    I’ve heard of Ruby Receptionists and I went on to Google, looked up some top reviews, and Abby came on as recommended so I looked into it. We just have been with them for almost two months and they’ve been fantastic. They’ve done exactly what we wanted and everything we need to. They provided the bilingual capabilities which is huge for us because of our labor force. So, having those Spanish-speaking receptionists for one of our employee’s call is extremely helpful. They put a warm, friendly voice in front of every phone call.

    My team has had raving reviews in terms of what Abby Connect has been able to do in streamlining their communication. And every time that I’ve been called to try to test their services, I've always had people who are super positive and warm. And they’re pretty effective at filtering all of our phone calls. We just had a basic auto-attendant through Comcast which had a dry cold feel and I absolutely love Abby Connect. I asked the receptionist to put most of my phone calls just through some sort of a voicemail or just take a message and send me an email. I love being able to get a quick email when I’m in meetings or working on projects. And just saying, “Hey. I just want to let you know I received a phone call and here’s what they said, and here’s your contact information.” It’s been extremely helpful.

    We've tried a live answering company in the past but Abby Connect does more so we switched. They schedule calls and meetings which the other one didn't do and that was important for us.     We started using Abby Connect in February and right now we're just using them as our answering service. It’s been nice for me because if I’ve been out of the office, we know that the phones are covered. We have all noticed that it’s been a lot easier and nice services to have. Not as big as a headache. Before there was a lot of competition between sides of the office to try to answer the phone if I didn’t get to it quick enough. Just a lot of pettiness because there’s a lot of voices that we were hearing and that’s the maturity level that they had. So, it took away from some productivity, and it’s been nice because we haven’t had to deal with that.

    When the girls call and transfer calls, they've been always super cheerful and helpful. That just means that when they’re answering the phones for our clients, they’re the same way and not mean. So, they’re just as professional service to our clients. I appreciate that. And then Marianne, my name contact as far as via email, is always quick and responsive.

    There has just been some challenges as far as dealing with our clients because the clients that we actually work with and the clients that Abby Connect works with are different. It’s been a challenge to try to educate the team there at Abby Connect how it worked to get it to the right people in a timely manner. And it’s just teaching them the nature of our business. It’s not that they screwed up on anything. It’s just teaching them how it works to get to the right line.

    I’m happy with Abby Connect. They’re very friendly, responsive and professional. They take messages and transfer calls.     Abby is amazing. If you give them a specific list of outgoing calls, they can do that. Their outgoing call ability has been limited but I appreciate that they can call someone for me and tell them something in particular. And if I can’t speak to someone, they can call that person and arrange the time for me to call them back. I love that because I don’t have an office assistant. And their 24-hour service is awesome. Even at 3:00 in the morning, their voice still sounds the same as it did at 10:00 in the morning. And for every single phone call, you get the message immediately. Even when I call them to tell them something, they send me a message to tell me that I called them to tell them that. They're very thorough. Abby Connect has complemented my business because they’re so professional. They’ve allowed me to turn over a new face, and they have played a significant role in people resuming their sense of respect for me and my company.

    I used Stericycle before and they were horrible. The people who took the calls at Stericycle were unprofessional. It took probably a thousand years for the system to be implemented and it was never correct. They did misspellings and they delayed, holding and sending the messages, so they always get sent in bundles. They also had a lot of hidden fees and they’re exceptionally expensive. I could’ve paid for a year of Abby with a month of them.

    I love Abby Connect. The people working at Abby Connect are very prompt, patient, understanding, and comprehensive. You tell them something once and they get it. They're very uniform and you can’t tell a personality difference between any of them. They’re very protective too. The only negative experience I had was when someone was trying to help me, but her above and beyond was too much, and I never had to deal with that again. I just launched two new YouTube pages and I have Abby Connect listed it at the bottom of both, and I just have to get in touch with them. I think everyone should consider Abby Connect.

    Abby Connect is great but I really wish that they could help me schedule appointments. I got them right when they were getting rid of that service, so that’s a disadvantage for me. Now with more doctor-preneurs blossoming, they could figure out a bundle price where they feel like they would be appropriately compensated. Unfortunately, and I’ve told them what’s gonna happen is that I’m gonna get another service that they could help me book appointments. Because I now realize the value of not having anyone here present as opposed to me having this service for this, and this service for that. I would hate to leave Abby Connect but I wish they could just reassess whatever their decision was to stop helping doctors book appointments and come up with a narrow way that it could be done where it’s cost-efficient. I wish that they could resume that service.

    We understand how frustrating it is that we can not schedule your patients over the phone, but the majority of our industry has moved away from this in favor of online scheduling. This has provided a better experience for callers and businesses alike. What we can do is direct patients to your website if you have a scheduling link. We find that callers are happier with this because they have the times you are available to compare with their own calendar side by side, plus automatic confirmations and reminders. We have found this workaround to be very beneficial to most clients.

    I previously used a different live answering company in other businesses and had some experience mainly with after-hours answering services. Abby Connect does a much better job at following the instructions that I wanted to be followed. I have some specific things that I want them to do or not to do, and they all seem to be really good at following those instructions. It allowed us to really focus on our most value-added tasks and allows them to give a professional greeting to our potential clients. They’re good at getting us the calls and the information on who’s calling even if we missed the call. We would’ve missed calls in the past had Abby not been in place.

    I interacted with their team about a week ago when there was a potential new client who was calling in and he was really aggressive and had a bad attitude. He gave the receptionist a hard time. I got the message but it was professionally written. I could tell that this guy was being a problem and that’s something that we need to know if we’re gonna start working in with a client. I called the person the potential client and canceled our meeting and told him we were not interested in representing them. Then I called the receptionist herself who took the message and confirmed what happened. I thanked her for being professional in how she handled him and apologized for having to deal with him. I appreciated her going the extra mile to explain the attitude and so many other things that were going on in the call that saved us from having to deal with a nightmare client for months on end.     I Googled a receptionist and found Abby Connect. We hired them to put people through and they also take messages and then their e-mail address. It made our business look more professional. We’ve had some issues with our long-time clients who said like, "Why do I have to get all these questions asked." We’ve been around for a really long time and they’re like, “What is going on over there?” I told Abby not to give them the fifth degree of questioning and just go through and Abby adjusted. I just send them a quick e-mail and then they let the girls know. I think it took a little bit to get them to adjust changing the way they push the call through, but I think we’re good now. But I have had some of our customers really think that the girls are really nice so it’s always good to hear.

    We used to have Ruby Receptionists and then we wanted to switch to a 24/7 call center. We switched to Alert Communications but then they just weren’t working out for us. They didn’t have like the Ruby feel. They weren’t very personable, and we kept having a lot of different issues and client complaints. So we searched and we saw a few articles for Abby and we saw they had a lot of good reviews. We tried them out and we kept them. We haven’t had any issues with Abby Connect since we’ve been with them. We have switched to Abby Connect two and a half months ago. We have them as virtual assistant and the after hours service. We have a personal injury attorney and for him it’s vital that any car accident that happens during weekend that the client can call and speak to someone and make it seem like it’s someone from our firm that’s speaking with them.

    Same thing for the virtual receptionist, we have it set up so after about three rings, it forwards onto them. It was great because before we’ve been getting a lot of missed calls. A lot of clients were are constantly calling back and just complaining, saying that “Hey, I called your front desk, left a message. I can’t get in contact with anyone.” That’s a huge help and we definitely needed some type of assistance with that. Abby Connect were really a joy to work with.

    We use Abby Connect's virtual assistant feature the most. It’s nice that we know that somebody’s there to answer the phone no matter what we’re doing. We had a different live answering company for a few days before and compared to Abby Connect, it was obvious that the other company was reading off a screen so it didn’t sound natural. We tried a few test calls and it didn’t go well. We've had good interactions with Abby Connect's reps. The only thing is Abby Connect bills us pretty high compared to the others. I would recommend them to anyone assuming they are willing to pay what it costs.

    I read an article about one of Abby Connect's competitors so I started doing some research and Googling around. It seemed Abby Connect would fit our needs for our small law firm. We use them for the 9-5 answering, in place of our live receptionist. We have a vacated receptionist for a long time so we're utilizing our paralegals and legal assistants. We've had a couple of little issues that have come up along the way based on just getting used to everything and the power outage on their end, but the Abby Connect reps that I have worked with have been very responsive of taking care of things.

    The only thing that I've heard from a few people in the office was that every once in a while, the people answering the phone were a little too chipper. Almost like sometimes it was a touch fake as opposed to professional. It's not unprofessional but we're trying to portray a live receptionist that would be sitting at an office to the person on the other end of the phone. And we've never had a receptionist that was that excited about her job. They should pull that back a touch and have a little more professional voice. But overall, it has been a very positive experience. If a colleague asked me, I would recommend Abby Connect.

    I would highly recommend Abby Connect. We use the voicemail and it's more cost effective to have them answer and then screen the call. If they need to talk to someone, they transfer it. So far, Abby Connect has been very helpful in that we have a customer service team that's busy and they don't have the constant interruptions on the phone. And we can take it on and off because we are cost-conscious. The benefit that we enjoy is that we have control of our cost and it's been great. In addition, I have spoken with Mary Ann and she's been very responsive. All of their representatives are, so I'm definitely happy.

    I am an attorney and I have some marketing channels that essentially were ringing through my phone that I wanted to separate from my office for tracking purposes. So, I needed to get a separate service. I was looking to not get an answering service that's a step above the run-of-the-mill answering service that's just going to take a number and have a lot of beeps and boops behind you. They position themselves as a virtual receptionist which is a burgeoning field. There are a lot of companies that do that and that's more along the lines of what I was looking for because it's a marketing line. In my business, there are people calling looking for a lawyer, so I don't want a cold and dry feel. I want something a little bit more cheery and welcoming.

    I saw an Abby Connect booth at a legal marketing seminar and I went with them initially because they provided weekend services, whereas one of their competitors didn't. But the feature that I use the most is the email because they let me create a form that they fill out and send to me. It's in my email account and it's searchable and it helps for remarketing. If I needed to create a mailing list, one of the fields is for addresses. It helps for referrals if I'm referring a case to another lawyer.

    Often times, I'm not able to take a phone call and they'll send me an email straight away right after they're done and that's very helpful because then I'll see how urgent it is for me to address it. That's the best part of Abby Connect. I use them for after hours as well and I like how they expand their services. I'm very pleased with their services and I’m happy with Abby Connect. They're conscientious and they provide what they say that they're going to provide. I've recommended them to other people.

    We heard about Abby Connect through the place where we leased some office space and we had a relationship there so we went with it. When we're not in the office or when somebody's not available to pick up the phone, they would pick it up and answer for us after five rings. We've gotten some calls that we would have missed otherwise which improves customer service and maybe bring in some new clients as well. If somebody was looking for an answering service I would definitely say try Abby Connect. They're efficient and enthusiastic.     I'm satisfied with Abby Connect. The most convenient thing for me is with people calling in. I'm in the office for them to be transferred over. For instance, this morning, someone called and was patched through to Gerard, and then he asked for them to be patched through to me so, that was nice for that to be an easy transition.

    I do appreciate also the emails that we get. I called them last week about a call that I received, but I didn't miss the call and they got a voicemail or an email. It transpired, but it was a call that I spoke with Abby Connect. They patched me through and we did connect to the caller, but I just wanted them to send me records of the phone call like the name and the time. They gave me all the information I needed and that was really nice because I'd like to be able to go back and reference anything. When someone doesn't have my direct line and is contacting me through our main business line, I do like to have a reference to go back to.

    And it would be nice if for any call that I receive, even one that I am patched through to, I could receive an email that gives me the contact person, their name, phone number, and calling in regard. We have that in the missed calls, but if that could be in also like the received patched through calls, I would like that. Partnering with them has been great to our business.

    When I tried a different live answering company and was not satisfied with them, I looked for other options. The main things with Abby Connect were their bilingual services and price. I use Abby Connect's virtual assistance and compared with the other company, theirs is so much better. The other company didn't answer most of my calls and I don't know if it was a technical problem but I had a lot of calls that were not picked up. Working with them has been great. I am a firm of one and I was missing a lot of my Spanish calls before especially the new customers who would call. So just having the bilingual service has been helpful, getting new clients and response time shorten.

    Abby Connect's customer service reps have been great. Our dealings have been fairly seamless and painless, and those are usually when they turn the call for the most part. And if I'm going to be out for the day, I'll have to send them an email and let them know that I'm not in to take calls. I would highly recommend them to a friend of mine and tell them that she'd be able to go on vacation and not have to worry about the current calls not being answered and a message will be taken. And that clients will be notified that I won't be around for a week or so.

    Abby Connect is very user-friendly in terms of virtual receptionist services. Usually, when you call, the person that's answering the phone just doesn’t have a friendly sounding voice and they don't sound enthusiastic about answering the phone. They almost sound like you're bothering them. With Abby Connect, everybody is very personable. They sound like they're in a good mood and it was easy to coordinate and schedule with them.

    Also, their pricing is very simplified and easy to understand. Some other places that have virtual receptionist services, there's a price per call and getting your information is just very difficult. Abby Connect texts or emails transcripts of people calling. They also complete client intakes for us. Whenever you have marketing out there, you don't really know necessarily if a case is going to be viable or not. You don't want to waste time on it if it's not going to be viable. So, Abby Connect makes it to where they get enough preliminary information to where we don't have to waste time with a case that's not that good.

    Partnering with Abby Connect impacted my business in a very meaningful way. I have a law firm and a real estate brokerage with Abby Connect. When you hire people to be a receptionist, you don't know how many calls are coming in. You don't know if the person is going to be able to handle the influx of calls. Sometimes it's a good position that's wasted in terms of the payment. You could pay somebody to sit there at the desk but it's really hard to make sure that you optimize that position. With Abby Connect, I always know that the phones will be answered and I know that it will always be optimized because it's based on minutes, which is good.

    Abby Connect is definitely the way to go for handling your communications at your firm because nothing falls through the cracks.     We use Abby Connect for answering phone calls after hours. Partnering with them has been okay. However, they have not been providing enough subsequent information about the company but they've been great as a general receptionist. When it comes to discussing things with clients or following a conversation in its liveliness and not sticking to just the things that are in front of them, they need a huge amount of improvement. They provide a very nice personable, very positive, and very hefty conversation but they were not asking questions that would be putting up a block or throwing up a hesitation for a customer. Sometimes the representative doesn’t read through what information to be asked of them or they need to ask but they forget to use their active listening skill to adjust and not ask questions that aren’t necessary to be asked at a point in time.

    For the most part, the representatives highlight the item that we discussed. It’s just we haven’t put in any huge amount of substantial time to having a sit-down or a conference call to really go over everything as well as provide them with the information to kind of nitpick at. Abby Connect is great. They’re very preppy, they talk to the client very nicely the entire time, they send messages via email, and they enjoy the fact that they hang up a smoke screen that there are other callers that are coming in that would be brought to our attention.

    Abby Connect has a more modern system than the typical answering service where people had no enthusiasm like in a call center. When we called to test it, they sounded excited when they answered the phone so it was good. We got an answering service from them so that if somebody steps out or if nobody's at the office, we would get the messages right away rather than on our voicemail. They would email the person who called and then email us as well so we could give a callback right away. The team in Abby Connect has been good and helpful. In the beginning, it was hard to get our phones to forward, but they were really understanding with that. They restarted our trial period because the transferring disconnected.     We use Abby Connect as a back-up. We’re a small company so when we’re tied up doing work or in client meetings, we use it to keep somebody answering the phone. We’re small enough that my admin staff works so we can’t always answer the phone. The folks Abby Connect that I set up with are very nice. They did a good job. Since then I just basically get their messages so I can’t really call the normal people. The only thing I don’t like is that I can't call once a month to see what they actually sound like.

    I would like to just randomly call and see if they sound nice, especially now that I can’t really do it without them. I’d like to check if they speak proper English or if they are nice. They should waive a call for the owner at least until I get used to them and comfortable. But they do a lot better job than my admin did because a lot of times she wouldn’t take out the number to call back for me. When I get issues, Abby Connect actually puts the number in the message and I can just hit them and call them, versus checking my email and contacts to see if I have the number. It’s a lot more helpful. It made us look more professional rather than somebody answering the phone.

    Before Abby, we used a different live answering company for a week, but my messages were not complete that I needed to go back and see. We contacted the previous provider as there were some issues and they just didn’t work. We were trying to decide whether to hire a full-time office girl and Abby has eliminated having to bring another employee on.

    Abby saves us a bit of money and is much better as it answers for us 24 hours a day. We have the convenience of always getting a message whenever we can’t take the call.     We have multiple locations in Europe and in the US and we needed 24 hour answering service for our business. We had to make sure that if any customer from overseas calls, they could talk to someone live and relay their message, as opposed to receiving our automated voice message system.     Partnering with Abby Connect has been a positive for my business. We don't do a very good job of answering our phones and we get a lot of calls that we don't want to deal with from people trying to sell us loans. If we see a call from New York, we generally don't pick it up because we know it's a loan company. However, they were fielding a bunch of calls and we ended up paying a lot more than we wanted to. There were certain types of calls that they couldn't help on, We'll have people call the studio because they're running late. But our phone is always mobile, so it didn't make sense to pick up the phone in those situations because you can't help them anyway. So, they're calling a mobile service and they didn't really know what to do with those calls.

    Other than that, they're really friendly on email. Also, I called the service once just to hear how it was, so it's just as they were answering them seemed fine. It's a good thing for the company to have someone answer the phone. But it's hard to generally determine the cost benefit. Their lowest tier of service is comfortable, but they were taking more calls which pushed our fees up close to $500 a month. It's hard to figure out if it's worth the money, but they're professional and it's a good company, so I'd recommend them.

    We went through half a dozen different services, going through Google and testing them before we found Abby Connect. There's a night and day difference between them and everyone else. We had a number of complaints from existing customers calling in on the prior services and Abby Connect is the first service we’ve used that the feedback was that they actually sounded they’re at our business, not just in a call center or in some cases, a daycare. Partnering with them has been very positive for our business and we use the 24/7 service the most and then live screening and patching of the calls also. They’ve also been very professional. Every call they handled goes really well. They have the information of the caller and they give us feedback on whether they think the caller is unsolicited or not.     They were the first one who immediately responded to my request when I was looking for virtual call center companies.     Abby Connect was recommended by another attorney and it was slightly cheaper than the service I was going to go with. But it has been horrible because I had several individuals tell me they had called and left five or six messages and I had only received one from several different individuals. Their front end communication, the email, and returning phone calls, are all very good but when we do ghost calls where you call in, sometimes the phone rings and doesn’t get answered. Also, sometimes when it does get answered, it sounds like the person is on a conference call where it’s not clear. It’s hard to hear them. Their service was very expensive and they didn’t deliver on their promise. I’m going to let them go.

    This came as a surprise though, because no issues were reported on the account. When we received your feedback we investigated immediately as we do with all reported client concerns. Every account has an account manager who they are encouraged to call or email directly at any time.

    Given the nature of our business, recordings help us verify and address concerns quickly. While you haven't answered our emails or calls, we've been able to review your entire account history to address what you outlined in your review.

    Call Quality

    After listening to the calls we can confirm that the quality of the calls was crystal clear and did not sound like a conference call. The client provided no feedback or concerns about call quality to his account manager nor did any come up during our regular quality assurance checks.

    Missed Messages
    We’ve been able to confirm that 100% of messages were taken by the client's team of Abby receptionists and sent through the system.

    Please note that in our 14-day trial period clients get access (if they’d like) to a few optional services, one of which is transcription of voicemail messages sent to email. The transcription service is automated and therefore we always remind and advise clients to call into their voicemail box as well to verify. If there’s an issue with the transcription service we’ll contact that vendor as soon as it’s reported.

    When the client's trial concluded and he signed up, he did not continue on with that service so his email transcriptions should have stopped. Voicemail box instructions were sent to him with his activation email. The client’s voicemail box has 74 messages in it as of today.

    Unfortunately, the client also never contacted us with a single concern so there would have been no chance of us diagnosing any issues or walking him through the voicemail system or transcription service in better detail.

    Missed Calls

    There are no calls which went unanswered into his number for the hours which he was contracted with us.

    Had the client's concerns been shared with us we’d have investigated them immediately, made any updates or revisions to his settings, and walked him through the voicemail or transcription system. Our clients’ businesses are so important to us that we respond to all concerns the same day, but no concerns were raised. We'd love to resolve these issues and keep him as a client and we'll continue to reach out to him ready to move forward in whichever direction he chooses.

I received an unsolicited compliment on the quality of our receptionist since we started using Abby Connect in one of my business connections.     I did some research online and narrowed it down to the best three. Actually, the top ten answering services like Boutique Answering Services and Abby Connect were on that list. Abby Connect was right at the top, if not number one, number two. So, I called the first five on that list and then I liked Abby Connect out of those five. We mostly use the virtual assistant service and the people at Abby Connect are really good at transferring the call to one of our voicemails or inboxes. It's typically after hours when they do that. And also the ability over the weekend wherein they send criteria we gave them and they can assess whether or not to transfer it live to me.

    Both Mary Ann and Gail had been excellent. They're always friendly and always very knowledgeable about what they can or cannot do. Same goes for email where the responses were not as prompt as the call, but there's always a response and they always address it. My questions were answered and my concerns are addressed. It was a very good experience in setting up the account. They have facilitated every single criterion that I have incorporated into the team that will be taking our calls. I've only been a month with Abby Connect. Right now, we're still working out all the wrinkles. It's good for our law firm to have that additional service. I haven't seen their impact entirely maybe because of the number of people and the different shift. We're not at the level that we want them to be but, we're working on it.

    I was solicited by someone on LinkedIn about Abby Connect. I looked into it, and then I called and talked to a main person whom I would characterize as the information gatherer and they transferred me to someone that would be the point person initially. I asked all the information and did their two-week free trial, which went well. During that time, I had a couple of questions and was able to get the person in charge of my account on the phone. I could email that person and they’d get back to me, so it was positive overall.

    I use Abby Connect during my regular business hours to screen calls. The after-hour calls I get are transcribed, so that’s nice. I look at it that way, but it’s just nice to have someone gather the information that’s pertinent for me to decide if I’m going to take a call or not, rather than pick up the phone and waste time listening to someone talk my ear off. Plus, I get both email and text summarizing the initial conversation. That’s really helpful because I’m assured I’m going to get the information pretty quickly. If I’m in court and it’s a potential new client, I’ll step out and call them right away.

    I have my own business, so I value the same things that I try to give the people. When they have a question, I get right back to them or at least try to explain things to them that they have questions or which Abby Connect did for me. They are as advertised and it’s exactly what I needed. I need someone to do the service they provide and it’s been a pleasure so far. I have recommended them to one or two people.

    Since I’m unable to answer my phone customers properly, I decided to hire a company for it, and with any company I’m going to work with, I base everything on reviews and Facebook. So I searched reviews online and found Abby Connect, but this was before I worked with a different live answering company a couple of years ago. And it wasn’t a good experience, so I never used them again.

    The reps at Abby Connect are a pleasure to work with. They are so professional in the way they answer the phone and they are very seemingly helpful. If I’m in the middle of a meeting or I’m doing something else and I don’t want to answer the phone, they can handle it right away. I have a couple of friends who actually call to check on me and everybody came with some kind of compliment. They keep the communication for any customers and if I want to change anything, I talk to the person who handles my account. I don’t see anything they’re not able to do. They are very patient and treat the other human being on the other side of the call well.

    A couple of months ago I was researching on the internet about virtual receptionists and I came across Abby Connect, who was well reviewed and well-liked. So, it's where I decided to go. It was actually six months ago now and somebody mentioned a competitor, Ruby. So I looked at both Ruby and Abby. Quite frankly, the reason I chose Abby was pretty simple and it was basically because if I needed to increase my service minutes, the price point was just significantly lower with Abby on an increased bill. Initially, there wasn't much difference, like $10, but for the next level up, which I may need to bump it up with Abby, it was a conservatively lower price point than their competitor.

    I have the live receptionist and the after-hours. I think the ability to leave an e-mail or take a message or have somebody field my calls is vitally important and well. Even more than that, it's the fact that I can let them know I'm gonna be out of the office so I'm not going to get calls for certain periods of time. Having them is a very good thing. I've been very pleased with the customer service, as well.

    Abby Connect was brought to my attention by a business coach that we use. This is the most cost effective and made the most sense. We had 40 percent growth last year but I didn't want to take on and off with a person full time because I didn't need them in that capacity yet. So, this was a good fit for the time being, always having a live receptionist to be able to answer the phones. I'm wearing so many hats that when I go to a meeting, I can't answer the phone and sometimes people just want to move on to the next person. I've called them myself. Everybody was savvy and answered the phone very professionally enough to steer the client in the right direction to make it seem like they're in our office. They have been able to adapt well to our business. We haven't expected them to know the pricing, so that's great.

    We discussed everything that we needed to talk about, like how we would want the phones to be answered, prior to it going live. The only time I ever saw anything goofy was when somebody answering that line at that time didn't want to give information that we're hoping they would give us such as the address and phone number. They would say, "Hi, you reached Mike with Eco Harmony Landscaping Design. How may I help you today?" Then, they steer the conversation the way it needed to go. I always get the calls that I needed to get, where they're trying to patch me live. Otherwise, they've taken down all the information that I needed in order to able to get back to somebody.

    The only thing that I'm dissatisfied with, which was a good problem they have, was that I was expecting to only pay so much money. But, our call volume has been higher than expected so it wasn't anybody's fault. I've told people about it. I've had friends call and they said, "Oh man, when did you have somebody start working for you?" and I say we don't.

    We have used Abby Connect for a little over a month now. We use after-hours calling. We get e-mails in our inbox about messages. They answer incoming calls and if the individual's not available to take the message, then they will shoot us an e-mail. It's taken a lot of pressure off of the attorneys and the legal assistants to answer the phones. I'll then sift through exactly what it is that someone wants. The interactions with Abby Connect were exceptionally positive and always very kind.

    One issue that we've had, since we're an immigration law firm, is that most of our clients have a name that is sometimes difficult to spell. Sometimes it's hard to understand them over the phone. So, we've been having a problem where a call would get transferred and the individual won't know who's calling, how to spell their name, who they want to speak with. We also deal with a lot of Spanish-speaking clients and in at least one situation, the person that fielded the call didn't speak Spanish. There were a lot lost in translation when they give us a message. We've been trying to assist with that and give them some guidance and feedback on that.

    Another thing is, some of our team members have been going on vacation and are unable to answer the phones. We've been trying to coordinate with Abby Connect to let them know, "Hey, this person's gonna be out of the office, if they call, to take a message and e-mail it". It seems like sometimes wires have been crossed a little bit. They're not sure if the person's in or out of the office. For example, I was in the office this morning but they took two messages for me as opposed to transferring it. Maybe there's a reason why those calls were not patched through to me.     We were not happy with our services with LiveVoice and we've been with them for a couple of years. Out IT manager sent me a list when they initially were looking for a messaging service and I went down the list, read reviews, called and got more information and Abby Connect made the most sense. They had really great ratings and any negative comments were just like, "It was just this but other than that, I really like their services." I then tried it out and they were the ones that answered right away. With the other people, I had to schedule calls with and I had to set up a time for somebody to come in. We needed the service at that moment, and Abby Connect was like "We will take care of you right now, give you a free trial, and see how you do" and they've been very good with reaching out and updating services whenever we asked for it. So far, I've been very happy and we've only been with them for two months.

    Their communication is fantastic. I was really impressed with how they handled calls compared to those operators from LiveVoice. They seemed more intelligent and their customer service skills were a lot better. They were really natural which I really liked. They are not like a robot. I'm the one that answers the calls for our office so we want somebody who acted as if they were me, and they've worked. My mother called and she thought that the operator was me so they're doing a great job.

    Our clients are a lot more comfortable with the service as a whole when they call in. We're an international company so we have a lot of calls that come from our office in Israel who are our biggest clients. There's a little bit of language barrier, and if the calls are clear and consistent, they're happy with it. If the operator sounds unintelligent or has a different lingo that they use, that doesn't represent a professional international corporation, they're not going to be happy with that. We haven't really gotten a whole lot of feedback from them with our new services, but they haven't complained at all so that's good.

    Every so often we'll call Abby Connect to check it out because I want to make sure that when I'm not around even a few minutes and I put it on the answering service, I want to know that the people who normally call in during business hours are being taken care of properly. I only had one instance where one of my employees did not know if his callers were being given the option to leave voicemails and I didn't realize that it was not an option that was set up with them. I then called Mary Anne who has been my connection with Abby Connect. She set that up for us and it's working okay. They seemed really friendly, very natural and they get the job done. If they need to take a message, they'll forward it. They do exactly what we ask them to do which is great.

    Overall, everything's been very efficient and there's a good follow through with the things that I've discussed and mentioned and needed help with. They're an awesome company and I would definitely recommend them to other businesses.

    I signed up for Abby by mistake and it was crazy but I'm glad I did it because it all worked out. They're very friendly and I get some good comments about it. My clients say that they talked to a nice person and that really helps when you have somebody pick up the phone and that they care. I've called them a couple of times and they've been very, very helpful so I've never had a problem. Also, I use all of their features. The only thing that I would like is to be able to turn it off and on with my phone so I can adjust when I use Abby instead of using them all the time. My brother can do that with Ruby on his smartphone but Abby doesn't have an app so I asked them about it. They said they'll look into it and I haven't heard anything from them so maybe they didn't think it was a good idea. But they're a great service, they've been good to me and I've never missed a beat.     Abby Connect provides good service. If I have things that need to be picked up, I drop them at the front desk and if I have things that are delivered to me, then I go pick them up from them and they've been fine with regards to that. I use a conference room, I set them up and give them a call and schedule it. I frequently use the phone answering and messaging service. The only issue is on the phone calls sometimes, the phone quality is not that good and there's a bit of a delay. When the phone calls are connected to me, sometimes they get cut off and it becomes a problem. Other than that, the people are great and I would recommend them to a friend. Their service satisfies what I need from them so I've been pretty happy.

    We use Abby Connect mainly for after-hours calls. It has allowed us to continue what we're doing in a more productive way because previously, we were using two different services, an after-hours service and a during-the-day service. Abby has allowed us to just use one. They've always been responsive within 12 hours and if I had a problem, they always fixed it. However, we're frustrated sometimes because we would give instructions and they would be received, and then be forgotten and we'd have to give them again.

    The prior service we had was better in customer service but there was a delay with the old service. Sometimes, callers will be transferred and they would say something and then we would start to talk before they were finished talking because of this odd delay or vice-versa, so we'd confuse each other as we were talking. Abby Connect is better and in terms of being around-the-clock. They're easy to use and reliable,and that is what I wanted.

    I'm mobile and not in the office all the time. I use Abby Connect's extended hours and regular service as it's cheaper than hiring an employee. It's saving me a lot of money and I get a whole staff of people that answer the phone and take my calls for me. They also make my company look a lot bigger than it is and give us a nice professional image which at the end of the day strengthens our brand. There are only a couple of people that actually work for my company but thanks to Abby, it looks like we're one of the biggest app development firms in America so that's priceless.

    Also, everyone there treated me exceptionally well. They're very nice, cordial, and respectful and they return phone calls. All of my interactions with them have been awesome and through the roof. What I also like about Abby is that they don't blanket and generalize everyone. They don't treat everybody like a number. They customize what they do around each client. Every time I ask them to do something, I put in a request and they'll say they'll do it and ask me how I want it done. They always try to find a way to satisfy me and they're really good people. They've been able to roll with the punches and so have I so it's a good working relationship.

    However, I was expecting them to interact more with the clients and answer some basic questions. They charge almost $300 while their competitors charge about 30 to 50 bucks a month. These companies offer traditional answering services and Abby's reps are also just taking messages. But the rates are getting better and I enjoy working with Abby Connect. It's a great experience and I'm happy with them.

    I called several other places before Abby Connect and none were very good about bringing us on as new clients. If a problem came up, others just say, “Well, this is how we work," and there was no interest in trying to see how we needed for it to work. So I started to feel like I wasn't going to that route. And then I contacted Abby Connect and realized that they're different because of the virtual office piece. They're very professional and willing to make it work for whatever the intricacies of your business are.

    Everybody there is always super helpful and gets back to me really quickly. We made a lot of changes and were trying to close down for a week. That's what precipitated our need for the assistance.     We've partnered with Abby Connect for a little over a year now and they help us stay in contact with patients instead of missing calls. Getting messages, and booking patients as opposed to just leaving a voice mail or not leaving a message. Their reps seem very nice and intensive. Usually, if I have an issue they'll try to fix it right away. But I had a couple of instances where things weren't really fixed or our schedule wasn't really followed. It's not a lot but it's happened multiple times. But they're great when I call them. Everyone's great and has been very helpful. I would definitely recommend them.

    There was a time period where we did not have an administrator and so it was important that we had someone answering the calls. We did some research, and we found Abby Connect and saw some good reviews. Their most helpful feature is the virtual assistant. Every time someone calls letting us know that we’ve got an incoming caller, they're super pleasant and they will take messages for us if it’s someone that we can’t speak to at the moment. Sometimes it can be the difference between me having an okay day to me having a pretty good one because of how they speak to everybody on the phone. I also really like the thorough message taking when we have messages taken down either before or after hours. It's helpful getting those in the email with all of the information that we need in order to contact the person back.

    We've been using Abby Connect for many years, mostly for their answering service. Their team are good to work with. Some of them are young, I can tell from the way they talk. Sometimes they don't know how to pronounce properly so when people are calling, they don't come across as very polished. But they're just answering phones, we know what were hiring. They communicate with us any kind of information that we need to know - any days that they're going to be closed, any issues that were coming up, any changing of equipment, or any upgrading, etc. I've hardly had any problem with the system.     Abby Connect answers the phone and schedules appointments for me. I have set on several occasions where they have booked one of my clients on another facility schedule and vice versa. And sometimes I may have someone show up at my office and turns out we scheduled this appointment and we find out that they are actually on somebody's schedule in another city. But that hasn't happened in a long time. Sometimes I also have an issue when they're not really good at keeping my appointment time together. So some days I may have a 9:30, and then not have somebody until 1:00. It's a really big gap for me between that. But anytime, they have been responsive if I have called to bring something like that. And they've managed it and tried to fix it. I would still recommend them.

    I’m friends with the owner of Abby Connect. Before using them, I owned another answering company at the time.     Abby Connect was the first company we came across to have a virtual assist that was local to us. We use their call forwarding and the mailbox features. Unfortunately, last week there was a bit of an outage with our call forwarding so customers and potential new customers couldn’t get a hold of us for three days. I emailed the office manager that I have a relationship with and they couldn’t tell me when the problem occurred as well as there’s no system that tells them when the issue happened. That was a little annoying but it was fixed within 10 minutes and they’re very good overall.

    I’m thinking about approaching them as a potential customer of ours. We’re an IT consultant and company and professional services. And we also have an open rec head count for about 20 different roles that we’re trying to recruit for. One of those people actually emailed me and said that he went to our website and saw our recommendation. He has tried to call us but our phone is broken. So Abby Connect doesn’t sell me with much confidence. Nonetheless, Andrew, the VP of Sales and New Business, was absolutely awesome and has been a great connection.

    I originally had the office set up through Plaza Offices in Las Vegas. And then through a turnover, the property in which I have an executive suite in became an Abby Connect property. Prior to that, I had 3 to 4 live answering company in the last nine years. But, I’m disappointed with Abby Connect. All of a sudden I’ll get a voicemail, but I won’t receive the call on my cellphone like I’m supposed to have. I don’t get a whole lot of the forwarded voicemails. The quality had dropped since the changeover.

    Partnering with them has reduced my connectivity level which reduced my ability to service my clients because, I’m not receiving phone calls. They just go directly to voicemail. I have spoken to them about it and they said there’s no reason that it should be happening but it’s happening so I’m dissatisfied. I’m actually debating moving offices because I’m not happy with the service that I’m being provided with for the dollar amount in which I’m paying and not occupying any space. I spend almost $500 a month for my two locations with them and I get nothing.

    We had a cyber office for our Photography/Photobooth LLC for many years with Abby Connect in Summerlin - Las Vegas. The office building was always immaculately clean and professionally decorated. Just like the Disney Corp., walls were always freshly painted, floors and carpets were replaced and updated as needed. The parking lot and building, where we would meet clients, were always maintained to high standards. Whenever there was a customer payment dropped off at the front desk or supplies delivered via UPS/FedEx, we were always promptly notified of the arrival so we could come in that day and pick them up.

    The office staff was 100% warm but professional. There were never had any complaints from clients or from us on the level of service or attitudes of the office staff.     We use Abby Connect mostly for incoming calls. The call forwarding is probably the best. When I'm out of the office and the client doesn't know that I'm out, calls can be forwarded to me. That’s a good thing. The only issue is voicemails used to show up on my phone as a flashing voicemail. But now, I have to check an email to see if I've missed a call. Also, the phone not lighting up is the only thing that is not an improvement. Overall, a positive and efficient experience.

    My brother and I own a company. I'm in touch with Abby Connect daily and they work with us directly. We have a lot of incoming calls for our company and they handle that really well. They also deliver emails to us. We stay in touch through a lot of different avenues like emails and through the phone. They're prompt and very good. With the type of business we're in, we are on the field a lot so we don't have the capability of answering the phone during the day. Abby Connect can schedule appointments, book us for inspections and keep us on pace. Essentially, they're managing our office and scheduling our appointments beautifully.

    Their staff are very courteous and very friendly. They don't know our business because they don't do home inspections but they pick up quickly. We don't tell them anything more than once if something needs to be adjusted or changed or there are some minor tweaks here and there, which is the growing pains in a partnership that one has with a secretary or a manager. Otherwise, it's been great. We get a lot of compliments from our clients when we meet them face-to-face. They had a good experience most of the time with talking to the staff from Abby Connect directly on the phone. They'd say, "I spoke with so and so from your office and it gives us a feel that it's actually like an in-office. It's not an out of town answering service." It's been a great experience overall. Abby Connect does a great job and they really help manage our business. I'm very satisfied with them.

    We've had our office with Plaza Offices for years before it became Abby Connect. We use the live answering receptionist and sometimes they take messages for us. We have our liaisons there.     We started our own business seven years ago and we were with Allied Offices that time then Abby Connect took over and they stepped up their game. Their website and offices look much better. The staff is very professional. We had a few issues in the early days but it's great now. We do the outgoing calls on occasion. The receptionists are terrific. We use their conference rooms frequently and some of our staff interacts with them on a daily basis. Partnering with them helps. A lot of the girls that were there prior to becoming the Abby were still there and work hard.

    I have great faith in them. They are always exceptionally friendly and willing to go above and beyond for our client. They make exceptions for us when we ask them to. If they can make our day any easier, they go always out of their way to do so. We even got a huge pack of goodies and some of the staff has even become pen pals with my young daughter giving things to make us feel like we're part of the family. I've enjoyed that tremendously. We've had outstanding customer service and we appreciate it.

    Abby Connect is a fantastic service and I love it. Before using them, I had a different automated system connected and didn't like it as much. Abby Connect works great. They're good with the timely answering of the telephones. I mostly have them call and transfer the call to me, whether I'm at my office or on an appointment. I get comments from my customers that they like how professional the Abby Connect reps are. They're all nice, professional, and have good voices. Very clear, understandable, and good communication. When I send them an email, it has a voice message connected to it. I can use the service on all my devices. We've had problems where the phones go haywire. Abby Connect quickly calls or drops an email to let us know what's going on. We're just a small company with a big image, and Abby Connect helps with that.

    Abby Connect has been nothing short of excellent. I've been a tenant since 2007 and I'm really pleased that Nathan has lots of success and he's allowed me to be with him all this time. I've used their virtual receptionist and incoming calls services, and they treat my calls and my clients with respect. It gives me the appearance of a professional firm and that certainly cannot be measured in gratitude. The representatives have always been extremely pleasant. They've had some turnover and unfortunately, some of them don't know who I am and when I'm in the office, so they'll sometimes call my cell phone not realizing it's me in the office. I have to let them know a client is here, but it's just to be expected with some turnover. Overall, they inspire loyalty. A relationship was formed and I think that's worth more than money.

    We are leasing an office space in a building that Abby Connect occupies and we use them for our phone service. They're answering my phones for me and it gives me the ability to take calls or not, which is huge, rather than being tethered to the phone and having to deal with every call. The girls that are answering the phone are all very professional and good. They follow our instructions without any issues. When there's a new girl there might be something that gets overlooked but as soon as I notify the supervisor, I never have the issue again.     We were looking at different solutions when we were starting our business so I went and checked Abby Connect and really liked their L.A. office that we signed up with. We use all of its features - the receptionist service where all of our calls go through, the mail daily, the voicemail and the conference room a couple of times a week as well. We've talked to their team members who are great. They're good enough and have thought about them during Admin Professionals' Day because they're always so accommodating and seem to genuinely want to help us out.

    We're very pleased with Abby Connect, always happy with the cleanliness and always feel like it's a professional environment. However, there are two things that stand out. One is I don't like it when I'm sitting in the lobby and I hear calls for different businesses being answered. I feel that maybe the receptionist upfront shouldn't be answering a bunch of different calls and that it detracts from the professionalism a bit.

    Then also recently, Abby Connect put us over the voicemail system and before when we would answer the voicemail, we would get the caller's phone number first, so if during the call and they didn’t leave their phone number, I get blinked out or it wasn’t clear, we still have that. Now, it doesn’t have that and the voicemail system seems to be shutting down mid-voicemail. This has happened a few times and the timestamp is wrong on it now as well. They have proposed a solution and now they're sending us our voicemail via email. Nonetheless, we're really happy with Abby Connect. The system is a good way to keep our overhead down and I feel like the girls that work there go above and beyond to make things easier for us. I have recommended them to friends.

    Abby Connect is what they use here in our office building for answering our phones. They answer the phone downstairs and they transfer phone calls to us. If we miss a call, any voicemails go automatically to our computer for us to reply to the call, instead of having to come to the phone itself. Abby Connect is terrific. We always have good service. It goes down every once in a while but not usually for any length of time so we’re good.
