    We love Thryv. It's pretty valuable and it allows us to do the training portion more easily. It also allows people to book a specific instructor, and then the instructor would get on this app. We wanted to eliminate the middleman, like a secretary that we have when people book and call the instructor to see if it’s available, then call the student, and then confirm. This made it all streamlined perfectly. It’s not just an app to help us but also makes sure that we have reviews, and that we’re ranked high in Google. It’s a one-package deal, so it really does a lot of the work for us. The representatives always contact me back. We had a few issues, just like I heard nothing. Once they knew that I was having those, they assigned me somebody else and fixed those right away. They’ve been better than expected.

    We absolutely love Thryv. Customer service is amazing. Their guy, Antonio, was absolutely phenomenal at showing me how to do everything. It has only been a couple of months that we've done this service. Mickey is also a special individual and he goes above and beyond every single time that I needed something. He is amazing to have in your corner. He gets right back to you and is quick. Anything that I need, he goes in, does it, and helps me do it.

    We do a lot of invoicing through Thryv. Our basic CRM is through them and we also have our website. We do all of our social media content through Thryv. With the building of the website, the rep Julia was great. When I had an issue, she fixed it. There were a couple of spelling errors and Julia went right in and took care of them or she showed me how to take care of them. I referred Thryv a million times.

    We had an appointment with Thryv and we got in touch with everybody. I really liked the poll, scheduling online and being available to book stuff when we weren't in the office because people could book things themselves. I have one person in particular that I like to work with. Mikayla is my go-to person. I also haven't had a terrible experience with some of the other people that I talked to. Sometimes, I talk to some people out in India. They usually speak very good English. But sometimes, I've had a time where one or two of them didn't know as much as I knew, and so that was a little frustrating. But for the most part, everybody's been pretty good.

    Now that we're with Thryv, our phone calls are reduced by about 75%. We are making money when we are not in the office. We are able to share documents over the computer. We have a little bit of a different type of workload, but it has decreased my workload in general by quite a bit. It's been a little bit of a learning curve for some of the employees, but they are definitely getting the hang of it. It has really made us much more efficient. We’re so much more organized with our client stuff.

    I joined a franchise group and since they had Thryv set for when we started our business, I'm the end user right now. We use Thryv to track when opportunities come in and use it to track through the completion. We use it for scheduling too. I like the aspects of being able to schedule appointments. There are ranges from coming out and given estimates to having work completed. That is really handy and nice to have. We are also able to create invoices from my estimates and we can track who has paid and who has not.

    I had a problem with my social media thing when we tried to do some changes on my Facebook page. Even though I was the only administrator, it wouldn’t allow me to do anything so we had to put in a request. Thryv said it's gonna take four to six weeks before we hear anything back from them about that. Other than that, I was impressed with what I'm getting right now. I'm only a few months in. Everything else has been great. Everybody is very upbeat and knowledgeable about their positions when they speak with me about what they're supposed to be doing and what I'm doing. I love Thryv right now. I’m looking forward to doing our video shoots so I can see what kind of service I'm gonna get there. I've already sent three other people to them and two have already signed up.

    Thryv made me what I thought was a good offer. I already had a website but the Thryv rep was telling me about the problems on my existing website. I had discussions with her and also talked to my current people. They brought up some interesting issues. I asked if there was any way they could work together. They had a conversation and worked things out. However, my biggest frustration with Thryv is every time I turned around, I got a new rep. A lady told me she was gonna be right there with me and she was for a while. We were supposed to have a meeting and get back together after the holidays but never did.

    I wanted to get my company advertised on the web. Thryv's representative seemed great. But they did the exact opposite of what I asked them to do. I’m a refrigeration and air conditioning guy but I do not work on residential refrigerators nor do I work on window units. What were my approach advertisements? Window units and residential air conditioning. I also said I sell Mitsubishi mini split air conditioners but I really don't want to push those. I just want to put it in there that I do them. What is the very next advertisement that I see? Mini split air conditioners. Nobody called me for this stuff.

    For six months, I'm paying $350 a month and nobody went to my website. The advertisement that they were doing was the wrong type so I just said, “Screw it, I just need the website. And I don't need a push advertisement company.” I'm wanting to take more control over that website and switch from Thryv to a different company. I'd tell others to save their money. I wish it had worked out with Thryv. I paid the money because I wanted to have a name in my city. But I can’t even get a local response from anybody. The only phone calls I did get were from other people calling me to find out how Thryv's service was.

    I liked what Thryv was offering. They've always been professional and have done a good job. They've been pretty valuable. They do a little bit more than what I need because of the spam insurance industry. It wasn’t gonna work for us the way that it would for other people, like the client services and other things. But being able to message customers is good as well.

    I liked the contact management, the social media posting and that I could track things on the calendar. They have great customer service too. I’ve used the chat, I've called, and I've called my local rep. Anytime I have a question, they're easy to get ahold of and solve any questions. However, with social media, when I do e-blast, it is definitely not user-friendly. So I end up going to MailChimp instead and go through that because Thryv doesn't serve the purpose. But I'm happy with their service so I've recommended it to a few people.

    I was really interested in Thryv's texting program but it didn't work out for me. I had customer numbers that we had saved for two years and we planned on texting specials to our customers. After we imported over 4,000 phone numbers, I was told by Thryv that we can't do mass texting. It's against federal law. But when they sold me the program, they told me that I could do that. That was a little misleading. But the customer service of the people that I've dealt with is fine. They're great people. We downgraded our service with them and all they're doing right now is hosting our website for us.

    Everything is running great with Thryv but there are a few things that we would love to see happen for us that would make it a lot easier to search. We are a plumbing business and we do a lot of realtors’ rental property. It's a lot to try to find what we did at so and so address. You can't even search an address in the search bar or an invoice number for that matter, so searching for something that we previously did is very hard. Other than that, their service has been very valuable to us. We went paperless with them. We've always used paper invoices and paper estimates, so it was tough relinquishing the control. But once we did it, it's been very helpful and we really like it. All in all, Thryv has an awesome program, plus they are critiquing, updating, and learning as they go.

    The people from Thryv are great and patient. But I don't like Thryv on my cell phone. Unfortunately, I have to have it there. But I would rather see all of this stuff come to my email address as opposed to my phone because my phone is just impossible to use. I'm just one of those people. I'm 70 and I don't like using phones for anything other than making phone calls and texting. But for people who are tech-savvy and can get a handle on using the phones, Thryv is perfect.

    My experience with Thryv has been totally awesome. I worked with a girl by the name of Amanda every week and I never had an issue. It saved me a lot of time having Thryv. I don’t have to do anything as far as my website goes. She sends out my promotions and my campaigns for me. She works with my Shopify for me. I send her a picture.     I spent 10,000 trying to get results with no luck. The day I called to cancel, one of their employees in customer care - Vick ** - called me at home to tell what a horrible company Thryv was. He promised me he'd make it right and help me by taking over my SEO. He assured me Thryv was ripping me off. So, being upset about all that loss of money, I decided to give him a try. Paid the guy 1,300 and he did nothing. Now he's trying to extort me for more money, threatening to run me and my business. So far, their legal department has done nothing to help me, and are ignoring me. This guy is a nut and keeps texting me threatening messages. No help from Thryv. Now they say they've "cut ties" with him, and won't do anything. News flash! If Thryv had done their job and not deceived me in the first place, I wouldn't have been put in this position. It's they responsibility to fix this. But, they won't. I hope they go under. Horrible company.

    Our district manager was looking for a texting solution. He found Thryv and we set up a meeting with them. It's always been our philosophy that we don't buy a software then try to force it to fit into our business. We told Thryv there were a few things that they needed to do if they wanted to earn our business - texting to our office phone numbers, being able to API to QuickBooks and texting appointments. It was a little rocky at first. They weren't used to a couple of things that we wanted but they did it.

    It started when I had Dex/YP which is now Thryv build a website for me. They asked for the log in credentials to my URL which they then registered in their name and became the owner of my domain. Then they build a website for me. Then I come to find there is important coding that they do not use that according to Google is needed on your website. It is called Schema coding. Now after they build the website if find out that I am only leasing the site and do not own it and when I left have to create an entire new site. The information that they used from my old site that I owned is gone. I was then charged for something called Thryv software that was never used or knew how to use it or what it did. I thought the price I was paying was for the website and not this software.

    Now when it comes to Google advertising, we were doing Google Pay Per Click. I had asked them what percentage of my advertising dollars went to the management of the program. I was never able to get an answer to the question. One of the biggest issues is they were advertising for services we do not offer. They are not listed on the website either.

    Our website was moved from Dex/YP Thryv and they had no access to it. When I inquired about the Google PPC advertising the person on the phone said, "You don't need a website to do Google PPC advertising" which is FALSE and their staff who answers the phone are basically clueless. Now that we have cancelled everything we have no online access to anything and have to rely on Dex/YP Thryv for information which is apparent they don't know their products. When I inquired about the bills I continue to get with some of the items that were never used I am told they bill 2 months in the rear. They are the most un-organized company I have dealt with and when you call their customer service it appears you are calling the Philippines and they repeat everything you say. The worst experience I have ever had.

    I got a call from Cheryl and on her call, she wanted to see if we had enough advertisement, or if we needed help with that. And she was like, "I can meet you for coffee." This was before COVID. We scheduled a meeting, and then the whole week, I was like, "Oh, I don't want to go to this meeting." But I ended up showing up.

    I decided to go with Thryv because after our meeting, I told the rep I would think about it. And she said, "I'll check back with you in a week." She called me back within a week and she said, "What are your thoughts on it?" I had 2000 questions and she answered all of them. A month went by and she called me. She said, "Can I check back with you in a week?" And then she would call me back and I'd have more questions. I was talking to a couple other people and they would be like, "Oh, you have to go with our company, because this and this and this." And they would call me every day, and I would be like, "Look, I can't take your calls every single day. I already told you I need to think about it." That's one of the main reasons why I felt comfortable. Plus, she just was always going to answer all my questions.

    Thryv did our website, we have the software, we did the printed book, and we upgraded our package not too long ago. Thryv is one of the best. It's the best deal that I could find because I get everything in one. I have a separate email system so I do not go through my personal email trying to find messages between customers. Also, my estimates are there, I can create an invoice, I take payments. I can even set up to send text messages, and I can send and receive documents. What more could you need?

    The website is fine. We use it mainly for booking the appointments. The owner likes using it for doing the additional advertising on social media, so she's been having more contact for that. I mainly handle the calendar part, and the biggest impact would be the recollection of our clients when it comes to the calendar reminders. Because before using it, we would send text messages, and some of our clients either wouldn't receive them or they ignored it, especially when it was just a one-time text message with our address and a reminder of the date. Now with Thryv, I've been seeing that since they get more text messages automatically get done, and then afterward, a reminder to call us back if they wanted to set up an additional consult, that’s helped out a lot.

    We don't hear from anybody from Thryv unless one of us sends an email with a problem, and we only had issues in the beginning, trying to get used to it. Some stuff, we were still not too sure where they were. They helped us with showing us where the links were. Other than that, everything else has been great. The main two people that have been my primary go-to’s were Thomas and then Jennifer. Thomas was with us from the beginning and until the end of set up, and then I haven't heard much from him after that. On the other hand, Jennifer would be the one that would send me all the links and when I didn't know where to go, she would be the one to always answer me.

    We have had hiccups with Thryv. They told us that the ACH fee was 1% but when we used it, it was 1% plus $1, which meant that Thryv took even more money away from us. We were losing money for that. Then, it was another dollar fee for the scheduled payment fee and 30 cents for something else. When I called up our sales guy, he said they don't even know about that and they were told it was 1% and that's it. He got on the phone, we called Thryv, and all three of us went round and round. The salesman and I ended up figuring out a way where we wouldn't lose money but Thryv didn't help us.

    Also, one time, I asked for help canceling a payment. Somebody made a payment and the very next day, he called and said he was withdrawing. I canceled it on there but the payment went through anyway. We reached out for help when we encountered those hiccups but really didn't get help, even though they tried. But it's a good program and it accomplishes what we need it to do. It's been helpful with reviews, tracking customers, and being able to tag and send out.

    We were looking for something that we could integrate everything together so that our database and our ability for us to reach clients and vice versa was easier, was a smoother transition and was something that would work for our customers' privacy factor as well as ours. Thryv has been a learning curve on a couple of different things but other than that, it's been good. It helped us get a lot of our stuff together so that everything is not here, there and everywhere. We are now using it for processing our credit cards. We're looking at possibly integrating our QuickBooks into it now that that's available. That way, it will post our payments straight up to our QuickBooks.

    The web team we worked with in designing things was fantastic. They were full of great ideas and were very helpful in redesigning our website. Stacey, the rep I work with on a monthly basis, lets me know if she sees something come up that she knows would benefit us. I've had no problem with the Thryv reps and everything has worked well. We've recommended Thryv to other businesses at this point. Some of them are a little small for using this because it's a little expensive for them, but price-wise, it's not bad. It's just that it's not necessarily economical for the small business.

    We have been looking for a way to make everything universal so that all three locations could access the same information at the same time. Alan reached out to me this past winter and we did some research. He showed us around and we decided to give Thryv a shot and see if it was something that would work for our business. So far, our experience has been excellent. The biggest thing is it's not exactly geared towards our line of work, so we have to tweak it a bit. It would be helpful if there was more options and ways to set it up that worked towards what we do. But it's a good place for everything to be in one location.

    We have three different locations. We offer many different services at each location. We also have one office manager per location. Right now, if somebody doesn't answer at the Morrisville or the New Haven location, it gets transferred to me here in White River. In order for me to find out the status of that particular client, I would have to call that location and wait for a response back. But with Thryv, we're able to put everything into one place and access it. We like that we can invoice. Unfortunately, doing estimates is not really geared towards us, so we haven't really used that portion of it yet. We cannot have an open balance in Thryv. So when a payment is made, we have to keep track of it in a different software as to how much that client still owes because there's no way to record it in Thryv. But we do take a lot of payments using Thryv. We enter a lot of client information in it. For the most part, we love the software.

    We do have a Lead program with Thryv that's super unsuccessful. It is terrible. It's not appropriate. I don't think they know what they're doing in that department. We thought we got out of it, but from the last payment, there was no response from the guy we dealt with. His name is Andrew and he doesn't call. We've even had two supervisors send him emails and telling him to call us. He still hasn't reached out to me since that payment was made. He doesn't care to be on the phone with us at all. We've already hired another person to take over that, so I'm not sure why we're being charged for it again. As far as the software for scheduling, Thryv's fine. Thryv as a marketing is what we were sold on. The software's great. They marketing for the plumbing that we've gotten from them is not very good. I don't feel like they're competent in advertising for us.

    With Thryv there's no contract, supposedly, which is not true. When I wanted to meet Thryv in the three months of using it, I said, “Wait a minute, how can I not cancel? I have to wait six months to have Thryv before I cancel?” Then it's six months, and I called to cancel. I’d have to wait another 30 days. I would not recommend Thryv. I had a really bad experience. I told them that I wanted them to refund me because I had already made a few calls of wanting to cancel Thryv. They saw the messages. I'm sure every time a client calls, there's a message that is left on the screen. So, any Thryv representative can see. The one I spoke with said, “Well, I'm sorry, I can't help you.”

    A Thryv salesperson, Catharine, reached out. I was doing advertising on Facebook, and she introduced herself through that way, and she signed us in. I liked the aspect of the estimates and the website. The thing is I’ve been asking them to post and get me reviews. They told me that they would get me to where I would be up in the top five of the remodeling here in Baldwin County. You put remodeling and it doesn't even show up. It's way down there. Catharine told me that Thryv was gonna do reviews and make it to where it gains points in Google. I don’t see that happening. So, I’m pretty upset with all that. I've already expressed this to someone who called a couple months ago and she said that she is gonna fix the problem, but I don’t see anything changing.

    We had have nothing but problems with DexYP since we started with them a few years ago. We were conned into thinking we NEEDED to use them to be in the phone book. We cancelled the service in October of 2020, they only cancelled the phone book, not the online. I called at the end of the year as were still getting bills. I have returned the bills to them clearly stating that we cancelled the service.

    I called again at the beginning of April, spoke to a man name Chris. He said it was going to be cancelled and we were good. Well, they sent another bill on May 1st with additional charges on it. I called again today and they said they had no record of me canceling it until April. That is a flat out lie, as I did contact them. In reading the reviews for them online now, I can see that they have scammed most everyone that has dealt with them. I want the charges removed, and they refuse.

    We want to use Thryv for marketing and to send out things to the customers. We can't really load all our contacts in there. We're having difficulty because Thryv is all set up. Unless you're some kind of tech savvy person and you know how to set it up, it works out well. But we don't. We have over 3000 customers. Someone tried to show us how to do the set up and it is a lot. There needs to be conversion of work easier to get our customers into the Thryv system. That's the only thing I don't like.

    I have this whole column here. That's the inbox, calendar, client sales document, and I only use social content part. I love that I can go in there and pre-post things because I do more than just social media for my dad. That helps out. Customer service-wise, everyone that helped me has been good. There's Olivia who my dad had been dealing with for years with the ad and the book. Olivia started off well but then she got us in and it was, "Bye." She said she reached out to me when they had new stuff out but she didn't.

    I signed up for Thryv because it had like the text messaging offer and communicating with customers through their web chat. They also have this platform, but I gotta put up the content on my own. Thryv will help you set things up. But they could do more classes and more training because some things are a little bit hard to figure out. We're trying to do like a text campaign or an email campaign, and I talked to one of the tech support people over at Thryv. When you copy a campaign and you send it out, the email changes, but it doesn't change the text. It sends out the same text message as the previous message. It doesn't update. Also, we have two Google My Business for two locations. I wanna be able to post on both locations at the same time when we do like a Facebook and Instagram. Google My Business can only post to one Google My Business.

    The rep from Thryv saw one of my service signs on the road and reached out to me. We had a meeting and he offered me his services face to face through a meeting that we had. Everything sounded good and it was a perfect situation at the exact time that I needed it. I'm a small business and I just started my business a couple of years ago. I don't have a lot of free time nor the capability to put quality social networking presence out there. Thryv provided a lot more than I needed, all the way up to invoicing and scheduling stuff, such as calendar type applications. But the only thing I needed was somebody doing my social media.

    When I was first starting up, Thryv got me an account on all the major social media sites and showed me how they do updates and posts for me. Then, they showed me how I can do my own if I want to do some in addition to what they do. Everything now is done through emails but when we were first starting it up, we did it all through Zoom meetings. But they were super nice people. And they said that I could store my customers on the Thryv. That’s why I went with it. I can do what I want on it.     I was looking for a secure client portal that was HIPAA compliant so that when I communicate with my clients, they could upload documents and things. A HIPAA compliant platform is what I was looking for. When I put in HIPAA compliant platforms on the web, Thryv, Salesforce, and some other companies came up. The customer service with Thryv has been really beyond expectation. Thryv does social media for me, which is part of my package. They preset posts to go out monthly to a couple of platforms. They sent me a notice to review them. The content was good, but I wasn't satisfied with some of the photos that didn't represent the diversity of my business. I just responded to their email. Within five minutes, I got a call. They sent me over to a person on their team. She went through every photo with me and changed it while we were on the phone. She also made a note of my concern of the widely representation that I'm looking for.

    Thryv has been extremely valuable, especially setting the foundation for the things I need and how it works. I'm still at the point where I'm still working on getting customers. But when I look at the things that I need to do for the customers, as far as the other things like lead magnets, Thryv has the platform in place. When I meet with these companies, they want to sell me different things. I'm like, "I already have that. That's not what I need. I need this." So it's good to know that.

    When people go to my website, they see everything on a website, anything they use to contact me that's not my phone number. But when they click on that, that's basically how they communicate with me. I have the Thryv contact form. So, if they don't go in and click a client portal, and they just fill out a contact form, they're still going to Thryv. That's their main line of communication to me, unless they call me. I tend to not want everyone to call. I want them to go through the Thryv portal because it's private. They can communicate a little more effectively on that.

    I've told people about Thryv, and they see the price. But with everything that Thryv does, if I was to go to a company for each of those services, I would be paying way more. I was also looking at Decibel and Salesforce. I quickly eliminated them because they were too much, and they couldn't do it. Then there was also another one that therapists use when they have their rooms. I sat through quite a few presentations, and all of them had additional services that could be there if I needed them, but their additional services was a bunch of things that weren't a priority to me. With Thryv, the only thing I think that I'm not taking advantage of right now is them building me a website because I already have my website. But it's good to know that there's a website there that could still be built for other things that I need. And I don't think the website is a big chunk of that price for everything else that I'm getting with them.

    When you deal with multiple companies, you're dealing with multiple customer service. But Thryv has 24 hours customer service for me. So whether I go on my platform, chat with them, call them or I respond to an email, someone can always help me. But if it has to deal like with my HIPAA compliant portal, there's a specific team that deals with that with some of those matters.

    Since I signed up six months ago, I met with the onboarding person weekly to navigate those things. Then I have a social media team. I've been meeting with that person for like the last several weeks. It's been one on one weekly to walk me through things that's specific to my business. If I have a question, they say, "Well, this is how you do it." Then they give me homework, but they have the hands-on and they’re showing me how it works. They've always been available. In setting up my webpage, I had to do one that was Google, and I messed something up. I texted her and said, "I think I screwed something up." She called and said, "Oh, okay. No. We just have to do this and that." They're very patient and teachable. I feel like I have my own private team as part of my business, which is saving me from hiring employees to do this because I'm paying Thryv to do it.

But now there have been a couple months with Thryv that my content is being posted hours before.     The reps were very helpful and supportive. They were very knowledgeable of their program. I was always looking for a nice business in a box, and that's what Thryv is. Since I've had Thryv, I've been able to organize all my customer bases, my invoices, and other necessary needs. But Thryv does lack in some areas for certain companies like myself and others. I wish they had the ability to upload our own contracts and submit it with invoice.

    My season opens up in less than 30 days and I'm on here on Adobe Creator and PDFMaker making my own forms. But I wish I could upload those forms and be able to fill them out on Thryv with an invoice to intertwine them so customers can just pay with the invoice itself instead of me to having to take what I've already written out and then go to Thryv and send an invoice. It would be so much easier if I could do it all in one. It would help my company greatly, but it would help contractors greatly because they have a different parameter that they follow on being able to upload a scope of work or warranties and being able to do it from one location.

    The $200 a month on the Thryv is a little high considering they don't have a lot of features. They're adding other features that are prominent to other businesses. But it's very basic for me. The rate should be a little less, like 150 or $100 a month for a basic service because I have to go to third party to finish things that Thryv can't do. So I'm paying out all this extra money for third-partying Adobe Illustrator.

    I've had some really off-the-wall requests, and they were able to kind of walk me through how to do certain things to make it the way I need it to go. They've done pretty well.     Everything that Thryv got built-in was what I was looking for, without being the cost of Salesforce. This included their social media and email marketing, online booking, the ability to create a client store, and to create that digital file card for all the clients so that I don't have to keep track of them on my own. Every time I have even the slightest issue, I do the little chat thing online. It gets solved within a day, but usually within 30 minutes. There are other ones out there that I could have used that are less intuitive. But for me, I'd rather pay the extra and have all the extra things, instead of being like everybody else and kind of be stuck in the mud. Although it's not crazy what you can do with Thryv, it's enough for a small business like mine to work with perfectly. They have the reputation management and the social media posting, and then, just keep adding more so it gets better.

    I reached out to Thryv in December after seeing my friend's website. I paid $250 for onboarding fee. You will get a credit in 30 days if you go in and out of the software 13 times. No problem I have a few calls and started loading my client base. I noticed the birthday campaign was not working so I reached out the the expert in that dept. He said "Well it should work." Keep in mind this product is $350 a month and thus far I'm getting nothing after they collected all the data needed to get started at least posting on social media...Nothing ..Bottom line this is not for me.

    I reached out and wrote a cancellation letter stating my dislike about the service. They all started nice until they realized I'm not going keep giving and not getting what was promised. To this day after I cancelled in writing as per their policy Ryan is like a bugger on my finger. Then I went and checked their reviews....Omg ...Lesson learned ....Run from this company as fast as you can.

    Thryv's rep was very thorough and customer service is great. We did a digital marketing campaign where we invested $800 a month. It's been five months now and we've only seen $1,500 worth of business. Thryv has a designated line that calls come in through. They post the calls so we went back and checked every call we got to see if the callers rented from us. Based on that, we saw that some people rented but it only came up to $1,500 worth of business and we've already spent $4,000. I would recommend them but we haven't seen the results we thought we would get.

    My sales rep is amazing. But the company itself is not that great. I got them to make a website with reaching out to better find more customers, and the only thing I was told was I gotta spend more money to find more customers. They got me a new program that was supposed to be the greatest thing that they had to offer, and I only got calls that were for another type of a business. For the school, our goal was to add 24 kids by the end of the year. We also wanted to be able to increase our presence on the web. Our area is relatively new, and there's a lot of families moving there, so we wanted to just be found when somebody says, “Preschools near me. Daycares near me.” Thryv said they could help. Additionally, we wanted to be able to engage with our families and we liked what Thryv offered in terms of the social media. Whether it was the planning aspect, postings, I really liked that about it for our preschool business. On the print side, I like the ability to engage my clients and then do everything through Thryv, from the email blast to uploading files, and downloading.

    Josie is my main contact. She helps me and she always replies back to me immediately if I ever have a question or when I had shared my concerns. I always feel like she's an advocate of ours. She always takes that and raises it up to whoever needs to and they try to figure out some things. Then there was Jessica that I've worked with on the website build side. She helped me with the print side as well. When I ask her to make some changes or do some things on our website, she does an awesome job of setting it up for me.

    Then one guy called me and talked to me about the digital aspect of their business, of doing SEOs helping to promote our business. We signed up for that additional service. However, that has not worked well at all. We haven't gotten any response out of it. We've been tracking all the clients that we're getting and everybody is just word of mouth, or somebody drove by. We're not getting anybody from the internet in terms of searching the area and finding us. Also, I don't understand how the structure is. The silence is deafening when the guy who said that this is the greatest thing in the world never follows up to make sure that it works. Maybe that's how the company is set up. But we've been really pleased with their basic service.

    For the most part, I've been with Thryv for a little over a year. They host my website and Thryv does a good job of that. I haven't had any problems and those things have worked out well. The service has been good for my company so far. A couple of months ago, I started doing some e-commerce on their site. It’s okay but it's rather limited. They should be able to break out shipping and the sales tax. When the customer buys the product, whatever price we put on there has to include that shipping and sales tax.

    Shipping is not the same for everybody. It depends on the size of the machines and where it's going. It's a lot of things that do that. So in some things, it could be free shipping. Whoever their developer is, if they're too stupid to realize what's different about their e-commerce site with what a normal e-commerce site is like, I'm wasting my breath and they should hire a new developer to work on it. Still, I couldn't ask for better service from my local rep. She gets me but she’s not the one that makes the rules nor designs the site nor the one that puts all that in place. I've dealt with her long before it was Thryv and she does a great job to try to address my issues that she can address.

    I've been in this business my whole life. It's a family business. But my mother was the one that was in control of everything. I just did the retail part with my customers and ordering.     This is the first year that I got involved with Thryv and I'll be talking with them. I was kind of disappointed at first because we call and we wish we could get somebody that is supposed to do something. When we first got in, I was supposed to get a rebate for $250. I could never get ahold of the thing to get that. There was some fee that they charged and they said that they would waive that fee. Also, when someone puts in a review, I would not like them to actually respond to the review. Someone writes a review on Google and they say, "Thank you for..." That would not be a good idea because everybody thinks that we're probably monitoring all that and we're putting all that input in.

    For the most part, everything has been pretty good with Thryv. I'm not using the service so much now but I need to. I like that people could go and schedule online. I had a way to send out something easily too for people to schedule and it would send them a reminder then give them a chance to reschedule if they wanted to. That's easier for people than talking to a person and telling you that they have to reschedule sometimes. I'm forgetful so I don't tend to call and remind them. I'm not technology-savvy.

    Thryv put stuff on Facebook but I have not seen a lot of increase in business like I thought I would. I understand why though. That's partially me because I haven't gone in and interacted with it as much as I should. I also took a while to really tweak my website and finally got it to where I wanted it. But overall, I'm more than satisfied.

    The only thing was I reached out to my business advisor a couple of weeks ago and she never got back to me. I wound up changing my mind about what I was trying to do. It bothered me that they never got back to me. I was considering building a second website because I also have an investor business in addition to my real estate business. If my advisor got back to me at that time when I was highly motivated, I would have probably moved forward with it. But it's been a couple of weeks now so I had time to talk myself out of it.

At the time that I subscribed with them, I was looking for something that would take care of my transactions, support me with my SEO, website. It's a really good service, but for me, the cost did not make sense for my company because of the way that I obtained clients and the period of time for which I keep them.     It's mainly the quick access to sending out quotes and invoices that interested me to work with Thryv. The customer service has been great. Any concerns that I've had, I've either used their chat application or just give them a call and they take care of me very quickly. I wish I could send quotes and invoices to multiple people at once, so that they can all see them. But right now, I have to send them to each one.     Thryv was able to connect me and give me an online presence with Yelp, Google Business and Yellow Pages. I use their social media content for posting and their campaigns for sending out emails. I just did one about my Tenure Tax-versary for an appointment. I pretty much use the full platform, the calendar, everything. I’ve spoken with a few different reps. I went through two or three training calls where they just showed me how to do different stuff. When I brought my assistant on, they also did two calls with her just to make sure that she understood everything and got all her questions answered as well.

    I'm hoping I would be able to keep the services down the line. But I'm waiting to find out because I have a particular need for my business. I have put in a request to see if I could get that accommodated. I haven't heard a response, and it has been over a month. If I don't get that accommodated, then I probably will leave after my contract just because I don't want to pay for two CRM systems. And I have to be able to connect the CRM system to my dialer. Other than that, it has been a great experience.

The gentleman who was my original contact was awesome and he follows up wonderfully. He is very concerned that you're doing okay. It's easy to use in that form. But I find it difficult sometimes to have to teach myself. I could easily call the customer service line because I have before and they were able to assist.     We needed to clean up our online presence because we've had to change our company name. We're on our third name in the last five years and there was a lot of confusing information on the internet. The service that Thryv could provide as far as helping us with that was what was key. So, we did a lot of work in the first three months with them and got everything squared away. We had an issue in the beginning with the details of our contract and e needing to sign in in order to get a credit, and I had to sign in every single day. There was some confusion with that.

    Their rep Tiffany was great at what she did and explained. But, I went back through emails and everything was like "Did she ever tell me this?". I was already busy enough and having to sign in every day was a nuisance more than anything. The response I got from the rep was “Can't you just set a reminder for yourself to go in and log in once a day?” I told her that I knew she thought it would only be a couple of keystrokes for me but it's a nuisance. It's one more thing that I don't need on my plate in order to get the money back that we had to up up-front for the service.

    I ended up dealing with a gentleman to fix my bill because the rep couldn't fix it. It was a couple of emails and Thryv ended up crediting my bill. The original rep could have handled my issue a little better. Otherwise, Thryv has been a great service and it has served its purpose in the beginning. The lady who did the training was fantastic and she helped me navigate the site. She showed me things through Zoom call. Thryv has been helpful and I would certainly recommend it.

    We use Thryv for advertising and they do what they're supposed to do. Overall, my experience with them has been all right as long as I do not need to reach out to customer service in any way. Every time we have had somebody contact us with anything and we reply to them, we never get replies back. If you have issues and you need service in any fashion, it's nonexistent. I'm under a directive to get a W-9, which is a simple federal document that is handed out to businesses all the time, and I can't get it. I've been striving for three months to get that. I'm on hold for half an hour and still, nobody picks up the line.

    Thryv's service is not that valuable but it's kind of a necessity. With the way it has been lately with the services, we're not happy. Now, I'm highly frustrated and we're definitely not going to expand our services with them because of the lack of service that we've been receiving. We've had poor communication for the most part. I'm looking at an invoice that says billing date December 1st, due date December 21st. I didn't even get it till December 24th. They are deliberately setting me up with late charges because they're not even sending me the bills till after they're due. I have problems with that.

    Please be aware! Yellow pages, which used to be billed under AT&T and now is with Thryv Dex YP. We found out the hard way when we started getting overdue notices from DexYP. When we called to find out what was going on, they told us that we had a yearly contract for Yellow Page services. We had been wanting to cancel those services, so when it fell off our ATT bill, we (wrongly) assumed our account was closed. Dex YP told us that when ATT sold the Yellow Pages, they also transferred the clients. Since we did not know about that transition, we were automatically renewed for another year with a new company. Point is, I ignored initial correspondences with DexYP thinking is was spam email since I had never done business with them before. It was actually their attempt to renew our contract and when we didn't respond, our contract was automatically renewed.

    We had been wanting to cancel our contract with ATT because we were paying $67 a month just to have our listing in BOLD. We haven't felt that was necessary for quite some time so we just wanted to go back to a regular FREE listing (you have to pay for bold and advertised larger listings). When I expressed this to DEX YP, they maintained that we owed them money for the year but would make a note on our account regarding cancellation. We contacted our lawyer to settle this case, and DEX YP sent our account to collections. It's now up to over $1000 with monthly charges and extra fees.

    Once again, we are getting stuck with having to pay for auto-renewal because we live in a state that doesn't protect the consumer from these things. You should not be able to automatically renew a service contract. If the consumer wants to continue, they will make sure to follow up on their services. Dex YP could have resolved this back in March when I first called and we were only a few months in, but it's obvious their main concern is NOT the customer. It has not been resolved and our lawyer just sent another letter to the collections agency. To add insult to injury, they emailed me a week ago to inquire about renewing our contract! I emailed him back immediately and said we did not want to renew. He has not responded. I called and emailed him again today and am waiting for a response. I can't believe I am going through this again.

    We use Thryv for our client’s database, communication with clients, invoicing, and social media. I've probably talked to 10 different people and 9 of them have been great. One was a little unexperienced. From a programming standpoint, the biggest thing, which I heard they were working with, was being able to email multiple people and have an email conversation with a client, kind of like a Gmail or to integrate Gmail. I feel like it was a little falsely advertised that you could communicate and email with clients. It’s not really email, it’s notes that you attach to a contact’s card. You can send a message to multiple people, but as those people start responding, they can’t all see the correspondence ‘cause the note gets put into that specific client’s note section. We’ve considered canceling for next year if that doesn’t get integrated. But from a service standpoint, they’ve been great with answering questions through chatting, phone and email.

The only thing is, they do manage our Facebook, with the social content. For the most part, the photos that are used and the content that's used are good, but if I were to want to change a photo, it is hard to obtain a photo from the library. Sometimes, when I go to choose an image from the library, the content’s not available. If I go to the library, there are so many different pictures to choose from, but I’ve never really had luck with changing one because it said, “Sorry, no image.” I brought it up to their attention. But their response was that sometimes, it could be just a connection issue.

    We primarily use Thryv for the calendar and it got a nice couple of features like marketing campaigns when we do specials. We mostly use it as an organizational tool. Our rep over there is Tyler. He's been really awesome. He's been pretty hands-on, explaining things to us and showing us all the features. He’s come to the office multiple times to help us out with things. We’re doing our website through them as well. He's really doing a lot of troubleshooting for us. It’s been a really good experience with them. The only thing we had issue-wise was just because of the whole COVID thing, there was some promotional stuff that they weren't able to complete for us. They wanted to just not fulfill that.     We've been using Thryv since March. It’s a very good program. You can do a lot with it as a business owner. The hit and miss is the personal contact with Thryv themselves recently. Originally, we had great communication back and forth with their representative. Now, the back office support system kind of missed some things. It looked like the right hand was doing something the left hand didn't have any clue about. But they would generally get it up and running.

    We still have Thryv and we're going to continue with it. They have great tutorials and I like that but they still leave me hanging there with having to practice it over and over again before it becomes something I'm used to. The problem there is I've got to hire somebody to do that because I have enough on my plate. What is the point of having a great system unless it's running for you and not up to you to learn a new trick? I have put in with a person who is on support who you zoom with and I missed the call with them. Their link would not take me to them. Within 15 minutes, they were gone. I called them but they were not answering the phone. I was a little upset.

    The only thing I've received back is a follow-up email saying, "We missed your appointment. Let's reschedule," even though I sent them an email and a text whenever I could. I asked to speak to somebody in the organization and I need to iron this out so that I can continue to use my great system that I pay more than $350 a month for. It seems to be up to me to chase them and that was not how it was told to me at all when we signed on. I was told that my representative who is familiar with the system would be checking in on me. On the upswing, for the most part, Thryv has helped our business.

    I don't like Thryv. I don't think it's doing anything. The salesman said that it’s gonna be wonderful and it’s gonna get us a lot of customers. They should lower the cost and they should also discuss with customers to see what they want and not sign on to a contract.

    Thryv has been great. They did something with the website and they do posts on Facebook and on social media. We’ve recently went on a conference call with Brandon on Tuesday. He was explaining to us all the new features that they added. I was telling him how I had noticed them changing some things with ThryvPay, and it was helpful to us.

    Before this, we didn’t have a way of tracking customers or a way of keeping track of invoices. It was just kind of all over the place.     I was looking for upgrades on social media to reach out to customers a little better. I signed up with Thryv and I mainly worked with Sandy. She was awesome and a great communicator. She followed up very well with any requests I had and I enjoyed working with her. At first, their service was a 10 out of 10 and I was very impressed. I enjoyed it and I learned a lot. But lately, I feel like I've just been dropped off the wagon. There's been no communication for the last four weeks and I've sent a couple of emails out asking questions. I should also call the 800 number but sometimes I don't have time to do that. I would rather communicate by email and so far, I haven't heard anything back.

    At one point in time, I was going to have a meeting with someone to go over the invoicing, which I'm already set up on, so I wasn't really concerned about doing that. But I had an emergency to go to, so I had to cancel that meeting at the last minute. Then, I received an email back saying that they understood that the meeting was canceled. I also sent emails to apologize for canceling and asked if we could reschedule for the next week. But I never heard anything back. I would like to have a conversation with someone about that because right now I'm wondering whether I should extend my contract All in all, Thryv's concept is great and I would like to continue. But at this point, I'm questioning if the money that I'm spending is worth it. I'm not mad but that's how I feel as small business owner. And I'm very small compared to 99% of the customers they have.

I tried searching up the website they built for me which was supposed to be in two locations, one here in Central Florida and another in Jacksonville.     I'm in a group called Team National where you pay a $2,200 lifetime membership fee and one of Thryv’s representatives, Nicole, is in the group. She got me set up with everything and she's awesome. She walked me through the entire onboarding process and any kind of questions I've ever had, all I did was call her and she handled everything immediately.

    Their service has helped me out a lot so far. I bought their most expensive package where they handle my Facebook and built me a website. I've gotten a few jobs from Google Now that they've gotten everything set up and it's also easy to run my business through one program instead of having to use several programs to do everything that I need to do. But the team that manages my Facebook use some generic pictures and I don’t like the fact that in those pictures, they have people that they’ve taken pictures off the internet instead of using pictures of my work.     We did the webpage and social media through Thryv. Everything was excellent. I went through my local contact and her name is Pilar. There were issues that I had this past year that Thryv was able to protect and I'm satisfied. But their service is not really set up for a seasonal business. I can't take advantage of all of the options that they have on the dashboard. There are only two things that I take advantage of on the dashboard. Aside from the massive issue that I had this past year regarding a hacking and their ability to help me quash that, I'm not sure how valuable the service is compared to what I'm paying for. I only use the social media scheduling and I'll be using the email logging program. On my scale, they can be done on a smaller scale locally.

    I'm not sure how effective their generic ads are. There's no way to quantify that. Also, I'm not sure how effective they are in keeping me in front of the consumer. It's like other white noise because, more often than not, they don't pertain to what the industry is or what I'm selling right then and there because I'm a seasonal business. I'm not sure who the system is designed for. Is it designed for the small retail guy or is it designed for a big commercial guy who is gonna be sending out invoices and needs to follow where his customers are? I can't follow my 2,000 customers. At this moment in time right now, I have essentially shut the system off. All they're doing right now for the next six months is maintaining the website because from November to April, my business essentially shuts down.

    If the program was set up so that a seasonal business can take advantage of it on a better scale and a better dollar value, it would be something to consider. But for me, at this point, it's not worth the money that I'm spending. I'm spending $3,000 a year to set up a month's worth of advertising posts for the sake of this conversation. It comes under the social content portion of the dashboard. But I could do that on a daily basis through Facebook. It takes me 30 minutes in the morning to do that. It's not worth $300 a month.

    I use Thryv because it centralizes everything I need to do in my business. If you have multiple services and they are all sort of disparate, Thrive will help you centralize everything.     Everything is going really good. I'm getting more and more into the software of it every day. I truly enjoy posting to my social media now. The service has increased our social media traffic by about 45% to 55%. Using Thryv has helped us, especially on our liquor store side. Within three months, we grew from about 20 followers to right around 200 followers now. So it's been tremendous for announcing sales. It's worked really well. Right now, I'm kind of working on the inside here to integrate our POND database with the Thryv software, and then we could start using more of the features such as text alerts and email alerts, and that's something our customers really like as far as courtesy calls and whatnot on loan dates.

    At the time that Thryv walked in, I was already in charge of the social media. So I was managing Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, and Twitter one by one, and that was kind of a nightmare. But now, we have a big sale coming up real soon, and I already have my post scheduled to launch about a week before to kinda drum up the business and then pull people in. It's been really good. I was probably putting in about 20 hours or more a week on social media, and now, I'm right around down to eight, and that's really me just goofing around with stuff and trying things out.

    Seeing what the software will do for me and seeing what results and what displays, I've been extremely happy with it. It's been one of the best digital tools I've used in a long time. Thryv's reps are great. Right now, we're working on trying to get our commercial done. The guys are really good about keeping me on my toes and getting my dates going and making sure they stay in touch with me as far as where we're at with things. They've been great to work with. The thing I like the most is that they're always available. I've called them up a few times, and they've been traveling, and if they don't answer me right away, they usually return my call within an hour. Anything I had concerns with got corrected right away or I was instructed on how to correct it or make the change.

    I got a new rep, which was a very good thing, because I wasn't very happy with my previous rep. When Valerie got on my account and contacted me to touch base with me, she mentioned a website and we needed one. I ended up having to go work from home and it was perfect timing to move everything over to Thryv and get us all situated because we needed to do it for a long time. The website Yellow Pages had developed for us wasn't that great. But now, I have a website that I really liked.

I was getting an email on my phone and I could get a notification saying that this person left a Google review and to see if I would like to respond to it.     A couple of our clients like Thryv because they can just get online when they're listing an appointment with a client and schedule the photography session there while they're there with them. It speeds up listing appointments for them. It's going well with Thryv but we still got the tax issue, which we've told them about. When we do an online service menu, we have to manually add the sales tax and it's been passed on up to the development team.

    The local representative here, Cheryl, reached out to me and let me know that my website wasn't connected to my Google page.     There are some books that are still delivered here. As popular as internet and cellphones are, you still have people with a house phone and a landline, and go to an actual book to look up locations of businesses and information. I haven't had any issues with Thryv's customer service. It's very rare that I have ever had to call in for anything through emails. We get a copy of our statement in the mail even though we're on automatic draft as far as our monthly payment goes. They've done well.

    Thryv has worked for us. Some people have gotten away from some things as far as yellow pages. But you get the people that are on the internet constantly or are on their phones, looking at places or information or phone numbers. And then, you still have the yellow page book itself. People should give it a try. Their services are very valuable because we still have the option with the books themselves. Sometimes we get some calls we're not expecting to get, but you can still pick up a client through that.

    We do print and digital advertising. I just knew Thryv as DexYP for accounts payable purposes. But the transition for billing was confusing. I spoke with someone in customer service during that time and they were helpful. They explained everything that I needed them to explain, but the transition was still not good. Also, when it comes to the actual advertisement thing, I'm not positive. But in theory, the service is very good.
