    I like the fact that Thryv is posting for social media and when I send updates for my website, all that is being taken care of. Everybody's always helpful. If I don't get an answer quick enough, all I got to do is call Shane, and he makes it happen. Shane is great. I'm a newer business myself and I'm trying to figure out what's working for me, and somebody's got to manage the website, and I've got somebody making the calls now. So the price for the website and the post on social media is why I'm staying where I'm at. If there was a way to pay less, I would definitely do that.

    They've always been upfront with me. There's no real surprises. They do follow up with inquiries. They're constantly reporting. I definitely gotten more business than I've paid out to them. So Thryv definitely works for me. My only issue is that they’re costing a little bit more than I would like. But it is still good. You get your money back. I’m happy with them.

    Thryv had caused me to lose three clients and I'm done. When I tried to get into Thryv, most of the time, it was very difficult. I ended up having to call. This last time, there was no way for me to get in. They couldn't get in. They didn't know what was going on. Nobody knew. They also come out and take a picture or a movie, but when they tried the first time, I was very ill and we never teamed up again. Nobody has ever even bothered to say anything. I'm supposed to get a 10-second blurb of little doodad so I can put it on my website but I got nothing. I got Thryv to help me with my advertising but I'm not getting that. There's no service. When you call, nobody knows what's going on.

    I have all these emails from everybody and they're no good anymore because they go away after a certain time. I wasn’t aware of that. Nobody bothered to tell me. My clients can't go into their portal and see something they need and download it because the time has passed. So I have to resend it to them. The other thing is that the notes go away after a certain time. We're required by law to keep notes. But when I need the notes, I have to do a cut and paste to get my notes.

    Thryv's system is functional and it does what it's supposed to do. It has more features to it as it grows. But I wish that the website was a bit more like my original website which was a WordPress and that had much more abilities to have different systems sync into it. With that, I was able to buy different software that connected to my website. I'm a chef and I was able to put recipes in that people could click increase or decrease on and the measurements would change. People were also able to give feedback or share it. I was also able to generate processes and taxes quite easily. I hope that Thryv does the website where it has more functionality.

    Eventually, once I start to sell products, I will need those taxes generated correctly without any kind of headaches or hiccups. We've been having a lot of hiccups when it comes to the pricing and it’s automatically popping up with that process with that processing fee. I was telling Stacey, my person, that I would like taxes to automatically generate. I can't individually charge someone. My products are supposed to be selling in my sleep. I don't want to lose money because something on the website isn't working well. I want something that functions even when I'm not able to get out of my bed and function.

    The one thing I'm happy about is that I am getting more Google searches. So I am getting phone calls, even though I'm not doing anything on my side as far as any social media or any promoting. I'm appreciative that Thryv does those things for me. I also like that I have a person that's dedicated to talking to me about the things that need to be done with the website.

I had some issues and they were corrected. But then we're back on the same stuff.     The gentleman that I bought the services through left the company. Thryv don't always respond as quickly when I had my other facility guy in the loop. He would make sure that they did what they needed to do. So the customer service waned a little bit, but it's still pretty good. If I put in a request to change something on my website, they may make the change, but they don't necessarily tell me they made the change. I give them a few days and then I'll notice that they made the change but I had no idea. So it's a little less than ideal, but it's not anything catastrophic.

    I wasn't taking any credit card payments because I didn't trust Square or any of those credit card processors but I haven't had any issues with Thryv, therefore I'll continue. I have the bare minimum right now, so it’s also used as the CRM side of things, invoicing, and payment. I'm bad at posting on my social media but I can schedule it with Thryv. One of the highlights is that it’s one picture, one comment or caption and it goes everywhere. So, that is a huge benefit.

    There are a couple of things that I hate, though. I don't like how for every line item, you get 200 characters. I have a design and build firm. My stuff doesn't just end at repairing the floor. It's trench the floor, pour new concrete and reframe. It's a lot. So, I have to put everything down at the bottom. Also, I don't like the font size. You can’t increase that, and even though my logo is in the highest resolution, it comes out blurry. Those two little things sound silly, but for me, it's a big deal and should be tweaked if possible. But I love Thryv. The experience is AMAZING and the customer service is great. Ava, my rep, was the one who set me up with everything and it was because of her that I decided to sign up, just having conversations with her alone, to be exact.

    We were trying to find somebody to print. I talked to the lady at Thryv and she said it was not what they did. She told me what they did and it sounded cool for my personal business. We set up another call a few days later and the service made sense because it does pretty much everything that QuickBooks does. It does a little bit more with the campaigns that you can run. I could email all my customers and say if they're looking to get on the schedule, reach out to us. That is cool because I can send one email and reach all of my customers. The service is neat and beneficial because of the reach. You can also set it to do your social media. We have it doing our Facebook page and it's constantly posting for us.

    I can also do my invoicing and billing. It's one app. I suck at remembering passwords but with Thryv, I only have to remember one password and get into one place and do all my stuff. That's a win. There are some flaws, but for the most part, I'm pleased. Thryv is saving me money and time compared to running three or four different programs and paying three or four different invoices that come in to run each program.

    Thryv is a huge help for us, and without it, I'd probably lose my mind. The services we use are the CRM, credit card processing, and a bit of social media management. The CRM is really easy to use, and it definitely helps me keep in touch with old clients. I don't have to sit there and try to wonder who somebody is anymore and where they live or what their phone number is or a previous conversation. That's all already on Thryv. Even what I charge them on our last visit, I can look that up, right there, quick and easy. Another thing is, I know that Margaret, my local Thryv agent, has a ton of clients that she helps with Thryv, but it always feels very personal. It almost seems like I'm her only client. She's always on top of everything that I need from her and quick to do so. She's always right there, happy to help.

    I like Thryv. I needed someone to help me with marketing on social media, and they do a fantastic job with the verbiage. However, they need some more pictures. I have had to supply my own. We're in landscaping but every picture that they put on there was tree care. We gotta have something that shows that we do landscaping also. Also, the pictures are not anywhere near what's in our area. For instance, they posted a picture of trees one time. We're in the East United States but they posted pictures of some Polynesian country. I can't have that stuff. It needs to be something that is local to me. Another thing is for a lot of the pictures they were posting, nobody had safety equipment on. We had to tell them not to post anything where people don't have safety glasses and hard hats.

    I'm not happy with the website. The logo is placed on a terrible spot and I don't know how to fix it. They tried to add some links but I don't think that they understood what I was wanting. When you click on it, it takes you to the ISA log in page which nobody would have, except for somebody who's a member. It's a great program and they have great thought in it but they could be better in getting the service to make it work well for each customer, talking to people like me and taking me seriously as to what I want. Other than those, everything's being posted on time. My rep, Stacey, calls at least once a week. She does her job keeping up with everything.

    Our salesman was very nice. I had a couple of one-on-one meetings via Skype and those were very knowledgeable as well. We have had too many times when we've had to reach out but they have been super quick at getting back to us. They are really friendly to work with and they answer the questions that we've asked. We are completely happy with Thryv right now. We originally established it so we could get our website up and running and we're still figuring out the real nuances of it. Over the last couple of weeks, we've gotten a lot of influx of customers using that to contact us. Before, most of our business was either walk-in, word of mouth, and phone calls. But this has really got our foot in the door with using the software.

    But understand that you're gonna have to link a bunch of your accounts when you first get started. We weren't expecting that. Make sure that you have your username and your passwords in order before you start the linking process. It makes it a lot easier if you have one solid domain name for everything instead of having to track down all of your passwords from older accounts. But other than that, it's very easy.

    I've been paying for Thryv's service for eight months now and I don't fancy it at all. I'm looking to cancel it. At the end of the day, everything's about money. I'm a businessman myself and I believe they're too big. They don't have enough time to focus on their clients and their system hasn't worked out for me.     The salesman was very, very helpful. I could even call him right now if I had an issue or a question. He was the best part about Thryv. Whenever any issues ever arose, he went above and beyond. I'm an older guy and I'm not really a technology guy. I'm still in the flip phone generation and he was very helpful with helping me set up stuff that needed to get done and making sure things got done that I wouldn't have done so.

    Thryv helped me specialize in providing only one service, which I wasn't really able to do before.     I really like Thryv’s services. I was hesitant when I first got it, but it’s become very good. I use it on a daily basis. I love it. I'm a photographer. It’s so organized. I have the appointments there, all the customer information. Sending follow-up emails to the customers is easy if you get all their information. It's easy to track my calendar and things that I have to do. I want to use more of the social media thing. I don't have much time, but I'm definitely looking forward to starting to do more of that on this as well in marketing. April, the rep I worked with, has always been really good.     Most of the services are pretty helpful. I like it. There are just a couple of things I’m adjusting. Every time I need help, I reach out and their customer service is really good. They’re very prompt and helpful each time, especially through the chats. Some of my customers are like property managers and every time I schedule on to them, Thryv always sends them to the last address. They should enable us to have multiple options for location under the same contract. Sometimes I have a customer that wants to schedule for a friend, but she wants the email. But I could only get her the email and not the other one. So for those issues, it gets a little confusing for me. But I always find a way to make it work. So Thryv could also enable us to have multiple customers under the same name or have multiple email addresses.

    I liked everything that they had to offer with their plans and social media marketing. So far, my experience with their customer service team has been okay. I do a lot more chat features. But during the whole onboarding process, there was a little bit of a lack of communication with being shuffled around between so many different Thryv professionals without as much communication as to why you're meeting with someone new.

    There are certain parts of the actual technology aspect of Thryv with certain integrations or different email systems and removing certain things from client emails that they say they don't do and they can't do. So that's a little frustrating. They customize certain aspects of Thryv based on your business, but I wish the overall functionality of how to use the program, especially with marketing emails or follow-up confirmation emails, would be across the board. For the amount we're paying, they could customize that even further for each individual business.

    I recently canceled my subscription because I'm no longer in the business. But they were nothing but helpful. Anytime I had questions or concerns, they were always there to help. When I was using Thryv, it was very valuable in terms of getting my business on Google and I didn't have a website before. Just really having more avenues of getting the word out. However, there were a few little things that I had with my last software that I wish that I had. I do lawn care, and my last software, you could put the dates of service on each line item, and I wish there was an option on Thryv. It was a little confusing. I would have to make tons and tons of line items versus being able to edit an already existing one just a little bit. I would have to go create a brand-new one. I was used to clicking on one, and if I had to make a small alteration to it for that particular invoice, I could do that. But with Thryv, I was not able to do that.

    Thryv had other features that some other companies don't offer on their site. I thought they could help with scheduling. But unfortunately, I wasn't too happy with the results. They forced me into a contract and they're really hard to get in contact with. After the second one, it was almost impossible. I left three messages for them to leave me a message. It was like playing phone tag as well. As soon as I've finished paying my contract, they're very much available. But Thryv is definitely not for a small business. They make it seem that they're small business friendly but they're not.

    They could see what their clients need directly and make services from there as opposed to having people locked in. I understand why they do it because they have to make sure they get their money back for the work that they do themselves. But the six months is pretty long. They should have a shorter trial period for consumers so they get to see if it's worth paying that much. Because all the ads that they said they were going to do for me were very generic. They thank people for the reviews by their first and last name. That person knows that I know them by their first name basis already. So you can tell it's a bot. Also, we almost see the same review from other people but using different words.

    I found out we have been paying for some software that was never used and I am told was needed to host our website. $498/month for a website? We moved our website away from Thryv and was told by their URL Support team that my website was being hosted by 2 companies at the same time. We have our URL hosted at Go Daddy as well as the website.

    I don't know what this Thryv software is. We use Quickbooks to run our business. It feels like we have been robbed $399 per month for something we have never used. I was told by customer service, "We can't force you to use it". If we never had the intention of using it why are we paying for it. I feel like it was a sales bait and switch to bill us for something that was never used. I would think if they are supposed to be supplying a service and see it not being used they would say something and not steal $399/month for this product we didn't know we had or never used. I guess customer service and customer support is something that Thryv cares about. Just getting customers to commit to a 12 month contract and make sure they bill you for products and services you never used.

    I just did Thryv for not even a year. I didn't have enough time to give it for the expectation that it was supposed to have. At the time, I’m booked out for five years, so I couldn't take on any more work. In the construction trade, that's gonna change in the next five years, because there are not enough people doing it anymore. A lot of people rely on Home Depot's Pro Referral, Lowe's, Porch, Thryv, Angie's List, and all those sorts of things. But in reality, the guys who are the most successful are the ones who are word by mouth, people who have had experiences, because a lot of the folks that need the work done at the moment are elderly folks. They are not tech-savvy, they don't know how to send emails, and they don't have a smartphone. As far as from the tech side, now, that's going to change too. In the next 10 years, the baby boomers will start passing away in great numbers, and the next generation who is computer literate will be fine.

    Everybody at Thryv did exactly what they said they were going to do. It's just that depending on the business need is what would dictate the level of service needed from Thryv. In order to have it, you need a dedicated person that works for you full time to manage that part of the business. To sit there as the owner and try to maintain who has gone on the website that day and to check who has sent emails in is damn near impossible.

    Since working with them, we’re higher in the searches. The reps are good. They’re trying to be as helpful as they can with the limited areas in which we need and can receive the system. What Thryv does with us is great but we're limited in terms of what we need. We utilize very little of what they can offer, mainly social media and keeping us in the forefront of websites but we still have to pay a full price. So, that’s hard and that will probably impact us when we stop using them sooner than later. They should have a different pricing system based on what you can utilize. They should have plans that are more moderate so that after people do their initial website and the business starts to stabilize and they start to think that they don't really need all this functionality, they allow such people to pay more reasonable subscriptions in order for them to stay with Thryv.     The customer service reps are nice and Thryv is a good company but they aren't the best fit for us so I’m waiting to fall off the subscription. We’re too big for them. They’re more for centralized companies in one location and we have multi-state multiple locations. If we were starting our company and using them, it would be great. But we already had so many things in place and in order to use them adequately, we would’ve had to do a massive overhaul of everything. We have the CRM and we signed on initially because we heard they made videos but it wasn't what we expected. So, my company made a video with somebody else. I was trying to find a way to fit them in but things have been moving and evolving so fast for our company and they got left behind.

    I've been trying to reach out to Thryv because if I could use them for anything, it would be to help us with our Facebook page. We had an IT person back in January who locked us out of everything, so we haven't been getting to our Facebook page for 10 months. Now would be a good time for me to utilize them for that but I haven't spoken with anyone in Thryv in two months.

    Thryv is good at what they do but they only do it when they're trying to have you signed up. Nobody else had done any follow-up, as far as the communication that they would be there when I need them. They try to get you to sign up and when you have any issue, you can't reach out to anybody. I haven’t heard from the person who was assigned to my account in almost a year. I need some extra stuff with the website and now, I’m gonna have to pay another company to help me with the work. I'm not gonna recommend Thryv at all. People need more help after the sign up. It's not just a one-time service and then you keep paying every month for service. People want a follow up and they need more service and that’s one reason I'm considering switching to a different company. I don't wanna pay two services or two different companies.

    The new website that Thryv built for us and the social interactions are great. But I don't love much of anything else. When I was first introduced to Thryv by the salesperson, she brought up the fact that there's a calendar, that it would automate my notices to clients. But I didn't ask specifically enough. I'm disappointed because it's not doing what I wanted. So far, the announcements are unwieldy for me. It requires me to do more work than before.

    I was told that Thryv is working on making that calendar more like the Google Calendar because they have more than just me unsatisfied with the Thryv calendar. I know that there are things working behind the scenes to make my life easier. But I'm paying almost $400 a month for a system that is just hosting my website and putting on social interactions.     I liked what Shawn, the rep, had to say and thought I would try it. I'm using the website. Also, Thryv has campaigns that run for me. But I couldn't seem solve the problems I got because I don't know how to do it. One is the scheduler doesn't talk to my Apple calendar where I work from. I have people scheduled, but it's not working properly.

    One more thing that stuck out to me from the beginning is whenever I input a customer, that customer should go directly into my QuickBooks but it never did. It created me triple handling my customers’ name and address just to get it in. So, I stopped that immediately. It’s too much time for me to put in. I would like that I input QuickBooks and it would automatically go into Thryv, not the other way around. I need to spend time with somebody from the tech side. I know they got the videos out there but that is still time-consuming and trying to put it all together when it could be handheld all the way through. If somebody from there could know my pain points and help me with those, that would be ideal.

    It's cool that they gave me a package deal and they help with the customer relationships manager. They also built me an awesome website that I could customize however I want. I have unlimited changes on that and they help me anytime with that. With my social media, they were really handy as far as keeping me out there. They do automatic posts for me which have been working out pretty well.

    As far as the CRM, there was a point in time where I was having problems with it for a couple of days straight. And that's big when my business relies on it. We use it every day. So when we couldn't use it for a couple of days, that really made life hard. I tried calling support and they were no help whatsoever. Thryv told me that they'll work on it and let me know when it's fixed. A couple of days later, I got an email from them saying that they're still working on the problem. They kept me updated but it sucked going a couple of days without the CRM.

    The customer service is what I don't like about them. They weren't helpful as far as customer support went. Even my main salesman that got me on, I tried contacting him in the past and never got a call back from him.

    Thryv was supposed to be a solution that would be able to take care of our needs as far as growth. But it's not everything that we expected mainly because it doesn't have a POS system. It doesn't make it easy for our customer to be able to accept payment. So, we have to manually type in card info. It's a different world and it's not efficient for what we're trying to do. Also, there's an add-on to the services we are using but it's just not working.

    As far as communication, help and support, Thryv is great. It's a good fit for another business as far as how they operate. I still recommend them but it doesn't work for us because we need fast payments. They need to work on being an all-in-one solution. I had so many frustrated clients because they have to wait for me to type the card in after they put it in already. They just needed this touch-up on our end for our customer experience.

    One of the things that surprised me about Thryv is I found out they were essentially the former company of DexYP, which we had not had good experiences with in the past. DexYP was selling Yellow Page advertisements and the promises about driving volume. The expectations were set inordinately high, when in fact, they rarely met their targets for the referral process. Thryv, on the other hand, has made very little in the way of promises and said, "This is what we sell. This is how we do it." We have been pleased with the experiences with them because they didn't oversell themselves and then they delivered above our expectations. When they said they're gonna do something, they do it. There are features about it that we will probably never use, but it's an all-in package, and so we don't mind that there are things that we're not gonna worry about. It's a great value for the money. We would definitely recommend Thryv.

    I got two different accounts with Thryv. The one for my training site locally does a good job for me. I’m happy with the way that it’s been able to help the training business that I've got going on. For Protection Dog Sales, my other website, we had a major mess up. It cost me quite a bit of money. It’s not for a small business that sells nationwide, it's more for a small business that sells locally, so it hasn't worked. I had some major issues with SEO stuff that they're supposed to take care of. At one time, my website could not be found organically because they had actually linked the two websites together. Google said, “You can't do that. You’re double dipping.” They basically shut them down being able to be found organically. That took us a long time to figure out that that's what happened.

    Thryv had a problem with their Yext also trying to list the two businesses together all the time, even though they're two completely separate businesses. And still, they kept trying to link them together for some reason. But other than that, the service rep that I have has been phenomenal. Even when all this was going on with the one website, she was in there trying to figure it out and get things fixed and done. She wants everybody to be successful, which is awesome.

    There's so much that you have to learn as a small business owner about if you're going to try and do your own websites, or your own publications, your own social media. That stuff takes time and effort. The good thing is that Thryv helps with that stuff, and it helps with your listings. Like my training site, because of them adding Yext, Yext puts all my stuff the right way on 70 different search engines and that's huge. As a small business owner, I had no concept that I had to do it. I thought that since I got Google, Bing, and Yahoo, I’m covered.

    Tools are easy to use on the website. You can go in there and do a lot of cool stuff with it. The platform’s basic. It does not have a lot of bells and whistles to it, but it works. The other good thing is they actually do the website for you, then all you got to do is just go in there and do some tweaking. They’ll get you set up, it takes about two weeks, and they have you up and running. They take all your feedback and they meet with you.

    Everything, in the beginning, was good. But once we got the contract done and the first 30 days were up, it went to **. We have asked for certain things to be done that have not happened yet. Thryv had one of the owner’s personal cell phone numbers on the website and we asked them to remove it. It still has not been removed. We have been waiting on a guy named Josh to come back and finish uploading photos to our website. He has yet to do that. We also asked for an emergency number to be listed on the website that we have on our answering service. That has yet to happen. When you call now and try to get in touch with someone, you leave voicemails and you don't get any return calls. That’s my biggest issue.

    Also, customers cannot schedule their own appointments on the website and we asked Thyv to fix that, but that is yet to be fixed. We've lost a bunch of customers because they would schedule appointments and we would not be aware of them. We have no notification that they've scheduled a set day and time for appointments. People call us at 7:00, 8:00 o'clock at night when they've scheduled appointments and we would not there. We don't schedule anything past 5:00 o'clock unless it's on an emergency basis.

    Another thing is on the website, it still says we accept debit or credit cards. Our machine is on backorder so we cannot accept debit and credit cards right now. The bank told us as soon as it hits their door, they would deliver our card reader. Customers get upset because they expect to pay with a debit or credit card but we can't accept it yet.

    Three other owners and I told Thryv that we are really going to discuss whether or not we're going to renew come next year. They should be getting back in touch with the paying customer. We’ve been avoided for months. After that first 30 days, we can't get anyone to call us back to fix the stuff on the site. When we were with DexYP, they were on point and they had everything the way it needed to be. They were always game and we heard back from them within 72 hours. It's been months with Thryv and we haven't gotten a call back from anyone. And we've reached out to three different people.

    I’ve tried other software companies, and Thryv is the one that I personally like the most. I'm very happy with their customer service. Every time I call, they're always willing to negotiate the terms. As a business owner, there are times where we struggled with the payments and they seemed to be very understanding on that part. The software is great. It does what it’s meant to do and even though I haven’t been able to utilize all the features that it gives, I know they work.     Thryv has dealt with me in a cordial manner every time that I’ve called and they've taken care of everything that I needed.     Thryv is a great program and I enjoy it. My only concern is I did not know it was an automatic renewal and I didn't get notified of that. I just had a deduction taken out of my account. We are evaluating our software programs right now and we have yet to make a decision whether or not we are wanting to really move forward with Thryv or do some adjustments. It's not a software issue but more of trying to find the time to really make the system work for us because we've been paying quite a bit of money for something that we're not able to use to its full capacity.

    Thryv needs to work on their invoicing options because in our industry, there is a lot that goes into play. I can't use Thryv's program for our service tickets. I can use it for invoicing but if I'm using one program to do service tickets, I might as well use that same program to invoice through. The service tickets are the invoices. Thryv might want to look at being a little bit more capable of allowing some more options there.

    Consolidation is the most valuable thing about Thryv's service. I like how it has everything in one place. The onboarding tech support process was good. But I would like to have the social network part expanded, because I am really not interested in Facebook or Instagram. But if I could be on any other social platform, that would be great.     Thryv manages our website and our ads on Facebook. We also have a campaign that we're running through them and customer service-wise, we haven't had any issues with them. We also have no concerns with our website or our Thryv app. But we're not happy with our campaign. We haven't spoken to the person who is in charge of our campaign since we started the campaign, so a follow-up from them would be a big thing that they need to work on. Also, they should not promise things that they can't deliver. With our campaign, they told us that we would be seeing results immediately and I haven't seen them. About a month or so into the campaign, they said they needed three months. That was okay, but that was not what they told us.

But after that, I didn't get any more, and I was with them for about three to four months. I let them know about it and it was different people talking to me.     The Rep we had was placing our online advertising for us, as agreed when she took the order from our 78 year old owner. We were told we had to advertise in the yellow pages to get the internet portion. Our Rep quit within 4 months and they did not replace her.... Why, because they apparently only care about getting you into contract, not to service our account as our sales rep had agreed. We called and the inside rep was surprised to see, we had not been assigned a new rep. , at all.

    The next one supposedly got cancer and did not follow through with anything, yet the company still wants to charge for our terrible results, over a 6 month timeframe. We asked for a release of contract to avoid paying for another 3 months. No reply from the company. We stopped paying and then got calls, after our contract had expired, wanting their $4000.00 for internet and $4000.00 for Yellow pages. They have acknowledged that we did not have a log in and that the rep was faxing us reports, but they will not give us a credit.

    One of the things that we've had issues with is the appointments. We've had people show up here, because when they put in a request for an appointment, they think that means it's automatic. Also, I'm trying to figure out how to set things up to where either it stays logged in or we disable the messaging system. Every time my boss, Dennie, gets a message, it’s forwarded to his email, but then he has to log into Thryv to get to that message and to respond. It makes it complicated because instead of just showing up in the email, he can't respond via email. We're trying to work on that.

    The reps have always been very helpful and nice. Thryv also offers a good system and it would work for somebody, but it's not something that is useful to me. I personally don't ever log on to it because I already have a calendaring system that I use. Most of our stuff is already on that and we haven't transferred it all over. If Thryv's system was something that would have already had all of our contacts in it, maybe it would be more useful to me, but then it would just be another screen I'd have to have pulled up.

    Thryv has been valuable and I'm pleased with it. Although I have not used it to the max, I definitely like what it has to offer. We're working on trying to get back into it the way I want to learn and advertise and promote, especially as I'm coming up on this next tax season, and I want to do that year-round. If utilized properly, it seems to be a good program that can help organize our communication with our clients. The customer service is good too. Whenever I need to schedule something, they try to accommodate.

    The customer service at Thryv is top-notch. We're not computer gurus and whenever we had a question, they were available, very polite, understanding, and worked with us. We wanted to be able to have something where we can easily schedule posts and have a better-looking website. If we weren't a small business, their service would have been extremely valuable, but we didn't use it a lot. It was just the two of us working on our business and both of us were busy.     Before, I had another app that did scheduling and it was horrible because anytime I had a problem, I couldn't talk to anybody. I always had to message everybody and if I finally talked to somebody, I couldn't understand them. It was a pain in the butt to try and get anything solved. When I was talking to the rep, Ryan, about it, he said, "Oh, hey, we have this app, and I think it would work great for you." I needed something to be able to schedule appointments and keep track of them.

    Everything's been great and everybody's been wonderful. I don't use Thryv's services nearly like I should and I'm sure there are other things that I could do that would benefit me more for what I'm paying, but as far as what I'm using, I'm happy with it. It's made life easier and customers seem to be able to use it too. That's valuable.

    Thryv is working on a project for us and we were given notice that they cannot handle as much product as we were originally told that they could. We're getting an excuse that it would slow our website down, which is interesting because my competitors have all of these things up. If other websites can do it, Thryv should be able to do it too, especially for $7,000 a year in a subscription base that we're paying. They're going to get that every year for the rest of my life. I should have everything I want.

    I'm supposed to hear back from Thryv and I am hoping somebody would call me to say, "Hey, we figured it out. You're all good." I really don't want to fire them because so far, they have been good. I like the service, but somebody needs to jump on their game because I'm gonna have to jump off if I can't look like my competitors. I need to be as good as them and if we can't step up to their style of website, and I thought we were better, then we can't do business with Thryv.

    Thryv’s customer service has generally been okay but we’ve never gotten our website launched. I spoke to a young lady who followed up and she was gonna follow up. But I haven’t heard anything. Thryv was hot and heavy for a minute but it fell away and nobody has been following up with me. There was an implementation window, plan and performance guidelines, and everybody was trying to force us to get it implemented within the framework, so they did metrics too. But I wasn’t totally happy with the way it looked and felt. The website has been on hold for four months because they couldn’t do what we wanted them to do. The platform is not as flexible on that level for what I needed and, on the website, it's not a one-size-fits-all for me. There's some customization I was looking for and I'm not quite sure they can do.

    Still, I like that with Thryv, we can manage our customer relationship, do billing and invoicing, and manage calendar events. That's been huge for us for what we do. We're a little unique in what we do so, the way we utilize it where it's working for us for now, we were using a third-party clearinghouse for our debit and credit card processing, and Thryv was able to integrate with that now. And since then, they've launched their own product. I've been a little hesitant to switch over because I've just changed but they have the ACH feature with check. We don't accept a lot of checks but that rare occasion when we get a situation where someone wants to give us a check, it'd be nice to be able to validate funds before we accept it.

    The only other thing is that I'm not that thrilled with how the reporting is with the collection funds. With the third-party processor that I was using, I can go to their site and get all kinds of trend reports and different things like that. I haven't been able to get the type of management reports with Thryv and I haven't been able to figure out how to do that. Not that I do it a lot but if I had it, I would use it.

    I signed up with Thryv for a 6 month contract - a big part of that contract were two key things. 1) Keep my same phone number in all online advertising; 2) Do not record any calls that come into our office. From day one they have failed, and do both of the above. Despite my many complaints, they have not honored their end of the agreement. Since they refused to honor their end of the agreement, I wanted to cancel immediately. They of course do not care about their end of the agreement, but said, "Tough. You still need to pay for 6 months." So I have been paying for something to which they have never fulfilled their end of the bargain. There are much better online providers who are honest and genuine. There is one person who works there who tried to advocate for me and agreed they should have stopped billing, but obviously the dollar is the controlling factor not integrity or customer service.

    I was with Gannett, which was doing Thryv for me, and they were doing a terrible job. I discovered through Lisa, who was my YP person, that I could use Thryv by myself. She showed me all the automated postings that I could do. I like the fact that they had all these different postings for golf and for resort that I could choose from or accept or replay. All I needed to do was upload a photo and change a few words. It stimulated my creativity.

    With Thryv, I can look and see how many clicks and calls we had, except for my Facebook postings. I've never seen one of my ads on social media. I'm not that heavy of a user of social media, but I expected to see one of my ads by this time. It's been nine months. I've considered stopping the service for a few months to see if I can see what the difference is. Also, the postings are always facts and they're not very personable. So I would request more personable type postings. Another thing that I've told them was that when I go into one of their pre-made posts to add a photo or change some words, I have go into the Facebook and Google accounts. I'd really love it if I could just go into one and have them both updated because it's time-consuming. Also, a good addition to their service is if we could do an ad on Words with Friends.

    Initially, Thryv reached out to me and offered their services. When they explained their services, it sounded interesting enough for me to give them a shot. Thryv is like a CRM system where you can keep everything organized, including all of your programs, lenders, and contacts. Then they post on Google and on Facebook. But I downgraded a little bit because they weren't doing much on Google. They weren't doing the daily postings on Google like I liked, but they were doing the Facebook daily postings. They also built my website and it is great. I love it. Everyone loves my website. As a matter of fact, in order for me to keep the relationship, I have to pay them almost 100 bucks a month to keep access to the website.

    Thryv is very good with customer service, but it was always different people that I spoke to. It's good to talk to one person because that one person knows your situation. If you go to different people, you have to always start over some time. Also, different people have different temperaments. So I’d rather deal with one person that's willing to do everything and who knows everything about the company.

    I like that Thryv is portable and my salespeople can take it with them. It's easier for them to give estimates and send invoices from the road wherever they are selling. What I don't like is that it's down right now. My saleslady was trying to create an invoice and she was trying to make a change, then she had to recreate the whole thing which was a lot for us. It's just copy and paste but it's still time-consuming. Many times, we could've used the same estimate for different customers because they're all bidding the same project. But we need to make changes, and if it’s just changing a name, an address, a phone number, the whole thing needs to be recreated again. Then if I send an invoice to people through Thryv, they bid, but the charges for the credit card are high compared to what I'm paying with my other credit card provider.

    DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS PROGRAM! They are a scam and do not deliver on anything they promise. They double bill, and they mess up your phone lines. Not only are the "leads" a waste, I get calls for other companies, most of my calls are dropped, and my listing has the wrong number listed, which they have not fixed after repeated requests. Even canceling is a hassle. Do not deal with this company.

    Wes is a good guy. If it weren't for him, I probably wouldn't have done it. We're a little diverse in the fact that we're primarily new construction. Thryv has been helpful for getting our name out there, making our social media presence known. It has also made a bit easier for the customers to reach out to us through our website. However, it lacks a live inventory and employee payroll. There are some components missing for us for it to be the complete package that we need. Which I've let them know.     At the time, I wanted to improve my website and Thryv rebuilt it. I like it as well as the software I can use to send invoices. The only thing is that they're billing me monthly for something they don't even do and it's just overpriced. It should be cheaper because they're just letting me use their software. If I stop using the software, then I can't use the website anymore. I can just keep my domain name. That's another problem too because then I'm losing my website. But on the other hand, they built it, so I could see their point. They should have hit me with a fee then and I keep the website. But they do great work.
