    We moved here on the 1st of July, and we chose Mediacom because it offered TV, internet, and phones at the same company. I sometimes communicate with them through the chatbot and that has been very helpful. If it didn't solve the problem, Mediacom would send a technician out, and that has worked for us every time. The services are good.

    Availability and quality of products were my considerations when I went with Mediacom. I've been with them for less than a year. I'm satisfied compared to the competition that is in the area.     Recent cable work on our street is unacceptable! Flags and paint marks were left in our yards and tower cannisters were left wide open to sight and the weather; Please rectify. It is very embarrassing and unprofessional! Please make us feel we deserve something special for paying $100 a month for wifi! Could we receive compensation for this mess please?

    We have been with Mediacom for 44 years, and they recently lowered our Internet speed. They said in order for us to get the same price we have been paying, we either had to stop service for 90 days, or purchase their cellphone service. I already have reliable cellphone service,so, I'm going to switch to a different Internet provider.

    Mediacom was the one available in the apartment complex for television. But DISH was better. I’m paying more and I’m getting fewer channels than I did with DISH. Mediacom doesn’t have DISH scapes or the radar on the screen where you could pick up. There’s just a lot it doesn’t have. It’s expensive and costs more than it’s worth. There’s not anything Mediacom can fix, that’s just the way it is with them.

    When looking for internet providers do yourself a favor and look elsewhere! This is one of the worst companies not just internet providers that I have ever experienced. Our internet goes out periodically at least once a week and on numerous occasions is out multiple times every week and on same occasions for nearly most of the day. They are not cheaper than anyone else so they are not a discount provider.

    They also have subpar "customer service". Many times we don't get an alert when our service will be out due to their many "updates/upgrades" and when we have called them the reps have been unprofessional and told us we should just use our hotspot, even after we told them our home is all based on smart technology and that doesn't work. (SMH) We have had enough after all of their nonsense and our leaving and recommend others to follow.

    I have been a Mediacom customer for years and have been satisfied with them until recently. I received a notification that the Tivo box wouldn't support Netflix starting in October. I ordered new boxes and here is where the nightmare started. Apparently when the work orders were placed, the system kicked me out of service. I called about four times over a two day period. Now I have no television service and it will be a week before anyone will come out to fix it. I am cutting ties with this company because there seems to be no concern for long time customers.

    The tech Michael did good work reducing the noise on the cable line. Service has improved. Modem is no longer rebooting multiple times per day. Only minor lagging slowdowns a few times per day. He gave us suggested solution and contact numbers to replace the line in the wall to further mitigate the noise in line problem. Have started following up, but not completed suggested actions yet.

    The customer service with Mediacom has been good over the years. I've been with them probably since 1999. I never have to use them because nothing breaks, but when it does, they come out or help me over the phone. Since I’m blind, they do the best they can. We had an issue with HBO Max, but Mediacom couldn’t fix it directly because it was on HBO’s side. But when there’s an issue, they’ve always resolved it. Even when there are outages, I would call and tell them I have no cable. Usually, it’s their issue.

    I liked Mediacom's pricing at the time that I signed up with them online. The process went pretty smoothly. The only thing I didn't like is they send you a bunch of extra equipment that they'll bill you for without asking. Someone came out to hook up my modem and provide service. But I don't use their equipment, so I had to do my own setup on the modem. I had to send their equipment back and that was a little bit of a pain. Also, I gotta call in every time of renewal to avoid getting the price jacked up $20 to $30. But other than those, it's all good. I like Mediacom better than when we were on CenturyLink.

    I have high speed internet with Mediacom. When I first obtained the services, I thought they may have been training new people or so where I did not get sufficient information. But, for the most part, the customer service has been good. I have been with them for three years, and I use the service for work from home. I also use the Mediacom app and it is very user-friendly.

    The only problem that I have had is that because of the area that I am in, the service slows down during times. There are moments where it has been more than often. When it is raining, it tends to disconnect. For whatever reason, it buffers horribly during the middle of the night, but one would think it would be faster at night. So, I am also not sure if that is connected to the area or something else. But, for the most part, the service is good.

    I think Mediacom has a great product, but their customer service needs a lot of work. You get transferred several times in one call, and then only if you are lucky will you get your problem resolved. I have had to have service calls, and I usually have to wait a couple of days---while I still pay for a service I'm not getting. Today is the worst. I was told a week ago that someone would be here between 8-10 to fix my cable. Then I was told 10-12. It is now 2:00 and nothing. I was told they are upgrading the entire apartment complex and will get here when they can. Mine is not an upgrade. It is a service call to fix a problem. If I had a choice, I would not sign up with Mediacom.

    Cable TV channels do not display or glitch in early mornings. This problem began a few weeks ago. A Mediacom technician inspected and found nothing. Seems to me the problem is not in my equipment but in the Mediacom distribution of Cable TV in early mornings when most people are still asleep. Am I to be neglected because I watch TV in early mornings? I cannot even record movies overnight as they are garbled with glitching digital images.

    I had been scheduled to have service connected 8/27/2025 from 1-5. Tech came out and said he couldn’t connect due to service had to go under the street to my house. He said they would come out in 2 weeks to do that. I was sent a new text that service date of 9/12/2025 1-5. I called every day this week to confirm my service to be connected on the 12th. I was told each time I called someone would reach out to me. That never happened, so I called each day to inquire as to the service. On Thursday I ask to speak to a supervisor and was connected to a Cindy. I tried to explain the events as they had happened and was told by her “she was not going to debate me”. I never raised my voice, but I was trying to make sure the line was going to be in place by today to get service.

    She proceeded to message Jackie who had scheduled the service date and was assured I would have service today the 12th. I received a text this morning that my tech would be here today. The tech called me to say he would be here in 20 minutes. He ask if the line had been put under the street and I informed him no. The tech called me back 45 min later to ask for my gate code to enter subdivision. I never saw him and didn’t hear anything until I received a text my appt today had been canceled. This is my second home and I’ve waited here for over 2 weeks to get this taken care of. I paid the amount that I was told this would cost me up front as you require, but still no service!! So you I’m very unhappy! Also, Cindy needs more training to speak to customers. I own 2 businesses and would not accept her tone with my customers.

    We are unhappy that we cannot pre-record things to watch later. So, we would like you to cancel the TV service and the land-line phones. We will keep the internet, though.
