Thryv does my printed advertisement. Originally, it was good, but more and more people use online, so it's slowly diminished. Once in a while, I'll still get somebody that calls from a phone book, but it's less and less every year. The pro is it's reasonable, but the con is there's not enough distribution. One of the things that's caused it to diminish a lot is they make phone books available and hand out a few random, but it's not like they did years ago where everybody got one. The distribution before was 140,000 something books, and that went way down to 20,000.

We are utilizing the website and booking through Thryv. It's been good for the booking aspect, for sure. But I had an issue with the ThryvPay, which was really inconvenient. Because it came out of the left field and I wasn't made aware of it. My customers were the ones who told me about it. It just stopped taking payments all over. Initially, they said that they decided I was not a good candidate. So we had to go back and forth for quite some time. My business is a seasonal business. It was right at the height of my season. I didn't have a whole lot of time to go through it with them. I just started using a different thing to accept payment.
Nobody knew what was going on. Everyone that I spoke to said there was nothing that was in my account to say, "This is why it happened.” When they looked into my account, they were told that it was because my account was deemed high-risk. And no one could figure out why I was high risk. Because all I do is collect payments for a service, which is non-refundable.
A handful of times, I was told that it was rectified but it wasn't. Eventually, we finally got it updated. According to who we finally got in touch with that could figure it out, they said, "We can't have payments and donations, so you have to take the donation portion off of your website." I said, "Okay. If I had known this, it was an easy fix.”
We had to take the stuff off, and then they had to submit it for review and it was during my busy season. I said, "Do whatever you need to do to my pay. Take off whatever you need to take off.” But I was still using Square. I don't even know when it was that I went back to ThryvPay. 'Cause I was afraid to use Thryv because I didn't want my customers going on there and not be able to make payments. But they have great customer service. They were very helpful and eager to make themselves better.

The Thryv Team has been excellent with the onboarding process. The social media posts have been professional, well done and completed way in advance for you to have time to review them. The Thryv system is easy to use and gives you the capability to add pictures to the posts and the ability to make small changes if needed. I wish we would have found them years ago!

Every time we get a job through somebody, I ask them where they got our numbers. Every once in a blue moon, people tell me, "Oh, I looked you up in the phone book." I'm happy with their service. The bills are on the high side though.

We use Thryv for advertising on the web. Our experience with them has been good. We're a storage facility and we stay full, so it's doing its job. We set it up on the automatic drive, but they took it off. Now, they're sending me a bill every month. I never understood that, but it's fine. It's not a big deal.

Our experience with Thryv has been good. We're using the billing, the invoices, the campaign, the content part, the marketing and the website. They've always been super nice, attentive, and have always answered my questions. There have been a few problems. But apart from that, I like it.

Thryv has been good. We use the social media service and there's a way for customers to contact us. They created a website for us. Thryv is valuable for what we use it, but if it comes to it, we would be okay without it.

We went from Jobber to Thryv, so it was a different format, but once we learned it, it was easy to use. We're a brand-new business, and we like how everything was set up easy. Also, customer service-wise, when we need something, we can call them, and it's a 24-hour service. Thryv did our website, then some advertising through Facebook and Google searches and the search optimization. The last month and a half, we haven't got any leads, but before that, we did good on leads from them.

We've had a good experience with Thryv. They helped us get our business page going, designed it for us and got our web page up. It helped us get our name out there. Before, we didn't have one. Also, they've always contacted us, followed up with us, and kept meeting with us. We've always had positive interaction with everyone we've come in contact with at Thryv.

Everybody with Thryv has been wonderful. They did a really good job of explaining what Thryv could do for me and what its advantages were. The lady who did the training after I signed up did a very nice job with that. I really thought she made it a point to make sure that I understood what I was supposed to be doing, how we're supposed to work, how I could get my questions answered and how to access the online help. I've been very happy, not only with their team, but with their service as well. Thryv has made it much easier for me to do the job that I want to do.
One of the biggest things I needed was a website that was more easily usable by potential customers, and that is definitely what I got. The way that I'm doing my ads is I want people to go to the website, then there are links on there, "Schedule an appointment. To get more information, call me." The website works very nicely and exactly the way it's supposed to. The customers go into the website, schedule an appointment, then I get an immediate email saying, "You have a requested appointment. Please respond and confirm." I go in, and within minutes, I can confirm the appointment, or if I can't confirm it, I can offer to reschedule to a different time.
I have a PayPal account, and I originally linked things to PayPal, and my customers had trouble paying through PayPal. It was very strange, because they would get a message that they still had an outstanding invoice, but I would get a message that it was paid. Thryv needs to be aware that PayPal does not work well with them, and that is on PayPal's end. At any rate, that only has to happen once when one has that kind of a headache with a customer. After that experience, I immediately contacted Thryv and signed up for ThryvPay.

We just signed up with Thryv and we hooked up the website. We want to do some more marketing. We have some traffic and hits. We picked up quite a few businesses. Our Thryv representative had been working with us and she had been doing things because she sent me updates and emails. Thryv is excellent and we're very satisfied. I had gotten so many messages and they are working hard because they contact us all the time. If I ever wanted to talk to somebody or when we had some stuff to take care of, they were right on the ball each and every time. I definitely recommend them.

Thryv has been great. I love it as well as our rep. He’s been good to us. We started using Thryv for my son’s business and then for my husband’s business. Then, there was another business that I was starting. Thryv is almost like an IT service. If we need something done on the website, we just call and ask them if they can update it. Our rep, Mike, has taken good care of us, is on top of it and in communication with us. If we have a question, he'll talk to us on the phone. But within an hour, he's at your doorstep.
Thryv has been helpful in a lot of different ways. It's made it so we're searchable online. We have a software called Mitchell and most mechanic places use it. There's a software that we just got hooked up with as a trial on accident. They were supposed to give us their lube sticker service but they did a bait-and-switch and we ended up in a texting service instead. So, we're in the process of getting that figured out. They integrate with the mechanic shop software so we don't have to do anything. It just automatically sends people we did business with two days ago on how we did. I would much rather use Thryv for this just because of the personal relationship with the rep. But it doesn't integrate with the auto mechanic software.

I was looking for some different ways to connect with the demographic that I represent the most. I reached out to Thryv. My biggest thing coming in was really rebranding the office with my face. The last agent who had been in the area had not had the best reputation with clients. I wanted as much as I could to say, “Hey, there's somebody new here.” We put everything in and I did the whole yellow page ad and everything else. When Thryv does that, they put in a phone number that ultimately goes to my phone number so it can be tracked. That generated 21 calls. So far, I've seen some positive impacts. We've seen a little bit of an uptick in calls. I'm very satisfied with the customer service. The rep Andrew has been fantastic in helping me with everything along the way.

The initial startup with Thryv was good and then, it's just learning the ways as you go on and proceed with the application. I use Thryv as a calendar guide such as setting up my appointments. I’m comfortable with them. We know how to use the system already so it’s good.

Thryv's service is good and does what I need. I need print advertising for my business and I see my rep once a year, which is all I need. He has been great. For the dollar you spend, Thryv is a reasonable marketing effort to keep your number out there for people who aren't as technologically savvy.

The general customer support of Thryv is swift. They are quite busy when it comes to putting together the website and getting those appointments. But otherwise, they're good. We were with Vivio and compared to some of the things that were happening with Vivio, Thryv is definitely better. It's easier to see the things that they're posting. Their service in terms of value included doing a website. We already had a website and they've been good at trying to morph that into something they could manage for better tracking. And that was something that was not included in the previous one.

Their customer service has been great. But I would like to hear a little bit more from them at least once per month. The first month was okay. They were contacting me monthly. But after the first month, I haven't heard back from them. It's been five months already since we had a sit-down meeting to figure out where we need to move forward. But they've been great, as far as them bringing me work and jobs and at getting my name out there.

The services of Thryv have been up and down okay. We really like the program and I had a lot of people reaching out to me to get everything set up. But then after, it just died off and there's been nothing. That's okay when everything's working okay. But the system was down last week. One of my big issues right now has really got me wondering as a business owner is when Thryv goes down and you're dependent on it, you're down too and that really sucks. I really got to find a way to have a backup where I can work when my data is not just in your cloud. I also noticed when it was down, everybody that was commenting on it was saying the same thing.
But we love how everything just goes right over to them, they can approve it. For the most part, we submit ideas and the Thryv team puts them together and tries to make them work. We've seen a lot of stuff that they've implemented over the last year. The system has changed and it's really well. We love Thryv. But I called last week to say, "Where's my money going?" Because some guy called me and added services to my account and he was gonna call to see how they worked a month or two later but I never heard from him. The next thing I knew, I was getting calls from Lauren about how everything was working in the company and I said, "I have no problem with that."

I like the convenience of Thryv. There are certain things that are a little bit difficult to understand and deal with and I understand it's a learning curve. I've already recommended Thryv to other colleagues and individuals that I've dealt with on a daily basis.

We've been using Thryv for quite a few years now. We use them for the email server and then mostly because it supports our website. They're easy to use and easy to work with. Every time we've called and needed assistance, everybody has been able to help us. We've never run into any issues with customer service.

I had Thryv’s service starting October of last year and had wonderful representatives who worked with me. Then I had a wonderful person who was doing some of the onboarding and training. However, I wasn't in a really good position to utilize the service at all. One thing after another came at me, so it was just me spending money and it wasn't fun to just lose that kind of money without doing anything or seeing any return.
They moved downgraded the service so that it could be something where I could utilize the Yellow Pages, Google, and get my testimonials. But, I was in a space where I was dealing with my health and my husband had had a head injury. So, now, I went down from paying 200 and something bucks a month to about 68 bucks a month, and I was still not using it. I was supporting someone’s business, so great. But it was not supporting my lifestyle at all and because I wasn't expecting the payments, it started to bounce my account. So, I had to cancel the service a couple of months ago. But I'm still a huge advocate for Thryv. They haven't lost anything except my monthly dollars.

We have Thryv for marketing purposes for the studio. We wanted to have a website and a way to have people be able to reach out to find out more information about the classes that we have to offer. That's our main way of connecting with people because they have that contact sheet that they fill out, and that's how we are aware of the inquiries. I've been appreciative of the customer service and the monthly calls that we have, and being able to learn more about what they have to offer as we apply it and we see the results. It’s been great.

Thryv is helping us with social media posting and advertising. They seem to be good for what we're using them for. The rep I worked with was helpful. Their cost is a little high, though. I've had some competitors call me recently. Their pricing is almost $200 less for about the same services.

Thryv does some things for my internet and some SEO stuff but they don't manage my website. All my paper advertising like phone may be through VIZIO. Thryv is in the background of what I do. We don't have a whole lot of interaction but they do what they're supposed to do.

The service has been fairly good. It's a great product. I love what Thryv has done. They help me get some social media going. They've been doing my posts for me. However, I'm finding it's not working for my business. I'm a bookkeeper so my life revolves around QuickBooks Online. The one way they feed into QuickBooks is cumbersome. I'm doing everything in Thryv and pushing it to QuickBooks, like creating my clients in Thryv, invoicing in Thryv, taking payments in Thryv, where my staff and I are so used to doing all of that in QuickBooks first then getting it to push to Thryv or talk back and forth. But it doesn't do the talking back and forth. What happens is I create it in QuickBooks Online then we still have to go create it. Then, hopefully, we've created it the same so that it merges. Otherwise, we have two.

I love Thryv. It's so safe and it does so much for us that it surpasses what it doesn't do for us. It makes people super happy when they do it. Other companies have called to try to sell us credit card stuff and when I mentioned Thryv, they say, "Oh, never mind. You're with the best." I love the customer service. Our rep Steven comes over and checks on us all the time.
Before we got Thryv, we already had a lot of business. But for social media, I'm glad it's out there. Business is good and Thryv makes it easy to get our deposits and our payments. I can stay ahead of time and email even 100% deposit. It makes things easier. Steven can come over anytime and that makes a huge difference as opposed to like calling up and some person has to call back. I really appreciate Thryv.

Thryv’s services are great. They're taking care of everything. Their customer service calls all the time to ask if anything needs to be updated, and that's great. They're professional. Thryv was trying to call me at the beginning and they wanted to get emails put in the computer. I just don't have time for that. They're doing everything for us.

We have the paper book listing and the online listing with Thryv. It's something we do to keep our business going. I had to reach out to their customer service last year because all of a sudden, our bills started coming late and then they would give us a late fee. We couldn't get the check and get it mailed back to them in time but they started mailing the statements a little earlier, so now we don't have any trouble getting them back.

I was looking for more marketing on the social media aspect of things. I thought that Thryv would be a good fit because they're more of a social media and I don't have time to do that. The girl that I'm working with, Caitlin, is really nice and I really like her a lot. She's super helpful, answers every question, and walks me through everything. She's always there. Thryv’s service has been valuable. I've gotten more responses from our email and text blasts. Thryv has been helping so I like it so far.

Thryv is a good service to have. The CRM has been working out well. Every person that comes through the funnel for me is logged into the CRM so I have them forever. And if they fill out the stuff correctly, I can better reach them and never lose them. I can automate a lot of the things to keep up with clients that I would normally not remember to do anything with or remember at all, if I'm just constantly moving forward. Also, I utilize the website. Thryv posts three times a week on my social media. So, it's good to have the programming service to keep me consistent in the social media aspect.
Greg is my account manager. He is super detailed. He has been selling for a long time but it doesn't come off as pushy. He tries to help. Over the past few months, I'm starting my new leads generation program. And it hasn't been producing as he or I think it should. So, he has kind crediting the account until it starts producing like it should. So, nothing but competence as moving forward. It's not just take the money and run. It didn't work out because of the market. He wanted to see it work. And I feel comfortable knowing that somebody else wanted it to work just as much as I do.

I did not have a good experience with ThryvPay so I stopped using them. But I've enjoyed the Thryv platform itself.

They've been able to do whatever I've asked them to do to this point, and they did a good job on the front end of explaining the products to me. The customer service has been very good. We have a digital marketing campaign and the website through them. They did a better website than what we used to have, which is part of what they set up. We need to have an online presence and they're doing a fine job with it. The CRM stuff is pretty straightforward to use. The website is not super easy to navigate as far as if you're trying to create your own content, but they've been fine. Whenever I call and ask them to change or add something, they're doing a good job with it.

When I started with the guy, everything was okay. But they take too long. There was a delay in doing the website and the advertising. They were so nice to try to say, “Oh, everything is gonna be okay.” But I didn’t like it. So I already canceled. The cancellation process was very hard because I got to speak with one guy and then another one and another guy. They told me they were going to give me a phone call in 24 to 48 hours, but they never called me.

Victor, this is very hard to hear. It's unfortunate that we didn't meet your expectation. Would you mind me having someone reach out to you to see if there is anything we can do. We value your business.

I was looking for a CRM solution and I know a guy who's a Thryv representative in the area. So I ended up sitting down and doing a demo with him and it met all my needs and it ended up solving a couple of other problems that I didn't know and provide solutions to. There's not a component that I don't have a use for, which has been really nice. It's been a pleasant surprise. Their customer service team has been great. But as far as their regional team, I've had about five Zooms with them to get up to speed on how all the components were.

Thryv covers a lot of bases for me that other companies were not doing. Most platforms, particularly from a therapeutic or wellness standpoint, give you a portal and a place to store your client information. I needed more than that. I needed a gorgeous website. I needed something that felt like me, not everyone else. I needed someone to do social media. There still is a lot lacking in the social media area but the fact that I don't have to do any of it saves me a lot of headache. I tell people that Thryv is the Lamborghini of web hosts. But here's the thing about owning a Lamborghini. Do you need a Lamborghini? Are you gonna enjoy the Lamborghini? Do you know how to drive the Lamborghini? For me, I don't completely know how to drive the Lamborghini, but I'm learning. I definitely need more than a Civic.
Overall, I'm very happy. However, there are a few gaps. Different people are in charge of different things and their caseload gets handed to someone else. If you have three different contacts within Thryv handling different things then any one of those contacts hands their case, you, to someone else, that's a fourth person you've met. Then another department’s doing the same thing. I'm not sure who's in charge of what because at this point, it's very confusing. Also, I get a lot of phone calls around Thryv, like how is ThryvPay, how is Thryv this, how is Thryv that. I'm getting more calls from Thryv than potential clients.

We're a mom-and-pop store. The rep I work with at Thryv handles all websites, social media, and marketing. She schedules when the articles come out on Facebook and/or our website, so it helps me out so I don't have to do it. We get together on a monthly basis and our fall sale is happening now and she's already scheduled it to go on our website and social media outlets. I email customer support if I have questions or concerns and it's very easy. If the rep doesn't handle that department, then she's got a whole team that will, but then she always gets back with me.

Thryv's services has been really great. They have put everything together on one platform. That was kind of the issue we were having. We had five different things to handle stuff, and we're using one thing now to handle the things that we need to do. So, it's been great. We do the billing through Thryv. We also use it for communication, through text message or email. We also use it to send documents to our customers. Thryv also hosts our website.

The main thing that I care about on Thryv is the social media posts and having the website rebuilt, which still needs to finish, but it looks fantastic. We have our management system. When people go to the website, I get some leads for new policies, and that's what I use it for, being able to chat back and forth. A lot of people have sent me contacts asking if they can write a blog for our website to be posted on our website. But I've never gotten an article. Right now, we're doing marketing sweepstakes. Charlie was in our office and they added a button on there so that way when people do the sweepstakes, we get their contact information through the Thryv portal by the button on the website. So that's been helpful, too.
Their customer service has been great. Charlie will come to the office anytime we need. She's offered to come in and train us but we just don't have the time. The girl that did the website was also fabulous. She was amazing to work with. We had one guy train me on the Thryv dashboard, but then he left and then they assigned another person to us. When she went to train me, she didn't know what the guy had already told me, so she just started over and I learned the same thing twice. There's also always someone to talk to and they are willing to do as many video chats and training as needed.

We were looking for ways to handle our service calls and to get in more customers. Another contractor told us that we should talk with Diane who was the representative that brought us into Thryv and explained it to us and how it works. We were sold on it and we love it. However, we have a few questions about some things that we were promised. They're supposed to be posting on our different social media sites but I'm not sure how it's working. It's going well on Google with our Google posts. From time to time, I'll get notifications that our Google post has had 10,000 views. I see our Facebook posts. They post on that platform faithfully. But there's nothing being posted on Instagram or on Twitter. I added in a LinkedIn account a few weeks ago. There's nothing posted on LinkedIn as well.
But so far, Thryv works well for us. It's a good service to have. The level of knowledge is on point. They really sell the product. If we have any questions, they would answer them without hesitation. If they're not able to, they'll get back with us after they asked a question to someone else.

I needed a website refresh as well as trying to step up some of our marketing stuff and to automate some of my social media stuff. After a rough start with Thryv, it's gone well. It would probably help if I had a little more time to spend on it. I'm still working on figuring out how best to use it for the business that I have. Their model works better for people who deal more with B2C or direct services, whereas more of my services are on a continuous basis. Their model is not quite perfect for what I'm doing, and I have some pieces that I don’t need that they provide because they're being provided by some other program I'm working with. Also, we had to change email providers in order to get them to work right 'cause my original provider was blocking most of Thryv's emails.

Thryv is a good program and they do a good job of training you. They set up where you can do video or just phone conferencing, and they'll walk you through it, and could mirror your computer so they'll show you, point to stuff and say, “Now, do this.” It's a good marketing tool also. Elizabeth, the young lady I'm working with now, is a super individual. She always gets back. I've had no problems with Thryv and you can make quick contact with them either by phone or by email. We also have a local person about 60 miles from us that has come down on several occasions and helped us. We still have a videotaping that they will do once we get a couple boats in the water and then put it on the website. The one thing I like about it is with Thryv, it makes it very easy for me to go in and tweak the website. Once they can talk to you and show you how to do it, it becomes very simple and I add what I want in, and it works very well.
At this point though, we're building a new prototype boat and we've lost one member so I'm in the shop working every day and not getting to do much with Thryv. But I see the potential down the road as we come up with more clients and it works on Facebook, Twitter and Google. The more I can get that set up, the more context we will end up with. I would recommend it.

Thryv has been good, especially for our online presence. We haven’t used a lot of it. It’s connected to our Facebook account, and they all do the posts for our social media. So, that definitely helps too. The biggest problem that we were having prior was being able to find our information. So, once we got the website up, that really helped us get a lot of new patients other than doctors’ referrals. A quarter of our business is coming from our online presence.
The representatives are very professional, very knowledgeable and very helpful. Any questions that we’ve ever had, especially during setup, they were extremely helpful. Thryv was very simple to set up. We did all the training, and felt like the teaching of how to use the program was very straightforward and easy to use. So overall, we’ve had a really good experience.

Thryv was lacking the ability to scan my customers in and then they also didn't offer the app that I'm getting with this other company I'm switching to. But outside of that, it was really great for me as far as tracking clients as they come in or as they register for courses, and then the reminders.

The customer service has been really, really good. Anytime I reach out, they are either able to talk me through it or we screen share, and they helped me that way. We’ve got a lot of positive feedback from our website. I like the fact that there's software attached to it so that I can track the numbers and the visits. There’s only been one issue that I’ve had. We bought another company and I have been trying to get it attached to our website. When we look up the other store, we wanted to go to our website. I went to try to see if it was working through Google. But it wasn’t. It almost gave me viruses, trying to go on the website.
I’ve been having trouble getting Google and our business to work together. So I don’t necessarily think the problem may be Thryv. It’s probably Google because I heard that they made a lot of changes, and it’s making it more difficult for businesses. Other than that, I really enjoy Thryv. I like the fact that I’m able to go in and make changes. But if I do need help, there’s somebody always there and that’s huge.

We use ThryvPay. We also use them for our website, for all of our invoicing, and for communication and scheduling. Thryv has allowed our company to be able to manage our customers, our communication with them, our work orders, and how we operate as a company. One thing that I really like about Thryv is that the software is basically idiot-proof. Also, their customer support is really helpful. They helped find solutions and if they don’t currently have one, then they try to figure out a way, either work around or add those suggestions for future developments.

The product is good. We’re an insurance agency and personally, I'm not for sure if the actual model fits what we want to do long term. But it is a good service for a retail type operations with the CRM tool. For an independent agency like us, it’s a lot of duplication with our agency management system. So it doesn't bring as much value to me as it would to an entity that is like an online retailer or sales product in a physical store and an online presence.

Thryv was hired to be our CRM provider. We do our marketing and all of our communications with our clients and our current students through them. It's where we keep track of all of our clients. For the most part, it was just a couple of times when I needed some technical support, and they were able to resolve it. There weren't any major problems. It was just something I didn't know how to do, and they were able to take care of it quickly. Overall, Thryv is quick to respond, and they understand the problems we're having, and everything's been going great.

I got in contact with Scott from Thryv and he was great. He did nothing but help and try the best way to put the information out there so I can make my own best decision. I can open the app and get in there, but as far as getting anything actually done, it's not happening. I rarely open that app because I'm not getting what I need done. I'm not tech savvy so it's very irritating for me to sit there and watch a video, trying to figure out what I have to do when I'm trying to do a particular thing. I don't need a generalization or to watch a YouTube video on how to do that. I'm paying for a service that I'm trying to utilize to the best of my ability. I understand that no one can sit there and be available to me 24/7, but that was what I thought Thryv was. I can send a message to someone and they’ll get back to me, but it wasn’t a true service. They were not being deceptive. But I can’t have an idea at 2 in the morning and hop on the phone with somebody.
After a while, I left it alone, hoping that it would get better. But I’m just one of those customers that need a real walkthrough. I do believe that the features can work for me. I just need to figure out how to make the features work for me the way I’m doing. Also, I bought a new computer and phone, switched completely away from iOS, and thought it was gonna be better. But it wasn’t too much better.
I couldn’t get my logo put into a circle on there with enough space for the detailing in. I wish Thryv would try the best that they can. If something has to be in a particular format, don’t tell me that it’s not possible to do that. They should explain to me what it means for it to be in a particular format that’s needed, so it can be reconfigured and I can understand these things. Don’t tell me what’s the best or the worst. Let me tell you my vision, and help me understand how it’s possible. Let’s see what the possibilities are, and please do not give me a template or clip art. That’s the frustrating part of this. I’m not a coder.

We've been really liking Thryv. We're getting a lot more leads from our website. Prior to Thryv, our website was hosted by a domain host that wasn't very helpful with that. But now, we have a really intuitive website that our customers can put in requests a lot easier. The person that we got enrolled with was the best person we've ever dealt with. I'm seeing a bit of success with the service but it's a bit expensive for what you get out of it. The service level has been good but my business is very competitive and it's very hard to get instant success with it. It takes time and is very costly as well. But they are really dedicated to people's success in their marketing.

There are some things that could be worked on and features that could be added, but overall, Thryv's services are pretty good. People are starting to find me better on Google and go to my website. It's still slow, but it's starting to establish. It's still new in the process. On the administrative end, whenever you're setting up forms, I think it would be easier to understand what fields you're putting in the forms if you could actually see the form being built. One of the big issues that I have is that whenever I've got a customer quote or invoice and I pull that invoice up without pulling the PDF of the invoice itself, I see the customer name and what's quoted, but it doesn't give me an address. I have to dig further into it. I do have to get in touch with them because I think they're overcharging me what they quoted me. The original package was like 169 and it was going up to like 199, but I'm being charged 299. Other than that, I felt good about their customer service.

Everything's gone as planned and even better. When I was transferring all my old stuff over and getting everything set up, Thryv was always there when I call. The experience has been perfect. I use Thryv for my cleaning business. Some people do Airbnb and some people just do deep cleans or post construction, and all that is organized nicely. So, it's helpful. And it's nice to be able to get the payments sent to people because not everybody wants to pay right away. So instead of me remembering to text them or call them every day, I can just put it in the system and the system bothers them every day. It's not me. So, that's nice. It's also good just to have in case I have to go to court. It's keeping record of that. I don't have to worry about me necessarily keeping record of it, it's all automated.
I have the full package so, I get all of the benefits. Thryv posts on social media for me and it saves me time. It’s convenient. It does everything in one instead of having multiple apps, like the social media app, the payment app, the scheduling app and the email app, which is why I like it. I already have 50 million things, but I don’t have to add 50 more million.

I've been with Thryv since they were cheaper and they provided a lot of extra services. But the main thing is how many calls I'm getting for people wanting me to come out and do a free estimate for them and then after, we’d get the job. It was doing okay though not as good as I was doing last year. It could be the economy or a number of things. Things have gotten very slow but it's not due to Thryv.
All I do is digital advertising and all of a sudden, I went to send a review to go on to Google to one of my customers through Thryv and they set things up for me so I could easily do it. The link is right there and it comes back saying, “Your Google account has been suspended.” It's a big ordeal and I'm trying to get it back. They suspended the account for a security reason. I was using my UPS box as my address, which they don't like. So, I immediately went on but I didn't know how to do it. It was all set up from the first advertising company that I had. I went in and I changed the address to my home address and just listed it so that customers can't see the address and did it that way. I had to fill out this form and send it to them. And they said it has been submitted. I had to try 10 times before it was submitted correctly, but it was submitted. And I've been waiting two weeks, and I'm still not on Google. I'm still suspended.
I have had some customers that have been able to get ahold of me. A lot of them, when they search in Dade County, they come up with my friend in Broward County who is the franchisee there. And as soon as they call him, he tells them to call me so, I've gotten a few there. But this time last year, I was booked four weeks out. And I'm only booked two weeks out. And most of the bookings I've got are from commercial customers that I've serviced in the past and references. It's not been very much from people searching. And that's the brunt of our business. Because once we do service for people, they don't need us for many years after that.
Thryv is coming on Monday, sending a videographer, which isn't costing me anything, to do some 60-second things to put on to YouTube and different kinds of social media. Nobody's ever offered anything like that before. They also had somebody go over my website. I told the old company who set up the website that I wanted to add a gallery and they said they would be glad to help me with that for $150 an hour. I told them to forget it and to just show me how to do it. But they never did. Thryv came in and said they would help me with that for free. And they've made some excellent changes. All Thryv has done is try to help me every step of the way.
I spoke to my franchisor and told them how much Thryv is giving me and what kind of service they're giving me at what price and that they've been doing everything very well. So, I even expressed on our quarterly conference call amongst the other franchisees that I found this new company if anybody's looking. I've been happy with Thryv so far. I just want my phone to be ringing a lot more.

I'm enjoying the service with Thryv and my success partner, John, is amazing. I have several businesses and he is helping me automate and simplify my life. The goal is to work on your business, not in your business. But right now, we're doing both. I've probably been with Thryv almost a year and it has taken me about that long to learn. But my success partners have been there with me every other week of the way.
The follow-up after an appointment has been scheduled and the follow-up thank-you email and asking them to leave a review are definitely helping to draw attention to the business. And when people go and they're searching for counselor, when I pop up, they're able to see those reviews and the process is a little more automated for them. We still have a lot more improvement to do. It has nothing to do with the software. But we're learning real-time here and I see it getting better and better. Thryv will simplify your life and your business, a place where you can keep your customer base and capture that important information that you need for customers. Because a lot of times, our client is not a one-time event. So, it's a great software for any business owner.

Everything has been good for my account on Daystar Distributing, especially with hosting the website and keeping up with sending posts out several times a month through our social media. I use Thryv’s calendar and their service has been good. It's organized and I'm able to keep more control of everything. It's just a little bit too pricey for what I use it. But for now, I'm gonna keep it because I like the customer service they have. It’s great. They call in so fast and every time I need something, they are able to deliver.

I got a website put up and that seemed to go well. It was the main thing that I needed built and that happened quickly. I get feedback and responses when I need them. Thryv doesn't have access to my Facebook because I was having issues with that. So, I changed my password and didn't give it to Thryv so that they can run their ads because Facebook kept locking up my account because multiple people had access to it. They shut it down for about two weeks and then finally, I was able to get back into my Facebook account. I'm not even sure what they're doing with the ads now, but I assume they're going somewhere but not on Facebook.

I have different reps with Thryv because of what I needed done with my CRM. I had to get it set up for insurance purposes, and then I had to have it to where I could send out individual messages instead of making a mass drip campaign. So, I had to deal with all kinds of different people. Right now, all I'm doing is just adding in contacts. I got over 10,000 contacts from the old business that I got to put into Thryv and I'm the only person right now. I just got 2,497 more contacts from my business partner that I got to put in too. So, it's very time-consuming because I have to check addresses and phone numbers. But around January I'll be able to start doing the campaign.

We were using Thryv for the Yellow Pages and they offered the software and the website. Our experience with them has been good. However, it’s not useful for our business. Because the business is one of a kind. We cannot create invoices and do estimates from their website. We do everything from our own software. But they have a good software. It's just not for us.

Thryv has provided us with most of the features that we've been looking for and in general, satisfies the needs that we have for customer management. Although over the last couple of months, our getting more business has not stayed consistent. Other than that, the reps have usually been pretty responsive. We have a representative that has been assigned to us and we're able to reach out to that person directly whenever anything is needed. They usually have a quick turnaround.

We've been using Thryv for a year. It is a very good company. It gives us a lot of help. The people that we meet, we can tell that they genuinely wanna help us in our business, so that’s what makes us stick around. So far, it’s going well. We had a few issues because we were upgrading our services, but then we weren't necessarily seeing it as far as having more customers walk in. So, we had to change it to a new program where we're doing SEO. We're still trying to wait. It just changed within the past week and a half. But their IT support has been phenomenal.

I had a great rep who helped me and lead me along getting this service. Everything was good. But right now, I've kind of throttled back, so I haven't been seeing as much as I was before. On their payment system, when they allow people to leave a tip, they should allow them to see the amount after the percentage, like what that tip amount is. That would make things a little better.

Our experience with Thryv has been good. I love the fact that their sales reps are right here, easy to access, easy to talk to and communicate with. Any answers that I need, if they don't know, they know exactly which number for me to call and to get quick answers. It's effective for me. I've been using Thryv for a couple of months now. I'm a marketer for a very large wellness company. They maintain our website and customer relations. I have a large network and a very large customer base, so I am utilizing the Thryv to send out announcements to people I know. So far, the feedback has been positive. In the beginning, they helped me with onboarding my large database. Not as well as I would have liked. I got a lot of duplicates, so there was still a tremendous amount of clean-up. We imported about 1,000 contacts. I only have 150 that are workable right now. So, I cleaned up some of it. But the nice thing is, specialists are always available. When I come up with a couple of questions, I get on with someone and they help me through it. I am highly recommending Thryv.

I love Thryv. There's a lot of good things about it and they're all so super nice. Joe, the rep, is fantastic, and the girls who we were setting up the website were just angels. They created a nice website and Facebook page for us, but none of our boys ever use the dashboard where you can put customers in. I couldn't get any of them to work it. It would be fantastic if there was a way for the guys to be able to digitally pull up contracts where the customers can sign and the guys could PDF it and shoot that contract via email.
The calendar in Thryv is lacking the ability to be able to put an address in there as well. What we do right now is we have a group thread and we send the addresses to each other. We have a schedule, "Okay. Tuesday we're in Ocala and we're going to this job." It's really brief and to the point. They're all three boys, and we need to be able to put the amount of the job and where it is. All the other information do not have to be in it.
We also paid for the SEO package, and I didn't notice a big difference for the first few months. Our phones barely ever rang. They told me that it takes a while for it to happen, but financially, we just couldn't keep affording that. We did it for six months. I talked to Joe, and he did something. Our phones are definitely not ringing off the hook, but they started ringing a little better in the last five weeks. Overall, Thryv has done a great job and I would definitely recommend them.

I use all of Thryv's services. Set up was done through a lady I’m in a networking group with. I met with her in person and she initiated all the conversations and phone calls. With the CRM, I’m able to keep track of my clients and that's been a benefit. I didn’t have anything like that before. Also, it’s been a while since I’ve had to contact anybody, but customer service has been really good. They answered right away, or they got right back with me about issues that I had, which was just questions on learning the system.

Joe was the salesman that came out to see me. Originally, I was just gonna have him come out to help me with the free SEO optimization help, just talk to him, but he did such a good job. There's a lot of qualities in the program that I could use, so I decided to go with it, and Joe's been great. Anytime I need his help, he stops by my shop to help me. I haven't utilized all of Thryv's features though. I was slacking on implementing the switch from what I was comfortable with and used to, to switching all my clients over and making the whole transition to do everything differently. However, my name's showing up better on the Google search, so that's been working. I would recommend Thryv, and I just got a video from Joe recently to start sharing around to some of my tattoo groups on Facebook.

Everything's been great. I haven't used them completely as full as they've been. They are hosting my website now that they took over from GoDaddy. I also have the social media thing that posts every month, which I haven't seen posting. But they send me an email saying they have stuff to be approved or we have a whole month worth of stuff. I don't see anything to click Approve so I don't know if it's even going out or not. But it's kind of my fault because I don't have the time. I'm a one-man team. I thought Thryv would manage it for me, but they really aren't. So I'm really suffering here.
Whenever I do interact with them, it's fine. They are great and very, very thorough. If I have questions, they're always answered. I was just hoping for a little more involvement. I was hoping someone would be handling the social media every day or posting things every day. But it's only happening three times a week. I don't have time to log in there and make sure that things are being posted on my behalf. I haven't even been doing a good job of using Thryv. I don't use their full services as I should be. So at this point, I'm just throwing away 200 bucks a month, which they are benefiting from.

I've been using Thryv for three months now, and I love the website. It's one of the best websites I've ever had or seen, and it's pretty productive, results wise. They do a good job with the social media posting too. It's good quality posts. Back in April though, I paid for the advertising package and the result from it was horrible. I do way better by myself. I'm getting at least 50 to 100+ a day, while they got me 59 activity in a whole month. I'm not impressed at all, especially with what they were charging. Back then, it was $2,000.
The paid advertising service is the only thing I don't like, and it's the most expensive thing. I would never recommend anybody for that. I've been paying for Google ads now for over a year, and my phone rings at least 20 calls a day. Out of that, I convert at least 5 to 10, which is good for my business. The way Thryv was going at 59 in a month, I can't do nothing with that. That's not translating to anything. However, thryv does great in other aspects, and I recommend for the stuff that I love, like the website service and social media posts. The $349 a month is worth it.
Thryv offered me a deal and I'm somewhat stuck in there for another three months. It's either that or I was gonna just have somebody recreate the website then go somewhere else. I committed to the six months, but in the past, I wouldn't really care. I would just switch to a different company, regardless. Right now, I'm willing to give it another shot. I'm not that optimistic, but I'm really curious to see if the results will change if I continue. I'm hoping that the results change for me to want to continue the service.

We have Thryv’s CRM. They're doing our digital marketing and built our website. A lot of our leads were going to another company in California and that company was kind enough to call and inform us that they were getting our leads via email. I've been in contact with our sales rep here in the last few weeks, trying to get this figured out. He's got his data team on it. But we're highly concerned with Thryv, in their competency right now because we don't know where our leads are going. Right now, we're starving for leads and we're still footing out thousands of dollars to Thryv at the moment, and we're not happy.
Lorenzo, our representative, has been quick to respond but we're not getting the answers. Last I knew, he put it in the hands of his tech team to figure out what was going on. We have a meeting set up next week with our representative and we're gonna give him an earful. We've worked with a digital marketing company prior to Thryv and they seem comparable. But the ad creation seemed nice. Thryv created some decent ads for us and seemed to be turning those over to fresh ads every so often, so I appreciate that. That's a little better service than what we had with the prior company.

Thryv has a lot to offer for the price. We use everything, the online, the web, invoices, FB ads. Also, the customer service has been great. When I call, email, or text, they respond quickly. They set up appointments. We got excellent customer service on everything. It's a lot to learn, so every time that I have a question, I send them an email or I set an appointment and they show me new stuff every time that I have a chance to meet with them.

Bill is the person I've worked with. He has been wonderful. He's very knowledgeable and a good person. I've also dealt with Stacey in Thryv's corporate office and she has been excellent. I love those people. I'm doing a lot of sending out announcements. I also send out videos. Primarily, that's what I'm using Thryv for. I'm just trying to figure out how to use the thing and make it pay for itself. The way that it works is not intuitive.

I was trying to get an online presence so I can get referrals for my X-ray company, and I signed up with Thryv. It's a hard demographic to try to capture because it's not really the patient or the person that requests an X-ray or that would know about a mobile imaging service that comes out to your house. I needed to try to get the doctors in my region to know that I have this service. So that way, if a patient isn't able to go to an imaging center, they can order through me, and then I can go to the patient and get the X-ray then. I needed that online presence on there, so that way the patients would know and be able to tell their doctor, "Hey, I could go to this place." And they'll come to me. The doctor just needs to put the order in to order it.
One time, I got a charge that came through at 2:00 AM, and it was $400. I didn't recognize the charge because the company name changed, so I was like, "Oh, my God, this is a fraudulent charge." My card reversed it. Then, it came up again and I was like, "Oh, my God. What is this? I didn't sign up for this." I finally got the company, and I was like, "Oh, well, that makes sense. Okay. Well, I guess I have to give you a different credit card because I messed this one up." Overall, I need Thryv, and it just needs to be there.

I’m doing the professional package with Thryv. So that's the website building and the social media. They set my appointment and also, my guinea pig for the Shopify. Thryv has given us more credibility because we didn't have a website before. With the Thryv app, I've got thousands of customers in my Square, and they integrate with Square. When I integrated my customers into Thryv, it created them as new customers. It didn’t hold on to the metadata from the sale, and basically creates them as a new customer.
My representative thought it would be a good idea and recommended that every new customer that we get, we're going to ask them to write a Google review for us. So I asked all my previous customers to write a Google review but because my business wasn't set up on Google, anybody that got that email, even if they wanted to leave a review, the link was broken. That was a big disappointment. All Thryv did was give me a credit for a month and a half. I was still quite unhappy. The issue wasn't resolved. It's still an ongoing thing.
The customer comes in as a Square receipt number. So you don't have an email or a text from them, or you don't get the customer's information at the time of the sale. When you want to send them an email, or if you wanted to reach out to them, there is some data in there. If you look through Square, you can actually get the data, but it doesn't tag on to that when you bring them into Thryv. But there is a way. If you go through and click on the sale, and then click into the sale, and then click another part of the transaction, it does have some data there that can be used. So I asked the initial lady that was setting me up before I graduated to the next part, and then she said, “Oh, no, you can't get that information.” So told her, “Well, just delete all those receipt numbers. What’s the point of me having them? I can’t do anything with those customers.” So then she deleted them all.
Five months later, I was speaking to a guy on customer service, and we went through the issue again. We found out that you can actually get the information. It just doesn't appear on Thryv or on the front end. You have to click in through the Square, through the transaction, and then there is some contact information there that didn't get dragged over. I’m happy that we found that out, but now, I’m a bit messed up that I’ve lost all that information on Thryv.
If I use the same CSV file, and I drag it over into Thryv, is it gonna duplicate all the customers that were already there? Is it gonna flag them up? He understood my concern and he worked on it whilst he was at home. He had people helping him as well. They basically cleansed the entire thing. They took all the duplicates out and replaced them. So that was a really great service. He saved Thryv from me complaining again. He completely overserviced me. That was an outstanding way to handle that particular situation.

The Thryv representatives have been great and really helpful. The sales rep was a nice guy out of Vacaville, California. I was at a point in my business where I needed some software. So far, we don't use the heck out of it yet because we're kinda just building our software program, but it's valuable. The only services that we really use are customer tracking, social media platform, and website building.

Thryv reached out to me last year and we finally did our meeting at the beginning of this year, and I liked their software. So, we went ahead and worked with them. For the most part, everything seems okay. The software really helps a lot. It made my quoting way faster because before I was doing it all manually where I was typing in on like a spreadsheet. With the Thryv software, it makes it more streamlined.

Never works. Wastes a lot of time. Spend more time soliciting your review than fixing things. Mistakes on my website. Many calls from people telling me to have a nice day and not fixing things. Support chat totally ineffective.

Thryv's software is great. Their social media advertising is fantastic. The online presence portal definitely made a difference and it helped because I was able to get my information posted to more places, and it was all accurate. Thryv has an excellent program that is definitely a really good solution for any small business. Client intimate and communication tools are there. It’s got scheduling and social media, and it’s all under one platform, where typically, you have to get five or six different services mish-mashed together to make all of that happen.
It's just that I’m a bookkeeper, and they have made it very clear that adding task tracking through their software is of no priority and that's what my business relies on. That's also one of the reasons why I wanted to use a service like theirs. So, I decided to cancel. The customer service has been fine. Every time I call, I pretty much get my questions resolved or answered. The only thing is they said the cancellation would take up to 30 days, and I haven't heard anything back in a few weeks.

I wish my Google My Business linked better. I've been having trouble with that and trying to explain to the team. Other than that, everything has been going good. Every time I have a question, I email somebody and I get a response back. Everybody helps me out with any problem that I have. I'm still new, so I know that things aren't gonna happen overnight. So, I understand.

Thryv is just a waste of my money. I gave them $1,300 a month for the last five months but I'm still on the third page of Google, and I've received zero sales from my website. So, it has done nothing for my business. Facebook has been more valuable to me. I'm gonna call the guy that set me up with the whole thing and cancel everything this week.

Thryv's customer service was really good in the beginning, and I was able to utilize some of their platform, but not everything I paid for. Everything was going great till they canceled me due to nonpayment. They finished my website but never made it live so I put a stop payment on the payment and said, "Listen, I got no problem paying it, I just need you guys to finish my website." They never even called me back after I didn't make the payment. I called quite a few times and left messages, and I got a manager that didn't do IT. Every time I called, I would get transferred around a bunch of different people, and then, "Somebody's gonna get back to you," and nobody ever did. I'm still trying to get ahold of them. If everything worked the way they said it would, it would've been awesome.

We moved from our print material to the online program through Thryv. It has worked pretty well for us. But, we're an older established company so most of our work comes from word of mouth or referral. And with the Thryv program, we don't use a lot of the features that they offer because we're just a small company. We could downgrade a bit for what we're paying but we want to keep the service. Other than that, all of the reps that we've had in the past have always been really great to work with and very helpful. I've had good experiences with their customer support.

Every single person I talked to was very helpful. I'm still in the very beginning phases of my business, so I didn't get to use the product to the full extent and they tried to help me as much as they could. We haven't started making any money yet, but I believe the product is very valuable and I hope to continue to use it. Some people might think the cost is a bit too much, but because I got my website and my domain name, it was worth it.

We went with Thryv, and they have been wonderful helping me get set up. Any time I call them and I need help with something, they're always there. I would definitely recommend them. I love the system that they have provided for me to use. A lot of our customers, they can't pay cash or checks, and we offer credit cards over the phone.

Everything that Thryv is doing is working. We did advertising and a website, and for the whole year, I've been paying for the program and invoices. The support is good. When I call them if I got something on the website, they're pretty fast. I've recommend Thryv to three companies.

Alan came in and explainined Thryv to me. And one thing that caught me was the social media, how they could get us out there, and I thought that was cool. It's a gamechanger. We are working with Brian and he got us a game plan going because we are going to clean up the client list, making sure the tags are updated. Because we used QuickBooks Online and we noticed that there's a 'Bill to' and a 'Ship to' address. We do a lot of apartment rentals for local landlords. We talked to Brian and Alan about that and they're working on that with us. When we noticed it, I called Alan right away. It was a Thursday and he said, "Let's meet on Monday morning." He came in and was very attentive. And we showed him how QuickBooks looked and how the Thryv invoice looked. I said, "We want it to match." And he said, "Definitely." So, they listened to us.

I needed to get a website, and Thryv was helping me with that. They were very helpful. There was a lot of changes and we did a lot of Zoom meetings. As a matter of fact, my company is listed as a contracting company and I texted the rep Joanie to do a change. If there's any changes that I need to do, I just tell her and she does it. Thryv also has a page where I'm able to do posts, and I send them out to my Instagram and Facebook. They put a post out for the company as well. Overall, my experience was good. I was in communication with Joanie, and she has been very great.

Bryan was the first person I talked to with Thryv. He was very welcoming so I took a chance. The link of the social media really helps. However, I wish Thryv had a POS system and a thing called Thryv for dummies. Sometimes when you talk with them, they'd say, "We're going to reach into this optimization to do this and that.” A lot of new business have no idea what that is.

I like to have everything, including everything about my customers, in one CRM. So far, I'm confused with certain things that the website is not very user-friendly on and I need to get on that. Also, they still have not reached out to me as far as having my website ready. So, I need to reach out to them and get that done. Apart from that, customer service is great. We’ve used Thryv since January. We use their CRM and the website, and we do some advertising from them as well. People can go on online and schedule, and instead of using multiple different platforms to do everything, we're doing it all from one place. Customer service calls us then we schedule the appointment and we go out and do the service. We like Thryv because they send out a reminder afterwards for them to do a review, and then send them reminders before their appointment. It helps with the techs because it sends them reminders as well. Everything's stored in one location. The whole CRM is tied into one, and my guys liked it. It's a lot easier to use than other stuff that we've used at other companies. I'd recommend it to people without question.

I had a bit of a tricky situation when I went through Thryv initially. My previous website designer stole my domain name and would not return it to me. They went through the motions to contact him and get that back from him, and they didn't charge extra for that. They just did that because I needed my domain name. They went above and beyond. They also did a phenomenal job making meetings with me and took all of my information about how I wanted my website to be. I did not have to do a lot of work myself. I just told them about my service and the representative put together a really nice website that I only had to make a few corrections on her work. It was really spot-on. I recommended Thryv to a colleague today and said that they were super professional and had reasonable fees.

I'm a tax preparer and I already had a social media page, but it wasn't being utilized very well. It got much better after I signed up with Thryv and their service is gonna be a lot more valuable next year. I got all the clients’ emails, phone and cell numbers, and names, and that's gonna be loaded into the system then we can reach out to them next year using that and encourage them to make an appointment. I have a meeting with Thryv next week to set up a website. It’s too close to the tax season to make the website working. I was too busy, so that’s still in the works. I've also called and talked to customer service three times, and it's wonderful. On a 0 to 10, I’d be a 10. I don’t know how it could be any better.

I use Thryv for everything. I use their social media posting, the appointments and the client portal, which I've reestablished to make projects to serve clients. I also use the documents file sharing. I was originally using ClickUp, Square, another booking form and a couple of subscriptions through my website. I was using a subscription to schedule posts for social media, and I don't have to do that anymore. Thryv allowed me to get rid of a bunch of subscriptions and it saves me money in the long run. Also, when I first signed up, they were kind enough to waive the extra fee that came with it.
Customer service has been quick and easy to navigate and easy to communicate with. The last contact I had with customer service was over being unable to access the Thryv dashboard. There was an outage, so I inquired if they had any status on that. The person I spoke to gave me a rough estimation on when it would be fixed, but it was fixed a lot sooner than he said. I'm pretty happy so far. I've been monitoring the future releases and they already have a couple of things posted to be released that I really need.

I love Thryv, and more importantly, I love my account rep, Laura. She is incredible. She is someone who gives up her time over and over again. She goes above and beyond, very attentive to the company's needs. If we need assistance or additional training, she's there. She is a true asset to Thryv, and I've referred multiple people now. Also, Chase is very helpful and patient. I have some people that work at the company that are slower than others, and Chase is very cognizant that change is very hard. Another one, Donald, is also extremely helpful. Everyone that I have met from the company, that I've had calls to have interaction with, are fabulous. I really appreciate everything they do.
I noticed that the social media postings are giving me a broader audience, but I know that I am not utilizing Thryv to its fullest potential. The issue is I have a lot of pushback in the company. People are afraid of change, so getting them to change habits that have been set in place for 20 years is very hard. With awning design, it's going to be a very slow haul to really be able to utilize and maximize all of Thryv's potential for the company. Still, their people are fabulous.

My rep that I deal with was straight to the point. So, he did good as far as explaining everything and teaching me the ins and outs, and how to use the app and advice that he was able to give me. I had a couple questions about sending estimates via text message. So, he's in the process of helping me figure that out. Also, I love the app. I love the fact that I can keep track of the estimates. And I like how they're set up on the app. It makes me feel more organized having Thryv.

I have an installation and a junk removal business, and I've been struggling trying to get a website. Joe, the rep, got it all built, but I'm still struggling to figure out how to run it. I'm an old farm kid that turned into a business man. The biggest thing is half the time, I don't even know what I'm doing, so it's been a little slow. I've tried to get my customers incorporated into the plan, and I forget then I'm done with the job before I ever think about it. I've also tried social media and I got Facebook, but I'm not cut out for that. So all the help is good. Overall, I'm happy with what I know and just trust that Thryv is doing the job for me.

I use Thryv all the time. I do scheduling on it. I write estimates. For billing, I don't use ThryvPay. Most everything is done by check. So, in the last two years, we've taken three credit cards. If that changes, we’ll most certainly expand to Thryv because it's cheaper than credit cards. Other than that, I like it. It has been valuable for me.

I've been using Thryv for three weeks and it's worked out great. We're using it mostly for social media connections, so that we can make one post for all of our social media. It's been helpful. As a new general manager, to be able to make one post and have it in four places, and a good connection to the website too, it makes fixing my website a lot easier. The training gal, Bailey, has been very helpful and nice as well.

I'm a small business owner and I'm starting to have some growth. I was trying to utilize Thryv's payment services along with its ability to do emails, which has been a 50-50 thing. I'm not quite liking the emails. And the ThryvPay seemed to work, but they said they thought I was doing something fraudulent, so they canceled it.
I'm gonna cancel the entire service because I thought I was handled wrong. I did all of their compliance. I was very forthright. I tried to pay myself through my credit cards and they told me I couldn't do that, which was no problem. I immediately refunded my credit cards. But the one business leader that I worked with, who was paying all my bills, suddenly said, "His payment to me was some kind of fraudulent." I didn't understand that. They made me send them a contract, which I was glad to do. I did it within 30 seconds of their request. And I had to wait for them to respond. It took many days. And when they finally did, they said, "That didn't work for us because only you signed it. We don't see your client's signature."
When I insisted that they follow up and be more customer-friendly, they told me that, "We've decided that we can no longer do ThryvPay with you," and they canceled it. But when I sent them a message a couple of days ago about, "Thanks for letting me know. Please refund my client." They wrote me back and said, "Oh, no, but you still have the ability to refund your client." I'm at a loss with all of it.
I've made Thryv aware that their whole email system is not integrable with anything other than Gmail, and I use Outlook. So, we tried to do that through Outlook, but it's a bunch of scribbly kind of emails that come into the service. It's not something that I can use. And I was hopeful that the email system would be the kind that would allow me to do follow-ups to make some decisions based on the data that's in the emails, like a Salesforce. I had the idea that he was going to do what Salesforce does, but something that was friendly in terms of price for a small business such as myself. And I learned after integration and all of that that's not what was happening.
I would have been happy to keep Thryv just for the payment service. But it charged me the monthly fee a few days ago. I'm more offended than I am anything. Before my next subscription date, I have to consider what I'm going to do because my website is amazing. It's just sad that I gave an initial investment and been paying the monthly on time and that I have to consider a new service for it all. The part that drove me nuts is that they were very kind and dismissive. I would have rather a screaming match or something. I'm not happy. I will say my experience on social media and I would like a better explanation of what happened because I don't know what happened other than what they said. I did nothing wrong. And especially those people that I've recommended that they should consider it, I'm not gonna do that anymore.

One thing I liked about Thryv was the social calendar which worked well for a while and maybe didn't work so well lately. So, I've kind of backed off of that portion. I've heard from other team members that are doing some of that work that connections to some of the social sites keep breaking and have more difficulty posting different things through the scheduling program.
I think there were always some things that didn't make sense to me like posting videos. There were a lot of requirements on Thryv’s end that weren't necessarily of the end-user. Facebook and Instagram had requirements to go through Thryv, but if you just went directly to Instagram, then you avoided all those things.
Initially, we had the CRM and the client management, and they didn't work for us. We went in. We loaded up a fair number of clients into it, but it's not very user-friendly. There were a very limited number of HIPAA support people. And for being a healthcare client, they said you can only deal with a HIPAA-certified person on their team, and there are not many of them. At first, it seemed like they really wanted to help and wanted to work with us. Then slowly, the relationship has kind of developed into minimal contact and less and less support. We're probably fizzling on using it.

Thryv did good building the website but they need to be more competitive about building a website and getting customers, instead of just building a website and then trying to get customers. They strain you. When you start a business, trying to get money, getting a website is expensive enough and then they hit you with another cost to get customers. Sometimes it's just not affordable. But other than that, Thryv has been great.

The experience with Thryv has been nothing but exceptional. For the last six months, we've been working with them and we have two businesses that deal with them. We have email via Thryv. My experience with Thryv has been all right. The product is a little harder to use. I'm having a problem with using it in the field because it's so slow, but I keep it because it's tied to my website. I’m sometimes doing stuff in front of a customer and it's awkward sitting there for two to three minutes sometimes. As far as their representatives, it's hit and miss. Sometimes people are knowledgeable, and other times they aren't. It's somebody different every time.

I like Thryv a lot. It's really helped our business grow. The only thing that's been frustrating is communication. When we first started with Thryv, I was told by the salesman, Chris, “Zach, we're going to be having a meeting once a month just to go over things, make sure you're doing great. You have a team that will be assigned to you for your website, for your social media stuff, your account. You'll have somebody assigned to you to help you if ever have questions on stuff.” The monthly meetings never happened with Chris at all. The people that were assigned to us for our account helped us throughout our first year, and things were fine. Anytime I had a question or anytime I needed to schedule a meeting and have a 30-minute meeting with somebody on our team, that happened. We would schedule a meeting. We would go over what questions I had and what I needed to do and that was fine except for recently.
I had scheduled a meeting with the person that was assigned to our team and the meeting was accepted. It was scheduled for a certain day, and I went to that meeting and nobody else showed up for that meeting. It was a no-call, no-show. I sat there and I was like, “Well, okay. Maybe they were busy. Maybe something had come up. Maybe this person was sick and something happened.” So, I sent an email. Two days go by and I still didn't get a response on that email. Nobody had reached out to me saying, “Hey, Zach. Sorry we no-called, no-showed.” It was just dead silence. So, I was sitting there for days thinking, “Oh, well, Thryv just gave up on us. Nobody wants to help us anymore.” I had a really bad taste in my mouth and I started looking around for other companies. Maybe Thryv is done with us because nobody's reaching out to us. Nobody's connecting with us.
Then I had messaged Thryv through their online messaging and I had said, “Hey, this is what happened. I was just reaching out to see what's going on.” The person had said, “What do you need help with? What can we do for you today?” I just said, “Well, I had this meeting that somebody no-called, no-showed, and I'm just wondering, do I still have this person on my team anymore? Has it been switched over to a different person?” The response was, “You no longer have anybody assigned to your account. If you need help with anything, you call the 1-800 number and they'll help you."
That was discouraging as well because now I'm sitting here like, “Well, nobody ever told me we were just not going to have a support team anymore. I was never made aware of this.” It would have been good if somebody had emailed me and said, “Hey, Sebastian’s no longer a part of your team anymore. If you need help, here's a link or here's something.” I do need some help with our account. I don't really want to call the 1-800 number and talk to just some random person.

We use Thryv to save contacts and to post on social media. We've been dealing recently with Noel, and the experience hasn't been above and beyond, but I don't have any complaints about it. Thryv has set up an electronic post for the social media accounts for the King Law Firm. Apparently, it's been double-posting and posting things that I've gone through and have deleted for future days. They're still posting things that aren't even relevant to our law firm. I tried to speak to Noel about it. He pretty much said that it was our fault because we’re the ones posting it. Thryv is only set up to do two days a week, but we have set it up to do more. So, to me, it makes no sense if I've gone through and deleted it, and they're still posting that incorrect post.
Noel said we would have to delete all of our posts completely to have them automatically generated because he's swearing that they only do it the two days post when it is actually posting every single day. I had gone through the whole year and deleted posts and had it all set up so that posts that were pertaining to the company were being posted and not things that we are not practicing here. Then I’d made sure everything had a post and now, on certain days, it’s duplicating posts and then putting incorrect stuff there that I've already deleted. I was pretty much told that there's nothing that they can do because it's our problem.

It's working out pretty well. I feel like I'm getting a little more traffic than I normally would have. Also, I call in when I need and they get my question answered. Sometimes, it takes a while to get to the right person but otherwise, it's been working good. Other companies seem to have a problem with the online scheduling and my online document handling. There isn't anybody that will give me the same thing that Thryv gives me.

Thryv has been pretty valuable. I was just using it for scheduling and keeping a customer list all in one area. But now, we finished our website that they've been helping us work on. That was launched yesterday. Their rep Maurice was walked me through Thryv pegs. We've been using Square and I eventually would like to get everything on Thryv. One of our main concerns was the invoicing. The way it prints out or emails is very small and it only takes up half the page. You can barely read out our logo. It's a blurry blob of color and you can't see our business name. We went to the support center and made a little request to see if we would be able to get our logo and invoice bigger in general. I noticed there were a lot of other customers that felt the same. Hopefully, it's something that we can do soon.
Other than that, we've been pretty happy with Thryv. I've been clicking around and playing on it for the last 30 minutes and some of the stuff that Maurice showed me earlier. Sometimes I get a little nervous about clicking on things because I'm not the best on the computer. Thryv has been fairly easy and I'm just trying to absorb all the different things that this thing can do.

Thryv’s services have been pretty valuable. It's an area that we wouldn't be advertising or wouldn't be in without in terms of the Yellow Pages, especially for a particular area of the business. The target demographic is a little older, and they're more likely to look up services through something like the Yellow Pages rather than go online.
Our representatives from Thryv was very helpful. It was kind of a short and sweet process. It was just a matter of renewing what we had done the year before, and she actually hooked us up a little bit. Her name is Christy. If I have concerns, I would most likely just reach out to Christy and then bring them to her attention. Other than that, there aren't any check-ins. For the most part, there haven't been any issues. From our experience, Thryv has been a useful complement to our core set of advertising and marketing strategies.

We wanted to get some support on customer retention and connecting to social media so we can put out blasts and also do invoices. Thryv has been a great help. We just did some boosts but there is one service we need to cancel.

We needed something that would allow us to communicate better with our students and keep track of all of their activities and their payments and everything. We wanted to have one-stop shop. But when I have a problem that I need to have answered, it takes Thryv too long. I'm in a business, I'm a small business. And a lot of times, if they don't come back with an answer, they just don't come back with one. That's why I keep reaching out. So, I'm disappointed right now.
I like the fact that the people they work with, the one-on-one assistance, they are really good. But sometimes they can't get the answers that we need because of somebody above them. So, all of the personal people they have that help with us, they're good. We really like this. Just the organization has a lot of shortcomings on the system and they don't seem too excited about getting it fixed.
There's no form that I know of that I can use that tabulates everything. I have a school and my school has adults get their high school diploma from home. So, when they finish, I have to put their grades in for their diplomas and their transcript. But I can't get a form that does any calculations for me. So, everything has to be done by hand. It's 2022. There ought to be something there. And I've expressed that, but no answer so far.

I use it all - all my appointments, my marketing stuff, the documents. I love it. Also, thryv's education is amazing. They offer a lot of training. I don't usually have to call too often, because I just got done with eight weeks with Stacy. The only thing I wish for, and I know Thryv can link it up, is QuickBooks. I use an old version. They make me upgrade every two years and it's so expensive. I don't like that. So, I don't use QuickBooks to its full capacity. But what I do like is the tracking of things. I own a hair salon, so I wanna know how many waxings and perms we do. So, if Thryv could add something like that to their program, it would be so complete. It wouldn't get any better than that. Payroll would be hard to do. But if they could integrate almost like a QuickBooks, but wouldn't be so demanding, that would be amazing.

I've been using Thryv for two years now and everything's great. We just keep using more and more of their products. They mostly do CRM, email, text marketing, and website. Our business has grown and our revenues are up. The phone's ringing more, and everything that comes along with it. It's taken some time, but my Google standards have gone up. We started another program with Thryv to even increase that. Customer service has been the best. My rep is awesome and he answers any questions I have. I can call him just about anytime I want. Plus, I got 24-hour customer support in every aspect. I highly recommend Thryv to everybody I know who's in business.

We're a public utility and we have Thryv because we're an emergency situation kind of place. If you have a natural gas furnace, you can call us. We use Thryv because we have to. We have to advertise. Illinois Commerce Commission requires us to put publications out in all phone books and we do. I have to put a public notice out every year for our year end stuff and the places are gone. Thryv was the only area of publication. They call and renew us every year. We added our website and we've made some progress in the digital world.

The way Thryv is set up makes it easy for somebody who's not "tech-savvy" to get some automation and some CRM set up. I wanted to have a website tied to a back in office-type thing, where if people wanted more information from the website, there will be a lead capture and follow-up and all that automated stuff. Allowing clients to book appointments online was another big feature for me. Thryv is great if you have an online presence. But if that's not your business model, then that might not be a good fit.

Thryv has been over the top but not in a bad way. They reach out to me way more than I reach out to them. They have been more anxious to get my stuff done than I have. They've been great. They are helping me get our website set up, and also helping us to do well on the search engine side of it. We're just getting our company started. But I am excited to use their portal where we keep track of our clients. I haven't used that yet, but it seems like it's going to be something I'm going to like.

Thryv is doing a good job for us. Everybody we've spoken to has been really good and very professional. We are at a crossroads on our business right now where we're waiting for a facility to come through, which is why we came on board with Thryv. So we're not maximizing it to what we could be or should be. But I like the platform and the whole service. It's got so many different levels to it that I don't even think we've scratched the surface on stuff we could or will be using in it for.
My buddy and I do soccer coaching and we're trying to get more professional with regards to setting up schedules online and people being able to book online versus what we were doing at the time, which was manual text messaging from our personal cellphones. We want to set up a bunch of group activities and events that we're able to run through Thryv. People are able to go off our Facebook or Instagram account and use Thryv's links to complete a booking.

I was wanting to get online. I used Thryv for this and they are a great company. They answer the phone every time I call and they're very knowledgeable. You deal with the same people. I had a couple of people that helped me set my website up and I work with them every week. It's almost like you hate to see them go. We have no apprehension. Some of the people work out of their homes but they're still on their game and they know what they're doing.
Thryv has great technology and software. They're always updating everything that they can to stay on top of things. It's really pleasurable to deal with them. I do high ticket stuff with construction contracting. Thryv has valuable services and if somebody uses it, they get a value out of it. I didn't use the app and just kept my website. As the company grows, I'll get some office people. I've mentioned to Thryv some changes that they could have made and it was a few months later they messaged me back and said, they did the change. They're working on stuff and they really want to provide a good value and service. They want to improve constantly.

Thryv's service was more explained than the others and they took more initiative. I liked the way they presented the software, and it was geared to what I was looking for. Thryv keeps me more organized. Before, I was doing all my appointments via journal. Having their service allows me to capture emails from my customers as well as connect with them via the same software for any messages or any required documentation that I need. I had a question regarding the language, and they offer both languages. I have a lot of Spanish speaking people, and they have that capability where I could type something in Spanish and even any text that is customized to the language I indicate.

I do post closings so I am supplying information and everything into Thryv for us to send out. It's very easy to use and I like how everything is all-in-one when I'm putting in all the information because we do emails, names, the tags of who everyone is. I like that to keep everyone organized. Then, when we need to send things out, we can do it by group. Everything is condensed into one area so I don't have to click around to add information. I have no problems with Thryv at all. It works out well for me.

I like the fact that Thryv is posting for social media and when I send updates for my website, all that is being taken care of. Everybody's always helpful. If I don't get an answer quick enough, all I got to do is call Shane, and he makes it happen. Shane is great. I'm a newer business myself and I'm trying to figure out what's working for me, and somebody's got to manage the website, and I've got somebody making the calls now. So the price for the website and the post on social media is why I'm staying where I'm at. If there was a way to pay less, I would definitely do that.

They've always been upfront with me. There's no real surprises. They do follow up with inquiries. They're constantly reporting. I definitely gotten more business than I've paid out to them. So Thryv definitely works for me. My only issue is that they’re costing a little bit more than I would like. But it is still good. You get your money back. I’m happy with them.

Thryv had caused me to lose three clients and I'm done. When I tried to get into Thryv, most of the time, it was very difficult. I ended up having to call. This last time, there was no way for me to get in. They couldn't get in. They didn't know what was going on. Nobody knew. They also come out and take a picture or a movie, but when they tried the first time, I was very ill and we never teamed up again. Nobody has ever even bothered to say anything. I'm supposed to get a 10-second blurb of little doodad so I can put it on my website but I got nothing. I got Thryv to help me with my advertising but I'm not getting that. There's no service. When you call, nobody knows what's going on.
I have all these emails from everybody and they're no good anymore because they go away after a certain time. I wasn’t aware of that. Nobody bothered to tell me. My clients can't go into their portal and see something they need and download it because the time has passed. So I have to resend it to them. The other thing is that the notes go away after a certain time. We're required by law to keep notes. But when I need the notes, I have to do a cut and paste to get my notes.

I've been told that we have spoken to you and addressed your concerns and that you have been taken care of. I'm happy to hear that you will be staying with Thryv. Thank you for your business.

Thryv's system is functional and it does what it's supposed to do. It has more features to it as it grows. But I wish that the website was a bit more like my original website which was a WordPress and that had much more abilities to have different systems sync into it. With that, I was able to buy different software that connected to my website. I'm a chef and I was able to put recipes in that people could click increase or decrease on and the measurements would change. People were also able to give feedback or share it. I was also able to generate processes and taxes quite easily. I hope that Thryv does the website where it has more functionality.
Eventually, once I start to sell products, I will need those taxes generated correctly without any kind of headaches or hiccups. We've been having a lot of hiccups when it comes to the pricing and it’s automatically popping up with that process with that processing fee. I was telling Stacey, my person, that I would like taxes to automatically generate. I can't individually charge someone. My products are supposed to be selling in my sleep. I don't want to lose money because something on the website isn't working well. I want something that functions even when I'm not able to get out of my bed and function.
The one thing I'm happy about is that I am getting more Google searches. So I am getting phone calls, even though I'm not doing anything on my side as far as any social media or any promoting. I'm appreciative that Thryv does those things for me. I also like that I have a person that's dedicated to talking to me about the things that need to be done with the website.
