Mail forwarding is sporadic and magically happens only after I call and complain. Out of a year, they have a less than 40% success rate with me. My clients send important documents to me and I have to call them up and ask them if they received the mail. Most of the time they do not answer the support phone line. When I get a hold of someone finally, the mail will be forwarded to me within a few days. I am now terminating my agreement with them (after a year of struggling with them). I still am dealing with "missing mail" with them. The client sent the documents and has proof, these guys said they forwarded them (with no proof they did). The documents have been resent but these guys will not respond to requests (through their website) or return calls. There are more responsive companies out there that actually have a live person on the other end of the phone and e-mails.

Working with Alliance Virtual Offices has been the absolute worse experience, good luck closing your account. They make the process long and extraneous. They will call collections agencies over the smallest sum of money. I cannot believe I got a call from an attorney saying I owe them such a small amount of money. Never working with Alliance Virtual Offices again. Also, I did not get any mail, I’m not sure if they’re throwing it away or what but I got nothing. Do not work with them, find alternatives because they are not it, save yourself from ruined credit and headaches.

She told me she would note my account and that was it, But today a collection lady emailing me, This is not good business practices.

Contacted Alliance Virtual Office Customer Service today 6/1/2021 and she then say put it in writing so I sent a email to cancel today, I referred so many people to use this service after I thought they were a honest company, But they are thieves and have customer service that must not be doing their job. It's sad that a company would lose their reputation for failure to document a phone call from a customer. I'm gonna pay the $130.00 but stay far away from this company. They have to be broke during Covid to be dishonest knowing the rep should of said, "Put the closing request in writing." I will never refer any of my customers to use them either,

Juan from their HQ personally reached out to me and got my mail issue sorted out, also issued a refund. Figured out a way to communicate with the local office.

    Original Review: June 9, 2020

Extremely disorganized and unprofessional. I called the main office to see if any mail had arrived at my virtual office. They were not able to get in touch with their local virtual office. Said they sent an email but nobody got back to me. The following week I personally went to get my mail, but the door to the office was locked and it looked like no one was there. I called Alliance's HQ, they still could not get in touch with the person who job it was to manage the virtual office at 18-20 Lackawanna Plaza in Montclair, NJ. The headquarters gave me the local office number, so I called myself.

I could hear the person answer the phone through the door!! He tried telling me that he was not at the office. Said I needed to make an appointment two days in advance to get my mail. (Nobody told me this when I signed up for their service, and I had already called the previous week.) He refused to leave his apartment and open the office so I could get my mail, which is very time sensitive. Told me to call alliance. I left, and then when I was outside he called me back again saying he would call the police if I came back.

This place is run like a joke, I wish I never signed up with them, total waste of time and money. And there's a 6 month contract. They even charged me a $50 set up fee. The set up was supposed to take 24 hours and took closer to a week! Stay away from this company. They are extremely unorganized, unprofessional and unethical. I still have not gotten my mail and no one has called me even though I have requested a follow up multiple times.

So on the front end, this company's prices are a bit high and if you skim through their terms and conditions, you'll find that it is very challenging to cancel service with them. They require a 30-day notice to cancel service, so be aware of that if you do go with them. First off they aren't a VOIP provider, the "service" is provided through some agreement with Phone.com. They are basically a middleman between you and Phone.com. Second, they sold me on having a 411 listed business. Thankfully I listed myself with ListYourself, Google, Bing, etc. so the number did appear on 411, but they didn't do that.

When I called them to ask if it was listed, the agent basically did what I'd already done and submitted the number to listyourself. When I figured out what was going on, combined with the high fees they charge per number, I ported the number over to Grasshopper. They offer a similar service for less, especially annually. Their customer service didn't give me much hassle though with shutting down, so I'd consider that part of the experience as a plus.

Customer service did not understand business or how things operate. Continuous attempts to work with them and they chose to play games and waste my time. Supposedly there was an outstanding bill for less than a 100.00 dollars was not aware of it. So instead of just saying there was an outstanding bill they chose to play dumb and continue to waste time and not provide services. They are weak, not educated in business on any level and the SOS IL needs to seriously look at there practices here in IL. Just resolved billing issues with this company and the BBB and now I just received a bill from them for services again. Alliance offers some of the cheapest rates on virtual offices, but beware they are cheap for a reason. Their approach to customer service is deplorable. If they communicate to you that they offer a 30-day termination option, don't take their word for it but read their terms and conditions carefully as they will stick you for an additional month (termination takes effect upon the last day of the month following the month in which notification was received).

Alliance seemed legitimate. So when I started a business, I decided to get a virtual office address from them. But I started another business and went into a different direction. I was trying to see if I could cancel the contract with Alliance and do it over under the new business name. But when I called to cancel, I found out that I was under a six-month contract. I should've read the print so it was my fault. But I didn't like the fact that I couldn't cancel when I wanted to. So I was stuck with this. Maybe they should offer a three month option. I'm sure they would get a lot more customers if it was once a month and they wouldn't have them locked in a contract. They probably would make it up by getting more people.

I have a business development manager in the Tucson area, Jonathan, and I wanted him to have an office address. Getting it set up with Alliance Virtual was pretty simple. I ordered online and went from there. We're a Canadian company so the process for mail is a little different there. You have to fill out a lot more paperwork in order to get your mail delivered and arranged for pick-up. But otherwise, it’s been a painless process. They're a little expensive against other virtual offices but I ended up going with them for proximity for Jonathan’s sake. It was about 25% more expensive than the alternative, so I would consider that a con. But generally speaking, it has worked fine for us. We use their mail service and I see the notifications, but we are digital so we don’t have a whole lot there. So other than having the convenience of the address, our experience has been very minimal.

It's a way to keep things more professional and it helped me out a lot. They were giving out live receptions, too, but I didn't jump to it quick enough. That may be the next route I go. I went to the office only few times but it's been a perfect experience and I liked it. Everybody was nice and welcoming. However, they're charging $75 a month so the cost could be a little bit better. Around $35 to $50 would also be good. I started a business and I needed to have a place to have meetings and to receive my mail. Alliance was more cost-effective and I signed up and paid the fees online, which wasn’t difficult. I also went and visited the office. I use them for receiving mail and I plan to hold any business meetings there as well. The office and the conference rooms are beautiful. Their office has a nice business atmosphere too.

I talked with Arturo from Alliance yesterday and the Alliance team has been really great. They’ve been really responsive and helpful. If there's an issue, they always resolve it immediately. But I have a consulting business so I get my check payments for my services mailed and I've had a problem every time I've had a check sent there. That’s not good when you're running a business. I don’t think it's an Alliance problem though. It's a Premier problem. There's some kind of partnership in my contract with Alliance and the office is a Premier Business Centers office and they are not as responsive as Alliance. So the quality of service hasn’t been good at all.

Alliance is doing what they are supposed to do and is expected to do at a high level, and they should continue. I'm happy with Alliance but when I have problems with the company that they are partnering with, it can be a reflection on Alliance negatively. I've actually been thinking about canceling because I'm not really happy with having to go to Premier. I'm thinking about just trying to lease my home address for my business. It seemed to be a lot easier. I would tell others not to use Alliance for mail service if they're going to need to pick it up from Premier Business Centers if that’s convenient.

We wanted to have an address in Texas as a central location in Dallas because that's where most of our work is, and a cost-effective answering service where we don't have to pay someone by the hour and just be a receptionist. We picked Alliance Virtual Offices in Dallas. The cost seemed to be the best option, in fact, the lowest cost option for what we are getting. Most of the set up was done online.

I saw Alliance's pricing on their website and then I filled out all the information. They have different options for what address they had available for a virtual office and I picked one. And then we put all our other general company information in there where we wanted our mail forwarded to when we receive mail and how we wanted them to answer the phone. We could type all that up exactly how we wanted them to refer our company. And once we paid for the account to start it, we were able to set everything up, and a lot of it up on our own online such as what extension to have, what person was going to take care of certain calls when they come in and who to forward those calls to when the answering service answered those, and things like that.

We get hundreds of calls every day for recruiting and general company information, accounts payable, accounts receivable. Alliance seem to do a good job of getting the calls to the right person when the calls come in. I had good experiences. We like both the cost and the quality. Since we started using Alliance, we were able to communicate with our customers and our vendors efficiently because we're able to take messages. If we can't get a call, they'll take the messages and they'll send us an email saying, "Someone called and you need to call them back," or "Someone called and here's the message." So, we won't have to go through and flip through voice messages on our phone. We can just look at our email. So, the system works out well for us.

He kept his presence in my email, so when I was ready, I went ahead and started with them. It was very easy and simple and it actually was a great experience.

I got mail forwarding and when I'm in town, I could pay an hourly rate to rent the office. I had to get a form notarized to do the mail forwarding. So I went to a bank, got it notarized and paid the fee for it. Then Alliance went over all the rules. I actually went there and they gave me a tour. They are very professional, informative and they gave me actual visual literacy. They gave me paperwork to trial with no pricing and their fee schedule. Their rep took me around even to the break room down to their gym in the basement of the building. She also showed me the parking and I get validated, and it's a 24-hour building as well. They let me know everything, and how it's convenient for me when I come in town.

Right now everything has gone good so far. It's really good and not expensive. I don't have to pay the maximum amount, just when I'm in town. It's convenient for me because when I'm in town I can actually have space available and reserve it beforehand. I'll refer my friends because that's a very nice area to run a business. The presence in the area and how many offices they have available to get is better for business.

Keeping an office seems like an unnecessary overhead, so I thought of getting a virtual office. Alliance Virtual’s Hollywood office is aesthetically the best office that I was looking for. I contacted Alliance Virtual through their website and their amazing rep Daniella called me back. Then, I just filled out an application. However, I have a problem with the integrated office which actually runs the facility.

I’m paying extra to have my mail forwarded to me. Thus far, they said they have never received one of the mails that went to the address. I have yet to receive that. They sent me another one which, apparently, was returned to them because they put the wrong address for the forwarding address. They also told me that I received another piece of mail that they were going to send to me. And that was over a week and a half ago. I'm yet to receive that. And there’s another piece of mail that they have alerted me that I received and haven’t seen it. The only piece of mail that I did receive was postmarked January 2nd which I got yesterday.

Also, considering what I’m actually getting, the cost is higher than what it should be. The space is beautiful but the service is definitely lacking. I would like to believe that since I am having meetings, I would have more of a personal service like a setup of beverages. But it did not happen. The kitchen definitely needs to be better stocked too. I could not even find any napkins.

The contractor that I'm involved with required that we have backup live voices on our telephone respondents. Alliance Virtual Offices' website have some instructions online which I followed. I answered the questions and applied. The cost was very reasonable and the quality of the service has been good. We check the service every day to make sure the continuity is there. They've been professional and have done what we asked them to do. We respond to their messages that they email to us immediately. Their service tightened up our business a little bit and enhanced our phone calling opportunities like the receiving of calls. We have an in-house call center and they've expanded that which was good for our business. I'm satisfied with them. I'd tell my friends to try them out.

So far, my experience with Alliance has been really good, they've been very dependent. If something goes wrong, I just call them and they help me take care of it. We decided to get a virtual office because it's more cost-efficient right now for us. And since Alliance has a virtual office in the building that I was interested in, I decided to obtain it through them. Signing up was very, very easy. You just go online, choose your product, enter your payment information and they send you an email immediately. You can also give them a call. They actually call you once you do that.

They're all very nice and very interested in delivering good customer service. Not everything always goes smoothly, but it's great that they take care of it quickly. With the other virtual offices, some of them are more expensive and I don't know if they give you the attention that Alliance gives you. Instead of using the online feature, I often call and they're very good about answering my questions. And they know me by name.

My business is small, but in the future I plan on branching out and trying to get more market share and I didn’t want my home address to be attached to my business when I start soliciting customers or people that I don’t really know. I then felt a virtual office was more professional than using my home office. I have some other friends that use Alliance and I checked out a lot of Alliance’s competition and I thought Alliance was the best option available to me with my needs. And the cost is reasonable.

Setting up with them was very simple. I contacted them through their website and I requested them to call me. And the same person I was communicating with called me and 20-30 minutes later, I was set up. Within 48 hours, they had me taken care of. I had four-in-one number for me, an 800 number, and a live receptionist. I've gotten in contact with him and explained to him our business and spoke with the office manager. And then the primary contact who opened my account was still emailing me and calling me once in a while, asking for feedback.

I'm impressed that I only had one go-to person to deal with. That really made me feel good because I don’t like getting bounced around from person to person and get some information from different employees. And my contact person makes it very easy for me to get what I need to get done and know what's going on. I really value and appreciate that because I travel all over the country for my job and I don’t always have time to communicate with everybody in the day that I need to. I just sent her an email this morning, and she responded back quickly. My experience with Alliance has been positive and I'm really happy with them. I've spoken to two friends already about them.

The price is affordable and comparable to everyone else, but it could be cheaper. There are some other outfits that are slightly cheaper which is important given a very limited use. That aside, setting up was very easy and I've been pleased with the service. I've also dealt with the receptionist and the office manager in the new office and the experience has been positive as well.

I needed the Westchester address and Alliance Virtual was the cheapest. However, the set-up process with them wasn’t the greatest. It was a little annoying. It was unclear which was very frustrating because this particular office is shared by several people. So, I have called the office directly about some items and they didn’t know what I was talking about. They were so confused.

There were too many contacts. I had to go through the notary process and sign a bunch of papers. We did a web conference with the notary to sign things. They also required me to do mail forwarding. I didn’t realize that there were forms I needed to sign for mail forwarding or anything. They made me go through that process before I can finally pay for it which was unnecessary. I didn’t want mail forwarding because I was not expecting any mail.

I have yet to receive an email from the mail forwarding, which I don’t know if it's because I'm simply not getting mail or because it's not getting forwarded. I didn’t get any mail but I called once or twice and said they didn’t see any mail, but they also had no idea on how to find it. It's to the point where I don’t trust the address and I tell people to mail things to my house. I switched my former address like I advertised with that address and then all government entities have that address for registration, but I don’t trust the mail system. I just use the address to advertise and I don’t want to go through the process again, which is the reason I'm not switching. I have one address and I don’t want to move.

I pay $600 a year for an address for a different business and it's owned by a small CPA firm and it's one office. It's not one of these big chains and they're outstanding. They call me whenever mail comes in and tell me to come take care of it. They're very communicative with me. That’s the same cost roughly monthly, but I didn’t want the same address for both businesses for a few reasons, so I had to get a different one. However, Alliance is overcharging for what they offer. $60 a month is overpriced because I'm not using their phone service. I'm not using anything. The average price I saw in New Jersey was about $35 for the same service.

I was looking for a specific area and the price was right and it made sense. I filled out the application, gave them my credit card info and there had to be a notarization to verify my identity. The notary was done via the internet on a webcam. Everything was virtual, which I liked about Alliance. The whole process took 20 to 30 minutes from start to finish. It was convenient and the website was good too. That usually helps when the websites are easy to navigate. I’ve gone to the office where we have the mailbox and the people were very friendly and helpful. Without Alliance, I wouldn’t be able to do business. For companies starting out, it's reasonable. And for what needs to be done, it’s got to get done, so it’s not bad.

I travel internationally about three weeks out of every month and I'm not around to answer my phone. Our organization is not at capacity yet where I can hire a staff member to sit here at the desk and I don’t have enough work for them to do, so I was looking for someone that could answer the phones, be a representative of the organization, be professional and connect calls to me, and if they couldn’t connect calls to me to send me an email so that I can connect as soon as it was foreseeable.

I have the reception service and an address from Alliance Virtual Offices. The set-up process was very easy, however, I nearly became irate because they were sending all my mail back to sender including thousands of dollars of donation because I run a non-profit. The only reason I even found out about it was because one person said, “Why did I get return to sender on that mailing address you’ve given me that’s on your business card?” So when I realized that Alliance Virtual Offices were returning to sender all of my mail, I called.

I'm in the business where when things aren't happening correctly I want it fixed immediately and when the person I spoke to who was the manager said, “I will try and take care of this tomorrow.”, I said, “That’s not going to be an appropriate response. This is my business. This is money that is not coming in to my organization. I can't pay my bills every month if you keep returning to sender. You have about 30 minutes to figure out what the problem is or if they want I'm totally fine then I'm going to cancel all my services because I need something reliable.” And I could tell that the person I was talking to was very young and had no idea of how to handle anything that I said. He was doing the best he could do, but also at that same he didn’t know how to do problem resolution for high level executives.

I got a phone call back two days later, which was ridiculous to me and they just said that they were going to refund half of my charges for that particular month because they didn't know what happened except for the fact that someone who was in charge of taking notes and putting whose address was at that building didn’t do it and so there was no way to say how long. The mail was getting returned to sender. I don’t know how much money I will lose a month because donors are going to continue resending checks to an organization or an address that’s saying return to sender and it would look like I am a fraud. And so my moral dilemma now is do I stay with this company even though I changed all my business cards over to it or do I cancel it and just hire a staff so that I have someone that can do the job that I need to be done and trust that it can be done in a professional way.

I have yet to get an email. They said they’ve been forwarding it and so I'm ready to drive over there and strangle someone because I was out of the country for three weeks. I know people have been sending checks for donations and I have yet to get any piece of mail from them. And I continue getting this email from Alliance Virtual Offices that says once I get the piece of mail that they forwarded it on, click on the link to say that I’ve received it. And every time I get that email it makes me so angry because I've yet to get any document from them. If I could get out of it now and never have done it I absolutely would have because I could have found someone else to answer the phone.

I really like to have a home office so that's where I work and spend most of the time when I'm not on site on the street. But sometimes I need to schedule a meeting or something more formal then it's always good to invite my customers to have a nice place to get together and discuss some progress. Getting set up with Alliance Virtual Offices was very easy and fast, but after a couple of months I decided to change the package a little bit to add a second company, and someone answering the phone. This process, however, was a little bit confusing.

They provided me a paper with all the options that they have but they were different from what I've been using with Alliance. It would be more expensive than what I would be paying directly to the office here at Orlando if I had started with them since the beginning. It's not a big difference, around $10, but I was expecting to pay exactly the same price that they presented to me over at the office. Otherwise, it wouldn't make sense to have the service.

When I asked Daniela, we agreed on $154 for the entire fee. One company owns the address and the second company has an address plus answering phone, lobby list and telephone number. But until now, I don’t have my company name down the lobby list just because of $10. I tried to contact Daniela a couple of times and she wasn’t returning my calls, but then my office manager contacted her and they discussed this issue. I was misunderstood but I don’t know if it was by my side or by Daniela’s side. But in the end I have the sensation of paying more for the same service. I would tell others to take care with the price and to check first with the office itself so as not to be paying more. That aside, Daniela is very kind and I like the service. We've even started a different approach where we're definitely going to be using more of the office itself.

I'm a painting contractor and here in Connecticut, I live in a rural part of the state. Where I'm trying to attract business from is more densely populated and more suburban, so a lot of the potential customers that I spoke with would ask where I was calling from and my address was too far for them even though they weren't the ones doing the driving. I thought a quick fix would be to get a virtual office with an address as far south as I could afford. I decided to go with Alliance Virtual Offices because they were high up on the Google search and their price seemed reasonable.

A representative walked me through the set-up and as soon as I provided them with the documentation that was necessary, I had an account set up and I was able to use the virtual office. Now I’m licensed to the address so I can use that on my business cards. They're also accepting mail there from people who happened to mail things there for me, though I try to avert that. They're also holding my mail and I would be notified when I get mail. Plus, if I need conference rooms, that's also available a la carte.

So far, they're doing a great job of holding my mail and 33% of the time, they notified me when I got mail. The other 66%, they did not. The initial time where I got a letter sent to me, I was only notified by email once. The second and third times that I had letters sent to me, I was not notified. After not receiving them and wondering where these documents were, I finally called up Alliance's office to verify that I indeed had something delivered. Then, I went to go pick them up. There should be better communication when the post office delivers anything for me and Alliance should let me know when I actually get a letter delivered. Other than that, people are more receptive to the closer proximity of my virtual office than where I actually live, so that's a positive.

Their reps were able to answer any question I had and told me about anything that I had to be informed of like if I've got mails or any calls.

All in all, Alliance provides the best customer service at a great cost and so far, everything is smooth. They helped me dramatically by letting me have access to other things as far as doing business credit and trade alliance and I hope they continue to help businesses. They understand what's the purpose of the virtual office as well as the complexities in regard to businesses and business credit. Other businesses don't really understand that. I'm in the process of starting my own law firm and Alliance Virtual Offices was a good transition point. I didn't have to necessarily pay the rent for a full office until I built up my customer base. At the same time I got to have the opportunity to have an office, which I need, based on the bar rules. I went with Alliance because it seemed that it was the quickest way to do it online. The other virtual office systems didn't seem like an online program. It seems a little bit silly and unnecessary to have to go to notary, call someone, schedule an appointment then figure out what they're offering me. I didn't have the time and effort to do that. Alliance just offers their rate and if you want to signup then you can go for it. The cost is right on par with what other people were offering but the benefit of me not having to deal with calling people and scheduling appointments made them much more attractive.

The coolest part with them was there was an online notary process too. I have a webcam and I talked to the notary via that. She confirmed my signature, then had me upload a couple of documents for my identity. That was it. Someone called me at some point to confirm and make sure everything was okay. Then I just put in my credit card information. I get how much it was going to cost and it was upfront. I had a little portal page that told me everything I needed. I had an expectation that the setup would be done within a day, though, and it ended up taking three days, which isn't that bad. It is still simple but if there's a way to speed up the process where you can put the information and figuring how to get it done within 24 hours that would be even better. But I know that sometimes it's not possible. So it would be nice for them to kind of give you an estimate to say how long it'll take. Just say how many hours.

I found the Alliance team to be responsive in giving me back whatever feedback information I needed. I have to have an office base and without it I wouldn't have a business. Beyond that I also find that just being able to put down that it's on Wilshire Avenue has been really beneficial. It looks legitimate. Alliance allowed me to have a business and that's the best benefit of all. Definitely check out and go with Alliance. They’re straight and easy.

We’re mostly in Philadelphia and 45 minutes north of Allentown and we wanted to get some more business further north as people would think we have an office in that area. So we decided to get a virtual office and we chose Alliance because of their cost. We mostly use their phone service and setting up our account was easy. There was some confusion at first but we've already gotten all the wrinkles ironed out. So far, it's doing its purpose.

My friend had worked with Alliance Virtual Offices before and she recommended them to me. I'm in the process of building my business and I needed the California address and exactly what Alliance Virtual Offices was offering. It's great to have because it's on my website. Their service is awesome and I like it. They are very fast and very professional. Setting up the process with them was easy, too. I just had to notarize one document and email it to them. The next day, they got it done. They're answering their phone every time you call. The only concern I have is I am not receiving any mail for over three months since I've been working with them. Also, the cost could be a little bit less though it's reasonable for the services they provide. Other than that, everything is great.

I have a solo law practice and I typically will work from home but I don’t want to post my home address to the public. And so it’s either PO Box or virtual office and a virtual office is helpful for those clients who, when they look you up, they want to see your address and if you have an office address, it just may be helpful for them. And that made me sign up with Alliance Virtual Offices considering also their location and cost. Compared to other options, they were slightly cheaper than a few others. I use AVO for their mail forwarding service so if someone looks me up, they’ll find that address for my law practice and that’s where the mail will be delivered, and I can go collect it from them. However, I think the virtual office services are overpriced but that’s not AVO in particular. I don’t have anything negative to say about them in particular and I’ve not had a negative experience with them.

    Hello G,

Thank you very much for your review! We appreciate your feedback.

Regarding pricing: it's not the first time one of our clients mentions that they think it might be a bit overpriced. But part of why a lot of people think our service is expensive is because of PO Boxes and similar services, where you get charged a relatively small fee per month or year, but we aren't really like a PO Box because we go beyond the mail service. We lend a very professional and exclusive business address and a place from where you can actually do business from, which is something invaluable for many businesses because, as you know, it's all about location, location, location. As the months pass by you'll come to realize that this address is an asset for your business!

Also, the cost is good. I was going with Regus but then one of the representatives gave me a couple of promotions. I just felt more comfortable with them so I never went with Regus. Everybody’s been awesome and I haven’t talked to one rude person. Every phone call I've ever made has been very positive and a live person actually took care of everything I needed. We needed a presence in the United States in any form, so we opened the company. However, we are not there full-time so we needed some place where we can receive our mail, and eventually, have a place to hold meetings or even a daily office if necessary. When I was opening the whole account with Alliance Virtual Offices, I asked for some things from a team member and he was very nice in explaining to me how everything works and how to open the account. He also told me that if I had some sort of a problem opening the account online, he could call and guide me on how to do it.

The setup process was pretty straightforward. It involved reading the account and collecting the place where we wanted to have the office. The price is very good as well. I have only been using the basic service, which is to have the address in the United States, and I’m comfortable with that at this time. It has made everything easier and I have recommended Alliance Virtual Offices to a couple of friends.

I needed a commercial address for shipping so I signed up with Alliance Virtual Offices. They have a notary online and then I received an email saying I’m all set up and ready to go. Two weeks later, I went out to the location because I suspected that I wasn’t getting any mail or package there. They said that they don’t even know me and never got the paperwork and yet I continued to be charged with the amount. I didn’t receive any service because somehow there was a glitch in the whole thing and they already charged me for four months.

For the longest time I tried to resolved it. I was dealing with this person but then I decided to dispute it with my credit card company. They said that I have to officially contact Alliance Virtual Offices. I contacted them and immediately came back but the person wasn’t there any longer and gave me a number to call. So I called the number and the person that I dealt with has been very professional about rectifying the problem that I had which at this point was just getting my money back.

I didn’t like the fact that they were taking my money when the thing wasn’t really set up. I have people that wants to ship to a commercial location because they’re freight companies. That’s why I needed that. It's an embarrassment because I have the address out. The guy that I dealt with wanted me to give them a fair chance if I needed their service again because that was not how they do things there. I’m trying to ascertain whether I got my money back. I started working on that and I know that sometimes credits may take a minute. But I’m going to get my money back no matter what.

I needed to have an address that wasn’t in my apartment, a business location, so that I'll have access to other resources within the complex. I did some cost comparison and based on what Alliance Virtual offered and the location of the businesses, it added a little bit more credibility and as cost-effective as I could afford. Pricing was a big issue and location was a big issue. I worked with a representative from the company who helped me set-up. They gave me some details about the program. And what I appreciated when I had named another company I was considering, she emailed me back to let me know how to compare apples to apples. And I like that sort of thing because sometimes you don’t remember everything on the phone so, it was nice that she took the time to go and do my cost comparison and say, “Here, they’re charging us.” to “This is what you’re not getting and this is how much the additional services would cost you.”

It’s been several months beyond my start with them, but I got into a car accident so things have been delayed in terms of my business. I’m working on that right now. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to do some virtual office training like, conferences, Skype training, or whatever I may need down the road. In case I need to have a conference room, I have that available to me too and maybe an office for the day where I can rent a facility on an hourly basis. I pay $75 a month, I wish I could’ve gotten that down to $50 as I am getting started and then, increase as my business grew.

We started a company and my partner lives at one end of the city and I live at the other. Most of our work could be done independently but occasionally we had to get together so, the Alliance Virtual office that we chose gave us an address for mail and a meeting point equidistant for both of us. It saved a lot of time. I started setting up the Denver facility with the Telefact in Toronto. The lady who I dealt with was very good. She walked me through all the paperwork because there were differences with the US and the Canadian processes. We started it and once she realized I was from Canada, she cut it back because of the certain things I didn’t have to comply with that the Americans had to. That worked out all right and we went through.

Once we had finalized all the paperwork, I got switched over the actual building and the people that run the office in Denver. I have a colleague who lives there and does work for me so that’s why it was picked as the second location. When I go down to see him which will probably take place in the next six weeks then we have a meeting place and use the meeting rooms. At the moment, we’re just using their mail forwarding service there. We’ve had it for two months and we’re still settling down. So far, the Alliance team there has been very polite and they answer the questions that I have. It’s been excellent, very similar to my experience with the people that run the Toronto facility.

In the Toronto office, which the Alliance team set up, we use the meeting rooms a couple of times a month and we had the mail forwarding service. Six months in, I also rented an office for myself. The three ladies who are running it there are fantastic. They just bend over backwards to try and make the stay very comfortable. They’ve been very accommodating as far as making sure the office is clean and set-up how I would like it to be. That’s significant because in the previous office that I had, I bought all the furniture. With Alliance, that cost is built-in to the rental. Furniture requests and getting the meeting room have been great. Courier dropping stuff when I was dealing virtual wasn’t done in a timely manner but now I have the office there so they just deliver it to the office. The hardwired internet is very good but the wireless, not so much, especially in the interior meeting rooms.

The location of the Toronto office has a positive impact to my business, in the sense that when people see the address that is familiar with Toronto, they assume that we’re very well-established, probably better established than we currently are. It gives some credibility when you’re sitting, talking to people. To the outside world, they’re not looking at the virtual offices. They’re looking that you have an office that they can send mail to. And now I have a US location, having the two offices gives even more credibility.

Their service is very good. The cost is on the high-end. It may become an issue if I decide to expand and want a bigger space as there are other offices that would be more economical. Right now, the big advantage for the Alliance office is that I’m not in it long term, so if things aren’t working out then we both walk away without any major issues. If I’m expanding, then I’m probably looking for a three to five-year term and then I will have to come up with more competitive pricing for the office.

I talked to some of the other tenants; the person in the office next to me has been there for 10 years. So, at that stage that’s high recommendation for something that’s originally started set-up for temporary and specific needs. So when you have long-term tenants, that means they’re being looked after. And I would recommend Alliance too. With the Wi-fi as the exception, I am totally satisfied with how things are with our Denver and Toronto offices. I’m looking forward to setting up meetings at their other offices worldwide.

The woman on the phone was super nice and made a follow-up but it seemed like she was from some other country so there were a couple of times where I didn’t understand her very well. It's good to know that the virtual office is serving its purpose for you and we hope we can help your business grow. Be sure to add your virtual office address on your business cards, website, email signature and all marketing material to ensure that your clients know where you are located.

Regarding pricing: though it seems a large amount of money, it is definitely worth it. USPS Stores and others might offer a much lower pricing, but these act only as mailboxes. I have four companies and I was trying to get all four at the same location but Alliance Virtual Offices could handle only two. I still have two somewhere else. If I knew that ahead of time, I would have been better off doing a little bit more homework instead of being offered to do business with them. They said they’d take care of it and made sure I could do it with one company but I had to split them up into three different locations. They said they couldn’t do it because they don’t have many locations and they kept trying to get me to buy a whole office. I don’t want a whole office, only the actual office address. And still, we’re offered with the other stuff. I ended up going somewhere else and now I have to service all four companies at the same location. I’ve kept it going so now I have my business being paid for in two different places.

The gentleman I worked with was good and he tried to do his part but the company over at Gold River was the one that didn’t have it together. I never even had that one document sent over to that place. I left it there and when I spoke to the one in Gold River over the phone, it was like, “Who are you? Oh, that’s who you’re with?” It wasn’t very comfortable and if this is how my business is now, it’s not going to be good later on.

If other businesses are experiencing what I am experiencing, they are not getting much clientele that way. There were other advertisements for this same type of service with better process and the actual people called in to say, “Hey, your mail is here and this is the time it got here.” If it’s important, they send us emails to let us know that it’s ready. Alliance isn’t interested in doing any of those things. I understood and I stayed out of their office. I did the paperwork over the phone and emailed everything. That’s the reason why I was going to do business with them. I’d like to get out of this contract and sever ties with the whole business but I am under duress because of the situation and I have no choice. I will be canceling it by October. It didn’t work for me and I haven’t recommended it to anyone.

We decided to get Alliance virtual office for the location so we would have an address. Their locations were the best. Going through the process with them was pretty straightforward. Their reps were easy to get a hold of. The representatives in their Chicago office we've spoken to were very friendly as well. We, however, got a Toronto office, which was a little bit different because it wasn't a local one. But when I called them, the agent was able to help connect me with somebody pretty easily. We filled out the forms and then he called back. We got transferred to a Chicago address but we still got a Toronto address as well and we had a different rep call us and that went pretty smooth too.

The cost is good. The one thing is we called the Chicago office because we knew that we had a postcard there. It doesn't need to be opened, it just needed to be flipped over to get the number on the back of the postcard and Alliance charged us $20 for that. That's the only surprise fee where we did not expect or see it coming and we did not understand why. But because we needed the information, we paid for it. The weirdest part was that the same postcard was at our other locations, the one in Minneapolis and the one in Toronto and we didn't have that issue or that charge. So it was not consistent.

The cost was reasonable and the setup was easy. It was just trying to find the right one and I only use it for the address. My experiences with their team have all been positive. They're informative, polite and professional. The quality is good as well. I've been there a couple of times to pick up my mail. It's been a very pleasant experience.

Initially, I heard about Alliance Virtual Offices from their customer. Then, Credit Suite decided not to go with Regus any longer and that's how I heard about Alliance for the second time. What made me pull the trigger was that I needed a business address and Regus made that decision real easy. I've now been with Alliance more than three months and I'm happy so far. The setup process was simple. A lady talked me through the computer process and made it real simple and easy. Also, I've been getting e-mails about a conference room and that will definitely come in handy at the location. It's all smiles from here on, all rainbows from the beginning to here.

I travel to New York immensely and as a life coach, I wanted to have a headquarters located there so I got Alliance Virtual Office. If I want to have a meeting or a client there, I would be able to use it like that. I stumbled across them on Google and I found the most affordable office that looked really chic and classy so I selected it. Their rep and I corresponded back and forth and he was very helpful. It was a very smooth process. However, I assumed to pay at the end of the month, but apparently, I'm supposed to pay at the front of the month. Their reps were really calm and very professional. Any questions that I had as far as what I needed to do to get mail or have a conference room, they were great. I do plan on getting a receptionist because I'm getting ready to speak in front of 26,000 women. So, I'm anticipating a lot of phone calls. Overall, they were reliable, comfortable, and easy to set up.

We needed another office without the expense of buying or leasing another location. The setup process with Alliance Virtual was pretty easy. We used an online form, gave out some information, and went ahead and got started. And then we received another email with a couple of other steps. As soon as we were done with the online process, they had a representative reach out to us. And then they helped take care of everything from there. They made it really easy.

The only thing I would have wanted was a quicker response time from the agent. Everything was great once I got started and the system was good to go, but then I had a few questions and it took a little bit longer to hear back from them. But from what I can see and from doing a comparison of the price and the services that are provided, Alliance Virtual was a pretty good deal that's why we went with them. They're not super expensive. They provide a package that makes sense for what I get as far as the live receptionist, the virtual office, the mail forwarding, and the various different aspects go.

The service I have with Alliance is just an address and the setup went pretty smoothly. I just signed up online and called, then got the account set up. That was worked in a day or two. It was good until I tried to cancel. I called three weeks after I signed up and they wouldn't let me out of my contract and didn’t want to refund me. I didn’t want their services anymore and they said I have to be locked in a six-month contract. I was taken off guard.

I explained to them that I wasn't going to be able to use their services because it’s not mappable on Google. Google has actual employees they call who map out street addresses and do confirmation for businesses. They’d see if the business is a physical business one can walk into. And because this is just a mailbox, it's not an actual physical office. This is a suite and there's 200 plus companies all in the suite. So Google refers to these virtual offices as not real businesses or storefronts. And this is something I learned after I signed up. My whole point of getting a business address is that it would show up on Google for Google results and for Google reviews. If I couldn't do that, it was of no benefit to me.

Some people do this because they want to get mails sent there and they want to check them up, and that makes sense if they don't want their mails sent to their home address. But I'm a service-area business so I have my home address now as my Google Map address. But I don't have to have it displayed and I can get all the reviews and result on Google Maps when people are searching for my type of business model.

I tried talking to a man named Alfonso for several minutes and I was just butting heads with him and not getting anywhere. I told them I wasn’t going to pay the six months, I’m not going to use the service that’s not beneficial and I'm not going to send mail there. I can’t even use the address. They can just take me off but they didn’t want to.

They just wanted the money but I'm not going to pay it because it's ludicrous that just because there's a contract, they can't remove someone. Given the fact that it's a suite number, what is it costing their business from a daily operational cost? I'm not going to use it then therefore I'm not costing them money. So cancelling isn't going to impact their bottom line at all. I tried to explain that to them in that conversation. But I guess as a customer I was wrong and they were right. I asked to speak to their CEO and they didn't want me to talk to anybody else. They seemed to me as one of those money-grab companies that didn't give a crap what a customer was saying or they couldn't apply logic to the situation. That was unfortunate.

Alliance then sent me the paperwork and I filled it out. I mistyped my email address but they were able to rectify that in the process. So it took a couple of days longer than normal but it was fine. We were live within a couple of days. We're just utilizing mail delivery right now. Alliance's team has been fantastic and what I liked about it is they email if we have a new package. I checked a few virtual reception and Alliance was close to where we're going to be working. However, there were a lot of issues during our setup process with them and it was not fun. It took a long time but it finally got figured out. The cost and the quality of the service have been fine too. A positive effect working with Alliance is that it's good as an address for our company and the location that we're working, which is what we need. The negative part was when someone tried to talk to us, the people in the office didn't even know we existed, which made our customers really sketched out. We lost a couple of deals because of that.

I wanted to have a local office where I could receive mail. So I signed up originally through another vendor that I have a business credit building profile with and they suggested Alliance Virtual Offices amongst a couple of other choices. Alliance has a pretty big network of offices, including in Massachusetts and in Florida. Also, their price was good and it wasn't really location- or state-dependent, that I needed the actual address. They have good customer service as well. So, overall, they seem pretty good. The setup was simple, too. I'd put in the information and it was straightforward. I filled out a form, their person contacted me and collected the final information. Then, I had to get something notarized and it was awesome that they had a virtual notary service.

Their team was super friendly and has super quick responsiveness. Email a question and get a personal email directly back. I also got a couple of follow-up phone calls to finalize my paperwork and to make sure that everything was set up properly. Also, the cost and quality were very competitive for the office location and what it provides, like the mail. It's a strong service for the price from what I researched and I got what I paid for. It was a good experience overall and I'll keep using them consistently.

And if I wanted to rent an office, they have it available. If I wanted a phone number, they have that as well. But there was some difficulty with the phone part. It didn’t seem to meet what I wanted, so I ended up canceling that. But I kept the mailing part of the virtual office package, and it worked well. The instructions were clear, too. I'm expanding and when I'm bidding on these things, every city required to have an office or a virtual office in that particular city because I'll wind up paying taxes there anyway. Instead of opening up a regular office, I decided to go with a virtual one because I don’t have to be there every day, but when I need to have meetings and meeting with my customers, I have a place to meet with them. They'd provide everything that I need as far as doing the phone service and people, start mail and stuff.

I went with Alliance Virtual Offices and they made the setup process very simple. They told me what they would do and they gave me different options. I'm having one number for all three offices that I opened up where people had called. When I went to visit, I met the two young ladies working in the front. I met the general manager, the process and where the mail would go and everything and then they showed me the whole place after I signed up. It wasn’t complicated at all.

The people at Alliance Virtual Offices were very friendly. The young lady at the front desk walked me through. She showed me both places with smaller room to have a meeting and a bigger room. She showed me where people can get coffee. She showed me where the restroom area was. She took me around to show me where my mail would go. The check is now there. I can put anything on how to answer the phone and things of that nature. They showed me how that employee was worth. The quality and the cost of the service can't be beaten. I was expecting it to be more, but I was surprised that it was so cheap. I should have gotten it 10 years ago, but I didn’t know then. I'm all new at this.

The different locations that they provided for me and the quality of bringing customers there, be it downtown L.A. or even to Long Beach, were excellent. I plan on going to Chicago sometime soon to see that one up there, but the quality and the space that they make available to everybody is very nice. I couldn’t ask for a better office. I've already recommended them to several people already. I appreciate what they're doing. They were very professional.

My wife is the principal owner but she's not a day-to-day participant in the business activity of the company so I'm the one who interacted with Alliance. The first glitch was we had to redirect our mail forwarding because they had the wrong suite number. It impacts and authorize USPS, C-forms and the like and so on. But they were very responsive in any case. Thankfully, we didn't use the virtual office address in any of our legal description. Otherwise, that would have been another expense and inconvenience as you could imagine.

The other thing that I did come to learn in my experience was that there is no day-to-day access to mail. You have to do it by appointment with, shall we say, the consignee or the agent in the local market, which is really not the way virtual offices should and usually do run. Specifically, there's a front end operator and a desk receptionist and all you gotta do is ask these and just stockpile the mail. Also, there's no access to any meeting space or an office space in the particular location that I rent it, which is misleading if you follow the advertising on the website. They don't disclose when you click on the location to be aware that there are no extended services in the way of office space or meeting rooms. But it's been good other than these.

Can we work on the Google matter separately? Have you had any news on that? If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our Service and Support Team (949-313-3409 or juan@alliancevirtualoffices.com).

We looked into a virtual office as we wanted a good location for us to meet as a company when we're together. Setup process with Alliance was easy. However it's a little harder to park in there and there's so much cost going on. We have to pay for time for parking and it wasn't convenient as I thought it was. My other complaint is calling 24 hours in advance, which I get, however sometimes we need to gather quick at the last minute. But that's our only hiccup.

Thank you for your review and feedback, Jeff!

To clarify: parking is usually handled by the building itself, so the business center doesn't have much control over the amount of parking available or the price related to it, but I certainly understand where you are coming from. Also, regarding the time to book a room, we can book something with a few hours notice but we won't always find something for you (which is why we like to have a business day or two in advance).

But please, if you ever need a room (even if it's on short notice), or if you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our Service and Support Team (949-313-3409 or juan@alliancevirtualoffices.com).

    Thanks!

I do a lot of IT consultant work and going after contracts in the Federal space. There's no need for me to meet up with clients in the office but at the same time, I might eventually need to. For now, it's pretty much going after RPs, waiting around, see if I could win the work and once I do, I hire employees to do it. There's no need for me to have an office space but I needed to have some type of presence without really having much of a physical presence. Everything is great so far with Alliance Virtual and the cost is definitely reasonable. The limited interactions of checking mails and a few other things have been really good. I'm highly satisfied and I'm looking into getting to lease a part-time reservation per day for my assistant because I want her to, at least, spend three or four hours where she could dedicate and have some time or place to do work.

I needed a permanent business address, but I also move around and do business all over New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and potentially in Washington D.C. come spring. So in the event that I may need to set up an office location in one of those locations, I wanted to work with a flexible office situation that would allow me to explore those options if I needed to go ahead and set something like that up. I've spoken a number of times to Iris from Alliance and she's been very helpful. The staff at the Melville office location has been wonderful as well. The price point and the quality of the service every time that I've contacted them are perfect for me. Iris has followed through right away and I've received an email confirming the information on the next appointment. It's been very good and I have recommended it already to two of my clients.

I have a start-up business and I got Alliance to help me build my business credit. I don't have money and an office base and I don't want to give my home address on my business stuff, so I went that route. I was looking around on the site and decided to get on the feature. The young lady who assisted me, walked me through everything. It was a very simple easy process even though it was through chat, and I liked it. It's a fair price too.

I'd recommend Alliance. I got them for my business because they report to the credit business bureaus. I had a great experience talking to them. They're very nice and responsive.
