied extender. The nearest Mediacom representative at 2502 Schillinger Road South, Mobile, AL cheerfully replaced the components and we are now back in service (as evidenced by this report). There was (1) no need to schedule a technician to come out to our home to make the repair and as a result (2) no material delay in service.

Started a process to try and get our condo association a bulk account. Started out with a rep that was very responsive and understood the needs and issues with our property. Changed reps midway through. This rep's communication was very poor and extra slow. Owners kept asking me the status of this deal as some of them are looking at other options. In the end, everything that I understood would happen did not. Rep did not follow up with a question I had about the last email sent.
Now our property will have to go with Imon fiber. They ask for a minimum amount of units before they will run fiber all over our property. As of now only Mediacom has access. Due to mediacom's inability to work out a deal, mediacom will probably be shut out of our property as we intend to go with Imon for a stable price for internet, something our owners complained about with mediacom. Very disappointed with this experience. Doubt filling this out will make a difference. But, going with Imon will make a huge headache for me as I am the president of the association and will have to deal with fiber run all over the place. I tried to give mediacom guaranteed business.

Technician was courteous, knew his job well. He was able to get my internet up and running within a short amount of time. We talked about the Xumo equipment that I previously had but I had just moved and the unit was missing. One of the movers found it among the many packing boxes.

I took the plunge with Mediacom Cable back in 2005, mainly because I've always lived in Des Moines and it's been my go-to choice over dish or DirecTV satellite services. Interacting with Mediacom has been a breeze. It's straightforward and hassle-free whenever I need to contact them. Currently, I'm subscribed to their internet services, and I would say the quality is quite satisfactory.
My family and I use Mediacom for various everyday activities, primarily on our TV and phones. My boys enjoy gaming with the service, while we mostly use it for our smart TV. Fortunately, we've never encountered any issues using the service, even during storms, which I particularly appreciate since there aren't many internet outages.
Overall, I've had a very positive experience with Mediacom. They're reliable, and I'd happily recommend them.

I returned our modem and 2 eero boxes on Monday, March 31, 2025. The office did not open at 8 a.m. as it is supposed to. I had other commitments so left the equipment with a technician who was in the office with a note written on the box for the office administrator asking her to accept the return when she arrived. I never heard from her and have tried calling and e-mailing but cannot get through to her. I called Mediacom as well and so far have hear nothing from them either. I am very disappointed with this service and don't want to be charged for the equipment that I returned.

Called Customer Service after receiving an email advertising Blossoms with Advanced WiFi (eero) for a 3 month free trial and $10 per month after that. When I spoke with Customer Service, they knew nothing about it and put me on hold for several minutes when I had to attend a Dr, appointment. Would appreciate a phone response.

Mediacom responded immediately to look at damage. I needed to repair house siding where wire was attached before they could fix the wire. Mediacom came back immediately after I had the siding repaired to fix the downed wire. The work was done quickly and neatly. I appreciated the prompt service.

Apparently I had a Mediacom box that needed to be returned in order for one of the recurring charges be removed. I took the box back and the agent that took it back was very polite and respectful. My only complaint about the Mediacom cable service is the high price. I only stay with Mediacom because I have very few outages and it’s reliable. I left Mediacom cable because the prices were getting out of hand, AND they did away with DVR/Tivo. I can’t say I haven’t looked for a better deal with pricing.

I am very pleased with Mediacom's service and helping me setup my wireless cable boxes. The technician was here promptly to add our living room wireless cable box and he did it incredibly fast. We have had Mediacom for a long time and the biggest part of it for us is customer service and the overall quality of Mediacom's cable, internet and phone services. I am proud to say Mediacom is the best cable company we have ever dealt with and we love everything about them.

I called the Customer service number, to add ESPN, THE YOUNG LADY was very professional and pleasant. She advised me that it would add $40.00, however when the bill came in I immediately knew that I had gotten bad info. The second time I called was due to I had no internet nor wifi for 4 days, the tech who came the next day was also very professional and pleasant. He was able to correct the problem and installed a different modem. He also the old modem so that I didn't mail in back. I use BLINK SECURITY system and have been WITHOUT my system, it uses WIFI.

We love the internet speed and quality! The cable is great and we are fissuring out the streaming. I would recommend Mediacom highly! It is so much better than DIRECTV, which we had previously. Thank you for bringing Mediacom to our small rural area! Previously we did not have good internet service except through Verizon Jetpack.

Have not had problems with Mediacom. Satisfied so far, TV service was great as well, left the TV because of cost. Tried to get representative to give better deal but to no success, So just kept internet and land phone. Mediacom TV is very clear and has good programing. Too bad it has gotten so expensive.

I was very pleased that Mediacom has finally changed the pricing for us much older people who do not use all the options that are available. We don't stream or game online except for a few card games. The new monthly pricing is much better. Thanks for keeping us older folks in mind.

I just called and the CSR was great. Helped reset this stuff I don't understand then it all worked again. Had to redo cable connect and unplug then reconnect and it all came back and worked. Hooray. Getting my Mediacom working again was good.

The line that is coming off the pole that I reported 2 weeks ago has not been fixed. The line is flapping around the pole. The pole is located between my house and the neighbor's house. I pay for the internet and the phone bundle every month, but the internet is not quite as I thought it was gonna be. A pop-up about the connection comes on in the middle of my Facebook live, and I have to keep hitting the X button to keep from freezing up. That’s annoying.
I’ve reported this on two or three occasions, and technicians have come out. They sent one guy who said to plug this thing into my laptop to help with the live. I tried that, and it didn't work.
I've been going live for about three years, and every time I do, that technical piece of the internet is not delivering like it should for the speed Mediacom offers as top-of-the-line services. I don't go as frequently as I need to, but that's my battle.

I love the quality of the internet provided by Mediacom. Their representative was great. She provided me with the information that I needed without taking too much time. I have never had a problem. When there was an outage, I called them. They were very friendly and took care of it. The only downside is that I don’t like talking to a machine when calling.

We had Mediacom once before, but I let it go because the cost was too high. I then went to another provider. I came back to Mediacom because where I moved, the other provider didn’t offer what I had. I’ve been having them for my internet for a while. Customer service has been fine when I call, but it’s just too expensive.

My nephew suggested Mediacom for us because I didn’t have good phone service in my house and my internet was so expensive. He said that Mediacom was cheaper and that he really liked his service. It was fast-speed and his cable didn’t go down. We have two eeros, two Wi-Fi extenders that come with the package. I just have the internet. The sales team was very pleasant and the installation was excellent. I was pleased. The only issue I have is the cost. We are paying $69 even though we got an offer in the mail for $29.99. Mediacom said that wasn’t for our area, and that what we have was the best deal at the time. Other than that, we’ve not had any issues, and I would recommend them.

I went to Mediacom Cable because I couldn’t use the same service that I had before, and it was the cheapest. The internet and services are good. There are some times where it will go out from time to time, but as soon as I reset the modem, it’s perfectly fine. There was one time that I had an issue with the internet, but I’m pretty sure it was just because of the weather, and they couldn’t really do anything about it. Their app is also super simple to use.

Right now, I'm not getting good service with Mediacom at all. My TV gets interrupted and my internet goes off. I'll be watching a program on cable, and all of a sudden it will go off and say I don't have that service, but I do. I'm planning on dropping my cable anyway because I don't watch much, and it’s gonna be going up to $200. I only get $850 a month, and I can't afford it. I'm keeping it for right now because I just paid it.
I don't have any problems with customer service. They handle things well. The young man who came out and tried to get my internet right said he can't do it because I'm in an apartment complex and they're not allowed to go up into the attic. So, I have to contact them. I just haven't yet.

I've told people that Mediacom is a good company. My daughter used to have it, so I went from that, and I was satisfied with just the regular channels.
The customer service was good. They came out and were good when they hooked everything up. When I complained about not getting regular channels, another guy came out and brought another box, but I'm a little disappointed because I started paying $68, and now it's $127, double the amount. I did not want it to be that much. I get different channels, but it doesn’t seem like the same.
I'm almost considering switching to something else because I can't really afford that. I'm on Social Security disability, so it’s a limited income for me. I was happy with everything in the beginning, then the price just kept going up. They also kept saying something about me going over the limit. I almost wanna resort to the antenna TV in my bedroom, but I don't wanna drop Mediacom. I’m gonna have to cancel, though, if there’s no better arrangement than $127.

I have Mediacom for my TV. Their salesteam was fine. They did a great job. The installation was easy and it went fast. It’s been working fine. The price is a little high. I go to their website once in a while but I don't find it that easy to navigate.

I got a flyer in the mail from Mediacom and thought the pricing and servicing was good. The sales representative was really nice. He explained everything well to me. He took his time, went through the pricing and what you get with the service. He offered me the specials and everything to come with it. The internet is perfect. It runs fast. Mediacom was recommended by our Realtor and it was the only available internet that was wired. They came out and installed it within one or two days of us calling, so they were quick. I only have internet which I use for streaming, surfing, and email, and it’s been good. The only issue I had was connecting smart devices, but I troubleshot that and figured it out between the 5 gigahertz and 2.4 gigahertz bandwidths, having to turn one off to be able to connect to the 2.4. Nothing Google and YouTube couldn't figure out.

Mediacom was available in my area, it’s good internet and they stopped doing data caps. When internet companies sell it by data packages and not unlimited, I avoid those. My fiancé was here when they installed it, he said it went relatively smooth and they were quick. I'm not sure if it was Mediacom but our PlayStations wouldn't connect to the internet. But after I called them, it worked just fine.

I went with Mediacom because they’re easier to work. I’m not great with computers and TVs. I got cable and internet. The installation was good. They came promptly, set it up, and explained everything. But Mediacom could do better with their pricing.

Mediacom is the only service offered in the area. I purchased it because I got a good deal at their expo. I’ve been using their internet service for about a year and I find it very easy. The quality of their internet service was very good, sometimes I use it for work and streaming TV.

I have been a Mediacom customer for 26 years, relying on their internet service. Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality and cost of their service. A couple of months ago, they sent me a device called Eero, but I haven't figured out how to install it yet. However, I plan to contact Mediacom to help me set it up.
I've rarely had problems with my internet, and when there are outages, they affect the whole neighborhood. Their customer service has been responsive, confirming outages when I call in.
Mediacom has consistently provided good service, and aside from the new Eero device, I haven't encountered any significant issues. I would rate my experience with Mediacom a 5 out of 5 and would recommend their service to others.

Mediacom is more affordable than my previous service and didn't require a contract. I currently use their internet service, as I rely on my smart TV for entertainment. The quality has been excellent, especially compared to my previous provider, where streaming was constantly interrupted by buffering. Installation was a smooth process. I actually knew the technician, which made it even more comfortable.
Over time, my bill fluctuated, but when I reached out to customer support, they were incredibly helpful. I explained my situation, as my sister, who I help support, lives at the service location. They offered assistance by providing a link, and now the bill is reduced to $29.99 a month, which is a considerable help. The customer service representative was attentive and resourceful, making the whole experience positive.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with Mediacom's service quality and customer support.

I've lived in an area where Mediacom is one of the few providers available, so my decision to use their services was primarily driven by limited options. I've been a customer for quite a long time now.
Currently, I only use their internet service; previously, I subscribed to more of their offerings. The quality of the internet service is adequate, but I decided to downgrade because the cost was becoming too steep, and I realized I didn't need the highest tier available. We aren't at home frequently, so simpler internet service suffices.
Overall, I don't have major complaints about the service quality itself, but the pricing is quite high.

I've been a customer of Mediacom for several years, though I can't quite recall how I first came across their services—likely through advertising. The customer service stands out as excellent, and the field technicians have been great whenever they've had to come out for service calls. The only downside is the monthly cost, which I find quite steep compared to other providers. However, due to the wiring setup in my old building, I'm currently limited to Mediacom for my internet and cable services. In terms of service quality, both the internet and cable have been reliable. The cable offers a good variety of channels, and both the TV and internet function well in my home.

I have been using Mediacom for my internet cable service, primarily due to the immediate need for service without having much time to explore other options. However, I've found their service to be quite costly. Last month, my bill was nearly $65, which is more than I can justify. I've considered shopping around for more affordable options.
In terms of service quality, it has been satisfactory. I primarily use it on one computer and only for a few hours since I'm usually at the office. I haven't encountered any problems with the speed or effectiveness in my limited use.
Customer service interactions have been satisfactory, with no issues there either. However, the pricing significantly influences my overall satisfaction. If I were to rate them, I would probably give them a 3 out of 5, indicating I'm satisfied with the service but have reservations primarily due to the cost.

I've been a long-time customer of Mediacom for about 25-30 years, ever since they first started providing services in our area. Over the years, whenever I've had reasons to call them, my experiences have been excellent. For instance, about a month ago, we had an issue with squiggly lines on the TV screen. Mediacom responded quickly, and although it turned out to be a problem with the transformer box outside, they were prompt and thorough in their check-up, calling to ensure everything was resolved. Also, we recently updated our older TV boxes to new ones. I solely use their TV service, and the quality has been consistently satisfying. The picture is bright and clear, and the convenience of easily switching channels enhances our usage.

I decided to choose Mediacom after some friends of mine recommended it. I've had their service for about two years now, and I currently use their Internet. My interactions with Mediacom's customer service have always been positive; they have been very nice. I chose Mediacom Cable because of their good service. The internet speed is consistently reliable, and overall, I'm satisfied with the performance. Mediacom is the sole provider for what I need in my area, so I don't have alternate options. Generally, I find the service to be satisfactory, though there are occasions where it's not the best. When it comes to customer service, they've been very responsive and I have always been treated well. Overall, while the actual service is getting better, I would say my experience with both the service and the customer support has been positive.

I have been a Mediacom customer on and off for about 30 years. Initially, I tried another provider for about six months but switched back to Mediacom due to its decent coverage, which remains the only viable option in my area. While the service, including Internet and cable, is generally good, I'm disappointed with the price increase over the years—from $36 a month when I started to $258 currently.
The internet quality is excellent and serves my needs for watching TV, including sports like football and hockey. Customer support is also satisfactory, as I haven't encountered significant issues when reaching representatives for assistance. If you wanna have a good TV service, don't monkey around trying to piece things together to have a TV set where you gotta have 15 remotes in your house to watch TV.

I have been using Mediacom for my Wi-Fi service for about two, maybe three years now. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the service. The connectivity is generally great, and I haven't experienced issues with lagging or the connection cutting out. There have been instances when the service was out, but this usually occurred during scheduled maintenance or work in my area, which is Clive. Mediacom typically informs me ahead of time, so I'm aware of any upcoming interruptions. I haven't needed a technician to come out to my home.

I have Mediacom's internet and cable service, and it's good. Occasionally, the service would go out, but when I call, they take care of it. However, I don't like how they increase their prices so often. We're on a fixed income, but the cost goes up sometimes two or three times a year. I've called and asked why it's going up but I've gotten the same generic answer every time so I gave up on asking. They wouldn't check what they could do.
They have no programs for senior citizens either. I've asked a few times and it's always no. There was one time they told me about a program that the government was offering where they get a discount on Wi-Fi. I tried that, but they told me I didn't qualify for it. They told me it's because of the zip code I'm living in. I was a long-term customer with Dish Network and went on my son's advice to try Mediacom. Dish was different in that they considered my age and would help me. It's totally opposite with Mediacom. Mediacom has to be considerate of their customers. I hate to stop the service that's why I'm hanging in there as long as I can.

I have cable and internet with Mediacom and I wonder how high the bill can go. I'm so sick of these high prices. I brought it down $120 and I've got two bills. Now, it's going up another $100 again. I’m not crazy about the quality of the cable stations. In the last few days, lines have been going through the picture. People should try to get by without the cable. There are other services and I toyed with switching to Metronet, but they didn't offer all the services and cable that I get from Mediacom. I record a lot of things so that I can watch it at my convenience and that was not possible with Metronet.

I've been with Mediacom forever and the internet service is good. Except sometimes when it gets cloudy, it's buffering. For instance, it did good during the snow that we had about a week ago. But when it got cloudy and was thundering, it buffered, then it went out. But it soon came back on. Some of my friends have AT&T and I told them I have Mediacom. And sometimes, they experience worse than myself. In the area where we are, if they're going to have AT&T, they really can't get online like I can because they have a problem with so many online with AT&T. So I tell them that maybe they need to change to Mediacom because I don't have all that going on all the time.

Our options are very limited in our area and when we were not happy with one provider, we switched to Mediacom. But we're not happy with them either and now we're stuck. We have their internet service and it's glitchy. It goes down several times a day, every day, and it's something we live with. It's not just us. It's everybody in our neighborhood. They have horrible service out here plus it's expensive.

I live in an apartment building where Mediacom is the only available option, so that's how I first heard about them—everyone here uses their services. I'm currently using Mediacom for Wi-Fi. The service quality has been pretty easy to use. I appreciate that there's an app for tracking everything, and the technician who set it up was very friendly and helpful.
I frequently use Mediacom for everyday activities like watching shows on Netflix, sending emails, and making work-related calls on my computer. If I were to rate Mediacom, I would probably give them a 5. They're pretty efficient, and it's easy to access help. When I was setting up my account, I had a great experience with their customer service, as they patiently walked me through the process and answered all my questions.

I initially opted for Mediacom after hearing positive feedback from several neighbors, particularly due to our dissatisfaction with AT&T. My experience with Mediacom has been very good overall. Their customer service is outstanding, the staff is helpful, and reliability is commendable though not flawless. When we had an issue with a wire, a Mediacom service technician assisted us professionally even when the local outlet was closed for the holidays, which was impressive.
Currently, we use Mediacom for both telephone and internet services. The phone service quality is generally good, and the internet performs well, especially considering our rural location. There are occasional outages that vary in duration, from just 10 minutes to as long as 8 or 9 hours. We usually contact Mediacom for outages exceeding an hour to confirm whether it's a general issue. We consistently use their services for everyday activities, including connecting five computers for constant phone use and frequent internet access. In general, our satisfaction with Mediacom is high, and I would share our positive experiences with friends and family.

I recently moved into a new place and, as a single parent, I searched for a reliable internet service provider and chose Mediacom. So far, the experience has been really positive. There have been one or two outages, but Mediacom resolved them quickly. This is important to me as I'm an avid gamer and stream games often, so having a stable and fast internet connection is crucial. Additionally, Mediacom provided me with a complimentary device called the Bolt, which offers TV and other features.

My experience with Mediacom has been quite frustrating. Despite being a long-time customer who always paid on time, I found their customer service lacking when I needed help due to financial constraints. I contacted Mediacom to request a reduction in my bill since I am on a fixed income, but they offered no assistance. Although I continued using their Wi-Fi service, I had to let go of other services because I couldn't afford them.
In terms of customer service, the representatives were polite, but their inability to assist further or escalate my issue to a supervisor was disappointing. They gave the impression that even a supervisor wouldn't make a difference in my case. Although the technicians were prompt during service calls, I frequently encountered issues with the service, such as unclear signals, yet rarely received compensation. At most, they would deduct $10, which was not very helpful given the persistent problems.
Overall, my experience has been negative, and I wouldn't recommend Mediacom based on my interactions and their service quality.

I use Mediacom for television, internet, and a landline because they're the only provider in my area. Unfortunately, their prices have become incredibly high, surpassing all of my other utility bills combined. The TV channels offered are subpar, and we can't afford any premium options. Although their internet is generally reliable, being the only service provider seems to make them less customer-focused. I've contacted them recently due to internet issues and ended up renting a router. Their technicians are polite, but getting assistance is challenging. I ended up setting up the router myself. While I'm satisfied with the service, the increasing prices are concerning.

I recently had a great experience with Mediacom cable. They've always been extremely accommodating with me. There was a time when my bill was due on the 11th, but I called them around the 20th or 21st. I explained that I'd have the money available in two days, provided them with the card details, and Mediacom set up arrangements to process the payment. They were very patient, explaining everything clearly, and ensured me that they wouldn't use the card without my permission for future transactions. They also informed me about setting up automatic payments online, but I prefer handling payments through my card or paying directly at Hy-Vee. As for the service itself, both my cable and Internet work perfectly. I don’t watch a lot of channels, but everything seems to operate smoothly, and my internet connection supports everything I need for my phone.

We've been with Mediacom for years. Their rates are comparable to other places, and I feel like I can trust them. My experience with their internet and cable service has been good overall. The only significant issue we encountered was during recent weather disruptions, which caused a temporary internet outage. Other than that, the service is usually reliable.
When I have questions or concerns, I typically text Molly, who tries to resolve the issue. If she can't, she connects me to a rep. The customer service team is very nice and goes above and beyond to resolve any problems. They provide easy steps to follow, which usually fix the issue.

I've been a Mediacom customer since 2000, right after moving from Orange County to Lake County. Initially, we subscribed to all their services—cable, phone, and internet. However, two years ago, we switched entirely to streaming because Mediacom couldn't offer discounts on cable packages for loyal customers like us.
Currently, our sole service with them is the Internet. When it works, the quality is great, but we've had significant issues with outages, particularly in October and November. This led to widespread frustration among Mediacom users in our area, with many considering alternatives like Starlink. The outages were linked to a problematic new software update, as mentioned by a technician on social media.
Although the internet speeds are good when functional, the frequent outages have made it hard to trust Mediacom. If there was another provider offering 5G here, I would switch immediately. Overall, I would rate my experience with Mediacom a 2 out of 5.

I've been using Mediacom primarily because it's popular where I reside in Hidden Valley, and many locals recommended it through word of mouth. My experience with Mediacom has been somewhat mixed. Recently, the internet has been a bit slow and spotty at times. For instance, even when we have just one device running, like the TV, the service feels a bit choppy. Whenever we encounter issues, we usually reach out via text message and talk to Molly, which has been generally effective. My husband primarily handles communication with Mediacom, and he's found it relatively easy to get in touch with a representative when needed.
In terms of usage, we stream videos and TV shows for our five children, and my husband frequently plays video games. We also rely on the Wi-Fi for video calls and to connect various devices. Interestingly, our package supposedly includes a landline, but we haven't utilized it because we've never been informed about the specifics, like our phone number.

Even though you replaced the cable line to my house so that it is not shared with my neighbor, I continually get a frozen TV picture, sometimes with a small box indicating "loading video", and then sometimes a blank screen for up to a minute. I had Comcast in Chicago for years and never once did any of this happen there. Also disappointed that DVR is not available to me.

I've been calling for months about a charge for some kind of equipment that I've never had. I keep being told this will be pushed through but it keeps showing up on my bill. I was also told a box out something to get free tv was absolutely free then got charged $30 because i guys I didn't hook it up in 30 days. I want told about that at all. When I opened the box there was a paper on the top that said wait in big letters and a Mediacom person would come to hook it up. No one came then $30 on my bill.
They have taken these charges off when I call but I'm really tired of having to call every month. I feel like I'm constantly being lied to. I feel like Mediacom is a dishonest company. As soon as I have another option I am seriously considering switching companies. I've had Mediacom for nearly 20 years. Also they lie about the internet speed. It says up to 1000. Mine has never been above 200. Why not just say up to 200. Another lie. I'm very disappointed.

We're planning to switch providers when our promotion ends in March due to consistent issues with our Wi-Fi—it continually cuts in and out throughout the day. Although the customer service over the phone has been helpful, they still haven't resolved the connectivity issues.
A technician once came to fix a wire, but that didn't help. Previously, we even had Wi-Fi access in our nearby shop, but that's no longer possible. I'm unsure if Mediacom's goal is to push us to switch to their newer technology, like the 360, but I've already had trouble with their equipment setup. I ordered the Eero equipment, but they couldn't install them that day they were there, so I said, "Send them back."
I would rate my experience with Mediacom as a one out of five. Two of my neighbors have already canceled their Mediacom service due to similar troubles, and in our area, conversations on social media echo these frustrations, often advising against using Mediacom due to its unreliable service.

I've been a Mediacom customer for several years due to their quality of product and service, using their internet and basic cable. However, I'm quite disappointed with the basic cable. I opted for regular internet speed since we don't game much, but we do stream occasionally and it works fine for that purpose.
If I were to rate Mediacom overall, I would give them 4 stars. Their customer service deserves a 5, as I've had good experiences with them. However, the price for their service would get a 1, as I find it too high. I've used their website, but I barely remember it, so I can't comment much on its ease of use or navigation.

I've been using Mediacom for our Wi-Fi services, and my experience so far has been great. We initially heard about Mediacom through a friend and decided to try it since we needed similar services. My experience with Mediacom has been quite positive. Living in a town where it's the only cable company available, I've found it to be reliable. Although I find the cable service a bit pricey, likely due to the fees for acquiring popular channels, I believe the service quality justifies the cost.
Our cable service rarely experiences outages, and if it does, it's usually resolved within twenty minutes. The functionalities like pausing, recording, and rewinding live TV enhance the viewing experience, making it user-friendly for anyone. The menu interface is another highlight, allowing me to scroll through channels without leaving the one I am watching.

I first heard about Mediacom from one of my colleagues. The packages they offer seemed appealing, and since most of my colleagues have been using Mediacom for the past one to two years, they recommended it to me when I recently moved here from India. I've only used Mediacom's internet service so far, specifically the I-250 plan. There was some promotional for Zoom or Streambox. So, I had that installed. My installation experience was smooth and user-friendly, and the sales team was very responsive and helpful.
Regarding the quality of service, I've been informed by Mediacom representatives about potential slowdowns in my area, but so far, I haven't experienced any connectivity issues. Overall, I'd rate my experience positively; I've even recommended Mediacom to a colleague who recently moved here. Customer service has been excellent, and the sales and marketing process deserves a four out of five. While the internet service is good, I'm less satisfied with the activation fees. They charge $25 for the first three months, which seems high and somewhat unnecessary for a one-time installation. However, the ongoing charges for the modem and internet seem fair.

I initially chose Mediacom because it was the only internet service available in my area. Everything was arranged over the phone, and I received the installation equipment by mail. Currently, I only utilize their internet service, primarily for my grandkids to stream content like Netflix, although I find the cost high at $90 a month.
Getting the service initially was problematic. When I moved in, the previous tenant hadn't canceled her service, leading to a delay of nearly two months before I could get my own connection.
While I don't personally use the internet service extensively, when it's working, it seems sufficient for streaming without issues like buffering. However, the price increase after the promotional period was unexpected, jumping from $60 to $90, which I find excessive, especially as a casual user in my age bracket.
For customer service, they are courteous and efficient. But overall, I wouldn't recommend Mediacom for users who don't require heavy internet usage.

I chose Mediacom because I've known about it for years and found their services to be more affordable. I've been using Mediacom for about three to four months now, and I'd rate my experience a 10 out of 10. I primarily use their Internet service for my Roku, TV and phone, and the quality is perfect.
Although there have been a couple of outages, they were due to external issues like a transformer blowing, not something caused by Mediacom. Overall, I'm very satisfied with their service and would rate them 5 out of 5 stars. I appreciate the simplicity of their setup, which fits well with my small apartment. I initially had WiFi extenders but returned them as they weren't necessary for my compact living space.

I have been with Mediacom for over 20 years, primarily using their Wi-Fi service for my computer and TV. Generally, the Wi-Fi service is pretty good, although there are occasional issues where it stalls. Sometimes the connection drops for a few hours, but since upgrading to fiber, the service has improved significantly. While the stalls still occasionally happen, the TV connection remains stable even when issues arise with the Wi-Fi. These interruptions occur maybe once or twice a week. Despite this, I would give Mediacom a 5-star rating as the service has improved. I would recommend their new fiber service to friends and family. For anyone considering cable, I would suggest getting a smart TV to access streaming services like YouTube over Wi-Fi, as cable TV can be quite expensive. Mediacom services are integral to my daily activities, including using my computer and TV and paying bills. Overall, I've had a positive experience and would recommend their improved fiber Wi-Fi service.

I chose Mediacom for our internet and cable service a few years ago when my son moved in and needed reliable internet access. Generally, the service is good, but there have been frequent interruptions due to maintenance, especially in the fall. Being retired, these outages are frustrating as I rely heavily on the internet. Just last week, the service was down for about 3-4 hours, which feels too frequent to me.
Regarding customer service, there was an occasion when we received an extra charge on our bill for being one day late. When we explained about the service interruptions, the customer service representative was accommodating and waived the $10 fee. I appreciated how they handled the situation, which was reassuring.

I have been using Mediacom services for about 6 to 7 months now and I chose them because they are the available cable company in Hector where I live. I use both their Internet and cable services, and I've found the quality of both to be satisfactory. The service has been reliable, and any issues have been promptly resolved by the company. There was only one instance when there was an outage due to maintenance work in the area, but they restored it within about half a day. It's generally easy for me to contact their customer service, and I've never faced any issues doing so. I'd tell my friends to hook up with them because they're really good with me. While I'm somewhat satisfied with Mediacom, the connection reliability in adverse weather is a concern. Despite signing up for Eero, which improved stability, weather conditions continue to affect my connection. I recently faced an issue with Mediacom during an ice storm when my internet connection became intermittent, frequently going on and off. This was quite frustrating given the high price I pay. I have been a customer of Mediacom forever, and I've had more service visits from them in the three years since living here than I ever did in Dubuque or Cedar Rapids.
My installation experience, however, was wonderful. It couldn't have been better. I had two people here and they knew what they were doing.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the Wi-Fi service provided. While your technicians successfully connect the Wi-Fi, they fail to ensure that all connected devices are working properly. It is unacceptable that I am expected to make monthly payments for a service that is not fully functional. Furthermore, when technicians visit customers, they should be willing to assist with devices such as cameras and thermostats.
