I bought a 2025 Toyota Camry SE and have owned it about 8 months or so. I have this issue where the lumbar in the driver's seat swings around and hits me in the back while I drive. I have taken it into my dealership multiple times and they have replaced it 3 times. This time they called Toyota directly and said the spoke with an "Engineer" and were told this is a "characteristic" of the car and nothing can be done. So I paid $30+ thousand dollars for a car that smacks me in the back while I drive and feels like I'm a baby being burped. Would not recommend, it is the most annoying thing I have ever dealt with. It is my first and LAST Toyota.

Not sure if now Toyota scam people, but if you buy parts online the page asks you to select your vehicle or use VIN number. I used VIN number to get the right parts. After selected the parts that says EXACT FIT FOR YOUR 2021 CAMRY. So, I selected my items and proceed to complete my purchase. When I picked up my items the receipt says NO VIN NO RETURN. No idea why VIN number I used was not on the paper, but I thought I won't need to return it anyway. Looks like the parts center knew something that I don't (maybe 99% of sales online goes wrong).

When I was working on the installation, I noticed that the part does not fit my car. Wesley Chapel Parts Center can't help. Same as Toyota customer service. I just wasted $277.55. What parts center and customer service tech me: DO NOT BUY TOYOTA PARTS ONLINE, DOESN'T MATTER THE DISCOUNTS THEY OFFER IF YOU BUY ONLINE. You will waste money and time. Auto Zone, Advance Auto or O'Reilly's do not treat their customers like that.

I bought my Camry hybrid new in 2025. It's very comfortable to drive and performs well. Fuel economy has been very good, though like any other vehicle, that all depends on how you drive it. The software that it runs on is another story. I find it really annoying that if I want the car in sport mode, I have to reselect sport mode every time I start the car. For some reason, eco mode and normal mode, though, will stay active after the car has been restarted, as if somebody has decided that sport mode is "bad".

Also, I live in western Florida, where we use the a/c about 11 months out of the year. Every time I start the car, I have to turn on the a/c again and select the option to turn on air to the back seat area. Every. Single. Time. If I want to deactivate any of the other features in the software, same thing applies - it "forgets" and goes back to its defaults. The infotainment system is even worse. The screen has blacked out on me and had to be reset. When I am playing music from my android over Bluetooth and my wife plugs in her Apple by USB, the system shuts off my music and begins to play whatever is on her phone although the android is the primary device. Then it loses the ability to connect to my phone and needs to be paired again, which only works after multiple attempts. Horrible.

I bought the first version of the Toyota Camry Hybrid. Often hear never buy the first version of a new model. In this case that proved not to be true. Really fantastic car. I drove it over 275,000 miles with no major repairs needed. It got fantastic gas mileage. The ride with the combination of electric motor and gas was super smooth. Best made car I ever owned.

I recently purchased a 2025 Camry. Having driven a Camry before, I was expecting a better experience. I love the hybrid feature and enjoy driving around town just fine. On the highway is a different story. As long as the road is super-smooth, everything is fine. Problem is…not all highways are like that. On these roads, the car is very “bumpy” and extremely loud. I feel and hear every little bump or glitch in the pavement. I’m very disappointed in Toyota’s letting this go. I’ll not buy another Toyota.

Have a new Camry, have had for 9 months. The steering wheel leather is ripped, which was definitely done by the manufacturers when it was put on. Toyota said they have nothing to do with it, that I would have to pay $175 for someone to look at it when I have paid for a full warranty on this brand new car. Now it’s not even a year and it’s already ripping bigger. I can imagine what it’s gonna look like next year.

I am so aggravated with Toyota. This was definitely not my fault and they won’t do nothing about it. Now I have a brand new car that there’s a rip on the top of the steering wheel that is visible from outside of the car. Obviously, it was ripped when they were moving the car back-and-forth off of the truck into the showroom. I’m more than frustrated now. I have a brand new car that the steering wheel is ripping right in plain sight. Thanks Toyota. I’m gonna spread the word that you can buy every warranty. You can on this car in this incident. That’s not my fault is now my fault. It will not be repaired that I have to look at For years to come which I will be telling everyone I come in contact with. When they say nice car I’m gonna say you better think twice about Toyota. Wery very disappointed.

I bought a new 2025 Toyota Camry, after owning a 500,000 Corolla, "mostly trouble-free". My Hybrid Camry was having terrible mileage for the first 500 miles on my first trip. I investigated and found the oil was more than 5/8 above the full mark on the dipstick? Wow, when I called the dealer they told me that should be no problem, I drove back home 500 miles. I went to the dealer and they said Toyota has been slightly overfilling on all their new cars, I could not believe that Toyota Corp could be that sloppy on filling, but the dealer said it was normal.

After I went home and vacuumed out 3/4 of a quart of oil, taking it down 1/8 below the full, I took it out for a test trip and got 10 mpg better than when it was too full, of course. I also changed the oil because when I noticed the first time it was too full, from the original factory oil fill, the oil seemed to be foamy. Then at 5000 mile a tire sidewall failed, and I could not get a single replacement for the low-profile Hankook tire, from a major dealer. First side wall failure in 1.5 million miles of me driving. Toyota should have stayed with Michelin tires, looks like they decided to go the cheapest route.

I’d give my 2025 Camry a “3” at best. The ONLY reason I bought this car 5-6 weeks ago was because it’s supposed to get 47-48 mpg and the BEST I’ve got so far is 32.4 mpg. I’ve contacted the dealer a couple times now and was just told that "it’s probably the cold weather”. That is absolutely ridiculous that the cold weather would have that much of an impact. I was also told that it would get better mpg if I use “ECO” mode which is absolutely not the case because I ALWAYS have it in “ECO” mode. Sometimes it smells like something is burning and I also cannot tell any difference whatsoever with the temperature control settings when I adjust it from 80 degrees down to 60 degrees. But when you go one click lower from 60 to “LO” there is a HUGE difference in temperature.

So basically it’s either too hot or too cold are my options. The only reason I got this car instead of a truck is because of the mpg. 32 is not bad by no means, but it’s certainly not 48. The worst part is that my wife,,19 year old daughter and I went to the dealer planning on getting my wife a car…. We left buying 3 brand new cars!!! We don’t make the kind of money that we can just do crap like that and it was definitely a bit impulsive. I would just hope that someone buying 3 brand new vehicles on the same day might get just a tiny bit of help with their problems (especially when we were told specifically to contact them ANY time if we had ANY problems). Not thinking I’ll buy another Toyota at this point.

It's so disappointing in how Toyota & the dealers (don't work) with customers. In September Toyota sent (and still does) a letter stating how many ways buying a 2025 Camry would be a benefit for me. WELL IT'S NOW DECEMBER!!!! and three dealers with different results but all ended with no idea if or when I could get the car I want.

I purchased my 2019 Toyota Camry brand new. This year (2024), not even five years after purchase, the weather stripping around the panoramic moon roof needed to be replaced. This repair quote came back at $16,000. The entire panoramic moon roof needs to be replaced.. the entire roof!! No covered warranty and Toyota Corporate is not willing to assist with the repair. CONSUMERS.. BEWARE! Toyota is no longer a car manufacturer that produces vehicles for longevity. What a disservice to customers, just completely ridiculous.
