    The service is really good. There's not much to answer on the phone but they do a great job. They get the calls over to us when we're not in the office. They're easy to work with. We call them from time to time as a customer and they do great. They do exactly what they've been instructed to do. The cost is inexpensive. For the amount of minutes that we use every month, the fee is phenomenal. If we went over, it's still extremely fair and certainly less money than hiring somebody to answer the phone, and then still we would only have 8:00 to 4:00, 9:00 to 5:00 coverage. With these guys, we have it pretty much around the clock.

    I've been able to answer and make initial communication or contact with the client who is contacting me. If I'm busy, Abby Connect is able to take the message and I can get back to them. A lot of times during my day, I'm going and Abby helps me to stay more focused on what it is that I'm doing because I don't have to stop and answer the calls or deal with an issue. When I first started, I was trying to figure out how to get the calls rerouted back to me so I had to add an additional line. But they were great with that. We've had a couple of little issues. And I wish there was a way for them to let me know how many minutes I'm using and when my amount is going to be doubled because I don't know until I get the billing. But overall, it's been good. They do a pretty good job and I'm happy.

    We have three different companies that run through Abby Connect with 24/7 bilingual. We're using all the functionality that they offer and we've never had one problem. We get a lot of great compliments from the way they track us down and find us all over the country and make sure we get things handled. We have apartment buildings and we have contract manufacturing. So, we use everything from emergency services, paging, dispatching, as well as communicating problems in apartments where tenants might have a water leak or toilets backed up and we have to send somebody in. Abby tracks down maintenance and they pass on all the maintenance tickets and makes sure that we have all the proper tools when we arrive at the apartment building to correct the problem the first time rather than going back and forth.

    We also run all of our sales through Abby Connect. So, anybody inquiring about renting an apartment goes through there. They have a list of about 20 questions they ask. They collect all the information, then they send that information over to us via email and text so that we can immediately respond and let the individuals know that we got their request for information and a potential rental. So, that way, they think we're the place to rent from. They really enabled our teams to over-communicate to both customers, as well as our internal organization because they work with all the latest technologies, the texting, the phone calls, the emails, and they do it 24/7. Also, they eliminate any barriers that we used to have with linguistics. But if they can start paying folks that speak Greek and Romanian and so on so that they can support multicultural tenants that we have, that would be great.

    I was doing Google searches for the best virtual receptionist. I was checking out Abby Connect's website and I sent in an inquiry. The salesperson I spoke with was telling me that Abby Connect is very familiar with law firms. So realizing that they're familiar with area of business, that was what mostly attracted me to Abby Connect. Overall, I’m satisfied with them. The feedback I've gotten is that it's professional. I had another virtual receptionist company before, and they weren't as professional. One of my clients said that every time they call, they always have to repeat the spelling, and it's a little bit tedious. Now, Abby Connect changed it to where they're going to ask like, “Are you an existing client?” So, they won't have to ask for the spelling each time. It's been addressed already.

    I liked that Abby Connect had a trial and their packages were reasonable. It was a good fit for me. I also like that they have an app on the phone and it has functions such as being able to see some of the stuff available on there as well as the online part. I like being able to log in and seeing how many minutes I have used. But the app doesn't seem to be as live as I would have liked. Sometimes, it doesn't give me notifications until hours or days later.

    I also had two issues with Abby Connect. The first issue that happened a couple of times was they were saying the name of the firm and my last name wrong. I had two clients notify me that the name was wrong and it doesn't look very professional if the person working for me doesn't know the name. I let Abby Connect know that and they said they were going to fix that. I haven't heard any other issues so far. The second issue was I wasn't too unhappy with the fees going up. I don't use anywhere close to the number of minutes allotted so it's getting to a point where Abby Connect is getting a little bit more expensive than I would like.

    But for now, Abby Connect has been working and I have been happy with it. They have freed up some of my time so it helped me to be a little more productive. Any time I've questions or needs up there, they are usually responsive and open. If issues come up, they've are able to help me address them and figure out ways to prevent them in the future.

    We use Abby Connect for our after-hours phone calls. We use a regular answering service, and we found that Abby Connect was more like having your own reception staff still working 24/7. It was more of a professional way of answering the phone. It didn't sound like people were calling an answering service, it sounded more like they were reaching the office and Abby answers the phone as though they're reaching the office. It's been better that way because people are more apt to speak with someone when they think they're talking to an office. When they think they're talking to a service, they don't necessarily stay on the line. We had an answering service that we weren't so happy with. They were leaving people on hold, making people wait long, and not answering the phone for many rings. So, we made the switch to Abby. Then, we started out with using them after hours.

    We were happy with the services, so we started using them throughout the day as overflow. So if we don't pick up the phone in a certain number of rings, we have them picking up the phone. It's worked out pretty well. We like that they'll answer our calls, and then they'll send us an email or they'll call directly to our line. If they can't get us, they send us an email with the information that we need, and then we call the people back. It's been a pretty good experience.

    If I have a question or an issue, I've called and somebody has gotten on the phone with me and then it's been addressed. I've had a couple times where the individual that answered the phone maybe didn't have all the correct information, but that's been less so than in prior instances. We get pretty thorough messages that are left about what someone called about and what they need. They'll send us an email with that, and we can kind of parse through the message and determine whether it's an important call, not an important call or one we need to have.

    I needed somebody to answer the phone and I availed of Abby Connect's services. They call up and say so and so is on the phone. I either say I will take the call or that they put it on my voicemail. Abby Connect has been generally pretty good. It's just every time I pay on the app, it's telling me I can't. I have to reenter information and it’s telling me my information is not right. But I'm very aware of my information. I wish the app would let me make the payment so I don't have to make the call every month.

    Abby Connect is always super friendly and nice. They're passing on calls that they answer and giving me an understanding of what that person wants. Then, depending upon whether or not it's necessary for me to take the call or if it's just, “Hey, here's the answer. Give it to them,” they're fine with that, too. Before them, we would have a lot of missed phone calls. It's helped in regards to having someone answer our phone in real-time and help facilitate where those calls need to go, versus what we're doing before, which was someone would check voicemails.

    Anytime I've had a problem, I've called and discussed it with them to try to change some things. If only they could understand a little bit more of how our business operates. We're an online marketplace, like a truck trader or auto trader, so we get a lot of people calling and asking us if we have this part and they'll pass those calls on. It's kind of just an education process to let them know we don't have inventory. We just provide a place for buyers and sellers, so they would need to contact a dealer-type thing. But then it's not that big a deal. They're only doing what they know so they always have a positive attitude and a good tone in their voice. I have no problems recommending them.

    I was looking for a solution to make every single day less urgent, answering calls for the school I own. My business strategist said that I should get an answering service and my SEO company strongly referred Abby Connect. They put the call number in with dashes, which was really great because it was hard on the eye. The ongoing training’s been really smooth. When I don't want to talk to employers anymore, Abby Connect can direct them to the website, and our website’s almost up to speed to handle it and have it manage itself.

    The only thing that's scary is that we're going to be at the 500-minute thing. We’re going to do four seasons and so my teammate and I are constantly watching the minutes to decide what to do. But we're just now getting into Q3. Our Q2 was well worth it and our busiest booking season, but moving into the slower seasons, I wish we weren't having to be on the ball with trying to figure out and check those minutes and setting up reminders for ourselves. I wish it was simpler around, like, “You guys really are closer to the 200 versus the 500.” I don’t want to lose this service, but at the same time, I don't want to pay for 300 plus minutes if I'm not using them.

    Otherwise, Abby Connect is a miracle. Every receptionist that rings are as friendly and bubbly as can be. We have people thinking that with the way that the receptionist interacts the whole time, they’re talking to an extension to us, which is exactly the right thing. It’s so cool. I have to explain to them that we use a remote receptionist service. If Abby Connect was female-owned and operated, I could connect them to an entire network of folks that would use it. Nonetheless, they turn small business operators into small business owners.

    We needed some assistance with answering the phone. We were short-staffed. So, Abby is helping us with the phone system. It's good. I like it. Everyone's super nice at Abby. One suggestion from the team, is when Abby calls and someone is not able to pick up and the person does not leave a voicemail, it would be easier if we could identify who that person called. Because when it shows up on our caller ID, it just shows Abby. Other than that, Abby helps us because we have a high call volume. So, it lets get a more work done instead of answering the phone every two seconds. We're very happy with Abby.

    An associate I know was using Abby Connect and since we were looking for service, he recommended them. We use them strictly for their receptionist service, then call routing. In terms of response from the customer rep interface, the service has been good. In terms of with the receptionists, it’s not horrible, but it also could be improved. When I get inbound calls, they transfer the call and that's all working fine. But when I ask for that individual's name, company and phone number, we lose that data. And a lot of times, in my position within the firm, it’s not great when I have to ask them these things. So we would prefer that the receptionist take that data than me.

    When Abby Connect answers the phone, I read the email. I also get the little app on my phone. I rarely go on the dashboard because everything is sent to my email so I just look at and read there. As a matter of fact, 75% of the time, I see the number come through first in a split second before they pick up. Sometimes I'll recognize the number, or if the caller ID will say who it is, I don’t know who it is.

    Having them has freed me up from constantly having to pick up the phone. This way, I decide whether I want to take the call or not. It puts me in control because about 30% of the calls are just 1-800 numbers, 877 numbers, or people that would just be bugging me for something or trying to make an appointment for something. I got one compliment about them. I got a lot of Spanish speaking people, and this older lady who cooks something for me, wanted me to go by her house to pick her up, which I did. She asked where is my secretary from. She thought the Spanish one is my secretary. I told her she's from Puerto Rico. She then told me to send the food to her as well.

    Overall, I’m very happy with the service. It’s very cost-effective compared to what you get, the relief of your time, the convenience, and also records between the app and your emails. The way these folks handle everything, and things that come up, and things that they need to do, are meticulous. People think it’s somebody that works for me and sitting in my office. I really appreciate everything they do. It’s a big help.

    I've been in business 18 years and I've been using a reception service for eight years. We're very simple. Instead of going straight to voicemail, we need to have a live person during business hours for someone to talk to. We switched from Ruby Receptionists to Abby, and I like Abby better.     I did the trial and Abby Connect was very good during that time. I got a lot of good feedback from my customers so we just stuck with them. All of my calls go directly to them so they filter out those before they send them to me or other members of the staff. They provide an additional layer of customer support so that my phones don't ever have to go to a voicemail or anything like that. I like having somebody live answering the phones.     Abby Connect has been very receptive. Having them has been very beneficial, especially during COVID. We were all working remotely, so it was helpful to maintain a central call-in number. Many of our calls are people who aren't clients yet, looking for information on various topics, and that information is fed into a central program where our attorneys can pick up the leads.     We are a small family-owned company and we pride ourselves on customer service experience. Abby Connect best exemplified what our value system was. If there are questions that I can answer that they can answer for my customers, they're very quick to make those changes. I just finished my two-week trial period. They're getting all the phone calls at this moment and they're just learning our business. I'm just considering if I should just keep one line open that goes directly to me for those customers that don't want the buffer. If I tell some people to call me back, they still have to go through Abby. Some don't like that. Those are the little things that I've got to figure out how to best handle in the future. It's also a little pricey for a small business like mine. If it's on price, there's more opportunity there.

    Abby Connect seemed to be the most responsive out of all the companies that I talked to. They also had good pricing. We're using their receptionist service and they are answering our calls as if they were in the office. Then they're transferring them to us either blindly or just direct transfer or calling and checking in with us to make sure we want to take the call. They will also email us a message if it seems like it's a solicitor. They make a note of that. So that's really nice, that we're not just getting 76 voicemails of straight cold calls.

    We did some downsizing and let go of our office manager and our receptionist who handled a lot of these calls. So, a lot of it would have ended up with me. The system that we've put in place has just saved me hours of having to handle phone calls and my daily work being interrupted by that. It's a great cost-saving as well, if you think we had two salaried positions that were doing some of this work.

    They've been great. We've been able to refine our policies and protocols that we put in place when we started as we're going along, which is nice. It's not set in stone. Because we're property management, we run student housing properties around the country. We sometimes get upset residents, parents, and they seem to be dealing with that really well and it's not fun sometimes. The same person will call you back six times in a row. They seem to be managing that. With that as well, we’ve set up a new call flow if that's to happen again. They've been just great to work with as a team.

    The one other thing I like about Abby compared to a couple of the others that I talked to, is that we have a group of receptionists working on our account, versus just people calling into a call center. They start to get to know the type of calls we're getting, get to know who the callers are. So, that's really helpful as well, that every call isn't brand new to the team that's answering.

    I'll be driving most of the time, so I needed somebody to take care of my calls and it's been a good experience with Abby Connect overall. However, sometimes I feel like the calls are not clear. When I listen to the call recording, I never I’m able to hear what the customers are talking about. I only hear the receptionist. Also when they transfer the line to us, sometimes it gets hung up and sometimes the voices are really low. Maybe they can increase the volume.

    We initially had Aloware, and we were using texting through that system. My boss came across Abby Connect and wanted an answering service. We changed to them for our Heyday Retirement number and everything's been going well. We get so many wrong number calls and they have definitely helped me screen some calls. For the most part, they’re doing a good job of catching those. There have been a handful (10 at the most) where people try to transfer them to us, but it is the wrong number. The people that they get transferred to us are asking for their retirement information and we don't have the information they need or want. For the most part, everyone does a good job about transferring properly.

    Katherine is my main contact at Abby Connect for account services and she's responsive when I have to make any changes. Recently, we went from them answering 24/7 to now I'll answer during work hours, and then they’re answering on closed hours. There are changes like that that happen every now and then and I’m waiting for them to make that change at the moment. Whenever I call, there’s also usually someone different on their team that’s taking the call.

    Abby Connect is the best answering service ever. Initially, what we tried to do was have the operators schedule appointments for new clients or walk them through the process of our website and schedule an appointment that way but that was a little bit cumbersome. But I liked the way that Abby Connect was able to do the technology in a better way. We can change availability every day and there's a portal for that sort of thing. We can have calls forwarded to our cell phones. There's also somebody there to speak Spanish if we have a Spanish speaking client who calls in on the mainline.

    The Abby Connect operators are friendly and they're energetic enough to keep people engaged. We've seen an increase in the number of people who are interested in trying to get us hired or at least talk to us about a legal matter. There had been a few bumps when we started, but we got it set up. We were able to address concerns. If I wasn't answering, rather than tracking me down on three different lines, the rep was able to find ways to streamline that and make it a lot more efficient.

    I was looking at Abby, did research on them and everyone that works there seemed to be extremely happy with the company and its process. They were very price-competitive as well. It was similar pricing to everything else. Partnering with them has been great. I don't have to answer the phone. As a lawyer, I have better things or better uses of my time than answering phone calls. They field those phone calls to me and if it's a potential client or an existing client, they funnel it through. If it's cold call marketing, they stop it. So, I don't have to waste my time answering calls that aren't good for the business. However, they're not the same as having a personal secretary that you've hired to answer your phone. They know as much as they can know about your business, but at the same time, they are serving other people. But they manage to keep that down with a very small team.

    We partnered with Abby Connect because they specialized in financial services firms, for one. They also have a dedicated team for us so our clients will not be calling into this huge call center and getting somebody different every time. We didn't want that because we're a small Midwestern family business with a lot of elder clients. We wanted them to have the familiarity of recognizing a voice perhaps or getting the same people each time they called in.

    Hope and Katherine have been our contact people. They have been really super friendly, helpful and patient since the very beginning. Because with all of us working remotely, it was more of a challenge for us to all get together at the same time and figure out what we needed to do to make Abby Connect happen. We took three months to get this together and they were very patient with us and explained things very thoroughly.

    We got the voicemail tree set up, so people can choose to either have Abby Connect connect them directly, or they can send an email, or now they can leave a voicemail. They have three different ways of contacting us. Our office manager is a lot happier now because she's not answering the phone all the time and she can get a lot of her work done. It seems like at least half of our calls on some days are just solicitors and hang-ups.

    We've only had one problem area and that is back to those Midwestern, elderly, slow speaking clients. Several of our clients have complained that Abby Connect receptionists talk too fast and they can't understand them. Even I am on the portal a lot, at least once a week, and listen to the calls and they talk way too fast. I've been working with Katherine to ask specific people and I can tell by their initials on the call, to slow down for our Midwestern elderly clients. I keep checking on that because they forget every once in a while. That's been our only frustration.

    I like that Abby Connect is flexible. They're not really going off of a script as much as they are trying to understand what my business does and how to interact with the callers.     Our workload has gotten so extreme over the past year. Unlike some businesses, we've seen a massive increase and our business is very personal. A lot of clients, when they were calling our offices, they are getting sent to a general voicemail box or being put on hold for a long amount of time. I gave feedback to my boss that it would be a better client experience if they at least could speak to a human being on the phone. Many times, we're working with so many hundreds of vendors at one time that we may not be able to pick up a phone call and we don't know the number. But if we had the ability for someone else to screen the call so we could see if it's something that's 911 where we can pause what we're doing, that that would be beneficial. That's why I suggested the use of Abby Connect.

    What I like about Abby is that it's the same group of people. We have six people on our team. They're answering phones from us for 9:00 to 6:00. We have a rollover plan where it rings first with our team members because we do have some VIP clients that if they didn't get the specific team member that they're calling, they would lose their minds.

    After 9:00 to 6:00, they send us voicemails. We get text message and email alerts too. That's been something that's the most beneficial because we can have team members and litigation and closings and lunches, and a phone number can call that they don't recognize, and a text message goes right to their phone. They can glance down and see if it's something that they need to address immediately or they can wait, but they don't have to stop what they are doing or disrupt the current situation they are in or the relationship they're focusing on to take a call and find out who it is. We've used their callback feature but it's way more convoluted than it should be so we've only done that a couple of times.

    We were looking for a Virtual Receptionist service that would integrate with some of the software that we used. Abby Connect was one of those services. I love the feel that I got when I called Abby Connect and the friendliness of the service. They were upbeat and sounded like they had a cup of sunshine for breakfast, which is what I was looking for. I wanted the super-cheesy sound. I wanted the, “We're happy to be alive” vibe when people called in. Because sometimes, when people are calling law firms, sometimes, they're not calling for a good reason. I wanted people who called us to know that the person on the other end was just as excited about their business as they are, or they were going to make them feel better about whatever was happening.

    When I talked to Abby and told them that I was looking to switch, they didn't down our last service in order to make them look better. It was never about the old service. It was just about what Abby Connect could do for us. They have an app that allows us to be able to change their app preferences on-the-go, if they're receiving calls versus not receiving calls. I wanted somebody who was going to be an extension of our team, that people when they talk to Abby, would feel like they're talking to us. I wanted them to not think they were just getting a virtual receptionist that's in Nevada. I wanted them to feel that it was seamless and that was what I felt that Abby was giving us.

    Abby also integrates with Clio, which is our client management software. When a prospect calls, they can take the information to start their file in Clio for us. Abby's already making appointments for us. They see our attorneys’ calendars. They can make appointments for them right away. Now, we're able to serve our prospective clients and our clients faster and better because they've already started the process. So, no longer do they have to call Abby, Abby takes a message, or they transfer them to me, and I'm not available and I have to call them back. There's none of that back-and-forth. That fosters the trust that we want to have with our clients, which is a really big deal to us.

    We had an instance where one of the receptionists told someone they couldn't give somebody their email address. It was just a mistake. This receptionist not only just said, “Okay, sorry. I’ll do better next time." But what was really impressive to me, they called that person back and said, “I'm sorry. Let me give you the email address.” That step forward, that “I want to go the extra mile,” that, “I'm going to correct,” possibly could have been right. Because maybe we would have lost that person because they were like, “Why can’t I get the email address? I don't want to go with this company.” I never told the receptionist to do that and that was during the trial period. I was like, “I'm sold.”

    Abby is a huge addition to our team because they really are the face of our company to all of our prospective clients. I ended up choosing Abby because I felt like they could handle that, they would do it well, the price was right, they integrate with our software and they're super-happy all the time.     I wanted to have someone be always able to answer the phone live. We don't have someone now so we need someone to be able to do that, and then transfer the calls.     Our firm used to have a receptionist but we downsized a lot and we didn't feel the need to have a full-time receptionist. So it would just be easier to have a receptionist company do it for us.     Three years ago, I was looking for an answering service. I'm based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Abby Connect was local to me, and this was how I started working with them. I had the company, but back then we did not have an office and I didn't have a secretary. They will try to call me in another line because sometimes I can pick it up, after they've gone through the service instead of having to call them back. It's always very pleasant. When we asked them to get additional information and what questions to ask, they were very accommodating. It's working out very well.

    It's certainly worth the investment to try Abby Connect's service for a month. I was a little hesitant in going with the service because for so long, we didn't have one, and it seemed to be working. But I feel that it's been better and that clients get to talk to a real person versus leaving a voicemail if I wasn't able to pick up the phone.

    I had a choice between Abby Connect and two other companies. I learned about the services and Abby kinda fit what we needed. They answer and process calls with a live person. They provide us with a transcript of any voice messages. They operate on multiple phone lines so they're passing multiple phone lines to multiple individuals inside my office. It’s great.

    With Abby Connect, we've been able to cut costs in that we don't have to have a receptionist alive in the office and we've been able to have live answering service during COVID. We've yet to have somebody say, “The people are rude,” so it's pretty seamless so far. We've also been able to increase the productivity of the individual who was the receptionist because now she's just a file clerk and she can handle all of the filing stuff without having to answer the phone.

    Sometimes you won't get any calls on a day and I think it's a little bit odd. I would make a phone call to be sure that the service is functioning correctly because it could be Frontier and it could be something happening at Abby. It's just to check to see how it's flowing. But generally speaking, there have been no issues up from Abby’s side. There was an instance where I've received an invoice with additional minutes. We went over the minutes and it was accurate. Abby works with you and they're good. In terms of what we're getting and what we pay, Abby is worth it 100%.

    We needed Abby Connect for COVID. We were working remotely, and then had our calls forwarded. Abby Connect would contact the attorney or the paralegal that was being contacted by the client, and it worked great. After this month, we are back in business. It's been really good. It's hard when they do the connection, though. It may have to do with call volume, but often there was a really bad delay. The client might be saying something, and then I try to answer their question and they continue to talk over me. I don't know if that was just by virtue of just a lot of people using the service. The further we got into it, the worse the delay got.

    It started for us with the coronavirus shutdown. We closed off. Instead, Abby Connect allowed us to keep the phones answering in the 24/7 part of it. We’re not just continuing but we at night rolled the phones over so that we have somebody answering the call throughout. It helped. The only thing was that when they would connect somebody through, there was a little beep or some sort of audible indicator so one would know when the hand-off had occurred. Like in this instance, when the lady comes on the line and says, “I have so and so for you,” and I say, “Okay, go ahead and put them through.” Just a silence – and I don’t know when that connection’s been established or not. So, if I start talking too soon and then I’ll be hearing the person and if I wait too long, it’s kinda awkward. It’d be nice if there were sort of audible indicator of when the person was on the line and able to hear me. But we’ve been pleased, so we’ll continue with them.

    We’re a virtual CFO company so having a virtual recipient just made sense. We didn’t wanna have someone in-house do it nor did we have a true phone system. Everyone uses their cellphones. The other option is to have a robot speak but that doesn’t have that personal touch to it. The only thing that was a downgrade was that they were mispronouncing the name of the company in the beginning. So that was obviously an issue. One name is sometimes a hard word to say but the other, not so much. Nonetheless, it was obviously an issue that we had to mention and it was rectified quickly.

    Sometimes we also need a better understanding with the team at Abby Connect. We have three different departments in our company and a lot of times, the receptionist doesn’t actually ask what a person is calling about or maybe it's just not clear which department the call is supposed to go to. So it goes to the wrong person. But we probably just need to communicate better with the team. Our interactions with them have all been positive too.

    We found that people were extremely frustrated with an automated answering service so we thought we’d give a live answering service a try. I did a little bit of research online and saw that Abby Connect was pretty highly recommended so I thought we’d give them a shot. Our main line is answered by Abby Connect 24/7 and those calls are routed accordingly to whomever needs them.

    The team at Abby Connect has been great. I’ve been very pleased with the fact that I have sort of a go-to account manager. We’ve had to make changes twice now but each time, the changes were easy to make. We’ve been able to have a conversation about what we’re experiencing, what we think and where we think the problem is, and work on a solution together. We’ve been very pleased with that, too.

    We were really clicking when we signed up with the service in February so it’s unfortunate that this hasn’t been a very good microcosm of utilization of their services. There was two-week trial period to try and figure out where our level of service should be at and we just happened to be right in the middle of a global pandemic. So, it’s extremely hard for us to even know that we’re utilizing the services correctly or if we’re utilizing the right services. Phones aren’t ringing ‘cause our business is predicated on private air charter, and private air charter is driven by being able to travel. We’re starting to see a significant uptick in several of our online activities and our phones are ringing a little bit more. So, hopefully, in the next 2-3 weeks, we’ll get back to some semblance of normalcy where we can actually effectively evaluate those things.

    Abby Connect got good reviews. Then there was a 14-day trial so I was happy that I was able to try it out first and see how I would feel. I like the app. It is very useful, so it’s easy to check the messages. But I use basically answering the calls and then transferring them to my cell. It’s been good and pretty helpful. I don’t feel like I'm losing the calls. However, it doesn’t seem like the messages are really recorded promptly. I think some of them are prompt, some of them aren’t. It seems like there's a lag. Also, it doesn’t seem like all the calls get forwarded. Most of the time they do and it seems like the important ones do as well. But so far, so good. They answered all my questions promptly every time I called or had an issue. In a way, it seems like someone is actually there. I don’t think a lot of people who call realize that it’s an answering service, so that’s important to me.

    The service is doing really good. A lot of the impact it has is just having people be able to have that live experience all the time. Also, it helps us to get the right calls to the right people. We first wanted to look into it the service because we’re not a huge company. We were about 21 employees at around the time we started and I was the primary person who answered the phones but I also had a lot of other responsibilities and meetings to attend so I often missed a lot of those calls.     I called and personally spoke to somebody at Abby Connect and I just liked them and their business model. They're also a little bit cheaper than Ruby, which was the other competitor I was considering. I use Abby for their answering service. It seems to be working all right. However, yesterday, I had a disgruntled client call saying that they were having difficulty getting through to me, so I wrote an email about that to my contact and tried to reinforce their clients or priority. I’ve never met anybody who’s answering the phone, so it’s difficult for me to have interaction with them.

    It’s impossible for them to feign that they're my personal receptionist. I don't think that really works, maybe on a very superficial level, to somebody who’s never called before. But for a client who knows me, they're just gonna say, “Why couldn’t I get through?” Or if somebody says, “Can you just check on him for me?” They could say, “Let me check to see if he’s available.” But if I’m not picking up the phone and they say, “When is he gonna be back?” and they don't have access to my calendar, I don't think there’s anything wrong with them saying, “We’re a remote reception service, but I can get the message to him and see that he contacts you back.” And just leave it at that. That’s the only negative impact. But overall, it seems to be working okay.

    We were using Talkroute and it sounded almost like a robot. A lot of people don't want to go listen to a whole bunch of extensions. They would always just press 0 and it would get routed to the CEO of the company who definitely does not have time to take care of all the calls. So, we decided to go with a receptionist company. I have never heard of one before in my life. I googled and looked at a few companies, and Abby Connect was the one that stuck out to me the most. They were the ones that had a very reasonable price. The fact that they did a 14-day free trial was amazing as well and everybody has been super nice. We're more than happy with the people that we chose.

    I'm the office manager here and my personal favorite about the system is the customer portal. I have access to see how many minutes we've used, how many minutes are left. I can see the payment breakdown. If I see that we're growing a bit more, then I know that I can always add in more minutes at any time too. And it doesn't disrupt our contract. I am able to monitor and validate everybody's calls as well. Everybody here is independent and they have the capability to just ignore Abby Connect, but everybody has been using them as highly as I do and it has been working wonderfully for our company.

    Their reps answer the phones really quickly. They're 100% polite. They take to change extremely fast. There was one for we were asking them to ask way too many questions and that was my fault because I was trying to think of all the aspects. Whenever I did a couple of test calls, it took way too long. As soon as I made the change, they went ahead and did it right then and there. I called them right back as another test and all the changes were made. Everybody's super confident. They're absolutely wonderful to work with. Abby Connect is the best that we have used. They were able to choose a local phone number for us as well. So, whenever we told them the area code, they were able to provide that to us. They're very personable and I absolutely love them. It's very good and a lot more better to have somebody like them around, as opposed to having an actual receptionist here.

    The solution that Abby Connect offers is exactly what we needed. It took work off our plate. It allowed us to not have to waste additional resources on trying to find somebody to answer our main line and then find a way to transfer the calls over. They also take messages for us sometimes. Usually, I’ll get a couple of calls from them during the day and they always say who they are and that they're calling from Abby Connect. So, “Hi, I’m Sarah, calling from Abby Connect. And I have so and so on the line. They're calling from this company and they're calling regarding this. Would you like me to transfer them over to you?” And I either say, “Yes,” or I say, “Please take a message,” or I’ll direct them to transfer the call to someone else here if the call should be routed to somebody other than me. We were trying to use RingCentral to do that but it was just really convoluted and didn't work well.

    Abby Connect's solution was super simple. It gave us a smooth, easy system of answering the phones and getting the calls to the people they need to go. It eliminated some of that people calling in and looking for someone, but having the wrong number. It really helps our clients and customers, and people calling in get to who they need to get to right away without us having to spend any additional time on doing that.

    I’ve had answering services in the past, but I’ve never been happy. There was no one trained and they could never pronounce my name. It was terrible.     Abby Connect was easy to set up, and it seemed like a good value. They text us or email us voicemail transcripts where they forward us the voicemails. They do call forwarding, so they're reaching out. My cell phone and my main office line ring simultaneously, so it's been very helpful for us. However, there can be a significant delay in the way the lines have to be transported from one to the other. So, when I'm talking to somebody and I'm done speaking, it takes a little bit to get to them, and then they take a little bit to get back to me.

    Nonetheless, we don't miss any calls. People go less with voicemail and get assistance more directly. I have a written track of the topic of voicemails that easily filters out and it lets me save money upfront because I don't have somebody having to answer phones, but my customers aren't stuck on a voicemail system. They're actually talking to somebody live, and we like that. We used to have a voicemail system, and that was frustrating as people get lost in it.

    I had some feedback that came in an email thread and some client of mine out west said, “You know, I think Glenn’s the only one there doing it all.” So, I thought it might be helpful to have someone else grab the phone, particularly if I’m gonna be running around now, conducting a bunch of meetings as the business grows. So, I did a search on the internet for services like that and I wanted a live service and went through, and then I narrowed it down to two or three. I read reviews and there were so many. The reviews were fudged or faked on by various sources. But I read what I thought was independent reviews and Abby Connect always came out on top. We got them and I wasn’t too worried about the pricing because the prices were comparable. I've only had them for less than a year and them taking messages gives me a little more time.

    I haven’t utilized all their sources and resources as of yet. I just switched over in my system here. I had a fax service too and I was paying almost $20 a month for that. I looked back at 2019, I had nine faxes, and my daughter who works for an interior design firm said, “Dad, nobody faxes anymore.” So, I rigged it up just to come in to my computer, the fax number. And I haven’t tried yet flipping over between this line and the fax line. Also, I would get as many as a dozen robocalls a day with an average of three to five. All of them were junk and a couple of them were political. But Abby Connect's huge help was eliminating the robocalls. I'm very pleased with them. My experience with Abby Connect has been very good so far. It has relieved me and I greatly appreciated it.     It’s been pretty positive so far with Abby Connect. We don’t have a large volume of calls incoming. It’s just for the nature of our work. A lot of it is already working for existing clients, but they’ve done a good job for us so far. It has probably improved efficiency as the rest of the team have a little bit less distraction with dealing with incoming calls. We’re in New York and we get a lot of spam calls, which are either just robo-calls or some foreign language BS, just a giant waste of everyone’s focus where they have to pause what they're doing to deal with that.

    Our interactions with Abby Connect's team is fairly minimal, but we don’t have a lot of needs. We’re a small consultancy. So, if that changes, I’m fairly confident on the basis of the experience so far that they’ll work with us to do whatever we need to get done. I didn't do enough depths of research in the market to see how other service providers compute on pricing. But I feel like for my business, their level of pricing for this quality of service is great. But for a start-up company, it might be a little bit too expensive to use and take full advantage.

    I learned about Abby Connect at a conference about a year ago. I’m a small business but I got sick of fielding calls from solicitors and having clients call me when they didn’t have scheduled appointments, so I use the service mostly as a call filter for me. I’ve only been with them for about two months now, but even after just the first week, I realized how much less the phone is ringing so it has been nice. Even somebody who normally I would talk to calls, if it’s not a good time, it’s easier for me to just have Abby Connect deal with that rather than me picking it up and then trying to make an excuse for why I can’t talk right now. It helps a lot and I know that they screen a lot of my calls for me, so it makes a big difference for my work day.

    I’m just still a little bit confused about messages. Sometimes I’ll get an email notifying me of a missed call. Sometimes I get an electronic voicemail. Sometimes I get like a transcribed voicemail. So, I’m not sure what the difference is and I don’t even know if there’s some inbox that I should be clearing out. But I haven’t made much of an effort to research that, so it’s not necessarily on them.

    A couple of years ago, I tried one of their primary competitors for a call service and I let them go after like a month. I’m a female with a male name and my calls were letting me know that I was being referred to as he by my call center. And it stands out for me that Abby Connect has gotten that right when other companies couldn’t figure it out, even after me asking them several times to make note so that it was addressed.

    Also, whenever I have a question or I contact support or any of the callers who call, everyone is really professional. I don’t know them at all but I feel that they’re a part of my team as opposed to me just feeling like somebody using a service and being just another client. Their team does a really good job of being friendly and personable. And they always help me whenever I have a question or I’m not sure about something.

    I called around a few different companies and Abby seemed like the better fit for us. I man the phone almost 100% on my own but I like to go home at once. Primarily, I use Abby Connect to pick up the slack when I need to. They are able to take down the information and I don’t have to go through voicemails and call everybody every morning. I can go on to my emails and see the information they sent, most of which includes what I would normally get from the callers myself. I can then call and set up those appointments, versus having to listen to voice mails and missed calls.

    Some of the caller people don’t like to leave voice mails and are more apt to talk to someone. Abby Connect also helps in the morning where my phone is blowing up, during that 8:00 to 9:00 slot when everybody is trying to call and I’m not in the office. I’m not getting my phone constantly ringing and me trying to manage that and drive.

    We have used a call center a couple of years ago and we quit using them because they just wouldn’t get the information we needed. And no matter how many times we discuss with them what we really wanted, it never worked out. When we first started with Abby, there were a couple of little things to work out to make sure that they were getting the kind of information we needed, which they did well, and knowing which calls to forward to me, even if I had the phone forwarded to them. It took one phone conversation to let them know which calls are important and need to come to me, and also the ones that are not necessary. The slight adjustment was within that first couple of weeks that we were using them. I've recommended Abby Connect to a couple of different people that have been looking for a phone service. They are not the cheapest out there but it seems like a solid, good service, and I don’t have any issues.

    Having Abby Connect has been of vital impact to our business. We were able to create a business that had a professional front side to it that we didn't have before. I had used a similar service in the past but didn't like them.     I use Abby Connect's virtual receptionist service and it took my business to make people think that someone here is answering the phone, so in that way I don't miss any calls. Dealing with them has been very good and they’re always cheerful. They do a good job. I just don’t know if they could have an app where you could changeover the number through your phone when you’re not there. The only issue I have is that sometimes I'm not around to do the call forwarding, and I don’t know if there’s a way to do that through my phone. I have a part-time secretary, so let’s say she has to leave and now I have no phone coverage. So, I'm not in the office, if there was a way to do it remotely. Nevertheless, I would recommend Abby Connect. They also looked like the most reasonably priced option.

    I’m new in this office and I cannot yet afford to hire a receptionist. I prefer not everybody be directed to an answering machine or voicemail. I feel like that’s unprofessional and so I used Abby Connect. I really like the way that they ring me and let me know who’s on the line. I can speak or ask them to put them through to my voicemail. In terms of what they offer, the best thing is having a live person answering my phone. I also like the email feature for voicemails. It’s a little extra to add the text feature but I’m gonna do that because I really like the voicemail text.

    At the very beginning I did one of those intro sessions where they asked how I would like the phone to be answered and how different calls should be handled. Everyone I’ve spoken with has been really friendly and courteous the whole time so that’s been really nice. I also had a friend of mine call to set up an appointment and she told me they were great.

    Personally, I feel like Abby Connect presents a more professional appearance and that is a big part of being a lawyer because so much of what I do is showing up to the courthouse, doing the paperwork, and meeting with clients. I guess so much of it depends on how clients perceive me and my business. So it’s really important for them to have the perception that I am competent and I am a good attorney, but they need to believe that too because lay people don’t necessarily understand a whole lot of what attorneys do, so there needs to be some level of trust. In order for them to have that, they have to feel like you’re legitimate so that helps with that. Overall, I’ve been really pleased with the service and I’m happy about it.

    A friend of mine who’s an attorney recommended Abby Connect. I’ve tried other services, but Abby is more upbeat and positive, and they tend to answer the phone, consistently. I send my Google ads calls, so I pay a fair amount to get people to click and call, and I’d send them to Abby because I know they’re gonna answer the phone and they’re gonna leave a good first impression. I got other calls that are kinda mediocre that I use another answering service for. But my most important calls are the ones I send to Abby Connect.

    It is difficult to deal with added law firm knowledge on people who are not at a law firm, but Abby does a good job following instructions as far as a couple of screening bits of information that I want. But if they’re not certain, they always reach out and say, “Hey, I got a unusual situation,” or “This is kind of a slightly different thing here. What do you think?” And they’ve gotten enough information for me to make an informed decision, usually right off the bat. They’re great. I’ve tried using another service and they don't compare from a customer service standpoint at all. So I came back to Abby Connect. I’ve definitely recommended them to my friends.

    I used VoiceNation before. With them, when the customers called, it seemed like it was a call center and not somebody working in your office. It is the opposite with Abby Connect. The transfer of the calls is good because they can transfer it to either myself or my assistant, depending on the need of the customer. And when they put everything into an email, when they take a message, that’s also great. They are always very friendly. They let me know who’s calling, and where they’re calling from and what they’re calling for, and then they transfer the call or they take a message depending on where I’m at the day.

    Abby Connect helped in the fact that when people call, they think they’re talking to someone in your office, so we’re gathering a lot more information we may not have got before because if people just receive a voicemail, they probably would’ve just hung up and call the next company. It helps getting the information and being able to go back at a later date. It would be a good idea to give Abby Connect a try because they’ve helped me in a lot of ways. Being able to take on calls that I may not be able to answer at any time of the day would be definitely beneficial to anyone.

    I googled Abby Connect, checked out their website, and looked at the services and stuff that they offer as well as their hours. Their services fit well with our needs and we got them to answer all of our inbound calls from our website. They answer every call, and it’s a lot. We have them do something probably a little bit different and unique than maybe other people. They fill out a lead capture form at our website when they field the call because we don’t wanna miss any of our customers’ information. That way, when they transfer the call, they’ve already gathered information which is vital for us. Also, if nobody’s available to take the call, we’ve already captured all that information. It gets text messaged and emailed over to us, so that we can have that information to call them as soon as possible if we missed the live lead transfer.

    We’ve had some glitches with trying to get Abby to get the right calls in order as well as calling orders and stuff in order, but we have so many calls coming in, and we’ve been with them so long that it’s bound to happen. Still, Abby has had a good impact on our business. A lot of it has to do with the amount of money we spend on our marketing dollars to drive the business. But it has allowed us to never miss a phone call. And if we do, somebody’s answering the phone and capturing that data for us to be able to call them back.

    I use a virtual system from Abby Connect, but the parts that really help me are the messages that they leave and the 24-hour service. I like that they text me when I get a message, and if I respond, they could respond back.     A while ago, we used Ruby but we got rid of them and switched to Abby Connect. But they're pretty similar. We use Abby's live answering service and getting set up with them was pretty easy. We've been using them for six months now and partnering with them has been helpful to our business. Their receptionists are very nice though my exposure to them is limited to when they’re forwarding a call to me. Also, when the calls are forwarded to my cellphone if I'm in the car, a lot of times, there’s a lag that makes it a little difficult to talk to people.     I was doing research on an answering service and when I talked with a big company that I always hear on the radio, they told me that we were too small for them. Then, I did comparison shopping and I came across Abby Connect. I liked how they thought and what they had to say. I also liked that they are local and that they are in the same city I’m in. So, I called them up and they impressed me from the get-go, so they kinda won me over from day one. When I started working with them, I had nothing but positive experience from our initial account rep. In fact, I had a client who came in over the weekend and mentioned Mariah, the receptionist, by name. She told me about how great she was to talk to and I was telling Mariah that. So, we’re thrilled.

    We've been using Abby Connect for six months now and I have recommended them. We use their virtual answering service and the voice. They also send the messages to us including text messages and emails. All of those are really convenient and our clients are much happier now. The perception is not that we’re not available, which is important because when we’re with clients, we don’t answer the phone because that’s inappropriate. So, that’s changed a lot, which is fabulous.

    A couple of times, we didn’t get digital notifications of voicemails being there but we’ve had four actual voicemails in the six months that we've had Abby. Otherwise, people like to leave a message. All in all, I have been impressed with the quality of the service. I’ve had former clients come back after years of not being in the studio who mentioned to me how upbeat Abby Connect's reps are. They said that the way that people have answered the phone have been impressive and that they don't give a canned answer. It’s an answer that’s tailored to our business and how we do business.     Before Abby Connect, I was with a service for about 16 years and when I called to find out about live receptionist, they sent me to a call center that you could tell was in a foreign country. I wanted to make sure that my customers were able to talk to somebody who spoke very good English. I did not want it to be farmed out to another country. So I’m very pleased with the service from Abby Connect. It's exceptional service. We asked our customers how the interaction was and they have praised how friendly and helpful the Abby Connect people are.

    I’m a member of FPA and they have a discount with Ruby Receptionist, which led me into looking into a virtual receptionist service. I did some comparisons around some of the other companies and I came across Abby Connect. Their pricing is good. I also like that we'd have an assigned team of receptionists who don't work at home, so we don't have to worry about hearing a dog or baby in the background.

    We have five people answering our calls and any inbound calls answered during the day is the best feature to have. It keeps me from having to answer the phone every time it rings. It saves me more time. Also, it creates a good impression on new clients because before, they would just leave a voicemail and that wasn't good. Abby Connect's team has also been very easy to speak with. Elena has been my main point of contact for any questions that I have and she has been very responsive and helpful.     Using Abby Connect has been a great decision. They are a little more expensive than a lot of places like AnswerForce, but it’s all worth the increased cost. I get the value from it. We used AnswerForce at my old firm and Abby is night and day, much better. I like that they have a team dedicated to my business. They answer the phones and help screen or gather some information. There have been a couple of times when they may not have gathered exactly the right information, but that has been the exception. My interactions with their reps have been awesome. I’ve had a lot of clients or potential clients comment on how much they like the receptionist. I also had after-hours, but it wasn’t worth the cost because there wasn’t a ton of calls.     I was doing a web search for Ruby because I saw one of their ads and then, I was presented with a banner for Abby. I clicked on that through an organic search. I have spoken to Ruby and I wasn’t happy with what I heard so, I ended up looking at Abby Connect. I did a trial with them and the minute that I signed up, the way that they handled the interactions, the customer service, the account manager I interacted with, it was beyond anything that I’d ever experienced before in terms of professionalism and attention to detail.     I was trying a few live answering companies that I found on Google. I had tried a few for a few days, but I didn’t like them. Then, I tried Abby and their service is a little more personal. Abby assigned a few people who would get to know the business and answer my calls. The other ones had a call center with hundreds of people wherein it would be a different person answering each time. And so, the people were just sort of caught off guard and didn’t know how to pronounce my name nor answer questions about my business.

    I have the extended answering hours service with Abby. So far, partnering with them has been more professional. I have peace of mind knowing that when I can’t answer the phone, somebody will. I also listen to the recording sometimes and the people are really friendly to the callers. However, I set my status as one thing and they don’t always read what my status is.     We needed something that would work with our phone system. We had the Intermedia and they were so difficult. We had been missing calls because the whole system was not working.     I was doing research to find a virtual assistant. At which point, I found a review from a law firm saying that Abby Connect was a great service that was offered. It was a live receptionist, it was a monthly fee, they did excellent work, and it received excellent feedback from clients. My biggest concern was that they had experience dealing with law firms and that they were personable. When I first got on with Abby Connect for the first month in November and maybe a little bit in December, there were a few issues that I had with getting my calls forwarded from my office phone to Abby. But they helped me work through with AT&T to get that resolved.

    I appreciate the live receptionist that Abby has. I like it too when they send me an email if for any reason I can’t take the call or if a call was made after hours. The email contains information on why that person called, what they needed, and the way to contact them. I appreciate having that form laid out perfectly and sent to my email directly. They also schedule through Calendly.

    Partnering with Abby has been incredibly positive. Everyone has commented on how personable my staff or the receptionist is. I am at ease and I feel very confident knowing that if someone calls and I’m not available, someone would be there who would answer and can also schedule appointments. It’s been really great for the business as well as saving on expenses. But it'd be great if they could offer a service where they could do a follow-up call. For instance, maybe I could message them somehow to say, “Hey, can you contact this client to schedule an appointment?” That way I wouldn't have to make that call myself and take office time to do that.

    I tested three different companies’ services out for a free trial, and found that the girls that answered my phones from Abby Connect seemed to be the most energetic, outgoing, and professional. They answer my calls very quickly and professionally. I also appreciated the call recording they were offering. Not every other company was able to get me instant call recordings from the calls that came in, so I could review those calls at a later time.

    My rep at Abby Connect has been great. She has been very responsive and communicative and we have a good relationship going. Abby Connect is more expensive and on the higher end of the cost and if you compare, there are a lot of cheaper services out there. However, when I call in to a doctor’s office and the other companies are answering service calls, they are so monotone on the phone and there are always those weird sounds in the background of other people talking. It doesn’t seem very professional and I wanted to pay for extra for a service that I knew was gonna be a premium service. And that’s what I feel that I have with Abby Connect. It's the best solution that I could find, but I wish they were cheaper.

    I enjoy the portal I have that I log in to to check everything. There were some technical changes that I requested that they could make to improve the portal a bit. Back on September 20th, my rep Marianne said that the software development team has been trying to make some significant changes or fix what I was having issues with, but I haven’t seen those changes yet. They said they were working on that a few months ago, but I haven’t seen that happen yet and was hoping to see that. They told me that they were going to be coming out with an app for our phone soon that hasn’t been released. There is an announcement area on the dashboard and the last announcement date was from 9/1/18. There should be some updates and I’m still waiting for them.

    There is a bit of a lag time on some of the stuff, but it doesn’t really affect the core solution. When I listen to the call logs, I have to download it, but I’d rather go straight to the website and just hit the play button and play it through the website instead of having to download a WAV file, then use a third-party app to play it. They said they are working on that. The calls are recorded up until I answer the call and I was hoping there would be a way for me to optionally record my part of the conversation if I wanted to, but they said they can’t do that right now. I get a lot of sales calls and spam calls, and some of Abby Connect's other competitors won’t charge me for those calls. But Abby Connect does and it would be nice if they would do the same thing as what their competitors do. That would give Abby Connect a bit of an edge.

    I’ve been using answering services for a very long time and had switched from my former service, Billie Clarkes to Ruby. I was not happy with them, and I was searching online and found Abby. They offered a trial period, so I did that, and I was happy with them. I use them for all my office calls. The office calls go to them whether it’s after hours or daytime. I use their receptionist services. They’ll pre-screen my calls, then they’ll transfer the calls to me. I get all calls or emails, and I get text updates of new calls that have come in as well.

    I’ve had several compliments on Abby, but nobody ever complimented my previous answering services, so that impresses me. Primarily, the set up is if I have any questions, I’ll email them then they’ll have somebody from their team that gets back to me. They’ve been responsive, well-mannered, and easy to work with. When I was using Ruby, the customers call and they’ll just take forever talking on the phone. There’s also call waiting and it was always a struggle to get them to just get to the point. But with Abby, they’ll just get to the point and tell me who the caller is. They don’t waste time, and they’re still polite so I like that. It's been a pleasant experience.

    We did some research online to see which answering service was out there, what they had to offer, and what would fit our needs the best. We decided to get Aby Connect as our full time answering service and they are great. During the free two-week trial period, they were very responsive and we had great feedback with some of our clients or vendors that have called. They're very prompt and very polite. They're there all the time answering the phone and with no issues. It helped a lot that we haven't had any missed phone calls or lost in the process of trying to reconnect phone calls to people. We talked to their reps during the initial set up with the program and since then, we've made two phone calls to them. Then the rest of our communications are done by email and they're quick to respond through any changes or questions that we've had. We would recommend them.

    Abby Connect was listed positively and there are really positive reviews from others so I went ahead and tried their free trial. That was incredibly helpful because it proved the fact that they were incredibly useful towards our business. Surprisingly, it was a phenomenal experience from the get-go. Before, we had an automated recording saying that most of the answers can be found online and that customer can check out our FAQs. If they really needed something to get answered, they could leave a message and expect a call back within about five hours. But that wasn’t a really good experience for a guest.

    Having Abby Connect definitely impacted the business in a positive way. It’s nice to get a person on the line. In fact, we're a unique customer for Abby Connect in the sense that everyone else uses them mostly for answering service or while you’re out of the office. But we are actually having them perform services that are a bit more advanced in the sense that they’re looking at some of our FAQs. They’re able to look into our system and see if you have a reservation. Then if it’s a more complex thing, they try to escalate it to one of us depending on where the problem is. When they forward the call to us, at least then we would know that it may be an urgent thing or a callback. If it’s not urgent, Abby Connect would take a message and say that we would call the guest back.

    We’ve figured out a workflow too. We went back and forth with regards to figuring out how to better be able to answer some of the questions, tweaking the flow of when to reach out and telling someone when and when not to escalate something and who it should be escalated to. Their portal is really easy to use and in addition to the calls getting answered, we also get a notice for every call. There’s a call log that comes in to all of us so we have a distribution list, like a little summary of the calls that came in, if they were able to capture the name of the person, the number and what the call was regarding. It helps us get some feedback of what people are calling about and where we can maybe add information to the website to better the user experience.

    I know that Abby Connect is more of a call answering service but I wish they can go one step deeper and allow our customers to place orders over the phone. That’s how our customers wanted to call in. So we have to basically say that for security reasons, and this is also on Abby Connect’s part, they have to go online and place their order there. But it also helps because a lot of our legal stuff is through signature by virtual documents. So we make sure that they have a working connection already, in order to be able to do that, because it won’t work over the phone. Other than that, the people at Abby Connect are super. They’re always willing and able to help. They’re also willing to go above and beyond, and that was what we wanted.

    We've been with Abby Connect for five months now and we use their answering service. They are super polite and great to talk to. We have a lot of our clients that prefer calling them than calling us directly. I know they're working on a couple of different features such as picking up a call recording after a call has been put on hold or transferred and I'm looking forward to it. Although they do a great job of forwarding information after they receive the call, getting a voice of the recording with an answering machine for instance, would pretty much take it to the next level and that would make it easier for us to get the contact of the call.     When I was getting ready to fire my old service, I did some research on the internet and Abby Connect kept popping up in my search results. Abby has been very reliable and they follow my instructions. They do what they say they can do and I pay them a premium for 24/7 coverage while the other company overpromised and under-delivered. They presented themselves as bigger than what they were but when I called, it got really bad one weekend and they told me they don’t have the ability to do the work. I paid them a premium for the same thing. It was the third hiccup. It was a $5,000 piece of business that was getting ready to walk away and I happened to be there to see my phone. I called, I sealed with the deal and the business came in the door. But I was really fusilladed. What if I had not been there to see that? That’s $5,000 that just walked away and went to one of my competitors. Abby has not had that issue.

    Abby's principal job is to answer my phone promptly, pleasantly and get me information so that I could get back to the people. They do it 24/7/355 which is what I need. In exchange, I pay them a hefty fee but I don’t burden the receptionist with doing client intake or asking a thousand questions because a large percentage of people who call my office hour is really crazy and stupid so, it is better for me to sift through that. I try to be a low maintenance client and they are fairly responsive. So, once they set up, the process was over. I had a few clarifying questions but I try not to bother them and I don’t want them to bother me. I just pay them for what they do. Abby is something that distinguishes me from my competitors. I want the people to like me and I got two compliments on my receptionist since I have been with Abby. I highly recommend them.

    We are a small firm and we needed a reception service. I did a ton of research and I knew a lot of lawyers had been using a service called Ruby Reception, so I looked into them quite a bit. I almost went with Ruby but I looked online and read a lot about Abby Connect and decided to give them a try first. One of the things that I kept reading about Abby was that they had the opportunity to do longer hours of reception service and 24-hour rollover service if we needed it. We do personal injury as specifically geared towards law enforcement first responders and since they work 24/7, that is something we need. We only have two lawyers and a couple of employees here, so there is no way we could be on-call 24/7. But, if our clients needed to reach somebody, we needed someone that could take the call and at least send us a voicemail or an email.

    Dealing with the Abby Connect team was pretty simple and the set-up took me about 30 minutes on the phone with them. They walked me through everything and wanted to know a little bit more about how they could explain different questions that are often asked. For example, how to get to our office, fax number and phone number, so they could answer questions on our behalf and not have to reach out to us. Then they would always call and introduce themselves. They would say, “Hi, Michelle. This is so and so with Abby. I’ve got so and so on the line and he wants XYZ,” so that I don’t have to take the call if I don’t like to. I can say, “Will you please take a message?” or “Sure, put them through” or “Can you send them to x person instead?”

    They are always really great to talk to and it is lonely when I'm working in an office by myself, so sometimes, I will get a call from them and they brighten my day. It feels like I’m working with someone when I’m all alone. We love that they are so perky and they answer the phone right away and track us down on our cell and none of our clients know that they don’t work for us. We had just about five different people that always answer the phone, so everybody thinks that the receptionist works in our office. It doesn’t sound like the typical reception service that I’ve used in the past. Abby is super cost-effective and I’ve recommended them highly. In fact, one of our lawyers has a solo practice and he’s about to sign-up separately. I’ve come through a lot of different reception services in my time as a firm administrator with different law firms and Abby Connect is, by far, the best I’ve ever run across. I’m really happy with them.

    When I wanted to get an answering service, I remembered when I called ** once and I liked the way it was. I was told that they used Abby Connect. I am an office manager and I have a small office. It’s very important for us to have our phone answered by a live person whenever somebody’s out or we’re all out on an appointment. If we have a meeting out of the office, we would forward it to Abby Connect and then they would answer it. If there’s a client that needs us, they would call me right away. I like that a lot.

    The team at Abby Connect is always very pleasant when they call me like they might have a caller on hold. I’ve heard feedback that they are pleasant to my clients too. My clients are happy.     I was looking for facts, cost and services and contacted Abby Connect. It turned out to be a pleasant experience. We keep our phone calls forwarded to them all the time and if it's somebody that they feel like we would want to talk to, like customers and suppliers, we have them put through. It helps us to screen out telemarketers and stuff like that, that we get all the time. Abby connect has been beneficial to our company. It takes a little pressure off of us to not to have somebody by the phone all the time and the reassurance that a live human is gonna talk to them and not a machine.

    But when they put the callers on hold I'm not sure exactly what they tell them. But then, they have to turn around and make a phone call to us, tell us kinda what the call is regarding. And then, we tell them either to take a message or just send it through so a little bit of time passes. I had one fellow that was kinda frustrated about it. He got the impression that the agent was taking other phone calls in the time that he was on hold. In fact, she had called me to ask me if I wanted to talk to the guy or not. But that was the only time we've had anybody really think it was something less than seamless. And there's also a delay in the phone call so any time that they send a call through to my cell phone, there's a lag in the conversation. There's something systemic there that's a problem. So overall it's been somewhat liberating to have them working for us but then there's a couple of challenges that exist also.

    I would recommend Abby Connect. They answer calls as if they do work for our law firm, and they give excellent service. Abby was a referral from one of the girls who work here and because they offered a promotion, we went with them. We use their live answering service and they answer phone calls when I’m off or on vacation. Also, when I have errands to do, I just transfer the calls to our phone, so they answer and it helps us get all the calls. And then when it’s an emergency, they call my cellphone.     I googled virtual call centers or virtual receptionist and there was a website that was more specific to that industry that had reviews. I filled out their forms. Abby Connect was one of the better ones reviewed there. I had another firm or two in mind. I called those other firms, but they didn’t answer and Abby Connect did. They were very friendly and I thought that if I’m hiring an answering service, I really would like Abby Connect to answer the phone.

    Back in January, I used RingCentral and we tracked our calls. One of the problems we have as a property management company is we get a ton of calls and a lot of them are not important. Even though we’re a brand new business in January, we got around 1,200 calls in the month of January, so for two people to handle that was really hard. A part of hiring Abby Connect was I set up a phone tree first and then I hired another company to take some calls, and Abby Connect to take my sales calls that I couldn’t get to, as well as handling some that push through. It has been taking the call volume off my plate.

    Before, when my phone rings, I had thought it was probably not important or probably something I shouldn’t stop to answer. Now, I know that when my phone rings, it’s important because either someone has my direct line trying to get a hold of me or Abby or if someone for some other emergency that’s got to get a hold of me. So, there’s been a huge reduction in stress for me and it has really helped me to focus on what’s important rather than what’s not important.

    I have had a couple of interactions with my account manager at Abby Connect and with the ladies on the phone. In general, it’s been one of the most outstanding customer experiences I’ve had because of their attitude while they’re on the phone with you. For me, to have the confidence to know that my phones are at least being answered in such a cheerful, happy way is awesome and refreshing and also to know that they are on top of it. One time, someone asked for Amy and I didn’t even think to tell Abby Connect that I had someone now named Amy.

    Before I knew it, I had an email or a call from my account manager within three minutes saying, “We’re so sorry, we didn’t know this.” I said, “Well, why are you apologizing? You should be chewing me out because I didn’t tell you about it.” And they said, “Well, can you tell us who is Amy and what kind of calls would you like routed to her and how would you like us to handle this or handle that?” It was awesome and they’re super on top of it.

    We were dissatisfied with the company that we had before, then went online and Abby Connect popped up. Abby was easy to work with and 100% better than the previous company and we’re satisfied our experience with them. They sent a text and an email, so we got the message immediately. Since we went with them, we haven't had clients telling us to get rid of the service anymore.     We did a bunch of research on answering services in general for small businesses that weren’t like a big call center. We like that Abby Connect is the same dedicated team of people that answer our calls. It’s not like a giant room full of people. Now, their portal is good for access and their setup was easy to get going as well.

    We had a couple little bumps when we got started. There were times that I had to babysit a bit because sometimes we saw that they put a lot of calls on hold for like a long time. Sometimes, if they’re busy, they’ll put people on hold or sometimes, all of our consumer calls go to one person in one place. But the good thing is that every time I had an issue, I reached out to Abby Connect and told them that we needed to fix it. They were really responsive. We stuck with them and stayed with them because they make the adjustments and then launch. So far, Abby Connect has been good. We figured that if they’re good at answering the phone for a legal office, then they could probably handle our calls since the people that call for legal offices are much more labor-intensive and are usually angry.

    Working with Abby Connect has brought about a more professional appearance to our company and it has taken the load off of us in answering the telephone calls. We also utilized them for their Spanish-speaking abilities. When we were searching for this level of service, we wanted someone to be able to schedule our clients' appointments by using Calendly. Abby Connect said that they could do that for us contingent upon the scheduling being a simple process. They told us that they didn't use Calendly and asked if we could use another service instead. We also told them that depending on what they have, we would try it. So, they didn’t promise that they could use Calendly and provide the service that we wanted, but they didn’t give us any inkling that it would be a challenge for us.

    After getting some time down the road trying to use what we have in place, they would not use our system. We bought a premium version of Calendly solely for Abby to be able to do what they said they could do for us, but Abby said it was declined and that they cannot schedule our appointments for us. They said we could give them a link which they could give to our clients who could then schedule their appointments themselves. But that is a turnoff for us. At this point, we don’t feel like having the pain of finding another company and another empty promise on the same project then having the same situation. But we're in bed with Calendly and we pay them. And we pay more money to use Abby's services than we would have had if we have not used them. So, we're a little unhappy about that and as soon as we hire someone who can look into another service solution provider, we're probably gonna switch.

    I’m glad I heard about Abby Connect. I used to have another live answering company but it wasn’t as personal at all. It was an answering service. Abby offers a lot more personal to a business and the other companies have not caught on to that. Abby has been great and seamless.     We used Specialty Answering Service or SAS before. And there's a big difference between that and Abby Connect. We were having a problem with accuracy of recording information before.     Abby Connect has been a positive experience, which is why I just recently converted from their free promotional. They have given us a more personalized face for whoever is calling us and having a receptionist who picks up the phone when we have either potential clients, potential business partners and vendors makes things look professional. More connections are being made and it also minimizes lost business in a sense that sometimes, if there is no one to pick up a person's call, they'd just hang up and not gonna leave a message. I had RingCentral before and I had a Dial by Name Directory but it was that situation where you want to pound the phone and say, "Connect me with somebody so I can ask somebody a question and get on with my day."

    Also Abby Connect's team is super cheery and positive. They always sound like they're happy to be at work, which is helpful because they're essentially representing our company. But what I really like is that you have an actual person there who can problem solve for you. They don't have to have a ton of business knowledge about our particular industry, but there is somebody who can be on the other end of the phone who's understanding and can help the caller find a person. Then they can also make phone calls. Also when someone calls, they tell you who's on the phone, asks you if you want to take the call at that moment or if they'd just take a message for you and to have the caller call back later. That's helpful. At this point, the price is right and our relationship with them has been good. I don't anticipate moving to anybody else in the near future.

    I really like Abby Connect. I like their online reviews and I did a free trial. I was choosing between them and Ruby Receptionists and I thought they were cheaper for essentially the same quality. They're very professional and they sound like they’re just in your office.     They just do my call answering and that frees me up from answering the calls.     We were a customer of Call Ruby but we were having some issues with the calls being properly connected and some other things. So, we started looking at what else was out there. We did some searching on the internet and I found Abby Connect. We talked to them and ended up switching over. We're still new in the process, we just did this back in March, but it's better. Abby Connect uses a team of up to only five where our previous company, whoever was answering the phone, it could be one of 20 different people, so it wasn't a good consistency. I felt the ability to have this smaller number of people only answering our calls will give us that consistency because they'll get to know us better as we go along.

    We use the incoming calling the most. So, they're taking all of the calls that would normally go to our main line. And they're filtering those and then re-routing to the proper person. Everybody in our company has direct phone lines, so most of the time, people that are truly calling for us and our customers have access to those direct lines. But a lot of times, even our customers, they can't find that information and they'll just call the number on the website to get through.

    So far, it has been a positive experience. They've been good to work with and they have weeded out all of the solicitations so that's been a time saver for us. They've been really professional and friendly. We've had to have to a few course corrections though. It's been a little bit tricky for them learning the difference between somebody who's calling to buy parts for an existing machine or if they wanna call to buy a new machine. And we worked through those things. Also, we've recently changed our sales. We've recently gone to territory sales and so we've given them additional people on specific territories to filter leads or the calls and that seems to have gone over very smoothly. It's been a good process and I'm happy with their service. I would tell others that they're definitely somebody they should take a look at.
