What is Alliance Virtual Offices?

Alliance Virtual Offices give entrepreneurs, remote workers and independent contractors a physical place to work. For a monthly fee you get access to meeting and private spaces, a physical office with an address, mail receiving and a lobby with a receptionist. This can help protect your home address and provide a safe place to take business meetings and calls.

In addition to a physical location, there are financial benefits to a virtual office. Lenders tend to look more positively at businesses with a commercially recognized address and phone number. This can help with building credit. Alliance Virtual Offices also has month-to-month pricing, which won’t lock you into a long-term lease like a traditional business office.

How does Alliance Virtual Offices work?

When you’re ready to look for a virtual office space, search for your desired location online. Look over the list of available offices in your area. Once you’ve chosen a location, select an Alliance Virtual Offices plan: Platinum or Platinum Plus.

Once you’ve chosen a plan, you can opt for add-on mail forwarding to an address of your choice or use Alliance’s free on-site pickup. Next, enter your personal information and payment. Alliance Virtual Offices then sends a commercial mail receiving agency (CMRA) form to your provided email address, which legally allows it to receive mail for you.

Finally, Alliance Virtual Offices executes an online notary process, which is included in the cost. To complete this step, you need a computer or cellphone camera, a stable internet connection, two forms of identification and the completed CMRA form. The form is then signed and verified during the virtual notary meeting. Once the online notary process is complete, your virtual office should be ready for you in 12 to 24 hours.

    I’ve been with Alliance for just a couple of weeks. I found them on Google, and then I saw that they had a virtual address that was very close to my house. Not even one mile. I was like, "Okay." Then, I had to find somebody very quickly because I'm a wholesaler on Amazon, and the people who I have virtual addresses and a virtual phone number through told me they didn't accept deliveries.

    My experience with their reps has been fair. Some of them are bilingual a little bit. It's hard to understand what they're saying sometimes. Other than that, they're very professional and generous. I was trying to get a phone number transferred from the previous people with iPostal. But they couldn't help me with that because it was a bundle package. So once I got the address removed, they removed the phone number. Now, I gotta contact the account manager at Alliance and see if they can get me a virtual phone number as well.

    I like that they let me accept shipments there. If I wanted to do a meeting there at the location that they gave me, they were willing to help me with that. I have some wholesaling accounts, and if I have a decent amount of products to be shipped, by me living close to the address, I call them and let them know ahead of time, and then, as long as I pick it up the same day, they have no problem. They're really good because they also have a live receptionist at the address that is connected with the account. So that's a huge plus as well. They're excellent with calls and everything like that, with help and guidance. They're very precious about what they do.

      I had a business previously that I needed a business address and office space to use. So I used Alliance two years ago. I recently started another business. So I felt it was appropriate to go back with Alliance. The process is seamless, and the spaces are clean. It's usually buildings. It's not a PO box or a place in a plaza that does UPS, FedEx, and everything in one. When you Google the addresses from Alliance, it comes up as a professional business so it authenticates your business presence.

      One of the challenges I've had in the last business was trying to find the right person to close that service down whenever it was time for me to stop that service. They have branch managers, and then they have the 800 number, and then it was navigating that to see what was the right channel. But eventually, I got it together and they got it closed down. Alliance is a good place to start for a business address. However, it depends sometimes on what city and state you're using Alliance. Another challenge that I have endured is that sometimes the bank cannot verify the address. It doesn't come back verifiable. So it might not work for banking purposes. But other than that, it's solid. Go ahead and look into it. I'm satisfied with it thus far.

      Alliance Virtual Offices set up an appointment and gave me a call. A representative then walked me through and we went over the virtual setup together. It was very easy to do. Having Alliance Virtual Offices, I'm able to have my contact information to be more professional. It's helped in a great deal in that way. I have the business virtual address and I'm able to sign up for programs. Alliance is a great tool to use if you're starting out for a small business. It's a great way to separate your personal from your business and virtual-guide you. They can also add on to other services you may need as your business grows.

      Any time I got in contact with their customer service, they were able to answer my questions. They were able to navigate me through things that I didn't understand. They let me know how to get ahold of them again if I need any more help. You can also go and log in online, and it tells you how to get to your billing. It tells you your information as far as the services that you use. But for a small business, I would like it to be a little bit cheaper ‘cause I'm not utilizing all of the features. I would love for them to accommodate smaller businesses that are just starting off. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this service to a friend.

      I liked the opportunity that Alliance provides to new business owners. I was impressed with all the amenities that they provided to us. So, I went ahead and went with them. Overall, I'm very impressed with how punctual they are with getting the information to me. Do what they do, send me my mail to my address that I asked them to. But the overall communication between them and me has been fantastic. That's one of the reasons why I chose them, because I need a company that is proactive and not reactive when it comes to communication.

      One of the key reasons why I chose a virtual office is that I didn't want to have my personal information out there to the public for safety, for one. Then, overall, it just improves me with receiving information from different entities, especially since I move around at times. So, having a dedicated place that handles my mail properly is one of the key factors in my choosing a virtual office. ‘Cause I knew that I'm more mobile, and so I needed somewhere where I can get all my mails, which is Alliance. 

      They're awesome and friendly. When I made calls before ‘cause I had questions as a new customer, it was stellar service. Highly impressed. Even if they did not have the answer right away, they put me on hold, and they got somebody who had the answer for me or my concerns, whatever it may be. And they took care of it, and I left the call knowing that I placed my business with a trusted entity. I highly recommend Alliance. So far, so good. There are some caveats that I would improve on, but overall, no complaints.

      I use their virtual office. But at some point, I will be utilizing a conference center that they have for us, where we're able to hold sessions as well. I will be taking advantage of that. I may utilize some of their calling systems to where they can set up everything for us so that they can do multiple phone lines. That is something definitely in the pipeline as the company grows.

      There is one thing that I would like them to add to their services. What I would recommend do, especially for business owners, is to have it to where if we have multiple LLCs, have it to where they can have an umbrella under which we can get all of our correspondence under that umbrella, as opposed to having to have separate mailboxes. Because oftentimes, with a lot of LLCs now, we're having subsidiary LLCs under our parent LLC. So, that would help streamline things a lot better when it comes to receiving correspondence for the different subsidiary LLC that we have. That's something that they really want to try to see if they can work that out with having a mailbox to where, it’s an umbrella mailbox for the parent company. Because that way, it will help us not having to have multiple mailboxes, which things can get confusing. But other than that, this is a fantastic company.

      I heard about Alliance on YouTube. I needed a virtual address that wouldn't show my address for my LLC and that was what the YouTube video advertised, which was false, but I'm not mad. Enrolling with Alliance was okay. I paid for the six months, but I'm probably not going to use it at all. It didn't serve my purpose as I thought it would. It's gonna serve my purposes if I ever need to meet with a client in person. And I love the address because I'm from Chicago, so I know what that is. I just wish I had been able to use it the way I planned. But that's not Alliance's fault. Alliance never advertised that. That was the YouTube video I saw.

      She suggested a few virtual addresses that she had used for her business and she went into detail about part of her journey, but she didn't say that, "When you use Alliance, you need to know this." She advertised it as if I wanted to go to another state or city to have a meeting, Alliance is a network that I could probably utilize in that sense. But she said it was her business address. That's what she used as a business address. But she didn't specify that, "I use a business address to conduct business, but it will not be okay as a virtual address for an LLC."

      But it's pretty trouble-free to get it going. It's very reasonably priced. You have the advantage of networks of everywhere in the United States that they are located. You have the option to upgrade and anytime you want. It's a short-term lease. So you can make your decisions in your use based on what you experience the next six months, to make it a physical address or to use it as the network everywhere you need to go. You can go anywhere the Alliance has a network partner, and you can have your business meeting or congregate there and you can get a big conference room, a small office, whatever it is you need, instead of having to lease and set up a debit for your business for such an unknown and unnecessary amount of money. You can get everything you need within your price range without waste. That's my favorite part.

      I’ve been working with Alliance for one month now. The experience so far has been good. I don't like the rules regarding the PO box. But the staff has been pretty good. I have to pay another fee for my assistant to go and pick up the mail, to have access to the PO box, and I'm really not understanding that one too well. Then, having to make an appointment every time my mail comes. The customer service has been good. It's just the company itself. I don't like the fact that I have to make an appointment every time my company receives mail. I'm used to getting a key and keeping it to move. I wouldn't recommend them.

      I was looking for virtual offices and addresses for my business centers and Alliance Virtual came up as one of the options when I did a Google search. I spoke to a lady and she walked me through all the services. I had a few questions and she was able to answer them, and she addressed everything. I was interested in the mail scanning and forwarding, and the price of $1 per page for the mail scanning was decent and reasonable.

      This is my first month with them and my experience with Alliance Virtual has been great. The app is a little bit glitchy but the website is simple and fine. The only thing I'm not sure about is whether my referral bonus was credited to my account. I referred a friend, and they signed up, so I was told the referral bonus would be posted at the end of the month and deducted from my monthly payment.

      The people from Alliance were very professional. Their price was not too expensive. So, it was awesome. So far, with me just getting started, I haven't really got the full experience yet of Alliance. I just started my business and just started the account with Alliance. I just haven't necessarily reaped the benefits of Alliance services just yet, but I'm excited about it. They welcomed me on board and I'm already receiving some emails.       I am a customer of LegalZoom and one of the representatives there suggested Alliance. I've been with them for just a month and a half. I've had two encounters with two different representatives and they were great. When I visited the office for my mail pickup, the lady at the front desk was very kind as well. Signing up with Alliance was a good decision. My experience was immaculate. It's been something worthwhile. I would tell others that it's very cost-effective, being that you don't have to have somewhere that you're renting 100% of the time and you can utilize as needed.       There's a FUSE workspace near me that partners with Alliance. I signed up with Alliance and their onboarding was really easy. That allowed me to quickly get set up with the address that I needed. The goal was to use that for my company's registrations and Google page.       I saw Alliance through a Google search and a couple of YouTube videos. They're pretty responsive and accommodating. A couple of times, I had to shift my appointments, but they were very accommodating and it was good. Alliance was very good. But I get the auto-emails that say, "Hey, sign up for this," or whatever it is. Everybody's always selling something, but I am not excited about that little part. But in terms of the interaction and the follow-up, they are very, very good. So I would definitely recommend them.

      For some reason, Alliance used our previous address as the forwarding address and not the address we wanted. When we got them to change it, and we did the whole notarization thing again, it never got changed. I didn't even find out until six weeks later when I got a notification that a mail has been received. I asked them, "Where is the mail?" and they sent it to our old address, and that was how I found out. It's okay because we still have that live for this exact reason to make sure everything was working. But then I realized that they actually had never changed the address so that I would actually get it in the right place. I need to test it to make sure it goes to the right place, but we haven't officially started changing address because I haven't found the time to actually test it.

      I've had three separate series of interactions with the Alliance rep. The first interaction was by email. It was very good to interact, and then, when I responded back, it just totally disappeared. That person never responded back. I had to call and talk to somebody. I talked to the second person when I wanted to get additional services, which I ended up not getting because if I'm not even getting a response, I'm just not going to do this. So I ended up not doing that. The second person was very responsive and gave me the answers that I wanted. That was good.

      The third interaction that I had was when I got a message that said, "Oh, there's a mail that's been received." I went in to check and said, "Okay. Well, where is the mail?" They said there's no mail and it's been forwarded. Then, I said, "Okay. Well, where is it forwarded to?" They said, "Oh, we have the old address," and they gave me the old address. I told them that was wrong. It went quiet until I had to initiate the email chain saying, "Okay. What's happening? What are we doing?"

      It took a couple of days for somebody to respond. Then I got a response that got resolved. I think it got resolved but I don't know that 100%.       In the beginning, Alliance Virtual followed up. But now it has become harassment as far as their payment. With the miscommunication, if they wanna get their money, they're gonna try to take it out of your account every five minutes. I had to block them ‘cause I told them I'm gonna pay them, but I canceled it. I canceled it because it was too much. They were constantly trying to take it out of my account. And I told them that I had to change the account because it had been hacked. But they just kept trying to take it out. So, I had to get a new card. They had to wait for that, and they didn't wanna wait.

      I am using their address, and I don't think it's helping my business at all. It hasn't worked. Usually, banks don't take virtual offices, and none of my packages have been sent there.       I spoke with the representative from Alliance a week or so after I took in the service. I was advised that if have any questions, I should reach back. They also email quite a few times, so I know they're there. At the end of the day, having their service makes me look professional and that's what I like. If you're trying to look legit, go ahead and sign up with Alliance. The biggest change I had since working them was getting a better store front and I can't really complain as a business owner. We would love for it to be a lot cheaper, but you pay for value. So got to take that bill because of its value.

      My experience with Alliance Virtual has been great. I use them for a couple of things. Mainly, their office services. However, a lot of the representatives, sometimes it's hard for me to understand them. That's the biggest thing. Other than that, everything is pretty cool. I would refer them 100% because it gets the job done. I haven't had complications with them, but I've been having complications with my internet and communicating with them. I let them know ahead of time, and they weren't really too lenient and flexible with my options and extensions.

      With the business, there are a lot of things that come up that are unexpected, but the business still needs to continue running. Sometimes I feel like maybe they should have more business-savvy representatives who understand how businesses work to be a little bit more lenient with things. More or less, towards the payments and pricing, when people need extensions, because running a business gets expensive. And there are a lot of unforeseen things that come about that don't necessarily mean that the consumer is trying to cheat them, but sometimes businesses need a little bit more time for unforeseen things that arise out of nowhere. But other than that, they're great. The price is fair as well. I plan on staying with Alliance.
