    Do not be fooled by this company. I have a 3 month contract which they have attempted to state multiple times it is a 6 month contract. Horrible website design. horrible Facebook adds. When you try and reach them you will be on hold for a minimum of 5 minutes and they will shoot you around to different departments because no one knows what they are doing. My website is horrible. I had to now hire a much much much better marketing team. I highly suggest reading the reviews very carefully. I have tried to just pay out the rest of my contract so I don't waste money on horrible advertising. I was looking for lead generation.

    I have received 1 lead in the last month and a half. The new company I am using brings me a minimum of 50 inbound leads a day. If you want to see the quality of their work please visit viecast.com. I honestly do not know what else can be said. I thought every company has some bad reviews but this company is horrible. Management still hasn't gotten back to me in over a week. They do not update ads or do anything they stated they were gonna do. Feel free to reach me if you would like me to go over in more detail how this company conducts business.

    From September thru November, 2019 I tried to login to website to change outdated pictures and information about. I spent over 100 hrs on the phone and online communicating with tech support based in the Philippines. They all said the same thing: Hit the button that says "reset pass word." "A link will be sent to you within 10 minutes." I would hit the button, the screen would freeze, and no link would show up in mailbox. Other windows would function but not the Hibu connected site.

    The retail store that we run got busy and I didn't want waste any more of my life trying to solve this problem. My wife and called and spoke with someone at hibu and cancelled the service and ended automatic payments. No one called to find out why or start afresh. But on the 17th someone here in the states sent us a bill for services rendered(?). The website address which hibu owns and is still active directs people not to the website that hibu set up but to a website in either Japanese or Korean. And they expect us to pay for that?

    Hibu is the worst investment we have made. The people that manage our account have published ads with photos that are not approved by us and don't even represent our business correctly. We had comments posted on our Facebook that the product doesn't even relate to our services we provide. I have been unsuccessful in getting Hibu to cancel our contract even though they have failed to provide what they promised.

    I believe the breach of contract has occurred and they should at least refund our investment so far and cancel the project, but the people we talk to in the Philippines don't help. I have had to completely shut down my facebook to prevent further damage from their irresponsible actions. I have posted a review on their site but they apparently do not let bad ones show up. I believe this company should be restricted from creating contracts that they will not let you out of when they do not perform their contractual duties. I see by these reviews many other have had similar bad experiences and lost money to Hibu.

    I have been with Hibu for a couple of years now. At first, I thought it was a great idea to have my ads show up on the sides of other webpages, I have never seen my ad before, ever! I have received absolutely no calls off of this ad campaign unless they are the hundreds of scam calls I have been receiving since signing up with Hibu. My campaign restarts itself without authorization. I’ve been through this twice and wanted to cancel however my rep Larry and Stacie have Found ways to keep me with them and promised to get it right in the future.

    Today I received a phone call, my caller ID said it was a friend of mine, it ended up being Hibu! How the hell did they do that, I thought that was only scam companies that did stuff like that. They claim they have no idea what I’m talking about and that if I called the phone number back it would dial to them, however it goes to my friend because it’s his number that they called me from!

    Now I am fighting to get my month to month account canceled, I was told this would be easy since I should be on month-to-month at this point however the last time I put my account on hold they raise my rate and continue to charge me every month after! So, my bank is dealing with these charges and Hibu is calling to get the money back. Now they want proof from me of when I talk to them, who I talked to and what we talked about. I responded with “don’t you have a record of my account”? Apparently not! I can tell you that Stacy claimed the account was on hold and that she could not send proof because she clicked out of her system too quickly but promised it was done. I also responded to the email which asked if I really wanted to place the account on hold. I Have seen companies like this, these guys got me, I’m done with internet-based companies. If I can’t walk in the door of the service provider, we are not working with them! Thousands waisted!

    The guy named Thomas ** came by the office and talked to me about Hibu. Talked about how it could help my business grow. There's a 6 months contracts but if they aren't beneficial to my business, he will help end the contract. So I signed up. We do get calls from the ads but all of those calls never converted to appointments. People called and didn't say anything. People called and hung up. People called and asked about other businesses. Very time and money wasted. So I called Mr. Parker to end the contract. He said he's helping but now I can't even contacted him. This company is a scam. Do not trust them!

    We hired Hibu to take care of our digital marketing. The contract was for 1 year. We spent $3000 and got zero sales. All phone calls are routed to Philippines. The CSRs don't understand client's needs. I kept on telling them from month 3 that this was not working, but they were interested in getting their money, drafting my bank account regularly. Does not want to understand that if it was not working, the campaign needs to be stopped and contract cancelled. Hibu was just interested in getting their money, just because we signed a one year contract. So, be careful when you sign up. Make sure you tell them if the campaign does not work, you will cancel the contract. Get a confirmation to this.

    I have dealt with many different marketing companies and still currently do. Hibu really stood out to me because I had a actual person (who is still my account manager), come out to the office to better understand our marketing needs, then cater a plan specifically to us. She has been more concerned for what is going to work for us, not solely motivated by sales. They are always there and available if we have any questions, need to make any changes, or updates to our account. There is a human and personable element to this company that I have not experienced anywhere else.     We had Hibu for one year. The salesperson made us think all positive and increase our sales. As a small business we thought this would be great! Well turns out we had to redo the website with our own staff that they were being paid to edit and improve. After calling Hibu several times we found out our our digital specialist no longer worked there and we asked for help and no one would help us. They also could not tell us who our new specialist was. I found this absolutely ridiculous. So after one year of paying hundreds of dollars a month and not increasing any sales we cancelled our business with them. Then they charged us for another full month after we cancelled. We refused to pay the and they threatened us with legal action more than once so we paid it and we feel that was not right of them to do so. This was a full year of bad experiences with Hibu.

The regional manager and our new account executive, Jon **, had a meeting with us today and we are very optimistic that all of our issues can be resolved with Hibu.     Updated on 05/14/2020: Hibu is overpriced and unorganized. For $809.98 monthly they will build you a" Myspace page" looking website and Facebook, and disappear from contact. They cancel appointments, no show, never return calls when you are a customer, and when you cancel they continue to send bills and say they are still running the website. We cancelled our service over a month ago, in writing, with confirmation of receipt and cancellation from them, and they continue to call and email non stop.

    During our experience when we paid over $800 a month, they placed a trial mode appointment widget on our page that allowed patients to schedule appointments outside of our business hours, and double book, and when an appointment was booked it never sent proper notification, this was a headache to say the least. It was so bad when I called to cancel service, I wasn't even asked why. Our HiBu rep however, was extremely helpful and supportive.

    Original Review: Hibu doesn't care about your time, today was the 3rd time we had an appointment scheduled to go over our current website with them, and make some changes and ask questions. We are paying customers. They have flaked THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT EVERY TIME. Today "Cliff" called 25 minutes before he was supposed to be here and he said he "woke up sick". I asked him why he would wait to tell me 25 minutes before our scheduled and confirmed appointment time to cancel and he said he woke up sick. Did you just wake up? I commute over an hour 1 way to work, I made sure I was here a half hour early to greet him and set up for our team meeting with Hibu, that he cancelled. This is a no call no show, 25 minutes? 3 times in a row? I had to call everyone and tell them not to come, Hibu cant keep an appointment and doesn't respect your time.

    First of all this service was misrepresented to us by the salesperson Jon ** on the first day we talked to him. We took the Facebook ad service with him telling me that the facebook ad could be targeted to meet our needs (for example "Veterinarian"). Well, that simply was not true. The closest they could get was a very general target of "college-educated". This is totally useless. We also were told that we could change the ad when we wanted and I did several times. Each time they messed it up and in fact, the ad that they are forcing on us now is still not what we sent them.

    Also, I have sent numerous emails to the salesperson and his manager. They came out to talk to us and we were willing to let them try to fix the mess. The next couple of days Jon sent me a file image of a new ad. I took the ad he sent and edited it myself to make it just what I wanted. Remember this is the same ad image that he sent me that I changed the text on. So simple right. No, when it posted it was still wrong and after several emails to change it it is still wrong. At that point, I was so done with these people since they did not give me what they sold me upfront and they were unable to get the ad right.

    We have told them to cancel the service they have refused at every turn. Their tactic is just not to call or email you back with any real help. Then they sent me to what they called the investigation team! Wow, they have an investigation team for just what I not sure. Still haven't heard from them either. We will be making a complaint with the BBB and with the state of Wisconsin since this company has provided us with no help whatsoever. We have canceled the payment and they, in turn, have threatened to send us to collections. Don't believe what these people tell you. The worst part of it is we got NO HELP for the ads at all. $300 per month wasted. The listing manager was of uses but that cost was $40. The rest a complete waste of time and money. Think twice before you sign anything with these people. They have no intention of ever letting you off it even if the service was misrepresented.

    Long story short. A sales person stopped into my karate school to get my business. He was very pushy but in a nice way, that's what sales people do. He was actually pretty nice and did everything he could to get me started. I signed a contract that was to begin in about 4 months from signing. My business wasn't where it needed to be so I canceled before the contract took effect. Since then it has been nothing but a nightmare. Taking money out of my account for a service I am not using. Harassing emails and texts. And just utter incompetence. I've spoken to people in the upper levels who assured me everything is canceled. And yet as of yesterday I received an email telling me my payments are late. I have everything documented and I'm about to seek legal counsel. Run! Run from these people as fast as you can.

    As someone who has nearly 10 years of experience working in marketing, I was excited to see what Hibu could do for my business, especially after the initial meeting and webinars. At the very start, I was told that I could cancel my contract after 6 months; when I inquired to do so, I was told I was locked in for 12 months, and there is no way of getting out.

    In the 6 months of having Hibu, we were not seeing any leads or inquiries for our business coming from Hibu. Instead, the marketing I was doing on my own, was pulling in more foot traffic for our business. Instead of Hibu trying to resolve and better their services, they would keep highlighting the call times, and the clicks on the website. Again -- none of that made a difference to me, if THOSE specific people were not walking in my door. After jumping from loop to loop, I was able to cancel the largest bulk of my Hibu contract, but was still left with my Google listings -- I was told it was a still a 12 month contract, and I had to continue paying the $40/month, for another few months (until the contract ended). I agreed to that, and it was the end.

    Just recently, people informed me that they could NO longer find our business on Google. When I went to look, I was seeing that it was completely removed, along with our Google maps, reviews, images. etc. I contracted Hibu to learn more about this, and they said that because I had requested it to be removed, they removed it. But here's the best part...I was ALWAYS told I could not remove it because it was a 12-month contract, and I have it in writing (via email), agreeing to keep the Google listing.

    So why on earth would Hibu remove something from my business end, without my consent OR better-off, without informing me. This is a loss of business and moreover, revenue because when people search for our business, it will not show up for them anymore. This has been the WORSE experience from Hibu and I will NOT recommend them to my business-owner friends.

    After one year of service with this company my contract ended. Three months later got a call from a salesman and I told him I did not wish to renew my services. Too much after that this company started to charge my card $40 per month for the last year. I requested a refund in May 2019 and demand this fraudulent charges & fraudulent contract ceased. I’ve got nothing but the runaround and they are still continuing to charge my card and its December 2019. I’m going to the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, as well as my state Attorney General to have them refund my $450 immediately.

    Do not give this company your credit card number. You will never be able to cancel. I’ve talk to customer service several times have lied to me about the process and I have sent several emails as well. I am furious. As a small business owner starting my new business they have locked up funds of mine which is totally unfair. Total rip off Completely!! By the way their marketing sent me four customers in a one year.

    I have had the WORST experience with this company. I was told I could cancel after 6 months and then, when I went to cancel, that told me I was locked in for a year. The reason I was cancelling was because I saw absolutely NO benefit from their services, so to be stuck for a year paying over $700 a month for an additional 6 months was infuriating. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone!

    Never had a company "authorize" services with just a phone call-no data, no contract, no approval. No responses from customer service other than to replay the initial taped call that was just to identify if I was the "decision maker". Worst possible business interaction. No better than old toner-slammers of 10 years ago.

    One star is not even appropriate. I called Hibu in April to cancel our service. I jumped through all the hoops necessary to have this done and was told it was completely taken care of. In October I received another bill from Hibu and the customer service representative assured me that our account had been cancelled back in April. November rolls around and once again I got a bill from Hibu and this time the representative tells me that he has no record of us ever cancelling back in April. I asked to speak to a manager and was ask "why do you need to talk to a manager, they are going to tell you the same thing?" I told him that the way business was being handled was unacceptable and that I would need to talk to the manager. When I asked for the manager's name, I was ask "for what?" Then I was hung up on. Find another avenue, do NOT use HIBU!!! They are taking advantage of small businesses.

    Worst ROI ever. Everything they do is misleading. Anyone with a google analytics account can see very little actual traffic for HIBU ads. Their dashboard is a bunch of fake statistics. I'm not even sure where they get their stats but definitely not verifiable. I tried to cancel and was routed through some call center in India to be told I had a min 6 month contract again not what my rep told me. Very disappointing!!! The rep is super nice. Unfortunately she may not be the brightest crayon in the box selling such a crappy product.

    Beware! This company does mediocre service with very little results on 8376 impressions on a week with only 120 clicks. Your website has nothing to do with how many clicks you get to actually get people to view your site, it is up to the Display Services to get you exposed to begin with. You might not get any clicks on your site with the type of advertisement service that Hibu offers. The price I am paying for this mistake is $250.00 USD per month for the next 6 months since they locked me in on a contract. Please be careful about who you give your money to, I know I will be even more careful than what I have been in the past from now.

    I signed up for Hibu website and marketing. It turned out, that the display ads were directing to an incorrect website, which I had caught, and had to bring to their attention. After two months of payments, I wanted out of the contract stating that they were in breach. They started an investigation and decided to refund me $2600 and cancel services effective 9/30/2019, at my request. Today is Nov. 6 and I still have not received my refund. I have sent 2 emails to Heidi on 10/23 and 11/5 with zero response. Everything about this company is horrible from sales, to design, to customer support, and lastly to their accounting dept. Run as fast as you can, find another provider.

    I have purchased the Search and Display and Listing from Hibu. They lock me in for 6 months on Search and Display. When you have a question or concern they don't reply to you at all. Finally when I officially complained the sales team came in and instead of cancelling my service they told me a story of how their customer support has been reorganized with tier 1 and tier 2 support etc. So now when you call it goes to Tier 1, which can't really help you with anything - so you wait 5 minutes then get transferred to Tier 2. They claim to do something to change your campaign etc, which you can't exactly see what they have done or doing. But what I see is no change in the results of what they have done.

    10/10 they made changes to my campaign and today after 18 days no one cares to see or tell me if the campaign is doing good, bad, worse. It is my job to keep track of my campaign. If I do everything then why should I need Hibu. Their CPC rating is also very high $4.95. My personal ad gives me lower CPC. This is a horrible company.

    We placed an ad to locate an associate for our dental practice. This was an ad limited to 90 days for a specific area. We wrote a check in advance for the total cost of the advertising. HIBU used the check to access our account and continues to debit our account monthly for $500.00. The advertising campaign has been completed months ago.     HIBU has taken my money, wasted my time, caused me immense frustration and stress. I have not received one business lead from them. Colton, the representative who was supposed to be on my side was extremely unhelpful, unprofessional, a liar and did not keep any of his promises. I have been attempting to get my money back and stop payments, but have been continually wasted many hours on the phone and hold with various representatives, none of which have helped me in the least.

    I have been "using" this company for years, and I have nothing to show for it. What I do have is a horrible website with incorrect info. Which they haven't changed no matter how many times I've asked. www.balanceandmotionclinic.com, take a look for yourself. I got so fed up trying to get them to fix it I ended up making a new website of my own. After doing that I requested to terminate my services with Hibu. They will not cancel the agreement and any time I get on the phone about it the call gets disconnected on their end with no callbacks ever. They continue to charge me and each month the charges have increased with no explanation. I sent a certified letter to the address on my most recent agreement requesting cancellation, but that letter was returned because the addressee moved and left no forwarding address. This company is a total scam! I highly discourage anyone interested in doing business with them.

    They don’t make updates when asked. They say they have then it turns out they haven’t. They will say that they’re calling back but won’t. Salesmen use misleading information and false promises to get you to try it. Once you give them a few months of not producing any leads and try to quit using them you’ll suddenly realize that you’re in a six month contract. From what I understand the contract is not legally binding but they will tell you otherwise. Contacted an attorney today. I’d rather give money to an attorney than give this shady dishonest company another dime.

    We started with Hibu earlier this year and the service we received from Hibu has been anything but acceptable. We started with Hibu to increase our Google clicks and impressions. We have not notice any difference in standing and reached out to Hibu to have a search with our Company attached. I noticed everything. The proposal on their dashboard is generic. Meaning they can use any company's information to obtain results. Our business name is never included in the listings management, search marketing, and display advertising. We also had a social listing with Hibu where they stated that they made us active on 68 websites. Come to find out we were not active on 68 websites, including the local white and yellow pages, which I personally made us active on. I recommend that you do not seek the services of Hibu. They will take your money and create new contracts without your awareness or approval.

    Overpromise underdeliver as I grew. I have been a customer for multiple years (over 10). I always knew I was dealing with a big company and would need to deal with issues related to that. The local rep and corporate don't really interact. I spent about 40k a year with them towards the end. They always have the same smoke and mirrors answer to PPC questions. I would ask for ideas from the specialist but they would just say I should spend more funds to get more share.

    I would double my spend and get marginal results. I would ask why it didn't match up with what they suggested. They would say, "Those numbers are old. You should increase your budget." Some of their products are "proprietary" so they won't share information. The account manager just emailed canned responses, no critical thinking about how to make my campaigns work better. It work well in the beginning with a small budget but when I needed to zero in on particular market I decided to go to a different company.

    We hired Hibu to run a Google AdWords Search Campaign. We are a small family owned roofing company in Pennsylvania. We signed a 6 month contract and were promised to be swamped with phone calls to help our business grow. 2 months into the contract and over $4000 spent, we have received zero business. We received 3 phone calls that were not even legitimate business opportunities. We tried to cancel our contract and Hibu will not allow it. Their customer service representative was rude. DO NOT sign a contract with this company.

    I have been trying to cancel Auto renew since April 2019, also to close my account with HIBU. I was assured that Auto renew was Opted out by at least 3 representatives, not so.... guess what? I just received a 2020 contract with auto renewal. I get either," We're working on it" or "It's been done" and clearly it has not. I have even talked to customer service on the phone. Nothing works, all I get is lip service. I no longer wish to talk to anyone from HIBU on the phone, I want this issued to be resolved in writing. I simply ask NO more Auto renew and Close my account period, simple. There has to be someone higher up in this company that has the authority to handle this situation. I was unable manually to go into my own account and turn off auto renew that seems unethical to me. For the reasons above I can not recommend HIBU.

    Small restoration company. Gave Hibu a chance. They put together some ads, made all the cards seem as if they would line up. Told me I was reporting on sites good according to their reports. Told them I've had a drastic decrease in business, they said increase my budget. So I listened and followed their advice and NOW I have ZERO calls coming in. Nothing from their work and they refuse to tell you their fees. So to date I still have no clue how much goes to my ad budget or to their fees. NOT a good company for trade guys in my opinion.

    Since my initial payment of $399 to create my website in 2015. I have paid $99.96 every month since. The customer service I have received has been less than average and now they want me to pay another lump sum to update my website to be competitive with other websites. I was told that is what the 99.96 monthly fee was for. Prior to having Hibu create your website I would take the time to learn how to create your own so you are not locked into paying for a service that you do not receive.

    We started working with Hibu 4 months ago to create marketing ads for our company. So far it has been the worst decision I have made for my business as Hibu’s team is absolutely incompetent and untrustworthy. We were dissatisfied with their service and wanted to close the account but for past 4 months they have been refusing to close it and keep charging us 2.5k a month even though they are not creating any ads for us during this time. They simply keep the account up and running without providing any service, sounds like SCAMMERS to me. We have dealt with multiple managers (Mary, Heather, Dana) all whom promise to look into your account and assist only to never call you back or follow up.

    In the first weeks of working together, they posted our holiday ads with a special offer 5 days AFTER the promo had already expired! They are refusing to accept that they screwed up even after we show them the facts and screenshots. They have been destroying our reputation with our customers by creating very basic ads that anyone with no knowledge could create, by posting offers that have expired DAYS before. Dealing with Hibu has been the worst nightmare and I highly recommend steering away from them. They will take your money and refuse to answer you emails or call back to solve an issue. The WORST customer service and service providers.

    The salesperson, Anna ** lied to us every step of the way. I explained we were a seasonal business, she said we could advertise for two months no problem. I told her that we would do $500 of Google Ads for July and then $250 in August as we slow down in August because college kids return to school mid-August. She said that would be fine. I said if I was happy with the results then I would renew in January.

    She came in with the contract but we were busy at the time and I said the prices and the dates we discussed and she said yes. My business partner was informed of what terms I agreed to, so he signed the paperwork. After she left we realized we didn't have a copy of the contract. I called and asked her for it and she said she would bring it, she did not.

    Jody, the person who did our campaign setup called and I reiterated our terms of agreement. She told me that their standard contract is 6 months and I would have to contact Anna. I contacted Anna and she said she could pause it if I sent her a request in writing. I said, "These terms are not what I agreed to," and she told me to email her and hung up. I emailed her the same day telling her to pause my campaign. She responded and said she couldn't pause the campaign until November. I told her that was unacceptable as this is not what we had agreed to but since I did not have a contract, I didn't know what had been agreed upon.

    I spent two hours today trying to get a copy of the contract from their "customer care" team. One hung up on me. I called back and then asked to speak to a supervisor. He initially refused to let me speak to a supervisor. Finally I spoke to a John, who apologized but told me I was contractually bound to pay them $3000 during my slowest time of the year. He eventually said he would pause the contract until January. I am contacting my lawyer tomorrow and have stopped payment through American Express as their business is exceptionally shady.

    We signed up for HIBU for their online marketing with Google and display ads. They came into our store and approached us knowing we were a firearms store. I told them that get would not be able to market us on Facebook or Google very easily but they assured us it would not be a problem and if the marketing did not work we would be able to cancel in writing. None of this was true. We are stuck in a confusing agreement with 12 months of display ads that are not running for our industry and 6 months of google ads that are not running for our intended industry either. They are marketing us as sporting goods so we have people calling about basketballs and are wasting money because they will not let us cancel and can't market us like they said they could. They come in with a great sales pitch on how they are a primer partner with Facebook and Google and they can work their magic. Don't get fooled like we did.

    They do not communicate well with you after they get your credit card info. You would think their goal would be to get your advertising working well so you would stay with them but not the case. They put together the primary ads that were not approved. They then asked us to change our website some so they could get the ads approved. All in all in the end we are now running two separate websites just to get some name recognition out of our Hibu advertising even though it is not advertising our products. The ads they got approved do not advertise what they are supposed to advertise but hey at least we are getting impressions on one web to get the name out there. All I can say is be very cautious of Hibu as they are a scam in my opinion.

    We had a website for several years and really had no problem with it. However, we sold our business and had to call 3 times to cancel. The second time we paid an additional month because it had gone into the next month when we received a letter notice via email (that went into spam). We got a name and a confirmation number. Then, lo and behold a month later received another late notice via email in the spam folder, thank goodness we check it. My mom, who was the owner and president of the company had to call me three-way because I was the manager who signed the contract (what if it was some random manager that was fired). They would not just talk to her, I HAD to be on the line.

    Then they told us the name we gave wasn't in his department so the confirmation number we had was pretty much useless. WHAT??? Then went on to say we are responsible to pay the monthly fee because there were no notes on our account for the last 4 months. Between myself and my mom and the new owners that came in, we had contacted Hibu OVER 10 times in the last month alone. We ask to speak to a supervisor and none were available. Ya right. They do not communicate between departments and if you want something done or taken care of you better make sure that you have first names, last names, extension numbers, confirmation numbers, departments and everything you can write down pertaining to that conversation. Will NEVER go with them again for this reason. We had enough headaches selling the business anyway, Hibu made a headache turn into a nightmarish migraine.

    Got locked into a contract with Hibu about a year ago. Once I signed on the dotted line I never heard back from my sales rep again. Certainly never saw any gains of web traffic anywhere. When the year was up I was supposed to have a meeting with a new sales rep. It was scheduled but she never showed up or called but they continued to charge me monthly for a service I didn't need or want. So when I cut off the credit card was the first time I heard from someone in the company for a year, and it was just to let me know I owed them $70. Told them I didn't want there service, which was fine by them but I still owed them money. After a few emails back and forth letting them know how my time and money was wasted they sent me back an apology email and a address to send my 70 to them. Either way I am not a fan of this company.

    Terrible Customer Service and digital Marketing. I was excited to start with this company in the beginning. Before I committed to a 6 month contract and start paying for it, the sales rep was great and offered different strategies on ways to market my company online. I’m always looking for ways to attract leads online. I left one digital marketing company to use Hibu. This has been the worse decision ever! After they received my credit card info and started billing me, I was never able to get in contact with who I thought was the team that created my ads online. It took days for someone to email me back. Everyone that works there, lives all over the country and state. You keep getting passed around from one person to another. No one knows who’s in charge of your account. They just keep telling you to look at your dashboard, which they control.

    Needless to say, I didn’t get any leads from their ads. They used the wrong keywords, which we talked about using specific key words for the ad. I couldn’t find my ads on Google anywhere. I was promised first page of Google, and I never saw that. I went from 80 leads per month with my old marketing company, to zero leads per month with Hibu. At the end, nothing was resolved, I filed a complaint with the company. They did nothing about it, but just kept telling me I was in a 6 month contract. If you are looking to attract people to your website or get leads... THIS IS NOT THE COMPANY FOR THAT.

    ATVTracks.net is a business that sells most of its products through its website. We experienced issues with our previous website of 13 years, and as a result had to build a new site. After almost a year our new site was up, but we had lost most of our SEO and organic search rankings as a result. At this time, we had a representative from Hibu contact us. Hibu claimed that for $2,000 per month for a six (6) month contract they could bring us to the front page of Google search rankings. This sounded like an excellent deal. However, after a second party called to notify me that the contract was non-cancelable, I should have been suspicious. I have had a very poor experience with Hibu since then.

    As per contract, Hibu promised 4 15-second ads on YouTube. They did provide this, but rather than develop new content for these ads they reused content from the more than 100 educational clips we have on YouTube. The contract also stipulated that they would send us a monthly status report showing where we were in terms of search rankings, and how much we had improved. Hibu was also supposed to contact our web designer and coordinate on adding searchable content for Google. This never happened. Instead Hibu wanted us to give them control of our website, which we refused.

    Our website was not receiving much attention or improvement from Hibu’s services, so I asked their local sales representative to come into our office. Together we contacted their main office to discuss our situation. The only person we could talk with was their office secretary. While she was very courteous, she made it plain that she did not have any knowledge of SEO or organic rankings growth. She also would not allow us to speak with any technical people in the office. She said all she could do was relay a message to their IT department. We have not had any response from their IT team, other than the monthly status reports. We have spoken with Hibu’s local representative approximately eight times over six months. The first four visits were for the express purpose of getting the contract signed.

    Though Hibu had been working on our contract for four months, our site had reached only the 8th page of the Google search rankings. At that time, we started working with another company on SEO and marketing to improve our Google rankings. Six weeks of work on their part moved our site from the 8th page to the 1st or 2nd page of Google search results. This work included 4,000 emails to customers, six new educational videos on Youtube, and $2,500 per month for Google ads. Additionally, we have updated SEO information on all website pages and send out daily tech tips on Facebook. Meanwhile, $12,000 was spent on services from Hibu. That money was wasted.

    We have learned our lesson. Never agree to a lengthy second party contract. Look at the Better Business Bureau reviews for any company you work with. Though you may find some good reviews, there are far more complaints about Hibu from companies both overseas and domestically. Make sure to research any company you are investing in. Otherwise, like us, you might get burned.

    Before using Hibu, please read. The first role of sales, or any relationship in that matter, is to gain and keep trust. Do not trust these people. Make sure you listen to every word, and clarify what everything means. Do not sign anything on the spot. Make sure you have a full copy of what you are signing and have time to look it over before you sign. Do not assume anything. (I will add, that this is the first time I have ever left a bad review of any company.)

    I had a salesman come to me at my office to explain how people use their phone book. And to prove it, they will provide the phone numbers and the calls of everyone who called in. They told me that they were very successful at bringing people to call you. I took the chance and signed up and they put me into the book. I talked to the guy again over the phone a time or two again over the next year, and he seemed like a really nice guy.

    So the next time the sales guy showed up in July 2018 (again, seems like a really genuine guy), he came in and we talked about changing some things in the ad, like wording and so forth and we talked about going with only online ads since the book wasn't producing the best. He said he needed me to sign for the changes in the ad for 2018-19 and to sign for it on the line. I said sure, I signed, he talked about going out golfing, and we talked about good fishing holes. Really nice guy, then we moved on with life.

    That brings me to now. Today, Hibu is calling me about my bill for the 2019 to 2020 year. I explained to them that I did not sign up for that year. They said, no, we have a signature of you on file for 2019 to 2020. They said that when the salesperson came in to meet me, that he had me sign for the 2019-2020 year. I explained that there must have been a miscommunication, and their response was, they didn't care, I signed for it, there is nothing they can do, and I am responsible to pay the $576.

    Now let's look at the other end of my situation. My business CLOSED at the beginning of 2019. January 31st of 2019 to be exact. I moved from Pennsylvania, to Kentucky. Why would I want an ad in this area for 12 months especially when the advertised business was CLOSED? There is no reason for this. I never would have agreed to do an ad for the entire 2019-2020. I also explained this to them, again, their response was I signed for it, and they do not care.

    I then called the sales associate back up. After talking to him about our conversation, and again he said "you signed up for 2018 to 19." I explained that my understanding of this would be the year 2018 up to the year 2019. Instead he said, it meant from Dec 2018, until Dec 2019. He then stated, "I would see why you thought what you thought, it was a miscommunication, but there's nothing I can do for you now. You will have to call in and try to negotiate the price for the 2019 year." He said, how he agrees, that he can see why it was misleading, but there was nothing he can do about it. I called back to the main office, explained all of this, again, to the new financial person over the phone, who said they didn't care either, sent me to customer service who also said they couldn't do anything about it.

    When I signed up I told the sales rep numerous times that I didn’t want to sign up for 6 months because if it wasn’t working I couldn’t afford $500 a month to keep it going. She told me numerous times that I could cancel for a small fee if I wasn’t happy. $1,100 in I had received no calls or inquiries. I contacted my sales rep numerous times to try to cancel and got the talk around or no response. Customer service was no help, they simply stated over and over again that I signed a contract and it didn’t matter what the sales rep said because the contract doesn’t say that. I ended up closing my business 3 days after the start of another billing cycle. They insisted that I pay the $500 for the next month’s bill since it had already posted, even though there were 3 weeks left on the cycle.

    I tried to call and reach a reasonable solution and offered to pay a prorated amount up until the business was closed. They said it was all or nothing and they would keep my account open until I paid and it would continue to accrue charges.     On May 23rd 2019 I spoke with a gentleman named Scott. He had a lot of great things to say about Hibu and the amount of years he has been with the company. Based on what he said I purchased some digital services. As a part of our conversation he contacted a lady by the name of Jewel. She was nice and polite and promptly took my payment and assured me, by giving me her number, that if I need her all I have to do is call. Well, it took all of 2 minutes to complete my purchase and then we said our goodbyes. Later that evening, I decided to read reviews on the company. Yes, I know I put the cart before the horse. Anyway, there were enough bad reviews to make me rethink my purchase.

    The next morning on I called to cancel my purchase. I spoke with a lady named Anna. I expressed to her that I wanted my money back. She emailed Jewel and Cc'ed me on the email. She stated that only Jewel can give me my money back. Ok. A few days later I started trying to contact Jewel on the number she gave me but guess who can't be contacted. You guessed it, Jewel. This person is not answering the number they said I could reach them at. I have been calling and calling and calling but I cannot get a response. It took 2 minutes for Jewel to take my money and here it is, June 5th 2019, 13 days later and 8 of which are business days, I have have not received my money. The moral of the story is, companies receive bad reviews for a reason. They earn them. You have been warned not to use this company. Buyer beware.

    A local sales rep from Hibu attempted to steal one of our accounts by telling them that Hibu does not charge ads management fees for running Google Ads. She told the client that Hibu receives "kickbacks from Google Ads" which is not even possible. The rep did not seem to understand that we act as consultants to advise our clients about the best digital marketing platforms and services, even when these platforms and services aren't our own. Because we act as consultants, the client called me to discuss Hibu services. After verifying with Google that the rep had lied about receiving kickbacks from Google and also reviewing Hibu's online reviews, I advised the client that I didn't think they were a good option.

    After harassing me and the client over several weeks, the rep finally figured out she wasn't going to win the account and as retribution she decided to leave negative online reviews about our agency. I have been in this business over 20 years and I have never had such a negative experience with another agency. It's completely unethical and void of integrity. It's clear why this company has literally hundreds of negative reviews online.

    We're a small business and long term HIBU client. Initially started w/ print ads in Plumbing and Sewer. Then "online presence" and smart phones meant expanding marketing. However, our website was never on first page search. Rep wasn't helpful when we asked about why content was incorrect on our web page and why the page didn't populate. So we dropped online and kept up with print ads in phone directories (3 separate books). When we stopped internet ad last year, our rep told us we would pay the same price as previous year because of commission and wouldn't decrease price. The buck stops here. We pay $3k per month for 3 directories and everyone knows the directories aren't delivered to every home/business. What a waste! HIBU seems to only care about money and not the client.

    Was sold a print listing by Patrick ** who promised I would be billed in monthly installments. The very first statement I received had the entire balance as "due upon receipt." I thought maybe it was a mistake, so I remitted the monthly amount, including their $4.00 "billing charge", and a copy of the contract which clearly shows an agreement of monthly installments. The next statement I received had a late charge added, as well as the entire remaining balance "due upon receipt." Patrick is not responding to e-mails.     I discussed with local sale representative from Hibu for the search marketing package and before I signed the contract I repeatedly asked Jason ** and Pegge (two local sale reps) about if there were any commitments to this package. They said I quote “No, you would be able to cancel after 30 days if it doesn’t work for you”. They never went on details about the contract or anything so when they gave me their iPad to sign and I was questioning about why there were even a contract. They said that it is ok to sign because the contract could have been closed if I am not happy.

    I went ahead and started working with them but after sometime I discovered that many of the things that they promised were not fulfilled and when I asked the sales representative to cancel the contract, Jason and Pegge, referred me to the customer service and so we called them. However they just stated that our contract is 12 months and cannot be canceled. When we confronted them with the things that were not working all they said that I am in the contract and there is nothing that they can do. I went ahead and talked to Pegge, the manager, she said she could be able to resolve the issue for me. After two months, nothing has been resolved and I called her again and again but she doesn’t seem to have any interests to help me. I am very upset and I would never do any marketing with Hibu again. There are so many other better companies out there, don’t settle for this ones.

Websites were terrible, no basic SEO present and to make matters worse they couldn't carry on a basic conversation about what the company needed for proper SEO.     Hibu, the moment I joined Hibu, until the time I left, I had nothing but troubles with their SEO department. Nothing was ever accomplished while I had Hibu, and when I told them that I don't want to do business with them any longer, they decided to sue me. Do not ever sign up with Hibu. If you just need a website, you can go to free webbuilder and create your own website. Hibu promised the world full of exposure as far as my website was concerned, however, all I have ever gotten were a few phone calls each month that did not lead to sales. Hibu is the most disgusting SEO company out there. I have had better experiences elsewhere but I wanted nothing but the best for my business so I joined Hibu. Big mistake!

    No one at Hibu SEO department does their job. They make mistakes, never listen to what I have to say regarding my business, call over and over again as if I am in debt. I had paid in full until the time I left Hibu in disgust. Now they want to take legal actions to make me pay more money. I have a gainful employment now as a caregiver for the elderly, and allow me to say this but Hibu workers are nothing but con artists. They pretend to hear you. They pretend to make things sound legitimate, and they act as if they are true professionals, however, as far as I'm concerned, all the employees at Hibu need to get REAL jobs! They lack honesty, they lack professionalism, they lack communication skills, and they severely lack competency.

    Never give a dime to this company because they truly are a monumental waste of time and money. They don't know ANYTHING about SEO. I had better results from prior SEO companies I dealt with such as Gozoak, Ad.iq, and local SEO companies. Lesson learned... just because a company is huge, does not make a company a good one.     Hey kids, talk to your computer illiterate business owning parents about slimy dudes selling HIBU services. Their "professional" web services might be impressive to you if you just woke up from a 15 year coma. The website they made for our company was hideous, the "features" the website comes with are gimmicky at best and just downright offensive to the eyes at worst.

    These include:

    - Exceptionally subpar web design with pixelated and weirdly discolored versions of the images we sent them.
    - A reviews page that inconceivably only shares customer reviews on your own website, as if this is a source ANYONE would trust.
    - Some of the most cringe-inducing, grammatically questionable descriptions of service and quality.

    - A low-res 30 second video that - I swear to god - is just your company logo spinning, where they read the awful and factually inaccurate info listed on the webpage directly above the video.

    They sell themselves on being a sort of outsourced web advertising department, and force you to take on a year long contract to do work literally anyone over the age of 20 could handle in a day or two (speaking from experience as said 20 something). What you have here is a company that basically finds older (45+ year old) business owners and scares them into hiring them by using a bunch of terms relating to SEO and web services they know said business owner will not understand.

    Hang on, there's more! We were forced to stick out the rest of the 12 month contract, paying for their useless HIBU Social service. I dug around online and on our HIBU website and I still have literally no idea what this means and what we were paying for. They wouldn't let us just buy out the rest of the contract so we could forget about this awful experience, which at first just seemed annoying, but we later discovered the real reason they wanted to keep charging us monthly: So that every month THEY COULD PRETEND WE HAD NEVER ASKED THEM TO CANCEL AND WOULD ATTEMPT TO CHARGE US THE WRONG AMOUNT.

    The reason I'm writing this now? The straw that pile-drove the camels back into dust? We just went to make sure we were all set and finished with our contract (ended 4/2) and the customer rep told us WE HADN'T YET CANCELLED AND WANTED ANOTHER MONTH OF PAYMENT. Truly exceptional. If I had three wishes, one would be for world peace, one would be for my student loans to be payed and the third would be that this company never existed.

    The complaints are endless and consistent across all of the negative reviews. The Hibu sales person misrepresented the contract terms and repeatedly made very specific commitments to correct/reverse charges for services not purchased and services purchased that were not fulfilled. Web design was amateurish, corrections weren't made, the site never went live yet my business was invoiced monthly for the design and hosting. Ineffective internal communications, horrible customer service, aggressive collections and no response that dealt with any of the substantive issues. Will likely result in my taking legal action against them. BEWARE, and don't believe their written contract will protect you, regardless of how diligent you are.

    I have a HVAC business in Northern Va. and having very bad experience with Hibu. Salesmen who came from Hibu told me that he's not from Hibu and never gave me a copy of the signed contract. He said that his office will be emailing us the contract. He was lying and afraid of getting caught up so he played this trick. He also said this is a 90 days contract but after 3 months I received the contract which turned out to be a 6 months contract.     This company is a complete ripoff and I WISH I read their reviews before spending a dollar with them. Their sales rep Trisha reached out to me about promoting/advertising my new startup massage business with them. Trisha claimed based on the previous month there were over 20,000 hits for massage services in the area my company is located. She stated a quote for me to pay for them to advertise my business. She then put me in contact with Meghan the person who would illustrate my ad campaign. I was told their ad would be linked to my social media business page, which no such ad was linked.

    As a result, despite their “dashboard” outcome measures, I’ve received no calls nor inquiries about my business from potential clients from their “ad campaign” but instead received a first bill over $400 and was told I am locked in a 6 months agreement that I did not agree to. After making many attempts of telling them to close my account because all I have received are ghost outcomes from them, they continue to harass me through text messages about a 6 months contract. Honestly, I believe this company has violated our consumer rights as business owners and I am open to a class action lawsuit against this company.

    We are a small business and we’re interested in ramping up our marketing efforts when we decided to hire HIBU. We originally had Hibu a while back and Didn’t have any problems. Hoping to revamp our website and aquire new customers we reached out to them again to get a new website and start a display/search ad campaign. What followed was one of the worst experiences I have ever had working with a company. Let me walk you through what will happen if you decide to work with HIBU

    First let's start with the website. Just don’t do it. It comes out horribly and I ended up spending a lot of time explaining what I wanted their “design team” to do, just for them to grossly under deliver every single time. I ended up just canceling it and doing it myself. They did refund me my money but the many wasted weeks and hours of emailing back and forth I won’t be able to get back.

    Next let’s move on to the marketing services. You will originally be assigned to a very good and personable salesman. He will tell you that even though you are hesitant about signing a 6 month contract at $400/month, for a new search campaign, there is no need to worry becuase at the end of the day...we will be getting calls for business left and right. However, once you sign the paperwork, you will never hear from him again. His work is done and you are officially locked into a contract which you are unable to get out of.

    Then at this point you will be assigned to an account manager. I would love to go into how terrible my account manager was but unfortunately it would take me too long. To sum it up I received no clicks, barely any impressions and when I brought it to her attention, she told me to wait until next month because it can take some time to work. Next month came by, the impressions picked up but the calls didn’t. After countless emails back and forth of me telling her how unsatisfied we were with the service. I was told to “relax, I know what I’m doing, I have a college degree in this.” At this point I was done.

    I had pretty much given up on this company at this point....When out of the blue I was called by another account manager saying that he has now picked up my account because our old account manager was “no longer with the company.” He took the time to really listen to my concerns, I explained to him my whole story, he understood, apologized, was empathetic, told me he would check back in after getting our account once and for all squared away. At last I was relieved, one week later...our old account manager calls back giving me an update on our progress....

    I told her what just happened and how someone else called us saying she was fired. Confused she said she would get back to us after figuring out what happened. Never heard from her again. Two months down the line after this, we get a call from someone else again reaching out wanting to meet in person with us to figure out what exactly went on the last couple months. As a sign of good faith we agreed and they came, I explained my story again, and they said they were going to escalate this up the chain to give us a great solution.

    Their solution that they came up with was essentially to try again, give us one month free, but we would have to sign another 6 month contract in order to get the one month free....(some solution) clearly they put a lot of effort into it. Glad I took the time to sit down and explain my story yet again. In all, we spent $2,400 with this company and had little to nothing to show for it. To make matters even worse, the amount of TIME spent dealing with problems in and of itself wasn’t worth it. The only reason I am writing this is because I feel personally obligated to make sure no other business owner has to go through what we did. If any updates come from posting this I will be sure to let everyone know.

    We have been using Hibu for the past 3 months. They went live with our Google ad, advertising the wrong product, before it had been approved. It took 4 weeks to have them change the ad. Then they charged us $400+ at the wrong time after promising us a first month free. Our results are worse than they were when we were spending less per month and handling Google AdWords on our own.

    A month and a half ago I requested the ad be updated. No changes have been made according to the ad displayed on our dashboard. I followed up with this three weeks ago and received no response. Our ad does not even show up when we try to google the keywords. I don’t think it had brought in any business. The dashboard says there may have been one call in 3 months. We are losing money and it is affecting our business. This is our livelihood and no one can even get back to us. They promised us exceptional service and all sorts of business. I feel completely taken advantage of.

    WARNING!!! WARNING!! DO NOT USE HIBU!!! As a small business, I was presented with a package to help manage my website and digital marketing at an affordable cost. What I got was nothing more than aggravation and hassle from a company with people that have no idea what they are doing. And of course, no live website or listing management or anything else I was promised.

    The very simple project of getting a website up and running turned into a four month project with emails and phone calls that go unanswered. A salesperson that then says I should have gone through him to manage the process. They took two months just to get my email address corrected to log into the so called "DIY" tool.

    I tried contacting my "representatives" for more than six months with ZERO response but still received emails of my "Hibu digital marketing results" with charts that are all FLAT LINE!!!! And of course, they continue to bill my account. This company is a SCAM!!! Believe the reviews you are reading from real businesses getting ripped off by this joke of a company. They should be ashamed and they need to be held accountable for their actions.

Our company was receiving emails from our Hibu website contact button but when I tried to reply to the customer I was receiving, "Message Delivery Failure," notices. The situation was made worse because the "Failure" notices weren't coming in until a later date making it appear that we weren't taking care of business. They used non-authorized photos for some Facebook ads, and it was then that the "dislikes" began. Once we dropped them, and did our own FB ads, then likes began increasing. In general, many things were promised and were never delivered.

    I signed to for HIBU to run marketing Campaigns for my company and we agreed to $600 a month. The first week went good. I received 3 leads for the week and I thought this was manageable but shortly after I only received calls for a DIFFERENT type of business. I tried contacting Bill, and Kristen but they would never answer my calls. When I finally got a hold of them, they made a change and I stopped receiving any calls at all. I expressed to them after a month that I wasn’t happy with this and that I was losing money because the campaign wasn’t working. They told me they would help but a couple of more weeks passed by and I haven’t received anything leads AT ALL.

    I called to cancel and explained to them that I can’t afford to keep paying $600 a month for a service I am not receiving. They said they would cancel and I waited a week for them to contact me. I called and Kristen answered and told me she would ask Brenna to call me back. She never did. I had to call today to talk to her and she transferred me to the claims department who told me they will not cancel because I have a contract for 6 months. This is not right. I don’t believe I should have to suffer for 4 more months of paying for a service I am not receiving. I didn’t have a problem for paying someone for their services but I do have a problem of having to pay for something that I haven’t received and also has not Been working!

    DON'T USE HIBU. I'm a Mortgage Lender in Rochester, MN and I trusted HIBU with $1320 per month to create advertising/marketing through Google Adwords and Facebook. I was given information by their sales rep at the time, Troy Irvine, that this would benefit my business with plenty of leads and clients that it would more than pay for itself.

    That is the farthest thing from the truth. This is by far and away, the biggest waste of money and time with any form of advertising that I've done. Then, to top it off, they rope you into a minimum 6 month contract which is complete BS. If you aren't producing for your client, you should let your client out so they don't have to write bad reviews like this. DO NOT USE HIBU. I COULD FLUSH MONEY DOWN MY TOILET AND GET THE SAME RESULTS. Then, Mike **, the Area Manager with HIBU, doesn't follow through and get things fixed. I've emailed him 3 times over the span of a month to get things cancelled and the only response that I've gotten is, "I'm waiting to hear back from corporate." Another delay tactic to take more money from clients. DO NOT USE HIBU.

    Been with Hibu for three years, we are a small non profit. And we’re being charged a ridiculous amount for web hosting, without SSL layer (I just came aboard and noticed this). They have bankers hours, if you need to speak to someone about your account it takes days to get it fixed. Can’t change anything with your account online, which is ludicrous as it’s business is online. Finally decided to go elsewhere and am still being charged for a month when we are no longer with them. We will be disputing that charge when the bill arrives. Do yourself a favor, keep looking when Hibu comes up in your search.

    The advertising in question was ordered on 11/16/18 and the campaign was set live on 12/3/18. The minimum contract term is 12 months. While the campaign only brought 3 leads in 75 days, we believe the campaign needs time to ramp up. To resolve the matter, we adjusted the first month of billing plus the proration on 1/17/19. 2/13/19 the client submitted the review on the Consumer Affairs Website. In the interest of Client Relations, we have agreed to cancel the contract early.

    My transportation company was approached by Hibu. Had rep Kimberly from Mineola Texas. For nearly a year she would not return my calls or messages never spoke with her after. My website looked like a child made in their computer class. Took 4 hours of my time to correct. So many run-on sentences, bad spelling; the punctuation made it appear even sadder to the public. The pictures didn't match the sections. It was not worth the 137 A month. None of my listings were kept updated as the company agreed. Left my company to having to completely redo the whole website and update listings constantly.

    Seems we had more luck doing our own marketing. We visited the website daily to see if it were still up. Sadly our company visited it more than customers. The listings management didn't do well. Could of got better listings management doing it myself which is what my company ended up doing meanwhile, still paying Hibu. Once we completed designing our website ourselves it looked nice. Then there is the cancelation part. It's mere impossible to cancel. Why would I continue to pay for something that isn't working.

    Hibu has ran my company in circles. Trying to cancel the services with them. They say to reach out to my rep which was Mia and now fired. Then to technical support then to other support. Spent many minutes on the phone asking to cancel. Have emails and phone recordings and still they do not cancel and continue to charge me. Not a good company or honest company. Do not recommend doing business with them. ** Cancel my contract please.

    If I could give zero stars, I would, but I was forced to give one in order to leave this review. Hibu over-promises and grossly under-delivers. We were just starting to take off with our digital marketing, but I wanted to take one chore "off my plate." Unfortunately I chose Hibu because I liked their sales rep. Although she is a great person, her company does not deliver. I have absolutely no experience in PPC ads, but when I did the job we were starting to climb up in rankings, page position, and most of all, paying clients! When I turned it over to Hibu, the phones literally went dead. Dead... Did I mention they never rang? Devastated! We are a new solo office/business, just starting to gain a foothold so we can't survive with NO new clients.

    When I tried to get help from the sales manager, I was threatened that "If I didn't pay my bill in full then I'd have to take it up with collections as well as his company attorneys." WOW! All I had asked is what HE could do for ME, the client, and HOW he could get our phones to ring again! For the past two months, our business has taken a nasty downward turn in new business and it's because of the choke-hold put on us by Hibu. They refused to release me from my contract even after I asked. They refused to guarantee me ANY RESULTS in their marketing AND I was told that, "Sometimes you have to fall down the ladder to climb back up..." WHAT? This is NOT a game!

    I spoke to a CS rep who was nicer and took $300 off my bill but I still owe over a thousand and get calls every day. We've only taken in two new clients since I switched to Hibu, and although it may be dumb luck, one is a person with limited ability to pay and the other is in similar shape. Not sure how that's going to keep the lights on AND pay Hibu!

    Yesterday I started up my old Google Ads and saw that their landing pages are showing as code "403-Forbidden." If I could post a screenshot, I would. After an hour call to Google, they showed me all the coding that is incorrect with the Hibu website and what it would take to fix it... Ummmmm... Wasn't that HIBU'S job? I thought I hired professionals who stand behind their work. I would have been happy to be released from their contract and being offered a payment plan for the poor advertising campaign, just to get away from them. Instead of working with a client closely to get them on track, all it has been is a disaster AND a refusal to release us so we can move on.

    I signed up with Hibu in November 2018. Was promised new monthly ads, planning meetings, and listings management. The first ad they tried to make me use looked like a kindergartener had made it. (Can you say "computer generated"?) When I expressed dissatisfaction, the associate stopped responding to my emails. I insisted on being transferred to someone else and was placed with the team lead. I provided the wording AND the photo. They did NOT provide keyword research, etc. like I was promised.

    It has been the same ad since Nov with ZERO contact or planning meetings. There is a "dashboard" that the client is responsible for filling in completely. They don't mention this in their sales pitch! About 5-6 weeks into my service I learned that I was supposed to have been walked through this at sign up. Know when someone contacted me to do this? AFTER I requested cancellation. In January. Now for the listings management. In 3 months, they STILL have not done this correctly. My licensure requires specific wording NOT be used. Guess what? Wording is STILL listed. Exactly what I asked them NOT to use. They continue to try to hold me to my contract. It is not legally binding if they are not providing the services! Somebody please help me. This place is a nightmare to work with.

    I subscribed to Hibu for a Website creation and digital marketing since October 2018. I am totally dissatisfied with the service I received to date as I have gained no business for this service. I was coerced into verbally signing a contract without given a hard or digital copy and locked in a 12-month contract for substandard website creation. My daughters said it look like something from the early 80s. When I approached the organization about terminating my service, I was threatened by Digital Consultant and I quote, “We are going to make it UNCOMFORTABLE for you.”

    I am paying $150 per month and not received have not received any phone call or email related my business. This service is not making me any money. They even tried to extort more money from by offering me (Display Ad) service. This is how Hibu representative treat their inexperience clients. I had the website reviewed by several professionals and they are reporting a lot of discrepancies. I am going to continue to pay as I agreed to verbally. I don’t expect any better service. This organization is just there to collect and not produce. If asked, I strongly recommend not doing business with Hibu.

    This company reached out to me when I was already doing a marketing campaign on Facebook. They come in saying they could help me get even better results. I told them I really only wanted to focus on boosting ads on Facebook which was already working. Of course, they want to sell you a website too. After six months, I've gotten no results from this company. What's worse, I stopped doing my own campaign thinking they would take the wheel and do what we discussed. That didn't happen. $700 a month. Very disappointed. I've been calling Brett ** to help me. He talks a good game too but doesn't lift a finger really to actually help. I contacted him several times to find out where my money was actually being spent because it doesn't seem to be on Facebook ads.

    Finally, I said forget it. Waste of my time and waste of my money. I could have done it better myself. I should have known when they tried to talk me into spending $3000 more a month to get the "premiere service" person working on my account. Implying that I would get someone with better skills. I cannot say if spending $3,000 more a month would have gotten me anyone better, but I can say that the person that they assigned to my account was a clown that never sounded like he knew what he was doing.

    I finally said enough and called to cancel. They told me that they are charging me for another whole month and that the reviews that were pushed upon me, which I never really wanted in the first place, could not be canceled for another six months. What a complete joke of a company!!! To be clear, I sat down with their salesperson we agreed to give this six months. It is now six months. Now the reviews they're telling me I have to pay for another six months even though I have never used that service and I will never use that service.

    I am not happy with this company at all, I was informed that if I was not happy with the product of my website within the first month or if something changed I was able to cancel and receive a refund of the money I spent towards the account.     Completely incompetent company. Support reads out of their manuals and have no true knowledge of what they are doing. "Can you please hold for a short moment while I look into that?" is their most used phrase. We bought a company four months ago that was in contract with HIBU. They tried to bill us for yellow book services for 2020 saying the previous owner bought those services the day before we took over. The previous owner denies this and even was in a three way phone call with HIBU. We reached out to our rep who informed us that they won't even be providing yellow book services for the year 2020. Which is what this phantom charge is for. Our rep told us that he can't get anything done through "corporate". He has to try to use personal connections at the Tulsa office to get anything accomplished.

    I tried to email our rep last month to help get our domain transferred. Received an automated response that he is no longer with the company. Sent an email to support asking for our new rep info 4 weeks ago, no response. Just the generic "We have received your request. You will hear from us in 48 hours". We are going on 3 months now trying to get ownership of domain transferred. We have sent all requested documents multiple times. Horrible service. Always a different "Customer support" agent. They return the email from their generic support email. A new person responds and asks for some type of proof of ownership that has already been sent in. Send it to them again to only get a response from a completely different person asking for another document that was sent into one of the previous support agents.

    Only time we hear from anyone is from their "collections" wanting paid for their 2020 yellow book service that is not even a product they will be offering. Have made multiple requests for proof of the purchase of that service. They say they will check into it. Never hear anything back, until a collections person calls wanting paid for the 2020 yellow book service. (Rinse and repeat.) One "Customer Support" agent told us that we are just 1 of a thousand of companies he deals within a day. We are now having to seek legal counsel to get control of domain. RUN!

    This company has been extremely difficult to deal with. With the actual printed directory books ending, we chose to put our marketing dollars to work with another company. Our contracts timed out on the printed ads, so just needed to cancel the online reputation management program that was on a month-by-month contract. I have now been trying for over a month to get this account canceled! After originally being told that the account would close out at the end of November, we received an invoice on Dec 1st for another month of this program. After contacting them again, I was told that the former representative was incorrect and I needed to submit an email request for cancellation. After submitting this request, I was told that I was not authorized to cancel this account as I was not the original signer on the contract. So then we submitted another email cancellation request from the original signer.

    A week later there is an email confirming the request but now saying we have to call in to discuss the cancellation. I call in as requested and ask why after a over a month's time this account still isn't cancelled out?? No good answers from Hibu... Holidays are given as an excuse (which would be fine if we hadn't started this process way before Christmas and New Years). I'm told the cancellation is being processed and will only take a few more days. A FEW MORE DAYS - after a month. This is ridiculous. In the meantime, I have not been able to transfer this service to another provider because they have not released the account. I have had few complaints prior to this beyond questioning whether it was actually worth the investment, but they have been so difficult to work with through this latest process that I would never even consider working with them again down the road.

    I made a mistake this is the wrong company. I switched from Delmarva Now to Hibu and I am getting results right away. The Representative with Hibu and my Person running my ads are great and let me say I have gotten 6 or 7 calls that has resulted in 4 jobs. Sorry for the mistake

    Our company tried their social marketing products. Made all these claims about being a Facebook premier partner. The representative was great and easy to get a hold but the manager who was with him talked about the marines and how he was worked for Google and this was going to work for me but zero engagements and client from it.

    I cannot even begin to explain how terrible of a company and how awful my company's experience has been with Hibu. When we working together they were displaying pictures one of our services with descriptions of other services we offer. When I called them out on it, it took WEEKS for them to fix it. I managed to get through the 6 months of our contract before canceling. However, the canceling process has been an absolutely nightmare. It took 4 calls just to get someone to agree to "start the process" and even longer to complete the process. This delay of course made them attempt to charge me for another month of service. They are a flat out bad company that offers terrible service with worse support.

    Easy to sign up for 12 month contracts over the phone but as a 1st year business & struggling to find customers for our service, they denied us a lesser month contract & kept telling us nothing they could do because it's standard policy & could not offer us any lower fees or months of service. Also we called them to "try" their "Review" service & again very easy for them to add it to our acct. & send us another contract for us to sign. Unfortunately, we did not read the fine print which was for another 12-mos. We were only interested in trying it for 3-months. Again, when asked to remove it, they said nothing they can do & we should have read the contract. I do NOT recommend anyone go with Hibu. I do recommend BrandRep as they will work with your budget & smaller contracts.

They had a very well laid out format for me to fill out that was simple and not drawn out. Randy was very easy to work with and willing to work around my crazy schedule.
