Though the lending process took about a week, it was because my driver's license had to be corrected. I had a very good experience overall with Currency Capital and I was very satisfied. Without the loan, things would have been much harder for me and my business 'cause I would've had to get another trailer somehow and I wouldn't have been able to do that. I'd use their service again.

Lo and behold two months later they processed two payments out of our account on a loan that was never processed. We did get our money back, but I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. By the way, it is a lease agreement no matter what the guy tries to tell you.

I talked with her and said that, “I don’t need a normal rate to start a business loan start payment history to my small business because I’ve never had a loan.” She said, “Simply you pay the interest down payment upfront for 1600$ plus tax and documentation fee of 200$.” So I wrote the check for 2000$ and started auto withdrawal over a 18 month note. I paid auto transfer and the loan which she said is a lease with no buyout at end but 200$? I real a scam lease payments were completed and ended a couple months ago. I never got one letter from EVER then except they got bought out by another company.

I have a commercial loan for a semi-trailer from Currency Capital which gave me a little bit more business credit. I've been a trucker 35 years so it helped me with getting a trailer and possibly getting a newer one. The only bad thing that I would say is that they called me because one of my notes was due. When my fiancee called them, they were saying that my note wasn't due until the last day of each month. I told them I would pay on the 28th of last month and the lady said the last one was really new. They worked the last two months but they debit my account previous to that and made me pay for a charge. Also, the guy named Calvin was pretty good at what he does but he got a little cocky. He probably wouldn't act that way if I said where I'm from. Other than that, if anyone asks me about Currency, I would tell them to go there. The person who we made deal with maybe a little cocky but the program was excellent.

I went to pay my trailer off four months after I bought it and they made me pay the entire five years plus all the interest for five years. She just said that she was the one I was going to deal with and I could file a complaint through email but she would not ever let me. It was a horrible experience and I was not happy at all. Before I was aware of how they were doing things, I got another trailer and used Currency for that, too. So, I’m stuck into that one and I’m just going to pay it off.

For example, they charged me over $2,000 even before I signed the contract or got a hold of the equipment. Then, two weeks after they told me that I was all done with them and they were not charging for anything, they charged me again. So if someone asks me about them, I'd probably suggest that they go with a different financial company that would tell them all of their charges upfront.

One week prior to a tractor auction I was told to go ahead and bid as I was approved for 25k. I emailed them to find out the interest rate and was quoted 3.5-5.4% depending on the age of the tractor. I bought a tractor at auction and called with an invoice to get things rolling. I was dumbstruck when informed that it was a 15% per year two-year lease with no prepay option. Essentially, the “loan/lease” would cost me 30%. Bait and switch... nothing changed in my credit in one week and my score is in the mid 700’s. I was lied to. Left with a scramble to get the money as payment is due in three days. RUN RUN RUN from this dishonest outfit... they are preying on the desperate and ignorant. Please read their reviews before doing business with these crooks!!

Currency Capital are loan sharks. Two words: Bait and Switch. They fooled me into taking a loan with them a very high interest rate to buy a work truck on eBay because they were the only lender that could come up with the money on time (they paid late). It was extremely stressful experience working with them. My first conversation with them was just an inquiry: "Can I afford this work truck?" By the end of the conversation I had stupidly signed a lease agreement while still on the phone with them without understanding the document. I was told I needed to sign the document to see what payments would be and that if I didn't buy the truck the document would dissolve. Their reps told me so many inaccurate statements about details of the contract I lost count and now I don't trust anything currency tells me.

Moreover, he took money out of my bank account twice without permission. Right now, I have to close my bank account and open a new one to stop them from taking money out. They lied to me and have taken more money out of my account than they were supposed to take. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't do business with them. I've been stuck with that one person. If I can trade that trail back in and give it back, I'd do it right now.
